- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all look back to back down, giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: just like the milling bus things, and it's not good. Steve, together,
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join. You gotta use that turn very You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water. Come come on your baby,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will come Martin. Everybody you are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on now, dig me one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve harvey Man got a radio show. What God doing, y'all? Huh,
- 2:15Speaker 1: what are he doing? What are you doing in your life?
- 2:17Speaker 1: He's doing something, He moving, he working. Don't lose your
- 2:21Speaker 1: patience though, so I did that before. Don't lose your patience.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Don't don't. Don't get so sick of waiting that you
- 2:29Speaker 1: take matters into your own hands. Don't do that. Boy,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you're blowing it. Listen to me. You're listening to somebody
- 2:37Speaker 1: who's done it that way. I had a dream, I
- 2:40Speaker 1: had a vision. I had some hope, I had some faith,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I had some aspirations. But I got a little impatient
- 2:48Speaker 1: waiting on it. So I tried a couple other things
- 2:50Speaker 1: move it along. But I can't tell you how I
- 2:53Speaker 1: messed it up. Then I messed it up. Then, because
- 2:55Speaker 1: God gave me the power of decision, what I had
- 2:58Speaker 1: to do was then after I took matters into my
- 3:01Speaker 1: own hand, messed it up. Now, guess what, He still
- 3:05Speaker 1: got something from me. But now I gotta fix all
- 3:07Speaker 1: the mistakes. Now I gotta straighten them out. I gotta
- 3:10Speaker 1: I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay for my transgressions.
- 3:14Speaker 1: All of that, All of that, it's gotta go down.
- 3:17Speaker 1: You can't do something wrong and not pay for it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It's you call it, calma, call it whatever you wanna
- 3:25Speaker 1: call it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction
- 3:29Speaker 1: every action. If it just stays sunny all the time,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you might think it's cool, but there's gonna be a
- 3:36Speaker 1: reaction to it. Ain't no dark, ain't no shade, ain't
- 3:39Speaker 1: no break, ain't no rain. Gonna be hard if it's
- 3:42Speaker 1: just sunny all the time, vice versa. So you need
- 3:47Speaker 1: you need the opposite. You need the darkness so you
- 3:50Speaker 1: can get your break from that sun. You need the
- 3:52Speaker 1: rain so you can nourish the roots so that sun
- 3:57Speaker 1: it can soak up the sun and get the benefit
- 3:59Speaker 1: of the sun. If you don't get the opposite, you
- 4:01Speaker 1: got a problem, man. And it happens throughout nature, it
- 4:04Speaker 1: happens throughout your life. Don't think that you can do
- 4:08Speaker 1: wrong and not have to pay for that. Do you
- 4:12Speaker 1: think this is man? We we think man, because we'd
- 4:15Speaker 1: have made a decision that we think is best for us,
- 4:18Speaker 1: and no matter how it to affect nobody else, we
- 4:20Speaker 1: got the right to make that call. No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 1: gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need to be
- 4:29Speaker 1: this a way to be down with us. I tell
- 4:30Speaker 1: you what, Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang.
- 4:33Speaker 1: See how many of them be there for you. Oh,
- 4:35Speaker 1: they'll go around the corner with you and starts shooting.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But okay, when it's time to do some time and
- 4:41Speaker 1: they can lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They're gonna point their finger dead at you. I watched
- 4:46Speaker 1: for eight hours all the time, man, I watch a
- 4:48Speaker 1: lock up raw all the time, all the time, man,
- 4:52Speaker 1: all the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there
- 4:55Speaker 1: just holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even
- 4:58Speaker 1: the mob turns stateside. Evidence go fed all that. Now
- 5:02Speaker 1: we are in the hound the hood. We didn't created
- 5:04Speaker 1: this ignorant mess called no snitching. With that hignorant mess,
- 5:07Speaker 1: you don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals
- 5:10Speaker 1: as a code of honor. If you do dirt and
- 5:13Speaker 1: you get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name
- 5:16Speaker 1: up if I was with you. That's a code of
- 5:18Speaker 1: honor amongst the thieves. Now, so many code of honor
- 5:21Speaker 1: thieves that then came out of prison. They ain't got
- 5:23Speaker 1: no honor. They haven't bought that stuff back to the street. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching, No snitching, You
- 5:28Speaker 1: gotta be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's who people have made a code of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 1: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:38Speaker 1: drag me down. What you just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:43Speaker 1: a law biden citizen dog. I'm trying to live right
- 5:46Speaker 1: over here, man. I don't want to crack house up
- 5:48Speaker 1: street from my mama's house. I'm trying to do right
- 5:51Speaker 1: out here. Man. You can't do wrong and expect wrong
- 5:54Speaker 1: not to come to you. You got to make a
- 5:56Speaker 1: decision every day to do right. God ain't got no
- 5:59Speaker 1: protection you on dirt. You got what you got coming.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You made a decision. You go down there to get
- 6:06Speaker 1: some you might got get got see, we got to
- 6:10Speaker 1: come on. I'm talking to so many men out here
- 6:13Speaker 1: right now. I should have said that any me getting
- 6:15Speaker 1: but a conversation and kind of got away from me.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I was going to talk to you about something else
- 6:18Speaker 1: this morning, but did just only man, because our communities. Man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: it's just going to the pot man, because it ain't
- 6:24Speaker 1: nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they
- 6:29Speaker 1: see that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at
- 6:31Speaker 1: them foods over that man, Go over there and talk
- 6:33Speaker 1: to one of them. Put them to the side. Man.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man. Let
- 6:41Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:45Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 1: you was doing. You know, it's like toimmy did a
- 6:52Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 6:59Speaker 1: to ask this limo driver to take him to this
- 7:03Speaker 1: location late at night, and the limo driver got a
- 7:07Speaker 1: young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't normally work like that. But how long you need it?
- 7:11Speaker 1: He said for just bout an hour. He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 1: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave the address. The
- 7:25Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say yeah, and I'm gonna
- 7:34Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:36Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it
- 7:40Speaker 1: that to dude with the limo. He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 7:43Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 7:47Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 7:50Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 7:52Speaker 1: come out and you want me to float it. He says, sir,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 7:58Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call here?
- 8:00Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:02Speaker 1: limo come to you. Just drive. He stopped and took
- 8:05Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 8:07Speaker 1: you something. He said, I've been down before, I've been
- 8:11Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 8:14Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 8:16Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 8:18Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna tell
- 8:20Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 8:22Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 8:25Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 8:27Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 8:33Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money,
- 8:38Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 8:40Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:43Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 8:47Speaker 1: point I'm making it the man took out time. He
- 8:50Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 8:52Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let me
- 8:54Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 8:56Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no no, I see I've
- 8:58Speaker 1: done that when I was young. Now I gonna stop
- 9:00Speaker 1: and I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 9:11Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not
- 9:30Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us who know what
- 9:33Speaker 1: manhoo it is is to start delivering the message. The
- 9:36Speaker 1: problem that we have in our communities. We could solve ourselves.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are
- 9:42Speaker 1: men won't stop on our corporate climb and our day
- 9:46Speaker 1: to day making money and trying to ball out. We
- 9:49Speaker 1: won't stop and grab some of these young soldiers and
- 9:51Speaker 1: tell them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: So I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show, ladies and gentlemen. It is about time.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It has begun to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's upon us.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yours truly is in the building. Give it up for
- 10:09Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Yes, Yeah, happen out, Shovy
- 10:16Speaker 1: strong Perry. I'm welcome back, Team Harvey. We missed you.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I'm all TD. I'm back in love again. Yeah, good morning,
- 10:25Speaker 1: caller Farrell, welcome back, Hey Steve. What's a cruise? That's
- 10:30Speaker 1: welcome back? Carter. I'm a sweathole. Yeah, I got old things,
- 10:36Speaker 1: so no matter what you say, so for this boy here,
- 10:38Speaker 1: because he don't go back no further than nineties. What's
- 10:41Speaker 1: up doing lording. Good to see you man, Good to
- 10:46Speaker 1: see you see that. Toy ain't got nothing for that
- 10:49Speaker 1: got nothing now, nephew, Tommy top top that's my uncle. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: fucking getting mixed your moved shock because he said, and
- 11:03Speaker 1: I feel so satisfied. Excuse me, I'm sometimes I pot, well, yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm in the middle of nowhere now tell us, well,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm in Africa now. But it's a journey man, and
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm like right now, I'm I'm I'm just we're ahead
- 11:33Speaker 1: of y'all. We're ahead of y'all, like nine hours ahead. Wow,
- 11:41Speaker 1: how you feel? How was the plane ride and traveling?
- 11:45Speaker 1: You know, it's long. You know, they got a lot
- 11:47Speaker 1: going on because COVID now you know you gotta take
- 11:51Speaker 1: test to go into Everyone in South Africa is not
- 11:54Speaker 1: the safest place on Earth right now. No, it's just
- 11:58Speaker 1: not really well. I mean, you know, we because they
- 12:00Speaker 1: say they're finding all these new different strands and all
- 12:03Speaker 1: of this. Yeah, all these variants, but you know, vaccinated
- 12:07Speaker 1: up and you know, everybody here they're they're doing the
- 12:10Speaker 1: right things. Everybody's wearing mask and everything, so you know,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and then uh, you know, we stopped in the UAE,
- 12:17Speaker 1: which is like the number one city for safety is
- 12:20Speaker 1: out of dropping. Uh, they're the number one. You you don't, don't, don't.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Don't come in there without your tests if they're not playing. No,
- 12:32Speaker 1: you know what, it's mandatory mask laws. You'll find if
- 12:38Speaker 1: you don't have your mask on immediately people stop you
- 12:41Speaker 1: in the streets. And you don't have your mask all
- 12:43Speaker 1: the way ever, I mean they've huh haven't they been
- 12:50Speaker 1: wearing masks way before this anyway, always covered most most
- 12:53Speaker 1: of them. They're facial and stuff is covered most of
- 12:56Speaker 1: the time. But that's not everybody, you know, now, everybody,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I don't care. If you've got what you got wrapped around,
- 13:02Speaker 1: you got to have mask. But don't you think Steve
- 13:07Speaker 1: or you were heading mask on somewhere. Yeah, if they
- 13:10Speaker 1: had done that here last year, we wouldn't be in
- 13:12Speaker 1: the position we're in right now. No, we wouldn't. But
- 13:16Speaker 1: you know, some places are getting better. And I'll tell
- 13:20Speaker 1: you one thing, Biden and Harris is playing with these
- 13:23Speaker 1: vaccines and these it's starting to help out of course
- 13:27Speaker 1: some places. Or spiking because of the kids would do
- 13:30Speaker 1: young folks. All right, super spreaders. All right, Steve is
- 13:34Speaker 1: back and coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:38Speaker 1: We're gonna find out what's really going on. With Steve.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 13:46Speaker 1: later on this morning, we're going to talk about the
- 13:49Speaker 1: latest killing of an unarmed black man. His name was Dante, right,
- 13:54Speaker 1: Dante was killed during a traffic stop by a twenty
- 13:58Speaker 1: six year veteran officer. Her name is kim Porter. She
- 14:01Speaker 1: since resigned. Uh, she shot right while trying to use
- 14:06Speaker 1: her taser on him. All right, that's the story. And
- 14:11Speaker 1: she has since resigned, so as a police captain. Yesty,
- 14:14Speaker 1: you mean she since she said she thought right, she
- 14:20Speaker 1: was using her taser, but it was her gun. Now,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you just told me something I didn't know. She's been
- 14:25Speaker 1: on the force twenty six years. Yeah, you don't know
- 14:28Speaker 1: the difference between a gun and a taser. I've never
- 14:31Speaker 1: took pistol range training, and I promise you I know
- 14:36Speaker 1: the difference between a gun and a taser. The taser yellow, yes, yeah, right,
- 14:44Speaker 1: yellow yes, purpose, Yeah, it doesn't you know, man, I
- 14:49Speaker 1: have so much to say on this subject, but go
- 14:52Speaker 1: ahead and say it. But but you know, most of
- 14:55Speaker 1: us anger, Yeah, we're out rage. Absolutely. Yeah, here we
- 14:59Speaker 1: go again. I mean, look, man, and and and and
- 15:03Speaker 1: and and and and I don't. I don't understand how
- 15:07Speaker 1: everybody ain't outraged. The only reason you can't be outraged
- 15:10Speaker 1: is because it's just not happening to you in yours.
- 15:14Speaker 1: The only way that this is going to get fixed
- 15:19Speaker 1: is if police suffer the same consequences that we would
- 15:23Speaker 1: suffer if we committed the same DM and call it
- 15:28Speaker 1: what it is. If you're killing an oar person, if
- 15:31Speaker 1: you're choking on oar person, if you kill a person
- 15:35Speaker 1: by accident, if you mistakenly identify somebody and kill them,
- 15:39Speaker 1: all this is gonna get you in jail at minimum
- 15:42Speaker 1: for manslot, right, But you're gonna do some time. And
- 15:46Speaker 1: you can't open up a door and kill somebody and
- 15:49Speaker 1: then say, wow, I thought that was my place. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: Ambergeiger in Dallas, Yeah, both of them, John, Yeah, right,
- 15:56Speaker 1: you remember, Steve, you were traveling. But this happened just
- 15:59Speaker 1: ten miles from where the George Floyd I'm sorry, the
- 16:03Speaker 1: Derek Chauvin trial is going on. That's what is this
- 16:08Speaker 1: police department doing right? Right? Either either they got some
- 16:13Speaker 1: training that that well, there's two different areas. Let me
- 16:17Speaker 1: tell you see, Brooklyn Center is where the officer who
- 16:21Speaker 1: killed Dante, right, that's a city in Minnesota. It's near Minneapolis.
- 16:26Speaker 1: That's the name of the city, Brooklyn Center. And then
- 16:29Speaker 1: Minneapolis is Derek Chauvin. He was a police officer from Minneapolis.
- 16:34Speaker 1: But the same area your point, Yes, the same, the
- 16:38Speaker 1: same It's still in the same state, you know, same area.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But I'm tired for all the other black people. That's tired. Yes,
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm sixty four. I've been sick of this mess. Yes,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I've been sick of it. Yes, I'm so tired of it,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and I'm tired of nothing being done about it, and
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'm tired of them finding a way to lessen the charges.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I was watching the trial on CNN. I saw a
- 17:12Speaker 1: clip on the plane right and the defense on there
- 17:17Speaker 1: that was the yeah, the yeah yeah, the police officer trial.
- 17:20Speaker 1: They put a defense on had a goy on the
- 17:22Speaker 1: trial that says that Chauvin acted within his rights as
- 17:27Speaker 1: a police officer, and he went to what he was
- 17:30Speaker 1: trained to do, or the prosecutor got up there and
- 17:33Speaker 1: ate him alive. Yes, when when a person is in
- 17:40Speaker 1: your custody, are you responsible for his health? He said, yes,
- 17:43Speaker 1: I am. Are you responsible for the treatment of him? Yes,
- 17:46Speaker 1: you are? Are you responsible for any endangerment of that person.
- 17:53Speaker 1: That's he said, yes, we are. He said do you
- 17:57Speaker 1: are you responsible for a person's life at that point,
- 18:01Speaker 1: he said yes you are. He said, so, then that
- 18:03Speaker 1: would mean you were in charge. You're responsible for his breathing. Yes,
- 18:06Speaker 1: what about if he has no pulse? Are you responsible?
- 18:09Speaker 1: He said yes, he said, I rest my case. He
- 18:12Speaker 1: want to set out, Yeah, because I'm sitting to it going, Hey, dude,
- 18:16Speaker 1: did you understand you said Derek Chauvin was within his rights,
- 18:20Speaker 1: but everything the prosecutor asked you showed that what he
- 18:23Speaker 1: was did was out of bounds. I don't even see
- 18:26Speaker 1: why we're wasting this damn money with this. I know
- 18:30Speaker 1: everybody saw what happened on tape all across the world,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and during the trial, they keep playing it over and
- 18:37Speaker 1: over and over, which is and I'm gonna be honest
- 18:43Speaker 1: with you, I'm not watching. Here's what throws me in
- 18:46Speaker 1: this country. It sounds good you're innocent until proven guilty,
- 18:53Speaker 1: but that ain't always the case. If you walked into
- 18:57Speaker 1: school and you shot it, and your ass it's the
- 19:00Speaker 1: only one on trial for shooting it, and everybody know
- 19:04Speaker 1: it was you that shot through. You are not innocent
- 19:08Speaker 1: until proven guilty, y'all ass guilty. Yeah, we see some
- 19:12Speaker 1: of this stuff we don't need to trial for. If
- 19:15Speaker 1: we got shooting in Colorado, you did it, the Columbine
- 19:21Speaker 1: you did it. The little dude with the red hair
- 19:23Speaker 1: to kill all the people in the movie theater. You
- 19:26Speaker 1: did it. The white boy winning that black church and
- 19:28Speaker 1: killed all the people. You did it, Sandy Hook. I
- 19:32Speaker 1: mean you did this. Said not a question about was
- 19:35Speaker 1: it you? It was you. But we have this system
- 19:40Speaker 1: and in this reasonable doubt scenario, too many police officers
- 19:45Speaker 1: are getting off and then the amendment that they have
- 19:48Speaker 1: if he's acting in the line of duty says that
- 19:52Speaker 1: he can get away with certain things. We got to
- 19:54Speaker 1: get rid of all of these laws, y'all because until
- 19:57Speaker 1: they have to pay like we pay, we're the only
- 20:00Speaker 1: was just gonna keep paying. And it's a damn shade.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Remember Jacob Blake in Wisconsin. You remember him, the police
- 20:07Speaker 1: officer that shot him, Jacob Blake. He's back at Yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 1: he's back at work. He's back at work. I saw
- 20:13Speaker 1: that in the same city. Yeah, that paralyzes man m
- 20:17Speaker 1: to Nosha, Wisconsin. Yeah, this is unbelievable. Yeah, what is
- 20:24Speaker 1: that I'm tired of saying this, you know, of going
- 20:29Speaker 1: through this every every so often. But anyway, all right,
- 20:33Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 20:35Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to show. Coming up
- 20:40Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Miss Anne is standing
- 20:43Speaker 1: by with our national news and we'll have today's entertainment news.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Bobby Brown talked about his alcohol dependency on Red Table
- 20:50Speaker 1: Talk plus another entertainment news. Halle Berry says she trusts
- 20:54Speaker 1: men too much. We'll talk about allies at the top
- 20:58Speaker 1: of the Yeah, okay, but right now you don't have
- 21:02Speaker 1: a chance, nephew. But right now, well the nephew is
- 21:05Speaker 1: here with keep going what you got for us. Now, listen,
- 21:11Speaker 1: you gave my sister the wrong directions. You gave my
- 21:16Speaker 1: sister the wrong direction. Let's go cat out who thank
- 21:24Speaker 1: you for Carl. My name is Frederick Stammond. Down, Tamera,
- 21:31Speaker 1: let me see she's any office one moment. Thank you.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Just don't it don't make sense for the all ago
- 21:36Speaker 1: out there like we didn't didn't running in the type
- 21:39Speaker 1: of problem that Hello. Hello, listen, my name is Frederick Stammonds. Okay,
- 21:45Speaker 1: now my sisters Si stam is buried out there, okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: And we come out there last week on Monday to
- 21:53Speaker 1: come out there and pray over the spacewash. Year. Now,
- 21:57Speaker 1: you as the one that told us that it was
- 21:59Speaker 1: a few spaces away from the mother limb. Now we
- 22:03Speaker 1: got out there and prayed over my such the friends
- 22:06Speaker 1: and this barrel, and find out that we were in
- 22:08Speaker 1: the wrong space. And they say, you was the one
- 22:11Speaker 1: that told it to us. So I don't even know
- 22:13Speaker 1: what you're talking about. You was the one that told
- 22:16Speaker 1: us that my suster friend, I don't give us spaces.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm in an administrative office. I don't know why you're
- 22:21Speaker 1: work out. All I know is you was the one
- 22:23Speaker 1: that told us this. No, yes, you did. You were
- 22:27Speaker 1: the one that my grandbaby said that she talked to
- 22:30Speaker 1: the woman named Tabor, and you had us out there
- 22:33Speaker 1: standing over some white man's boy water out of concert.
- 22:36Speaker 1: So I can't tell you we're a space to you.
- 22:38Speaker 1: So your granddaughter last you ain't nobody lige mean that
- 22:42Speaker 1: you had us out there in the wrong space. I
- 22:44Speaker 1: couldn't have had you in the wrong spaces. I don't
- 22:46Speaker 1: even know the cemeteries. You know what, I must send
- 22:50Speaker 1: my grand baby up there to talk to you. Okay,
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'll be here to five. You're very mischievous, you know
- 22:55Speaker 1: that I'll be here to five o'clock. You have a
- 22:58Speaker 1: good day, No, you don't. You hang up, just phone
- 23:00Speaker 1: on me. You have a good day. No, I'm not
- 23:02Speaker 1: gonna have a good day. You had me praying over
- 23:05Speaker 1: the president's body, and that was the raw one. And
- 23:08Speaker 1: when's in that praying over this white man's body? It
- 23:14Speaker 1: was right? Hello, I'm listening to you. You don't have
- 23:17Speaker 1: an apology or nothing, because I know I didn't tell
- 23:20Speaker 1: your granddaughter where a space was. Then what did you
- 23:24Speaker 1: tell them? I don't even know what your granddaughter is.
- 23:26Speaker 1: What do you mean the Stamon's family if we were
- 23:29Speaker 1: not I don't know who the Simmons family is. If
- 23:31Speaker 1: not Simon, that Stamons Stamons, I don't know a Simon's family.
- 23:36Speaker 1: That's what I'm telling you. I'm not a counselor. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: don't even deal with family. Here's what I need you
- 23:41Speaker 1: to do. Can you go out there and pray over
- 23:44Speaker 1: my sons the body. I don't know where your sister
- 23:46Speaker 1: is buried. It's supposed to have been six baths away
- 23:50Speaker 1: from the mother. Limb. I don't are there any faces?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Where is it? Where is it? We was in section two,
- 23:59Speaker 1: but there was something man was that that wasn't my siris. Okay,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I don't even know who your sister friends is. I
- 24:08Speaker 1: do not even know where section two is. Whoever came
- 24:11Speaker 1: into the cemetery and said that they spoke to me.
- 24:14Speaker 1: They probably did speak to me, and I probably got
- 24:17Speaker 1: the information from a concert, but I never told them
- 24:20Speaker 1: exactly where the spot was. So they were out there
- 24:23Speaker 1: praying over your sister, and they were in the wrong spot.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That's not my problem. That's praying over some white man.
- 24:29Speaker 1: That's not my problem, sir. If you gave the wrong
- 24:32Speaker 1: the wrong spot, if you gave the wrong information, it
- 24:35Speaker 1: is just I don't give the wrong information. I told them, yes,
- 24:40Speaker 1: she's in section two. I did not physically go out
- 24:43Speaker 1: there and point to the spot to tell them to
- 24:44Speaker 1: pray over that spot. Let me explain what I'm trying
- 24:47Speaker 1: to stop from happening. If my people come out there,
- 24:50Speaker 1: it's gonna be some more bodies getting buried, and I
- 24:53Speaker 1: don almost nobody to get her. I mean, your family
- 24:55Speaker 1: can come up here. It's not gonna be no more
- 24:57Speaker 1: bodies than buried that. What they can do is come
- 25:00Speaker 1: up here writing. We can conversate about this, but it's
- 25:02Speaker 1: not going to be an up world here. I want
- 25:05Speaker 1: you to go out there and you pray over friends
- 25:07Speaker 1: and the body. I'm not going out to pray over
- 25:09Speaker 1: nobody's body now, it's not Remember I didn't tell them
- 25:14Speaker 1: the wrong information. Do you do you love the Lord
- 25:19Speaker 1: I dearly do? Then you ought to have some sympathy.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I want you to bow your head right now. No,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'm going to end this conversation because that all the
- 25:29Speaker 1: work to do. Now they will come in and trust
- 25:32Speaker 1: to me, I will be hearing to five o'clock. Can
- 25:34Speaker 1: I say one more thing for you? Go one more
- 25:36Speaker 1: thing and I'm ending the car. Okay, this nephew Tommy
- 25:39Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got prank COVID.
- 25:49Speaker 1: You are crazy, your sister to me because sets your
- 25:55Speaker 1: up baby and you just got it baby from nephew.
- 26:00Speaker 1: How mean? Well? You were standing your ground? You like
- 26:05Speaker 1: this guy. You wasn't prayed over the wrong bout it.
- 26:07Speaker 1: That don't mean that I ain't all right. Check it out.
- 26:14Speaker 1: You gotta tell me one thing. What's the baddest radio
- 26:16Speaker 1: show in the land. So so I gotta tell y'all us, right,
- 26:32Speaker 1: this actually happened at a funeral that we went to
- 26:36Speaker 1: went to that that they sent us to the wrong burial.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You know how you get to the cemetery, you say
- 26:43Speaker 1: your last words. Yeah, sent us to the wrong burial
- 26:49Speaker 1: the grave site exactly, did the whole prayer and everything,
- 26:54Speaker 1: and find out later that it was not our loved
- 26:56Speaker 1: one man. Yeah, says mister Harris brupt. But guess what
- 27:03Speaker 1: happened wind up getting the entire funeral for free because
- 27:09Speaker 1: of that. Oh yeah, Like I told you yesterday, you
- 27:14Speaker 1: should have gone to bury By Bernards. Shout out to
- 27:19Speaker 1: Memphis Berards and Bernards. You know, I'm gonna start watching
- 27:27Speaker 1: you all Bernards, but I want to make show Bernards

- 28:01Speaker 1: you hearing I'm working and workrnos ws okay, well, are
- 28:06Speaker 1: you working all right? Nephew? Thank you. Coming up at
- 28:11Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment and
- 28:14Speaker 1: national news for you. Right after this. You're listening to
- 28:17Speaker 1: This Day Morning Show and Today's Entertainment News. Former New
- 28:23Speaker 1: Edition member Bobby Brown sat down with Jada Pinkett Smiths
- 28:26Speaker 1: on Red Table Talk. This time, Bobby has opened up
- 28:29Speaker 1: about how substance abuse affected his life and the lives
- 28:33Speaker 1: of his loved ones. For instance, Bobby said that his
- 28:36Speaker 1: alcoholism made him completely dependent. He says, I wasn't getting
- 28:40Speaker 1: drunk anymore. I wasn't getting a little tipsy anymore. I
- 28:44Speaker 1: needed it to wake up. I needed it to stop
- 28:46Speaker 1: the shakes. I needed it to function on a day
- 28:49Speaker 1: to day basis. He says. For me, it wasn't recreational. Um,
- 28:54Speaker 1: it just wasn't you know. He needed it. He he
- 28:57Speaker 1: just talked about the deaths of his children. Bobby Christina
- 29:00Speaker 1: and Bobby Brown Junior. Um. He said, um, yeah, I mean,
- 29:05Speaker 1: you know you just felt for Bobby, as you know,
- 29:07Speaker 1: both of them, of course, died of drug related causes.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Bobby is just heartbroken, just heartbroken. I just saw Bobby
- 29:16Speaker 1: when we were shooting Celebrity Family Feud a week ago.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I saw him at the hotel with his family, and
- 29:25Speaker 1: I just helved a brother. Man. He said, unk, I
- 29:27Speaker 1: appreciate you, man. I said, no, I appreciate you something
- 29:30Speaker 1: like ro man. But Bobby, Bobby really looked well, man.
- 29:35Speaker 1: He really looked well good. And I think I thanked
- 29:40Speaker 1: his girl for standing beside him, you know, seeing him
- 29:42Speaker 1: through these hard time because her brother been through it. Man.
- 29:45Speaker 1: But he really looked well, man. And I've seen Bobby
- 29:49Speaker 1: a lot over the years. This is the best I've
- 29:51Speaker 1: seen Bobby Brown little. That's good. Oh he was clean, man,
- 29:56Speaker 1: he was solid, and kids was climbing on him, loving him.
- 29:59Speaker 1: You know. It was a really good thing. I was
- 30:03Speaker 1: really warmed to see Bobby. And I told his sister too,
- 30:06Speaker 1: you know, I said, hey, I really appreciate your standing bodies, man.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I said, because that's what you need, man, you need
- 30:12Speaker 1: a support system. Yeah. Yeah, sure you're right, Yeah, all right.
- 30:17Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, halle Berry has admitted something we
- 30:23Speaker 1: all suspected. Um. Hallie says she tends to trust men
- 30:27Speaker 1: too much. Um. This was during an episode of her
- 30:30Speaker 1: IG series Bad and Bougie with her best friend Lindsay
- 30:34Speaker 1: flores Um. They were discussing real versus fake friends, and Hallie,
- 30:39Speaker 1: who's been divorced we know three times, said that she
- 30:42Speaker 1: tends to look at the good in people, and especially
- 30:46Speaker 1: the good in men. Her friend was a little more blunt,
- 30:49Speaker 1: saying that Hallie can't see the forest for the trees.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Listen to my voice, Haley, Well, you ain't got shot
- 30:57Speaker 1: in here, but go ahead, let's hear. Let's hear. J
- 31:00Speaker 1: come on, little force, little force, a little force. But listen.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I am here if you need me, if you're ever
- 31:12Speaker 1: so desire, Tommy is here. Haley. Just listen to my
- 31:15Speaker 1: voice whenever you hear this whole morning. Yeah, Tommy curiosity.
- 31:23Speaker 1: You do know your status? Right? He Oh man, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 1: just playing with Haley. Hell I'm just playing, ain't I mean?
- 31:30Speaker 1: I mean, if you'll get caught up in anything like that,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I just speaking to just caught up any you were
- 31:37Speaker 1: trying to pull your ass out of it. I'm just saying,
- 31:41Speaker 1: believe you call it heten, what are you doing? Listen
- 31:50Speaker 1: to this bush. I know you can't see the force
- 31:52Speaker 1: for the trees, but I'm just aberys this nursery. Yeah,
- 32:04Speaker 1: I'm just a plant. I ain't even trying to be
- 32:06Speaker 1: that much to you. All Right, we're moving on, guys.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Time for today's headline Steve. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne trip,
- 32:16Speaker 1: thank you, thank you very much. This is a trip
- 32:18Speaker 1: with the news. Well, I'm part some of those trees
- 32:20Speaker 1: for y'all and tell you what's going on. President Biden
- 32:23Speaker 1: is announced that he intends to end America's longest war
- 32:27Speaker 1: by pulling all US troops out of Afghanistan. And soon.
- 32:31Speaker 1: We went to Afghanistan because of a horrific attack that
- 32:33Speaker 1: happened twenty years ago. That cannot explain why we should
- 32:38Speaker 1: remain there in twenty twenty one. We have to focus
- 32:41Speaker 1: on the challenges that are in front of us. We
- 32:44Speaker 1: cannot continue the cycle of extending or expanding our military
- 32:49Speaker 1: presidence in Afghanistan, hoping to create ideal conditions for their
- 32:53Speaker 1: drawal and expecting a different result. The President says he
- 32:57Speaker 1: knows many lawmakers are going to quote loudly insist that
- 33:00Speaker 1: diplomacy can succeed without a robust US military in place
- 33:04Speaker 1: over there, But he says he'd be the fourth US
- 33:07Speaker 1: president to preside over that situation, and it hasn't worked yet.
- 33:11Speaker 1: So mister Biden says US service members are going to
- 33:13Speaker 1: start leaving Afghanistan on May first, which Donald Trump had
- 33:17Speaker 1: promised that was going to be Donald Trump's day. But
- 33:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump said that would be the mark of the
- 33:21Speaker 1: very end of his pullout. Mister Biden said that would go.
- 33:25Speaker 1: It's too fast, so he's doing it. He's starting it today.
- 33:28Speaker 1: He's starting it rather May first. Biden thought that that
- 33:31Speaker 1: was too soon, so he's beginning getting withdrawal May first.
- 33:34Speaker 1: The white now retired Brooklyn Center, Minnesota police officer who
- 33:37Speaker 1: shot and killed twenty year old unarmed Dante Wright has
- 33:40Speaker 1: been arrested, booked free on two million dollars bail, and
- 33:43Speaker 1: doing court later on this morning. Kim Potter, a twenty
- 33:46Speaker 1: six year veteran and training officer, claimed she didn't realize
- 33:50Speaker 1: that she'd pulled her gun and not her taser when
- 33:52Speaker 1: she killed the young black man after pulling him over
- 33:54Speaker 1: and a traffic stop. Potter's charge with a second degree
- 33:56Speaker 1: manslaughter and now in hiding because someone leaked her address.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Legal analysts say that the penalty in Minnesota for second
- 34:03Speaker 1: degree manslaughter ranges from ten years in prison to only
- 34:06Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars in fines. Some people, like civil rights
- 34:09Speaker 1: attorney Benjamin Crump, wonder why she was trying to chase
- 34:12Speaker 1: the unarmed man the first place. Instead is simply giving
- 34:14Speaker 1: him a ticket. In fact, Crump says that's what Derek
- 34:16Speaker 1: Schauvin should have done with George Floyd. Speaking which the
- 34:19Speaker 1: defense in the Derek Chauvin George Floyd murder trial yesterday
- 34:22Speaker 1: brought in their own forensic pathologists, doctor David Fowler, who
- 34:26Speaker 1: said that George Floyd had died of a bad heart
- 34:28Speaker 1: and not strangulation. Mister Floyd had a sudden cardiac a
- 34:32Speaker 1: rhythmia or cardiac a rhythmia due to his anthroscogic and
- 34:37Speaker 1: hypertensive heart disease, or you can write that down multiple
- 34:40Speaker 1: diffroms during his restraint, and said Joel by the pizza
- 34:45Speaker 1: restrained by the police. Well, they're making their case. The
- 34:48Speaker 1: CDC says that they wanted to take another ten days
- 34:50Speaker 1: before deciding if people can start taking Jay and Jay's
- 34:53Speaker 1: COVID vaccine again and time marches on. Now back to
- 34:58Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show listening. Okay, So Steve, now
- 35:04Speaker 1: for those of us, for those who may have missed it,
- 35:07Speaker 1: please tell us where you are and just what's going
- 35:09Speaker 1: on with you. We want to know what's up, what's happening. Oh,
- 35:13Speaker 1: it's a long flight to Africa, but and then it's
- 35:17Speaker 1: a huge time difference, especially for La. So I left
- 35:22Speaker 1: a Family Feud uh last week last Sunday and uh
- 35:28Speaker 1: and and I left and started the flight to Johannesburg,
- 35:33Speaker 1: but I had to stop through Dubai. So then then
- 35:36Speaker 1: we flew on in And now I'm um sitting in
- 35:39Speaker 1: Johannesburg and getting ready tomorrow morning tomorrow to start taping
- 35:45Speaker 1: Family Feud in Africa. Yeah, this is the second season
- 35:51Speaker 1: of Family Feud South Africa. It's the number one show
- 35:55Speaker 1: in South Africa. It's going really really well, and we're
- 35:58Speaker 1: over here just to do the set a season. So
- 36:01Speaker 1: that's what I'm doing now. It's a huge time difference.
- 36:03Speaker 1: So good morning to everybody. But it ain't morn into me.
- 36:11Speaker 1: You're adjusting. Steve. Yeah, I gotta ask you this, what's
- 36:15Speaker 1: the difference between doing family feud in Africa and doing
- 36:19Speaker 1: family feud here in the US. Well, I mean there's
- 36:22Speaker 1: a big bit of a challenge the accents. Because I'm
- 36:28Speaker 1: the one over here with the accent. They can understand
- 36:32Speaker 1: me because they have every TV station you can name,
- 36:35Speaker 1: But now them a little bit different. I don't know
- 36:40Speaker 1: what they'd be saying. Sometimes all you gotta do is
- 36:42Speaker 1: watch your clips. One of the questions was, but it's
- 36:44Speaker 1: English though, right, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, oh oh, they
- 36:46Speaker 1: all speak English. But you know there's five thousand, No,
- 36:49Speaker 1: there's two thousand and two hundred, two thousand and two
- 36:53Speaker 1: hundred different, and there's different dialects, different sects. I mean, man,
- 36:56Speaker 1: this place is really and you know, you have different
- 37:01Speaker 1: different cultures, different regions, different tribes, and it's all and
- 37:05Speaker 1: we have all different types on this show. So I
- 37:09Speaker 1: meet everybody, man, and it was really cool. It's really
- 37:12Speaker 1: a learning experience for me. They know all about America. Yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 1: but I'm really learning a lot over here. It's really really, really,
- 37:18Speaker 1: really kind of a cool thing. Food is a bit different,
- 37:21Speaker 1: but it's delicious. Lord of Him is it. They got
- 37:24Speaker 1: some great, great meals over to the a Central African
- 37:27Speaker 1: Republican and say what's up to my people, because that's
- 37:31Speaker 1: where you know, I'd like to ask I came from.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I'm from Ghana. My people, h we act like it's
- 37:38Speaker 1: just right by. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all.
- 37:44Speaker 1: You know, you know, y'alling had y'alls roots research and everything. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 1: African ancestry callers from Ghana. Yes, I'm from the Central
- 37:53Speaker 1: African Republic. I'm gonna be with Jo pretty soon, calling
- 37:56Speaker 1: because because one of my best friends is there. We
- 37:58Speaker 1: gotta go see my cousin said yeah. A minute thirty
- 38:04Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour more of the Steve Harvey
- 38:07Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 38:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Dante Wright was killed during a traffic
- 38:16Speaker 1: stop when a twenty six year veteran officer, Kim Kim Potter,
- 38:21Speaker 1: accidentally shot him. She claimed she was trying to use
- 38:25Speaker 1: her taser on him, saying it was a mistake she
- 38:28Speaker 1: pulled her gun. Yesterday, Nisha Wright, the aunt of Dante Wright,
- 38:33Speaker 1: spoke at the family's press conference about the killing of
- 38:36Speaker 1: her twenty year old nephew, Tick a listen, please, sad night,
- 38:42Speaker 1: sad night. They murdered my nephew. She killed my nephew.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Every pistol, every dayser, it has a safety on it.
- 38:57Speaker 1: She saw that she had to release that. I watched
- 39:01Speaker 1: that video like everybody else watched that video. That woman
- 39:05Speaker 1: held that gun out in front of up our long
- 39:08Speaker 1: damn time, my long damn file. Yes he did. My
- 39:14Speaker 1: nephew was twenty years old. Twenty years old. I don't
- 39:20Speaker 1: care what nobody got to say about him. He was love,
- 39:24Speaker 1: he was our. He came from my brother. My sister's hurt.
- 39:33Speaker 1: You feel her pain, Oh Lord Jesus and Dante right
- 39:38Speaker 1: had a two year old son. See that we see
- 39:44Speaker 1: and and I don't. I don't know what has to happen.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I just don't. I'm gonna just be real honest with you.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'm disappointed in this country. I have been, but now
- 39:58Speaker 1: because of social media, when you see what we've known
- 40:03Speaker 1: all these years, I've known this mind tire life, this
- 40:07Speaker 1: type of behavior for police, and what people have had
- 40:10Speaker 1: to do. You know, listen, what what what's what? The
- 40:14Speaker 1: troubling part of me, the sickening part for me now
- 40:17Speaker 1: is when we show it to you you're gonna do
- 40:20Speaker 1: a damn thing when we let you see it what
- 40:24Speaker 1: we've been seeing. It's still business as usual. This is
- 40:27Speaker 1: the same damn state. Just just happened. Just got a
- 40:30Speaker 1: man on trial, not not not miles from here, and
- 40:34Speaker 1: now we got another incident from another officer? Are you
- 40:37Speaker 1: kidding me? Are you kidding a year? Lay't even look man,
- 40:44Speaker 1: and what has to happen here? Are you gonna wait
- 40:48Speaker 1: until it happened to one of yours? That's all I
- 40:52Speaker 1: can think of now that the only hope we got
- 40:57Speaker 1: is that it happens to one of yours. That's all
- 41:00Speaker 1: all I can see. That's all I can see. And
- 41:02Speaker 1: you know, Steve, people are saying, well, why didn't he comply?
- 41:04Speaker 1: Why didn't he just comply? Why didn't he just do
- 41:07Speaker 1: what the officer said? You don't understand this young man
- 41:10Speaker 1: is scared. Do you know how many cop shows I've seen? Well,
- 41:18Speaker 1: white people don't comply with the police officer, but they
- 41:23Speaker 1: don't die for it, right, Just cut cut all the
- 41:28Speaker 1: damn cop shows on It happens every day. Just look
- 41:31Speaker 1: at it. This is America and stop saying, stop saying,
- 41:35Speaker 1: this is not the America. We have this? Is it? Yeah?
- 41:39Speaker 1: Is this the one we see? Like Marta Luther King say,
- 41:43Speaker 1: all black people won't is for America to be what
- 41:46Speaker 1: you say you are on paper? And how much longer
- 41:50Speaker 1: do you want us to be patient? Do you do that?
- 41:52Speaker 1: How much? Why long we got We've been here for
- 41:54Speaker 1: a hundred years, right, how long we got to wait?
- 41:58Speaker 1: But that tape the other day and my son just
- 42:00Speaker 1: showed me this video of this white man in the
- 42:03Speaker 1: airport getting taken down by the TSA, and he said,
- 42:08Speaker 1: you're treating me like blanking black people. Wow. Wow? Have
- 42:14Speaker 1: you seen that video? Yeah? No, I haven't seen it.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Oh doglet let me send it to you. Okay, they're
- 42:22Speaker 1: trying to he's fighting them with the coust He told them,
- 42:27Speaker 1: you're treating me like a blanking black person. He said it.
- 42:35Speaker 1: He said it so they know they'll wear Yeah. Yeah,
- 42:39Speaker 1: but let me tell you something. It's not a secret.
- 42:41Speaker 1: He did a really cool video after that. He said,
- 42:44Speaker 1: if they do this to me, all right, and I'm
- 42:48Speaker 1: a fifty nine year old doctor. We'll be back with
- 42:51Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 42:58Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after
- 43:01Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter forward today the subject please stop
- 43:06Speaker 1: me from cheating. We'll get into that. We'll wait till
- 43:10Speaker 1: you hear this. We'll get into that in a few Yeah, yeah,
- 43:14Speaker 1: yourself yourself all right, But right now the nephew is
- 43:18Speaker 1: here with today's praying phone call. What you got for us? Neff?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Side job clean us? Yeah? Fine, job clean? What I'm
- 43:28Speaker 1: saying that side job cleaning? You ain't ready for you?
- 43:32Speaker 1: Watch me work. Let's go get down side job clean us?
- 43:36Speaker 1: Talk or Jarvis is Robbie? How can I help you? Robbie?
- 43:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to get a order in for some construction
- 43:42Speaker 1: uh supplies I need to pick up. That's fine. What's
- 43:44Speaker 1: your what's your company? Uh? Roofing company? Okay? Have we
- 43:50Speaker 1: have we done listening to you before? No? No, you
- 43:52Speaker 1: have it. This is my first time call. I heard
- 43:54Speaker 1: you guys were pretty good. I appreciate the compliment. Okay,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I know. Listen. Uh, I need to get this as
- 43:59Speaker 1: soon as possible. Man, can I possibly pick up these
- 44:01Speaker 1: supplies like in the next couple of hours? Uh? Well,
- 44:04Speaker 1: you know, normally don't work that fat kind of a
- 44:06Speaker 1: quick turnaround. We got a little bit of a backup,
- 44:08Speaker 1: but I can I can get my BASTI depends on
- 44:10Speaker 1: what you need. Okay, here's here's what I need. Man,
- 44:12Speaker 1: I need five rolls of duct tape. Okay, that's no problem,
- 44:16Speaker 1: that's quick. Okay, I need plastic. Man. Listen, if you
- 44:20Speaker 1: was gonna wrap up something in plastic that's like about uh,
- 44:24Speaker 1: six foot two in height and two hundred pounds, how
- 44:28Speaker 1: much plastic you think I would need to wrap to
- 44:30Speaker 1: wrap that up? In this the second you're you're asking
- 44:33Speaker 1: for plastics, like a roll of plastics. Yeah, but I'm
- 44:35Speaker 1: telling I need to wrap up something that's six foot
- 44:37Speaker 1: two and like two hundred and ten pounds. I probably
- 44:40Speaker 1: wouldn't get about three yards four yards of plastic. Okay, okay,
- 44:44Speaker 1: I need to get that. Then let me ask you
- 44:46Speaker 1: this here. If you was gonna try to put some
- 44:49Speaker 1: seamen on that to hold it down, how much seamen
- 44:51Speaker 1: you think I hold that down? I'm look confused. You
- 44:54Speaker 1: you're running the roofing company, right, Yeah, I'm a roof
- 44:56Speaker 1: of company, but I'm doing a little side work for
- 44:58Speaker 1: some friends of mine. Oh okay, okay, I just got
- 45:01Speaker 1: a little confused. Can you tell me it's the Collegers
- 45:03Speaker 1: and company? No problem, no problem, We've got some man
- 45:05Speaker 1: way You're you're you're trying to hold something down. I'm
- 45:08Speaker 1: trying to I'm trying to hold something down. So how
- 45:10Speaker 1: many bags to see men? Do you think I need
- 45:12Speaker 1: to hold out something that's two hundred and twenty pounds? Wow?
- 45:17Speaker 1: I don't know. E eight bags? Eight bags? Eight bags?
- 45:21Speaker 1: I would recommend at least. Okay, okay, give me eight
- 45:23Speaker 1: bags to see men. Now, just something else I want
- 45:25Speaker 1: to ask you. Do you have anything any type of
- 45:28Speaker 1: cleaner man that can get uh, that can get blood?
- 45:30Speaker 1: I mean a paint off the floor. Yeah. We got
- 45:32Speaker 1: industrial cleaners, I mean all kinds of industrial cleaners that
- 45:35Speaker 1: when you said paint the paint or blood, uh, paint
- 45:39Speaker 1: pat pat. Oh okay, yeah, I mean I've got industrial cleaners,
- 45:42Speaker 1: all kinds. And you have a preference. No, just whatever
- 45:45Speaker 1: you could throw in there. I need that. Now let
- 45:47Speaker 1: me ask you this here. Do you have anything that
- 45:49Speaker 1: can like just kill a smell? You know what I'm
- 45:52Speaker 1: saying that if you know, if you don't want something
- 45:53Speaker 1: to smell, you got anything for that way? Something something
- 45:56Speaker 1: something die in your place is something something? Did you
- 46:00Speaker 1: like there an animal or something you found? I mean,
- 46:02Speaker 1: I'm kind of confused. You're talking about smell and cleaning up.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Did you find some sort of animal on a construction?
- 46:07Speaker 1: A robby? Listen, man, just take the order. That's all
- 46:10Speaker 1: I need you to do. Okay, Okay, No, I'm sorry.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I wasn't asking your business. I just it was a
- 46:14Speaker 1: little concerned. What are we getting? What are we cleaning up?
- 46:17Speaker 1: And what do we I mean I guess that are
- 46:19Speaker 1: we clean up a tile ford to clean up carpet?
- 46:21Speaker 1: I mean, what's the what's the cleaner form? What's what?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Where's the odor? Sir? All, I'm asking you, do you
- 46:26Speaker 1: have something strong enough? Like do you think ammonia can
- 46:30Speaker 1: can keep a smell down? What do I need to
- 46:31Speaker 1: keep a smell down? You're definitely gonna need ammonia. I mean,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you're gonna get something to just scrub that right down.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Because whoever that sense is, if it's in your if
- 46:39Speaker 1: it's in the walls, if you got fabrics in that place,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I mean, whatever whatever you got it, you probably have
- 46:44Speaker 1: a different type of the odorize or something for the
- 46:45Speaker 1: carpets of them for the walls. I mean, I don't.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I guess, I guess it's kind of confused as to
- 46:50Speaker 1: as to where the sense coming from. And I don't
- 46:54Speaker 1: worry about all that. Man, Hey, man, listen, just just
- 46:56Speaker 1: right down. What the order is? Okay, I got it you.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I got the five holds of duck there, I got
- 47:01Speaker 1: to the full yards of plastic at the eight back
- 47:03Speaker 1: of cement. I got the industrial cleaner, I got the ammonia.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I'm i'm, I'm, I'm typing it all in. I got
- 47:07Speaker 1: I've got your order. Okay, let me do y'all. Hell uh,
- 47:10Speaker 1: any type of machet anything that's real shop they can
- 47:13Speaker 1: put what? Oh okay, hold on a second. And now
- 47:17Speaker 1: now you're completely off base. You do realize you call
- 47:19Speaker 1: the hardware store, right, I'm calling the hardware stalker. But
- 47:22Speaker 1: I need some supplies. Man, I'm doing the job on
- 47:24Speaker 1: the side. I need some supplies. I get there, you can.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You said there already. But I'm confused about it is.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Now you're asking for a weapon. What what what would
- 47:31Speaker 1: use a machetting for? I mean, you're you're talking about
- 47:34Speaker 1: what you're gonna chop down some some some brush. I don't,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I don't, I don't get it. What's the macheting for? Hey? Man, listen, listen.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Your job is to take the order man, that's your job, Robbie,
- 47:43Speaker 1: don't tell me what my job is. I know what
- 47:45Speaker 1: my job is. This is my store, man, Okay. I've
- 47:48Speaker 1: been working here a lot longer than you even can
- 47:51Speaker 1: match it. And people don't call up asking for ammonia
- 47:54Speaker 1: and and cleaner and and trying to get a smell out.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I mean what I just I'm trying to figure out
- 47:59Speaker 1: how best to help you. I'm sorry where I'm doing, Robbie,
- 48:02Speaker 1: is you be a nosy? You be a nosy. All
- 48:04Speaker 1: you gotta do is field or order. And I haven't
- 48:06Speaker 1: haven't done in two hours when I get there. That's
- 48:08Speaker 1: all you gotta do. I can't do that in two hours.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I can't even I go back duck with this point.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm not even sure I can get this done. Maybe
- 48:16Speaker 1: tomorrow morning, just tomorrow morning work for ye oh. Man.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I got to get rid of this body. I got
- 48:21Speaker 1: to get rid of this guys today. Whoa whoa, whoa,
- 48:24Speaker 1: whoa whoa. I need to call listen, I need to
- 48:27Speaker 1: call the policeman. You just hit body man right there.
- 48:32Speaker 1: That's about white people always want to call the police
- 48:34Speaker 1: when it ain't got nothing to do with them. Listen,
- 48:37Speaker 1: all you need to do is field or order. Okay, Okay,
- 48:41Speaker 1: you're listen. I need to tell you something. Okay. And
- 48:44Speaker 1: I don't know if you if you found a body,
- 48:46Speaker 1: I don't know if you're respondful for the body either way.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I don't want to be any part of this business. Okay.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I don't know why you're planning or where you're trying
- 48:53Speaker 1: to bury this thing, but you're basically asking me to
- 48:55Speaker 1: be an accomplice to something that's none of my business. Hey,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I need your name right now. Okay, what I'm not
- 49:01Speaker 1: giving you my name? You say those trufing Hey, hey,

- 49:37Speaker 1: people here, they all know who I am. And I
- 49:39Speaker 1: know if I was talking to someone so you, I'd
- 49:42Speaker 1: be talking like this too. Okay, I'm gonna trace this

- 52:19Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 52:22Speaker 1: What were you doing thinking about halle Berry a subject?
- 52:27Speaker 1: Please stop me from cheating. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am
- 52:32Speaker 1: a fifty three year old man and I have been
- 52:34Speaker 1: married for going on twenty five years. My wife and
- 52:37Speaker 1: I used to have an active sex life, but for
- 52:39Speaker 1: the past few years the magic has been happening less
- 52:43Speaker 1: and less, and now we do it once or twice
- 52:46Speaker 1: a year. I've talked to her about it, but she
- 52:48Speaker 1: always seems to make up excuses. The one I hear
- 52:51Speaker 1: the most is that she's not in the mood because
- 52:54Speaker 1: I've made her mad about something. Or she'll say something
- 52:57Speaker 1: like if you picked up your clothes off the floor
- 52:59Speaker 1: side times and maybe I would give you some On
- 53:02Speaker 1: those rare occasions when we do have sex. It has
- 53:05Speaker 1: become so boring. She just lies there until it's over.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Sometimes it is so terrible, I just rush to complete
- 53:13Speaker 1: the job. Lately, I find myself on adult sights online,
- 53:17Speaker 1: looking for one night stands and hanging out at my
- 53:20Speaker 1: favorite bar talking to women. I love my wife and
- 53:23Speaker 1: I think she loves me, but I also like sex.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I work over night, so me not coming home is
- 53:30Speaker 1: an unusual So far, I've met up with one woman
- 53:33Speaker 1: from my past and we just had an oral exchange,
- 53:36Speaker 1: but nothing else. I don't want to continue this behavior,
- 53:39Speaker 1: but I don't think that my wife even cares anymore.
- 53:43Speaker 1: This lady from my past that I fooled around with
- 53:45Speaker 1: wants to give me more, but I'm not really into
- 53:47Speaker 1: her like that. There's another lady that I work with
- 53:50Speaker 1: and we've interacted a lot. I have told her about
- 53:54Speaker 1: my situation and she's willing to help me out. She's
- 53:58Speaker 1: single and said there would be no expectations on her end.
- 54:02Speaker 1: That's ideal for me. Right now, I'm praying for strength
- 54:06Speaker 1: to step out on my wife and I have needs
- 54:09Speaker 1: and I think it's only a matter of time. Am
- 54:12Speaker 1: I justified in my actions if I cheat on my wife?
- 54:16Speaker 1: Please advise? All right, I'm gonna say this, No, there
- 54:20Speaker 1: is no justification to cheat. I got it. Everybody has
- 54:25Speaker 1: needs all of that. We all have needs. But I'm
- 54:28Speaker 1: not going to give you an out here. I'm just not.
- 54:30Speaker 1: And please stop blaming your wife. Have you even considered
- 54:34Speaker 1: what she said about you here? I'll repeat it. You
- 54:38Speaker 1: said in your letter that your wife said if you
- 54:40Speaker 1: picked up your clothes off the floor sometimes and maybe
- 54:43Speaker 1: I would give you some. In other words, she's sick
- 54:46Speaker 1: of your mess. She's sick of all of this stuff.
- 54:48Speaker 1: You know, things change. You guys have been married for
- 54:51Speaker 1: twenty five years. She's trying to tell you what she
- 54:54Speaker 1: needs to keep herself going in the marriage. You didn't
- 54:57Speaker 1: say what you were willing to do to help your
- 54:59Speaker 1: own situation out except for go someplace else to try
- 55:03Speaker 1: and get it done. You know, And I'm gonna tell
- 55:07Speaker 1: you this, don't don't do it with someone you work with. Okay,
- 55:10Speaker 1: what if she turns out to be a psychopath or something.
- 55:13Speaker 1: You know that he's taking a big chance right there.
- 55:16Speaker 1: You really really are. Your wife again, is trying to
- 55:19Speaker 1: tell you what she needs, and what are you willing
- 55:22Speaker 1: to do to help this situation out? You haven't mentioned
- 55:24Speaker 1: that you cleaned up after yourself, like she want started
- 55:27Speaker 1: picking up your clothes. You didn't say that, and then
- 55:30Speaker 1: you haven't romanced her. You didn't mention anything about romance
- 55:33Speaker 1: in the letter. Have you massaged her? Feed? Have you
- 55:35Speaker 1: cooked dinner for her? Run her a hot bad? You know?
- 55:38Speaker 1: Women like romance, We like attention, we like affection, we
- 55:41Speaker 1: like all that stuff. I mean, you said you still
- 55:44Speaker 1: love her, so really love her, okay, and mean it
- 55:49Speaker 1: for a change before you go start stepping out on
- 55:51Speaker 1: her again. Steve, All right, I'm gonna just get right
- 55:55Speaker 1: to it. Please stop me from cheat. Do what? Yeah,
- 56:02Speaker 1: you actually wrote this and you and you said Steve
- 56:06Speaker 1: and Shirley, see you can say that, Shirley. But bron,
- 56:09Speaker 1: come on, fifty three year old black dude. Come on, man,
- 56:12Speaker 1: you talked to a six year ye old black dude
- 56:14Speaker 1: and you please help me stop cheat? What? What? How?
- 56:19Speaker 1: This is your decision and yours alone. It's your decision
- 56:24Speaker 1: to cheat. Is your decision to stop. We can't help
- 56:28Speaker 1: you the hell you may help me, bro, Come on,
- 56:33Speaker 1: stop this right here, listen to me. I don't know
- 56:35Speaker 1: why you wrote the letter. Maybe as your guilt conscience,
- 56:37Speaker 1: I don't know, but you go, don't you gone? I
- 56:41Speaker 1: already know it's all in the letter. You're gone, you
- 56:44Speaker 1: you you out of here. You've been married, it's going
- 56:47Speaker 1: on twenty five years. Y'all used to have after sex life,
- 56:51Speaker 1: but now the magic has been happening lesson, lesson. Now
- 56:54Speaker 1: we do it once or twice a year, once or
- 56:57Speaker 1: twice a year, once or twice a year. No, you're
- 57:06Speaker 1: not sitting around for that. I know you're not. Stop
- 57:09Speaker 1: and and and and and and and this is what
- 57:12Speaker 1: she says. I've talked to you about it, but she's
- 57:14Speaker 1: always seems to make up excuses. The one I hear
- 57:17Speaker 1: the most is that she's not in the move because
- 57:19Speaker 1: I made her mad about something, or she canna say
- 57:22Speaker 1: something like if you pick up your clothes off the
- 57:24Speaker 1: flow sometimes, then maybe I'll give you something. What wait
- 57:27Speaker 1: a minute, hold on, talk. You really think that her
- 57:31Speaker 1: not giving you some and it's tied to some clothes
- 57:34Speaker 1: on the flow? What you dog? You think that whether
- 57:43Speaker 1: she give you some or not, it's tied to a
- 57:46Speaker 1: pile of clothes on the flow. Dog, This is something
- 57:52Speaker 1: altogether different. This is the reason she giving you now?
- 57:55Speaker 1: I think it's cause you stepping out and she know it.
- 57:59Speaker 1: But she ain't giving you something for a whole other reason.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Ain't got nothing to do with your clothes in the float.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Can't get the socket the blown baby, baby baby? Want
- 58:10Speaker 1: to do something tonight? See that sock over there. I
- 58:15Speaker 1: can't do this with that sock over there, baby baby?
- 58:19Speaker 1: How about tonight? Okay, Wait a minute, Wait a minute.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Is that your share hanging over the back of your
- 58:26Speaker 1: shirt hanging over back in that chap? Bro Come on, man,
- 58:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you the truth for me. Come back, all right, Steve.
- 58:38Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 58:41Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, subject please stop me
- 58:45Speaker 1: from cheating. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 58:48Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, all right? Come on, Steve, let's
- 58:53Speaker 1: recap today Strawberry letters, subject please stop me from cheating?
- 58:58Speaker 1: Fifty three year old dude. Tell my been married going
- 59:00Speaker 1: on twenty five years, and he wants us to help
- 59:03Speaker 1: me and Sherley to help him stop from cheating. They
- 59:08Speaker 1: have sex twice a year now, it's happening. Lesson, Lesson.
- 59:11Speaker 1: She always makes up excuses for that, and the one
- 59:15Speaker 1: he hears the motion, she ain't in the mood because
- 59:17Speaker 1: I made her mad about something. Well, you've been making
- 59:20Speaker 1: her mad a lot because you ain't have a sex
- 59:22Speaker 1: twice a year, so she must stay mad. And then
- 59:25Speaker 1: the other one she said was if you picked up
- 59:26Speaker 1: your clothes off the flow sometime, then maybe I will
- 59:29Speaker 1: give you something. If your sex life is tied to
- 59:32Speaker 1: some clothes and the flow, I just don't that right there.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I would give you some. But did you see you
- 59:41Speaker 1: laid that dish rag back on that stove you got
- 59:45Speaker 1: through Washington dishes. We're not having sex with that dish
- 59:48Speaker 1: rag down now on the stove. Oh no, wait a minute,
- 59:51Speaker 1: hold up, you vacuum the floor and you didn't put
- 59:53Speaker 1: the vacuum up, and now you want some. We're not
- 59:59Speaker 1: doing thing that vacuum out of. It's not in the
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Come on, listen to me. This is not how this works.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: It ain't how this work at all. So there's a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: whole other reason why you all are not having sex
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the twice a year. Ain't got nothing to do with
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the close and the wife and the reason you're mad
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: or like, yeah, they having sex twice a year, it's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: because you work. Nineteen you said that. It's it's interesting
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: because you work with late nights and you usually don't
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: have to come home. So what you've said to do
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: is that when you do have sex, that it's so boring.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: She just lay down and it's terrible that you have. Well,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: lately you find yourself on a dote, sites online looking
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: for someone night stand and hanging out at my favorite
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: bar talking to women. Now, I love my wife and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I think she loves me, but I also like sex.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I work overnight, so me not coming home isn't unusual.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Now here's where Here's where he gets a real faith.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: So I met up with one woman from my past
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and we just had an oral exchange, but nothing else.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I don't want to continue this behavior. Boy, boy, you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: don't want to continue this behavior. You don't met up
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: with a woman from your past and all y'all having
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: is an oral exchange, and you don't want to continue
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: this behavior. You thought you were gonna type that to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, and until after Steve Harvey, I can't believe
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you typed it myself. Your fingers went across your keyboard
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and said these words like here he had a straight face,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: dog dog Doc. That's the most unreasonable thing he could
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: have possibly said, we have a ail exchange, and that's
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: nothing else. I won't I don't want to continue. Okay,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: we'll stop, that's real. So but just stop. You ain't
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: in jail, ain't nobody got no gun on your head.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Just stop? Okay. So now, but I don't think that
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: my wife even cares anymore. This lady from my past
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: that I fool around with wants to give me more,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: but I'm not really into her like that. Then hego to,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: hego to this way started getting more fuzzy. There's another
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: lady that I work with. It we've interacted a lot. Okay,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: now what that means? He interacted? He had an or
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: exchange with the other one. This one we didn't interacted
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: a lot? What that meaning? Though? I ain't never interacted
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: with now you like it out down at bars and
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: all this hill. But now I now you interact a lot.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Dog dog you're talking to Steve now and you at work,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you already got your job in jeopardy. Now surely told
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you don't mess around this lady at your job too late.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: We've interacted a lot. I've told her about my situation.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: And why did you tell about your situation so you
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: could gain her sympathy and understand it. And so guess
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: what she said, and she is willing to help me out?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I bet she is. That you know, ain'teet And I'm
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: telling y'all right now, based on this letter, she hadn't
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: already helped him out because they didn't interacted a lot. Now,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: listen to me. She's single and said there would be
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: no expectations on her end. Are you stupid? At fifty three?
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: You fit to have a relationship with a woman that's single,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: that know your situation at home is raggedy, and you
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: think she's entering into this with no expectations. Must be
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: out your ignorant asked mind that statement is about damned,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: this ignorant as you having a lot of interactions, which
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: is justice egny that you just having an all exchange.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: And I want to stop, but I can't. I don't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: want to continue to behave it, but stop. And you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: just said you said you wasn't even into her like that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: She won't more, but you ain't even ment to her
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: like that. But you keep going down and you at
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: the bar talking to other women, and you on these
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: sites looking for one nice stand bro, come home. This
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: marriage is over. If you don't follow. Shirley said fight now,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: and she said she's single and said there'll be no
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: interpretation on here. And guess what he said after that,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: that's the ideal offer for me right now. See right there,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: he say that, right there. He gone, yeah, that's the
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: ideal offer in my situation right now. Yeah, it is dog.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: He's a planner. Yeah, And so go ahead and do it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: And like you already doing, I have needs and I
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: think it's only a matter of time. Boy boy sex
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: twice a year. You hadn't already stepped out and you
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: said it in your letter. You just typed it to Steve.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Should have just wrote this one to Shirley. All right,

- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Married to medicine. Just want to talk about it real quickly, um,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: real quick. If Reverend AWL. Sharpton called up Doctor Heavenly
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: asked her if her husband's I love Doctor Damon and
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: the doctors would come to DC during the big March
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: last year in Washington back in August to do COVID testing.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: The doctors agreed to take on such an important thing
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: and important mission. So they were about that, and they
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: agreed to help out. Reverend Al Sharpton. The fathers, the guys,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: they got together and they talked to their sons. They
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: had like a little guy's day out, little golfing thing,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and then they talked to their sons and thank the
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: younger generation for helping out with Black Lives Matter and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: not really helping out I shouldn't say that, but just
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: take on protesting and handling the voting laws and just
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: got next this generation doing their part and making sure
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: that our voices are always hurt. So, yeah, they talked
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: to their sons about that. That was cool. Yeah, I did.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I love that segment. You're absolutely right, Doctor Contesta. Shirley,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: she hosted a healing party with crystals and all kinds
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: of stuff, I guess to get the women to talk
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: about positivity. And Toya was over Doctor Heavenly because she
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: apologized and she was like, she don't want to hear
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: another apologies and heavily because heavily say I'm sorry. Then
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: she go raw egg right back five minutes later, heavily
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: is about that life. And then finally doctor Jackie and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Doctor Simone. Doctor Simone went to doctor Jackie's office. They
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: they've been friends for over twenty years. They talked, they cried.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I hope that they can work out their friendship. I
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: love those two being friends, so hopefully they can work
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: that out. Follow me at lips by, Carla and watch
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: gosh Earlie. That's it for reality update. All right, we
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. Bernie Madoff has
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: died now, yes, you know what? Yeah? Yeah. Last year,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: if you recall, Bernie Madoff asked his sentencing court to
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: grant him compassionate release so he could die at home
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: with his remaining friends and family. At the time, Bernie
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: had a life expectancy of less than eighteen months. Bernie's
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: sentencing judge denied that request, despite Bernie's terminal kidney disease,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and expressed remorse for his crimes. He adds today, Bernie
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Madoff passed away at the age of eighty two. Bernie,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: up until his death lived with his guilt and remorse
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: for his crimes. Of course he was. You know, I
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: guess behind one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in the world. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: well yeah, he passed away yesterday, yesterday at the age
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: of eighty two. He just people money. Yeah, he took
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: a lot, a lot of people's money, people's lives they
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: got sure. Yeah. I never met him, don't know him.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Ain't hand the money with him. Good thing I didn't,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: because I'd probably be feeling different. So, you know, okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: probably I just if I had some money with him,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: just be a different conversation. But I didn't have no
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: money with him, so well, you know, since I didn't
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: hand the money with him, you know, rest in peace. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: he agreed, man, Yeah right, good thing you ain't had
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: another Timmy money. That's for damn show. Oh that's whole money.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: He couldn't he can't. We'll be back with more of
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: this crazy show at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening morning. Dante Wright was killed
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: during a traffic stop when a twenty six year veteran officer,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Kim Kim Potter, accidentally shot him. She claimed she was
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: trying to use her taser on him. Saying it was
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: a mistake she pulled her gun. Yesterday, Nisha Wright, the
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: aunt of Dante Wright, spoke at the family's press conference
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: about the killing of her twenty year old nephew. Tick
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: a listen, please, sad night, sad night. They murdered my nephew.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: She killed my nephew. Every pistol, every taser, it has
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: a safety on it. She saw that. She had to
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: release that. I watched that video like everybody else watched
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: that video. That woman held that gun out in front
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: of half a long damn time, my long damn file.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Yes he did. My nephew was twenty years old. Twenty
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: years old. I don't care what nobody got to say
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: about him. He was loved, he was ours. He gave
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: from us, my brother and my sister's her. You feel
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: her pain, O, Lord Jesus and Dante Right had a
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: two year old son. See, man, see, I don't know
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: what has to happen. I'm gonna just be real honest
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: with you. I'm disappointed in this country. I have been,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: but now because of social media, when you see what
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: we've known all these years. I've known this man entire life,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: this type of behavior from police and what people have
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: had to do. You know, listen, what what? What? What?
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: The troubling part of me is sick, any part for
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: me now is when we show it to you, you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: don't do a damn thing. When we let you see
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: it what we've been seeing, it's still business as usual.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: This the same damn state. This just happened. Just got
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: a man on trial, not not miles from here, and
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: now we got another incident from another officer? Are you
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: kidding me? Ye? Are you kidding a year later? Not
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: even again? Saint even look man, what has to happen here?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Are you gonna wait until it happened to one of yours?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: That's all I can think of now that the only
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: only gonna happen, hope we got is that it happens
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: to one of yours. That's all I can see. That's
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: all I can see. And you know, Steve, people are saying, well,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: why didn't he comply? Why didn't he just comply? Why
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: didn't he just do what the officer said? You don't
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: understand this young man is scared. Do you know how
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: many cop shows i'ves scene? Well, white people don't comply
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: with the police officer, but they don't die for it, right,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: So just cut all the damn cop shows on. It
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: happens every day, all right, thank you. We will be
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: back with closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Harvey right after this at forty nine after you're listening
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: to show. All right, here we are, guys, our last
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: break of the day on this Thursday, and Stevens in
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Africa in the Motherland. And you know, he said he
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: promised he'd go and um, you know see our folks
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: over there, Carla, yours and Ghanamine in uh the Central
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: African Republic, you know, Cameroon. Well, I won't get that
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: this trip cars. It's you know what I mean, man,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: You can fly. You can fly on this continent eight
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: hours and you ain't gonna crossing way. You can put
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: a few continents in Africa. Yeah, yeah, Yo, it's that
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: massive man. And you know, you know, like I said,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I believe it's twenty two hundred different languages in Africa.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: But it's not what people think, you know, is their
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: poverty here, yes, but that's what they tell you about.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: But a lot of big businesses are trying to keep
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: it under wraps because this is really becoming more and
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: more an emerging frontier and emerging economy, and the Africans
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: there are very very well equipped. Like for example, I'm
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: doing family feud, and I gotta tell you, the set
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: designers and the grips and the people who build the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: sets over here equal to what's happening in the United States.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: It's just the opportunity is different, the dollar is different.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: And because there's so many languages in fifty fifty some
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: countries within the continent, you know, that breaks it up.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: You know, if Africa was just one place, you know,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: where TV stations could coexist with one another, it would
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: be different and it would be a massive powerhouse. And
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: I think there's a move to get that done. But
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: then even then you're dealing with language because you have
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: some African countries that are French speaking, you know, and
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: so you know, it's it's just a lot, but it
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: is so beautiful. Man. I just want everybody, everybody, but
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: especially African Americans. You got to come see this before
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you leave this world. If you can't, if you can't
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: put it on your bucket list of things to do,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: you have got to come here and see home. It
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: will change you forever. It would change you forever. But
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: in the meantime, we have to deal with what's happening
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: at home for us. And you know what, guys, I mean,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: we're just exhausted from it. Yes we are. I mean,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you know, look, I'm still a fighting age at sixty four.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: But man on, man on man, this has been my
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: entire life. I've been faced with these major disappointments. And
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the first huge, first disappointment I saw was my mother
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: crying when I came home from school and she was
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: ironing and they had killed President Kennedy. And I didn't
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: understand why my mother was crying because President Kennedy had
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: gotten killed. I heard her and my father talking about
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: he was trying to help black people, and I went then, okay,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: so cool. Then a few years later, the biggest event
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: of my life, Martin Luther King got killed. Our teacher
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: made us watch the funeral on TV. She bought a
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: black and white TV, plugged it up, and we watched
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: the funeral on TV. She made us watch it. That
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: was a life changing event for me. And after that,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: it's been one after the other after It's never been
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: a year, it's never been a six month span. Not
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: before social media came along. It was just stuff I
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: was seeing in my neighborhood, hearing about from family unions
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: at what was happening in DC and Detroit in West Virginia,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: or what racism was. And then I was just living
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: in sixties, seventies, I just seen it, eighties, nineties, I've
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: been just watching it. Two thousand. Then social media came along,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and then we figured it might change because now America
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: could take a look at themselves and what's happened. But
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: until the pandemic hit and everybody was sitting at home
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: watching this man's knee on this black man's neck for
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: eight minutes and forty six seconds, then yeah, then and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: we realized wow. And then the Black Lives Matter movement
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: caught some steam because it was a lot of non
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: blacks involved in it. And that's what it really takes
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: to solve this problem, because it's not gonna be just
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: black people. We've been sick of it from the first
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: boat ride. We were done with this. We've been sick
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: of this forever. And stop stop asking us and expecting
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: us to be patient. We're done. Well, what do you
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: want us to wait for? You want to wait for?
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Who else got to get killed? How many more of
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: us got to die on top of the hundreds of
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: thousands that have gone on, and we out of patients
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: with this mess. We're done it. I can't imagine how
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: many thousands of incidents we haven't seen nor know about. Brother,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: way more than social media is showing. This used to
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: happen repeatedly all the time. They had Gilanti groups that
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: was doing stuff. Man clan was just going rocking and
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: burning people's houses out, lynching tarn and feathering cast straight
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: and Black Men Clan been doing a thing. Man. But
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: now when you catch the clan member in a blue
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: uniform and you catch him on tape and he still
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: get away with it, Like y'all just told me the
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: dude that killed that shot, uh the man what you
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: go down there and shoot a white person in the
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: back and see what day you make it back to work.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: So y'all, we're done. We're done. So let somebody else walk.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: We're done, and I'm not gonna be able to stop it.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Don't call me and ask me, do not ask me
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: to raise my voice. I'm not because they're tired. We tired,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: and enough is enough and something has to be done
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: and maybe this should all pass some love with the
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: governor Georgia and in Texas, let's start with them too
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: and still vote. That's good for all. Steve Harvey Contests
