- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the coves. Me good it listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: together to please, I don't join jot. Turn you you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out? Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing. Uh huh, I shore will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Well, nothing changes about that. Nothing changes
- 2:15Speaker 1: about that. Man. I was just so getting ready to
- 2:20Speaker 1: come on the air this morning. I was just thinking, man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was just having a reflective moment of just how
- 2:28Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. I just it's
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's it's man. Let me just say that again, how
- 2:38Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. And here's a
- 2:42Speaker 1: cold part. In spite of myself, you understand, in spite
- 2:47Speaker 1: of all my shortcomings, in spite of all of my
- 2:51Speaker 1: flaws and and and and in spite of all of
- 2:56Speaker 1: what anybody has said about me, God, through his grace
- 3:01Speaker 1: and mercy, just keeps me anyway. So many of us
- 3:06Speaker 1: are exceptional people, but we refuse to just go ahead
- 3:13Speaker 1: and be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary, We follow
- 3:20Speaker 1: the pack, We try to fit in. Man, oh man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: oh man, You know, I've heard my wife say this
- 3:27Speaker 1: to my children all the time when she's scolding them
- 3:30Speaker 1: and talking to him. Should be talking to him about leadership.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know, why are you following everybody when God clearly
- 3:36Speaker 1: made you to lead? So many of us are born,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and so many of you are born to be exceptional people,
- 3:43Speaker 1: but we always trying to follow the pack. Why would
- 3:48Speaker 1: you try to fit in? Why would you try to
- 3:51Speaker 1: be like everybody else be ordinary? Why would you follow
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pack? When God is created you to be exceptional?
- 4:02Speaker 1: The key word in exceptional is except you. Ever you
- 4:07Speaker 1: ever done this? Right here? You know, everybody did that
- 4:09Speaker 1: accept me. Everybody felt that way except me. Everybody said
- 4:17Speaker 1: that except me. Everybody won't wanted that. Accept me. Everybody
- 4:23Speaker 1: went over that except me. Everybody jumped in except me,
- 4:29Speaker 1: accept me. See why have you saying that in your life?
- 4:34Speaker 1: If you were not to be exceptional? See you got
- 4:38Speaker 1: to say everybody accept me at one point in You'll
- 4:40Speaker 1: to I don't know who ain't done it? You know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: everybody wanted. Everybody voted no except me? See it? So
- 4:49Speaker 1: you're not You're not created to follow the pack. You
- 4:52Speaker 1: ain't created to fit in. You ain't created to, uh
- 4:56Speaker 1: you know, to be ordinary. You will create it to
- 4:58Speaker 1: be exceptional, as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You were created to be exceptional. Why not make this
- 5:07Speaker 1: the year that you go ahead on and be exceptional?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Why won't this be the year that you decide in
- 5:16Speaker 1: your mind? But just has to be a decision that
- 5:18Speaker 1: we make. Now we're not following the pack no more.
- 5:21Speaker 1: We're not trying to fit in no more. We ain't
- 5:24Speaker 1: settling for ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But
- 5:29Speaker 1: you know, you got you got to go ahead and
- 5:31Speaker 1: follow that. You got to get on the exceptional path
- 5:33Speaker 1: because that's what you were created for. Why be ordinary?
- 5:37Speaker 1: You know? But all of this this comes to it
- 5:39Speaker 1: has to start with a thought. You got to first
- 5:43Speaker 1: think something thought to become things. A man is as
- 5:48Speaker 1: he thinketh that's all you will ever be. So what
- 5:53Speaker 1: are your thoughts today? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead
- 5:56Speaker 1: of ordinary thoughts? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of
- 6:00Speaker 1: fitting me in thoughts? So why you want to be
- 6:02Speaker 1: like everybody else? Why you want to be ordinary when
- 6:05Speaker 1: you could possibly be extraordinary with a change of your mind,
- 6:10Speaker 1: a change of your venue, And you don't have to
- 6:13Speaker 1: be any other kind of way just because my mama
- 6:16Speaker 1: was this way, my daddy was this way, This the
- 6:19Speaker 1: school I went to? This? What race I belong to?
- 6:22Speaker 1: This is my sexual preference, this is my this, this
- 6:25Speaker 1: is my dadd Why? How many? How many? How many
- 6:27Speaker 1: excuses you need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 6:31Speaker 1: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:43Speaker 1: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 1: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 1: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 1: did that accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 1: jumped in accept me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that, accept me. And now look at it, man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 1: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said
- 7:21Speaker 1: to you that an't accept me is because couldn't it
- 7:25Speaker 1: be because you're an exceptional person, and it's time for
- 7:28Speaker 1: you to take control of that. It's time for you
- 7:31Speaker 1: to start thinking different. It's time for you to start
- 7:34Speaker 1: acting on what you think. It's time for you to
- 7:36Speaker 1: start doing something about it. It's time for you to
- 7:39Speaker 1: stop taking each and every day that God gives us
- 7:41Speaker 1: for granted and letting them go by the wayside like
- 7:45Speaker 1: you got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty of mode,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but guess what what you wasting the ones you got for?
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got you young, and you and you feel like
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're gonna live forever. Okay, cool, But let me ask
- 7:58Speaker 1: you something. See here, here, here, here go the part
- 8:00Speaker 1: about pose you do live? See see everybody willing about dying.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But I got news for you. Suppose you keep on living.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You want to keep living in the condition you in now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the money you got now.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: the the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:26Speaker 1: your life. Problem, ain't dying. It's problem is if you
- 8:28Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living just
- 8:32Speaker 1: the way they are right now? And if you could
- 8:35Speaker 1: say I'm cool, what I am, just the way I
- 8:37Speaker 1: am right now? In cool, this conversation ain't for you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know, you
- 8:42Speaker 1: want to say, greatness ain't for everybody being exceptional, ain't
- 8:47Speaker 1: for everybody. Becoming extraordinary, ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 8:52Speaker 1: ain't fun everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 8:56Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence in
- 8:58Speaker 1: your ordinary life all all you want. And that's fine
- 9:01Speaker 1: and dandy. I ain't got no problem with it. Because
- 9:03Speaker 1: some people just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna
- 9:07Speaker 1: follow the pack, follow the crowd. Some people just wants
- 9:11Speaker 1: to fit in. But if you're not that person, if
- 9:14Speaker 1: you want to be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional,
- 9:18Speaker 1: if you want to be if you want to dare
- 9:19Speaker 1: to be great at something, and you got to change
- 9:22Speaker 1: your mind set. You got to get with your creating,
- 9:25Speaker 1: find out what he created you fault. You gotta quit
- 9:27Speaker 1: thinking of things just in your own thought process, you know,
- 9:31Speaker 1: lean not to your own understanding. I don't know what
- 9:34Speaker 1: that is, but it's in there somewhere. Seeing. Once you lean,
- 9:37Speaker 1: if you lean to your own understanding, you know what
- 9:39Speaker 1: it's gonna do. It's gonna limit you, man, it's gonna
- 9:42Speaker 1: limit you. Why not see what God got for you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I would rather know what God got for me than
- 9:48Speaker 1: to think of all the things I could because I
- 9:50Speaker 1: can't out think him out and tried it before. All right,
- 9:53Speaker 1: it's just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening to show, ladies and gentlemen. Today
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 10:06Speaker 1: rejoice and be glad in it. It's a crazy where
- 10:09Speaker 1: we live in, but still all in all, in spite
- 10:13Speaker 1: of everything, I wake up today with the same gratitude,
- 10:17Speaker 1: a little heavy heart, but the same gratitude that I
- 10:20Speaker 1: always have. I'm grateful that God is still in the
- 10:23Speaker 1: hearing business, the blessing business, the redeeming business, and the
- 10:28Speaker 1: forgiving business. I'm asking Him to forgive me for anything
- 10:32Speaker 1: that I might say today that's not Christian life. I
- 10:36Speaker 1: will not be focusing on my Christian side today much
- 10:39Speaker 1: at all, anyway, And so I ask Him to forgive
- 10:42Speaker 1: me for my flaw because today I don't feel like it.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm off the line today, and I do that from
- 10:50Speaker 1: time to time because I am an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So today I might not be on the white line
- 10:56Speaker 1: like I'm posted to as a Christian. But that's just
- 10:59Speaker 1: fine with me. I get back on it when I
- 11:02Speaker 1: feel better. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Steve Harvey
- 11:06Speaker 1: Morning Show starring Shirley Starberry, Colin Ferrell, Mississippi, Monica Junior,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and the Legend of Nephew Tumming. Ladies and gentlemen, let
- 11:15Speaker 1: us begin with some moment of levity. Junior. I'm scared
- 11:21Speaker 1: to ask you what's on your mind because you don't
- 11:23Speaker 1: even look good on zoom that got your own folded?
- 11:31Speaker 1: You know what it is up because because as a comedian,
- 11:35Speaker 1: see this is this is where it gets hard how
- 11:38Speaker 1: the job go. As a comedian. We're supposed to show
- 11:42Speaker 1: this the society what it is, what was funny about
- 11:46Speaker 1: what we do in life, and you just don't feel
- 11:48Speaker 1: like that every day. See after day it's like the
- 11:50Speaker 1: other day. Don't just don't feel like we're supposed to
- 11:53Speaker 1: be because you're killing people look like me and see,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm supposed to sit up here and stand on stage
- 11:59Speaker 1: and talk about what's wrong and make you laugh about that.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Ain't how I feel on the job. I don't feel
- 12:04Speaker 1: that way, And so you six to fire. How you
- 12:07Speaker 1: do it, how you find out how to make these
- 12:10Speaker 1: moments levity. Well, in the beginning, there are a lot
- 12:15Speaker 1: of moments that just don't have levity to it because
- 12:18Speaker 1: we are affected by this world in these conditions, in
- 12:21Speaker 1: these situations, just like everybody else, our job is to
- 12:26Speaker 1: provide moments of levity in dark times. That's as a diversion.
- 12:31Speaker 1: So today, you know, we'll try to do some of that.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Today we'll try to throw a little diversion. But at
- 12:36Speaker 1: the same time, we got to grapple with how we
- 12:38Speaker 1: feel and some days, you know, the community. See here's
- 12:42Speaker 1: a part about it. Is we that are stand ups.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Usually is for an hour on this radio show. We
- 12:50Speaker 1: got four hours to produce some highlight moments of laughter
- 12:54Speaker 1: the rest of the day. The three of us that
- 12:57Speaker 1: are in this business happened to be African American men,
- 13:00Speaker 1: which I prefer to be called black though I'm a
- 13:03Speaker 1: black man. I like that much better. I prefer that
- 13:07Speaker 1: because they just keep the American part so hidden sometimes
- 13:12Speaker 1: and so unavailable to me. And you know I love
- 13:16Speaker 1: to be African American, y'all. Just put me in the Constitution,
- 13:19Speaker 1: the whole thing. I don't want to be in pieces
- 13:22Speaker 1: of it, just the whole thing. So today we'll carry
- 13:25Speaker 1: on and I might say something crazy. I might, You
- 13:30Speaker 1: might you think I'm trying not a show? All right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, nephew
- 13:39Speaker 1: Tommy is gonna run that prank back for us right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, it is
- 13:47Speaker 1: time to start your morning off with the nephew and
- 13:49Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got for us? Now?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I got check settlement, check settlement. All right, check settlement.
- 13:56Speaker 1: We all had one coming at one point in our lives.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It is check set them and let's go cat dog
- 14:02Speaker 1: get you what? Thank you? Hello? Right, I'm trying to
- 14:07Speaker 1: reach out this place. How you doing? It's attorney over
- 14:11Speaker 1: the associates. All right, I want to give you a call.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I just got your file that hit my desk, and
- 14:17Speaker 1: we got a check going out to you on Monday.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You came in yesterday, correct, yes, okay, listen, we got
- 14:23Speaker 1: a few low glitches here. We want to grow over with.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I want to go over whether you make sure we
- 14:28Speaker 1: get this all ironed out before you come in on Monday,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and I'll have a check definitely waiting on you when
- 14:33Speaker 1: you get here. All right, you're supposed to be getting
- 14:36Speaker 1: six thousand, four hundred and ten dollars, unfortunately as being
- 14:40Speaker 1: reduced to twelve hundred due to injuries not being as
- 14:45Speaker 1: as bad as they say it was. A lot of
- 14:47Speaker 1: calculations got really mixed up on our paperwork here. And
- 14:50Speaker 1: please keep in mind that on the twelve hundred, we
- 14:52Speaker 1: still haven't taken out our fee, which is like about
- 14:54Speaker 1: thirty three and a third. We'll have a check for
- 14:56Speaker 1: you on Monday in the ballpark or four to five
- 14:58Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Oh hold hold hold up, Okay, I'm stand
- 15:02Speaker 1: like getting it. So what was the total month that
- 15:05Speaker 1: y'all got from the law from them from the should
- 15:09Speaker 1: Evidently the person that did these calculations completely did them wrong.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And I do apologize for this being a mishap on
- 15:16Speaker 1: our part and it's totally screwed up. And I do
- 15:18Speaker 1: apologize on the behalf of the of the association here
- 15:22Speaker 1: that we've dropped the ball on that. But your actual
- 15:25Speaker 1: check has been reduced to twelve hundred dollars, okay, and
- 15:29Speaker 1: that's without us taking the law fees out of it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So I just feel right, because how was six thousand
- 15:36Speaker 1: dollars cover the doctor field and the car practice? Well,
- 15:40Speaker 1: from my understanding, man, what they're also stating is that
- 15:42Speaker 1: your injuries are not that bad. And I don't want
- 15:45Speaker 1: to be the bearer of bad news. They're actually wondering
- 15:48Speaker 1: if you were actually hurt at all, solely because I
- 15:51Speaker 1: even had to get injections okay, from the practice. Okay,
- 15:55Speaker 1: And and do you have any I have some medical
- 15:57Speaker 1: documents here, and I understand that you've been and you
- 16:00Speaker 1: probably look like you went over at least at least
- 16:02Speaker 1: two months going to the doctor and getting and getting therapy.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And that was his call. That was a chi practice
- 16:09Speaker 1: car that wasn't my decision. Okay. Well, a lot of
- 16:12Speaker 1: this call from out from my injury exactly, and a
- 16:15Speaker 1: lot a lot of these doctor fees, and that you've
- 16:18Speaker 1: gone to eating up eating up a lot of these funds.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And I tell you, these doctor bills they get pretty
- 16:23Speaker 1: high out there. I do want to apologize what we're
- 16:26Speaker 1: gonna do here, since we've dropped the ball on this,
- 16:28Speaker 1: We're gonna give you a check for twelve hundred and
- 16:30Speaker 1: not even take the law fees out of it, and
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'll have that check waiting on you on Monday morning.
- 16:35Speaker 1: That's still okay. I understand what you're saying. What I'm
- 16:38Speaker 1: trying to figure out is from the I need to
- 16:42Speaker 1: see some paperwork of saying stating what was the out
- 16:46Speaker 1: total out check that was written from the insurance company,
- 16:50Speaker 1: plus what was a portion that was supposed to be
- 16:52Speaker 1: taking out for the carpract plus sup portion was supposed
- 16:54Speaker 1: to be taking out from the doctor's itself. My mouth
- 16:57Speaker 1: that you're telling me six thousand that smart gonna wouldn't
- 17:00Speaker 1: have covered that and leave me with only twelve hundred. Okay,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I'm not at liberty to let you look at this
- 17:05Speaker 1: paperwork anymore. I'm calling you basically to let you know
- 17:09Speaker 1: I have twelve hundred dollars check for you. If you
- 17:11Speaker 1: don't want that, then you can go ahead and take
- 17:14Speaker 1: some other league. I mean that doesn't sound of right while,
- 17:17Speaker 1: but I mean from the entire month, because I got
- 17:20Speaker 1: the paperwork from the chiropractice stating where mat was paid.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I understand that, man, I'm what I'm trying to let
- 17:26Speaker 1: you domine issues there there. What's going on right now
- 17:29Speaker 1: is the response coming back is that you're not actually
- 17:32Speaker 1: hurt at all. That's what they're saying. They're saying, you're
- 17:35Speaker 1: not hate at all. Actually, I don't want to use
- 17:37Speaker 1: the words, but they're saying that you've been faking this
- 17:39Speaker 1: the whole time. I need to see some paperwork with
- 17:41Speaker 1: FIA to check it. It doesn't sound right and that
- 17:44Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense. Well, right now, you know, I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: the last person that that this file is going to
- 17:49Speaker 1: come across. It's coming across my desk. This is pretty
- 17:52Speaker 1: much a take it or leave it option, you know.
- 17:54Speaker 1: And if you don't leave no, no, I mean you
- 17:57Speaker 1: don't get an act to me because you are my
- 17:59Speaker 1: lord and I'm you're a client. Well, you're not gonna
- 18:02Speaker 1: raise your voice. You're not gonna raise your voice setting me.
- 18:05Speaker 1: That's not gonna happen either. So let's let's pipe it
- 18:08Speaker 1: down a bit. Okay, Now here's what we're gonna do.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Do you want the twelve hundred dollar check or do
- 18:14Speaker 1: you not want it? Now I've already wavered the fees
- 18:17Speaker 1: of the of the attorneys here. Do you want the
- 18:19Speaker 1: twelve hundred or do you want me to reduce it
- 18:21Speaker 1: to four hundred? No, I don't want twelve hunds because
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna take you to court because that is a
- 18:25Speaker 1: term off. He's supposed to be my lawyer. I'm being
- 18:28Speaker 1: the best attorney that you probably could afford, young lady. Okay,
- 18:32Speaker 1: and I'm trying to do the best I can to
- 18:34Speaker 1: help you. Now, you if from what I understand is ye,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, that's not going to be acceptable. I just
- 18:40Speaker 1: have to get to get a lawyer to see you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: That's not acceptable. You know, you know you people continue
- 18:45Speaker 1: to want it to offer. Yesterday when we came in,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I didn't. I wasn't there doing the meeting yesterday. Like
- 18:53Speaker 1: I said, these papers just landed on my desk today.
- 18:55Speaker 1: What I'm not going to tolerate is you people consistently
- 18:58Speaker 1: wanting to file a lawsuit on somebody. Now you want
- 19:02Speaker 1: to file a lawsuit on me. You know you're going
- 19:05Speaker 1: way too far with this. This isn't time I want
- 19:08Speaker 1: to talk to I've never heard Okay, well now you've
- 19:14Speaker 1: heard of me. I'm and I work here as well.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And I'm not gonna stand you uh uh, dismantling me
- 19:21Speaker 1: the way that you're doing. I just have to get
- 19:23Speaker 1: a lawyer to see you. That's not accessible. I got
- 19:25Speaker 1: one more thing. This is nephew Timmy from Steve Harvey
- 19:28Speaker 1: Martin Show. You just got pracked. You got pracked by
- 19:32Speaker 1: your husband. Oh, your hub told me she's been waiting
- 19:41Speaker 1: on that check. Yeah. I was about to go by

- 20:58Speaker 1: your love questions. Right after this, you're listening to show
- 21:03Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Miss Anne
- 21:06Speaker 1: is standing by with the latest on the investigation on
- 21:09Speaker 1: the school shooting in Ubaldi, Texas. Also in Trending Entertainment News,
- 21:14Speaker 1: we'll talk about the Time one hundred Most Influential People list,
- 21:18Speaker 1: plus Will Smith tells David Letterman family is everything. We'll
- 21:23Speaker 1: talk about all of these stories at the top of
- 21:25Speaker 1: the hour, but right now it is time to ask
- 21:28Speaker 1: the Chief Love Officer, the CLO, Steve Harvey. Marina and
- 21:33Speaker 1: Nevada says, I was a bridesmaid and my friend's wedding
- 21:37Speaker 1: and at the reception I was dancing and having a
- 21:40Speaker 1: ball until my left breast popped out. A later on,
- 21:47Speaker 1: the groom whispered to me that my breast looked delicious.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Was he joking or flirting with me at his wedding? Well,
- 21:56Speaker 1: definitely wasn't joking. That definitely out of joke. I think
- 22:02Speaker 1: he was being factual. I do think he was being factual. Now,
- 22:13Speaker 1: what what else? Information do you need? What? What do
- 22:16Speaker 1: you say? What do you say when it pop out?
- 22:18Speaker 1: What are you supposed to say? I don't know. Mine
- 22:20Speaker 1: has never popped out, and if it do, I'm gonna
- 22:24Speaker 1: just be honest with you. Hain't much to see. I
- 22:31Speaker 1: had it out before, out in public, and ain't nobody
- 22:34Speaker 1: bought it up? Nobody flirting look at the breast. Nobody
- 22:43Speaker 1: never said they look listen. Research came back negative. Nothing
- 22:53Speaker 1: to see here? All right? All right? Is that the
- 22:57Speaker 1: right question she should be asking the girl? Know what's up? Girls? Stop?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Jeremy in Austin, Jeremy writes, my boss and I are
- 23:09Speaker 1: drinking buddies, but he's crossed the line with me. I'm
- 23:13Speaker 1: a happily married man and I thought he was too.
- 23:16Speaker 1: But he's got a side chick that comes to hang
- 23:19Speaker 1: out with us. He expects me to act like we're
- 23:21Speaker 1: all just hanging out. But that's not cool. How do
- 23:24Speaker 1: I tell him that he's foul and I want no
- 23:26Speaker 1: parts of it? Why don't you quit hanging out with him?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Why don't you quit hanging out with him? It ain't
- 23:32Speaker 1: your business for starters, but you ain't got the co signing,
- 23:36Speaker 1: But you got to quit hanging out when you when she,
- 23:39Speaker 1: when she show up, you go home. Dog. Don't get
- 23:43Speaker 1: yourself in that. But now also know this, you have
- 23:48Speaker 1: some very pertinent information. So at fars I'm concerned. I
- 23:54Speaker 1: got a job evil, Okay, I like how you? Yeah,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I ain't gonna do your dog,
- 24:03Speaker 1: But then you can't ever do me. Yeah, or you
- 24:07Speaker 1: will get done all right. Moving on to Ayanna and Richmond.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Ayanna says, four years ago, I had a weight loss
- 24:16Speaker 1: surgery before my wedding. My husband is still overweight and
- 24:20Speaker 1: it affects his self esteem. He expects me to wear
- 24:23Speaker 1: big shirts and sweats to cover up my dream body,
- 24:26Speaker 1: and I'm not going to do that. How can I
- 24:29Speaker 1: assure this man that I will still love his fat
- 24:32Speaker 1: behind no matter what. Oh no, no. Put some pressure
- 24:38Speaker 1: on his big hand, Put some pressure on his big ale.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Say it again. Put some pressure on his big air
- 24:47Speaker 1: ship where your stuff show your shape, deal with it. Okay,
- 24:56Speaker 1: that's it? Well, I mean what else? Yeah, she still
- 25:04Speaker 1: loves she still loves them no matter what, San, I
- 25:09Speaker 1: love a lot of fat people. Really, I'm gonna have
- 25:14Speaker 1: married to them. This is a little different. It's her husband, Okay,
- 25:19Speaker 1: uh huh. Well, you know I love statements Steele stanks.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I love a lot of fat people. There's no problem.
- 25:26Speaker 1: If you don't love fat people, something wrong with you.
- 25:28Speaker 1: That's right, because somebody got to love your little skank
- 25:31Speaker 1: skins street Street. What did you hurt? Fault? You know? Yeah,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now you ain't pretty and cute
- 25:41Speaker 1: to amboy all right, last one, Steve. We're moving on
- 25:48Speaker 1: to Lelia and Mobile. Uh. Lila says, I loaned a
- 25:54Speaker 1: friend one of my evening gowns and she returned it
- 25:57Speaker 1: without dry cleaning it. I unzipped the bag in front
- 26:00Speaker 1: of her and then zipped it back up and gave
- 26:02Speaker 1: it back to her. She told me that she preferred
- 26:05Speaker 1: for me to clean it with my own dry cleaner.
- 26:08Speaker 1: That I trust. My husband says, he gets her point.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Who's right here? You know, I mean, look what you
- 26:17Speaker 1: what you want? Stop first? Of all, stop loaning your
- 26:20Speaker 1: clothes out because obviously you have a problem. Why why
- 26:24Speaker 1: why are we in the How old are y'all? She
- 26:28Speaker 1: didn't say ther age? Okay, well you got a husband,
- 26:31Speaker 1: so obviously something's wrong. Yeah, now now we need to
- 26:36Speaker 1: stop this hit. Stop loaning out your clothes. The next thing,
- 26:39Speaker 1: clean your dress where you won't it clean? Yeah? She
- 26:42Speaker 1: obviously posed because she bond clothes. Now her cleaners ain't
- 26:46Speaker 1: gonna do like your She just gonna take it down
- 26:48Speaker 1: to the laundry. Is washing fold down there where she goes? Nephew,
- 26:52Speaker 1: won't your dress washingfold? If you want it washing fold?
- 26:56Speaker 1: That what she do? She already know that, so take
- 27:00Speaker 1: did the clean as you like? Old I was a
- 27:02Speaker 1: pound old, I was a poe. But still, what is
- 27:07Speaker 1: her husband agreeing with her friend for it? That's probably
- 27:09Speaker 1: what she's mad about too. That is well, you know,
- 27:12Speaker 1: because he just tried to offer the quickest fix. If
- 27:15Speaker 1: you got to go back and forth with your friend
- 27:17Speaker 1: about the dress, that ain't gonna be good. Bits does
- 27:20Speaker 1: your husband just say, hey, just clean it where you
- 27:23Speaker 1: want to get it clean, baby, then it be over with.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Now she gonna take it down, That gonna get it shrunk.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Now you ain't gonna be able to wear She gonna
- 27:33Speaker 1: get it shrunk because she's gonna take it down into
- 27:35Speaker 1: the fold and wash. That's terrible. No down that they
- 27:40Speaker 1: don't read, no labels, everything going with one water. Your
- 27:45Speaker 1: dress gonna be in there with some sheets and you
- 27:47Speaker 1: ain't gonna understand it. So the point is her husband
- 27:52Speaker 1: was just trying to fix it too. He wasn't trying.
- 27:55Speaker 1: That's all. That's all it was. So he's on her team. Yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 1: let that go sorta uh sorda, what's the sort of cello?
- 28:07Speaker 1: He just wanted to be old? Uh huh, that's all.
- 28:10Speaker 1: He just wanted to be over. He wants to stop
- 28:14Speaker 1: talking about the dress. Let's move on. That's all it is.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Who the loan? Y'all do y'all loan dresses and suits?
- 28:21Speaker 1: Who do that? Yeah, it's a friend in need. I'm
- 28:25Speaker 1: not loaning my suit out. I give you a suit,
- 28:28Speaker 1: but I ain't loaning it out. I'm gonna bring it back.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I'll give it to you. Yeah, I just give it
- 28:34Speaker 1: to that. Yeah sure, yeah, but there's nothing wrong with loaning. No,
- 28:39Speaker 1: if you you can loan, loan, Yeah, that's the ladies
- 28:42Speaker 1: different from me. Yeah, I got burnt though loaning I
- 28:47Speaker 1: believe you believe whatever. I'd rather get well, just you know,
- 28:52Speaker 1: my friend gave me her suit. She gave it back
- 28:56Speaker 1: to me, bald up in a bag, bald up, seriously
- 29:01Speaker 1: in bad. I was like, OK, thank you, Charley. This
- 29:10Speaker 1: is over all right, Rodany on to the top of
- 29:14Speaker 1: the hour. We'll have some national and entertainment news for
- 29:17Speaker 1: you right after this. You're listening to show Zendea, John Batiste,
- 29:25Speaker 1: Pete Davidson, Mary J. Blige, and Apple CEO Tim Cook
- 29:30Speaker 1: are just a few of those who made the Time
- 29:33Speaker 1: one hundred Most Influential People lists this year. The annual
- 29:37Speaker 1: list breaks its honore's down into categories that outline their contributions.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Those who made the list are not only influencers in
- 29:44Speaker 1: their respective feels, but the magazine looked at how they
- 29:48Speaker 1: willed it their influence. Each honoree had a written tribute
- 29:52Speaker 1: from another honoree, either past or present, and um, that's wonderful.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I mean, what a great list. Mary J. Blige relevant, Yes,
- 30:03Speaker 1: yes she is, Yes she is from the Super Bowl
- 30:06Speaker 1: till now to Yeah, winning her Icon Award at the Billboards.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Get Old fabulous, Yes, all of that. So, Steve, speaking
- 30:21Speaker 1: of influencers and inspirational people, who are some I'm going
- 30:26Speaker 1: to ask you this way, who's the most inspirational inspirational
- 30:30Speaker 1: person in your life? Who's been that for you? You
- 30:33Speaker 1: mean in my whole life or recently both? Let's do both.
- 30:38Speaker 1: How about that in your whole life and then recently?
- 30:41Speaker 1: I mean, my parents were the biggest influence in everything
- 30:46Speaker 1: I am today. The man I am in, the faith
- 30:49Speaker 1: I have was instilled. The manhood is my father, faith
- 30:53Speaker 1: is my mother. So I have to give them credit
- 30:55Speaker 1: for that. Currently, the biggest influences in my life some
- 31:02Speaker 1: people that I've met overseas that you all don't know,
- 31:07Speaker 1: uh and wouldn't know uh, and uh locally here probably
- 31:14Speaker 1: the biggest influencer in in my life and I don't
- 31:18Speaker 1: I just I talked to Bishop Jakes once a month.
- 31:22Speaker 1: We text often. I think Bishop Jakes is probably one
- 31:26Speaker 1: of the most influential people in my life currently. And uh,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I would I would have to say, just in video
- 31:36Speaker 1: alone is Joel Ostein just in video alone, it's Joel Olstein.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Uh there as a kid. I mean, I don't know
- 31:45Speaker 1: if he's a kid uh, it's on Instagram that a
- 31:50Speaker 1: lot of his quotes are very very inspirational. I have
- 31:53Speaker 1: no idea who it is. I think it's Bears Burke.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I think that's what he just is Burke. He just
- 32:01Speaker 1: does quotes. He don't post no pictures and nothing. He
- 32:05Speaker 1: don't do no videos. I'm trying to throw them through
- 32:08Speaker 1: right quick. But other things keep popping up. That's very interesting,
- 32:12Speaker 1: you know. All right, kiss, all right, all right, let
- 32:22Speaker 1: me move on. Let me get to this story. Another
- 32:24Speaker 1: entertainment news family is everything to Will Smith. Will Smith
- 32:28Speaker 1: opened up about it on the fourth season of My
- 32:30Speaker 1: Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. Will Smith
- 32:35Speaker 1: discussed his recent memoir Will and his parents' contentious relationship.
- 32:40Speaker 1: He did all that with David Letterman. The first line
- 32:43Speaker 1: of the first chapter is I've always thought of myself
- 32:45Speaker 1: as a coward. Will said, when I was nine years old,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I saw my father beat up my mother and I
- 32:50Speaker 1: didn't do anything, and that just left a traumatic impression
- 32:54Speaker 1: of myself as a coward. Well, if you're waiting to
- 32:57Speaker 1: find out what Will said about the infamous slap, you
- 33:01Speaker 1: won't hear that he's not talking about that. It was coward. Yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 1: this was filmed prior to that incident, so you won't
- 33:08Speaker 1: get that. Yeah, all right, ladies and gentleman, and that
- 33:12Speaker 1: I thought I found the guy's name. His name is
- 33:14Speaker 1: Biggs Burke, Bigs bu r k E. He just puts
- 33:19Speaker 1: a lot like his last quote was I wish living
- 33:22Speaker 1: bought us together like deaf does. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss
- 33:27Speaker 1: Anne Tripp, thank you very much everybody, and good morning.
- 33:30Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Okay. In Texas,
- 33:32Speaker 1: let's go there. Authorities continue to pass through the upsetting
- 33:36Speaker 1: evidence they've collected in the wake of the horrific murders
- 33:38Speaker 1: of those nineteen elementary school children and two of their
- 33:41Speaker 1: teachers in the talentab Wilde. Officials say that eighteen year
- 33:44Speaker 1: old Salvador Ramos shot and critically injured his grandmother before
- 33:48Speaker 1: leaving the house, and posted a message to a friend
- 33:51Speaker 1: in Germany saying he was gonna shoot up an elementary school,
- 33:54Speaker 1: but only a few minutes before he did. When he did,
- 33:58Speaker 1: the Texas Department of Safety's lieuten Chris Olivares says, rolmost
- 34:01Speaker 1: murdered all his victims in the same classroom. The shooter
- 34:05Speaker 1: was able to make entry into a classroom, barricaded himself
- 34:08Speaker 1: inside that classroom, just began shooting numerous children and teachers
- 34:13Speaker 1: that were in that classroom, having no regard for human life.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Just a complete evil person just began shooting anyone that
- 34:20Speaker 1: was in his way. Now, Congressman Tony Gonzalez represents Uvalde.
- 34:25Speaker 1: We are hurting in Uvality and it's just heartbreaking. You know, children,
- 34:31Speaker 1: children are the most innocent thing that we have in life,
- 34:37Speaker 1: and we have to protect them with everything we have. However,
- 34:41Speaker 1: Gonzalez was among the two hundred and two fellow Republicans
- 34:45Speaker 1: and one Democrat who voted no on last year's bill
- 34:48Speaker 1: in the House to be background checks on gun purchases.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Gonzalez voted no with his fellow Republicans. So now, with
- 34:55Speaker 1: this latest massacre coming only ten days after the racist
- 34:57Speaker 1: killings of ten black people in upstate New York, the
- 35:00Speaker 1: cries and shouts for beefed up gun control have grown
- 35:03Speaker 1: even louder. But Governor Greg Abbott held a news conference
- 35:06Speaker 1: yesterday and failed to mention a certain four letter word guns. Guns.
- 35:12Speaker 1: We had a long discussion with law enforcement at all levels,
- 35:17Speaker 1: with community leaders, elected officials. I asked the sheriff and others,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and open ended question. The question was what is the
- 35:27Speaker 1: problem here? They said, we have a problem with mental
- 35:31Speaker 1: health illness in this community, and then they elaborated on
- 35:36Speaker 1: the need for more mental health support in this region,
- 35:40Speaker 1: never mentioning guns. By the way, Salvador Ramos had not
- 35:42Speaker 1: been diagnosed with any known mental health issues. I read
- 35:45Speaker 1: a startling statistic the other day that said, while the
- 35:48Speaker 1: United States only comprises four percent of the world's population,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we own forty percent of the world's guns. Yesterday the
- 35:55Speaker 1: second anniversary of police murder of George Floyd. Yesterday President
- 35:59Speaker 1: Biden's signed an executive order on police reform, and a
- 36:02Speaker 1: much lighter old Colin Kaepernick's back on the field with
- 36:05Speaker 1: the La Raiders. And finally, folks that beyond Beef have
- 36:09Speaker 1: hired Kim Kadashian to be their chief taste consultant. Go girl, Yes,
- 36:16Speaker 1: this has been the news. Back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Tommy, What did you have a
- 36:24Speaker 1: question for your uncle, Steve? Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is
- 36:27Speaker 1: a parenting a parenting question. So, got a ten year
- 36:32Speaker 1: old son, you know that young Jordan who plays with
- 36:35Speaker 1: everybody in the neighborhood, all different nationalities, and I'm that
- 36:40Speaker 1: parent that you know, if he playing down there, I'm
- 36:41Speaker 1: a roll pass. Just just make show he playing down there.
- 36:44Speaker 1: So I think the thing that bothers me is whomen
- 36:47Speaker 1: comes time for election and I see the signs and
- 36:52Speaker 1: some of these parents guards who I know, Yeah, and
- 36:58Speaker 1: then it just it makes me wonder, you know, do
- 37:02Speaker 1: I want my son? And I don't want to stop
- 37:04Speaker 1: my son from playing with certain people because it's not
- 37:06Speaker 1: the kids, but I know the kind of people that
- 37:11Speaker 1: the parents are, especially when I see some signs that's
- 37:14Speaker 1: really some stuff you really shouldn't have put up, you
- 37:17Speaker 1: know what I mean. So as a parent, how do
- 37:20Speaker 1: you how do you move forward? Do you? Do you
- 37:22Speaker 1: continue to let your son do what you're doing? Do you?
- 37:26Speaker 1: I don't like, I don't want to make I don't
- 37:27Speaker 1: mix a mingle with the parents. My wife does he
- 37:30Speaker 1: mix a mingle here and there, but I don't. But
- 37:32Speaker 1: how do you handle it? You know, because you're in
- 37:34Speaker 1: the back of your mind, you're thinking, y'all some different
- 37:37Speaker 1: kind of people over there, well and starts. You have
- 37:40Speaker 1: to realize that the children are the catalysts for change
- 37:44Speaker 1: because the children don't come with the baggage unless they're
- 37:49Speaker 1: talk to baggage. So if the children are playing just fine,
- 37:53Speaker 1: that becomes the catalyst for change. The children are future.
- 37:58Speaker 1: That's how we change things. You're really not gonna change
- 38:01Speaker 1: old as. So when you see them signs, you know
- 38:05Speaker 1: where they are and you know how to act accordingly.
- 38:08Speaker 1: But also realize that I'm in the same situation with
- 38:12Speaker 1: my grandkids. Had always been in there with my children
- 38:15Speaker 1: because my children didn't grow up having to suffer. So
- 38:18Speaker 1: you all, you move out into these neighborhoods to give
- 38:21Speaker 1: your family a better way of life, and then you
- 38:23Speaker 1: subject yourself to the people who stay there, and they
- 38:26Speaker 1: have different thoughts and different political views. They belong to
- 38:29Speaker 1: a different party, and you have to be understanding that
- 38:33Speaker 1: you can actually get along with a person like I
- 38:35Speaker 1: got a neighbor that still has a Trump sign up,
- 38:39Speaker 1: And when I ride my bike, Hey Steve, how can't
- 38:42Speaker 1: do it? I say, hey, man, how you doing? Man?
- 38:45Speaker 1: Love the shout man, welcome to the neighborhood. Just a
- 38:48Speaker 1: nice guy, but got Trump sign Trump sign up? Now
- 38:52Speaker 1: I got to watch him, you know when he speak.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You know, I got my owning because why you still
- 38:58Speaker 1: got a Trump sign up. Clearly you've bought into the
- 39:01Speaker 1: election of Stout. Yeah, I'm totally against you anyway, but
- 39:06Speaker 1: he speaks and he's not. But I know where he stands,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and I know I know when he comes time to vote,
- 39:13Speaker 1: where he gonna be. Now, we're not fing to be friends.
- 39:16Speaker 1: We're nothing to be friends, because if you're that staunch
- 39:19Speaker 1: of a Trump supporter, you have got to be thinking
- 39:21Speaker 1: and feeling a lot different from me on a lot
- 39:23Speaker 1: of issue. So we're not gonna be friends, but I
- 39:25Speaker 1: can be cordial with you. Coming up at thirty four
- 39:28Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll check Steve's voicemail. Right after
- 39:32Speaker 1: this You're listening show, It is time now to check
- 39:38Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail. If you would like to leave Steve a voicemail,
- 39:41Speaker 1: call him eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve eight seven
- 39:44Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve, Let's get to it, Steve. A
- 39:47Speaker 1: caller wants to thank you. The first one wants to
- 39:49Speaker 1: thank you. Yes, Steve, good morning Crow. I want you
- 39:52Speaker 1: to say thank you, Steve, thank you for coming to
- 39:55Speaker 1: and you and your wife. Marsh Rgan so rock Land.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I live about eighteen mouths from the rock of land
- 40:02Speaker 1: and how us they need from wear too. They hate mentors.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I have two boys, I got one seventeen and one fourteen.
- 40:10Speaker 1: They need from wear to go. They need from mentor
- 40:13Speaker 1: mentor in And if you would speed give me some
- 40:17Speaker 1: impo more info on how they can attend there, and
- 40:21Speaker 1: once again speed, I surely surely appreciate you, your wife,
- 40:27Speaker 1: your morning crew, everything that you all, very very very inspiring.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Thank you once again. Well, he's referring to Marjorie and
- 40:37Speaker 1: I did a town hall down in upson Upton. But
- 40:43Speaker 1: it's where used to be the Rock ranch owned by
- 40:48Speaker 1: the dead, the Kathy family that owns Chick fil A.
- 40:52Speaker 1: It's a sixteen hundred acre property. God bless my wife
- 40:58Speaker 1: and I. We were able to buy it, and we
- 41:01Speaker 1: bought it ourselves personally. But we're buying it and we're
- 41:05Speaker 1: giving it and we're putting it leasing it to our
- 41:09Speaker 1: foundation for one dollar a year. And it is to
- 41:14Speaker 1: change lives and it's a great move. It's a calling
- 41:18Speaker 1: that's put on our life and we got it. And
- 41:22Speaker 1: so we're in the process of meeting with the zoning
- 41:24Speaker 1: people down there, who turn out to be really nice people.
- 41:27Speaker 1: We had we asked for the town meeting so we
- 41:30Speaker 1: could clear it up as to what we were going
- 41:32Speaker 1: to do, because we don't want to change the ruledness
- 41:34Speaker 1: of the city. We love it the way it is.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We're not trying to bring a whole lot of traffic
- 41:40Speaker 1: down there. We just want to open up the camp
- 41:42Speaker 1: and make it available for boys and girls of all religions,
- 41:47Speaker 1: racist creeds. It's a very diverse camp that we're going
- 41:51Speaker 1: to open up, and we're in the process of working
- 41:53Speaker 1: on how we're gonna build it out now. If anybody
- 41:56Speaker 1: wants to help us, please go to our foundation page.
- 41:59Speaker 1: We'll not it's not up yet, but you know, we'll
- 42:02Speaker 1: find the right help to get everything built. If not,
- 42:04Speaker 1: we'll just keep doing it with our money, God willing,
- 42:07Speaker 1: and we'll see what we can accomplish, and we hope
- 42:10Speaker 1: to get some great things. So we appreciate you, sir,
- 42:12Speaker 1: and we appreciate the kindness of the folks down there
- 42:15Speaker 1: at the town hall this past Saturday that we held.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And thank God for Marjorie because she did most of
- 42:20Speaker 1: the talk and she told me to shut up for
- 42:22Speaker 1: our said crazy and I did that doing God's work. Congratulations. Yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 1: and thanks to the caller, All right, this color is
- 42:34Speaker 1: blaming the Texas governor Steve. This next caller, Hey Steve,
- 42:38Speaker 1: I'm Johnny. I live in Dallas, Texas. Of course used
- 42:41Speaker 1: to start calling out Greg Abbott with the gun law
- 42:45Speaker 1: as he passed. He passed this jump man. And that's
- 42:48Speaker 1: what the people getting all these up for the young
- 42:50Speaker 1: people behind these guns. And Greg Abbott he's really fought
- 42:55Speaker 1: for that, all that stuff. I have clear license care,
- 42:58Speaker 1: I had all kind of back jakes, gun lag and everything.
- 43:03Speaker 1: See carriage. He's a turning people whose for these guns
- 43:05Speaker 1: they were killing people. It is his fault. Put it
- 43:08Speaker 1: on there. It's on the air. Yes, it's on the air.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And he along with fifty one senators who refuse to
- 43:17Speaker 1: address the gun laws. That's all sitting there, like Steve
- 43:22Speaker 1: Kersaid for over two years. And as we have a
- 43:25Speaker 1: Senate that's morally corrupt and owned by the n r A.
- 43:30Speaker 1: And the only thing we could do it is to
- 43:33Speaker 1: vote them out. But they're very slick now because they're tricky.
- 43:38Speaker 1: The way they control the voting population is they use
- 43:42Speaker 1: the Second Amendment as your right to bear arms. We're
- 43:45Speaker 1: not against the Second Amendment, we against anybody being able
- 43:49Speaker 1: to buy arms, but then that would cut into the profit,
- 43:52Speaker 1: so that's not gonna happen. And then they mix it
- 43:55Speaker 1: up with the anti abortion, their pro life, their anti
- 44:00Speaker 1: gay marriage, to anti immigration, all of that stuff that
- 44:04Speaker 1: makes them look and appear to be morally core up
- 44:07Speaker 1: when they are gay themselves and there's not a problem
- 44:10Speaker 1: with that. And they hire illegal immigrants all the time.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And oh, by the way, they're un weelfare too. Thank you.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Wow that okay, yeah, all right, all right, thank you, Steve,
- 44:23Speaker 1: and thanks to the callers. Coming up next, it is
- 44:25Speaker 1: the Nephew and the prank phone call for today. Right
- 44:28Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 44:34Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.

- 44:40Speaker 1: he's never in the mood. We'll get into that in
- 44:43Speaker 1: just a bit, but right now, the Nephew is here

- 47:39Speaker 1: And really, i'm because I don't know who gave you
- 47:41Speaker 1: my number was like this, I mean, working called me
- 47:45Speaker 1: because I don't even know no vaughn, No, no, you
- 47:48Speaker 1: don't know me that. I asked them who was in

- 48:50Speaker 1: something else to do, and really I'm starting that gave
- 48:53Speaker 1: you my number to call me with is I can't
- 48:56Speaker 1: believe it's like the way you're talking to you talking

- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to handle this respectively. Man, Okay, all right,
- 49:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to do. Listen to me. So I'm trying
- 49:24Speaker 1: to tell you honestly, dog, I cannot function outside of
- 49:28Speaker 1: them three numbers. I have to live an apartment three sixteen.
- 49:30Speaker 1: It ain't my business man, Yo. I don't want to

- 54:45Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, nephew. Subject, He's never in the mood.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, My husband and I are twenty seven
- 54:53Speaker 1: years old and newly married. We've been together for a
- 54:56Speaker 1: total of seven years, and we waited a until we
- 55:00Speaker 1: got married to have sex. I should have seen that
- 55:03Speaker 1: as a red flag, but I didn't. We are die
- 55:06Speaker 1: hard Christians, so I thought he was just being obedient.
- 55:10Speaker 1: He never pressured me for sex, and there were nights
- 55:12Speaker 1: I thought I was going to lose my mind because
- 55:15Speaker 1: I wanted him so badly. He's got the total package
- 55:19Speaker 1: and knows what to do with it. I was pleasantly
- 55:21Speaker 1: surprised on my wedding night, and I fell more in
- 55:24Speaker 1: love with him after our first intimate connection. I want
- 55:28Speaker 1: to keep connecting now, but he's never in the mood.
- 55:31Speaker 1: When I met him, he said sex has never been
- 55:34Speaker 1: a major thing to him. I told him it was
- 55:37Speaker 1: everything to me if I loved someone. Granted I was
- 55:41Speaker 1: only twenty years old at the time, but I have
- 55:43Speaker 1: been having sex since high school and I really really
- 55:47Speaker 1: like it. I waited seven years for him, and nowadays
- 55:51Speaker 1: I have to coerce him into being intimate. He'll take
- 55:55Speaker 1: a shower, put on pajamas, and curl up next to
- 55:57Speaker 1: me in bed, wanting to talk about his day. He
- 56:01Speaker 1: said that's what his parents did and they have a
- 56:04Speaker 1: perfect marriage. He got upset when I told him that
- 56:07Speaker 1: I'm sure they're doing more than reading books and chatting
- 56:09Speaker 1: in their bed. I can be naked and oiled up
- 56:12Speaker 1: when he comes home from work, and he'll kiss me
- 56:14Speaker 1: on the forehead, pat me on the butt, and say
- 56:17Speaker 1: something stupid like you're gonna get grease all over the couch.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I wondered if he isn't sexually attracted to me, but
- 56:26Speaker 1: he assured me that he is. He's insisting there's no
- 56:30Speaker 1: problem and I need to calm myself and focus on
- 56:32Speaker 1: other things. I'm not trying to focus on any other man,
- 56:36Speaker 1: and I am being patient. Am I wrong to want
- 56:39Speaker 1: to make love to my husband? Come on, absolutely not.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You're not wrong for desiring something that should be very
- 56:46Speaker 1: natural in a marriage. I mean marriage is hard with sex,
- 56:50Speaker 1: so marriage with no sex or hardly any sex ever,
- 56:55Speaker 1: has to be extremely challenging for you. The question is, though,
- 56:59Speaker 1: why why doesn't he want to have sex, especially when
- 57:03Speaker 1: he said he is attracted to you? Could that be
- 57:06Speaker 1: a lie? I don't know. I mean he's not doing it,
- 57:10Speaker 1: he's not acting on what he says, so I mean
- 57:12Speaker 1: some people do have low sex drives, just like others
- 57:15Speaker 1: have high sex drives. Some people are sexual sex addicts.
- 57:19Speaker 1: There's treatment for sexual addiction. So I say, you guys
- 57:23Speaker 1: need to find out about his low sex drive. I'm
- 57:25Speaker 1: not a doctor or anything like that, but I'm sure
- 57:29Speaker 1: someone can tell you if there's something wrong with him medically.
- 57:34Speaker 1: The issue is probably going to be, you know, to
- 57:37Speaker 1: get him to go to the doctor, because from the
- 57:40Speaker 1: sound of it, he doesn't think there's a problem. I mean,
- 57:42Speaker 1: didn't you say you told he told you to calm
- 57:45Speaker 1: down and focus on other things. That was Jerry just
- 57:50Speaker 1: very dismissive. You know, what other things are you supposed
- 57:53Speaker 1: to focus on when you want to have sex with
- 57:55Speaker 1: your husband. I mean, he's not hearing you at this point.
- 57:58Speaker 1: He's not taking the time to deal with the very
- 58:00Speaker 1: basic needs of his wife. This is no way to
- 58:05Speaker 1: start a marriage. And I'm sure you know that this
- 58:08Speaker 1: is something that we shouldn't even have to be talking
- 58:10Speaker 1: about right now, because you guys are newly weds and
- 58:13Speaker 1: you're only twenty seven, you've been together for seven years.
- 58:16Speaker 1: You should be all over each other by now. You
- 58:19Speaker 1: waited until marriage to have sex. I mean, I just
- 58:23Speaker 1: think it's time for some very serious heart to heart conversations,
- 58:26Speaker 1: a trip to the doctor, or you know, and find
- 58:29Speaker 1: out what the issue is. Or I think you guys
- 58:31Speaker 1: are going to be divorced. Steve twentiest, seven years old.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I'm looking back thirty eight years ago. I was twenty
- 58:41Speaker 1: seven years old, embolved on my now famous and illustrious
- 58:49Speaker 1: comedic career at the age of twenty seven. As a
- 58:57Speaker 1: peeled back into those years of youth and liberty, I
- 59:04Speaker 1: cannot think of anything more important to me than having sex.
- 59:14Speaker 1: It's not come on today at sixty five the burning
- 59:22Speaker 1: yearing consistent desire that it was then, simply because I
- 59:30Speaker 1: have to make money. Now I have businesses to run.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to be impactful instead of just packtful. It
- 59:46Speaker 1: was my job solely focused on packing back then, but
- 59:53Speaker 1: now I'm focused on being impactful. But packing has all
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: always been important, and I ain't talking about lunches either.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: When I come back, we'll continue in this same thank
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you sir. I don't know what to say. He sounds
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: like a preacher, but he's talking about packing. I don't know,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: it's just crazy. Right. We'll have part two if Steve's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: today Strawberry letters. Subject is he's never in the mood.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: to the morning show, all right, come on, Steve whatever,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: come on and up today. He's never in the mood.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Ester Packet, twenty seven years old. Both you and the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Hood brand new married, been together seven years. Waited until
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: we gotten married to have six How did you do that?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: That's a minor miracle statement right now. Most people can't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: wait till Friday. You managed to until you got married. Am.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I couldn't have waited on the weekend. I couldn't have
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: waited until tomorrow. Most time I could hardly wait at all.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Somehow you managed to wait until you were married. I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: should have seen that as a red flag. Hart To
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: saw it as a blue flag, black flag, white flag flag.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Hard A saw it as all counsel flags. We are
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: die hard Christians. That's right. You gonna die hard too. Yeah,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: if you keep this up, you're not only gonna be
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: die hard Christians, but you're gonna die hard too. You're
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: leading up to a hard death. If you ask me,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: every day that we live with one step closer to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: our final destination. But along the way, I want to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: create memories. I want to have things to look back on.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I need fueling up to continue the journey. I need
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to be a tesla. I need to get plugged in.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I'm a refrigerator that need electricity to be cool. And
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: now you say he's got the total package, and you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: know what to do. You say you were surprised on
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: your wed To night and you fail more in love
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: with him after our first intimate connection, and she says
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: she wants the connection now, but he's never in the mood.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Listen to this scripture right here. When I met him,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: he said, sex has never been a major thing to him.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: What who is he? And what is he? To you?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Your time? Now, take your time. My friends feel as
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: there appointed duty. They keep trying to tell me all
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you want to do is use me. But I can't
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: seem to get him in the mood. What is going
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: on the hell in here? I told him it was
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: everything to me as it was with I. Sex was everything,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the only thing. A matter of fact, it was the
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: leading thing. I considered it my thing. Oh lord, I'm
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: preaching now. You waited seven years and now you got
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: to co arge him into being intimate. He, she goes
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: on to say, He'll take a shower, put on pajamas,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: and curl up next to me in bed. Why would
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I already be niked come out the shower and put
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: on some hot ass pajamas. Would I do that when
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the whole goal is to get naked? I'm never in mind, tyle,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: love making career. Come out to shower naked, knowing you
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: in now and I put on some hard ass per
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: gemas for what? Uh? Saying that he wants to talk
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: about his day, I'm thing to wrap up my day.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I'm putting my day in a box and put a
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: ribbon on it. He said that's what his parents did
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: and they got a perfect marriage. I'm twenty seven. I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: got to bring heat fried bacon. I got to let
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: you have it because I got it to give it
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: to you. Get just sad. I want to total package.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: You get the whole package. Yeah, I'm sure they did
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: more than reading books and nah, here we go. I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: can be naked and all up. When he come home
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: for work, he'll kiss me on the forehead, pat me
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: on the butt and say something stupid like you're gonna
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: get grease all over the couch. Let me correct that statement.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You're gonna get me and this grease all over this
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: heir couch. Damne to take your clothes off and grease
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: up in front of me. I'll tell you what. You're
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: gonna need more grease, because I'm finna get all of
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: y'all grease on me. All right, why are we trying
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: to address this letter? I don't know those in this
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: church is now open. Bring your greasy self on up
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to the post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM on Instagram, Facebook. Check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand coming up at forty six minutes
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: after Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior? Okay, Shirley,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you know um in sports? Uh? You know hand? We
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: don't need to cover sports. I'm back. This ladder has
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: still has me upset? Yea, what is we talking about? Sports? Phone?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: When she in breezed herself up sitting on the couch,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: she asked the spot we fitting the play now? Yeah,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I'm fitting to get a gold medal in the slipping slide.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I'm fitting to be playing Fireman's carry. Come on, I'm
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: fitting to see if I can get your slippery self
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: on my shoulder, care you up the steps without dropping you.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: We gonna do a lot of things. If I come
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: home and you all up laying on the sofa. Last
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: thing I'm gonna be safe. You're gonna get grease all
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: over the couch. You're gonna get me and grease all
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: over this hill couch. We're gonna have to burn this couch.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, we're gonna have to set
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: this couch out on the tree. Lord tomorrow morning, it
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no more good for nothing. I'm not
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: gonna be answering question to visitors, what is all this
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: on the couch? You know what's on that couch? This
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: baby all baby Alan has been robbed in. Yeah, ventured
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: to say that this young couple as dude, I'm pretty
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: sure one of your co workers is listening. Yeah, and
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: he will be at work tomorrow morning to remind you
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that you ain't got to be sitting now on that
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: couch by yourself. I'm not a real minister, you know this.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I'm not a real beacon. Hell too, I'm not a
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: real judge. Yeah, I really can't fix your relationship. Hello,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: who the hell ain't ready to lose? We need some
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: ready to love in the Atlantic. Look and might as
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: well though, Junior, And this too, Junior is good as spokes. Yeah,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: and you're sitting over there looking like I spoke to me.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Let Church save man. And that's our sports for today.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: All right, listen, thank you, Junior. Coming up in the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll have some fun. We'll talk
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to the Duke of Ottingham right after this. Yeah you're
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, let's have
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: some fun um and make you laugh this morning. Okay,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: is the Duke of Nottingham? Here is he? There? Is
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: he there doing? Oh? God? Say called me? Hi? Hi?
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Here I am? What can I do for y'all? All right?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Sotingham is currently product. Yes, um, I'm trying to ask you.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Are you ready for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee? All right,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: it's almost upon us. You know that it's going down
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: next weekend. Uh. It's an historic event. It marks Her
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Majesty's record breaking seventieth seven zero seventieth year on the throne.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth the second is the longest reigning British monarch.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: There will be a parade with guards, Battalion and horse guards,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: the fly pass by the Royal Air Force. The Queen
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: will make her Alice Balcony appearance. The Queen will be
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: at the Derby Epsom Downs and the Platinum Party with
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Alicia Keiths and Diana Ross down next week. Oh that's well, love, Oh,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: but I'm telling you right now, the Platinum Party would
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: be nothing like what you're saying on television the Bridgid Times.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: There would be no black people with white wigs on,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: none of them. There would be no black people in
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: ball gowns. They're gonna have Alicia come out and Diner
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Ross and that's it. Be no more people of color
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: involved all. No black Buckingham guards down, no black horses,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: people driving the carriages. They don't even have black people
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: cooking at the palace. The food horrible, Oh, Duke, are
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: you gonna be I'm being at the ju believe, but
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna stay back at the Palace and just
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Bobby que horrible. I was in the kitchen last week.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: They have any seasoning in the entire kitchen land. I'm
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: so tired of watching them to wash these beans under
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: hot water and damn shame. While everyone's at the platinum thing,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna be out. I'm gonna go to publics and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gonna buy seasoning. Got to help him out. That's the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: reason the queen's asses so old. She has eaten no salt.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Nine she's ever had salt shove out. Nothing has no
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: clue what pepper he can hear, like, damn this thing
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I've ever seen. One time one of the cooks put
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a charred mark on her meat. She shut it back.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: He thought something was on it. It's child, But duke,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: you are excited to see Alicia Keys and of course
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Diana Roths. I know that's going to be so round
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: being the other blacks are going to be sharing from
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: a distance of blacks will be that spirit will be
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: will be allowed nowhere near Alicia or Diana. But we
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: know who they are. I'll be yelling out it's I'll
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: be singers along within past straight. I'll be singing my
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: favorite song, I like muscles. I'll be doing that with Guyana. Then,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: of course, when she does her biggest hit, reach out
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and touch someone there'll be no one of color to touch,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: so all of us blacks will be just holding hands
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: trying to participate. What my goal is to one day
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: how the palace look like? Bridgeton on TV. Such a
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: wonderful show. You know, we watched that show and we're
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: gonna who that hell the they get these people? Yeah, yeah, Duke,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: we don't get to participate in the palace, and you
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: all don't get to participate in the Constitution. Well, we're
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: supposed to. I mean, it is the democracy over here.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: We're supposed to. Oh, I told you that show. I
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: think you guys have a monarchy. Clearly you have fifty
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: one senators that can't seem to get it right over there.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Of course. Oh but they've got black ass hershel on
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the way to save the day. I understand. All right, Duke. Sorry,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: look at the time, we got to get out of here.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: as we get ready for the Memorial Day holiday weekend,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: UM gas prices are predicted to reach six dollars six
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: dollars per gallon across the country by August. Republicans blamed
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: the Biden administration, while Democrats say the oil companies are
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: price gouging. Energy and oil experts say most of the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: increases come from crude oil prices going up, and that's
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: because world demand has been coming back quite strongly from
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the pandemic and supply hasn't caught up. And not to
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: mention the Russia attack on Ukraine. Steve, you recently stopped
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: the other day to get gas with your driver. How'd
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: that turn out? How'd that go for you? Damn disaster?
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I didn't know what what happened? What do you mean?
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: He pulled up and though it was just crazy. I
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: was trying not to get recognized. But I was sitting
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: up in that sprinter d window about the size of
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: a damn minivan, the window, just the window. Yeah, everybody
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: saw me in there. It was kind of sickening. I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: didn't know how much of gas was but he he
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: feel a gas six dollars, say August unlivable cost about
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: eight hundred. And people are going on the road, this
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: holiday road. You're always in the summer, right, yeah, And
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: airline tickets are high too. Yeah. See those tickets are
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: high because they're making up for COVID, Yeah, for the pandemic.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: So they got these tickets real high now because they're
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: trying to get that money back. I was talking to
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: my neighbor. He's a pilot, and that's it. Airline prices
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: are high. He was like, yay, and then he looked
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: at me, Oh sucks for you. Right, all right, we
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: gotta go coming up with thirty minutes after thirty three
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll play a round of would
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you rather? Right after this? You're listening to Save Harvey
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Morning Show? All right time now, guys, for around it?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Would you rather? Would you rather be just forgotten? Or
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: would you rather be just hatefully remembered? They'll remember you
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: but in a hater way. No, No, you could just
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: go off and get me. I ain't gonna be here nowhere.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I ain't gonna give it. Damn. You can pick all
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: be for all I care either one. I'm all right,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: all right. Would you rather get ribs from Kansas City?
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Or would you rather get ribs from Memphis? Melphis? Man?
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Kansas City or Memphis? Why? Memphis? Why? I had them both?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Kans City got some good ribs. Now, they gave cute
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: boys over there in Kansa. They ain't no job, but
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: they're not playing around with yours in Memphis. What's the
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: different that that that Gates presidential plot us something? Oh yeah, Gates,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: we've been there too, getting there too. I love. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to say for Gates. Is all that
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: in the bag of chill. But you got to go
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: to the commissary. You got to go to Interstate. You
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: gotta go kneelies. You gotta get your mind right. I
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: gotta get your mind right up in there. Now. You
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: know that Rondezvous is more commercial barbeque cross Street from Peabody,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: But you gotta get your mind right when you go
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: down there. All right, I got that white bread frink
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: fried be wet from all that damn sun like that,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: because that how you're talking talk about bob Que because
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: food in your mouth. No no, no, no, no, no
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: no no. You gotta talking about Bobecue like you know
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you you know you got the feed bob Que. Can't
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you been here to all of it? Here? You know

- 1:18:54Speaker 1: got that baby, I got that baby all day. Give me.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Would you rather babysit a crying baby for a week?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: I mean for a day, or would you rather have
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: an unwanted house guest for a week. I'm gonna take
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: the baby. I know how to getting baby to stop crying.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: You're gonna stop all this crying. Yeah, it's just more
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a day. You ain't gonna craw all down. Man. I'm
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: putting list something in your milk before you go out.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I'm putting some bailers in that milk. That's what I'm
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: gonna do. You're gonna go nice boy. Your AS's gonna
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: go to sleep. It's gonna be tasty too. Yeah, I
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: can put a baby to sleep. You're gonna go to sleep.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: And put your ass in the middle of that little
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: that little little raft that they had their feet out
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: and put them in the pool. Push his ass out
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: there in the middle of that water. And the did
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: n't deal with it, He'll stop crying up a while.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: They didn't go to sleep. Hard to keep swimming back
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: over and I keep kicking you back out in the middle.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: All right, that's today's round. If would you rather coming up?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day, and you
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: do not want to miss Steve's closing remarks at forty
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour right after this you're listening
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: save hard. All right, here we are, last break of
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the day. Steve closing remarks. That's all I can say.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: You're the one yesterday We're outstanding and hurtful. Well I'm
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: still all one. So here I go again. Excuse me,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: but once again, let me remind you the person that's
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: doing the talking. And if you don't understand me or
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: like what I'm about to say, I really do understand
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it because you ain't had to walk in our shoes.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And I'm speaking for a lot of black people, a
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: lot of people of color. I'm talking to a lot
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: of white people who are sympathetic to us. It just
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: ain't enough, though, because the one that's need to be
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: sympathetic to us and understand us, it ain't but fifty
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: one of them, and they call senators and for some
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: reason they don't give a damn about us at all,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: not a zero, not a zilch, because we don't represent power,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: position or money. So now let me continue on with
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: something I was talking about yes last yesterday. Because you know,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I'm a bass fisherman and I go to lakes and
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: a bass fish. I'm mostly fish out of my own
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: now because I got tired of all of the craziness
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: that I had to deal with. But even in my
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: own I throw them back. Do you know that if
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you don't catch a bass or bass now, because that's
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: a wildlife game, if it's not a certain length, you
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: can't have it on your stream. If the game if
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: fish wildlife come along and you put your string out
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: the water and it's got a bass on that it's
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: not fifteen inches, I think that's it. I'm maybe off
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: or inch or two. But if it's not the right length,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: you have to throw that fish back because they got rules.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: You have to throw a bass back. If you catch
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: a salmon in the wrong time of year, do you
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: know that's illegal and you would do jail time for that.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: But now bass has to be a certain lift for
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: you to be able to keep it on the strain
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: and kill it. But when it comes to us, the
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: size don't matter, the weight don't matter, the age don't matter,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: the height don't matter. You can do it whenever you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: want to and get away with it. Something is wrong here, man,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: when we will protect wildlife more than our life, and don't,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: by the way, excuse me. Ain't y'all the pro life party?
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Oh oh, are you not the pro life party? So
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: why you act when it comes to our life? You
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: give a damn bout monkeys animals. You got dog commercials
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: on here, playing that sad ass music about them puppies
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: and stuff, But there ain't no sad songs about us.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: We're save in the arms of an angel. Well, damn it,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: we ain't. We ain't safe in the arms of the angel.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: If y'all got the gun and you sell the gun
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to anybody for profit, a person can walk in and
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: buy a suit of body armor on Amazon or anywhere.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Amazon ought to be shame of the ass too. How
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: much money he needs? Ain't that Jeff Bezos company? How
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: much money he needs when he gonna stop allowing them
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: to sell certain certain things on his platform. You know,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: we all got to get together to knock this out,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: because if the senators ain't gonna do something, then dammit,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the rest of us need to show enough. Try to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: do something. Now, all these old ass people talking about
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: come and try to take my gun, and see what's happening.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: See the problem with y'all need y'all keep missing the
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: mark because y'all keep changing the narrative. Ain't nobody trying
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: to take your gun from you. You can have a
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: gun if you're a law Biden citizen. But how law
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Biden was that little stink ass boy that came in
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: and killed all them people in Buffalo. Was he a
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: law Biden said? How he get the gun? This is
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: what we're talking about, the little ignorant fool that went
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: in Sandy Hood. How law Biden was Hill, Why he
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: got it gun? This butthole it came in here and
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: just kill these kids down here in Texas. How law
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Biden was heat. But on Fox all y'all talking about
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: this border control and how brave the border agents for
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and how police are. He rose We on that side too,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: that our great policemen were at women in this country.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: That ain't what we're saying, that our great border patrol
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: people in this country. That ain't what we're saying. But
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: we're talking about the bad when you got though. We're
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: talking about the ones that put their knees on people's neck,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the one that kill us by accident cause of love
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: music and all this. Now the NURA it's gonna meet
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: in Texas. The key speakers is Donald Trump, Ted Cruise
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and Governor Abbot and they're all going, I'm sick of
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: y'all standing behind this in our a thing. And then
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: fifty one senators see we can get all the upstanding
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: citizens we want to agree with us, but until them
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: fifty one that y'all put in office, y'all are as
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: much to blame for this as anybody else because you
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: refuse to do anything about it. This is the pro
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: life party, But who life you pro fum? Because right
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: now I don't seem me like nothing like y'all just
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: pro life for fish, bads, chickens and damn DearS. When
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: y'all gonna get pro life about living people. Y'all real
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: good at the unborn, and I ain't got no problem
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: with that, But what about the life of the people
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: that's already here? Can you get as pro life for
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: the people as here as you are with the people
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: that's to come. That's all I wanted to say today,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: and I'm still mad if you don't like what I say,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: I really don't give a damn because you ain't me,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: and you ain't trying to see it how we see it.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: So miss me again once again, have a nice date,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: because we ain't. For all. Steve Harvey Contests no purchase
