Smart Recovery Program with Michael Schut
Michael Schut, Parent Support Specialist in the Children Youth and Families Division, Department of Family Services, provides Parent Support Services to fathers and mothers who are engaged in risky substance use or are struggling with addictions to drugs and/or alcohol. These Parent Support Services include Individual Peer Support for parents, Consultation and Training for staff, and Self-Management and Recovery (SMART) Groups for parents and families. He is the facilitator of this local chapter of this National Addiction Recovery program.
