- 0:01Speaker 1: Five Democratic alternatives if President Biden exits the twenty twenty
- 0:05Speaker 1: four race. It's not just the fact that Democrats are
- 0:09Speaker 1: really concerned now about Biden's age and they're concerned about
- 0:14Speaker 1: his incompetency. They're concerned about the rambling, but now they're
- 0:19Speaker 1: trying to figure out what's next. There was two things
- 0:21Speaker 1: that happen that are very telling. One, there's an actual
- 0:25Speaker 1: article that came out. Now this came out and I'm
- 0:29Speaker 1: going to read part of it to you in a moment,
- 0:31Speaker 1: but it also is coming out at the same time
- 0:33Speaker 1: where many in the media are starting to talk about
- 0:37Speaker 1: what does it look like if we do kick Joe
- 0:39Speaker 1: Biden to the curb. Sonny Houston, who is basically nothing
- 0:45Speaker 1: more than a press secretary for Kamala Harris, she said
- 0:49Speaker 1: this on the View as well.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Listen, you know what kind of is still strange to me?
- 0:55Speaker 2: Why is Kamala is so dangerous?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Right?
- 0:58Speaker 4: That's why do you think nook? That's kind of.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Offensive to me? And the other thing is she's unprepared coapla.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Harris, by the way, was.
- 1:10Speaker 2: The first woman elected DA of San Francisco, the first
- 1:13Speaker 2: woman to be Attorney General of California. She's the first
- 1:16Speaker 2: female vice president. She's been on the job doing a
- 1:18Speaker 2: damn good job, and I am so tired of people
- 1:22Speaker 2: questioning her qualifications.
- 1:24Speaker 4: The woman is ready.
- 1:25Speaker 2: To lead if she.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Needs to lead.
- 1:28Speaker 2: But I don't think Joe Biden's going anywhere because I'll
- 1:30Speaker 2: see him on his bike in Delaware.
- 1:32Speaker 4: I can't bite that much.
- 1:33Speaker 2: And I mean he's fit. And let's compare the Republican
- 1:37Speaker 2: candidate who eats cheeseburgers and throws spaghetti at the wall.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I mean, is he prepared in dining and for jurisdictions.
- 1:46Speaker 5: People.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Now, you couldn't see what I was watching when that
- 1:50Speaker 1: happened on TV, but this was clearly a pre planned segment.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It was obvious that this was pre planned because Sonny
- 1:58Speaker 1: kept looking down at her notes. She had notes that
- 2:02Speaker 1: she clearly had prepared to make the argument for which
- 2:05Speaker 1: you just heard.
- 2:06Speaker 4: And this was not an organic conversation.
- 2:10Speaker 1: This was not a you know, it's interesting you brought
- 2:13Speaker 1: X Y and Z up and I really want to
- 2:15Speaker 1: talk about this. To be clear, this was one hundred
- 2:19Speaker 1: percent deliberately done on purpose. This was something they made
- 2:23Speaker 1: a conversation about. I'm sure in the back room before
- 2:27Speaker 1: the show, and they're like, hey, I want to go
- 2:28Speaker 1: into you know, Joe Biden will defend him. But then also,
- 2:31Speaker 1: let's float this idea about Kamala Harrison.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Let's defend her.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And she's like, all right, staff, get me some talking
- 2:38Speaker 1: points here. I need some good talking points for her
- 2:42Speaker 1: because she was looking down the entire time that she
- 2:47Speaker 1: was doing the analogies about her career and the accolades.
- 2:52Speaker 1: She didn't know any of that stuff from heart. This
- 2:54Speaker 1: was all scripted TV. And while this is happening, while
- 3:00Speaker 1: they're floating this idea that Okay, maybe we get rid
- 3:03Speaker 1: of Joe Biden. Maybe it's time to say goodbye to
- 3:05Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Maybe this is the end of the road
- 3:07Speaker 1: for him. There was another op ed that also came
- 3:10Speaker 1: out over the weekend, and this is how you know
- 3:13Speaker 1: that the Democratic Party is really starting to float this
- 3:16Speaker 1: real quick to see if they can get their act
- 3:19Speaker 1: together and could they even have a chance to replace
- 3:23Speaker 1: Joe Biden if they need to, And would that be
- 3:26Speaker 1: with Kamala Harris?
- 3:27Speaker 4: Who else would that be with? Right?
- 3:28Speaker 6: Like?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Who else would it be? This is the OpEd that
- 3:33Speaker 1: came out over the weekend. Hunter Biden could hand Donald
- 3:35Speaker 1: Trump the keys to the White House poor America. It
- 3:39Speaker 1: may soon be easier to list the figures in American
- 3:42Speaker 1: public life who are not under indictment than those who are.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Most famously the article rights. Former President Donald Trump is
- 3:51Speaker 1: under for indictments ranging from hush money payments to election interference.
- 3:56Speaker 1: The most recent indictment from the Fulton County relates to
- 3:59Speaker 1: alleged to overturn the twenty twenty election results in the
- 4:02Speaker 1: state of Georgia.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Trump was charged along with eighteen others.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Despite all this and more, the former president remains the
- 4:09Speaker 1: front runner to be the Republican nominee for the twenty
- 4:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty four election. That he will have to be
- 4:16Speaker 1: on the campaign trail only when he is not in
- 4:18Speaker 1: the courtroom is a suboptimal situation for his party, to
- 4:23Speaker 1: say the least. So they're even admitting now in these
- 4:26Speaker 1: articles that this is a straight up election interference. They
- 4:30Speaker 1: have charged the president former President Trump with crimes because
- 4:34Speaker 1: they know that that will then mean that he cannot
- 4:36Speaker 1: be on the campaign trail. He'll be stuck in a
- 4:40Speaker 1: courtroom defending himself, making sure he doesn't go to prison
- 4:43Speaker 1: for the rest of his life. Over these bogus charges.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They're saying this to you, they're putting it in writing now.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Quote.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But this week we learn that the grand jury in
- 4:53Speaker 1: Georgia also looked into indicting thirty nine other people, including
- 4:57Speaker 1: former senators and two sitting senators, among them Senior Republican
- 5:02Speaker 1: leader Lindsey Graham. The fact that the grand jury even
- 5:06Speaker 1: thought of this as extraordinary given Graham's only crime was
- 5:09Speaker 1: to question the integrity of mail in ballots, something which
- 5:13Speaker 1: many people did in twenty twenty because the unprecedented number
- 5:17Speaker 1: of these ballots during a COVID election. Besides which Democrats
- 5:21Speaker 1: have often complained about election interference whenever it suited them,
- 5:26Speaker 1: Senator Graham ended up being one of the most important
- 5:28Speaker 1: figures in the Republican Party to stand against Donald Trump's
- 5:31Speaker 1: claims of a stolen election, and after all this, a
- 5:34Speaker 1: grand jury wanted to indict him.
- 5:36Speaker 4: The article reads.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Whenever anyone notes, as I just have that despite all this,
- 5:42Speaker 1: Trump remains the front runner, they question logically always follows
- 5:46Speaker 1: how the hell it seems inconceivable to many outside of
- 5:49Speaker 1: America that a candidate could not just be running for office,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but leading their party race by the highest possible margins
- 5:57Speaker 1: under such circumstances, has gone wrong with the place. Referring
- 6:02Speaker 1: to America, the author rights the answer is that the
- 6:05Speaker 1: indictments are actually helping Trump. When Democrats see the former
- 6:08Speaker 1: president's mugshot, as they recently got to do, perhaps they
- 6:12Speaker 1: equal some delight in their ultimate fantasy that it might
- 6:16Speaker 1: finally be coming true. Trump behind bars. But the other
- 6:21Speaker 1: half of the country reacts differently. Certainly, there are many
- 6:24Speaker 1: Republican voters who believe that the party needs to move
- 6:28Speaker 1: beyond Trump, But Republican voters in general do not believe
- 6:32Speaker 1: that Trump has been treated fairly and that is correct.
- 6:37Speaker 1: They see Trump as he sees himself, as the victim
- 6:39Speaker 1: of a political witch hunt. As the indictments build up,
- 6:43Speaker 1: the support for Trump among the GOP base has actually
- 6:46Speaker 1: solidified and also gone up. Many Americans on both sides
- 6:51Speaker 1: of the aisle simply no longer believe that Lady Justice
- 6:53Speaker 1: is blind. They believe the legal system, like almost every
- 6:57Speaker 1: other institutionist country, is woefully politicize, and that it has
- 7:03Speaker 1: become a political weapon of choice, a weapon currently being
- 7:07Speaker 1: used to take out the former president and prevent him
- 7:09Speaker 1: from running. In twenty twenty four, of all the things
- 7:13Speaker 1: that presently persuade Republican voters. As this fact, the sorest
- 7:18Speaker 1: point of contention remains a subject of Hunter Biden, the
- 7:21Speaker 1: current president's son. To many Americans, as well as those
- 7:24Speaker 1: outside of America, the case of Hunter Biden is background noise.
- 7:28Speaker 1: This is perhaps because in twenty twenty, when The New
- 7:30Speaker 1: York Post obtained and then published some of the contents
- 7:34Speaker 1: of Hunter Biden's purported laptop, the country's oldest newspaper had
- 7:38Speaker 1: a social media account throttled what many, including one former
- 7:43Speaker 1: acting director of the CIA, will view as a concerted
- 7:45Speaker 1: campaign of disinformation. Was then coordinated by now Secretary of
- 7:50Speaker 1: State Anthony Blincoln and more than fifty former intelligence agents.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Along with Twitter, Facebook, and parts of the media and
- 7:58Speaker 1: others in America eat they contributed to the effective suppression
- 8:03Speaker 1: and discrediting of the Post story. Even today, many intelligence
- 8:08Speaker 1: well informed Democratic voters can remain totally ignorant about the
- 8:13Speaker 1: contents of the laptop. For this reason, some have a
- 8:17Speaker 1: vague idea that there was we're embarrassing photographs on the laptop,
- 8:21Speaker 1: But because there has been such a blackout of the story,
- 8:24Speaker 1: few are as fully versed as Republican voters about why
- 8:28Speaker 1: the laptop is actually so important. The reason is that
- 8:32Speaker 1: its contents allegedly show Hunter Biden engaged in multiple influence
- 8:36Speaker 1: pedaling operations, in other words, profiting from his connections to
- 8:41Speaker 1: receive vast payments from among other countries, including China and Ukraine.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now I read you this so that you understand something's
- 8:52Speaker 1: happening right now. Democrats are concerned that Joe Biden may
- 8:57Speaker 1: actually lose. Democrats concerned about his cognitive decline. Democrats are
- 9:03Speaker 1: concerned about the embarrassment of him being on stage and
- 9:06Speaker 1: then his own staff shutting his microphone off and playing
- 9:09Speaker 1: him off that stage. They're concerned about his screw ups
- 9:13Speaker 1: even on the anniversary of nine to eleven. And they're
- 9:15Speaker 1: certainly concerned about Kamala Harris being the heir apparent to
- 9:19Speaker 1: the throne. They don't like her either, Just so you know,
- 9:23Speaker 1: So what does this mean. It means they're now talking
- 9:27Speaker 1: and floating and looking at these other ideas of other candidates.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And that's why you're going to start seeing more and
- 9:34Speaker 1: more of these articles. They are going to be written
- 9:36Speaker 1: and people are going to be throwing more names out
- 9:38Speaker 1: there in the coming days. And weeks because Democrats are
- 9:41Speaker 1: now truly afraid they may actually lose to Donald Trump.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Hey Ben Ferguson here and on my bucket list, I've
- 9:49Speaker 1: always wanted to go to the Holy Land Israel. We've
- 9:51Speaker 1: decided to do a trip. You can come and join
- 9:54Speaker 1: me and other listeners from around the country as we
- 9:57Speaker 1: get to go to Israel, the cradle of Judaism, Christianity,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and many of the principles that we hold dear as Americans.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You're gonna visit famous sites like the Armageddon Battlefield, Nazareth, Jericho, Jerusalem,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and you're also gonna step in the footsteps of the
- 10:11Speaker 1: biblical figures like King David and Jesus Christ. I'm gonna
- 10:14Speaker 1: meet you in Jerusalem and you can experience the city's
- 10:17Speaker 1: great sites like the Western Wall, the Temple mount Go
- 10:20Speaker 1: online right now and sign up or find out more
- 10:23Speaker 1: about this incredible bucket list experience Christianexpedition dot com slash ben.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That's Christian Expedition dot com slash ben. Or call eight
- 10:35Speaker 1: seven seven two three four three zero zero two eight
- 10:39Speaker 1: seven seven two three four three zero zero two or
- 10:42Speaker 1: Christianexpedition dot com slash ben. Now there are legitimate questions
- 10:48Speaker 1: now about the President not being at these things, and
- 10:51Speaker 1: maybe is that the White House protecting him because he's
- 10:55Speaker 1: so awkward now and he can't stay focused, he can't
- 10:59Speaker 1: keep his train of thought. A great example of this
- 11:02Speaker 1: is the White House actually turned off Joe Biden's microphone
- 11:08Speaker 1: after multiple gaffes and then he started rambling during a
- 11:12Speaker 1: press conference over in Asia. Listen carefully to the president.
- 11:16Speaker 1: You'll hear them actually turn his mic off and then
- 11:19Speaker 1: in essence play him off the stage by over riding
- 11:24Speaker 1: his mic by telling the people the press conference is
- 11:27Speaker 1: over while the president is still talking.
- 11:31Speaker 5: We talked about we talked about at the conference overall,
- 11:34Speaker 5: we talked about stability. We talked about making sure that
- 11:37Speaker 5: the third world, the excuse me, third world, the Southern
- 11:43Speaker 5: hemisphere had access to change. It had access. It wasn't
- 11:48Speaker 5: confrontational at all.
- 11:50Speaker 7: Thank everybody sends thanks everyone, thank you, thank you.
- 11:57Speaker 4: And there's your music. People are yelling at him with
- 12:08Speaker 4: every person on that with.
- 12:11Speaker 1: And then he yells back at him and his mike's
- 12:14Speaker 1: been turned off, and then he slowly walks off the
- 12:17Speaker 1: stage to that elevator music.
- 12:21Speaker 4: That's your president of the United States. America in Hanois.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The President of United States of America can't even do
- 12:26Speaker 1: his own press conference without his own team shutting it down. Now,
- 12:30Speaker 1: this is not a moment that that by the way,
- 12:33Speaker 1: the media is acting like it didn't happen. Even CNN
- 12:37Speaker 1: covered it this weekend. They were in shock by this
- 12:41Speaker 1: when they couldn't believe and they referred to it as
- 12:43Speaker 1: quote an awkward moment.
- 12:46Speaker 8: For President Biden's trip to the G twenty in India
- 12:49Speaker 8: to meet with global leaders and a visit to Vietnam
- 12:51Speaker 8: to discuss a new strategic partnership. Biden spoke at a
- 12:54Speaker 8: press conference in Vietnam on Sunday, and it ended a
- 12:57Speaker 8: little abruptly.
- 12:59Speaker 5: It wasn't confrontational at all.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Thank you everybody. This sends account press offense.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Thanks everyone, a thank you.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I love how CNN says it ended a little awkwardly.
- 13:14Speaker 4: It ended a little abruptly in Vietnam.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you think, and look, maybe that's the reason why
- 13:21Speaker 1: the President United States of America, they just pulled the plug
- 13:23Speaker 1: on everything that deals with nine to eleven because why
- 13:25Speaker 1: would you why would you want to have this guy
- 13:28Speaker 1: there if he can't even handle his own press conference.
- 13:32Speaker 4: In Hanoi.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It's very clear now that the presence cognitive decline is
- 13:37Speaker 1: going to be a campaign issue. And how do I
- 13:40Speaker 1: know this? I'll tell you that that this is the
- 13:43Speaker 1: other reason on a Navarro in the view, they went
- 13:47Speaker 1: into full White House pit bull attack mode on the
- 13:51Speaker 1: View defending Joe Biden. And this is when you know
- 13:57Speaker 1: things are starting to get bad because even the View
- 14:00Speaker 1: after she said this, went into also starting to protect
- 14:05Speaker 1: Kamwa Harris in case she somehow gets the job. Listen
- 14:09Speaker 1: to on Navarro though, claiming Joe Biden's age is a
- 14:12Speaker 1: non issue, which is clearly not what the polls are
- 14:15Speaker 1: now saying.
- 14:16Speaker 9: Like it just felt like they had come together on
- 14:17Speaker 9: messaging and we haven't seen that quick yet.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Well, look, I think this is this is what Republicans
- 14:22Speaker 3: have against Biden because this administration has really gotten a
- 14:27Speaker 3: ton of very difficult bipartisan legislation through in a divided
- 14:32Speaker 3: Congress with a very difficult Senate makeup of fifty to
- 14:35Speaker 3: fifty by part as, an Infrastructure Bill, by partisan Safe
- 14:38Speaker 3: Communities Act, first major gun legislation in decades, US Innovation
- 14:43Speaker 3: and Competition Act, bipartisan Climate, Healthcare and Tax Package, Fiscal
- 14:47Speaker 3: Responsibility Act and.
- 14:48Speaker 2: The list is long.
- 14:50Speaker 3: So what do they need to focus on? They need
- 14:51Speaker 3: to focus on the undeniable. Joe Biden is old, and
- 14:56Speaker 3: that's a narrative that's been created to cost panic in people.
- 14:59Speaker 2: And then so what that's the second part.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Of that narrative. Joe Biden is old and Kamala Harris
- 15:04Speaker 3: is unprepared. When did it go on with the rest
- 15:08Speaker 3: of that, because you know there's another party. Yeah, okay,
- 15:11Speaker 3: Joe Biden is old, but he ain't dying anytime soon.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys saw him this weekend.
- 15:15Speaker 3: He was at the g twenty one. Moment I turned
- 15:17Speaker 3: on the TV. He was in India. Then I turned
- 15:19Speaker 3: on the TV. He was in Vietnam. Then I turned
- 15:21Speaker 3: on the TV. He was giving a press conference. And
- 15:24Speaker 3: then at the end of being up for like twenty
- 15:26Speaker 3: four hours working in a completely different part of the world,
- 15:30Speaker 3: he said, you know what, I got to go to bed.
- 15:31Speaker 3: While Republicans were all pounding on the fact that the
- 15:33Speaker 3: man who had been up for thirty eight hours, I
- 15:37Speaker 3: had to go to bed just watching him on TV.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You know what I mean, this is amazing out of
- 15:43Speaker 1: our I had to go to bed just watching on TV.
- 15:45Speaker 1: By the way, if you look his actual schedule, it
- 15:47Speaker 1: was not that hard of a trip. They had more
- 15:49Speaker 1: than enough time for him to sleep in the schedule.
- 15:52Speaker 1: And they're sitting there they're like, well, you don't understand.
- 15:54Speaker 1: We saw him at different places around the world. I've
- 15:58Speaker 1: slept in between going to different countries. I've done it
- 16:00Speaker 1: quite a few times in my life. That's not an accomplishment.
- 16:03Speaker 1: The fact that they're acting like that is now some
- 16:05Speaker 1: sort of accomplishment tells you everything you need to know
- 16:08Speaker 1: about these idiots. I want to get to this other
- 16:11Speaker 1: story that I also think is very important, and it
- 16:13Speaker 1: connects back to the corruption of the Biden family and
- 16:17Speaker 1: how the democratic machine is fighting back right now.
- 16:21Speaker 4: You may have also seen this headline.
- 16:24Speaker 1: We've now learned that Georgia's Special grand Jury recommended charges
- 16:31Speaker 1: against Senator Lindsey Graham, David Purdue, and Kelly Laffler, among a.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Hell of a lot of others.
- 16:41Speaker 1: This Georgia's Special grand Jury, which was nothing more than
- 16:44Speaker 1: a political witch hunt, a hit list, an enemies list,
- 16:48Speaker 1: right decided, Yeah, we should start locking up people in
- 16:52Speaker 1: the Senate and Congress and hell anywhere else, they went
- 16:55Speaker 1: after Republican Senator Lindsay Graham, David Perdue, and Kelly Lawler.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And jury panel report released Friday shows that the recommended
- 17:05Speaker 1: charges were in connection with former President Donald Trump's August
- 17:09Speaker 1: the fourteenth indictment by the Fulton County District Attorney Fanny
- 17:13Speaker 1: Willis for allegedly attempting to challenge the twenty twenty presidential
- 17:17Speaker 1: election results. Now, the reason why I think the Fulton
- 17:22Speaker 1: County District Attorney Fanny Willis didn't charge them is because
- 17:26Speaker 1: she understood that would be too much for people to
- 17:28Speaker 1: bite off. But when you hate Donald Trump, you can
- 17:31Speaker 1: get away with it. The Special Jury panel and the
- 17:36Speaker 1: twenty eight page report that was released for revealed that
- 17:39Speaker 1: the panel recommended indictments not only against Graham, Purdue, and Lawware,
- 17:45Speaker 1: along with former Trump National security advisor Michael Flynn and
- 17:49Speaker 1: Boris Epstein, a Trump advisor. The Georgia Special Graham Jury's
- 17:54Speaker 1: fourth person who became notorious for her multiple media appearances,
- 17:59Speaker 1: including an interview on CNN where she laughed about bringing
- 18:02Speaker 1: down the former president. Willison died in nearly twenty people
- 18:06Speaker 1: but excluded Graham, Weftware, Purdue, Flynn, and Epstein. Among those
- 18:10Speaker 1: indicted were former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell. Many of them were
- 18:19Speaker 1: charged on state racketeering charges. As you know, Trump faces
- 18:23Speaker 1: thirteen counts and was charged with eighteen other lawyers, aides,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and supporters facing forty one counts collectively. Lindsey Graham United
- 18:33Speaker 1: States Center was asked today about this, like, I'm sure
- 18:38Speaker 1: he didn't know about it until this came out.
- 18:40Speaker 4: It's like, wait, what I was going to be charged?
- 18:43Speaker 4: Listen to what he said.
- 18:44Speaker 2: What do you think of the sport.
- 18:45Speaker 9: Being released today?
- 18:46Speaker 5: It's contents and what recommendation was from the Special Century you.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Know I have.
- 18:53Speaker 6: I'm very worried about the country right now. I was
- 18:56Speaker 6: the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Selection was contested
- 19:01Speaker 6: in courts and multiple states. I had to explain to
- 19:05Speaker 6: the people of South Carolina my vote had to decide
- 19:09Speaker 6: whether or not to have a hearing about the allegations
- 19:12Speaker 6: in Georgia and other places. I called around different states,
- 19:17Speaker 6: including Georgia. As a sitting United States Senator chairman of
- 19:21Speaker 6: the Judiciary Committee, I eventually certified the election in all states,
- 19:27Speaker 6: including Georgia. I didn't find any evidence of mass vote
- 19:31Speaker 6: or fraud, but I did have concerns about the mail
- 19:34Speaker 6: in ballot systems in Georgia and other places. This is
- 19:39Speaker 6: troubling for the country. We can't criminalize senators doing their
- 19:45Speaker 6: job when they have a constitutional requirement to fulfill. It
- 19:50Speaker 6: would be irresponsible for me, in my opinion, as chairman
- 19:54Speaker 6: of the committee, not to try to find out what happened.
- 19:57Speaker 6: It'd be irresponsible for me to tell the voters of
- 20:00Speaker 6: South Carolina what I did without actually trying to find
- 20:03Speaker 6: out what the right answer was.
- 20:06Speaker 4: So we're opening up Pandora's box here.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Fulton County is one of the most liberal jurisdictions in
- 20:11Speaker 6: the country. I fear this will spread that the next election,
- 20:16Speaker 6: Democrats may be on the other side of this. So
- 20:20Speaker 6: at the end of the day, nothing happened. What I
- 20:23Speaker 6: did was consistent with my job as being a United
- 20:25Speaker 6: States Senator chairman of the Judiciary Committee.
- 20:29Speaker 4: But it was just not me.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Three United States senators, we're opening up Pandora's box. I
- 20:36Speaker 6: think the system in this country is getting off the rails,
- 20:40Speaker 6: and we have to be careful not to use the
- 20:42Speaker 6: legal system.
- 20:44Speaker 4: It is getting off the rails.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I think he's absolutely right, But this is not all
- 20:49Speaker 1: the people that were, by the way, on the list
- 20:51Speaker 1: that they were coming after. Let me let you hear
- 20:53Speaker 1: what CNN said about who the grand jury wanted to charge,
- 20:57Speaker 1: because it was more than just senators.
- 21:00Speaker 7: And inside politics thirty nine names. I'm Dana Bash in Washington.
- 21:04Speaker 7: The Fulton County Special grand Jury report is out and
- 21:07Speaker 7: it begs a lot of questions. The biggest one is this,
- 21:10Speaker 7: why did District Attorney Fannie Willis decide not to prosecute
- 21:14Speaker 7: key political figures despite getting a go ahead from a
- 21:17Speaker 7: special grand jury. The names in this report read like
- 21:21Speaker 7: a who's who of Donald Trump's orbit. Some who were
- 21:24Speaker 7: indicted as part of the criminal conspiracy Rbrudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows,
- 21:28Speaker 7: and John Eastman. Now we are learning some of who
- 21:31Speaker 7: were not Cleton Mitchell, Bert Jones, who's Georgia's lieutenant governor now,
- 21:36Speaker 7: longtime Trump aid and sometimes attorney bors Epstein, former Trump
- 21:40Speaker 7: National security advisor Michael Flynn, and some who serve and
- 21:44Speaker 7: also served in the past in the United States. Senate
- 21:48Speaker 7: Lindsey Graham, David Perdue, and Kelly Leffler. Those last two
- 21:51Speaker 7: of course, of Georgia. CNN's Sarah Murray has been closely
- 21:55Speaker 7: looking over this newly released report. Sarah, what are you
- 21:58Speaker 7: seeing O?
- 22:00Speaker 9: Basically, the special grand jury felt that very many people
- 22:03Speaker 9: deserve to be indicted after they heard months of evidence
- 22:05Speaker 9: and heard from seventy five witnesses. Again, this is not
- 22:08Speaker 9: the grand jury that issued the indictments in this case.
- 22:11Speaker 9: This was a grand jury whose job was to investigate,
- 22:14Speaker 9: and they ultimately felt that thirty nine people should be indicted. Now,
- 22:18Speaker 9: the district attorney did not just take that list and
- 22:21Speaker 9: take it to a regular grand jury. What prosecutors did
- 22:24Speaker 9: is they went through this name by name and they
- 22:26Speaker 9: tried to determine do the fact support a case against
- 22:30Speaker 9: this person? Do we believe that we could put this
- 22:32Speaker 9: before the regular grand jury get an indictment and that
- 22:35Speaker 9: we have the evidence to be able to take this
- 22:37Speaker 9: person to trial and to succeed. And ultimately you see
- 22:40Speaker 9: a lot of these names fall away. Fulton County District
- 22:43Speaker 9: Attorney Fani Willis ended up indicting nineteen individuals. Eighteen of them,
- 22:48Speaker 9: including of course, former President Donald Trump, were recommended to
- 22:51Speaker 9: be indicted by the Special Purpose grand Jury. There was
- 22:54Speaker 9: another one who does not show up in that report,
- 22:56Speaker 9: Mike Roman, who the district attorney ultimately decided to bring
- 23:00Speaker 9: charges against. But I think what you're seeing is the
- 23:02Speaker 9: difference between you know, what normal folks again, just regular
- 23:05Speaker 9: people who served on a special purpose grand jury found
- 23:08Speaker 9: offensive and thought maybe illegal, versus what prosecutors felt they
- 23:12Speaker 9: could actually prove and bring to trial.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Danna, this was a list of just we want to
- 23:18Speaker 1: lock up everybody that's a conservative, including the lieutenant governor
- 23:22Speaker 1: of the state, because they were around Donald Trump.
- 23:27Speaker 4: This was an enemy's list, that's all it was.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It was an enemies list, and this enemy's list was long,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and it was well thought out. Now I do believe
- 23:42Speaker 1: that the prosecutor even understood I can't go that far,
- 23:46Speaker 1: like I can't start just locking up everybody or trying
- 23:49Speaker 1: to lock up everybody. She did a hell of a
- 23:51Speaker 1: lot of them, by the way. She went after those
- 23:53Speaker 1: very close to Donald Trump at the top. But at
- 23:56Speaker 1: the end of the day, what it was really about,
- 24:00Speaker 1: what it really seemed to be about, was just saying,
- 24:03Speaker 1: all right, everyone that's around Donald Trump, screw them, ruin
- 24:09Speaker 1: their life, right, like I mean, I mean, seriously, just
- 24:12Speaker 1: screw them. Ruin their life and get rid of them,
- 24:17Speaker 1: lock them up, and put them in prison, because they
- 24:19Speaker 1: should have known better. They should have known better than
- 24:24Speaker 1: to hang out with Donald Trump. And now we're going
- 24:27Speaker 1: to punish them for being a conservative, for supporting Trump,
- 24:31Speaker 1: for advocating for Trump, for being a part of Donald
- 24:35Speaker 1: Trump's uh you know, you know, you know world. And
- 24:39Speaker 1: by the way, this is exactly what they're hoping is
- 24:41Speaker 1: going to happen. Exactly what they hope is going to
- 24:44Speaker 1: happen this time with Donald Trump, that good men and
- 24:47Speaker 1: women are going to be too afraid to be around him,
- 24:51Speaker 1: to support him, to advise him, to talk to him,
- 24:53Speaker 1: to work to him. And I can tell you it's real.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I know people that have turned down the opportun to
- 25:00Speaker 1: work with Donald Trump because they're too afraid of the
- 25:03Speaker 1: legal liability and being in the situation that I just described.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I mean, I mean, think about Lindsey Graham.
- 25:09Speaker 1: What the hell did Lindsay Graham do nothing except for
- 25:12Speaker 1: being Trump supporter at that moment time, They're like, yeah,
- 25:14Speaker 1: screw him, all right, how many other sinners were around him? Okay,
- 25:16Speaker 1: well they were too, and they had conversations, all right, fine,
- 25:19Speaker 1: screw them too. Right, let's just indict on everybody. And
- 25:24Speaker 1: now what we understand is these grand juries. You go
- 25:26Speaker 1: to the right place and you get the right liberals,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you get the right communists. They'll indicte people and then
- 25:35Speaker 1: they'll go on TV and they'll talk about it. I played,
- 25:37Speaker 1: you may remember, I played this psycho young girl who's like,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I just love the idea of swearing in you President
- 25:45Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump, and she like is fantasizing about it.
- 25:48Speaker 1: She was talking in her interviews, like fantasizing about wanting
- 25:52Speaker 1: to put Trump in jail and to stick him before,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know, to swear him in.
- 25:58Speaker 4: That's how psycho. These people are never forget.
