- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and the shove me through good it
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to the other for I don't join with me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You got turning. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come, come on your thing, huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I have something and
- 2:13Speaker 1: it so describes how I was living. It's so captures
- 2:19Speaker 1: the feelings that I had about beginning on the pathway
- 2:24Speaker 1: of my dreams. It so describes how I felt when
- 2:30Speaker 1: I was about to attempt something. And I have some
- 2:33Speaker 1: striking news for you. It describes often how I feel
- 2:37Speaker 1: still today to a degree. So let me tell you
- 2:41Speaker 1: what that is. Here's an analogy that I've heard a
- 2:46Speaker 1: couple of different ways, but I've kind of, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: fixed it around to where I can drink it better,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I think it fits my personality to describe it
- 2:56Speaker 1: to people best this way. I've talked often about the
- 3:00Speaker 1: urgency of doing something with your life, of getting started today,
- 3:06Speaker 1: of stopping the procrastination and putting it off, and waiting
- 3:10Speaker 1: on all your ducks to line up in a row,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and waiting till the stars aligned themselves. If you ain't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know such a thing, you're never gonna get started. I
- 3:19Speaker 1: don't know too many people who can say that all
- 3:22Speaker 1: the ducks just lined up in a row. Things happen
- 3:26Speaker 1: even when you get them lined up. One of the
- 3:28Speaker 1: ducks get out of line, or somebody knock over the domino,
- 3:31Speaker 1: or something happens. But here's the point I'm getting at.
- 3:35Speaker 1: God has so many blessings available to you. You who's listening.
- 3:45Speaker 1: God has so many blessings available to you from where
- 3:50Speaker 1: you are right now. I don't care what you've gotten
- 3:54Speaker 1: yourself into or what you've done. God has so many
- 3:59Speaker 1: blessings that he can send your way. But you have
- 4:04Speaker 1: to do something. See a lot of people just sit
- 4:08Speaker 1: around and go man, and something always happening to you.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You're always getting a break, You're always doing this. You
- 4:14Speaker 1: always doing man, don't nothing come my way. Listen to me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: If nothing ever comes your way. You know why that is,
- 4:21Speaker 1: It's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:28Speaker 1: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:31Speaker 1: to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:38Speaker 1: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:42Speaker 1: He can set the ducks up in the road. But
- 4:45Speaker 1: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 1: hearts and set the ducks up in the road. For
- 4:50Speaker 1: what have you put forth any effort? Have you made
- 4:54Speaker 1: a single step in any direction to do the right
- 4:58Speaker 1: thing or go the right way that it gives him
- 5:00Speaker 1: something to put his finger on. Come on, man, God
- 5:05Speaker 1: can only bless you according to your faith. If you
- 5:09Speaker 1: have a little bit of faith, give him that. Let
- 5:11Speaker 1: him work with that. You know, man, I didn't always
- 5:14Speaker 1: start with these speeches you're hear in the morning now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 1: to these. Hell, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 1: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:34Speaker 1: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:36Speaker 1: failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People getting mad
- 5:43Speaker 1: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 1: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 1: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 1: any effort, you can get blessed from whoever you are
- 5:54Speaker 1: in your life. Wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 1: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from. Now.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 1: done it. I got over. Man. I learned some things
- 6:08Speaker 1: along the way. Because here's a deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 1: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:13Speaker 1: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:18Speaker 1: up in the morning, He's still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 1: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. Here's a deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 1: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fear of the unknown is incredible. Well, what if
- 6:41Speaker 1: I fail, What if I don't get picked. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 1: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 1: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:52Speaker 1: going to be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:55Speaker 1: amateur night one time, quitting your job, follow in your dream,
- 7:01Speaker 1: going forward despite all the nay says, it's like stepping
- 7:05Speaker 1: off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the
- 7:09Speaker 1: edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:28Speaker 1: and allow me to drift down. See. I've never skydived before,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but I would imagine part of the thrill. And I
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't know this because I'm not going to skydive to
- 7:39Speaker 1: find out. I think part of the thrill for people
- 7:42Speaker 1: is the danger part of throwing yourself out a plane
- 7:46Speaker 1: and how it feels to be free falling, but the
- 7:50Speaker 1: whole time they're free falling, having this exhilarating over the
- 7:53Speaker 1: top moment. You have got to believe in your heart
- 7:58Speaker 1: of hearts, you have i to hope with everything in
- 8:01Speaker 1: you that when you pull this cord the shoot opens
- 8:05Speaker 1: or else. This ain't a good move at all. But
- 8:07Speaker 1: you've packed your shoot yourself. You've taken the lessons, so
- 8:11Speaker 1: you go ahead and you make the leap. Now, the
- 8:14Speaker 1: only thing about quitting your job and following your dream
- 8:16Speaker 1: is you ain't really been trained all that good for this.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You didn't packed your shoot, but you ain't never opened
- 8:22Speaker 1: it before. So I walked off this cliff, That's what
- 8:25Speaker 1: it was like. And you following your dream is like
- 8:28Speaker 1: you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where people
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't never make the jump. They see somebody like myself
- 8:35Speaker 1: who jumped off the cliff and the pass shoote don't
- 8:38Speaker 1: open right away, and I hit a couple of rocks
- 8:40Speaker 1: on the way down. I got my back cut up
- 8:43Speaker 1: pretty bad. They see that three years living in a car, man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: he got his life toe down jumping off that cliff.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I ain't jumping off that cliff. But see, what you
- 8:53Speaker 1: don't understand is you don't know it. But eventually the
- 8:57Speaker 1: shoot will open, and I'm at the parachute opening part
- 9:01Speaker 1: of my life, man, where a shoot then open and
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm drifting and I'm able to guide my shoote over
- 9:08Speaker 1: to Paris and glide. I've I've glided over to Africa
- 9:11Speaker 1: and seen what it looked like. It's a slow ride down.
- 9:15Speaker 1: When the passhute finally opened and my back didn't heal
- 9:18Speaker 1: too and the cuts that I had on me, I
- 9:21Speaker 1: remember now I know how to stay away from the edge.
- 9:24Speaker 1: But the parish chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 1: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 1: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 1: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:35Speaker 1: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:38Speaker 1: my dream. Your pass shoote is gone open, but I'll
- 9:41Speaker 1: tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 1: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:47Speaker 1: off that cliff God to get the passhute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But you got the jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 1: ain't it Now? That question is the end of this story.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Right here today when you jumping, you're listening show, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It us upon us. Another day, another blessing,
- 10:06Speaker 1: another opportunity, another moment in time, And oh, thank you
- 10:11Speaker 1: for your grace and mercy. I do, I do, I do?
- 10:14Speaker 1: Man I'm up again. Whoa he keep doing it? Don't
- 10:17Speaker 1: he keep keep He just keep on waking me up. Man,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I show appreciate it. I do. Man. I'm gonna take
- 10:24Speaker 1: advantage of the day too. I'm gonna start it with
- 10:26Speaker 1: some gratitude and that will have an effect on my altitude,
- 10:30Speaker 1: which has a direct correlation into my altitude. I expect
- 10:34Speaker 1: nothing but great things that happened today. Even if something
- 10:37Speaker 1: goes counted to the plan, I know that all gonna
- 10:40Speaker 1: work out for the good for me. I'm sure about that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I ain't seen him do it too many times. Steve
- 10:44Speaker 1: Harving Martin Show, Charlon Strawberry calling for real mouth of
- 10:47Speaker 1: the South Junior government name kills space and the legend
- 10:50Speaker 1: that his nephew Tommy Junior. What's on your mind this morning? Man?
- 10:54Speaker 1: All right? Uncle? Will you know it's Halloween today? You
- 10:57Speaker 1: know it's Halloween. Happy Halloween. Yeah, but he's I just
- 11:03Speaker 1: want to know what would happened to you? One kid
- 11:06Speaker 1: just stole two thousand dollars off his mother's credit card
- 11:09Speaker 1: for his girlfriend, and she on she on social media
- 11:13Speaker 1: crying about it. What would happened to you if you
- 11:15Speaker 1: stole two thousand off your parents credit card. It'll be
- 11:19Speaker 1: Halloween for me. Every day after that. My parents would
- 11:23Speaker 1: be like ghost throwing out of walls, whooping my ass. Scary,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm talking about it. Every time we thought about we'd
- 11:30Speaker 1: be on our way to church. I'll be in the
- 11:31Speaker 1: back seat. He should just turned around the backhand me
- 11:35Speaker 1: taking that two off. That staying last summer an't no way.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Two thousand, Yeah, that's a lot of huddle dog. Two
- 11:46Speaker 1: thousand and sixty eight, you were too, But in sixty
- 11:54Speaker 1: to eight, yeah you were rich. Yeah I wasn't. But
- 12:00Speaker 1: my parents is two thousand and plus that that can't
- 12:07Speaker 1: enter my mind to take this money. First, I was
- 12:12Speaker 1: raised not to steal. Okay, yeah, we all, but you
- 12:17Speaker 1: still did it though I did. But I did, I did,
- 12:22Speaker 1: I did. I didn't steal from them though all those
- 12:29Speaker 1: gas stations. That was different. I knew. I wasn't allowed
- 12:35Speaker 1: to steal from no neighbors. Yeah, never stole from a friend, right,
- 12:42Speaker 1: But after that it was, you know, but everybody else's
- 12:44Speaker 1: fair game. Well then again, you know, I ain't really
- 12:48Speaker 1: shame't either. So see you were okay ely that my
- 12:56Speaker 1: man I turned it left my man. I understand you know,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you know, you know, necessity, I just do man, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: I understand. I know it ain't don't make it right,
- 13:07Speaker 1: but I got our Necessity pushes people into doing some things,
- 13:10Speaker 1: so I try not to beat churgmental. You know what
- 13:13Speaker 1: it's like. People will online sometimes commenting about this has
- 13:16Speaker 1: nothing to do with you, but what talk about my
- 13:18Speaker 1: parenting skills? And then you know, after they had their
- 13:23Speaker 1: tenth baby. You know, I just don't want There'll be
- 13:25Speaker 1: a lot of opportunities for you to show me how
- 13:27Speaker 1: it's done. What happened? Good morning, everybody? Yeah, go ahead
- 13:35Speaker 1: out all right? Coming up with thirty tremendutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we're gonna hear from the pastor and the deacon and
- 13:41Speaker 1: church complaints right after this you're listening to show it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now for church complaints with Deacon deaf Jam
- 13:51Speaker 1: and Reverend motown. We what were you doing? We wing
- 13:57Speaker 1: on my themes? Okay, yeah, that's right. You know what?
- 14:01Speaker 1: There a thing on TikTok of giving a theme song,
- 14:06Speaker 1: not tiktoks. What I waited on, I don't know you
- 14:11Speaker 1: was TikTok path. I don't TikTok, but I am on
- 14:15Speaker 1: it occasionally m m We are here in purity and
- 14:24Speaker 1: floored clevity as we untulate on this die pieces of
- 14:32Speaker 1: a beautiful day. Yeah, we done all of a new
- 14:42Speaker 1: day in proclevityro wish the peacefulness and joy of the
- 14:52Speaker 1: realm of the nods, good God Amn, knowing that all
- 14:58Speaker 1: things is possible. Yeah to him, believe it. Cherish h
- 15:07Speaker 1: and Perkel take it home, pass on the goodness or
- 15:12Speaker 1: field with church complain. We got a situation pasted. Draymond
- 15:20Speaker 1: Green called the prayer line and he's thinking about hitting
- 15:26Speaker 1: Kanye West. Uh. Brother Percy told him to knock his
- 15:31Speaker 1: ass out. You need to talk to Brother Percy. He
- 15:34Speaker 1: really getting out of control on the prayer line. We're
- 15:37Speaker 1: really okay with Brother Percy over prayer line, especially with
- 15:42Speaker 1: this prairie request. Somebody need to lay hands on your ya.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Kanye all dumb this boy, Yeah, so full and so
- 16:00Speaker 1: on whatever you want to call easy right. YEA heard
- 16:11Speaker 1: him calling Shelf other day a Moses out hill. Yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 1: all of them need a good Draymond Green suckle punch
- 16:27Speaker 1: in more news past that we have now you know
- 16:30Speaker 1: President Biden is releasing prisoners who are convicted who who
- 16:35Speaker 1: were convicted under federal law of marijuana possessions. Now that
- 16:41Speaker 1: creates a problem. There are seven hundred and thirty six
- 16:44Speaker 1: members of the church that are not coming home and
- 16:48Speaker 1: they are asking they can they stay at the church
- 16:50Speaker 1: till they get on their feet and can they smoke
- 16:54Speaker 1: out back? So that's who are you ain't staying here?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Come on, your blessing is get out. Your blessing wasn't
- 17:08Speaker 1: somewhere to go? M No, your blessing no, nor blessing
- 17:14Speaker 1: is that you're getting out, but not that you got
- 17:18Speaker 1: somewhere to go. A Secondly, there will be no reefles smoking,
- 17:25Speaker 1: jack pot, joint or jerusale. No. It may be legalized
- 17:31Speaker 1: in the state, but it is not legalized here at
- 17:34Speaker 1: this church. What deacon, but the young generation, can you
- 17:39Speaker 1: please explain the reefer because they have no air fawn?
- 17:41Speaker 1: Did what you talking that? Did he say that's more
- 17:50Speaker 1: than one? Okay? Sticks? Okay, shorts, major water sis all chronic, Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 1: call it what you want to call it. You we
- 18:19Speaker 1: would let them know. Seven hundred thirty six members, what
- 18:22Speaker 1: did he get sat electronic board? All right, here's another issue.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Pass the eye. Brother Carton dougas passed away. Now, as
- 18:40Speaker 1: you know, big car was seven hundred pounds, and the
- 18:44Speaker 1: family chose the cream made him. Now here's the problem.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Um uh, they charged by the pound when they cream
- 18:52Speaker 1: make it all right, they can only afford that half
- 18:56Speaker 1: and they need help with the other half. And it's
- 18:59Speaker 1: your call pass. But but yeah, they can only pay
- 19:02Speaker 1: for half of the buying because they paying them, and
- 19:06Speaker 1: that half of amount is the maximum. Aunt we do
- 19:08Speaker 1: for funeral, we only do half right now, I don't
- 19:16Speaker 1: know what they're gonna do now. I had told them
- 19:20Speaker 1: we could have had his funeral here at the church,
- 19:25Speaker 1: but the coffin calls had run up, and I had
- 19:29Speaker 1: told them the session you know what to do? They
- 19:35Speaker 1: family ship all that that should I was, but well,
- 19:41Speaker 1: but we got to tell the family we can't get
- 19:43Speaker 1: this cream. Ain't half to buy the paths we don't
- 19:45Speaker 1: have got well, I don't know, because all I want
- 19:49Speaker 1: to have. I don't know if you've been down to
- 19:51Speaker 1: the creamatory or not, but it ain't it ain't. But
- 19:55Speaker 1: half of him can get in there. She The reason
- 19:59Speaker 1: they charge two is cast only half of his big
- 20:02Speaker 1: hand can get into the crematory machine and the other
- 20:07Speaker 1: half it outside. Now what they're charging is double they're
- 20:11Speaker 1: charging double because it's like having two cremations. That's what
- 20:16Speaker 1: the problem is. Now. I say, if the family can
- 20:19Speaker 1: just understand what I'm suggested, don't go down there. They
- 20:23Speaker 1: will let them do it. They wait, put his ass
- 20:27Speaker 1: in half. Oh, we made the half that's already a
- 20:34Speaker 1: big ass jaw, and then let them get rid of
- 20:39Speaker 1: the other half, and you celebrate the one jaw. All
- 20:45Speaker 1: of him ain't in there. Let's look at the time
- 20:49Speaker 1: we have to go, but earth is already the size
- 20:52Speaker 1: of a trash can. Coming up, coming up next as
- 20:57Speaker 1: the Chief Chief Harvey in the building for your love questions.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Right after you're listening to the show. Coming up at
- 21:08Speaker 1: the top of the hour and Entertainment News, We're gonna
- 21:11Speaker 1: have an update on the violent attack of Speaker Nancy
- 21:14Speaker 1: Pelosi's husband Paul. On Friday, Our Forever President Barack Obama
- 21:18Speaker 1: speaks out against herschell Walker running for his Senate seat
- 21:21Speaker 1: in Georgia. And Diddy replaces Kanye on Forbes twenty twenty
- 21:26Speaker 1: two Hip Hop Billionaires List. Wow, right now it is
- 21:30Speaker 1: time to ask fifty Yeah, Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 21:36Speaker 1: ready for you, Kenya, and Denver writes I'm forty eight
- 21:39Speaker 1: years old and I've been married for eighteen years. My
- 21:43Speaker 1: husband started sleeping in his man cave because he had
- 21:47Speaker 1: a bad back. He has a bad back and our
- 21:49Speaker 1: mattress is just too soft. I'm not sure how a
- 21:52Speaker 1: recliner is better for his back, but I don't want
- 21:55Speaker 1: to argue. Why else would he prefer to sleep in
- 21:58Speaker 1: the cold basement alone? Please help? Got a bad back.
- 22:03Speaker 1: M hmmm, he got a bad back. And all you
- 22:07Speaker 1: need to know is sweet to bad back happen? When
- 22:11Speaker 1: did it? Hard back happen three years ago? At fifteen
- 22:15Speaker 1: year off? Then that's when the marriage started going bad
- 22:19Speaker 1: or fifteen he's it's a combination that his back really
- 22:22Speaker 1: is hurt, and that's excuse just sleep down snacks something
- 22:26Speaker 1: about making that bad and got on his marriage. You
- 22:29Speaker 1: make his back hurt and it ain't the mattress. Yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: she said the mattress is too soft. Now that's what
- 22:37Speaker 1: he told her. It couldn't be the mattress is too talk,
- 22:41Speaker 1: too soft, or she is too hot, well none of
- 22:46Speaker 1: them all right, Well, but that's why that's why he
- 22:49Speaker 1: in the basement, And that's why she wrote the letter.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Because the answer ain't in bad. Yeah, it ain't in
- 22:57Speaker 1: the mattress. It ain't in the reclinse. So what should
- 23:01Speaker 1: she do? She wanted marriage, Get a matching recline and
- 23:06Speaker 1: go down, then be with your hood. Okay, a mattress recline,
- 23:11Speaker 1: A new mattress now, he said, a matching recliner. I
- 23:15Speaker 1: mean that made sense to get a new mattress. Problem solved.
- 23:21Speaker 1: But you you're not fitting to do that because you're
- 23:23Speaker 1: so busy wanting to know why he won't get in
- 23:26Speaker 1: this soft ass match. But then you prefer the soft
- 23:28Speaker 1: mattress over your man. This new discovery, this is her
- 23:34Speaker 1: fa No, it ain't half fault. It's not her fault
- 23:38Speaker 1: at all. But she don't want to be a part
- 23:41Speaker 1: of the solution. He didn't even tell her. He just
- 23:45Speaker 1: started doing it, he said, because the mattress is too
- 23:50Speaker 1: taught soft. She never even thought to say, well, baby,
- 23:53Speaker 1: let's just get a different mattress. Your man husband back
- 23:56Speaker 1: hurt and he got to go to work. What's up?
- 23:59Speaker 1: But they got a bunch of hard ass mattresses too.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Let's call firm. They don't care about their marriage. What

- 24:21Speaker 1: he said I can't be at it. I can be
- 24:23Speaker 1: at it if we get married. When he said, if

- 26:19Speaker 1: That's that's your business. Yes, that is her business, all right?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Moving on last one, Steve to Nina and Philly. Nina says,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm a modern day cougar and my man is twenty
- 26:30Speaker 1: three years younger. I didn't talk to him at all
- 26:33Speaker 1: last weekend, and he didn't come by for dinner last Sunday.
- 26:36Speaker 1: He popped up on Tuesday and asked me to pay
- 26:39Speaker 1: his car notes. Should I pay it or punish him

- 26:51Speaker 1: don't think it's crazy. You're stupid. He asked this question, cougar.
- 26:57Speaker 1: What's the differ between the mode day coug and an
- 26:59Speaker 1: old fan. She ain't trying to tell us how old

- 27:51Speaker 1: been You don't give a dime about him all up? Yeah,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but lady, don't pay it. Please don't pay it. You've

- 28:16Speaker 1: of them. Well they didn't really think it. Yeah, they
- 28:19Speaker 1: didn't really use that term back in the day, but

- 28:25Speaker 1: calls herself a cougar. Okay, huh, what else y'all want
- 28:31Speaker 1: to talk about? You're through with that? Call up? I
- 28:35Speaker 1: was through with it when she first rode in. Soon
- 28:39Speaker 1: as you ran it, Shirley, I was done. It was
- 28:41Speaker 1: nothing to do, I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, come up,
- 28:50Speaker 1: you come up short. She don't know what, Sirley. She
- 28:53Speaker 1: doesn't know that she's being stupid. Obviously, she knows exactly
- 28:57Speaker 1: what she is. She don't call it herself a modern
- 29:00Speaker 1: day coocause she knows exactly what she is. Should I
- 29:04Speaker 1: pay it or punish him? Either way, which which ward
- 29:08Speaker 1: do you benefit from? All Right? He just gonna go
- 29:12Speaker 1: way world Land. So coming up, coming up at the
- 29:18Speaker 1: top of the our we'll have some entertainment news for
- 29:20Speaker 1: you right after this. You're listening string show. Paul Pelosi,
- 29:28Speaker 1: the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was a victim
- 29:30Speaker 1: of a violent attack and their San Francisco home around
- 29:33Speaker 1: two twenty seven am on Friday, after intruders attacked him
- 29:37Speaker 1: with a hammer. Paul Pelosi was able to call nine
- 29:41Speaker 1: one one and police arrived and found Paul struggling with
- 29:44Speaker 1: Dave Depepe over a hammer. That's according to San Francisco
- 29:49Speaker 1: police reports. Officers unseen witness Depepe violently attacking and assaulting
- 29:56Speaker 1: um Pelosi before they tackled him to the ground and
- 30:00Speaker 1: rested him. Paul went under a successful surgery to repair
- 30:04Speaker 1: get this the skull fracture and serious injuries to his
- 30:07Speaker 1: right arm and hands. David Dupete now faces charges of
- 30:11Speaker 1: attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary,
- 30:16Speaker 1: and other felonies in relation to the attack. Were very
- 30:19Speaker 1: happy to report that Paul Pelosi is expected to make
- 30:22Speaker 1: a full recovery and our prayers of course with him
- 30:26Speaker 1: and the speaker. I was proud of that boy when
- 30:31Speaker 1: the police got there. He'd call nine one one and
- 30:34Speaker 1: was struggling. But do you know how long it takes?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Though it's a few minutes, But how do you call
- 30:39Speaker 1: nine one one in the middle of an ass? How
- 30:42Speaker 1: do you do that old dude, old dude in shape
- 30:45Speaker 1: when they walked in. When he was struggling with the Himmel.
- 30:50Speaker 1: M wow, he had not already got it in his arm. Yeah,
- 30:56Speaker 1: all the defensive wounds this war right here, was trying
- 30:59Speaker 1: to hang on it him, hey man, Yeah, defending himself
- 31:02Speaker 1: and fighting for his life. Right. The security the speaker
- 31:05Speaker 1: at the house, I have security at her house. That's
- 31:08Speaker 1: what people were saying. Where was the security? Yeah, just
- 31:11Speaker 1: walk up in her house. That's horrible and the hate
- 31:15Speaker 1: all right, Moving on to our forever President Barack Obama.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Mister Obama highlighted the obvious about Republican Senate candidate Herschel
- 31:26Speaker 1: Walker during a speech on Friday night in Georgia. President
- 31:30Speaker 1: Obama called out Herschel Walker for carrying around a toy badge,
- 31:33Speaker 1: and Michael likened Herschel's behavior to a kid playing Cops
- 31:37Speaker 1: and robbers. Obama said that Walker is a celebrity that
- 31:40Speaker 1: wants to be a politician, and he pointed out that
- 31:43Speaker 1: Herschel was a great professional football player, but that doesn't
- 31:46Speaker 1: qualify him for other jobs. Take a listen, or let's
- 31:51Speaker 1: say you go to the the hospital. You say you know
- 31:53Speaker 1: that Walker guy, he sure coer turn up the Sanford
- 31:57Speaker 1: Stadium give him a scalpel. No, you wouldn't say that,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you'd you'd ask at least I would has he done
- 32:08Speaker 1: surgery before? And by the way, the opposite is true too,
- 32:14Speaker 1: like you may have liked me as president, but you
- 32:17Speaker 1: would not let me starting a tailback for the dogs.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I mean, can you imagine my slow, old skinny behind
- 32:26Speaker 1: getting hit by some three hundred pound defensive title who
- 32:30Speaker 1: runs a four or six forty. You'd have to scrape
- 32:33Speaker 1: me off the field. No, I can't, No, I can't.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I'm good at a lot of things, but that would
- 32:40Speaker 1: not be one of those things that I'm good at.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Just feel good to be spoken. I wanted to come
- 32:53Speaker 1: back and do a sick well put though well put
- 33:03Speaker 1: spoken on that. I got to get to the polls, y'all.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Her Shawalker against Walnock is horrible. Stacy Abrams against Kemp.
- 33:13Speaker 1: This woman has a lot to say. She brings a
- 33:16Speaker 1: lot to the table. She is what Georgia needs. I'm
- 33:19Speaker 1: starting to see a turn in some of the people
- 33:23Speaker 1: hip hop parties. I've heard talking out okay, behalf alright,
- 33:28Speaker 1: I've seen turning yes, ye, yes, let's got to get
- 33:32Speaker 1: to the poles. We gotta get to the pos. We
- 33:37Speaker 1: gotta get to the poss from Milwaukee for Detroit, we
- 33:40Speaker 1: gotta get to the post. Maro Linas got Florida. Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: we already voted, Yes, we did. We early voted on
- 33:50Speaker 1: this show. Let's get it because if Beth better. When
- 33:54Speaker 1: I swear I'm going up there, I'm I'm gonna roll
- 33:56Speaker 1: them up out of there myself. When when I'm telling
- 33:59Speaker 1: you I'm going down, I'm rolling Hot wheels Ryan, I
- 34:02Speaker 1: ain't rolling him my office. Still, I'm just gonna roll
- 34:04Speaker 1: him down and get him in his cup. It's awful.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Come out, Come on, let me help you. You've done enough? Yes,
- 34:13Speaker 1: all right. The Forbes list of the Wealthiest Hip Hop
- 34:16Speaker 1: Artists twenty twenty two is out, and there are a
- 34:19Speaker 1: few changes on the new list. The most notable change
- 34:22Speaker 1: is Kanye is out and Diddy is in. Sean Diddy
- 34:26Speaker 1: Combs is hip hop's third richest icon by net worth.
- 34:30Speaker 1: His interests in Sean John Clothing, bad Boy Worldwide Record Label,
- 34:34Speaker 1: and his joint Bitcher venture with vodka brand Sirock have
- 34:38Speaker 1: placed Diddy's worth at one billion dollars now. Jay Z,
- 34:43Speaker 1: of course, has continually topped the last year year since
- 34:47Speaker 1: twenty nineteen. So there you go. Kanye's out, didd He's
- 34:52Speaker 1: in one billion dollars? Did he made it to the
- 34:54Speaker 1: billion dollars club? Steve, Well, that's what happens when you
- 34:58Speaker 1: SA no cancel yourself. Your rankings dropped in a week,
- 35:06Speaker 1: Carl it in a week immediately immediately, you know, I'd
- 35:11Speaker 1: be I'd be talking about Kanye man. I hope he
- 35:14Speaker 1: don't do nothing else for himself. I really do. I
- 35:18Speaker 1: just seem to be nothing what to himself. I just
- 35:22Speaker 1: hope I just did I say it right? Did I say? Yeah?
- 35:28Speaker 1: I just hope you don't do nothing. Yeah, what were
- 35:30Speaker 1: you saying? See he was checking my ground, which was surprised. No,
- 35:36Speaker 1: I didn't hear what you said. Oh I don't care
- 35:39Speaker 1: how you say it, don't make me no difference your grammar.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I don't think he's gonna hurt himself at all too much.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I just wish somebody could get to him and talk
- 35:52Speaker 1: to him, and I wish he would listen. Yeah, that's
- 35:55Speaker 1: the if he listens. Yeah, all right, we're moving on
- 35:58Speaker 1: coming up, coming up in twenty it's after the hour.
- 36:01Speaker 1: We are eight days away from election day and early
- 36:04Speaker 1: voting is still going on in several states. We'll talk
- 36:07Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to show well.
- 36:13Speaker 1: With the general election now eight days away, some sort
- 36:17Speaker 1: of early voting option is underway and over thirty five states. Okay,
- 36:21Speaker 1: you can vote early. In Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee,
- 36:26Speaker 1: and Nevada. More than seventeen million people have voted early,
- 36:30Speaker 1: about fifteen million more than just over a week ago.
- 36:33Speaker 1: The pace of early voting numbers are projected to pick
- 36:36Speaker 1: up even further this week because of Florida, Texas, and
- 36:40Speaker 1: California's larger size, broader voter turnout activity is expected there,
- 36:45Speaker 1: along with the fact that Floridians tend to use mail
- 36:48Speaker 1: ballots more frequently than some of the other states to
- 36:51Speaker 1: cast their votes early. And people are coming out, but
- 36:54Speaker 1: we need more, and we need young people too, Steve,
- 36:56Speaker 1: we gotta have the young people. I did it. I
- 36:59Speaker 1: wish every body realize that there's an assault on us.
- 37:03Speaker 1: We are under assault from the right wing party, who
- 37:09Speaker 1: is composed of qann all of these the skinheads, the
- 37:19Speaker 1: white supremist groups, the all these groups they're in that party,
- 37:24Speaker 1: they're on the right. You're not noticing this. We are
- 37:28Speaker 1: under assault, and they think that they have now the
- 37:32Speaker 1: people in place and power that will helped him bring
- 37:36Speaker 1: about the policies that will help them with their assault.
- 37:41Speaker 1: This is what's happening to us. We've always been under attacked.
- 37:44Speaker 1: It's really really obvious right now, back in this attack
- 37:48Speaker 1: by voting yes, by stopping some of some of these
- 37:52Speaker 1: candidates who have aligned themselves with Trump, aligned themselves with
- 37:58Speaker 1: the lie that the election was stolen, align themselves with
- 38:01Speaker 1: the rhetoric that you've been hearing from the January sixth
- 38:04Speaker 1: Committee at just everything, all of this. These people that
- 38:09Speaker 1: went over that wall, they own the far right. Man,
- 38:14Speaker 1: you got to be kidding me. And for us to
- 38:17Speaker 1: sit here and not vote against that and allow it
- 38:20Speaker 1: to actually come to fruition through policy, it's it's it's
- 38:25Speaker 1: it's shame on us, man. We have got to vote. Man. Look,
- 38:30Speaker 1: we're not gonna end racism, I got that, but we
- 38:33Speaker 1: can slow down some of this racist policy. We can
- 38:36Speaker 1: slow down some of these races from getting in a
- 38:39Speaker 1: powerful position. Man, Listen to the rhetoric when you hear
- 38:43Speaker 1: these politicians talking about it's been a stolen election. They
- 38:48Speaker 1: bought into the lie. They know good Hairwell, this election
- 38:51Speaker 1: wasn't stolen it. They got female candidates, male candidates, white candidates.
- 38:59Speaker 1: They haven't found herschel Man day he got. I don't
- 39:04Speaker 1: know you could buy found it. I've saying something. Ain't
- 39:13Speaker 1: nothing better than I found a black person against black people.

- 39:25Speaker 1: please go vote, Go vote early vote, early vote, early vote.

- 46:40Speaker 1: ask you? Do you mind doing for me? Do you
- 46:44Speaker 1: think you could possibly put up some ramps where you
- 46:48Speaker 1: got steps at and uh and your phone? Could you
- 46:51Speaker 1: take your mind if you take the phone and put
- 46:54Speaker 1: it in brail for me? Oh wait, wait, wait man?
- 46:56Speaker 1: What the hell I need to put my taking rampside
- 47:00Speaker 1: and putting phones in and real for what was going

- 48:39Speaker 1: to do it, and I want to be able to
- 48:40Speaker 1: come now now. And I told you when I felt
- 48:43Speaker 1: what I tell you, I said I wanted to feel
- 48:45Speaker 1: my way around. Didn't I say that I don't need
- 48:47Speaker 1: to feel your way down? I needed to be able
- 48:49Speaker 1: to see what you're doing. I mean, I don't care
- 48:50Speaker 1: about you be ain't able to cut no at being blind.
- 48:53Speaker 1: You got to be able to see to do that.
- 48:55Speaker 1: This could probably do to do wonders for your shot.
- 48:58Speaker 1: People to come from miles around to see somebody like
- 49:01Speaker 1: myself cutting the hand that kind of in my shot?
- 49:04Speaker 1: Did you hear what I said? I heard what you said,
- 49:07Speaker 1: and what I don't want you to do it make
- 49:09Speaker 1: me mad about this? Now you're gonna get mad about
- 49:11Speaker 1: something that belonged to me. I'm offering and you can't
- 49:15Speaker 1: read it. This you blind doctor, I can't help you
- 49:18Speaker 1: when you run. Man, go on with that now listen,
- 49:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here, and i'm gonna tell
- 49:23Speaker 1: it to you strength. I'm coming down now to that
- 49:25Speaker 1: barber shop. I'm gonna feel it boots out and I'm
- 49:28Speaker 1: gonna start cutting now. One thing I don't want to
- 49:31Speaker 1: do and have to get into no tussle with you now,
- 49:34Speaker 1: I don't want that. It was about getting no trussing
- 49:36Speaker 1: with me. But did you bring your in my shot?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Though much? You're gonna cut it. It's gonna be some
- 49:42Speaker 1: plunge you move around him. But I'm coming down there
- 49:45Speaker 1: and I'm coming down that this evening. Now, what thing
- 49:47Speaker 1: you no? You gonna keep going with my shot? You're
- 49:51Speaker 1: gonna You're gonna get you what by blind man is
- 49:54Speaker 1: what you're gonna do. You ain't gonna see it coming either.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You hear me? Bring you as long as I got

- 50:35Speaker 1: you got the nerve the discriminade gives me. I don't know,

- 50:44Speaker 1: You're nothing daring maney how even fix you hang them
- 50:48Speaker 1: the calley they give me. They give me this number
- 50:52Speaker 1: and say you is the one that do the hiring
- 50:55Speaker 1: round the barber shop. You don't call my personal number.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You called my don't no? What different do that make it?
- 51:04Speaker 1: If I'm some man looking for a job. See, you
- 51:07Speaker 1: don't call my personal phone. You're gonna watch your tone
- 51:11Speaker 1: with me. What you're gonna do. I ain't gonna watch.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I tell you one thing you're gonna watch. You're gonna
- 51:20Speaker 1: watch me get on your just why are you gonna
- 51:22Speaker 1: get on? You can't say me? I got to hang

- 52:04Speaker 1: I really do much. I think I did pretty damn good. Yeah,
- 52:13Speaker 1: I don't know, and you know, I just I just
- 52:15Speaker 1: I'm just now realizing that I have arrived. Surely. You
- 52:18Speaker 1: know when people take your prank and they put it
- 52:21Speaker 1: on social media and they start they start using it
- 52:25Speaker 1: and and and and and lips sinking it, that's when
- 52:27Speaker 1: you know you have arrived. So I have arrived, and
- 52:32Speaker 1: I think, oh the TikTok and your boy I got
- 52:37Speaker 1: time today. You don't understand. If I ain't prank, then

- 54:19Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're going
- 54:22Speaker 1: to read this one right here right now. You never know,
- 54:24Speaker 1: it could be your It could be buckle up and
- 54:27Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it
- 54:29Speaker 1: is Strawberry letter subject talking in his sleep, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that overindulges in everything he does.
- 54:39Speaker 1: He believes in going big in life. If we're at dinner,
- 54:43Speaker 1: he has to invite all of his friends, male and female.
- 54:46Speaker 1: He is a big smoker too. He loves cigars, pipes, weed,
- 54:50Speaker 1: and hookah. And there's a female in town that owns
- 54:53Speaker 1: the smoke shop, so he loves to be a big
- 54:56Speaker 1: shot and spend a lot of money with her. He
- 54:59Speaker 1: really is a trip, and I let him splurge because
- 55:02Speaker 1: he runs two successful shops in town. I'm starting to
- 55:06Speaker 1: see that I need to set limits on him for
- 55:08Speaker 1: his health and his safety. Healthwise, the smoking has him
- 55:12Speaker 1: tired and congested often, so he needs to cut back
- 55:16Speaker 1: as far as his safety is concerned. I'm going to
- 55:20Speaker 1: hurt him if he does not stop all of this
- 55:22Speaker 1: talking in his sleep and mentioning a woman. It started
- 55:26Speaker 1: a month ago, and it was scary the first night
- 55:28Speaker 1: because he shook me and I turned over. His eyes
- 55:31Speaker 1: were closed the whole time he was talking to me.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He was telling me about a woman named Daphanie that
- 55:37Speaker 1: doesn't like his cologne. I started responding, only to realize
- 55:42Speaker 1: he was sleep I went through his phone and didn't
- 55:45Speaker 1: see a daphanee in his phone, in his context or
- 55:48Speaker 1: its Texas, so I let it go here. Lately, he
- 55:51Speaker 1: still mentions Daphanie. It's so weird that he's sang the
- 55:55Speaker 1: same name over so. I think he's talking about the
- 55:58Speaker 1: owner of the smoke shop, and maybe Aphanie is her
- 56:00Speaker 1: middle name. Whoever Daphanie is, she does not like the
- 56:04Speaker 1: way he kisses, and she doesn't like his cologne. I
- 56:08Speaker 1: believe she might be real because he is a sloppy,
- 56:12Speaker 1: wet kisser. I've asked him to seek help for his
- 56:15Speaker 1: dreams and sleepwalking, but he thinks it's because he's exhausted.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I think Daphanie may be wearing him out. Does this
- 56:23Speaker 1: sound normal to you? Do you think he's cheating? You
- 56:27Speaker 1: know what? None of this sounds normal to me, None
- 56:31Speaker 1: of it, None of it makes sense. I think it's
- 56:36Speaker 1: it's for me. It could be the same thing with
- 56:39Speaker 1: your husband. You know this, This sleep talking situation harmless
- 56:45Speaker 1: crazy talk. That's usually what the experts say about sleep
- 56:49Speaker 1: sleep talking. When you talk and you're sleep it doesn't
- 56:51Speaker 1: mean anything. And you're concerned because he keeps mentioning this
- 56:55Speaker 1: one particular person. But like I said, none of this
- 56:58Speaker 1: makes sense to me. You don't seem to be too
- 57:02Speaker 1: too worried about it, especially after you said Daphanie might
- 57:06Speaker 1: be wearing him out. I gotta ask you, do you
- 57:09Speaker 1: really want to get to the bottom of this. I mean,
- 57:11Speaker 1: you're curious enough to write Steve and I and I
- 57:14Speaker 1: know you said you're gonna hurt him concerning talking about Daphanie,
- 57:17Speaker 1: But you haven't even checked to see if the smoke
- 57:19Speaker 1: shop owner's name is really Daphne. I just find that odd,
- 57:23Speaker 1: because just knowing that little piece of the puzzle will
- 57:26Speaker 1: save you a lot of unwanted stress. It'll make you
- 57:29Speaker 1: even more angry at your husband if her name is Daphanie.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But you could try to get to the truth, at
- 57:34Speaker 1: least some of the information about her. You know, in
- 57:40Speaker 1: this case, it could be, you know, because of his
- 57:43Speaker 1: overindulgence in food and smoking all that stuff. It could
- 57:46Speaker 1: be it might be a little more serious than you think.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I agree with you. You should take a visit to
- 57:51Speaker 1: the doctor, gets some sort of professional help could be
- 57:54Speaker 1: needed after you talk to you man, but you won't
- 57:57Speaker 1: know until you talk to him. So I say, let
- 57:59Speaker 1: the investigations start. Let it begin, because you could be
- 58:03Speaker 1: creating a problem where there is none. Most experts say,
- 58:07Speaker 1: like I said, sleep talking is harmless. Steve, Well, here's
- 58:12Speaker 1: my response to the letter. I appreciate Shirley doing some
- 58:14Speaker 1: research saying finding out that most sleep talk is harmless
- 58:19Speaker 1: at all. Like this, you talk in your sleep. See,
- 58:23Speaker 1: we didn't know that. Twenty two years of sitting next
- 58:25Speaker 1: to this wing on the radio, and I just found out.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Well that's probably because Shirley, we don't sleep with you,
- 58:33Speaker 1: so therefore we didn't know it. If you had the
- 58:36Speaker 1: tole us, we don't know. But sleepwalking or sleep talking,
- 58:39Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a problem, but it's gonna
- 58:42Speaker 1: have to stop round me. I don't know what you're doing. Look,
- 58:48Speaker 1: so here's your deal. You married to this guy who
- 58:51Speaker 1: overindulges in everything. He's a big smoker. He likes cigars,
- 58:57Speaker 1: pipe weed, hooker. That's too much. What one do you do, dog?
- 59:07Speaker 1: I'm a cigar guy, but I was a pipe guy first.
- 59:11Speaker 1: But I stopped the pipes because it was too much work,
- 59:14Speaker 1: So I just like the cigars. Now. I have never
- 59:18Speaker 1: smoked weed, not knocking anybody who does. I just that's
- 59:21Speaker 1: one of my things I've never done. And hooker, I
- 59:25Speaker 1: don't understand it. I don't get it. I don't know
- 59:27Speaker 1: how to take the big puss and blow out the
- 59:29Speaker 1: big smoke. But you gotta take it in your lungs
- 59:31Speaker 1: and do that. Not that's what I don't like. I'm
- 59:34Speaker 1: not good at that. So I don't care about smoking.
- 59:37Speaker 1: But he loved, he too, smoked too damn much. He
- 59:41Speaker 1: loves he got a weed, a hooker, and it's a
- 59:44Speaker 1: female in town that owns a smoke shop that he
- 59:47Speaker 1: down that showing out, spending a lot of money with her.
- 59:50Speaker 1: And he's a trip. But you let him splurge because
- 59:53Speaker 1: he runs two successful shops in town. I'm starting to
- 59:57Speaker 1: seat that you need to set some lit it's on him.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: So now I'm curious as to what these limits gonna be.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You say, because you have some health concerns for me,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: The smoking has him tied and congested often, so he
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: needs to cut back. So how are you gonna do it? Though?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I never did hear that plan as far as his
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: safety and concerned. I'm gonna hurt him if he don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: stop talking in his sleep and mentioning a woman. Now
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: started a month ago, and the first night he shook
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: you and woke you up, and you turned over. His
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: eyes were closed the whole time he was talking to him.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: He was telling me about a woman named Daphne that
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: don't like his cologne. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: He hast to go get some help. So he says something,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: he's talking too much. He smoked too much, and he
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: talked too much. And I'm gonna come back and tell
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you we're gonna have him. He don't get the properties.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: All right, Hang on, Steve, Hang on. We'll have part
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strubberry Letters, subject talking in his sleep.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listen, all right,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. Uh, the
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: subject is talking in his sleep. Basically, people were dealing
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: with the woman who to roll in about her husband
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: who overindulgence in smoking. He smokes pipes, he smoked cigars,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he smoked weed, he smoked hookle that's everything. That's everything,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: pretty show. If he can't get his hands on none,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: he gonna get a pack of cigarette. I think the
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: weed is in the hooker. There's a lot, and that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: might not be a cigaret, and this might be fat weed.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: And you was gonna but you're gonna talk to him
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and have him cut back. You didn't mention a plan
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: of having him cut back, because health wise, he's tired,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: he's congesting. He needs to cut back. You now have
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: a plan for that as far as his safety is concerned.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Here the real problem. You have to hurt him if
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: he gonna stop all this talking in his sleep and
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: mitching a woman about a month ago. It was scary
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the first night because he shook me, woke me up.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I turned over. His eyes was closed the whole time
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: he was talking to me. He was telling me about
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: a woman named Daphne that don't like his cologne. I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: started responding, only to realize he was sleep. Then you
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: got him, went through his phone and didn't see a
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Daphne in his contacts attacks so I let it go. U.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: You think he hadn wrote it in that ass Daphne lady.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: You st bad. And then here lately he still mentiones Daphnie,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: and it's weird that he's saying the same name over
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and over. So I think he's talking about the owner
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: of the smoke shop, and maybe Daphne is her middle name.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Whoever Daphne is. She don't like the way he kisses,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and she don't like his cologne. I believe she might
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: be real because he's a sloppy, wet kisser. I've asked
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: him to seek help for his dreams and sleep talking,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: but he thin because he's exhausted. I think daft he
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: may be wearing him out. Does this sound normal to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you or do you think he's cheating? No, it don't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: sound normal to me. Everybody on this show married when
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: they ain't having Anne of us? No, hell no ain't normal.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Why would you even type in the words do you
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: think it's normal? Hell no, they ain't normal. It's abnormal.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: But he got to get some help with this kissing well,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: first of all, the kissing this page and never had
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: corrected your kissing technique by now, it's ridiculous. Once you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: get too complaints about your kissing, you should make the adjustments.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: It ain't hard you sloppy with kisser swallow boy, libelow,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: lightening up, slop all over the place, keep your tongue
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: in her mouth, don't put it all on her making
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: up ball on the bottom of her chin and there think,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: who are you going all over the place? You're licking
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: a plate? You kissing hey him, I can fix this problem.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I know what it is. So anyway, now let's get
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: back to this hid sleep talking dog. Listen to me. Dog,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you have got to go and get yourself some help
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: because you run in your damn mouth. Now I know

- 1:04:30Speaker 1: You got to get some help food, because whoever Daphne is.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: It's like the Rolling Stones song I miss you. You've
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: been stand in my sleep, You've been hunting me in
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: my dream Oh I miss you child, one of the
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: greatest Rolling Stones songs ever bought. I bought a Rolling
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Stone album because of that song. I got right star

- 1:05:32Speaker 1: saying it. I don't know what to tell you. I
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you, but Daphinie is not
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: gonna be listed in the phone. Dafinie is under Doc
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Vader or something like that. Still still undas under Dolphin
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: or something like that. Or it spelled uh uh back

- 1:06:26Speaker 1: the black book, you didn't know the code. Now you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: call infrapad if you want to, and I would write
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the phone number backwards and just go the first three
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and then the last phoe. You don't understand them? Something?

- 1:10:43Speaker 1: overnight by yourself for a million dollars, that's the question,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: or would you do it for ten thousand dollars if

- 1:10:55Speaker 1: by my friend. I'm gonna get this big let me finished.

- 1:11:03Speaker 1: to recent survey, some people don't agree with you, Tommy.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: According to recent survey, fifty six percent of people chose
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to stay in a haunted house with their friends for
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the ten thousand dollars instead of staying in a haunted
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: house to long for a million dollars. What does it
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: mean when I'm in the haunted house, I might we'll
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: get the million. Yeah, I'm want to meet but for
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: a million scared? You can stay in there for a

- 1:12:38Speaker 1: been there, Goes. I'm I'm in there with being black.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I've been black alone all my life. Scared. That's scared
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you with not worried about that house, and you did
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: that for free, like Steve said, he but you guys

- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Uh huh instead of a million. I'm going to get
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: the meal because they're scared that. Yeah, that's some people
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: that think that. Tut as well. They like right now
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: right now, me as who I am today, I'm not
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: staying in the Hearttt house for meals. But the old
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, we'd have been up in that man making
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: cupcakes for everybody, ghost cupcakes. I'd have been the ghost,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: the host with the most, host with the most for

- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I probably have to
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: have my friends. I'd be too scared. I'll do it
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: a million dollars y'all. Yo, yeah, card I can believe
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: you would do a car of being their fighting ghosts.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Ain't nobody scared? Let me get this real quick. Scared,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Give me some garlic. Yeah, that's for vampire shot to nine.

- 1:14:38Speaker 1: not even like scary movies. Uh, you know what I mean?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Dead people gonna be in the house when I lead
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: a nick You don't be laying around you all the church?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: So as ye all right? Coming up in twenty twenty
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: all right? So? An evil group of anonymous trolls viewed
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: racist slurs and Nazi memes on Twitter. This was just
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: hours after billionaire Elon Muska took over the network, raising
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: fears that his pledge of unrestricted free speech could fuel
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: a new wave of online hate. The flood of racist
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: posts was among the most prominent signs of how Twitter
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: had changed in the first hours of ownership. But those
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: who were expecting even bigger changes, such as the restoration
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: of former President Donald Trump's account and the layoff of
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: hundreds of employees, will be put off for just a
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: little while longer. But he did go in there and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: clean house with the executives and stuff. He fired a
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: lot of them, Yeah, fired a lot of them. He
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: went to their headquarters. He went to the headquarters, walked
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: in the building with a saint, and he had a
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: meeting with First. I didn't understand that. I saw that.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: But this hate he you know, spreading hate online that yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: it's not cool. It's not it's really not no, not cool.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: You know the type it not to say it to
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: me though, that's difference. I don't say, yeah, what well,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: he we are such a see me, recognize me, honor me,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: noticed me, society that Twitter gonna thrive. I stopped using.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: If I was like, yeah, cancel your account, that's true,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: would be good. Now, yep, they follow it because Donald
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Trump would foul on Twitter. He really was all right.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up in
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play a round
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: of would you rather? Right after this you're listening to
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: morning show? All right, guys, time for would you rather
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the Halloween addition? In honor of today being Halloween? All right?
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Would you rather you just boom? I just foodoo yo boo?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I was so frightened thinking in your boots. I know
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: you were, all right? Would you rather eat candy corn
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: for a week or eat gummy worms for a week?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Candy corn, candy corn, candy corn, Yeah, greatest, greatest Halloween
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: candy love candy corn. I think I might like candy
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: gummy bands? Don't the worm? No? I very much in
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: my teeth? All right? Would you rather trigger treating Candy
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Man's building or in Mike Myers hood? Which one? Which
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: one is Mike Myers Halloween? That's the one? Halloween? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Halloween nightmare? Would yeah? Candy Man you know what he's
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: gonna do? He black? Yeah, candy Man is black, Steve,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you know candy Man? Right? Come on? So I'm killing
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: him on Mike? Whoever started tripping with me? I don't say.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Race has nothing to do, nothing to do with this.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: If you a ghost, if you that didn't you that
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: this is fun? I'm not sure I'm trick treating candy
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: man buildings fun so bad? All right? Would you rather
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: have a midnight barbecue in a cemetery or drive a
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: hearse for a whole year? I can't do that a
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: whole year? Yeah, we we find it up to barbecue. Yeah,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: a cemetery, fin up. I'm not driving a hearse though yet?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: All right? All right? Would what you got on when
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: you get out? That hers? Anybody gonna like it? It's
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: about what you weary. But I'm flipping them ribs in
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: that cemetery though, I'm flipping them at night. They go
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: through drive throughs. No mo, you can't pull up at
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: your bank, but you can get an H O B
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: lane though, because you got people get everywhere faster. It
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: just said two people, that's all. That's all I said.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: They gotta be alive and say that and say that.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: All right. Last one, would you rather have a pet that?
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Or would you rather have a pet king cobra snake?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Which one? O? Yeah? Get out? That's the Halloween edition
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: of would you rather? For today? Happy? I'm taking the cobra.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I'm going with the cobra you live a little right.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day, and we'll
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: be back to close out the show with Steve Harvey
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: closing remarks right after this. You're listening show, all right, guys,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: this Halloween still some fun day, fun day, it is Halloween,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: but we gotta be serious about voting, too, very serious.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I don't care none about Halloween, but I do care
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: deeply about this voting and this me term election, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: the fact that I want to remind people that we
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: are under attack. We are under attack with policy, we
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: are under attack with people, and man, they are just
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: about the business of destroying your right to vote, accessibility
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: to vote, the difficulty in voting. They're passing laws where
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: it's legal to pass our water to people in line.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: When they've done everything and their power to create long lines.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: They've reduced the number of polling stations, They've taken up
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: mailboxes in your neighborhoods. They've changed it so now the
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: lines will be longer if you wait to voting day,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: because there's less polls to vote at. And now they
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: want to make it as uncomfortable as they can for
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you to vote. Who does that? Man, what is this
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: party doing? It's called voter suppression. And they need voter
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: suppression because they can enact the policies that they want to.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: The minority wants to control the majority. So now that
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: they have the majority control in Supreme Justice. Now that
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: they have that, guess what happens, Roe versus way gets overturned.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Now a woman doesn't have the choice with what to
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: do with her body. So so a few men then
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: got together and decided, y'all shouldn't have the right to
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: do what you want to do with your body. That's
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: the minority controlling the majority. I mean, why are men
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: even voting on this anyway? Not a single man has
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the ability to produce a single life. That job should
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: be totally up to women. It's crazy, man. Now, I
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: don't agree with everything on the far left, and I
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: don't agree with everything on the far right, but my goodness,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: the far right can't tell the far left what to do. Period. Look, man,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: we've got to vote, y'all, and we've got to stop
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: this attitude that I ain't going down there voting. I
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: ain't gonna do that. Stop this complacency. We can't afford that.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: So what you don't feel good about voting, How good
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you're gonna feel when they enact the policies that's gonna
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: come about because you didn't vote. What's wrong with you?
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: You're sitting there? Man? I don't like getting up going
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: to work every single day, but guess what I have
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to do it. There's a lot of things in life
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing, that you don't want to do,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: that you have to do. It's called discipline, and we've
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: got to get disciplined about voting, y'all. And black men,
