- 1:05Speaker 1: hur you got to turn to turn them out, got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out, turn the water the water, yall,
- 1:55Speaker 1: come come on your baby. H huh, I shall will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come off
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve hardy Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Wow man, how good has God been
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me? You know? Today? Let me get right to
- 2:16Speaker 1: it because I'm I'm kind of feeling this today, and
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's just quite a few of you
- 2:22Speaker 1: who go through the same things today. Today was just
- 2:27Speaker 1: a little tough morning for me because I didn't want
- 2:30Speaker 1: to leave home yesterday. You know, I wanted to stay
- 2:32Speaker 1: home a little. I'd just gotten home, you know, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: gotta go again. And sometimes, you know, just the weight
- 2:39Speaker 1: of all that you have to do just gets on
- 2:41Speaker 1: you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel like doing it today. Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:51Speaker 1: way every now and then, and I'm assuming that would
- 2:53Speaker 1: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:56Speaker 1: ply through this thing without having those days. Well, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: do you do when it gets hard to stay up?
- 3:04Speaker 1: What do you do when it gets hard to be positive?
- 3:09Speaker 1: What do you do when it seems like things aren't
- 3:12Speaker 1: happening for you fast enough or in the time frame
- 3:16Speaker 1: that you thought it was going. What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 1: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 1: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:24Speaker 1: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain. It's
- 3:30Speaker 1: nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: the weight of all that's going on started to feel
- 3:43Speaker 1: heavy to me. And so what do you do when
- 3:48Speaker 1: when you have days like that, when it's hard to
- 3:50Speaker 1: be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay, here's
- 3:53Speaker 1: what I had to start doing this morning. Now I
- 3:56Speaker 1: haven't completed it. Can I just be real with your
- 4:00Speaker 1: haven't completed it, but I am processing it out because
- 4:05Speaker 1: I know what to do. You know, been there, done that,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I didn't had that pain before. I know what to do.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, if I sprain my finger, I know what
- 4:12Speaker 1: to do now. You know the first sprain I had,
- 4:14Speaker 1: O Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought I
- 4:16Speaker 1: got me handac half. But now if I spray my finger,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I know what to do. So since I've been in
- 4:21Speaker 1: this position, in this hole so many times before, and
- 4:24Speaker 1: God has always gotten me through it, I decided I've
- 4:27Speaker 1: got to start the process today. Want to hear are
- 4:31Speaker 1: some things Now, I'm gonna get to the big one last.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And one of the things I do is I remember
- 4:40Speaker 1: the plan, sit down, and I consciously think about the
- 4:44Speaker 1: goals I've set. I go over them. See, I've gotten
- 4:47Speaker 1: mine down on an iPad so I can pull them
- 4:50Speaker 1: out anywhere I am and pull them up. And I've
- 4:53Speaker 1: got two lists that I've made. I've got a list
- 4:56Speaker 1: of things that I know I can accomplish if I
- 4:58Speaker 1: just keep working hard, and if some couple of things
- 5:02Speaker 1: just fall into place that I can see. Then I
- 5:05Speaker 1: got a list of things that I'm planning on accomplishing.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And then I have a second list. And the heading
- 5:12Speaker 1: of this list is called only God can help me now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And on this list it's things that I'm aspiring for
- 5:20Speaker 1: or things that I'm hoping to that in order for
- 5:23Speaker 1: them to happen, I absolutely have to have God's help.
- 5:29Speaker 1: That's my favorite list. It's the list that I have
- 5:34Speaker 1: of the things that I don't see no way it
- 5:37Speaker 1: can happen. I'm just operating on faith and the hope
- 5:41Speaker 1: that God hear me, and so sometimes, man, when you
- 5:46Speaker 1: gotta when I have this list of what only God
- 5:49Speaker 1: can help me, now, that list is stuff that I
- 5:52Speaker 1: cannot see. I'm just operating on faith that God is
- 5:57Speaker 1: so much bigger than me, that he's so much more
- 6:00Speaker 1: capable than I am, that I can actually acquire some
- 6:04Speaker 1: things in my life, as He's proven to me time
- 6:06Speaker 1: and time again up to this point, that He's willing
- 6:09Speaker 1: to do for me. If I'm willing to just give
- 6:11Speaker 1: him some of my life. That's the only way I
- 6:14Speaker 1: can't explain my existence today. You know, I began the
- 6:18Speaker 1: conversation with my wife, how do I write a book
- 6:21Speaker 1: that becomes so wildly successful? That would be God. That's
- 6:26Speaker 1: only God, Because if you can plan to sit down
- 6:29Speaker 1: and write a wildly successful book, I'd have Benden sat
- 6:32Speaker 1: down and did it, and so would you, So that
- 6:36Speaker 1: would be God. How it got purchased to become a
- 6:39Speaker 1: movie when that was not my intent when I wrote
- 6:42Speaker 1: the book at all. Again, that would be God, right,
- 6:46Speaker 1: there has to be, because if I can't explain it
- 6:50Speaker 1: and it is by no doing of my own, then
- 6:53Speaker 1: who did it? So when I get down in days
- 6:56Speaker 1: like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I remember the journey. I think about of all the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things God has bought me to how did I even
- 7:05Speaker 1: get to this point. Yeah. I might be having a
- 7:07Speaker 1: little bummer of a day. Yeah I was a little
- 7:09Speaker 1: down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms is off, whatever they
- 7:12Speaker 1: want to call it. Yeah, I'm just having one of
- 7:15Speaker 1: those days. I feel a little bit heavy. I need
- 7:17Speaker 1: a vacation real bad. I need some time off to
- 7:20Speaker 1: just go and regenerate. But right now, man, I ain't
- 7:23Speaker 1: got that. So guess what I do. I gotta start
- 7:26Speaker 1: remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: gotta start thinking about all the things that God has
- 7:32Speaker 1: done for me and how He has bought me this
- 7:34Speaker 1: far and the blessings that I have instead of what
- 7:37Speaker 1: I don't have. And that's what I'm in the process
- 7:39Speaker 1: of doing this morning, and on the commercial breaks, I'm
- 7:42Speaker 1: gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go over
- 7:44Speaker 1: my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little list
- 7:46Speaker 1: of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm gonna
- 7:49Speaker 1: really read that only God can help Me now list,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:54Speaker 1: I've been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how
- 7:58Speaker 1: big your problems are, and start telling your problems how
- 8:01Speaker 1: big your God is. See. And that's why I got
- 8:04Speaker 1: to sit down to do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:11Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
- 8:19Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 8:22Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you get
- 8:25Speaker 1: that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And then
- 8:28Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now
- 8:37Speaker 1: you're in a fight now, So trying to get you
- 8:39Speaker 1: to get on that positive train so he can get
- 8:41Speaker 1: you off the faith train. So God's delivery package. That's
- 8:45Speaker 1: coming to you built on your faith that you can
- 8:47Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 8:49Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See. So when you start
- 8:52Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 8:55Speaker 1: to throw your off track. And when you get through
- 8:57Speaker 1: it all that he is the key, the big one.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You want me tell it to you. You gots to pray, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: You got to pray. You gotta take it to God.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm having one of
- 9:07Speaker 1: these days. I need your help. I got business to
- 9:09Speaker 1: take care of. You got blessings in front of me.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You got stuff you to ship to me. You got
- 9:14Speaker 1: blessings and packages that's on the way. I need to
- 9:16Speaker 1: be sitting on Faith streets so I can receive the
- 9:18Speaker 1: delivery when you get there. What I don't want to
- 9:21Speaker 1: do is be it on be on doubted Way or
- 9:25Speaker 1: or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway or some
- 9:30Speaker 1: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 9:33Speaker 1: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street so
- 9:36Speaker 1: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 9:38Speaker 1: go on and get it. You feel me. You got
- 9:41Speaker 1: to pray. You got to stay still, you gotta fight
- 9:44Speaker 1: to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You gotta
- 9:47Speaker 1: go over the goals. Come on, man, God and brought
- 9:49Speaker 1: you too far. Come on, pick yourself up today. I'm

- 15:16Speaker 1: we go. This one is from Sherry and Charlotte. Sherry writes,
- 15:20Speaker 1: I'm a twenty seven year old single woman, and I
- 15:22Speaker 1: keep attracting broke bums that pretend to have their stuff
- 15:26Speaker 1: together but eventually end up living with their mama, or
- 15:29Speaker 1: sharing a car with their baby mama, or something crazy
- 15:32Speaker 1: like that. I've met men at work, at church and
- 15:35Speaker 1: even been hooked up by people, and it's always an
- 15:38Speaker 1: issue with them. And it's not just black men either.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Why are men like this? It's too much to expect
- 15:44Speaker 1: a man to pay for dinner? Is it too much?
- 15:46Speaker 1: You're not looking. You're not looking for the signs of brokeness.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You're not looking out there everywhere they're all over looking
- 15:54Speaker 1: his mouth and his teeth all jacked up. He broke,
- 15:57Speaker 1: he broke. He you don't hand him. Look at his shoes.
- 16:00Speaker 1: If the shoes that he constantly wears the same damn
- 16:03Speaker 1: pair of shoes. He ain't got no money. He don't
- 16:06Speaker 1: have no money. If every time y'all go to eat,
- 16:09Speaker 1: he had you have to lean over him to make
- 16:12Speaker 1: your order for food, he ain't got no money. You know,
- 16:15Speaker 1: if y'all always at a window the order food, he
- 16:18Speaker 1: ain't got no money. You are not looking for the
- 16:22Speaker 1: broke signs and a man that the signs and let
- 16:25Speaker 1: you know he don't. You got something else that you
- 16:29Speaker 1: If you got to climb in the car on his
- 16:31Speaker 1: side here, yeah, you're getting in first on his side.
- 16:35Speaker 1: He opened the door for you. But if there's duct
- 16:38Speaker 1: tape on any part of his car anywhere. Just walk
- 16:42Speaker 1: around the car and he might not have duct tape.
- 16:46Speaker 1: He might have that clear rid seller thing for a light.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You know, he don't have no money. Was crying, all right,
- 16:56Speaker 1: we're moving on horizon. Birmingham says. My wife and I
- 16:59Speaker 1: run it the trip to Jamaica, and I couldn't go
- 17:01Speaker 1: because of work, so she took my oldest daughter with her.
- 17:05Speaker 1: My wife got home and complained that my daughter was
- 17:07Speaker 1: out all night every night with bad hangovers. The next day,
- 17:10Speaker 1: she said, my daughter came home looking a hot mess,
- 17:13Speaker 1: like she had been rolling around in a barrel. I
- 17:15Speaker 1: can't help but think she was with some of the natives,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and how dangerous that can be. She's thirty years old,
- 17:20Speaker 1: So should I talk to her about it or let
- 17:23Speaker 1: her live her own life? That's oh man, they don't
- 17:27Speaker 1: be called natives. They're not called natives. Okay, they don't
- 17:31Speaker 1: want to be called natives all. They don't like that name.
- 17:34Speaker 1: That's the first thing, you know. Yeah, like a crazy man.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You know, your daughter want to rule around with me.
- 17:40Speaker 1: She can't rule around with me. She come over here
- 17:43Speaker 1: to have a good time. I'm giving a good time
- 17:45Speaker 1: to rule around in the sun. You know, eat some planting,
- 17:48Speaker 1: eat some beads and rice. You don't make a problem.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You can't go, You wan't here. So what now you
- 17:54Speaker 1: complain as one here? Now you complain, you send them
- 17:58Speaker 1: by yourself too fine, Just women man with dead box
- 18:01Speaker 1: side all out in the sun every day and you're
- 18:04Speaker 1: making mad. Oh man, you're a crazy man. You're crazy
- 18:08Speaker 1: ass man. They're looking at good night and the beach
- 18:11Speaker 1: up put coconut oil and the butt every day and
- 18:14Speaker 1: now you come playing your make complainment. You're a stupid
- 18:19Speaker 1: man for sitting him here. That's what we do here.
- 18:22Speaker 1: We look who be body seth You say, oh man,
- 18:25Speaker 1: we get that one there cooking it alone. And the
- 18:27Speaker 1: feat man suck a tool every night. It like when
- 18:32Speaker 1: you suck a tool. Okay, you know what I think.
- 18:36Speaker 1: We're moving on here. Your Salmon Texas, Yeah, Salmon Texas
- 18:40Speaker 1: says I'm a natural born gambler and I always hit
- 18:42Speaker 1: my numbers. But I'm dating a new woman that has
- 18:45Speaker 1: me all messed up and affecting my luck. I love
- 18:48Speaker 1: her and I'm thinking about marrying her, but I recently
- 18:51Speaker 1: had a string of bad luck. When I took her
- 18:53Speaker 1: to the casino with me. I also let her go
- 18:55Speaker 1: inside the convenience store to get my scratch off, and
- 18:58Speaker 1: she bought back losing to she brought back losers. Am
- 19:02Speaker 1: I just losing my touch? Is this woman's moja off? Please?
- 19:06Speaker 1: So we gotta go to Junior one more time to
- 19:09Speaker 1: sing the Kenny penned red sound bad luck, you got
- 19:12Speaker 1: bad luck, hit died, Junior hitted Junior, you got bad luck.
- 19:20Speaker 1: So he don't know that from Jack He don't. He
- 19:23Speaker 1: don't let me give you got bad luck. That's what
- 19:29Speaker 1: you got. That's what he got. Bad The woman is
- 19:32Speaker 1: bad love, sir, bad you got bad luck. That's what
- 19:35Speaker 1: you got, what you got. So yeah, he don't know,
- 19:41Speaker 1: he don't know. He can't go back there. But I
- 19:43Speaker 1: like it. Junior, I like, yeah, he don't know anything
- 19:49Speaker 1: from that. He was all out of that key. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: mean that key was like all right, here we go
- 19:58Speaker 1: Destiny and Jacksonville quickly. I'm a senior in college and
- 20:01Speaker 1: I moved into my own apartment. My boyfriend is living
- 20:04Speaker 1: with me, but my parents don't know it. They'll stop
- 20:06Speaker 1: paying my rent if they find out. I think my
- 20:09Speaker 1: boyfriend should be paying the rent so I can be
- 20:11Speaker 1: honest with my parents. I've asked him what am I
- 20:13Speaker 1: supposed to do when they come to visit, and he
- 20:15Speaker 1: said he'll stay somewhere else temporarily. Is he afraid to

- 27:31Speaker 1: wife told you to call me right? Come right? Okay,
- 27:33Speaker 1: But but listen to me. Whis what my wife don't proud? No,
- 27:39Speaker 1: she wanted me to call ya. I'm nephew Tommy from
- 27:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harkin Morning and show y'all rong for that,
- 27:50Speaker 1: y'all roll for that doll. You know now you wrong
- 27:53Speaker 1: for that dog. He said to go to Jocket, the
- 27:57Speaker 1: heir out of whoever came. I'm do you, oh man,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you dude, you you, oh man, Hey man. I got
- 28:09Speaker 1: one more thing to ask you, Winston. What's the baddest
- 28:11Speaker 1: that I mean, the baddest radio show in the land.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Do you already know what the business is? Man? The
- 28:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show player. You know, I don't know
- 28:23Speaker 1: where he gets this stuff from. Too much, he plays
- 28:31Speaker 1: too much. Call somebody up and tell him. Ro man
- 28:33Speaker 1: that's married, probably been married for years. I've been dreaming
- 28:36Speaker 1: of your wife. That's what they don't put on them
- 28:39Speaker 1: the headstone. Here lies a man who played too much. Right,
- 28:47Speaker 1: nailed that one, Jay, That's what you do. But that
- 28:53Speaker 1: is his thing. That's what he do. He do what
- 28:56Speaker 1: he do. That's how you do that better, Tommy. Tommy's
- 29:01Speaker 1: under the weather today with his cold, he says. We'll
- 29:09Speaker 1: see about that. Coming up by the top of the hour.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson will be our special guest. Right after this.
- 29:17Speaker 1: You're listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 29:22Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, our special guest this morning is a
- 29:25Speaker 1: living legend at her very young age. Okay, from the
- 29:29Speaker 1: great city of Chicago. We're all from Chicago, we have
- 29:33Speaker 1: that in common. As a matter of fact, she is
- 29:36Speaker 1: an Academy Award winning actress also a Grammy winning singer.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Grammy Award winning singer. That is so major to have
- 29:43Speaker 1: both of those accolades. She's making her blockbuster return to
- 29:47Speaker 1: the big screen in our role as a Queen of
- 29:51Speaker 1: Soul Aretha Franklin in the movie Respect. She also has
- 29:57Speaker 1: the only original song in the movie. It's a titled
- 30:00Speaker 1: Here I Am. Please. Let's find out more about the movie.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It is in theaters tomorrow. Please get on your feet
- 30:07Speaker 1: and welcome to the show the Princess of Soul. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: know because I follow her on. I gee, Miss Jennifer Hudson,
- 30:15Speaker 1: Miss Jennifer Hudson. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you, queen. We're
- 30:21Speaker 1: following you. Queen, yank you, thank you. Welcome the Queen.
- 30:29Speaker 1: They need the Princess or something, but thank you. You
- 30:33Speaker 1: are all of that, you really are, Jennifer. We're going
- 30:36Speaker 1: to just jump right into it. Respect. The movie is
- 30:40Speaker 1: the true story of the legendary star Rita Franklin to
- 30:43Speaker 1: journey to find her voice in the midst of the
- 30:46Speaker 1: turbulent social and political landscape of nineteen sixties America. In
- 30:51Speaker 1: case you didn't know, so, I gotta ask you this,
- 30:54Speaker 1: how excited were you to be asked to star by
- 30:57Speaker 1: the Queen of Soul herself? How excited were you? I mean,
- 31:01Speaker 1: what an honor. I know, I am still in and excited,
- 31:07Speaker 1: and I mean it's it's beyond because it was also
- 31:10Speaker 1: a dream of mine to want to play her soul,
- 31:13Speaker 1: and then for her to say she wanted you to
- 31:14Speaker 1: play her it's I'm still taking it in. You know,
- 31:17Speaker 1: it's nothing you get to take lightly. So it's like,
- 31:19Speaker 1: did this really just happened? Did I do this? You know?
- 31:22Speaker 1: And and you know, so it's a lot I can
- 31:27Speaker 1: only imagine, especially if she herself asked you, and you know,
- 31:32Speaker 1: as we read her biography and everything, all Aretha Franklin,
- 31:36Speaker 1: every one, it was respect so there could be no
- 31:39Speaker 1: other title for this movie. And I got to ask
- 31:42Speaker 1: you this, how did miss Franklin, the Queen of Soul,
- 31:45Speaker 1: impact your life in your career? Oh? My god, She's
- 31:49Speaker 1: been such a huge pack and a blueprint everything, like
- 31:52Speaker 1: even grown up in church thinking that's what I grew
- 31:56Speaker 1: singing in church, singing amazing Grace. And then I didn't
- 31:58Speaker 1: realize until we were something like women that her arrangement
- 32:00Speaker 1: of amazing Grace too. She her song was my American
- 32:04Speaker 1: Idol audition song, my American Idles fourth song. So she's
- 32:07Speaker 1: always been a blueprint. And then I've been blessed to
- 32:09Speaker 1: be able to tribute her, I don't know, numerous times
- 32:12Speaker 1: throughout my career, and then also develop a relationship with
- 32:14Speaker 1: her as well. So and then she became more of
- 32:17Speaker 1: a friend of mother figure and just someone that's just
- 32:20Speaker 1: been in my life personally as well. So she's been
- 32:24Speaker 1: a huge heads had a huge impact in a blueprint
- 32:26Speaker 1: for me. Yeah, I can only imagine, and yeah, I
- 32:31Speaker 1: mean here, you are an Academy Award winning actress. You
- 32:35Speaker 1: get a call? Is that how it happened? You got
- 32:37Speaker 1: a call from Aretha asking you to play her. We
- 32:43Speaker 1: had our first meeting fifteen years ago, right afou one
- 32:46Speaker 1: of my oppertuputuring girls about me portraying her, And we
- 32:49Speaker 1: were in New York and she said, what's your side?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Something else? I'm sitting at the table with the Queen
- 32:54Speaker 1: of song. I mean, oh my god. That was the
- 32:56Speaker 1: initial meeting and then she called me a few about
- 32:59Speaker 1: eight years I was on Broadway and she said, I've
- 33:02Speaker 1: made my decision and it is you who I want
- 33:04Speaker 1: to play me young lady. So it's always been thin
- 33:06Speaker 1: in the back of my mind, like okay, um, just
- 33:10Speaker 1: having it in mind of portraying her one day and
- 33:12Speaker 1: every tribute I would look at as my audition for
- 33:15Speaker 1: the role. M Well, what is your favorite Aretha Franklin song? Question?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Because I'm a saying first okay, um, oh oh me,
- 33:24Speaker 1: oh my um. Of course, ain't the way I thought
- 33:27Speaker 1: for that to be in the film. And also I
- 33:30Speaker 1: love All the King's Horses. That's another one of my favorites. Yes, okay.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Jennifer so her album Young Black, rock Steady, that is
- 33:41Speaker 1: my favorite song of all time. When I hear rock Steady,
- 33:45Speaker 1: everybody knows I will go crazy, just the lyrics. I
- 33:50Speaker 1: need to see you do this girl. I go absolutely
- 33:56Speaker 1: crazy over that song. So that's what you know. Shirley
- 33:59Speaker 1: was talking about our favorite songs and rock Steady is
- 34:02Speaker 1: that one for me? All respect all? Yes, because her voice,
- 34:09Speaker 1: her voice was so distinctive. She's my favorite thing. Remarkable.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Can you talk about that? Her voice? She was annointment,
- 34:21Speaker 1: hands down, like you can't be taught that. That was
- 34:24Speaker 1: a gift from God and it is her calling and
- 34:27Speaker 1: it obviously all her own and to me, the most
- 34:30Speaker 1: amazing thing. It's like, how often do you run across
- 34:33Speaker 1: artists or she's beyond an artist that that is one
- 34:37Speaker 1: hundred percent great in every area, like vocally, the greatest vocalist.
- 34:41Speaker 1: And then she's a really amazing musician as well, and songwriter,
- 34:45Speaker 1: and it goes on and on annoying, you know, like
- 34:47Speaker 1: she was music, yeah, and that was a gift. So
- 34:51Speaker 1: she was gifted. That was she's anointed and that was
- 34:54Speaker 1: her calling, you know. Yeah. And Jennifer, you have an
- 34:57Speaker 1: original song in the movie Respect called Here I Am
- 35:02Speaker 1: Singing My Way Home. It's featured on the soundtrack. Of course,
- 35:06Speaker 1: tell us about the song and how that came about, please, Well, thankfully,
- 35:12Speaker 1: Jamie Harman was who was the songwriter on the song,
- 35:14Speaker 1: came up with the idea that Carol King should write it.
- 35:17Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god, this is genius.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Of course Carol King, because Carol King wrote The Natural Woman, right,
- 35:23Speaker 1: So it's like and her and Arepa Wood, you know,
- 35:25Speaker 1: they had their relationship as well, and so we just
- 35:27Speaker 1: sat and spoke from our experiences with her, and that's
- 35:31Speaker 1: where the song here I Am came from. And then
- 35:33Speaker 1: the singing my Way Home part. Carol said, Jennifer, you
- 35:36Speaker 1: have to write on this, and that's my church roots
- 35:39Speaker 1: coming in and the introduction. And I always say I'm
- 35:42Speaker 1: singing my way home, and who can't say that. Arepa
- 35:44Speaker 1: didn't sing her way home, you know, so I thought
- 35:46Speaker 1: that was very befitting to have that as the bowl,
- 35:50Speaker 1: you know, to put the cherry on top, and tribute
- 35:52Speaker 1: to her in film by having Carol King write it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: The title tracks for the film Wow Marl with Jennifer
- 35:59Speaker 1: had at twenty minutes after the hour, right after this
- 36:03Speaker 1: you're listening to show, all right, we are having girl
- 36:08Speaker 1: talk with our girl, Jennifer Hudson, the Princess of soul.
- 36:13Speaker 1: You know. The other thing about Areta was her fashion sense.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I love the way she dressed. How much fun did
- 36:19Speaker 1: you have in the movie with the fashions, Jennifer, I
- 36:22Speaker 1: had a ball. I had eighty three costume changes and
- 36:25Speaker 1: eleven wei changes. Made me feel that much more like, oh,
- 36:31Speaker 1: this is what the queens feel like, because they had
- 36:33Speaker 1: me feeling really royal and queenlike and our mind. Of
- 36:36Speaker 1: my favorite looks was her birthday is it's the same
- 36:39Speaker 1: from her birthday And I was like, who puts this home?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, so their birthday the Queen of soul
- 36:44Speaker 1: is it this big old fur home and this golden
- 36:47Speaker 1: dress is beautiful. And Clint Raymos is the costumem and
- 36:51Speaker 1: Laurence Davis did the hare and Stevie did the makeup.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Like everybody put their hearts into this project is a
- 36:56Speaker 1: passion project for us all. Another Oscar winner, Forrest Whittaker
- 37:01Speaker 1: stars as I Read the Franklin's Father, Reverend cl Franklin.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Mary J. Blige is in and of course Marlin Wayne
- 37:08Speaker 1: plays Wayans plays your husband. Tell us about their roles
- 37:11Speaker 1: in the movie, Oh my god, well this is my
- 37:13Speaker 1: third time playing for his daughter. He just makes to
- 37:17Speaker 1: step your game up, like all of us as students
- 37:20Speaker 1: instantly when he's on the set. So we're just really
- 37:23Speaker 1: trying to absorb and learn from him. It's he takes
- 37:27Speaker 1: cl to another level and really captures that Mary J. Blige, y'all.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Like I'm like Okay, wait a minute on set, like,
- 37:33Speaker 1: so you got Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson play
- 37:36Speaker 1: Diana Diana Washington and read the Franklin like, I mean,
- 37:40Speaker 1: it's like, what is that? You know what? I mean?
- 37:42Speaker 1: To have her there, I couldn't imagine anybody else playing
- 37:45Speaker 1: a role. And then Marlon Wayans like people are going
- 37:48Speaker 1: to see him like they've never seen him before. When
- 37:51Speaker 1: my son got done watching him, he's like, I want
- 37:52Speaker 1: to fight. I want to fight Marlin. He's like it
- 37:55Speaker 1: felt too real, you know, like he really brought tids
- 37:58Speaker 1: to life on screen. And always I was like, man,
- 38:01Speaker 1: Jamie Fox is like one of my favorite co stars.
- 38:04Speaker 1: But then I was like, but then Marlin might be
- 38:06Speaker 1: taking the title because Jamie didn't buy me gifts like Marlin.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I mean, I got I know Jamie saying songs in
- 38:18Speaker 1: between takes, but Marlin he brought me flowers, gives chocolates,
- 38:23Speaker 1: he picked my food on set like in between takes.
- 38:26Speaker 1: It was it was really a great experience working with
- 38:29Speaker 1: all of them, though. That be kind of interesting though
- 38:31Speaker 1: Jamie Fox and Marlon Wayam's both being comedian medians, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 1: playing these serious roles. That's unique. People are gonna be
- 38:40Speaker 1: really surprised by by Marlin. And then he did amazing,
- 38:45Speaker 1: so awesome to see him in a different capacity. Jennifer,
- 38:48Speaker 1: what do you think the Queen of Soul would say
- 38:50Speaker 1: about your performance? You know, the only hope and place
- 38:53Speaker 1: she would be pleasing. I know she would know it
- 38:55Speaker 1: was from the heart. And I was like, man, I'm
- 38:59Speaker 1: gonna do what you say. And that's how I was
- 39:01Speaker 1: able to get through it, like knowing that she gave
- 39:03Speaker 1: me the encouragement too, because other than that, I wouldn't
- 39:05Speaker 1: have been able to and I would have never did it.
- 39:07Speaker 1: And I think she would be pleased with that. But
- 39:08Speaker 1: one thing I know for sure, she would say, Now,
- 39:11Speaker 1: I'm the Queen of Sault. That's what she was saying.
- 39:13Speaker 1: It's like, yes, ma'am, we all know I play all right, Jennifer,
- 39:18Speaker 1: hang on if you could. Okay, we want to talk
- 39:20Speaker 1: more with you. Okay, we'll be back with our girl,
- 39:23Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson right after this. You're listening to show. Okay, Hey,
- 39:30Speaker 1: in case you didn't know, we are with our girl.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Carlin and I having a little girl chat this morning
- 39:36Speaker 1: with Jennifer Hudson, the star of the movie that opens
- 39:39Speaker 1: on Friday called Respect. I'm sure you've heard about it,
- 39:42Speaker 1: a little movie about the life of the Queen of Soul.
- 39:45Speaker 1: A Ratea Franklin. We're here with that girl, Jennifer, Jennifer Hudson.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I got a question to Jennifer, what could you say
- 39:55Speaker 1: to the younger generation of people that don't know all
- 39:59Speaker 1: of this history about the Queen of Soul? What would
- 40:02Speaker 1: you say and to encourage them to go see this
- 40:05Speaker 1: movie get the soundtrack so they can learn themselves something
- 40:08Speaker 1: about them Yeah? Wow, you know, I said, with a
- 40:14Speaker 1: bunch of boys all day. And I love that they
- 40:17Speaker 1: are now learning of her through the project and knowing
- 40:22Speaker 1: more about it, like because for all of us, we
- 40:24Speaker 1: all know the songs, but sometimes you don't know who
- 40:27Speaker 1: it is. And so I feel like that's the power
- 40:29Speaker 1: of biopics, and it's the bridge that teaches the next
- 40:32Speaker 1: generation of music and legends and icons like that. But
- 40:38Speaker 1: it's so much greatness and I feel like the biggest
- 40:40Speaker 1: takeaway I feel she would want them to have is
- 40:42Speaker 1: owning your own voice. And that's the undertone of this
- 40:45Speaker 1: because it wasn't until the Queen of Soul owned her
- 40:47Speaker 1: own voice that we got our queen of soul. So
- 40:49Speaker 1: if we all put the time to search within ourselves
- 40:52Speaker 1: and find our voice and own our voice, what can
- 40:54Speaker 1: get queen lives under there? So I think she would
- 40:57Speaker 1: be an inspiration into them. So finding that, Yes, what
- 41:00Speaker 1: did you find out about her that you didn't know?
- 41:02Speaker 1: I know you've been friends with her and everything, but
- 41:05Speaker 1: there had to be something that you learned. What was
- 41:07Speaker 1: that one takeaway? It was quite a few, But I
- 41:11Speaker 1: didn't realize how close she loved to doctor King and
- 41:15Speaker 1: even thinking of like the struggle, how involved she was
- 41:19Speaker 1: an activism and to know the cost of it, like
- 41:22Speaker 1: during that time, to see the courage and the bravery
- 41:26Speaker 1: that she had to us today listening to those songs, Oh,
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's a dope song with a dope artist, But when
- 41:32Speaker 1: you go back and you look at the circumstances and
- 41:34Speaker 1: the conditions that they lived through and that she went
- 41:37Speaker 1: through and still prevailed through to send up and be
- 41:40Speaker 1: an advocate and using our platforms the way she chose
- 41:43Speaker 1: to use a platform. She could have simply just been
- 41:45Speaker 1: an artist and a singer and didn't send up for
- 41:47Speaker 1: the people and become one with them and advocate for
- 41:51Speaker 1: the everyone in her position. But she did, and that's
- 41:53Speaker 1: power in that, and that's what makes her a she wrote.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say he wrote a she wrote, and
- 41:57Speaker 1: you can't help but to respect that that much more
- 42:00Speaker 1: when you see the conditions, in the circumstances and the
- 42:02Speaker 1: post of it all. Yes man, respect, yes man, I know, definitely.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I just she could do anything. She could absolutely do anything.
- 42:13Speaker 1: She's really good. She's really good. I think she will
- 42:16Speaker 1: inspire others to see that they can to as well.
- 42:18Speaker 1: You know, that's right, that's right. Well, Jennifer, this movie
- 42:22Speaker 1: I can't wait. Um. I think I told you off
- 42:24Speaker 1: the air that I haven't been this excited since Black
- 42:27Speaker 1: Panther to see a movie seriously and to see you
- 42:31Speaker 1: playing her. I don't think there was any other choice
- 42:34Speaker 1: to be made, but you quite frankly, you have the voice,
- 42:37Speaker 1: you have the acting chops. You know, we love you.
- 42:41Speaker 1: So I got there we go, Jennifer. So, what's been
- 42:43Speaker 1: going on? Mommy? You know, we know you got the movie, respect,
- 42:47Speaker 1: and you're working. But your personal life, how's your son?
- 42:51Speaker 1: What's going on? You know what? He well, he's just
- 42:55Speaker 1: hurnt here No twelve birth girl, and and he's going
- 43:00Speaker 1: to seventh grade. Going on to an example, he is
- 43:04Speaker 1: the sweetest kid ever. I'm a basketball mom, so when
- 43:07Speaker 1: I own my uh yes, I keep, I keep a
- 43:10Speaker 1: whole basketball team pretty much. I call it Camp David.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It's him his cousins. I have eight boys in the
- 43:16Speaker 1: house at one time, and everything is about basketball all day,
- 43:21Speaker 1: every day. Basketball in the bedroom. Basketball, you gotta room
- 43:24Speaker 1: in the bedroom and the pool in the garage. And
- 43:27Speaker 1: I played with them too, so I love, love, love
- 43:30Speaker 1: love going to their games. It's the best. Well, Jennifer,
- 43:34Speaker 1: we love you so much. We're so proud of you.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Congratulations and uh you may be up for another oscar
- 43:42Speaker 1: you just never know. I'm thinking that. Respect. You're so welcome.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Respect us in theater. It's nationwide tomorrow, and the Respect soundtrack,
- 43:55Speaker 1: with Jennifer's only original song in there here I Am
- 43:59Speaker 1: Singing My Way Home, will be available to download on
- 44:02Speaker 1: all platforms. Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together
- 44:06Speaker 1: for the one, the only Princess of soul herself, Jennifer Hudson.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Thank you all right. Coming up next, Junior is in
- 44:17Speaker 1: for the nephew with Today's Frank phone Call. Right after this,
- 44:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up

- 44:44Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us, Junior? Well, I

- 51:06Speaker 1: Hey man, your brother Jason told me the prank phone
- 51:10Speaker 1: call you man, god man, you know you know what
- 51:13Speaker 1: you said, tell him, I said, if that food came

- 54:01Speaker 1: So ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry lettter
- 54:04Speaker 1: with my good friend Shirley Strawberry. That's right. I get ready, Junior,
- 54:08Speaker 1: you're gonna respond to this one, and Jay is gonna
- 54:10Speaker 1: respond to this one. This one should be fun or
- 54:15Speaker 1: not subject he left me in another state. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'm in my mid forties and I've been married for
- 54:22Speaker 1: three years. I'm on the go. My husband drove me
- 54:24Speaker 1: to my hometown for one of my childhood friend's weddings.
- 54:28Speaker 1: We went to visit my parents before the festivities, and
- 54:31Speaker 1: then we checked into our hotel. Everything was cool and
- 54:35Speaker 1: we were having a good time until later that evening.
- 54:39Speaker 1: We went to the rehearsal dinner and I got to
- 54:41Speaker 1: see a lot of my old friends. I looked the
- 54:44Speaker 1: same as I did when I was twenty years old
- 54:46Speaker 1: and my friends havn't aged so well. When other males
- 54:52Speaker 1: gave me a compliment, my husband mumbled under his breath
- 54:55Speaker 1: or sucked his teeth real loud. I've never seen him
- 54:59Speaker 1: act like this, and he ignored me whenever I talked
- 55:02Speaker 1: to him, whenever I tried to talk to him. I
- 55:05Speaker 1: introduced him to my friends and he gave me a
- 55:07Speaker 1: fake He gave them a fake smile and turned his head.
- 55:10Speaker 1: We got into a big argument that night after he
- 55:13Speaker 1: called me a flirt and an attention whore. He told
- 55:17Speaker 1: me that he should leave my ass there to enjoy
- 55:22Speaker 1: my classmates and soak up all of the attention without him.
- 55:27Speaker 1: The next day, we rode to the wedding in silence.
- 55:29Speaker 1: We got to the church and the real drama started.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I saw one of my classmates that played in the NFL,
- 55:36Speaker 1: and he is very handsome and successful. He spun me
- 55:40Speaker 1: around and said I look amazing. I introduced him to
- 55:43Speaker 1: my husband, and my husband told him to go to hell,
- 55:47Speaker 1: and he walked off. I tried to play it off,
- 55:49Speaker 1: but my classmate told me I needed to go handle
- 55:52Speaker 1: that well. My husband never came back inside the church.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Four hours later, he called to say he was back
- 56:00Speaker 1: at home and I should get home the best way possible.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I flew home the next day, but my husband was
- 56:06Speaker 1: not home. I called and he said he staying with
- 56:10Speaker 1: his dad. Is this a sign that my marriage is over?
- 56:14Speaker 1: What did I do that was so wrong? Well, you know,
- 56:17Speaker 1: from the sound of the letter, you didn't do anything
- 56:19Speaker 1: that was so wrong. This crazy man you're married too, though,
- 56:22Speaker 1: did But first of all, before I even get into that,
- 56:26Speaker 1: I gotta say kudos to you for keeping it together,
- 56:28Speaker 1: keeping a tight girl after twenty years. I know it
- 56:32Speaker 1: was more people than just your husband, mad Okay, it
- 56:35Speaker 1: was a whole bunch of people hating on you. But
- 56:39Speaker 1: is this a sign that your marriage is over? The
- 56:41Speaker 1: way your husband acted, calling you an attention store, an
- 56:44Speaker 1: attention horror, leaving you all of that? Yeah, I would
- 56:48Speaker 1: say this is a definite sign, because you, my dear,
- 56:51Speaker 1: are married to a child that's right, maybe six or
- 56:56Speaker 1: seven years old, I'm thinking, because that's how a baby
- 57:00Speaker 1: acts when he doesn't get any attention or that he
- 57:02Speaker 1: can't get his way. So instead of supporting you and
- 57:05Speaker 1: allowing you to have some fun with your former classmates
- 57:08Speaker 1: in your family, he gets mad and leaves you his
- 57:12Speaker 1: wife of three years with no way to get home.
- 57:17Speaker 1: That's abusive to me and controlling. I mean, it's beyond
- 57:21Speaker 1: just jealousy. He's not a grown man. He's not a man.
- 57:25Speaker 1: He's way too insecure, and he certainly doesn't deserve you.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I say, let him stay with his dad, pack his bags,
- 57:33Speaker 1: because you can do better. But a question, you never
- 57:37Speaker 1: saw any of these signs while you were dating him,
- 57:39Speaker 1: since you've been married for three years, I think I
- 57:42Speaker 1: have to ask you that. But you did say you
- 57:44Speaker 1: know that you'd never seen that side of him before.
- 57:47Speaker 1: So this is something that's inside of him and just
- 57:51Speaker 1: had to come out. And I think you can do better.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Your husband sounds like a real loser. Okay, Jay, you
- 57:59Speaker 1: know this is one of the very few times that
- 58:02Speaker 1: I totally agree with miss Strawberry. Shright. I'm on it
- 58:07Speaker 1: all the way because just by this letter, girl, you
- 58:12Speaker 1: sound fine as hell. You just sound fine. We don't
- 58:17Speaker 1: have pictures of what you look like, but I've been
- 58:20Speaker 1: to some of these class for unions and it maybe
- 58:22Speaker 1: one or two fine ones in there, and you was
- 58:27Speaker 1: one of them. To hell with him, he left you,
- 58:30Speaker 1: I'm sure it's fine as you sound. Oh, my god,
- 58:34Speaker 1: you just sound so damn fine. And when you laugh
- 58:37Speaker 1: your here go back like that's how fine women laugh.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You have no problem getting a damn right, that's how
- 58:46Speaker 1: they laughed. When fine women they laugh, here go all
- 58:50Speaker 1: the way back like that because they find you would
- 58:54Speaker 1: have no problem. Yeah, the head mother did so silly.
- 59:01Speaker 1: He's just silly, you know. Yeah, he's mad. He mad.
- 59:05Speaker 1: You're having a damn good time. You're looking good. Hit
- 59:08Speaker 1: fat ass over the game button his jacket. Yeah, I
- 59:11Speaker 1: know he was mad. Damn right, he was man. He
- 59:14Speaker 1: had to leave. He didn't fit in. Oh my god,
- 59:18Speaker 1: it's fine as you sound. I'm sure you would have
- 59:22Speaker 1: no problem getting a ride ride. They'd fly your fine
- 59:26Speaker 1: ass home. Ride home. It's ride a ride home. You
- 59:33Speaker 1: sounds fly home. Yeah he left her, Yeah, but she
- 59:38Speaker 1: just sounds fine. You're gonna be fine. Just I hope
- 59:42Speaker 1: you know that you left. When you get home, you're
- 59:44Speaker 1: you feel good about yourself. Twenty years fun, that's gonna
- 59:48Speaker 1: happen in a lot of classrooms. I've been had a
- 59:50Speaker 1: lot of plassroom. After twenty years, you don't even know somebody.
- 59:54Speaker 1: These damn people, they look at you. He's like Jay
- 59:56Speaker 1: I'm like, who you remember, man, I'm like, no glass?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: How about nae? I'm like, no glasses off. Everyone was
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: hating her, you know they were glasses though? How about no? No?
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: And I always do this. If your ads didn't speak
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to me in school, I don't remember you any damn. Way,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: hang on, we'll have part two of the Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour, subject
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: he left me in another state. We'll get back into
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Stave Morning Show.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are. We're going to recap
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. The subject he left me in another state? Well, gee,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: let's find out, why, shall we? A woman in her
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: mid forties wrote us, she's been married to a man
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for three years. About a month ago, they went to
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: her hometown. They went back there for a childhood friend's wedding.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: They went to visit her parents. They went to um,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you know, check in the hotel. Everything was fine. They were,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you know, down there to have a good time, spend
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: some time with friends. Well, they went to a rehearsal
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: dinner and she got to see a lot of her
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: old friends. And she did not hesitate to point out
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that she looks the same as she did when she
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: was twenty years old. Okay, and she says her friends
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: haven't aged well. When other males gave her a compliment,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: her husband would mumble under his breath or suck his
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: teeth real loud. She said, she's never seen him act
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: like this, and he ignored her whenever she tried to
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: talk to him. She introduced him to you know, her friend.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: He gave him a fake smile, turned his head. They
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: got into a big argument that night. He called her
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: a flirt and an attention horror. This is your husband
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: talking to you this way. The next day they drove
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to the wedding in silent and no words between him.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: They got to the church, she saw one of her
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: old classmates who played for the NBL. He in the NFL,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: he's still find still successful. He picked her up, swung
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: her around and and uh. She tried to introduce him
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to her husband. Her husband told him to go to hell.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: And I mean, it's just just just on and on,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: just different scenarios of her husband acting a darned fool
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: at this wedding. So um. After this incident, her her
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: husband went outside and never came back to the wedding.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: He ended up leaving her there, going home and telling
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: her calling her and telling her to get home the
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: best way she could. When she got home, finally, the
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: next day, she took an airplane. She flew home. He
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: had packed, he had left to go live with his dad.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: So there you have it. She wants to know, is
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the marriage over? And what did she do that was
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: so wrong to get his fat behind? Don't worry about it,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: You'll be all right, don't worry about it. Yeah, I'm
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: gonna say this, and I'm gonna say you fine, has consequences,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and get left is one of yours. Yeah, yeah, you
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: to get left. See that's the consequence. So you're gonna
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you're gonna have to learn to stop speaking to your
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: friends because I'm gonna tell you what got your left
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: When that NFL player picked you up and swung you
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: around like in late Sings the Blues, You you finning
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: getting left? See. See, you need to understand. Your next
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: thing you need to work on is getting playing bees
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: in place. That's what you need to when you start
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: working on So you need a delta sky mile number.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: You're gonna have to need that because you're gonna be
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: making a lot of flights. Okay. Also, you ain't gonna
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: get left on the road. You're gonna get left in
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: your city, So get you my old boy account left
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: however you got to use. You're gonna need that. You're
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: gonna need Airbnb because you need to ask to stay
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: because you're gonna keep getting left in some of these places.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: So you didn't put some playing bes because you find
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I'm with Jay. I can tell you fine because it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: made me excited when you kept talking about how fine
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you are. We don't have no evidence it is. It
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: just a fitling we got, especially especially when the dude
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you can't even recognize still say you fine. That that
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: alone is an accomplishment. You don't even know who the
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: hell he was. You don't know his name, You don't
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: know that down or markets. All you know is you
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: find But you laughing too much. You laughing too much,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: You enjoying this too much. You are NFL player, So
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: your husband can't whoop his ass because he played it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: That's the first problem. Didn't pick you up and swung
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: you around in front of him. I'm gonna tell you
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that's a sign you finna get left, So get you
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: some playing beas in place so you don't have to
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: worry about where you gonna stay or get left. You
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: can get home. You're gonna get home. Don't get left again.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: You're gonna get left again. Do you need to know this?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: That's the consequence of your fine? People fine, some people
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: find bring another person, you know, like if you find hey,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: you might get your boyfriend and another phone number that
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: ain't with you that you didn't get no numbers, but
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: you didn't get left though we know that more back.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't think your marriage one just worry about getting
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: left that much fun. You're right, you finding too much
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: for her own good? Is that what you're saying? Yeah,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: because she keeps she keep ragging by. She fought it
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: in twenty years like you still finding you keep keeping
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: all that. All this this one get you y'all that
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: key kid, see all that right there, get your ass
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: left right there. It's too much, key kid kid. When
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you heard your husband suck your teeth, you didn't turne
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: it down. And ladies, no, they don't want you know,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Like when a man goes out and y'all have a
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: party or something, heaps somewhere just over there laughing y'all over.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: So what's so funny? I need to laugh too? You
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: better believe it what you keep kidding about? Yeah, what's
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: all this? As? That's why, that's why we always have
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: to have the stiff, ready and available Jake. They somebody said,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: we find we must immediately put our arm out and
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: show the distance like that. I like, yeah, we got
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: the immediately put our arm out. We can't up that
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: key kid with no woman. Just way too for me
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to be over here. I got to go. Yeah, you
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: know what, Jay, it don't even start off like all right,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: just how I start off? It start out what the
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: girl had? All? So? Who was that in the pink dress? Right?
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Who was that? So? Who's the comedian that making you lad?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Who is that? I need to know? I like to
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: laugh funny? Yeah, what's so funny? Yeah? Her husband's a loser. Yes,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: that's it. He can't handle it will be the last
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: time she did. You knew the out of time? What
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: did the here do locally? No more? No more weddings
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: for her? All right? Thank you guys. Post your comments

- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Coming up at forty six minutes after the hour, Sports
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Talk with Junior. Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, coming up at the top of
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: the hour, Carla's Reality Update. But right now Juniors into
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the building with Sports Talk. What you got for its Junior? Okay, Shirley,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Jay listen, Um today, everybody the sports ward is confused
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: right now. I'm not understanding this. Okay, everybody know Dinnis
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Stroller used to play for the Lakers. Last He's just
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: signed a one year, five point nine minutes. Let's just
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: say six million dollar dan one year to play for
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: the Boston Celtics. Okay, Dennis Stroll, the point guard, all
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: right to play for the ball say one year, six million,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: But he turned down a full year, eighty four million
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: dollar deal from the Lakers. What kind of math are
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: we using in the NBA to day? One year six me? Yes,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: a lot of money. Is twenty one million a year?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You just let walk out the dough for six million. Now,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'm the best at math, but Jay,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: we talked about this. Jay, if you give a child
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: five cookies and you tell them and you ask a child,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: will you rather for eighty four cookies or five British?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Should the child gonna go with the eighty four cookies?
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: This is third grade math? Why did he do it? Why? Stupid?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: There's nothing else he could be but stupid. And I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: know nothing about basketball, but I know that. You know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: like Junior and I were talking last night, a lot
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: of ball players don't go to class. You know, they
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: have other people take their test. But math was one
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: class he should have went to, straight up. He should
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: have just went now, he should have went to math
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: because no, no, no, damn sense, eighty four million dollars.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You know who else is mad at him? His entire
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: family ain't talking to him. I wouldn't show up this
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Sunday for dinner. Yeah, here comes you're nine? Add nass
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: in here? You try to play? Do you know how
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: many pizza of chicken? Do you know how many piece
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: of chicken that is? Can you count them? Because this
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: don't make no sense? And Jay, this this is what
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: we talk about all the time. What you try to
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: do in life is trying not to become a Remember
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: that time you trymember that that you like you don't
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: become and he is definitely a member. That time Lakers
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: offered you eighty four million dollars and your dumb has
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: turned it down. Remember that time when you did try
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: not to be a Remember that time Remember that time,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Jay Jay I had a job, Right, I was cutting, y'all.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I would think about one hundred and twenty dollars a week. Right,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: the video store offered me one fifty. I put the
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: lawn mower down. Do you hear me? Do you hear
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: what I didn't turned? I took twenty five more dollars.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: It's simply, man, I don't know if I want to
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: throw the ball to somebody who is that stupid? I
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: really don't know if you want to pass him the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: damn ball. I really all right? Coming up to the

- 1:10:03Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here he goes,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Junior's in for Tommy to introduce our girl. Let's go, oh,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I got it here it is, I got it ladies
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it is that time. It is time for
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Colin Farrell's Reality Update coming in. Yeah, hey, I don't
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: do it every week Tommy. I'm sorry you've lost your job.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: You fired Tommy Jay Tommy, I love it. I love it.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Thank you, Junior, you did a great job. Thank you.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Shirley as usual, coming in hot, let's talk about real
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: housewives up Atomac coming in hot, all right, So Jazelle
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: and Robin they finally met up with newcast member Mia
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: for cocktails because remember last week I told you she
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: was like no. But anyway, they met up and Mia
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: she got serious though. She talked about her childhood and
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: the fact that she was raising in foster care due
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to her mother and father being on drugs, and it
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: was real heavy, and Robin and Gizelle they were very supportive,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: kind of you know, shocked to hear that about MIA's upbringing.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And then Robin mentioned that her ex husband's parents were
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: addicted to drugs as well, and like I said, it
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: got real heavy. So I guess they're trying to keep
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: the friendship, you know, make this new friendship grow with Mia.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Gizelle also she stopped by Ashley's apartment. Ashley gave birth
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to her second son, look cute baby Dylan, and then
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: you know, of course, Gizelle Shirley had to drop and
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: spill all the tea about the prior the sleepover they
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Can just had. Remember the party that Can just had
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: at the town home, So she talked about that and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: they were basically they've come to the conclusion that Wendy
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: is getting on their nerves showing off her new boots
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and her new booty. So they are like, she is
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: really doing the most. And so the ladies they also
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: went on their first trip h Williamsburg, Virginia. Candice set
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: this up, so they had this party bus. They had
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: to strip a pole on the party bus. So the
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: ladies were getting it in dancing and Mia she's a
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: former stripper, but she said she never danced on the pole. Okay, alrighty,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: So okay, you know, they all of the bus like okay,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: drinks right, okay, yeah, okay, okay, yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: And then once they got there, you know, the girls
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: are trying to get settled into the house and they
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: have their little lunch and it seems like Gizelle and
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Karen a beef and Gizelle was looking for an apology,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and so the beef between Gizelle and Karen continues. Meanwhile,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: we're gonna move on to real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Okay,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say this. I am over Erica Jane.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I don't believe her at all. I don't believe anything
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: she's saying. And I want Garcelle to get to the
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: bottom of this. What do you think, Shirley? I agree
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: with you, and you know it's it's hard to believe
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: she knows nothing, you know, right, yea, yeah, yeah, she's
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: she's a little dramatic about all of this and she's
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: just I don't know, it's something awful about that whole
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: situation with her divorce and what's going on with her husband.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: So we shall see. And also Love and Marriage Huntsville. Oh,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I want to say this too about Real Housewives of
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. Hit me up at Lips by Carla right now.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Tell me if you think eric Erica Jane is. Is
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: she acting? Do you think she's just putting on the
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: front for the show to It's something going on? So
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: hit me up and let me know what do you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: think about that? And moving on far run out of time.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Love and Marriage Huntsville. We finally saw Oh he's not

- 1:14:05Speaker 1: they were on the latest episode of Love and Marriage Huntsville.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: They were with Marceau and t Sha at their new
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: champagne launch party in right here in Houston, Texas. So
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: it was cool. It was cool to see Tommy giving
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Marceau advice on locations and you know what, how to
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: get it popping in Houston. And also the new girl Tiffany,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: she is really starting mess. I said that last week,

- 1:14:54Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we go again. For the second
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: time in about a week now, and un really airline
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: passenger had to be restrained by flight attendants with duct tape.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: This time it involved an aggressive thirteen year old boy
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: on board an American Airlines flight from Maui to Los Angeles.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: The boy reportedly got violent and tried to kick out
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: the window by his seat. He also was physically fighting
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: with his own mother, who couldn't get him under control. Ultimately,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: some passenger stepped in to hold a boy down while
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: flight attendant taped him to his seat. The boy's behavior
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: caused enough of a problem that the pilot had to
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: make an emergency landing in Honolulu. What the heck is
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: going on now? I say, don't duct tape him a
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: tiny as restroom, put a whole flight, you know, put
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: him in the lock behind up and put a whole
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: damn flight. But a boy, yeah, a child acting out?
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Do you know what that sound like on the plane

- 1:15:56Speaker 1: somebody house out, get the duct tape that's hitting for
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: you to be acting? Yeah? What I thought they used
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: to have the air marshals on every flight because they
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: got to bring them back. I don't know why. Yeah,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: they seriously need to come back. Well you know why
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: they cut them out, probably ain't want to pay them. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: they didn't want to. They need them now more than
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: ever after the pandemic. I mean, the pandemic is still

- 1:17:40Speaker 1: all right, here we go. This one is from Sherry
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: and Charlotte. Sherry writes, I'm a twenty seven year old
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: single woman, and I keep attracting broke bums that pretend
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: to have their stuff together but eventually end up living
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: with their mama or sharing a car with their baby mama,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: or something crazy like that. I've met men at work,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: at church and even been hooked up by people, and
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's always an issue with him. And it's not just
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: black men either. Why are men like this? It's too
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: much to expect a man to pay for dinner? Is
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: it too much? You're not looking. You're not looking for
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: the signs of brokens. You're not looking out there everywhere
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: they're all over. Looking his mouth, If his teeth all
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: jacked up, he broke, He broke. You don't have no money.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Look at his shoes. If his shoes, if he constantly
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: wears the same damn pair shoes, he ain't got no money.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: He don't have no money. If every time y'all go
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: to eat, he had you have to lean over him
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: to make your order for food, he ain't got no money,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: you know, if y'all always at a window the order food.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: He ain't got no money. You are not looking for
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: the broke signs and a man, they're the signs. And
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: let you know he don't you got something else that
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: you if you got to climb in the car on
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: his side head, yeah, yeah, you're getting in first on
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: his He opened the door for you. But if there's
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: duct tape on any part of his car anywhere, just
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: walking around the car, and he might not have duct tape.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: He might have that clear rid celler than for a light.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: You know, he don't have no money coming up. It
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: is our last break of the day, dude, without really
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: we've done them all and the last one's gone. Man,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: then you should up looking for a last break anymore.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And that's it. We're done, and we'll close out the
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: show at forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, guys, here we are
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Thursday. It's been
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: a good day. It's been a great day. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: send us some love up to me. Get well, Tommy,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: bring your tests. We need to really see that you
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: was sick. Yeah, we love you and everything, but Yeah,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: another way. We need to see them test scores, buddy. Oh,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: we also need to shout out Jennifer Hudson. She was
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: our special guest. Yes, we had such a great time
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Carla with her on and off the airs. As I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: as I said earlier, I'm in that movie and I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: can tell you now what I did in the movie. Um,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: there's a there's a segment in the movie where RUTHD.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Franklin sings a song. Wau wait a minute, don't spoil
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: it for it, because no, no, no, no, I'm just
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: telling what I did it. We don't not spoil it.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: It was not smail the movie at all. But I'm
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: directing and I have a video of it. I'm directing
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: the background singers. You know. Then you think and think,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: think they have to watch me so they'll know when
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: to come in. So that's what I'm doing. I'm that's
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: amazing that Jennifer Hudson did not mention that earlier than one. Well,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: you know, some people are just selfish. They just treat selfish.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: They don't want to share the light with me, And
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: it's okay. It's the question, was anyone on the Steve
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show in the movie. Respect. But you know what,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: here's here's a good thing about being black. You tell
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: a white person you're in a black movie, and they
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: will accept it. But black people they want to question
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: every day when y'all share that, who was you? Yeah?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I told all my white friends I'm in the Black
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Panther and they went, oh, really, yeah, I was in
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: that movie. Yeah, you know I was in when I
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: was in the color Purple. You know, so when you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: just you tell her, you tell a white person, they
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: will buy it. They don't. Well, you black people, man, like, well,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: what scene? I didn't see? You think Jay? I did
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: that to you. Jay, you didn't even know I did
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: that year when you said this is mister two thousand,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I said, rack, where was you in the movie and
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: showing up? I went back and watch the movie. Jay
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: wasn't umpire, Yes, he was down the first baseline. I
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: didn't see. I said what your own people don't every
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: time I don't believe you. Wow, Well, okay, well we'll
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: watch you. Look out for you in the movie. Respect.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: It's gonna be quick. It's gonna be quick, chairman. It's
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: not like a long scene if you go get popped
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: on or something like that you'll miss it if you're like,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: if you turn to your neighbor, you'll miss it. If
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you like look over and you're like, hey, do you
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: like this? And you won't even see me. It would
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: be really quick. But we'll hear. We'll hear the background,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: we'll hear that, we'll hear your work. Yeah, you don't
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: stop today. Do you do you have a question? First? Jay? Yes?
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I do. I don't. Now that we're locked up, and
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you know, some of us are just kind of coming
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: out of COVID. Have you found yourself and I know
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I have. I need help. I'm at the point where
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I need help. Have you found yourself? Ordering more ushed
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: off off Amazon than you ever would in your entire life?
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: I got packages I have not even opened up. You know,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I don't even know what I don't know what they are.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I have no idea of a whole room in mind
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: right right, I'm dedicated to Amazon. Do you do you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: ever order something to go? I don't remember ordering that did?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Let me tell you what this is? Amazon? You know? Yeah,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Walmart the remote to my TV. J rather than me
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: look for the remote, just ordered another one on Amazon.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I got it the next day. I just I can't
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: find I just ordered another remote, did you hear me?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I ordered some boots yesterday. It's ninety degrees outside. What
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you gonna do with them? What do I want some
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: black level their boots for? But but you know it,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: it is such a good feeling when you look down
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: at your doorstep and there's a package. It's just it's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: just it's just something that goes all over many yeah. Package. Yeah.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: And I've even talked to the ups and FedEx guys
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: who's like, I'm like, don't be driving by here without
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: dropping something off. Okay, really, you got stuff you can
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: put on my house. I don't know what it is.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Just surprised me, you know. Yeah, sometimes you people at
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: home just leave it a year. I'll take it, you know.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but I'm ordering more
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: stuff I found that I've ordered. I've got seventeen thousand
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: things to cut up a potato. I got so many
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to cut up a potato, to cut up one thing.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I don't order it stuff for the kitchen. Yeah, you
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: who cares? I didn't order that. I know I didn't.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: You ever ordered something It comes back too small and
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: you just have to chalk it up to God because
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: that you're not gonna be able to return it. I
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: hate returning a lot. And then once you found out
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: they do groceries over God, Oh, I know you ain't
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: ordered them, surety, but I'm just letting you know they
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: they do what Yes, yes, papers, toilet tissues like stuff
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you don't want to go in the store and get.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: They don't bring it to you. A man, it has
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: changed your life and really has. Man, some stuff with
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: COVID is gonna stay. Yeah, yeah, it is going nowhere.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I mean, I've ordered so much pizza to dude to
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: call me if he's coming this way. He said, I'm
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: coming that way. Can I bring you one? I mean,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: right right, I have a question. Do you guys use
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: COVID or the pandemic as an excuse not to do
