The DOC Mental Wellness
In this episode, I explore the mental wellness of not only incarcerated individuals but also the mental wellness of the Department of Correction officials. What happens in prison can extend and affect the loved ones, friends, and relationships of incarcerated people. The state needs to minimize the effects these activities have on the incarcerated and prison officials. A healthy environment can lead to a reduction in staff shortages and recidivism.
