- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them more like theming bus things and it's to be true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve listening to going together for STU. Please, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join with me. You gotta turn. You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out, turnby, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water to the water. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby, daddy, I sure will come morning. Everybody, y'all
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man boy,
- 2:13Speaker 1: God has been good to me. Man, I can't really
- 2:17Speaker 1: count at all. You can't either, you know, it's all
- 2:20Speaker 1: in perspective. You really can't count all that God has
- 2:24Speaker 1: done for you if you look at every little thing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's unbelievable the things He's done for us. How many
- 2:31Speaker 1: times you know, we got through something without even talking
- 2:34Speaker 1: to him about it. He just he just blessed us
- 2:37Speaker 1: with it. How many you know? It's just it's so
- 2:40Speaker 1: much that the fact that you wake up in the morning,
- 2:43Speaker 1: the fact that you still have a place to stay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the fact that you know may be struggling out here,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but guess what, you still going to work. You you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you live in check the check, but but you're making
- 2:53Speaker 1: it all. You got all the plates spinning. You know
- 2:55Speaker 1: it's hard. You got a lot of plates spinning, but
- 2:57Speaker 1: you keep him up there somewhere. Every now, I near
- 2:59Speaker 1: one break, but he put two more back up there
- 3:01Speaker 1: to look a little bit better. And you got to
- 3:02Speaker 1: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:06Speaker 1: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:15Speaker 1: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:18Speaker 1: We talked about this oftentimes, but I don't want to
- 3:20Speaker 1: try another angle with you to day. You know, maybe
- 3:24Speaker 1: it's you. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Maybe it's no external force that's at fault, like you
- 3:34Speaker 1: keep making the excuse to be. You know, so many
- 3:38Speaker 1: people I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have
- 3:42Speaker 1: done that, I would have been further along. I wasted
- 3:46Speaker 1: all my time, my years with this man, and he
- 3:49Speaker 1: did this, and I could have been here, and I
- 3:51Speaker 1: could have been there, and this woman she did this
- 3:54Speaker 1: to me. If she hadn't have done that, I could
- 3:57Speaker 1: have been here, and I could have been there. Maybe
- 4:00Speaker 1: it's you. Maybe it's not really that external force that
- 4:05Speaker 1: you keep making it out to be. See, I've done
- 4:09Speaker 1: this to myself before. Once again, I'm talking to you
- 4:13Speaker 1: about something I know about. I've done this to myself before.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I've had the reason I wasn't where I wanted to be.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I had it figured out as some external force. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: had worked it out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Because if so and so or if this hadn't happened,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and if they hadn't have done this, I would have
- 4:37Speaker 1: been further along up the road. That's what I was saying.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But WOLDO hold on that? But I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that, try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you looking at in
- 5:25Speaker 1: that rear view mirrors where you're passed or should have passed,
- 5:28Speaker 1: something you should have moved on from. All you're doing
- 5:32Speaker 1: is looking in that rearview mirror at what happened back there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:54Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:08Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:10Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or guess what. Guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:24Speaker 1: gone to God and godd and forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I
- 6:36Speaker 1: heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and
- 6:39Speaker 1: say something that really really struck on. You keep drinking
- 6:43Speaker 1: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. He said that.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking
- 6:54Speaker 1: the poison waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is
- 6:59Speaker 1: poor to you. You know, if hatred is poison to you.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Unforgivingness when you won't forgive a person, that person could
- 7:12Speaker 1: be going on with their life, made the right with God.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Don't know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life now.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You make adjustments every time you see them, and it
- 7:21Speaker 1: takes energy. Man, it takes so much energy to hate.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It takes so much energy not to forgive too. That
- 7:29Speaker 1: ain't come in the room. You got to avoid them.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Stay over here. Oh here they come. Now you got
- 7:34Speaker 1: to make a situation over here. They come into the house.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Its family reunion. Oh here they come. And where they're
- 7:40Speaker 1: gonna be in the basement. I'm going up on the
- 7:42Speaker 1: third floor. I want to go ahead and get some barbecue.
- 7:44Speaker 1: She out there at the barbecue, staying, oh lord, I
- 7:46Speaker 1: don't want a barbecue. I just eat to take the salad.
- 7:48Speaker 1: People man take themselves all out of position, trying to
- 7:52Speaker 1: make adjustments, when if you it would simplify your life
- 7:57Speaker 1: if you would let just let it go. Maybe you
- 8:00Speaker 1: ain't where you need to be because of them external
- 8:03Speaker 1: forces altogether. Maybe you're not where you need to be
- 8:07Speaker 1: cause of you. Because you won't let it go, you
- 8:11Speaker 1: won't move forward. Look at this, ladies. Let's say you've
- 8:15Speaker 1: been in a situation with a man for years. It
- 8:19Speaker 1: didn't work out for whatever the reason, it just didn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: work out. I got, I got what you said he did.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I got what he did, I got all of that, YadA,
- 8:28Speaker 1: YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God get
- 8:33Speaker 1: you through it? Did not he allow you to survive it?
- 8:39Speaker 1: I got you, got some cuts on you, I got
- 8:42Speaker 1: you been a little bit bruised. But did he not
- 8:45Speaker 1: get you through it? So, now that he's freed you
- 8:49Speaker 1: from it, now he didn't went on. He got a
- 8:51Speaker 1: whole other family over that somewhere. He now he trying
- 8:54Speaker 1: to make it right because maybe he learned the mistake
- 8:57Speaker 1: he made and now he trying to be a better man.
- 8:58Speaker 1: He just trying to get it right now. But you're
- 9:01Speaker 1: sitting there holding onto it. You're drinking the poison, waiting
- 9:05Speaker 1: on your enemy to die. So now instead of you
- 9:08Speaker 1: enjoying the blessing of finally being free from a situation
- 9:11Speaker 1: that was not healthy for you. You create an even
- 9:14Speaker 1: more unhealthy situation in your mind by hating, by having
- 9:18Speaker 1: revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face. Maybe
- 9:23Speaker 1: you're even doing something to the other situation to make
- 9:26Speaker 1: sure they struggle. Oh man, you're drinking the poison, waiting
- 9:30Speaker 1: on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where you
- 9:33Speaker 1: ought to be in life, not because of your external forces,
- 9:36Speaker 1: but maybe it's you. If you don't let it go,
- 9:41Speaker 1: it's gonna be hard for you to go. You can't
- 9:44Speaker 1: keep driving your car looking in the rear view mirror.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the other person.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Forgiveness is for you to show. Ladies and gentlemen, it
- 10:03Speaker 1: is about time to get it started. No more messing around.

- 13:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Yes, all right, fresh back from vacation, here
- 13:56Speaker 1: we go, Jeanette and Tucker. Georgia says, I'm a thirty
- 13:59Speaker 1: four year old woman that thought she was dating a
- 14:02Speaker 1: thirty six year old man for almost a year. Three
- 14:04Speaker 1: weeks ago, out of the blue, he said he was
- 14:06Speaker 1: having back surgery, so I told him I would be
- 14:09Speaker 1: there for him. He said he had a private duty
- 14:12Speaker 1: nurse that is staying with him and his insurance provided it.
- 14:16Speaker 1: After his surgery, I tried to visit him in the
- 14:18Speaker 1: hospital and I was told he could only have one
- 14:21Speaker 1: visitor at a time and his girlfriend is staying with him.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was so mad and hurt. Do I let him know?
- 14:29Speaker 1: He hurt me, or walk away quietly? Well, I mean
- 14:35Speaker 1: you you going to let him know he hurts you.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You go, you're gonna tell him, you know, for your
- 14:39Speaker 1: own closure purposes. You could have told me you had
- 14:42Speaker 1: somebody I didn't have to find this way. But didn't
- 14:45Speaker 1: you know? He back out? What's your trip in foe?
- 14:50Speaker 1: You know? Yeah, he can't do nothing. He can't do nowhere,
- 14:56Speaker 1: probably ain't gonna be able to work for a while.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Who's just going about to busy? Oh okay, Yeah, he
- 15:03Speaker 1: don't sound like thirty. He don't sound like a thirty
- 15:05Speaker 1: something though. He really don't sound like that where you
- 15:08Speaker 1: say that, well, let's say no to love. You ain't
- 15:10Speaker 1: say no Viale signals and the healthy after you part, yeah, part,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and you can walk away. He doesn't have to be quietly.
- 15:20Speaker 1: You can want make some noise, you know, all right?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Morgan and u Ypsilanti, Michigan, says, my mother recently moved
- 15:28Speaker 1: into a senior living apartment building, and I got a
- 15:30Speaker 1: call from the administrator to let me know that my
- 15:33Speaker 1: mother is seeing a married man and his wife has
- 15:37Speaker 1: threatened my mother. I called my mother to see what
- 15:40Speaker 1: was going on, and she said that the man comes
- 15:42Speaker 1: to see her, not the other way around. So I
- 15:45Speaker 1: need to talk to him, she said, the man shows her.
- 15:48Speaker 1: So it is what it is. How can I get
- 15:51Speaker 1: my seventy eight year old mother to behave you know
- 15:54Speaker 1: the rules? Baby? She behaved. She said me, eight rules
- 15:59Speaker 1: you want her to go by? She seventy. Well, there
- 16:03Speaker 1: are rules to this. I mean he is married married. Yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: but you don't think that. She just said, he chose me.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It is what it is, pretty, that's what she didn't
- 16:18Speaker 1: came away with. What you want to heart it, what
- 16:21Speaker 1: you want to do, what you've fin to call it? Man?
- 16:25Speaker 1: She said, may howl is man? Yeah, she didn't say yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 1: She all these old ass people like that. They they
- 16:34Speaker 1: make different rules when they get old. Say what they
- 16:37Speaker 1: want to say, do what they want to do, to
- 16:39Speaker 1: go where they want to go. You know, they want
- 16:41Speaker 1: to see you know, ninety day rule. Ain't got nothing day.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Ninety day rule is more like a ninety minute rule,
- 16:46Speaker 1: you know, nine time? Yeah? All right, So what so
- 16:55Speaker 1: she can't get her to behave to leave her mom alone?
- 16:57Speaker 1: You're saying what you want? What? Okay, n I put
- 17:02Speaker 1: it in the home. You ain't got too many votes. Wow,
- 17:07Speaker 1: Amelia dropped me off at the home. You can quit
- 17:11Speaker 1: talking to me. Amelia in Tallahassee says, I'm forty one
- 17:16Speaker 1: years old and my boyfriend it's fifty one and we've
- 17:19Speaker 1: been dating for six months. I put up with drama
- 17:22Speaker 1: from his ex wife for the first three months of
- 17:24Speaker 1: getting to know him. He was going through the divorce
- 17:26Speaker 1: when we met, and now it's final. His ex thinks
- 17:30Speaker 1: it's cheating, but he went to divorce court twice. Right
- 17:34Speaker 1: after I met him. He begged me to be patient
- 17:36Speaker 1: and stay with him, and recently she went to my
- 17:39Speaker 1: son's job and told him I took her husband. My
- 17:43Speaker 1: son has been on my case about it. Is it
- 17:45Speaker 1: considered cheating if he'd already filed, Look, you could look
- 17:52Speaker 1: if you if you're married, the party's gonna call it cheating.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Is a deal. When you file filing, the marriage has
- 18:04Speaker 1: been over by the time you file them. By the
- 18:08Speaker 1: time the court grants the divorce, it's been over even
- 18:13Speaker 1: longer than that. The marriage is over. It's over. We file,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we want to get out. Now we're waiting on some
- 18:23Speaker 1: paperwork from the court. It's over. You call it cheating
- 18:26Speaker 1: if you want to but hey, it's over you going
- 18:29Speaker 1: down the job telling this woman's son and all this here,
- 18:32Speaker 1: whatever it's filed, it's over her son works all right,
- 18:40Speaker 1: Joe punk ass son, wake up, get a life, thard
- 18:44Speaker 1: realizing this high go sometimes. Yeah, yeah, right with your mama, man, Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Moving on, Maria and Tennessee says,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I've been married three years to a great guy with
- 18:58Speaker 1: a big heart. But he's nice to everyone except his
- 19:02Speaker 1: own brother. We live in a townhouse with a one
- 19:05Speaker 1: car garage, and his brother is sleeping in our garage.
- 19:09Speaker 1: He's an alcoholic and he lost his job and his
- 19:12Speaker 1: wife from the drinking. Nobody in their family will take
- 19:16Speaker 1: him in, so my husband gave him a fan and
- 19:18Speaker 1: an air mattress for the garage. I want to offer
- 19:21Speaker 1: him our guest room, but my husband is dead set
- 19:25Speaker 1: against it. Should I overrule my husband and put his
- 19:28Speaker 1: brother in the guest bedroom. Your brother in the garage
- 19:32Speaker 1: for a reason, and your brother and brother, no brother
- 19:36Speaker 1: know something you don't know, ya, your brother, Your brother
- 19:41Speaker 1: had married you and is trying to protect his family.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Listen to me. This man don't care enough about his
- 19:49Speaker 1: own family to where he didn't lost his family and
- 19:54Speaker 1: his job. What makes you think he gonna come in
- 19:57Speaker 1: your house and care about your family when he didn't
- 20:01Speaker 1: give a damn about his own family. You leave your
- 20:05Speaker 1: brother alone. He cheating, He treating his brother as he
- 20:09Speaker 1: needs to be treated. Right now. If you put him
- 20:11Speaker 1: in the house, he ain't gonna ever leave, and he's
- 20:14Speaker 1: gonna mess his brother's house up. And a brother ain't
- 20:16Speaker 1: finished in for that. And you you're gonna regret that. Thanks. Yep,
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're gonna regret that. Lady. Yeah, you can't put him
- 20:27Speaker 1: between your marriage either. Yep. Mmmmmmmmm. Should she overrule her husband? Hell? No,
- 20:34Speaker 1: her brother and his brother in the guest room. No,
- 20:38Speaker 1: let us stand in a garage with that fan, that mattress.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That's the kind of hell he got. No a fan, yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: a fan and an air mattress. All right, thank you?
- 20:50Speaker 1: See Hello. Coming up next, we'll have some church complaints
- 20:54Speaker 1: from Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Right after this,
- 20:58Speaker 1: you're listening Dave Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:02Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anna's standing by with today's national
- 21:05Speaker 1: news and an entertainment news. Grandma going viral for wedding dress.
- 21:10Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of this at the top of
- 21:12Speaker 1: the hour. But right now it is Monday. It is
- 21:15Speaker 1: time for church complaints with Reverend Motown and Dick and
- 21:18Speaker 1: deaf jam in the year. So glad, grateful and arbitrriously
- 21:28Speaker 1: we are here to Inbiquify Ambique five and know that
- 21:36Speaker 1: we are the palliapatience moving in the right alleviation of
- 21:49Speaker 1: the things that we perpituate. Ah, I am here for

- 22:02Speaker 1: do this, let us begin, Go ahead, all right, passing,
- 22:10Speaker 1: let's get started. The church members got together and bought
- 22:14Speaker 1: you a role, but now it only goes to your
- 22:18Speaker 1: waist because they thought you would still be preaching on zoom.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They can get you the other half, but it's gonna
- 22:25Speaker 1: cost some money. Now what would you like for them
- 22:28Speaker 1: to do? Pass it? But right now I have preached
- 22:31Speaker 1: in a role in my thirty eight years in the
- 22:36Speaker 1: man strap, and I'm not going to begin preaching it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I wear my suits because my suits sending the message
- 22:45Speaker 1: that I want the people to get right. But what
- 22:49Speaker 1: you gonna We don't want this road to go to waist.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And it's a nice shot roll that stopped at the waist,
- 22:57Speaker 1: short roll you wear say you're not gonna You're not
- 23:02Speaker 1: gonna do this. Now, you're not not on We just
- 23:04Speaker 1: got that already, do you not. H Let's get down
- 23:10Speaker 1: the south Man step by. They complaining about they saying
- 23:13Speaker 1: that you anointed baby Travail with some ten W thirty
- 23:18Speaker 1: and motor all on the boy's forehead. It's just why
- 23:23Speaker 1: they want to They want to sue the church. Now
- 23:26Speaker 1: the ore got in the boy's eyes, Baby Travail. Now,
- 23:29Speaker 1: did you did you annoynt this baby with some ten
- 23:32Speaker 1: W thirty weight? All the announting with the aar was
- 23:37Speaker 1: made in the cross formation on his forehead. Yeah, the
- 23:42Speaker 1: baby Terrell's mittens got on his forehead and he stuck
- 23:47Speaker 1: the oar in his eye. Nah, how that's the church fault. Well,
- 23:54Speaker 1: let's go back. Did you use some ten W thirty weight?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it would ten W forty. I didn't want
- 24:07Speaker 1: the all to drip into the baby eye, so I
- 24:11Speaker 1: used a heavy weight. Once again, the baby mittens went
- 24:21Speaker 1: up in there and then he put the oil in
- 24:24Speaker 1: his eye. Not the church, I understand that. But if
- 24:28Speaker 1: he the baby wouldn't have got it in his eye.
- 24:30Speaker 1: If you wouldn't have used that. The baby wouldn't have
- 24:32Speaker 1: got it in his eye. He stoodn't have stuck it.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Damn mittens up there. I don't know who you're raising
- 24:39Speaker 1: your voice that, but all right, let me move on
- 24:43Speaker 1: the shouters of the church. The shouters would like to
- 24:46Speaker 1: use the church for a rehearsal on Saturday so they
- 24:49Speaker 1: can be good and ready for live services. So they're
- 24:54Speaker 1: asking you if it's all right they come in saurday
- 24:56Speaker 1: evening and practice shouting so they can have their shouting
- 24:59Speaker 1: right on sunndit. Oh, shouting rehearsals are being closed down.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Oh right, shout practice service, waiting till the Spirit moves
- 25:13Speaker 1: you correctly and in the right way. Don't come in
- 25:18Speaker 1: here with no pre shouts already set up. We don't
- 25:22Speaker 1: do that in here. We're moved only by the spirit,
- 25:26Speaker 1: only by the spirit. I keep a note of that.
- 25:29Speaker 1: All right now, would you be willing to make a
- 25:33Speaker 1: hospital visit to also? Also, I don't even know the who. No, no,
- 25:42Speaker 1: I don't do that. I don't do sick or shit
- 25:44Speaker 1: in well out right now, we had Deacon Carter, Deacon
- 25:49Speaker 1: Guard with It, Carter Jenkins, and Deacon Roy Thompson. While
- 25:54Speaker 1: riding the bus. They got into a big fight while
- 25:56Speaker 1: playing a game of that's my car. Uh even them
- 26:01Speaker 1: has a car, but they're not both in the hospital
- 26:03Speaker 1: for whupping each other behind on the bus. So we
- 26:07Speaker 1: are asking that you're going then grave for so I'm
- 26:10Speaker 1: not going down there due to COVID restrict you. I'm
- 26:14Speaker 1: using that as an excuse me. It's been lifted. They
- 26:17Speaker 1: have take members. You know, they have take some visitors now,
- 26:20Speaker 1: so I don't know what did you say has been
- 26:25Speaker 1: lifted or you can not go into the hospital, then
- 26:28Speaker 1: you can visit these two right here that you know
- 26:31Speaker 1: they're not in I just said I'm not going down
- 26:34Speaker 1: there due to COVID restricts. Okay, there's the same tone
- 26:37Speaker 1: you had anything with me. Now It's not gonna keep
- 26:42Speaker 1: happening now, but you keep doing it. But all right, now,
- 26:44Speaker 1: let me move along. The choir wants to raise money
- 26:49Speaker 1: to go into space. They want to be the first
- 26:52Speaker 1: choieter to go into space and sing Amazing Grace. The
- 26:57Speaker 1: problem here, the problem is it coust two hundred and
- 27:01Speaker 1: fifty thousand per person. They say they're trying to send
- 27:04Speaker 1: eight members from the choir and that that's two million
- 27:08Speaker 1: right there, pastor so uh, they want to start raising
- 27:12Speaker 1: money and of course they're asking you because you help
- 27:15Speaker 1: them do more to to help them get to space.
- 27:18Speaker 1: A version of amazing Gridge, don't even sound good here
- 27:22Speaker 1: on earth? No pass away. Now they're not bad. Now
- 27:29Speaker 1: they're not No no no no no no no no
- 27:31Speaker 1: no no, you don't spend two million dollars on they're
- 27:34Speaker 1: not bad? Okay, but but they're not bad though, past.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean you know they get once again, what are
- 27:44Speaker 1: you willing to spend two million on the And after
- 27:49Speaker 1: you say it, you say not bad? Do you bought
- 27:53Speaker 1: a house for two million, it wasn't bad. You went
- 27:59Speaker 1: on Vaca Haitian for two million and you final senses
- 28:04Speaker 1: is it wasn't bad. You understand, No, I understand whole
- 28:12Speaker 1: herd of they passed it. But now it's just something
- 28:15Speaker 1: that the choir is trying to do. That's all I'm
- 28:17Speaker 1: trying to ask you that have you heard a choir recently?
- 28:26Speaker 1: I haven't where they did sing on? Don't worry about
- 28:28Speaker 1: the major Have you heard, precious lord right? Have you
- 28:33Speaker 1: heard I'm climbing? Oh? Have you heard this little light
- 28:40Speaker 1: of mine? Light of man, I'm gonna let it. Wow,
- 28:43Speaker 1: are we trying to raise two million, a million, or
- 28:48Speaker 1: any dollars at all for what? I just see it?
- 28:53Speaker 1: All right, I pay two million for him to go
- 28:56Speaker 1: to space and don't come back. Alright, so bank, alright, Pastor,
- 29:05Speaker 1: we got to wrap it up. Coming up at the
- 29:08Speaker 1: top of the hour. Thank you guys. Coming up at
- 29:10Speaker 1: the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment the
- 29:12Speaker 1: National News for you right after this. You're listening to

- 29:42Speaker 1: America with her grandmother, and during the wedding scene, her
- 29:44Speaker 1: grandmother her granddaughter overheard her say, I've always wanted to
- 29:49Speaker 1: try on a wedding dress. See. Miss Tucker got married
- 29:52Speaker 1: back in nineteen fifty two, and back then it was
- 29:55Speaker 1: a time when black women were not allowed in bridal shops.
- 30:00Speaker 1: So she never got to experience the thrill of trying
- 30:03Speaker 1: on wedding gowns. Well, the family planned a surprise fitting
- 30:07Speaker 1: and she was a beautiful bride, Erica wrote, along with
- 30:11Speaker 1: video footage of her grandmother trying on dresses. Now, since

- 32:40Speaker 1: he's out. Did judicial system freed him? Yeah, I'm accepting
- 32:45Speaker 1: of that. I'm perfectly fine. It's our judicial system and
- 32:50Speaker 1: that's the way it operates. And so he's out, he's free.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Uh don't know if I'd go on tour. I'm well,

- 33:06Speaker 1: That's what the hell I wanted. All Right, we're moving on, Steve.
- 33:16Speaker 1: It's time for today's headlines, Ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne True,
- 33:20Speaker 1: thank you, and good morning everybody. Here we go with
- 33:22Speaker 1: another week at last count recovery teams in Serfside, Florida
- 33:26Speaker 1: have now dug ninety victims out of the rubble that
- 33:29Speaker 1: collapse that high rise condo building, so that leaves thirty
- 33:32Speaker 1: one people unaccounted for. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava says the
- 33:36Speaker 1: searches continue working day and night. This recovery is moving
- 33:40Speaker 1: forward with great urgency as we work twenty four hours
- 33:44Speaker 1: a day on the pile to recover victims and bring
- 33:47Speaker 1: closure to all of the families still waiting. I'd already
- 33:51Speaker 1: say that over fourteen million pounds of concrete and debris
- 33:56Speaker 1: have so far been moved from that site as they
- 33:58Speaker 1: search for victims. Investigators looking into the brutal assassination of
- 34:01Speaker 1: Hades President have reportedly led to a Haitian Florida doctor
- 34:06Speaker 1: under arrest a thirty three year old doctor named Christian Snome.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Hades Police chief says Snome high Colombian gunman through a
- 34:14Speaker 1: US based Venezuelan security company, and that the mission changed
- 34:17Speaker 1: from just arresting President Jovan Almy's to killing him, and
- 34:21Speaker 1: that Snome apparently wanted to be president himself. A total
- 34:24Speaker 1: of twenty six Colombians are accused, most under arrest I'm
- 34:27Speaker 1: dead still others on the run. FBI and Home Security
- 34:31Speaker 1: agents meanwhile helping the investigation, But the Biden administration at
- 34:34Speaker 1: this point anyway, not in favor of sending down any troops.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Republicans in Texas making another try at limiting access to
- 34:40Speaker 1: voting by holding a thirty day special session to get
- 34:43Speaker 1: the measure passed. Back in May, you may remember Democratic
- 34:46Speaker 1: lawmakers blocked the GOP's effort to pass new voting bills
- 34:49Speaker 1: by just walking out. Staging a walkout, say they didn't
- 34:51Speaker 1: have the numbers. Republicans want twenty four hour voting band,
- 34:54Speaker 1: they want driving dive through voting ban and the States
- 34:57Speaker 1: Republican Governor Greg Abbot defend end of those ideas on
- 35:01Speaker 1: Fox News Sunday, even comparing his state to President Biden's
- 35:04Speaker 1: home state. If you're doing drive through voting, there's going
- 35:07Speaker 1: to be electioneering. It could be on the bumper sticker
- 35:09Speaker 1: in the car right in front of you. It's far
- 35:11Speaker 1: easier to vote in the stead of Texas than it
- 35:13Speaker 1: is in Delaware. And yet nobody is claiming that there's
- 35:17Speaker 1: some type of voter suppression taking place in Delaware. Well,
- 35:19Speaker 1: the fact is that in the twenty twenty election, voter
- 35:21Speaker 1: turnout in Texas was sixty percent. In Delaware it was
- 35:25Speaker 1: seventy percent. If you haven't heard about it, here you go.

- 45:36Speaker 1: support I was so I was so tired of. You know, man,
- 45:41Speaker 1: it's hard to have your own tournament because you gotta
- 45:44Speaker 1: every hole is sponsored. And so many great sponsors were there, man,
- 45:48Speaker 1: with so many great products, but you got to try
- 45:51Speaker 1: all the cupcakes, all the pass all the drinks. Man,
- 45:57Speaker 1: they need a bathroom every hole. But they sponsor you
- 46:03Speaker 1: because you're doing good work. So that's yes. It was yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 1: and a nice surprise in that you cool all right? Well,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I like I said, yeah, what you got now? You
- 46:16Speaker 1: ain't no sigma, You ain't no signa cool, You ain't
- 46:25Speaker 1: no sigma. Let's go catch up. Hello, Oh I'm trying
- 46:29Speaker 1: to reach a Greg please. Yeah, this is he How
- 46:32Speaker 1: you doing? My name is Bernard five beta sigma. I'm
- 46:35Speaker 1: over pledged relationships? Uh huh uh? Giving you a call
- 46:39Speaker 1: to Dame man um you attended priv a m university?
- 46:43Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah? You am? I right? You attended, right, okay,
- 46:49Speaker 1: and for my understanding, you pledge five Beta Sigma and
- 46:52Speaker 1: fall of ninety one. That's correct, all right, that's the
- 46:56Speaker 1: that's the Theta chapter, correct, Yes, all right. Here's where
- 46:59Speaker 1: we're we're having some problems here going through the records, records,
- 47:03Speaker 1: actually looking at the records that we have here headquarters.
- 47:06Speaker 1: You're not actually an official member of five Beta Sigma.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I don't know what has taken place. But wait a minute,
- 47:14Speaker 1: what what do you mean or not a member? Looking
- 47:16Speaker 1: at our records here at national headquarters, it's indicating that
- 47:19Speaker 1: you're not an official member of five Beta Sigma. I
- 47:22Speaker 1: don't know what could have gone wrong with this? Now,
- 47:26Speaker 1: Now that ain't right, man, That ain't right, because see
- 47:28Speaker 1: depth of data is recognized nationally, so why wouldn't I
- 47:31Speaker 1: be nationally recognized. I'm not certain, sir. Maybe it's something
- 47:34Speaker 1: that took place on that that actual line of Fall
- 47:38Speaker 1: ninety one. We're actually going to have to do some
- 47:40Speaker 1: research on everything that's going on with your line as
- 47:42Speaker 1: well as the chapter. But how is that possible? If
- 47:45Speaker 1: they gave if they gave me a certificate in the
- 47:47Speaker 1: in the plaque and I got my pen and I
- 47:50Speaker 1: mean I'm a sigma. What you mean? Okay, sir, I
- 47:53Speaker 1: don't know what I'm looking at here, And and please understand,
- 47:57Speaker 1: I want to try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah,
- 47:59Speaker 1: we need to this matter. Who else is there somebody
- 48:02Speaker 1: there like a oversee uh maybe the head president or
- 48:06Speaker 1: your branch or something that I can talk to or something. Well,
- 48:08Speaker 1: I'm actually I am actually over pledged relations and I
- 48:12Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call personally so we can
- 48:14Speaker 1: try to rectify the matter. And it's gonna take us
- 48:16Speaker 1: some time to hiring this thing out. But what I
- 48:19Speaker 1: need you to do as at this point. Yeah, And
- 48:21Speaker 1: you know what the problem is that I'm noticing is
- 48:24Speaker 1: that all of the people that were on your line
- 48:26Speaker 1: they are official for some reason. Mister greg is an official,
- 48:31Speaker 1: so I want to I don't understand that because I
- 48:33Speaker 1: was the line president. So how how is everybody else
- 48:37Speaker 1: able to be a signa and not me when I
- 48:40Speaker 1: did all the paperwork that it takes to for the
- 48:44Speaker 1: process to be right. I don't understand it. So you
- 48:46Speaker 1: know what, brother, I can't call you brother for the
- 48:49Speaker 1: fact that you right now try me brother, because I'm
- 48:51Speaker 1: a signa. So here's what we're gonna have to do. Greg.
- 48:54Speaker 1: We're gonna have to get you to first of all,
- 48:57Speaker 1: if you're dealing with anybody alumni wise, asking that you
- 49:00Speaker 1: don't go to any meetings right now. We're also asking
- 49:03Speaker 1: that you don't wear any five beta sigma pal for Noel.
- 49:07Speaker 1: At this point, we want to make sure and get
- 49:09Speaker 1: clarity that you are definitely a brother A man. Man,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I am definitely a brother. Do you know what I
- 49:15Speaker 1: had to go through to get where I am today?
- 49:18Speaker 1: To be a signal? All the do y'all, y'all took
- 49:20Speaker 1: y'all dudes whatever to that. If you're taking my dudes,
- 49:23Speaker 1: you should be able to tell me yo, man um,
- 49:25Speaker 1: we got this going on, certain things that are going
- 49:28Speaker 1: on with your line. We need to we need to
- 49:29Speaker 1: check you. You took our money. That's the thing. I'm
- 49:32Speaker 1: seeing checks that have gone through for other people that
- 49:34Speaker 1: are on that line. I don't see your man, And
- 49:37Speaker 1: to this day, I'm like a lifetime member, So what
- 49:39Speaker 1: the hell are you talking about? I have no records
- 49:41Speaker 1: indicating that you're a lifetime member. That's what I'm saying, sir,
- 49:44Speaker 1: we got that dog. Somebody needs to tell me something today.
- 49:48Speaker 1: We're gonna try to get to the end of this
- 49:50Speaker 1: by the end of the week. It's gonna take no. No,
- 49:52Speaker 1: but no, but no, you're not understanding what I'm saying, man,
- 49:54Speaker 1: because I'm a signal to the heart. Dude. You know
- 49:56Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Y'all playing with my heart right now? Man,
- 49:59Speaker 1: ain't nobody to do that and get away with I
- 50:01Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. You know. Here's what we
- 50:03Speaker 1: can do. We can bring you back in and do
- 50:06Speaker 1: another pledging process. Pledge. Did you understand what you just
- 50:09Speaker 1: said to me? No? Man, that ain't happen. Dog. And
- 50:12Speaker 1: I've been through this already. Man, I'm not pledging. I'm
- 50:15Speaker 1: not signing my name on nothing else because I have pledged.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I need to get somebody on
- 50:21Speaker 1: the phone that can answer my question. I want to
- 50:23Speaker 1: know what's going on, okay right now? And I understand
- 50:26Speaker 1: you know the disbelief of what's going on. I really
- 50:28Speaker 1: do you obviously, so you are, brother. Brother, We're gonna
- 50:32Speaker 1: try to what year did you grow across? Did you
- 50:35Speaker 1: walk the fan? I mean, tell me what's going on? Brother?
- 50:37Speaker 1: I'm fall eighty nine, brother, And now what we're gonna
- 50:40Speaker 1: have to do right now is, first of all, no paraphernalia,
- 50:44Speaker 1: no name. You're trying to tell me that I can't
- 50:47Speaker 1: well what's nearest and dearest to my heart, next to
- 50:50Speaker 1: my wife and my child. You're telling me that I
- 50:52Speaker 1: can't grow around and proclaim what I am. That's like
- 50:55Speaker 1: telling me I can't be black? What the hell is
- 50:57Speaker 1: you're saying? And another thing we're going to get you
- 50:58Speaker 1: to do. Understand, you have a brand, a Sigma brand
- 51:02Speaker 1: that's going to have to come off until we until
- 51:04Speaker 1: we get this taken care of? What and then you
- 51:07Speaker 1: talk about them medical procedures? What are you saying? So
- 51:11Speaker 1: we cannot allow you to wear a brand representing five
- 51:15Speaker 1: Beta Sigma when right now you are not only you
- 51:17Speaker 1: can't five a lot that that brand to me, was
- 51:19Speaker 1: allowed to put the brand on me. Now I can't
- 51:22Speaker 1: be allowed to wear something I've been wearing for almost
- 51:24Speaker 1: fifteen years? Are you crazy? Come on, man, that's some crazy.
- 51:28Speaker 1: So we gotta get you to take your brand of
- 51:30Speaker 1: me until all of this brand? What the hell a
- 51:34Speaker 1: out man? This is some look here, brother, But what
- 51:37Speaker 1: Bernard is that what your name is? You need to
- 51:40Speaker 1: get somebody on this a minute. That's all right, I
- 51:43Speaker 1: know the president bill, how about that? I would just
- 51:47Speaker 1: call in and I'll figured out my bill. Right now,
- 51:51Speaker 1: we need you to take the brand off off you.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Come take the brand off of me. And if you
- 51:57Speaker 1: wanted that bad, come get it. That's what you do.
- 52:00Speaker 1: You are not a member of five Beta sick. I'm
- 52:02Speaker 1: don't give up you talking about dog. I am a member.
- 52:06Speaker 1: If you want something over here high land, your boy,
- 52:08Speaker 1: that's what you do, you bad, come do it. So
- 52:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you for the final time, do not wear
- 52:14Speaker 1: any paraphern Now you keep couldn't don't want to hear
- 52:16Speaker 1: that talking about no final. Let me tell you what's final.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I am a five Beta Sigma to the hard boom boom. Sir.
- 52:25Speaker 1: All I'm telling you is no more hurt and cover
- 52:28Speaker 1: that brand up until we here. Man, I'm gonna wear everything.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I got a hat. I'm annead of a matter of fact,
- 52:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna wearing hey just to get on yong Nurst.
- 52:37Speaker 1: You're gonna keep praying, covering up until we figured out
- 52:40Speaker 1: if you are sing no hand covering up you come
- 52:43Speaker 1: get it and tell then you better get away from me.
- 52:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about don't pull that brand up and don't
- 52:49Speaker 1: you wear no church no more? Me tell you something
- 52:51Speaker 1: I ain't covering. Come get it if you want it.
- 52:54Speaker 1: I got one man, I hard baby, this is boom fire.
- 52:57Speaker 1: You don't want none. You don't want none of them? Man,
- 53:01Speaker 1: I don't know what one more thing I need to
- 53:04Speaker 1: say to you? Are you really to say what you
- 53:05Speaker 1: got to say? You ain't getting. This is nephew Tommy
- 53:09Speaker 1: from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 53:12Speaker 1: by your point. Hello boy, y'all had me ready to
- 53:19Speaker 1: kill my man? Y'all boy, let out one more thing? Man?
- 53:24Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land? Greg?

- 54:07Speaker 1: right Bugle up, hold on tight. We got it for
- 54:10Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you if
- 54:13Speaker 1: you subject. Why won't he leave his wife? Why won't
- 54:19Speaker 1: his wife leave him? What was I thinking the same
- 54:23Speaker 1: thing though? Right here? Stephen Shirley, I'm forty four years old, fundamental,
- 54:29Speaker 1: I know what it is. Huh think I'm still in
- 54:33Speaker 1: vacation mode. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm forty four years old,
- 54:36Speaker 1: divorced and single for ten years. My husband divorced me
- 54:39Speaker 1: because I cheated on him and the man I cheated
- 54:42Speaker 1: with was married and he's still married. We met at
- 54:45Speaker 1: work and the rest is history. We are still in
- 54:49Speaker 1: a relationship and it's been ten years now. Our sex
- 54:53Speaker 1: life is great, but our relationship has a few challenges.
- 54:57Speaker 1: We have a six year old son and he has
- 54:59Speaker 1: two children with his wife. His wife is known about
- 55:02Speaker 1: us from the beginning due to my husband sending her
- 55:05Speaker 1: explicit text messages, hotel ex seats, and pictures of us together.
- 55:10Speaker 1: She knew about my pregnancy and is aware that her
- 55:13Speaker 1: husband spend times with our son, but she will not
- 55:17Speaker 1: leave him. He said he's staying because of the kids
- 55:20Speaker 1: and she will drag him through the mud if he leaves.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I really truly love this man. He met my parents,
- 55:27Speaker 1: my siblings, and all of my friends. Everyone knows he's married,
- 55:32Speaker 1: but no one makes a big deal out of it.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I had to threaten him with child support to make
- 55:37Speaker 1: him step up financially to provide for me and my son.
- 55:40Speaker 1: He has put our son on his insurance at work
- 55:43Speaker 1: as his third child. Nothing I ever do to this
- 55:46Speaker 1: man has made him angry enough to cut ties with me.
- 55:49Speaker 1: So I really feel that he loves me. I do
- 55:53Speaker 1: want more and have expressed that to him, but he
- 55:56Speaker 1: says he has too many obligations at home. I feel
- 55:58Speaker 1: like I have a boyfriend and everything is fine until
- 56:01Speaker 1: reality sets in and he leaves me to go to
- 56:04Speaker 1: his wife and other life. I'm sure his wife knows
- 56:08Speaker 1: where I live, but I don't understand why she's never
- 56:11Speaker 1: acted out over what I've done. He and I will
- 56:14Speaker 1: be connected forever because of our son, but I want
- 56:17Speaker 1: him all to myself. I'm getting too old for the
- 56:20Speaker 1: back and forth and he is too. Do I give
- 56:23Speaker 1: him an ultimatum? Or would that be selfish of me?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Would that be selfish of you? What? I think everything
- 56:33Speaker 1: that you're doing is selfish because all you're thinking about
- 56:38Speaker 1: is getting this woman's husband for yourself. You were selfish
- 56:42Speaker 1: when you cheated on your husband in the first place.
- 56:45Speaker 1: And I don't see how you don't see any of
- 56:48Speaker 1: this as selfish because it's all selfishness. I mean, now
- 56:51Speaker 1: you want him to leave and be with you, that's selfish, okay,
- 56:56Speaker 1: And he obviously doesn't want to leave his wife. Obviously doesn't.
- 57:00Speaker 1: He's giving you every excuse not you, and more importantly,
- 57:04Speaker 1: he doesn't have to at this point. He gets anything
- 57:07Speaker 1: he wants from you with the arrangement you already have,
- 57:11Speaker 1: and everyone is going along with it. You said, he's
- 57:14Speaker 1: met your family, he's met your friends, and they're cool,
- 57:18Speaker 1: No big deal. His wife is known about your affairs
- 57:21Speaker 1: since the beginning. She's still his wife. And no matter
- 57:24Speaker 1: what you do to him, you say, he won't leave you.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You two started this, you made a child, and now
- 57:29Speaker 1: you have a problem with it the way it is now, Well,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you know, too bad, because this is a mess, and
- 57:37Speaker 1: this is what messes look like. I mean, trust me, wife,
- 57:40Speaker 1: he isn't going anywhere. It's called revenge, okay, it's called
- 57:44Speaker 1: a woman scorned, it's called spite. You think she doesn't
- 57:47Speaker 1: know you want her to leave. She probably can't stand
- 57:50Speaker 1: her cheating husband. You know, didn't you say? He's sent
- 57:53Speaker 1: her explicit pictures, hotel receipts of you guys together. But
- 57:58Speaker 1: she's still not leaving him. That should tell you something
- 58:01Speaker 1: right there. So this is what it is and what
- 58:04Speaker 1: is going to be. Okay, you need to stop wishing,
- 58:07Speaker 1: stop waiting, stop hoping for him to leave her. It's
- 58:11Speaker 1: not happening. She's not going to leave him either. The
- 58:13Speaker 1: wokest moment you had and this whole entire letter was
- 58:17Speaker 1: at the end when you said you're getting too old
- 58:19Speaker 1: for this back and forth, and so is he. And
- 58:22Speaker 1: you're right, you're forty four. I say, girl, get your
- 58:26Speaker 1: child's support like you're doing. Please don't waste any more
- 58:29Speaker 1: time on him though. You need to get your self
- 58:31Speaker 1: respect back. You need to close this chapter of your life.
- 58:35Speaker 1: You need to walk away. Stop answering his calls. This
- 58:39Speaker 1: is not love. It's not even close. Of course, he
- 58:41Speaker 1: needs to pay continue to pay for the child and
- 58:44Speaker 1: take care of his kid. But other than that, you
- 58:46Speaker 1: need to move on with your life. Steve. To me,
- 58:50Speaker 1: this whole letter ain't got nothing to do with to do.
- 58:53Speaker 1: The whole thing to me is the woman who wrote
- 58:56Speaker 1: the letter and what she's settling for and what she's accepted,
- 59:02Speaker 1: and what she keeps trying to make or wrong or right.
- 59:07Speaker 1: And it can't work this way? Woman, What is wrong
- 59:12Speaker 1: with you? Your moral compass is so far off. You
- 59:17Speaker 1: keep trying to get something out of this that don't
- 59:21Speaker 1: be longed to you. You have nothing here. You're forty
- 59:26Speaker 1: four year old, divorce and single for ten years. Your
- 59:31Speaker 1: husband divorced me. My husband divorced me because I cheated
- 59:35Speaker 1: on him and the man I cheated with was married
- 59:39Speaker 1: and he's still married. Oh okay, and you're still cheating.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Do you understand you've never corrected any of your mistakes,
- 59:51Speaker 1: but you want stuff to right itself for you, but
- 59:54Speaker 1: you've taken no ownership. Look, everybody make mistakes, so I
- 59:57Speaker 1: ain't gonna beat you up about the mistakes, but damn,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you're supposed to grow from your mistakes, learn from him,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: ask for forgiveness, and move on. You've done none of that.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: You just keep repeating the same thing over and over
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: expecting a different results. Don't they say that's the definition
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: of insanity? Absolutely, Steve. Ain't that what they say? So
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: when we come back, we've finished talking to your crazy ass.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Ye all right, we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the our subject
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: why won't his wife leave him? We'll get back into
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject why won't his wife
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: leave him? Why won't his wife leave him? What? Forty
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: four years old? Divorced? Single for ten years? Your husband
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: divorced me because my husband divorced me because I cheated
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: on him. And the man cheated on him was married
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and he's still married. We met at work. In the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: rest is history. We are still in a relationship, so
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you're still cheating and it's been ten years now. Our
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: sex life is great, but our relationship has a few challenges.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Oh you mean the fact that he's married, that's the challenge. Okay.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: We have a six year old son and he has
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: two children with his wife. Oh you mean his family Okay.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: His wife has known about us from the beginning due
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to my due to my husband sending her explicit text messages, hotels, receipts,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: and receipts of us together your husband. See I didn't
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: catch that at first. Your former husband sent all this
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: information to your wife when he found out you was
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: cheating on him with her husband, He said her all
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the messages to receive and all this stuff. She knew
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: about my pregnancy and as aware that her husband spends
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: time with our son. But she's not. But she will
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: not leave him now. Surely said it best. And I
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: hadn't thought of this. This is revenge. Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I'm in this mass. I'm gonna make you wallow in
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: it with me. So I didn't even know that, But
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: women are capable of it. I'm leaving, I'm bouncing. We're
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: gonna do revenge somewhere else. We're nothing to sit up
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: in here. But Shirley made a valid point. He said
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: he's staying because of the kids, and she will drag
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: him through the mud if he leaves. Wait a minute,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. He already in the mud.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: It can't get any muddy earth now she will tell
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: his job and all this hell. But now she gonna
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: drag him through the mud. She giving this band hell.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I want you to understand it. I really truly love
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: this man. He's met my parents, my siblings, all my friends.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Everyone knows he's married, but no one makes a big
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: deal out of it. You know why they don't make
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: a big deal out of it because you don't don't see.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: You cool with stupid and they cool with you. So
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: if you cool and stuck on stupid, then we cool
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: being stuck on stupid for you whatever, that ain't what
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you like that everybody day. Don't make no big deal
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: out of it, Lady. I had to threaten him a
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: child support to make him step up financially provide for
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: me and my son. He has put our son on
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: his insurance at work as his third child. Nothing now here, depart.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Nothing I ever do to this man has made him
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: angry enough to cut ties with me. So I really
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: feel he loves me. So I know what you did.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you that in a second. Now he does
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: love you. You can be in love with two people,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: but he ain't leaving his wife. Though I do want more,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: and I have expressed that to him, So, and what
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: do you do bout it? Not? So I do want
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: more to expressed that to him again? So you're through
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: express it. I'm fitting to go home, but he says
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: he has too many obligations at home. Yeah, a wife
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: and two children. I feel like I have a boyfriend
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and everything is fine until the reality sets in and
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: he leaves me to go to his wife and his
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: other life. I'm sure his wife knows why I live,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: but I don't understand why she's never acted out over
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: what I've done. Let's go back to this line right here.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Nothing I ever do to this man has made him
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: angry enough to cut ties with me, So I really
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: feel like he loves me. I'm sure his wife knows
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: why I live, but I don't understand why she's never
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: acted out over what I've done. Because you've tried to
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: ruin them, and now she ain't gonna let you again,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: going back to what Shirley said, this is revenge. Oh,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: so you're gonna ruin me? You ain't fit to have him.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I just hold on to this regtive mess. Why I
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: give you anything? So now you can't win? He and
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I will be connected forever because of our son. But
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I want him all to myself. Wait a minute. He
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: has a wife and a family, and you cheated on
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: your family with this man, and you're still cheating with
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the man, this man and his family, and you want
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: him all to yourself. How do you keep thinking something right?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: It's fend to come out of all this wrong you've
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: been doing for all these years. I'm getting too old
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: for this back and forth and he is too He
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: too old for this? Do I give him an ultimatum?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Or would that be selfish of me? Hold on, let
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: me ask you something. What ultimatum you talking about? What
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you're finding threatening with? Oh? Oh oh, let me see
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: what what're you gonna do? Oh you're gonna tell his
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: wife about y'all. Oh, you're gonna call down on the
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: job and tell him he got a baby out of where? Like?
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Do you talk about the baby lady put on his insurance? What? What? What? What? What?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: What ultimatum threatened do you have? You ain't got nothing?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: What if she says I'm going to leave you? But
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: she ain't going Nowhere's she's really not. She just set
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: herself up to state she going where with who? Man?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: This man no, she ain't going nowhere. You have no ultimatum.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: The best thing, and let me tell you something else, lady,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: you will never have a man of your own ever.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Not doing this, you have doomed yourself to a lonely life, sister,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: unless you change your ways. You gotta just realize it's
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: a mistaken ask for forgiveness and get up and try again.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: That's the only thing I got for you. Leave them alone,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: all right? Thank you? Steve. Post your comments on today's
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. It's Steve HARBFM on Instagram and Facebook. Check
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. They're coming up
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: at four six minutes after Junior in Sports Talk right
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. There we go. Time
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: now for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: before we shut it? Now, we're in the NBA Finals. Yes, yeah,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: last night okay, Phoenix Suns Milwaukee Bucks score one twenty
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to one hundred Bucks win. Series is tied to two
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: one now Phoenix took the first two games. It's third
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: game at first home game in Milwaukee's eifitted their home court.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: So up the question we got on the table now
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: we're only rooting for Chris Paul. How many games I'm
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: pulling for Chris Paul. I think Milwaukee is gonna win
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: a minimum of two of them in Milwaukee. If they
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: win three, it'll be three two and they're gonna go
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: to Phoenix. Yeah. Yes, I'm just pulling for Chris Paul. Man,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I want Chris Paul to win. I thought it was
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: gonna be a tough series the way they played tonight
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and the last night, and the Bucks didn't shoot Wale
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: last night and they came out of that. But then
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Devin didn't play his best game either. He did, he didn't.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: He didn't play his best game. But I gotta say
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Yannis is probably the big man in the entire NBA.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: He had he was thirteen or seventeen from the field.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: All his points came at the basket. Yeah, you got
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: only seven foots at the three point list. He not
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: out there. He is not out there. He at the rim,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: dunk every chance he gets. That's what I like about Yannis.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I don't want to shoot, I want to dunk. Okay,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: that's what he did, man. So I'm excited for that series. Uh.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: And then I don't know if y'all saw this, Jay Tommy.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all saw the fight, but Justina
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: saw that. Did you saw that up? I don't know
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: what in the world I was looking at. When I
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: was looking at Conor McGregor leg, he broke his ankle
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: looked like more like a similar the ain't everything ankle? Yeah,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: ji jiji? When did you see him standing up on
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: He had to quit that No, no, no, Junior, when
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: he stepped backwards, Yeah, that leg popped. Yeah, he said
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: his ass down. He didn't get no, no, no standing
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: up on that dog that. I've never seen a nartell.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You gotta be you gotta be a tough guy to
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: do go go through something like that time. Have you
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: seen his leg? Man to like a twig when he snapped,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I saw it. I didn't like his reaction afterwards, what
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: he was saying the poor about his wife while he
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: was walking out the ring. I went over there and
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: stomped him in his head with it broke lay. I
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: couldn't can't say it. Oh, I was like that, Yeah,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: it wasn't It was nice. So they probably gonna have
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: another fight, is what they were saying, that they want
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to have another fight. This would be number four oh man,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: that's all. I don't think Connor McGregor could beat this kid, though,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: and let it go, Let it go, this Louisia and
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: a boy. I don't think he can beat this kid.

- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after. Right
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the seven Show. Well, Steve,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: seventy year old billionaire Richard Branson has made history. You
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: know it was yesterday when he was in space aboard
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: his very own spacecraft. Okay, yeah, it was a winged
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: aircraft with a single rocket motor, so Branson and his
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: five crew mates took off above New Mexico and experienced
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: three to four minutes in space, and then the crew
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: returned safely to Earth just over an hour after leaving
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the ground. So now there are more discussions about space tourism.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Would you guys, would you guys, would you do with Steve?
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Would you go to space? No? No, I just like
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: flying to what I want to fly on Earth. Ask
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: for people that that need to seek challenges and new horizons.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I'm still trying to get treated equally in this country
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: we got. That's all I'm trying to do. Damn, just
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: treat us the way we're supposed to be treated. I

- 1:16:37Speaker 1: meet the Martians and see how they are. They probably
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: don't like black people either, though, so I'm not gonna
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: stay here. They hate It's real, all right. More of
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: minutes after right after this, you're listening to show well,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the most adorable grandma is going viral for a wedding
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: dress experience. It all started after Erica Tucker shared on

- 1:17:09Speaker 1: may Orphelia Tucker, from Alabama, didn't have her traditional wedding
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: and that she wanted to try on a wedding dress.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Miss Tucker was watching Coming to America with her grandmother
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and during the wedding scene, her grandmother her granddaughter overheard
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: her say, I've always wanted to try on a wedding dress. See.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Miss Tucker got married back in nineteen fifty two, and
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: back then it was a time when black women were
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: not allowed in bridal shops, so she never got to
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: experience the thrill of trying on wedding gowns while the
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: family planned a surprise fitting. And she was a beautiful bride,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Erica wrote, along with video footage of her grandmother trying
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: on dresses. Now, since becoming a viral sensation, Miss Tucker
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: is loving all of the attention and if you've seen her,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: she's just as cute as pie, just beautiful in this
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: wedding dress. And now Erica says, all Missus Tucker is

- 1:18:39Speaker 1: commented and bought it through it. I want to say
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: big shout out to you. Look absolutely wonderful. I did
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: see the picture. You look stunning. Congratulations. Waiting all them

- 1:20:10Speaker 1: That's right, Jay, And we'll also have some closing remarks
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after from the one and only,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: our fearless leader, Steve Harvey. Right after this you're listening
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: to all right, guys, here we are our last break
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: of the day on this Monday. Absolutely. Yeah, it's been
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: a good day. It's been a good day. Started a
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: brand new week. Yeah. Back from vacation. A lot of
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: things going on, of course, And Steve, what you got
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: for us, I don't know, you know, I was pondering
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: a couple of things because I was on break and
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I've been doing my meditation most mornings. I've missed a
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: few because you know, had company over and everything, you know,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: but I'll i've been I've been paying attention closely about
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: my spiritual relationship. And you know, I've never really been
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: one to tell a person which faith to choose. That's
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: that's not my business. I don't you know, it's not
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: my job. Whatever your faith is, it's fine with me.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: You know, Jehovah, witness, you seven day of nas you Catholic, you,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you know, whatever, you know, Muslim, all all of it
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: is about faith. You know, the which day you go
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: down there in worship Jewish, which you observed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, whatever,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: you know, it's the observance that matters to most. To me,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: I was talking to a young person about faith and
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: they were explaining to me how mister Harvey, I've heard
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: you talk about faith, but I was thinking there's more
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: work related. I said, well, it's definitely work related, young man,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: because faith without works is dead. But work without faith,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I don't know how that works either. See, faith without
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: works is dead. So once you do that, you can
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: flip that easily and assume that the one without the
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: other is no good. That's what it actually means to me.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Faith without works is dead. You need them both one.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: If any part of that equation is missing, it won't
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: be successful. A times be equals c Now, if you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: don't want to throw the being that you ain't gonna
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: get to see, you know, it's just it's just the equation.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: But the young man went on to tell me, he said, well,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I think it's more work than it is faith. I said, well, son,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I don't understand why you're saying that, because you can
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: work really, really hard. But let's just say you start
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to lose faith. What is the motivation to work harder
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: if you've lost the faith? Because faith is the belief
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: in things that you cannot see. And if you do
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: not maintain your faith, that is strictly the belief in
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, what are you working for?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: And the back and forth with this young man was
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: really interesting because he was trying to make one more
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: significant than the other. And the message that I'm trying
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: to get through to day, to him and to anybody listening,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you need them both. You're not going to make it
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: without either one of them. Don't you understand that faith
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: is such a key component in your spirituality. Faith that
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: such a key component in your life. It's a very
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: very daunting thing to do is to complete this thing
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: called life successfully, and success has to be determined by you. Look.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Success is not money or fame. Let's stop thinking that.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: I don't want you to think that. I'm preaching that
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to you. Success is living in your God given gift
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: to your fullest. If your gift is teaching, you should
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: be the best teacher that you can be. If nursing
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: helping people is your gift, then you should be the
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: best nurse and help people the best caregiver. If watching
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: people's children daycare, if that's your gift, you should have
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the best possible daycare you could possibly have. I don't
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: care what it is you're doing. That's what success is.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: It's not fame or money. I know a lot of
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: people who are extremely wealthy and very unhappy people, very
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: very unhappy. I know some people who make average incomes
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: man and just as happy as they can be. Man.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: And you might not think that because you got more
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: money and you think, man, I want this, this, this,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: and this. You're not them. You're not them. I had
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: one of the best times of my adult male existence
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: as a black man when I had thirteen of my
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: fraternity brothers come and visit me over the break and
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to sit down with these men that I formed a
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: friendship with forty seven years ago. Forty seven years ago
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: we became friends and to still have that friendship. And
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: one of my friends was here that I've been friends
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: with sixty years. And to sit with them who knew
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: me long before I had become any of this, and
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: to exchange the stories and then remind me of things
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: that they have. They all had a special moment that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: they remembered with me, and some of them I remember
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: that some of them they refreshed my memory for man.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: To sit with them, I had the best time. And
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: they were some of the best men I've ever known. Man.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: They just great dudes. Two of them have become pastors.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You know. They in the insurance business, They in the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: trucking business, They in finance, they own digital companies. Man,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: these guys man really really solid guys and they become
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: very successful within their gift. Now who's the most famous me?
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: But what they were. They taught me a lot about friendship.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: They taught me a lot about love, They taught me
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: a lot about family. And I listened to their stories. Man,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I was so happy for them. But listen to me,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: every last one of them. The common thread between all
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: of us was the measure of faith. We all consistently
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: talked about faith and how important faith was in our
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: journey to become who we all were today. Faith without
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: works is dead. Works without faith is dead. They go
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: hand end in hand, one without the other. En y'all
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: have a great thing. We'll see y'all tomorrow. Talk to God.
