- 1:31Speaker 6: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth out?
- 1:47Speaker 2: Water then.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out your baby, Uh huh. I sure will come
- 2:04Speaker 2: on and everybody you'll listen to the voice, come on
- 2:06Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show. Yep. Yeah. Sometimes all I can say, help, man,
- 2:20Speaker 2: how far I've come is really unbelievable. Shure. I finally
- 2:23Speaker 2: figured it out.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Man.
- 2:25Speaker 2: God allowed me to have the life I've had so
- 2:32Speaker 2: that I can become experienced at so many different things.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And in this experience, when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 2: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances.
- 2:47Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You know, if a person comes to me and they say, man,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I've been down and out, Okay, well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 2: that is.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I didn't I didn't have any direction, Okay, got that
- 2:56Speaker 2: been there?
- 2:58Speaker 4: Man?
- 2:58Speaker 2: At one point in time, and I just kept piering
- 3:01Speaker 2: mistake on top of mistakes. Okay, so you know, I
- 3:08Speaker 2: think what I'm trying to say to everybody is when
- 3:10Speaker 2: you're going through life and life is dealing the cards
- 3:15Speaker 2: that it deals, I want you to understand that life
- 3:18Speaker 2: deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 2: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 2: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 2: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards
- 3:51Speaker 2: is how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:55Speaker 2: to time, one more time, it's how you play them,
- 3:58Speaker 2: you know. From time to time when I'm watching TV,
- 4:01Speaker 2: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:04Speaker 2: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's really weird.
- 4:10Speaker 2: What's happened to sport? To a poker they're actually trying
- 4:14Speaker 2: to call it a sport, you know, and as to
- 4:16Speaker 2: everyday guide that doesn't have to be athletically inclined to anything.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Who has a shot of winning a title if they
- 4:25Speaker 2: play their cards right. The best poker players in the
- 4:29Speaker 2: world don't have the best hands. They just make the
- 4:34Speaker 2: best plays. I've seen guys win a hand with nine
- 4:39Speaker 2: to two in they hand that's nothing, and win the
- 4:42Speaker 2: hand because they knew the bluff, they knew the odds,
- 4:47Speaker 2: they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher than the
- 4:51Speaker 2: other person was willing to pay. They gave off the
- 4:55Speaker 2: illusion that they had something when in actuality, they had nothing.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So what I enjoy about poker and watching it is
- 5:04Speaker 2: that these people, these people here, play the hand they
- 5:10Speaker 2: dealt and it ain't always a good hand. But it
- 5:14Speaker 2: ain't whether your hand is good. And it ain't whether
- 5:16Speaker 2: you're gonna get dealt bad cards or not, because you
- 5:18Speaker 2: gonna get dealt some bad cars. Everybody ain't finna get
- 5:21Speaker 2: two bullets in their hand. You ain't finna get two
- 5:23Speaker 2: aces when you get dealt. Uh. You know, when you
- 5:26Speaker 2: play a draw poker, some of your cards gonna be nothing,
- 5:29Speaker 2: But you gotta turn that nothing into something. So when
- 5:32Speaker 2: you get dealt these cards in life, it ain't the
- 5:34Speaker 2: fact that you getting to keep getting them dealt. I
- 5:37Speaker 2: was talking with a young person yesterday and we were talking,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and we keep having the same conversation over and over
- 5:43Speaker 2: and over, and they could not understand why they were
- 5:46Speaker 2: not moving forward. But I said, you don't understand. Every
- 5:49Speaker 2: time we talk, we have the exact same conversation. It
- 5:54Speaker 2: is simply because you keep getting your cards and you
- 5:58Speaker 2: playing them the same way. See. Until you make a
- 6:01Speaker 2: conscious of the conscious decision to do something different, the
- 6:07Speaker 2: results will continue to be the same. See here's here's
- 6:14Speaker 2: here's the way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments
- 6:17Speaker 2: in life, it's how you handle the disappointments that determine
- 6:22Speaker 2: their outcome and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment,
- 6:26Speaker 2: everybody gonna lose a loved one, everybody gonna make a
- 6:28Speaker 2: bad decision, Everybody gonna end wake up one morning and
- 6:31Speaker 2: have done something they regretted. Everybody gonna get caught at
- 6:35Speaker 2: the wrong time. Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It
- 6:39Speaker 2: ain't just you. That's how you play your cards when
- 6:42Speaker 2: they get dealt to you. That determine who you are. Now,
- 6:46Speaker 2: how do I play my cards better? First of all,
- 6:48Speaker 2: it's a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the
- 6:52Speaker 2: end when it happens to you. Oh lord, woe is me? No,
- 6:57Speaker 2: everybody got your circumstance dances somewhere. It ain't old woe
- 7:02Speaker 2: as me. It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play
- 7:05Speaker 2: this out to see how God done connected this to
- 7:08Speaker 2: something else. See. Soon as a person have a setback,
- 7:11Speaker 2: what's the first thing A lot of people do. They
- 7:13Speaker 2: go straight negative. I can't see even get a break.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I can't seem to move forward. Hold on, man, do
- 7:18Speaker 2: you realize this could be connected to something? See you
- 7:22Speaker 2: got to understand, man, that this thing is all connected.
- 7:25Speaker 2: That you not having these mishaps and these spills and
- 7:28Speaker 2: accidents and falls for no reason. It's so you can
- 7:31Speaker 2: become experienced at them. So when he takes you to
- 7:34Speaker 2: the next level, when it happens again, you have no
- 7:36Speaker 2: how and how to handle it. If you keep throwing
- 7:39Speaker 2: yourself off the cliff every time something happened, you just
- 7:43Speaker 2: gonna be a cliff diver. Man, Stop tripping yourself out.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I was talking to this young person. I kept saying,
- 7:49Speaker 2: and you know what, they tried to tell me. I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: trying to stay positive. But the people around here they
- 7:55Speaker 2: just killing that.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Oh.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I see. So when you learn something, and you you
- 8:00Speaker 2: know something, you don't take ownership of it. You allow
- 8:04Speaker 2: other people to come into what you know and believe
- 8:07Speaker 2: and shake it loose from you. I don't care who
- 8:09Speaker 2: you are. You not doing me like that. Here's a deal.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I have a gift that was given to me from God.
- 8:15Speaker 2: That is the gift of comedy. That's what I've done.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I've made the bulk of my living on that skill
- 8:21Speaker 2: set Right there. There are comedians who are supposedly friends
- 8:25Speaker 2: of mine, who I've worked with, who get around in
- 8:27Speaker 2: huddles with one another and they say, man, Steve really
- 8:30Speaker 2: ain't funny. I don't see what they be laughing at.
- 8:33Speaker 2: He ain't funny to me. He wasn't the funniest king
- 8:36Speaker 2: to me. Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this conversation because
- 8:41Speaker 2: irregardless as to how you feel about me, there are
- 8:44Speaker 2: people think that I'm knocked down kill over funny. But
- 8:47Speaker 2: more importantly, I own the gift that God gave to me.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I take ownership of his blessing. Cause you don't think
- 8:55Speaker 2: it's so. You ain't taking that from me. Stop letting
- 8:58Speaker 2: people steal your joy. Stop letting people take what you're
- 9:02Speaker 2: supposed to know. Look, I'm a kind person at heart. Man,
- 9:08Speaker 2: You ain't nothing. Now you sit in here going. Man,
- 9:10Speaker 2: I guess I ain't what's your tripping for? You are
- 9:13Speaker 2: a kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop
- 9:19Speaker 2: letting things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 2: The devil is a cold player, and he got cold
- 9:25Speaker 2: players working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 2: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker. Man.
- 9:36Speaker 2: They came in here and said I was stupid. Man,
- 9:38Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 2: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When
- 9:46Speaker 2: God gives you something, blesses you with a gift, a talent,
- 9:48Speaker 2: a skill set, a mindset.
- 9:51Speaker 8: Own it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 2: I probably shouldn't have went that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. The time has come to say right
- 10:05Speaker 2: on to say thank you, appreciate it, because guess what,
- 10:08Speaker 2: he did it again another day, another opportunity, another blessing,
- 10:12Speaker 2: another gift from God. Man. Oh man, I don't see
- 10:15Speaker 2: how you can't see it like that. I just really, man,
- 10:18Speaker 2: I just really wake it up.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Woo.
- 10:22Speaker 2: That's incredible man. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, thank him.
- 10:27Speaker 2: That's all you need to do. Just show some gratitude today. Okay,
- 10:30Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shelon Strawberry calling for real Mississippi
- 10:34Speaker 2: Monica Jr. And the legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior
- 10:37Speaker 2: up with the long sleeves on. What's going on with you? Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 2: you know what's going on? Talk to this uncle about
- 10:44Speaker 2: this exercise.
- 10:44Speaker 9: When you said right down everything that you got to
- 10:46Speaker 9: be grateful folks, didn't you say it's like hard to
- 10:48Speaker 9: get the four hundred of them finds that you're grateful for.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You you're mixing messages here. The right what you're grateful
- 10:59Speaker 2: for is different from your vision board. The routine that
- 11:04Speaker 2: I start with the young men that come to my campus.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I try to get tom put four hundred things on
- 11:08Speaker 2: a piece of paper that they want. That's very, very
- 11:11Speaker 2: difficult because your mind isn't open and expanded enough at
- 11:15Speaker 2: that age to want four hundred things. You usually get
- 11:19Speaker 2: stuck around seventy five eighty. Even when you're older, your
- 11:22Speaker 2: mind gets stuck because you start thinking about what's possible
- 11:26Speaker 2: and capable and what I can afford. And that ain't
- 11:28Speaker 2: what a vision board is for, it's what you can imagine.
- 11:32Speaker 2: So those are the four hundred things. Exercise I was
- 11:34Speaker 2: talking about the other day was everybody should write down
- 11:38Speaker 2: a list of everything you're grateful for. Got everything, family, friends, relationships, business, jobs, food, clothing,
- 11:49Speaker 2: just everything you're grateful for, and then read it, go
- 11:54Speaker 2: back and read it when I wake up in the morning.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I read it because, man, if that eliminates waking up
- 12:01Speaker 2: on the wrong side of the bed, that eliminates, Man,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm off to a rough start because I start my
- 12:07Speaker 2: day off with gratitude. Because what happens is, man, is
- 12:12Speaker 2: when you start your day realizing what all you have
- 12:15Speaker 2: to be grateful for, you stop focusing on the problem. See,
- 12:20Speaker 2: so what gets us, Here's what gets us is when
- 12:23Speaker 2: we run into a problem, we start focusing on it,
- 12:26Speaker 2: and now everything is gloomy dog wrapped around that, wrapped
- 12:31Speaker 2: around that problem. When listen, if you would focus on
- 12:36Speaker 2: what you got to be grateful for, what you've accomplished,
- 12:39Speaker 2: the problem will become very minute. Because you don't have
- 12:44Speaker 2: a problem that's bigger than all God has done for you.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You just don't have one, because if you sum up
- 12:50Speaker 2: all he's done for you, it's astronomical. So this new problem,
- 12:55Speaker 2: you have to understand that this too shall pass. You're
- 12:57Speaker 2: gonna get past that too. So that's what the lists
- 13:00Speaker 2: for children. You know, I need to start over.
- 13:02Speaker 9: Then I start over because I was writing down found
- 13:06Speaker 9: the things I was trying to be grateful.
- 13:07Speaker 2: For that it was not the mission. I got it now.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I was come four hundred yeah things, Then go ahead
- 13:15Speaker 2: and find them.
- 13:17Speaker 9: Yeah, you know because when you say it sat for
- 13:18Speaker 9: that why I was stuck. Ind I got sort of Okay.
- 13:20Speaker 9: You say for fun things you won't. That's that's different
- 13:23Speaker 9: from what I am. Yeah, I got it out.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm just like I want you to put on a
- 13:28Speaker 2: long sleeve coach. You write that down.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:39Speaker 1: will hear from a nephew would run that prank back
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 14:47Speaker 6: of my car at the loose changed our head in there,
- 14:50Speaker 6: and you also to put one hundred miles on there.

- 14:54Speaker 6: don't want I till I timed you, you parked it.
- 14:57Speaker 6: And then when I came back, you want brought my
- 14:59Speaker 6: car back and I helped you. I know you to
- 15:01Speaker 6: want to put them damn miles on my car.
- 15:02Speaker 11: On man, hold on, wait, wait, hold on, hold on?
- 15:04Speaker 6: Who is this? My name is chasing man, Jason, Jason.
- 15:08Speaker 11: Why don't you get my number?
- 15:09Speaker 6: I got your number from the hotel manager. I told
- 15:12Speaker 6: him I needed a folk the Curtis who do the
- 15:14Speaker 6: ballet parker, and they gave me your number. You the
- 15:16Speaker 6: one put these miles. Man, you put a hundred miles
- 15:19Speaker 6: over there. I ain't.
- 15:19Speaker 11: Hold on, I ain't putting up miles in your car.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Man.
- 15:21Speaker 11: That's all I do is just get the cars and
- 15:23Speaker 11: park and that ship. I ain't ain't. I ain't taking
- 15:25Speaker 11: no change to nobody car, even you.
- 15:27Speaker 6: The one took my change I had. I had th D.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Jakes in there in the in the in the city player.
- 15:32Speaker 6: When I got in there, it was a bigger smiles

- 15:37Speaker 6: car man.
- 15:37Speaker 11: Man, I don't even know how to work that radio.
- 15:39Speaker 11: And there, Man, look what I probably pluck your car
- 15:43Speaker 11: because I parked a whole lot of cars, and.
- 15:45Speaker 6: I just we you can kill you.
- 15:47Speaker 11: Maybe somebody else probably took your car and drove it around.
- 15:50Speaker 6: But I don't know.
- 15:50Speaker 7: We can.
- 15:51Speaker 6: How many manager that work at the hotel and do
- 15:55Speaker 6: valet Parking. How many are my papers?
- 15:57Speaker 11: I don't working at do valet parking? But that's all
- 15:59Speaker 11: I do is parking cars. I don't tell nobody car
- 16:01Speaker 11: and driving around the town. I steal nothing from the car.
- 16:03Speaker 11: Ain't no thief.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Man, Hey, man, let me tell you something.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Man.
- 16:06Speaker 6: I know you the one put these miles on here,
- 16:08Speaker 6: you hear me, I know you was the one man
- 16:11Speaker 6: put that hold on, hold on man.
- 16:12Speaker 11: Look look look man, I'm on probation right now, right so,
- 16:15Speaker 11: I mean, it ain't got no time to be still
- 16:16Speaker 11: nothing not about nobody calls. I'm just I'm just part
- 16:19Speaker 11: time job. Man, just fucking called them, trying to take
- 16:21Speaker 11: care of me and my little girl.
- 16:22Speaker 6: That's it.
- 16:22Speaker 11: I'm telling you, if somebody did take your car and
- 16:25Speaker 11: drive it around or steal something from your car, we
- 16:27Speaker 11: can we can figure it out. You know what I'm
- 16:28Speaker 11: talking about, if you just bring the car and you
- 16:30Speaker 11: just coming and we can talk to the managers and
- 16:32Speaker 11: figure it out. But I promise you, I promise you
- 16:34Speaker 11: it wasn't me.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Man, I'm ambles you.
- 16:35Speaker 11: If you should just now live it, you know, we'll
- 16:37Speaker 11: find out what happened with your car.
- 16:38Speaker 6: You would the one did it? Man? You the one
- 16:40Speaker 6: put the hundred miles on my car. You had that
- 16:43Speaker 6: red bas song, you had that name tag Steve Curtis.
- 16:46Speaker 6: You pulled off in and you pulled back up in.
- 16:48Speaker 6: You the only one told me you.
- 16:50Speaker 7: Wins the what Hey man?
- 16:52Speaker 11: Hey, Loia bush a little.
- 16:54Speaker 7: Bit, man, hold on, I can't.
- 16:54Speaker 11: I can't hear you.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Nah, I know you can hear me. You're gonna hear
- 16:57Speaker 6: me when I get in here. So you gonna hear
- 16:59Speaker 6: me when I do that telling me, I said, you
- 17:02Speaker 6: gonna hear me when I get in your because you
- 17:05Speaker 6: put that hundred miles on it. I'm gonna come up
- 17:07Speaker 6: to that. Damn man, I talk.
- 17:09Speaker 11: Hey're putting one hundred miles in your car? Right? I'm
- 17:11Speaker 11: just hey, man, you know what. I just scared nothing
- 17:14Speaker 11: from your car. Ain't putting a hundred miles or your car, right.
- 17:17Speaker 11: I told you I'm on probation right now. Now, that's
- 17:19Speaker 11: what I do. I go to work, I talk to
- 17:21Speaker 11: these cars, and I'm coming home and take care of
- 17:23Speaker 11: me in my galler, right. I ain't putting one hundred
- 17:25Speaker 11: miles on your car. Man, I ain't take your car.
- 17:28Speaker 11: That's all I did was tow your car talking man,
- 17:30Speaker 11: that shit on.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Now, that ain't what you did. Where do you want
- 17:32Speaker 6: to losing nothing? They lose change out of now and
- 17:35Speaker 6: y'a also put one hundred miles. It was like one
- 17:37Speaker 6: hundred and four miles extra on that car when I
- 17:40Speaker 6: got back there. Let me tell you something, man, I'm
- 17:42Speaker 6: gonna come up. Where do you work again? When do
- 17:44Speaker 6: you work tomorrow? I worked tomorrow night. What time do
- 17:47Speaker 6: you get there?
- 17:49Speaker 11: I'll be at six o'clock.
- 17:50Speaker 6: Okay, I'm coming up there five forty five. And guess what,
- 17:54Speaker 6: mister Curtis, I'm gonna deal with your little by myself.
- 17:58Speaker 11: Man, No, come fo up to that job. That job
- 18:02Speaker 11: is you do. Bring it up to the job. What
- 18:05Speaker 11: can I call?
- 18:06Speaker 7: You?

- 24:12Speaker 1: gets so upset if I come home from a long
- 24:14Speaker 1: day's work and take a shower and get into bed.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Some days I've already eaten and I just want to rest.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Why do I always have to be up to something
- 24:23Speaker 1: or acting weird? If I want to relax and unwine.
- 24:28Speaker 2: For bruh, come home none, you've been at the been
- 24:31Speaker 2: gone a home day. You come right in and immediately
- 24:36Speaker 2: wash off. What they're thinking is evidence. See that's what
- 24:42Speaker 2: a woman is thinking.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Though.
- 24:44Speaker 2: You want right in the house, jump in the shower,
- 24:50Speaker 2: wrist off all traces of anything, and go right to bed.
- 24:56Speaker 6: Meeting.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I don't really know too many people that do that.
- 25:00Speaker 2: You ain't going down, You ain't gonna eat, You ain't
- 25:02Speaker 2: gonna watch no TV. You ain't gonna check, you ain't
- 25:05Speaker 2: gonna sit in the office, look at your mail. You
- 25:07Speaker 2: ain't go in the backyard.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Wait, he said, he already ate though, you.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Go to bed.
- 25:19Speaker 1: His wife.
- 25:20Speaker 2: See, bro, that's that's suspicious behavior, yes, sir, And nothing
- 25:26Speaker 2: I can do to get you out of that. You
- 25:27Speaker 2: have got to quit that.
- 25:33Speaker 1: She's been at the stove cooking dinner and stuff, and
- 25:36Speaker 1: you come right in.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Time.
- 25:41Speaker 11: Girl.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Let me well, let me jump in the shot, get
- 25:44Speaker 2: in his bed, donna touch me? Already hate already, I hate,
- 25:53Speaker 2: I ain't so I hate so Bro I was I
- 25:56Speaker 2: hate I was where I was? Who I who?
- 26:04Speaker 1: He wore a fool and tire.
- 26:08Speaker 2: You're all full tide of sleeper air air. I state, God,
- 26:12Speaker 2: let me let me get on the half, let me boy,
- 26:17Speaker 2: let me wash all this off for me. I've been
- 26:19Speaker 2: in here, girl, if you the only been there.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Not a good look. Yeah, all right. Moving on to
- 26:28Speaker 1: Dwhite in Philly. Dwight rights, I'm a professional side dude,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and I don't want to be in a relationship because
- 26:34Speaker 1: women are too much pressure. I am get this. I
- 26:38Speaker 1: am fifty eight and my married friends fifty eight. A
- 26:43Speaker 1: professional side dude. Come on, I'm fifty eight. My married
- 26:47Speaker 1: friends say that I'm missing out on the purpose of
- 26:49Speaker 1: being in a good, healthy relationship. What are those perks?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Well you are, dog. Well, we're not gonna be able
- 26:57Speaker 2: to explain it to you because you're a fifty eight year.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Old side professional.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you ain't gonna make a commitment no matter what
- 27:05Speaker 2: you say. You're a professional side dude because you don't
- 27:13Speaker 2: want nothing, You have nothing to offer, and you're not
- 27:18Speaker 2: fit to commit.
- 27:19Speaker 5: So what what you mean?
- 27:21Speaker 2: What are the purpose? Have someone you love to go
- 27:26Speaker 2: home building a future together? But hell, your damn future
- 27:29Speaker 2: damn near over. You're fifty eighth.
- 27:32Speaker 1: He said, he's done with relationships because women are too
- 27:36Speaker 1: much pressure.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah, women pressure dog, What you think this is? See?
- 27:44Speaker 2: That's what see. Now that's the problem for women because
- 27:47Speaker 2: when you run into men who have that mindset, women
- 27:51Speaker 2: are too much pressure. Now what you think this is?
- 27:55Speaker 2: It's called life and they are living it. Yeah, And
- 28:01Speaker 2: with life comes pressure. And the older you get, the
- 28:06Speaker 2: more the pressure. It's just you get better at handling it.
- 28:12Speaker 2: But you ain't done that because you've been a professional
- 28:15Speaker 2: side piece. That's you ain't ever wanted to be the
- 28:20Speaker 2: main dish dog. You're just cool with being corn. Yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 2: alright with being you know, the mass potato.
- 28:32Speaker 6: You you have?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Really, if you live for massed potatoes, it's because you've
- 28:36Speaker 2: never had real ones before. Get a box of potato buds,
- 28:43Speaker 2: remember them. So, I mean, it's a lot of perks
- 28:49Speaker 2: to be in with the right person. You're building something.
- 28:53Speaker 2: You got something, You got a partner, you got love
- 28:56Speaker 2: talk to yeah, love man. You get a family. Yep,
- 29:04Speaker 2: you get a chance to say you're building something. You're responsible.
- 29:11Speaker 9: You're gonna leed one at fifty eight.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yea kayuna and uh cayunda And Montgomery says, I drop
- 29:21Speaker 1: my husband off at the barbershop, and when I went
- 29:23Speaker 1: back to get him he was sitting in a car
- 29:25Speaker 1: with a female. He jumped out of the car and
- 29:28Speaker 1: said he was buying weed from her, but he got
- 29:30Speaker 1: scared when he saw me. The girl drove off as
- 29:33Speaker 1: soon as he got out. Do females sell weed? Or
- 29:36Speaker 1: is he he be lying.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Weed? I'll tell you right now. Yeah, you gotta watch
- 29:44Speaker 2: forty eight hours female sell weed and shooting at you too.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It women over fold you. Yes, women sell weed. That's
- 29:55Speaker 2: a dumb and asked question. He jumped because he saw you.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Do women say a weed? That shouldn't even be your question?
- 30:02Speaker 2: Why was his answering that call?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Uh uh yeah, huh? All right, Colo, I'm jay.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Right now you can buy the weed in the bob shop.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I can tell you that. Right now. You have to
- 30:13Speaker 2: get out your shell. They slide right up under that cape.
- 30:17Speaker 1: At the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
- 30:19Speaker 1: news for you right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy
- 30:23Speaker 1: Morning Show. Nick Cannon has come out as someone diagnosed
- 30:29Speaker 1: with narcissistic personality disorder. He opened up to People magazine
- 30:35Speaker 1: about his mental health journey. He says, quote, I still
- 30:38Speaker 1: don't understand it all the way, but I kind of
- 30:40Speaker 1: always wanted to get tested for it. Nick first publicly
- 30:43Speaker 1: spoke on the diagnosis earlier last month on his Council
- 30:46Speaker 1: Culture podcast, where he told psychologists doctor Cheyenne Bryant that
- 30:51Speaker 1: he had been quote quite clinically diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Nick, what sent me? What does that mean?
- 30:59Speaker 1: It's like self absorption? You know you it's the It's
- 31:04Speaker 1: it's the when you love yourself so much. You're a
- 31:07Speaker 1: trump maniac's tump. Yeah, all of that. You know, you
- 31:11Speaker 1: just love yourself, your whole everything. You just you know,
- 31:16Speaker 1: you want to talk about yourself all the time. Yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 1: it's just right, that's it.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Do you know that I can go two days without
- 31:26Speaker 2: looking in the mirror when I'm not working on TV.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So you're saying you're not a nurse.
- 31:31Speaker 9: I know.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I don't believe it.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It's a mental illness.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Like okay, Like okay, I'll show you hows asked questions?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Ask me a question, share to watch.
- 31:42Speaker 6: How some.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Oh, hey, Steve, how you doing today?
- 31:47Speaker 2: I'm always doing good? How I look.
- 31:55Speaker 7: In you?
- 31:57Speaker 3: You look fine?
- 31:58Speaker 1: You look fine?
- 31:59Speaker 2: What have you been doing?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Are you doing anything?
- 32:01Speaker 2: They've been finding my whole life anyway, as a matter
- 32:10Speaker 2: of fact, I think I'm Tommy. Go ahead, that's I
- 32:17Speaker 2: I find I think I am.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 1: So Nick Nick says he identifies with nearly all the
- 32:28Speaker 1: markers for the disorder, saying he's taking all the power
- 32:31Speaker 1: away from the term narcissistem because I've researched it and
- 32:35Speaker 1: I understand it.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Call me whatever, you this is not an interesting story.
- 32:38Speaker 2: You have something else?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Oh you don't like this. It's interesting for the narcissists
- 32:43Speaker 1: out there, but they can get help.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Don't want him?
- 32:50Speaker 1: I know this how and you know this how.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Interesting?
- 32:57Speaker 2: You don't want you?
- 33:00Speaker 1: Can we move home?
- 33:02Speaker 6: Yes?
- 33:03Speaker 1: All right?
- 33:03Speaker 3: Here go.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Have a couple on the show We see all right?
- 33:09Speaker 1: And other entertainment news. A big night for you, Steve.
- 33:13Speaker 1: It's your mentoring camp Father figures documentary. It'll air on
- 33:17Speaker 1: Doctor Phil Prime Time. The documentary showcases your mentorship program
- 33:21Speaker 1: and specifically this year's camp for two hundred and fifty
- 33:24Speaker 1: fatherless young men at your Georgia ranch.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Are You Special? Is going to be great? I hope
- 33:30Speaker 2: I haven't seen it, of course, it will be my
- 33:32Speaker 2: first time watching it. But Doctor Field came towatch this summer.
- 33:37Speaker 2: This summer, this summer that summer. Oh Father Day Week
- 33:42Speaker 2: this past summer is when.
- 33:44Speaker 1: We whole before the speech.
- 33:48Speaker 2: This was before to rally at Madison Square God uhh
- 33:52Speaker 2: where he unloaded Lord.
- 33:57Speaker 10: And I.
- 33:59Speaker 7: Will.
- 34:00Speaker 2: It's really tossing whether I wanted to let this air
- 34:02Speaker 2: or not, but I decided I have to because it's
- 34:06Speaker 2: it's for the benefit of these young people whose lives
- 34:09Speaker 2: we're trying to change, and we're trying to raise money
- 34:12Speaker 2: and awareness to this campaign. Man, so I can build.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I'm trying to build the buildings on this ranch to
- 34:19Speaker 2: complete it in everything, because right now, I throw it
- 34:21Speaker 2: every year I got to use. I'm using facilities. I've
- 34:24Speaker 2: rent tents, I rent bathrooms, showers, the VIP tents and
- 34:29Speaker 2: showers where you can flush bathrooms. I don't have any
- 34:32Speaker 2: little stuff. You see a construction site. Boys have really
- 34:36Speaker 2: girls have really great facilities. And so that's what this
- 34:39Speaker 2: hold and it's gonna highlight the work that we've been
- 34:42Speaker 2: putting in for fifteen years.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Right people know that you're doing it, but they don't know.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Huge success stories. There's a little boy on here who
- 34:53Speaker 2: came to my camp years ago and was failing at school.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I asked him one question if you could be anything
- 35:01Speaker 2: you wanted to be. What would you be? He said,
- 35:03Speaker 2: I want to be a pilot. I called a buddy
- 35:05Speaker 2: of mine that's a pilot, had him come down. But
- 35:07Speaker 2: then he told the kid, in order to be a pilot,
- 35:09Speaker 2: you got to be good at math and science. The
- 35:11Speaker 2: kid went back to school and found out that his
- 35:14Speaker 2: dream was tied to schoolwork. He got good at math
- 35:17Speaker 2: and science this year at the camp, and we have
- 35:21Speaker 2: the footage the young man flew a plane to the
- 35:25Speaker 2: camp and landed at the private airstrip to a mile
- 35:30Speaker 2: from my camp.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Wow wow, and came to.
- 35:33Speaker 2: The camp as one of the speakers. This young boy
- 35:37Speaker 2: is a pilot today. That's big. Wow, that's big.
- 35:40Speaker 1: And those were the types of things that you do
- 35:43Speaker 1: every summer at the camp.
- 35:44Speaker 2: And that's why doctor Field came down there to highlight it. Now,
- 35:47Speaker 2: what happened in November at the rally, I didn't have
- 35:52Speaker 2: nothing to do with that. I was sitting there with
- 35:55Speaker 2: my mouth open, just like y'all. Don't even sweat it.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Franklin and Cam Newton also came down.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But that ain't what they're gonna talk about that. Oh,
- 36:08Speaker 2: they ain't gonna talk about the little boy that flew
- 36:09Speaker 2: the plane here. They ain't gonna talk about all again, speakers.
- 36:12Speaker 2: They ain't gonna talk about the night fifteen years of
- 36:15Speaker 2: change a lot. Why he in there with Doctor Phield? Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 2: because damn it, I didn't know.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Well anyway, it's called Father Figures, Doctor Phil and Steve
- 36:27Speaker 1: Harvey at premieres tonight eight pm, seven pm tonight on
- 36:30Speaker 1: Doctor Phil's Yeah tonight, Merit TV. Okay, you can search
- 36:34Speaker 1: for Merit TV in your area or stream it for
- 36:37Speaker 1: free on Merit Plus.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Did y'all do me one favorite? Just counter some of
- 36:41Speaker 2: the hate. Just counter it?
- 36:46Speaker 1: Yeah, just counter Okay, what about that?

- 37:46Speaker 1: Details and trending political news. President Joe Biden has pardoned
- 37:51Speaker 1: his son Hunter Hunter Biden pleaded guilty in June. This
- 37:55Speaker 1: was back in June to three weapons charges, most notably
- 37:59Speaker 1: live on his federal firearms application and saying he wasn't
- 38:03Speaker 1: addicted to drugs. He also pleaded guilty in September to
- 38:06Speaker 1: nine tax related charges. President Biden said, quote from the
- 38:10Speaker 1: day I took office, I said I would not interfere
- 38:13Speaker 1: with the Justice Department's decision making, and I kept my word,
- 38:16Speaker 1: even as I have watched my son being selectively and
- 38:19Speaker 1: unfairly prosecuted. No reasonable person who looks at the facts
- 38:24Speaker 1: of Hunter's cases can reach any other conclusion that Hunter
- 38:28Speaker 1: was singled out only because he is my son, and
- 38:32Speaker 1: that is wrong. President like Donald Trump, meanwhile, reacted on
- 38:36Speaker 1: true social writing in part such an abuse and miscarriage
- 38:40Speaker 1: of justice exclamation mark, Please come on?
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yeah, do you know how many people uh Trump pardoned
- 38:48Speaker 2: when he was in office and watched this when he
- 38:51Speaker 2: gets in office, watch the people he gonna part everybody
- 38:56Speaker 2: else at dead rally.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Nor tried to overthrow the United States.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Okay, but let me say this though, I am really
- 39:09Speaker 2: ticked off at the number of people who are coming
- 39:13Speaker 2: out criticizing Joe Biden from doing this. Democrats podcast show host.
- 39:19Speaker 2: If it was your damn son, question, how you not
- 39:26Speaker 2: and you have the power to keep your son free?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 39:30Speaker 10: Man?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Anybody that's a parent, if you're a parent and you don't,
- 39:34Speaker 2: if you don't pardon your son, it's something wrong with
- 39:37Speaker 2: you as a parent. I don't even understand that you
- 39:40Speaker 2: have nobody he didn't know he's been sober for five
- 39:47Speaker 2: to seven years. He had a drug problem. My son,
- 39:54Speaker 2: my son twenty seven. I didn't pardon his ass fifteen
- 39:57Speaker 2: damn my damnself.
- 40:00Speaker 1: The president, myn.
- 40:04Speaker 2: I pardoned people for doing stuff to me. One of
- 40:08Speaker 2: my boys. He got a show he talking about he
- 40:11Speaker 2: disappointed in Biden And yeah, Donald Trump. If you don't
- 40:17Speaker 2: think Donald Trump would pardon one of his sons. You
- 40:19Speaker 2: gotta be out your rabbit and on mine. I'm gonna
- 40:22Speaker 2: tell you right now, Steve Harden, I don't give a damn.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I got three boys. I'll give a damn what they did.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I pardon. I wouldn't give a damn what they did. Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 2: if I got the power to pardon them and they
- 40:33Speaker 2: ain't got to go to jail. Yeah, but that car.
- 40:37Speaker 1: People were saying President Biden lied because he kept saying
- 40:41Speaker 1: he wasn't going to interfere, and no, he changed his
- 40:45Speaker 1: mind about that.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Trump Trump ain't never lying to lie? How many lies
- 40:51Speaker 2: Trump that told?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I got real lined man. Yeah, all right,
- 40:56Speaker 1: coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, what
- 40:59Speaker 1: old argument do you or your significant others still bring
- 41:02Speaker 1: up to this day. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 41:06Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, you know, guys,
- 41:13Speaker 1: every couple has that one or maybe two really big
- 41:18Speaker 1: fights that never fully go away. You say you're over
- 41:21Speaker 1: it and all that, but they never fully are done. Okay, Like,
- 41:25Speaker 1: for instance, the story we found on Reddit of a
- 41:28Speaker 1: man who said he complimented a waitress on her short
- 41:31Speaker 1: haircut in front of his wife, and over a year later,
- 41:35Speaker 1: a whole year later, his wife still makes him feel
- 41:38Speaker 1: bad about it. Okay, now, according to the story, she
- 41:42Speaker 1: offers to go get her hair cut short if it
- 41:45Speaker 1: would make him happy. Oh, you like her so much?
- 41:50Speaker 1: How about if I go get my hair yeah? One.
- 41:58Speaker 1: So here's a question, guys, do you have an argument
- 42:01Speaker 1: in your relationship? I know you do, Steve. That never
- 42:04Speaker 1: really goes away, and one of you will bring it
- 42:07Speaker 1: up from time to time.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, said damn air condition that night.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that was what happens.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It's too damn cold in here, that's what you said
- 42:21Speaker 2: on me and bundle and be warm when I'm bald headed.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Damn it. You know how many times I have had
- 42:26Speaker 2: to sleep in a hoodie. I just couldn't take it
- 42:30Speaker 2: no more. Let me share with you in case those
- 42:34Speaker 2: of you who are not bald headed, what it feels
- 42:37Speaker 2: like when the room is cold and there's a vent
- 42:39Speaker 2: blowing over your head. It's like someone has licked the
- 42:45Speaker 2: top of your head and it's not blowing on it.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Oh that's what they feel like.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is a recurring argument.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Well, she's not gonna turn the temperature.
- 42:59Speaker 1: That's right, don't you, junior.
- 43:07Speaker 2: That always happened. Ain't my fault.
- 43:09Speaker 9: I ain't saying nothing. But they was in the bathroom
- 43:11Speaker 9: talking about me in the show and one girl said
- 43:13Speaker 9: I was cute and she happened to be in there.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Now I don't even know this is going on.
- 43:16Speaker 9: Saint got what was this?
- 43:18Speaker 7: That was this?
- 43:19Speaker 6: Oh?
- 43:19Speaker 9: This was about this was impossible five years ago?
- 43:23Speaker 2: No, I said where he said they were call? But
- 43:26Speaker 2: take to take that tone of you. But when was this?
- 43:30Speaker 2: I said, where?
- 43:32Speaker 6: Where was it?
- 43:33Speaker 2: You cute? Okay, let me do it over.
- 43:35Speaker 6: Where was this?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Junior? She went to the bathroom, said, junior, kind of cute?
- 43:41Speaker 2: That ain't funny too?
- 43:42Speaker 9: And then when I get back in the car, she says, so,
- 43:44Speaker 9: so you're cute and funny?
- 43:45Speaker 2: H Did she heard somebody say it at the bathroom
- 43:51Speaker 2: at a show?
- 43:52Speaker 3: At a show?
- 43:54Speaker 2: Funny you have funnunny now? Okay? And I could say,
- 43:58Speaker 2: I said, I don't know what you said. They talked
- 44:00Speaker 2: about it in the bathroom. It's my fault you not
- 44:07Speaker 2: ford it for being cute and funny.
- 44:11Speaker 9: And I don't know about the que part, but the
- 44:12Speaker 9: funny that was good, But the cute, the funnies. What
- 44:14Speaker 9: I got I'm sing my ugly ass. If you're confused,
- 44:20Speaker 9: I know, but.
- 44:23Speaker 2: You have turned the rear view mirror down.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but did you think about it later?
- 44:29Speaker 9: She said no, No, she don't bring them time time,
- 44:31Speaker 9: Just like that time. I was in that bathroom telling everybody.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Mine is is me, I'm the one that keep bringing
- 44:42Speaker 2: something back up, and it's a it's me, it's me, And.
- 44:46Speaker 10: It's always around tax, tax. It's always around tax when
- 44:49Speaker 10: we find in tax. Because years ago, when we ain't

- 44:59Speaker 10: student loan. And I had ten grand coming most money
- 45:04Speaker 10: I ever had coming back in Texas. Had ten grand.
- 45:07Speaker 10: They took the whole damn ten grand and put it

- 45:42Speaker 2: on the way back when you used to walk to

- 56:36Speaker 1: I've been married for sixteen years and we've run into
- 56:39Speaker 1: some problems. That started about six months ago when my
- 56:42Speaker 1: husband experienced ED. I had gone for four months without sex,
- 56:47Speaker 1: so I talked to my doctor about it because my
- 56:50Speaker 1: husband is too stubborn to go to his doctor. My
- 56:53Speaker 1: primary care physician is a young black man that's new
- 56:58Speaker 1: in town. He's engaged, but its fiance does not live
- 57:02Speaker 1: in our city. I told my doctor that my stress
- 57:05Speaker 1: and high blood pressure was coming from a lack of sex,
- 57:08Speaker 1: so he gave me some samples for my husband to
- 57:11Speaker 1: try to make his man parts work instead of trying
- 57:15Speaker 1: the pills. My husband threw the pills at me and
- 57:18Speaker 1: said he didn't need them. I went back to my
- 57:21Speaker 1: doctor for a follow up appointment for my high blood
- 57:24Speaker 1: pressure and I wore a flowy dress with no underwear on.
- 57:29Speaker 1: My doctor said he liked the way my booty was
- 57:31Speaker 1: moving around in the dress, and he said he could
- 57:34Speaker 1: tell I wasn't wearing underwear. He told me that he
- 57:37Speaker 1: had a quick way to help me relieve stress, but
- 57:40Speaker 1: I would have to go to his office to get it.
- 57:44Speaker 1: We ended up having sex on a rug in front
- 57:46Speaker 1: of his desk, and boy, does this young man have
- 57:49Speaker 1: a lot of stamina. He jokingly said, my blood pressure
- 57:54Speaker 1: should be fine for a week, but I should come
- 57:57Speaker 1: back if I needed more help. I've had to see
- 58:00Speaker 1: him eight more times since our first time. But here's
- 58:04Speaker 1: my issue. I am tired of him talking about his fiance.
- 58:09Speaker 1: He mentions her before and after sex. Today he said
- 58:14Speaker 1: that he loved her so much that if she was
- 58:16Speaker 1: in town with him, he would never have sex with me.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I don't believe that because he makes love to me
- 58:23Speaker 1: like he's falling for me. Is he trying to convince
- 58:26Speaker 1: himself that it's just sex with me and him. Don't
- 58:30Speaker 1: project your feelings onto him. If he's just having sex
- 58:35Speaker 1: with you and nothing else, that's all it is, is
- 58:37Speaker 1: just sex, then yes, it's just sex with you and him.
- 58:41Speaker 1: You're a convenience side piece period. He's really in love
- 58:44Speaker 1: with his fiance, but she's not there, so he's using
- 58:48Speaker 1: you to fill that void. But worse than that, he's
- 58:53Speaker 1: all kinds of wrong. As your doctor, he's not supposed
- 58:57Speaker 1: to be having sex with his current patience. He could
- 58:59Speaker 1: get so dude for unethical, unprofessional behavior. He even gave
- 59:04Speaker 1: you some pills for your husband without even seeing your husband.
- 59:09Speaker 1: What kind of doctor does this?
- 59:10Speaker 3: I mean?
- 59:11Speaker 1: Meanwhile, you were still married to the bitter man with
- 59:14Speaker 1: the problem with ED. You're gonna have to put yourself
- 59:17Speaker 1: first these days and figure out what's best for you
- 59:19Speaker 1: and what's gonna make you happy. And please don't start
- 59:23Speaker 1: picturing a future with this doctor. You knew he had
- 59:26Speaker 1: a fiance before you started sleeping with him.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Steve, he solved the problem. Sound like a whole lot
- 59:34Speaker 2: of new problems to me. You know, let's let me
- 59:38Speaker 2: go through to that. I've been married sixteen years. We
- 59:40Speaker 2: ran into some problems six months ago. Her husband experienced
- 59:44Speaker 2: some ED. That's a rectile dysfunction, Suy. I had gone
- 59:50Speaker 2: four months without sex. So because my husband, I talked
- 59:56Speaker 2: to my doctor about it. Because my husband is too stubborn,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: he got to lose that attitude. This ain't the time
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: to be stubborn. Boy. They got fixes for all this
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: stuff now. Uh, And my primary care physician is a
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: young black man that's a new in town. And gauge
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: your fiance, but she don't live in our city. Right
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: after she wrote that note, that line right there, I
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: knew was finna be a problem because what business is
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: of her? She got a fiance, but she don't live
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: in our city like she not here with us. I
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: told my doctor my stress and blood pressure was coming
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: from a lack of sex, so he gave me some
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: samples for my husband to try to make his man
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: parts work. Now, Shirley says, what kind of doctor does this?
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Don't worry about that, you just get these pills they
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: hide instead of trying the pills. My husband threw the
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: pills at me and say he ain't need them. What boy,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you know what your pills costs. You don't throw them
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: down pills away? You better get it, you bet, boy?
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You been getting them pills out that shared carpet like
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: his crack. Get them damn pills and get your mad
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: parts working. It's all right, what is you throwing them? Fall? Anyway?
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I went back to my doctor for a follow up
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: appointment for my high blood pressure. I wore floyd dress
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: with no underwear. Well why did you do that? Because
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: you know the fiance is not in our town? And
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: my doctor said he liked the way my booty was
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: moving around in that dresses. He said I could tell
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I wasn't wearing no underwear. Fascinating dress, because a nice dress.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: It's floy You ain't got them spanks on either, it's
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: just letting it go. Yeah, I appreciate it, thank you.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: I don't even care if it's got a couple of
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: dimpless anyway. Anyway, but spanks moove all that out. But
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: it's such aggravating thing, Sank.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Hall, just are you distracted at all?
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Well, Tommy did this is Tommy no? Anyway, My booty
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: was moving around in the dress, and he said I
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: could tell I wasn't bring no on the way.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I just want to go back over, come, go back.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: My doctor said, like he said, my booty was moving
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: around in this dress, and he said he could tell
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: I wasn't weighing underwear. That really what this whole damn
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: letter about right here to me right now, because this
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: fool and took his pills and threw them all up
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: against the walls on this whole letter ridiculous. But I
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: come and moving in that dress.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your crazy response coming up
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And that was my doctor said my booty was moving round.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: He solved the problem. We'll get back then well, I'll
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: put you down. You're listening Hardy Morning Show. Not sure

- 1:03:27Speaker 1: recap today's strumberry letter subjects he solved the problem, Let's
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: go crazy?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Well, the letter called he solved the problem? What is
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: the problem? They've been married sixteen years and her husband
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: start experiencing ED, so she ain't had sex and four
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: months and she went to her doctor to talk about it.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: He's new in town, young and got a fiancee that
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: don't live in this city. You told your doctor that
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: your stress was high, and you had high stress and
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: high blood pressure was coming from a lack of sex.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: So he gave me some samples for my husband to try. Surely,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: didn't like that. What kind of doctor gives away medicine
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: and they's called sample package, surely don't. It's a gift.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: It's wonderful gift and free from pills as high as hell,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: and so anyway, if you can give the name of
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: your doctor and how your the free samples and you
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: know that's who in Jesus name. Anyway, instead of trying
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: to peels my husband through the pills at me and
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: said he didn't need them, yes, you do. You do
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: need them. You have e ed you need them pills
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: because you're throwing them far to get all their pills
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: up off that flow and start chewing every last three.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I don't go, damn, they've been in the flow. Sure
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: you gotta get the peel up out them flowing and
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: chew them because and chew them like crush him up.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: And while I'm like BC partty, get in the system quicker, Yeah,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: I know, I'd get put it on your tongue and
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: we'll get your mind right. Anyway. Anyway, I went back
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: to my doctor for a follow up appointment for my
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: high blood pressure and I wore floyd dress with no underwell.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: My doctor said he liked the way my booty was
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: moving around.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: It sound trying to fix it from last time.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I'm trying to sound more intelligent. My doctor had said
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: that he liked the way my booty was moving around
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: in the dress, and he said he could tell I
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: wasn't wearing underwear, which was my intent. That's why didn't
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: put these drawers on. Anyway, I had this thing jumping.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: I had this thing jumping, and I know how to
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: walk too. Because I walk, I put extra pressure on
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: my heels. I slammed my heel into the ground so
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: that thing do what they do. Anyway, he told me
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: he had a quick way to help me relieve stress,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: but I would have to go to his office to
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: get it. We ended up having sex on the rug
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: in the front of his desk. And boy, does this
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: young man have a lot of stamina. He jokingly said,
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: my blood pressure should be fine. It is, it really is.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: I had high blood pressure, and when I have sex
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: with high blood pressure, I don't know what happened. I
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: think my blood pressure get higher up, but it feels better.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: I have like I have higher blood pressure, but it
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: feels better that you don't know it, Like you could
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: be dying and not even know it. That's what that's
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: how good it is. Anyway, he jokingly said, my blood
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: pressure would be fine for a week, but I should
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: come back if I needed more help. Well, damn it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: I had to see him eight more time because his
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: blood pressure would just die. And I just kept going
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: back in there and then and he was putting it
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: on me. But here's my issue, now here the issue.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: You ain't got nothing. Ain't nothing wrong with on the
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: floor in front of the desk, Ain't nothing wrong with
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: your husband having the ed. Ain't nothing wrong with your
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: husband throwing them pills at you. Ain't nothing wrong with
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: your doctor noticing your booty in your dress. Here is
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: her issue. I'm tired of him talking about his fiance.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: What lady, you're married? He mentions her before and after
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: six that's because he loves her, And as a little
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: guilt going on today he said he loves her so much.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Told you today he said that loves her so much
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: that if she was in town with him, he wouldn't
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: even have sex with me. I don't believe that, because
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: he makes love to me like he's falling for me,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: that he's not making love to you, y'all doing something else.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: You know what that's called. That's what y'all doing. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: that's what y'all doing. This ain't this, ain't making a
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: lot of that. Y'all just in him, just what that
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: other thing is. And if that's what you there for,
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: then that's what you're there for. Just gonna admit to
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: everybody you love with you, anybody making loved you ain't
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: what this is. We're in the float, we're in front
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: of my desk at the office. He came here eight times,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: same thing. You ain't heard me one time tell you
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I love it. I ain't said that now, damn not one.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I ain't even like in your love you. I ain't
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: even said that. There's a lot of sounds in here,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: but I never heard me say I love you. But
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: I have told you how much I love her before
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: and after. Is he trying to convince himself that it's
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: just sex with me and him?
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: It is.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: That's what that is. It's just sex with you and him.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: He ain't trying to convince me. He's trying to let
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: you know that's all this is. Because my fiance was here.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: I wouldn't even have sex with you. You're not here.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: You know why I wore the dressed down here, which
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: with all his movement in it. Yeah, and you know,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: good in the hell will you should have wof some spanks.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: You knew that, but you didn't come in here with underwear.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: It ain't underwear the whole You need spanks underwear, don't
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: do nothing soap. Put that line in the dress and
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: mess up the whole. Look throng?

- 1:11:11Speaker 2: that's my school. But I didn't go to nothing, neither
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: one of them. So I can make comments. I'll tell you.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Let me just tell you what I think happened. What
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: do you think I don't think they can out march
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Southern Formation, Yeah, okay, but they can outstep them though.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: You know when it comes to marching information Southern strong.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Now when it comes to stepping, just out there, just
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: doing it. Jackson, oh Gramley, Oh Grammley used to be
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: the oh Grammley used. They dropped their rain coast off
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: their should.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: You up for it sounds?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I wanted to sound went to a white school. I
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: shouldn't have been down there. I'm way too black for that.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: They tried to put my ass out soon as I
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: got out. Now where your black dass? She's went to
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: a college, gave me a scholarship.
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: That's all you get to see Texas and Texas and did.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: You get said?
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: We got drove man and got drove Yeah.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: And you know what, man, it's I can't.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Stand in the school anyway. I'd be so glad when
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: they lose Texas A and there. Yeah, you're making I
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: can't go ahead, car, I.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Got a question. What happened is with the fight in
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: the flag oh Man or College?
- 1:12:44Speaker 9: Well, you know what, Michigan beat Ohio State and then uh,
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: they try to go down into the middle of the
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: field and celebrate. And then it just started right there.
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: They're not gonna let you just in a Hoio state
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: just celebrate on they feel like that, and it just.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Put the flag in the round. Yeah, plant the flag.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Up there by Cleveland, Columbus. That's one hundred and twenty
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: seven miles, a lot of hood up.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Then you gonna win the game.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: But you damn sure ain't leaving this stadium, no bus
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: or nothing.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Spars great the players.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I was like, what is crazy the police?
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Steve Roberts, All right, junior, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: the top of the hour, a man on social media
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: needs your advice, Steve. He says, my friend won't ever
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: let me pay. We're going to talk about it right
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: So Steve, this is from KG on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: KG says, I get together with my homeboy about once
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: every couple of months. He doesn't have any kids and
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: does really well and always insists upon picking up the
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: bill slash tab when we go to lunch or grab drinks.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I try to get to check sometimes, but he will
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: insist on paying. Maybe I don't do as well as
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: he does, and I have four kids, but I make
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: a good living and can certainly, of course afford to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: pay for lunch or drinks for us from time to time.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: It makes me feel a bit guilty that he always pays,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: and might make me not want to get together with
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: him as often. I don't want to make a big
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: deal of it, but I would like to make our
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: lunches a bit more equitable. How can I let him
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: know that I don't think it's cool that he never
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: lets me pay without risking making it uncomfortable for either
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: of us.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: Well, listen to me, bruh. First of all, that's just
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: a good friend to have a bro Go hey, man,
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: look I'm single. I know you married, I know you
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: got them four kids. Man, just let me get this.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I love you, bruh. This is my contribution and my
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: tribute to you for being a father, husband, a dad
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: and not know that's got to be tough because I
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: know nothing about it because I'm single, That's all he's
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: saying with that gesture, Man, let me do something for
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: you for all you do for so many people. Because
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: he know that crown you got on your head, that's
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: a heavy one. He know it because he ain't put
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: it on yet. He already know that's heavy. So that's
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: all that is. Now if you insist, you can say, hey,
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: br let me let me just holler at you for
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: a minute. Bruh. I appreciate you buying, man, but you
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: got to let me pick up this tab sometime, because man,
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: I'm just feeling some kind of way about it, man,
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: and I'm doing good enough. Man, I can afford this stuff,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: So just do just every now and then, man, bruh,
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: just let me pick up the tab now. Ain't nobody
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: gonna be uncomfortable. That ain't even an uncomfortable conversation with men.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Oh dog, I got you all right, man, go ahead.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Once he understands, well, you're not finna make it uncomfortable
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: that if men talk, men know what money is. If
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: we don't know nothing else, we know that true. And
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: that's all you got to do is do it like that, bro.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: But understand what your guy's saying to you. Is he
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: paying tribute to you? That's what he doing. And man,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: let me tell care this for.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: You man, because it's not.
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: Bro.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: He the crown you put on your head because you
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: know you you got four kids and a wife. I'm
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: single and him.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: But do men feel some kind of way though? I
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: mean he is feeling some kind of way. If a
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: man would all.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Time he pick up that bill, I'd be so proud
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: when he do that. I know that's right.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: I don't even look away.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: They've actually brought me the bill.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: I had it right down to it.
- 1:16:27Speaker 9: Man, back to my conversation. I don't know what.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: You don't never get the bill to what?
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: You know?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I did what I did junior. Them ladies on this show,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: yeah they not. They don't that bill. If they said it,
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: I've been with him. They look right at Tommy.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like.
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: At y'all.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: What yeah, yeah, bill over here.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: But yeah, they ain't bought up a PEPSI.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: You a hamburger one time from Bud Rutgers.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: You need to stop what?
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: What?
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: And wood Ruckers in l A.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Yes, I was in food.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Let me tell y'all something that would befolk two thousand
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: and five.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: It probably was four.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: I don't been here.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Well, I ain't been here, yo, Well thank you calling
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: if I didn't. Yeah, now, y'all ain't pick up the
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: tab When we were talking about a hamburger from restaurant.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Would you say we were y'all ain't pick.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Up no tab when we're at the High Ast restaurant
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: open got off.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: We were too scared. That was a haunted hotel.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Come up to the table, I said, can I get
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: another order extra because the devil eggs? Which say, especially
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: like that extra double eggs. I'm sorry, sir, but that'll
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: be extra classic line, I got egg money.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. So today is Giving Tuesday. Millions
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: of people across the world are coming together to celebrate generosity.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Whether you're volunteering, whether you're donating or spreading kindness in
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: your community, your actions can inspire others to do good
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: as well. All of us here in the Morning Show
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: give all year round. Steve as our fearless leader. You
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: know how much we love you. You lead by example,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: So can you can you just tell us why giving
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: back is so important because you do it so well?
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Well, I mean, was a Sunday school teacher and she
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: raised me one way. She says, son, God blesses you
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: to become a blessing, and that is all she ever
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: said to me. Well, I mean she said a lot
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: of stuff to me. I shouldn't say that, but she
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: preached that to me. She used to tell me. And
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I didn't get this when I was growing She said, son,
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: I don't know what it is about you, but one
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: day you're gonna grow up. You're gonna get a big
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: house up on the hill. When you get up on
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: that hill, you got to show other people how to
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: get up on the heell too. Now that I didn't understand.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: I did not understand that. But my mama would say
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: stuff to me all the time growing up, even as
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: a young boy, and finally it paid off and understood.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: And so it's important to give. God blesses you when
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: you give. You know, he blesses you. It's a blessing
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: in giving man sharing. You know, one of the things
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: on the things that you know that list we were
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: talking about earlier, Junior, about that grateful list. You know,
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: one of the things on my list, I thank God
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: for being a loaner and not a borrower. That's one
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: of the things I think you for. Okay, as hard
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: as it is, but it's a blessing.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Coming up next, we'll play around it, would you rather

- 1:22:06Speaker 2: I went in there and thought I was gonna get something,
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: and my brother drank the last glass. I cried, Yeah,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: all right? Would you rather jumped on me for being
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: a little punker ass crying over some eggs? This is
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: messed up. If you're gonna drink all the eggnog and
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: beat my hands that, it's about the worst damn relationship.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: I have my damn.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Bad day, all right? Would you rather a real or
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: fake Christmas tree? Real or fake?
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Real is off the chain if you get the right one,
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: smells good, smells.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Very nice.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Yeah real?
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: So you want real? Okay?
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: I like, well, but you know, uh huh, but you
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: know what what what that ain't gonna have over here?
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: So you will say it ain't a real Christmas tree?
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: No way?
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather white Christmas lights or multi
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: colored Christmas lights on your tree?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: White?
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: All white? White?
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Yeah, uh huh yeah? White?
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, don't want color huh. Would you rather spend
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Christmas if you were single with your ex or by yourself?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: What is y'all with you? By myself? I'd be by myself,
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: by my damn because if I'm with her, I'm gonna
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: wish out by myself. That's what the hell the divorce
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: was for.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: All right, that's today's rounded would you rather?
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Guys?

- 1:24:04Speaker 1: with the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: Kick that old mop and bucket aside? Are you ready
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: for a mop and bucket clean and half the time
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: make the swap so Swifper Power Mop. The all in

- 1:24:34Speaker 4: Get yours today and mock smarter with the Swipper Power Mop.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: All right, this day went fast. Here we are at
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: our last brick of the day as we had an
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: unto Christmas told you guys in January it was coming
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: quickly and here we are.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Steve.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, oh huh, I get up some clothing remarks today.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: I want to be encouraging. So let me just say this.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Listen to me, folks, as long as you are alive,
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: as long as God gives you breath, you have a chance.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: There is always a possibility, as long as you are
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: yet in this land of the living. Because understand something clearly.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: The reason you woke up today, the reason you will
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: continue to wake up because God ain't through with you yet.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Because God still has a reason, a purpose for you.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: And I know that's the hard part for some people
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: because you just can't find your purpose. Let me help
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: you with that a little bit. Because the saying goes
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: the two most important days of your life or the
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: day you born, in the day you discover why. The
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: why you were born is tied directly to your gift.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: Those two go hand in hand. It is the reason
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: He gave it to you. You see, God never created
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: a single soul on this earth that He did not
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: provide a gift with. Everybody got one. You are gifted.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: You just gotta stop wanting to be somebody else, and
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: you got to be who God created you to be.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Do you know that comparison is the greatest thief of joy.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: Comparison is the greatest thief of joy. It's hard to
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: be glad about who you are if you steady comparing
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: yourself to somebody else. It's hard to get on your path.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: If you keep looking at somebody else's path, it'll rob
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: you of your joy. Get in touch with who you are,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: who God created you to be. What is your gift?
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Your gift? I've said this a thousand times on this show.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: Your gift is the thing that you do the absolute
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: best with the least amount of effort. That's your God
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: given gift. And you have to stop looking at gifts
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: as running, jumping, singing, and dancing that are other gifts.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: If you fry chicken better than everybody else down at
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: that church and everybody in the neighborhood, you might be
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: gifted at frying chicken. If baking pies is your specialty
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: and you do it better than anybody else, then maybe
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: you should be somewhere just baking pies. If you do
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: have better than anybody else and everybody come to your
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: house for you to do their hair. You ought to
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: be a halfstylist. If you do lashes and eyebrows better
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: than anybody, if you cut grass better than anybody else,
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: if you work with your hands better than anybody else,
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: if you fix cars better than anybody else, if you
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: know how to work on motorcycles better than anybody else.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Have you ever thought that's your gift? If you tie
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: your gift, if you become passionate about your gift. The
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Bible says your gift will make room for you. You
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: know what that means. It'll allow you to spread out.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: It'll make a way for you. That's what that means.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: When it says your gift will make room for you,
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: it will take you down paths, it will qualify you.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: That's what your gift will do. And if you can
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: become passionate about your gift, you will discover your purpose
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: because then waking up becomes more exciting. The reason a
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: lot of people ain't excited because they not living in
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: their gift. You got a job somewhere. There ain't nothing
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: wrong with having a job. Because I made my job
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: sponsor my dreams. I made my job pay for my dreams.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: I was practicing my gift while I was on my job.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: I just didn't know it. I was so funny on
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: the assembly line. I was so entertained, and on the
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: semi line people just tell me all the time, boy,
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: you ain't got no berusiness here. Y'all be on TV somewhere.
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times I heard that,
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: And Lord have mercy, they was right. But get passionate
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: about your gift. It'll cause your waking up to be
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: even greater. I can't wait to wake up in the
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: morning because guess what I'm gonna go do my gift Now.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: My gift started out simply as comedy, That's where it started.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: But my gift was a tree trunk, and under that
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: tree trunk I have several branches that have come for that.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: And now young people today they don't even know me
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: as a comedian. You know what they know me as
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: they say, Uncle Steve is a motivational speaker because that
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: gift of being able to take information and transpose it
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: immediately into comedy. As you can listen to my voice
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: right now. I now have taken that same thing, the
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: ability to take information, and I've turned it and transposed
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: it into inspiration, so I can talk about inspiring people
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: without saying oh him, oh oh, let me think I
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: ain't got nothing to say. No, this is off the
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: top of my head because God was preparing me for this.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: He was preparing me for moments that I would have
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: a voice to become relevant, a voice to become authentic.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: And that's my gift and I'm using it. And that's
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: why I don't mind waking up in the morning. You
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: won't mind waking up in the morning if you get it,
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: if you get to working on your gift. Now, I'm
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: not saying you've got to go out and quit your
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: job like I did. I don't. Matter of fact, I
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: don't recommend that to the average person because you may
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: not have the same stuff in you that I have
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: in me. But I am saying, take the money from
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: your job and he'll responsor your dreams. Buy you some
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: more chemicals, to do more hair at your house. Take
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: your job and buy you a better alarm, or to
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: cut the grass. Take your job man and buy you
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: mo bacon applies a bigger stole. Follow your dream and
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: as long as God wakes you up is because he
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: ain't through what you know and he's got something for
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: you to receive. Have a great day to day. Talk
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: to God today, y'all.
