- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing? Uh huh, I sure will a
- 2:04Speaker 1: good model. Everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:15Speaker 1: radio show man doing something with it too. You know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm quit saying I'm trying. My wife told me the
- 2:21Speaker 1: other day. She says, Steve, stop saying you trying. She said,
- 2:24Speaker 1: you're doing it. Son. She told it to me just
- 2:27Speaker 1: like that. She says, sir, you are absolutely doing it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Stop saying you're trying. Uh. You know what. I was
- 2:34Speaker 1: talking to somebody the other day and they said, trying.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's a noble way of explaining your failure. Trying to
- 2:47Speaker 1: say I tried or I'm trying. It's a very noble
- 2:51Speaker 1: way of explaining your failure of not getting it done.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And that's the true statement. You ever heard somebody say
- 2:58Speaker 1: well I tried. Well, then people go, well, long as
- 3:02Speaker 1: you tried, well, you know, you know, man, you're not
- 3:05Speaker 1: getting it done, and you say, well, I'm trying, but
- 3:09Speaker 1: but you ain't quite getting it done. But it's a
- 3:14Speaker 1: it sounds noble, though, don't it. I mean, it's such
- 3:16Speaker 1: a true statement. It's just noble. Is a noble. Trying
- 3:20Speaker 1: is a noble way of saying you ain't getting it
- 3:23Speaker 1: done or you failed. It's very noble to say I tried,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I tried. I tried to do my best, but that
- 3:32Speaker 1: wasn't good enough. I tried to make it, but I
- 3:35Speaker 1: just didn't get there. What good does that do the
- 3:39Speaker 1: person that was waiting on you to get there? What
- 3:42Speaker 1: good does that do? The group of people that was
- 3:44Speaker 1: counting on you? What good does that do? Your child
- 3:48Speaker 1: sitting at the door expecting daddy to show up and
- 3:52Speaker 1: Daddy was somewhere trying. What good does that do? Nothing?
- 3:58Speaker 1: So I'm Chris saying it. Steve Harvey got radio show
- 4:01Speaker 1: and I'm doing something with it. Yes, sir, Okay, Now
- 4:06Speaker 1: here's the deal today. I got a good one for
- 4:08Speaker 1: you because I was thinking of my own life, which
- 4:12Speaker 1: I use oftentimes in my messaging because I think that
- 4:17Speaker 1: God has given me the trials and tribulations that he
- 4:21Speaker 1: has set for me, so that when I start running
- 4:24Speaker 1: my mouth and talking that I have a clear cut
- 4:28Speaker 1: understanding of what I'm talking about. So here it is.
- 4:33Speaker 1: This is what I want you to do with your life,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and this is what I want you to start to
- 4:38Speaker 1: considering about your life today. And this is for all
- 4:43Speaker 1: of us. Get a mission, get a mission, man, get
- 4:52Speaker 1: a purpose, get a higher calling. M be about it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: What's this all for? What you're waking up in the morning?
- 5:10Speaker 1: For Get at it today one more time? Get a mission,
- 5:19Speaker 1: get a purpose in your life, find that higher calling
- 5:25Speaker 1: of why you're here. Be about it? What's it all for?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Get at it today? Now, Steve, you're making some some
- 5:35Speaker 1: some some big statements here. Uh huh Yeah. But oh
- 5:39Speaker 1: you know I'm gonna clean it up for you, don't
- 5:41Speaker 1: you Because you know I don't just throw it out
- 5:43Speaker 1: there without the without the how to part. See, the
- 5:46Speaker 1: how to part is usually where most people stop. They
- 5:50Speaker 1: tell you this is what you gotta do, is what
- 5:51Speaker 1: you gotta do, is what you gotta do. Then they
- 5:53Speaker 1: don't tell you how to. That's why I don't. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: don't get off the boat right there. Now, if you're
- 6:01Speaker 1: trying to figure out if you're trying to get your
- 6:04Speaker 1: life a mission and trying to figure out the purpose
- 6:06Speaker 1: and what the higher calling is it, and you want
- 6:08Speaker 1: to be about something, and you're trying to figure out
- 6:11Speaker 1: what's it all for, and you want to go get
- 6:14Speaker 1: at it today, here's the trick. God knows. God knows
- 6:22Speaker 1: the answer to all those questions. He knows what your
- 6:27Speaker 1: mission in life is. He already know what your purpose is.
- 6:30Speaker 1: He already know what the higher calling is. He already
- 6:34Speaker 1: know what you got to be about. He already knows
- 6:36Speaker 1: what it's all for. He already know what you need
- 6:39Speaker 1: to go get at. God knows, you know why. He
- 6:43Speaker 1: knows because He created you. And God created all of
- 6:48Speaker 1: us with the purpose in mind. Irregardless as to how
- 6:52Speaker 1: we were created, we were all created with the purpose
- 6:55Speaker 1: in mind. He got a mission for us, He got
- 6:59Speaker 1: something he from us, he got something he expects of us.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He has a life of abundance prepared for each and
- 7:07Speaker 1: every one of us that will lay claim to it. Now,
- 7:11Speaker 1: if you don't want that, then go on and start
- 7:13Speaker 1: making decisions on your own, possibly like you have. Now,
- 7:17Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Since you've been making all
- 7:20Speaker 1: the decisions on your own, where you're at, well you're
- 7:23Speaker 1: at with it? How you feel about it? Every day?
- 7:27Speaker 1: I locked in on your mission? Are you what? Are
- 7:29Speaker 1: you on a good purpose? Plan? You know? Do you
- 7:32Speaker 1: feel like your life is in a higher calling? Do
- 7:35Speaker 1: you know what you about? Do you have an understanding
- 7:39Speaker 1: of what it's all for? Are you up every day
- 7:42Speaker 1: going and getting at it? See? Come on now, So
- 7:47Speaker 1: now I'm asking you if you've done this without talking
- 7:52Speaker 1: to God or without checking in with your creator? Can
- 7:55Speaker 1: you answer all those questions? I can flat out tell
- 7:58Speaker 1: you you can't. I know for a fact, you kate,
- 8:03Speaker 1: because you can't know how good your life can be,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and you won't have a life as good as you
- 8:11Speaker 1: wanted to be until you have connected with the one
- 8:15Speaker 1: that created you. You better, you better understand this one now.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Please understand this ain't Steve just over here, Rent and Raven,
- 8:23Speaker 1: this is Steve. After having years of figuring this one out.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But it's it's all in the Bible, it's all in
- 8:32Speaker 1: holy writings. But you know I ain't got time for that.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Don't go church like I'm post to. Don't read the
- 8:40Speaker 1: Bible or or scrolls or the Koran or whatever your
- 8:44Speaker 1: faith is. You don't read all that it's in there,
- 8:47Speaker 1: though it's in now. But we're humans, so we we
- 8:55Speaker 1: go get at it the way we see it. Let
- 8:58Speaker 1: me tell you what happened to me. See while I
- 9:01Speaker 1: was getting at it the way I saw it ought
- 9:03Speaker 1: to be got at You understand me. When I was
- 9:07Speaker 1: defining my purpose, when I was creating my own mission,
- 9:11Speaker 1: who when I was laying claim to what my calling
- 9:15Speaker 1: is in life? Let me tell you what I was doing.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I was deferring. I was deferring the abundance that He
- 9:23Speaker 1: really had for me. I'm just now listen to me.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm just now getting at it for real. Oh. I've
- 9:32Speaker 1: been working towards it all my life. I didn't know
- 9:34Speaker 1: it though, But see, because God is so merciful and
- 9:38Speaker 1: so full of grace, he allowed me to make all
- 9:41Speaker 1: the mistakes I made. And then and then when I
- 9:44Speaker 1: finally came to him, he said, all right, now I'm
- 9:46Speaker 1: gonna take all the miss to tell you how cold
- 9:48Speaker 1: I am. Now this this God, Now I'm gonna tell
- 9:50Speaker 1: you how cold God is. He takes all the mistakes
- 9:55Speaker 1: you made, all the failures you made while you was
- 9:58Speaker 1: making your own deceit. He takes all of that and
- 10:03Speaker 1: uses them as valuable gained and learned experiences. And he
- 10:07Speaker 1: takes that and allows you to be who you are today.
- 10:11Speaker 1: See God, God ain't gonna let you forget what you did.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But here's something cold too. He ain't gonna let what
- 10:19Speaker 1: you did go for not Oh, what's your safety? Let's see,
- 10:24Speaker 1: that's what's cold. See all the mistakes I made, every
- 10:30Speaker 1: lie I told, every traumatic experience I went through, I
- 10:35Speaker 1: put anybody through any time. Man, I was out there
- 10:41Speaker 1: tripping trying to justify thats right. He said, all right, okay,
- 10:47Speaker 1: But now, because of my mercy and my grace, what
- 10:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna do is I'm gonna allow all this to happen.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You're listening to stry one minutes after the hour. You
- 11:13Speaker 1: have been hearing us say eighteen minutes after the hour

- 25:57Speaker 1: Before you even said that, it was people were thinking
- 25:59Speaker 1: you can't more to replace stopped thinking that. Tommy still here.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It's Tommy going. Tommy lead the whole show open. I'm
- 26:08Speaker 1: burning everybody. I'm telling you now, if I have to
- 26:13Speaker 1: leave right now, I'm sitting all of this. That's how
- 26:18Speaker 1: you leave. That is how you be. Nobody going on people.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I was just add it. I'm not going no, and
- 26:27Speaker 1: I know I can't go back because I didn't cussed
- 26:28Speaker 1: out some people on the way up the door on leaving.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You know I've said something that there's no way they
- 26:37Speaker 1: could take me back. What about the old don't burn
- 26:40Speaker 1: any bridge? That sounds good in a point you never
- 26:48Speaker 1: know who you might meet again. Yeah along the way
- 26:51Speaker 1: yea down. Yeah that's nice when you just talk. Got
- 26:58Speaker 1: to work bad. Some people are mad at me, so
- 27:04Speaker 1: no one really means that. As I was leaving, I
- 27:10Speaker 1: heard if he ever, Yeah, I'm you did that real,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Custom's just what's just how you should leave? He recommended.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I recommend that leaving. I'm gonna start a class called
- 27:25Speaker 1: leaving one on one is this is how you do
- 27:35Speaker 1: and let me tell you another. Alright, so I'm glad
- 27:40Speaker 1: we cleared that up. There's cleared up, and I'm here. No,
- 27:45Speaker 1: not to replace a damn soul. I'm just happy to
- 27:49Speaker 1: be waking. Yeah. I think it's important for our fans
- 27:52Speaker 1: to understand what we're doing that we just decided to
- 27:56Speaker 1: take the show to another level. Uh here's the other
- 28:00Speaker 1: thing that we need to discuss. That will be a
- 28:05Speaker 1: new theme song. Shortly, So I wanted to ask you
- 28:10Speaker 1: all this this is an open discussion with our fans
- 28:13Speaker 1: reality radio. Would you all like to submit a theme
- 28:18Speaker 1: song yourself? Suggestion was made to have j right us
- 28:23Speaker 1: a new theme songgtion suggestions and then other suggestion was
- 28:32Speaker 1: to do audience contest for the best new morning show song. Okay, okay,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and then will they win something or I mean, we
- 28:47Speaker 1: see see we just talking. This ain't even got that far.
- 28:54Speaker 1: It's cause this is how you're supposed to do radio.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That sick on HM dry as radio show. But say
- 29:00Speaker 1: if they don't win anything, you just put it out. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 1: we're asking people to do something. It's written by you
- 29:06Speaker 1: that we're not gonna give them anything. What's the incentive?
- 29:14Speaker 1: You know, you ain't having no song on the radio.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I got folk cousins right now, right right now. Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: you know so I was just thinking a couple of
- 29:26Speaker 1: things out. So what do you guys thoughts about that?
- 29:29Speaker 1: What you gotta tell me? I like Jake, No, you
- 29:33Speaker 1: know what I like. I like Ralph Hawkins, my man
- 29:35Speaker 1: who helps him put the music together, and everybody that's
- 29:38Speaker 1: on the show with single verse, So just like one version, everybody,
- 29:43Speaker 1: let's do that doesn't matter matter. No, no, no, you
- 29:49Speaker 1: ain't here. I can. He's a hater, don't him. That
- 29:57Speaker 1: is not going to happen. You know you want to
- 29:59Speaker 1: say I can sing? We know who is? Two of you?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Three of y'all forward, y'all can sing at all? Okay,
- 30:13Speaker 1: Sureley you said Sureley can't sing at all? Well, then
- 30:18Speaker 1: here's what we do. Tommy at all and Junior can ballot.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I'm telling you I can sing. That's what is this.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I've been in church choirs, So Jay, there ain't nobody
- 30:33Speaker 1: but me and you. What you want. I can wrap
- 30:35Speaker 1: a little bit and we'll put that in. There is
- 30:38Speaker 1: that way to do it so that everybody hits the
- 30:40Speaker 1: base strong. Surely you come in talking, Okay, you can talk, Tommy,
- 30:46Speaker 1: you're gonna be rapping, Junior. We're gonna take you back
- 30:50Speaker 1: to talking. Yeah, but all he do, Hey, Junior, everybody,
- 30:58Speaker 1: it's perfect for the song. I think that's things and
- 31:01Speaker 1: then Steve you and now just saying it on out. Alright,
- 31:05Speaker 1: it's gonna be written up man, written original music. It
- 31:10Speaker 1: will be original mus You an't got that to worry man. Alright, cool,
- 31:15Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. You have watched the new Steve Harvey
- 31:19Speaker 1: show Being Born. Welcome to the right. We'll be right back.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Alright. I don't know
- 31:31Speaker 1: if you guys saw this or not, but President Obama
- 31:35Speaker 1: made his triumphant return yesterday to the public. This is
- 31:39Speaker 1: the first time he's commented since losing office publicly, Okay,
- 31:43Speaker 1: since leaving office publicly. He's hitting the stage. Yes, yes,
- 31:47Speaker 1: he looked so good that swag wristed and everything. Anyway.
- 31:54Speaker 1: It was at a form with students and young adults
- 31:56Speaker 1: in Chicago. The thrust of his speech was civic engagement,
- 32:00Speaker 1: as he encouraged young people to get involved with such
- 32:02Speaker 1: issues as climate change, lack of economic opportunity, and law
- 32:06Speaker 1: enforcement relationship with the public. But more notably, he avoided
- 32:11Speaker 1: I love this. He avoided commenting directly about his successor,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and managed not to utter the name Donald Trump at all,
- 32:18Speaker 1: though he did open his talk by joking, what's been
- 32:21Speaker 1: going on? What's been going on since I've been gone?
- 32:27Speaker 1: What's been happening. He also warned the audience that the
- 32:30Speaker 1: internet and social media has major passed much more of
- 32:34Speaker 1: an open target that can hurt you in the future.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Take a listen. I mean it is true that if
- 32:39Speaker 1: you have pictures of everything I've done when I was
- 32:41Speaker 1: in high school, Um, I probably wouldn't have been president
- 32:45Speaker 1: in the United States. I love that. So what's been
- 32:53Speaker 1: going on? If I die, y'all get my phone and
- 32:57Speaker 1: blame it. Are Also most doctors and health officials are
- 33:06Speaker 1: agreeing now that doing a lot of cardio is um
- 33:10Speaker 1: it's not what you think. Uh, you know. They say
- 33:13Speaker 1: that it's good for you, But according to a new study,
- 33:16Speaker 1: there is a limit. Tommy who runs six miles every
- 33:19Speaker 1: day now, researchers found that you don't get a lot
- 33:22Speaker 1: of extra benefit when you do more than sixty minutes
- 33:24Speaker 1: of cardio per day. Tommy, I'm looking directly. Yeah, if
- 33:29Speaker 1: you do more than sixty minutes of cardio a day,
- 33:31Speaker 1: it doesn't really help you. Your health might even suffer,
- 33:35Speaker 1: they say. The side of cardio for let alone one session,
- 33:44Speaker 1: so much workout equipment that drives my clothes real non
- 33:49Speaker 1: hang everything because have the arms that hold out nice.
- 33:54Speaker 1: But you don't want to go the tree of meal
- 33:56Speaker 1: with everything all that it drives it evening even was
- 34:03Speaker 1: just to show people when they come to the Okay,
- 34:09Speaker 1: it's behind glass, you go whoa right away? Nothing, it's
- 34:17Speaker 1: really pretty Wait a minute, uh never, that's never been
- 34:26Speaker 1: on and there's one still in the box. Don't worry
- 34:30Speaker 1: about that. Open it one day. Yes, scientists are saying
- 34:36Speaker 1: it could be harmful to your health, so watch out
- 34:39Speaker 1: there now what the scientists said, Jake. Uh. There have
- 34:43Speaker 1: been plenty of stories recently about men who move into
- 34:45Speaker 1: careers that are traditionally held by women, like nursing. Well,
- 34:50Speaker 1: it's going the other way too, seems. Manly industries are
- 34:53Speaker 1: competing for women these days, building contractors, body shops, truck
- 34:57Speaker 1: driving companies, among others. Are dealing with a worker shortage,
- 35:01Speaker 1: and they're reaching out to women to fill those jobs.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'd like to see you run a jack Hamm. Whoa
- 35:07Speaker 1: what is that? I've seen that? It just got me fun. Okay, alright, alright, guys,
- 35:20Speaker 1: we gotta go to this. We gotta go to Miss Anne.
- 35:29Speaker 1: On that note, Jay was, she's here with our local
- 35:34Speaker 1: headlines are national headlines, and all of that are news.
- 35:37Speaker 1: The lovely and talented miss Ann trip everyone, Thank you,
- 35:42Speaker 1: good running everybody. You guys, I really know who There
- 35:47Speaker 1: you go, just as you heard. Former President Barack Obama
- 35:50Speaker 1: delivered his first address yesterday since leaving office. It took
- 35:53Speaker 1: place at the University of Chicago, near the future side
- 35:56Speaker 1: of his Presidential Library, and in it, he laid out
- 35:59Speaker 1: his post residency agenda, which is to motivate children young people,
- 36:04Speaker 1: after asking himself an important question, we can knock down
- 36:08Speaker 1: some of the barriers that are discouraging young people about
- 36:13Speaker 1: a life of service, and if there are, I want
- 36:17Speaker 1: to I want to work with them to knock down
- 36:19Speaker 1: those barriers. But Mr Obama wants to inspire the young
- 36:22Speaker 1: people to become engaged. In fact, he said, the single
- 36:25Speaker 1: most important thing he can do now is to help
- 36:27Speaker 1: in any way he can to prepare the next generation
- 36:30Speaker 1: of leadership to take of the baton and take their
- 36:32Speaker 1: own crack at changing the world. Okay, Maoris of Congress
- 36:37Speaker 1: of crafting a new budget bill this week that will
- 36:38Speaker 1: hopefully get enough votes to avoid Friday's looming partial government shutdown.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Republicans need sixty votes. I means they need some Democrats
- 36:45Speaker 1: and towards that end. Observers say that Trump administration has
- 36:48Speaker 1: been trying to use this week's deadline is a way
- 36:50Speaker 1: of forcing the other party to go along with his
- 36:53Speaker 1: allocation of money for the Mexican border wall and whoever.
- 36:56Speaker 1: So far, Democrats say no, we're not doing that because
- 36:59Speaker 1: they remind the press that he campaigned on the promise
- 37:02Speaker 1: that he was going to make Mexico pay for it,
- 37:04Speaker 1: not the American people. Hey, Bill O'Reilly returned to the
- 37:08Speaker 1: public eye or should I say the public ear last
- 37:10Speaker 1: night on his podcast. It was for the first time
- 37:12Speaker 1: everybody since it's Austair from Fox News over sexual harassment allegations.
- 37:17Speaker 1: But he didn't say much. I am sad that I'm
- 37:19Speaker 1: not on television anymore. I was very surprised how it
- 37:23Speaker 1: all turned out. I can't say a lot because there's
- 37:27Speaker 1: much stuff going on right now, but I can tell
- 37:31Speaker 1: you that I'm very confident that truth will come out
- 37:35Speaker 1: all the stuff. He didn't kind of get specific as
- 37:37Speaker 1: to what stuff he was really talking about. And anyway,
- 37:40Speaker 1: this is and triple. We'll be back with Eugene the
- 37:42Speaker 1: Butterfly at twenty minutes after the hour. So stay tuned
- 37:44Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey

- 37:56Speaker 1: to say, good morning. Here about it? Cherley calling and
- 38:01Speaker 1: Tammy jailor uh stay and the last but her not late?
- 38:09Speaker 1: What it's like this here? What it's like? What's up
- 38:10Speaker 1: the j brow? What's up man? How you doing? Many?
- 38:18Speaker 1: Good morning? Good morning? I look at you. I heard
- 38:20Speaker 1: the very chill here y'all at the top of ma
- 38:22Speaker 1: putting a new same sound together whatever. So I want
- 38:26Speaker 1: to say this heal j for. I want to say
- 38:30Speaker 1: to do what you say? I say jam for then
- 38:35Speaker 1: want to say to do it built a possibility? Want
- 38:40Speaker 1: of us, you know, she and my experitise and the
- 38:43Speaker 1: things I have you man down further. I want to
- 38:47Speaker 1: say to do I'm a fair j the brow don't
- 38:52Speaker 1: want to say right now. So I think me and
- 38:54Speaker 1: you probably the most musical geniuses o this y in
- 38:58Speaker 1: this room, in the room, and would you would you
- 39:02Speaker 1: be willing to put a wrap on top of that?
- 39:04Speaker 1: You know that rap I put a wrapper on top
- 39:07Speaker 1: of whatever you lay down or whatever. But I'm just
- 39:10Speaker 1: saying as for musical JA, you and me, that's it.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Most talented intms of music U hold on, Jake, uh,
- 39:19Speaker 1: most gracious missed us the harder I'll take a little
- 39:24Speaker 1: bit of fist to that dog. Me and you, we've
- 39:25Speaker 1: been holdings through this whole ride. Me and you, you
- 39:29Speaker 1: were the real And I don't want you to exclude
- 39:31Speaker 1: me this musical piece. Never never nothing never, nothing like that.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Never nothing to disrespect you. And there's no form shape
- 39:39Speaker 1: of faship with all it. I just want to I
- 39:41Speaker 1: just want to say I want to be a part
- 39:43Speaker 1: of whatever whatever you and j ever they do what.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I just want to be a part of it. That's
- 39:47Speaker 1: all I'm saying. You know, I'm not offending. I just
- 39:51Speaker 1: got here. I can't be offenious. I'm I'm day two
- 39:59Speaker 1: in No, so you know that didn't come from excuse
- 40:03Speaker 1: me for Mammy. Does this mean I get to be
- 40:04Speaker 1: a part of the thing song as well? Yes, we
- 40:06Speaker 1: want you to match because I want to be a
- 40:09Speaker 1: part of it. I want to lay your down with

- 40:20Speaker 1: to help me with that part of Yeah, the people
- 40:25Speaker 1: that's gonna be on the morning show song all the
- 40:28Speaker 1: morning show people, not the personality. But I'm a morning
- 40:35Speaker 1: show person personality. But but you're you're allowing me to
- 40:42Speaker 1: be a part of the show. That's it. I didn't
- 40:46Speaker 1: say that something. Anything I say to you, you can't
- 40:50Speaker 1: hold that against me because I'm two days in, so

- 56:21Speaker 1: take a plate as I leave. Fried chicken up. Yes,
- 56:30Speaker 1: strawberry letter coming up next. He pays me for my services.
- 56:35Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 56:40Speaker 1: All right, let's get it. Let's get it. Buckle up
- 56:43Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you, strawberry letter.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Thank you enough for your subject. He pays me for
- 56:50Speaker 1: my services. Dear Stephen, surely I've been married for a
- 56:55Speaker 1: year and I'm the breadwinner of my family. We have
- 56:59Speaker 1: a great life style because of my income. My husband
- 57:03Speaker 1: works for a cable company and he gets paid four
- 57:05Speaker 1: d dollars a week, and that just takes care of
- 57:09Speaker 1: the car. Note. So let me tell you how I'm
- 57:12Speaker 1: the breadwinner. I'm seeing this older guy who pays me
- 57:16Speaker 1: to be his chaperone, clean his house, et cetera. Oh
- 57:20Speaker 1: and by the way, this guy paid for my wedding
- 57:24Speaker 1: a year ago. Yes, he knows about my husband, but
- 57:27Speaker 1: my husband does not know about him. My husband thinks
- 57:31Speaker 1: that I work at a law firm, and now he's
- 57:33Speaker 1: starting to ask questions about my job and want to
- 57:37Speaker 1: come pick me up for lunch one day soon. What
- 57:39Speaker 1: should I do? Should I come clean with my husband?
- 57:42Speaker 1: Please help me. I could see if this was in
- 57:46Speaker 1: your past, if you had done these things in your past,
- 57:49Speaker 1: But this is going on right in your marriage right now.
- 57:53Speaker 1: So you gotta come clean somehow with your husband. I mean,
- 57:57Speaker 1: you're gonna have to at some point. I just don't
- 57:59Speaker 1: know how you're going to keep this from your husband
- 58:02Speaker 1: if he wants to come and take you to lunch
- 58:04Speaker 1: and pick you up at the office and things like that.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I just don't see how you can lie your way
- 58:09Speaker 1: out of this. I will say this, don't tell him everything,
- 58:14Speaker 1: So come clean, but not all the way clean. Um.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I mean, this man is paying you for your services,
- 58:21Speaker 1: and I can only mean you know think that you
- 58:23Speaker 1: mean sexual services. I think your husband is getting a
- 58:26Speaker 1: bit suspicious. What are you doing around the house or
- 58:29Speaker 1: what are you doing differently now? So he's getting a
- 58:32Speaker 1: little suspicious. He wants to know what you're doing or
- 58:34Speaker 1: somebody said something. So I say to you, you got
- 58:38Speaker 1: to tell your husband something you have to. I mean,
- 58:40Speaker 1: this is crazy. You've been married a whole year and
- 58:43Speaker 1: you're keeping this big life from him, especially if it's
- 58:45Speaker 1: sexual services, and you need to stop that immediately. So
- 58:48Speaker 1: tell your husband that you work for a man. Don't
- 58:52Speaker 1: tell him everything that you're giving him sexual services. Steve, surely,
- 58:58Speaker 1: I don't know what you read. Now, where is services
- 59:03Speaker 1: in this letter? Where did I miss it? It's in
- 59:05Speaker 1: the title. He pays me for his services for my services.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Pays me for myself for my services. Now did we
- 59:13Speaker 1: write the subject of this letter? Because in the letter
- 59:18Speaker 1: I see something else, and I'll tell you what I mean. No,
- 59:22Speaker 1: we didn't write the subject. She did. This is her
- 59:25Speaker 1: pay for my services. See here in the letter. Here
- 59:29Speaker 1: go problems. First of all, let's just start with cable
- 59:32Speaker 1: board making four hundred a week. Just pay the car.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Note that's where the damn problem right there, cable boy
- 59:43Speaker 1: pull it in full hunted and just paying the car. Note,
- 59:49Speaker 1: this ain't the red. This ain't you know, groceries, the
- 59:55Speaker 1: Saint al Heaton saying electricity, This ain't gas, This is
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: no clothing. This's the problem right here. See the full hunted.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: They call that college student money now ful hunter. If
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you're want to come up, I understand I ain't knocking
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: it at all. But the full hunter creating a problem
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: for you because you knew when you got married you
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: didn't want the full hunted a week. So now cable
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: boy is the problem. My husband worked for a cable company.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: He gets four hundred week and they just take care
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: of cordor. So now let me tell you how I'm
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the breadwinner. I'm seeing this older guy. Let's stop right there,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: older guy. What does older guy stand for? It stands
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: for sugar dad who pays me to be his chaperone.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: This ain't the prom when in Bible summer school chaperon
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: m where do he need help getting to? Or how
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: old is he? Unless here you nursing him? Chaperone is
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: a deceptive term. Then she says, comma clean his house,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: then comma e tc. Etcetera. Yeah, that's where we must
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: come to terms with what you're doing. It's the etcetera
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: that's getting the money chaperone and don't really pay it,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: don't pay it up. How is cleaning is limited? How's
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: cleaning you down with the same money, cable board maker.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: All you over there doing is cleaning house. But you're
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: cleaning molding the house. M you all up in cracks, crannits, cravit. Yeah,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: that's the type of cleaning you're doing. And oh, by
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the way, this guy paid for my wedding a year ago.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I'm a father with four daughters.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I didn't paid for to win. I know how much
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: winds cost. Now for this older man to have you
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: chaperon and cleaning the house and et cetera. And paying
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: for winds? Do you know the monkey flips that you're
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: in there doing. You guys to be in there doing
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: some things naked that can't be printed. That's why this
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: led us so damn shot. And then come talking about
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: yes he knows about my husband. You just said he
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: paid for the wind. Try to throw us off with
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: your letter. Then you just ain't paid for the wind.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Don't try to throw us off of what you do.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Let's get back to this etc. Because that's what this
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: let about, so etcetera. What is etcetera. Well, let's explore
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the words. He stands for extra. You're doing way moding
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: cleaning house lady, you're doing way way moding. Chaperone, you
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: doing extra? What does the T me too. You're doing
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: all this to him yet extra too, and then C
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: E T C you're doing all this extra to him

- 1:04:30Speaker 1: You though exactly what is yourway here being sensitive about
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: my side of the letter. I don't know my mind
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: when you was talking. Mm hmm, listen to me. This
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: older man didn't pay me. This woman's with right, she's
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: saying here over they're doing chores, cleaning the house, chaperon.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Don't know what the hell letting mean? We ain't kid
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: and eat E C mm hmmm. E stands for extra. Yeah,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: that's more than anybody else. That's above and beyond what
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: anybody else would do? Think or won't you coming there
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: with extra? That's the E N extra E T C
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: is the acronym stands for extra, T is too. You

- 1:06:34Speaker 1: And now he's starting to ask questions about my job
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and wants to come pick me up for lunch one
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: day soon. Well, won't he be surprised? Yeah, when he
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: put up at this old man house. Yeah, and you
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and it ain't exactly dressed like a lawyer, but years

- 1:07:05Speaker 1: come clean with my husband? Please help me, lady, come clean.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: You won't have a marriage anymore. You got to do
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: what all men would do, all real men in this
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: situation becaus where ladies. I wrote the book, Act like
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: a lady, think like a man. Now is your opportunity
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to do the one thing that all men would do.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Lie just as you have lied before. See rule number
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: one to lie. Ride your lie all the way out.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Don't shoot, Let no by d talk you off that lie.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You work at a law firm and you are the

- 1:08:08Speaker 1: man's house. You need to read. Yes, you gotta get
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: some horn, real glasses with a chain on, and you
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: got to start playing the role. What you can't do
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: is tell this young boy that you've been in there

- 1:09:08Speaker 1: beat you on the court. And now yeah, now she's
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: really upset. And remember Romania national coach Ellien Nastasi from
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: back in the day. Uh, he was a tennis grade
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: back in the seventies. He's been causing a ruckus recently
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: on the Federation Cup matches. He's going after umpires. He's
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: getting accuses of sexual harassment. But he's saved the words
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: for a comment about Serena's unborn child. She is pregnant, uh,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: saying let's see what color it has? Chocolate with milk? Oh?
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: She replied on Instagram, Serena, did it disappoints me to
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: know that we live in a society where people like
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Nastasi Elien Nastasi can can make such racist comments towards
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: myself and my unborn child and sexist comments against my peers.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Did he say afterwards? Though? Didn't. I was watching something
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: but I couldn't listen to it because he was over.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: He's made a comeback, coming, that's work. He made a comeback. Oh,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I don't know what to commack. I didn't see that. Yeah,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I was looking up on trelife, but I had to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: cut it off. Robert Mead was saying the other guys,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Robert Mead was saying that his comeback made it even worse.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: He was trying to apologize and clean it up. Maybe, yeah,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I don't know where he said, somebody trying to find that,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: saying she's really new five months. I think, like, yeah,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I hope, I hope she has a little girl. That
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: would be very not a boy. Well, you do not
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: want a little boy with a like mama. You just
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: don't want that. It's not that you're going with this
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: a little fettle, but on your boy, Tommy got one.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: But Hi, Hi, I'm gonna hope you like New York. Rent.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, uh yeah, Hey,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: we got a problem with the guys to Janitor that's
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: here in the y'all here in the building. I got
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it the night janitor, Mr Mr Vivan you know what
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I'm talking about? Dude to be who we get in? Yeah,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: that guy he complained about. I don't know what are
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: he complaining, But hey, how y'all knowing I didn't don't
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: have no complaints. And I know you're waking. I didn't
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: want to take too much of your time, Miss che Timmy,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Steve Junior, Color everybody. But at something they're going on, Hey,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: how you doing that? You had to get back I'm watching, Yeah, yes,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I'm watching the floor in the hall, and I want
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to just runny things at your head, Yes, sir, Okay,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: you just gonna be quick, Yeah, yeah, I understand. I
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: just want to get this out of the way. The
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: related first, Can I talk about the men's restroom. There's
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: a lot I don't know, mittle hobby. I don't think
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: there's even trying to hit the yanna at all. The
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: yanna they're straight peeping on the floor. It's just nasty
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: and sticky everywhere. That's that's just one of the problems
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: in the men's restroom. That the men's red room now
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: in the latest redroom, is a whole another problem. I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: don't like going in there. There's some things I've seen
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: that I don't even know what. It just blened my
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: eyes the things. I don't know where these things go.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I don't know how to use these things. I don't
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: know what they belonged to. Last week, let me here
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: at last week, I was in there and there was
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: something on the floor the size of a chapstick, right,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: but it was moving all around, it was jumping. It
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: was just jumping everywhere, right, just jumping like that. It
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: looked like the chapstick, but it was just jumping and
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I don't know. They had batteries into the something. I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: don't know what it was. And so I shot it
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: because it's late. You never know who come up in here.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Buffing equipment called a lot of money, and I've been down,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: somebody's gonna walk up on me, you know what I mean.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Don't play that puffet equipment called a lot of money
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and all the wax and he's buffet. Buffet folk will
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: see that stuff. But back to the chapstick. It was
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: by the size of a chapstick, right, and I hoarded
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and it just knocking, knocking, knocking, damn. So I went
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: in there and it was on the floor right, We're
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: just jumping everywhere, and I said, I, lord, I hain't
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: never seen that lay. I never seen a live chapstick
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: like that. I'd never eat one like that. So I
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: shot it. Yeah, I don't know who would belonged to.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: And the amounts of toilet people that they're using in there,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: it's not it's not wrong with it at all. It's
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: just balled up like the size of basketballs. It's just huge, huge.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Watch just throw it away and if you can, if
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: you can speak to the mend to not your unned
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: on the floe and the women not to bring live chapsick.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: So you're going back to the way. I got stuff
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: to do and then can you tell whoever that? But
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: it don't too I'm sorry. I shot the chaps puts
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you carry a gun though? Yeah? Uh? How often you
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: playing on break? I mean he just stops in and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: let you know what's going on in the building, you know.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: So that's that's just giving us the four one one
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: on what are you going through right now? But I
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: really want to know who chapstick that is. Hey, don't
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: look at me. I got out of there just to
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: keep the ignance going, Okay. J Anthony Brown brought us
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: up murdered hits cut today. That was truly more ignorant
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: than I would normally lie on this shop. It is
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: a new level of ignance. This is a remake, Oh

- 1:16:09Speaker 1: up with their fingers broke you're looking like a toop cero.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: How old a microphone seals hands selose hands all his
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: fingers share one nuggle seals hands. Make just watch the
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: biggest helm. See loose hands make a six inch of
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: look for long. I said, brother, I'm you're being fan
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: if you want my favorite jam bill. A man just
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: had to slam. See loose hands in the hands the
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: hands seals hands shop the gloves and kids department. See
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: loose hands help him count ten real fast. See loose
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: hands make white castles look like big match. They say
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: he got looper trades. It's about the size gradge read
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: his palm and second strange him and John McCain played Pattycake.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: It might creeping me up, but I'm gonna shape. See
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: loose hands him hands my hands read m or seconds.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: But what is it? Read his palm in seconds? The
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: seconds man Johnny came Pattycake. I just said, we love
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: seelow though we live very nicely. I'm gonna look at
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: this and you know what happens when you meet him, Steve,
