- 3:07Speaker 1: nowt wanted all. It's Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Well all right. I learned something and in sharing time,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and I am all ever appreciate it. I do appreciate
- 3:26Speaker 1: God for all that he allows me to learn in
- 3:29Speaker 1: my life and what I've learned. One of the best
- 3:34Speaker 1: lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you some great lessons.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Challenges brings about some of my best results. I think
- 3:51Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say is and every challenge and hardship,
- 3:57Speaker 1: every setback, I've learned something so so valuable and it
- 4:04Speaker 1: comes it just comes down to all all. It just
- 4:07Speaker 1: comes down to how you look at it. You know, um,
- 4:12Speaker 1: if you've all heard this, we've all heard it. You
- 4:15Speaker 1: can look at the glass and you can see it
- 4:17Speaker 1: half empty or half full. It's amazing how many people
- 4:21Speaker 1: see the glass half empty. I am telling you right now,
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's better to see the glass half full. See you
- 4:30Speaker 1: can you? You come away with a lot more when
- 4:33Speaker 1: you use a positive approach. So here's here's what I've
- 4:39Speaker 1: You know, I've known this, but I've just learned it
- 4:41Speaker 1: at a different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key
- 4:48Speaker 1: to having more. Appreciation and gratitude is the keep is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the key to continued blessings. Appreciation ingratitude is the key
- 5:03Speaker 1: to open it up the windows of heaven to pull
- 5:06Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have rude enough to receive. Now,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 5:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how true it is. Okay, let's look
- 5:21Speaker 1: at it this way. God being fair and just as
- 5:25Speaker 1: he really is. He really is. He's a fair and
- 5:28Speaker 1: a just God. What's most beneficial to us is he
- 5:32Speaker 1: happens to be full of mercy and grace. And I'm
- 5:39Speaker 1: telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his grace
- 5:46Speaker 1: and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 5:57Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not I'm not hearing this position today.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm just not. But a funny thing has happened along
- 6:08Speaker 1: the way, even to you, if you look at it,
- 6:13Speaker 1: is it your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the
- 6:17Speaker 1: key to you having more for your continued blessings and
- 6:24Speaker 1: for making room for having to open up and pour
- 6:28Speaker 1: out blessings that you don't have room enough to receive.
- 6:31Speaker 1: If you look at it, see God being a fair
- 6:34Speaker 1: and just god, which he is, why would he put
- 6:40Speaker 1: more on you than you can bad? If you've noticed
- 6:44Speaker 1: everything that's happened in your life, if you're still here,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you've made it. You don't forget how rough it was,
- 6:51Speaker 1: got that, but you made it, Forget what it sent
- 6:56Speaker 1: you through when it hid, made you feel made it. Now,
- 7:02Speaker 1: what makes people give up, and you hear about people
- 7:05Speaker 1: committing suicide, is they leave the God out of their
- 7:08Speaker 1: life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 7:15Speaker 1: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 7:18Speaker 1: stay connected to God, you can get through anything. But
- 7:22Speaker 1: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 7:28Speaker 1: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 7:32Speaker 1: with God, then who you have in a relationship with
- 7:36Speaker 1: Now it's and and it ain't but two forces at
- 7:39Speaker 1: work at all time. It's good and evil. It's positive
- 7:46Speaker 1: and negative is God is Satan? Now this this is
- 7:51Speaker 1: at work all the time. So if you're not being
- 7:56Speaker 1: positive about everything, you leave room for negativity to step
- 7:59Speaker 1: in it. If you if you're not trying to be
- 8:03Speaker 1: righteous in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 8:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God. Come on, now,
- 8:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: asking you to understand that God never puts more on
- 8:21Speaker 1: you than you can bar. Okay, now that we got
- 8:24Speaker 1: that clear, that's a fact. Okay. Now with that fact
- 8:27Speaker 1: in mind, let's go over this right here. Why would God,
- 8:30Speaker 1: being as just and merciful as he is, put more
- 8:35Speaker 1: on you than you can bear? Example, if God has
- 8:39Speaker 1: given you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about them,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it, why
- 8:48Speaker 1: would he give you some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 8:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for. I mean, this
- 9:00Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 9:02Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 9:05Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having and and
- 9:08Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 9:11Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 9:14Speaker 1: appreciation for the things he has done for me. Start
- 9:17Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key to
- 9:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings, is the
- 9:25Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 9:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 9:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 9:40Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 9:44Speaker 1: you've shown no gratuation, no, no gratitude for the minimal,
- 9:50Speaker 1: why would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm
- 9:55Speaker 1: just really just trying to put it real, real simple,
- 9:58Speaker 1: so I can keep under standing this thing right here.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So let me give you an example in my life.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I had gotten so busy at one point that I
- 10:09Speaker 1: had began to complain about how busy I was. This
- 10:15Speaker 1: is true because I am busy, but it ain't the
- 10:19Speaker 1: busy part, because I asked to be busy, you know,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I asked God to give me opportunities and to make
- 10:26Speaker 1: a way for me. Well, in that, you got to
- 10:28Speaker 1: do something, and you got to get busy, But I would.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I began to complain about the business and how busy
- 10:36Speaker 1: I was, and I noticed that a couple of things
- 10:39Speaker 1: slowed up for me. So I had got to the
- 10:43Speaker 1: point where I wasn't showing real gratitude for it. Well,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I looked up and a couple of things started slowing down,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and then I had to catch myself, and I went, wow, man,
- 10:53Speaker 1: you have got to start embracing the fact that you
- 10:57Speaker 1: are this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes
- 11:01Speaker 1: along with it. Because to whom much is given, much
- 11:03Speaker 1: is required. You got to start embracing the requirement part
- 11:08Speaker 1: if you want to continue with the giving part. So
- 11:11Speaker 1: I changed my attitude. I caught myself, and I started
- 11:14Speaker 1: thinking him and showing real gratitude for how busy I was,
- 11:17Speaker 1: instead of complaining about how busy I was, and then
- 11:20Speaker 1: guess what, it opened up the windows of heaven and
- 11:23Speaker 1: some more blessings got poured out. It just works that
- 11:26Speaker 1: way all the time, for everybody, for me, for you,
- 11:29Speaker 1: for everybody. So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 11:34Speaker 1: is the key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 11:38Speaker 1: is the key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and
- 11:41Speaker 1: gratitude it's the only way that you can get those
- 11:45Speaker 1: windows of heaven to open up and pull out these
- 11:47Speaker 1: blessings that you won't have room enough to receive. You
- 11:50Speaker 1: gotta act like you're glad for what you got in
- 11:52Speaker 1: order to get more. You feel me, let's go. You're
- 11:56Speaker 1: listening to show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, have
- 12:05Speaker 1: your attention, please it is I, oh, by cause Noby,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I don't even know who that is. No, I don't
- 12:18Speaker 1: know which one it is, which one old? Right, I
- 12:25Speaker 1: just saying, I don't even know why I did that.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I'm I don't know the older one. I don't know
- 12:30Speaker 1: the younger. I tell you, I've never seen Star Wars. No,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I've never seen any of the Star Wars. I never
- 12:41Speaker 1: saw et. No, I never saw none of the Avenger movies.

- 13:14Speaker 1: do the killing, keep all that lone range killing, special powers.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You come over here with a ball nailed to a stick. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and now let's see who wins. Man come on getting

- 14:01Speaker 1: saw a part of color purple, hold on, you've never
- 14:05Speaker 1: seen the whole thing. I just saw it was on
- 14:07Speaker 1: something that it was just done not too long ago. Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I saw Roots once. Never watch that again. I can't
- 14:19Speaker 1: watch it. I can't watch that's not a do over
- 14:23Speaker 1: movie ever. A new one was good. Yeah, I heard it.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I heard it was really good. I've never had to
- 14:29Speaker 1: see Roots again. It was too much anger, way too
- 14:34Speaker 1: much anger for me. I say that had just hate
- 14:45Speaker 1: for me. I was so disappointed. But you know, hey,
- 14:52Speaker 1: my life in a movie. If somebody was to do
- 14:54Speaker 1: that one day, it's unbelievable. So, Timmy, if you had
- 14:58Speaker 1: a movie, what would your name about yourself? What would
- 15:02Speaker 1: it be called? Stupid on the Rise? That's right? Damn?
- 15:11Speaker 1: What was your movie? Now? Yeah, that's already been a movie, right, goggles?

- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm writing a list now, guys. So it's so sad
- 19:29Speaker 1: he left a child's that's the question who this that's
- 19:34Speaker 1: really the question. Who we need to call child Protective
- 19:37Speaker 1: Services because somebody left their baby with Shelly. They all
- 19:42Speaker 1: y'all need to go jail. It reminds me of that time.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Um My mother was still alive and Sheridan was a baby,
- 19:50Speaker 1: and I took Sheridan out this day. So we came

- 42:33Speaker 1: know they mad what said boy say Huckabee, the pawn joke,
- 42:37Speaker 1: all this stuff in the New Well, the woman was
- 42:40Speaker 1: on fire, and I support her for well, you're not
- 42:43Speaker 1: the only one. Dave Chappelle supports her as well. He
- 42:46Speaker 1: agrees with Michelle Wolfe. Take a listen to day. I
- 42:49Speaker 1: really respected what I saw. I don't know who those
- 42:51Speaker 1: people think they are that she she can't say that
- 42:54Speaker 1: to them. Stay offend people all the time. And I
- 42:57Speaker 1: think that for many people, not every body who watched it,
- 43:00Speaker 1: but for many people it's cautharity to watch that woman
- 43:04Speaker 1: speak truth to power like that, and whether they understand
- 43:07Speaker 1: it or that, there was a nose amount of levity
- 43:09Speaker 1: and what she did, but it was very flat footed
- 43:13Speaker 1: and it was grounded in her truth. And whether I
- 43:15Speaker 1: agree with it or that, I gotta respect the artistry.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I gotta respect the gangster. I know how hard it
- 43:22Speaker 1: is to do what she did in front of lane crowd,
- 43:26Speaker 1: and she I think she nailed it. I thought it
- 43:28Speaker 1: was beautiful. I didn't see her panda once and I
- 43:32Speaker 1: thought that was beauty. Respect her artists, but you know,
- 43:38Speaker 1: it's amazing how much stuff can come from this White
- 43:43Speaker 1: House that's offensive. But then when some get targeted at
- 43:47Speaker 1: the White House, not everybody want to pull the curtains up. Hey,
- 43:52Speaker 1: you can't there. You won't let your blinds down. Now,
- 43:54Speaker 1: I'll see you can't live in the glass house, and
- 43:57Speaker 1: those don't. You can say, grab him into peace. You
- 44:00Speaker 1: can say that open. It's all open. I'm sorry, man,
- 44:07Speaker 1: it's all open. You can't. And you know comedy, now, man,
- 44:11Speaker 1: we're being hurt where we can't say anything about anything.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Here's a problem with come. No matter what joke you
- 44:18Speaker 1: tell is going to offend someone because the joke has
- 44:22Speaker 1: to be about somebody. Now, what we hope to do
- 44:25Speaker 1: as comedians is we're playing the numbers game. We're hoping
- 44:29Speaker 1: that it's funnier to weigh more people than it is offensive.
- 44:33Speaker 1: But the person you're talking about are the people who
- 44:35Speaker 1: are similar to the people you're talking about here, they
- 44:37Speaker 1: come he talking about us. You can't say that. Why not?
- 44:41Speaker 1: It's it's done in the vein of comedy. It's like
- 44:44Speaker 1: the few that's going on between Jimmy Kimmel and Hannity.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Hannity is mad at Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Kimmel is
- 44:50Speaker 1: mad at Hannity. Now handed it and took a bit,
- 44:53Speaker 1: a bit a joke from an old show Kimmel was on,
- 44:57Speaker 1: and it's causing him now to to say saying he's
- 45:00Speaker 1: woman bashing and doing this stuff. Kim I told him
- 45:03Speaker 1: it was done in joke for Yeah, but the bashing
- 45:07Speaker 1: they're doing this is real life. You know what numbers
- 45:11Speaker 1: game is. We won't be funny the way more people
- 45:14Speaker 1: than it is. Uh, you said, he's a numbers game.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It's a numbers game. We're just hoping that what we're
- 45:20Speaker 1: saying about someone or something or some group it's funnier
- 45:24Speaker 1: to the masses than it is. Hated. That's a numbers game.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Much what we do with Tommy. Go ahead, Yeah, you
- 45:31Speaker 1: cannot tell us single joke that doesn't offend someone. There
- 45:36Speaker 1: is no subject that everybody finds funny. If you make
- 45:40Speaker 1: a joke about cotton candy, here comes somebody telling about, well,
- 45:44Speaker 1: who picked the cotton? Why we always got talked about cotton?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Who my friend is a diabetic and they accidentally ate
- 45:51Speaker 1: some cotton. Yeah, hey, man, I was doing the joke
- 45:56Speaker 1: on stage one night about a do driving drunk or
- 46:00Speaker 1: Moman came up to me after the show and said,
- 46:02Speaker 1: you ruined my night. Yeah, my daughter was hit by
- 46:06Speaker 1: a drunk driver. I came here to have a good
- 46:10Speaker 1: time and you bought it all back to me. That
- 46:13Speaker 1: was so thoughtless of you. I'm going, how are you
- 46:17Speaker 1: supposed to know that? I ain't know you was coming.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I don't know you. I didn't get the memo, so
- 46:27Speaker 1: I didn't see the autor. So I'm apologized. Just get
- 46:33Speaker 1: stuck in comedy a lot of time. All right, nephew Tommy,
- 46:36Speaker 1: we're going there to his prank phone call right after this.
- 46:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show coming up at the
- 46:44Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right about four minutes after it's
- 46:47Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters subject, something ain't right with my fiance
- 46:52Speaker 1: and his b f F. But right now it is
- 46:58Speaker 1: the King of Frank's the nephew the spring phone call
- 47:00Speaker 1: for today. What you got now? You married your brother?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Huh you married your brother? What you married your brother?
- 47:11Speaker 1: What you married your brother? Running? Hello? Hello, I'm trying
- 47:18Speaker 1: to reach your common Hi, Carmen, my name is Keith
- 47:23Speaker 1: Keeping some calling you from insurance group. Hi. How are
- 47:27Speaker 1: you good? You and your husband? Uh? What is it? Harvey? Harvey?
- 47:31Speaker 1: Is that right? Okay? You guys actually put applications and
- 47:36Speaker 1: actually winning and got your physicals done for Life insurance, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 47:39Speaker 1: that's correct. Okay. I actually I'm calling you from the
- 47:42Speaker 1: insurance group. I have you alls, lab results and everything
- 47:45Speaker 1: as far as your physicals and blood tests and things
- 47:48Speaker 1: of that nature. Is there any way I could possibly
- 47:52Speaker 1: talk to both of you guys at the same time,
- 47:53Speaker 1: You and Harvey. Is that possible? Um? Well, sure he's
- 47:57Speaker 1: at right now, but I can get him on the side. Okay,
- 48:00Speaker 1: It would be Uh, it'd be kind of easy if
- 48:02Speaker 1: I kind of explained everything to both of you guys
- 48:04Speaker 1: at the same time. Is that if that's okay? Okay? Wrong? Uh, No,
- 48:08Speaker 1: nothing's wrong. I mean I think I need to just
- 48:10Speaker 1: try to bring a few things that you guys attention.
- 48:11Speaker 1: But I think you know after that, it's pretty much
- 48:14Speaker 1: you guys decision on what you do. But I just
- 48:15Speaker 1: wanted to let you know a few things about you know,
- 48:18Speaker 1: the results and things that that named your life insurance
- 48:20Speaker 1: the whole nine yards. Okay, Okay, head on, let me
- 48:24Speaker 1: see talking to them on the phone. Hey, babe, hey
- 48:31Speaker 1: sweet a. Right, Um, look, I got the insurance people
- 48:34Speaker 1: on the line. They want to get both of us
- 48:36Speaker 1: on the phone, uh, to talk to us about the
- 48:38Speaker 1: insurance stuff. Hey, Harvey, are you doing this? Is Keith
- 48:42Speaker 1: Keep from the insurance group. How are you? Hey? Good
- 48:46Speaker 1: with that? Nikki? Good? Good? Listen. Um, I wanted to
- 48:49Speaker 1: give you guys a call and kind of follow up.
- 48:50Speaker 1: And you guys did physicals and blood tests and the
- 48:53Speaker 1: whole nine yards, and I wanted to give you guys
- 48:55Speaker 1: a call. It's kind of better if I talked to
- 48:57Speaker 1: both of you guys at the same time. So do
- 48:58Speaker 1: you have a minute that we can ask used to
- 49:01Speaker 1: kind of get some of this information out to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'm fine. I'm gonna break right now. I'm good. Okay, great.
- 49:06Speaker 1: First of all, we've gotten all your your lab results
- 49:08Speaker 1: back everything, and I kind of got a few questions
- 49:11Speaker 1: for you guys that I'm a little puzzled on. How
- 49:14Speaker 1: long have you guys actually been married. We've been again
- 49:17Speaker 1: about two years, okay, now prior to being married three years.
- 49:22Speaker 1: How long did you guys know each other before you
- 49:23Speaker 1: got married? About five and a half five six kids? Okay,
- 49:29Speaker 1: you guys have been knowing each other pretty close to
- 49:31Speaker 1: nine years now all together. Yeah, okay, are you actually
- 49:34Speaker 1: from the same hometowns? You grew up in the same hometown? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 49:40Speaker 1: we grew up. I mean if I'm I'm sorry, is
- 49:42Speaker 1: this question I mean, is this about the insurance or well,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I mean there are a few things that that actually
- 49:48Speaker 1: uh puzzling, Carmen that we need to this this this
- 49:54Speaker 1: is actually didn't want to bring you guys. I mean
- 49:56Speaker 1: we have to. I have to actually give you this news.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Looking at our records, looking at all the test results,
- 50:02Speaker 1: and let me be the first to tell you that
- 50:04Speaker 1: we run these results over and over and over trying
- 50:07Speaker 1: to make sure we are completely a hundred and right. Okay,
- 50:11Speaker 1: it's a problem with the test. Well, looking at our
- 50:14Speaker 1: test guys, Harvey Garment it's indicating that you guys are related.
- 50:21Speaker 1: And nine times I attend you are you guys are siblings? Man?
- 50:28Speaker 1: What and I understand the shot. It took me. It
- 50:33Speaker 1: took everything I had to make this phone call. I
- 50:35Speaker 1: did not want to make it. But looking at our records,
- 50:38Speaker 1: and we went over these records over and over and
- 50:41Speaker 1: and and the blow works tells us that you guys
- 50:43Speaker 1: are actually siblings. Man, help, are you seriously? You do
- 50:55Speaker 1: this is not that this is not a laughing matter,
- 50:57Speaker 1: not a joking matter. You know, Like I said that,
- 51:00Speaker 1: I did not want to call with this information? What
- 51:02Speaker 1: you did make the call? Man? Look you, I don't
- 51:07Speaker 1: know what. You need to go back and and and
- 51:09Speaker 1: double check your records or something. Because we've been married
- 51:13Speaker 1: three brief check with the laugh man, can you check
- 51:17Speaker 1: with the laugh and like paul us back and I
- 51:21Speaker 1: knew those questions would have come up, and we we
- 51:23Speaker 1: went over it. We went over it and over and
- 51:25Speaker 1: over it. Y'all need to go over again because oh babe,
- 51:31Speaker 1: I got this. You make the call and this gotta
- 51:35Speaker 1: be wrong. So what you need to do is make
- 51:37Speaker 1: another call and call the lab and call us back
- 51:40Speaker 1: and let us know that you either so they made
- 51:42Speaker 1: a mistake or are you talking about me and my wife?
- 51:46Speaker 1: And I understand it hard, Harry. Let me ask you this,
- 51:48Speaker 1: is it possible, you know, and this is just a question.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Is it possible that your dad and maybe her mom
- 51:55Speaker 1: maybe knew each other at some point and you saying
- 51:59Speaker 1: by my mom and that that that's so strange. Look
- 52:02Speaker 1: at you need to haven, go back and do whatever
- 52:04Speaker 1: you need to do. But I think you what you
- 52:06Speaker 1: say something like that again, I think my back is
- 52:09Speaker 1: gonna be coming down that beat. Your saying like that,
- 52:12Speaker 1: hold on baby, old baby, baby, baby, hold baby, I
- 52:14Speaker 1: got this hold on baby, I had a baby. I
- 52:18Speaker 1: gotta say how you're gonna call me with you what
- 52:22Speaker 1: you don't know? You from a people due like that?
- 52:24Speaker 1: But that ain't a'm on doing, sir. Is bringing you
- 52:27Speaker 1: the result or don't you bring me results? Him personally
- 52:30Speaker 1: that I whop you, That's what I'm talking about. He knows. Hey, sorry,
- 52:34Speaker 1: even if you beat the messenger at the end of
- 52:36Speaker 1: the day, that's still your sister. At the end of
- 52:38Speaker 1: the day, I'm gonna want you. Look, I don't care
- 52:40Speaker 1: what he's talking about. Nothing. He ain't my damn brother. Got.
- 52:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna find out you off whatever jupicle you in.
- 52:47Speaker 1: You're gonna call me something about brother. It's my wife.
- 52:51Speaker 1: I am having that song somewhere down the line. Somebody
- 52:54Speaker 1: made a mistake and you guys, my brother and sister
- 52:57Speaker 1: got married. I'm not at far for that. Well, let
- 52:59Speaker 1: me is gonna stick of colleague. He's on one of
- 53:02Speaker 1: these numbers again and don't like so. I got one result.

- 53:11Speaker 1: about them? Well else you got to say. Now it's
- 53:13Speaker 1: gonna be worting. The only other touch resolt I have, ma'am,
- 53:16Speaker 1: is that this is nephew taught me from the Steve
- 53:18Speaker 1: Harby Morning Show. You just got pranked by your girlfriend.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I told you like her. I got one thing I
- 53:38Speaker 1: got to ask both of y'all what is the baddest
- 53:41Speaker 1: And I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 53:45Speaker 1: Harvey morn To show. It's possible to marry your siblings.
- 53:57Speaker 1: If you didn't know, you do know that though you
- 54:01Speaker 1: all don't look alike something, why y'all think that's not possible?
- 54:08Speaker 1: We can't just can't go along, okay, Steves, Quiet alright,
- 54:18Speaker 1: We're getting more details on the altercation Quevo from them
- 54:23Speaker 1: goes Um got into it this past weekend in Las Vegas, Okay.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Despite initial reports at Quevo wasn't the one who punched
- 54:30Speaker 1: a valet, Quevo has reportedly been charged with battery. Law
- 54:34Speaker 1: enforcement sources say that the Encore Hotel and casino employee
- 54:38Speaker 1: told Quevo to move his vehicle so an ambulance could
- 54:41Speaker 1: pull up. Unwilling to comply, Quevo and three of his
- 54:44Speaker 1: boys reportedly put hands on the valet. Hotel security detained
- 54:48Speaker 1: all four men and cops were called, but no one
- 54:52Speaker 1: was arrested. Cardi b was also present, uh, though security
- 54:56Speaker 1: reportedly whisked her into the hotel to keep her safe.
- 54:59Speaker 1: So there you go. We make money move Yeah good, Yeah, yeah,
- 55:08Speaker 1: that's my dude. Damn, man, I don't know what happened.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I don't I've learned not to come and I'm so scared.
- 55:14Speaker 1: You can't say nothing. No, man, I'm telling you, every
- 55:18Speaker 1: time you say something, man, they take a clip and
- 55:20Speaker 1: they just eat you alive. It's like, damn, if you
- 55:23Speaker 1: don't have an opinion that praises someone, then you're politically incorrect.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Absolutely all right. We gotta move on and get to
- 55:34Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter. It's coming up next the subject something

- 57:46Speaker 1: we got it for you here. It is a Strawberry
- 57:47Speaker 1: letter subject something Ain't right with my fiance and his bff.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I reconnected with an old high school
- 57:55Speaker 1: flame in January, and we got engaged a couple of
- 57:58Speaker 1: weeks ago. Well before he asked me to marry him,
- 58:02Speaker 1: he told me about his female best friend. He told
- 58:05Speaker 1: me that he had sex with his best friend years ago,
- 58:07Speaker 1: but they didn't have any romantic feelings whatsoever for each other. Now,
- 58:12Speaker 1: of course, I was very uncomfortable with their friendship, but
- 58:15Speaker 1: I didn't stress about it because I overheard him telling
- 58:18Speaker 1: her how much he loves me and that I'm the one.
- 58:22Speaker 1: This past weekend, my fiance invited his best friend to
- 58:26Speaker 1: lunch so I could meet her. Lunch was going great.
- 58:29Speaker 1: We were talking and laughing, but then the best friend
- 58:33Speaker 1: just got quiet. I looked over at this half and
- 58:36Speaker 1: she was sitting there crying. My fiance asked her what
- 58:40Speaker 1: was wrong, and she said, she feels like he is
- 58:42Speaker 1: going to forget about her when he marries me. My
- 58:46Speaker 1: fiance has a nerve to tell her that that would
- 58:48Speaker 1: never happen. She stood up and told him that their
- 58:51Speaker 1: friendship was over, and she stormed out of the restaurant.
- 58:55Speaker 1: My fiance and I sat in silence for the rest
- 58:57Speaker 1: of the meal. He hasn't talked to this woman for
- 59:00Speaker 1: a couple of days now, and I can tell it's
- 59:02Speaker 1: bothering him something. I'm right here. Why is my fiance
- 59:06Speaker 1: stressing about another woman? Can men really have female best
- 59:11Speaker 1: friends they're not attracted to? Wow? I mean, I guess,
- 59:15Speaker 1: you know, and in some parts of the world that
- 59:17Speaker 1: can be the case. But um, you know I have
- 59:20Speaker 1: if I'm honest with you, every male male friend, quote
- 59:24Speaker 1: unquote friend that I've had in my life, there has
- 59:27Speaker 1: been some sort of something going on. You know, you
- 59:30Speaker 1: could tell Yeah, I mean you could you could tell
- 59:33Speaker 1: that they liked you, or you could tell that you
- 59:35Speaker 1: know something. There was some sexual tension going on there. Yeah,
- 59:39Speaker 1: that that doesn't mean that we acted on it, but
- 59:42Speaker 1: you know, male female that dynamic. Yeah, you could tell
- 59:45Speaker 1: that stupid case what a stupid wanted. You might say ignorant, right,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: but far be it from me to argue with your intuition.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: If you're already feeling something isn't right, then it probably isn't.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I mean, yes, they've been intimate in the past, but
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: as your friend told you, he no longer has romantic
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: feelings for his best friend. But um, this is I
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: think where your intuition is really on point. I think
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: the best friend has some unresolved issues, as she displayed
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: at lunch. I mean, if she didn't wasn't emotionally connected
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: or tied to him still, why would she storm out?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Why would she be crying? There's something going on with her,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And I think that she's jealous of your relationship and
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: she probably wishes that it were her, and she does
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: feel left out and she does want him so um,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and he may feel some kind of way too because
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: it's bothering him. So before you decide to walk down
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the aisle with him and set a date and do
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: all of those things. You guys need to get this together.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: And I don't know if it's going to be that
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: easy because his best friend has some serious issues and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: if if he's bothered by it, uh, he may have
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: some unresolved feelings that he's not acknowledging or telling you about. Steve. Well, well,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: thank you, Shirley for that warm, fuzzy rendition of the letter.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: You're so welcome. Now here comes to the ignorance side.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: That's just gonna get it? What really hell going on here?

- 1:02:55Speaker 1: with their friendship, but I didn't stress about it because
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I heard him on the phone tell him how much
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: he loved of me and that I'm the one what
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: nobody on the all the end. M hm, you heard

- 1:03:47Speaker 1: They told me they had sex when they was bet friend,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: but they don't have romantic feelings whatsoever. You ain't gotta
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: have feelings to have sex here bought. Of course, I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was uncomfortable, and I didn't see see stress about it
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: because I overheard him telling hug how much he loves
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: me and then I'm new woman, and she had already
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: fung up. The only person got that message was that's funny.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: He had hung up. See I know how this go
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: with This past weekend, my fields invited his best friend
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: into lunch so I could meet her. Lunch was going gray.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: We was talking and laughing, but then the best friend
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: got quiet. I looked over this hell phone and she
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: was sitting there crying. What happened? The only laugh? What?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Remember that time we do that? Girl? You pray that
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: like the what? They just help to start crying because
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: she couldn't hold up the line no more. See, she
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: wasn't on the phone when he told her you was
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the one we're talking and laughing my feelings, say, asked
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: her what was wrong? She said, she feels like she
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: for he was going to forget about her when he
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: marries me. My feelings. They had to never to tell
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: her that that would never happen. What, Oh, that's why,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: ain't no more laughing. See I'm looking at what. I'm
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: all that laughing daddy, your feelings. They told her. She
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: stood up and told him their friendship was over, and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: she stormed out the restaurant. You know why, because she
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: won't more to b FF the big free She won't
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: more because she had She won't more because she had more.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: She thought she was there. M We ain't just friends.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: This was supposed to lead to something else. We've been
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: having sex the whole time. You know how I hug
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: up the phone when you told me she was the
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: one and you was gonna marry. You know I want
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: no other and that damn. I'm just hearing this today.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Oh man, my fiance saying, I said, in silence for
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the rest of the meal. Now, he ain't talking to
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: you because he trying to get this up together. When
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: a man sitting in silence, his brain ain't solid. It
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: was a riot going on in his head. The German
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: shepherds was loose, and four people had fire holes, and
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: he was the only black against the wall at the krisky.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: He ain't talked to this woman for a couple of
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: days now, and I can tell is bothering him? Something
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: ain't right here. Why does my fiance stressing about another
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: woman because she the other woman? This ain't another woman?
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: This the other woman. Can men really have female best
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: friends that they're not attracted to? The answer to that
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: is if they ain't attractive. Let me let me read
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: this question and answer for you kids. Can men really
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: have female best friends they're not attracted to? Yes, if
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: they're not attractive? Now, was to be f f really
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: a big fact freak? Or was to be fl a
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: big fact m See that's what you yourself? Was to
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: be really a big factory? Or was to be a
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: big five? I'm gonna I'm gonna find him, see that
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: what I want to go. That's why he said in silence,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: because he watched her walk out the dough that she
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: full figured dough all but she got it all right.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: She a curved model. She walked out that dough. He
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: saw it moving under that dress. Yeah, ha ha ha,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: he see high work. I'm just trying to show y'all
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: high work. She started crying because she won't more because
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: she had h and she had allowed him to see more,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: and he gave her more. She was hoping to be
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: yes now that she go after dough and what fault
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: because you know bought this up in here telling you're
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: gonna give her the more that I had before. Yep, yep, yeah, huh,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: that's all this was playing. Man. Well, it's not gonna
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: happen now, is it. Yep, it's still gonna happen. Nobody
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: getting up to your friends. Yeah, because the friends gonna
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: get over it, because he gonna tell her she don't
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: really mean that much to me. She's just get enough rude.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: But I got to marry her because she's sick. Just
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: let me marry her. Coming up. She's sick, she got
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: a terminal illness, and I'm gonna marry her so she
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: can have that. That's whole wish. Oh my god. Now
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you what to do, all right, Steve, we

- 1:10:23Speaker 1: join me this Thursday one pm. Alright, coming up in
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: ten minutes, guys, we're gonna switch gears and talk about
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: things that have a cut off age. All right now
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you do oh for that, we'll be back. You're listening
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve Jay is here
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: with things that have a cut off age. Jay explain, well, well,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Steve actually has it is just things, Shirley, and everybody
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: does cut off age to everything, to everything you do.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Some people some people just ignore it and just keep
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: doing it. But fronted, like, come on, this should have
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: a cut off point. The name name. If you over,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: we don't need to look out there and see you
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: doing the name name, the whip or the name name
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: and you fart it really thirty five three? Yeah, thirty
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: three you asked tough doing the whip and the name name.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Here's what you can't do. If you over thirty five
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: you cannot go see the me goes to man. You
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: can listen to him. You can't, but you gotta take
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: your keys. Somebody just went way too old, way too old.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: People sitting next to her mom. Here's something that has
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: a cut off age. And we don't have to cut
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: off age. But just listen to this. You cannot wear
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: crop tops if you have a muffin top man or
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: woman that's cut off too short like you exet you Elliott,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Well you're not like it. Just a little the muffin.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: You can't do it. I don't mind a little muffin
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: on a woman, but on the man, man, dude, dude,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: if you're over twenty, you got to stop using the
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: word lick. If you're over twenty five, yes, Sherley got
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to stop using the word lit that if you over
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: fifty five. If you're still using the word cop asthetic,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: that's copasthetic, man, man, that's cope asthetic. You need to
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: come on out, come on. If you're four years old
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: and you're in a stroller with your legs crossed and
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you can pull yourself along in the stroller, the lass
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: needs to be walking something for the babies is one.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: If you're over eighty with a walker and it's gotta
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: come hold a fanny pack, or play some hold of
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: newspaper tennis ball for a grip. Damn it, you're gonna
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: take something off. It's too much pack. If you over
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Farty and people are still considering you ratchet, you're not ratchet.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: You're actually stupid. A man over Farty with two change
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: and his name is not to change on the outside.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: You are the emy and still wearing any form of
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: nugget jewel nuggets. What about the set? You a nugget set?
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Here's one, Monica Sherley. If you're over farty five, each
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: finger nail came be a different compa. They've been doing it,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: the polished whatever. You all don't know. We might not know.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: We know that. But let me tell you this though,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: don who's in charge of all of our social media
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: are digital programming and all of that. When you just
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: mentioned nuggets, she looked over like all she could think
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: it was like chicken McNuggets. What you were talking about,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: yeah nugget. Watch it's like nuggets, Yeah, nuggets. She thought
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: you were talking about it McDonald's nugget the nuggets set.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Let me see which one was my favorite. It was
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: between Amigo's party and Muffin top crop. Yeah, I like
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: four years old, still in the stroller, like the word. Yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: you got your leg crossed in my head? Get the water?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: You don't get the Water's so Steve, I got a question.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: So I can't say, let what's the cut off age?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Cut off ages? Thirty five? Over thirty five? You know
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: what you can't say, Jane? What Trump? You can't say Trump?
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Remember Trump? Remember? Or that's up there with Turkey. Yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: we couldn't say monk with I couldn't say what monk
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: with don't be monking with me? Or don't be around. Oh,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: you can't say that. I'm going to see the meg.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Don't see to me, junior, to me, take some junior?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: What about doing watching? What is that doing? You? You're
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: sitting in there looking over your glasses, old lady watching
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the me over? Keep going there, ain't go, don't don't
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: go down to embarrassing still do that? Y'all ever seen
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Monica Luke overs but but but with a phoone dress
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: with an ankle strap, but with a low kitty kitty
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: he alo. You cannot go? We got cut off. Former
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Dog Pound member Dad's Dillinger is now on the radar. Alright,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: We'll be back with more cards, Kanye West. Many people
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: were offended and disappointed, of course, and Kanye's choice to
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: express support for President Donald Trump. But Dad's Dillinger took
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: his disappointment very personally, and a few videos Dads told
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Kanye to stay in Calabasas unless he wanted to get
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: beat up by the crypts. Well. TMZ called the Sheriff's
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: department on Monday to ask if Dillinger's video was something
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: they were looking at. Well. At the time, the Sheriff's
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: department was unaware of the Dad's had posted the threat
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: to Kanye, But today a Sheriff's Department source that detectives
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: are now looking at the video to determine if there's
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: a prosecutable crime here. Uh, We're told the Sheriff's department
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: has also reached out to Kanye and his security team,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: but so far they have not heard back. Wow. Just yeah, man,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: just lead these cripts alone, because these cats is for real.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: It's some dudes out here to do this for real.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: It's not a game, it's a lifestyle, and so you
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: got to be careful when you're talking to people. Look,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I know you, look, I know you want to sound,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: you know, Bravado and all this hell. But it ain't
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the time for that now. Snoop is not condoning this.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I can shoot you, but it's not the time. It's
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: not Snoop. It's people who carry the banner of cript.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I've met with a lot of crypts and bloods when
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I was out here on the radio before, and it's
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: it's it's some cats out there serious. Now, it's got
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: some brothers on each side that you can sit down
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and actually talk to, and some brothers on each side
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: that you can sit down and have real conversations with.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: And if some dudes ain't hearing, you're gonna let this
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: album release. Get your ass what that's what your first though? Well,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: you know he's still a proponent of free thought and
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: freedom of speech, Kanye is he still you know, wants
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: to put that out there that he has the right
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to say whatever he wants to say, whether you like
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: it or not, that's on you, all right, We'll go
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: ahead there. See look you you don't listen. See you
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: everybody got freedom of speech, but you gotta be smart
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: to see. As you have the freedom of speech, people
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: have the freedom of hearing, people have the freedom of
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: interpreting and and then yeah, the clap back with them
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: dudes is different. They a coming back in words because
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: see these cats are here, took who they validity and
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: initiation could be you show how real you down with us?
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Go do this? And there's some food and passed out
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: of order, man, and you are we we don't need
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: freedom of speech. At ain't ain't good in this country.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: It's not, man. I mean, there's so much going on
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: with Kanye. And then yesterday he was in the TMZ
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: news room talking about slavery was a choice? Are you
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: here about slavery for four hundred years? For four hundred years?
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: That sounds like a choice, like he was there for
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: four hundred years And it's all of y'all for the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: new album? Is that what all this bout? Well? In
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: a lighter note, Steve and other hip hop news, things
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: are looking up and looking pretty good for Meek Mill.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Last less than a week after his release from prison,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: the terms of his bail have been adjusted by Judge
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Genese Brinkley. That this is the same judge, of course,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: who had been holding Meek back well. She signed off
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: on an order to allow him to travel outside of
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Pennsylvania's Mygomery County for business activities. There is a catch though,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: um he'll have to give at least seventy two hours
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: advanced notice to the Probation Department. Uh So, just hours later,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: he left the state for the first time this year
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: to head to New York City, where he dined with
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: seventy six owner Michael Ruben and Rock Nation Management. So
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: at least he can, you know, move around a little
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: bit busy down to probation office because he's gonna be
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: going every seventy two hours hand to do. I'll call
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: him down there. How about the ghost, Yeah, I'm about
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I'm about to hear out. I got some business in Jamaica.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: That's not Yeah. I wonder what the judge is feeling though,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: You know what, does she sign the order begrudgingly or was?
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You know she was like, all right, give it to me,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I'll sign it. You know she's trying. She's been trying
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: to hold him back all this time. What you can't
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: hold me back? That Probation office, whoever over my case
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: is gonna be taed that Nick Cramps holding that phone?
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Where you going that meat? I'm on my way to Africa.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: All my trips is long. They weren't piling up because
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: she has he has to give three days notice seven
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: two hours notice, so every three days he's somewhere, gotta
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: be somewhere. What was it, sure that she wanted him
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: to do for her. It was something about some music,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: right or or one of its about that. It was
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: a couple of stories out there, but it was something
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: that had to do with a record company and record label,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and she made he probably got to write a whole
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: album for her property. Yeah, she wanted him to produce something.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: It was something like that. I don't remember right at
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: this moment, but yeah, and he didn't. He didn't do it,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: So here we are, yeah right, Yeah, that's good though
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: for me doing there's a movement. Yeah, And I mean
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: he had so much support on the outside, he really
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: really did, you know. I think that had a lot
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: to do with it. Public sentiment, you know, it was
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: in his favor. Yeah, And he's continuing to fight for
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: justice for others that you know, wrongly accused, So that's good.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: He's keeping he's doing good will as well. And I
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: mean dining with the owner of the seventies sixers um
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: not too shabby. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, have you ever been
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: in a helicopter? I haven't. I have garis damn thing
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: in my life has probably been on one quite a few.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Glad it wasn't. In the first one I could him,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: but after I learned how to get him like I
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: was in a single engine, looked like a little mosquito.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: That was my first one. After that, twein engine seat
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: six engines. Case. Well, don't go out, I'm got shot. Okay, alright,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: so go to all social media at Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: If you want to comment on this story or any
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: trending topic that we've been talking about. You're listening to
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morn Show. Okay, Tommy, As I mentioned,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: we might need your help here. Put your knicknack nickname
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: thinking cap on. The Royal Royal Family has released the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: official birth certificate for William and Kate's newest baby, Prince.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: The document list the baby's full name, officially as His
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Royal Highness Prince Louis Author Charles of Cambridge. Okay, his
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Royal Him Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge. That
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: is a mouthful, right there. Yes, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: It was signed by his father, William, Prince William and U.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Prince William's name is William Arthur Philip Lewis, Duke of Cambridge.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: That's too much. The cerignificate also has a space for
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: the parents to include their occupations, and they filled in
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Prince of the United Kingdom and Princess of the United Kingdom.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: So tell me what do you think? What do you
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: I think? We go with Prince Prince work Oh, baby
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: p just pe k. You know what I'm saying. Dad,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: what's your dad's name is? Daddy's name is uh, you know,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: hr h. His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Lewis,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Duke of Cambridge, Duke just Dukee. We go with Ducie.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: You didn't call it baby Dukie, Duke Dukie. He knows
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: who he is. That's Dukie and baby Pete. I'm going
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: with them too, right there. Well, wen't know how tall
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the baby gonna be. Okay, we can call him little LT.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: What's a little LT? What does that stand for? A
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: little like Tommy? Good nickname. Don't nobody like man morning
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: to you? I did. I'm little like Tommy right now?
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: All right? And see the stories for you billionaire. Bill
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Gates says he was offered a job in President Trump's
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: administration during a meeting with the president in March, just
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: last month. Huh, how come to billionail? Story had to
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: be for Steve? Why that couldn't well, because, yeah, I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: think that's pretty obvious, Tommy. But if you must have
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: an answer, all right, and you gotta moderade to break
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: down on a freeway. An interview with science website stat,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: the Microsoft co founder Bill Gates says he had a
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: forty minute meeting at the White House and President Trump
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: offered him the vacant position of Science Advisor to help
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: guide him on issues regarding science and technology. Gates says
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: that Gates is in computer software. Yeah, but technology, science
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: and technology ain't coming to work. Well, we met, I
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: don't know him. Oh you met. You met Bill Gates
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: and you haven't told us that. Man. It ain't just amazing,
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: you know what, when we're gonna talk about it, just
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: a meeting the richest man in the world, God A Christ. Well, yeah,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: we know that. I just met him. It was just
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: quick meeting. Handshake. How you doing? Did he know who
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: you were? He have no idea? Just okay, you know
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: he wasn't money that day, so well. Bill Gates said
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: that he told Trump that it was not a good
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: use of his time. Yeah, he wasn't sure that Trump
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: was even serious, saying I didn't put him to the
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: test whether that was a serious thing or not. He
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: probably himself didn't know if he was serious. It was
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: a friendly thing. He was being friendly, That's what Bill
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Gates said. And he asked me, first thing, We'll have
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: more of this crazy Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. Yeah,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: shouts out to our truck drivers. We know we have
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: a lot of truck drivers who listened to the show.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: We do, so did you guys hear about this one?
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: A truck driver hauling potato chips gets lost for days
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: and he doesn't touch chips. An Oregon truck driver is
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: safe after getting lost for days while transporting potato chips.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: His name is Jacob Cartwright. His truck slid towards an
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: embankment in the snow and mud and got stuck. It
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: forced him to get out and walk. Cartwright walked through
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: the wilderness for four days before he was able to
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: reach Interstate four to flag down a car. Apparently his
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: GPS failed and took him into the mountains. This poor
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: guy had no food or water except for his ship,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: except for his delicious haul of potato chips, but he
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: didn't eat one bite. He well, his boss says, he
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: asked the man how come he didn't eat any of
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: the chips, and Cartwright said to him, I'm not going
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: to touch it. That's the way he was raised. The
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: boss said, that's that's that's stuff his his truck. Slay
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: it off the rope, Yeah, into the snow and the
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: mud in the wood. So he didn't just stay by
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: the truck. No, he got out and walked. Well where
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: he got out and walked in the in the woods?
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Where are you kill it? Why would you leave the trunk?
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: He walked in the wilderness for four days, Steve. You see,
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: he listen to me. The truck is on the road,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: it slides off of a road. The best way to
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: get found is back towards the road. Nobody goes in
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: and they would he go that way in the woods
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: for full days. Well, you know, sometimes people are in shock.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Maybe you know, maybe he was in shock and he
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: just was disoriented. Chips. His as is crazy. He's really crazy.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Found in my nostril, my face so deep in the chips. Anyway,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: I had chips, tweets, all my teeth, man my mouth,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: I had a smile and look like Jet one tainted
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: chip in there. He said, that's the way he was raised.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: He just couldn't do it. Couldn't touch that. You wouldn't
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: touch the Yeah, boy, man, i'd opened all the sour
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: cream barbecue lad. I don't know what y'all at the
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: time you found me out of came up with folk
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: new flavor. Flame boy, I've been back and chip barbecue man,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: change might not have so many ideas. I'd have been
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: rich beyond work. Pretty scary that Steve Harvey's nupertat whole flavor?
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: What flavors? Heat, sour cream? What flavors would you have
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: come up with? Though? I want to hear that hot
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: meat got tat chip tape like hot Maybe maybe all
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: your flavors should be off your journey, like I got
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: a ship called distress. Okay, what else? All right, Well,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: we'll be back coming up after this. Steve has more
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: hip flavors and we'll have our closing remarks coming up
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day. Good morning,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: good morning, we had a good morning today. What's you
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: got for us today? In light of social media, in
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: light of all of you, which is almost everybody listening
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: who has to deal with haters from time to time,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: let me just say this. You can be surprised at
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: what the president says, or you can be one of
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: those who say, I'm not surprised at all. I knew it.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: You can claim to have known this. How anyone could
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: have known this quality of president is beyond me. This
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: level of unpresidential nous is beyond me. How you could
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: have known that. But if you want to claim that,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: I'm okay with that, go ahead. But whether it's him,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: whether it's social media, whether it's haters, you can listen
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to it. I'm not going to stop going where I'm headed,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: to stop along the way and deal with something that
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: has no bearing on where I'm headed. As unpresidential as
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: this man is, he has no bearing on where you headed.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: He really don't unless you allow him to have that. Well,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: I disagree with you, Steve. This This is my closing
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: remarks and you're okay to disagree with this. But mar
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Luther King said it best. He said, a man can't
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: ride your back unless you bend over. I'm not bending
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: over in two thousand and eighteen. I'm not allowing the president,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: social media haters, or anybody, and I'm inviting all of
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: you to join along. They can't ride your back unless
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: you bend over. Stand tall, stay up. Don't allow these
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: people to stop you. Don't allow these people to determine
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: your outcome. See here's the problem with stopping along the way.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: See the problem with stopping along the way is it
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: slows you progress. And ain't that one of the beautiful
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: tricks of the devil. The devil is so smart man,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: he knows what to do here. Thor a curveball your
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: way that really has no bearing on where you're going,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: really has no truth to it, and you wind up
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: occupying time devoted to it, which is now slowing you
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: from going where you had it. Don't do it. In
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: two thousand and eighteen, that president that's in the White House,
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: that that man will not determine your outcome. He just doesn't.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: They're not making policy up in the White House for
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: our benefit. But then let me ask you when have they. Oh,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: we've had some stuff come down, you know, Affirmative action,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: you know which which they took that back. You know,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: we've had um, you know, some things come down, the
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: Civil Rights Voting Act, which you have to revote for
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: every year. They take that back if they could. Um,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: We've had a lot of things that have come the
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: healthcare they're trying to resend that. You know, we've had
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: some stuff that could have really benefited us. But at
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: the end of the day, we are the determining factor
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: as to how far we go in life. And stop
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: lending yourself to this president, to hatred, to social media,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: to people's opinion of you. Stop lending yourself to those things,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: and keep going where you are headed in two thousand
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: and eighteen. Stop breaking for foolishness. You know how you
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: see people with the bumper sticker I break for animals,
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: you know, get your new bumper sticker to say, I
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: don't break for fools. I don't pump my brakes no
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: more for fools. I have no time for foolishness. I
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: don't have what your opinion of me is. You're wrong anyway.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You know how many times people say things about you
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: that are really so far off base from the truth,
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: So why give it time? You don't even most of
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: your haters don't even really know you, And then you
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: get the most hate from somebody that you try to help.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: That's the other part. But because now their life ain't
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: turned out where where they wanted to be. Now you
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: had fought for that, so now here comes to hate.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: Don't break for foods in two thousand and eighteen. Keep
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: your feet on the gas pedal. I might make that
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: my new thing two thousand and eighteen. I break for
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: no foolishness. Feel how you want to feel about me
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: in two thousand and eighteen, because the only opinion of
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: me that really matters is how God feels about me. Now,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's not important how your spouse feels
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: about your children or so forth and so on. But
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: I'm not saying that. But when it comes to haters,
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: you know you cannot matter to me. You can't. Your
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: job simply is to hate. You work for the devil.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: You're an imp, and the devil has millions of imps
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: who are busy seven. They got fake screen names. When
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: you go on the page to try to see whose
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: are the saying something about you? All their pages is private? What?
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: How big of a coward can you be? You're gonna
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: say something about me, but you ain't mad or woman
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: enough to say who you are? Man, bump you get
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: out of here. Hey, y'all in two thousand and eighteen,
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: don't break for foolishness. Let it go, keep moving forward.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: God got a great life for you. You just gotta
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: claim it and don't let nobody stop you. Not the haters,
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: not social media, and not your president. Okay, y'all have
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: a great weekend. I like that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: God will not wake up. Yeah. I love to feel
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
