- 2:01Speaker 1: h huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice come off dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show. Wow man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: how good has God been to me? You know? Today?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Let me get right to it because I'm I'm kind
- 2:18Speaker 1: of feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure that's just
- 2:21Speaker 1: quite a few of you who go through the same
- 2:23Speaker 1: things today. Today was just a little tough morning for
- 2:28Speaker 1: me because I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't want to stay home a little I'd just gotten home,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know, I gotta go again, and sometimes, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:41Speaker 1: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:44Speaker 1: like doing it today. Huh. You know, I'm just talking
- 2:50Speaker 1: to those who feel this way every now and then,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I'm assuming that would be everybody, because I don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: know nobody who can just ply through this thing without
- 2:58Speaker 1: having those days. Well, what do you do when it
- 3:03Speaker 1: gets hard to stay up? What do you do when
- 3:06Speaker 1: it gets hard to be positive? What do you do
- 3:10Speaker 1: when it seems like things aren't happening for you fast
- 3:14Speaker 1: enough or in the time frame that you thought it
- 3:16Speaker 1: was going. What do you do? And the reason that
- 3:20Speaker 1: I guess I chose to speak about this this morning
- 3:23Speaker 1: is because I'm having one of those days. Because I
- 3:25Speaker 1: had one of those days yesterday. It's just a tough day.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I really can't explain. It's nothing really in particular bad happened.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's just I think the weight of all that's going
- 3:41Speaker 1: on started to feel heavy to me. And so what
- 3:47Speaker 1: do you do when you when you have days like that,
- 3:49Speaker 1: when it's hard to be positive, when it's hard to
- 3:51Speaker 1: stay up? Okay, here's what I had to start doing
- 3:55Speaker 1: this morning. Now I haven't completed it. Can I just
- 3:59Speaker 1: be real with you. Haven't completed it, but I am
- 4:03Speaker 1: processing it out because I know what to do. You know,
- 4:07Speaker 1: been there done that I didn't had that pain before,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I know what to do. You know, if I sprain
- 4:11Speaker 1: my finger, I know what to do. Now. You know
- 4:13Speaker 1: the first sprain I had, O Lord, I thought it
- 4:15Speaker 1: was broke. I thought I got me handac half. But
- 4:18Speaker 1: now if I spray my finger, I know what to do.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So since I've been in this position, in this hole
- 4:22Speaker 1: so many times before, and God has always gotten me
- 4:26Speaker 1: through it, I decided I've got to start the process today.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Want to hear are some things now I'm gonna get
- 4:33Speaker 1: to the big one last. And one of the things
- 4:36Speaker 1: I do is I remember the plan, sit down, and
- 4:42Speaker 1: I consciously think about the goals I've set. I go
- 4:46Speaker 1: over see. I've gotten mine down on an iPad so
- 4:49Speaker 1: I can pull them out anywhere I am and pull
- 4:52Speaker 1: them up. And I've got two lists that I've made.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I've got a list of things that I know I
- 4:57Speaker 1: can accomplish if I just keep working hard, and if
- 5:01Speaker 1: some couple of things just fall into place that I
- 5:04Speaker 1: can see. Then I got a list of things that
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I have a second list.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And the heading of this list is called only God
- 5:14Speaker 1: can help me Now. And on this list it's things
- 5:18Speaker 1: that I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping to
- 5:22Speaker 1: that in order for them to happen, I absolutely have
- 5:26Speaker 1: to have God's help. That's my favorite list. It's the
- 5:32Speaker 1: list that I have of the things that I don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: see no way it can happen. I'm just operating on
- 5:40Speaker 1: faith and the hope that God hear me, and so sometimes, man,
- 5:45Speaker 1: when you gotta when I have this list of who
- 5:49Speaker 1: only God can help me, now that list is stuff
- 5:52Speaker 1: that I cannot see. I'm just operating on faith that
- 5:56Speaker 1: God is so much bigger than me, that he's so
- 5:59Speaker 1: much more capable than I am, that I can actually
- 6:03Speaker 1: acquire some things in my life, as he's proven to
- 6:06Speaker 1: me time and time again up to this point, that
- 6:08Speaker 1: He's willing to do for me. If I'm willing to
- 6:10Speaker 1: just give him some of my life. That's only why
- 6:14Speaker 1: I can't explain my existence today. You know, I began
- 6:18Speaker 1: the conversation with my wife, how do I write a
- 6:21Speaker 1: book that becomes so wildly successful? That would be God.
- 6:26Speaker 1: That's only God. Because if you can plan to sit
- 6:29Speaker 1: down and write a wildly successful book, I'd have Benden
- 6:32Speaker 1: sat down and did it, and so would you. So
- 6:35Speaker 1: That would be God. How it got purchased to become
- 6:39Speaker 1: a movie when that was not my intent when I
- 6:42Speaker 1: wrote the book at all. Again, that would be God. Right,
- 6:46Speaker 1: there has to be, because if I can't explain it
- 6:50Speaker 1: and it is by no doing of my own, then
- 6:53Speaker 1: who did it? So when I get down in days
- 6:56Speaker 1: like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I remember the journey. I think about of all the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things God has bought me to how did I even
- 7:05Speaker 1: get to this point? Yeah? I might be having a
- 7:07Speaker 1: little bummer of a day. Yeah I was a little
- 7:09Speaker 1: down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms is off, whatever they
- 7:12Speaker 1: want to call it. Yeah, I'm just having one of
- 7:14Speaker 1: those days. I feel a little bit heavy. I need
- 7:17Speaker 1: a vacation real bad. I need some time off to
- 7:20Speaker 1: just go and regenerate. But right now, man, I ain't
- 7:23Speaker 1: got that. So guess what I do. I gotta start
- 7:26Speaker 1: remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: gotta start thinking about all the things that God has
- 7:32Speaker 1: done for me and he he has bought me this far,
- 7:34Speaker 1: and the blessings that I have instead of what I
- 7:37Speaker 1: don't have. And that's what I'm in the process of doing.
- 7:39Speaker 1: This morning, and on the commercial breaks, I'm gonna pull
- 7:42Speaker 1: out my iPad and I'm gonna go over my two lists,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I'm gonna read my little list of what I
- 7:47Speaker 1: think I can accomplish, and I'm gonna really read that
- 7:50Speaker 1: only God can help Me now list, because that's the
- 7:52Speaker 1: list that's big. That's the part where I've been telling y'all,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I said, quit telling God how big your problems are,
- 7:59Speaker 1: and start telling your problems how big your God is. See.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And that's why I got to sit down and do
- 8:05Speaker 1: this morning. And then sometimes, man, you got to stay still.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That's the other part. You got to stay still. You
- 8:13Speaker 1: gotta quit moving for a second, because sometimes it feel
- 8:17Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill and you really ain't
- 8:20Speaker 1: you going somewhere, but it feel like you're running on
- 8:23Speaker 1: a treadmill. Well, when you get that feeling, sometimes you
- 8:26Speaker 1: got to stay still. And then when you stay still,
- 8:30Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive. Sometimes you gotta
- 8:33Speaker 1: fight not to let the devil win. You're in a fight, mam.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I told you this. Now you're in a fight now,
- 8:38Speaker 1: So trying to get you to get on that positive
- 8:40Speaker 1: train so he can get you off the faith train.
- 8:43Speaker 1: So God's delivery package that's coming to you built on
- 8:46Speaker 1: your faith that you can. He can shake your faith
- 8:48Speaker 1: and get you to thinking negative and then he wins. See.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So when you start feeling negative, just know that that's
- 8:54Speaker 1: the other force trying to throw your off track. And
- 8:56Speaker 1: when you get through it all that He is the key,
- 8:58Speaker 1: the big one. You want me tell it. You gots
- 9:00Speaker 1: to pray, man, You got to pray. You gotta take
- 9:04Speaker 1: it to God. You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: having one of these days. I need your help. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: got business to take care of. You got blessings in
- 9:11Speaker 1: front of me. You got stuff you to ship to me.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You got blessings and packages that's on the way. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: need to be sitting on Faith streets so I can
- 9:18Speaker 1: receive the delivery when you get there. What I don't
- 9:20Speaker 1: want to do is be it on be on doubted
- 9:22Speaker 1: Way or or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway
- 9:29Speaker 1: or some street like that, and the package keep going by.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street
- 9:36Speaker 1: so when you drop that package down to me, I
- 9:38Speaker 1: can go on and get it. You feel me, You
- 9:40Speaker 1: gots to pray, You got to stay still, you gotta
- 9:43Speaker 1: fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You
- 9:46Speaker 1: gotta go over the goals. Come on, man, God and
- 9:49Speaker 1: brought you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't
- 9:55Speaker 1: mind you're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, might have your undivided attention. Please,
- 10:04Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We are live,
- 10:08Speaker 1: we are vivid, we are well. I am the leader
- 10:14Speaker 1: of a group of inherently talented people. For various reasons,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I must say, ladies and gentlemen, Shirley strong Berry, good morning,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Ladies and gentlemen, the boy junior boy, morning up,
- 10:41Speaker 1: morning everybody. And now ladies and gentlemen with our father
- 10:50Speaker 1: Adude again without father Adu, nephew tump y'r sid Ya
- 10:59Speaker 1: sid side, top of the moaning. This Wednesday, Baby, big day,
- 11:06Speaker 1: Big day to day every now. Last night on the
- 11:10Speaker 1: State of the Union, every time Donald Trump opened his
- 11:17Speaker 1: mouth and completed the sentence, they stood. And it's the
- 11:21Speaker 1: motion humiliating thing, right that I know some of the
- 11:24Speaker 1: people got to go, don't we really standing up again? Hello? Yeah?
- 11:30Speaker 1: But what's funny is one side be standing the other
- 11:33Speaker 1: side be sitting down. Yeah, so it's so lopside. They
- 11:35Speaker 1: stood up again. I don't care what he says. Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 1: he's making his case for his reelection. This is the
- 11:42Speaker 1: night he will do that, or that was the night
- 11:44Speaker 1: now the Democrats was sitting there like his ass wasn't
- 11:48Speaker 1: even talking. The impeachment is not gonna work. We'd have
- 11:53Speaker 1: tried everything. He's deal Hill. I don't think Nancay ever
- 11:56Speaker 1: looked up at it. Yeah, she was sitting right behind him,
- 11:59Speaker 1: right behind you. I don't know what she was doing
- 12:03Speaker 1: with that paperwork though. Did she have his? He looked
- 12:05Speaker 1: like she had homeworkers. Yeah, she was like, we're doing
- 12:09Speaker 1: her bills him. Yeah, she hasn't gone yet. No, she
- 12:18Speaker 1: doing her bills and she's helping her grandkids with their homework.
- 12:24Speaker 1: You know where you're gonna carry the one in this
- 12:29Speaker 1: house where he wants to put it, stupid ass people
- 12:34Speaker 1: gonna change math and don't carry the one where you're
- 12:36Speaker 1: gonna have. You're gonna have too much money. It's what
- 12:39Speaker 1: you're gonna have. Pence be having a stern look on
- 12:43Speaker 1: histat Yeah, yeah he's different. We are never going back.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He said that they stood up the Democrats. Yeah, boy,
- 12:54Speaker 1: they they They flipped over the Kamala hats one time.
- 12:58Speaker 1: She looked like, I wish I would clap. I ain't
- 13:00Speaker 1: even men to run it? No, damn, Why am I clap?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Why am I here? And the Iowa Caucus, man, you know,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the Democrats, we are messing up so bad. We can't
- 13:13Speaker 1: get nothing right. But remember when Obama was in office,
- 13:18Speaker 1: you were saying the same thing about the Republicans. This
- 13:21Speaker 1: is crazy politics. What do the caucus do? All right? Listen?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we're
- 13:32Speaker 1: gonna move on here some inside of something funny. Sister
- 13:35Speaker 1: O'Dell will be in the building. I think she can
- 13:38Speaker 1: break a lot of things down for us. That's coming
- 13:41Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening, all right, So guys,
- 13:46Speaker 1: before we get to sister Odell, we want to remind
- 13:50Speaker 1: you that coming up next hour, we're going to talk
- 13:52Speaker 1: about again. You don't cut into my time. You know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you don't do that. A Shwedi was and trying. Now
- 14:00Speaker 1: you said when you went on the break that he
- 14:03Speaker 1: was sitting to be sister old dad coming up. Then,
- 14:06Speaker 1: the first thing you want to say is you know,
- 14:09Speaker 1: talking about you know before we brain was? She him, Well, okay,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I just wanted to say, we're gonna we were gonna
- 14:16Speaker 1: talk a little bit more about President Trump's third State
- 14:19Speaker 1: of the Union. The girl I saw that, what is
- 14:24Speaker 1: we talking? Girl? It was just it was one of
- 14:28Speaker 1: the craziest things I ever seen. You know, white folks
- 14:31Speaker 1: is evil towards one an up what he means. You know,
- 14:35Speaker 1: half of him was sitting there like he wasn't talking.
- 14:38Speaker 1: The other half was standing up like he said the
- 14:40Speaker 1: most brilliant I'd ever heard. And then Donald Trump his
- 14:45Speaker 1: isn't And he don't even look at the other side.
- 14:48Speaker 1: He kept his eyes on the Republicans the whole time.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You got Democrats over hill. But she that's the whole reason,
- 14:55Speaker 1: that's the whole problem with him being the president in
- 14:58Speaker 1: the first place, because he want to be inclusive. He
- 15:01Speaker 1: never looked over that at him. That's true. That's true
- 15:05Speaker 1: that he said because of all of this, it would
- 15:08Speaker 1: be hard to work with them moving forward. Now that
- 15:10Speaker 1: he did say that, to look at him, he just
- 15:12Speaker 1: looked out over that at a whole time. But I
- 15:18Speaker 1: did like the way to military, they don't stand up
- 15:20Speaker 1: claud for a damn what you think of happening today? Though?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Is he gonna get him? Peach nor Jesus Now, they're
- 15:27Speaker 1: not fitting to do that. White men's ain't fitting to
- 15:30Speaker 1: lose their power and money that's caused another white man
- 15:33Speaker 1: is ignorant. Ain't nobody fitting to do that? You must
- 15:37Speaker 1: ain't been in America alone with the white white man.
- 15:43Speaker 1: He's gonna let her know that white man foolishness mess
- 15:46Speaker 1: upday paper. No, No, it ain't fitting to happen, sweeten?
- 15:50Speaker 1: What else is going on? Whoa remember Herman came, sister O'Dell,
- 15:57Speaker 1: he was at the thing last night. He was he
- 16:01Speaker 1: was at the State of the Union address. I was
- 16:04Speaker 1: uh huh, well, you know he ran at one time,
- 16:07Speaker 1: he was vying for the presidency of the United States
- 16:10Speaker 1: as well. But he dropped out, and I was just wondering,
- 16:13Speaker 1: did you know him or I knew he was daddy?
- 16:18Speaker 1: Oh really, Herman Kane's daddy? Who was Herman Kane? Daddy?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Hug him? Look you got me with mister mister sugar Kane. Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 1: how did you meet him, sister Odell? Mister sugar Yane. Well,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know he was all working at a at a club.
- 16:47Speaker 1: You know, we had a jig joint that we would
- 16:50Speaker 1: go too late at night some time, and he was
- 16:53Speaker 1: an all performer after our performer. Oh okay, and his name,
- 16:59Speaker 1: his name was Herman Cane singing oh oh so sugar
- 17:04Speaker 1: wasn't like a nickname. I gave that to him. Oh oh,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you gave it to You gave him that nickname. Well,
- 17:13Speaker 1: sugar Cane with the sweet thing. It is amazing the people,
- 17:26Speaker 1: you know, I know some of everyone. Did you see
- 17:31Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi sitting right behind them? You know, I likes Nancy.
- 17:35Speaker 1: She'd be shop you know, she's a shop old kid.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I likes Nancy. Nancy sitting up there, you know, it's
- 17:43Speaker 1: sort of weird though. She just kind of looked like
- 17:45Speaker 1: she wanted to stab him. No, the whole time, she
- 17:50Speaker 1: was just looking take her ice pick and probably that
- 17:53Speaker 1: in your neck that, you know. But then you know
- 17:58Speaker 1: she was he's a proff fashiona right. Yeah, she's a politician. Yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 1: there's kept it going. She kept on, you know, dog
- 18:06Speaker 1: on shame. I was waiting on him to say somewhere
- 18:09Speaker 1: everybody would stand up. He never did. That did not happen. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: if he said uh, I won't be running in November,
- 18:17Speaker 1: and maybe everybody everybody on it. All the people were
- 18:22Speaker 1: shaking their head on that other side, the women's in
- 18:26Speaker 1: white and everything. Yeah yeah, you know, yeah, so um.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I like the women in whites because they look like
- 18:33Speaker 1: the missionaries at I thought I had recognized two of them,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but oh you wasn't them. What's ceter O'Dell? Do you
- 18:44Speaker 1: have any idea of who you might give your vote
- 18:48Speaker 1: to this November? Well, as soon as one of them
- 18:50Speaker 1: say something that means makes some sense, I'm gonna start
- 18:54Speaker 1: thinking about it. Right now, I don't really know because
- 18:56Speaker 1: the Democrats is kind of you know, they're stupid now
- 19:01Speaker 1: because they got First of all, they had too many
- 19:03Speaker 1: people's running. I told y'all long time ago, who need
- 19:07Speaker 1: to come on out of that? Everybody I said, need
- 19:09Speaker 1: to come out and come out of anything. Corey got out.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Didn't say that. Comla got out. Because they're not fitting
- 19:18Speaker 1: to have a president named comic Obama. They're not fit
- 19:24Speaker 1: to have a woman named Kamala. That's what they're not
- 19:27Speaker 1: gonna do. Shit. Well, if there is, it won't be
- 19:29Speaker 1: this year. Okay, Well, let's get off politics for a minute.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Since tell huh happy Black History Month? Who? Yes, I
- 19:40Speaker 1: love this month here because I've been such a part
- 19:42Speaker 1: of it. Ask me anything and I tell you something
- 19:45Speaker 1: property that you don't know about Black Here. Let's go ahead. Uh,
- 19:54Speaker 1: we need to carry this overcause this is interesting now
- 19:56Speaker 1: that we is in the early part of h the
- 20:00Speaker 1: other black history monk. Well you know what, sister, since
- 20:04Speaker 1: you mentioned, I just saw it something. Yesterday was the
- 20:08Speaker 1: late Rosa Parks birthday. Oh that's my girl, Rose. Oh
- 20:13Speaker 1: you knew my girl. I knew Rosa really, he doubt
- 20:18Speaker 1: I never made it into history books. But I was
- 20:20Speaker 1: sitting next to her when the white man totally get
- 20:23Speaker 1: up and I said, we ain't moving. No, damn where
- 20:26Speaker 1: you was next to Rosa sitting right down? Oh that
- 20:32Speaker 1: took me off to jail because I pulled a pistol
- 20:34Speaker 1: out of my purse. I said, make me move back.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Then supposed to be non violence, yea, mar Louver King
- 20:42Speaker 1: hadn't done none yet. Okay, yeah, he ain't come on
- 20:48Speaker 1: after that, and time to do the prank, right and Nephew,
- 20:53Speaker 1: tell me we'll do run that prank back right after
- 20:55Speaker 1: this you're listening show coming up at the top of
- 21:01Speaker 1: the hour, Miss Anne is standing by with today's national
- 21:05Speaker 1: news and also inside of entertainment news. Rihanna will be
- 21:08Speaker 1: honored with the NAACP President's Award. We'll talk about that
- 21:12Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Uh. Nephew Tommy is
- 21:15Speaker 1: also here to run that prank back. But our special guest,
- 21:18Speaker 1: sister Odell, our family member, the mother of my lord.

- 24:18Speaker 1: a hurse. Actually, what's happening is is I have another
- 24:22Speaker 1: drop off at the airport as well. You know, there's
- 24:25Speaker 1: a I mean, it's it's it won't affect you at all.
- 24:27Speaker 1: There'll there'll be a body in the back, but that
- 24:29Speaker 1: has to we're trying to get that to the airport too.
- 24:32Speaker 1: But you know, like I said, and a matter of fact,
- 24:34Speaker 1: it is like body waiting the whole man, No, I
- 24:39Speaker 1: ain't body. Well, there's a I mean, there'll be a body,
- 24:44Speaker 1: but actually it's just causing you less, you know what
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. So you don't have to man, Well I'm
- 24:48Speaker 1: supposed to lay down and so what what you're talking about? Man, dude,
- 24:52Speaker 1: it'll ain't ride when the body. Hang on. Man, listen,
- 24:57Speaker 1: you wanted to suv. I'm not ride when the body. Dude,
- 25:01Speaker 1: you're tripping, cancel the trip. I'll get another over. I'm
- 25:05Speaker 1: not riding with a body. Dude, Okay, if you cancel,
- 25:07Speaker 1: that's gonna cause you fifty dollars. Fifty dollars, oh man, yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: like you. I just downloaded the here's the deal. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: know for a fact. When you cancel over just five dollars,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm canceling, that's gonna be five hours. I's gonna be
- 25:21Speaker 1: no fifty dollars. It's gonna be fifty dollars, sir, it's
- 25:25Speaker 1: a different one. You have, my man, you can pay
- 25:27Speaker 1: me a thousand dollars. I'm not riding with a quo
- 25:29Speaker 1: You feel me the understanding, You understand you now. But
- 25:33Speaker 1: do you want to get to the airport or not? Look,
- 25:35Speaker 1: why don't you lay down next to the body and
- 25:37Speaker 1: you drive yourself there with the quoity like in the
- 25:39Speaker 1: path to just see I'm not doing it. Tell me
- 25:42Speaker 1: what the problem is. I mean, obviously you're used to
- 25:45Speaker 1: driving around with bodies and that's not my thing. You
- 25:47Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. What's the problem. I mean, you're
- 25:49Speaker 1: gonna be in the front of the hurst, You're not
- 25:51Speaker 1: gonna be in the back. We'll put my bodies in
- 25:53Speaker 1: the back, put your luggage in the back. I mean,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that'll be fine, right, you're my man. You're tripping, man,
- 25:57Speaker 1: this is crazy. You're calling wrong with this crazy book. Dude.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I'm not doing none of that. What part of that?
- 26:04Speaker 1: Don't you understand. I'm going to get you there on time, sir,
- 26:08Speaker 1: but it's going to be in a hurse. That's all
- 26:11Speaker 1: the difference is. Man, You'll be riding and hurs when
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be laid out. And you understand right
- 26:16Speaker 1: now you got me fucked up? What kind of phone call?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Is this? What I mean, what's what's the problem. Obviously
- 26:23Speaker 1: you're used to rolling with with dead bodies or hearses
- 26:25Speaker 1: and all that. Since when it over start rolling with
- 26:29Speaker 1: hearses to pick up regular lot more, because to get
- 26:32Speaker 1: them from place to place. This is some crazy I
- 26:36Speaker 1: want you to think. When when did you think that
- 26:40Speaker 1: it would just be cool or as a regular picking
- 26:42Speaker 1: up a body and just driving around in the street.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I mean, you know I got
- 26:47Speaker 1: two jobs. You know what I'm saying, I do you know,
- 26:50Speaker 1: and also you know, work for a mortuary to you
- 26:53Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, so you know, but my vehicle
- 26:55Speaker 1: is is certified and approved it so I'm able to
- 26:59Speaker 1: use it as an suv. So you you calling him
- 27:02Speaker 1: is and you gave him ride a lot more and
- 27:05Speaker 1: they don't have no reaction, no reaction to riding around
- 27:10Speaker 1: with them embodying the back. Well, you know, sometimes there's
- 27:14Speaker 1: a few people acting a little, you know, a little.
- 27:16Speaker 1: It's a little different for him. I get it, you know,
- 27:19Speaker 1: But like I said, the only reason why I'm calling
- 27:21Speaker 1: you obviously you don't get that because you're trying to
- 27:24Speaker 1: hit me with a fifty dollars in charge that I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: not I'm not going for and you're trying to get
- 27:30Speaker 1: me to ride with him and that body. Dude, I'm
- 27:33Speaker 1: not doing that. So I'll tell you what, brou I'm
- 27:35Speaker 1: gonna tell you this right here. I'm gonna get all
- 27:36Speaker 1: the phone tomorrow and seven in the morning, me and
- 27:39Speaker 1: Tommy gonna be here. So be looking forward here. Who's
- 27:42Speaker 1: Timmy the body? No, No, Me and Tommy gonna be
- 27:46Speaker 1: there tomorrow morning at seven mayhem. You know what I'm saying,
- 27:48Speaker 1: just be ready for that. Then you're Timmy gonna have
- 27:51Speaker 1: a problem. Okay, okay, all right, tell it to Tommy though,
- 27:54Speaker 1: because see Tommy, don't Tommy don't take this too kindly,
- 27:57Speaker 1: So tell it to him in the morning. Who's Timmy?
- 27:59Speaker 1: He's now? Okay, you don't know who Tommy is? No,
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't what the it's Tommy? Okay, dude. You know Tommy
- 28:07Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Do you know, nephew Tommy? Oh,
- 28:11Speaker 1: come on, man, hey, oh man, oh man. That's hey
- 28:26Speaker 1: hey man, I no, man, your boy. You got a
- 28:30Speaker 1: boy named Chase that you work with. Chase gave me
- 28:32Speaker 1: your number, told me to get your call. Oh man, Yeah,
- 28:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna put that one in a herse. Man. Oh
- 28:46Speaker 1: hey man, you gotta give me one more thing. Man,
- 28:48Speaker 1: what is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 28:51Speaker 1: show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey man,

- 28:58Speaker 1: all right, nephew going up at the top of the hour. Yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 1: Entertainment and National. She's stood here right at her. He
- 29:11Speaker 1: crushed you out about it. You're listening to show well
- 29:19Speaker 1: in today's entertainment news. Rihanna will be honored with the

- 30:11Speaker 1: and so deserving, you know. The awards air of February
- 30:14Speaker 1: twenty second on b ET. Yeah all right, So in
- 30:19Speaker 1: other news, I'm sure you guys have heard about this
- 30:23Speaker 1: and other entertainment news, Colin Kaepernick is scratching his head
- 30:26Speaker 1: over Jay Z's and Beyonce's display of solidarity at the
- 30:32Speaker 1: Super Bowl, jay Z and Beyonce chose to remain seated
- 30:35Speaker 1: during the national anthem, though they didn't speak on the
- 30:37Speaker 1: gesture at first, and everybody was speculating that they were
- 30:41Speaker 1: protesting in all of this, but it comes to come
- 30:43Speaker 1: to find out that is not the case. Jay Z
- 30:46Speaker 1: has responded anyway. Colin Kaepernick, you know, said he shared
- 30:52Speaker 1: a picture of the story about Jay and Beyonce sit
- 30:55Speaker 1: out with the caption reading, I thought we were past kneeling.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Though that's a reference. Remember when jay Z made those
- 31:02Speaker 1: comments on September of last year, he did a press
- 31:06Speaker 1: conference and say we're past that, We're moving on. So anyway,
- 31:10Speaker 1: jay Z has responded, Okay, He says he and Beyonce
- 31:14Speaker 1: sitting through the Star Spangled banner at the Super Bowl
- 31:18Speaker 1: on Sunday was absolutely not a protest of any sort.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It was simply two moguls hard at work. Jay was
- 31:25Speaker 1: at Columbia University Tuesday. He addressed the video that TMZ
- 31:30Speaker 1: Sports first posted on Sunday showing Jay B and Blue
- 31:35Speaker 1: Ivy seated as Demilovado sang the national anthem. But let's
- 31:41Speaker 1: make this clear as well, they weren't the only people seated.
- 31:43Speaker 1: There were a lot of people. Yeah, but they're the
- 31:46Speaker 1: most famous. Columbia professor asked him if he remained seated
- 31:50Speaker 1: to convey a signal, and Jay quickly replied it actually wasn't. Sorry,
- 31:56Speaker 1: you know he and Beyonce, He said, Beyonce told him
- 32:00Speaker 1: he was thinking what Demi must have been going through
- 32:02Speaker 1: in the seconds before starting the national anthem, and as
- 32:05Speaker 1: Jay put it, Beyonce's performed at the at the super
- 32:08Speaker 1: Bowl before and I haven't. So there you have it.
- 32:11Speaker 1: His response to why Ian Bay were sitting by were
- 32:15Speaker 1: sitting down, Okay, it wasn't a big protest against the
- 32:18Speaker 1: national anthem. They weren't trying to start anything, nothing like that.
- 32:22Speaker 1: It's nothing. Yeah, it's nothing like he said. It actually
- 32:27Speaker 1: wasn't sorry nothing. Yeah, they just blowing up something. Yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 1: you guys want to make something out of it, but yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: he does, he does. A lot of people were saying,
- 32:37Speaker 1: if you don't like the country, yea, you can I
- 32:41Speaker 1: tell y'all something. Do you know how many people in
- 32:44Speaker 1: them sweets sit down when the national anthem come up?
- 32:47Speaker 1: They'd be talking. Most people don't even know it's playing
- 32:50Speaker 1: any I'm telling y'all right, now, man, there's so many
- 32:52Speaker 1: people in them sweets sitting down because they don't even
- 32:55Speaker 1: know what's going on. Ye talk right. Yeah, it took
- 33:01Speaker 1: me a minute before I realized that they was doing
- 33:03Speaker 1: a national anthem. I just happened to be standing because
- 33:07Speaker 1: I was over there making a hot thought. Yeah, so
- 33:12Speaker 1: you turned around, got right then. I just waited till
- 33:16Speaker 1: it was over for I eat it. Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 33:20Speaker 1: Time to get caught up on today's headlines. Please, ladies
- 33:24Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Miss Anne trip and here we go with
- 33:26Speaker 1: the news. Good morning, everybody. President Trump delivered to Stay
- 33:29Speaker 1: the Union's speech to a joint session of the Congress
- 33:32Speaker 1: last night. Yeah, you all know that it was mostly upbeat.
- 33:35Speaker 1: He stuck to his script. He made no reference to
- 33:37Speaker 1: his impeachment and trial. He peppered his presentation with talk
- 33:41Speaker 1: about what he feels he's done for African Americans. But
- 33:44Speaker 1: he did bestow a well earned honor on a black
- 33:47Speaker 1: American hero, Charles McGee, one of the last surviving Tuskegee airman,
- 33:53Speaker 1: the first black fighter pilots. After more than one hundred
- 33:57Speaker 1: and thirty combat missions in World Two, he came back
- 34:01Speaker 1: home to a country still struggling for civil rights, and
- 34:05Speaker 1: went on to serve America in Korea and Vietnam. A
- 34:09Speaker 1: few weeks ago, assigned a bill promoting Charles McGee to
- 34:14Speaker 1: Brigadier General General McGee. Our nation salutes you, Thank you, sir,
- 34:21Speaker 1: and Charles McGee turned one hundred. By the way, just
- 34:23Speaker 1: a few days ago. However, Trump did sound some familiar themes,
- 34:27Speaker 1: like he called Obamacare socialism and call for an end
- 34:30Speaker 1: to healthcare for people who are here illegally in California
- 34:33Speaker 1: and other states. Their systems are totally out of control,
- 34:36Speaker 1: costing taxpayers vast and unaffordable amounts of money. If forcing
- 34:41Speaker 1: American taxpayers to provide unlimited free healthcare to illegal alien
- 34:45Speaker 1: sounds fair to you, then stand with the radical left.
- 34:50Speaker 1: But if you believe that we should defend American patients
- 34:53Speaker 1: and American seniors, then stand with me and pass legislation
- 34:57Speaker 1: to prohibit free government health care for illegal aliens. By
- 35:03Speaker 1: the way, everybody's talking about the fact that Trump refused
- 35:06Speaker 1: to cordially shake how speaking Nancy Pelosi's hand as per tradition,
- 35:09Speaker 1: and begin when he came in and she ripped up
- 35:12Speaker 1: her copy of his speech as he delivered it. The
- 35:15Speaker 1: Senate's vital vote and impeachment, by the way, takes place
- 35:17Speaker 1: this afternoon at scheduled for four pm. The vote scheduled
- 35:20Speaker 1: to be a formal acquittal of the president. And now
- 35:23Speaker 1: about seventy one percent of the precincts counted in Iowa.
- 35:26Speaker 1: The top two vote getters or Bernie Sanders, who led
- 35:29Speaker 1: the popular vote, and far Meya Buddha Jedge, who got
- 35:31Speaker 1: more delegates. Buddha Jedge, of course, clearly elated campaign that
- 35:35Speaker 1: some said should have no business even making this attempt,
- 35:42Speaker 1: has taken its place at the front of this race
- 35:46Speaker 1: to replace the current president. After that was Elizabeth Warren,
- 35:50Speaker 1: Joe Biden, Amy Klobucher, and Andrew Yang in that order.
- 35:53Speaker 1: For years, the Iowa vote has been considered indicative of
- 35:55Speaker 1: the way the nation would vote. However, in recent years
- 35:58Speaker 1: many others point out that the mostly white state is
- 36:00Speaker 1: out of step with the rest of this increasingly diverse country. Finally,
- 36:04Speaker 1: today's national sack of mailman day. Oh yeah, not back
- 36:11Speaker 1: to the Steve Robbie Morning Show. You're listening show? Well, well, well,
- 36:19Speaker 1: our resident poet Junior is here with the poet for today,
- 36:24Speaker 1: a poem for it today? What you got for Yeah? Yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 1: you know. I was up late last night. It hit
- 36:29Speaker 1: me about two thirty a m. Four. I came in
- 36:32Speaker 1: this morning sound and I'm saying I was like, oh
- 36:35Speaker 1: my gosh, thanks Giving. Thanks you mean the holiday? Yeah, yeah,
- 36:40Speaker 1: it's in November, right, but Valentine's Yes, it is next week. Okay. Yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 1: So I thought about I said, oh my god, I
- 36:48Speaker 1: need something to write to be thankful for these women.
- 36:50Speaker 1: They don't they don't hand nobody writing this type of
- 36:52Speaker 1: stuff for that. This this up and see where you're going. Yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 1: sure this is like this, like right next to Prince.
- 36:59Speaker 1: It's like same type of love. Okay, come on, yeah time,
- 37:04Speaker 1: I mean, don't this is just hit me. You know
- 37:06Speaker 1: when Lord used you, he just gotta let him us,
- 37:08Speaker 1: Okay the Lord. Yeah, okay, you tell me when you
- 37:12Speaker 1: find I'm gonna like it. Valentine's Day poem from Jim Okay,
- 37:19Speaker 1: here it is. Valentine's Day is coming up. It's around
- 37:23Speaker 1: the corner. You need to get a special one, a
- 37:26Speaker 1: gift so your buddy won't be a loner. Now. It
- 37:30Speaker 1: could be flowers, candy or bad and even some cash
- 37:34Speaker 1: is always nice. Even a six pack of beer if
- 37:37Speaker 1: it's just kept cold and on ice. Bud light anyone.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Now they say it's not the gift, it's the thought
- 37:46Speaker 1: that always counts. Show up empty handed on Valentine's Day
- 37:50Speaker 1: and they'll ask your ass to bounce we out? God,
- 37:54Speaker 1: I can't believe I came up with that. Lord that
- 38:03Speaker 1: Julie me either? Who? What is you blowing for? What?
- 38:10Speaker 1: This woo? Fuck? Catch your bro? Who? When when the
- 38:15Speaker 1: spirit come upon you? On a board? Boy? Who? You
- 38:20Speaker 1: better blame that on this spear? What was that? Last?
- 38:24Speaker 1: The last two last? None of his poems had any rhythm.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Show up empty handed on Valentine's Day and they'll ask
- 38:32Speaker 1: your ass to bounce we out? Who? Who? Who? You
- 38:42Speaker 1: bud light anyone? I don't know how he does? Wow? Ok?
- 38:49Speaker 1: All I can say is wow. I know stop crying,
- 38:53Speaker 1: sir something. Hallmark will take any of these poems. Now,
- 38:58Speaker 1: your rhythm is off, like read the full lines again,
- 39:01Speaker 1: watch this here. Valentine's Day is coming up. In fact,
- 39:04Speaker 1: it's around the coma. You need to get that special
- 39:08Speaker 1: one a gift so your bob won't be alone? Who
- 39:12Speaker 1: understand name? You gotta go? We gotta go, please, junior. No, mo,
- 39:19Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to show well. Last night
- 39:25Speaker 1: was President Trump's third State of the Union address, and
- 39:28Speaker 1: it took place in front of a joint session of
- 39:30Speaker 1: Congress in the House Chamber. The President's speech was a
- 39:34Speaker 1: day after the Iowa Democratic Caucus hot mess. What was that? Okay?
- 39:39Speaker 1: The President was introduced by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. That
- 39:43Speaker 1: was awkward, to say the least, because we know they
- 39:46Speaker 1: don't particularly care for each other, at least in public. Anyway,
- 39:51Speaker 1: quite a few House Democrats boycott at the President's State
- 39:54Speaker 1: of the Union address, including Representative Alexandria Occasio Cortez from
- 39:59Speaker 1: New York, also the president of First Lady Milania. Trump
- 40:02Speaker 1: had a list of invited guests from working leaders to
- 40:06Speaker 1: single moms, to a student from Philly for the school
- 40:11Speaker 1: choice initiative, and brave military families. Uh. Like he said, Steve,
- 40:16Speaker 1: he could barely get a word out of or a
- 40:18Speaker 1: sentence before the Senate. Those Republicans, I've never seen anybody
- 40:22Speaker 1: getting that man standing ovations. You know what? Uh didn't they?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Uh there's one of the military men they had stand
- 40:31Speaker 1: up from Cleveland, Ohio. UM, one of the surviving Tuskegee admin,
- 40:36Speaker 1: first black fighter pilot. He also happens to be this
- 40:42Speaker 1: young man's great grandfather that he stood up there, wants
- 40:45Speaker 1: to be a astronaut. When he's um, you know, they pulled.
- 40:51Speaker 1: They had about five black people stand up. You know,
- 40:57Speaker 1: ain't hardly no white people. He had no white people
- 41:00Speaker 1: stand up. He had mostly black people standing up, you know,
- 41:03Speaker 1: blacks for Trump. No, No, they wasn't. It was just
- 41:06Speaker 1: you know, he had picked up a survivor from a
- 41:09Speaker 1: post post you know, post war syndrome whatever they call
- 41:14Speaker 1: it pd PTSD. He was black, had a young dude
- 41:20Speaker 1: that was wanted to be a astronaut. He was black,
- 41:24Speaker 1: had the one hundred years servicemen from Tuskegee. But that's
- 41:27Speaker 1: what they want you to think. Black for Trump. Well
- 41:30Speaker 1: that that he cares. Yeah, I got And he doesn't
- 41:34Speaker 1: know any No, there are there are no black cabinet members,
- 41:42Speaker 1: with the exception of Ben Carson. Yeah, but yeah, her director.
- 41:47Speaker 1: And he don't think he black, No, he black, he'd
- 41:50Speaker 1: just be sleep. Yeah, he doesn't know. He's actually a
- 41:54Speaker 1: cool dude, what he does with surgery and everything. Yeah,
- 41:58Speaker 1: he's great, great, great great. Yeah. Well, while the Democratic
- 42:03Speaker 1: party's official response to the president's address was given by
- 42:06Speaker 1: Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders delivered his
- 42:11Speaker 1: own rebuttal last night. And speaking of Congress, the Senate
- 42:15Speaker 1: is expected to vote today and we know they're probably
- 42:19Speaker 1: going to acquit Trump on two articles of impeachment that
- 42:22Speaker 1: were passed by the House in December that accused the
- 42:25Speaker 1: president of abusing his power and obstructing Congress in his
- 42:29Speaker 1: pursuit to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate his political opponents.
- 42:35Speaker 1: So there you go. Yeah, yeah, man, Well, I mean
- 42:42Speaker 1: when they acquit him, because we know what's going to happen,
- 42:46Speaker 1: then that clears the way for him to really go
- 42:49Speaker 1: at the Democrats. Now, you know, either that will start
- 42:53Speaker 1: asking more countries for money. Yeah, and you know his
- 42:58Speaker 1: official campaign will kick off with that. You know, what
- 43:02Speaker 1: a way to start it. Yeah, yeah, what a way
- 43:05Speaker 1: to start it. But we have to do our due
- 43:07Speaker 1: diligence as well. And we have to get out there
- 43:09Speaker 1: and vote. We have to do you know. I mean,
- 43:14Speaker 1: even if he wins, at least you can say it
- 43:16Speaker 1: wasn't because I didn't cast my vote. Yeah, And you
- 43:19Speaker 1: have to vote. Yeah, and look and look, y'all. I
- 43:23Speaker 1: understand the frustration with the political system. I get it.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I agree with what a lot of people are saying
- 43:29Speaker 1: about it. But uh, listen, you know, we have to
- 43:34Speaker 1: cast our vote. Too many people paid the price for
- 43:37Speaker 1: us to be able to do this. We have to vote.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I don't care who you vote for, but we got
- 43:41Speaker 1: to get out here and vote. But if you do
- 43:42Speaker 1: not vote in this election, you are handing it to him. Yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you cannot sit this one out, are handing it? I care? Yeah, yeah, Well,
- 43:56Speaker 1: I mean it's up to us now. It is just
- 43:58Speaker 1: up to us, and we have to cast our votes,
- 44:01Speaker 1: you know. Anyway, all right, you can go to Steve
- 44:04Speaker 1: Harvey FM on Instagram or Facebook to comment on the
- 44:08Speaker 1: State of the Union speech. Coming up next the Nephew
- 44:11Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone call. Right after
- 44:14Speaker 1: this you're listening to show, all right, coming up at
- 44:20Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,
- 44:23Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today. I think we'll have
- 44:26Speaker 1: Sister O'Dell in on this one. The subject is should
- 44:29Speaker 1: I just hush and stay on the main line wait
- 44:33Speaker 1: till you hear this one? Right now? Though the nephew
- 44:35Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone call? What do
- 44:38Speaker 1: you have for us today? Next to some of these
- 44:40Speaker 1: kids just don't learn? What do you mean? Okay, your
- 44:43Speaker 1: baby going back to pre k? Your baby going back
- 44:46Speaker 1: to pre k. That's right, and flunked out. Yes, back,
- 44:51Speaker 1: that's right. Let's go. Come one. Yes, I'm trying to
- 44:55Speaker 1: reach miss Thomas. Please. My name is mister Stapleton. I'm
- 44:59Speaker 1: actually the principle over at elementary school. You're I'm looking
- 45:04Speaker 1: at my records indicating that your son, Thomas is going
- 45:07Speaker 1: to be starting his first grade. Ready, right, listen, miss Thomas. Um,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I've been going through actually all of the children's records
- 45:17Speaker 1: that will be starting school, and I'm looking at your
- 45:20Speaker 1: son's grades from his kindergarten. Well, no, not exactly. I
- 45:27Speaker 1: mean there's been a few. Uh. I actually spoke with
- 45:30Speaker 1: the teacher who he was under in kindergarten, and it
- 45:33Speaker 1: seems like he just really wasn't up to par as
- 45:36Speaker 1: the rest of the children. Now, his conduct now, he talked,
- 45:41Speaker 1: but he gets his work. So what else is she
- 45:43Speaker 1: saying on that that ain't right? Well, what's what it
- 45:46Speaker 1: seems to be, ma'am is that his grades weren't up
- 45:49Speaker 1: to par as the rest of the other children. She
- 45:50Speaker 1: did tell me he was a disobedient child. No, disobedient
- 45:54Speaker 1: and talking two different things. Come on, okay, well man, listen.
- 45:57Speaker 1: What we've decided here is we're gonna let a little
- 46:01Speaker 1: actually do another year of kindergarten. No, y'all ain't gonna
- 46:05Speaker 1: let him do another year of kindergarten. No, sir man,
- 46:07Speaker 1: that's that's the only choice I have. No. We got
- 46:12Speaker 1: our letter in the mail with our report card the
- 46:15Speaker 1: week after school started, and it said on the back promoted.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And if I got to get about this couch and
- 46:21Speaker 1: go get it, I'm gonna be dot because I'm telling
- 46:24Speaker 1: you right now we will be in the first grade.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Kindergarten won that hard. I'm not sure what they told
- 46:30Speaker 1: you about him, but it must be the wrong. Well,
- 46:33Speaker 1: I understanding. He's he doesn't color as well as arrested kids.
- 46:37Speaker 1: He's all he's out of the lines when he color.
- 46:39Speaker 1: He doesn't know his numbers completely. And that's kind of
- 46:42Speaker 1: what we need when you first come into into the
- 46:46Speaker 1: first grade. When I can show you on this paper
- 46:48Speaker 1: he did satisfactory all the way through. Now you about
- 46:51Speaker 1: the mai off and I'm already sick calling me with
- 46:54Speaker 1: some about my son blank and kender garden. He ain't
- 46:58Speaker 1: that kind of does not color well? Man, Listen, color
- 47:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna do with the dad guard kindergarten. He is
- 47:04Speaker 1: going to the first grade. And I'll be down there
- 47:06Speaker 1: on August twenty fourth. Mom, I will not be able
- 47:08Speaker 1: to allow you to get in the school on August
- 47:11Speaker 1: when you were mister, I'm sorry, and let me get
- 47:14Speaker 1: Let's tell you what. Let me go in and get
- 47:15Speaker 1: my pencil and pen because I don't live that far
- 47:17Speaker 1: from this school. And if y'all aren't read it down
- 47:19Speaker 1: there causing some comfort, I need to get up and
- 47:21Speaker 1: go down there because I'm not telling my baby when
- 47:23Speaker 1: he come home the day that he ain't going to
- 47:25Speaker 1: the dad come first. Man. I hate to say it,
- 47:27Speaker 1: but I'm gonna have to refuse education from him on August.
- 47:30Speaker 1: You know what, I just went back and put him
- 47:32Speaker 1: in public school. I know that was a stake in
- 47:34Speaker 1: the first place. Food which I'm talking about some coloring.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Give me your name again, sir Stapleton. Man, And what's
- 47:40Speaker 1: that number down there? The number here is actually area code. Women.
- 47:45Speaker 1: I got the number them. Mind, I pulled up this
- 47:47Speaker 1: report card. I got the number in your name on
- 47:48Speaker 1: the back of this paper. I'll tell you what, August
- 47:50Speaker 1: twenty fourth will be coming in there, going to school,
- 47:53Speaker 1: and I might make a trip around that this evening
- 47:55Speaker 1: when I come from the doctor. The bottom line is,
- 47:58Speaker 1: I'm not want to hear that. Ain't got na do
- 48:01Speaker 1: with nothing else. It's not only color, he's a rhythm
- 48:04Speaker 1: of tickets back. No, are you working with him at home?
- 48:08Speaker 1: Are you doing anything at home day? What you're trying
- 48:11Speaker 1: to say, I'm an incompetent parent. I'm just asking, as
- 48:13Speaker 1: a parent, are you working with your child? Working with
- 48:16Speaker 1: my child every day? He can read better than you? Problemly, No,
- 48:19Speaker 1: he can't read. I'm an I can't read better than
- 48:21Speaker 1: you because honestly, you read that role on that paper
- 48:23Speaker 1: that he's supposed to be going back to kindergarten when
- 48:26Speaker 1: I know the paper saying from it going to the
- 48:28Speaker 1: first grade. And I'm not listening to no more this
- 48:31Speaker 1: about him going backwards. Now, if you got a problem
- 48:34Speaker 1: with your paper work, maybe you need to go talk
- 48:37Speaker 1: to your secretary of somebody in there that wrote my
- 48:40Speaker 1: baby name down, your name, your son's name Thomas Man. No,
- 48:44Speaker 1: it ain't him, baby, I know it ain't him. You're
- 48:45Speaker 1: not gonna sit up and tell me my son is
- 48:47Speaker 1: flocking kindergarden. He is not going back to that kindergarten.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Don't bring your son down here, August. I call you once,
- 48:55Speaker 1: be ready to up me and my husband, But we
- 48:57Speaker 1: will be down there a four backpack, shoe uniform. Everything
- 49:01Speaker 1: you hear me, I will not be able to love
- 49:03Speaker 1: him and education right now. I would come down there
- 49:06Speaker 1: right now and make that correction on that paper for you.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Can you is not going back to no kindergarten for
- 49:12Speaker 1: no coloring? Can you bring him down him and let
- 49:14Speaker 1: him color for me? So I can't you tell my
- 49:16Speaker 1: color in the rhythm and taking out yourselves? No? Uh no,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We would be down there. I was the
- 49:22Speaker 1: twenty four. I would have this poor card in my
- 49:25Speaker 1: head that says you have been promoted to the first
- 49:27Speaker 1: broad that he gonna have a smile on his face,
- 49:29Speaker 1: and so are you. I got one more thing I
- 49:31Speaker 1: need to tell you. Are you listening to me? I'm listening.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing. Yeah, you better say something that
- 49:36Speaker 1: sounds like the first grade because I'm not playing. I
- 49:38Speaker 1: would go down to this day. I'm administrative office, and
- 49:41Speaker 1: I had fine because my son would be in that
- 49:44Speaker 1: first grade. Are you raising your voice? Who are you
- 49:47Speaker 1: raising your voice? You talk cra to me. I'm talk
- 49:50Speaker 1: cresident in what. I'm a grown woman. I don't need
- 49:53Speaker 1: to be explained to you. Why I'm trying to Did
- 49:56Speaker 1: you graduate? Honey? I am a college degree person. I
- 50:00Speaker 1: have a great job. My husband and I do well
- 50:02Speaker 1: for ourselves and for our children, and that's why we're not.
- 50:04Speaker 1: You're not You're not even at work right now. Man,
- 50:07Speaker 1: That's it. I'm sat phone. I told you that when
- 50:09Speaker 1: you call him writing on the doctor to call me
- 50:11Speaker 1: now a partner missing my phone call? Can you color
- 50:14Speaker 1: because your son can't color? Why? God? Question is that?
- 50:18Speaker 1: Can't ask me? Can I color? Why are you white
- 50:20Speaker 1: and black? You ask me so? I miss me? I'm
- 50:22Speaker 1: not color. No, I ask you? Can you color? Like
- 50:26Speaker 1: some racist lines and that? Can you color? No? I'm
- 50:30Speaker 1: my coloring and me my color ain't got nothing to
- 50:32Speaker 1: do with none of this is just a race thing. No,
- 50:35Speaker 1: he's trying to make sure you send him back. No,
- 50:37Speaker 1: I'm not trying to send him back. I want to
- 50:38Speaker 1: send him back to color to get his coloring together.
- 50:41Speaker 1: You what that ain't got nothing to do with nothing.
- 50:43Speaker 1: And if you're the head person down there now, you
- 50:46Speaker 1: aren't competent and you aren't in a literate Call me
- 50:49Speaker 1: and tell me that my son has to go back
- 50:51Speaker 1: to the first grad. I got one more thing. You
- 50:53Speaker 1: don't want you mixed up? I'll tell you what. I'm
- 50:55Speaker 1: through with this guy. I'm through with this case. I'm
- 50:56Speaker 1: gonna say one more thing, and I'm gonna be out here.

- 53:58Speaker 1: can I tell you something about this beach last night?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump head more black people stand up in that
- 54:05Speaker 1: crowd that has ever been to his house tolding, and
- 54:09Speaker 1: you don't know none of them. Don't try to trick us. Okay,
- 54:13Speaker 1: We're way smarter than that. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 54:18Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject. Should I just hush and stay
- 54:23Speaker 1: on the main line? To Stephen Shirley. I've been married
- 54:27Speaker 1: for eleven years to a very religious man. When I
- 54:30Speaker 1: say my husband loves the Lord, he loves the Lord.
- 54:35Speaker 1: He is five years older than me, and he dedicated
- 54:37Speaker 1: his life to Christ three years before meeting me. He
- 54:41Speaker 1: said it was a Lord that led him to me.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Because of him, I got saved and really got into
- 54:47Speaker 1: the church. I am a faithful Christian, but I can't
- 54:50Speaker 1: quote scriptures like he can. I am constantly reminded that
- 54:54Speaker 1: he's more familiar with religion than I am, and he
- 54:57Speaker 1: likes to tell me that he has a much better
- 55:00Speaker 1: relationship with Jesus than I do. If he's angry with me,
- 55:04Speaker 1: he says terrible things like God is not pleased with
- 55:07Speaker 1: how I conduct myself as a wife, and I don't
- 55:10Speaker 1: carry myself as a woman of God would. If I
- 55:12Speaker 1: ask him what I'm doing wrong, he shuts me down
- 55:15Speaker 1: and tells me to go talk to Jesus. I asked
- 55:18Speaker 1: him to stop saying mean things to me whenever he's upset,
- 55:22Speaker 1: and his response is always, you can take it up
- 55:24Speaker 1: with Jesus. I used to love the fact that my
- 55:27Speaker 1: husband is such a godly man, but lately I am
- 55:30Speaker 1: starting to resent him, and he's making me not want
- 55:33Speaker 1: to even go to church anymore. We have the same
- 55:36Speaker 1: problems that all married couples have, but I can't work
- 55:40Speaker 1: through any of our problems or talk to him about
- 55:42Speaker 1: anything because he tells me to go talk to Jesus
- 55:46Speaker 1: instead of him. My breaking point came last Friday when
- 55:49Speaker 1: I tried to talk to him about a conflict I
- 55:52Speaker 1: had at work, and he told me that if I
- 55:55Speaker 1: prayed more and talked less, even everything in my life
- 55:58Speaker 1: would be just fine. We have reached the point where
- 56:01Speaker 1: religion is going to destroy our marriage. I've researched how
- 56:05Speaker 1: people being how people can be too holy, and my
- 56:10Speaker 1: husband is one of those people. I can't continue living
- 56:14Speaker 1: like this. I need your advice. Should I talk to
- 56:17Speaker 1: him and get counseling or should I keep my mouth
- 56:19Speaker 1: shut and stay on the main line. Well, I just
- 56:23Speaker 1: got to tell you this first of all, Religion is
- 56:26Speaker 1: not destroying your marriage. It's not going to destroy your marriage.
- 56:29Speaker 1: I think it's your crazy, self righteous, holier than thou
- 56:32Speaker 1: husband that's who's going to destroy your marriage. I mean,
- 56:37Speaker 1: he's he is right about one thing. You should take
- 56:40Speaker 1: it up with Jesus because only Jesus can fix him,
- 56:44Speaker 1: all right, because you certainly can't right now. And by
- 56:47Speaker 1: the way, I'm sure you know this, but the way
- 56:51Speaker 1: he acts towards you his wife is very ungodly, is
- 56:54Speaker 1: very unjudgment it's very judgmental, it's very disrespectful. If the Lord,
- 57:00Speaker 1: like he says, truly led him to you, don't you
- 57:03Speaker 1: think the Lord would have also, uh, you know, shown him,
- 57:07Speaker 1: shown him how to treat you, you know, and all
- 57:10Speaker 1: of those things. I gotta tell you there are a
- 57:12Speaker 1: lot of non Christian men who don't even know the Lord,
- 57:16Speaker 1: non religious men who treat their wives like Queen's way
- 57:20Speaker 1: better than he treats you. And you're right married couples
- 57:24Speaker 1: Christian whoever, they have issues and they need to be
- 57:28Speaker 1: discussed and work through. Uh. He's stubborn, like I said,
- 57:32Speaker 1: he's disrespectful, he's closed minded, he has an attitude when
- 57:36Speaker 1: it comes to you. He doesn't want to talk to
- 57:37Speaker 1: you his wife. He's not the Christian that he claims
- 57:41Speaker 1: to be. Just and just because a person can quote scripture,
- 57:45Speaker 1: that doesn't make him God's favorite little Christian man. That
- 57:48Speaker 1: just doesn't do it. I mean, yeah, I mean to
- 57:51Speaker 1: save your marriage of course I would try to talk
- 57:53Speaker 1: to him. I would do it lovingly, respectfully, and I
- 57:56Speaker 1: would also seek some sort of marriage counseling in this situation,
- 58:00Speaker 1: if they offered at your church, even though you said
- 58:02Speaker 1: you're feeling like you don't want to go anymore, but
- 58:05Speaker 1: something has to be done. You know, I must warn
- 58:09Speaker 1: you your husband, mister perfect, he's probably not gonna want
- 58:12Speaker 1: to do any marriage counselor. He's probably gonna say, take
- 58:14Speaker 1: it up with Jesus. I just think you should go
- 58:17Speaker 1: take it up with a marriage counselor at your church. Steve,
- 58:22Speaker 1: should I just hush and stay on the main line. Now,
- 58:25Speaker 1: you shouldn't, because you in some mess been married eleven years,
- 58:31Speaker 1: very religious man. When I say my husband loves a Lord,
- 58:34Speaker 1: he loves the Lord. He's five years older than me,
- 58:37Speaker 1: and he dedicated his life to Christ three years before
- 58:40Speaker 1: meeting me. He said it was a Lord that led
- 58:43Speaker 1: me to him. Because of him, I got saved and
- 58:45Speaker 1: really got into the church. Here's a problem with your husband,
- 58:49Speaker 1: and he loves the Lord so much that he now
- 58:52Speaker 1: has fixed it in his mind, and it is trying
- 58:55Speaker 1: to convince everybody that he loves the Lord more than
- 58:57Speaker 1: anybody else. In order to love the Lord more than
- 59:01Speaker 1: anybody else, you must not love some other people, which
- 59:05Speaker 1: is what he is doing. Which is what he is doing,
- 59:11Speaker 1: this man right here, because of him, you went to
- 59:15Speaker 1: church and you got saved. But I can't quote scriptures
- 59:18Speaker 1: like he can. You don't have to. He ain't living
- 59:22Speaker 1: by him, he just quoting them. I'm constantly reminded that
- 59:27Speaker 1: he's more familiar with religion than I am. And he
- 59:30Speaker 1: likes to tell me that he got a much better
- 59:33Speaker 1: relationship with Jesus than I do. How does he know that?
- 59:37Speaker 1: How does he know that? And you know what my
- 59:39Speaker 1: father always told me, if somebody always got to tell
- 59:42Speaker 1: you who they are and what they do, it probably
- 59:46Speaker 1: ain't true. It probably ain't true. This wonderful relationship be
- 59:52Speaker 1: talking about with God, but he keeps doing ungodless stuff
- 59:56Speaker 1: when he's angry with me, says terrible things like God
- 59:58Speaker 1: is not pleased with how duck myself as the while
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: as a wife, what he might. God might not be
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: real happy with your duties as a husband either. You
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: don't seem like you popping that on all corks, chump
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: hold on, Steve won't call him something else with you
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: know church boy. Yeah. Part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: up today's subject. Should I just hush and stay on
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: the main line? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve? Come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: strawberry letter? Or should I just hush and stay on
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the main line? No, you shouldn't, because you're married to
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: this food. Now. He's bigger Christian than everybody I know.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: People like that. He got you into the church and everything,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: but now he did talking to you. He more familiar
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: with the religion than you are. He likes to tell
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: me that he got a much better relationship with Jesus
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: than I do. How does he know that? He just
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: took credit for it? Once again the words of Smith Harvey.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: If somebody always got to tell you who they are
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and what they do, it probably ain't true. And I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: have found that in my life. All the time he's angry.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He says terrible things to you, like God is not
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: pleased with how I conduct myself as a wife, and
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I don't care myself as a woman of God. Then
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: when I ask you what I'm doing wrong, he shut
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: me down. Tell me talk to Jesus. I'm asking you
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: time he shuts me down and tells me to go
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: talk to Jesus. I'm asking you because Jesus ain't told
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: me to shut him sitting down nowhere? What am I
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: doing wrong? Because jess ain't said I was doing nothing wrong.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I've asked him to stop saying mean things to me
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: whenever he's upsetting. His response is, you could tell it
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: up with Jesus. I took it out with Jesus. He
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: told me to tell you you're going to hell? How
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: about that? Yeah, mister Holy Moses, Holy Moses, you're about
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: to start telling him stuff that he know ain't true.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: You ain't all that, You ain't the wife you're supposed
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to be, and you ain't you ain't Moses, right, you
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: can take it up with Jesus. What Lazarus start saying
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: stuff to you? Then you're just thrown a little bit
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: of the Bible at him that you do know. I'm
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: starting to resent him, and he's making me not want
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to even go to church no more. You know why
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you don't want to go to church no more? Because
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: that ain't what church supposed to be. See, that's why
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you don't like a church supposed to churches for six people,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: sick people. That's why he died there, because he's sick.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Huh yeah, sitting up in him. We got the same
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: couple that all man. We got the same problems all
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: man couples have. But I can't work through any of
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: our problems because when I try to talk to him
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: about anything, he telled me to talk to Jesus instead
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: of him. I didn't imagine Jesus. I married you, ain't Lord,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: that's the same vibe. Leave all others and cleve only
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: uncle him. But that time when I come you, you're
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: telling me to talk to Jesus. I wanted to talk
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to my husband. Joe black ass sitting up in here
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: reading the Vible every day. You ain't in the bad
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and you ain't doing nothing in the bad room. Since
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: we're bringing it up, how about that? How about that,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: mister fat stomached man sitting up in here, Take it
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: up with Jesus. Eleven years of marriage. My breaking point
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: came last Friday when I tried to talk to him
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: about the conflict I had to work. He told me
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: if I prayed more and talk less, everything in my
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: life would be fine. If I had another husband, my
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: life would be fine. I'm trying to conqu your fat ass.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I've researched how people can be too holy? You fat
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: holy roll up, you're doing that. My husband is one
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: of these people. I can't continue living like this up
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: in here, listening to all listen mess and he ain't
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: doing nothing to make me want to stay. Ain't frying
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: the chicken and baking in the bedroom. He ain't doing nothing.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: We're sitting up and here reading scriptures. Did we fall asleep?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I want to fall asleep. I want to get put
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to sleep. You gotta start snapping back at him. Should
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I try to talk to him and get counseling or
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: should I just keep my mouth shut and stay on
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the main line. You know what this dude reminds me
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: because I know people like this holier than that. Yeah
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you haven't. You know some people that are so saved
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: that they ain't saved? Yeah? I mean, man, you know somebody, Man,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: every time you talked to you know, these people, you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: call their house, they still got answering machines. They got
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: all of the Book of Corinthians on their answer machine.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Don't nobody even read Corinthians? No nobody ever say you
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: ever read First Corinthians because he don't. Nobody read first Chrinia,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: second Thrinthia. No, nobody do that. They always got that
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: on that. I can't stand on people. How you doing?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Blessing highly favored? Yeah, I saw your car down on
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: A thirty. It was up on block exactly. Guess the
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: blessings ran out on your car. You just all the time,

- 1:06:53Speaker 1: a wish. Next stop for the Chiefs will be a

- 1:07:35Speaker 1: in fact, the entire USA so very well, a country
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: is proud of you. We got a dude in the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: White House in there. I mean, everybody makes mistakes, true,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Come on, the President of these United States MC junior,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: meet you in time. We can make that mistake. He can't.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: He can't. He makes every day though. What the fact,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: been in Kansas City and nowhe's in Missouri. Better know
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: where that Langridge? Yeah, man, they see it's about the bridge. Man. Yeah. Okay,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: So we don't live in Kansas. We don't live in Missouri.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: But Dave, who is from Kansas City, who's still high
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: from the Yeah he's still happy. Chief. Yeah, let's ask
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: a day. Does it matter? Does it matter whether it's
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Kansas or Missouri? Depend to get on the mic. Yes,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it matters. That's a lot. That's now the city goes
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: into both states. Right, but Arrowhead is in Missouri on purpose.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Yeah matters because that's to show me. Stay congratulations Dave too.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Also Steve. This super Bowl was the tenth most watched
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: super Bowl in history. Uh more people tuned in and
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the last three years because of New England Patriots. Uh weren't.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: We're not playing so all right, Trump at the thing

- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, today's office topic.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Do you have a hiding place in your home to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: just have a few minutes alone? Yeah? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: So guys, here's a question for you. Do you have
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: a hiding place in your home to just have a
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: few minutes alone, you know. I mean everybody should have someplace,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: some little getaway place that they can have some me time.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: For instance, some women like to have what they call
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: a she shed or a small room that they can
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: read in or just chill in. I you know what,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: I love the bathroom. Men usually go into the garage
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: or their man cave or the basement or someplace. Do
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: you take an extended break in your home hiding place?
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Do you do it every day? Is the question? Or
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: does your family know not to disturb you when you're
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: in your favorite room or you're hiding place. Come on, Steve,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I know you take time for yourself. Yeah, I've always
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: done that. Yeah, I go, I go to San Diego.

- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the elevating everything. I'll be Damn, I'm going to San Diego.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: It's beautiful there. I don't care if it is. They

- 1:10:54Speaker 1: will be in my bathroom for our words, in the bathroom,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: in the bath because I have a TV in there,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: and you know I do my makeup, you know. Yeah,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I don't mean the water. You don't mean the toilet. No, no, no,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I don't spend most of my time. I spend most
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: of my time in the band. No, no, no, not there.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I just out. Yeah, that's a separate with the van.

- 1:11:25Speaker 1: watching the game. I just get up going in the bathroom.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: It's on the wall right in front of you. Yeah,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I ain't done that up a little high where you
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: can keep your head up. You don't want to look
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: even keep your head or get digestive tracking more open
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the slight. What about you tell me I'm in my theater.

- 1:11:57Speaker 1: hear that? Rich Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you said a rich
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: ass statement. And I ain't saying that. You said, my
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: kids on my grand baby's on the elevator. I ain't

- 1:12:08Speaker 1: ain't because I ain't gonna go ahead teeth rooms. I
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: thought I had it limited. Okay, all right, Well pass
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: his elevator on my theater. Hey, junior, which one of

- 1:13:32Speaker 1: where I go to get away? That's all I said. Man,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Well the Lord is still blessing blessing you. Man, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: didn't even know I'm saying. If you're talking to you
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: like you, he had one. I got changed. I talked

- 1:17:15Speaker 1: second on b ET. Yeah all right, So in other news,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have heard about this and other
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: entertainment news, Colin Kaepernick is scratching his head over Jay
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Z's and Beyonce's display of solidarity at the Super Bowl,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: jay Z and Beyonce chose to remain seated during the
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: national anthem, though they didn't speak on the gesture at first,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: and everybody was speculating that they were protesting in all
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: of this, but it comes to come to find out
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: that is not the case. Jay Z has responded anyway.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick, you know, said he shared a picture of
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: the story about Jay and Beyonce sit out with the
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: caption reading, I thought we were past kneeling though that's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: a reference. Remember when jay Z made those comments on
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: September of last year, he did a press conference and
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: say we're past that. We're moving on. Anyway. Jay Z
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: has responded, okay, He says he and Beyonce sitting through
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: the Star Spangled banner at the Super Bowl on Sunday
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: was absolutely not a protest of any sort. It was
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: simply two moguls hard at work. Jay was at Columbia
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: University Tuesday. He addressed the video that TMZ Sports first
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: posted on Sunday showing Jay B and Blue Ivy seated
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: as Demi Levado sang the national anthem. But let's make
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: this clear as well, they weren't the only people seated.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: There were a lot of people, Yeah, but they're the
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: most famous. Columbia professor asked him if he remained seated
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to convey a signal, and Jay quickly replied it actually wasn't. Sorry,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you know, he and Beyonce, he said, Beyonce told him
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: she was saying what Demmy must have been going through
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: in the seconds before starting the national anthem. And as
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Jay put it, Beyonce's performed at the super Bowl before
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: and I haven't. So there you have it. His response
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: to why he and Bay were sitting by were sitting down. Okay,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: it wasn't a big protest against the national anthem. They
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: weren't trying to start anything, nothing like that. It's nothing. Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: all right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Our very last break. It's the last break of the day.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve, and of course Steve will have some
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: closing remarks. That's all coming up at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: after the hour right after this. You're listening all right
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: here we are, guys, last break of the day on
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: this Wednesday, big newsday. It's going to be today after
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: the Senate votes on whether they will impeach the president
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: or not. They're not going to do. Yeah, we know
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and none. Yeah we know, but it's the biggest farce ever. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: We need to get ourselves together though, and register to
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: vote and get ready to go to work this November
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: on election day. Can't stress that enough. We just can't.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: So it's been a good day otherwise. Yeah, I was younger.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Is this like really like Nixon all over again? No,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: because Nixon's got put out. Yeah he um No, that's
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: when the country actually designed up pale their oath as
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: senators and congressmen to uphold the Constitution. They won't do
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: that now. They they turned down the opportunity for a
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: hearing with no witnesses. You can't have any witnesses and
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: we can't show any document. And if it wasn't all today,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: so they've changed all that. I think right now. I
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: hate to tell you this, but I think that politics
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: from now in this country is forever change. Oh yeah,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: and I don't I think when he gets out, I
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: don't think they'll ever go back because there is a
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: young senator, congressman, or somebody billionaire who has watched this
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: man become president with this type of behavior, this rhetoric,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: and this recklessness, and it's going to use that to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: give themselves a shot. I think he has forever changed it.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: And the Republican Party has themselves to blame for allowing
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: their candidate to conduct himself in this way and go
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: along with it. Let him tell as many lies as
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: he's told due to things he's done, be as corrupt
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: and immoral as you can be in that office, and
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: people know about it, and you still have them that. Yeah,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I mean the lies alone, just the lies alone. It's
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: heading towards twenty thousand. Since he's been in office. This
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: is all a lie, and that's a lot of lies.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: And I just want to say, from somebody who ain't
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: got no problem, line twenty is a lot. Yeah. I
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: mean the numbers actually like um sixteen and sixteen thousand
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: and some change, but it's heading towards you know, that's
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a lot of lies. I hadn't a lot. I was
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: sixteen thousand. I hadn't told him many lives when I
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: was sixteen and I was at the height of line.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: You was on your way when I was a teenager.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: That's all idea was lot. I never said anything truthful.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: But I agree with you, though politics has forever changed. Um,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you know, the truth, the truth doesn't matter anymore. The
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: truth doesn't matter, morals don't matter. And this country has
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: supported the most immoral president we've ever had. That. He
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: openly said it, and I'm telling you right now, man's
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: a dictator mentality. That's that's that's what they've done. That's
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: what they've done, and and they're perfectly fine with it.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: And it's sickening to watch. Yeah, yeah, because you know
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: they're lying. But I mean, he has been impeached. I mean,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: let's not overlook that the House did impeaching what I don't,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: I don't. That doesn't mean a single thing, but it
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: goes down in history though. It is history, Steve that
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: you know when we look back on it, just like
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: President Clinton at the time, Uh, you know, the fact
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that he's impeached, it's it made the history books. He
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: just wasn't impeached, thrown out of office by the Senate.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: But he has been impeaching. I know, it doesn't mean much.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: He's still going to be re elected if we don't
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: get out and do our jobs all of that, but
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: history will show that he was was Clinton was that
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: in his first term or his second I think Montica
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Lewinski was in a second Yeah, because he won the
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: second term. But see that impeachment for what ye that
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: holds no counter But they said because he lied when
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: he said I do not know this woman. I did
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: not have this one, and now they won't take him out.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Who the hell is gonna voluntarily say? Yeah, well, under oaths,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: anyone can purge themselves under oath, that's where you're lying at.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I guess, huh, you swear to to this country? Are
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: you kidding me? M under oath? Yeah, I do not
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: know that woman. I've had not had sexual relations with
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: that woman. I don't know this woman. That's what he
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: posed to say. That's what anybody else would. I don't
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: care imagine not saying that. That's right. You got to
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: say that as many times as you can, even when
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: the photos come out. Mm hmm. But it's not the
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: only way they got it was at DNA on that
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: black dress. And he only get that dress from your aunts.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Ain't clean it's dress? Where are you saving it for?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Oh dog, I'd have told everybody that's oh hell, let's
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: hit it. Hell, that's hell, let's Hillary is dressed? And
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: what you're doing to her cloth. I'd have had her
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: arrested for breaking in that house stealing Hillery's clothing. That's
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: how you flipping. And and if Hillary come out and
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: say I never had that dress on when you did that,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: I know I just used it. Yeah crazy. All right,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: We're gonna see what happened today. I'm still gonna have
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: a little faith that something can happen that some of
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the Republican senators are gonna fly. No, I ain't got
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: none if they want to win their elections again, be
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: re elected in their states. No boy, yeah, yeah, this count.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: You're going to hell in a hand bag. Well, let
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: me just say this, have a great weekend for all
