- 1:59Speaker 4: that Ahah, I sure win off.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:10Speaker 5: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Man.
- 2:15Speaker 5: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 2:18Speaker 5: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 2:22Speaker 5: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 2:27Speaker 5: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 2:31Speaker 5: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 2:37Speaker 5: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 2:41Speaker 5: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 2:44Speaker 5: just want his blessings and his favor.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I want.
- 2:50Speaker 5: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:52Speaker 5: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 5: And I've been a recipient of many of those and
- 3:00Speaker 5: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:05Speaker 5: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 5: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 5: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 5: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 5: because this is the part that message people up a
- 3:21Speaker 5: great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What happens when you get off track? What is that?
- 3:27Speaker 1: What does that mean? When you get off track?
- 3:31Speaker 8: See?
- 3:32Speaker 1: I've been off track.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
- 3:37Speaker 5: in so many aspects of your life. But what is
- 3:40Speaker 5: it that makes getting off track so debilitating to some people?
- 3:45Speaker 5: You know, there are some people who want theay off track.
- 3:48Speaker 5: They of course, they off the dream, They on to
- 3:52Speaker 5: something else. And you cannot allow the fact that you've
- 3:56Speaker 5: gotten off track to stop you.
- 4:01Speaker 7: Can.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I tell you something. Everybody gets off track.
- 4:05Speaker 5: There are people who are living their life's dreams in
- 4:11Speaker 5: spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
- 4:15Speaker 5: get off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The
- 4:18Speaker 5: simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
- 4:21Speaker 5: that's that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 5: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 5: comes the nay says, some of them from the outside,
- 4:35Speaker 5: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:39Speaker 5: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 5: You know, you start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 5: this is all just because you got off track.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It's not for you. Okay, here's another one. It ain't
- 5:00Speaker 1: to be. You can hear it all.
- 5:02Speaker 5: You could say it. Well, I guess it's just not
- 5:05Speaker 5: meant to be. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 5:10Speaker 5: who made the rule that when you get off track
- 5:15Speaker 5: you can't get back on? Who made that rule? Where
- 5:20Speaker 5: has that written that once you get off track you
- 5:23Speaker 5: can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell you something, folks,
- 5:27Speaker 5: there's no such rule. As a matter of fact, it's
- 5:31Speaker 5: quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit of a dream,
- 5:38Speaker 5: a goal, an aspiration, or mission is going to get
- 5:43Speaker 5: off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed. There are
- 5:47Speaker 5: going to be days where you're not going to get
- 5:49Speaker 5: it right. There are going to be days where you
- 5:51Speaker 5: feel like giving up there's going to be days when
- 5:54Speaker 5: you're just gonna flat out get it wrong. That's the journey.
- 5:58Speaker 5: But let me tell you something. Every successful person that
- 6:01Speaker 5: I know, ever met, talked to, set out, and chopped
- 6:04Speaker 5: it up with, have shared one thing in common. We
- 6:07Speaker 5: all get off track. We all get it wrong along
- 6:12Speaker 5: the way. I don't care who the person is. The
- 6:14Speaker 5: president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor got
- 6:19Speaker 5: it wrong along the way. Quiet director, go, I got
- 6:23Speaker 5: it wrong along the way. The principle at your school
- 6:26Speaker 5: got it wrong along the way. The valve victorian of
- 6:30Speaker 5: your class got it wrong along the way. The star
- 6:35Speaker 5: of the team got it wrong along the way. They've
- 6:40Speaker 5: all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 5: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 5: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:53Speaker 5: has any measure of success in every level that you
- 6:57Speaker 5: call success, however you want to label, it's gotten off track.
- 7:02Speaker 5: As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen to me,
- 7:07Speaker 5: it is impossible not to get off track in pursuit
- 7:14Speaker 5: of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible. Don't
- 7:20Speaker 5: you let nobody tell you that they got through life
- 7:23Speaker 5: unscathed that they made it because they were just so determined,
- 7:27Speaker 5: and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah, you
- 7:30Speaker 5: might not have let nothing turn you back because you
- 7:33Speaker 5: hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you thought
- 7:37Speaker 5: about it on days when you was off track. But see,
- 7:40Speaker 5: people don't like to tell the whole story. They just
- 7:42Speaker 5: want you to think as much as you can about them.
- 7:45Speaker 5: So when they tell you their story, they leave out
- 7:49Speaker 5: the stuff along the way. It was just hard work
- 7:52Speaker 5: and determination that got me here.
- 7:53Speaker 1: No it wasn't, No, it wasn't.
- 7:56Speaker 5: It was the fact that you got off track and
- 7:58Speaker 5: the grace and mercy God allowed you to get back on.
- 8:02Speaker 5: His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
- 8:05Speaker 5: would not believe what some of the people have done.
- 8:09Speaker 5: So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
- 8:12Speaker 5: outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
- 8:16Speaker 5: you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:21Speaker 5: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 5: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 8:26Speaker 5: understand because it took me some time to learn it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: See. I have a lot of naysayers out there, but
- 8:32Speaker 1: I ain't operating for them.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Operating function for the ones that love me, for the
- 8:37Speaker 5: ones that get me, for the ones that understand what
- 8:40Speaker 5: I'm really trying to do.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And so don't you be the one that.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Doesn't allow yourself to get back on track when you
- 8:50Speaker 5: get off track, Because, like I said, who made the
- 8:53Speaker 5: rule up that you can't get back on track? There's
- 8:56Speaker 5: no such rule out there. Stop yourself from getting it right.
- 9:03Speaker 5: So what you started to die at the beginning of
- 9:06Speaker 5: the year, and you already off start another one, start over,
- 9:12Speaker 5: try it again, don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying,
- 9:16Speaker 5: you can't make it. But if you never give up
- 9:18Speaker 5: the effort, if you never give up and say it's over.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It ain't over.
- 9:23Speaker 5: You heard the saying it ain't over, to the fat
- 9:25Speaker 5: lady saying I never invite her.
- 9:29Speaker 1: She's not invited. It ain't over.
- 9:33Speaker 5: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 9:35Speaker 5: fat lady stay. I have not send her an invitation
- 9:38Speaker 5: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 9:43Speaker 5: didn't ask me a couple of times, how come I
- 9:45Speaker 5: never get invited? Because you're gonna start saying it and
- 9:49Speaker 5: I ain't got time for that. All right, stop inviting
- 9:53Speaker 5: the Fat Lady to all your events.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention. Please, undivided
- 10:06Speaker 5: is the way we like to do it.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Today. It's a great day.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Please make sure that you are participating in it wholeheartedly
- 10:14Speaker 5: by offering some gratitude today. I don't know if you
- 10:17Speaker 5: understand this, but you don't have the ability to produce
- 10:20Speaker 5: a day, nor do you have the ability to wake
- 10:22Speaker 5: yourself up. Stop thinking it's your alarm clock that wakes
- 10:25Speaker 5: you up. No alarm clocks go off all the time
- 10:29Speaker 5: around this world with no answer at all. Your alarm
- 10:33Speaker 5: clock may go off, but it's only God who can
- 10:36Speaker 5: shake you, wake you up and allow you to hear it.
- 10:40Speaker 5: That right there deserves a debt of gratitude and thanks.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Make sure you do that today. Listen to Steve Harvey
- 10:47Speaker 5: Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior
- 10:54Speaker 5: to come back. Kid in the legend that he is
- 10:56Speaker 5: nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Y'all we gone.
- 11:00Speaker 9: Let me ask you about this.
- 11:02Speaker 10: It's the biggest misconception about manifestation that most people don't
- 11:06Speaker 10: get about Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 9: You know when you talk about how we manifest.
- 11:10Speaker 5: These questions somebody's questions. Understand. Yeah, I'm not quite understanding
- 11:16Speaker 5: the question. Help me a little bit.
- 11:17Speaker 9: Again, okay, uncle.
- 11:19Speaker 10: Like you know, you talk about like if you want
- 11:20Speaker 10: to manifest something, you want to bring something into your life,
- 11:23Speaker 10: and then sometime we miss it, it'll show up, we
- 11:26Speaker 10: get worried, we know what happened. I think I'm doing
- 11:28Speaker 10: the process right. And you always talk about how you
- 11:31Speaker 10: think and what did you think? And when you're thinking,
- 11:34Speaker 10: you said, if I think about this like a remote
- 11:36Speaker 10: on the TV, I expected.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Well, but you know, I mean, manifestation comes with a
- 11:41Speaker 5: requirement too. You just can't want something, you know. You know, people,
- 11:46Speaker 5: here's one of the biggest misconceptions. You ever heard somebody say,
- 11:49Speaker 5: if you want it bad enough, it will happen.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You ever heard that?
- 11:54Speaker 5: Yeah, Now let me ask y'all something. Have you ever
- 11:57Speaker 5: really wanted something and it never happened?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Of course, of course, won'ting.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Won'ting and manifesting its two different things, I believe, because
- 12:11Speaker 5: you know if both of them would require action. If
- 12:15Speaker 5: you manifest something to be true, it's going to require
- 12:18Speaker 5: as soon as you manifested. You got to have first
- 12:21Speaker 5: of all, faith, the belief that it can happen. Then
- 12:25Speaker 5: secondly you must remember that faith without works is dead.
- 12:31Speaker 5: So example, man, I'm gonna give me a job. I'm
- 12:36Speaker 5: gonna get me a job real soon. Okay, you're unemployed, right,
- 12:39Speaker 5: I'm gonna give me a job real soon. Thank you God.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I'm gonna get this job. And then you go home,
- 12:45Speaker 5: sit down. You don't fill out no application, you don't.
- 12:48Speaker 5: You don't, you don't send in no resumes. You're you're
- 12:54Speaker 5: just sitting there now.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You really think.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Because you manifested, but you didn't have the faith and
- 13:02Speaker 5: you ain't putting no work behind it, that you finish
- 13:04Speaker 5: got your job. So you think someone gonna walk up
- 13:06Speaker 5: to your door and ring your doorbell and said, I
- 13:10Speaker 5: heard you've been manifested and I'm here to phill it. No, bro,
- 13:17Speaker 5: faith without works is dead. You have to do something.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Faith with our works is dead. Bro, you gotta do something.
- 13:25Speaker 5: You can't just sit up in and manifest. Come on,
- 13:28Speaker 5: answers your question?
- 13:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 13:29Speaker 8: He answered it for me.
- 13:32Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 13:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 8: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:37Speaker 8: hear from the nephew as he runs that prank back,

- 15:00Speaker 7: When I to make sure I got the right dude? Man,
- 15:01Speaker 7: you live in Court right for apartments? Yeah, I live
- 15:05Speaker 7: going on, okay, you live in an apartment of three sixteen, right, yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 7: it is something I need to be worried. I was
- 15:11Speaker 7: going on with my no, no, no, everything cool with
- 15:14Speaker 7: the apartment.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Man.
- 15:16Speaker 7: I got your number from the lady at the at
- 15:18Speaker 7: the lease in office regarding sir, say, wasn't I what's it?
- 15:22Speaker 7: What's it in regards to well, Actually, what's going to
- 15:25Speaker 7: happen is I'm gonna move to Court and what I
- 15:28Speaker 7: wanted to do, you know, uh see me in every
- 15:31Speaker 7: apartment I've always had. I've always lived in apartment three sixteen,
- 15:36Speaker 7: and I know you in three sixteen, so they you know,
- 15:39Speaker 7: the girl at the office gave me you know, because
- 15:41Speaker 7: I don't want to move nowhere else where. I can't
- 15:43Speaker 7: be in room three sixteen. I gotta be, you know,
- 15:46Speaker 7: it's just real superstitious. I know, but I kind of
- 15:48Speaker 7: got to have part hold on you.
- 15:50Speaker 12: Say your name Vaughn?
- 15:52Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I'm gone right. And who gave you my number?
- 15:54Speaker 12: Again?
- 15:55Speaker 7: One of the ladies at the lease in office when
- 15:57Speaker 7: I was over there.
- 15:58Speaker 11: Who was it?
- 15:59Speaker 7: I can't really remember her name? Man, uh little hey.
- 16:04Speaker 12: Well listen, cut this and I'm gonna tell you like this, man,
- 16:07Speaker 12: I don't call you for nothing like that.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Man.
- 16:09Speaker 12: Now, I ain't moving out of my apartment. Man, I've
- 16:11Speaker 12: been staying up for four years. When I move out
- 16:13Speaker 12: of the apartment, I move in the house. You understand
- 16:16Speaker 12: all this got going with your which is which? Whatever
- 16:19Speaker 12: it is?
- 16:20Speaker 7: You're three sixteen?
- 16:21Speaker 12: You one three two?
- 16:22Speaker 7: That's on you, man, it ain't I got to stay
- 16:26Speaker 7: in three sixteen, man, See that, That's what I'm trying
- 16:29Speaker 7: to say. I don't sign the least, so I'm stuck
- 16:31Speaker 7: with it. I got to get that apartment. So I said,
- 16:34Speaker 7: I'm gonna try to tell you would you like to
- 16:36Speaker 7: which which other apartment would you like to move to?
- 16:38Speaker 7: And I'm going to get them to move yourself all
- 16:41Speaker 7: the time over than nothing.
- 16:42Speaker 12: I ain't nothing moving only thing gonna move is the numbers.
- 16:46Speaker 12: You can add them up, divide them, do whatever you
- 16:48Speaker 12: want to them. But I ain't moving, So you're gonna
- 16:51Speaker 12: have to get that to your head man. And really,
- 16:53Speaker 12: i'm because I don't know to gave you my number
- 16:56Speaker 12: was like this, I mean working Collis because.
- 16:59Speaker 7: I don't even know no vun no, no, you don't
- 17:02Speaker 7: know me.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Dog.
- 17:03Speaker 7: I asked them who was in three sixteen.
- 17:05Speaker 12: They told me, sain't none of your business going three sixteen.
- 17:07Speaker 7: Man, Hey, listen, man, I'm trying to do this as
- 17:10Speaker 7: respectful as possible. You know, like I said, I really
- 17:13Speaker 7: can't function unless I'm living in apartment.
- 17:15Speaker 12: Disrespect me, then do it disrespect for them, because I'm
- 17:18Speaker 12: gonna sew do this. You called me with like this,
- 17:21Speaker 12: I don't give a favorite now, don't care if that
- 17:23Speaker 12: was your favorite scripture.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Okay, Hey till me with like that, man.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Team.
- 17:27Speaker 7: Now, you're gonna make this hard, okay, So let me
- 17:29Speaker 7: let me tell you this to you. And I already
- 17:31Speaker 7: told the lady I want to be in three sixteen.
- 17:33Speaker 7: She told me I needed to deal with Dell. Now
- 17:36Speaker 7: I'm trying to deal with you in a polite way. Okay,
- 17:38Speaker 7: because like I say, I can't function man, unless I'm
- 17:41Speaker 7: in apartment three sixteen, I can't. I can't even get
- 17:43Speaker 7: them go to work. I cannot function. Okay, I have
- 17:46Speaker 7: to have that apartment number, dude.
- 17:48Speaker 12: Right, So it sounds like you got a problem on
- 17:50Speaker 12: your hands. Man, whatever your problem is, that's your problem.
- 17:53Speaker 7: Ain't got to do with me.
- 17:55Speaker 12: Don't call me, you know like that. Like I say,
- 17:57Speaker 12: I've been staying in three sixteen, I'm gonna stay in
- 18:00Speaker 12: three sixteen till I moved to a house. You need
- 18:03Speaker 12: to find something else to do. And really I'm starting.
- 18:06Speaker 12: They gave you my number to call me with.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I can't believe.
- 18:12Speaker 7: Like the way you're talking to you talking to me.
- 18:14Speaker 3: First, what you come at me with?
- 18:16Speaker 12: Come at me with a number that looks like you
- 18:20Speaker 12: man three sixteen?
- 18:22Speaker 7: What excuse me?
- 18:23Speaker 11: Doog?
- 18:24Speaker 7: What you're like you calling me with this?
- 18:26Speaker 12: I tell you what, man, come at me to come
- 18:28Speaker 12: at my problem that you're gonna see it? Man, you

- 26:56Speaker 8: all right. Moving on to Sherman and Patterson. Sherman I
- 27:00Speaker 8: was stunned after My wife lied to me about something
- 27:04Speaker 8: so petty. She was in the grocery store and I
- 27:07Speaker 8: saw her card there, but she told me she was
- 27:10Speaker 8: still at work. Now, I lie to her all the
- 27:13Speaker 8: time for good reasons. Why is she telling lies for
- 27:18Speaker 8: no reason? Come on, explain that one.
- 27:22Speaker 1: You cannot be the determining factor of when the lie
- 27:27Speaker 1: is told. You just said you lie all the time.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Well not get what she do too? Be lying too?
- 27:39Speaker 5: Listen, man, this don't do not turn away a gift?
- 27:46Speaker 5: Huh what do not turn away a free gift? Once

- 27:56Speaker 5: permission to lie at real. Oh oh are we lying now?
- 28:06Speaker 8: Cool?
- 28:09Speaker 5: So just going man, And it wasn't that big a deal.
- 28:12Speaker 5: She told you she was at work. She was at
- 28:14Speaker 5: the grocery store, you know.
- 28:17Speaker 1: But he want to tell you what now?
- 28:20Speaker 5: She just gonna tell you she forgot Yeah, I thought

- 28:24Speaker 5: grocery store.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, that's it's easy to get out.
- 28:27Speaker 8: But yeah, he doesn't mind the lion. He just doesn't
- 28:31Speaker 8: want her to lie for no reason, just a petty lie,
- 28:34Speaker 8: you know.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Always that's the issue that is all ways a reason
- 28:47Speaker 5: she told you that lie for a reason.
- 28:49Speaker 1: He don't know who is the reason that she was.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Somebody was in the grocery store at the same time. Wait,

- 34:46Speaker 8: facial imagine.
- 34:49Speaker 5: I can't imagine walking in the restaurant alone. I can't imagine.
- 34:54Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, yeah, it's a bit progressive.
- 34:59Speaker 1: It is all right, all right, moving on.
- 35:02Speaker 8: According to CNN Elon, Musk is on track to become
- 35:05Speaker 8: the world's first trillionaire, driven by the massive valuation of
- 35:10Speaker 8: SpaceX and as it prepares for his initial public offering
- 35:15Speaker 8: on the Nasdaq. He combined holdings across Tesla and SpaceX.
- 35:21Speaker 8: His combined holdings, i should say, across Tesla and SpaceX
- 35:25Speaker 8: are expected to push his net worth well over one
- 35:28Speaker 8: trillion dollars. Wow, that's a lot. Most of us can't
- 35:33Speaker 8: think past billions. But now he's on track to become
- 35:36Speaker 8: the first trillionaire ochre. He currently holds approximately two hundred
- 35:42Speaker 8: and seventy three billion dollars in Tesla stock. It should
- 35:46Speaker 8: be noted that Musk's fortune is primarily made of paper wealth,
- 35:50Speaker 8: which are his shares and his companies, rather than the
- 35:52Speaker 8: cash in the bank. Yes, Steve, yes, Hello.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Do you think Tesla is worth more than all this
- 35:57Speaker 5: oil in this world? You think Saudi, the uae Katar?
- 36:06Speaker 5: You think he got more money than them people that
- 36:08Speaker 5: run them countries. You have got to have lost your
- 36:11Speaker 5: rabbit mind. But this was a man that was in
- 36:14Speaker 5: charge of cutting jobs. Job mayor Doge, she had.
- 36:19Speaker 1: To justify their employment. He's a trick.
- 36:23Speaker 5: See Doge was a trick created by a project twenty
- 36:27Speaker 5: twenty five. Trump loved him because Trump loves anybody that
- 36:30Speaker 5: makes money, especially anybody who makes more money than him.
- 36:33Speaker 5: So he put him in charge of the budget because
- 36:35Speaker 5: he figured he would know. But no, he doesn't know,
- 36:38Speaker 5: because he's never been without. So he came in and
- 36:40Speaker 5: made all these massive cuts with DEI, all this his stuff,
- 36:44Speaker 5: not even understanding what he had done. That he had
- 36:46Speaker 5: messed up the aviation securities, that he had messed up
- 36:49Speaker 5: veterans or rights and benefits, he had taken everything, and
- 36:54Speaker 5: all those tax cuts that he called his self saving.
- 36:57Speaker 5: They gave those tax cuts, biggest tax cuts in history
- 37:00Speaker 5: to the rich and when rich people get a tax cut,
- 37:03Speaker 5: they don't take the money they save in tax cuts
- 37:05Speaker 5: and give it to you.
- 37:06Speaker 1: All right, clearly, all right, all right?
- 37:08Speaker 8: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Sir Idris Elba,
- 37:12Speaker 8: Sir Idris Elba says that casting a black man is
- 37:15Speaker 8: James Bond is unrealistic. We'll talk about it right after this.

- 56:48Speaker 11: We got it for you here it is strawberry.
- 56:50Speaker 8: Let up, all right, nephew, thank you. Subject. He's going
- 56:53Speaker 8: to explode one day, Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm dating the
- 56:57Speaker 8: most pleasant man in the world, and I'm just waiting
- 57:01Speaker 8: for him to explode. One day. We can be driving
- 57:04Speaker 8: along and someone will cut me off. My reaction is
- 57:07Speaker 8: to curse out the other driver. But my man smiles
- 57:11Speaker 8: and said that maybe the other driver is having a
- 57:13Speaker 8: bad day. I got packages the other day and it
- 57:16Speaker 8: was pouring down, raining, and it was left in the
- 57:19Speaker 8: rain instead of under the porch. I was so mad
- 57:23Speaker 8: that the next day I went off on the deliverer.
- 57:26Speaker 8: When he came by, my man came to the door
- 57:29Speaker 8: and pulled me gently away from the door and spoke
- 57:32Speaker 8: softly to the guy and told him he's sure that
- 57:35Speaker 8: he's doing the best he can at his job. It
- 57:38Speaker 8: drives me crazy that he doesn't get upset over anything.
- 57:42Speaker 8: Even when I'm not in the mood for sex. He
- 57:44Speaker 8: cuddles me and said there's always tomorrow, and he falls asleep.
- 57:48Speaker 8: I can't do anything to get him out of character.
- 57:51Speaker 8: He doesn't get upset with trifling service at a restaurant,
- 57:54Speaker 8: even when his order is messed up. Last month, he
- 57:58Speaker 8: got overlooked for a promotion at work, and he said
- 58:00Speaker 8: he's going to find another job because clearly it's not
- 58:03Speaker 8: the right place for him. I want him to be
- 58:06Speaker 8: a fighter and get upset and defend himself. He won't.
- 58:10Speaker 8: I love him for being a gentleman, but there's a
- 58:12Speaker 8: fine line between being nice and being soft. He never
- 58:15Speaker 8: tries to change how I am as a person. So
- 58:18Speaker 8: am I wrong for wanting him to change? Is this
- 58:22Speaker 8: a good thing or not? Why say this? Yes, you
- 58:25Speaker 8: are wrong for trying to change him. Either you accept
- 58:29Speaker 8: him how he is or you don't. I mean he's
- 58:32Speaker 8: not like you. He handles things away. He handles them period.
- 58:36Speaker 8: Everyone is not going to curse people out get into
- 58:38Speaker 8: a fight about what they think is not worth fighting over.
- 58:42Speaker 8: He picks his battles. That's smart. Now, having said that,
- 58:45Speaker 8: I got to say that a woman does want to
- 58:48Speaker 8: feel safe, she wants to feel protected with the man.
- 58:51Speaker 8: But in this letter you didn't say you didn't feel
- 58:54Speaker 8: secure with him. You just said you wanted him to
- 58:57Speaker 8: fight and defend himself. But you know there has been
- 59:00Speaker 8: no occasion for that. You just talked about your packages
- 59:04Speaker 8: that got wet and bad drivers that cut you off
- 59:07Speaker 8: and you curse them out. You want him to get
- 59:10Speaker 8: out of character and be more like you, but you
- 59:12Speaker 8: don't talk about his good character traits. I mean, what
- 59:15Speaker 8: about his self control? He hasn't lost his temper in
- 59:18Speaker 8: front of you. He treats you well. A man you
- 59:21Speaker 8: said was the most pleasant man in the world. You said,
- 59:24Speaker 8: he's a gentleman. What's wrong with that? You think he's
- 59:27Speaker 8: too soft, don't you? And you're waiting for him to explode.
- 59:31Speaker 8: And when he explodes or if then what I mean?
- 59:34Speaker 8: I think the test for you will be if you're
- 59:36Speaker 8: in some sort of dangerous situation and he comes through
- 59:39Speaker 8: like Superman or something, but you don't like him like
- 59:42Speaker 8: he is. If you don't like that, move on, get
- 59:45Speaker 8: a gangster or something.
- 59:46Speaker 5: Steve, I think this lady has missed the point in
- 59:51Speaker 5: this letter, completely missed the point, because you're looking at
- 59:57Speaker 5: what you don't have, and you fell in to realize
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: what you do have.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: It's a perfect example.
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: I'm dating the most pleasant man in the world, and
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: I'm just waiting for him to explode one day.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Why why, what is that?
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: What is that crazy request for? You're dating the most
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: gentleman in the world, that's who you're married to. That's crazy.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Why would you want any exploding man? It don't make
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: no sense.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Lady.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: We can be driving along somebody cut me off. My
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: reaction is to cuss out the other driver. But my
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: man smiles and says, maybe the other drivers having a
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: bad day. Do you know what happens in roads? Rage
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: incidents all over this country. Somebody jumps out and that's
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: his last day on earth.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Some food shoots.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: A man pulls up next to the window because he
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: was cussing these people crazy. Today your man realizes that
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: that's not a good use of energy cussing the man
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: out next door you he already been cut off.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You're not finna pull up next to him and teach
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: him a lesson.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: No, you mess around, pull up there, and your man
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: gone because he done shot into the passenger side, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: your man gone because you want to run your mouth.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: I'm a little bit confused with your letter, lady. I
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: got packages the other day was pouring down rain, and
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: he got left in the rain instead of under the porch.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I was so mad.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: The next day I went off on the delivery man
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: when he came back. Who know to put your packages
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: under the porch. The delivery man can't predict the rain,
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: and when he puts your packages out there, it might
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: have been dry. Then it started raining. He didn't put
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: him under the porch. Who put the boxes under the porch?
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Who has instructions to put your boxes under the porch?
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: My man came to the door gently pulled me away
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: out of danger, I might add, spoke softly to the
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: guy and told him he's sure he's doing the best
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: he can at his job. You don't know what this
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: man going through today, You out there tripping about this.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: Packages got left in the ring. First of all, like
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: I'm telling you the man, it might have been dry
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: when he put the packages down, and who knows to
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: put it anyway, Your man saved your kid. He drives
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: me czy crazy that he don't get upset over anything.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Even when I'm in the not in the mood for sex.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: He cuddles with me and says there's always tomorrow, and
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: he falls asleep.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Well, some things ain't worth all.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Get over.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: Hello, I don't want to do it tonight. In the
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: back of this man, he could be saying, well, it
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: ain't all that, no way. So you see, you know
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: what I'm saying, a lot of things could be going
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: on here. Lady, You're married to a gentle man, and
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: you need to think because one day because Posey said
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: I don't want hand sex, and the hego it ain't
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: worth you nothing. See right there now, I can't do
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: anything to get him out of It's just an I'll
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: be back and I'll share with you what I think
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: the serus.
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: All right, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after today's
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: Strawberry Letters subject. He's going to explode one day. We'll
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:04:10Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: The subject is he is going to explode one day.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what the letter is about. This lady's married
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: to this really gentle man and she thinks he's going
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: to explode one day. Well, why would you want that?
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: It doesn't make any sense at all. So she don't
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: like the way he handles a lot of stuff because
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: he hands it in the general way. In a general way,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: you know, somebody cut her off on the road. She
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: cuts him out. Her reaction is, hey, just calm down.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Man might be having a bad day. He's probably saved
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: y'all life several times.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: You won't even know that.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: Then you got some packages the other day and the
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: delivery man left him in the rain. You went off
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: on him and cussed him out about that. You know
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: it might have been dry when a man dropped it.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: Now you ma because he didn't put them under the porch.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Who do that? Who do that?
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: And who has the same delivery man every single day.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: I don't know how Amazon works. I don't know if
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: you get a different driver or the same driver he
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: got a route. I don't know how it works. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: ain't like the mailman.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: But anyway, anybody got put your boxes under the porch.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: They put him on the dose step. But a dop
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: ball ringer can see if somebody steal your box. Anybody
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: can go up under that side porch. Your dope bail
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: camera don't show over there. You just ungrateful man came
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: by and told the driver, Hey man, it's gonna be
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: all right. I know he's probably having a bad day.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Pulled you away out of danger again, because you're always
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: up in some man face running your mouth. It drives
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: me crazy. He don't get over set on nothing, even
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: when I'm not in the mood for sex. He just
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: cuddles and says, as always, tomorrow falls asleep. Man, that's
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: a great guy. Cause I'm telling you right now, keep
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: telling me you don't want to do it?
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Keep on? What are you gonna?
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: I tell you what, I tell you what I bet somebody. Okay,
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: he just gone go to sleep. I can't do anything
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: to get him out of character. Why would you want
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: to do that?
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Lady? What do you want? Do you want this control, kind,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: caring man?
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You want to be married to a fool? Because they're
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: out there now.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: He don't get upset with trifling service at a restaurant,
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: even if his orders messed up.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Why get mad?
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: Do you know?
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: The worst person to get mad at is the person
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: that's bringing you some food. You should always talk kindly
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: to these people and get what you want, even at
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: the excuse me, I'm sorry I got the wrong order.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: I know you're probably busy back there, but I ordered
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: the sew and such such such. Oh yeah, but it's okay.
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: I know you, but just you know, when you get
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: a moment i'd like to eat it. It's cause you
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: come back and spit in your food. You know, had
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: a dropping stuff in your food in the back. That's
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: why he don't get upset because he got sense. Last
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: month he got overlooked for a promotion at work, and
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: he said he's gonna find another job because clearly is
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: not the right place for him. I want him to
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: be a fighter and get up and said, what are
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: you gonna do? Go on here and argue with these white.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: Folks one more time?
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: Get it, go on here and argue with the white folks. Man,
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: this dude just got it. Ain't get no promotion. He said, look,
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: I'm gonna give me another job. Obviously this is not
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: the place for me, well thought out. That's the gangster move.
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: The gangster move ain't to go in there and fight.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: How come I ain't get the promotion? Then they tell
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: you why you ain't get the promotion. Now you still
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: don't get the promotion. Now you gotta go in there
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: and sit and find out that he was better that
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: they thought he was better than him. No, what you
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: do is get another job, walk in and say, hey,
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: here's my two week notice. I didn't get the promotion.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: So I know that's not the right place for me.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: I've moved my talents elsewhere. That's the gangster move. But
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: you don't see that. No, you've been You've been dating
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: stupid people, going there and slap the boss.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Now here in jail. Now you got to your bail money.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: You speak.
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: I love him for being a gentleman, but there's a
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: fine line between nice and being soft. I don't see
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: this guy as soft at all. I think he's calculated
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: and smart, highly intelligent.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: That's what I think.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: He never tries to change how I am as a person.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: So am I wrong for wanting to change him? Is
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: this a good thing or that? Why would you want
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: to change him?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: What do you want?
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: Why would you want the opposite of who he is?
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: Do you know how many women have the opposite and
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: wish they had what you had? You're one of those
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: people where you don't realize what you have. You wanted
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: to go off and snap. Now, listen to me, he's
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: already saved you a few times. You're cussing people out
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: on the road. He keeps a situation cool because he
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: don't have a gun under his arm wrest to bust
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: a cap and so he does the intelligent thing let
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: it go instead of running into some food with roads rage.
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: Now you got bullets flying in your wonder he stopped
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: you from that. You're out there cussing out the delivery
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: man that didn't put your boxes under the porch. Your
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: package ain't that important. Now you're in here arguing with
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: this man. He got to go and gently pull you
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: away from the door. He stepped up in your place,
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: diffused his situation. So your next package don't come crushed
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: because you're talking to this man like he crazed. Lady,
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: you have completely missed the point of what you have
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: a lady, Yeah, listen, I got a partner you could
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: have married and none of this would be happening. TV
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: really would be down at the clinic in therapy right
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: now trying to figure out, Lord, why did I marry
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: this food?
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: I know some people, all right? Post your comments on

- 1:12:56Speaker 9: Who you like watching?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: All day? Runs? That boy the ball man?
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: That is anybody pressed with Victory? Women?

- 1:13:06Speaker 9: Anybody like Victor?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You know who I'm in press with? Harper is amazing
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: to watch.

- 1:13:15Speaker 5: You know if if Wimbley, if Wimbley stays healthy, who

- 1:13:49Speaker 5: So I hope he stays healthy.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: He is a giant.
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: All right, Sure, there you go, All right, Junior, thank you?
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: All right. Coming up at the top of the where
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: a man is offended because his girlfriend judged his living conditions.
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is from Gabe and Beth.
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: Gabe says, I was fresh off my divorce when I
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: met my girlfriend two months ago. We have been vibing
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: and having a great time together until the other night
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: when I got sick and she had to drive me home.
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: She saw that I am temporarily sleeping on an air
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: mattress until my furniture arrives. She was quick to judge me,
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: even after I reminded her that I just got divorced.
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: Is it best for me to be the bigger person
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: and move past this? Or should I tell her that
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: she handled me the wrong way? So it's interesting.
- 1:14:48Speaker 11: Come here, tell maumya, I'm mentioned though. I'll tell you
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: that right now. Are you going to get home with you?
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: Thanks?
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I don't know. Oh, I think she showed you who
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: she was. Yeah, and I think you should believe it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: And and then just proceed with caution from there, you know,
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: and because there'll be other signs, just don't rush into it,
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: Yeah, and after a divorce, you do have you if
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: you lose everything you got to.
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: But you know what, it wouldn't it wouldn't be bad
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: to say, hey, look that wasn't we were the other day.
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: Kind of bothered me. The way you reacted when you
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: saw I was living on living on the air mattress.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: I told you I just got a divorced. I may
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: know some furniture get repaired. I just thought it was
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: a little bit quick rush to judgment about me as
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: a person. You could say that and see what she says.
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: This would be a good time to find out.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: So yeah, I would say, okay.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: So you would say something. All right, all right, we
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: have time for another one. This is from Jill in
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: Santa Monica. Jill says, my daughter and I wear the
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: same size and clothes and shoes. I put a code
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: lock on my closet because she helps herself to sh
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: his clothes and purses and some of my things still
- 1:16:03Speaker 8: have the tags on them. My husband said they're just
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: material possessions, and he's right, But I worked hard for
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: everything in there. Why would he side with the twenty
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: three year old spoiled brat and not me, his wife
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: of twenty five years.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Wait a minute, lady, what your attitude shouldn't be with
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: this man?
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: Huh?
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: Your attitude shouldn't be with your husband. What you mad
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: at your husband.
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: About because he sided with the daughter who steals the
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: mom's clothes?
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: I mean you know who your daughter is the problem? Yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: now you want him to side with you. He just
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: tells me chills stuff. Y'all got a baby that goes
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: in there and raise your closet him saying he thinks
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: it don't bother him because it ain't his stuff. Your
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: problem should be focused on the daughter. Why don't you
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: get your daughter to understand, to respect the fact that
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: you've worked hard for all those nice things and they
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: still have tags on it.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Why don't you have this conversation with your daughter?
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: But I mean he understanding she wants her husband to,
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: you know, them, to present a united front. If her
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: husband's on the daughter's side, I mean she may not
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: get anywhere with the daughter.
- 1:17:17Speaker 15: That's This has nothing to do with the husband. It's
- 1:17:22Speaker 15: not his closet, it's not his clothes. He's not in
- 1:17:25Speaker 15: there taking anything. Why she need help raising her daughter?
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: Yeah, but she she's his kid too. She just wants
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: them to be together on this. Him not to take
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: the daughter's side.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: That's all. Surely the girl is twenty three years old, right, y'all.
- 1:17:41Speaker 11: Don't have it.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: You don't have enough sense to go in there and go, hey,
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: don't come in this closet no more. Take you some
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: I know this situation. I bet I know this situation.
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: I know you yo, stay out of that. I let
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: the film handled that. I'll stay out of it.
- 1:18:02Speaker 8: Okay, all right, she just I guess she wants some
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: support from her husband.
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: No, Marjori ain't never came in to me and said, Hi,
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: am I gonna get this girl to stay out of
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: my closet.
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: Tell her.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that is this is how I go. Right here,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: let me give you just a small example. Bring it
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: in here again. That's a great opening statement.
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: Yes, yeah, it's been cool. Yeah, okay, yeah, that's crazy.
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: What if it were your son, Steve, you would say
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: the same thing.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: Possible for me to have that problem. It's impossible for
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: me to have that problem.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: They already know.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: Don't mess with dad stuff. Yeah, all right, coming up,
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right

- 1:25:31Speaker 5: You know our closing remarks today is about something that's
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: special to a lot of men's hearts. I have a
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: celebration once a year with a group of fraternity brothers
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: from the greatest fraternity Omegasi five Fraternity Incorporated. We celebrate
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: and I'm sure the noops feel that way about theirs.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: The Alphas feel that way about theirs, the Sigmas feel
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: that way about theirs. Olders feel that way about theirs.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I'm sure they do.
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: But it's it's it's special when you're a part of
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: some organizations. I know there's a lot of people out
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: here now. I hear people denouncing the Divine Nine and
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: denouncing their fraternity. I never experienced that. I don't even
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: know what they're talking about. I never I never took
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: a vow or a ritual to an idle god. I
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: never bowed before anybody but my Lord and Savior. I've
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: never There's nothing in our writings that ask us to
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: pledge allegiance to a idle god or something like that.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: All that stuff right there, I don't even know what
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: they talking about. There's some people saying some stuff that
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: I'm just unaware of. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: It's not it'll make a sci fi period, it's just not.
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: And if you want to not be a part of something,
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: to just go ahead. What is all this going online
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: to a denounce it?
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: In all this here? Just go away.
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: You know you probably wasn't financial, no way, Just just
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: go away. You probably wou wasn't even participating.
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: Just go away.
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: Stop trying to make everybody think they're going to hell
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: because they're in the fact.
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: That's not true.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: That's just not true.
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: I just want to say that, man, I happen to
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: be a member of one, and and and every year
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: I'll get together with a group of men that we
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: have remained friends since the seventies. We all met in
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: the seventies. Most of us met in the same year
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: of seventy four. It's some that was there before, but
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: most of us met in seventy four. So this is
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: like fifty two years of friendship.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: And we all cues.
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: And we gather together. Man, And for me, it's quite
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: special because these are the only people from who knew
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: me before I was any of this. These are the
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: only people I can sit around and be naturally and
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: completely who I am. And I'm so grateful to God
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: for that gift. I don't have to pretend. I don't
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: have to fake, I don't have to front. I don't
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: have to sit here and talk a certain way, be
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: mindful of what's coming out of my mouth. No, man,
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: I can sit there and just be my natural black
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: self in all of it. And it's my new Christmas.
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: You know, Christmas used to be my favorite holiday, but
- 1:28:43Speaker 5: now it's for my grandkids. You know, Christmas is for them,
- 1:28:46Speaker 5: watching them, you know, sit around that tree, opening gifts
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: and stuff. And I sit there, man, smile and watch
- 1:28:54Speaker 5: them do all of this stuff. It's just a great thing,
- 1:28:56Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: But this.
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: Once a year, two week event that I throw in
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: my ranch, it's special, man, and it reminds me of
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: a bond of friendship that is so essential. You know,
- 1:29:15Speaker 5: there's this great organization. When you break down what the
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: interpretation of their letters mean, it means friendship is essential
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: to the soul. And I'm gonna tell you something I've learned.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: It is essential. You got to have a friend. You
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: can live in this world without your mother. I've done it.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: You can live in this world without your father, I've
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: done it. You can live in this world when your
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: big brother passes on. I'm doing that too. You can
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: live in this world with a lot of stuff. But
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you something you cannot live without. You
- 1:29:52Speaker 5: cannot live in this world without a friend. You have
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: to have a friend.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: You gotta get somebody on planet Earth that you can
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: tell it to, Somebody that'll staying with you. I don't
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: care what you done got yourself in. I don't care
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: what your circumstances, I don't care what the deal reveals.
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: Somebody who will stand with you in the clutch and say, hey, man,
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: I'm with you and non judgmental.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Man, what you do that for it?
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: Bruh, I'm just telling you I did it and why
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: I did it. I made a mistake. I just need
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: somebody there. And when you have a friend, you have
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: something special. And I have some friends, a large group
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: of them, and we've been friends in this special thing
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: for fifty two years. Fifty two years of friendship, man,
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: and we still gather, we still laugh now. During the year,
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: they see each other, oftentimes in Cleveland because a lot
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: of us from Ohio, a lot of they get together
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: for barbecues and stuff like different gatherings they have up
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: their district meetings. I only get to see them once
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: a year, and it's the best time of the year
- 1:31:02Speaker 5: for me. So let me tell you something, Man, if
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: you have friends somewhere, celebrate your friendships. Celebrate them because
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: they're rare, and the older you get, the more rare
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: they become, because you learn the true definition of friendship.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: They're not associates, they're friends. And so if you have that, man, celebrated,
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: enjoy your time with your friends if you can. I
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: want to send a shout out to the queues all
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: over the world. I want to send a shout out
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: to all the noops all over the world, all of
- 1:31:38Speaker 5: the Sigmas all over the world, all of the ourphas
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: all over the world, all the eye oldas all over
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: the world.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: Celebrate each other.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: Man, y'all got brotherhood, but we got friendship, slight difference.
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: Y'all have a great day today. Talk to God today.
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: He would absolutely love to hear from you. Y'all stay
- 1:31:55Speaker 5: in peace all right.
