- 2:05Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 2: here it is today, got a good one for you today.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Here's the information that came to me today. When God
- 2:20Speaker 2: created you. God created you as a work of art because,
- 2:29Speaker 2: like I said, we are all a piece of Him.
- 2:31Speaker 2: He created all of us as in his own image.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So all of us are this very unique. Each person
- 2:39Speaker 2: is very very unique, down to a very fine details.
- 2:44Speaker 2: No one is the exact same. Now, you meet a
- 2:46Speaker 2: lot of people that's very similar to you. You runn
- 2:48Speaker 2: into people who have a bunch of likes that you like,
- 2:51Speaker 2: shared dislikes. You know, you got a lot in common
- 2:53Speaker 2: with people. But nobody is exactly like you. And the
- 2:57Speaker 2: reason you know that is because of fingerprints. How is
- 3:00Speaker 2: it that this God is so imaginative, he's so dead
- 3:07Speaker 2: on that no two fingerprints are alike. How in all
- 3:12Speaker 2: the FBI criminal everybody in the database, no two fingerprints
- 3:17Speaker 2: are alike. That's how unique God made you. That's a
- 3:20Speaker 2: powerful thing to come to the realization of that you,
- 3:23Speaker 2: in some very small way, are so different from everyone else.
- 3:28Speaker 2: That's how special God is. But that's how special he
- 3:31Speaker 2: made you. So you are this creation. You are this
- 3:36Speaker 2: work of art. God said in his word that he
- 3:40Speaker 2: created us, and he came to us so that we
- 3:44Speaker 2: could have a life and have it more abundantly. Now okay,
- 3:49Speaker 2: now let's just start right there. You are created in
- 3:54Speaker 2: God's image. You are very unique. Proof, your fingerprint is
- 3:58Speaker 2: like no one else is living amazing. He'd have done
- 4:00Speaker 2: over six and a half billion people and ain't duplicated
- 4:03Speaker 2: the same finger prayer, Ah man, come on now, okay.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So now he's created you to be something with this
- 4:12Speaker 2: gift he's given you that he can expose to the world,
- 4:16Speaker 2: that he can show off to your circle of friend
- 4:18Speaker 2: that whatever your world is, however big it is, and
- 4:20Speaker 2: it doesn't matter about you becoming famous in your world.
- 4:23Speaker 2: He wanted to be able to show you off, to
- 4:25Speaker 2: floss you, to show the peace of you that has
- 4:31Speaker 2: Him in it. Okay, that's what you were created for.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Now since God wants you to have a life of abundance,
- 4:38Speaker 2: that means everybody. Here's the news that God has blessings
- 4:43Speaker 2: designed specifically for you, and the moment you were created,
- 4:48Speaker 2: he started sending them your way. Here is the good news. Here,
- 4:53Speaker 2: that's the good news. Here is the news. We gotta
- 4:55Speaker 2: be aware of you. I. We are the only ones
- 5:02Speaker 2: that can turn back the blessings. Drum rope. Oh newsflash.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The moment we were created in his special way for us,
- 5:16Speaker 2: God started shipping the blessings that would allow us to
- 5:20Speaker 2: have this life of abundance that He wants for us,
- 5:22Speaker 2: that would have us to be able to accumulate and
- 5:25Speaker 2: acquire and develop the gifts and talents that He's bestowed
- 5:29Speaker 2: upon us to show off in the world that we
- 5:31Speaker 2: are created to be in. He sent them on the way.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Oh newsflash, you, I, we are the only ones that
- 5:40Speaker 2: can turn back the blessings. See what you're talking about?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Bout that because of our attitude, we directly affect our altitude.
- 5:52Speaker 2: So our attitude, y'all determines how high we go. You
- 5:57Speaker 2: got a bad attitude. I got low self esteem. You
- 6:01Speaker 2: have low aspirations, you have low tolerance for people. You
- 6:08Speaker 2: have a low relationship with your creator. You have low
- 6:12Speaker 2: time on the meter of prayer. You have low will.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Guess what low altitude? You are the only one that
- 6:22Speaker 2: can turn back your blessings. Now the way to get
- 6:26Speaker 2: your blessings sent and you stop blocking them and turning
- 6:30Speaker 2: them back. You have to change your mind. You have
- 6:34Speaker 2: to get into receivership mode. You have to be ready
- 6:38Speaker 2: and willing to do just a couple of things to
- 6:42Speaker 2: get the blessings sense your way. First of all, go
- 6:45Speaker 2: to God, who is your creator? Who made the fingerprint
- 6:49Speaker 2: that you have? Man, I can't even get past of
- 6:53Speaker 2: what I just tripped on right here. He has made
- 6:56Speaker 2: you so specific, No two fingerprints arelike out of the
- 7:00Speaker 2: six and a half billion people that He's created, ain't
- 7:03Speaker 2: no two fingerprints alike. You can't tell me God didn't
- 7:06Speaker 2: create you to make you special. With that in mind,
- 7:11Speaker 2: with your uniqueness, talk to the God you serve the
- 7:16Speaker 2: creator and find out what he created you for. It's
- 7:21Speaker 2: a very simple prayer. It's God. I know that I'm
- 7:24Speaker 2: made by you. I've been struggling with the who I
- 7:27Speaker 2: am and the what I am. I do not really
- 7:30Speaker 2: know what my mission is. I have not figured it out.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Can you help me figure that out today? And he
- 7:36Speaker 2: will start sending the answers. But let me give you
- 7:39Speaker 2: a couple of jumpstarters. First of all, identify your gift, Steve,
- 7:44Speaker 2: what gift? The gift that God gave everybody when he
- 7:47Speaker 2: created us with these fingerprints. See, he not only gave
- 7:51Speaker 2: you your own fingerprint, he gave you your own fingerprint
- 7:54Speaker 2: because that's the imprint you will put on the world
- 7:57Speaker 2: that we live in today. Yours is uniquely yours, because
- 8:00Speaker 2: that fingerprint is the imprint that you will put on
- 8:03Speaker 2: the world when you're gone. So now, there's got to
- 8:07Speaker 2: be something great in you, and you know it. That's
- 8:10Speaker 2: why you keep asking the question, what is it? It's
- 8:12Speaker 2: gotta be more to life than this. I can't tell
- 8:14Speaker 2: you how many times I asked my God that. But
- 8:17Speaker 2: let me tell you what I found out. If you
- 8:18Speaker 2: identify your gift, you start the process. Steve, what gift
- 8:22Speaker 2: you keep talking about? I keep talking about that gift
- 8:25Speaker 2: that God gave you. Because God, just like he gave
- 8:27Speaker 2: you them fingerprints. He never ever created a soul that
- 8:30Speaker 2: he didn't give a gift or talent to the gift
- 8:33Speaker 2: and the talent is the same thing. The gift and
- 8:35Speaker 2: the talent is the same thing. What is that simple?
- 8:39Speaker 2: It is the thing that you do the absolute best
- 8:45Speaker 2: with the least amount of effort. See, now we go
- 8:47Speaker 2: back to one of them principles. That's the same Steve,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you done said that a thousand times on the radio.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I'm trying to get another way to get you to
- 8:53Speaker 2: understand that. But it's your gift, your God giving. Now,
- 8:56Speaker 2: your gift and talent may be very similar to someone else,
- 9:01Speaker 2: but your fingerprint that you're gonna leave with it your
- 9:05Speaker 2: journey through life is gonna be totally different. Beyonce's gift,
- 9:08Speaker 2: God of the worst she is. You may be able
- 9:10Speaker 2: to sing out saying Beyonce or sing just as good
- 9:13Speaker 2: as Beyonce. But guess what, that ain't your fingerprint. You
- 9:17Speaker 2: ain't meant to be her. Maybe your singing gonna go
- 9:19Speaker 2: somewhere else. But you first got to identify the talent.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And the talent is always not in entertaining. In sports,
- 9:27Speaker 2: the majority and the greatest talents have nothing to do
- 9:31Speaker 2: with entertainment of sports. Nothing. What is it that you
- 9:34Speaker 2: do better than anything else that you do without any effort?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Do you counsel? Do you teach? Do you draw? Do
- 9:41Speaker 2: you design? Do you worship? Do you Are you a
- 9:46Speaker 2: nurturer or you have nursing skills? Whatever that is, Go
- 9:50Speaker 2: find that first. That's the starting point. Thank God for
- 9:54Speaker 2: that right there, and the rest will start to come.
- 9:56Speaker 7: And to you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Your listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, anybody else that's listening
- 10:08Speaker 2: this show right here. I don't know what to tell you.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It's just really really good. Nothing the others. Now, I
- 10:15Speaker 2: got no complaint, but if I had to pick one
- 10:17Speaker 2: to listen to, I do what you doing this morning?
- 10:20Speaker 2: Thank you? You made the right choice. Ain't no doubt
- 10:23Speaker 2: about it. Ain't no doubt about it. Oh you had
- 10:26Speaker 2: a choice, but you picked us. So since you picked us,
- 10:29Speaker 2: here we go one, two, one, two three. Folk, You
- 10:35Speaker 2: picked us. We must be on one cause you picked us.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Ready to have some fun? You picked us?
- 10:45Speaker 4: Why?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Oh why you picked us? Oh? We must be on
- 10:51Speaker 2: one you cause you picked up ladies and gentlemen. You
- 10:54Speaker 2: picked us that was the song of choice this morning.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Why I have no idea? Charliet Berry calling for real
- 11:02Speaker 2: Mississippi Monica Junior, government name, kill Lewan's Space, owner of
- 11:09Speaker 2: KLS Enterprises, and the legend that is Nephew Tunney Junior.
- 11:17Speaker 2: What's on your mind this morning?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Can I talk to about saw Monk?
- 11:19Speaker 8: I just need a little bit of motivation, some understanding
- 11:22Speaker 8: real fast. Uh, you know are We're coming to the
- 11:24Speaker 8: closing in the year and I'm trying to figure out,
- 11:27Speaker 8: like when do we start putting the plan together? Do
- 11:29Speaker 8: we start now or how do we start setting these
- 11:32Speaker 8: goals together?
- 11:33Speaker 2: As soon as I think of something that needs to
- 11:35Speaker 2: be accomplished or something I want to have on my
- 11:38Speaker 2: wish list, I start to process immediately. I don't wait
- 11:44Speaker 2: for resolutions or New Years and I start now. I've
- 11:48Speaker 2: learned that delaying does exactly that delays. Why would you
- 11:55Speaker 2: delay something that you want to happen? You start, and
- 11:59Speaker 2: once you start practicing the practice of procrastination, it takes
- 12:04Speaker 2: root really fast, and next thing you know, you're looking
- 12:07Speaker 2: for special days to do this, special moments to do that.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And then you'll find out in life that there is
- 12:13Speaker 2: no correct time to start except now. And it ain't
- 12:17Speaker 2: no need of waiting on your ducks to line up,
- 12:19Speaker 2: because they will not line up. Them ducks walks off
- 12:23Speaker 2: in all kinds of directions. These are not the ducks
- 12:27Speaker 2: down at the peapot in Mempherus. I'm telling you, they
- 12:30Speaker 2: don't get in that line. They don't come off that
- 12:32Speaker 2: elevator and walk straight and get in that water. These
- 12:35Speaker 2: ducks in life, they fly off, they go the other way.
- 12:39Speaker 2: They go over there and get in somebody. Get in
- 12:41Speaker 2: white people cars. You can go, hey, do it, get
- 12:46Speaker 2: out to white people's car. So if you wait on
- 12:49Speaker 2: your ducks to line up, man, stop doing that.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Go now.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't wait for resolutions. I've started everything that I
- 12:56Speaker 2: want to that I'm hoping for already started fertilizing the seeds.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah, what a great.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how I do it. Jun, I don't wait
- 13:05Speaker 2: on resolutions. This is fun to do them because I
- 13:10Speaker 2: don't know they sounds good. But if you're gonna lose weight,
- 13:13Speaker 2: see right now, like the big one in twenty twenty four,
- 13:16Speaker 2: gonna be to lose weight, but you're goin to pack
- 13:18Speaker 2: fifteen open, You're packed fifteen.
- 13:25Speaker 5: On this month, all right, We'll come right back with
- 13:30Speaker 5: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this

- 15:18Speaker 1: She loved.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Oh, yes she could. It looked just like it did
- 15:23Speaker 5: at the at the department stores. My mom could rap.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, man, girl, I got an easy bake up in
- 15:29Speaker 1: one year. Oh yes, with the light, with the light.
- 15:32Speaker 2: If I would have wrapped it it because everything I
- 15:37Speaker 2: wrapped to the exact shape or whatever. The dog dog
- 15:45Speaker 2: you if you thought it was a trunk, that's probably
- 15:47Speaker 2: what it was. It was obvious that the.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Going over under the tree and just feeling on the
- 15:52Speaker 8: gifts trying to guess what it was.
- 15:55Speaker 2: If I wrapped it, you knew, wow, bottle of wine.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I got a.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Bowling ball.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You know exactly what it is. It looked like he
- 16:10Speaker 2: gave all of baseball.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I remember when I got a tape recorder one year.
- 16:16Speaker 5: That was always a good the beginning of my career
- 16:19Speaker 5: right there, tape recorder.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Yes, oh I got a staring rewind fast forward, Yes, yes,
- 16:26Speaker 9: good good stuff.
- 16:28Speaker 2: One of my most frightening Christmases was because of that
- 16:33Speaker 2: tape recorder right there.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well you what you press play and record
- 16:38Speaker 1: play and.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Record frightenings and get it done. Yes, yes, my mama
- 16:44Speaker 2: got me mine for Christmas. I took it upstairs and
- 16:47Speaker 2: recorded Rudy Raymore six to find a Monkey, God talk
- 16:53Speaker 2: a whole down in that signified monkey showed to walking
- 17:03Speaker 2: through the trees and all up and market. I was
- 17:11Speaker 2: in elementary school. He was cussing, he was cutting seven
- 17:17Speaker 2: six or seven.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You know about Rudy ray Moore.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Well, my dad and them used to play it, oh
- 17:23Speaker 2: and sit on the steps in the hallway and listen
- 17:26Speaker 2: to it. Be in the hallway, Holliday. Everybody had the
- 17:29Speaker 2: albums man, but I remember rise yeah, the whole signifying monkey,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and I could sound just like it. So when my
- 17:37Speaker 2: mama got it, I went upstairs and I'm recording way
- 17:41Speaker 2: down shungle thep hand signifying monkey, wearying, cussing and everything
- 17:51Speaker 2: I'm talking about cuss just like that's when you first loved.
- 17:54Speaker 2: You fell in love like this, So everything going good.
- 17:57Speaker 2: We go to church that morning. We come back. A

- 18:04Speaker 2: to see my mama and they was in there in
- 18:08Speaker 2: the living room, and I had my recorder on the
- 18:12Speaker 2: coffee table because I say, saw a cookie on the
- 18:14Speaker 2: dining room table. I wanted to get a matter of
- 18:17Speaker 2: fact of rice Chrispy.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Uh.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Well, and when I came back, my mama had to
- 18:24Speaker 2: recorded in her lap my stomach.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Uh.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She said, what did they They was all talking about. Uh,
- 18:35Speaker 2: sister Harvey, what is that? That's these new recorders that
- 18:39Speaker 2: you buy. We bought one for Steve and I'm just
- 18:43Speaker 2: and I said, man, don't get that bus over there
- 18:51Speaker 2: in this lady, sister Porter, say what's on it? My
- 18:58Speaker 2: mama pressed place. I opened it up like this way
- 19:08Speaker 2: down in the jungle deep that signifying munkeet that the
- 19:16Speaker 2: ever sleep. Yeah, I'm cussing in everything. I mean, it's
- 19:23Speaker 2: on the recorder. So my mama trying to find the button,
- 19:29Speaker 2: but she can't cut it off. She can't control the
- 19:32Speaker 2: volume or nothing. She steady hitting the play button. Well,
- 19:36Speaker 2: that's already down and your baby talking. The lady at
- 19:42Speaker 2: the church say, ooh, that's that's Rudy Ray Moore. So
- 19:48Speaker 2: I said, okay, that might help a little bit. They
- 19:51Speaker 2: say she say, but who is it though? Oh?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Who's saying this?
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody looking at me. I'm just trying to figure
- 20:01Speaker 2: out how I can make this recorded disappear and make forget.
- 20:10Speaker 2: If I stay here and look out the window, maybe
- 20:13Speaker 2: they won't notice it. Me. Man, I was stitting there
- 20:16Speaker 2: in trouble. My mama's finally cut that thing off. She said, boy,
- 20:21Speaker 2: Lord Jesus, when your daddy get home. No, man, So
- 20:26Speaker 2: they left. My daddy came home, she said, snack, listen
- 20:30Speaker 2: to what this boy didn't put on his shitty on Christmas?
- 20:35Speaker 2: And she pressed play again, right down in the jungle deep.
- 20:47Speaker 2: My daddy said, who is that? My mama said, that's

- 30:34Speaker 5: choice together. However, the Elves, I didn't know this. The
- 30:37Speaker 5: Elves are on strike and you guys here with some grievances.
- 30:43Speaker 2: What I got I got to someone hell the list
- 30:46Speaker 2: myself because it's something that I'm I'm good at doing
- 30:50Speaker 2: because I'm a former union man, and els als have
- 30:55Speaker 2: decided they came to me with a lot of complaints
- 30:58Speaker 2: and I'm being a represent the now. We wanted Tommy
- 31:01Speaker 2: to stand up for him, but then he was already
- 31:05Speaker 2: standing up. See right there they went with Robby. We
- 31:10Speaker 2: need somebody that's stand up for it, that look like
- 31:13Speaker 2: they actually standing. So I said I would do it.
- 31:16Speaker 2: The l's this year are going on strike. Well they
- 31:21Speaker 2: haven't gone on yet, but they're threatening to go on strike.
- 31:25Speaker 2: The elves are wanting to sit out this year. Santa
- 31:28Speaker 2: Claus is having trouble because he's trying to talk to
- 31:31Speaker 2: these als about their concern So I'm here with their
- 31:37Speaker 2: grievouss and I want to start by saying these are
- 31:41Speaker 2: the L's grievouss, and I will be preparing these statements
- 31:45Speaker 2: on behalf of the L Foundation. We the elves who
- 31:50Speaker 2: work at the North Pole, are requesting the following changes.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Please show your support through our website www dot help
- 32:01Speaker 2: Elves dot com. You're gonna help the L's help ls
- 32:07Speaker 2: dot com. Tell me, don't that you don't know?
- 32:11Speaker 4: So you know?
- 32:17Speaker 2: What'll the complaints that the elves have And here we go.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Number one problem that they're have. We the LS would
- 32:27Speaker 2: like to stop making these wooden toys. Don't no kid,
- 32:33Speaker 2: won't no wooden toy, and we've been making them for years. Okay,
- 32:40Speaker 2: ain't nobody asked for now? One of these wouldn't wheels,
- 32:43Speaker 2: these wooden't pigs block They got real toys now. Secondly,
- 32:49Speaker 2: we the L's are requesting to have a casual Friday,
- 32:54Speaker 2: so we ain't got a way of these stupid uniform
- 32:59Speaker 2: tight pants with these pointed hats. We want a casual
- 33:03Speaker 2: five voicing the concerns that elves have and to considered
- 33:09Speaker 2: all going on strike. And they wanted me to convey
- 33:12Speaker 2: this to set a class and everybody. We're the l's
- 33:16Speaker 2: would like to request a thirty minute smoke brink. They
- 33:21Speaker 2: smacks and we smoked. We want to be able to
- 33:27Speaker 2: go outside and smoke whatever we want.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Legal.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Try making these with the chars. Without it, elves don't
- 33:40Speaker 2: get high. Here's the next complaint on behalf of the
- 33:44Speaker 2: Hells Elves were the Alves have voted to eliminate bring
- 33:49Speaker 2: your kids to work there. The truth of the matter
- 33:55Speaker 2: is l really don't like kids. No, we don't because
- 34:05Speaker 2: they think we kids too, just because we short. Get
- 34:08Speaker 2: your hands off of me. I drove here in the sleeve.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Next complaint that they have we the Elves are uncomfortable
- 34:25Speaker 2: wearing these shot dang funny toe shoes that hurt out.
- 34:33Speaker 2: We want crocs to be the new official al shoe,
- 34:40Speaker 2: crocks and gaiters to be the new ale shoe. The Elves,
- 34:46Speaker 2: I'm doing complaint. You don't act like you ain't with them.
- 34:50Speaker 2: You're trying to add a complaint. I don't like you
- 34:55Speaker 2: had elves and pilgrims have the same shoes. The well,
- 35:06Speaker 2: let's quit playing this game. The next complaint, We the
- 35:12Speaker 2: elves do not like elves shirts and pants. They ain't
- 35:16Speaker 2: got no pockets, and we want to start using fanny
- 35:21Speaker 2: pass so when we go outside to take our smoke break,
- 35:29Speaker 2: we'll have our stuff with us. Next complaint, We the
- 35:35Speaker 2: elves understand that we on the north pole, but some
- 35:39Speaker 2: of the younger elves wants to cut back on the
- 35:42Speaker 2: heat being so high all the time in the workshop.
- 35:47Speaker 2: The older al's is fine. We els would like to
- 36:01Speaker 2: assign ten l's each year to ride around with Santa,
- 36:05Speaker 2: because we think it's unfair that we make all these
- 36:08Speaker 2: toys and we don't ever get going on, just be
- 36:13Speaker 2: packing up the slid with the rain we made the toy.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Let us go a couple more quickly, We the l's.
- 36:23Speaker 2: We still love miss Claus and we know she's very
- 36:26Speaker 2: nice and she's never too busy to being down and
- 36:29Speaker 2: give us a hug, but we still would like to
- 36:32Speaker 2: know exactly what does she do of he cooks for everybody.
- 36:41Speaker 2: We ain't had nothing from her. We got an air
- 36:45Speaker 2: quibla l and last week not leaves. We the l
- 36:48Speaker 2: support the me too movement. That's real strong up here,
- 36:54Speaker 2: and some of the female al's are requesting that Santa
- 36:58Speaker 2: refrain from saying ho ho hole hop.
- 37:03Speaker 1: And on that note, we're gonna go, go go. It
- 37:08Speaker 1: was good, is Chris Brennan.
- 37:09Speaker 10: I want to just say happy Holidays from my family
- 37:11Speaker 10: to yours and Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 39:18Speaker 2: buy some more packs.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Would you rather have chapped lips or a running nose?
- 39:27Speaker 2: Brun I can't chap these these right here? Yeah, I
- 39:35Speaker 2: just got your side walks on my face, you know,
- 39:40Speaker 2: lower take but at the heel when you crack that lip. God?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right? Would you rather have no Christmas
- 39:49Speaker 1: or no birthday?
- 39:51Speaker 6: Oh?
- 39:51Speaker 2: No, no you start? You miss miss your next birthday?

- 40:09Speaker 5: for Christmas?
- 40:10Speaker 10: Or is you?
- 40:12Speaker 5: Or would you rather Santa Claus Is coming to town
- 40:14Speaker 5: by the Jackson Five on repeat?
- 40:16Speaker 1: All day?
- 40:17Speaker 2: Oh? God, all day, Mariah.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Michael?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Not all day Mariah?
- 40:31Speaker 1: Mariah all I Want for Christmas?
- 40:33Speaker 4: Is you?
- 40:34Speaker 2: Okay? I have to listen to that at least not
- 40:39Speaker 2: to Jackson Michael. All right?
- 40:41Speaker 5: Would you rather only give up fruitcake as Christmas presents
- 40:45Speaker 5: or get giving out presents altogether?
- 40:48Speaker 2: Yeah? I would prefer you not giving me nothing because
- 40:54Speaker 2: I'm really dislike you.
- 40:56Speaker 12: Would you rather I have given fruit cake every try

- 41:03Speaker 2: I've warmed it up slightly, I put ice cream with
- 41:07Speaker 2: I've tried it with egg I've tried everything I've tried to.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:20Speaker 5: All right, we promised to talk about holiday traditions, especially
- 41:24Speaker 5: Christmas traditions, and while time honored holiday traditions are important,
- 41:28Speaker 5: they've also evolved over the generations. Now this is according
- 41:31Speaker 5: to a survey, family activities and writing to Santa are
- 41:35Speaker 5: still among the most popular holiday traditions. That is interesting,
- 41:40Speaker 5: even though because I've never written to Santa. Even though
- 41:43Speaker 5: we live in a tech savvy world, three out of
- 41:46Speaker 5: four parents say their children still hand write letters to
- 41:50Speaker 5: Santa as opposed to a more modern approach like email.
- 41:55Speaker 5: And really, and what's the most popular family activity in
- 41:59Speaker 5: this year? Well, according to most households, it's decorating the
- 42:03Speaker 5: Christmas tree as a family.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Now that I like, I can I can relate to that.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Do we do that? Yeah?
- 42:09Speaker 3: Uh so.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Let's so, Steve, we got to start with you here.
- 42:13Speaker 5: What are what are the family traditions that your family
- 42:16Speaker 5: keeps that you definitely.
- 42:17Speaker 2: First of all, let me get this straight.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Boodle, your grandson al.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Noah and Rose.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Grandchildren.
- 42:31Speaker 2: I'm not telling them that Santa Claus is coming down
- 42:35Speaker 2: the chimney, okay, gay mom and daddy Mike. But if
- 42:38Speaker 2: they come up with Papa's house, Papa bought all this
- 42:48Speaker 2: about that.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Y'all.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Pa, Okay, all the little fake snow, I bought all
- 42:55Speaker 2: that in him. I had that tree in the in
- 42:59Speaker 2: the in the in the foyer, that Papa bought that.
- 43:02Speaker 5: So that's a new tradition, really, because you weren't you
- 43:06Speaker 5: brought up with thinking Santa Claus did it for a
- 43:08Speaker 5: while when you were little?
- 43:10Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, so you're usually as young as your grandchildren aren't.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Yeah, well, traditions.
- 43:15Speaker 2: You know, my kids take their kids to see Santa Claus. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 2: they're thinking it's a Santa Claus. I'm just telling them,
- 43:22Speaker 2: don't bring them over here.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Why you got to call so real with it right now? Well, no,
- 43:27Speaker 1: a Papaul house.
- 43:28Speaker 2: All is paid for by the big ball. Hor did
- 43:30Speaker 2: you work?
- 43:31Speaker 1: You want some credit?
- 43:32Speaker 2: The white man didn't bought nothing up in hire. The
- 43:35Speaker 2: bald headed black man that's in that office down there
- 43:38Speaker 2: at the front of the house. You going that that's
- 43:40Speaker 2: Santa Claus down there. A matter of fact, don't bring
- 43:43Speaker 2: him up when you come in here, because he had
- 43:46Speaker 2: none to do, and everything on this side of the gate,
- 43:48Speaker 2: Santa Claus they had to do.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Okay, So that's one. That's one that's meant that you
- 43:55Speaker 1: burst wide open.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Okay. Secondly, if you tae up your toy on Christmas,
- 44:03Speaker 2: you get your quote own Christmas? What man?
- 44:07Speaker 1: That it's a tradition. Tradition stands.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Lay away and you broke it.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he opened it at five and it's broken.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Nd I had a nephew named All did every toy
- 44:33Speaker 2: he got, he took it apart. Wow, but then you
- 44:37Speaker 2: know what he put it all back together. That's all
- 44:39Speaker 2: he wanted to do.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's like girls we used to take our
- 44:44Speaker 1: dolls clothes off.
- 44:45Speaker 2: He a mechanic right now. That's what you do.
- 44:49Speaker 5: He's a mechanic right now. Because see yeah, so that
- 44:53Speaker 5: was some good. But did he get in trouble for
- 44:54Speaker 5: doing it when.
- 44:55Speaker 6: He was a kid?
- 44:56Speaker 8: Dog?
- 44:56Speaker 2: Because if my daddy sought the toy toe up. But
- 45:00Speaker 2: he would ask though after the second year, is that
- 45:03Speaker 2: toy we'll leave alone?
- 45:05Speaker 4: There?
- 45:08Speaker 1: Oh he wasn't too mad, all right? What else? So
- 45:14Speaker 1: so no Santa, but whoopings if you broke your toys?
- 45:17Speaker 1: What else?
- 45:19Speaker 6: Uh?
- 45:20Speaker 1: These are some traditions, Steve. I want to hear some
- 45:22Speaker 1: of Junior still. I know his family. Sounds like he
- 45:26Speaker 1: got his butt up.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Oh man. Absolutely.
- 45:29Speaker 8: One tradition was you going to bed at seven on
- 45:32Speaker 8: Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
- 45:34Speaker 2: On Christmas Eve?
- 45:35Speaker 1: Oh, I could never sleep on Christmas Eve. I could
- 45:38Speaker 1: never do that.
- 45:39Speaker 8: Because Santah was coming. What Santa don't show up till
- 45:44Speaker 8: nine in the morning.
- 45:45Speaker 1: We gotta go back to be nine.
- 45:50Speaker 8: N running later, y'all go back in there and go
- 45:54Speaker 8: back to Ben.
- 46:00Speaker 5: He ain't made it here yet.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Y'all go in there and.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Lien.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Yeah, move it up.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Next, nephew's prank phone call. Right after this, he's drinking
- 46:10Speaker 1: all night.
- 46:11Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 46:18Speaker 5: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry
- 46:21Speaker 5: letter for today, and the subject is she slapped my husband.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'll get into that, find out what that's all about.
- 46:29Speaker 5: She's still alive. She's still alive and justin pew. But
- 46:34Speaker 5: right now it is time for the nephew. Uh, he's
- 46:37Speaker 5: here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:39Speaker 1: What you got next?
- 46:41Speaker 10: I'm trying to go deep right now, Shirley, deep into
- 46:43Speaker 10: the archives. I'm that can the folders, and I'm in

- 46:50Speaker 10: of them on eight track. You know, I'm wow back off.
- 46:52Speaker 10: I'm back off in here. I'm back way back off
- 46:55Speaker 10: in here. Yeah yeah, deep deep deep prank prank deep.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Let's see here. All right, that's what right here? Y'all
- 47:03Speaker 2: hold tight here. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Cassandra
- 47:09Speaker 2: is Hey, how you doing?
- 47:10Speaker 4: I'm fine? Who's this?
- 47:12Speaker 2: This is Brian. This is Brian. I work with your
- 47:14Speaker 2: sister Kiva. Okay, we've met a couple of times. You've
- 47:19Speaker 2: you've come out to happy hour with us a couple
- 47:20Speaker 2: of times, but that's been you just had a baby.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Right, Oh yeah, so that must have been a long
- 47:25Speaker 4: time ago. I sure did just have a baby, she said.
- 47:28Speaker 4: This is Brian.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Brian, congratulations. How many months is it now?
- 47:32Speaker 4: It's been three months since I've had them?
- 47:34Speaker 2: Okay, all right, well congratulations to you.
- 47:37Speaker 10: Listen, we we're putting together a pot luck Christmas party
- 47:41Speaker 10: and we wanted to invite you out.
- 47:43Speaker 4: Oh okay, is this some kind of surprise or something?
- 47:48Speaker 10: Well, you know what, I'm My job is to call
- 47:51Speaker 10: around since it's a pot luck and make sure we
- 47:53Speaker 10: get everybody to bring something. What I wanted to do
- 47:56Speaker 10: is I told her she should invite you her sister.
- 47:58Speaker 10: I'm sure your sister. I was just and you probably
- 48:00Speaker 10: hadn't been able to get out since the baby, and
- 48:02Speaker 10: maybe you would want to get.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Out a little bit.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you said that, I've been trapped in this house
- 48:06Speaker 4: with this baby. Oh and he oh, he's such a
- 48:09Speaker 4: greedy baby. But yeah, I'm here a lot. This is
- 48:12Speaker 4: like my second child, and I'm telling you he was
- 48:15Speaker 4: nothing like the first one. But I haven't been out.
- 48:17Speaker 4: When is the party.
- 48:19Speaker 10: It's gonna be next week, next Friday. We're gonna throw
- 48:21Speaker 10: it and we're not trying to do anything too late,
- 48:23Speaker 10: probably around six o'clock. Everybody's gonna leave work a little early.
- 48:26Speaker 10: But we're gonna all bring a little something to contribute
- 48:29Speaker 10: to the party, you know, whatever type of food or
- 48:31Speaker 10: drinks or whatever.
- 48:32Speaker 2: So we just wanted to reach out and give you
- 48:34Speaker 2: an invitation.
- 48:36Speaker 4: I just need to see if I can get a babysitter.
- 48:38Speaker 4: I haven't had to use a babysitter yet, but I'll try.
- 48:42Speaker 4: I'll do my best. I mean, it's my sister and
- 48:44Speaker 4: her friend, so i'd be glad to come. So you
- 48:46Speaker 4: said it's pop luck. What are y'all bringing?
- 48:49Speaker 10: Well, some people are bringing finger food, some people are
- 48:52Speaker 10: bringing desserts, nachos and things like that, So I guess
- 48:56Speaker 10: a little bit of everything, and everybody's just in the
- 48:59Speaker 10: Christmas spirit.
- 48:59Speaker 2: We gonna have a good time.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Well do I need to cook it myself? Or can
- 49:03Speaker 4: I just order something and have it delivered or something
- 49:05Speaker 4: like that? You know, I'm food with this baby. I
- 49:07Speaker 4: can't get too much done while I'm here, but I'd
- 49:09Speaker 4: be glad to contribute.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Uh well, actually we're we're interested in getting some eggnog.
- 49:14Speaker 4: Uh yeah, I can probably I could send my husband
- 49:17Speaker 4: out to get some because you know, Van's Just School
- 49:19Speaker 4: is a specialty shop. They make some good homemade ignog.
- 49:23Speaker 4: I could do eggnogs.
- 49:24Speaker 10: Well, well, hang on, we didn't. We didn't want anything
- 49:26Speaker 10: from a specialty shop. We're real particular about having good eggnog.
- 49:31Speaker 10: We've always had good eggnog every year when we throw
- 49:33Speaker 10: the big pot luck Christmas party. We wanted to see
- 49:36Speaker 10: if you didn't mind making some eggnog from scratch. But
- 49:39Speaker 10: you know, if you if you could really really help
- 49:42Speaker 10: us out, you know, using using breast milk to do it.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Well, they make the best milk over there. I know
- 49:48Speaker 4: they used whole milk sometimes they use that butter cream milk.
- 49:52Speaker 4: You know what I should get my aunt to make
- 49:53Speaker 4: because she got a real good recipe and I know
- 49:55Speaker 4: she used the best milk as I can get her
- 49:58Speaker 4: to make. Thumb is that? Okay?
- 49:59Speaker 2: Okay? So you your mom has what kind of milk?
- 50:02Speaker 4: My ain't? She makes the best eggnog? And I know
- 50:05Speaker 4: she us like whole milk and buttermilk and stuff. That's
- 50:08Speaker 4: what I was thinking, I told you.
- 50:10Speaker 10: But no, no, no, no, no no no, we want
- 50:13Speaker 10: some breast milk, not the best milk. We want breast
- 50:17Speaker 10: aren't you breastfeeding?
- 50:18Speaker 4: You you say breast as in b r east, breast.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Milk, breast milk.
- 50:23Speaker 4: Yes, yes, wait a minute, wait a minute, yeah, I'm breastfeeding.
- 50:27Speaker 4: But breast milk is for babies. Adult people don't supposed
- 50:30Speaker 4: to drink that, if you, if you not no infant,
- 50:31Speaker 4: you're not supposed.
- 50:32Speaker 2: To berea milk. Breast milk is the best milk. See.
- 50:35Speaker 2: So what we was trying to do is get it.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Get the eggnog made with breast milk, and that's what
- 50:39Speaker 2: we want.
- 50:40Speaker 4: Brian, you say your name is Brian, Yes, I'm Brian. Okay, Brian,
- 50:44Speaker 4: you must be white because because black folks don't drink
- 50:47Speaker 4: breast milk. That's for babies. Okay, I am not making
- 50:52Speaker 4: eggnog with breast milk. Now, Breast milk is not what
- 50:56Speaker 4: you get. That is for my newborn infant. That sounds nasty.
- 51:00Speaker 4: See unstam, Why would I do that to other people
- 51:03Speaker 4: that have to have somebody to do?
- 51:04Speaker 2: I mean, is there what you can like pump out
- 51:06Speaker 2: two gallons for us?
- 51:07Speaker 4: I mean, just what we're about to end this conversation.
- 51:09Speaker 4: That is not something I'm about to do. Okay, I
- 51:12Speaker 4: am not pumping milk for some Christmas party. That that
- 51:19Speaker 4: is nasty. Okay, somebody gonna call the health's apartment on
- 51:22Speaker 4: y'all bring them milk up there to make some eggnough
- 51:25Speaker 4: what does that? We don't do that. This ain't no
- 51:29Speaker 4: feet of village with my milk, you know what, ma'am?
- 51:32Speaker 2: I mean.
- 51:33Speaker 10: I wasn't trying to offend you. I just wanted to
- 51:35Speaker 10: see if it was something that you would do for us.
- 51:38Speaker 10: You know, maybe you could you could squeeze out a
- 51:40Speaker 10: couple of gallons and we could.
- 51:42Speaker 4: I'm past offended. I ain't squeezing out a table spool
- 51:45Speaker 4: of breast milk to be donating to some Christmas party?
- 51:50Speaker 4: Does that?
- 51:51Speaker 2: Okay?
- 51:51Speaker 4: Yeah, you got messed up. You need to tell Keith.
- 51:53Speaker 4: First of all, I don't even know why ever gave
- 51:55Speaker 4: you my number to invite me to some She couldn't
- 51:57Speaker 4: have She couldn't have known you're gonna ask me to
- 51:59Speaker 4: make some agnogged with real breast milk.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't.
- 52:02Speaker 10: I didn't tell Keiva exactly what I wanted, but I
- 52:05Speaker 10: didn't think it was gonna be this much of a
- 52:06Speaker 10: problem that you would have a problem with a couple
- 52:08Speaker 10: of gallons so we could have a good time with
- 52:10Speaker 10: real good milk.
- 52:11Speaker 4: Well, Brian, y'all work in corporate America. Surely you are
- 52:15Speaker 4: smarter than that to be calling somebody asking for some
- 52:18Speaker 4: breast milk? Who does that? What you can do? If
- 52:21Speaker 4: you want some eggnog, you could stop at the grocery
- 52:23Speaker 4: store and get you some infa milk some similar can
- 52:25Speaker 4: make some ignog yourself if that's what you choose to do.
- 52:29Speaker 4: But my breast milk, you can't even pay for it? Okay,
- 52:31Speaker 4: I don't get down like that. That's a if I
- 52:34Speaker 4: ever heard of it, you too. It tells you to
- 52:36Speaker 4: be calling around asking people for milk.
- 52:38Speaker 10: Does Oh, you're gonna be this selfish that you can't
- 52:41Speaker 10: loan us a little bit of breast milk so we
- 52:43Speaker 10: can have a great time with some eggnog.
- 52:45Speaker 2: At the party.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Selfish loan breast milk?
- 52:50Speaker 10: Okay, you know what, you know what concerned, don't worry about.
- 52:52Speaker 10: We don't even want you at the party. If you
- 52:53Speaker 10: ain't gonna bring the breast milk, then don't come to.
- 52:55Speaker 2: The party, right.
- 52:56Speaker 4: I don't need to come here on a sunk party.
- 52:58Speaker 4: And you tell Keiva this, some Steven have her frank
- 53:01Speaker 4: call me.
- 53:02Speaker 10: I am the party coordinator, and Kevra knows that that's
- 53:05Speaker 10: and I tried to be nice enough to invite you.
- 53:07Speaker 4: I'm offended. I am offended. Okay, would you ask your
- 53:10Speaker 4: wife or your girlfriend or whoever your baby mom is
- 53:12Speaker 4: to do something like that? Would you expect somebody to
- 53:15Speaker 4: ask You're just respecting me asking me for some like that? Okay,
- 53:19Speaker 4: you know what, Brian, what is your last name? Because
- 53:21Speaker 4: I'm failing to remember who you are because I'm sure gonna.
- 53:24Speaker 10: Ask keep well, Brian, Brian ain't really my name. I
- 53:26Speaker 10: didn't really want to tell you my real name.
- 53:28Speaker 4: So so you playing on the phone, then you probably
- 53:31Speaker 4: don't even know my sister.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Who is this?
- 53:33Speaker 2: I mean, I talk to your sister about twenty minutes ago.
- 53:36Speaker 2: I talked to Keith.
- 53:37Speaker 4: You may't talk to my Kieva because this is a
- 53:39Speaker 4: I know that too clearly, Okay.
- 53:41Speaker 2: But I want to go and tell you this here.
- 53:42Speaker 4: You know what you're gonna get off my phone. That's
- 53:44Speaker 4: what you're gonna do.
- 53:45Speaker 10: Keeva told me the call because see, I am nephew
- 53:48Speaker 10: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and your sister
- 53:51Speaker 10: Cable got me the prank phone call.
- 53:53Speaker 4: You you talking about that nephew Thomas on the TV
- 53:59Speaker 4: in the radio. This can't be real. You're real me.

- 54:15Speaker 2: Oh you real?
- 54:16Speaker 4: Funny? Okay, exactly.
- 54:21Speaker 10: I gotta ask you, baby, what's the baddest that, I mean,

- 54:46Speaker 2: ask y'all for franking praise.
- 54:47Speaker 1: One more time.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not saying.
- 54:52Speaker 1: You ain't gonna ask you this time.
- 54:54Speaker 2: You're gonna find a new time to ask us.
- 54:56Speaker 1: But you're gonna ask us.

- 56:43Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, nephew.
- 56:45Speaker 5: Subject she slapped my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband
- 56:51Speaker 5: and I love to hang out after football games. We're
- 56:54Speaker 5: Clemson fans and my husband played football, so we were
- 56:57Speaker 5: all into the games. We met a group of friends
- 56:59Speaker 5: that are favorite bar, and two of my single girlfriends came.
- 57:03Speaker 5: They're not into football, but they thought some single men
- 57:06Speaker 5: might be out. We were sitting back and chilling and
- 57:10Speaker 5: one of my friends joined us. She went to the
- 57:13Speaker 5: bar to order her own food and drinks, even though
- 57:16Speaker 5: we had a waiter that checked on us. My husband
- 57:19Speaker 5: was joking joky with her, but I could see that
- 57:22Speaker 5: she had a bad vibe from the time she walked in.
- 57:26Speaker 5: She was on her phone, texting a whole lot. At
- 57:30Speaker 5: the same time, my husband seemed distracted and he checked
- 57:33Speaker 5: his phone a lot. I am watching them the whole
- 57:36Speaker 5: time because something.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Was not right. If she texted, he looked at his phone.
- 57:42Speaker 5: Then she got up to go sit at the bar,
- 57:45Speaker 5: and it was packed by then, so I could not
- 57:47Speaker 5: really see what she was doing.
- 57:50Speaker 1: My husband went to the bathroom and stopped by the
- 57:52Speaker 1: bar to talk to her.
- 57:55Speaker 5: He showed her his phone and she showed him her
- 58:00Speaker 5: Then she put her finger in his face and lightly
- 58:03Speaker 5: slapped him. I walked over to them, and he looked
- 58:06Speaker 5: like a deer in headlights. He said he wanted to
- 58:08Speaker 5: know why she was being antisocial and sitting at the bar,
- 58:12Speaker 5: so I asked him why he cared, She echoed, saying, yeah,
- 58:16Speaker 5: why do you care? He swears it was nothing at
- 58:19Speaker 5: all and that I did not see her slap him.
- 58:23Speaker 5: Why would my friend invite this woman to join us,
- 58:25Speaker 5: join us if something is up with her and my husband?
- 58:30Speaker 5: I want to ask about this woman, but I don't
- 58:32Speaker 5: want to seem pressed.
- 58:33Speaker 2: What should I do?
- 58:35Speaker 1: You got to ask?
- 58:36Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 58:37Speaker 5: You don't want to see pressed? This is your husband.
- 58:39Speaker 5: You saw this woman slap him. You have every right
- 58:41Speaker 5: to ask and find out what's going on. I'm just
- 58:44Speaker 5: surprised by this because where and when could this ever happen?
- 58:47Speaker 5: You see a woman slap your husband and nothing there
- 58:52Speaker 5: certainly seems to be something going on. I mean, you
- 58:54Speaker 5: know you peeped it. With all the texting back and
- 58:57Speaker 5: forth and all of that. You know, you know when
- 59:00Speaker 5: someone around you gets the text from someone else because
- 59:03Speaker 5: they're looking. You know, you see someone texting, You know
- 59:06Speaker 5: how this stuff goes. They were very familiar. You know
- 59:09Speaker 5: what you saw with your own eyes. This woman had
- 59:12Speaker 5: a lot of nerve to slap him in front of you,
- 59:14Speaker 5: and she did it in front of everyone. I'm sure
- 59:17Speaker 5: she definitely knew what she was doing. And that you
- 59:19Speaker 5: were there with him, which is why this all happened. Anyway,
- 59:24Speaker 5: I say, believe what you saw in spite of what
- 59:27Speaker 5: your husband said. He said you didn't see her slap him,
- 59:30Speaker 5: and believe everything your intuition is telling you. You said
- 59:33Speaker 5: you knew something was off, you knew something wasn't right.
- 59:38Speaker 5: You know, this is just crazy, because no woman is
- 59:41Speaker 5: just gonna slap someone randomly, you know, if there's not
- 59:46Speaker 5: anything going on between him, he said something crazy.
- 59:49Speaker 1: She was mad because you were there. All of that.
- 59:51Speaker 5: Your friend is wrong for inviting the woman, Your husband
- 59:54Speaker 5: is wrong and stupid for stopping to talk to her
- 59:56Speaker 5: in the first place. And the woman doesn't give a
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: darn about your marriage or you being there. Your husband
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: is the one you should be talking to about this
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: though he you know, maybe even slap him again, you know,
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: since he didn't. He said, you didn't see her slap
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: him the first time. It's okay for you to be
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: pressed speak up for yourself, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Well, surely my answer is going to surprise you. And yeah,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: because I usually try to help some guys out the
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: name of the letter, though, is she slap my husband?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna do something I hardly ever do. I'm gonna
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: start at the bottom. He swears it was nothing at all,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: that I did not see her slap him. Why wouldn't
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: my friend invite this woman to join us if something
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: was up with her and my husband? I just want
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: to ask about this woman, but I don't want to
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: seem pressed. What should I do? Well? I sure want
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: to know who the woman is that wrote this letter,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: because you're amazing. I've never had one of you. This
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: is great. You watch the woman slap your husband and
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: you don't want to seem pressed. Oh my god. And
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: then he told you you didn't really see her slap.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: That was the move right there.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: And you want to know why your freed invited this
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: woman to join us if something were up with her
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: and my husband. Your freed may not know anything about it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: She just invited the woman. But nah, let's go back
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: now and read this letter. Y'all go to the y'all
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Clemson fans, y'all went to the game. So the single
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: women came. They ain't like football, but they thought some
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: single guys would be there. You chilling, and one of
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: your friends joined us. So then she went to the
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: bar to order her own food and drinks, even though
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: we had a waiter that checked on us. My husband
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: was joking, joking with her, but I could see that
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: she had a bad vibe from the time she walked in.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: She was on her phone, texting a whole lot. At
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: the same time, my husband seemed distracted and he checked
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: his phone a lot. I'm watching them the whole time
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: because something was not right. Normally I would try to
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: help this guy.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: With some lies.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Steve his nice way, he should get hang.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: On, hang on.
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: She slept my husband, who says that, all right, we'll
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve

- 1:03:47Speaker 5: and get your response.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: What you got?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Part two, the.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Titlis she slapped my husband. They had a bar. They
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: clipped some fans. Guy used to play. They all go
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: to bar. A couple of girls his came, but they
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: don't like football, but they figured some single guys would
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: be there. Then another one of your friends came. According
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: to you, she was one of your friends. Came and
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: had a bad vibe, and she went to the bar
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: order her food, But y'all had a waiter that was
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: checking on y'all every She was on her phone, texting
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: a lot. And at the same time, my husband seemed
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: distracted and he checked his phone a lot. So now
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: they texting each other. I'm watching them the whole time
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: because something was not right, she texts. He looked at
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: his phone. Oh lord. Then she got up and set
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: at the bar, and it was packed, so you couldn't
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: really see what was going on. Your husband went to
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: the bathroom stop by the bar to talk to her.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: He showed her his phone. She showed him hers. Then
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: she put her finger in his face and lightly slapped him.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I walked over to them. He looked like a dead haadlight.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: He said he wanted to know why she was being
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: anti socialist sitting at the bar. So I asked him
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: why he cared. Now here's a part of the whole letter.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: She echoed me, saying, yeah, why do you care? Now?
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Right here?
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Who are you asking my husband any questions? But when
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I walked over there, the fact that you had slapped
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: him change his eye relationship from now on, because wait
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: a minute, why did you slap my husband? Now your
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: husband trying to get out of it. No, baby, she
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: didn't slap me. What you're talking about him? You should
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: have asked her, how did you slap my husband? Because
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: she answered all the other questions. See that old? That
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: that old? And yeah, why do you care? Yeah? Why
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: do you care?
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: She answer questions? Well, then you should have asked her,
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: why did you slap my husband?
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: And then it was soon as she gave you her
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: her answer, why you ain't slap her?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I don't understand this at all. See and then you
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: you something, you the little off you said, why would
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: my free and invite this woman to join us if
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: something is up with her and my husband? Your freend
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: that invited her to join and may not know nothing
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: about this?
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Everybody and the dog didn't nobody know about this? I
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: want to ask about this woman, but I don't want
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: to seem pressed, so you're gonna let it go. Who
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: are you?
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: This is a Do you have a sister? Are you
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: available after this? Do you have friends that's available? Because
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I got partners that want to meet this type of woman.
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: I don't.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I don't even understand how you let the woman slap
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: your husband and you ain't had no words for her?
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: He lied, so he did the best lot. Why does
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: she slap you? She can't slap me.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: And you just saw her do it?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Crazy?
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: What slap?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Why was you showing her your phone? I ain't showing
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: up my phone. She showed you her phone. If you
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: really wanted to see it, get crazy in now. If
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: you could have snatched his phone, that would have did it.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: But then I know you ain't gonna snatch his phone
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: because you.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Don't want pressed.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Where is this woman? Act that don't want to be pressed?
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: This latter don't make no sense, lady, I don't know
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: what should I do?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: For starters, let me tell you what the average woman
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: won't do. This is far from over. Who is he
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: and what is a he?
- 1:08:27Speaker 11: To you?
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I'm on? That was this way song?
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: Go?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: He always does that?
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: You know a man we passed and just try to
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: stan mean down that gument? Who is he? And what
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: is a he?
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: To you?
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Who?
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: You did?
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: There's a female version today? Oh woman, we passed? Jay
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: is try to stare me down? Boom boom. And when
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: I looked at you, you looked at had the ground
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: you did. I don't know who she is, but I
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: think that you do yield that gummt? Who is she?
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: And what is she to you?
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Who?
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: Ah?
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Now that's that's the old Bill withersong that I wanted
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: to give to you, And that's what you should do.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: But if you don't feel like being pressed, let it go. Okay.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: She shouldn't have even used that word pressure.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: That's not the word.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: All right.

- 1:10:45Speaker 9: for you, guys. Do you have a memory or vivid
- 1:10:48Speaker 9: recollection of the first time you met Santa Claus.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: H first time in Sama?
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Uh huh?
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Now the baby. I've seen the pictures, but I don't
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: remember the man.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: At the mall you see him at.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but he never came to my house. I never
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: saw him.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: My mom would always tell me he had been there though,
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: and ate by and they sat out and talked for
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: a minute.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Oh really, always Yeah, Steve, do you remember meeting Santa Claus.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Well, when I first met him, Yeah, but I already
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: knew who he was, so I was what happened? Well,
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I had been told by my brothers, and stuff can
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: go down his white man nothing a house. So when
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: I met him, it didn't have the joy that you
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: think you would have as a child. But still I
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: liked Santa Claus. I always liked him. I thought his
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: intentions were well, you know, always enjoyed the concept. And
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: plus I'm a big Christmas guy.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: So yeah, and why is that?
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: What do you look? I just I just think it's
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: the dopest holiday of all time. I loved Christmas from
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: day one. The gifts, the giving. You know, see my
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: father and mother face man when they open up this
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: little worthless gift out on bottom. You know, I knew
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: the gift wasn't worth it, but the way they faked
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: it and act like they cald it meant a lot
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: to me, you know. And so I became a big
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: giver of Christmas gifts. I've always kind of liked that,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: you know, nice gifts and stuff. But then as I
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: grew older, I realized what Christmas was really about. So
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: it wasn't about to gift giving no more. And so
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: it just became I just want a treat, That's all
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I want this a treat, you know, I know, I
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: know the real meaning of Christmas, right right, looking for
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: to getting home so I could see my treat. Haven't
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: seen it, No, haven't seen it. I'm not sure where
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: this one came in from. I haven't disgusted yet with
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: my wife, but this coming in from somewhere.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: You didn't get it at wall are.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: Where your treat comes from? Tommy nameless? You don't want
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: excuse me, excuse me.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Mart.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: As in pre decorated, yeah, pre decorated. Yeah, yeah, oh wow, all.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Right, all right, well, uh, Merry Christmas everybody.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Hey, good morning. This is your man, Steve Harby. Tis
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: the season for love, peace, happiness and so happy Holidays.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, I wrote that myself.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve.
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: This is from RJ on Steve BARBFM dot com, and
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: RJ says, about six months ago, I ended things with
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: my fiance. We clearly weren't on the same page about
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: what we wanted for our future and with something we
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: both agreed on. My ex was friends with my mama,
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: and I think my mom took the break up harder
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: than either of us, just because my ex and I
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: are still on friendly terms, though, doesn't mean I want
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: to spend Christmas with her and watch my mama try
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: to plot and plea for us to get back together.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: I'm not trying to hear that. I'm not trying to
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: hear that at all. Well, my mama invited us, invited
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: her over for the holiday, and it would be just
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: the three of us. I really don't want to go now,
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: but I also don't want to ruin my mom's holiday.
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: I just wish she'd be more respectful of what's been
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: going on in my life. Is there a right way
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: to handle this?
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Just the three of us?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: No, just the three of us.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: You.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Oh, that's right. You're doing mama doing so it's just
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: three of them over the house.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Him his accent, his mom, I ain't gone, So you're
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: not gonna go see your mama for Christmas time.
- 1:15:23Speaker 10: I see mama before that, I ain't going over there.
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: You gotta go see Mama on Christmas. I gotta go
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: there at six o'clock in the morning. Then I got
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: to get out of there for that woman. Get over there.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: What did you say your FaceTime?
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: FaceTime work shall smell good? And then Mama look at
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: it I can't go over there. What I mean, you
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: gotta go see your mama on Christmas? Your mama that
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: invited her? She coming. Man, you finish have a bad Christmas? Though,
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: bad Christmas to get ugly at your house.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: God said, here and the excerp are friendly? He did
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: say that.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well see, but they friendly. Stop saying you friendly
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: with your ex and you really not. If y'all was friendly,
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: y'all going to do Christmas at your mama's house. Why
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: don't you tell the truth. You don't want to see
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: her no more? Now, you just broke up without hating
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: each other and wanting to kill each other. That's all
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: you did. But that don't mean you're friendly. Stop all
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: this friendly talk make me sick. Tell the truth. Y'all
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: broke up because y'all wasn't compatible and you don't like
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: her no more and she don't like you. That's the truth.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Everybody Quit trying to act like y'all a celebrity couple.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Wheel and Jada, y'all staying together. Hell, y'all trying to
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: be that fault break up? Okay, it's on friendly terms.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: You don't want over mama house. That was on friendly terms.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: They have Christmas together.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Okay, what should he do?
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Try? I don't. Don't you have messed up Christmas? And
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: that's it. Going over to your mama's house and act friendly.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: You just said y'all was friendly. Going over there and
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: be friendly. Take that new girl hollering that over there
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: with you so you can see how friendly y'all really are,
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: because that's what he That's why he can't stand, because
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: he just he'd have moved on. He got somebody else.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: He ain't put that none otter Christmas. Don't take that
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: new girl over there. He don't want to because he
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: was gonna bring this other girl over mama. Okay, now
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: I's gonna be crowded, four people.
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: Just f.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: We can make it if you try, just three and high.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: No time for tears, wasted waters, all that, and it
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: don't make no flowers grow. That's what the lady that say.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: I can't say I know that, but.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: It's how you feel about the songs. You say, yes, cashion,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: just the two of us, it is, well, you should
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: tell me, you should tell us.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: X months to go. Oh no, oh no, no, remember
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: your friend.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: All right, all right, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: Having a six figure salary doesn't mean what it used

- 1:25:10Speaker 1: All Right, here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: It's been a good day as usual.
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: Yeah, it's been fun.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you're all right, it's been one of those days
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: for me. I will admit that so far, but it's
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: gonna get better. I always keep my head up. Yeah,
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: you know, which could lead into these closing remarks because
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: I might as well talk about something that I was
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: dealing with. Every morning, I have a little meditation that
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: I do with daily inspiration that I read my Bible
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: and a journal that I take notes in, and I
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: started it doing this taking these notes the first and
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: I have notes for practically every single day. I've only
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: missed like three days from taking notes, just three. And
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: so it's something I've learned to do, and it starts
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: my day off really, really well, because it gives me
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: a weaponry to guard against the evil principalities of the world.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: You know, there's so much stimulation out here with social
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: media and technology and cyberspace and phone calls and messages
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: and texts that you know, even if you're havn't a
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: great day, there's so much stuff out there that can
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: throw you off if you're not, if you haven't stabilized
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: yourself spiritually. And Sunday, when I woke up, I was
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: just about to open up my journal and my daily inspiration.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: But I had left the TV on the night for
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: in the living room, and so I went into the
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: living room and I was about to sit down with
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: my books, and I said, man, let me cut this
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: TV off. And I went over there and I hit it.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: It didn't go off for some reason, and I said, man,
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: what's the deal? And I tried to hit it and
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: didn't go off. And I just hit the channel, and
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: I hit the channel one time. I hit the channel
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: one time, and up pops Joel Olstein.
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: And so.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: I was instead of me opening up my journal in
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: my daily inspiration, I sat down and cut the vibe
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: by cut the volume up. I went, Okay, this must
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: be for me. Maybe he wants me to get this,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: And oh my god, oh my goodness, was he correct.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Now I can't tell you exactly what he said, so
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I'm a paraphrase it a bit. He was talking about
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: people who were have given up on their dreams. Now
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: that didn't apply to me, but he said, this is
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: for people who've given up on your dreams. This is
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: for people who've been waiting on something for God for
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: a while and it hasn't gotten there yet, and you
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: start to feel like maybe it ain't for you all
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: you thinking about giving up on it. I wasn't quite
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: in that part of it, but I've been a little
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: discouraged about the fact that something I had been wanting
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: for a while hadn't happened. A lot of people fall
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: into that bracket. But a lot of people have fallen
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: into the they waited so long they just decided it
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: wasn't for them, and they stopped or they gave up
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: on their dreams and their visions. And he was talking
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: about He said, what you don't realize is that when
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: you ask God for something, that God is working on
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: it behind the scenes. He's doing some stuff and orchestrating
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: some stuff and putting some stuff into play for you
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: that you may very well not even be aware of.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: But if you give up hope, if you stop looking
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: for it, if you lose the faith, then stop the process.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: Because God don't give you what you want all the time.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: He gives you what you believe all the time. See,
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: you're not always get what you want because what you
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: want may not be best for you or something like that.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: But if you believe God to give you something and
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: He has it for you, he's going to give it
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: to you. But some people just give up hoping for
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: it looking for it. He said, if you've gotten at
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: the point in your life where you've given up on
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: your dreams or you think it ain't coming and you're
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: starting to fade, he said, I want you to do something.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: He said, I want you to look again, And that
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: caught my attention. He said, I want you to look again,
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: he said. If you look again and you don't see
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: the blessing coming, or you don't see the blessing right there,
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: he said, I want you to look again, he said.
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: And then if you still don't see it, he said,
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: listen to me real close. I want you to look again.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: And that was the thing that I needed to hear yesterday,
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: because sometimes, y'all, when you ask God for something and
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: it don't come in the timeframe that you wanted to
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: come in, you got to stay patient, You got to
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: stay watchful, and you got to do like Joe Oldstein said,
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: you got to look again. And if you look over
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: there and you still don't see it, stay patient, but
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: look again. And man on, man o man. I can't
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: tell you how I needed that yesterday. I can't tell
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: you how I need it today. I can't tell you
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: how often I need that because so many times, man,
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: so many things go counter to the way you wanted
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: to go or what you thought it was gonna be.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: That you end up and you start feeling just a
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: little bit discouraged. Sometimes you just flat out out I
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: can't take it no more, and I quit. But I
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: very rarely get that weight. But I do get I'm human,
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: you know, so I get moments when I'm man. This
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: is exhausting because what I'm attempting to do is exhausting.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: What you're attempting to do or become, or the point
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: you're trying to get to, it's exhausting. But if you're
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: exhausted and you don't feel like it's happening fast enough,
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: do like Joe Oldstein said, y'all, look again, just look again.
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: He's probably doing something on your behalf that you're not
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: aware of. Those are my closing remarks that really helped me.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: So you know what I'm doing right now. I'm looking
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: at again. I'm looking again, y'all. Have a great for all.
