- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milling Buck bus things in its tubbles good
- 0:20Speaker 1: it Steve har listening to the movie Together for Studley.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join by, join me in doing me. Honey.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn the Turnhow you got
- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn them out to turn the water? The water go?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back? Uh huh I shore will
- 2:04Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Hey man, back in business too? Man Man?
- 2:16Speaker 1: How good is God? I mean, really, if you think
- 2:18Speaker 1: about it in spite of all that's going down in
- 2:21Speaker 1: your life, first of all, it could be worse. But secondly,
- 2:25Speaker 1: sometimes you have to remember. And I've just had to
- 2:28Speaker 1: have this conversation with myself this morning. That's how I'm
- 2:32Speaker 1: fresh on this one right here. When a challenge faces you,
- 2:36Speaker 1: are you going through a difficult moment, or you didn't
- 2:39Speaker 1: hit a bump in the road in the middle of that,
- 2:43Speaker 1: If you could manage to be grateful, it would take
- 2:45Speaker 1: you a long way. Gratitude is a powerful resource if
- 2:51Speaker 1: you can be grateful in the middle of it. Gratitude
- 2:55Speaker 1: is a powerful resource when it's dim for you. And
- 3:00Speaker 1: it got a little bumpy on the road, and he
- 3:02Speaker 1: ran into some obstacles, and you didn't ran up into
- 3:05Speaker 1: some detooled signs, and your journey ain't smooth as it
- 3:09Speaker 1: was last week or last year. You gotta be grateful
- 3:15Speaker 1: for the things that are going right and that have
- 3:19Speaker 1: gone right, and for the thing that's wrong right now
- 3:22Speaker 1: to get right. Man, cannot share that with you. Man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: is that a tough one to learn? It is for me.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It has been one of my toughest challenges is to
- 3:32Speaker 1: learn how to be grateful because it's a powerful resource,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but how to be grateful in moments of despair when
- 3:40Speaker 1: it ain't going right. So here's a mistake I would make. See,
- 3:43Speaker 1: when something go wrong, I want to focus on the
- 3:46Speaker 1: wrong so much in an attempt to fix it. But
- 3:50Speaker 1: even then the focus ain't always in to fix it.
- 3:54Speaker 1: The focus becomes, Man, this is bad, man, I can't
- 3:58Speaker 1: believe this is happening. Why just keep going down? That
- 4:02Speaker 1: doesn't fix anything? You know, mealing over it, going over
- 4:07Speaker 1: what's wrong, explaining it, sharing it with your friends, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: making it sound worse than it is, tell the story
- 4:18Speaker 1: for pity from other people. All of that, right there,
- 4:20Speaker 1: has nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're just
- 4:23Speaker 1: mulling over it. You're just making it worse. You're just
- 4:26Speaker 1: making it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into your atmosphere,
- 4:31Speaker 1: You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now all
- 4:33Speaker 1: of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing, you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're having a bad day. If you're having a bad day,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's because you've been having some bad thoughts. So what
- 4:42Speaker 1: I've had to learn how to do, and what I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: working on this morning is I'm working on this situation
- 4:48Speaker 1: that's been cropped up. I was going kind of smooth
- 4:51Speaker 1: here for a minute, and now I didn't got real
- 4:53Speaker 1: bumpy in the road, you know, and all this here.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though
- 4:58Speaker 1: I've hit a bump in the road, and even though
- 5:01Speaker 1: i'd and ran into a detour, and even though I've
- 5:05Speaker 1: hit this love, I'm going down into a valley, I
- 5:09Speaker 1: ain't up on the peak. Can I not still be
- 5:12Speaker 1: grateful for all the things that God has given me?
- 5:16Speaker 1: For all the things he's done for me, for all
- 5:19Speaker 1: the things he's brought me through, and realizing that even
- 5:23Speaker 1: this that's happening to me again is going to pass too.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He gonna get me through that attitude. Come on, man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: God is a good god. Man. It's a lot to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be grateful for. So while I'm tripping on this bumping
- 5:35Speaker 1: the road out and here, what I gotta remember is
- 5:37Speaker 1: all the things He's done for me. And like I say,
- 5:40Speaker 1: my saying is joy and depression cannot reside in the
- 5:43Speaker 1: same place. So instead of being down about this new
- 5:46Speaker 1: bumping the road, if I'm constantly filling my mind with
- 5:49Speaker 1: the thoughts of how good He's been to me, of
- 5:52Speaker 1: what all he's done for me, of all the things
- 5:55Speaker 1: he's brought me through, of all the blessings he's presented
- 5:58Speaker 1: me with. When I go down that list, I really
- 6:01Speaker 1: don't have a lot of time to mull over the situation. Now.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Do I have to fix this bump in the road?
- 6:10Speaker 1: Of course I do. Are There's some things I'm going
- 6:12Speaker 1: to have to do to straighten it out, of course
- 6:15Speaker 1: it is. But Steve just going to get the business
- 6:17Speaker 1: of doing it and straighten it out. What you mulling
- 6:20Speaker 1: over and wearing about it for you know, old people.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I heard old people say something when I was growing
- 6:25Speaker 1: up in the church. They say, if you're gonna pray
- 6:27Speaker 1: about it, don't worry about it. But if you're gonna
- 6:29Speaker 1: worry about it, don't pray about it. That's an amazing thing.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And prayer just happens to be my weapon of choice. Man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: it ain't always been that way. I want you to
- 6:39Speaker 1: understand that my first weapon of choice was you do
- 6:42Speaker 1: it to me, I do it to you. You call
- 6:44Speaker 1: me out, I call you out, you say something bad
- 6:47Speaker 1: about me. I've tried to find you and say something
- 6:49Speaker 1: bad about you. That was my weapon in the past.
- 6:52Speaker 1: How did that work out for you, Steve? Not so good?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Because you know what, I spent a lot of time
- 7:00Speaker 1: fighting back, kicking back, swinging back, when I could have
- 7:04Speaker 1: spent all that time climbing. See, all you're trying to
- 7:07Speaker 1: do at the end of the day, folks, is have
- 7:09Speaker 1: a better life than the one you got. All you're
- 7:12Speaker 1: trying to do is to improve your position in life.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You know, it's not my business to make sure you
- 7:17Speaker 1: don't get where you're going. Ain't got no time for that.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's not my job to assure that you ain't as
- 7:24Speaker 1: high as me. I ain't got no time for that.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Your real mission and purpose is to have the best
- 7:30Speaker 1: life that you can have, to ascend to the highest
- 7:34Speaker 1: plateau that you can get to, to make your family
- 7:37Speaker 1: as comfortable as you can, to provide as much as
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can for your family. But legally, see, those of
- 7:43Speaker 1: us are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:49Speaker 1: today how they wish they hadn't have done that, and
- 7:52Speaker 1: they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had
- 7:55Speaker 1: did it. I knew not to go down there. Something
- 7:58Speaker 1: told me not to go down there. Man. If I
- 8:00Speaker 1: could change things, I would. But they're sitting somewhere doing
- 8:04Speaker 1: some time that had they made another decision they wouldn't
- 8:08Speaker 1: have to do. Now that don't make them throw away people, na, man,
- 8:12Speaker 1: because everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And some of us have done some things that really
- 8:19Speaker 1: broke the law, and a whole lot of other things
- 8:21Speaker 1: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:23Speaker 1: of God, we didn't. But now we set up here,
- 8:25Speaker 1: we passed judgment on people who got to do something. Now,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care what you've done. God
- 8:31Speaker 1: can't forgive anything, but our position, our motivation in life
- 8:35Speaker 1: is to try to have the best life we can
- 8:38Speaker 1: have and provide for those around us and make it comfortable.
- 8:41Speaker 1: If that's your ambition, you don't have time to worry
- 8:45Speaker 1: about or concern yourself with another person. And I wasted
- 8:49Speaker 1: time doing that, and that's not the way to get
- 8:53Speaker 1: it done. It's simply mind to your business, taking care
- 8:57Speaker 1: of you and getting yourself right and tight. It's twenty
- 8:59Speaker 1: four so that's a full time job. So what I
- 9:02Speaker 1: had to learn was and what I've the reason I've
- 9:05Speaker 1: chosen prayer as as my weapon of choice now is
- 9:09Speaker 1: that now prayer helps me that I don't have to
- 9:13Speaker 1: fight back. Now, if I get corned, I'm gonna fight you.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I ain't even gonna lie to you. And now I'm
- 9:20Speaker 1: still working on some things that trigger me. You know,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you know, you know, and and and and so I'm
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm slowly getting better at that. But I've learned that
- 9:32Speaker 1: my weapon of choice is prayer now, So when it
- 9:36Speaker 1: happens ugly for me, I pray about it. When it
- 9:39Speaker 1: gets tight, and dismal for me. I pray about it.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And the thing about prayer, man, is prayer changes things. Yes,
- 9:48Speaker 1: it does. Now read about it and try it. That's
- 9:53Speaker 1: the deal. Okay, Come on, prayer as a wonderful weapon.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening tow Ladies and gentlemen. Let me have it
- 10:04Speaker 1: your undivided decision. Today is Monday morning, Pippan is okay today?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Because the Browns had a bye week so we didn't
- 10:11Speaker 1: have to wear about. That wasn't oppression. I just watched
- 10:16Speaker 1: football all day yesterday, and what a day it was,
- 10:19Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harving Morning Show Alive and well,

- 11:48Speaker 1: did a special project last week at Tyler Perry Studios
- 11:54Speaker 1: that I will be telling everybody about shortly. But it
- 11:56Speaker 1: was a huge success. And man, I just want to
- 11:59Speaker 1: think all of the women that participated, all of the staff,
- 12:03Speaker 1: to crew, everybody, and I'll tell you all about it shortly.

- 12:15Speaker 1: it since he just like really did it? Did it
- 12:18Speaker 1: out completely that it's this man right here has a
- 12:27Speaker 1: studio that is better, better than any studio I've seen
- 12:33Speaker 1: in Hollywood. I've shot on all the paramount lots I've
- 12:37Speaker 1: shot on CBS Rafford, I've shot on NBC Universal, I've
- 12:40Speaker 1: shot at CBS over there, Beverly A Wove, I've shot
- 12:49Speaker 1: a Culver City, I've shot at Fox, I've shot at
- 12:52Speaker 1: every student, I've shot out in Glendale, I've shot at
- 12:55Speaker 1: everything KTLA Studios. Nobody has what Tyler Perry has. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: it's really it's like that no dog, No one has
- 13:06Speaker 1: what Tyler Perry has and is sitting on over three.
- 13:10Speaker 1: This boy dog. This boy is an incredible dreamer. This
- 13:16Speaker 1: boy something special man. He really really is. And when
- 13:18Speaker 1: he starts doing the tours, I recommend everybody go to
- 13:22Speaker 1: Tyler Perry Studios because you can't imagine this. I'm glad
- 13:25Speaker 1: a brother that's amazing. One black dude, he owned this
- 13:29Speaker 1: peer and clean. This is incredible. Alright, two after the hour, Yes,
- 13:34Speaker 1: we will talk more about Steve's project with Tyler Perry
- 13:38Speaker 1: at the studios. Wee can reveal. We'll find out what
- 13:40Speaker 1: the crew did over the weekend. Right after this you're
- 13:43Speaker 1: listening to all right time now for weekend review. Okay,
- 13:49Speaker 1: let's start with you, Steve, because you started by telling
- 13:51Speaker 1: us about your big project that you did with Tyler
- 13:53Speaker 1: Perry the studios, and I won't discuss my project anymore
- 13:57Speaker 1: until until he gets closer to release ing. But let
- 14:00Speaker 1: me tell you something, man, Tyler Perry Studios. When that
- 14:04Speaker 1: man starts doing when he starts doing tours, you were saying,
- 14:10Speaker 1: you have to go and see what he's done. This man,
- 14:16Speaker 1: one person owns this. This dude. I mean we rode
- 14:21Speaker 1: he took me on the tour. I didn't do it
- 14:22Speaker 1: complete too it. We just dropped in the truck and
- 14:24Speaker 1: HEAs man. I won't show you a couple of things.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And I'm just riding with him, man, just listening to
- 14:30Speaker 1: how he did it. In the story, in the history
- 14:31Speaker 1: behind it. I mean, it's an old air Force base.
- 14:36Speaker 1: President used to stay that. Colin Powell has stayed there,
- 14:39Speaker 1: the Bushes has stayed there. You know, some of the
- 14:41Speaker 1: he bought, he kept, some of the facilities. He redid everything.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He redid the buildings on that knocks some buildings down,
- 14:49Speaker 1: kept them, refurbish them. But the studios he built. All
- 14:52Speaker 1: the studios are named after famous black actors and actresses. Yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 1: we saw that o crazy man, It's just crazy. And
- 15:03Speaker 1: this man right here is and you know what, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: we've got to support this. So I took my project there.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna take another project. I'm working on that and
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just gonna do it. Man. This dude
- 15:17Speaker 1: is to support it. Yeah. Oh man, I'm gonna make
- 15:21Speaker 1: sure that I throw whatever I can do over there,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know. And so man, this this is just an
- 15:26Speaker 1: incredible facility. Everybody should go see it. Junior outstanding? What
- 15:31Speaker 1: you do? You know? It was homecoming? Man, let me
- 15:38Speaker 1: tell you someone all I can say this up. As

- 15:44Speaker 1: is where all the cues hang out. Que Nation, as

- 16:03Speaker 1: with them, kill you may Nation, CHI called Cute Nation.
- 16:13Speaker 1: They got the biggest lot out of it. Fred on
- 16:16Speaker 1: the yard Qute Nation, with where it concerts everything four
- 16:21Speaker 1: in the morning every night on home coming, I couldn't
- 16:24Speaker 1: the morning you were up, dog Tommy, I had the dog.
- 16:30Speaker 1: They wouldn't tired. I said, hey man, I'm going back
- 16:32Speaker 1: to my campell. I'm gone. I can't do no more.
- 16:35Speaker 1: They do two it was up at four in the morning,
- 16:38Speaker 1: dog six seven, and I'm talking about these ain't no
- 16:42Speaker 1: young these ain't no young dudes. These old dudes up,
- 16:45Speaker 1: the old heads up till six in the moaning, man,
- 16:49Speaker 1: just because I and then I ran into calling. Oh

- 16:56Speaker 1: you hit the yard. Yes, I said, my home coming
- 17:00Speaker 1: out And now I'm exhausted in the hype. Man. I
- 17:04Speaker 1: don't know how y'all do it? Man? Why man? It was?
- 17:08Speaker 1: It was something about twenty thousand people. It was HBCU
- 17:12Speaker 1: home coming. It's probably one of the greatest thing. Yeah,
- 17:20Speaker 1: manly reunion. It's a block party, it's a festival. It's
- 17:24Speaker 1: a celebrating who we are, our heritage, our culture, it's
- 17:29Speaker 1: all of that at any pretty much any HBCU. Timmy,
- 17:33Speaker 1: you went to that military academy, didn't I went academy?

- 19:46Speaker 1: state of the art. Man, When I say state, it
- 19:50Speaker 1: is state of the art. But it's state of the
- 19:54Speaker 1: art though. But wasn't but thirty people at the game?

- 21:16Speaker 1: Oh it was, it was oh d they edited it

- 35:57Speaker 1: Morning show in a trending viral video news story. This
- 36:01Speaker 1: was a stunning surveillance footage that captured the moment when
- 36:06Speaker 1: an ex San Francisco forty nine ers assistant coach who
- 36:10Speaker 1: is now an Oregon high school teacher coach. His name
- 36:13Speaker 1: is Keenan Lowe, he disarmed a student with a shotgun
- 36:17Speaker 1: and then hugged him. Now, this incident happened back in May,
- 36:21Speaker 1: but the video is now going viral because according to
- 36:25Speaker 1: NBC News, Angel Diaz, he is a student. He pled
- 36:29Speaker 1: it guilty to two charges, and a judge sentenced him
- 36:33Speaker 1: to thirty six months of probation, as well as mental
- 36:38Speaker 1: health and substance abuse treatment and counseling. Now, the gunman
- 36:43Speaker 1: Angel Diaz. Back in May, he walked into one of
- 36:46Speaker 1: the buildings at the school with a shotgun hidden under
- 36:50Speaker 1: the jacket that he was carrying in his arms. I
- 36:53Speaker 1: just wanted to let him know that I was there
- 36:56Speaker 1: for him, that is what mister Lowe. Coach Lowe told
- 36:59Speaker 1: the report. Orders I told him I was there to
- 37:02Speaker 1: save him. I was there for a reason and that
- 37:06Speaker 1: his life was worth living. Coach low Mister Lowe is
- 37:10Speaker 1: a hero and he prevented a tragedy. Well, the video
- 37:14Speaker 1: was confusing because I thought, I thought, because when you
- 37:18Speaker 1: first see the gun, it's in the guy's head with
- 37:22Speaker 1: the tight shirt on, and I thought that was the student.
- 37:24Speaker 1: And I thought that the guy with the coat and
- 37:27Speaker 1: the short hair was a was a woman hugging. I
- 37:30Speaker 1: was very confusing. He was confused. But you got it
- 37:34Speaker 1: now that you saw that was clearly Yeah, Angel Diz.
- 37:38Speaker 1: He has been charged with possession of a firearm and
- 37:41Speaker 1: a public building and attempting to discharge a firearm at
- 37:45Speaker 1: a school. So he was charged and reckless and endangerment
- 37:48Speaker 1: and that nothing. Man. Yeah, yeah, he's he's still in custody,
- 37:58Speaker 1: the young man. So but out out to Coach Lowe
- 38:01Speaker 1: as a hero man. He truly is a hero. Wow.
- 38:06Speaker 1: All right, So coming up at thirty four after the hour, Steve,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you're gonna get a kick out of this story. Whoopie
- 38:11Speaker 1: Goldberg is beefing with Peter. Let's run, now, what are
- 38:15Speaker 1: you talking about? Let it's not what you think. We'll
- 38:22Speaker 1: talk about it loop. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 38:31Speaker 1: You're listening to Whoopie Goldberg. She clapped back at Peter
- 38:37Speaker 1: after it called out whoopee for loving bacon. It all started.
- 38:43Speaker 1: It all started when Whoopee Goldberg. Yeah, she made comments
- 38:47Speaker 1: on the view as her co host Sonny Hostin, tried
- 38:51Speaker 1: to convince her to eat a piece of a vegan dish.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Whoopee didn't want to sample the vegan dish, and so
- 38:58Speaker 1: take a listen to Whoopee's response. I like bacon. I
- 39:02Speaker 1: know I'm not supposed to. I know it's them, you know,
- 39:04Speaker 1: the scum of the earth. I like the bacon. I
- 39:07Speaker 1: want the baby. You don't have to eat and eat
- 39:18Speaker 1: a little damn bagon. I mean, can't I have bacon?
- 39:20Speaker 1: He came. Anyway, Jay, you're nailing it. You're nailing it
- 39:27Speaker 1: that episode. Peter tweeted, really, Whoopee eating bacon is your
- 39:33Speaker 1: Friday cause your choice is? It really hurts, so be kind.
- 39:39Speaker 1: So then Whoopee clapped back at Peter and said, Hey, Peter,
- 39:44Speaker 1: I never said I was a vegan, and I never
- 39:47Speaker 1: would suggest that anyone pressure any of you to change
- 39:51Speaker 1: your vegan habits. Go eat a couch if he walked,
- 39:55Speaker 1: that's Whoopie tweeted it. Know what doesn't necessarily mean that
- 40:01Speaker 1: you're vegan either. They I thought Peter was still for
- 40:04Speaker 1: the ethical treatment of animals. Look look, look, look, look
- 40:08Speaker 1: they all wear shoes. All of them have on shoes, sneakers, leather,
- 40:17Speaker 1: they all wear shoes. They all drive cars, you know,
- 40:22Speaker 1: they all hey, you know they do something. Man. So
- 40:25Speaker 1: I just think, you know, I think what we're gonna
- 40:28Speaker 1: have to do is allow people to live their life
- 40:31Speaker 1: how they gonna live it. Yeah, person wants to be
- 40:33Speaker 1: a vegan. Like I've been going like really plant base
- 40:36Speaker 1: for the past couple of weeks. Now I've had all
- 40:39Speaker 1: plant bass. I haven't had any fish or beef, meat anything,
- 40:43Speaker 1: And you know, I feel better. So I've tried it before,
- 40:47Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know if I'm gonna stay with it.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna add fish after a while. But you know,
- 40:52Speaker 1: I just you feel healthier. You just do. You meet people.
- 40:57Speaker 1: The people who eat meat don't bother the people who
- 41:00Speaker 1: don't eat me, They really don't. They really don't. They don't, right, right,
- 41:07Speaker 1: can we whoop? Peter ass we allowed the whoope? Well,
- 41:12Speaker 1: if they if they throw throw some red paint on
- 41:14Speaker 1: the wrong person, they're gonna get that say, yeah, yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 1: that's exactly what it helped the wrong one. Yeah, but
- 41:23Speaker 1: you know they don't buy nobody. They don't. If a
- 41:27Speaker 1: person wants to be a vegan, they should be a vegan.
- 41:29Speaker 1: You can't force your thoughts and opinions on anybody else.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Meat eaters don't bother nobody. They eating meat. They got
- 41:38Speaker 1: the new quapper out now, that's meat that they do
- 41:43Speaker 1: commercials on that. Yeah, they got the new man They
- 41:45Speaker 1: swapper now and either say they can't tell the difference. No,
- 41:51Speaker 1: they love that burger. They say that burgers. I've had
- 41:55Speaker 1: the impossible and the beyond burger and and they absolutely delicious.
- 42:02Speaker 1: They're absolutely delicious. And a lot of people would be
- 42:06Speaker 1: better served to be honest with you to go plant
- 42:11Speaker 1: based at least half and half, or try one plant
- 42:17Speaker 1: based meal a day. Start there, then maybe try to you.
- 42:21Speaker 1: You would be a little bit surprised at how you
- 42:23Speaker 1: would feel, because it does make a difference. Man, hands down,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it makes a difference. So there you go. Peter can't
- 42:30Speaker 1: come that night. Talents, let me eat. I don't care
- 42:36Speaker 1: if a person want to eat meat as much meat
- 42:38Speaker 1: as out of Nate. It be hypocritical for me to
- 42:41Speaker 1: tell you we're still eating meat. Huh. If we're we're
- 42:45Speaker 1: still eating meat, what we talk about we meet. I
- 42:49Speaker 1: saw what I'm saying. I can't even I can't even
- 42:51Speaker 1: begin there, especially barbecue. Steve, you know how you all
- 42:54Speaker 1: about barbecue. No, you don't know how I feel about babu.
- 43:02Speaker 1: If you can't see, you better be right back. Yes,
- 43:07Speaker 1: I stay right there. Yeah, all right, So let us
- 43:11Speaker 1: know if you're on team Vegan or if you're a
- 43:13Speaker 1: team meat Lover Me FM. On Instagram and Facebook, you

- 43:43Speaker 1: will read the letter and I will do my response
- 43:45Speaker 1: in for my girl Shirley Strawberry. But right now it's
- 43:47Speaker 1: time for the prank phone call. You you gave the
- 43:54Speaker 1: wrong direction till my sister's grave. You gave the wrong
- 44:03Speaker 1: direction to my sister's grave. Idiots ready, come, okay, thank
- 44:13Speaker 1: you for car. My name is Frederick Stammond. It down
- 44:18Speaker 1: that timera MI. Let me say she's any office. One
- 44:21Speaker 1: moment THI just don't it don't make sense for the
- 44:25Speaker 1: all ago out there like we did. It didn't running
- 44:27Speaker 1: in the type of problem that Hello, Hello, listen, my
- 44:32Speaker 1: name is Frederick Stimmonds. Okay. Now my sister's system is
- 44:37Speaker 1: buried out there. Okay, And we come out there last
- 44:40Speaker 1: week on Monday to come out there and pray over
- 44:43Speaker 1: the spacewash. Year. Now, you as the one that told
- 44:47Speaker 1: us that it was a few spaces away from the
- 44:50Speaker 1: mother limb. Now we got out there and prayed over
- 44:54Speaker 1: my sister friends a barrel and find out that we
- 44:57Speaker 1: were in the wrong space. The na. You was the
- 45:00Speaker 1: one that told it to us. So I don't even
- 45:02Speaker 1: know what you're talking about. You was the one that
- 45:05Speaker 1: told us that my sons the friend I don't give
- 45:07Speaker 1: all spaces. I'm in an administrative office. I don't know
- 45:10Speaker 1: why you're white out. All I know is you was
- 45:12Speaker 1: the one that told us this. No, yes, you did.
- 45:16Speaker 1: You was the one that my grandbaby said that you
- 45:19Speaker 1: talked to the woman named Taboro, and you had us
- 45:21Speaker 1: out there standing over some white man's body and it
- 45:24Speaker 1: wa wrong out of concert. So I can't tell you
- 45:27Speaker 1: we're a space to you. So your granddaughter last to you.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Ain't nobody lied to me that you had us out
- 45:32Speaker 1: there in the wrong space. I couldn't have had you
- 45:34Speaker 1: in the wrong spaces. I don't even know the semisteries.
- 45:37Speaker 1: You know what. I must send my grandbaby up there
- 45:40Speaker 1: to talk to you. Okay, I'll be here to five.
- 45:43Speaker 1: You're very mischievous. You know that I'll be here to
- 45:45Speaker 1: five o'clock. You have a good day. No, you don't.
- 45:48Speaker 1: You hang up this phone on me. You have a
- 45:50Speaker 1: good day. No, I'm not gonna have a good day.
- 45:53Speaker 1: You had me praying over the president's body, and that
- 45:56Speaker 1: was the wrong one, and we're in that praying over
- 45:59Speaker 1: this white man's body. It was right. Hello, I'm listening
- 46:05Speaker 1: to you. You don't have an apology or nothing, because
- 46:08Speaker 1: I know I didn't tell your granddaughter where a space was.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Then what did you tell them? I don't even know
- 46:14Speaker 1: what your granddaughter is. What you mean the Stamon's family,
- 46:18Speaker 1: we were not that. I don't know who the Simmons
- 46:20Speaker 1: family is, not Simon, that Stamons Stamons. I don't know
- 46:24Speaker 1: a Simon's family. That's what I'm telling you. I'm not
- 46:27Speaker 1: a counselor I don't even deal with family. Here's what
- 46:30Speaker 1: I need you to do. Can you go out there
- 46:32Speaker 1: and pray over my sif the body. I don't know
- 46:35Speaker 1: where your sister is buried. It's supposed to have been
- 46:37Speaker 1: sex faiths away from the mother limb. I don't are
- 46:41Speaker 1: there any faces? Where is it? Where is it a
- 46:46Speaker 1: section two? We was in section two? But it was
- 46:48Speaker 1: some white man we was that. That wasn't my sulf
- 46:52Speaker 1: the friends Okay, I don't even know who your sister
- 46:55Speaker 1: friends is. I do not even know where section two is.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Whoever came into the cemetery instead that they spoke to me.
- 47:04Speaker 1: They probably did speak to me, and I probably got
- 47:06Speaker 1: the information from a concert, but I never told them
- 47:09Speaker 1: exactly where the spot was. So if they were out
- 47:12Speaker 1: there praying over your sister and they were in the
- 47:14Speaker 1: wrong spot, that's not my problem. That praying over some
- 47:18Speaker 1: white man, that's not my problem, sir. If you gave
- 47:21Speaker 1: the wrong spot, if you gave the wrong information, it
- 47:24Speaker 1: is I don't give the wrong information. I tell them, yes,
- 47:29Speaker 1: she's in section two. I did not physically go out
- 47:32Speaker 1: there and point to the spot to tell them to
- 47:33Speaker 1: pray over that spot. Let me explain what I'm trying
- 47:36Speaker 1: to stop from happening. If my people come out there,
- 47:39Speaker 1: it's gonna be some more bodies getting buried. And I
- 47:42Speaker 1: don't almost nobody to get hurt. I mean, your family
- 47:45Speaker 1: can come up here. It's not gonna be no more
- 47:46Speaker 1: bodies than buried that. What they can do is come
- 47:49Speaker 1: up here writing. We can conversate about this, but it's
- 47:51Speaker 1: not going to be an up world here. I want
- 47:54Speaker 1: you to go out there and you pray over friends
- 47:56Speaker 1: of the body. I'm not going out to pray over
- 47:59Speaker 1: nobody's boy, it's not Remember I didn't tell them the
- 48:04Speaker 1: wrong information. Do you love the Lord? Do you love
- 48:07Speaker 1: the Lord? I dearly do. Then you ought to have
- 48:10Speaker 1: some sepathy. I want you to bow your head right now. No,
- 48:14Speaker 1: I'm going to end this conversation because that all the
- 48:18Speaker 1: work to do. Now they come in lust to me,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I will be hearing to five o'clock. Can I say
- 48:23Speaker 1: one more thing for you? I'm ending the car. Okay,
- 48:28Speaker 1: this nephew, Timmy from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You
- 48:30Speaker 1: just got prank Cravid. You are crazy. Your sister to
- 48:43Speaker 1: me because sets you up and you just got it.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Baby from nephew, tim Me, you were standing your ground.
- 48:53Speaker 1: You like this guy. She wasn't prayed over the wrong
- 48:56Speaker 1: bout it. That don't mean no, I ain't never how
- 49:02Speaker 1: y'all feeling about that right now? Love it? My man
- 49:07Speaker 1: played too much? Come on now, get get get get
- 49:13Speaker 1: a prank of song, Get a pranker song. Hey, I
- 49:18Speaker 1: want to thank everybody in Chicago, Illinois came out to
- 49:21Speaker 1: the Airy Crown, showed us mad love U two shows
- 49:25Speaker 1: soul Out. We enjoyed it at the Airy Crown. Oh
- 49:28Speaker 1: my god, that's from Lavelle Crawford. That's from Corey Hokem.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Huh who closed the show? It switched The first night
- 49:37Speaker 1: it was it was LaBelle. The second night it was
- 49:41Speaker 1: um Corey Hokan. You know, Corey Hokem is from the
- 49:43Speaker 1: Robert Taylor Projects. Born and raised, born and raised in Shottown.
- 49:49Speaker 1: So they switched it up a little bit. But let
- 49:51Speaker 1: me tell you something. We had those YouTube sensations on
- 49:54Speaker 1: the show and they did an awesome job. Country Wayne
- 49:58Speaker 1: and DC. Y'all fly them boys right there. Man, let
- 50:02Speaker 1: me tell you something. They brought it. They they brought it.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I sat there and watched them. I wanted to watch
- 50:07Speaker 1: their set. I wanted to see what they did on
- 50:09Speaker 1: the stage because you know there's this whole thing, uh
- 50:13Speaker 1: with comedians of of you know, the new comer, you know,
- 50:17Speaker 1: the new company. Yeah, they didn't play that. Let me
- 50:23Speaker 1: say this. They came out and did the dog on things.
- 50:28Speaker 1: So I got to tell you they did it. They
- 50:31Speaker 1: did their job. Country Wayne DC young Fly from eighty
- 50:36Speaker 1: five South came out and did the dog one thing.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I'm giving it to him and I and I wouldn't
- 50:41Speaker 1: just saying that just to be saying it. I watched them.
- 50:44Speaker 1: They delivered, straight up delivered. That's good. That's good. I
- 50:52Speaker 1: ain't I ain't got no reason to lie to you.
- 50:55Speaker 1: They came out I know, I know, Joe, I know
- 51:00Speaker 1: like what they ain't they they do then, like Judia said,
- 51:02Speaker 1: who the hell im supposed to pay my dudes to you?
- 51:05Speaker 1: But you know what, Jake, you know what, Jake, I
- 51:07Speaker 1: look at it like this. I look at it from
- 51:10Speaker 1: the perspective of I played Kappa Appaside in fall eighty six,
- 51:15Speaker 1: in fall eighties six. Yeah, there are there are so
- 51:19Speaker 1: many people. There are so many people that plays in
- 51:24Speaker 1: two thousand and two thousand plus that now you. They
- 51:28Speaker 1: didn't play it as hard as I played. They didn't
- 51:30Speaker 1: do that, hey man, eighties eighty six. I made it
- 51:34Speaker 1: six fall eighty six. Baby, I'm a old school What
- 51:40Speaker 1: you believe when you when you play. All I'm saying
- 51:43Speaker 1: is is that it relates to talk for me. Hey u,
- 51:49Speaker 1: he said he plays, he plays in winter a seventy.
- 51:54Speaker 1: You find it, find it, find it when you're located
- 51:59Speaker 1: left being six. Yeah. Yeah, it was quot spring spring
- 52:11Speaker 1: with a fall. Yeah, were quoters. Okay, okay, let me

- 52:41Speaker 1: can take it. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Time down for today's Strawberry Letter and if you need
- 52:49Speaker 1: advice on a relationship, dating, work, sex, parenting, and more,
- 52:55Speaker 1: Submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com
- 52:59Speaker 1: and click submit Strawberry letter. My girl, Shirley Strawberry is
- 53:04Speaker 1: out today at nobody saying that where shirt whereby? Interested?
- 53:12Speaker 1: But college is running over there? She's take all right?
- 53:20Speaker 1: H buk. He can't be saying no, no, you're not
- 53:24Speaker 1: as he that ass off. He did not ask where's waldo?
- 53:31Speaker 1: Little mister ready for love but ain't ready for work?
- 53:34Speaker 1: Go ahead, but ain't ready for work. But that's a
- 53:43Speaker 1: pop teen right there? You pop jay? Don't you ever
- 53:49Speaker 1: pop teen against me? I don't think his heart can
- 53:56Speaker 1: take him. Dear Stephen, Shirley. I met a man at
- 54:00Speaker 1: church recently when he was visiting from out of town.
- 54:04Speaker 1: He lives three hours away from me, so in the
- 54:06Speaker 1: beginning we enjoyed video chatting and talking on the phone
- 54:10Speaker 1: for hours. After only two months, we really like each
- 54:15Speaker 1: other and want to spend all of our time together.
- 54:18Speaker 1: He is ready to take our relationship to the next level,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and he's planning to move to the city I live in.
- 54:26Speaker 1: We are an older couple, so we don't want to
- 54:29Speaker 1: waste time by talking on the phone all the time.
- 54:32Speaker 1: He's a kind hearted man. He has a great personality.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He loves to make me laugh. He says he loves
- 54:39Speaker 1: everything about me too. I'm excited about him moving to
- 54:43Speaker 1: be with me, but I need your advice on how
- 54:46Speaker 1: to handle him. Here's my issue. He has several health conditions,
- 54:52Speaker 1: and he's been opening honest about all of his illnesses
- 54:55Speaker 1: and all of the medications he takes. He said, should
- 55:00Speaker 1: know exactly what's going on with him, and he wants
- 55:02Speaker 1: me to attend all of his doctor's appointments with him
- 55:05Speaker 1: in the future. Now, if he's my man, that's not
- 55:08Speaker 1: a problem because I believe in being by his side
- 55:11Speaker 1: through thick and thin. But the thing that has me
- 55:14Speaker 1: terrified is that he's been to the emergency room three
- 55:17Speaker 1: times since I've known him. In the last time was
- 55:21Speaker 1: the other night when he was at my house. We
- 55:24Speaker 1: were about to have sexy time, and the next thing
- 55:27Speaker 1: I knew that was an ambulance outside my house because
- 55:30Speaker 1: he was complaining the chest pains. I don't think his
- 55:34Speaker 1: heart is ready for this relationship. I'm starting to have
- 55:37Speaker 1: second thoughts about him because I don't think he can
- 55:40Speaker 1: handle me. I sure as heck don't want to kill
- 55:44Speaker 1: this man. What should I do? Please him. Wow, all right, now,
- 55:54Speaker 1: all right, well, you certainly have a dilemma on your hands.
- 55:58Speaker 1: You're in a very tough situation. It's not fair to
- 56:03Speaker 1: you or to him. He can't help what's going on
- 56:05Speaker 1: with his health, and it's not fair that you have
- 56:08Speaker 1: to deal with all the stress of his health. So
- 56:12Speaker 1: it looks like y'all pray together because y'all met at
- 56:14Speaker 1: church and he's been open and honest with you about
- 56:17Speaker 1: his health problems. And he also says he wants you
- 56:20Speaker 1: to go with him on all of his doctor visits.
- 56:24Speaker 1: So maybe you can ask the doctor is there something
- 56:27Speaker 1: you can do to help him live a healthier lifestyle,
- 56:31Speaker 1: you know, like cooking, is it his diet, nutrition? Maybe
- 56:34Speaker 1: you can help him take his medication on a regular schedule,
- 56:38Speaker 1: exercising with him. So I don't know, maybe after you
- 56:42Speaker 1: go to the doctor with him, you can really make
- 56:45Speaker 1: your own decision. And if you really, really you need
- 56:48Speaker 1: to be honest with yourself. Are you really willing to
- 56:52Speaker 1: deal with all of this pressure? And I say you
- 56:55Speaker 1: got to hold off on sexy time right now, because
- 56:58Speaker 1: what did he see that the paramedics had to show up?
- 57:04Speaker 1: I mean, Steve, it's a lot. I think she needs
- 57:07Speaker 1: to take her time and and get to the bottom
- 57:10Speaker 1: of it and go to the doctor and see what's happening.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Steve subject, I don't think his heart can take it
- 57:21Speaker 1: to read this letter me either. Let's just get on
- 57:27Speaker 1: with this letter. He's sick as hell. Ask what we
- 57:32Speaker 1: really need to just get into this. He's sick as hell. Now,
- 57:37Speaker 1: we didn't need to know how sick is it? And
- 57:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. With all the sick people
- 57:44Speaker 1: on this show right here, Steve, we all can relate.
- 57:53Speaker 1: We can all relate to what you going through because
- 57:59Speaker 1: we go through it on this show right here. But
- 58:03Speaker 1: his sickness is at a whole other level. Yeah, he
- 58:07Speaker 1: gonna move into the next city of your damn right
- 58:10Speaker 1: because he needs somebody to watch his ass. You're dog
- 58:13Speaker 1: gonna right. He got three hours away. I'm surprised you're
- 58:15Speaker 1: able to drive here that far. Now, he's kind hearted.
- 58:19Speaker 1: He loved to make you laugh. Notice he said you
- 58:22Speaker 1: say he loved it make me laugh. You don't hear
- 58:24Speaker 1: him laughing real hard, dear, could lead to a problem. See,
- 58:30Speaker 1: you need to read Joel at a real careful uh not.
- 58:33Speaker 1: But I need your advice on how to handle him.
- 58:36Speaker 1: He got several health conditions. When you say several, you're
- 58:42Speaker 1: talking three four five. He's been open honest about all
- 58:48Speaker 1: his illnesses, which means it's several bunch of him. All
- 58:53Speaker 1: the medications he taken. He said, I should know exactly
- 58:57Speaker 1: what's going on here, and he wants to tie in
- 58:59Speaker 1: all his doctor's appointment You got to quit your job.
- 59:04Speaker 1: You see, you need way this is this is not
- 59:08Speaker 1: just a relationship. This is financial commitment that you got
- 59:12Speaker 1: to make because he wants you to tend all or
- 59:15Speaker 1: his jobs, all his doctor's appointments. You got to quit
- 59:20Speaker 1: your job. Well, I come back. We're gonna get down
- 59:24Speaker 1: to some suggestions I have for you on how to
- 59:27Speaker 1: get in the relationship with a sick person. Oh my goodness,
- 59:32Speaker 1: all right, Part two of Steve's response at twenty three
- 59:35Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening to show. Okay, Steve, let's
- 59:41Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. Come on, this woman won't tell
- 59:45Speaker 1: us how old they are, but she met this man
- 59:47Speaker 1: in church. He lived three hours away. They've been talking
- 59:50Speaker 1: on the phone, skyping and everything. They really like each other,
- 59:53Speaker 1: so now they don't want to skype he wants to
- 59:55Speaker 1: move closer so they don't spend all this time on
- 59:58Speaker 1: the phone. But as he wanted to share with her
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: what's going on with him. He's got several health issues.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: He's sick. He's been open and honest about all of
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: his illnesses, all of his illnesses. That means he got
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: several things going on. Could be high blood diabetes. He
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: ain't said nothing about Christ's Junior would have known right
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: away if this was sick or sale. Probably not that,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: so we don't really know the level of it. But
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: he said he wants you to attend all of his
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: doctor's appointments. It's where we left off at now, Lady,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I don't know how old you are, and I don't
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: know if y'all still working, But if he say all
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: the doctor's appointments, then I think you're gonna have to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: quit your job. So this is a financial commitment you're making.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Then you said, if he's not my problem, if he's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: your man, that's not a problem because I believe it
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: in being by his side through thick and thin. Were
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: based on this letter is mostly thin. It's mostly thin.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: He's already pretty wore out, so you need to consider
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: that But the thing that's got me terrified is that
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: he's been to the emergency room three times since I've
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: known him. Now I'm looking back through the letter. Y'all
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: only been knowing each other two months. He'd been to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the emergency room three times. Three times in two months
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to the emergency room. What to him? That's a lot
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: of trips, you know, if you're at the emergency room
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and they know you, if you pull up at the
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: emergency room and they just wave you on end. We
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: just got your paperwork, now, no you good? That's Hank.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Let him through. Come on, mister Hank, And how you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: still got your bracing on from last week? You didn't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: cut it off? Good, just came in. Now he's been
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: there three times. And now y'all was about to have
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: sex at your house and the next thing you knew,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: there was an ambulance outside my house. That means he
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: called his damn self. So now y'all about to have sex.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: This is trip number four to the emergency room in
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: two months. I'm starting to have second thoughts because I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: don't think he can handle me. I sh his head.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Don't want to kill this man. What should I do? Well,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: let's talk about the investment you're gonna have to make.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: First of all, you're gonna need to have oxygen tanks
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: around the house. Now, I don't know how much these
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: tanks cost. I think the initial investment is pretty high.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: You're gonna have to have the tanks and the refeels.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: You're gonna have to have the tanks and to refiel.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: You gonna be one in every room. Then you're gonna
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: have to get on put on the wall dim defribrillators.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You can get at least three of them, clear show
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: them highs Hell them is high because I've only seen
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: them at Gems and them is really really good. Gems

- 1:04:53Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do. It's, like I said, a
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: lot of pressure, you know. But you got to put

- 1:05:53Speaker 1: She really liked him, but he didn't informed her of
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: all the illnesses that he had. She said they were
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: about to have a little set time, and next thing
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: she knew, it was ambulances outside his house because he
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: had called an ambulance because he was having chest pain.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: She said, I like him, Lord, I don't want to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: kill this man. So now I'm just should I continue
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: with this relationship? If you move his sick ass in.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: There are some adjustments you're gonna have to make. Now,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: let's just go a couple of them oxygen tanks, defibrillators
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: all around the house. You gotta had to put the
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: ramps leading up to the house. You gott had to
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: put that tall toilet in the bathroom where you're staying.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Let stand up like you're running back, like you're about
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to take a hand off. I gotta get that tall
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: tarlet set. You gotta have your hands on your knees.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: My partner got one of them in his house after
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the hardest time I've ever been in the bathroom. You're
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: gonna have to get some blood pressure machines put around them.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Everybody gonna had to wear the medic alert pads. Now,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: listen to me. All the food in the house gotta
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: be took out of replaced with Kerba baby food. You
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: won't be eating no all that ham sandwiches. You won'ta

- 1:07:35Speaker 1: replace all them with the pens. All get all that
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: apple juice out of the house. Ain't no apple juice,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: none of that. Get rid of all of that because
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: you're gonna replace all that orange juice, apple juice, pine
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: up with juice with prune juice. You're gonna have to
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: get heathen pants all around the damn house. You got
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: to widen all them dolls in your house because you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: gotta be bringing in medical equipment. You know, sometimes the
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: ambulance needs to drive up into the house to get
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: his as. Yeah, you gotta do all. You gotta have
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: five stingiship round in health. You got have so much
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: med equipment. You go so much medically equipment plugged up,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you need five stings. So it's very expressive move. I
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: wouldn't move his own sass. When they're gonna put the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: X ray machine up, they're not. Yeah, yeah, you gotta
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: put that in that too. You gotta put that over
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that body's TV is going to cost and your bar.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Turn your bar into a medical display case. Look it out,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: all right, Thank you, Steve. Coming up at the top
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll tell you about a box catch
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: and release attempt on El Choppo's son. You're listening Morning show.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Mexican police captured a video gooseman Lopez. Now he is
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: leader of a powerful drug car and son listen, and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: son of El Choppo Guzman. So he was later released
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: because a video they got. They got into this intense
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: gun battle. Now security forces were conducting a routine patrol
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: in the city of Kululiakan, that's what it's called Koluliakan
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: when they were fired upon from a house. Now forces
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: returned fire and took custody of four people inside, including Guzman.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Once word got out that El Chappo's son was captured,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the drug king supporters showed up with guns blazing and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: turned the entire neighborhood into a war zone. After being
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: overpowered by fighters with a cartel, the authorities decided to
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: release him. Suzman. Hell yeah, yeah, officials, they don't do this,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: They don't do this own power. No, no, this is
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: real life right here. Officials say they made the decision
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to let him go in order to save lives. For critics,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: say Steve, the decision signaled a major victory for the cartel.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Now we all know l got myself because she listened
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: to me. That drug cartail business is serious over there.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: They came from everywhere. They got they got sometimes better
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: weapons than the police. It's more of them. And now,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: why would you risk your life to take this man
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: into custody when all these people are clearly committed to
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: killing you. You want to go home to your family.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I let the dude go too, I'm out gun, out numbered,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Hey man, let me let this dude go so we
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: can live when y'all stop if we let him go. Yeah,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: because who wants to die? I don't give a damn.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Who do you want to die? So you could say
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you took in el Choppo? Son, No, I don't care
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: what people. People act like, well they the police, they
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: should have. They were out numbered an out good Why
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: would you die just so you could say you arrested Choppo?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: So that's Craig guy out there. I never liked. Choppo
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: is serving a life sentence in the US with trafficking. Man.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I know, man, scarface, that's crazy. That guy. I never
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: liked him, never liked him. Oh my god, when you
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: get maded Scarface the movie Scarface, Okay, hari lard it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I would. I mean, you know, that's that's really and
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: in real life. I don't blame them police officers. I
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: let him go too, because it's not worth it. Why
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: should I die? All these people out here come to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: protect them, and all we gotta do is let him
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: go and we get to go home and live. Man,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: that's here he go. Hold on, hold on, he comes right.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: He's not handcuffed nothing, y'all here he is. Hold on.

- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I'll be out there. I'll be pulling the wagon for him,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a little red wagon with all the keyloads in it.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I got it for y'all me to put this. We

- 1:13:13Speaker 1: the sigh of relief when they're because they said, hey,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: it's like you said, Steve, it's too much. No, but no,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: it's not. It's really not worth it. Yeah, and it's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: a reason why all them people show it up. Ye.

- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he said that's tommy favorite player because you damn he
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: did captain and everything. That's why Tommy love it to him. Man,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: that boy Ben, he steps up to that plate, man
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: and he like he tall. Yeah, you know what, you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: can play with it as long as you want to.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: But on the real that dude he's a beast man.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: He cold with it. He cold. What he did is
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: that circumst to ask was outside. I haven't even been
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: following it because you know, it's just been a rough
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: sports year for me, so you know, I well, six
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: to four. Yeah, they did. Here we Go World Series
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: is set tomorrow night in Houston at Mena May Park.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Entertainers have all sorts of people
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and they're entourages, managers, security guards, hair makeup artists are
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: just the beginning. So if you're Snoop Dog, you need
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: a professional blunt roller. Okay, Snoop revealed that is necessary. Yes, yes,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: he recently revealed, Yeah, you don't have Yeah. He recently
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: revealed that he has a full time blunt roller on
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: his payroll. So Snoop says the guy has like a
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: sixth sense for popping up when he needs them. Snoop
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: says that his timing is impeccable and that the full
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: time blunt roller reportedly earns between forty and fifty grand
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: a year. Man roll, roll roll, No Carlos the role. Hell,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: that's what it wow. Forty to fifty grand a year
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to roll, plus the perks of you know he could
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: actually one hand roll. Everybody came one one hand roll.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: You know that it takes skill to one hand roll.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: You do know that though all I know is his
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: lips is drafted to the blunt roller. You roll that
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: much we you're gonna be dehydrated. Yeah, I'm I'm gonna
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: hire me a cigar carrier. You can do that much? Yeah,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: that's you can do that if you if you got
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: somebody working for they can't work no whales, for a
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: lot of money for a job just to carry your cigars. See,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: listen to me, y'all not looking at it from I
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: got some off days. I'm trying to figure something out
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: here on that's all day. You need them held, what
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: you need them held. That's what you have to pay
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: a person for the time if they work for you,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: they can't work no whales. Forty thousand dollars a year.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: That's that's a living. But you got to pay at
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: least that to get a person travel with you and
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: give up their life, right right. And I think that
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: me and Jay we could probably do that job since
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: we already here. I got three days, Junior, you do
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: the other two and we're good man. I can do
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: that too, y'all. We can split that and you in
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the house. You don't need to look Jay, you don't
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: even know nothing about ciguards though I'm just carrying it,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: don't matter. He pointed to the one he won't have. Yeah,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: that's how he got to do. Right, y'all gonna have
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: my dude figures dry, y'all gonna no, he said, Carrie Tim,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: He say careful, let's see. But you gotta take care
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: to be an expert at it. I wouldn't not do that.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: You keep all your stuff insulated as it is. That's
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: all that's gonna be. Yeah, I'm not hu ya. Coming
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: up next, we will have Steve's closing remarks at forty
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: nine after the hour. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, guys,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: it is Monday, last break of the day. Our girl
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Chirlotte Strawberry had the Monday all. Yeah. So oh man,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: oh man, what Junior? I just want to thank uk
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: man for Q nation. Just can I just just thank
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the bro just b you ain't no, Cus, you ain't.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I just want to bros Hey Junior, Hey, you ain't
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: got the word. You ain't either, time you ain't. You
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: ain't either. He alone can't thank that for what they
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: did for me, what they did for me. I just
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: want to say thank you to the entire que nation.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Thank you was acutest weekend. I'm not saying I was
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: acutest weekend. I was said, the hospitality and the way
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: they showed it and the love they gave me because
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: of un Steve, I won't thank him for that. That's
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: what I think to plead Junior. The problem that Tommy
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: is having it because he doesn't understand the principles of
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: our fraternity. He keeps thinking it's Scott sid when you
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: say our, are you including Junior, ain't talking about ours
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: as in mine? Oh? So Tommy is confusing it with
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: its brotherhood and friendship. KA Side is based on brotherhood.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: So is he A five A, and so is five
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Beta Sigma Omega Sci Fire is the only fraternity that's
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: built on friendship. It's a selected process. You ain't got
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: no friends, though anybody can be. You're born with brothers,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: but it's a selected process to have friends. That's what
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: he doesn't understand. But that's neither him nor that. Let
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: me get into my counting remarks. Please, that's what I'm
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: like know not Junior is not cute, but because of
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: his association with me, a group of friends of mine
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: treated him qute friend here cute friends. He's a friend
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: of qu q nation enveloped him as a friend Okay,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I think sigmas that hung out with me this weekend.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Thank y'all. Brother, how many signals? Thank you? That's where
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: the Bible verse came from God through that didn't have
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: for the sickness where there are two or more gathered
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: in mind. Hey, y'all, listen to me of real quickly
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: in your quest to fulfill your dreams, in your efforts
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to become successful, happy, I want you to just understand
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: something that along the way, Expect the unexpected, because that's
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: what's going to happen. The unexpected is coming. And it's
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: a if weird thing about the unexpected because guess what
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: the unexpected. It's usually called two things. Circumstance and tomorrow.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Both of those things can come in so many unexpected ways.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Circumstance as can be unexpected, and tomorrow is unexpected. You
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. So on your
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: quest to become successful, expect the unexpected. Prepare yourself to
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: be uncomfortable. You may not have to like it, but
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you do have to prepare yourself to become uncomfortable because
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: getting successful it's going to cause you to be uncomfortable.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. In order to
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: become successful, you should also know along your way to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: happiness and success that it's going to be some inconvenient moments.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: And so in that surreal simple thing, inconvenience is built
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: through inconvenience. So if you want to have the convenient
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: life that you're after, you have to be willing to
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: inconvenience yourself. Between inconvenience, between uncomfortable, and between the unexpected,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: A lot of things are gonna occur. But check this out, man,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Ain't something occurring even if you're not successful. You know,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: people talk about how hard it is to be successful,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: but I've been unsuccessful. Man, that's hard too, That's really hard.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: And I found that since life is going to be
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: hard trying to become successful, and since I've discovered that
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: being unsuccessful was hard, I just decided that I would
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: choose the harder of the two. If life is gonna
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: be hard for me, I might as well try to
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: get something out of it. And so I've chosen to
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: take the difficult route of becoming successful because being not
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: successful I found it to be just as hard. And
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something. I found it to be
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: a lot harder too, because for me it was demeaning
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: at time. You know, I didn't like the fact that
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: people looked at me a certain way, or I didn't
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: have nothing. I couldn't change nothing. And you know, listen,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: if you're in that position right now in your life
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: is very temporary. You know you have the right to
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: change that. You can make a conscious decision to get
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: on the road to success immediately. All you got to
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: do is start the process. But when you start the process,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: remember again, expect the unexpected, prepare to be uncomfortable, and
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: a life of convenience is created through inconvenience. If you
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: can accept those three things and add some faith to it,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: form a relationship with God somebody that gives you peace
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: of mind while you're going through the unexpected, the inconvenient,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: and the uncomfortable times, you can be successful too. Success
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: is yours. Just prepare yourself for those three things, and
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: the best preparation is gratitude in a relationship with God.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: If you got those two things working for you, you
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: can make it. In the words of Slying the Family Stone,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: you can make it if you try. Those are my
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: closing remarks today. Y'all have a great weekend. Bye, it's
