Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: car and to stop instructing obstructing law enforcement, but she
- 0:07Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
- 0:10Speaker 1: her vehicle and she attempted to run an law enforcement
- 0:13Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
- 0:18Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Good Thursday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:29Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got one major
- 0:31Speaker 3: story for you. It deals with the events in Minnesota.
- 0:35Speaker 3: A woman who decided to use her car as a
- 0:37Speaker 3: weapon to run over ICE agents, the ICE agent shooting back,
- 0:42Speaker 3: and unfortunately she lost her life. So why is the
- 0:45Speaker 3: left weaponizing this and calling for more individuals to put
- 0:49Speaker 3: their lives at risk as well? We'll break it all
- 0:52Speaker 3: down for you, plus the facts of actually what happened.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:00Speaker 3: There is one major story that we are going to
- 1:03Speaker 3: deal with extensively. It deals with a woman who is
- 1:06Speaker 3: fatally shot in Minneapolis by ICE and she was shot
- 1:10Speaker 3: through the front of her windshield as she tried to
- 1:13Speaker 3: drive over an ICE agent. There are a lot of
- 1:18Speaker 3: lies online claiming that the ICE agent shut her through
- 1:22Speaker 3: the passenger window. That did not happen. As the car wrecked,
- 1:27Speaker 3: you can clearly see a bullet through the front window.
- 1:31Speaker 3: That bullet hole is extremely important when it comes to
- 1:35Speaker 3: evidence because it shows that that car was driving directly
- 1:39Speaker 3: towards the ICE agent when he had no other choice
- 1:43Speaker 3: but to shoot to protect and save his own life
- 1:46Speaker 3: and others around him. This was preventable. It is also
- 1:51Speaker 3: tragic when someone loses their life, But what also is
- 1:55Speaker 3: preventable is the anarchy that is being advocated by the left.
- 2:01Speaker 3: To be clear, this woman and others had an essence
- 2:05Speaker 3: joined together to follow, to stalk, and to stop ICE
- 2:09Speaker 3: agents from doing their job. If I don't want to
- 2:14Speaker 3: pay my taxes, it doesn't mean that I can drive
- 2:17Speaker 3: my car into well the IRS building. If I think
- 2:23Speaker 3: my tax rate is too high, it doesn't mean that
- 2:25Speaker 3: I can just go after IRS agents. You go to
- 2:29Speaker 3: your members of Congress, you plead your case, you vote
- 2:34Speaker 3: on election day, you get involved and pick people that
- 2:37Speaker 3: you believe are going to side with you. But what
- 2:40Speaker 3: the Left has done is they have told their followers
- 2:43Speaker 3: that they can go out and just do whatever they
- 2:45Speaker 3: want to do without any accountability, Which brings me back
- 2:50Speaker 3: to what I said. This was a preventable death, a
- 2:54Speaker 3: death that was inspired by the anarchists on the left
- 2:58Speaker 3: who are advocating for pace to literally be vigilantes, and
- 3:02Speaker 3: when you do this, it can cost people their lives.
- 3:06Speaker 3: What's also really sick about this woman losing her life
- 3:10Speaker 3: is the fact that the left is actually excited over it.
- 3:15Speaker 3: They wanted something like this to happen so that they
- 3:18Speaker 3: could then use it to attack Donald Trump and ICE agents.
- 3:22Speaker 3: They were looking for a flash point, whereas Democrats have said,
- 3:26Speaker 3: you never let a crisis go to waste, which brings
- 3:30Speaker 3: me to Christino. Christy know, the woman in charge the
- 3:35Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security was in Minneapolis and she had
- 3:40Speaker 3: very clear message for the men and women in uniform
- 3:43Speaker 3: and actually the facts around this case. I want to
- 3:46Speaker 3: play that for you in a moment, but before I
- 3:48Speaker 3: even do that, I want you to also hear what
- 3:50Speaker 3: Jadie Vance said. He put out a tweet a couple
- 3:53Speaker 3: hours ago saying, quote, I want every ICE officer to
- 3:57Speaker 3: know that their president Vice present, and the entire administration
- 4:02Speaker 3: stands behind them. To the radicals assaulting them, doxing them,
- 4:08Speaker 3: and threatening them, Congratulations, We're going to work even harder
- 4:13Speaker 3: to enforce the law. Secretary Nome detailing the self defense
- 4:17Speaker 3: shooting in Minneapolis, and here is what she had to say.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Any loss of life is a tragedy, and I think
- 4:24Speaker 1: all of us can agree that in this situation, it
- 4:27Speaker 1: was preventable. I've spoken to the President today on the
- 4:30Speaker 1: situation here on the ground. I also just got off
- 4:32Speaker 1: the phone a little while ago with Governor Walls and spoke.
- 4:35Speaker 4: To him as well.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I want to reiterate first with all of you.
- 4:38Speaker 4: The facts of what happened today.
- 4:40Speaker 1: At ten twenty five am Central time, Immigration and Customs
- 4:44Speaker 1: enforcement were carrying out lawful operations here in Minneapolis because
- 4:48Speaker 1: of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow.
- 4:51Speaker 1: One of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle, and
- 4:58Speaker 1: when a mob of agitation that were harassing them all
- 5:01Speaker 1: day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding
- 5:05Speaker 1: law enforcement operations, ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle
- 5:10Speaker 1: of the individual in question, who was blocking the officers
- 5:13Speaker 1: in with her vehicle, and she had been stalking and impeding.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Their work all throughout the day.
- 5:18Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
- 5:21Speaker 1: car and to stop instructing obstructing law enforcement, but she
- 5:25Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
- 5:29Speaker 1: her vehicle, and she attempted to run an law enforcement
- 5:32Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
- 5:37Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic
- 5:40Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. The ICE officer, fearing for his life and
- 5:44Speaker 1: the other officers around him and the safety of the public,
- 5:48Speaker 1: fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his
- 5:51Speaker 1: own life and that of his colleagues. He was treated
- 5:54Speaker 1: at a local hospital, has been released and is now
- 5:56Speaker 1: with family. I encourage the American people at this point
- 6:00Speaker 1: time to pray for him, but also to pray for
- 6:02Speaker 1: the deceased family and her loved ones. Today alone in
- 6:07Speaker 1: this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks
- 6:10Speaker 1: on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles. Three of
- 6:14Speaker 1: them happened here in Minneapolis. We've seen over one hundred
- 6:18Speaker 1: of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: this must stop. ICE alone is facing a thirteen hundred
- 6:25Speaker 1: percent increase in assaults against them and an eight thousand
- 6:29Speaker 1: percent increase.
- 6:30Speaker 4: In death threats against all of them.
- 6:32Speaker 1: In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today
- 6:35Speaker 1: had previously been dragged by an anti ICE rioder who
- 6:39Speaker 1: had rammed him with a car and drug him back
- 6:42Speaker 1: in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And let me remind you why we're all here in
- 6:48Speaker 1: the city today and why we've been here in communities
- 6:51Speaker 1: across this country and here in Minneapolis. We're just enforcing
- 6:55Speaker 1: the laws that we have in this country. For years,
- 6:57Speaker 1: under President Biden, tens of millions of dangerous criminal illegal aliens, terrorists,
- 7:03Speaker 1: and suspected terrorists were allowed to invade our country over
- 7:06Speaker 1: our southern border. They were allowed to steal, to defraud,
- 7:10Speaker 1: and to perpetuate violence against American citizens. Regardless of who
- 7:14Speaker 1: your mayor or who your governor is. President Trump promised
- 7:18Speaker 1: every single American that he would make America safe again.
- 7:22Speaker 1: He promised every single American that he would work to
- 7:25Speaker 1: protect them from dangerous criminals. Since Governor Walls has been
- 7:29Speaker 1: in charge of Minnesota, we have seen homicides go up
- 7:32Speaker 1: by over fifty percent. That's also during Mayor Fries's tenure
- 7:36Speaker 1: as well.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Since President Trump.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Took office, Governor Walls has released over four hundred and
- 7:42Speaker 1: seventy violent criminals back onto the streets here in Minneapolis.
- 7:46Speaker 1: He has another six hundred and eighty of them still
- 7:49Speaker 1: within his jurisdiction that he could give to us today
- 7:52Speaker 1: to face the consequences for their crimes. Because Governor Walls
- 7:56Speaker 1: and Mayor Fry refused to protect Minnesotan's and its, it's dead,
- 8:00Speaker 1: they protect these criminals. That's why we are here. And
- 8:03Speaker 1: we didn't just show up yesterday. We've always been here.
- 8:06Speaker 1: But we're surging operations because of the dangerous situation we
- 8:09Speaker 1: see in this country and because we're no longer going
- 8:12Speaker 1: to allow illegal criminals to damage and harm, to kill,
- 8:17Speaker 1: to sexually abuse, to proliferate drugs, and to steal American
- 8:21Speaker 1: taxpayers dollars.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Let me just stop there for a moment. You listen
- 8:26Speaker 3: to what happened in this situation. The woman is ordered
- 8:31Speaker 3: out of her car, she refuses. She then uses that
- 8:36Speaker 3: car and backs it up. She then drives forward literally
- 8:41Speaker 3: into an ICE agent. The ICE agent pulls out, is
- 8:45Speaker 3: gone only when she starts moving towards his body, into
- 8:51Speaker 3: his body. This is self defense. That should be a
- 8:58Speaker 3: simple case close. But you have these radicals on the
- 9:03Speaker 3: left who are sitting there and they are saying that
- 9:06Speaker 3: somehow this was not a justifiable shooting. She proceeded to
- 9:12Speaker 3: weaponize her car. I want to go back to that
- 9:15Speaker 3: with Christy.
- 9:15Speaker 1: No.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Listen again carefully.
- 9:19Speaker 1: At ten twenty five am Central time, Immigration and Customs
- 9:22Speaker 1: enforcement were carrying out lawful operations here in Minneapolis because
- 9:27Speaker 1: of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow.
- 9:29Speaker 1: One of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle, and
- 9:36Speaker 1: when a mob of agitators that were harassing them all
- 9:40Speaker 1: day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Law enforcement operations.
- 9:45Speaker 1: ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle of the individual
- 9:49Speaker 1: in question who was blocking the officers in with her vehicle,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and she had been stalking and impeding.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Their work all throughout the day.
- 9:57Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
- 9:59Speaker 1: ca and to stop in obstructing law enforcement, but she
- 10:04Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
- 10:07Speaker 1: her vehicle and she attempted to run an law enforcement
- 10:10Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
- 10:15Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic
- 10:19Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. The ice officer, fearing for his life and
- 10:23Speaker 1: the other officers around him and the safety of the public,
- 10:26Speaker 1: fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his
- 10:29Speaker 1: own life and that of his colleagues. He was treated
- 10:32Speaker 1: at a local hospital, has been released and is now
- 10:34Speaker 1: with family. I encourage the American people at this point
- 10:38Speaker 1: in time to pray for him, but also to pray
- 10:40Speaker 1: for the deceased family and her loved ones.
- 10:43Speaker 3: That is compassion by the Department Point Security telling compassionately
- 10:52Speaker 3: pray for this woman. Apparently the wife of this woman
- 10:57Speaker 3: was outside the car and filming her while she was
- 11:00Speaker 3: actively blocking Ice vehicles. Apparently, after the shooting, it's being reported,
- 11:05Speaker 3: she ran back to check on renee. She tells a
- 11:09Speaker 3: near my man, that's my wife. When asked if she
- 11:11Speaker 3: can call family, she says, we're new here. I don't
- 11:13Speaker 3: have people. I can't even breathe right now it is
- 11:17Speaker 3: incredibly sad to see that the left has decided to
- 11:21Speaker 3: weaponize their own followers and put them in harm's way.
- 11:29Speaker 3: But this was a domestic tear attack in Minneapolis against
- 11:32Speaker 3: ICE agents. Hundreds of ICE agents have been rammed by cars,
- 11:38Speaker 3: which are deadly weapons. Where do you think they learn
- 11:42Speaker 3: to do this to impede to stop law enforcement, who,
- 11:46Speaker 3: by the way, are just doing their jobs. Sinator Mullen
- 11:52Speaker 3: put it this way, saying, quote, ICE agents aren't Disney villains.
- 11:56Speaker 3: There are neighbors, friends and loved ones. These immigration and
- 11:59Speaker 3: customs enforcement officers are red blood American patriots doing a
- 12:03Speaker 3: tough job to keep our nation safe. Assaults against ICE
- 12:07Speaker 3: agents because of the Democratic Party, because of the left
- 12:10Speaker 3: roup one three hundred percent. He then said, I stand
- 12:13Speaker 3: with DHS Congress Sandy Barr. ICE agents are enforcing America's
- 12:18Speaker 3: laws and delivering exactly what the people voted for. Secure
- 12:24Speaker 3: border and the deportations of dangerous illegal criminals. Targeting ICE
- 12:29Speaker 3: agents will never end well for anyone who tries Homeland security.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Putting it out this way, saying this today, ICE officers
- 12:37Speaker 3: in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when riders began blocking
- 12:43Speaker 3: Ice officers. In one of these violent rioters weaponized their vehicle,
- 12:47Speaker 3: attempting to run over law enforcement officers and attempt to
- 12:50Speaker 3: kill them an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer,
- 12:54Speaker 3: fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law
- 12:56Speaker 3: enforcement and safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He
- 13:01Speaker 3: uses training and saved his own life and that of
- 13:03Speaker 3: his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and his deceased.
- 13:08Speaker 3: The Ice officers who were heart or expected to make
- 13:10Speaker 3: full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks
- 13:17Speaker 3: and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel
- 13:23Speaker 3: and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are
- 13:27Speaker 3: facing this one three hundred percent increase in assaults against
- 13:30Speaker 3: them and an eight thousand percent increase in death threats.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I couldn't agree more. I could not agree more with
- 13:41Speaker 3: the law enforcement Department of Home Insecurities saying we are
- 13:46Speaker 3: just enforcing the law. We're doing our job. Why was
- 13:50Speaker 3: this woman in a situation where she thought she could
- 13:53Speaker 3: do this. It's very simple. She didn't want to be
- 13:57Speaker 3: held accountable for blocking the Department of Homeland Security and
- 14:02Speaker 3: ICE agents, and she decided she decided to go after
- 14:08Speaker 3: and use her car as a deadly weapon. The driver
- 14:12Speaker 3: refused to get out, accelerated towards the agent directly in
- 14:16Speaker 3: front of the car. He fired rounds, killing her. And
- 14:18Speaker 3: the leftists are then promising violent retribution towards ICE agents,
- 14:23Speaker 3: wanting to kill more ICE agents. By the way, they've
- 14:26Speaker 3: already shot ICE agents. I'll give you an example of
- 14:31Speaker 3: what the left's putting online. One person on x wrote,
- 14:34Speaker 3: all ICE agents must be put down like the dogs
- 14:36Speaker 3: they are. This is the Democratic Party, this is the
- 14:41Speaker 3: party of violence. Look no further than how they reply
- 14:46Speaker 3: online to this. Let me say one final thing, God
- 14:52Speaker 3: bless are men and women who are willing to go
- 14:55Speaker 3: do these jobs. They are getting more and more dangerous.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It's the governor of that state. He called the ICE
- 15:02Speaker 3: agents months ago the Gestapo. This is exactly why stuff
- 15:08Speaker 3: happens like this. This woman and around the country, we've
- 15:12Speaker 3: seen hundreds of ramming of ICE agents this year. In
- 15:18Speaker 3: the last month, we've seen more than one hundred ramming
- 15:20Speaker 3: with cars of ICE agents. It results in her life
- 15:24Speaker 3: being lost because of the Left who is inspiring her
- 15:29Speaker 3: to go do this and trying to make her believe
- 15:31Speaker 3: that somehow this is acceptable. What's also shocking is the
- 15:37Speaker 3: mayor there, the mayor saying disgusting things about our men
- 15:42Speaker 3: and women in uniform after this happened, the mayor saying this,
- 15:47Speaker 3: and I want you to listen carefully to the words
- 15:50Speaker 3: that he decided to use.
- 15:52Speaker 5: There's little I can say again that'll make this situation better.
- 15:56Speaker 5: But I do have a message for our community, for
- 15:59Speaker 5: us city, and I have a message for ICE to
- 16:05Speaker 5: ICE get the out of Minneapolis.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That is the Democratic mayor Jacob Fries's message to our
- 16:13Speaker 3: brave ICE agents in Minneapolis who are getting the worst
- 16:15Speaker 3: criminals off of his streets. And this deranged lunatic of
- 16:20Speaker 3: a mayor who is inspiring other lunatics to try to
- 16:24Speaker 3: murder those ICE agents, he says, get the f out
- 16:29Speaker 3: of Minneapolis. The Democratic Party's violent rhetoric is what is
- 16:33Speaker 3: fueling these attacks on ICE agents. And they do not
- 16:37Speaker 3: care about this woman, because if they did care about
- 16:42Speaker 3: this woman, they wouldn't be telling her to go out
- 16:45Speaker 3: and to do this. Period. And by the way, if
- 16:49Speaker 3: you think that the mayor of Minneapolis is going to
- 16:53Speaker 3: come to his senses and ratchet this down, this rhetoric
- 16:58Speaker 3: which is calling for the attacks on ICE agents. I
- 17:01Speaker 3: want you to listen to the second part of what
- 17:03Speaker 3: he had to say carefully.
- 17:04Speaker 6: People are being hurt, Families are being ripped apart. Long
- 17:09Speaker 6: term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city,
- 17:14Speaker 6: to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized. And
- 17:17Speaker 6: now somebody is dead. That's on you, and it's also
- 17:24Speaker 6: on you to leave.
- 17:25Speaker 3: It's on you, and it's on you to leave. It's
- 17:28Speaker 3: amazing how they care so much about the life of
- 17:31Speaker 3: this woman who tried to run over an ICE agent,
- 17:36Speaker 3: but they don't care the lives about the lives of
- 17:38Speaker 3: those in Minneapolis who have been murdered by the same
- 17:42Speaker 3: exact criminals, or raped or beaten or stolen from They
- 17:48Speaker 3: do not care about those people's lives. They don't care
- 17:56Speaker 3: about the countless people in Minneapolis that have been murdered
- 17:59Speaker 3: by illegal immigrants. And there have been countless. There have
- 18:03Speaker 3: been people that have been killed by illegal immigrants who
- 18:07Speaker 3: were driving drunk or under the influence of drugs. There
- 18:10Speaker 3: are people that have died at the hands of illegal
- 18:12Speaker 3: immigrants because they sold them fake pills laced with fetanyl.
- 18:16Speaker 3: This is the reality of the situation. Scott Jennings, good
- 18:21Speaker 3: friend of mine over at CNN. He went on there
- 18:23Speaker 3: and he said it this way, and I couldn't agree
- 18:26Speaker 3: with him more.
- 18:27Speaker 7: What strikes me is, first of all, it's extremely sad
- 18:30Speaker 7: and unfortunate that someone died. I mean the political fighting
- 18:33Speaker 7: and disagreements aside. It's terrible. You don't want people to
- 18:37Speaker 7: die in law enforcement situations or otherwise. But it strikes
- 18:41Speaker 7: me that we are undergoing an epidemic of political vigilanteism
- 18:45Speaker 7: right now. Why are people showing up in vehicles in convoys,
- 18:51Speaker 7: not just in Minneapolis, but all over the country in
- 18:54Speaker 7: an effort to obstruct lawful federal law enforcement activities. This
- 18:59Speaker 7: is not any incident. We have had hundreds of car
- 19:02Speaker 7: rammings against ICE agents all over the country. According to DHS,
- 19:06Speaker 7: this lady in this car today, along with other vehicles,
- 19:09Speaker 7: had been tracking ICE agents around. Why are people believing
- 19:14Speaker 7: that they can drive their car into a federal law
- 19:17Speaker 7: enforcement situation and that is an appropriate thing to do.
- 19:20Speaker 7: I understand they don't like the fact that these agents
- 19:23Speaker 7: are enforcing existing immigration law, but that's not how we
- 19:26Speaker 7: change laws in this country. If you don't like a law,
- 19:29Speaker 7: you talk to the politicians. You don't drive your car
- 19:32Speaker 7: into the middle of a building or a law enforcement
- 19:34Speaker 7: situation that's being occupied by the people who are simply
- 19:37Speaker 7: there to enforce the law. If I don't like how
- 19:39Speaker 7: much the IRS is charging me in taxes, I don't
- 19:42Speaker 7: drive my car into the Treasury Department try to run
- 19:44Speaker 7: somebody over. I call my congressman. Political vigilanteism is being
- 19:49Speaker 7: encouraged by Democratic officials like the Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota,
- 19:53Speaker 7: Peggy Flanagan, who earlier this year told people to quote
- 19:56Speaker 7: put your bodies on the line, and Tim Wall's calling
- 20:00Speaker 7: these guys gestapo all year. What do you think happens
- 20:03Speaker 7: when you radicalize a base of people. It doesn't.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I couldn't agree with him more.
