- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Joy? Have you got that? You? You love you?
- 1:10Speaker 5: You turn?
- 1:40Speaker 1: You have to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn the mouth the mouth, turn
- 1:46Speaker 4: a wad of the money.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Job looking me? Come come out, you think, Uh.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening
- 2:05Speaker 6: to the voice, come on dig me now. One and
- 2:07Speaker 6: only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man one more time.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I do, man,
- 2:16Speaker 6: I thank God for it every day. You know, my
- 2:20Speaker 6: message this morning, man, is real clear. It's something that's
- 2:23Speaker 6: been on me to share, and it's it's amazing. You know,
- 2:32Speaker 6: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:37Speaker 6: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:41Speaker 6: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:45Speaker 6: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:49Speaker 6: along with it. Every single time, it just goes without saying.
- 2:59Speaker 6: And I'll uh, I was having a a faily, I mean,
- 3:04Speaker 6: well not faily, but a hugely successful week I had
- 3:08Speaker 6: never seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it.
- 3:15Speaker 6: And it's it's a great trick that the devil does.
- 3:18Speaker 6: You know, when when God is blessing you and giving
- 3:21Speaker 6: you some some some great opportunities in your life, as
- 3:24Speaker 6: all of you have gone through, and it is. Isn't
- 3:27Speaker 6: it amazing how some negative thing crops up and that's
- 3:31Speaker 6: what you have to focus on. I found out that
- 3:34Speaker 6: I don't have to, but you wind up focusing on it,
- 3:37Speaker 6: and your energy goes over to that to try to
- 3:41Speaker 6: deal with it, counteract. Wonder why it was happening. You
- 3:44Speaker 6: got to make phone calls, what was this about? Blah
- 3:46Speaker 6: blah blah blah blah, and and it and it, and
- 3:48Speaker 6: it throws you off the course you are on the
- 3:52Speaker 6: beginning of the week. I was so grateful. I was
- 3:56Speaker 6: so amazed. I was really thanking God for opportunity for
- 3:59Speaker 6: this brief moment. The enemy slides this little factor in
- 4:05Speaker 6: that it causes you and it requires your attention. You
- 4:09Speaker 6: have to pay it attention because you don't know what
- 4:10Speaker 6: you're going. Wow, man, let me see what this could
- 4:13Speaker 6: really be. How much dirt is this really that they're
- 4:17Speaker 6: trying to do? And so it requires your attention. But
- 4:20Speaker 6: in that attention, you lose your focus on really all
- 4:25Speaker 6: the blessings and the good thing that God does for you.
- 4:28Speaker 6: The enemy has an amazing trick that he does that.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And it was in my head.
- 4:34Speaker 6: I gotta tell y'all all week long, man, and I
- 4:37Speaker 6: was doing some amazing stuff. I was having such a
- 4:41Speaker 6: blessed week, man, in terms of press and pr and
- 4:44Speaker 6: where God was taking me. And then when I got back,
- 4:48Speaker 6: I was talking with my wife, and then I was
- 4:51Speaker 6: talking to a good friend of ours and they shared
- 4:56Speaker 6: something that really helped me out. And they said to me,
- 5:02Speaker 6: new level, new devil. You know it's it's it's something
- 5:07Speaker 6: really simple, but new level new devil. Every time you
- 5:12Speaker 6: go to another level, every time you go a little
- 5:17Speaker 6: bit higher, every time God has a blessing in store
- 5:21Speaker 6: for you, every time He moves you in position. Do
- 5:25Speaker 6: you understand that the enemy's job is to make you
- 5:28Speaker 6: not see the blessing, make you not be grateful for it,
- 5:32Speaker 6: lose your focus and focus on this that I just
- 5:35Speaker 6: threw in your way, this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery.
- 5:41Speaker 6: And man, I was, I was, I got you, I
- 5:43Speaker 6: just got to tell you, man, I mean, it was
- 5:45Speaker 6: so filled with hatred that I had to. I really
- 5:48Speaker 6: spend some time addressing it, and I got publicists on
- 5:52Speaker 6: the phone. I said, what's what's happening here?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Y'all? Not watching this? Y'all not what?
- 5:55Speaker 7: What was?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What was this attack?
- 5:57Speaker 5: You knew?
- 5:57Speaker 8: Do?
- 5:57Speaker 6: You didn't know these angles? What was Steve chill? New level,
- 6:04Speaker 6: new devil. If you get a promotion on your job,
- 6:07Speaker 6: guess what. Somebody ain't happy that you got the promotion.
- 6:12Speaker 6: So here come to Hay.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You don't even really know these people. You have no idea.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Every time you make a decision to make your relationship
- 6:22Speaker 6: with your spouse better, man, this is it. You know
- 6:26Speaker 6: what I'm gonna start doing. I'm gonna do this, man,
- 6:28Speaker 6: so me and my girl can go on and have this,
- 6:30Speaker 6: or me and my man can go on and have this.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Watch what happened every single time? Here comes the new level,
- 6:38Speaker 6: the new devil, the trick. You don't need to do that.
- 6:41Speaker 6: What you're doing that for hers? She don't appreciate it.
- 6:43Speaker 6: He ain't gona appreciate it. Look over here, man, look
- 6:46Speaker 6: at that right there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Ain't he not?
- 6:48Speaker 6: You know?
- 6:48Speaker 2: He missed?
- 6:49Speaker 6: He din't call you, and he said, it's gonna all
- 6:51Speaker 6: types of stuff. It just happens all the time. And
- 6:54Speaker 6: I was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 6: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 6: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 6: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:07Speaker 6: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 6: something good happens to me. You mean every time I
- 7:16Speaker 6: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:18Speaker 6: put me on the next level.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You mean to tell me that I got to go
- 7:22Speaker 2: through this right here? Are you for real? And then
- 7:27Speaker 2: my friend said, Jesus said to her, they did it
- 7:31Speaker 2: to me, and we just fell out laughing. They did
- 7:36Speaker 2: it to me. They did it to him. They did
- 7:40Speaker 2: it to him for him to go to the next level.
- 7:43Speaker 6: And you know, I was just I was just going
- 7:45Speaker 6: over the whole story about the crucifixion and everything that
- 7:49Speaker 6: had to be amazing man of all the hate he had, ended,
- 7:52Speaker 6: all the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately,
- 7:56Speaker 6: what we'll do is we'll nail him on a cross
- 7:59Speaker 6: and that'll be the end of him. And we'll put
- 8:03Speaker 6: him in this tune and we'll put this big stone
- 8:05Speaker 6: up there and that'll be the end of him. But
- 8:07Speaker 6: what they did not know was all you was doing
- 8:10Speaker 6: was setting the tone for the next level, because eventually
- 8:14Speaker 6: the stone got rolled away and he went and got
- 8:17Speaker 6: placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 6: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 6: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 6: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 6: and you put him in a tune, and you put
- 8:36Speaker 6: the big stone up in there, and the stone got
- 8:38Speaker 6: rolls got rolled away, and he went eventually to where
- 8:41Speaker 6: he was trying to get to. That story is in
- 8:46Speaker 6: place for all of us to remember that when we
- 8:50Speaker 6: are going through some things, could it be because we're
- 8:54Speaker 6: going to a place, you know, It could be just
- 8:57Speaker 6: a place in life. It could be just us a
- 9:00Speaker 6: different level in life. That's all it has to be.
- 9:03Speaker 6: But there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come
- 9:08Speaker 6: with it, and those are the moments we must expect,
- 9:12Speaker 6: expect and take them head on and still not lose
- 9:16Speaker 6: your focus or appreciation for what God has done for you.
- 9:19Speaker 6: So in light of all of that, I'm able to
- 9:21Speaker 6: say today that I thank my Heavenly Father, I really
- 9:24Speaker 6: do for all the blessing seeds to bestowed upon me
- 9:27Speaker 6: and all of the haters and all of the liars,
- 9:31Speaker 6: and all of the backstabers and all those people. When
- 9:35Speaker 6: you get through lyon, when you get through stabbing, when
- 9:40Speaker 6: you get through gossiping and doing what you do, I'm
- 9:45Speaker 6: still going to the next level. I'm still going.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You cannot stop what God has in store for you.
- 9:55Speaker 2: No one can stop that.
- 9:59Speaker 9: Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, we are here. It is morning time.

- 10:17Speaker 6: Boy.

- 14:09Speaker 11: Am I correct?

- 14:14Speaker 11: the last I guess about three close to four months now,
- 14:17Speaker 11: and we want to try and stop having to come
- 14:19Speaker 11: in and repossess it. Maybe we give you a chance
- 14:21Speaker 11: to uh bring your payment in, but we haven't had
- 14:24Speaker 11: a payment from you in about four months, sir.

- 14:31Speaker 15: know what's in the Yeah, I've been paying all the time.

- 15:30Speaker 11: But if I have to send a record out there
- 15:32Speaker 11: to you, I have your address on file as well.

- 16:58Speaker 8: and make sure I'm right.
- 16:59Speaker 11: And then I'm telling you you haven't paid anything. That's
- 17:03Speaker 11: what I'm telling you.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I've got it.

- 20:48Speaker 12: All right, guys, it is time now for ask the
- 20:50Speaker 12: CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey at your service. This
- 20:56Speaker 12: one is from Ashland and Tennessee. Ashland says, I've been
- 21:00Speaker 12: married for six years to a cheater and we have
- 21:02Speaker 12: not had sex.
- 21:03Speaker 5: In a year.
- 21:04Speaker 12: He confided in our next door neighbor, who happens to
- 21:07Speaker 12: be young and single. My neighbor saw my husband leave
- 21:10Speaker 12: one morning and he came over and lectured me, unsaving
- 21:14Speaker 12: my marriage. I got emotional and he came close to
- 21:17Speaker 12: comfort me, and I could feel him through his pants.
- 21:20Speaker 12: He said he would be happy to comfort me if
- 21:24Speaker 12: I ever needed it. It scared me half to death.
- 21:27Speaker 12: But how can I stop staring at his house? Should
- 21:30Speaker 12: I go next door and relieve a little stress with
- 21:32Speaker 12: this fine young man?
- 21:35Speaker 6: Well, look what didn't happened here? Well, ma'am, can I
- 21:41Speaker 6: have a real, honest and frank answer for this man,
- 21:44Speaker 6: tell Ashlan Ashlen, you've been married six years to a Cheatah,
- 21:52Speaker 6: Now did she.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Say she confided in the young man her husband, now
- 22:00Speaker 2: husband went over there and told his little dude what
- 22:04Speaker 2: he up to and what he doing.
- 22:06Speaker 6: Little dude then took this information like okay, like he'll
- 22:11Speaker 6: really care for your husband, know how Apparently so now
- 22:15Speaker 6: he just slid all over to comfort you up against you.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Now you're looking at the windy you can't take your
- 22:22Speaker 2: eyes off his house. Mm hmm.
- 22:25Speaker 6: But it ain't really the house though. It's one of
- 22:32Speaker 6: the tenants, and it's the tenant that stayed on the
- 22:39Speaker 6: neighbor that's got you the most concerned. Look, if you
- 22:49Speaker 6: went over there to get some comfort, m you would
- 22:54Speaker 6: be wrong for doing that, because that he is wrong,
- 22:58Speaker 6: and two wrongs don't make a right. But with that said,
- 23:06Speaker 6: if the situation were the other way around, I promise
- 23:11Speaker 6: you your cheating husband would be over there getting comforted
- 23:16Speaker 6: like he is anyway somewhere. So now, if you went
- 23:22Speaker 6: over there for some comfort, uh huh, come on now,
- 23:25Speaker 6: bring it home. Ain't nobody got to know?
- 23:29Speaker 9: Yeah, we got urging her.
- 23:34Speaker 2: This is just a fact, all right. We got to
- 23:38Speaker 2: move on. Tommy kay, she said over there staying at
- 23:44Speaker 2: that damn do the best.
- 23:46Speaker 12: We're moving on Mackay and County said his gutters. My
- 23:51Speaker 12: boyfriend and I date it for a long time, but
- 23:54Speaker 12: we broke up and we'll never get back together. So
- 23:58Speaker 12: I went out with his friend and we clicked. My
- 24:01Speaker 12: ex boyfriend found out and he's having a hard time
- 24:03Speaker 12: dealing with it. He's tried to jump on his friend
- 24:05Speaker 12: and he's been calling me all kinds of names. We're
- 24:08Speaker 12: all single, and I can date whoever I want. I
- 24:11Speaker 12: wouldn't have a problem if he dated a friend of mine.
- 24:13Speaker 12: I don't want him anymore. Why is he tripping?
- 24:16Speaker 8: Oh?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Why is he tripping? Because the two things.
- 24:23Speaker 6: One, he tripping with his boy because you're supposed to
- 24:28Speaker 6: be my boy, but which proves they ain't really as
- 24:33Speaker 6: close or the boy he thought he was. Secondly, he
- 24:37Speaker 6: tripping with you because how could you because you knew
- 24:41Speaker 6: this is supposed to be my boy. So what I
- 24:45Speaker 6: think is I thank your little boyfriend being delusional for
- 24:48Speaker 6: quite some time, he thinked his boy is his boy,
- 24:53Speaker 6: that really ain't his boy, and he still thank you
- 24:56Speaker 6: his woman.
- 24:58Speaker 1: She said, they want ever get back together.
- 25:02Speaker 6: Your ex boyfriend is living a life with a lot
- 25:05Speaker 6: of delusion because he thought his boy was really his boy,
- 25:10Speaker 6: but he ain't his boy, and he thinks you still
- 25:13Speaker 6: his woman. So now he didn't try to jump on
- 25:16Speaker 6: the boy, and now he mad at you. But now
- 25:20Speaker 6: you lied talking about didn't lie. You told you wouldn't
- 25:24Speaker 6: be mad if he dated one of your girlfriends.
- 25:26Speaker 2: That's a damn lie. And you and I and everybody
- 25:31Speaker 2: listening know that's a lot.
- 25:34Speaker 9: Well, maybe that's what her ex should do.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well, you know, don't nobody want him.
- 25:41Speaker 9: She said they're never getting back together. She does not
- 25:45Speaker 9: want him anymore anymore. All right, Edna, We're moving on. Edna,
- 25:50Speaker 9: and Kentucky says.

- 26:06Speaker 12: picked up an older black mail from an upscale neighborhood,
- 26:09Speaker 12: and he said he had to pick a friend up.
- 26:11Speaker 12: I want to pick up a beautiful, younger black woman.
- 26:14Speaker 12: They started to kiss and undress in the back of
- 26:16Speaker 12: my suv. He instructed me to get in the interstate
- 26:21Speaker 12: and ride until they finished their business on the back seat.
- 26:24Speaker 12: He paid me three hundred dollars cash for the ride,
- 26:27Speaker 12: and I asked and asked if I would like to
- 26:30Speaker 12: be his personal driver?
- 26:31Speaker 1: Is this too risky or should I do it?
- 26:33Speaker 6: What makes you mobile to become his personal driver? What

- 42:37Speaker 6: That's met the carter and that daddy, Daddy, Daddy, why
- 42:42Speaker 6: are you choking at the carter?

- 42:53Speaker 12: mama sing it.
- 42:59Speaker 10: All right up next guys, Tommy's prank phone call.
- 43:03Speaker 12: Right after this, you're listening Hard Morning Show coming up
- 43:11Speaker 12: at the top of the hour.
- 43:12Speaker 9: Right about four minutes after.
- 43:14Speaker 12: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject she gave
- 43:16Speaker 12: me more than I bargained for.
- 43:20Speaker 9: Let me just say right off the dribble, this is
- 43:22Speaker 9: not what you think.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Okay, at all.
- 43:26Speaker 12: We'll get into that in just a bit, but right
- 43:28Speaker 12: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 43:31Speaker 9: What you got for his nev?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Well? A lot of people don't like to talk about it,
- 43:35Speaker 2: but I'm gonna bring it up.
- 43:36Speaker 11: Divorce paper, divorce WoT that?
- 43:44Speaker 2: Okay? Some people get served. It happens so many different ways.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Let's go catch down.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Hello.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Hello, Yeah, I am trying to reach a Jones. Please.
- 43:56Speaker 11: My name is Attorney Guidry from the US law firm.
- 44:00Speaker 2: She available. How you doing, man?
- 44:03Speaker 11: I'm actually trying to get some business rectified dealing with
- 44:06Speaker 11: your divorce that took place, I guess over the last
- 44:09Speaker 11: seven whole years.
- 44:10Speaker 2: My correct?
- 44:11Speaker 15: Correct?
- 44:11Speaker 11: I got some foul up with your paperwork here. Now,
- 44:14Speaker 11: you guys had some property that you owned together, I
- 44:17Speaker 11: believe in Avondale.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Am I correct?
- 44:19Speaker 15: Correct?
- 44:19Speaker 2: I'm looking at your paperwork here, miss Okay.
- 44:25Speaker 11: Now we're getting out to the property, and that seems
- 44:27Speaker 11: to be where the problem lies is. In Avondale, you
- 44:29Speaker 11: guys had some property and you sold it as you
- 44:32Speaker 11: both went and split your ways. Right, looking at the
- 44:36Speaker 11: paperwork that I have here, it seems like it was
- 44:39Speaker 11: filled out incorrectly. I don't know how seven years has
- 44:42Speaker 11: passed for this to come back and fall on my
- 44:45Speaker 11: desk to be to get rectified. But whatever the dividends
- 44:49Speaker 11: were that you guys took and shared that you're now
- 44:54Speaker 11: looking as if you're owing mister Jones and additional eighteen
- 44:58Speaker 11: thousand dollars what, ma'am, I don't know. I hate to
- 45:04Speaker 11: be the bearer of bad news, but I wanted to
- 45:06Speaker 11: bring this information to you and see how we can
- 45:09Speaker 11: get it rectified. I'm not looking for you to have
- 45:12Speaker 11: that much money available at today, but I do know
- 45:15Speaker 11: as a as an attorney for mister Jones, I must
- 45:18Speaker 11: say that we're trying to get it taken care of
- 45:20Speaker 11: as soon as possible.
- 45:21Speaker 14: Oh wait a minute, wait, laateis that this?
- 45:24Speaker 17: So?
- 45:25Speaker 14: How do I owe him eighteen.
- 45:27Speaker 8: Thous every what reason?
- 45:29Speaker 11: Well, the paperwork here, ma'am, seems to be what the
- 45:32Speaker 11: PaperWorks say. It wasn't supposed to be fifty percent, fifty
- 45:36Speaker 11: percent between you you all. It should have been seventy
- 45:38Speaker 11: five twenty five and he being seventy five percent of
- 45:41Speaker 11: the property owed to him and twenty five percent.
- 45:44Speaker 14: Oh no, I don't know how what you know, Louisa
- 45:47Speaker 14: as a community practice, and how could he get seventy
- 45:49Speaker 14: five percent and I get twenty five?
- 45:52Speaker 11: From my understanding that he paid most of the bills
- 45:54Speaker 11: when you guys were living together, and that don't.
- 45:57Speaker 14: Have anything to do with that. No, he didn't paid
- 45:59Speaker 14: most of the bill. I work and contribute to.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Right, and I understand that.
- 46:04Speaker 11: But I understand from what I have here on the paperwork,
- 46:06Speaker 11: and I understand that you had some contribution to it.
- 46:09Speaker 11: But it just seems like you did not contribute as
- 46:12Speaker 11: much as he did.
- 46:13Speaker 14: And yes, and did I never heard no right this.
- 46:17Speaker 11: I do apologize, man, But what I do need you
- 46:19Speaker 11: to do is is definitely not use that type of
- 46:21Speaker 11: language while I'm on the phone.
- 46:22Speaker 14: Okay, Well, look, I don't really have to talk to
- 46:24Speaker 14: you because I know I don't know. I don't owe
- 46:27Speaker 14: no Jones no eighteen thousand dollars, and he didn't overpay
- 46:31Speaker 14: me because it was community profit. I had two children
- 46:34Speaker 14: for him, I left with none year after, and there's
- 46:36Speaker 14: no weight I'm going to pay him no eighteen thousand dollars.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Man.
- 46:39Speaker 11: I hate to get a little abrupt with you, but
- 46:41Speaker 11: you are going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars now.
- 46:44Speaker 2: That's going to happen. Now.
- 46:46Speaker 11: If I have to garnish your check and do it,
- 46:48Speaker 11: then that's the way it will have to be done.
- 46:49Speaker 11: But the money will be coming to mister kirk Jones
- 46:52Speaker 11: in the sum of eighteen thousand.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Call it back. Yeah, Look, don't you hang up on
- 46:59Speaker 2: me again.
- 47:00Speaker 11: Now, if I have to put a lien on your
- 47:01Speaker 11: property or put a lien on your which one do
- 47:03Speaker 11: you want?
- 47:04Speaker 14: Look, and you want to talk to me, life sack,
- 47:07Speaker 14: I talk to you anyway. I want to to talk
- 47:09Speaker 14: about because once I want to court that all that
- 47:11Speaker 14: was over with.
- 47:12Speaker 11: You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars. That's what you're gonna do.
- 47:16Speaker 14: Uh huh.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Now, I don't want to have to come to your house,
- 47:19Speaker 2: ma'am to pick up this money, but I will.
- 47:21Speaker 14: I'm not working. I want to know how do I
- 47:24Speaker 14: have to pay him eighteen thousand?
- 47:26Speaker 11: See, you're not working. That's our problem from the start.
- 47:29Speaker 11: That's why it wasn't fifty to fifty. That's why it
- 47:31Speaker 11: was seventy five twenty five because you were not holding.
- 47:33Speaker 14: The I work all through the upstate that may twenty
- 47:36Speaker 14: six years and I worked.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Well, what is your butt doing now?
- 47:40Speaker 14: Nothing.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Well, there we go. That seems to be the root
- 47:43Speaker 2: of our problem, isn't it.
- 47:44Speaker 14: No, that ain't a ruin of no time, Because I
- 47:46Speaker 14: want to know how did Kirk could get eighteen percent
- 47:50Speaker 14: and read that as a community property. He had his
- 47:53Speaker 14: lawny and I had my life. He agreed to it,
- 47:55Speaker 14: and that was that. So I don't know how I
- 47:57Speaker 14: owe him eighteen thousand, ma'am.
- 48:00Speaker 2: That's the way the problem was.
- 48:01Speaker 11: Evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you signed when
- 48:04Speaker 11: you and Kirk separated seven years ago. Now, if you
- 48:07Speaker 11: didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why it comes
- 48:09Speaker 11: back to bite you, and.
- 48:10Speaker 14: You butt, oh, no, it's not. Because I had a
- 48:13Speaker 14: lawyer and he mad his lawyer. We agree with that.
- 48:17Speaker 14: That was back and far with and we agree with
- 48:19Speaker 14: everything he signed up it and that was done.
- 48:21Speaker 11: Well, maybe you didn't have a lawyer that was worth
- 48:23Speaker 11: for them who didn't read the bottom of the paperwork himself.
- 48:26Speaker 14: And I had aint lawyer and thought I had ain't
- 48:29Speaker 14: good lawyer.
- 48:30Speaker 2: And I understand that. Man, when that happens a lot
- 48:32Speaker 2: of a lot of times, I.
- 48:33Speaker 9: Can't believe that.
- 48:34Speaker 14: And I had two children struggle with him, and we
- 48:37Speaker 14: got what we got by both of us work and
- 48:40Speaker 14: this he gonna come back and and oh no, I'm
- 48:44Speaker 14: gonna fight this.
- 48:45Speaker 2: When can we expect the payment starting to work on
- 48:47Speaker 2: this eighteen thousand?
- 48:49Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 48:50Speaker 11: Well, I mean I'm gonna have to get a date
- 48:51Speaker 11: or something where I can start getting five hundred dollars
- 48:54Speaker 11: from you per.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Month or something like that.
- 48:56Speaker 14: Yes, indeed, five hundred a month. I haven't worked out
- 49:00Speaker 14: was working when you want to sit. I don't think
- 49:02Speaker 14: I should have to tell you all this because I
- 49:05Speaker 14: need to get talk to me a lawyer, because I'm
- 49:07Speaker 14: not agreeing to anything, because I don't think that it's
- 49:11Speaker 14: not fair. I tell you give me a dad, not
- 49:14Speaker 14: because I'm gonna have to get me a lawyer.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I'm trying to keep my composent as an attorney, ma'am.
- 49:20Speaker 8: How do you have the writ?
- 49:22Speaker 14: And I don't have no say?
- 49:23Speaker 11: So?
- 49:23Speaker 14: Over there?
- 49:24Speaker 2: Are you? Are you? Have you remarried? No?
- 49:26Speaker 14: I haven't.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Okay, you realize if I don't get the money, then
- 49:31Speaker 2: I don't get paid. Right Listen, I'm going.
- 49:34Speaker 11: To be down in your area probably on Wednesday. Do
- 49:38Speaker 11: you think you and I can get together and probably
- 49:40Speaker 11: talk about this because I want to help you as.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Much as I can.
- 49:43Speaker 14: Yes, because I don't think it's fair to me. When's
- 49:45Speaker 14: the wed I'm not I could be there.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Well, you think that maybe you and I can get
- 49:51Speaker 2: together maybe and work something out?
- 49:53Speaker 14: Yeah, because I know I'm not. I mean I cannot
- 49:55Speaker 14: afford to pic No. Eighteen hundred. You know took the
- 49:58Speaker 14: house for me for little nothing.
- 50:00Speaker 2: And I'll tell you what I tell you what I'll
- 50:03Speaker 2: do this. I won't.
- 50:04Speaker 11: I won't tell mister Jones anything but only on one condition,
- 50:07Speaker 11: that's me and you being able to work this thing
- 50:09Speaker 11: out behind closed doors.
- 50:11Speaker 14: What you mean work it out?
- 50:12Speaker 2: I may work it out?
- 50:14Speaker 14: What do you mean?
- 50:15Speaker 2: What do you think? I mean?
- 50:16Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Tell me, well, maybe you know, like I'm dumb, some
- 50:22Speaker 2: relations or something.
- 50:23Speaker 14: Why would you want a relationship with me?
- 50:25Speaker 2: Not really that relationship, but just you know, maybe kind.
- 50:29Speaker 8: Of kick it kick what way?
- 50:33Speaker 14: I'm dumb?
- 50:34Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 50:35Speaker 14: I don't know nothing about life.
- 50:37Speaker 2: I think you know a whole lot about life.
- 50:39Speaker 14: No dumb, But why is you messing with me?
- 50:42Speaker 11: I just want to see if we can maybe get together.
- 50:44Speaker 11: I'll throw all his paperwork out and I'm like, no,
- 50:46Speaker 11: it's not possible. But if you make me Wednesday and
- 50:51Speaker 11: I'll make.
- 50:51Speaker 2: This thing go away.
- 50:53Speaker 14: I don't believe that.
- 50:54Speaker 2: I tell you what else. You ain't gonna believe.
- 50:57Speaker 11: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 52:44Speaker 2: you here.
- 52:44Speaker 12: It is a Strawberry Letter subject she gave me more
- 52:48Speaker 12: than I bargained for. Dear Stephen Shirley, I need your
- 52:51Speaker 12: help on how to resolve a big mess with one
- 52:53Speaker 12: of my girlfriends. I have a nonprofit organization for homeless women,
- 52:59Speaker 12: and I provide clothing and toiletries.
- 53:01Speaker 9: For the ladies.
- 53:02Speaker 12: I've been using part of my living room to sort donations.
- 53:05Speaker 12: An old friend of mine recently lost weight and donated
- 53:08Speaker 12: her old clothes to my organization. I went by her
- 53:12Speaker 12: house to pick up the items, and I was happy
- 53:14Speaker 12: to see that she had two big black garbage bags
- 53:17Speaker 12: full of clothes. My trunk was already full, so she
- 53:21Speaker 12: put the two bags on my back seat as I
- 53:23Speaker 12: drove home, I noticed something flying around the car. I
- 53:27Speaker 12: pulled over to see what it was, and I was
- 53:30Speaker 12: grossed out when I saw it was a big brown
- 53:33Speaker 12: roach on my back seat. I didn't know how it
- 53:37Speaker 12: got in there, but I live in a humid city,
- 53:39Speaker 12: so it could have crawled in from the outside. I
- 53:43Speaker 12: went on home and put both bags in my living room,
- 53:46Speaker 12: and I opened the bags to peek inside, then got
- 53:49Speaker 12: distracted by the phone ringing. I went back into my
- 53:51Speaker 12: living room a few minutes later to find a roach
- 53:54Speaker 12: crawling on the windowsill and another roach crawling on the mirror.
- 54:01Speaker 12: I was so startled and grossed out, but I managed
- 54:03Speaker 12: to get a cell phone video of the bugs. I
- 54:06Speaker 12: called my husband at work and he came straight home.
- 54:09Speaker 12: He checked my car and found two small roaches in there.
- 54:13Speaker 12: He called an exterminator to come immediately.
- 54:16Speaker 3: To spray the house and my car.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Quiet you, guys.
- 54:20Speaker 12: I called my girlfriend and told her I threw her
- 54:23Speaker 12: clothes away because they were full of roaches. I asked
- 54:28Speaker 12: her to reimburse us for the exterminator, and she told
- 54:32Speaker 12: me to go to hell. I sent her the roach
- 54:35Speaker 12: video and she blocked my number. How can she act
- 54:39Speaker 12: like this?
- 54:39Speaker 9: Should we take her to court for the money?
- 54:42Speaker 10: Really to court?
- 54:43Speaker 12: Come on, now, I know you're mad and grossed out
- 54:46Speaker 12: and everything, and I definitely will be and would.
- 54:49Speaker 10: Be too because ew ew.
- 54:54Speaker 1: But uh stop.
- 54:55Speaker 12: Okay, she's like giving anything back, you will not be reimbursed.
- 55:02Speaker 10: You sound crazy and ungrateful to her. Why because people
- 55:07Speaker 10: with roaches always.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Always, always act like is no big deal.
- 55:13Speaker 10: They always act like that it's just a darn road.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:18Speaker 10: I can't, for the life of me understand this logic,
- 55:21Speaker 10: but it is what it is.
- 55:23Speaker 12: I think maybe they see roaches so much that maybe
- 55:27Speaker 12: they become immune to them, or you know, they're just
- 55:29Speaker 12: part of the furniture whatever.
- 55:31Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 55:32Speaker 12: So you're just going to have to take an l
- 55:34Speaker 12: on this one and go on with your life, okay,
- 55:38Speaker 12: And nothing is going to change. You're not going to
- 55:41Speaker 12: resolve this issue with her. Be glad you could afford
- 55:44Speaker 12: an exterminator so you wouldn't.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Have to deal with as many roaches as she's dealing.
- 55:48Speaker 9: With in her house.
- 55:49Speaker 12: Okay, like her, that's it. Nothing, Just move on, nothing's
- 55:53Speaker 12: going to happen. It's roaches in her opinion, in her mind.
- 55:58Speaker 6: Steve, should we take curve to court for the money,
- 56:05Speaker 6: girl stuff?
- 56:08Speaker 2: Do you know how much you got to go to court?
- 56:11Speaker 6: You're gonna have to take off work, You got to
- 56:14Speaker 6: miss days, You got to get some lawyers. How much
- 56:21Speaker 6: was the exterminator? The roaches just got there. They hadn't
- 56:28Speaker 6: even had chance to set up. Your husband had the
- 56:32Speaker 6: exterminator come that day. Now, let's just come to something.
- 56:37Speaker 6: You went over there, you picked up the clothes, your
- 56:43Speaker 6: damn self. You put him in the back seat. See
- 56:46Speaker 6: that what you get. See when you go picking up bags,
- 56:50Speaker 6: you need to open up and look inside. Yes, they
- 56:54Speaker 6: was in there because this bag were full of roaches.
- 56:58Speaker 2: You could believe this.
- 56:59Speaker 6: Now, they were full love roaches. They that got out
- 57:04Speaker 6: in the car, little ones too.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Lot was there.
- 57:07Speaker 6: They're making kids in this bank. Indeed, roaches been down
- 57:11Speaker 6: in that back That ain't no bag. That's that that
- 57:15Speaker 6: has like that. That's that's like a hotel. Now then
- 57:20Speaker 6: there there there making little roaches, big roaches. Now you're
- 57:25Speaker 6: in the car and you noticed something was flying around.
- 57:31Speaker 6: You say, you live in a human city, so it
- 57:33Speaker 6: could have flew from me in outside. Well, let me
- 57:36Speaker 6: ask you something was the windows down? Because then sound
- 57:39Speaker 6: like it.
- 57:42Speaker 8: It's not.
- 57:42Speaker 2: She had the air on, so you had air on.
- 57:45Speaker 6: So now you already know they ain't came in through
- 57:47Speaker 6: the window. I didn't know how I got in there,
- 57:51Speaker 6: so you are you could have crawled in from outside.
- 57:53Speaker 6: So you get home and you put both your bags
- 57:55Speaker 6: down in your living room and you open the bags
- 57:57Speaker 6: to peek inside.
- 57:58Speaker 2: This ain't time for peak. And you got to look.
- 58:04Speaker 2: When you see a roach peaking is over the roaches peaks.
- 58:09Speaker 6: You got to look see stompes peak. You got to
- 58:18Speaker 6: look see the stomp. You got to get these roaches
- 58:24Speaker 6: before they get to them walls. If one pregnant roach
- 58:32Speaker 6: get in that wall.
- 58:33Speaker 2: It's a good Lord of Mighty.
- 58:40Speaker 6: Yeah, you know where they came from, right, because when
- 58:45Speaker 6: you came back and got distracted by the phone call,
- 58:48Speaker 6: you came back to the bag and you found they
- 58:51Speaker 6: had started coming out the bag. They was on the
- 58:55Speaker 6: window and the window seal. You probably ain't see the
- 58:59Speaker 6: one that got up under the console.
- 59:02Speaker 10: Okay, hold that thought right there, Steve, we have you.
- 59:05Speaker 12: You ain't see that once coming up at twenty three
- 59:08Speaker 12: minutes after the hour, subject, she gave me more than.
- 59:11Speaker 2: I bargained for.
- 59:12Speaker 9: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 59:16Speaker 9: Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 59:18Speaker 12: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 59:21Speaker 10: Subject She gave me more than I bargained for.
- 59:25Speaker 6: This damn letter is about roaches. You know, had us
- 59:30Speaker 6: all full of hope with the title. She gave me
- 59:33Speaker 6: molding our bargain for house. That boy, what you're complaining for?
- 59:38Speaker 8: Right.
- 59:38Speaker 6: No, this lady got a girlfriend. She collect clothing for
- 59:43Speaker 6: homeless people. Her girl told her she got two big
- 59:46Speaker 6: bags over here. Now them bags been sitting there for
- 59:49Speaker 6: a while. You took him to he and fit in
- 59:51Speaker 6: your trunk. You put him in the back seat, put
- 59:54Speaker 6: him in the back seat, and you noticed on the
- 59:56Speaker 6: way home something was flying round.
- 59:58Speaker 2: In the car. That was a roach.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: You got out, You took the bags and put them
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: in the house. You decided to peek inside. Like I
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: said before, when we dealing with roaches, you got that
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: ain't no peaking when you're dealing with roaches. You got
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: this look see stump. That's how this worked. You got
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: to be lst You got to look see. So now
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: you get distracted, you come back. You peek in the
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: bag that's full of it's a garbage bag full of clothes.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: You notice that it was a roach had got out,
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: was crawling on the window seal, and another roach was
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: crawling on the mirror. They was they had been in
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: that bag for a while, so they was heading to
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: the light new lane. But now all roaches don't like like.
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: So a couple of them roaches got out. That band
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: got up under something. You got scared, called your husband.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: He came right home because I be down here. I
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: have been working my whole life trying to get out
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: of my prior conditions, and now I'm over here.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: What roach?
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Plus you panic, y'all call exterminator boom. But he went
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: outside in the car and he found two small roaches
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: in there. Now, let me explain something to you. Roaches
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: can survive in the car. They can breathe in the car.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: Everybody then wasted a French fry down their little seat
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: right between the console and the seat. That's huge everybody,
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: and had a little chlwn from a doughnut. One whole
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: french fry. Ken pretty much hold a hundred roaches. French
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: fry can feed a hundred roaches for I don't know
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: that for a fact, but it just steve like they
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: can hang in there.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: So now you called your girlfriend and you told her
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: that you threw her clothes away because they was full
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: of roaches. Now, without doing anything, you asked this woman
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: to reimburse y'all for the exterminator.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: But see you was talking to her crazy. Thats what see,
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: you ain't put that in letter. Girl.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: I came up your house and you gonna gave me
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: funck air clothing. There's roaches in my car and in
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: my house and we had to get an exterminator. You
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: owe us in in front of the exterminator. She'ter hung
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: up on you. Your husband took a video of the roaches, Like,
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: who need a video of a damn roach? Just cause
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: it's a video of a damn roach, don't mean it's
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: her roaches. Cause see, let me tell you about law.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: Once the roaches are transported, those are no longer her roaches.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: Them it is your roaches. These it's your roaches, Frans. Yes,
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: that's a law. Once once roaches leave your property line,
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: them are not your roaches anymore. They have thumbed a
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: ride somewhere else and they are now belonged to the
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: new owners that has the donation center for the harvest.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: This is all court cases that I'm like dealing with
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: right now. So I'm just gonna tell you in the
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: court of common sense, these are your roaches, and she
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: cannot reimburse you for your roaches.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: And you crazy for writing us. Yeah, yes, this is
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: just about roaches.
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: We don't care, and the lady with the roaches doesn't care.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you a question. Then, I want
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: an honest answer. Anybody in here didn't grow up and
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: didn't see no roaches at their house. Oh you see
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: the roads man, you'll see the room. So now why
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: she acting brand new? You know, like she don't know
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: what a roach is? Oh my god, roach.
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: But I will say this, Steve, having a couple of
- 1:04:15Speaker 12: roaches every now and again is different from an infestation,
- 1:04:19Speaker 12: like living with them.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: You know, it sounds like packed them.
- 1:04:23Speaker 12: This woman, Yeah, there was an infestation. She lived with
- 1:04:27Speaker 12: roaches on a daily basis. That's why it was no
- 1:04:29Speaker 12: big deal to her.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: That continue conversations. Yeah, that's what I'm.
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: Saying, don't care.
- 1:04:37Speaker 10: You sound crazy to this one.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: I pay asking herminator whose house had been overrun with
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: roaches and we been there all night, just putting wine
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: bottles on top of the roaches.
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: To kill them.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Joker, that's your book, partner.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: No, I didn't kill roaches with pool sticks, all kind
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: of stuff. Man, I'm not that comfortable. Listen. Wait, this
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: letter ain't even worth him.
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: No, no, no, you're not gonna get your money back.
- 1:05:18Speaker 12: Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey
- 1:05:20Speaker 12: f them on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:05:22Speaker 10: Che on the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.

- 1:05:33Speaker 6: I've been going to church a lot of years on Easter,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: and it's the most fascinating time for me because you
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: see stuff at the church that you really shouldn't see,
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: like people in lime green.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: This should not be in lime green. This, I mean,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: it's shocking. A lot of line, A little bit of
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: line goes a long way. Yeah, just a little bit.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: You got that little baby, beautiful black baby walking around
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: with that day glow lemon yellow dress on yellow. You're
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: gonna see colors that you did not know existence. I mean,
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: you just what is that air polish? What is that
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: air polish. Yeah, that's when you be going.
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: What is that?
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: That's a ranger tank, a rang tank. You just don't
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: know what's going on.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: You gonna see little boys with nickas on because they
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: mama thought it was cute.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: And little boy can't go round the rest of them
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: boys them pants. What is your pilgrim? Here's something else.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: She's gonna see.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: Way way too many barretts in this baby's It's just
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: way too many damn barrets in this baby head.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Baby walk around just clacking her head heavy. She cried.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: Here's something you're gonna see in somebody's house that's just
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: too much damn pineapple on that head, all this.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Damn pine What the hell, man, you can't see the
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: hell trying.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: To disguise this dry ass hair. You gonna see an
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: Easter bunny in street shoes because you know in the
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: hook you don't have the money for the feet, you
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: don't have the bunny entire.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: You just up in here with some black Tom McCann's street.
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: He got some floatshs on ballance, no floashing, no, no,
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: no street.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Shoes, baby, he floasher.
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: You're gonna see a fat man with a too small
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: jacket on and a little man with a too big.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: I always see that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 10: Coming up. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: after this.
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:08:47Speaker 12: All right, guys, it is time now for comedy roulette.
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: Jay, please quickly explain.
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: It's putting three subjects on a wheel, spinning the wheel
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: where the wheel stopped.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: We can make it funny because we're comedians.
- 1:09:04Speaker 10: Okay, this is true, all right.
- 1:09:08Speaker 12: Today's categories are lies people you know, people are going
- 1:09:11Speaker 12: to be telling lies and lies. People tell about why
- 1:09:14Speaker 12: they can't pay you back your money. Lies, You tell
- 1:09:20Speaker 12: about something you know you saw, and then oh, this
- 1:09:25Speaker 12: is interesting. A nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:09:29Speaker 12: A nice way to tell Christian off.
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: All right, yeah, all.
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: Right, let's spend.
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: A nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Let's go, fellas, all right, here we go.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: I always found that.
- 1:09:55Speaker 23: I always found that, when in an argument with the Christian,
- 1:09:57Speaker 23: go biblical only behind, yes, straight, biblical, and hit them
- 1:10:02Speaker 23: with this judge you not lest you be judged, and
- 1:10:06Speaker 23: then just walk away and.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: Then you.
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: I like it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 13: Yeah, Jay, I'm kind of in that same vein, but
- 1:10:12Speaker 13: I like to apply the stories directly to them when
- 1:10:15Speaker 13: I'm arguing with Christians, like, I know he died for
- 1:10:18Speaker 13: your sins.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: But you're about to go tell it thank you.
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: What.
- 1:10:23Speaker 13: I know, he died for your sins, but you're about
- 1:10:25Speaker 13: to go tell him thank.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: You about this right here? You know, I don't believe
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: Jesus would have did that.
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: A nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:10:39Speaker 23: Yeah, yeah, and we go comedy roulette. Nice way to
- 1:10:43Speaker 23: tell a Christian up. You know, I don't think Jesus
- 1:10:46Speaker 23: ever had a fight, but I have. Okay, Jesus never
- 1:10:51Speaker 23: had a fight, but I have.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, this is what I do. You know, the
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: ones that think they better than everybody else. It's like
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: I never saw you.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Walk on water.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: So nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: Come on, Steve.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: You know, I know Daniel got out the lines then,
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: but this is my house, like this just went there.
- 1:11:29Speaker 9: A nice way to tell a Christian off, Jay, A.
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Nice way to tell a Christian of You know, Easter
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: is coming up. I hope you get to wear that suit.
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: You gotta lay away, Okay, keep on.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Keep one.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:46Speaker 13: You can always apply stories in the Bible to Christians.
- 1:11:49Speaker 13: I always like the one that hurts like you know,
- 1:11:51Speaker 13: they be talking messy. Say, you know, have you ever
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: heard the story of Stoning or Stephen? Because I'm about
- 1:12:00Speaker 13: to do going there.
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: A nice way.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Junior off into the deep form.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Of yes, you got to know that, you know that,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you know that, you know it's a nice way to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: tell them.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Now you know you aren't just supposed to read the scriptures.
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: It's a lot of judgments going on.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Mm hmmm.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: The nice way to tell the question of you know,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Hella's in the Bible, won't you go there?
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: Look, Wow, this is nice way.
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: I'm not saying your daughters, I'm not saying that.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: But she got a Jezebel spirit.
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: Earlier.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, well, I mean at least you guys are cussing.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: Okay, A nice way to have, a nice way to
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: tell a Christian all well, you know, Kirk frankly said
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: it best.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: A good one.
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: And that Ladies and Gentlemen is comedy roulette.

- 1:18:43Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 1:18:45Speaker 12: Morning show, last break of the day. We've got a
- 1:18:48Speaker 12: great morning today, Yes, yes we did. We have fun today.
- 1:18:52Speaker 6: Steve.
- 1:18:53Speaker 10: It's time for you now to take us home with
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: your closing remarks. What you got for us today, Steve.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: Today, I want to talk to you about someone I
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: was talking with care about it and he sent me
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: something and I thought this would.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Be good because this is more of a spiritual piece
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: of motivation for you.
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: Because I'm talking to people right now who believe that
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: there is a God. I'm talking to people who believe
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: in God. If you're an atheist and all that, I
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: ain't talking to you no matter. You can just turn
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: off right now because I'm pretty sure you won't get this.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: But if you're a person who knows God but you
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: ain't really that close to it, or you know him
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: and you believe in him, but you know, I mean, look,
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: just maybe you ain't been down to church in a while,
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: maybe you ain't been around no spiritual people.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: In a while. This is who I'm talking to. I'm
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: talking to myself today.
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: I'm talking to myself about a subject that I need
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: to remind myself of all the time, and I want
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: to remind you of this too.
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: Don't allow God's promises to fall on death ears because
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: he talking to you.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: See this is a real one, y'all.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Don't allow God's promises to fall on deaf ears because
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: he talking to you. See, all of God's promises are
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: for each and every one of us. He's talking to us.
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: Don't get food and faked out here in life. That
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: God doesn't forgot about you, That God don't recognize your voice,
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: that God don't see what you're going through. That God
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: ain't got no feelings for you, that's a trick of
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: the devil. God loves you, man, He created you. God
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: has a space for you in his heart, but you
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: got to call on it. You know how many times
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: he even showed up on your behalf without you calling.
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: Imagine what would happen if you had a relationship with him,
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: because all of you know that no matter how bad
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: your life is being, don't you know it could have
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: been worse. I talked to inmates all the time to say, man,
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: I'm just so grateful that I'm sitting here because I
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: could have been dead. I know people in prison who
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: have said to me, man, if I hadn't come to prison,
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: I would be dead. I know people man who just
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: barely escaped going to prison. If it wasn't for just
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: something that happened, I would have been locked up today.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Don't you know? That was him? Who else was it?
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: You think somebody put a call in and saved you?
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: Who put a call in to stop you from getting
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: in that car? Little Steve Harvey when you were sitting
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: on them steps broke and your boys came by to
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: do this robbery and told you all you had to
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: do was drive. All I had to do was go
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: get in the car, and they was gonna give me
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: fifteen hundred. That's all I had to do. I went
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: in there to get my coat. My partners met me
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: on the porch and say, hey, man, this ain't what
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: you do. You're gonna be somebody hard. I don't know
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: what you're gonna be, but you different from us. Let
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: us go on down there. If I get something, I'd
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: give you a little something on the man, but don't
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: get in this car with us, because this ain't what
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: you do.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: You know who that was? That was God? Saving me.
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: That was God administering some grace to me. That was
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: God man who spared me. Two of them dudes that
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: went down there, they still in prison. I'm on the radio.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: I'm trying to tell you, go back, take inventory of
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: your life. You can find somewhere that God has done
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: something for you without you asking. Now suppose you had
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: a relationship with you. So what I'm finna tell you
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: real quickly is don't allow God's promises to fall on death.
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: Is because he talking to you. When God promised to
- 1:23:07Speaker 6: come to give you life and give you life more abundantly,
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: he talking about you. That's a promise that he is.
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: He talking about you. When he says that you that
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: you have not caused you ask not He was talking
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: to everybody. Most people don't have what they want in
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: life because they ain't never asked God for it. It's
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: one of the most important scriptures out there. You have
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: not cause your ask not. Why don't you asking? You
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: keep trying to figure your life out. Whon't you ask him?
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: Trying to figure out the next move? Why don't you
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: ask him? You want a better car, better home, better job,
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: better family?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Have you asked him for it?
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: When he said he would lead you beside the steal waters.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: He was talking about you. Jesus promises he keep making
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: to us. Don't let him fall on death. Is because
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: he talking to you. He said he'd be there for
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: you in times of trouble. Who you think he was
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: talking to He was talking to you. In his word,
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: he said he would never forsake you.
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: Who you talking?
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: Who you think he talked? He was talking to you.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: That means he'll never leave you. He'll never leave you.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: Man, But we leave him all the time. Didn wonder
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: where he at. We left him back over there. He
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: said in his word that he's a healer. He talking
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: about you. Don't let these promises fall on death. Is
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: because he talking to you. He promised that he would
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: make a way out of no way.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: He talking to you.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: How this little boy on this radio with this stuttering problem,
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: the one that flunked out of school, the one that's
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: on his third marriage, the one that lost everything he
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: ever owned twice, the one that lived in the car
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: for three years. How he on the radio the day
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: and all over the TV. Because God will make a
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: way out of no way. That's a promise he made.
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: Don't let it fall on death is because he talking
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: to you that he would give you the desires of
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: your heart.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: He talking to you. He wasn't just talking to me,
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: that he would never leave you.
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: He talking to you Jesus promises he made that he
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: would protect you from your enemies. That's Isaiah fifteen four seventeen.
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: Who you think he was talking to? He talking to you, y'all,
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: have yourself a good weekend. He talking to you. Don't
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: let these promises fall empty. Y'all have a great weekend.
