Highest advisory level for toxic algae issued for Mantua Reservoir
A danger advisory issued July 8 for Mantua Reservoir remains in effect after testing detected harmful algal toxins at levels that pose a risk to people and animals. The advisory was issued after testing found "the algae is producing high levels of dangerous toxins," the Bear River Health Department said. Issued by the health department, the danger advisory is Utah's highest recreational health advisory for harmful algal blooms.
