- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Oh man, oh man? How many times I got to
- 2:15Speaker 1: say that before I get tired of it? M I
- 2:19Speaker 1: think it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be
- 2:21Speaker 1: real with you, because, boy, that Steve Harvey got a
- 2:24Speaker 1: radio show man. Clear indication of how God can do
- 2:30Speaker 1: some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he leads your
- 2:35Speaker 1: life in directions that you never ever saw coming. You know.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:41Speaker 1: were talking about how man, they were young and they
- 2:44Speaker 1: were doing things and they never knew that the things
- 2:47Speaker 1: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:51Speaker 1: and he helped form who they were today as an adult.
- 2:55Speaker 1: This guy's fifty years old, and uh, you know the
- 2:58Speaker 1: same thing for you. If you look back on your
- 3:01Speaker 1: life and all of the things that you've done, it
- 3:05Speaker 1: helps shape you into who you are now. This is
- 3:08Speaker 1: provided now that you take the positive approach. Now when
- 3:13Speaker 1: I say look back at your life and see what
- 3:15Speaker 1: you've done, that doesn't mean doll on the misfortunate moments.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: hard to see that when it's happening to you, But
- 3:25Speaker 1: the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really makes
- 3:30Speaker 1: you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really makes
- 3:36Speaker 1: you appreciate a walk on the beach, it's when it's
- 3:38Speaker 1: cold as raining outside. What really makes you appreciate when
- 3:44Speaker 1: you're up, it's because you've been down. See if you
- 3:48Speaker 1: are up all the time. Just the nature of us
- 3:51Speaker 1: as human beings, we would lose our appreciation for because
- 3:55Speaker 1: it becomes case surah, whatever it is, well, it is
- 3:58Speaker 1: what it is. I'm just what what what you take
- 4:01Speaker 1: it for granted? It becomes expected But what happens in
- 4:04Speaker 1: life's is it has so many twisting turns, and then
- 4:08Speaker 1: you learn how to deal with those twisting turns, which
- 4:11Speaker 1: makes you now a more experienced person. And then when
- 4:14Speaker 1: the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's really
- 4:16Speaker 1: nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm weather.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Just stay in a bunch of cold weather all the time.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm you know what I'm saying. I'm just this is
- 4:25Speaker 1: really really simple and no analogies, but it helps you
- 4:28Speaker 1: along the way. Now here's what I came to say
- 4:32Speaker 1: today to everybody out there. And this has helped me
- 4:35Speaker 1: in my life. I can't tell you what it's done
- 4:38Speaker 1: for me. But a lot of people are struggling with
- 4:43Speaker 1: moving forward with their future, their future plans, their future goals,
- 4:49Speaker 1: their future aspirations, their future hopes, their future dreams, just
- 4:55Speaker 1: simply your future wants. A lot of people trying to
- 4:59Speaker 1: have a hard time mapping out their future. Even what
- 5:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make,
- 5:06Speaker 1: how or go about it? What do I do next?
- 5:10Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that I had
- 5:12Speaker 1: to come to terms with the quickest way to lose
- 5:15Speaker 1: focus on your future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You know, it's like I said at the beginning. You
- 5:23Speaker 1: know when I say it's it's wonderful to look at
- 5:25Speaker 1: your life and review it, because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: it'll tell you, uh it. It really helps shape inform
- 5:33Speaker 1: you today as the person you are now if you
- 5:36Speaker 1: look at it in a positive sense. But if you
- 5:39Speaker 1: dwell in harp on the negative that's happened to you,
- 5:43Speaker 1: then that keeps you from seeing the good in the incident,
- 5:46Speaker 1: every bad thing that's happened to you, there was a
- 5:49Speaker 1: silver lining behind it. I know people who were on
- 5:53Speaker 1: drugs who finally, man just got sent to prison for
- 5:56Speaker 1: still in because of their habit. I know, Cat that's
- 5:59Speaker 1: so dope. Well he went to prison. He told me
- 6:02Speaker 1: one time. He said, Steve, it's a man. It's the
- 6:05Speaker 1: best thing ever happened to me to save my life. Now,
- 6:08Speaker 1: most people would think, how in the world is going
- 6:11Speaker 1: to prison helpful for you? The brother said, it saved
- 6:15Speaker 1: my life. First of all, it got me clean. He saw,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've been cleaned for five years from sitting in here.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That's for starters, Uncleaned. I ain't stilling no more. I
- 6:26Speaker 1: ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else.
- 6:29Speaker 1: He said. Now, man, I don't went to college. I
- 6:32Speaker 1: don't got a college degree while I met here. Then
- 6:36Speaker 1: he was released from prison, and the brother's life was
- 6:39Speaker 1: completely turned around. He married, he got a family, he
- 6:43Speaker 1: got a great job, He got to work every day.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He's a productive citizen. I mean. So he looks back
- 6:50Speaker 1: on his incarceration, even his drug abuse, and it taught
- 6:56Speaker 1: him how to appreciate the things in life that he
- 6:58Speaker 1: had taken for granted was missing, because he said, Man,
- 7:01Speaker 1: my life was just in a blur. I didn't even
- 7:04Speaker 1: know what was going on. He said, Now I appreciate
- 7:07Speaker 1: every day I wake up. That's what I mean. Even
- 7:10Speaker 1: in your missteps in life, there is a purpose for
- 7:14Speaker 1: the missteps. Every time you fail, there was a reason
- 7:18Speaker 1: for the failure. See what I had to do was
- 7:21Speaker 1: I had to learn that all of my failures taught
- 7:24Speaker 1: me how to get back up. So I became a
- 7:27Speaker 1: very strong and tough person in getting back up. And
- 7:31Speaker 1: then I was down and out so long that it
- 7:34Speaker 1: taught me how to really appreciate the up. And so
- 7:37Speaker 1: I've taken all of that and used it those experiences
- 7:41Speaker 1: that happened to me, and I became a more experienced person.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So next time when people talk about me who don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: know me, it don't shake me because everybody not gonna
- 7:52Speaker 1: like you. Man, you might as well gonna get on
- 7:54Speaker 1: this train right now. And so what I'm saying to
- 7:57Speaker 1: you out there is the quickest way to look who's
- 8:00Speaker 1: focused on your future is to keep focusing on your path.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Let it go, man, go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you got through it, You're beyond it. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 1: he left. But like I told this lady on my
- 8:14Speaker 1: TV show the other day, sometimes the breakup is the blessing.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I know it's hard to break up because now you're
- 8:20Speaker 1: loaning you by yourself. But man, but when you in misery,
- 8:23Speaker 1: when you was in that, weren't you in complete misery
- 8:27Speaker 1: in that Now you kept asking God to fix it.
- 8:30Speaker 1: But it takes two people to fix a relationship. It
- 8:33Speaker 1: don't just take one. It takes two to make a
- 8:36Speaker 1: thing go right. It takes two to make it out
- 8:39Speaker 1: of sight. Say you know that's that's that's a song.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But man, that's so true. You really do have to
- 8:46Speaker 1: have two people wanting a relationship to work. It can't
- 8:49Speaker 1: just be one person, one relationship. So you can pray
- 8:52Speaker 1: about the relationship all you want. If the other person
- 8:55Speaker 1: don't want you no more and ain't gonna act right,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you can't make him do that or you can't make
- 9:00Speaker 1: her do that. So man, the relationship to break up.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Sometimes it's a blessing. It's over. Let it go go forward.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Quit looking at how much time you wasted. Man, that's
- 9:12Speaker 1: that kills people from getting the next if you're constantly
- 9:16Speaker 1: dwelling on how much time I gave him and how
- 9:19Speaker 1: much time I gave her, and now here I am
- 9:22Speaker 1: lost it alone. Oh, you ain't wasting no time. Some
- 9:25Speaker 1: of the times was good, a lot of them was bad.
- 9:29Speaker 1: So what you're gonna do now? You you ain't gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: have no future because you're gonna keep focusing on your past.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Are you serious? So now you're asking God to give
- 9:40Speaker 1: you another relationship when you don't even have enough sense
- 9:44Speaker 1: to appreciate the fact that you are now available for
- 9:48Speaker 1: another relationship. But you steady asking God for a new relationship.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But you are yet to be grateful that you are
- 9:58Speaker 1: in a position to have a relationship, and you keep
- 10:01Speaker 1: harping on the past. You don't think you hear that.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm just a dude with a show and I hear
- 10:06Speaker 1: it all the time. Let it go go forward. It's over.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You made it, He bought you through it, you conquered,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and
- 10:19Speaker 1: making it the cross around your neck when clearly he
- 10:23Speaker 1: had removed it for you. Now, all you got to
- 10:26Speaker 1: do is come on. So if you're sitting behind him walls,
- 10:29Speaker 1: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man,
- 10:33Speaker 1: you just got to get it right. All this repeat
- 10:36Speaker 1: of fitting the business that's for? Who is that for?
- 10:38Speaker 1: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 10:42Speaker 1: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 10:46Speaker 1: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 10:48Speaker 1: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 10:51Speaker 1: a job? Are you serious? Man? Put some faith on it.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go. Let's move you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to ladies and gentlemen, we are here. Welcome to
- 11:07Speaker 1: the rock on this Tuesday. My ain't it amazing? Let
- 11:12Speaker 1: me ask Charlotte question we get started. You got somebody
- 11:17Speaker 1: in your life, maybe somebody you work with that won't
- 11:22Speaker 1: it they way and not your way. And they all
- 11:27Speaker 1: got to go together anyway. But if they don't need
- 11:31Speaker 1: to day now they made you work with somebody like that.
- 11:34Speaker 1: No more that I'm free from that idea. I have
- 11:44Speaker 1: been released from that. God has delivered me. They won't.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I don't know why Willy won't follow. I never understood will. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: but yes, not anymore. I'm good. I'm happy to be
- 12:02Speaker 1: where I'm at. That's not shade. It's like I can't
- 12:05Speaker 1: say nothing without being considered. That's I'm just saying, you
- 12:11Speaker 1: got right to be happy, ja right to be happy.
- 12:15Speaker 1: He don't want you happy. I didn't I see now
- 12:17Speaker 1: that would be shade. Shad promise you he don't want you,
- 12:25Speaker 1: don't want me happy. So I ain't never seen nobody
- 12:30Speaker 1: that don't do not understand how this works. Man, that
- 12:35Speaker 1: what God has for you, he has for you. It's
- 12:38Speaker 1: for you. You're trying to stop what somebody else got,
- 12:42Speaker 1: thinking you're gonna have more. You're still gonna have what
- 12:44Speaker 1: you got, but he got plenty. But doc, but here
- 12:48Speaker 1: you know what she listened? Can I sum it up
- 12:51Speaker 1: for you? And this is what I want to tell
- 12:53Speaker 1: young people all the time about hate. Hate. Hate is
- 12:58Speaker 1: created because people think life is a game that if
- 13:03Speaker 1: I win, you lose, and if you lose, I win. Thus,
- 13:11Speaker 1: people who look at life that way, they on the
- 13:14Speaker 1: end of that typing funky stuff about you that ain't true,
- 13:17Speaker 1: thinking that's gonna knock you down, And they and and
- 13:19Speaker 1: and now they're bigger. Life is not a game. Life
- 13:24Speaker 1: is a contest. You just gotta get into category and
- 13:27Speaker 1: get your own blue ribbon. But if you go to
- 13:30Speaker 1: the county Fair, they give our molding one blue ribbon. Ye,
- 13:33Speaker 1: this ain't the super Bowl. This the County Fair. You
- 13:36Speaker 1: can get in there for best pig. You can win it,
- 13:39Speaker 1: for best sup best pickle beats dog, you can win
- 13:43Speaker 1: that thing. For best dog. You can get in that
- 13:48Speaker 1: fast chicken. You can get there for larger watermelon dog.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Life is a contest. It ain't a game. Just get
- 13:58Speaker 1: in your category, get your ass a blue ribbon, and
- 14:01Speaker 1: going about your business. Me winning ain't got nothing to
- 14:05Speaker 1: do with you losing. And you're losing. It ain't got
- 14:07Speaker 1: nothing to do with me winning. So stop. That depends
- 14:10Speaker 1: on that. We're talking with the radio show. Yeah, we
- 14:13Speaker 1: win it, we win it how you look at trying.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It's a contest. I didn't say you get your blue ribbon.
- 14:25Speaker 1: You're over there, you winning, You winning in the little group.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You win. All right, we gotta stop this right here.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Coming up next Junior's Truth Be Tell and Steve is here.
- 14:36Speaker 1: So it's in time for another edition of Ask the CEO. No,

- 18:26Speaker 1: you know how expensive it is to travel to here? Yeah?
- 18:30Speaker 1: I know? That's why I know it's coming off these checks.
- 18:34Speaker 1: You're gonna garnish your way just like nothing. I'm gonna

- 19:01Speaker 1: But if you could dig deep down inside of you

- 19:26Speaker 1: will you be sponsoring any of that? How much your sponsorship?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Four thousand? For what you're gonna get your name everywhere?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Title sponsor? Oh, four thousand dollars. I would like to
- 19:39Speaker 1: participate in that. I would like to. I would like
- 19:43Speaker 1: I would like to. I would like to. I would
- 19:45Speaker 1: like to. I'm just gonna see, I'm not gonna do it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I would just like to let him know where my heart. No,
- 19:53Speaker 1: don't let him know that my heart is in us.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I would like to whole thousand dollars and the title
- 20:00Speaker 1: sponsorship yes, is it the title? He's saying, yes, your
- 20:07Speaker 1: name will be everywhere. I don't put your name anyway.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh oh, wait a minute, I just put some pressure on,
- 20:17Speaker 1: that's all. Yeah. Can I have my damn question back?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Because I wasted because I knew that. I don't know. No,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna be at the Hot Booty Club this weekend,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and sponsorship ain't nowhere near. It's not gonna get a
- 20:37Speaker 1: handful of hundreds. We're good now. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 20:44Speaker 1: cash these ones in the singles, so your money gonna
- 20:47Speaker 1: go a long way. All right. We're not gonna just
- 20:49Speaker 1: throw hundreds out there. We're gonna break it down into one.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm still tripping. Oh just sponsorship, Well, you gotta be sick. Sure, No, CEO,
- 21:04Speaker 1: will you be running? Hell? I got new so I
- 21:10Speaker 1: ain't even gonna be there. He just said my name

- 21:22Speaker 1: fatal whatever, daddy whatever. You've been that a few times.

- 21:43Speaker 1: in here, go ahead calling. Okay, we'll CEEO. We're getting ready.
- 21:47Speaker 1: August is here, Come on now, holidays. Can we talk
- 21:51Speaker 1: about the fall schedule and planning? Can we budget for
- 21:53Speaker 1: that fall planning budget? Yeah, you're dismissing giving ship. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you can plan all you wrong. Your damn dates are set.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening to all right? Coming up at

- 24:23Speaker 1: How are you giving you a call today? Ma'a? I'm
- 24:25Speaker 1: trying to get some updates from you. Your husband, Mr?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Is he uh still not working at this point? Okay?
- 24:34Speaker 1: How long has he been out of work so far? Ma'am?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Could you could you give me an update on this? Okay?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Al right, here's what we're having the problems that we're having.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You have a son, um I think it's his name
- 24:48Speaker 1: is as well, fourteen years old? Am I right? Okay?
- 24:51Speaker 1: The child support is not being paid from Mr for
- 24:57Speaker 1: the for Mr. Young and then we're trying to get
- 25:00Speaker 1: this thing rectified. Now, the problem that we're gonna have,
- 25:02Speaker 1: the reason why we're giving you a call is considering
- 25:05Speaker 1: that your your husband hasn't worked since the first of
- 25:07Speaker 1: the year, and I haven't done the research yet. I'm
- 25:10Speaker 1: just I'm just now pulling up your file. I haven't
- 25:12Speaker 1: done the research. And see how many months in the
- 25:14Speaker 1: rears he is on child support. It just started once, Um,
- 25:19Speaker 1: he lost his job. Okay, Well, the problem that we're
- 25:23Speaker 1: going to have is they're gonna start taking uh child
- 25:27Speaker 1: support actually, and I hate to give you this news
- 25:30Speaker 1: out of your check until I don't understand how that self,
- 25:34Speaker 1: because I have my own kids. I understand, but they're
- 25:37Speaker 1: gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am until this until your
- 25:40Speaker 1: husband can get this thing back on its feet and
- 25:42Speaker 1: get it rectified and get him up to parts for
- 25:45Speaker 1: of all the payments that are hurt place. Because if
- 25:48Speaker 1: that's the case, I'm not gonna be working because that's
- 25:51Speaker 1: not gonna happen. I have my own children, so I
- 25:54Speaker 1: don't understand how that's. So I don't don't have anything
- 25:57Speaker 1: to do with child for it or anything like that.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
- 26:01Speaker 1: as right now. The garnishing of the check is gonna
- 26:03Speaker 1: come from you and you are at the hospital. Correct, No,
- 26:06Speaker 1: that's not it's not where you work. I don't. I'm
- 26:09Speaker 1: not gonna be working as of right now. That's what
- 26:11Speaker 1: I just teld you. So y'all do whatever you have
- 26:13Speaker 1: to do, and I'll do whatever I have to do
- 26:15Speaker 1: on my inn. Okay, Well, hold on it. You're willing
- 26:17Speaker 1: to quit your job, I'm not understanding this. If you're sure,
- 26:20Speaker 1: why Because I'm not going to be taking care of
- 26:22Speaker 1: someone else's kids and I have my own, So how
- 26:24Speaker 1: that's right? So somebody else can take care of mines
- 26:27Speaker 1: then because I'm not going to be doing it, you're
- 26:29Speaker 1: so right? All right? Well, I mean I'm just say
- 26:31Speaker 1: you know, don't I don't want you to be upset
- 26:32Speaker 1: with you. I don't want you to be upset with me.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I can be able to contact you, Okay, you know,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna let you know. There's just a
- 26:39Speaker 1: bit of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting your job, man,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you guys are still gonna be liable for the child's support. Okay,
- 26:47Speaker 1: well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not my children. Say, okay,
- 26:51Speaker 1: it's not your guys. He will be livable. Okay, because
- 26:56Speaker 1: I don't. I mean, can I stept you hold my
- 26:58Speaker 1: moment because I need to temp out side, that's okay,
- 27:01Speaker 1: or there's a number I can contact you back. Okay.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Are you able to step outside right now? Um? Yes,
- 27:06Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's kind
- 27:08Speaker 1: of kind of ok let's do this. Why don't you
- 27:11Speaker 1: step outside and I'll wait for you to call give
- 27:14Speaker 1: me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give a
- 27:16Speaker 1: call on my manager on this situation. Okay, please all right,
- 27:20Speaker 1: thank you? Hello? Okay, Mr Hi again for the District
- 27:28Speaker 1: Attorney's office. Okay, you can hear me now, yes, I can.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am, I sure can. Now,
- 27:32Speaker 1: let's get to the bottom of everything. I couldn't get
- 27:34Speaker 1: my manager on the phone, but I'll keep trying. I
- 27:38Speaker 1: just want to know. I mean, that's I'm just to
- 27:41Speaker 1: mention your letting. I know you are and I hate
- 27:44Speaker 1: to be so short with you, but I don't understand
- 27:47Speaker 1: because we're not even getting enough in come coming in
- 27:49Speaker 1: as of right now. And you're speaking of I have
- 27:52Speaker 1: three children that I'm struggling to take care of our
- 27:54Speaker 1: my owner district. But and you're speaking of that, you're
- 28:01Speaker 1: going to be deducted money from gonna share my check
- 28:04Speaker 1: for his child's birth. What's your certain something? What's your name? Man?
- 28:09Speaker 1: Who is there someone else I need to speak with? No,
- 28:12Speaker 1: we're on the phone. I have. That's my sister taking
- 28:14Speaker 1: care of me. We're part of the district attorney county. Ma'am. Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: she gone from office the child support service. She works
- 28:26Speaker 1: with the child support Okay, man, I speak with you.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Let me speak with your sister. Man, So where do
- 28:32Speaker 1: you I mean, how is this going to be done?
- 28:34Speaker 1: Because that's not gonna leave me the cast to be
- 28:36Speaker 1: able to support my own kids, I mean in my
- 28:39Speaker 1: own home. I understand that. You know, maybe this is
- 28:42Speaker 1: a problem with having a person hanging around a person
- 28:46Speaker 1: because has raised the sea about his kids all their life.
- 28:49Speaker 1: This is a jealous mother that decided to off them
- 28:52Speaker 1: eighteen years that she wanted to who around one because
- 29:01Speaker 1: that's what that's our quart. What what in the hell
- 29:05Speaker 1: is going on with those people in the background this nephew.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Times he didn't hit the fan. No, I couldn't get
- 29:15Speaker 1: to go out with her. Sister was there. Don't say
- 29:17Speaker 1: nothing to him. Made to get off the phones. I
- 29:19Speaker 1: need you to call on three ways. They was calling.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Somebody probably calling downtown, gonna get theirself in motrouble. Okay,
- 29:28Speaker 1: what's wrong? I called you back? I say about it
- 29:31Speaker 1: now you want You're gonna talk to her right now?
- 29:35Speaker 1: And I told you're gonna pay this child support, not
- 29:37Speaker 1: me get the best way. You can't me called me.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay this, so you're gonna make me. You
- 29:45Speaker 1: gotta make me whip your behind this money. You will
- 29:48Speaker 1: find out who he is. You want to You want
- 29:50Speaker 1: to tell it to my lad? Yeah? I want to.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Where is your You don't have a lawyer? You know
- 29:55Speaker 1: well you don't have one because I know I don't.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Who happened? However, you got my novel? They have to
- 30:03Speaker 1: for your job. We have to go. Who is this nephew?
- 30:10Speaker 1: Timing from Steve Harvey morning, Yo, Yo, just gotta drank
- 30:14Speaker 1: Bob Baby, gonna pay for this. You don't call the
- 30:36Speaker 1: food is well? You just give me a black mouth?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Get outside because all out I gotta ask. I gotta
- 30:49Speaker 1: ask all y'all something. What is the baddest radio show
- 30:52Speaker 1: in the land? Clad, Yes, you're listening to the Steve.
- 31:04Speaker 1: The state of California has a weed surplus. Anybody's surprise,
- 31:09Speaker 1: anyone surprise they have a surplus. They have a surplus. Yeah, yeah, right.
- 31:17Speaker 1: According to the Los Angeles Times, Kelly has way too
- 31:21Speaker 1: much weed. And believe it or not, it's a problem.
- 31:24Speaker 1: It is a problem. It seems growers in California have
- 31:26Speaker 1: produced far more product than the market can handle, so
- 31:30Speaker 1: consumers are just not keeping up, you know with that.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Because of this, industry insiders are urging state licenseed growers
- 31:38Speaker 1: to scale back before the inventory gets more out of control,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and some farmers turned to the black market to unload
- 31:44Speaker 1: their excess. That just means weed prices go down when
- 31:47Speaker 1: you got a big surplus like that. So I heard, so,
- 31:50Speaker 1: I heard. So, I mean, I really don't know. Read
- 31:54Speaker 1: a lot. Now good. We don't go to the weed store.
- 32:01Speaker 1: You weed the weed man. Stick with your weed man
- 32:04Speaker 1: because he's much more dependable than the store. Legal though.
- 32:08Speaker 1: There you go with that. Look at that. Now you
- 32:20Speaker 1: see the store in Hollywood hollyweed hollyweedyweed, you know, but
- 32:24Speaker 1: it's so weird for people who don't know what what
- 32:27Speaker 1: the weed program is here in if you're traveling in
- 32:29Speaker 1: l A. And you see a green cross and looks
- 32:32Speaker 1: like the Red Cross, that's not a hospital. Okay, that's
- 32:38Speaker 1: the weed. So yeah, when you see it's like the
- 32:41Speaker 1: red Cross, but that's not the hospital. So don't go
- 32:44Speaker 1: in there, you know, because you cut your finger or
- 32:46Speaker 1: something like that. You know, they're all over. It's a
- 32:50Speaker 1: lot of weavers, but your your your friendly weed man delivers.
- 32:54Speaker 1: He's dependable. So I heard. I don't know if it's legal.
- 32:59Speaker 1: J Why there you go with that? Now you stuck
- 33:02Speaker 1: on that? There you go. I had to bring that.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You can't see you didn't let that go. You just go.
- 33:14Speaker 1: That's a way to not go to jail. You know
- 33:16Speaker 1: how much fun you will not having this world if
- 33:19Speaker 1: you did everything just at Oh my god, do they
- 33:24Speaker 1: still not let you put that money in the bank
- 33:27Speaker 1: or something that you don't make hurt? Neither? Do the
- 33:32Speaker 1: illegal one put it in the bag? No, that's what
- 33:35Speaker 1: I'm talking. Oh the illegal one, well, yeah, the illegal
- 33:38Speaker 1: but the legal ones either they came. Well, I had
- 33:40Speaker 1: quit you know in the week game for a while,
- 33:43Speaker 1: and then I went back in a minute, and uh,
- 33:46Speaker 1: I went in there and I asked the guy to
- 33:49Speaker 1: give me a nickel bag. They ran my ass out
- 33:51Speaker 1: of there from a distinal person and you can get
- 33:59Speaker 1: an they're putting up two facons. Need about roll me
- 34:06Speaker 1: a loose when it didn't get your I don't know.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I don't know much about this, but they said. I
- 34:13Speaker 1: heard they got gummy bears and bears the animals. They
- 34:17Speaker 1: got the brownies, yea, Sodas candy, whatever you want. The
- 34:23Speaker 1: third my boy told me, if you message their metabals,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you'll be high in a hell. You can't figure out
- 34:31Speaker 1: how you got hecause you would be eating because they
- 34:36Speaker 1: taste so good. The edibles taste so good. I didn't
- 34:43Speaker 1: wonder my age about forties brownies with some mirk on
- 34:48Speaker 1: my I put my clothes on because I thought I
- 34:52Speaker 1: was gonna die. I wanted to be I wanted to
- 34:56Speaker 1: be dressed up, get me run. At least he had
- 35:09Speaker 1: you know that, Jay was I think it's time to
- 35:24Speaker 1: go to the ladies and gentlemen. Oh my goodness, working
- 35:35Speaker 1: on this show so difficult. Anyway, I gotta transition to
- 35:38Speaker 1: the serious stuff. Good morning everyone. Uh, this is an
- 35:40Speaker 1: trip with the news. Well that didn't take long. White
- 35:42Speaker 1: House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci shown the door yesterday, only
- 35:47Speaker 1: ten days after he assumed the position in the wake
- 35:49Speaker 1: of Sean Spicer's resignation. Ryans Prebus, who was the chief
- 35:53Speaker 1: of staff he was also kind of like Scarmucci accused
- 35:56Speaker 1: him of being a leaker. He has now left. So
- 35:59Speaker 1: now the new chief staff has retired Marine Corps General
- 36:02Speaker 1: John Kelly and tropic Illinistration spokesperson Sarah Huckaby. Sanders says
- 36:05Speaker 1: the changes are part of a reorganization. President felt it
- 36:08Speaker 1: was inappropriate both Anthony and General Kelly. Also, I think
- 36:12Speaker 1: came to a mutual agreement and we're moving forward to
- 36:15Speaker 1: focus on the jobs outside of this building, not within it.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Sanders no doubt referring to Scaramucci's profanity laden remarks to
- 36:21Speaker 1: The New Yorker magazine dissing Ryan's previous and others in
- 36:24Speaker 1: the Trump in a circle in vulgar real vulgar terms,
- 36:28Speaker 1: and Sanders says that Scaramucci will not have a position
- 36:30Speaker 1: in the administration. On Capitol Hill, Republicans in the House
- 36:33Speaker 1: have been joined by five Democrats and voting in favor
- 36:35Speaker 1: of letting US taxpayers foot the bill for Trump's promised
- 36:38Speaker 1: border wall. Yeah, that one the one he insisted during
- 36:41Speaker 1: the campaign that Mexico would pay for, not us. The
- 36:44Speaker 1: Democrats say the provision was tucked into a larger eight
- 36:47Speaker 1: hundred and twenty seven billion dollar measure that primarily provides
- 36:50Speaker 1: funds for national security while calling for American taxpayers to
- 36:53Speaker 1: put up one point six billion for the US Mexico
- 36:55Speaker 1: border wall. The U S Center now will still have
- 36:58Speaker 1: to pass its own version of a national security bill.
- 37:00Speaker 1: So we see what that had, how that problems together,
- 37:03Speaker 1: and then when they have one bill, they send that
- 37:04Speaker 1: to the president. Sephie signs it okay. The latest Harris
- 37:07Speaker 1: poll shows that most Americas do not agree with President
- 37:10Speaker 1: Trump's calling for a ban on transgender service members are
- 37:13Speaker 1: recent lou Harris survey of thirty adults shows at fifty
- 37:17Speaker 1: percent say they disagree with the president, and that current
- 37:20Speaker 1: and former military personnel also say they disagree with Trump's
- 37:23Speaker 1: a recent tweet. Former Sheriff of Phoenix, Arizona, Joe I. Pile,
- 37:27Speaker 1: has been convicted of ignoring a George's order and going
- 37:30Speaker 1: after Latino's pretty much in his anti immigrant patrols. He
- 37:34Speaker 1: faces six months in prison. Episodes of several HBO shows
- 37:37Speaker 1: for next week's Game of Thrones and other stuff have
- 37:39Speaker 1: been hacked. And today is National Spider Man Day. That
- 37:45Speaker 1: sounds good right now? I like the hip party. Okay,
- 37:50Speaker 1: Eugene the Butterfly. Twenty minutes after the hour, stay tuned
- 37:53Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Are tending to introduce Eugene. Guys,

- 38:26Speaker 1: It is by Tuesday for all you all that have. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: he's still mad about that. You gotta let that go. Now,
- 38:34Speaker 1: tell everybody, because we had you're mad and everybody. Now
- 38:38Speaker 1: I've been tweeting it and everything. Everybody. Now, y'all went
- 38:41Speaker 1: over there the pairs, y'all bought a bunch of superness,
- 38:44Speaker 1: came back here and knew I wanted up all right
- 38:46Speaker 1: and then bring me up all right. And you could
- 38:48Speaker 1: have brought me up all right and we wouldn't be
- 38:49Speaker 1: able to having this conversation. But you're not like it's okay,
- 38:52Speaker 1: it was an accident. We forgot. You don't make accidents
- 38:55Speaker 1: in Paris and bring your butt all the way back
- 38:56Speaker 1: across the water, and it's like, you don't do that.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You don't do that. Now you can't go back and
- 39:01Speaker 1: pick up up right now. We're gonna somebody's gonna get
- 39:06Speaker 1: me up, all right. But fought this week is And
- 39:09Speaker 1: the crazy part is it was right there and we
- 39:12Speaker 1: said we got telling me. He said, you sat there
- 39:16Speaker 1: and looked at the bart looked and we had and
- 39:19Speaker 1: had Paris written across and that's the one I wanted
- 39:22Speaker 1: and went to the register with it. But now everything
- 39:26Speaker 1: you wanted to get out and I didn't get trying
- 39:27Speaker 1: to drip, Eric didn't. If you got me, you can
- 39:31Speaker 1: hear me. Did everything you want to get? I got
- 39:34Speaker 1: a couple of things. I know you got a couple
- 39:36Speaker 1: of things. And how many barrets did you pay us
- 39:37Speaker 1: by on the street? Guess that one because it had
- 39:40Speaker 1: your name written I don't remember. We were talking about
- 39:44Speaker 1: it that you ran out of your roles when we
- 39:47Speaker 1: get to the right, Well, they were expensive. They we
- 39:53Speaker 1: wouldn't buy you anything cheap or inexpensive. We had all
- 39:56Speaker 1: the souvenirs at the rest. I got a lot of
- 40:00Speaker 1: stuff that Yeah, yeah, I got everybody's time thing and
- 40:05Speaker 1: I'm the person to say you bring me up at right. Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 1: you did pay them in American dollars, so if we
- 40:12Speaker 1: ran out of euros, that was just hit. At the moment,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I got something funny. What happened? You got the song
- 40:20Speaker 1: about to do with? What's that? Got to do? Whatever? Right?

- 40:46Speaker 1: for him. You gotta do something with me. Talk When

- 51:52Speaker 1: making nothing because they will blowing your young I wan't
- 51:54Speaker 1: about their paper. You don't understand that. And you sow
- 51:58Speaker 1: you ready for no jail. Because I say one more
- 52:00Speaker 1: thing to you that, Yeah, what is it all I
- 52:02Speaker 1: want to do is tell you it is that I'm

- 54:45Speaker 1: s F sun Don't it's in Tampa, Florida. All right,
- 54:48Speaker 1: thank you, nef listen to this. According to a new study,
- 54:52Speaker 1: men who consume too much sugar, especially from sweet drinks
- 54:57Speaker 1: and snacks, are more likely to develop depression or anxiety.
- 55:04Speaker 1: The researchers also found that women are not at all
- 55:07Speaker 1: affected in this way by overdosing on sugar. But I really,
- 55:11Speaker 1: I really have cutback. But that does not mean I'm
- 55:15Speaker 1: a diabetic. I have to. But they're diabetic to eat
- 55:17Speaker 1: a lot of sugar. But I'm not. I'm not a
- 55:19Speaker 1: sugar dady. I'm gonna splendid dad. That's the sugar daddy
- 55:24Speaker 1: with diabetes. Known what I am? All your young girls
- 55:31Speaker 1: girls say, alright, coming up next the Strawberry letter. This
- 55:43Speaker 1: crazy you're listening to show? Alright. Kathy Griffin comedian Kathy
- 55:50Speaker 1: Griffin like her, she's been out of the you know,
- 55:54Speaker 1: out of the spotlight for a while. Every since sheld
- 55:57Speaker 1: that Donald bloodied and everything that mask. Well you know
- 56:03Speaker 1: she's also went bad. Yeah, she didn't run that by
- 56:08Speaker 1: anyone but the photographer. Uh, and he said it was okay.
- 56:12Speaker 1: She's off the hook now for thathotography. Yeah. On Friday,
- 56:16Speaker 1: Cathy tweeted, I am no longer under federal investigation. The
- 56:20Speaker 1: case is closed. I have been completely exonerated. Finally. In June,
- 56:25Speaker 1: Cathy of course reveals she was under federal investigation for
- 56:28Speaker 1: the picture, which ignited a huge backlash, though she won't
- 56:32Speaker 1: face any legal troubled, Cathy's career has suffered. She lost
- 56:36Speaker 1: her New Year's Eve gig on CNN, as well as
- 56:39Speaker 1: the Squatty Potty commercial. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Also
- 56:45Speaker 1: several of the shows on her comedy tour were canceled.
- 56:48Speaker 1: But now he's gonna try to rebuild. Now. I think
- 56:50Speaker 1: I think she should be allowed to work, especially now.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I think I should give her job back on New
- 56:59Speaker 1: Year's Eve because her and Anderson Cooper were really good
- 57:03Speaker 1: and looked man. She went too far. She's apologized, you
- 57:06Speaker 1: know what I mean, that's it. You know, Look, our
- 57:10Speaker 1: president has said some stuff and made no apology and
- 57:14Speaker 1: he's still the president. See. I didn't agree with Billy
- 57:17Speaker 1: Bush being fired because he didn't say half of what
- 57:21Speaker 1: God said on that bus, and he got fired from NBC.
- 57:26Speaker 1: But but the president, he's still the president. So I
- 57:31Speaker 1: think it's unfair that he loses his job. And I
- 57:37Speaker 1: think it's unfair that Kathy Griffin has to lose her
- 57:40Speaker 1: work and stuff like that because she made she made
- 57:43Speaker 1: a tasteless joke. It was it was in poor taste.
- 57:46Speaker 1: We've all done it, you know, and it's it's and
- 57:49Speaker 1: and it's not that you mean so much harm with it.
- 57:52Speaker 1: It's just you just you just get away from you sometimes. Man,
- 57:55Speaker 1: like you said, you don't know where the edge is
- 57:57Speaker 1: sometimes until you cross it. You always say that the stuff,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I don't think it's over the edge at all. I
- 58:02Speaker 1: just think it's funny. And then next thing, you know, Hell,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm Steve. They go in on Steve when I'm so
- 58:13Speaker 1: glad I know what we're gonna Wait wait, uh did
- 58:18Speaker 1: you hear? I know exactly what edges? And I don't
- 58:24Speaker 1: go down't you've been swimming past? Never Steve, say something. Now,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I don't go over the don't ask a question to
- 58:32Speaker 1: say something. He doesn't. He don't go over there because
- 58:37Speaker 1: when he go over there, he moved the line. Okay,
- 58:41Speaker 1: he go over to the edge. You see it when
- 58:43Speaker 1: he moved the line. Didn't he do the job? And
- 58:46Speaker 1: he's staying there? Time on? What did I do that?
- 58:52Speaker 1: But but but be looking just as confused. Yeah, he's
- 58:57Speaker 1: stiff fired off several just this morning. Alright, alright, come on, nephew,
- 59:03Speaker 1: let's go buggal up. Hold on, Tye, we got it
- 59:06Speaker 1: for you. Here. It is a strawberry letter. Thank you, Tommy.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Subject totally confused. Just Steve and Shirley. I am a
- 59:14Speaker 1: middle aged single female who has been dating a man
- 59:17Speaker 1: about five years my junior. He's a great guy, has
- 59:21Speaker 1: great values, is a family man. But here's the problem.
- 59:25Speaker 1: He can't afford to buy a ring. I'm not materialistic
- 59:30Speaker 1: at all. However, I am wondering if his inability to
- 59:33Speaker 1: purchase a ring is a sign that maybe there will
- 59:36Speaker 1: be other financial issues down the line. Since we met,
- 59:39Speaker 1: he has lost two jobs, his car, and his house,
- 59:43Speaker 1: all because he is pursuing an entrepreneurship which is currently
- 59:47Speaker 1: not thriving. I have a pH d, a great job, home,
- 59:52Speaker 1: and I'm doing pretty well for myself. About three years ago,
- 59:56Speaker 1: I received a huge bonus check and at that time
- 59:59Speaker 1: he's stated whatever comes to either of us, either one
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: of us would be both of ours. And he proceeded
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to ask me if he could use some of the
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: money to buy me a ring. I thought that was crazy.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I know that he's trying to get on his feet,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: but it is draining to have to deal with this
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: for so long. So here we are three years later,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: and he's still working towards purchasing the ring. I've been
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: patient with him, paid his bills, allowed him to use
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: my car, giving him gas money. But I'm getting tired
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: of extending my resources. Here's my questions. Am I settling
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: for someone who may just be a taker? Or is
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: it possible that he's just having a bad six year break?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Totally confused? Okay, dear, totally confused after three years of
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: this foolishness. Uh, you should be tired. Uh you know
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: now here, you are a well educated woman. You know
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: you have a nice home, right job, etcetera, etcetera. And
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and you sound like you know you really got got
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: it going on. I mean, you have a PhD for
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: having sakes. Um. But but let's have some common sense here, okay,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: just some plain old common sense as far as your
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: man goes, Yes, you can pursue an entrepreneurship. You know,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: no problem. I have a problem with that at all.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: You can have lofty goals, big dreams, all that, but
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: unless you're already a millionaire, you know you still got
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to get up and go to work here, you do,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you know, until your plan, until your dreams come into fruition.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I say, it's nice that you helped him thus far,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: but I don't see him doing anything. I really don't.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: All he's doing is talking and allowing you to pay
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: for everything, and I don't care. No real man, just
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: no real man, is gonna let this happen on a
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: continual basis. You know, even to the point of using
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: your money to buy you your own ring. That is
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: just crazy. It's really crazy. You're confused because you know
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: this is crazy. And I say, tell him to get
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: off his butt and get a job. Steve. Wow, ma'am
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: your middle age single female who's been dating a man
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: about five years you jr. Okay, that's no problem. He's
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: great values, is a family man. What what does that mean?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: He's a family man. But here's the problem. He can't
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: afford to buy a ring. I'm not realistic materialistic, However,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: one of his inability to purchase a ring as a
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: sign that maybe other financial issues down the line. What
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: you're about to describe to me he can't afford to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: buy a ring. Listen to this. Since we met, he's
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: lost two jobs, his car, and his house, all because
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: he's pursuing an entrepreneurship which currently is not thriving. Wait
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: a minute, you took all those steps back. If you're
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: gonna give up all of that it is to gain what.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: You don't give up two jobs, obs, your car, and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: your house if you're not trying to gain something. But
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I don't understand the person who gives up that kind
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: of stuff. These are necessary things. A place to stay
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: and a way to get to where you're going, and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a way to provide for yourself. You don't give up
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: those You give up club, and you give up liquor,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: you give up gambling. That's what you give up to
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: start your business. You don't give up your house and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: your car. Coming up, stee, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: his response at twenty three after the hour. We'll be
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: right back. You're listening to Okay, y'all, here's this woman's
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: dating this guy five years of junior. Great guy, great values,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: family men. But here's a problem. He can't afford to
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: buy a ring. Now I'm not mere materialistic, however, I'm
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: wanting His inability to purchare ring is a sign that
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: there may be other financial issues down the line. She said.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Since we met, he's lost two jobs. Is called his
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: house all because of pursuing an entrepreneurship, which is currently
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: not thriving. I have a PhD, great job at home.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I'm doing pretty well for myself. About three years ago,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I received a huge bonus check, and at that time
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: he stated, whatever comes to either one of us would
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: be both of ours, and he proceeded to ask me
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: if he could use some of the money to buy
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: me a ring. I thought that was crazy. I know
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: he's trying to get on his feet, but it's draining
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to have to deal with this for so long. So
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: here we are three years later, he's still working towards
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: purchasing the ring. I've been patient with him, paid his bills,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: a lot of music, car giving him gas money, but
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I'm getting tired of extending my resources. Here's my question
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: and my settling for someone who may be a taker
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: or possibly he's just having a bad six year break,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: totally confused. Excuse me, He's not having a bad six
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: year break, He's having years of making bad decisions. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: now he has a cushion, and the cushion is you.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: So now he has the luxury of continuing down the
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: path that he's on. He ain't got to get a
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: good job. He ain't got to give you a He
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: don't he need guys because guess what he used in
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: your car, So he don't. He don't need his own
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: car because he's using your car and you're giving him
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: gas money and you're extending yourself because of what. This
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: is not a great guy. Stop if then, if you
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: listed the things of great guys that you're looking for,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: would this guy even be anywhere near the So what?
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: He's a good family man? Who the hell? An he
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: gotta stay with him? Hey, yeah, he's a good family man.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: We're gonna come on, come on, lady, you got a
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: pH d. But you're not thinking the way the way
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you're capable of thinking. And it happens to so many people.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Listen to me. If he's lost two jobs, this kind
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: of house pursuing an entrepreneship which is not currently thriving
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: sounds of me like a bigger problem is is he
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: can't make a decision. And I don't think the man
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: really wants to marry you. It's what this is all
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: boiling down to. Because he keeps using the excuse of
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the ring you've bought into the he can't forward the ring.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Does he really want to marry you? Or does he
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: have what so many have, so many men have? He
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: has the woman of his dreams. You're perfect. We don't
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: need to get married. You're helping me, you're supporting me,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you're taking care of me everything a woman really wants
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: from a man. You are his man. You know you're
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the catch. He's not the catch if you let him
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: go right now. Not many adult women would sign up
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: for this guy, knowing what we know right now. So
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: how is he a catch? What's great about this guy?
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: The great person in this relationship is you, and you
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: need to be great to yourself because you think you're
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: tired of it now. He shows no signs of changing
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: his behavior at all, So this cycle is gonna continue.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: He ain't ever gonna get you a ring. He ain't
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: ever gonna pull himself together and get on his feet,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: because guess what, he's on his feet. He's found everything
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: he needed to find in you, you know. And and
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: this thing about right about the time that this check
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: was coming, you told him that you had this bonus
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: check coming, He stated, right then, anything that comes in
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: as hours, both of ours. He ain't bought nothing in
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: to be ours. You. You are the only one that
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: has ours. He has put nothing in the kiddy to share.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: You keep sharing your house, your car, your gas money.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Now here comes to bonus check. You know, everything come
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: in his hours. Can I use some of the ring
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: money to buy you a ring? No? No, no. What
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: that means is, can I use some of the money
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: to buy you a ring? To keep holding onto this
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: good thing I got, because all you want is a ring.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: If I get you this ring, I can keep holding
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: onto this thing that I got, which is just you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: getting the ring. Don't mean you're gonna get married right
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the end. We gotta go. Let's get out of this now,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: email or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: at my girls. Sure, okay, all right, did you guys
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: hear about this this new study that says ugly people
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: make more money? Been knowing that they were they I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: was wondering why you was the woman in head all
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: with your pocket food. I see why? Now did he
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: cross the land? Yeah? With his uncle that. I'm perfectly
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: fine being this on the tracks. What little stupid sounding
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: big bug? Yeah, congratulations. What you have is what you
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: had when you were younger, and they said what you
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: got you ain't going to win with that thing. You
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the first person called me, and you can't even hurt
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: me no more. I'm sixty. Yeah, long, I've been up
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: the same time. I do you know how many times
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I've heard the word ugly? Come on, man, Oh my god,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: it doesn't even bother. I've heard it so much growing
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: up that I just went on and went with it. Yeah,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I've heard it from ugly people. I was gonna ask
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you that, Steve, why would Tommy say that about you?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Does Tommy think he's h Tommy has always been the
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: family member that thinks he's attractive. I keep it telling me,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I don't think we don't have attractive I don't know.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: You don't know. No, no, you shut up and learn yourself,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: so I know myself. We're not we don't have attractive me.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: You gotta highest you don't have a jaw line. He
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: just gonna raised the whole jaw line. His ken is
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: attached to his Let look at him from the side, Hey, hey,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: no he think he can he be looking at him?
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Sure at all? To the side, and see how high
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: y'all ask? Notice that your chi right it touches your chest? Man? Well,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: how other you got to get to get toward fit?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: To me? I'm like to run my ass into a
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: brick wall right there. And Junior, you don't have to
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: what you gotta do? You already that's it. You're listening
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, Steve come on
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: introduced Junior in his poetry secment Ladies and Gentlemen, a
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: new segment called Juniors Poetry Moment. Yeah, everybody snapped, thank you. Uh,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: let me say today's palm here is really that's what
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you do when you a poet. Tommy, you don't know
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: nothing about this. Glance all this over there, sit down
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: so attract himself, hurt him. You always messaging with me,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: by my poet, you look like a turtle, you know.

- 1:12:32Speaker 1: for him. But then since you don't want to be
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: this this actually something Eugene. Actually you're speaking for Eugene
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: with this poem. Yeah, because I understand how he felt

- 1:17:59Speaker 1: These questions just for the guys. Let's start with you, Steve,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: of course, how many partners? These are questions I'm asking
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you about women. How many partners do you think a
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: woman should have? Two? That's the max number you should
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: ever say. I don't give a damn if you have
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: slept with thirty five men. When you meet a man
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: and they say how many sexual partners have you had?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Two is your max number? Three? Three tops period a right,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: and that's two failed marriages in there. But yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: three max to fail marriages. Good, ladies, listen to me.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: Don't ever give a higher number. Okay, now, why does that?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't give that. Don't reever. We don't need to
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: know that. And you don't want to know how many
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of he been with? Three is your max number? Don't
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: ever say more than three, ladies, I don't give a
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: damn man, It don't mean nothing that you've been with more.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: But don't you say that three is the max? No,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: damn that he ain't gonna read. Well, what about that
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: we didn't do We didn't have sex? What you dated
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a man three years? Never had sex? Three? Just like? Okay? Three? Dust? Okay, Well,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: didn't say this, say you slept with toy of men?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Didn't see how that sounds? Yeah, tell him you've been
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: with fifteen dudes. See if you get to number sixteen,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: we can get the number sixteen. But you ain't gonna
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: be here. So it does bother you when she has
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: a high number high. I don't even want to know. Don't, don't,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I don't want to tell me. Three man, three, y'all listen, Yeah,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: y'all listen. Yeah, I hope the ladies are listening. I'm
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: just being honest. I was wild in my college day,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: now you wasn't You mean with a high number of men.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: And when you go out and everybody keeps speaking to you,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: let me know right there, how many you say you
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: want it still? Or you go to the motel and
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: the collects, the usual room. A girl asked me one time,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: how many women was going to ask you for that matter?
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: That was a good as for that matter right there?
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: What have you ever tried to write them all down? Yeah?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I used to do that, and what it was it
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: was not alone. It looks but it looks bad on
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: it's horrible. It looks badly if it's a lot, you mean,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: especially when you came my name, just you remember he
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: remembers a lot of names. Black dress, you say that, Pittsburgh,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: black dress, black dress. I don't think that's bad if
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: you're not remembered about all? Right? So do you lie
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: in order to avoid a fight with your significant other?
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: The man by asking these questions for the ladies. Yeah,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: you lie, and that's the truth. You mean a lady.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Should a woman lie and avoid a fight with absolutely? Absolutely?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: You cannot tell this fool of truth all the time.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: You can't. You can't. You can't tell him, you don't
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: call it. But let me tell you something. A smart woman,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: A smart woman will protect her man by not divulging
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: all information because you know how your man is. So
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you can't come here from work and say, I'm so
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: sick at him down there. Just every time I turned around,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: he had my desk in my face. I can't stand
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: on him because now you know, he come down to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: your job and then you ask ain't gonna be working
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: there no more because he went on that slap the
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: damn supervivor you and your damn supervisor out of work.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you you can't. A smart woman protects her
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: man with giving out information. A couple of years later,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: when this situation is over, we were I give you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: a perfect example. You know, Margie travels. This Russian guy
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and his wife walked up to Margie one time she
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: was at a dinner with this fashist show. He took
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a piece of piece of ice and put it on
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: the back of her neck and she jerked, jumped up. Yeah,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: so you know. She she comes back home, she tells
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: me that we this past trip, we at this fascist show.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I meet this dude, this Russia. I think in cool
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: and cool. I say, baby, come in, I said, let
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: me introduce you. This got out here. She looked at
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: him and walked straight away. She just walked straight away.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Then she waited until we left that whole country because
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: we in another country at the party. She said, Steve.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: The reason I don't want to say now because remember
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: when I told you this man put some mice on
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: this on my neck with his wife. He said that
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: was him. I said, baby, why don't you tell me
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: that when I was right there? Because you're asses, yeah,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and your ass when it went to jail in Palermo
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: and you can't speak and tell you and we don't
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: know where that's it. I'm just over there get you.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: But I don't know where Palermo, and I don't know
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: what to take. Let me ask you this question. It's
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: a group of people. Let's say you're the party or something,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: and you see somebody that you have been with in
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: your past. I'm just ain't asked feeling. I immediately go
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: getting it am car and we're not fit to run
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: up in each other hug none of this. I take
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: my ass immediately and get into the car. I'm sick.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Only only women can handle a situation men can't? Can women?
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Can y'all co exist by being in a in a
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: party atmosphere and look across the room. You're with your man,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: but you look across room and see a man that
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you know, you you've had dealings with in the pants?
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Can you can you stay in the room and absolutely, yeah,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: it's not me. I'm not I'm not spend the rest
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: of my evening hoping your ass don't walk up to
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: me and talk about how you been. That's what I
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: ain't gonna say. So, well, you know I'm from you sleep,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: But let's just get the hell out of this room
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: right back and true, I promise you that's not happen.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: You're sing alright? Uh. A Florida couple announced their split
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: back in March after less than two years of marriage.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Now the firm representing the wife. Now the firm representing
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the wife explains the split was caused by a difference
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: in politics. She is a staunch Republican. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: yeah it is. Yeah. They talked about this during the
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: whole campaign, election and everything. She's a staunch Republican and
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: supporter of Donald Trump and was feeling isolated by her
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Democrat husband. She's getting plenty of alimony in the settlement, however. Uh.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: The wife is a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and the
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: husband is an attorney. They've been married for less than
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: two years, like I mentioned, but her husband will have
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to pay up big time. Wifey is set to receive
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars worth of benefit in exchange for
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: her signature on the doubted mine and husband will also
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: play pay rent and a luxury booker ra Ton condo
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: until next summer summer along um and he'll he'll also
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: fit the bill for a new BMW and forty dollars
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: in cash. So you still win. That been easy, man. Yeah,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: it really isn't benefit good as numbers. But they're getting
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: a divorce over But you know, it's sports Mary. People
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: like family members have an argument Republicans Democrats. True, he
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: can't even go you know, argument must have been pretty
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: tough in the house. You can take your repeated replaces shove.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: If you disagree with my farm, yeah, don't, don't. Don't
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: come in his house. He don't do that. You have
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: to agree with him in don't come in here arguing
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: with me. Oh yeah, because it's his about politics or
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: anything like. Don't don't you hate. My father's famous words
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: was ain't no back and forth in here. It's just fourth.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: We don't do back. Ain't no back and four were
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: all were doing here? Foth I bring it forth and
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing back. So you couldn't argue with
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: my father in his house. Just don't even why this
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: is where I live. I pay all this up in here.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: You can't argue with me in here. We canna go
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: outside on the sidewalk, But in here, though, on my porch,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: in my kitchen, I don't my father said my table
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: and disagree with me. He's not gonna have it. No,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: he's not gonna. We're not gonna do that. You know,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: if you didn't like kidding, if you didn't like Mama
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Luther King, you get that. Don't even come in here.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: My father thought Marna Luther King man, that was his dude.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: My dad people, Yeah, my father, Marge. My father is
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: actually in one of those civil rights movies. He's actually
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: in one of them self, Malabamas. When my daddy, yeah,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: I can't tell you what he was doing. My father
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: didn't really do the piece thing. They're good. Your family
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: was good friends with Don King to right, Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: my daddy ran numbers with Don King. Don't know me
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: real well, real well, because my father could only work
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: in the summertime, some in fall because in the winter
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: and construction in Cleveland's no work. So my father would
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: not do welfare. So what he did was he booked
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: numbers with Don King. We ran numbers in Cleveland. So
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: my paper route was not a paper route, it was
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: a cover. I wrote my bike around the neighborhood, collecting
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: the money out of the different boxes in the number
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: spots like it might be under defender of your car,
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: it might be under your steps, it might be behind
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: your mailbox. Had to memorize all them. Collector Merry morning,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: dropping off my daddy's he could book him. He get
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: tempert in all the winnings. That's how we survived in
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: the who I've been ning number since I would not,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: but he did it all summer long too. Yes, when
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: you think you know that was a lottery back then, right,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: that's where the lottery coming from, the lottery comes from.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: The numbers, Penny numbers bumping him and all the boards
