- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join by join me to be doing me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. Let you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn. You haven't got to turn them
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn. Turn the water the water. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your baby, dat h I sure will a good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I was. I had my head down then it was
- 2:17Speaker 1: thinking of what I wanted to say this morning. But
- 2:21Speaker 1: it kind of it's kind of be something I've lived
- 2:25Speaker 1: for a long time, and you know, for a long time,
- 2:30Speaker 1: you know, I had a lot of faith in people.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You know. It's strange too, because you know, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: my mother was a Sunday school teacher, so of course
- 2:39Speaker 1: I grew up around it, knowing the scriptures and things
- 2:43Speaker 1: like that. Not not a lot of them, but you know,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the ones I retained. But having her as a mother
- 2:50Speaker 1: was was a huge help and understand about faith. But
- 2:53Speaker 1: even with that, as I grew up, I began to
- 2:57Speaker 1: put a lot of faith in people. And you know,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I figured, you know, just like everybody else, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 1: man if I could just meet this person, or if
- 3:06Speaker 1: I could just sit down with that person, or man
- 3:09Speaker 1: if I could just get this person to hear my ideal,
- 3:13Speaker 1: or man if just if this person could hear my track,
- 3:17Speaker 1: or man if I could just get this in the
- 3:18Speaker 1: hands or somebody in the know. I was, like everybody else,
- 3:23Speaker 1: I thought that way. You know, I actually thought that
- 3:26Speaker 1: if I could get in a certain situation with a
- 3:28Speaker 1: certain person, that if a certain person were to meet me,
- 3:33Speaker 1: that you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:42Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:45Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:48Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: person for me, and you know, you just lay claim
- 3:54Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person me,
- 4:00Speaker 1: This is the person that I want to spend the
- 4:02Speaker 1: rest of my life with. You know, sometimes, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: we just lay claim to stuff, and it's not always
- 4:07Speaker 1: what's in our best interest, or it's not always a fact,
- 4:10Speaker 1: it's just what we decided we want it. And I
- 4:13Speaker 1: was guilty of that, just like anybody else. And I
- 4:16Speaker 1: spent a lot of years in my life putting faith
- 4:19Speaker 1: in people. Man, if I could tell you anything this morning,
- 4:23Speaker 1: it's to stop putting your faith in people and put
- 4:26Speaker 1: your faith in God where it counts the most. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: you can get something out of this one. See, here's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a deal about a relationship with God. It's the same
- 4:36Speaker 1: all the time. He never changes. His word is one absolute.
- 4:41Speaker 1: His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It's this is what it is. He's very clear. Now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you can deviate off your end at a bargain, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: it don't stop what he says from being true. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: if he asks you to do something, if God asks
- 4:58Speaker 1: you to be a certain way, to do a little
- 5:01Speaker 1: something a certain way, and you don't do it that way,
- 5:03Speaker 1: then you know you could still possibly get by for
- 5:08Speaker 1: a while. But don't you understand that his end of
- 5:11Speaker 1: the deal stays the same, and as long as you're
- 5:14Speaker 1: not doing it the way you're supposed to, the results
- 5:16Speaker 1: are not going to be what you wanted to be.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And I did this for years and years and years,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I counted on people, and you know, I got
- 5:25Speaker 1: myself in a lot of situations. And I got out
- 5:27Speaker 1: one a dire situation that I'd been in for a
- 5:31Speaker 1: number of years. But he had protected me from years
- 5:33Speaker 1: prior to that. I didn't even know what was going on,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and then he made it away. It made me aware
- 5:38Speaker 1: of the problem. And then, man, lord ha mercy, I
- 5:42Speaker 1: was in a dismal situation. And then at the end
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the year, I was free, free from it all.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 5:51Speaker 1: led up to that, and in going through that process,
- 5:55Speaker 1: I had to learn something. Man. I learned a lot
- 5:58Speaker 1: about people. See, if you want to learn about your friends,
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you want to learn about your people people around you,
- 6:06Speaker 1: Get yourself in some trouble, get yourself in a situation.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh man, you start looking around. Man, the field get
- 6:13Speaker 1: real clear when you're in trouble. The field clear is
- 6:17Speaker 1: out when you're in doubt, when you don't know what
- 6:19Speaker 1: to do, when you need help, it get real clear
- 6:22Speaker 1: on the play and field, then don't it. Oh, But
- 6:25Speaker 1: when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw on a celebration. We were gonna We're gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:33Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:41Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all of mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:05Speaker 1: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No, I
- 7:14Speaker 1: hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my own
- 7:18Speaker 1: this situation because I hear you saying it. But I'm
- 7:22Speaker 1: gonna take this faith of mine and instead of putting
- 7:25Speaker 1: it in people, I'm gonna put it in God where
- 7:27Speaker 1: it counts the most. Because his word is absolute. What
- 7:30Speaker 1: he say he gonna do, he gonna do what he says.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's not gonna tolerate. He's not gonna tolerate. Now, you
- 7:36Speaker 1: can make it, you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but he's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there find themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me. Or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let me ask you, whetting people. At the only one
- 8:00Speaker 1: that I found when I was in my deepest trouble,
- 8:03Speaker 1: when me and my wife were in our darkest situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: was God. It is the only one, was the only
- 8:10Speaker 1: one who was just right there, right there, all the
- 8:14Speaker 1: way through. Now, let me explain something to you. Because
- 8:20Speaker 1: you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 8:24Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 8:27Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 8:32Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 8:36Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 8:40Speaker 1: will give you the strength to overcome the situation when
- 8:44Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he cracks it open,
- 8:48Speaker 1: for you and the sun is bright and shining. What
- 8:50Speaker 1: he don't want you to do is when he gets
- 8:52Speaker 1: sunny again, to forget about him who was there when
- 8:56Speaker 1: it was dark for you. See, I used to do
- 8:58Speaker 1: that too. I was, Oh, man, I did it. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: telling you right now, I did it. But I'm telling
- 9:04Speaker 1: you man, when I learned a very serious lesson and
- 9:09Speaker 1: I watched some people I thought were friends of mine
- 9:13Speaker 1: just sort of casually remove themselves from the situation. Then
- 9:18Speaker 1: I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around. We said, okay,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's just me, you and God. And when we started
- 9:24Speaker 1: conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us, we
- 9:30Speaker 1: remember God. We stay prayerful, we keep talking to him.
- 9:34Speaker 1: We thank him for the sunshine, we thank him for
- 9:36Speaker 1: the dark days that he allowed us to do, who
- 9:39Speaker 1: allowed us to survive it and turn it into sunny days.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And we talked to him constantly to protect us of
- 9:45Speaker 1: our future enemies. And that's what the deal is. So
- 9:48Speaker 1: if I was everybody, I would stop putting your faith
- 9:50Speaker 1: in people and put your trust in God where it
- 9:53Speaker 1: really does count the most, It really really does. You're listening,
- 10:00Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, let me have it. Please your undivided attention.

- 16:16Speaker 1: I said, I'm leaving your bed like I ain't going

- 16:44Speaker 1: gospel hits? Any? Oh? Yeah, yeah, y'all wrote a whole
- 16:49Speaker 1: lot of gospel. This boy where well where if he

- 17:10Speaker 1: you what. I'll tell you what name the song? And
- 17:12Speaker 1: see if I got to hit you with Shelly what goblins?
- 17:15Speaker 1: So you wanna talk about Kirk Franklin brighter day? How
- 17:19Speaker 1: about that one? Kirk Franklin brighter deep? What I call
- 17:24Speaker 1: what I tell time? He don't even know how to
- 17:28Speaker 1: spell brighter day? Hard to have a brighter day on
- 17:32Speaker 1: the way to hell all the time? Women? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I well see Kirk Franklin. Was Kirk Franklin that it
- 17:43Speaker 1: was in the room when I was in the temptation.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He was temptation. No, I wasn't I wasn't with him.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I was in the room with the temptation when it
- 17:52Speaker 1: was right when I got when the cold outside, I
- 17:57Speaker 1: got them from me. Yeah, yeah, girl, you know when
- 18:00Speaker 1: it's cloudy, I got them, you know, morble me all
- 18:03Speaker 1: like that and show them. That's when Kirk Franklin, father,
- 18:07Speaker 1: Benjamin Franklin, he said, he's saying to me. He said, well, God,
- 18:13Speaker 1: that sounded like a church on if he might get
- 18:16Speaker 1: a brighter day. And I wouldn't go ahead and that,
- 18:18Speaker 1: and that's how it came about. If you believe that,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you're going to hell with it, because you better believe
- 18:28Speaker 1: that the first of all, Kirk Franklin, Dad, it probably
- 18:31Speaker 1: ain't named Benjamin Franklin. That's you don't think so, sister,
- 18:37Speaker 1: Why Roscoe Benjamin Franklin was an old white man that
- 18:41Speaker 1: discovered electricity right now, No, it wasn't. No, I won't
- 18:45Speaker 1: see you got that wrong. Benjamin Franklin had on one
- 18:47Speaker 1: hundred dollars bill that who he is, I don't know
- 18:51Speaker 1: discovered electricity. I don't give it that one in that,
- 18:54Speaker 1: but he on a hunted that. That's what I care about, now,
- 18:58Speaker 1: did you right? For the love of money, By the
- 19:01Speaker 1: ojas well, I tell you like this hill ed in
- 19:05Speaker 1: the Verge. Daddy and me was sitting around one day
- 19:10Speaker 1: where where converted convert love and me and me and
- 19:19Speaker 1: Covert were sitting around one day and uh, he was
- 19:24Speaker 1: trying his car had broke down in front of my
- 19:27Speaker 1: house already know, but go ahead, and then brown car
- 19:35Speaker 1: row down in vert of house. And then you know,
- 19:37Speaker 1: he needed some help. And somebody was driving by and
- 19:40Speaker 1: I came back and he owed me some money and Covert, no,
- 19:45Speaker 1: he owed me three hundred dollars. So when I paid
- 19:49Speaker 1: by Covert and he said, hey, Rocko Roscoe, I need
- 19:53Speaker 1: some help, and I said what I need in my money,
- 19:57Speaker 1: money and money and money and more. And then my
- 20:02Speaker 1: kids were in the background and there, sir, I'll definitely right.
- 20:09Speaker 1: You want to tell us what's coming up next, mister Oldale, like,
- 20:12Speaker 1: thank you? Then prank ain't the one time and do them.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But when he do them from the one he did today,
- 20:16Speaker 1: fault you got to do radio. I think he's talented,
- 20:25Speaker 1: but he runs out a lot. So we're doing the
- 20:28Speaker 1: walls there we did yesterday, saw hands off me. I
- 20:37Speaker 1: need your jail him to give me out by no
- 20:38Speaker 1: car you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 20:44Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Miss Annah standing
- 20:47Speaker 1: by with today's national news. Also inside of entertainment news,
- 20:51Speaker 1: Jesse Smallett in the news again. He has been indicted
- 20:54Speaker 1: in Chicago on six counts for alleged racist For his
- 20:58Speaker 1: alleged racist attack, we'll talk about this at the top
- 21:02Speaker 1: of the hour. Wow. Yeah, and the words of Dave
- 21:07Speaker 1: Chapelle Right right now, though, it is time for the
- 21:11Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back what you got for
- 21:13Speaker 1: his nap as we're riding on again. Edible fruit? Edible fruit,
- 21:20Speaker 1: let's go, come on. Okay, hello, stories, how can I

- 21:33Speaker 1: I actually have a delivery, uh, edible fruit delivery for Chad,
- 21:38Speaker 1: and I'm trying to make sure I got the address
- 21:39Speaker 1: and everything correct. Oh um, well, who's it from? I
- 21:43Speaker 1: think it's from you? You? Um, your name is what's
- 21:46Speaker 1: your name is? Davina? I didn't order any any edible arrangements. Okay,
- 21:51Speaker 1: there's sport Valentine's. Yeah, that's that's definitely must be a mistake.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Are you sure I was in? Chad ordered some atiball
- 21:59Speaker 1: arrangements for me. I think that's that might make some sense.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's quite a chance. I can hear this. Who's who?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Who sent this? Miss the reader? The reader? Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 22:13Speaker 1: that's not me at all. I'm Devena and that isn't
- 22:16Speaker 1: zing your name. Why she would send anything, right, I'm
- 22:20Speaker 1: chat but the name, that's a totally different persons. Okay,
- 22:25Speaker 1: so do you know the reader Clark? Who is there? Oh,
- 22:27Speaker 1: that's not someone I associate where personally. That's Chad's ex
- 22:31Speaker 1: wife and that doesn't make any sense for her to
- 22:33Speaker 1: be sending us to anything. So you don't. You don't
- 22:36Speaker 1: even have to. I don't think she sent us. She
- 22:40Speaker 1: didn't send it. She said this chance she didn't send
- 22:43Speaker 1: it to you. Okay, Well, I'm just gonna let you
- 22:45Speaker 1: know we don't need that delivery, so thank you. Anyway,
- 22:48Speaker 1: you can go ahead and um and you can keep
- 22:50Speaker 1: that for your hold on, hold on, miss um, don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: less y'all say right name, don't worry, don't don't don't
- 22:57Speaker 1: worry too much about that. But if I don't make
- 22:59Speaker 1: my deliveries, I don't get paid. I have to deliver
- 23:02Speaker 1: these of this edible fruit. Man. I doesn't make any sense,
- 23:05Speaker 1: sus And I'll just discard it myself if you if
- 23:08Speaker 1: you need to bring it. But I'm sure I have
- 23:10Speaker 1: to bring it. But let me ask you something. I
- 23:13Speaker 1: mean this, lady. I mean, I'm not trying to pry
- 23:15Speaker 1: into anything, but I mean, have you have you bought
- 23:18Speaker 1: him anything for battle? No? I haven't, But I have
- 23:21Speaker 1: plenty of time to get about something that don't make
- 23:26Speaker 1: sense to me. Why Why haven't you bought anything? All right?
- 23:28Speaker 1: I don't think you need to worry about what I
- 23:30Speaker 1: get from my man or what I don't get from
- 23:32Speaker 1: my husband. All right, that's none of your concerns. Well
- 23:36Speaker 1: is concerned about making sure he gets something. I'm sorry,
- 23:39Speaker 1: who am I speaking to? My name is Perkins, okay,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and I already told you we don't need know god delivery.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I don't need you ask me questions about it. I
- 23:47Speaker 1: told you my mar all right. Well, I'm I'm not
- 23:51Speaker 1: gonna fight to fight with you on phones, but I
- 23:53Speaker 1: could be two fools here argument. I'm all we don't
- 23:56Speaker 1: need anything. What no I need? I need to know.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You don't need to speak questioning me about what I
- 24:02Speaker 1: do or don't do for my husband. That's absolutely none
- 24:04Speaker 1: of your God business. I need to know when mister
- 24:07Speaker 1: Chad is gonna be there, so mister Chad might want
- 24:09Speaker 1: don't worry so much about Chad. This is our family business,
- 24:12Speaker 1: family business. I'm his wife. Do you understand what that means?
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm his wife. I understand it. Whatever, thenly his ex
- 24:18Speaker 1: wife want him to have his fruit? And if you
- 24:21Speaker 1: want pissed me on Chad and I'm not, I'm not
- 24:24Speaker 1: being to become delivering nothing you and you're gonna throw
- 24:27Speaker 1: it away. This is Chad's fruit basket. And she did
- 24:30Speaker 1: she send you? Did you really send you? Specifically? I
- 24:35Speaker 1: just want to understand what the hell is going on
- 24:36Speaker 1: because you seem really invested in in my husband's ex wife.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I don't even understand why, but it's gonna piss me off.
- 24:42Speaker 1: So I want some answers. And you use the right word.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You're not invested in Chad. Why haven't you bought anything
- 24:49Speaker 1: for Chad? Is why perct fruit Perkins. I'm gonna need
- 24:52Speaker 1: to speak to God and manager, because I'm getting real
- 24:55Speaker 1: upset right now and you don't want no problems with me,
- 24:57Speaker 1: So why don't you hand over your manager of the
- 24:59Speaker 1: phone and we're gonna settle this, me and your manager,
- 25:01Speaker 1: And I don't want to ever see you because I
- 25:03Speaker 1: I don't even know what I'm gonna do. I've been
- 25:05Speaker 1: so disrespected on this phone call right now, wim I
- 25:08Speaker 1: hold them in day, So why don't you pass your
- 25:10Speaker 1: manager of the phone. I'm not afriend to put you
- 25:12Speaker 1: on the phone on the phone with your manage. You
- 25:15Speaker 1: don't have some for me, I'm gonna call back. I'm
- 25:16Speaker 1: gonna make sure you get fired. But disrespecting me, you're
- 25:19Speaker 1: taking your anger out on the ex wife and you're
- 25:22Speaker 1: taking it out on me, the anger that you have
- 25:24Speaker 1: for her, you're taking it out on me. That's what
- 25:26Speaker 1: you're doing. No, I'm taking out the disrespect that you
- 25:29Speaker 1: keep laying on top of me, like like you don't
- 25:32Speaker 1: know how to talk to somebody. I don't stand how
- 25:33Speaker 1: you have this job, calling you disrespected me like this.
- 25:36Speaker 1: All I'm saying is the lady won't chad to have
- 25:38Speaker 1: this proved bass in business? None of your fucking business.
- 25:42Speaker 1: So like I said, give you manager the phone, because
- 25:44Speaker 1: I'm see to it that you're fired. Okay, okay, all right,
- 25:48Speaker 1: can you hold on for a minute. Yeah, I can't
- 25:50Speaker 1: hold on. Go ahead, hey time. This is the man's wife.
- 25:54Speaker 1: She don't want me to deliver the stuff because the
- 25:56Speaker 1: ex wife is who sent it to him, and she
- 26:00Speaker 1: don't want too serious. So she got the attitude and
- 26:04Speaker 1: she's cuts in at me and I've been talking crazy
- 26:07Speaker 1: to her and I haven't take the boots stuff in
- 26:10Speaker 1: spite for him the fruit bask I need you to
- 26:13Speaker 1: just give you manager the phone. If that's enough explaining,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell him what I over Helloak with Liz. Hi.
- 26:22Speaker 1: My name is Davina, and I need to talk to
- 26:24Speaker 1: you about your your customer service delivery person, whatever he is.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I have been so disrespected on the phone. I've never
- 26:32Speaker 1: been met with such hostility on the phone before. At
- 26:35Speaker 1: this point, I just I just want to put this
- 26:37Speaker 1: behind me. I just want you to take it. Make
- 26:39Speaker 1: sure you speak to him, penalize him. If he doesn't
- 26:42Speaker 1: understand where he just did, but he just speaks, I will,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I will, I will. I will definitely reprimand him for that.
- 26:48Speaker 1: And I don't want him making no delivery, not to
- 26:50Speaker 1: my not to my place of this. I'm here on
- 26:52Speaker 1: Friday all day. I don't need any delivery. Can I
- 26:55Speaker 1: don't want him to make a delivery. But can I
- 26:57Speaker 1: ask you delivery? I'm sorry, go ahead, Okay, I can't
- 27:00Speaker 1: take it. I can't take it. Listen, this is nephew

- 27:45Speaker 1: the land, The Steve Harvey Morning So short, talk to me,
- 27:55Speaker 1: Come on much. What you want us today for Valentine?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What it is? That's all? It's a fruit basket? Okay. Now,
- 28:03Speaker 1: if the ex wife wants to send a fruit basket, hey,
- 28:05Speaker 1: she could do that. That's how rush she came. Right,
- 28:11Speaker 1: she has the right to buy anything she wants to.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It's not against the law. And she can send it
- 28:15Speaker 1: to anybody she wants to. It's not against the law. Okay, okay,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'm here. Yeah, and you have been warned. Situation told
- 28:24Speaker 1: you security show life jumping off this weekend. Baby, it's
- 28:34Speaker 1: the nephew. Oh my god. Yeah, it's comedy. It's going
- 28:37Speaker 1: down Cleveland, Cincinnati, and what else Memphis, Tennessee. Laying in
- 28:41Speaker 1: the cut on Sunday me DL Hughley said you to
- 28:44Speaker 1: the entertainer Deon Cole and Earthquake tickets on selling all
- 28:47Speaker 1: Ticketmaster outlets. That's Cleveland, Cincinnati, Memphis, pick us on sell.
- 28:54Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you very much. Coming up, we'll
- 28:58Speaker 1: get into that entertainment news at the time of the hour.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to morning show. Well. In
- 29:07Speaker 1: today's entertainment news, a grand jury returned to six felony
- 29:12Speaker 1: count indictment accusing actor Jesse Smallette of lying to Chicago
- 29:16Speaker 1: police when he reported a racist and homophobic attack last year.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Special prosecutor announced Tuesday. Special Prosecutor Webb said Jesse planned
- 29:27Speaker 1: and participated in a stage hate crime attack and made
- 29:31Speaker 1: numerous false statements. To Chicago police officers. Um oh boy.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Jesse will be arraigned on February twenty fourth. If convicted,
- 29:40Speaker 1: he faces up to three years in state prison. That's
- 29:45Speaker 1: darn serious. Lying to police officers, yet came back to
- 29:50Speaker 1: police officers three years. Yeah, the president lied to the
- 29:53Speaker 1: whole country. Yeah, every day. Yeah, sentence right about Nah, Man,
- 30:03Speaker 1: I think that's a bit this personal. I think it's personal.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I really think man, that they wanted they they were
- 30:13Speaker 1: so Look, first of all, I got the day upset
- 30:18Speaker 1: because he cost the city some money, and then they
- 30:22Speaker 1: did all. I get that. I get I think Uh,
- 30:31Speaker 1: I think probation and a fine would be adequate for that,
- 30:37Speaker 1: you know, I mean that punishment would fit the crime. Yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: you know, have him payback restitution any money to the
- 30:43Speaker 1: city if that's what you want to do. But jail time. Wow,
- 30:49Speaker 1: And he maintained his innocence throughout this home the heat
- 30:53Speaker 1: won't we can get off that. Yeah, we stand, We're
- 30:56Speaker 1: gonna quit. We're gonna just this's what we if we
- 31:00Speaker 1: do stop. We like the little rope into that courtroom
- 31:07Speaker 1: you saw. Yeah, how did I get jumped on? Damn?
- 31:16Speaker 1: Their choke bleach and beat and managed to locate my
- 31:21Speaker 1: sandwich and pick it up and go back home with
- 31:24Speaker 1: this damn sel forget with the new steel around my neck,
- 31:28Speaker 1: bro bro, and you know you know how much lunch
- 31:31Speaker 1: meat would be all over that ground? M And not
- 31:35Speaker 1: only that? Why why that's why? What? Right? Why? Now
- 31:40Speaker 1: with the prosecution and the indictment, Well they say why
- 31:44Speaker 1: do it? No? Why do you talking about? Why did
- 31:47Speaker 1: he do? Yeah? He do it? Yeah? Yeah? What was
- 31:50Speaker 1: that for? When I didn't have something to do with
- 31:51Speaker 1: the show. He wanted more money or something. Wasn't it
- 31:55Speaker 1: how you get to get your ass? Yeah? You can't
- 31:58Speaker 1: get moment to be bell, to be more popular. Do
- 32:02Speaker 1: you know how much money I would have if I
- 32:03Speaker 1: could get money for your ass? Who's not in two
- 32:09Speaker 1: right now? Because my father and mama owes me to
- 32:13Speaker 1: the tunes of hundreds of meal gets. If we getting
- 32:16Speaker 1: paid per hat whipping John mo owes me last singer
- 32:21Speaker 1: to beat my ass so bad one time. If I
- 32:24Speaker 1: could get the money from Tommy Cameron, but Nod Taylor
- 32:27Speaker 1: beat me one time. I thought Johnny wal was my daddy.
- 32:32Speaker 1: He come money back for the time that I had mine.
- 32:41Speaker 1: We're not getting money for ass whippings. Now we're gonna
- 32:44Speaker 1: stop this right now, arranged. All right, Steve, time to
- 32:51Speaker 1: get caught up on today's headlines. Please, ladies and gentlemen.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm just trying to what his restitution reparation.
- 33:00Speaker 1: This is what I'd be needing number pots in February.
- 33:03Speaker 1: You think you when you get there, would Ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:10Speaker 1: Miss miss Anne, thank you very much. This is entered
- 33:13Speaker 1: with the news. Health officials are now calling the coronavirus
- 33:17Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. Some one thousand people are now dead. Another
- 33:20Speaker 1: forty two thousand people have been infected. The vast majority
- 33:24Speaker 1: the case is still in Wuhan, China, and doctors say
- 33:26Speaker 1: they may not be a vaccine for another eighteen months
- 33:29Speaker 1: as expected. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire
- 33:32Speaker 1: primary yesterday over Peter Buddha Jedge, but just barely. He
- 33:35Speaker 1: didn't do that great. Buddha Jedge criticized Sanders style and
- 33:39Speaker 1: his rhetoric. We can't defeat the most divisive president in
- 33:42Speaker 1: modern American history by tearing down anybody who doesn't agree
- 33:46Speaker 1: with us one hundred percent of the time. Amy Klobcher
- 33:48Speaker 1: came in third winning more New Hampshire votes than either
- 33:51Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren or Joe Biden combined. Warren and Biden came
- 33:55Speaker 1: in a distant fourth and fifth place with less than
- 33:57Speaker 1: ten percent of the vote, after Nevada and South Carolina.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Though it'll be on to the big bunch of Super
- 34:01Speaker 1: Tuesday primaries. Andrew Yang, Deval Patrick, and Michael Bennett have
- 34:05Speaker 1: now all ended their campaigns. Looks like the Trump ally
- 34:09Speaker 1: Roger Stone is going to be spending less time behind
- 34:12Speaker 1: bars and mandated. After President Trump went on Twitter some
- 34:15Speaker 1: people saying putting his thumb on the scale to criticize
- 34:18Speaker 1: the seven to nine sentence that prosecutors said that Stone deserved.
- 34:22Speaker 1: A US attorney was General William Barr said he's revising
- 34:26Speaker 1: the recommended sentence because of that. A Justice Department prosecutor
- 34:29Speaker 1: who worked under former Special Counsel of Robert Mueller, he
- 34:31Speaker 1: officially quit. Another prosecutor quit as well. Roger Stone was
- 34:35Speaker 1: accused of breaking the law while working as an intermediary
- 34:38Speaker 1: between President Trump and Wiki leaks in twenty seventeen. Stone
- 34:42Speaker 1: convicted last fall of witness tampering, making false statements, and
- 34:45Speaker 1: obstruction by the way Utah Senator Mitt Romney not the
- 34:49Speaker 1: only Republican politician speaking out against Donald Trump's recent acquittal.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Vermont's Governor Phil Scott says quote, President Trump abused his
- 34:57Speaker 1: power and shouldn't be in office. Governor Scott as a Republican,
- 35:00Speaker 1: he says he didn't vote for the for the president,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and he thinks that for the voters to decide in
- 35:04Speaker 1: November is what they need to do to decide if
- 35:06Speaker 1: Trump should continue in that role. He also praised Romney
- 35:10Speaker 1: for his courage. Former marine and now Democratic congressman. Among
- 35:13Speaker 1: those who walked out of President Trump's Stayed the Union
- 35:16Speaker 1: speech last Tuesday, Seth Malton of Massachusetts says he walked
- 35:19Speaker 1: out when Trump started talking about his record breaking investments
- 35:22Speaker 1: and support the military. Malton says that Trump is a
- 35:25Speaker 1: draft dodger who mocked the late Senator John McCain, gold
- 35:28Speaker 1: star families and soldiers with traumatic brain injuries. Sad News
- 35:34Speaker 1: lead singer Tony Smith has died. A lot of people
- 35:42Speaker 1: thought that that was going to be Chapter Con but
- 35:46Speaker 1: it was really Tony Smith and she has passed. I'm
- 35:48Speaker 1: sorry for that. Also, actor Robert Conrad has died. Robert Conrad,
- 35:52Speaker 1: perhaps best known as James West on the long running
- 35:55Speaker 1: TV show Wild Wild West. Now back to Steve Harvey
- 35:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening, Dave Harpy Morning Show. Audio of
- 36:03Speaker 1: former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg defending the stop
- 36:06Speaker 1: and frisk policing against minorities has resurfaced, and now the
- 36:11Speaker 1: presidential hopeful is on the ropes. During a radio appearance
- 36:15Speaker 1: back in twenty thirteen, Bloomberg said, too many whites are
- 36:19Speaker 1: being stopped in frisk while minorities are getting off easy.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Take a listen. They just keep saying, Oh, it's a
- 36:26Speaker 1: disportunate percentage of a particular ethnic group. That may be,
- 36:30Speaker 1: but it's not a disportunate percentage of those who witnesses
- 36:33Speaker 1: and victims describe as committee member in that case. Incidentally,
- 36:38Speaker 1: I think we disportunately stop whites too much and minorities
- 36:42Speaker 1: too little. Okay, when did you say that? It's out there?
- 36:47Speaker 1: Twenty thirteen, seven years ago. Then in twenty fifteen, Bloomberg
- 36:53Speaker 1: said police targeting minorities is the best statistically way to
- 36:59Speaker 1: get guns off the streets. Back in January of this year,
- 37:02Speaker 1: when Bloomberg was on the View, he said he apologized.
- 37:07Speaker 1: He said, I thought about it and wished I had
- 37:09Speaker 1: done it earlier. Some think Bloomberg's apologies are simply, you know,
- 37:13Speaker 1: because he's in the campaign, the presidential campaign. Some people
- 37:17Speaker 1: think that Donald Trump treated Wow Bloomberg of something something racist.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump treated that Wow. Then they showed Donald Trump
- 37:32Speaker 1: saying the exact same about to stop him frisk pology.
- 37:39Speaker 1: We are in such a messed up state here because
- 37:42Speaker 1: you know, you want to vote for somebody. Then they
- 37:46Speaker 1: kind of mad at Biden because Biden had some something
- 37:49Speaker 1: to do with the you know, laws that cause a
- 37:53Speaker 1: lot of African Americans to be jailed, something to that effect.
- 37:57Speaker 1: All of these people, y'all, let me let me help
- 38:00Speaker 1: you understand. Most of these white men of a certain
- 38:06Speaker 1: age that are in politics are from the good old
- 38:11Speaker 1: boy club. Most of them, not all of them, but
- 38:17Speaker 1: most older white men in politics and with money are
- 38:23Speaker 1: from the good old boy club. And what I want
- 38:26Speaker 1: you all to understand this, This is the type of
- 38:29Speaker 1: conversation that they have about us when they around each other,
- 38:35Speaker 1: just like the blacks have certain conversations when we just
- 38:40Speaker 1: around each other. What's alarming is when you hear the
- 38:44Speaker 1: video tape or the recording of one of them saying
- 38:48Speaker 1: these things, but has not the policy and treatment of
- 38:54Speaker 1: black men and blacks overall throughout our history. Bear fruit
- 39:00Speaker 1: to the things that you finally able to hear them
- 39:02Speaker 1: because of social media. Yeah, but this has been going on, right,
- 39:08Speaker 1: This is how a lot of them talk and think
- 39:11Speaker 1: about us. We got to move on here, But I
- 39:14Speaker 1: do want to say this. Valentine's Day is Friday, and
- 39:17Speaker 1: Steve will be here with more suggestions on a perfect
- 39:20Speaker 1: date night right after this. You're listening, all right, So guys,
- 39:26Speaker 1: especially the guys, Valentine's Day is Friday, and Steve, you
- 39:31Speaker 1: promised that you would, you know, give us tips, give
- 39:34Speaker 1: the guys tips on how to treat their ladies on
- 39:36Speaker 1: but on certain particular budgets. For Yeah, for Valentine's Day,
- 39:41Speaker 1: you want to yam, Yeah, you don't need no money
- 39:49Speaker 1: for that, right, ice cream and sprinkles. If I recall
- 39:54Speaker 1: red sprinkles, I will have to be and save my
- 39:59Speaker 1: last one for later on because I'm gonna do this
- 40:02Speaker 1: one this year myself. Oh yeah, and it's not a
- 40:06Speaker 1: bit costly move either. It's whatever you're gonna spend if
- 40:09Speaker 1: you do it this way. So I got to rethink it.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Give me a budget. What we're talking about money, Junior,
- 40:15Speaker 1: He's still I'm whatever you want. You tell me the
- 40:18Speaker 1: budget you're working with. That's what I'm gonna get you in.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I listen to five today. Let's do five five hundred dollars. Yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 1: for one night, for one night night. Let me explain,
- 40:31Speaker 1: she's special, nice amount of money. Yeah, that you though,
- 40:37Speaker 1: don't forget the room. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Okay,
- 40:40Speaker 1: this is not room money. This is something just for her.
- 40:46Speaker 1: We're just doing something just for her. Does that It's okay?
- 40:50Speaker 1: I know, but we're not talking to him. We're talking
- 40:52Speaker 1: to Junior. Here's a deal. Here's here's a deal. Dallas
- 40:58Speaker 1: Shoe Warehouse. Oh okay, you've got five hundred dollars or
- 41:04Speaker 1: one hundred and one hundred and fifty you can buy
- 41:07Speaker 1: banging pair of shoes in that? Am I right? Ladies?
- 41:13Speaker 1: D D Could you think it is DFW? You think
- 41:19Speaker 1: it's always started to Dallas Shoe wear a house? Well,
- 41:26Speaker 1: I've never been. Now I'm just trying to play the game, okay,
- 41:32Speaker 1: because they do have designer shoes in that, correct, Yes,

- 53:45Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got it for you
- 53:48Speaker 1: here as thank you, nephew. Subject, He's our type of man,
- 53:54Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I have been dating my boyfriend for
- 53:57Speaker 1: the past four months, and I thought things were getting
- 54:00Speaker 1: serious with us, so I told my brother about him.
- 54:03Speaker 1: My brother and I are close in age and he
- 54:06Speaker 1: always gives great advice on my relationships. My brother wanted
- 54:10Speaker 1: to see my new boyfriend, so I gave him my
- 54:13Speaker 1: phone and let him swipe to see a few of
- 54:16Speaker 1: my boyfriend's most recent pictures. My brother yelled, oh my goodness,
- 54:21Speaker 1: and I just laughed because my brother and I like
- 54:24Speaker 1: the same type of guys, chocolate, muscular and bald headed.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I asked him if my boyfriend was his type, and
- 54:32Speaker 1: he said not only was he his type, they had
- 54:36Speaker 1: been out on a few dates. I asked him to
- 54:39Speaker 1: explain himself. My brother told me that he met my
- 54:42Speaker 1: boyfriend a few weeks ago and they went on three
- 54:46Speaker 1: dates before he told my brother that he was married.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I was beyond mad, hurt and embarrassed for not knowing
- 54:55Speaker 1: this guy was married. He never told me he was married.
- 54:58Speaker 1: My brother was equal mad because the guy had tried
- 55:01Speaker 1: to play me for a fool. So my brother devised
- 55:04Speaker 1: a plan to tell my boyfriend's wife about us. He
- 55:08Speaker 1: felt like she needs to know, and I agreed at first.
- 55:12Speaker 1: My brother suggested that we rent a billboard and put
- 55:15Speaker 1: the guy's picture on it so the whole city will
- 55:19Speaker 1: know that he's a big liar and a cheater. My
- 55:23Speaker 1: brother suggested that we wait till this weekend to do
- 55:26Speaker 1: it so more people would see it. Now, as time
- 55:29Speaker 1: goes by, I'm not as mad as I was, and
- 55:32Speaker 1: I've totally cut the guy out of my life, but
- 55:35Speaker 1: my brother will not let it go. I know the
- 55:38Speaker 1: billboard may not be the best plan, but we need
- 55:41Speaker 1: to expose this guy in some kind of way. Maybe
- 55:44Speaker 1: we should just tell his wife instead of telling the
- 55:47Speaker 1: whole city. Stephen Shirley, how do you think we should
- 55:50Speaker 1: handle this? What? Say? What? Now? WHOA just looked at
- 56:06Speaker 1: each other? Oh my god, you know what? Seriously, though,
- 56:16Speaker 1: the only thing I can think of right now is
- 56:20Speaker 1: just why would you want to hurt the wife like this,
- 56:22Speaker 1: because she is the one that's really going to be
- 56:25Speaker 1: hurt behind this, and I mean seriously hurt. Billboard's just
- 56:29Speaker 1: coming out and telling her, however you do it, this
- 56:32Speaker 1: wife is going to be hurt. Now. Do I think
- 56:33Speaker 1: she needs to know what's going on? Absolutely that she
- 56:37Speaker 1: needs to know that her husband is out here whild
- 56:39Speaker 1: in these streets. She needs to know that. I mean, yeah,
- 56:43Speaker 1: your brother is Matt. He's vindictive because the man is
- 56:46Speaker 1: trying to date both of you guys. But you did
- 56:49Speaker 1: say that you've gotten over it and you've totally cut
- 56:52Speaker 1: him out of your life, So that's a good thing.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think the wife should know too.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Know whether you and your brother should do it the
- 57:01Speaker 1: way you're saying doing it putting it out on a billboard,
- 57:06Speaker 1: I think that's horrible. I don't think she should find
- 57:08Speaker 1: out like that, not only she finding out, but the
- 57:11Speaker 1: whole city. No, just because you know you guys are mad. No,
- 57:15Speaker 1: I don't think you should do the wife like that.
- 57:17Speaker 1: But what do I think you should do? How do
- 57:21Speaker 1: I think you should handle this? I really honestly don't know.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I mean, you've done the best thing so far, and
- 57:29Speaker 1: that's to get him completely out of your life. And
- 57:32Speaker 1: you know, let it go. Your brother doesn't seem to
- 57:36Speaker 1: let it go. You're gonna have to talk him out
- 57:38Speaker 1: of doing what he wants to do, you know, because
- 57:41Speaker 1: you've got to consider the wife. I mean, the husband
- 57:43Speaker 1: isn't considering the wife, but I think in this situation,
- 57:47Speaker 1: someone has to. I don't know exactly how you should
- 57:50Speaker 1: handle this. I mean, I'm just being honest. I don't know.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Maybe Steve has a suggestion for you. I'm going to
- 57:58Speaker 1: pass this over to Steve, because I really I don't know, Uh,
- 58:02Speaker 1: Steve exactly. Tommy is dead. No, No, that's gonna crush
- 58:10Speaker 1: it's gonna his wife. That's gonna crush her. She can't
- 58:13Speaker 1: find out that way, Steve. Um, Really, I've been dating
- 58:22Speaker 1: my boyfriend for four months, and you kind of thought
- 58:27Speaker 1: stuff was getting serious with you, so you wouldn't tell
- 58:31Speaker 1: your brother. Now your brother now y'all close in age,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and he gotta go out of good advice from him,
- 58:37Speaker 1: and he wanted to see your new boyfriends, so well
- 58:41Speaker 1: you you gave him your phone. He let him swipe
- 58:45Speaker 1: to see your fear your boyfriend's pictures. Then your brother. Yes,
- 58:50Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, that right there was a telltale sign
- 58:59Speaker 1: that this letter was about to take a turn. Yeah,
- 59:03Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. I just laugh because he's so crazy.
- 59:08Speaker 1: You know, we like the same type of guys. It's
- 59:10Speaker 1: just going through this letter like this, just regular, Okay,
- 59:14Speaker 1: I go along with you. Y'all like the same type
- 59:17Speaker 1: of guys. Chocolate, musculine, ball hit it. Well, that ain't me,
- 59:22Speaker 1: so hell, I'm cool. I asked him if my boyfriend
- 59:27Speaker 1: was his type. He said, not only was he his type.
- 59:29Speaker 1: They've been out on a few dates. You said, explain yourself, y'all.
- 59:34Speaker 1: He ain't got to explained himself. You know your brother,
- 59:40Speaker 1: y'all like the same type. He said. You've been out
- 59:43Speaker 1: on the date for a few times. You need to
- 59:45Speaker 1: explain yourself, explain what we all know. Now there's bloo
- 59:52Speaker 1: to explain, and I come back. I'll tell you what
- 59:56Speaker 1: I think happened. You. I know, I'm just clearing myself
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: because it said ball headed it muskin. We'll have parts
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: response coming out. Fat that's twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Today's subject. Wow, he's our type of man. We'll be
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening all right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letters subject he's our type of man. Yeah. Well,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: this lady got this boyfriend she'd been with faux months
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: and I was telling her brother about it. They liked
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the same types of dude, so she gave his phone
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, his brother yea, like,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: oh my goodness, and right there it was on it cracking.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I laughed because my brother and I liked the same
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: type of guys, chocolate, muskel and ball hited. I asked him,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: your brother if your boyfriend. You asked your brother if
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: your boyfriend was his type. He said, not only was
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: his type, he had been out on a few days.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I asked him to explain himself what you and your
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: brother like the same type of men. Your brother been
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: out on the date with this dude three times. What
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: explanation do you need? My brother told me that he
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: met your boyfriend three weeks ago. Y'all been dating foe
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: most and they have been out on three dates. Three dates. Now,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: your brother, I don't know how he is, but this
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: dude that you dating, he fast. So I'm assuming something
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: popped off in one of these dates because he went
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: on and told his brother he married. I was beyond
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: mad and hurting and best for not knowing this guy
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: was mad. Boy, that's what you're mad about. That's winning
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the whole up. That's you read. You wrote all this
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: hill and you got to I was beyond mad, hurt
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: and in best for not knowing this guy was married.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: He never told me he was mad. What thing? He
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: left something else out? You think marriage is shocking? He
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: with your damn brother. He never told me he was married.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: My brother was equally mad. Oh not both, y'all man,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: everybody man that the big chocolate muscle bound ball head dude,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: oh he man, because the guy tried to play me
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: for a food. Well that's a good brother, you got that.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: So your brother devised a play to tell your boy
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: friend's wife about it. He felt like she needs to know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: and I agreed at first. Then your brother said that
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: we rent a billboard and put the guys picture on
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: it so the whole city would know he's a big
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: lie and a cheater. Lord Jesus, not the billboard, Father God,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: not the billboard. You don't know what's happening in this
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: man life. His wife can't find out on the billboard,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: and he might have they're driving down the street, Mama,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: that go daddy, Shut up, baby, your daddy at work.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: He up down up, well, he up down on that
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: picture on that thing. What thing boy on that wall
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: off the freeway? What thing right down? Mamma. They daddy
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: on a billboard, her husband on the billboard, and y'all
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: going right on that. He's a liar and a cheetah.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: He was dating a girl and a man. Okay, now
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: listen to me. He deserves some things to happen to him.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I've got it. I think two of y'all funding out
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: is a lot that's gonna bust you. But to put
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it on the billboard, you're now going to affect his money,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: all his friends, his social life, which is a lot anyway.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Maybe he don he is very, very busy. I'm really
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: not in favor of his social life at all. Not
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: his preference choices. He can do what he want to do.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be bisexual, at least tell people
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: so they're know what they dealing with. Don't nobody want
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that damn surprise? You know you can have anything, you won't,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: but be honest and forthright with people. Look this is
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: my lifestyle. I'm bisexual. You tell most people that let
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: him deal with it, but you at least you want to,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Mike want to mention you got a wife on top
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: of all this. Now, they are people who would deal
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: with all this you got because obviously it did not
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: bother her your lifestyle. She was just tripping because you're married.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: So you probably could have told her that and let
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: her work through that. But her damn brother though, y'all.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Just where y'all going out? Now, y'all, that triangle is thick.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: So do you think we should have I don't think
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you should do the billboard. I do not think you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: should do the billboard. If y'all want to tell a
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: dude's wife just to get back at him, because he
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: is your brother and he trying to protect you. He's
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: strong with it because he tried to make a fool
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: like the girl knowing his lifestyle is a little bit
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: more than anybody would make up for. And the part
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you heard about as the wife. So okay, if y'all
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: gonna call his wife, I would leave it go and
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: just know that you know justice a prevail and take
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: care of herself. I would leave at all. Go and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: do his wife need to know? Probably, but y'all ain't
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: got to tell her. She gonna find out I got
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: news for you. She might know. Most women are incredibly smart. Wow.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: And I know some women who've had to struggle and
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: find out that news and they always kind of new
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: and felt something. Women are very smart, They're very intuitive.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: So she probably already know. She could be in denial
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: or something like that. But I don't think y'all might
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: not be telling the nunshow. You know, she might not
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: know about you, and she might not know about him.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: But I bet that wife knows something. She knows he's
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a cheeter. Yes, doesn't know that. You just don't know
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: how many people exactly, All right? Post your comments on
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Steve Now coming up at forty six minutes after the
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: hour and trending political news. We'll talk more about the
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Democratic candidates and the New Hampshire primary right after this.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: You're listening and trending political news. Democratic presidential candidates are
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: trying to separate themselves from the pack after yesterday's primary
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: in New Hampshire. Along the way, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: defended his Medicare for All plan fromer VP Joe By
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and acknowledge that he knew he might take a hit
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: in New Hampshire's primary, but he's in the race for
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the long haul. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren said the federal
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: government works great for people at the top, but not
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: so much for average people, hard working Americans. Former South Bend,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Indiana mayor Pete Buddha Judge defended his experience and whether
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: that qualifies him to be president, and says his life experience,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: including military service in Afghanistan, qualifies him. And he did
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: well at the polls. All right, yes he did. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: So it's narrowing down. I mean, we know Andrew Yang
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: got out, No Yang, Bennett got out. So Bennett huh say,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: oh hurt? Yeah, yeah, hopefully Joe Biden can pick up
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: some steams. You know, I'm gonna tell you, man, he's
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: to do something. This is this is not how you
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: want to start. He was not expecting that to happen.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: In Iowa. They talk about they weren't looking forward and
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: all of them look for that in Iowa, you know,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: not New Hampshire. The kickoff, but for this Lady Amy
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: to take third and Lizabeth w Chake fourth. People like, hey, man,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: come on, Biden, you gotta be a little bit more
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: popular than that. I'm i'm i'm I'm so disappointed in
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: a Democratic party though they spending too much time tearing
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: each other down to leave a war. Gave this wonderful
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: speech after she came in fourth, talking about we can't
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: do this to one another, We've got to stick together
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: where I'm okay, you're not gonna be president either, but
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: she was correct. Yeah, Trump is the target, not She's
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: just trying to She just trying to get on somebody's
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: tick it now, Yeah, definite, sound like up. That's a
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: VP speech coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Today's office topic, what's something that you and your significant
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: other can't do together without arguing? Oh? I know, Steve,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear yours. Tommy, I can't wait. Wait,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I'll go to mess up Valentine. Man, I'm all right,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: we'll do that coming up at the top of the hour. Okay,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to morning show, all right,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: So what's something you and your significant other can't do
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: without getting into an argument? Steve Here's an email from Jermaine,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: who's a loyal listener from Dallas. Uh. It says, Dear Steve,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: there are many things my wife and I love to
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: do together, but one thing we cannot do together is
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: to go grocery shopping. When I go to the store,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I like to run in and out as fast as
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I can. When my wife goes grocery shopping, she likes
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: to look and touch every item in the store, and
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: it just leads us to arguing. So, hey, morning crew,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: most of you all are married. I'm curious what do
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you guys in your spouse is avoid doing together because
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: it always leads to an argument. Um, So again, Steve.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: That was from Jermaine and Dallas. And we're gonna first. Yeah,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: we start, I hope, I hope it's long enough that
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: we go to the break. Come on, we start. Yeah,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Me and Margie, we can't sit out and watch no
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: damn sporting ethan Oh not now one. Oh, we're not
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: fitting the argue about who are to win or nothing
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: like that. She don't know a damn thing about no sports.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: She don't know none of the rules. I want to
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: sit down and ask questions the whole damn time. I
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: can't why you holed because they scored? What did they
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: score a touchdown? How many points is that six? Why
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: they got seven because they kicked the extra point? Why
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: they kicked a point because they got a touchdown? Why
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: they only got three because they kicked the field goal.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: How come they ain't get a touchdown because they didn't
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: score a touchdown? Who you hauling that, Steve? Okay, baby,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I was in here watching again. Oh so you don't
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: want me to watch the game with you? I said this,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I thought I said it under my bro That's what
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I thought. I said. She heard that because she got
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: mother hearing. All right, I'll tell you what mine is.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: But it's indirectly related to cooking, like when we go out.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Like when we go out, like for instance, Sturday went
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: out to my friends. They had they had a party,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: my girlfriend celebrated her birthday. Whenever we go out to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a party to someone's house, Nesto piles his plate when
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: he gets to the Yeah, why do you think he
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: wouldn't right? Embarrassing? But it's embarrassing to me. And he
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: goes back for a seconds and my girlfriends are like, oh, Nesto,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: go ahead. Their husband's man, Come on it what you
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: want all the time? That embarrasses me. So in the
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: car it is an argument. It is an argument on
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: the way home. And then he gonna bring home a plate.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Come on, boy, somebody got to keep your weight up. Hey, Shirley,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: it's on the back seat and it don't even move
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: it's so heavy. Exactly stick were you there? Exactly? This
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: is every time we go to a party. So you
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: just that damn hungry. You're gonna eat that much food? Baby,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I'm just at the party. Everybody else's eat. You ain't
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: got to eat that much damn food. Now, just shame
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: all in here, all the food falling off your plate
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: while you walk it. Yeah, and then everybody in the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: party come on nuts. So it's okay, and so can
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: get you some food? Come eat? I'm then you sitting
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: up that eating and crime? Why does you crimba? You
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: got some neat? Yeah? What is teen? Is coming down
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: your face fall because it's the moment. He's the Lord.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I don't need everybody's all around him. Be sick yourself.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Oh man, all right, so that's mine. Anyway, at the
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: time a dog make a plate gold, take it to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: the house. They become surely on the radio all the time?
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Or make plate? Dog, I'm already in the car. Take
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the pot, nest Off. We good. You can bring him
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: back later. Well time me. You got out of it, dog.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Coming up more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this. You're listening to show. This
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: is something um. This segment is called what's something you
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and your significant other can't do together without getting into
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: an argument? Steve said he and Marjorie can't watch a
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: sporting event, can't watch a game without them getting into
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: an argument. I told your mind before we went to
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: the break, we can't go out without Nesto piling his
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: plate up to the sky, embarrassing me in front of everybody.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: That's an argument. On the way home in the car,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: what's your what's your? Is? Carla? Every time we do
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: a Tasha and I do like a you know, go
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: to a school function together and it's just too long
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: for him. He can't handle it. He starts mumbling under
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: his breath, like last night we went to a school
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: function and a teacher for the bay. They were talking
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: about preparing for seventh grade and classes. And this man
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: raised his hand and said he wanted to ask a
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: question about Spanish, and Tasha just sitting there. We're grade?
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Did she? Then another lady raised her hand up about
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: GT Math class. You know your baby ain't smart, Your
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: baby shouldn't be in GT. This gotta stuff. He's mumbling yes, no,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: When did we get in the car? Said stop doing that.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Stop making me be the one that just pay attention
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: all the time. He said, I told you I ain't
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: want to go. I'm rider. He made him go cry, yes,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: look at the time. Okay, we'll go to get all right.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Show at thirty three minutes after the hour, right after
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: this you're listening show. Well. In today's entertainment news, a
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: grand jury returned to six felony count indictment accusing actor
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Jesse Smalleett of lying to Chicago police when he reported
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: a racist and homophobic attack last year. Special prosecutor announced Tuesday.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Special Prosecutor Webb said Jesse planned and participated in a
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: stage hate crime attack and made numerous false statements to
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Chicago police officers. Um Oh boy, Jesse will be arraigned
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: on February twenty fourth. If convicted, he faces up to
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: three years in state prison. That's darn serious. Lying to
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: police officers yet came back to police officers three years. Yeah,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: the president lied to the whole country. Yeah, every day
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: license right about Nah, Man, I think that's a bit personal.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I think it sounds personal. I really think man, that
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: first of all, I got the day upset because he
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: cost the city some money, and then they did all.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I get that. I get. I think probation and a
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: fine would be adequate for that, you know, I mean
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: that punishment would fit the crime. Yeah, you know, have
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: him payback restitution any money to the city if that's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: what you want to do. But jail time. Wow, And
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: he maintained his innocence throughout this whole the heat, won't
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: we can get off that? Yeah? Yeah, we're gonna coquit wena.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: That's what we've know. Little role was walking into that
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: courtroom you saw all. Yeah, how did I get jumped
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: on damn their choke bleach and beat and managed to
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: locate my sandwich and pick it up and go back
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: home with this damn subway set. I forget with the
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: new steel around my neck, bro, And you know you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: know how much lunch meat would be all over that ground?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: And not only that? Why what was that for? I
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: have something to do with the show. He wanted more
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: money or something, wasn't it How you get to get
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: your ass? Yeah? You can't get them more money to
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: be relevant, to be more popular. Do you know how
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: much money I would have if I could get money
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: for your ass from not in twos right now? Because
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: my father and mama old me to the tunes of
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: hundreds of nel get we getting paid? All right? Coming
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: up our last break of the day, and uh must
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: break up the day. That's right, Steve. And Tommy thinks
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: he got out of this. What do he and his
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: spouse argue about what he didn't Because we're gonna do it.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: His story right before closing remarks, coming up with forty
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour. We're gonna do it. We
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: want to do we all had to do it. The
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: people want to hear Tommy is for the people, for
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: the American people. We'll be back right after this. You're
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: listening to all right, Steve. Before we get to your
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: closing remarks on this last break of the day, We
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: got to get to Tommy and ask him, because we've
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: all told ours. We got to ask him what can't
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you and your spouse do without getting into an argument.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: This is the last break of the day. We've had
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: a good day. Hey, good day? Yeah, come on neew
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: so come on Tommy? What you guys? H Yeah? It real.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: We cannot make love without arguing. I don't understand why
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: we came without arguing? Man, what is it? Low down?
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: You slow down? Wait a minute, you wait a minute.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Look at me in my eye for what we are?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Why I want to look at you. I don't want
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: to look at you right now my eyes look at
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: me in my ass show some good bassio. Look like
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: you love me. I do love you, but you ain't
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: got to throw it at me like that. God, how
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: long are you're gonna be? How long are you're gonna be?
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: You ain't there. I've been there. I've been waiting on you.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: You look like you didn't got big. I know you didn't.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Just tell me I just got big fat man. When
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you was twenty two and you was twenty two you
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: used Are you serious right now? That was thirty years ago?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: And what I'm marriage anyway? The man, I like, looked
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: me in my eyes. What are you arguing? Yeah? I
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: got the man, But it's like, tell me you have
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: a chip on your shoulder. Though, it's like a solution
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: of that, Timmy. I I mean, if you're mad at somebody,
