- 1:39Speaker 1: I got the memos? Good? What the memo? You're traveling?
- 1:43Speaker 1: You know you know I am a little leopard and
- 1:46Speaker 1: my little bit I would have been a little scared
- 1:51Speaker 1: if it was leopard. Are you doing good? Good to
- 1:55Speaker 1: see you, well, thank you, thanks for doing the show
- 1:57Speaker 1: because I know you. First of all, I know you travel. Yeah, okay,
- 2:00Speaker 1: so that means you have to put me in your
- 2:01Speaker 1: schedule to do this, but you know you you get
- 2:05Speaker 1: carte blanche. Thank you, thank you, Thank you, appreciate it.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Did you have car? Now we we're gonna start a
- 2:13Speaker 1: love personal First on the side, my daughter Christiana, she
- 2:17Speaker 1: was on the tennis Tours Tory c L and now
- 2:21Speaker 1: she's h enrolling the University Houston m gonna be studying
- 2:25Speaker 1: mechanical engineering. This fault. Now you have somebody named Taylor. Yes,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and you'll graduate of Texasu University. I am now what
- 2:34Speaker 1: school is she gonna go to? She is going to
- 2:37Speaker 1: go to the other side of my college career. She's
- 2:44Speaker 1: going to Howard. She's going to Howard. Yeah, she's excited
- 2:49Speaker 1: about it. I'm I'm excited about it too. You know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I I raised her to have her own way of thinking,
- 2:55Speaker 1: her own way of doing things. It's all based on,
- 2:59Speaker 1: you know, the knowledge of God and how God empowers
- 3:02Speaker 1: you to make great decisions and be a great person.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And um, I just wanted to be happy, just like you.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You know parents, as parents, we want our kids to
- 3:12Speaker 1: just be happy with whatever God empowers them to do.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And it's amazing because you know, first of all, you're
- 3:18Speaker 1: nervous because if you if you have a child, you
- 3:22Speaker 1: cook your TV, kids get your snatched. You know, it's
- 3:25Speaker 1: just crazy how you have to just pull yourself back
- 3:28Speaker 1: and allow your child to grow because you can just
- 3:31Speaker 1: wrap your arms around them and just suffocate them. And
- 3:34Speaker 1: guess what, they're out there seeing it anyway on YouTube
- 3:37Speaker 1: and watching their phones, so they educate themselves, maybe the
- 3:40Speaker 1: wrong way if you don't never grow. So when she
- 3:43Speaker 1: made the decision to go east. That's a lot of miles.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Now we're right through your mind. Nothing, her god mother
- 3:50Speaker 1: is there, aunts and uncles there, you know, I know
- 3:57Speaker 1: the capitals there, I know DCV. So we're cold, and
- 4:05Speaker 1: of course you know, I have to buy a place,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you know, somewhere, might as well be to rich Carlton.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So every now and then again I had the pleasure
- 4:20Speaker 1: of being raised by two why I should say, four
- 4:24Speaker 1: amazing people, my father and my father and my grandfather
- 4:27Speaker 1: grandmother who who really encouraged us all to be ourselves
- 4:33Speaker 1: because I'm the oldest of six kids. So they encouraged
- 4:36Speaker 1: us to be ourselves so much so that we all
- 4:39Speaker 1: went into different directions, you know. And then then now
- 4:44Speaker 1: would you being in entertainment, but then you Texas other
- 4:47Speaker 1: you studied with radio communication, radio TV journalism. Now what
- 4:52Speaker 1: brought you into Okay, like I gotta ask you, what
- 4:56Speaker 1: just how did you get discovered in the music genre? Well, uh, funny,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was about thirteen years old when I joined the
- 5:03Speaker 1: Southeast Inspirational Choir. Now we were already well they were
- 5:07Speaker 1: already a touring and recording choir before I even got there.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And uh so by the age of fifteen, I was
- 5:16Speaker 1: leading songs on recordings. By seventeen, I had my first
- 5:22Speaker 1: billboard hit, my liberty with the choir. Yeah you know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: yeah yeah um. And and you know, I thought that
- 5:35Speaker 1: I was just going to stay with the choir until
- 5:37Speaker 1: I got my reporting job after college. You know, do
- 5:40Speaker 1: all these great things anything other than a great opportunity,
- 5:46Speaker 1: just a great opportunity. And then even after I left
- 5:50Speaker 1: the choir and started doing solo projects with Thomas Whitfield,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I was teaching school because you know, the Channel eleventh
- 5:59Speaker 1: thing when way and so I mean, come on, we
- 6:03Speaker 1: we know how corporate can happen. And so it went away.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It was a total blessing because now I'm back in it,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and you know, you understand the ups and downs of
- 6:13Speaker 1: of everything. You know, life is like that, so you
- 6:16Speaker 1: learn how to adjust. That's why I love golf. So
- 6:19Speaker 1: it's a game of correction, absolutely abs And uh So
- 6:23Speaker 1: when I did the thing with Tom of Twinfield, I
- 6:27Speaker 1: just thought I would teach Monday through Friday, get on
- 6:31Speaker 1: a plane on Friday, get back on Sunday or Monday
- 6:36Speaker 1: morning to teach again, and I'd have two incomes. Did
- 6:40Speaker 1: you tell me I'm all about the income. We go
- 6:42Speaker 1: talk about this small business. Yes, yes, yes, so you know,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and that's how that happened. And it all happened. You know,
- 6:50Speaker 1: God's timing is amazing. It really is interesting. That reason
- 6:56Speaker 1: I really wanted you on the show was because of
- 6:58Speaker 1: your you know, you're true innerge. First of all, this
- 7:02Speaker 1: show is based in Houston, but it aris nationwide, and
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to galvanize and create a movement in Houston,
- 7:09Speaker 1: a mindset that you can be more than what you
- 7:12Speaker 1: think you are. And and when I when I and
- 7:15Speaker 1: I'm knowing how long enough to know she's from Stirling
- 7:17Speaker 1: High School. Yes, that's right here in Houston, Jexas. I'm
- 7:20Speaker 1: for far Brook High. It's not even existence though it's
- 7:25Speaker 1: torn down. Okay, so these these these are memories, these
- 7:28Speaker 1: are we are regular people. You know, I go to
- 7:31Speaker 1: Cracker Barrel. You know I go to Green Ghoes. You
- 7:34Speaker 1: know I even go to go to Corral. I'm a
- 7:36Speaker 1: shocking subway, that's me. You know, because I like food
- 7:40Speaker 1: doesn't mean you make a certain amount of money. You're
- 7:42Speaker 1: supposed to stop going to places that you want to be.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I go in a place where you go what you're
- 7:46Speaker 1: doing here just just like you. And when I when
- 7:51Speaker 1: I look at what you're doing and I look at
- 7:53Speaker 1: your career, you know, the whole radio side. Talk to
- 7:56Speaker 1: us about the radio and high important that has been
- 7:59Speaker 1: for your career and where the radio. Thank you is
- 8:04Speaker 1: was an answer to the prayer, and it is an
- 8:06Speaker 1: answer to the prayer that uh, you know, as a
- 8:09Speaker 1: single mom at the time, I was like, man, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: do not want to let my life move so fast
- 8:18Speaker 1: that I am not in the moment. But Taylor as
- 8:21Speaker 1: she has these epiphanies and these things that happened in
- 8:26Speaker 1: her life. I mean I was there when she was
- 8:28Speaker 1: cheering for the little Broncos team. I was there when
- 8:31Speaker 1: she was running track. I was there and that was
- 8:34Speaker 1: important to me. And so for for me, I asked, God, Okay,
- 8:39Speaker 1: this travel Monday through Sunday. It can't work, and I'd
- 8:44Speaker 1: be a successful parent because parenting is very important to me.
- 8:50Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, anyone who knows me knows
- 8:52Speaker 1: that parenting for me is my number one. I am
- 8:56Speaker 1: a mother first, I am I am I'm a mother first,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and I enjoyed my child, you know. And so that
- 9:07Speaker 1: was the prayer, Lord, give me something that I can
- 9:09Speaker 1: be home at least from Monday to Thursday, so that
- 9:14Speaker 1: she knows that mom will always be home Monday through
- 9:16Speaker 1: Thursday unless she and I have a talk and I'd say,
- 9:19Speaker 1: you know, hey, I gotta leave on Wednesday or whatever. Yeah, yes,
- 9:25Speaker 1: thank you, thank you Lord. But what happened was, Um,
- 9:31Speaker 1: after praying that prayer, less than a week our friend,
- 9:36Speaker 1: attorney Rickie Anderson, called and said, hey, would you like
- 9:39Speaker 1: to go into business with Radio One? And I'm like,
- 9:44Speaker 1: at first, Lord, and I'm like, of course, of course,
- 9:49Speaker 1: because you know, it answered everything. I would be home
- 9:52Speaker 1: Monday through Friday, I could fly away and do everything
- 9:54Speaker 1: that I needed to do, and um and still be
- 9:58Speaker 1: that doting mom, know, looking at her child blossom. Because
- 10:01Speaker 1: it was so funny about the Radio One. It was
- 10:03Speaker 1: like because I was Steve Harvey launched them in New
- 10:07Speaker 1: York City and Rickey Kay, and Rickey said, who else
- 10:11Speaker 1: do you think it? Be a star in radio? And
- 10:14Speaker 1: she doesn't even notice I went and he said, why,
- 10:18Speaker 1: she just has it. I don't know if you, if
- 10:19Speaker 1: you ever get a chance, listen to our morning show
- 10:22Speaker 1: because of the fact that it's it's it's a storytelling
- 10:25Speaker 1: about inspiring you. Just stop being regular. Step is to
- 10:29Speaker 1: you step out of your box. And I will tell
- 10:31Speaker 1: you something on radio. And I have to say this
- 10:34Speaker 1: because I've I've had a very good life. I produced Monique,
- 10:38Speaker 1: She want to Dud, Jamie Foxx, He's wanna Oscar, you know,
- 10:41Speaker 1: Robert Townsend, Gabrielle Union, Kim Whitley, Steve Harvey. Of course
- 10:47Speaker 1: your skills on the radio. Only a person I've seen
- 10:53Speaker 1: it comes close to what you do. Only because he's funny, Steve.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's how challenged you. Thank you so much. That's here
- 11:02Speaker 1: because he's funny, you know. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, they're
- 11:05Speaker 1: donna stop Steve. You know, but what you do and
- 11:10Speaker 1: and and it's kind of crazy because I'm the type
- 11:12Speaker 1: of person is that y'all believe in somebody and I
- 11:15Speaker 1: don't even have to. I just know their spirit right,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and I know I can I can just break you
- 11:19Speaker 1: down and say this is what you're gonna do. And
- 11:21Speaker 1: watching you, it wasn't until I heard you on the
- 11:23Speaker 1: radio that a bigger Oh my god, I just knew
- 11:28Speaker 1: she was gifted. But she she's telling out some stuff
- 11:31Speaker 1: that I'm just engaged. And you and you're a talker
- 11:33Speaker 1: to you know, you know, do do great radio. You
- 11:36Speaker 1: gotta be able to talk. It's no there there with
- 11:38Speaker 1: this young lad. She got something to say, so she
- 11:41Speaker 1: we won't come right back there. Tell them to go
- 11:42Speaker 1: to break. We're gonna come back and talk about your entrepreneurship.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The coffee and the bad and bath, yes stays and
- 11:47Speaker 1: gentleman boar with a lot of Adams, live money, make conversation.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I already told y'all she talked back. I asked at
- 12:01Speaker 1: one pustion on my car idea. But it's great because
- 12:08Speaker 1: the fact that when I have a guest like you
- 12:11Speaker 1: on this show, I want to be able to talk
- 12:14Speaker 1: about the human side. And I like for people hopefully
- 12:17Speaker 1: leave this live audience or listening on the radio watching
- 12:20Speaker 1: the stream guard. I didn't know shoot that type of mom.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I didn't really know that, you know, I didn't know
- 12:25Speaker 1: shoot that engage because that all they see is glamour.
- 12:27Speaker 1: They see an amazing vocalists. And the thing that I
- 12:32Speaker 1: really wanted you on the show was to talk about
- 12:34Speaker 1: your entrepreneurs side. Yes, and that side a lot of
- 12:36Speaker 1: people don't know about. That is growing because that goes
- 12:39Speaker 1: back to your whole philosophy, different streams of income and
- 12:43Speaker 1: don't I want to be a school teacher? And the
- 12:45Speaker 1: single tell us what it inspired you to? What what
- 12:49Speaker 1: these opportunities that came your way and how do they
- 12:52Speaker 1: connect the dots? Well, first of all, it starts again
- 12:55Speaker 1: with great parenting and great grandparenting. My father as an
- 13:00Speaker 1: educator and an entrepreneur. He was involved with am Way.
- 13:05Speaker 1: He was also involved with Oh my God, so many
- 13:08Speaker 1: other type of entrepreneurial things that you know African American
- 13:13Speaker 1: men could be at that time. And we would have
- 13:16Speaker 1: discussions as we were filling orders. Now remember I'm eleven
- 13:21Speaker 1: and twelve years old, so my dad is talking about
- 13:24Speaker 1: you know, God intended for all of us to do
- 13:28Speaker 1: as much with our lives as we possibly could before
- 13:31Speaker 1: we go back to Heaven, Okay. And so that included
- 13:37Speaker 1: knowing that if he puts seven streams in the garden,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you can have actually seven streams of income. And I
- 13:45Speaker 1: learned that at eleven and twelve years old. So it
- 13:51Speaker 1: was automatic for me to think of more than one
- 13:55Speaker 1: way of sustaining myself in life when I got out
- 13:59Speaker 1: of college. But you have a brand, yeah, I do.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Brand and social media points vocalist author. Even if I
- 14:06Speaker 1: have to say being a mom is a brand, yes,
- 14:09Speaker 1: it is. So when you started looking for products that
- 14:11Speaker 1: will match what you're trying to create sustain, that should
- 14:16Speaker 1: say it also break credibility because exactly a lot of
- 14:18Speaker 1: people offer you a lot of things that you can
- 14:19Speaker 1: sign your names, but does that match, does that have
- 14:22Speaker 1: long term relationship with you? So the coffee, let's talk
- 14:26Speaker 1: about the coffee right here. Well, you know, my dad
- 14:28Speaker 1: also said find something that you can't live without, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: chances are people can't live without it either. And so
- 14:37Speaker 1: I love coffee. I drink coffee in the mornings, not
- 14:41Speaker 1: just to wake me up, but because I like not
- 14:47Speaker 1: just because I like the taste. You know, I grew
- 14:49Speaker 1: up with it. You know, it was in my grandma's house,
- 14:51Speaker 1: my my, my, my, our house, and so now it's
- 14:55Speaker 1: in my house. And um, I knew that it was
- 15:00Speaker 1: something that I could develop because I knew the taste.
- 15:04Speaker 1: It's not like, oh, somebody said, oh, hey, we want
- 15:07Speaker 1: you to put your name on this coffee. I can't
- 15:10Speaker 1: do that because I'm responsible for everybody that is under
- 15:15Speaker 1: my voice or in my you know, under my ministry,
- 15:17Speaker 1: or sees me I'm responsible for what they say, what
- 15:21Speaker 1: I put out there, right, and so said, you know
- 15:25Speaker 1: all these people who Starbucks, you got all this competition.
- 15:29Speaker 1: How does you lie the alum, I'm gonna put my
- 15:32Speaker 1: name on a coffee and it's gonna make sense to
- 15:35Speaker 1: people to go purchase it. I know you have a
- 15:37Speaker 1: fan base, but I know yourselfes are beyond your fan base.
- 15:40Speaker 1: How are you accomplishing that a mass? This is what
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is that this is a classic example.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Why don't you get into the coffee Starbucks everywhere? Why
- 15:48Speaker 1: would you do that? How do you knock down that
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it anyway? Well, first of all, you
- 15:53Speaker 1: can't fear. You know, if you if you base your
- 15:57Speaker 1: life on fear, I was already ill there, and you
- 16:01Speaker 1: know that God is telling you know you can do
- 16:04Speaker 1: it better. But because I'm not trying to reinvent coffee,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I'm just trying to make coffee better. I'm not reinventing
- 16:14Speaker 1: uh body wash and Soux Flay. I made it, I
- 16:19Speaker 1: know what I'm just saying. And and see I'm I
- 16:22Speaker 1: have the pleasure of having my roaster here in Texas,
- 16:27Speaker 1: So it's not like I'm having to call somebody in um,
- 16:31Speaker 1: let's just a Dallas or Colorado or you know those
- 16:35Speaker 1: cooler climates where people are doing it. I have my roaster,
- 16:39Speaker 1: private family roaster here in Houston, and so I can
- 16:43Speaker 1: go over to the roaster and I can say, you
- 16:46Speaker 1: know what I thought about. I was in the UH
- 16:48Speaker 1: and this actually did happen like this. I was in
- 16:51Speaker 1: the airport and I and I smelt this like apricot,
- 16:55Speaker 1: kind of vanilla, kind of like, oh, we can do
- 16:58Speaker 1: that for you. So we came up with our own
- 17:01Speaker 1: hazel nut cookie coffee. Oh wow, so you have different, different,
- 17:08Speaker 1: different flavors everything. I'm telling you, I am a coffee person.
- 17:12Speaker 1: This is not just me saying oh yeah, trying my
- 17:15Speaker 1: coffee good. But no, it is me really tasting every
- 17:21Speaker 1: every type that we have, you know. And and for
- 17:24Speaker 1: those of my friends who have a caffeine sensitivity, we
- 17:28Speaker 1: have decaf and all of those also. So I am
- 17:33Speaker 1: very aware of what's around me. I ain't scared of Starbucks.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I ain't scared of the coffee bean. I ain't scared
- 17:40Speaker 1: of none of that. She ain't scary. I mean, let's
- 17:46Speaker 1: talk about favor, because favor happens in your life, in
- 17:50Speaker 1: every aspect of your life. If God gave me favor
- 17:54Speaker 1: in music, what stops him from giving me favoring business?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Nothing but my oh imagination or limitation. And so I
- 18:04Speaker 1: never thought about Starbucks when I did my coffee, and
- 18:07Speaker 1: so said, how do they get your call? Oh my gosh.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You can go to your line Adam fly uh dot
- 18:13Speaker 1: com and it tells you everything about the coffee. It
- 18:17Speaker 1: gives you these great stories, these little vignette of how
- 18:21Speaker 1: I went in poured the coffee. I'm almost a barrister,
- 18:26Speaker 1: were not quite an like eighteen more months to become
- 18:30Speaker 1: like you know, you know, I got that coffee down.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You know that. So I have to carve out time
- 18:39Speaker 1: to do that. But I am so excited everything in
- 18:41Speaker 1: my life. And I can tell you this because you
- 18:43Speaker 1: know how how we live. Everything in my life, I'm
- 18:46Speaker 1: so excited and passionate about God gives us all purpose.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But what are you passionate about? Are you passionate about
- 18:54Speaker 1: your purpose? If you're a nurse, are you passionate about
- 18:57Speaker 1: going to the hospital every day blessing people you know?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Are you passionate about helping young kids get to college?
- 19:04Speaker 1: Are you passionate about it. Because the thing is God
- 19:07Speaker 1: has blessed every one of us with every tool and
- 19:10Speaker 1: talent we need to succeed, but very few of us
- 19:13Speaker 1: will take that leap of faith and do something, because
- 19:18Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. And I always say all
- 19:24Speaker 1: business plans, business plans, well, well, but but remember a
- 19:29Speaker 1: business plan is part of the faith. But a lot
- 19:31Speaker 1: of people forget that. Yeah, well, you know you gotta
- 19:34Speaker 1: do you do dealing. That's why we got to show
- 19:36Speaker 1: that's right. I'm the reminder of what you forgot. We
- 19:40Speaker 1: both we both seate no, because I think that's what
- 19:49Speaker 1: the problem is. People tend to separate faith from everything,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and you cannot your spiritual being living in a natural world,
- 19:58Speaker 1: you know. And what there does, I'm telling you what
- 20:01Speaker 1: God does is he gives you the plan like he
- 20:04Speaker 1: gave me the plan for this because the simply Yolanda,
- 20:08Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I mean, it's another one of my babies.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And Mom's in the room, you know, moms and dad's
- 20:13Speaker 1: in the room. You know what I mean about babies.
- 20:16Speaker 1: We birth them and we look at them take a
- 20:18Speaker 1: life of their own. And what happened with me is
- 20:22Speaker 1: older I got of course, I can afford to get
- 20:26Speaker 1: anything that I need. The problem is I have twenty
- 20:31Speaker 1: million people following me while you know, at any given time,
- 20:36Speaker 1: So what happens to my fan who needs a body
- 20:40Speaker 1: wash that's moisturizing now because she's over forty five and
- 20:45Speaker 1: uh and and she needs a souffle a or a
- 20:48Speaker 1: lotion that will stay on and then make her feel
- 20:52Speaker 1: better about her skin and herself. I developed this because
- 20:56Speaker 1: of a need that I had, and then if found
- 21:00Speaker 1: out after I started letting my girlfriends try it, they
- 21:03Speaker 1: were like, wait a minute, I have eczema and I
- 21:06Speaker 1: am noticing that my skin is a lot better. What
- 21:09Speaker 1: did you put in it? Well? Here, here's where the
- 21:11Speaker 1: faith comes in with the business. A lot of times
- 21:15Speaker 1: we don't ask God for business plan because we think, oh,
- 21:19Speaker 1: he's too busy, or it doesn't he doesn't he shouldn't
- 21:22Speaker 1: be included in business. I said, what would make my
- 21:26Speaker 1: product different? God? He said, I want you to add murrh,
- 21:32Speaker 1: Because murrh is a healer. It's a rejuvenator. It's a regenerator.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And so what it does is that it helps the
- 21:40Speaker 1: sell turnover of your of your dead cells, gets rid
- 21:45Speaker 1: of them, and then it adds what you need, whatever
- 21:48Speaker 1: your body needs, it adds to it. And I know,
- 21:52Speaker 1: you know, there are people listening like, now, what does
- 21:54Speaker 1: that mean? It means that you're gonna ask God, what
- 21:56Speaker 1: do I put in my business plan? How? What do
- 21:58Speaker 1: I tell the chemists to put my product? Because you
- 22:00Speaker 1: have to work with because you gotta work with Chimis,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta know what you're doing. And so
- 22:06Speaker 1: I found that, you know, because I looked at the
- 22:09Speaker 1: product with it, and I looked at the product without it.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I used the product with it, and I used the
- 22:14Speaker 1: product without it because I'm my own test dummy or
- 22:17Speaker 1: I shouldn't say dummy, test genius, since we call them things.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And though they already are, I told you an the floor.
- 22:30Speaker 1: But but but what I found is that even without
- 22:33Speaker 1: the murr, it was a great product. But there's something
- 22:36Speaker 1: that happened when I obeyed God and put the Murr
- 22:40Speaker 1: in because I use it every day and it's not
- 22:44Speaker 1: too harsh. You know, you can actually, if you have
- 22:47Speaker 1: your favorite uh perfume cologne, you can actually use it
- 22:53Speaker 1: on top. You can layer it on top all of
- 22:56Speaker 1: its available in the stores. With you You're just gonna
- 23:00Speaker 1: keep it online. We are we are actually uh sixty
- 23:04Speaker 1: days before we are in the store. Okay, cool results, Yes, yeah,
- 23:10Speaker 1: you know the the amazing thing about. Let's just tell
- 23:13Speaker 1: a couple of notes about Yolanda and my relationship UM
- 23:17Speaker 1: Neighborhood Awards, which is an uplifting program for small business
- 23:21Speaker 1: and everyday people and keep their spirits and let them
- 23:24Speaker 1: know that they can be recognized in a successful manner.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Um I. She would come every year, either perform or present.
- 23:32Speaker 1: And you know, you keep asking somebody you want to
- 23:34Speaker 1: stop you because you think you bother. She called me
- 23:37Speaker 1: one day, go Rosan, uh are you tripping? Yes, I said,
- 23:45Speaker 1: I said, hold on, I didn't want to pouty. This
- 23:47Speaker 1: is this is not part of this part of her.
- 23:49Speaker 1: This is part of her process. If you've seen anything
- 23:51Speaker 1: about her today, she believes in you, guys, anything. Anytime
- 23:55Speaker 1: she gets an opportunity to the uplift or show you
- 23:58Speaker 1: the right door to open, she's going to be there
- 24:00Speaker 1: for you. And I think that that is why it's
- 24:02Speaker 1: important that I recognize you for your greatness, your commonness,
- 24:06Speaker 1: your ability to be special, and the fact that you're
- 24:08Speaker 1: able to communicate it with a social radio wire and
- 24:11Speaker 1: I think people are finding how big of a funny
- 24:14Speaker 1: person you are your commedia, you know, if they they've
- 24:16Speaker 1: gotten that out today, because I want to show those
- 24:18Speaker 1: different sizes, because people would go, she's a gospel saying
- 24:21Speaker 1: that you know, I want when you listen to a
- 24:23Speaker 1: radio show, she's gonna entertain, she's gonna uplift you, and
- 24:26Speaker 1: she's gonna inform you, and more importantly, when you when
- 24:29Speaker 1: you turn off the dial, she's gonna make you feel good.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I got the
- 24:34Speaker 1: debt to wrap up, but I don't want to wrap
- 24:37Speaker 1: up because I have so much more I want to
- 24:38Speaker 1: talk about. Because you have a radio show that's coming
- 24:41Speaker 1: over here. K yeah, I have to talk about that.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Let's talk about that. Let's talk about the radio launch
- 24:46Speaker 1: and all that stuff. Radio launch next week July six.

- 25:05Speaker 1: That's my hair. It's like amazing, And and you beforeward thinking.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I love being around people who think future because a
- 25:16Speaker 1: lot of our friends talk about what they used to
- 25:18Speaker 1: do and they, oh my gosh. I love trophies, I
- 25:22Speaker 1: love monuments. I go to d c in places to
- 25:24Speaker 1: see statues all the time. But I am not going
- 25:29Speaker 1: to bless you in the past. I gotta bless you
- 25:34Speaker 1: right now and tomorrow, because you know, I mean, that's
- 25:38Speaker 1: just the way God works. If he wanted to have
- 25:41Speaker 1: everything stopped, he could have said, Okay, on the seventh day,
- 25:43Speaker 1: this is it. I'm done. I'm not going to even
- 25:46Speaker 1: create the rest of the world. It's just me and
- 25:48Speaker 1: myself and I'm proud of myself, and that's done. That's
- 25:50Speaker 1: gonna happen. But it's not gonna happen next Thursday. Sex
