- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time. If y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit, looking back to back down, giving the ball
- 0:15Speaker 1: like American buck bus things. And it's tough to me.
- 0:19Speaker 1: True good to Steve Hart. One to move to for stole, Mobby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't you join? Yeah? Yeah, well Hobby joining me? Honey
- 0:53Speaker 1: said do you turn to go? Yeah? You want to?
- 1:15Speaker 1: You gotta turn you to turn turn you lovent got
- 1:43Speaker 1: the turn out to turn water wan go come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thing at it? Uh huh, I sure well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: coome on and everybody you're listening to the VARs, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, pointed on Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show? Man, oh man, oh man? How good is
- 2:14Speaker 1: God to me? And part of the mission and the
- 2:17Speaker 1: reason that I have a radio show is to is
- 2:20Speaker 1: to become a share of more and more of a
- 2:23Speaker 1: shaff you know. Um. I used to hear my mother
- 2:26Speaker 1: say it to me all the time. But God blesses
- 2:29Speaker 1: you to become a blessing. And I think the more
- 2:31Speaker 1: you understand that about yourself, I think the more blessings
- 2:35Speaker 1: will flow your way. I think that once you understand
- 2:38Speaker 1: the principle that you know it, but it's kind of
- 2:42Speaker 1: tied together with some other scriptures, and I'm not too
- 2:45Speaker 1: knowledgeable about them, of course as usual, but I do
- 2:49Speaker 1: know what I've heard you know, and you know, if
- 2:52Speaker 1: you look at something simple as do unto others as
- 2:54Speaker 1: you would have them do unto you, Uh, wouldn't you
- 2:58Speaker 1: want somebody to help you if you needed help? I mean, look,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm I don't know how to wind it down into
- 3:06Speaker 1: some intellectual lecture. I just know how to get it
- 3:09Speaker 1: down there to where I've been able to understand it.
- 3:13Speaker 1: If if if there's a scripture similar that it says
- 3:16Speaker 1: do unto others as you would have them do unto you,
- 3:21Speaker 1: or if that's you know, in a prayer, would not
- 3:26Speaker 1: you want somebody to help you if you needed help?
- 3:32Speaker 1: You've heard you reap what you so? Do you understand
- 3:37Speaker 1: that if you so discord, that discord is gonna come
- 3:41Speaker 1: your way. That if you hate, hate gonna come your way.
- 3:46Speaker 1: If you blog nothing but negative comments about people, your
- 3:49Speaker 1: life will be filled with negativity. If all you do
- 3:54Speaker 1: is talk about people, then guess what somebody got to
- 3:56Speaker 1: turn that gun around and talk about you. See, it
- 4:01Speaker 1: just stands to reasons. So what I've learned in my
- 4:04Speaker 1: life and through all the trials and tribulations that I've had,
- 4:08Speaker 1: is to take those lessons and share them with people
- 4:13Speaker 1: in case you ain't heard it from somebody else. See sometimes,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and the reason it seems like I'm redundant at times
- 4:21Speaker 1: is what I am is because I'm always trying to
- 4:24Speaker 1: find a different way to say the same thing. Because
- 4:27Speaker 1: it's a funny thing. Man, you got to hear it
- 4:30Speaker 1: a certain way forward to click with you. How many
- 4:34Speaker 1: times have I heard a saying and then I heard
- 4:39Speaker 1: it a different way that it clicked with me? You know,
- 4:44Speaker 1: I've heard of this saying right here. Remember this now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: everybody is not happy for you. We've all heard that, right,
- 4:52Speaker 1: everybody is not happy for you. Well, that's very simple
- 4:56Speaker 1: that I don't need no explanation. That simply means of
- 5:00Speaker 1: all the people you know or do not know, when
- 5:04Speaker 1: something happens to you and you're celebrating it, everybody's not
- 5:07Speaker 1: gonna join in on the celebration. That's all that is.
- 5:12Speaker 1: But then you take it one step further. My father
- 5:14Speaker 1: used to say something to me all the time. He says, son,
- 5:17Speaker 1: everybody come with you, can't go with you. I didn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: get that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you
- 5:22Speaker 1: can't go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some
- 5:24Speaker 1: of these friends you got along the way. You know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: just that the space time, you're gonna grow in different directions.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You know you're gonna do something ain't into. They're gonna
- 5:34Speaker 1: do something you ain't into. They're gonna want you to
- 5:36Speaker 1: go here. You ain't gonna make it. They're gonna disappoint you.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You're gonna disappoint him. He ain't never lied. But I
- 5:41Speaker 1: don't care where you get in life, how old you get,
- 5:45Speaker 1: how far you go, who you think you are, what
- 5:48Speaker 1: you make, what you say, what you claim to be. No,
- 5:52Speaker 1: this right here, everybody can't go with you. If you
- 5:55Speaker 1: are constantly trying to improve yourself, you constantly have to
- 5:58Speaker 1: take assessment of the people around you. Because if you
- 6:02Speaker 1: are going to continue to go and continue to grow,
- 6:06Speaker 1: then guess what you got to have people that's on
- 6:08Speaker 1: the goal and willing to grow. If you've got people
- 6:11Speaker 1: in your life that are not on on the goal
- 6:14Speaker 1: or willing to grow, how can they help you go
- 6:17Speaker 1: or grow? Do that makes sense? So you have to
- 6:20Speaker 1: constantly make assessment of the people around you or else,
- 6:24Speaker 1: guess what you're gonna learn the valuable lesson. You know,
- 6:29Speaker 1: the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis. I was talking with
- 6:33Speaker 1: butch Lewis one time, and uh, man with a good
- 6:36Speaker 1: brother man. I'm talking about man with a good brother man, Jesus.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And I was talking with him and he shared with
- 6:43Speaker 1: me a lesson that I had never thought of before.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And he told me this. Let me say this clock.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I don't know the time I got. I don't want. Yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I got to. Butch Lewis told me this one time.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He said, every successful man, it's doing what I call
- 7:00Speaker 1: he got rope work to do. He got rope work
- 7:04Speaker 1: to do. He got to put in work on rope.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there listening to Butcher Lewis and all
- 7:10Speaker 1: the money he had made and all the people's lives
- 7:12Speaker 1: he had changed, and all of the moves he was made,
- 7:14Speaker 1: and his an incredible skills as a negotiator on behalf
- 7:18Speaker 1: of some very very wealthy people. He was just an
- 7:21Speaker 1: amazing man with no education. But he read everything. He
- 7:25Speaker 1: butch Lewis read all that, all the papers, all the periodicals.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That brother knew everything. He said, you got to put
- 7:32Speaker 1: it in rope, and I was sitting there listening. He said,
- 7:35Speaker 1: he is the analogy, little brother. He said, you are
- 7:38Speaker 1: on rope. There's a thick rope. You have on no shirt,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you have on some tattered clothes. You have on no shoes.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Your shorts is cut off just below the knee, and
- 7:50Speaker 1: they tattered, and you got dirt on you and you're sweating.
- 7:53Speaker 1: There's this huge, huge raw rope over your shoulder. That's
- 7:58Speaker 1: burn marks on all of your shoulder. Connected to that
- 8:01Speaker 1: rope is a wagon. That wagon has all your weight
- 8:06Speaker 1: on it, all your responsibilities, all the people you're responsible for,
- 8:11Speaker 1: all your children, your wife, your family members, your employees,
- 8:16Speaker 1: your your co workers, your friends. They all on that wagon. Man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: they're just sitting there. He's saying, what you gotta do
- 8:24Speaker 1: is you gotta pull that wagon up the heel. Now,
- 8:27Speaker 1: only thing with it is, can't nobody help you pull
- 8:30Speaker 1: your wagon. You pull your wagon alone. He said. Now,
- 8:34Speaker 1: what you can do along the way of pulling your
- 8:37Speaker 1: wagon is you can find yourself a good wife, a
- 8:40Speaker 1: good woman. He's saying that what that woman does is
- 8:43Speaker 1: she get down off the wagon. She fan you while
- 8:46Speaker 1: you pull it. She put water on you while you
- 8:48Speaker 1: pull it. She put stuff in your mouth while you
- 8:50Speaker 1: pull it. She kicked rocks out the way while you
- 8:53Speaker 1: pull it. But she but she pull it for you.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But she is equally as important as you are on
- 8:59Speaker 1: the pull of the rope. He said, you hear me clearly, now,
- 9:02Speaker 1: young soldier, he said, now I get this here. He says,
- 9:05Speaker 1: people on your wagon that you're responsible for. But you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want the people on your wagon to help you get
- 9:11Speaker 1: your wagon to the top. So what you hope is
- 9:15Speaker 1: that they got their foot hanging over the side pushing,
- 9:18Speaker 1: They got one leg over the back, or maybe both
- 9:21Speaker 1: legs over the back pushing. They got they might have
- 9:24Speaker 1: their butt on the wagon, but they push you with
- 9:26Speaker 1: both legs. They're back facing your back, maybe some of
- 9:29Speaker 1: them facing you with one of them got left leg
- 9:31Speaker 1: hanging over trying to push. And you hope that all
- 9:34Speaker 1: the people on the wagon you're pulling is back there
- 9:37Speaker 1: at least trying to help the wagon get to the
- 9:39Speaker 1: top of the hill. Here goes your problem. Though everybody
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't pushing, everybody ain't pucking, ain't bar everybody ain't pulling,
- 9:47Speaker 1: Everybody ain't kicking rocks out the way. You got some
- 9:50Speaker 1: people on your wagon. That's just laying on the wagon,
- 9:53Speaker 1: draking lemonade, looking at you, talking about how long it's
- 9:57Speaker 1: taking you to get your wagon up to the top,
- 10:00Speaker 1: looking at you talking my whitest wagon is so slow.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Then when you start picking up picking up speed, they
- 10:05Speaker 1: want you to pull harder, you to pull faster, you
- 10:09Speaker 1: to pull more. Then they want you to throw what
- 10:11Speaker 1: you then earned on the way up the hill, backed
- 10:14Speaker 1: on the wagon, so they can have more. But guess what,
- 10:16Speaker 1: they ain't helping you get more, but they got a
- 10:18Speaker 1: sense of entitlement that since you got more, they should
- 10:22Speaker 1: have more. Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta kick the people off the wagon that
- 10:28Speaker 1: ain't pushing and pull it and say, hey man, I'm sorry.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I thought I could do this with you, and I
- 10:34Speaker 1: thought you was going with me. But it's clear to
- 10:36Speaker 1: me you ain't nothing but dead weight, and it ain't
- 10:38Speaker 1: my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried
- 10:42Speaker 1: you as long as I have to carry you. You
- 10:45Speaker 1: are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family,
- 10:49Speaker 1: my wife, my children. I'm not responsible for you. You
- 10:52Speaker 1: got to get off my wagon because I'm a man
- 10:54Speaker 1: on rope I'm on a mission, baby, I'm pulling. You're listening, ladies, ladies, ladies.
- 11:06Speaker 1: This is the day after recognizing women worldwide on the
- 11:11Speaker 1: Women's Empowerment Day, the day after. I would like to say,
- 11:16Speaker 1: what a great day it was. Let's please continue on
- 11:20Speaker 1: onward and forward? What what ard forward? We knew what
- 11:29Speaker 1: you meant International Women's Day to Good morning, Shirley, Good morning, Steve,
- 11:42Speaker 1: thank you, Carla morning. What's happening Joe? Day three and
- 11:47Speaker 1: didn't one more time? Day three and didn't. The only
- 11:51Speaker 1: sounded like wanted the characters and I don't know him.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Talk to Steve or he won't come back to the show.

- 12:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, you ain't. Top of the morning, baby,
- 12:19Speaker 1: whoa my favorite day. I got to speak to the
- 12:23Speaker 1: parents today. That's always fun. You always come with a
- 12:28Speaker 1: list of rules, Steve for them. Why is that? Well,
- 12:31Speaker 1: you know, because you gotta tell these pass You know.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Everybody bring their baby down here, thinking their baby special.
- 12:38Speaker 1: My baby is so special. Wait till y'all meet him,
- 12:40Speaker 1: my baby Top of the Claire, Well, your baby is
- 12:43Speaker 1: gonna be around other bright children. You might find out
- 12:46Speaker 1: something about your little baby. Your baby ain't that bright
- 12:49Speaker 1: aut all that well? I do tell them that sometimes
- 12:55Speaker 1: because they get on my next Can you see it
- 12:57Speaker 1: right away? When the baby not that bright? Can you
- 12:59Speaker 1: see it? Know right away? Because when you put them
- 13:01Speaker 1: around other bright kids, immediately he started saying, stupid stuff.
- 13:05Speaker 1: What y'all doing? Now? What is that fault? Can we
- 13:12Speaker 1: eat some of that right there? So you know, we
- 13:16Speaker 1: just it's this great weekend down here with Disney Dreamers Academy.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's eleventh year, I believe, eleventh year, and we're making fun.
- 13:25Speaker 1: But there's some wonderful kids, very very very bright, very
- 13:30Speaker 1: very bright kids. It's very fun. I've got a couple
- 13:32Speaker 1: of great examples from Disney Dreamers. Uh Shemu Ooggle Chimu Ooggle,
- 13:39Speaker 1: who is a little mentor of mine. Uh that's in
- 13:43Speaker 1: the military. Also, Um little Jalen blood So who I
- 13:49Speaker 1: met here when he was fifteen. This little dude is
- 13:53Speaker 1: a millionaire now I've been him down here. I've had
- 14:00Speaker 1: have several young women, more than several, who my daughters
- 14:04Speaker 1: have mentored and they are college and graduated and graduated.
- 14:11Speaker 1: That's awesome, Steve, That's what dream is all about. That's it.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's like Kimdall from my mentoring program. This little dude
- 14:20Speaker 1: was banging so hard. Him and a boy from Chicago.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They fought the whole week. I couldn't keep them separating.
- 14:27Speaker 1: They was Alpha mailed in it the whole time. This
- 14:30Speaker 1: boy was in trouble in school. This boy graduated. He's
- 14:34Speaker 1: an engineer now does al right, back with more of
- 14:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this thirty something
- 14:43Speaker 1: Friday's coming. You're listening to the Steven Show. Steve, You're right,
- 14:48Speaker 1: it is time for something funny. Here's a question for you. Okay,
- 14:53Speaker 1: not for you so much, but just in general and
- 14:56Speaker 1: for some people particularly on the show. Do you know
- 14:59Speaker 1: what you looking for in a future spouse? If you
- 15:04Speaker 1: I can hear Jay in my mind, if you've been
- 15:10Speaker 1: dating long enough to figure to have figured out, if
- 15:16Speaker 1: you've been dating long enough to have figured out what
- 15:19Speaker 1: you like and need and a serious partner, and uh,
- 15:23Speaker 1: we have a mental list of those qualities, Steve. So
- 15:25Speaker 1: this could be for Jay and Junior. No, no no, no, no, no, no,
- 15:28Speaker 1: we ain't gotta do that. Let's ask them. Yeah, that's right. Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: that would be way better than the list junior, What
- 15:35Speaker 1: are you looking for in a quality mate? Somebody don't
- 15:38Speaker 1: talk as much? Got up something to talk about? Come on,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I mean we talk all day for a living. I
- 15:46Speaker 1: don't really want to talk that much. Just you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: let me be look at me. You want a quiet woman? Quiet?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Guess what happened at work today? Who did you hear? What?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Someone so sick? Guess what that had? Yeah, it's the
- 16:00Speaker 1: same thing happened every week. Yeah, but you gotta listen.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They want support, they want a sounding board, you know,
- 16:11Speaker 1: just due like my husband, He goes, I'm not saying that. Well, Monica,
- 16:18Speaker 1: don't stop. I'm telling y'all. Oh and we got the
- 16:24Speaker 1: same tone too, you Yeah, we're on the same blop.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So is that happened? What happened? So? Is that it?
- 16:36Speaker 1: I mean, just if she doesn't talk a lot, surely
- 16:38Speaker 1: it would be perfect. Wow, that's it. Just if she doesn't, well,
- 16:43Speaker 1: i'll tell you this short. It don't sound good. She
- 16:44Speaker 1: tried to talk sexy and you're gonna sound good? How that?
- 16:48Speaker 1: We don't. I don't like that. I've heard that before.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You know what, Let's let her talk sexy. Thing thing
- 17:00Speaker 1: that comes out of her mouth is sexy. She heard
- 17:03Speaker 1: herself played back on TV. She got step outside your head. Yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 1: your voice really doesn't sound like what you think. It
- 17:13Speaker 1: sounds like, hey baby? Yeah that right now? To be quiet? Yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 1: so junior, and as much and a partner when you
- 17:26Speaker 1: when you think about getting serious, you want someone who
- 17:29Speaker 1: doesn't talk as much because you talk a lot for
- 17:32Speaker 1: a living. So you you like quiet, just quiet. I'm
- 17:36Speaker 1: not gonna get quiet with Mississippi Monic. I'll tell you
- 17:38Speaker 1: that right now. What about a fine deaf girl? Girl?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Come on team Tommy? That what he wants? What you need? No,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm just asking, how is it a fine deaf girl?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Is that does work for you? I mean, you're not
- 18:02Speaker 1: gonna really talk about that. Some jokes but I ain't
- 18:04Speaker 1: gonna do it. But they're not gonna be Yeah, I
- 18:06Speaker 1: mean you know what they're not gonna get done. And
- 18:12Speaker 1: none of its walls. I got that's too far. I
- 18:19Speaker 1: no mind. That don't make it all right? Okay, So
- 18:23Speaker 1: maybe we don't want to hear we can't hear your jokes,
- 18:26Speaker 1: j because we know they're going to be on the
- 18:28Speaker 1: edge like you and your friend Mr Harvey over there. Yes,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but but in a spouse hypothetically. Hypothetically speaking, Steve, I
- 18:41Speaker 1: wanted to ask j just if he were to be
- 18:45Speaker 1: thinking considering a spound finished this, I asked you when
- 18:48Speaker 1: you started turn my Mike off? Are you so touchy
- 18:54Speaker 1: about this? No? No, no, I mean I don't ask
- 18:57Speaker 1: for much on this show. Do my job, and I
- 19:02Speaker 1: just leave, like, can I have or give me one
- 19:05Speaker 1: of tholse. You're gonna come in town when I say,
- 19:09Speaker 1: cut my damn Mike, shut it out? Material for more
- 19:17Speaker 1: money and nothing? Don't you know? I don't you know
- 19:20Speaker 1: I need a laptop. I have not like on this show.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Do you have me to do something done? You have
- 19:31Speaker 1: no problems. I'm gonna ask for from time to time.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask you cut my damn Mike. But you
- 19:41Speaker 1: have to participate in our se with you. But Jay,
- 19:48Speaker 1: we don't want to hear wifey material qualities. We just
- 19:53Speaker 1: want to hear from you. Come give us one, give
- 19:57Speaker 1: us one. Oh, he's mad, you know what? And then
- 20:02Speaker 1: when I started cussing, let's him. He's so evil and hitter. Yah.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I've never known a person who can't even consider even
- 20:19Speaker 1: talking about a hypothetical situation. Mary and I am team
- 20:25Speaker 1: j he've been married at least three to but it's
- 20:29Speaker 1: not even real though. Just pretend we'll ask his friend Steve. Yeah, ye,
- 20:36Speaker 1: Steven speak for Jay. Since he doesn't want to participate.
- 20:40Speaker 1: What he wants somebody h who don't want to stay
- 20:44Speaker 1: with him? With him? What kind of clue do you
- 20:47Speaker 1: mean that he want a relationship but he don't want
- 20:51Speaker 1: nobody that wants to live live house and he wants
- 20:58Speaker 1: a woman. That's Oh, okay, We're not seeing him for
- 21:03Speaker 1: two weeks and he can he can go off for
- 21:07Speaker 1: three days and come back without being questioned. He wants
- 21:11Speaker 1: that like he's on a binger or something. I can't
- 21:16Speaker 1: ask you about him three days, I can't check you
- 21:22Speaker 1: aren't you be out? It's normal to you, Steve. Oh,
- 21:27Speaker 1: the years I've known him quite quite understand he's such
- 21:32Speaker 1: as how we do it? Do it? Wow? Oh he's
- 21:40Speaker 1: a nice guy. He's such a sweetheart. Yeah, he just
- 21:43Speaker 1: wants the joke all the time. Don't talk about none
- 21:45Speaker 1: seeing all right? Hey, listen, coming up next? Never you Tommy.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Sounds like he nailed it the way Jay is screaming
- 21:51Speaker 1: in the background, coming up next and afew time he's here.
- 21:55Speaker 1: With run that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 21:59Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up at the
- 22:02Speaker 1: top of the hour, Miss Anna is going to be
- 22:04Speaker 1: here with our national news and right now though, it
- 22:07Speaker 1: is time for Tommy to run that brankback. What you

- 22:18Speaker 1: ministry running New Baptist. This is Terrence Man. Help you please,
- 22:24Speaker 1: Brother Terence. Yeah, how you doing? I got your uh
- 22:28Speaker 1: your number? You you with the over the church. You
- 22:31Speaker 1: went to make a wish ministry. Yes, I am, i'mna
- 22:34Speaker 1: help you. Well, looksen I'm I'm I'm actually uh, I'm
- 22:39Speaker 1: I'm terminally ill, brother, brother Terrence, And I don't you
- 22:44Speaker 1: know as far as what the doctors tell me, it
- 22:47Speaker 1: could be six months, another year. But I know my
- 22:52Speaker 1: time here is definitely limited, you know when. I'm sorry
- 22:56Speaker 1: to hear that, but we're definitely here to help you
- 22:59Speaker 1: out with whatever you need or whatever we can help
- 23:02Speaker 1: you with. So what can we do for you? Well,
- 23:04Speaker 1: you know, I I truly believe that sometimes people have
- 23:09Speaker 1: you know, I've seen one of the more movies they
- 23:10Speaker 1: got with it you gotta bucket list or whatever they
- 23:13Speaker 1: called it. You know, people trying to do things before
- 23:15Speaker 1: they leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying
- 23:18Speaker 1: to figure out what I could do and what I
- 23:20Speaker 1: wanted to do before I left this world and went
- 23:23Speaker 1: on to what he has for me next. You know,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I don't believe in doing anything unless it's preyed on first. Yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 1: if you don't mind, maybe you can, uh, you know,
- 23:36Speaker 1: before I can tell you my wish. We we prayed
- 23:38Speaker 1: that the wish would come true. You you you you're
- 23:40Speaker 1: not doing anything like that. Oh, no, I don't mind praying.
- 23:43Speaker 1: That's what we're here. Bow your head with just yes, yr, sir?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Is your head back? Yes, sir, your sir here, Oh
- 23:51Speaker 1: the God, we come to you in the umeless way.
- 23:54Speaker 1: We know how Lord, we asked you to touch this
- 23:57Speaker 1: young man and every which way heard, and then we
- 24:01Speaker 1: asked you to deliver him for whatever is going on
- 24:04Speaker 1: with him, and let him know that we the church
- 24:07Speaker 1: is here to help him with whatever his needs is
- 24:10Speaker 1: in his last days. And Jesus Name, I pray say Amen,
- 24:14Speaker 1: with's gonna do it here? Now you remember the church
- 24:21Speaker 1: here of New Well I was remember I still consider myself.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Remember it's just been quite sometimes probably over a year
- 24:29Speaker 1: and after two years as I've been able to come,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you know, through to my my illness, but definitely I
- 24:35Speaker 1: will remember that. Well, that's all right. We're not worried
- 24:38Speaker 1: about all that. We're just here to take care of
- 24:41Speaker 1: your last and final wish. That's what our ministry is for.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You know. We helps people with with with anything they need,
- 24:49Speaker 1: you know, like that, what what what all? I mean
- 24:51Speaker 1: when when people call and won't say what all of
- 24:54Speaker 1: you you all, what all of y'all helped him with? Well,
- 24:57Speaker 1: we've helped him with their rent um, take them to
- 25:01Speaker 1: the store, help them with a utility bill, come out
- 25:05Speaker 1: and cut the grass, anything like that that they just
- 25:08Speaker 1: can't do, take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything we'd
- 25:12Speaker 1: like to help them. What we do exactly. Then okay,
- 25:15Speaker 1: well I I pretty much got those things taken till
- 25:19Speaker 1: I think what I'd like to do between you and
- 25:23Speaker 1: and and myself bother day. And I've never told anyone
- 25:26Speaker 1: what I'm about to tell you. I've never been with
- 25:30Speaker 1: a with with a woman before I'm you know, I'm
- 25:35Speaker 1: thirty eight, but I've never been with a woman. Well,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I guess that might be a blessing you might you
- 25:42Speaker 1: might be there. That's a good thing. Well, you know,
- 25:44Speaker 1: but sometimes you know, I give before I leave, I give.
- 25:48Speaker 1: That's a desire that I have. And and and uh,
- 25:51Speaker 1: what I wanted to ask you was there is a
- 25:55Speaker 1: lady there at the church, and before I leave, I
- 26:00Speaker 1: I think that's the woman that I would actually like
- 26:03Speaker 1: to to be with. Well, I don't know if Make
- 26:06Speaker 1: a Wish Ministry can support that kind of stuff, but
- 26:10Speaker 1: go ahead, let me hear, okay that the lady that
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm actually interested in actually, uh, she works at
- 26:17Speaker 1: the church too. Well not see, she's kind of a
- 26:21Speaker 1: tall what she's about five nine and she's probably about
- 26:25Speaker 1: a size eight, beautiful long leagues man and and and
- 26:29Speaker 1: and sandy type of hair, sandy color, sandy brown man
- 26:34Speaker 1: and I mean she looked like caramel hol On a minute,
- 26:38Speaker 1: what's her name? I think her name Linda. Now hold on,
- 26:44Speaker 1: that's my wife. What you mean go ahead? See wait
- 26:47Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait sending to your wife. Yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 1: that's my wife. You sorr, what do you mean? Listen,
- 26:54Speaker 1: y'all are ministry now now if y'all supposed to be
- 26:58Speaker 1: taking care of people on make a wish and taking
- 27:00Speaker 1: care of what they want before they leave this world.
- 27:02Speaker 1: If that's my wish, what is the problem listening here?
- 27:05Speaker 1: You didn't cross every line there was about this man,
- 27:08Speaker 1: So I don't give a damn about it. You're talking
- 27:11Speaker 1: about sleeping with my like if I see, I'm gonna
- 27:14Speaker 1: do something to you. They ain't gonna even be able
- 27:16Speaker 1: to recognize you. So what you talk about missing with
- 27:19Speaker 1: my wife, son of them called missing them to myself
- 27:22Speaker 1: and see it. You know I have a problem. Wasn't
- 27:24Speaker 1: helping me make my wish come true? Go right here
- 27:26Speaker 1: and calling you won't call nobody else. That would be
- 27:30Speaker 1: the least call you make. I thought y'all were here
- 27:34Speaker 1: to relieve people so they can enjoy themselves and vote
- 27:38Speaker 1: they leave this world. You talking about sleeping with my wife?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Are you crazy? But but if I'm gonna leave here,
- 27:44Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna know? But you want hut? I don't
- 27:46Speaker 1: care if you die. I don't care. You ain't sleeping
- 27:50Speaker 1: with my wife and your food with her. You probably
- 27:52Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and die quicker than you need to.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I thought this was a ministry. I don't think you
- 27:58Speaker 1: now you won't. They're telling me about y'are supposed to
- 28:01Speaker 1: be administra that to help people before they leave. Word
- 28:04Speaker 1: what it is, But you're talking about sleeping with my wife?
- 28:07Speaker 1: You got an illness, but something must be wrong with
- 28:09Speaker 1: your rain talking about missing with man one ain't nobody
- 28:12Speaker 1: got even know I've been what your wife wants. I'm
- 28:13Speaker 1: gonna there ain't gonna people the tour, y'all. At least
- 28:16Speaker 1: you would have helped me before I left. No, I
- 28:18Speaker 1: can't help you with nothing. And let me tell you something.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm not the preacher, I'm not the past I'm not
- 28:23Speaker 1: the deacon, I'm not none of them. But if you
- 28:26Speaker 1: mentioned my wife, you're gonna know who I am. I'm
- 28:28Speaker 1: gonna be the undertake or do you understand? I hear
- 28:30Speaker 1: what you saying? But I got one more thing I
- 28:32Speaker 1: need to tell you about who I who asked you?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Isn't it to go ahead? Let me? This is from
- 28:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning, Your wife Live, God the Praise,
- 28:46Speaker 1: y'all tell me you ain't recording this is man, It's
- 28:55Speaker 1: recorded every less on Hammler. Oh God, I got one
- 29:06Speaker 1: more than what is the baddest and I mean radio
- 29:11Speaker 1: show in the lane? Eve Harvard Morning show. Anybody want
- 29:17Speaker 1: to make a wish? Yeah, I wish you didn't do
- 29:19Speaker 1: that prank. I wish you was playing much one. I
- 29:24Speaker 1: wish you would have a long life. But I don't
- 29:26Speaker 1: think that's gonna broad daylight. Let me put it out there.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I am here Salsburry Merryland. It goes down tonight. What
- 29:42Speaker 1: Comic Cold Civic Center? The Nephew was here. I am
- 29:46Speaker 1: in town. This show is tonight. Get your tickets if
- 29:48Speaker 1: you haven't gotten them. Nephew, Timmy and friends were Comic

- 30:05Speaker 1: Who Santa? What kids? We share one uncle. That's all
- 30:14Speaker 1: we do. Oh that really gets on your nerves. Ain't
- 30:25Speaker 1: ever Ben took Cleveland, but he just all in the family.
- 30:28Speaker 1: He uncle did that. Uh, you ain't kin to USA?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Can you watch right there? All right? Listen coming up,
- 30:44Speaker 1: miss Anne with our national news. You're listening to the
- 30:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, you're in Orlando,
- 30:52Speaker 1: of course, So tell us about the Steve Harvey Disney
- 30:56Speaker 1: Dreamers Academy. And we we spoke a little bit about
- 30:58Speaker 1: it earlier. But you help unlock the potential in young people.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Tell us what you do, please. I was at a
- 31:05Speaker 1: character breakfast last year with some dudes I was playing
- 31:10Speaker 1: golf with and it was me big Blue Clay Calhoun,
- 31:16Speaker 1: you know, just fo big black dudes, And we had
- 31:21Speaker 1: the only place we could get breakfast was at a
- 31:23Speaker 1: character bractict Tigger came over there, and Tigger the Tiger.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Tigger came over there with his tail. Now full of
- 31:35Speaker 1: kids in here screaming for Tigger. Tig tigg out canna
- 31:41Speaker 1: walk over here to our table, take his tail and
- 31:44Speaker 1: run across two of my dude's ball head to do
- 31:50Speaker 1: cleaned over the tickets, said he may see all them
- 31:52Speaker 1: kids over there calling you going over there, find you
- 31:56Speaker 1: asked something. Disney Dreamers Academy it's an annual four day event.
- 32:09Speaker 1: It brings students from across the nation to Disney World
- 32:12Speaker 1: Steve to learn important skills you know this, such as dreams,
- 32:16Speaker 1: communication techniques, leadership qualities, and networking strategies. Some of the
- 32:21Speaker 1: Dreamers want to be pilots, They want to be engineers, pediatricians,
- 32:25Speaker 1: the list goes on and on. Some people want to
- 32:27Speaker 1: be signed language interpreters. I think that's a great I
- 32:30Speaker 1: love anything that has to do with language and signing
- 32:34Speaker 1: and stuff like that, marketing and managers, lawyers, directors. So Steve, seriously, now,
- 32:40Speaker 1: what advice do you have for your Disney Dreamers? Well,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you know, pretty much in a motivational tone, I tell them,
- 32:47Speaker 1: always tell them any things possible. You know, these young
- 32:49Speaker 1: people at an age, what they could make the decision
- 32:52Speaker 1: right now to become anything. I mean, disguise a limit,
- 32:56Speaker 1: but it's about exposing them. It's not expecting a child
- 32:59Speaker 1: to know they want to be for the rest of
- 33:01Speaker 1: their life at fifteen sixteen, that's that's impossible. They don't
- 33:06Speaker 1: even know themselves. But it's just exposing them to a
- 33:10Speaker 1: number of opportunities. Something down here might spark them, you know,
- 33:16Speaker 1: like some kids writing their letters. I don't know what
- 33:18Speaker 1: I dream of being. I just know I want to
- 33:21Speaker 1: be something. I want to be positive, and if y'all
- 33:23Speaker 1: can help me, then I would appreciate that. I was saying,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you guys help them set goals and make We teach
- 33:32Speaker 1: them a lot of things about goals, setting, planning, dreams, visions.
- 33:37Speaker 1: And one little boy stood up last night and the the
- 33:39Speaker 1: thing he said he was gonna open up marijuana dispensary.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You know that. You can't tell him not to dream. Uh,
- 33:49Speaker 1: you know they and he said one of his goals
- 33:51Speaker 1: is to open up legalized marijuana dispensary because he says
- 33:55Speaker 1: it seems to be where the money's at. The money.
- 33:59Speaker 1: What could I say? M Yeah, next question please hop Yeah?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Anybody else? All right? Just walked off. Yeah, it really
- 34:21Speaker 1: is for every year you do it. Yeah. Yeah, And
- 34:24Speaker 1: I think you don't get enough credit for the things
- 34:27Speaker 1: that you do with the foundation and mentoring and helping kids.
- 34:31Speaker 1: You do this all the time sometimes, so bravo to
- 34:36Speaker 1: you in your family. Really, Steve Carlo, that's a great point, Steve.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You really you do so much in the community. You
- 34:43Speaker 1: really do. If you guys want some information about how
- 34:46Speaker 1: you can get involved with Disney Dreamers Academy, go to
- 34:49Speaker 1: Disney Dreamers Academy dot com for all your information, how
- 34:53Speaker 1: to sign up, everything you need to do, and maybe
- 34:55Speaker 1: we'll see you there next year. How about that? All right?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Miss Anna is here, Steve, jentlemen, she's here, Mrs and trip.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Thanks Steve, Good morning everybody. This is a trip with
- 35:04Speaker 1: the news. While starting out with the big and many
- 35:06Speaker 1: say unbelievable news that President Trump has reportedly accepted an
- 35:10Speaker 1: invitation to meet with North Korean leader Kim John un
- 35:14Speaker 1: or maybe as soon as in May. As a matter
- 35:16Speaker 1: of fact, they say sometime this spring. The word is
- 35:18Speaker 1: also that North Korea will can it for a while
- 35:21Speaker 1: with all those missile tests. Again saying that President Trump
- 35:24Speaker 1: has reportedly accepted an invitation to meet with North Korean
- 35:27Speaker 1: leader Kim John young as soon, maybe as in May,
- 35:30Speaker 1: and the word is that North Korea will also stop
- 35:32Speaker 1: for a while with all the missile tests season. Diplomats
- 35:35Speaker 1: say they're hoping this just won't be a photo op.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Congressional Republicans remain critical of President Trump's decision yesterday to
- 35:41Speaker 1: slap new tariffs on imported steel and aluminium. The vast
- 35:44Speaker 1: majority of GOP lawmakers opposed the move, including Senate Majority
- 35:47Speaker 1: Leader Mitch McConnell, who says as a good reason, there
- 35:50Speaker 1: is a lot of concern among Republican senators that this
- 35:54Speaker 1: could fantasticize into a larger trade war. Nevertheless, despite both
- 36:00Speaker 1: public and private lobbying from top Republicans, the President went
- 36:03Speaker 1: ahead and delivered on his promise really and explained his reasons.
- 36:06Speaker 1: The action that I'm taking today follows a nine month
- 36:09Speaker 1: investigation by the Department of Commerce Secretary Ross documenting a
- 36:15Speaker 1: growing crisis in our steel and aluminum production that threatens
- 36:19Speaker 1: the security of our nation and also is bad for
- 36:23Speaker 1: US economically and with jobs. The new tariffs on imported
- 36:28Speaker 1: steel and ten percent on imported aluminium will take effect
- 36:31Speaker 1: in fifteen days, with Canada and Mexico exempted for now. Meanwhile,
- 36:35Speaker 1: even though the GOP might like to limit the tariffs legislatively,
- 36:39Speaker 1: they would need a veto proof marginal support, and Republicans
- 36:42Speaker 1: just they don't have that right now. Former Trump campaign
- 36:45Speaker 1: chairman Paul Manafort has pled not guilty. The tax breaks
- 36:49Speaker 1: at tax and Bankford Rather manaforts been released but under
- 36:52Speaker 1: electronic monitoring the judges at a child date for July,
- 36:56Speaker 1: NFL cornerback Antonio Cromarti says he's officially retiring from the game.
- 37:00Speaker 1: The former JED didn't play at all last season, and
- 37:02Speaker 1: the thirty three year old Cremarti wrote a goodbye letter
- 37:05Speaker 1: on Instagram, thanking the four teams that he played for
- 37:08Speaker 1: over his eleven year career, and I hope Crimarti has
- 37:10Speaker 1: a lot of money saved, CRIMARTI has fourteen count them
- 37:14Speaker 1: fourteen children. And finally, today is National Meat All Day
- 37:22Speaker 1: and it makes me so hungry. Time of the morning.
- 37:25Speaker 1: We'll be back with more entertainment in today's trending topics
- 37:27Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the Hour and Steve Harvey Morning Shows.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right.
- 37:34Speaker 1: A lot of people are losing sleep because of work, guys.
- 37:38Speaker 1: A new study by account Tips finds that of professionals
- 37:42Speaker 1: are losing sleep over work. As for why, fifty say
- 37:47Speaker 1: they've been overwhelmed with work, the volume of work they have,
- 37:50Speaker 1: the hours that they have to put in. Some of
- 37:52Speaker 1: the other reasons for work related sleep loss include a
- 37:55Speaker 1: strained coworker relationships. Wow, uh, we're that they may lose
- 38:01Speaker 1: their job. That's a lot of stress. Never be exhausted.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Oh this is a good one. My boss is a nightmare.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Have you checked all three bucks that jake? Strange coworking? Okay,
- 38:20Speaker 1: strange coworker relationships, worried I may lose my job and
- 38:28Speaker 1: my boss is a nightmare. Okay, So I gotta ask you, Steve,
- 38:34Speaker 1: you have a lot of jobs. You have more than
- 38:36Speaker 1: anyone I know, do your jobs keep you up at night?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Or you know? Is it if they do? Is it
- 38:41Speaker 1: constant or just o case? My exhaustion for my jobs
- 38:45Speaker 1: is when I run up into stupidity. That's the only
- 38:48Speaker 1: thing I get exhausted for. I don't I've you know,
- 38:52Speaker 1: I've really found out over the years. I don't really
- 38:54Speaker 1: care for stupid people. I really don't. I can't even
- 38:59Speaker 1: I can't even play it off. Like if you're stupid,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I look at you like you're stupid the whole time
- 39:05Speaker 1: you talk. I don't know what we're supposed to do
- 39:08Speaker 1: with that information. No, it's just important information that you
- 39:11Speaker 1: know about me and my job. My job. I love
- 39:14Speaker 1: my job. Look, I tell jokes for a living and
- 39:16Speaker 1: play music. All of my jobs to have an element
- 39:20Speaker 1: of meat, using my god giving talent. So I love
- 39:24Speaker 1: my work. Just the things that surround my work. Like
- 39:28Speaker 1: when you stupid, I just can't stand that. Man? Is
- 39:32Speaker 1: that brown? No Jay, good jay? Ignorant different from ignorant
- 39:41Speaker 1: stupid when you're doing stuff that ain't attached to nothing
- 39:45Speaker 1: and just has no rhyme or reason, But you study
- 39:48Speaker 1: doing oh anyone in particular in mind er I know,
- 39:58Speaker 1: I didn't think he was gonna stay you honestly, Um, okay,
- 40:03Speaker 1: why would I say this? It's uncomfortable right now? Why
- 40:07Speaker 1: you are uncomfortable? You're not stupid, I know, I know.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You just don't like the way that Tommy goes into
- 40:14Speaker 1: the shell when you call him stupid. But let him
- 40:17Speaker 1: go in there. When you go into the shell, he
- 40:19Speaker 1: can't say no stupid. He's here working. What are you
- 40:24Speaker 1: gonna do? He's working. I'm right hello everyone, I'm here.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm right here. Yeah, yeah, okay, I'm right here. Stop
- 40:31Speaker 1: doing it. Stop talking over and around me. I'm right here, alright, alright.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Listen coming up at thirty four after the hour, Ja

- 43:55Speaker 1: that's what do you do? Because that's what he do?
- 43:58Speaker 1: Keep coming down. Fat Panther comment strip will be on
- 44:06Speaker 1: the Steve Harbert Night. What is the what's the harm
- 44:12Speaker 1: at one each week? And what does fat Panther do? Yeah?
- 44:16Speaker 1: What is he doing? Oh? If he's fighting injustices for food.
- 44:19Speaker 1: If somebody takes your lunch called the fat panther, you
- 44:23Speaker 1: got a raggedy breakthleast called the fat panther. Is the
- 44:27Speaker 1: fat panther fat? Yeah? Yeah, Fat Panther will deal with
- 44:34Speaker 1: his on the crime one slice at a time. It's
- 44:41Speaker 1: logan here, fat Panther. What you mean they forgot your friend,
- 44:45Speaker 1: the fat Panther. You introduced him earlier this week on
- 44:51Speaker 1: the show. He can go back to the website and
- 44:54Speaker 1: see how he came to world. He's fat, Yes, fat panther,
- 44:59Speaker 1: damn page. How did you? How did you meet the
- 45:04Speaker 1: fat Panther? How did this all come about? While I
- 45:07Speaker 1: was in Pawanda? You were wearing Paawanda? Uh huh? And
- 45:14Speaker 1: what happened? I met the fat panthers there are you
- 45:16Speaker 1: are looking for someone to do some fight that fight?
- 45:20Speaker 1: I said yes and said I'm the guy, Amy Fat
- 45:23Speaker 1: Panther mm hmm. And the fat Panther was born just
- 45:27Speaker 1: like that. If I opened up a bag of chips
- 45:31Speaker 1: and it's just a bunch of air and it ain't
- 45:33Speaker 1: got with three or folks. Father will be there kicking.
- 45:37Speaker 1: But all right, nephew Tommy is here. He's got to
- 45:41Speaker 1: bring phone call. We'll get to that right after this.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You're listening to the sty show coming up at the
- 45:48Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 45:51Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. But up next, nephew Tommy is here
- 45:55Speaker 1: with the prank phone call of the day. What you
- 45:57Speaker 1: got now, surely every church got one thick and shut in,
- 46:03Speaker 1: sticking shutting and list everybody got shutting people been on
- 46:08Speaker 1: that list for you. You made me so nervous when
- 46:11Speaker 1: you do the church thinking shut in. So I'm trying
- 46:19Speaker 1: to b speaking. Uh, you got him? How I'm doing?
- 46:25Speaker 1: I ain't doing too good. You have been over praying
- 46:27Speaker 1: for my wife again, right right right, yes, sir, you
- 46:31Speaker 1: came over here three times in one week. My wife
- 46:35Speaker 1: had already went through the operation and all that she's
- 46:37Speaker 1: gonna be fine. I don't need you over are praying
- 46:39Speaker 1: three times a week, because honestly, I think it's something
- 46:42Speaker 1: else on your mind when you come over here praying
- 46:44Speaker 1: for my wife. I ain't stupid, brother. You kind of
- 46:47Speaker 1: make hold it, brother, this body, this is well. Your
- 46:52Speaker 1: wife was on the sick and shut in list. Actually
- 46:55Speaker 1: to come back? Question that I come back? Okay, he
- 47:00Speaker 1: ain't requested for you to bring your black to my
- 47:02Speaker 1: house for no three times in one week, man, So
- 47:05Speaker 1: you can cut that down with me. You hold it, brother.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I came with sister Georgia the first time. The second
- 47:15Speaker 1: time I came by myself because she wasn't able to
- 47:18Speaker 1: come by, and I only stayed fifteen man's time. So
- 47:22Speaker 1: what's the problem because I already know what you what
- 47:25Speaker 1: you're doing. I know you're trying to holly my wife.
- 47:27Speaker 1: I ain't stop. How about your wife? I have a wife.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Why would I happen to your wife? He's part of you.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Already know what you already know what you're doing. Man,
- 47:36Speaker 1: you up in here, my white whine, no wind, not
- 47:38Speaker 1: whine nobody at the house. I already know what you do.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Let me tell yourself, keep your black away from my house?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Did you want to pray for my wife? My wife? Waitin' wait, manute,
- 47:50Speaker 1: you can't talk to you. That's what you're gonna now. Brother,
- 47:55Speaker 1: Ain't gonna be none of that, and ain't gonna be
- 47:57Speaker 1: none of that, you're talking to the wrong brother not okay. Now,
- 48:01Speaker 1: First of all, you're not gonna disrespect me and curse
- 48:04Speaker 1: me out. Okay, that's not even the way brothers should
- 48:07Speaker 1: be talking to brothers. Second of all, if there's any
- 48:10Speaker 1: laying on the hands, it's gonna be my hand laying
- 48:12Speaker 1: on you. You lady, I know my wife. If I
- 48:18Speaker 1: find out what you know, not you mess around with
- 48:21Speaker 1: my wife, it's gonna be true. I know, trying to crazy.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I'm just letting you talk. I'm gonna say it one
- 48:27Speaker 1: more time. Keep your black stop around my First of all,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I told you once again you can't be talking to
- 48:34Speaker 1: me like that. Now I'm trying to be cool about
- 48:37Speaker 1: the situation because I know you may be just upset. Okay,
- 48:41Speaker 1: I can appreciate that. Okay, I have a wife, and
- 48:44Speaker 1: I'll be upset if somebody was coming back to my
- 48:46Speaker 1: wife and show out what your wife I do spend
- 48:50Speaker 1: with my wife. Do you know? I only canybody. Maybe
- 48:55Speaker 1: I need to come out your house and how that
- 48:57Speaker 1: your wife. Were you welcome to but maybe come come
- 49:01Speaker 1: and come and lay something over their own huh? God?
- 49:04Speaker 1: Not to hold holy one man, only one man. I
- 49:09Speaker 1: told you before being disrespected. Now that was a very
- 49:13Speaker 1: idiotic stapement for you to make. Okay, that's what's going happen.
- 49:18Speaker 1: If I kick your black drip my house again, I'm
- 49:20Speaker 1: gonna play this man, and then I'm getting on the
- 49:22Speaker 1: phone with you, You, your pastors, any more of them,
- 49:25Speaker 1: because if anybody come by my house again and I
- 49:27Speaker 1: ain't there, I'm kicking your black. That's a promise, you know.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Just that's it. Look here, brother, if there's gonna be
- 49:36Speaker 1: any what's going on, I'm gonna be kicking you. I'm
- 49:38Speaker 1: gonna lay my hands on you, and I'm gonna give
- 49:41Speaker 1: you a good sanctified whooping. And then I'm gonna pray
- 49:45Speaker 1: for you. I'm gonna pray to heal you. Just put
- 49:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna put up, okay, because I've had it with you,
- 49:51Speaker 1: you know. And I only went by to to visit
- 49:54Speaker 1: your wife because I was asked to go visit your wife.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Now there was a problem you should have caused the pastor. Okay,
- 49:59Speaker 1: when you're not gonna disrespect me, my wife's the church
- 50:02Speaker 1: on the phone left. You want to do somebody, you
- 50:04Speaker 1: can meet me any place. Well, I've been as a
- 50:08Speaker 1: matter of fact, I can go anyway I wanted this town.
- 50:10Speaker 1: If I be at your house talking to your wife,
- 50:12Speaker 1: if the path asked me to go, I'm gonna be there. Okay,
- 50:15Speaker 1: are you you know? You just you know it's you're
- 50:18Speaker 1: like a stupid brother. Okay, you need to come to church.
- 50:21Speaker 1: You need to you the one. You need to come
- 50:25Speaker 1: to church more off. And that's the problem. You don't
- 50:27Speaker 1: come to church more often. If you come to church
- 50:29Speaker 1: more off, you wouldn't be talking to me like that.
- 50:32Speaker 1: You wouldn't be worried about me and your wife because
- 50:34Speaker 1: it must be something wrong at your house. You'd be
- 50:37Speaker 1: worried by me fooling with your wife. Okay, so you
- 50:40Speaker 1: need to check hut. Okay, you need to How about that?
- 50:43Speaker 1: Why don't you do that? Why don't you Why don't
- 50:45Speaker 1: you just check up? Okay? Common says you're the one

- 51:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna check him. I'm gonna check out. I'm couldn't go.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I don't talk to you on the moment. I'm paying.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, brother, brother, brother, you go, man, what's
- 51:53Speaker 1: what you gotta tell me? What's the baddest radio show?

- 54:00Speaker 1: this is discovery. This is just just you know, discovering
- 54:03Speaker 1: what you have. You have so much. I'm just telling
- 54:06Speaker 1: people what you have because a lot of people don't
- 54:07Speaker 1: know what you got. Really. Okay, you got you got
- 54:12Speaker 1: that house. You're in the house in Atlantic moved now alright, alright, man,
- 54:17Speaker 1: you want to start telling it because you've got two
- 54:20Speaker 1: houses on the same property in Dallas. Oh my god.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Uh let's do yeah on the ranch. Okay, what else?
- 54:29Speaker 1: We go? Boy, that's a house to me and you

- 54:52Speaker 1: of the hour today, Strawberry Letter. We'll be right back.
- 54:55Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Show. Before we got to to
- 55:00Speaker 1: day Strawberry Letter. Guys, science says that smiling can boost
- 55:05Speaker 1: your mood. So the next time you're in somewhat of
- 55:07Speaker 1: a stressful situation and your heart rate is going sky high,
- 55:11Speaker 1: you know, your blood pressure is all all the way,
- 55:13Speaker 1: all out of whack and everything, the simple quick fix
- 55:16Speaker 1: could help you feel better. Smile. That is true smiling
- 55:22Speaker 1: somebody in most in most cases, they'll smile back, really will.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Research from Clark University has shown that the sheer act
- 55:29Speaker 1: of smiling can be enough to make you feel happier,
- 55:32Speaker 1: which means maybe there's something to that whole fake it
- 55:35Speaker 1: till you make a thing, you know. I think for
- 55:37Speaker 1: some people it's taking deep breaths, calming yourself down, regrouping,
- 55:44Speaker 1: deep deep breath Steve, come on, Jay, what's your instant mood? Booster? Okay?
- 55:51Speaker 1: In l A, they have these stores that you can
- 55:54Speaker 1: go in. Yeah, you can just go in there. You
- 55:57Speaker 1: got to show some ID and you go in there
- 56:01Speaker 1: and when you come out, you're you're so happy. Oh
- 56:05Speaker 1: my god, it is illegal in l A. Your mood
- 56:11Speaker 1: has changed. They got stinks and they got candy. It's
- 56:18Speaker 1: an instant mood change. You can be feeling. In the
- 56:23Speaker 1: words of color Purple, I was feeling mad and bad
- 56:26Speaker 1: and you go in there. What's your go to mood? Uh?
- 56:32Speaker 1: Similar to Jay's, but only only it's not you know, Listen,
- 56:37Speaker 1: you go in the store and there's a lot of
- 56:38Speaker 1: clothes and shoes, and that makes you feel really good happy. Yeah,
- 56:45Speaker 1: it's really happy, and I do take deep breaths, une
- 56:52Speaker 1: singing and dancing. That's all I do, R and B
- 56:57Speaker 1: like I'm in concert. You know I've seen you do
- 56:59Speaker 1: either long you know, to see put some joe to
- 57:04Speaker 1: see on Steve. You'll see all the time. Yes, put
- 57:08Speaker 1: some job on. He think he Casey Haley. He's not
- 57:13Speaker 1: that good at it, but that don't stop him. He'll
- 57:17Speaker 1: do it. He'll do it. It made me feel good.
- 57:20Speaker 1: He thinks he's a member to see you didn't know that? Yeah,
- 57:25Speaker 1: uh huh, Carla Booster is I just you know, hanging
- 57:31Speaker 1: out with my daughter. It makes me happy. That's a
- 57:34Speaker 1: great lot of stuff together. It's a great world type Tommy,
- 57:38Speaker 1: what are you about to say about your kids? No, no,
- 57:42Speaker 1: I just said your kids ain't no enough kid on
- 57:44Speaker 1: your nerves yet. I try to get away from my kids,
- 57:49Speaker 1: but they don't do nothing for you. Didn't ask me what.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I'm not there yet? No, we're having good times right now.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I'm there. Oh I'm the mine is booty pictures? Oh god, yeah,
- 58:06Speaker 1: they just bring me joy. You know. I just took
- 58:11Speaker 1: my glasses off and just rubbing my head like Anita
- 58:13Speaker 1: Baker man. That do you come yeah, act that you
- 58:18Speaker 1: said that. Yeah, we don't have booties, so big time
- 58:21Speaker 1: to eat about your memory. I hate both of you
- 58:26Speaker 1: right now. Take us to the letter. Please, we got
- 58:35Speaker 1: a girl. Thank you that you We do need to
- 58:44Speaker 1: do a disclaimer, I think at the beginning of this one,
- 58:46Speaker 1: because it's got some we've been disclaiming all. Yeah, we
- 58:50Speaker 1: got some stuff in this one as well. So if
- 58:52Speaker 1: you have young children that you don't want to hear
- 58:55Speaker 1: things of an explicit nature, then now is the time
- 58:59Speaker 1: to take them a from the radio. Subject be quiet, Steve, subject,
- 59:04Speaker 1: is it possible? Is it possible? I Steve. I'm twenty
- 59:08Speaker 1: three years old and I am married to a twenty
- 59:10Speaker 1: one year old man. We have two babies together. He
- 59:13Speaker 1: is in the military and I stay at home and
- 59:15Speaker 1: watch the kids. I am bisexual, so before we even
- 59:19Speaker 1: started to get serious serious, I explained to him that
- 59:22Speaker 1: I would possibly have a girlfriend from time to time. This,
- 59:26Speaker 1: he said, was fine. Now our relationship is amazing, but
- 59:30Speaker 1: I can't seem to get him to stop introducing me
- 59:32Speaker 1: to other females that are also by or lesbian. I
- 59:36Speaker 1: don't want to have to share everything with him, and
- 59:39Speaker 1: I know that he liked the first time we had
- 59:41Speaker 1: a threesome, but I am not necessarily trying to do
- 59:44Speaker 1: it again. Do you think it is possible for a
- 59:46Speaker 1: person who is bisexual to have a serious marriage? Or
- 59:49Speaker 1: am I being selfish? I mean, I'm gonna throw a
- 59:58Speaker 1: question back at you. How can you? I'm gonna ask
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: you this, How can you or anyone else straight by
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: whatever for that matter, have a serious marriage or relationship
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: when an outside person is involved? If I if I'm
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: reading your your your letter correctly, Uh, you haven't said
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: that you're going to put that part of your life
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: or or give that part of your life up. You
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: just don't want to share it with your husband anymore,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: am I? Am I reading this right? The problem is
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to me that, um, you know you did that in
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the beginning, so he figures he you know that he
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: hit the jackpots, so you know, let's do it. Let's
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: get busy, you know, come on, and this is how
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: it's gonna be. So, I mean, you started it and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and oftentimes the way you start a relationship is the
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: way it ends up. So now you started it that way.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Now you want to change the game. So you've got
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: issues with you know, being able to change the game.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Are you being selfish? I don't know. This whole thing
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: is crazy to me, Steve am I am I reading
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: this writer subject. Is it possible? Lady? You're married to
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: a twenty one year old dude. Y'all got two babies together.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: He's in the military. You stay at home watch your kids.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: You're bisexual. So before you even got serious with this guy,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you explained to him that you possibly have a girlfriend
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: from time to time. This he said it was fine.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Now our relationship is amazing, but I can't seem to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: get him to stop introducing me to other females that
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: are also buy or lesbian. I don't want to have
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: to share everything with him, and I know that he
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: liked it the first time we had a three but
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I'm not necessarily trying to do it. Do you think
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: it is possible for the person who is bi sexual
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to have a serious marriage or Am I being selfish? Lady?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I'm not sure if you can have a serious marriage
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: or any other kind of marriage. You need to get
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: a better definition of marriage, because it ain't what the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: rest of us is thinking. Threesomes, other people at the house,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: your man out hunting for lesbians, and she's bringing them
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: home and you just going along with it. You tired,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: he's full of energy? What is yeah, y'all running out?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: And is this? Is this on the base? All right,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: three after the hour. You're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes, bad acting theater guys, get
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: ready for the Chapman. Yeah, the Chapmans will be here.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: But come on, Steve, let's got to part two of
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: your response to today's Strawberry letter. Uh well, it doesn't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: really say, yeah, you know, it's a possible person who
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: is bisexually have a serious marriage. I mean, I don't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: know how that could be with your because of what
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: your definition of marriage is. Marriage is supposed to be
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: two people joined together and let no one come between us.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: And no that means when you and your husband is
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: living there, y'all can't which another body in there. Thank you.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I don't care how happy y'all are with it. It's
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: gonna create a problem. Not the problem you having is
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you don't want to share everything with your husband, cause
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: see what you want is you want the other girl
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: by yourself. Your husband thinking this a party exactly. You
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: just see you wanted him to let you go off
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: by yourself with these girls. Else he thinking Jack Pott, right,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: we got some girls. See, that's not what you want.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: So my question do you become young lady? What what
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: is the marriage for? Because you can make this arrangement
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: very very easily without degrading a marriage. All you got
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: to do is go up to most damn near any
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: dude I know and say to him, listen, I want
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: to sleep with you. You're gonna get it an immediate
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: yes right there. Some guy may not be the type,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and some guys may have some reserve. And now as
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: some man who will tell you, hey, I'm involved, I
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: don't really want none wild like that, But the rest
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: of them are gonna say yes else. And then when
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you say, but here's the catch, I'm going to want
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to sleep with women also from time to time. I
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: hope you don't mind. The same men who say yes
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: right away immediately will think am I in this? And
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: if you allow it to happen one time, I can't
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: tell you. It's like sitting at a slot machine in
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Vegas putting in three dollars and then three wild cards
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: run cross that's the feeling he has when he comes
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: home now with a new lesbian bisexual girl. Do you understand, No,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: you can't have a serious marriage, but you can have
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: a wild times with a lot of guys, which is
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: what seems to be more like you're interested in than
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: a serious marriage. So why don't you just get you
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: an arrangement and have some wild times with some wild guys.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I must remind you, though, all of you will be
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: going to hell. Alright, Steeve, we gotta get out of here.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: You can email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter at my girls Shirley now switching gears
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: this Sunday morning. Guys, don't forget this is great news
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: right here we spring forward and yet your clocks ahead?
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Baby day go to church? Just the best time to
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: go to church. Yeah, it is longer day at the regular. No, no,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you didn't get there early and watch him coming in late.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: That's so much fun quiet, But it's just not o'clock
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and taking up off. So that's what comes to mind
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: when you think of spring. Jay, So, Junior, what what
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: do you think of when when you think of spring,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Because that's what you know it reminds everybody of springtime.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Oh my picture with the Eastern Bunny coming up. Oh
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: that's right. I don't got to go your big, big finity.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I take a picture with each bunny every year. I
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: did not know that about you Jr. Right now as
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a ground man, you don't. I was just great to
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: saying you don't see anything wrong with Yes. I like
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: to get in land and make the other kids upset.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: They don't believe. Let me go, I hit the comments.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Let me get this straight, Junior. You don't take your
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: two nephews to see the Easter Bunny. No, no, the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: relationship to you and go check on my board. The
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: other kids comments while I'm gonna they act like I
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: don't him what you say, and he to be Mommy,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I know he do be. I can't even see the
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Easter bunny standing in the way. It's just so funny. Man.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: So Jay likes to go to church and see see
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the people who did turn their clock backs. Their clocks
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: back come in late Junior, and he's a stand in line,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: like to stand in line and block the younger kids
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: from getting a glimpse of the Easter buddy. Alright, Bunny nephew,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: tell me, what about you? Come on what what Easter? Yeah,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I'm wrong with Easter, buddy, what's wrong with you? What
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: about you? Steve? What comes to mind when you think
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: of spring? Are we doing stuff we like to do
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: on Eastern not just Easter Spring. I like to go
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: to church on Easter and watch and photo the bad outfits.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh, just a shocking array of colors
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: on Easter. People who make stuff at home and they
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: don't throw away any of at that net piece to coughs,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: the shoes keep kine. I like to go to church
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: and see the people who have no disregard for colors
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: matching your complexion, Like, if you really real light skin,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: pale pink is not your color. They never used the
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: phrase does just go together? Hey man? Because like, do
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you have them get fabrics and like lay them on
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: your hand to see if it looks good. I do
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: that all time. Cinnamon never look simple. All right, Well, listen, guys,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: coming up in about ten minutes, the Chapman's will be
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: here with bad acting theater. Chapman's are in the building.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, well,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: well it is time for The Chapman's. If there ever
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: was a show that could not win an Oscar, this
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: would be it. It wouldn't even win a Frank or
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: a Billy and not even a Donelle. But forget all that,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: forget all that. We're live in Orlando, Florida, where we're

- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Fat Panther. Is the fat Panther fat yeah, yeahs Fat
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Panther will deal with on the crime one slice at
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: a time. It's slogan here in fat Panther. What you
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: mean they forgot your friend, the fat Panther. You introduced
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: him earlier this week on the show. You can go
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: back to the website and see how he came to work.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: He's fat. Yes, it's fat panther. Damn thing. How did
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you How did you meet the fat Panther? How did
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: this all come about? While I was in Patawanda, you
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: were wearing Paawanda uh huh? And what happened? I met
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: the fat pants there are you are? You're looking for
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: someone to do some fat that fake and I said
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: yes and said I am the guy empty fat Panther,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: and the fat Panther was born just like that. If
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I opened up a bag of chips and it's just
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: a bunch of area and it ain't got with three
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: or folk chips, fat Panther will be there kicking. But
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: oh my god, look at you needed a theme song? Yeah,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I'm out here, and you know I went to the internet,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: and Internet, as Steve says, there's some other fat panthers
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: out there. So let me tell you fake fat panthers
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: out there right now? The fake fake was they fake
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: you Khim on the Steve Harvey Show. Yeah, because you're
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: you're actually got a theme song and you're actually from
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Paie wonder right, I'm from paid Hu. They just offer
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you know, off a Beal Street. Yeah right, yeah yeah,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: So the haters there, but we're the only one that's
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: on the Steve having on the championship team. Is the
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: only fat panther right here, a fat panther. So that
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: was great. Let y'all liked it. Oh yeah, and you're
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: starting something. It's a movement walking. I don't started walking
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the other day and I saw a fat pink panther
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: change changing the game. He had a thame song, he
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: had a thing song. Ja. Yeah, he's fighting food cramp.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: That's all the fat panther needed was a theme song.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: So now we got that. That's done. That's lopeddown. Y'all
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: have to stop being a fat panther there, because there's
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: only one. He's right here on the Steve Harving Montell baby,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: So Jay, I thought you were gonna really like name
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: the fake fat panthers. So you don't know who they are.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: You just don't call them. And I don't want to.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I don't want to spend too much time on their
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: site because then it counts of me looking at it. Okay,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: And what we what we don't want is a fat
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: panther war. We don't want we don't know, we don't
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: want know, we don't We got one fat panther. He's here,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: he has his own music, got his own costume, he
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: danced with he danced with you guys, and that and
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: then the whole panther situation is about bringing us together.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: That's what's positive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but you just remembered
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: your accent fat panthers, because it comes in and out. Yeah,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I'm not alright, fat panther. Hang out with us for
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: a little while. We got to take a break right here.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You know, guys, this is the
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: eleventh year, as we mentioned earlier, of Disney Dreamer's Academy.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Shout out to Steve Harvey again because this was his vision,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: you know, and this was his dream too, for the
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: kids to have some place to dream and what a
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: better place, better place than Disney World, of course. And
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: if you want more information how you can be a
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: part of Disney Dreamer's Academy, go to Disney Dreamers Academy
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: dot com for all your information that can tell you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: the qualifications, what you have to do to become a part.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: And I think you know, if you meet the age
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: requirements and all that, I think you'll find that you'll
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: have a wonderful time down there. It will open up
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: your imagination and allow you to dream as big as
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: some of these kids are dreaming right now. And Jamie absolutely,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: We've been every year, every year and every year over
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: a decade, going hanging out with the Dreamers, roundtable, discussion,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: entering the kids. I mean there's kids from all over
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: the country now, Jay Junior has been there year after year.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: But this is your first time, my first year to
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: be a part of this, and I just it's a
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: great place. Disneyland is great, Disney Disney World World, It's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: just beautiful, isn't it gorgeous? Rids, It's so clean, don't
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: you love it? Day The problem I have with it,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: you have a problem with the happiest place on Earth.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Jake it's just too minute. Children down. What are you
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: kidding me? Right now? I mean I want to listen
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: to me, listen to me. Good now you might want
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to jump on us. You don't know how they have
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Veterans Day with inat all the veterans out. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: they have um um um. Whatever lifestyle you have, they
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: have that day to say this, Jay, let me answer that.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: They my daughter, we have a cheering dance competition where
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: we have to come down there today. They have that
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: the whole weekend for the But there's another day that
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: didn't he have me looked at a no kid day.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: You come down here, you come, you come you. You
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: don't need rides, you won't you won't see a child.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Just one day. You won't hear crime. I mean, I'm
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: putting it out there. It will be the happiest place
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: on earth for you, just one day. That's all you ask,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: you know, make it out. You can't bring kids to
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the party today, what doubt. But the great thing about
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Disney World, though, Jay, is that if you do have kids,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: you can take them. They have you know, you can
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: take them and and leave them and not worry about them.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Yeah at all? You know, But I have to pamp
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: who are going to bring their kids. Do not tell
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: your kids you're coming here until you pull up. Why
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: don't say, like in a couple of weeks you're going
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: to land. Don't say, oh yeah, the countdown, count the
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: countdown will way you out? Do not say it. Just
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: put them in the far and then drive up. And
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: you're right, because that happened to me when we week
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: came one year and Tasha with the plane was landing
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: and she said, are we there? I said, do we
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: land at Disney World? What time are we gonna be there? Right?
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: We gotta drive to the hotel, so Jay to make
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: your trip more pleasant. No kids, one no kid day,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: just one day. That is the craziest thing I've ever
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: heard come out of your mouth, sir, And there have
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: been a lot of crazy things, but all in all,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: it's a great time. And again, if you want some
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: more information, go to Disney Dreamers Academy dot com. Okay,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: Disney Dreamers Academy dot com. And we can see you
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: down there next year. You never know, we'll be back
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you're in Orlando, of course, so, uh,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: tell us about the Steve Harvey Disney Dreamers Academy, and
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: we we spoke a little bit about it earlier. But
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: you help unlock the potential in young people. Tell us
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: what you do. I was at a character breakfast last
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: year with some dudes I was playing golf with and
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: it was me big blue Clay Calhoun, you know, just
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: for big black dudes. And we had the only place
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: we could get breakfast was at a character breakfast. Tigger
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: came over there, and Tigger the Tigger. Tigger came over
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: there with his tail. Now full of kids in here
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: screaming for Tigger, tigg out, tigg out. He can walk
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: over here to our table, take his tail and run
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: across two of my dude's ball head to do cleaned
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: over the tickets, said, and may you see all them
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: kids over there calling you going over there? Fine, you
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: asked something. Disney Dreamer's Academy. It's an annual or day event.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: It brings students from across the nation to Disney World
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: Steve to learn important skills you know this, such as dreams,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: communication techniques, leadership qualities, and networking strategies. Some of the
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Dreamers want to be pilots. They want to be engineers, pediatricians.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: The list goes on and on. Some people want to
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: be signed language interpreters. I think that's a great I
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: love anything that has to do with language and signing
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: and stuff like that, marketing and managers, lawyers, directors. So Steve, seriously, now,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: what advice do you have for your Disney dreamers? Well,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: you know, pretty much in a motivational tone, I tell them,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: always tell them any things possible. You know, these young
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: people at an age, what they can make the decision
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: right now to become anything. I mean, disguise and limit.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: But it's about exposing them. It's not expecting a child
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: to know what they want to be for the rest
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: of their life at fifteen sixteen. That's that's impossible. They
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: don't even know themselves. But it's just exp using them
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: to a number of opportunities. Something down here might spark them.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: You guys, help them set goals and make We teach
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: them a lot of things about goals, setting, planning, dreams, visions.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: You can't tell him not to dream, you know, they
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: he said. One of his goals is to open up
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: a legalized marijuana dispensary because he says, seems to be
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: where the money's at. They're making money. What could I
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: say next question? Please? How anybody else? All right? Mickey
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Mouse just walked off. It really is for every year
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: you do it. Yeah, yeah, And I think you don't
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: get enough credit for the things that you do with
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: the foundation and the mentoring and helping kids. You do
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: this all the time and sometimes so bravo to you
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: in your family. Really, Steve, Carla, that's a great point, Steve.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: You really you do so much in the community. You
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: really do. If you guys want some information about how
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: you can get involved with Disney Dreamers Academy, go to
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Disney Dreamers Academy dot com for all your information, how
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: to sign up, everything you need to do, and maybe
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: we'll see you there next year. How about that? All right,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: So we'll be back to close out the show with
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: our last break of the day. Steve will um talk
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: about dreaming and Dreamers as he is at Disney Dreamers
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: Academy the eleventh year. Carla, can you believe that that's outstanding? Yes,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: it is, all right. We'll be back at after you're
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: listening to the stew Steve. We're here at the last
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: break of the day. Just one more thing. You're closing remarks, Well,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: I think I should talk about dreams because dreams are
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: such an important component to success. You can't underplay dreams. See,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Education is necessary for certain
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: fields and professions. You want to be a doctor, a lawyer,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: a dentist, a pilot, a scientist, a teacher. Education is
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: so necessary for many professions in this world. But there
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: is nothing, and I repeat, there is nothing more important
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: than your dreams. Your dreams have value. Your dreams wake
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: you up in the morning. The dreams give you hope.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: You know, I'm not saying education doesn't do that. But
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: education don't wake you up in the morning. It's what
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: you dream and hope of becoming with the education that
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: wakes you up. It is your dream that causes you
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: to even get an educacation. If you want to fly
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: a plane and that's your dream, your dream will cause
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: you to do the things necessary to accomplish the dream.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: That's why I tell people, educators and all, if we
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: spent more time talking to our children in our school
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: system about their dreams and visions, we could reduce the
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: dropout rape. But what we're doing is we keep talking
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: to kids about the education, and we're not talking about
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: the kids for the reason for the education. You gotta
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: get your education, because you gotta finish school. Finish school
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: for what we have. Got to take time out to
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: talk about their dreams and visions. I tell parents all
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: the time, just like I'll tell them today and Disney Dreamers.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: If you're not talking to your kids about dreams every
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: ninety days, that's a mistake. Man, that's a mistake because
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: young people change more often than you think. But if
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: you're not revamping your dreams every ninety days as an adult,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: you're making a mistake because guess what you change Awesome Now,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: you know may not change as often as your children
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: because you become a little bit more subtle when you're older.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: But you've got to refurbish these dreams. You gotta dust
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: them off. You gotta keep reminding yourself or what the
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: purpose is, because the dream provides purpose. You wake up
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: in the morning because of what you dream to be.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: You get excited when the lawn clock get all goes
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: off because of what you dream to be. Man, don't
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: let nobody fool you. Now, listen to me. I'm gonna
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: say this again. Education is important and it's critical to
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: certain things in life, but you can actually make it
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: in this world without one. Now, do you need to
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: have some basics under your belt? I strongly suggest you do.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: And I'm not saying at all that you don't need
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: school because you do. School offers you a way to
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: become well rounded. That's the thing that school does for
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: you a great deal, and not only educates you. It
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: gives you social skills. It teaches you how to be
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: well rounded. It teaches you now to adapt, It teaches
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: you the tool of memorization. So I'm not knocking it
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: at all. But what I am saying to you, if
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: you are like me in any way and you're just
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: not a school person, what you're gonna do? You can
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: still be something. If you've blown your education opportunity in life,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: you can still be something. If you just don't feel
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: like you can do school again, you can still be something.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Because the scripture says a man without a dream or
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: vision shall perish. I'm old the Bible inside out. I
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: don't know it. I didn't go to theology school anything,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: so I can't quote it like people can oftentimes. But
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: I don't really don't recall ever going to Sunday School
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: or any service I've ever been to and read a
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: scripture about how necessary your education was. But I have
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: seen repeatedly that a man without a dream or vision
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: shall perish. See the reason. You will die without the
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: dream of the vision, because without the dream of the vision,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: you'll give up hope. You've heard so many people say,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: keep hope alive because it's necessary. The dream, the vision.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: What you see for yourself, your hope for tomorrow, that
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: impossible thing that nobody else can see except you, That
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: thing that floats around in your imagination, that keeps pushing
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: you to make you think that's something out there other
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: than this. For me, If you wake up in the
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: morning and you keep saying yourself, man, that's got to
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: be more to my life than this, that's cause it is.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: That's because it is. Your visions and dreams are out there.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: And let me tell you something else. You got to
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: make your dreams and visions so big, so big that
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: it causes you to overcome all of your fears. See
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: the fear of failures and number one cause of failure
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: in this country, because people are afraid to fail. But
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: you have to have dreams and visions so big that
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: it just overcomes all of your fears. You've got to
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: want something so big, so dynamic to happen in your life. Man,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: that you've got to make this happen, and the fear
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: is secondary to all of it, and it will cause
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: you to push through. You've got to dream of something
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: so outstanding that in order for it to have to
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: in order for it to happen, you absolutely have to
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: have God's help. If you're dreaming of only stuff that
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: you can accomplish yourself, I got news for you. You
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: ain't dreaming big enough. Start dreaming big, increase your dreams.
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: They would change your life. It would change your perspective,
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: it would cause your hope to over Alright, those are
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Alright, Steve, alright, Yeah, y'all have a
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: good work. Hey, Can I say, have a great weekend?
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: Yes you can, finally, Yeah, I'll be working all weekend.
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: But y'all have good But you're leaving us to dream though.
