- 0:59Speaker 1: You know douse that.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You turn, you gotta turn. You have to turn the
- 1:42Speaker 2: mout to turn my probably got to turn them out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: A wad of the money. Come come on, you're think,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will? Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I said, come on now, dig me the one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, Now, I'm
- 2:14Speaker 1: gonna be really honest with you this morning. I really
- 2:17Speaker 1: don't know what to say. I really don't. I was
- 2:25Speaker 1: sitting here and I was thinking what do I say today?
- 2:31Speaker 1: I do know that I want to be encouraging, uplifting
- 2:36Speaker 1: and inspirational in some way to affect somebody today. Oftentimes,
- 2:42Speaker 1: these conversations that I have in the mornings, they're designed
- 2:47Speaker 1: with me because I needed myself, y'all, to be honest
- 2:51Speaker 1: with you. I mean, you know, who makes the comedian laugh?
- 2:57Speaker 1: I used to say all the time, And even though
- 3:01Speaker 1: what we talk about in the morning is not a
- 3:03Speaker 1: laughing matter, it kind of like is who I am today.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You know, I need motivation in my life sometimes myself.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I think when I get in moments like this, I
- 3:17Speaker 1: often resort back to the same thing over and over
- 3:23Speaker 1: and over. And when I find myself in certain predicaments,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I can always fall back on the same thing over
- 3:32Speaker 1: and over. So while I'm sitting here trying to figure
- 3:36Speaker 1: out what to say to you, the one thing that
- 3:40Speaker 1: I did do this morning that I find to be
- 3:42Speaker 1: very consistent in me is that I find myself grateful.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'm ever grateful for the things that God has done
- 3:52Speaker 1: for me. I may not always know what to say,
- 3:57Speaker 1: but I know how to say thank you. I do.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I know how to remember and reflect back on where
- 4:04Speaker 1: I come from. I know how to realize where all
- 4:10Speaker 1: my blessings come from. I'm very very conscious of my
- 4:15Speaker 1: journey that I've been on, the one that was from
- 4:20Speaker 1: then until now, that journey right there is it's been.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's been. It's been. Uh it's been difficult, man, it
- 4:30Speaker 1: really really has. I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Me.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Becoming successful was very difficult. But as hard as this
- 4:42Speaker 1: is to say, I really really mean this. I wouldn't
- 4:47Speaker 1: change nothing about the trip I've been on. Number one,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because I can't change anything about it. So I never
- 4:59Speaker 1: lived my life and regret. But the main thing is
- 5:03Speaker 1: was I discovered along the way now, not doing the
- 5:08Speaker 1: process when you're going through rough moments that you can't
- 5:12Speaker 1: hardly see the good in it at the time. It's
- 5:15Speaker 1: just rough for you and it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes
- 5:18Speaker 1: I thought it was unfair. But as I am now,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I needed every single thing that happened to me, that
- 5:27Speaker 1: happened to me to happen to me. I hope that
- 5:33Speaker 1: makes sense to you. I needed everything to happen in
- 5:38Speaker 1: the exact order and the exact way that it happened
- 5:43Speaker 1: in order for me to be the person that I've become.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And that right there, man, is just very comforting to me.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Mister Jakes told me one time, he said, the closer
- 5:57Speaker 1: you get to God, the more friends only you all become,
- 6:02Speaker 1: the more He will reveal to you are the how
- 6:07Speaker 1: it comes and what falls of a lot of things
- 6:10Speaker 1: that's happened to you. Because a lot of times what
- 6:12Speaker 1: troubles us is we just can't understand why we lost
- 6:16Speaker 1: that love on back then. We just can't understand why
- 6:20Speaker 1: we didn't get what we wanted back then, we just
- 6:24Speaker 1: don't understand how come our plan didn't work out and
- 6:27Speaker 1: we had to fail so miserably. Back then, we don't
- 6:31Speaker 1: understand the answers to these things. Well, the closer I've
- 6:35Speaker 1: gotten to God, the more those explanations have become crystal
- 6:39Speaker 1: clear to me. And See, the one thing that I
- 6:42Speaker 1: came to the realization everybody is that the things that
- 6:45Speaker 1: was happening to me, they wasn't really all bad. They
- 6:50Speaker 1: really wasn't that they didn't taste good. When it was happening,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I didn't enjoy what I was going through. But as
- 6:57Speaker 1: I look back on them and reflect now, it wasn't
- 6:59Speaker 1: all bad. Some of those things were so necessary for
- 7:02Speaker 1: me to get the information because see, I don't know
- 7:04Speaker 1: about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I said, I don't know about you, but I'm kind
- 7:10Speaker 1: of hard headed and stubborn. I kind of like to
- 7:14Speaker 1: think that I know something about some things every now
- 7:19Speaker 1: and then, and the things I am convinced about. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't really really care for people trying to talk me
- 7:25Speaker 1: off mine. So I can be stubborn and hard headed.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Sometimes God knows that about me. So I think to
- 7:33Speaker 1: get some of the messages crystal clear through to me
- 7:36Speaker 1: that I needed to learn. That was this process I
- 7:38Speaker 1: had to go through. That process was my journey, It
- 7:42Speaker 1: was my trip. It was my woe, my pain. See,
- 7:45Speaker 1: everybody got them different, It don't matter what it is.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain, everybody got
- 7:52Speaker 1: a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got some challenge.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't care who you are is. Quit looking at
- 7:58Speaker 1: me thinking that I got it going on so tough man.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But if Steve, yeah, it's easy for you to say that,
- 8:04Speaker 1: but you ain't here. You don't know. Whey, Ben, if
- 8:08Speaker 1: you would stop hanging yourself up on your past, worrying
- 8:11Speaker 1: about your woes and your troubles and the situation you in,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and start praying and start asking God to get you
- 8:19Speaker 1: through it. See a lot of times you messed it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You messed the message up yourself. Because when you're going
- 8:25Speaker 1: through some stuff, you ask God to remove it and
- 8:27Speaker 1: take it away. That ain't the lesson. You got to
- 8:30Speaker 1: learn your lesson sometimes it's got to be how to
- 8:34Speaker 1: be strong, how to see it through, how to bear
- 8:39Speaker 1: under it, how to carry that weight long distances for
- 8:43Speaker 1: long periods of time. That's how you get strong The
- 8:47Speaker 1: lesson is to make you stronger. But to make you stronger,
- 8:50Speaker 1: you got to carry the weight. You can't get stronger
- 8:52Speaker 1: you don't go to gym or you don't do something
- 8:54Speaker 1: at your house to lift your own body weight. See,
- 8:59Speaker 1: a lot of people can't even do push ups. They
- 9:03Speaker 1: can't get down, and in the course of a day,
- 9:05Speaker 1: give you a hundred push ups because they ain't they
- 9:08Speaker 1: ain't never tried it. They by it. They get to
- 9:11Speaker 1: twenty and that you shake it so bad they stop.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's too much for me. Well, let me tell you something.
- 9:16Speaker 1: So I learned to quit praying to take stuff away.
- 9:19Speaker 1: My prayer became to give me the strength to handle it.
- 9:21Speaker 1: People oftentimes ask me, how do you do all that
- 9:24Speaker 1: you do in the course of the day. I don't
- 9:27Speaker 1: really know. I just know I can because I know
- 9:32Speaker 1: God don't put more on you than you can bath.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So when you ask me how you do all of
- 9:37Speaker 1: what you do in the course of the day, I
- 9:39Speaker 1: got God. God is good. He'll get you through whatever
- 9:43Speaker 1: it is you're going through. So when you trip it
- 9:45Speaker 1: and you don't know what to say, reflect and be
- 9:50Speaker 1: grateful for all you reflect on, think about God's goodness
- 9:54Speaker 1: and watch what he do for you. That's the cold part. Okay,
- 9:58Speaker 1: listening Morning Show, ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. Anyone who
- 10:06Speaker 1: has ever trained an animal, let me have you undivided attention.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Anybody who has ever hung off the back of a
- 10:14Speaker 1: waste management vehicle or I wanted to do that when
- 10:17Speaker 1: I was I wanted to be gone, man, so I
- 10:20Speaker 1: could ride on the back of the truck. That's that
- 10:23Speaker 1: was my dream. Well, good thing I changed your dream,
- 10:27Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show, Live and Well,
- 10:30Speaker 1: full of gratitude. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 10:34Speaker 1: Junior and the legend of nephew Tommy Junior out. You
- 10:37Speaker 1: know what, man, I know you've been a little upset
- 10:41Speaker 1: with me and Tommy over the past few days. Ladies,
- 10:44Speaker 1: kind of God on us about it. It was saying,
- 10:47Speaker 1: you know, y'all been a little rough on him, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: because you know it's fist in his backyard and you
- 10:54Speaker 1: know he's sold. What now is it.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Was no nopologize what is this? What it's acknowledging?
- 11:10Speaker 1: That's it? Yeah it is. Yeah, we did it, but
- 11:14Speaker 1: not what Yeah, now, now it would make me feel better.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Now if y'all showed up now for the memorrowing day barbecue.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Now you have to come because you acknowledge what Junior,
- 11:24Speaker 1: Junior were already told you can't do that. Listen to
- 11:27Speaker 1: you just said you were gonna bout twenty five dollars
- 11:29Speaker 1: worth of meach that. Don't nobody want to go over
- 11:32Speaker 1: there and have to decide the piece he's gonna get.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I already told you. Well, it's just the.
- 11:40Speaker 7: Fact, okay, decision is made you sound a little ungrateful
- 11:44Speaker 7: about the money I'm spending on the meat. See, that's
- 11:48Speaker 7: that's what hurt my feelings, because you you act like
- 11:50Speaker 7: I got to do what you do. Just be grateful
- 11:53Speaker 7: for the for the for the wing and the sausage
- 11:55Speaker 7: and the poa chop I'm gonna do for you.
- 11:58Speaker 1: And see tell them I don't. I don't. I would
- 12:02Speaker 1: have to be grateful if that's all I could eat.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But I have created choices, and one of the choices
- 12:08Speaker 1: I have decide to just eat in my damn house
- 12:12Speaker 1: what I want as much as I want what I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: not fit to do to sit over your house and
- 12:17Speaker 1: stand in no line with no damn paper plate and
- 12:20Speaker 1: then have somebody telling me you want the hamburger or
- 12:23Speaker 1: you want to salt. Yeah, I can't put both these
- 12:28Speaker 1: on the plate, you know, I don't. I don't want
- 12:31Speaker 1: to go to barbecue like that. And let me don't get.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Back to the real reason. We don't want to be
- 12:36Speaker 6: a too How playing would you rather? We don't want
- 12:38Speaker 6: to do that though?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Here the real reason I don't want to come to
- 12:43Speaker 1: the barbecue, because let's just get back to the real reasons,
- 12:45Speaker 1: because then we started the whole thing. You ain't got
- 12:48Speaker 1: no fence in your back. Okay, Now I'm not going
- 12:52Speaker 1: to go out here. Listen to me. If I go
- 12:54Speaker 1: over people house, I want to go to the barbecue.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I don't want to go to the cookout on the
- 12:58Speaker 1: wide open range. Why don't we just have it out
- 13:01Speaker 1: on the prairies somewhere. I don't want humble weeeze and stuff.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You're rolling up on.
- 13:07Speaker 6: Here, Junior, when you're looking out where the fence line is,
- 13:11Speaker 6: what's on the other side.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Of that house? Yeah, somebody house right there, see right.
- 13:17Speaker 7: The good thing about them is they got a fence,
- 13:19Speaker 7: so they not really even gonna be able to see
- 13:21Speaker 7: you cause we sit high.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Privacy is there? Yeah, I got you, mane, I got you.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You sit up on the hill, but the house behind
- 13:29Speaker 1: you gotta fit.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Ain't nobody tell me. Nobody gonna nowheresh y'all, it's just up,
- 13:35Speaker 1: all right, it's just coming up.
- 13:38Speaker 8: In thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from
- 13:41Speaker 8: the nephews. He runs that prank back right after this.

- 15:06Speaker 9: think I need to just try to bring a few
- 15:08Speaker 9: things to you guys attention. But I think you know,
- 15:10Speaker 9: after that, it's pretty much you guys decision on what
- 15:12Speaker 9: you do. But I just wanted to let you know
- 15:13Speaker 9: a few things about you know, the results and things
- 15:16Speaker 9: of that nature, Life Insurance, the whole nine yards.
- 15:18Speaker 10: Okay, Okay, I'm right down. Let me see if I
- 15:21Speaker 10: can get them on the phone.

- 15:53Speaker 9: of bet if I talk to both of you guys
- 15:55Speaker 9: at the same time. So do you have a minute
- 15:56Speaker 9: that we could actually use a kind of get some
- 15:58Speaker 9: of this information out to you.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna break right now.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 16:02Speaker 9: Okay, great. First of all, we've gotten all your your
- 16:05Speaker 9: lab results back everything, and I kind of got a
- 16:08Speaker 9: few questions for you guys that I'm a little puzzled on.
- 16:11Speaker 9: How long have you guys actually been married.
- 16:14Speaker 2: We've been together free.
- 16:16Speaker 9: Years, okay, now, prior to being married three years. How
- 16:19Speaker 9: long did you guys know each other before you got married?
- 16:22Speaker 12: Oh, you say about five and a half, five six years?
- 16:25Speaker 12: About six years?
- 16:26Speaker 9: Okay, You guys have been knowing each other pretty close
- 16:28Speaker 9: to nine years now, all together, yeah. Okay, are you
- 16:31Speaker 9: actually from the same hometowns you grew up in the
- 16:34Speaker 9: same hometown yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we grew up.
- 16:38Speaker 5: I mean, I'm sorry, is this question I mean, is
- 16:41Speaker 5: this about the insurance.
- 16:42Speaker 9: Or well, I mean, there's a few things that that's
- 16:45Speaker 9: actually puzzling, Carmen that we need to this. This is
- 16:51Speaker 9: some news I actually didn't want to bring.
- 16:53Speaker 5: You, guys. I mean we have to.
- 16:55Speaker 9: I have to actually give you this news. Looking at
- 16:58Speaker 9: our records, looking at all of test results, and let
- 17:00Speaker 9: me be the person to tell you that we run
- 17:01Speaker 9: these results over and over and over, trying to make
- 17:04Speaker 9: sure we are completely one hundred and fifteen to twenty
- 17:07Speaker 9: percent right, Okay, it's.
- 17:09Speaker 5: A problem with the test.
- 17:10Speaker 9: Well, looking at our test, guys, Carvey Carmen, it's indicating
- 17:15Speaker 9: that you guys are related, and nine times out of
- 17:19Speaker 9: ten you are.
- 17:19Speaker 5: You guys are siblings. What hold on, man, what.
- 17:26Speaker 9: And I understand the shop.
- 17:28Speaker 5: It took me.
- 17:29Speaker 9: It took everything I had to make this phone call.
- 17:30Speaker 9: I did not want to make it. But looking at
- 17:32Speaker 9: our records, and we went over these records over and over,
- 17:36Speaker 9: and the blood work tells us that you guys are
- 17:39Speaker 9: actually siblings.
- 17:41Speaker 10: Many help you kidding?
- 17:46Speaker 5: Are you serious?
- 17:48Speaker 9: I'm actually I'm you know what this is not that
- 17:51Speaker 9: This is not a laughing matter, not a joking matter.
- 17:53Speaker 5: You know.
- 17:54Speaker 9: Like I said, I did not want to call with
- 17:56Speaker 9: this information.
- 17:57Speaker 5: What you did make the phone call?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Man?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Look you, I don't know what. You need to go
- 18:03Speaker 5: back and and and double check your records or something
- 18:06Speaker 5: because you've been married three brief check with the lab. Man,
- 18:11Speaker 5: can you check with the lab and like Paul is
- 18:13Speaker 5: back what Harvey and I.
- 18:15Speaker 9: And I and I knew those questions would have come up,
- 18:17Speaker 9: and we we went over it. We went over it
- 18:20Speaker 9: and over it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: And over it.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Y'all need to go over it again because I don't Babe,
- 18:26Speaker 5: I got this. You made the call and this gotta
- 18:30Speaker 5: be wrong. So what you need to do is make
- 18:32Speaker 5: another call. It called back and let us know that
- 18:36Speaker 5: you need to know they made a mistake or you're
- 18:39Speaker 5: talking about me and my wife.
- 18:41Speaker 9: And I understand it. Harry, All right, let me ask.
- 18:43Speaker 10: You this is it possible, you know, and this is
- 18:46Speaker 10: just a question.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Is it possible that your dad and maybe her mom
- 18:50Speaker 9: maybe knew each other at some point?
- 18:51Speaker 12: And what.
- 18:53Speaker 5: You're saying for my mom and dad that's so straight.
- 18:57Speaker 10: Look at you need to have to go back and
- 18:59Speaker 10: do whatever you need to do.
- 19:00Speaker 5: But I think you like you say something like that again,
- 19:03Speaker 5: I'm thinking my baby's gonna be coming down that beat
- 19:05Speaker 5: yours like that. Baby, baby, baby, baby, I don't old baby,
- 19:09Speaker 5: I got this an, I got a baby. I got
- 19:13Speaker 5: a baby. I gotta how he's gonna call me with
- 19:15Speaker 5: you what you know you from?
- 19:18Speaker 1: People do like that.
- 19:19Speaker 5: But that ain't all on you, sir.
- 19:21Speaker 9: It is bringing you the result.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Why don't you bring me the results in personal and
- 19:25Speaker 5: that I whomp you.
- 19:26Speaker 10: That's what I'm talking about.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Beating him up.
- 19:28Speaker 9: Hey, sir, even if you beat the messenger at the
- 19:31Speaker 9: end of the day, that's still your sister.
- 19:33Speaker 5: At the end of the day, I'm gonna womp you.
- 19:34Speaker 10: But I don't care what he's talking about nothing.
- 19:37Speaker 5: He ain't my damn brother, Bata. I'm gonna find out
- 19:40Speaker 5: what you whatever you willcle you in. You're gonna call
- 19:43Speaker 5: me time out. We brothers, my wife.
- 19:46Speaker 9: I am that son. Somewhere down the line, somebody made
- 19:49Speaker 9: a mistake and you guys, a brother and sister got married.
- 19:53Speaker 9: I'm not as far for that.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Well, let me tell you that don't you make the
- 19:56Speaker 5: mistake of callegue. He's in one of these numbers again
- 19:58Speaker 5: in your life.
- 19:59Speaker 9: So I got one more test result. I do need
- 20:02Speaker 9: to get.
- 20:05Speaker 5: What you've been talking about them. What else you got
- 20:07Speaker 5: to say? No, it's gonna be working me.
- 20:09Speaker 9: The only other test result I have, ma'am, is that
- 20:11Speaker 9: this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 20:14Speaker 9: You just got prayed by your girlfriends.
- 20:24Speaker 5: I told you, Like.
- 20:27Speaker 9: I told you, I got one more thing. I got
- 20:34Speaker 9: to ask both of y'all what is the baddest And
- 20:36Speaker 9: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Steve Show.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Love Who Love You? Okay? Thank you?
- 20:50Speaker 8: Ignorance?
- 20:51Speaker 1: All right?
- 20:53Speaker 8: Coming up next, it is asked the CLO you're listening.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Morning show?
- 20:59Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:02Speaker 8: slut Walk founder and model Amber Rose says she's writing
- 21:06Speaker 8: with Trump still trending. Cameron the Rapper addressed his viral
- 21:10Speaker 8: interview with CNN's Abby Philip fifty cent sells his Ditty
- 21:14Speaker 8: documentary to Netflix, and Kelly Rowland had to check a
- 21:17Speaker 8: can Film Festival security guard. We'll talk about all of
- 21:20Speaker 8: these stories at the top of the hour. But right
- 21:23Speaker 8: now it is time to ask the clo. This is
- 21:27Speaker 8: from Duchess in Tampa. Duchess writes, I danced with a
- 21:30Speaker 8: man at a blues festival and I gave him my number.
- 21:33Speaker 8: He said he had a girlfriend when he met me,
- 21:35Speaker 8: but he broke up with her so he could be
- 21:37Speaker 8: free to date me. My mom said, this is a
- 21:40Speaker 8: big red flag. Is he wrong for knowing what he wants?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Well, your mama ain't telling you it's a red flag
- 21:49Speaker 1: for lower of what he wants. Your mama's telling you
- 21:52Speaker 1: a red flag that the man told you he had
- 21:56Speaker 1: a girlfriend and then right after that, I told you
- 21:59Speaker 1: he broke come up with her so he could be
- 22:01Speaker 1: free to date you. That is not how men operate.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You ever heard the saying a bird in the hand
- 22:07Speaker 1: that's worth two in the bush. If we got a chick,
- 22:11Speaker 1: that's we date and then as soon as we meet you,
- 22:14Speaker 1: we're gonna stop dating huns. So we could go over
- 22:17Speaker 1: here to meet you, I mean, I mean date you
- 22:21Speaker 1: that that that's not how we work. We got to
- 22:23Speaker 1: see we got to see bout it first. So what's
- 22:28Speaker 1: gonna happen is he gonna keep the bird in the
- 22:30Speaker 1: hand and go over there and get in the bushes. Okay, okay,
- 22:39Speaker 1: Now you ain't gotta believe your mom if you want to.
- 22:42Speaker 1: But is it wrong because he knows what he wants? When? When?
- 22:46Speaker 1: What timeframe?
- 22:47Speaker 9: Me?
- 22:47Speaker 1: You just danced that the dude at the already you
- 22:51Speaker 1: old who blues concert? That's some sit down and sit
- 22:59Speaker 1: brown on likal music. Yes, due, I got a girl
- 23:06Speaker 1: we already on the day I just met you, And
- 23:13Speaker 1: now for her, I'm developing hate. I don't know why
- 23:19Speaker 1: it just happened. Then as soon as I I saw you,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I ain't going in back again. Well I want you now. Hell,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm I'm giving up everything for you here. Now you
- 23:42Speaker 1: can go and ask your mama. What I just said
- 23:49Speaker 1: was the truth?
- 23:50Speaker 8: Yes?
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yes, come on blues?
- 23:58Speaker 8: Yes on to Cynthia? And why could keep Cynthia? Says
- 24:03Speaker 8: my boyfriend and I don't see eye to eye when
- 24:05Speaker 8: it comes to sex. I like to freshen up, put
- 24:07Speaker 8: on matching underwear, or at least take my bonnet off.
- 24:10Speaker 8: He doesn't care about any of that. Do I lower
- 24:13Speaker 8: my standards of cleanliness to please my nasty boyfriend?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Uh, you're asking the wrong person because he ain't taking
- 24:20Speaker 1: no show. I don't understand where you're coming from. Right there.
- 24:26Speaker 1: If you gotta do what you gotta do to make
- 24:28Speaker 1: yourself feel good, you know he he not in it
- 24:31Speaker 1: for the bonny bonnet, ain't even in the way. But
- 24:41Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from. You gotta get what
- 24:43Speaker 1: you want, yeah, and you got to explain it to him.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And all he got to do is develop some patience. Yes,
- 24:52Speaker 1: And it to be better if he developed some patience. Yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 1: But on the other hand, I'll he stay with you.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Let's get it on. Why are you coming in here?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Be matching draws? You can lay them right over there
- 25:18Speaker 1: on the floor. They still maching on the floor. Yeah, man,
- 25:24Speaker 1: where did you put them on for? We couldn't get
- 25:26Speaker 1: him up.
- 25:34Speaker 8: So you're saying they both have a point y'all said
- 25:38Speaker 8: what I said, Damon and Tifton says. My girl and
- 25:47Speaker 8: I were in bed and my mother called me upset.
- 25:50Speaker 8: I went to the kitchen and talked to her for
- 25:51Speaker 8: an hour until she calmed down. My girlfriend called my
- 25:54Speaker 8: mama's boy. Called my girlfriend called me mama's boy as
- 25:58Speaker 8: she left. Do men really be putting their girlfriends before
- 26:01Speaker 8: their mother's Well.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It's not putting your girlfriend in front of your mother.
- 26:07Speaker 1: If your mama got an issue you, I mean, you
- 26:11Speaker 1: know you got to go help mama. Now, if the
- 26:13Speaker 1: woman don't understand that, she calling you a mama's boy
- 26:17Speaker 1: and then she left, then she want to be put first.
- 26:21Speaker 1: But you got to earn position over dudes, mama. Now,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know you got to earn that position. That's hard,
- 26:28Speaker 1: position earned. You're talking about a boy's first love. It's
- 26:31Speaker 1: his mama, that's first woman he ever loved. Now, that
- 26:35Speaker 1: don't make you a mama's boy because you love your mama.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I love my mom and she would say I wouldn't
- 26:40Speaker 1: no mama's boy. But you know what I mean, you
- 26:44Speaker 1: got to replace that. To get in front of that,
- 26:46Speaker 1: you gotta do some proof. That's hard. That is really
- 26:51Speaker 1: really hard. Well, I can tell you I've had a
- 26:57Speaker 1: couple people in my life. It wasn't wasn't getting in
- 26:59Speaker 1: front of mama. So well, you ain't making it cut.
- 27:11Speaker 8: All right, damon?
- 27:12Speaker 3: M hm.
- 27:13Speaker 8: Last one, Steve, last one. This is Willie May. Willie May, Okay.
- 27:18Speaker 8: Willie May says, my son has three children by his
- 27:22Speaker 8: first wife, and they are my babies. His second wife
- 27:25Speaker 8: has two children. I don't treat them like they're my
- 27:28Speaker 8: grandbabies because they're not. They already have four grandparents. Why
- 27:33Speaker 8: is my son trying to make me love those kids?
- 27:38Speaker 1: See now, Willie May you know better? You know better,
- 27:43Speaker 1: Willing may come on, Willie may see it's the same
- 27:49Speaker 1: woman that's down there dancing in this other a clo question,
- 27:53Speaker 1: dancing down at the blues festival. These are the type
- 27:56Speaker 1: of people's names that's down at the blues will.
- 28:02Speaker 8: Betty Jean, Yeah, come on, pat come on, he's just
- 28:09Speaker 8: named from your past. Sounds like they.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Fit though they class Yeah, Win long there like a
- 28:17Speaker 1: Green Janet, guen Odetta, Pearl Nay Gladys Gladys Glass, Patty
- 28:38Speaker 1: may orifus what what Oris elb Ruth the book Root? Yes, Malakai?
- 28:57Speaker 1: Are you help? Will May No, I really got that
- 29:00Speaker 1: ful with I'm just going over old lass names right now.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I think there's way more interesting than that question, because
- 29:08Speaker 1: Winning mayf you care about your mother keys, she'd have
- 29:10Speaker 1: made up of mine. Those are still your grandbabies, now, no,
- 29:15Speaker 1: not to her.
- 29:16Speaker 8: That's coming up Doc at the top of the hour,
- 29:18Speaker 8: Thank you, Celo, We'll have some entertainment news for you.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Right after this, you're listening Hardy Morning Show. So, SlutWalk
- 29:28Speaker 8: founder and model Amber Rose got people talking on Monday
- 29:32Speaker 8: when she came out in support of Donald Trump. She
- 29:35Speaker 8: took to Instagram to post a picture with the former
- 29:37Speaker 8: president and his wife, and in the caption, all she
- 29:40Speaker 8: wrote was Trump twenty twenty four with the trio of
- 29:43Speaker 8: American flag emojis. So does anybody care? I mean we're talking, Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 1: We care. Yeah, the founder of the slut Walk right there,
- 29:57Speaker 1: Amber Rode is supporting Trump. Who care?
- 30:03Speaker 13: What she's supposed to be all for women's rights and
- 30:06Speaker 13: all this, and now you're supporting this candidate who appointed
- 30:10Speaker 13: Supreme Court justices taking away women's reproductive rights.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Which one is it? You for women's rights or for
- 30:18Speaker 1: this candidate? Right? What does slut walk mean? Why would
- 30:22Speaker 1: you mean?
- 30:23Speaker 13: Don't shame women for Yeah, their choices, sexuality, stuff like that.
- 30:30Speaker 1: That's what that means. It's words. So she studied. You're
- 30:36Speaker 1: supposed to be all right with that.
- 30:37Speaker 8: I mean, I'm just asking now that you're supposed to
- 30:40Speaker 8: be all right. Just let her be her if that's
- 30:42Speaker 8: what she wants to be, If that's her choice, then
- 30:44Speaker 8: respect her choice. Well, she's saying no judging women for Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 8: well she she wants to change that narrative.
- 30:52Speaker 1: If me and sleep around, ain't we dogs respect our
- 30:56Speaker 1: choice and to sleep around? She's just contradicting herself. I
- 31:05Speaker 1: think in a way change. But we are not understanding
- 31:12Speaker 1: what we are doing in saying to ourselves with this
- 31:15Speaker 1: support of Trump. Show me, show me anything Trump has
- 31:21Speaker 1: done for any black people. Just show me women, show
- 31:27Speaker 1: me the policy that was created, Show me anything he's
- 31:31Speaker 1: done for black people.
- 31:33Speaker 8: Anything he said he's done more for black people than Lincoln.
- 31:37Speaker 8: He said that, of.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Course when something stupid. Now remember the but remember the
- 31:49Speaker 1: overriding statement to y'all, he wants to make America great. Campaigns,
- 31:55Speaker 1: everybody he has points and everybody who supports him is
- 32:00Speaker 1: dising diversity. They're removing any affirmative action programs. They're getting
- 32:06Speaker 1: rid of all history being taught in schools. Just look
- 32:09Speaker 1: at what his Republican boys is doing down in Florida,
- 32:12Speaker 1: trying to do in Texas and liver I'm not surprise
- 32:15Speaker 1: they're trying to get rid of the Supreme Court. The
- 32:19Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell. Nell ain't not gonna be no reparations. Dog.
- 32:22Speaker 1: They're not gonna do nothing.
- 32:24Speaker 8: He got through the Amber Rose of late all right,
- 32:27Speaker 8: we're gonna move on to other entertainment news. By now,
- 32:30Speaker 8: you've all seen the viral video clip of Cameron the
- 32:33Speaker 8: Rapper his interview on CNN with Abbi Phillip. He was
- 32:37Speaker 8: there to discuss what he wanted to discuss, and he
- 32:39Speaker 8: got mad when Abby Phillip asked him about the latest
- 32:42Speaker 8: Diddy video and she basically asked him if he recognized
- 32:46Speaker 8: Diddy's anger. Cameron didn't like the question, called out the producers,
- 32:50Speaker 8: saying who booked me? During the interview, Cameron also took
- 32:53Speaker 8: a drink of his sexual supplement drink and then made
- 32:56Speaker 8: sexual references about what he was going to do later on.
- 33:00Speaker 8: And Cameron responded to the interview saying, if they invite
- 33:03Speaker 8: me to see Ann for He went on to say
- 33:06Speaker 8: that he was basically disappointed that he wasn't asked about
- 33:08Speaker 8: his great podcast that he co hosts with former bad
- 33:11Speaker 8: Boy rapper Mace. So you guys saw this right?
- 33:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Does he not do what he want to do? I
- 33:19Speaker 1: don't really know the brother, but brother, you a't see
- 33:22Speaker 1: an end somebody in your camp? Somebody, why else would
- 33:27Speaker 1: they want to talk to you see an in not
- 33:29Speaker 1: gonna bring you on to talk about your podcast. They not,
- 33:34Speaker 1: They just not. I know your podcast is good. I
- 33:38Speaker 1: know it's interesting to a lot of people. I've watched
- 33:41Speaker 1: it and had a couple of good moments watching him
- 33:44Speaker 1: and Mace, But that ain't what they brought you on
- 33:46Speaker 1: that one. Go ahead, Carl, I have a question. Do
- 33:50Speaker 1: they ask do they send you the questions ahead of time?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Do you know what your producers on television? They pre
- 33:57Speaker 1: produced this segment, but you know somebody on your camp
- 34:02Speaker 1: know what you're gonna get? Asked? Oh okay, so it's
- 34:06Speaker 1: surprised question. Yeah, television cannot afford for you to get
- 34:12Speaker 1: up in there and they have a segment that ain't working,
- 34:15Speaker 1: that's unproduced, and no one is everybody surprised. If CNN
- 34:19Speaker 1: had a known that's what they was gonna get from camp,
- 34:22Speaker 1: they would have never booked him on that show.
- 34:25Speaker 8: CNN would have invited Mace because he worked with Puffy.
- 34:31Speaker 8: Yeah he made that's the one that it was a
- 34:34Speaker 8: bad boy artist, bad boy record, yea artists, yo, yo,
- 34:41Speaker 8: y'all think and inn know all this? Somebody You would
- 34:45Speaker 8: think someone at CNN would know I was thinking, I
- 34:48Speaker 8: don't know, Cam could have handled it a little better
- 34:51Speaker 8: and more more absolutely to Abby Philip espy.
- 34:56Speaker 1: But you know, man, that's all right. We're not on
- 35:00Speaker 1: top of our business part of it. This is show business.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Show business is two separate words. They got a great podcast,
- 35:08Speaker 1: so that's a great show. We'll not there's some business
- 35:11Speaker 1: that go with this too. And your team got to
- 35:14Speaker 1: make you fully aware of what's going on because Abby
- 35:17Speaker 1: Phillips producers told them what this was about and told
- 35:20Speaker 1: them they was gonna ask him about that, and they
- 35:22Speaker 1: didn't prep him and they put him up there.
- 35:24Speaker 8: And this is what you got, all right, coming up
- 35:27Speaker 8: in twenty minutes after the hour the other day. Remember, nephew,

- 53:41Speaker 6: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:42Speaker 6: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:45Speaker 8: Thank you, nephew, subject the lounge closed last year. Dear
- 53:49Speaker 8: Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have been married for
- 53:52Speaker 8: eleven years and we have our separate spaces in the house.
- 53:55Speaker 8: This has helped us cope with the day to day
- 53:57Speaker 8: stress of being married. I have a group of friends
- 54:00Speaker 8: that I play cards with once a month, but I
- 54:02Speaker 8: prefer to be at home, watching movies and reading. My
- 54:05Speaker 8: husband is nothing like me. He's very outgoing and he
- 54:08Speaker 8: loves to be outside, as he calls it. His need
- 54:12Speaker 8: to be outside has caused a lot of problems, and
- 54:14Speaker 8: it's the reason he's in trouble. He told me a
- 54:17Speaker 8: string of bad lies, and I called him out because
- 54:20Speaker 8: he thinks I'm stupid. It was almost two a m.
- 54:23Speaker 8: When my husband came home Sunday morning. I was knocked out,
- 54:27Speaker 8: and he woke me up just to tell me some
- 54:29Speaker 8: bad lies. He looked like he had just gotten off work.
- 54:34Speaker 8: His clothes were not wrinkled, and he was full of conversation.
- 54:37Speaker 8: He said he started drinking after work with a few
- 54:40Speaker 8: of his coworkers, and he met up with his doctor
- 54:42Speaker 8: after that, and he lost track of time after he
- 54:45Speaker 8: went to a cigar lounge downtown. I know for a
- 54:48Speaker 8: fact that the lounge that he supposedly went to after
- 54:52Speaker 8: midnight closed at eleven PM, back when it was open,
- 54:56Speaker 8: but it's been closed since last summer because of water dam.
- 55:00Speaker 1: He couldn't tell me.
- 55:02Speaker 8: He couldn't tell me any of his coworkers' names that
- 55:04Speaker 8: he was with, and he stuttered when I asked him
- 55:07Speaker 8: which one of his doctors he was hanging with. His
- 55:09Speaker 8: clothes didn't smell like cigar smoke at all. He looked
- 55:13Speaker 8: as if he had taken off his clothes, taking his
- 55:16Speaker 8: clothes off and hung them up at a hotel while
- 55:19Speaker 8: he was laying up with his mistress. He said, I
- 55:22Speaker 8: jumped to unreasonable conclusions, but he woke me up. Am
- 55:26Speaker 8: I wrong to assume that he cheated on me? Well,
- 55:29Speaker 8: you know, come on, the stuttering, the stud of stutter,
- 55:32Speaker 8: all of that. That's almost like a dead giveaway right there.
- 55:35Speaker 8: And no, you're not wrong. You're not unreasonable with your conclusions.
- 55:40Speaker 8: You know, you're right, you know, the saying there's nothing
- 55:42Speaker 8: open at that time of morning but legs. But to
- 55:47Speaker 8: his point, like you said, or to your point, like
- 55:50Speaker 8: you said, he woke you up with these bad, bad lies.
- 55:53Speaker 8: He was at a club that's been closed for water
- 55:56Speaker 8: damage since last summer. Come on, he's so busted. He
- 56:00Speaker 8: didn't have any cigar smoke smell. You know a lot
- 56:03Speaker 8: of people when when they smoke and stuff like that,
- 56:05Speaker 8: it's in their clotheses, in their hair. Come on, dude,
- 56:10Speaker 8: no one's picking up any of these stupid lies you're
- 56:12Speaker 8: putting down. He may as well tell you the truth
- 56:15Speaker 8: at this point. That's what I say, tell you the truth. Uh,
- 56:19Speaker 8: you know, at this point this stuff may break up
- 56:22Speaker 8: his marriage. But that's the risk he took when he
- 56:25Speaker 8: came home at two am with this pack of stupid lies.
- 56:28Speaker 8: He should have called Steve. That's what he should have done, Steve.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I you know what, man?
- 56:34Speaker 9: You know?
- 56:34Speaker 1: Do you know? Dudes? Dudes, dudes, bruhs, Listen to me
- 56:41Speaker 1: what I can't help you. If he's stupid enough, I'm
- 56:46Speaker 1: not gonna be any help you. I can't save this
- 56:50Speaker 1: one dog. Y'all been married for eleven years. Y'all got
- 56:55Speaker 1: separate spaces in the house, you know, y'all in help
- 57:00Speaker 1: y'all cope with the day to day's stress of marriage. Day,
- 57:03Speaker 1: today's stress of marriage. Damn doog? I mean this is
- 57:07Speaker 1: not good. Marriage has his challenges, admittedly, but every damn
- 57:13Speaker 1: day to the point where y'all got separate spaces in
- 57:17Speaker 1: the house. And man, it might be time for y'all
- 57:21Speaker 1: to just consider getting nobody this here, because this is
- 57:24Speaker 1: every day. You rather be at the house. You play
- 57:28Speaker 1: cards once a month with some friends, but you rather
- 57:30Speaker 1: be at the house reading books and watching movies. He
- 57:33Speaker 1: ain't nothing like you, so he want to go outside.
- 57:36Speaker 1: And that's what the guy is asked in trouble. So
- 57:42Speaker 1: now what do you say? What got him in trouble?
- 57:45Speaker 1: Is even told you a string of bad lies and
- 57:48Speaker 1: he thank you stupid. So it's two am. Your husband
- 57:52Speaker 1: came home Sunday morning. I was knocked out and he
- 57:57Speaker 1: woke me up to tell tell me some bad lies.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Why did you wake her up? Dog? If you coming
- 58:08Speaker 1: in for some dirt at two a m. Get in
- 58:13Speaker 1: the house, be quiet, shut your mouth, go to bed.
- 58:20Speaker 1: What's the matter with you? Why did you wake her up?
- 58:23Speaker 1: And then when you woke her up you had a
- 58:28Speaker 1: you dumb look, I got you gonna lie, But damn dog,
- 58:35Speaker 1: you gotta organize the lie. The lie has to make
- 58:38Speaker 1: some siper. You have to organize your organize. Yeah, you
- 58:43Speaker 1: can't te random lies are easy to tell apart. You
- 58:47Speaker 1: must categorically organize with a timeline and some facts to
- 58:55Speaker 1: the lie. Every lie works that has facts in it. Oh,
- 59:01Speaker 1: the only lie that works is the lie that has
- 59:06Speaker 1: truth in the lie. One more time, one more time,
- 59:11Speaker 1: A lie works, and all lies that are good lies
- 59:16Speaker 1: have truth in it. Everything can't be a lie, your
- 59:22Speaker 1: dumb ass, You're set up in the here. You said
- 59:29Speaker 1: you woke your girl up. You look like you just
- 59:31Speaker 1: got off work. Your clothes were not wrinkled. He was
- 59:35Speaker 1: full of conversation. He said he was drinking after work
- 59:38Speaker 1: with a few of his co workers. He met up
- 59:40Speaker 1: with his doctor. Now right here, you're gonna need to
- 59:43Speaker 1: know who the coworkers were. You have to know your
- 59:46Speaker 1: doctor if you're gonna do that. And then he lost
- 59:48Speaker 1: track of time and he went to a cigar line downtown.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You already got he got to have at least passed
- 59:54Speaker 1: by the cigar line. That something.
- 59:58Speaker 8: All right, boy, this boy right here, All right, Steve,
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: twenty three minutes after subject is the lounge closed last year.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Morning show.
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: The subject is the lounge closed last year.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Now, let me tell you something. I'm not gonna be
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: able to help this man right here, and I'm gonna
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: tell you something else. I don't even want to because
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: if you're gonna come in here and you just stupid
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and you lie dumb, I can't help you now this
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: man has stayed out all night. They already got married
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: issues because she would rather watch movies and play cards
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: once a month and read at home. He liked to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: be out, and that's how he got in trouble. And
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: now he'dne told his wife a string of bad lies,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: and she ain't buying none of it, because the woman said,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: he thinks I'm stupid. So Sunday morning, two am, she
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: was knocked out. He came in the house. He woke
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: her up. Rule number one. If you come in late
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and she sleep, why would you wake up up?
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Why? Of course you done? And then he started and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: then he came in and told you a string of
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: bad lives. Now he looked like he had just gotten
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: off work. Dog, when you come in late at night,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: get them clothes off, Go take a shower, right, don't
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: even just let her hear the water run into anything,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: but don't wake up. His clothes weren't wrinkle, she said.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: He's sitting on the edge of the bed talking to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: a property. Clothes ain't wrinkle close enough to get smelled.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: He said. He started drinking after work with a few
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: of his coworkers. You got you gotta get them lined
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: up and he met with his doctor. You need to
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: get that line. He lost track of time and he
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: went to a cigar lounge. You gotta get that lined up.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: All this right now is not a bad lie unless
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: it's not categorically lined up and you have no facts
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: or truths in it. You can't tell a lie, all right.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I know for a fact here we go that the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: lounge he supposedly went to after midnight closes at eleven pm.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: That you got to get a new cigar lounge if
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you close, that's a but then and that closed at
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: eleven eight pm back when it was open, But it's
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: been closed since last summer because of water damage. I beat.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: He couldn't tell me any of the names of his coworkers. Dog.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: If you gonna say you was with some coworkers, organize it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Have some coworkers' names before you wake her up. Had
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the names have gone by the cigar out? Smoke a
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: cigarette in your car, get some odor on your clothes. Yes,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: puffing up in the car, keep them windows up. You
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: ain't got to do nothing else. Drive by the club,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: call somebody to make sure the club would go by.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Take a picture of anything. You ain't do none of this.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: He couldn't tell me because and then he studied when
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: you asked him which one of his doctors he was
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: hanging with. Now we got another problem. Cole got a
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: man that got some damn medical issues. How many damn
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: doctors you got?
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: But he was stuttering though he couldn't name any.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: One of his doctors. How many doctors? So now you
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: don't have the doctor's name. You ain't got the coworker's name.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: You'd have mentioned the club that's closed, and you ain't.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Having no sense to smoke a cigaret in your car
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on the way home, His clothes didn't smell like cigar smoked.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: He looked as if he had taken off his clothes
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and hung them up at the hotel while he was
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: laying up with his mistress. Lady foul assumption, He said,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I jumped to unreasonable conclusions. Well you know why she
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: did that, because you stupid, Because you didn't organize your
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: damn lie. You told a lie that ain't had no
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: truth in it. Coworkers you don't know their names. Doctor
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you don't know his name. You went to a cigar
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: loud that ain't even open. You smoked a cigar, but
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you don't smell like it. Boy, dumb, You just dumb
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: like a damn dough knob. And on top of all that,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you woke her up to tell this unfinished lie, this
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: underproduced lie, this lie. It ain't gonna get bought on Netflix.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You ain't gonna get on Hulu with this mess. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: have got to produce your lies better. You need to
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: hire a lie producer. That's what you need to do.
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: If you're not a line producer.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: No, a line producer track of all the costs of
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: a production. You need a lie producer. You need somebody
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: who can produce lies for you because you need to
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: the best. Am I wrong to assume he cheated on me? Lady?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: You are free to take this non non regulated, organized
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: lie in any direction you choose. You can say he
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: was out committing to murder if you want to. You
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: can say he was out digging ditches. You can say
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: he was out applying for a job in Nairobi. You
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: can tell it. You could do it, cause his lie
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: is unsubstantiated here with zero facts, Fellas, every lie must
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: contain truth.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: Listen to you, Okay, all right? Post your comments on

- 1:09:39Speaker 8: A man on social media needs some advice. He wants
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: to know Steve, is it okay to lie to his girlfriend?
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: All right, here we go.
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: This is from Jordan on Steve Harvey f Them. Jordan says,
- 1:09:57Speaker 8: my girlfriend and I have been together for about six months.
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: When we first started dating, I was hooking up with
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: another girl who's friends with both of us. I told
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: my girlfriend that I was kind of dating someone casually
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: when we first started seeing each other, but that I
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: broke it off when things look like they were getting
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: more serious between us, which is all accurate and truthful.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: I lied to her though, by telling her it was
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: someone she doesn't know, because I don't want it to
- 1:10:24Speaker 8: affect our relationship with our friend. So Jorda wants to know,
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: is this little lie acceptable to protect my girlfriend's feelings
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: and to not have her think anything bad about our friend.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: That's what he wants to know, to see perfectly what
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: that was? Perfect? That is perfect. I mean, I'm just
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the pride that I have to be that young and
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to think it out that there. Yes, shut your damn mouth,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you know, make you've already said it. You've already said
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: you were seeing somebody and then but you broke it
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: off when it got more sinous. But you didn't want
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to tell us who it was, and you don't have to.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: She's not gonna tell you everybody she been there. No,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: let's revert back to this Strawberry letter, because this is
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Uh. When you lie, your lie,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: in order for it to be effective, must contain some truth. Now,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: this young man right here has truth in this life.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I'm just so proud of you.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: You know, It's just.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I can't you know, I'm damn the emotional about it,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: because when I see somebody who understands the art of
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: what it is and how it's done, it's just it
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: just it warms. I mean, wow, thank you.
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: All right, Well take a breather. As we move on
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: to bow On, Steve Harvey f them both says I
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: was dating this woman for a few months. We had
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: sex maybe yeah, five times, and one of the times
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: we didn't have a condom, but she said she was
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: on the pills, so I didn't worry about it a
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: few weeks. A few weeks later, she and I meet
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: up and she tells me she's pregnant. I'm understandably freaking out,
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: but I decided to do the right thing and be supportive,
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: regardless of how our relationship works out or what she
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: did or what she decides to do. Then, earlier this week,
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: I got a text from a number I don't know
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: telling me she's manipulating me and that the baby isn't mine.
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: I really don't know what to do now. Should I
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: confront her and tell her about the text, or should
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: I just continue to be supportive and see what happened?
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: How do you mean? See what happened?
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: Though?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Listen to me. But you know if you have doubts,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you got to get it right. This got this got
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: blood tensit avel. Yes, yes, this got unity tests you
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: written all over. Now, be a man about it, because
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: if it's yours, you don't want to mistreat this in
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: any way. So be supportive. It's okay. You know she's
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: telling you it's yours. You have and you know what
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you did. You know the possibility is that for you
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to look at the time frame because at one time
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: you didn't was probably the last time, and now something
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: didn't happen. When you know how the months go, you
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: can count. So you got to be respectful because the
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: girl could be telling the truth now if you be
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: manipulated and it ain't chre after the when the babies.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But I don't know if you can do it now.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I think you gotta wait because the baby boys. But
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you got to get it. You got to get a
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: paternity test. You've seen enough episodes of moripo text jeeve,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: y'all got to be protected though, Man, what'd you say?
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: What about the text that it got saying it wasn't
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: that he's being manipulated.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: What you said from a number you don't know, So
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you don't know. The devil is busy on all on
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: all walks. It could be somebody try and destroy the girl.

- 1:19:47Speaker 8: right after this. You're listening.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: Morning show?
- 1:19:52Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are, last break.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Of the day. Yeah, Hey, Shirley, before we do this,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I got something really important I want to do for
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: a fe end of mine. I've been knowing this friend
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: of mine for a number of years. Man, I mean
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: just one solid. He's just a solid man. He lives
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: out in LA. Man, He's helped me so many times.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: His wife is forty two years old. Her name is Kitty.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I won't give their last name. I'm just gonna say Kitty.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: His wife's name is Kitty. She's forty two years old.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: She's with in stage kidney disease. Kitty has in stage
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: kidney disease. She's currently on dialysis, and the sister's not
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: doing well. When I tell you, this is a beautiful
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: woman mine. They have a family. They got eleven year
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: old daughter. This woman is beautiful inside and out. Her
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: husband is about the solid of a dude I've ever met.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: But Kitty's in really, really bad shape and she's in
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: urgent need of a kidney transplant. Reason I'm doing this
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: because this not only could help her, but so many
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: people out there. The waiting list and time for a
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: deceased kidney donation is very long, anywhere between six to
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: ten years in LA if you're waiting for a deceased kidney.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: But there are people who are compatible who could donate
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: a living kidney. Now. The reason I'm saying is this
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: is just a chance for some people to give back.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: There is a higher chance of dying on dialysis rather
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: than getting the kidney transplant. So sadly, Kitty's mom also
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: died from kidney failure last year. She was only fifty
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: eight years old. And Kitty has this, like I told you,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: eleven year old daughter named Kaylee, and she needs her
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: mom to live, and her husband needs his wife and
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: he's broken hearted about this. And as I was talking
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: to her, I just said I would do this. Therefore,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Kitty needs a living kidney donor to reduce the waiting time,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: and there are people who are capable bull of doing this.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Now there is an opportunity to give back and help
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Kitty by considering a living kidney donation now. In the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: right setting, kidney donation is a safe process with minimal risk,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: and the gift of life helps not just the patient
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: but also the family, society, humanity at large. It enriches
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: the life of not just the recipient but also the donor.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: If you want to learn more ways on how you
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: can help Kitty, I'm gonna call this help Kitty get
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: a kidney. That's what I'm gonna call this. If you
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: want to know more ways of how you can help

- 1:23:55Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: I just you know, this is the first time I've
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: personally known the family going through this. Me personally, I'm
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: pretty sure it's a common thing, but I've never been
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: touched by it personally, and so finally we found a way.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: You know, I'm in contact with them constantly and everything.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I've done everything I can possibly can, and now this
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: is all I got left is to use my radio
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: platform to save them. So that's what we got going.
