- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Real glad about it too, you know. Um,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I hope that God always keeps me in the frame
- 2:20Speaker 1: of frame of mind to try to be sharing and
- 2:24Speaker 1: try to be motivational and un even when it's not
- 2:29Speaker 1: felt or wanted by some people. I have people around
- 2:32Speaker 1: me who seem to not benefited off anything, and I
- 2:37Speaker 1: can sit with them and talk to them or take
- 2:40Speaker 1: meetings with them to try to encourage them, and for
- 2:43Speaker 1: whatever reason, you know, they want to just keep going
- 2:45Speaker 1: the way they're going. When you run into people like that,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you have to pray for them. You have to just
- 2:50Speaker 1: hope that one day that they release the chains on
- 2:54Speaker 1: their mind and open up your mind to a new
- 2:56Speaker 1: way of thinking. A couple of things I wanted to
- 2:59Speaker 1: go over with it. I want you all today in
- 3:01Speaker 1: terms of motivation. I want you to be aware of
- 3:06Speaker 1: statements or old sayings that have been created that you
- 3:11Speaker 1: hear over the course of time, and you may be
- 3:15Speaker 1: applying them to your life. And I want you to
- 3:18Speaker 1: be careful of some of them because some of these
- 3:20Speaker 1: old sayings, man, are not designed for people who are dreamers,
- 3:27Speaker 1: are not designed for people who have any aspirations of
- 3:32Speaker 1: being extraordinary. These are not designs or sayings that people
- 3:38Speaker 1: who want to be extremely successful at anything or have
- 3:42Speaker 1: high aspirations to put these sayings into your life. Let
- 3:47Speaker 1: me give you an example. Statistics say that's it. That's
- 3:54Speaker 1: the one who want you to be careful about statistics,
- 3:58Speaker 1: say be very careful of stats. When a person says,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you know statistics, say one out of every what see,
- 4:10Speaker 1: listen to me. These are things that sound like they're good,
- 4:13Speaker 1: sound solid advice, but they're setting you up for failure
- 4:18Speaker 1: and you can't adhere yourself to a lot of these
- 4:22Speaker 1: sayings that's been passed down from generations and it's not scripture.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It ain't in the scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's
- 4:32Speaker 1: just some people, and a lot of people who have
- 4:35Speaker 1: lost have come up with these sayings to justify why
- 4:40Speaker 1: they keep losing or why they lost. When I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: arst got started in the business, there were more stand
- 4:49Speaker 1: ups around now than it is today because the comedy
- 4:51Speaker 1: boom in eighty four eighty five was it was gaining
- 4:58Speaker 1: a lot of momentums, comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The
- 5:02Speaker 1: statistic that a guy told me I told him I
- 5:06Speaker 1: wanted to be on the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The guy said, one out of every two thousand comedians
- 5:19Speaker 1: ever make it to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when
- 5:25Speaker 1: he told us that, some of the comedians in the
- 5:28Speaker 1: room went, well, wow, man, oh that's rough. Because a
- 5:33Speaker 1: guy had also said that there was approximately six thousand
- 5:38Speaker 1: comedians in the country at that time. I don't know
- 5:41Speaker 1: if it was true. I'm just telling you guy, without
- 5:43Speaker 1: the sputing numbers, I have no idea how many it was.
- 5:47Speaker 1: But he said one in every two thousand will make
- 5:49Speaker 1: it to the Tonight Show. And he let the air
- 5:52Speaker 1: out of everybody in the room button be so every
- 5:56Speaker 1: night before I went on stage, I used to do
- 5:58Speaker 1: this right here. But Bampa da bada la la la
- 6:02Speaker 1: da bada Pampa ba la la la da. That was
- 6:07Speaker 1: the tonight theme song. I was young, opening act know
- 6:12Speaker 1: where near Hollywood, didn't. I was in Cleveland telling jokes
- 6:16Speaker 1: at one nights. But that was my thing because I
- 6:19Speaker 1: was bent and determined that if it's one in two thousand, okay,
- 6:23Speaker 1: why don't I just be the one? Be careful when
- 6:26Speaker 1: people say so statistics say because they are set up
- 6:30Speaker 1: to ful failure. If you're gonna adhere to him, see
- 6:33Speaker 1: that one in so many, it wonn't so many people
- 6:35Speaker 1: win the lottery. But if you don't play the lottery,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be the one to hit. Now when
- 6:39Speaker 1: the dude hit you go while he was lucky, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: he played. Here's another one. Maybe it's not meant to
- 6:46Speaker 1: be a right let's go one step further. I guess
- 6:50Speaker 1: it wasn't the Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God
- 6:55Speaker 1: for something you may have not done yourself because you
- 7:00Speaker 1: didn't get the proper education, because you didn't do the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things you were supposed to do, because you didn't stay
- 7:07Speaker 1: to the task because you quit, turned around and with
- 7:10Speaker 1: the other way. Now, maybe it's not It wasn't the
- 7:13Speaker 1: lord's will. These are all statements that sound like sound advice,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but they ain't all the time, got nothing to do
- 7:22Speaker 1: with you. Stop letting these old fogy sayings get in
- 7:28Speaker 1: your way of what can happen in your life. Don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: put all your eggs in one basket? Wow, who came
- 7:37Speaker 1: up with this? Who came over with the If you
- 7:41Speaker 1: don't pour all your efforts into one thing, how are
- 7:44Speaker 1: you gonna be great at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Michael Jordans, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had not played basketball
- 7:54Speaker 1: sun up to sundown, Magic Johnson didn't go to Michigan
- 7:58Speaker 1: to get an education. Lad Burry didn't go to Indiana
- 8:02Speaker 1: to get an education. These casts was balling. Michael Jordan
- 8:07Speaker 1: didn't go to North Carolina get an education. They went
- 8:10Speaker 1: to play ball. They went to do one thing. Tiger
- 8:14Speaker 1: Woods didn't go to Stanford to get an education. He
- 8:17Speaker 1: went to play golf. Soon as he got good enough,
- 8:20Speaker 1: he'd gone. These are guys that put all their eggs
- 8:25Speaker 1: in one basket. See what's what's cool with putting all
- 8:29Speaker 1: your eggs in one basket, is you now can maximize
- 8:31Speaker 1: your effort and laser beam what you're doing. Your problem
- 8:36Speaker 1: is all you gotta do is make sure what is
- 8:39Speaker 1: your basket made out of. If your basket is made
- 8:44Speaker 1: out of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then guess what,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that's a good basket. I'm dumping all mine in it
- 8:52Speaker 1: because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 8:55Speaker 1: telling jokes one thing, one thing only. Even when he
- 8:58Speaker 1: got ugly and I was living in a car, I
- 9:00Speaker 1: never quit telling them jokes. Man. I just kept believing
- 9:03Speaker 1: that them jokes was gonna pay me one day, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'll be dog gone if it didn't. I ain't take
- 9:08Speaker 1: no time off. Go work at to Walmart, give me
- 9:11Speaker 1: a job, go back to Forward and beg for my
- 9:13Speaker 1: job back. Hey, man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:21Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God. What you're tripping for,
- 9:28Speaker 1: You're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 9:36Speaker 1: got to believe that God could do what he say
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna do because he didn't done it for others, he'll
- 9:40Speaker 1: most certainly do it for you. Be careful of these
- 9:43Speaker 1: sayings that's out here, that's aligned by losers and people
- 9:47Speaker 1: to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this
- 9:50Speaker 1: stuff to your life. And it ain't got nothing to
- 9:52Speaker 1: do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up. All right, Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show. Good morning everybody. You're about to listen
- 10:03Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is a line
- 10:06Speaker 1: king weekend. I have no idea where you are, but
- 10:09Speaker 1: it is hot everywhere. Good morning, Good morning Shae. Happy Monday.

- 10:22Speaker 1: You hot man? Jake, Jake, you're too loudly? He had
- 10:29Speaker 1: a hard weekend. Everything Well, when you've been you had
- 10:32Speaker 1: the weekend he had everything is too Yeah, so he
- 10:36Speaker 1: had one of those everything too loud weekend last but
- 10:40Speaker 1: not listens and King of pranks. What's up timing? When
- 10:43Speaker 1: you hot? Man? It's hot, Jail, it's so hot they
- 10:46Speaker 1: say chickens are laying bald eggs. Baby, it's hot. It's
- 10:51Speaker 1: hot baby like that? Yeah, man, it is a hot weekend, man,
- 10:56Speaker 1: But Junior, you had the hotest weekend. Is there any
- 11:00Speaker 1: part of it you can tell? Why are y'all even talking?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Why are you here? I should have took off. I'm through.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I can't even believe. First of all, why would y'all
- 11:11Speaker 1: let me go down to Vegas and make irrigs possible
- 11:13Speaker 1: positions for why? Why? And I want to say a
- 11:19Speaker 1: shout out to all my friends y'all they ain't good.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I have a good group of people. I do not
- 11:25Speaker 1: have a good group of friends. I realized that I
- 11:27Speaker 1: don't have it. Did you make new friends? Jay Jay?
- 11:31Speaker 1: I met so many new people, But the fact that
- 11:33Speaker 1: my friends that I went, they encouraged everything I'm through,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm through so a lot of sy I did not.
- 11:42Speaker 1: If I should have taken off today, I shouldn't be.
- 11:46Speaker 1: You shouldn't even talking to me now I'm in the studio.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Shut leaking to me. I got a whole battle of water.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I've been drinking water. Let me ask you one question, Junior,
- 11:55Speaker 1: did you do anything Invaders that you need to pray about?
- 11:59Speaker 1: I didny twenty things I know for show I need
- 12:06Speaker 1: to pray about. And then what you know what. I
- 12:08Speaker 1: didn't even think I was the type of person. But
- 12:13Speaker 1: I am, Oh you did you did something? I'm that
- 12:19Speaker 1: type of question. Some of the things you did, some
- 12:23Speaker 1: of the things you did, did they involve anybody? Anybody
- 12:27Speaker 1: putting anything like oils or anything on another person? Was
- 12:32Speaker 1: two days? Jay? Ain't like two days? Two days of oils?
- 12:40Speaker 1: You're right? Yeah, you a time. Yeah, I'm sticking right now.
- 12:46Speaker 1: But the fact that the man you and Jay weren't
- 12:48Speaker 1: even that teen. How y'all know we just two days?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm I'm sticking. I'll be honest with you. I haven't
- 12:58Speaker 1: even faid. Oh no, I can't fresh off the flight.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Oh you stick in parts of your body? You shouldn't
- 13:04Speaker 1: be sticky day. I'm not gonna lie tell you and
- 13:08Speaker 1: time me again. Yes, yes, I am, I'm sticky. I'm
- 13:13Speaker 1: sitting on parts of my body is that's supposed to
- 13:15Speaker 1: be in the front. Did you see Elvis? Why you
- 13:22Speaker 1: were there? You know what time? I'm gonna tell your starts.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Me and Elvis hung out, Oh my god, Friday night.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But but ahead the guitar. All right, hang on, guys,
- 13:32Speaker 1: we're gonna find out more about everybody's weekends when we
- 13:35Speaker 1: come back, but I don't think it's gonna be as
- 13:37Speaker 1: interesting as Junior. Yeah, also, Jay saw the Lion King.
- 13:41Speaker 1: We'll talk about that coming up to thirty two after
- 13:44Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this you're listening to show. Well, Junior,
- 13:50Speaker 1: we're gonna get to you in a moment to finish
- 13:53Speaker 1: up about your crazy birthday weekend in Vegas? Should I
- 13:57Speaker 1: be embarrassed? And I wasn't even there? Should I be in?
- 14:00Speaker 1: There's four years? I should be in Shirley. I don't
- 14:05Speaker 1: even know how you talking about. You do know some
- 14:10Speaker 1: people go down there and wake up on Sunday and
- 14:12Speaker 1: can't even don't remember the fact that they got man,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you can't remember? Yes, yes, well you know you were
- 14:18Speaker 1: gonna say they don't have the liver remember those stories.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I don't have I don't have a liver. And secondly,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I did wake up with people I did not know
- 14:29Speaker 1: I did all of this. Well, at least did you
- 14:32Speaker 1: enjoy yourself? Did you have a good time? Well? I
- 14:34Speaker 1: don't know. I can't remember. Okay, all I know is
- 14:36Speaker 1: they was there, We leave each other. She said, oh,
- 14:38Speaker 1: well that's good bye. But it's supposed to stay in Vegas.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Should that I didn't know that, but I'm on a
- 14:45Speaker 1: radio show. I gotta tell you all right, So Jay,
- 14:49Speaker 1: can you can you give us a little enlightenment before
- 14:51Speaker 1: we get to this is the third installment of The
- 14:55Speaker 1: Lion King. First of all, the Lion King, the cartoon,
- 14:58Speaker 1: Lion King, the play, now like King, the movie. I've
- 15:00Speaker 1: seen every last one of them. Tremendous. It's great, great,
- 15:04Speaker 1: it's great Timmy and Junior. It was fantastic. It's much
- 15:09Speaker 1: better than the animation. Yes, I don't know who directed
- 15:13Speaker 1: these animals to do what these animals did, but they
- 15:16Speaker 1: had these animals acting ass Okay, no problem. But there
- 15:20Speaker 1: was one problem. What I love Beyonce. I'm a big
- 15:25Speaker 1: Beyonce fan, you know I'm but it just sounded weird
- 15:30Speaker 1: when she came into the movie. It's like I kept
- 15:33Speaker 1: thinking about dream Girls. I didn't know what just was.
- 15:37Speaker 1: It still sounded like she had that dream Girls voice.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Donald Glover did a great day. It's a great movie.
- 15:43Speaker 1: She didn't destroy the movie, but the movie was fantastic. Man, Yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 1: he's a bad boy. Man. It's such a superstar. She's
- 15:53Speaker 1: such a superstar. She has like James Earl Jones is
- 15:58Speaker 1: an iconic Joe hasn't a amazed man. Yeah, amazing. Yeah. Well,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm glad you liked it. I like to kill the movie. No,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you gotta go see it. She did a great jobs
- 16:08Speaker 1: out props out too, all right, well, good, good good.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Any kids didn't say a damn word. I was the
- 16:14Speaker 1: most amazing thing. They did not one word at these kids.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I don't know. They won't pop something, the popcorn and
- 16:21Speaker 1: they drank or something, but they didn't open their mouths
- 16:23Speaker 1: one time. I'm gonna see it today. I'm saying today. Man, today,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I will too, and I will say this one hundred
- 16:33Speaker 1: eighty five million dollars what chang? I mean the critics.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You know, the critics didn't give it such great reviews.
- 16:43Speaker 1: A hundred and eighty five million dollars for the Lion King.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I'm smelling Lion King too. You smell it. Smell it
- 16:50Speaker 1: Lion King too, Yeah, making it one of the best
- 16:53Speaker 1: openings ever. I mean, the critics were really pretty harsh
- 16:57Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, lion came too simple become all right,
- 17:02Speaker 1: So we're going to switch gears here and go to Iowa,
- 17:05Speaker 1: Iowa's former director of the Department of Human Services, who
- 17:08Speaker 1: was recently fired guys over his love for Tupoc. Okay,
- 17:13Speaker 1: get this. His name is Jerry Foxhoven and he's a
- 17:16Speaker 1: sixty six year old white man that loves Tupac's music.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So here's what got him fire. He emailed over forty
- 17:24Speaker 1: three hundred agency employees the lyrics to a Tupac song.
- 17:28Speaker 1: The very next workday, the Governor of Iowa demanded his resignation.
- 17:33Speaker 1: This was not the first time he'd done something like this.
- 17:36Speaker 1: During his two years as director of the Iowa Department
- 17:38Speaker 1: of Human Services, Foxhoven send his co workers at least
- 17:42Speaker 1: three Tupoc themed emails per week, and the day before
- 17:46Speaker 1: what would have been Tupac's forty eighth birthday, Foxhoven emailed
- 17:50Speaker 1: the entire staff and told them to honor this special
- 17:53Speaker 1: occasion by listening to Tupac's music. He also created Tupac
- 17:58Speaker 1: Fridays in the office and once brought in cookies with
- 18:01Speaker 1: thug life written on them. I love Tupot. You get
- 18:08Speaker 1: fired because for your love of Tupac. Yeah, no, he
- 18:12Speaker 1: shouldn't get fired. I don't think he should get fired.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Y'all eat these Tupot cookies. I tell you. Jacky Jackson
- 18:23Speaker 1: that's a whole different thing. Man. Why would you fire
- 18:27Speaker 1: the man over tupots? Yeah, you can't over to pot great? Yeah,
- 18:32Speaker 1: Park is a great artist, right, Yeah, I trust men.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I know. I listened to him a week I can't
- 18:38Speaker 1: wait to hear what you surely don't ask me. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: can't wait. And the other question you need? Did you
- 18:46Speaker 1: get a tattoo? Jay? Jay? I was close. I was
- 18:51Speaker 1: in the tattoo shot. But when the person before me
- 18:56Speaker 1: was getting a tattooed for me, what was you gonna
- 19:00Speaker 1: get tattooed? I it was gonna be something Chinese, but
- 19:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I couldn't be sure because you can't yet.
- 19:09Speaker 1: But they had one. Okay, now you say yes to this.
- 19:13Speaker 1: You may not be friends. You didn't get a tattoo,
- 19:17Speaker 1: but you were in the shop, so you were less. Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Any piercing, Yeah, pier No, I didn't get Surely I
- 19:24Speaker 1: didn't get anything pierced because I didn't get anything perced.
- 19:27Speaker 1: But I'm telling you what I did this weekend. You
- 19:29Speaker 1: you still would not be friends. It doesn't matter what
- 19:33Speaker 1: I did. Surely you've been shamed to me. Sure you
- 19:36Speaker 1: would act like you don't even know me. Okay, woman. Question,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I got another question. I was any did you film anything?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Was a recording? There's a filming of me falling in
- 19:47Speaker 1: the tube. Don't ask how I got in the tub.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Don't ask who filmed it. But there is a filming
- 19:53Speaker 1: of me falling in a tub. One more it's question
- 19:59Speaker 1: another question, my question. Who your knowledge? Okay, did you
- 20:04Speaker 1: father any children? This week? Yes? Your knowledge, Shirley. I'm
- 20:09Speaker 1: expecting a call probably six years now me six Shirley,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you know I didn't have any kids. Are you telling
- 20:21Speaker 1: you there's gonna be a phone call? Is by six years?
- 20:24Speaker 1: And he said, this is yours. I did last question
- 20:27Speaker 1: that I did. What nationality? What nationality? Asian? That's why
- 20:33Speaker 1: you're getting come out? Do you? Are you putting together?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Are you putting together? Yes? What? Okay? This is hey Hanson?

- 22:14Speaker 1: This is clear. You should have heard me before I
- 22:16Speaker 1: took the medicine. Oh my god, you don't feel congested
- 22:20Speaker 1: at all at all. Okay, man, were donna get down.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Let me give you some complaint here. Here's what we

- 22:50Speaker 1: But Nicki Minaj would teach you how to walk with
- 22:54Speaker 1: you're bigger behind. Thank you, go ahead, I had, I said,
- 23:03Speaker 1: nick im you said licking. I'm sorry? Did I say licking?
- 23:14Speaker 1: I can't wait to me linking? Nicky does not belong here.
- 23:19Speaker 1: She doesn't belong to this shop, okay, all I asked
- 23:23Speaker 1: to stay after service to be entertained by the Ladies
- 23:25Speaker 1: barber Shop quartet known as the Brawls Baritones. They'll be
- 23:30Speaker 1: singing the ses. They'll be singing some of their hit songs.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You haven't even heard the songs. Baritones'll be what you
- 23:47Speaker 1: didn't hear the song? Let me let me name some
- 23:50Speaker 1: of the cuts they're gonna be doing. They'll be singings
- 23:52Speaker 1: from their song and their album, a song by the
- 23:55Speaker 1: name of Way Down Younger. They'll be singing that you
- 23:58Speaker 1: gotta hear. They also do a jazzed up rendition of
- 24:06Speaker 1: swing low, Oh my god when they hit that, and
- 24:09Speaker 1: last but not least a jazzed up a jazz up
- 24:15Speaker 1: So it don't mean the thing if you don't let
- 24:18Speaker 1: him hang. I mean you have got brother from the
- 24:29Speaker 1: three cut album. Go right ahead with all right here,
- 24:33Speaker 1: we are asking that our sister, she read a Womac, I,
- 24:38Speaker 1: use the aging app on her three kids. This might
- 24:42Speaker 1: help us sign out who exactly these kids dad is
- 24:45Speaker 1: here if we put that age app on them kids.
- 24:49Speaker 1: She's scared to use the app because she don't want
- 24:51Speaker 1: to get the truth. I just want to let y'all
- 24:53Speaker 1: know that we are trying to get Shariada Womac to
- 24:55Speaker 1: use the aging app so we can see exactly who
- 24:58Speaker 1: they dad is. Excuse me, uh diack and death chair.
- 25:02Speaker 1: May I have have I have an announcement somewhat right here,
- 25:07Speaker 1: right baby, go ahead, this is where you coming for announcement.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Speaking of the face app that everybody was on last week,
- 25:15Speaker 1: whoever sent me the picture of Morgan Freeman young and
- 25:20Speaker 1: old and the picture was the same pure it was
- 25:23Speaker 1: the same picture, looked exactly the same. I just want
- 25:25Speaker 1: you all to know I'm saying this before the church.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I did not appreciate that. Wait a minute, now do
- 25:33Speaker 1: you have to do you have a younger picture? That
- 25:38Speaker 1: is not all I know? That is not the point, Deacon,
- 25:43Speaker 1: carry on, please that all I've known Morgan came out
- 25:51Speaker 1: around the people who will wait, people who went there,
- 25:57Speaker 1: people who are weighed too much camouflage. We can still
- 26:00Speaker 1: see you, big ass with meeting meeting. Who do you
- 26:11Speaker 1: think you're all right? Let's see, Yeah, this is this
- 26:19Speaker 1: one right here. I can't, I can't. I can't deal
- 26:21Speaker 1: with this one. Listen, Uh, somebody needs to talk to
- 26:24Speaker 1: brother Myron Daniels. He said he was having phone sex
- 26:29Speaker 1: and now he believed he has hearing aids. Somebody has
- 26:34Speaker 1: to talk to this food please, brother, Brother Myron Daniels
- 26:43Speaker 1: was having phone sex and now for some reason he
- 26:46Speaker 1: thinks he has hearing aids. I don't understand what's wrong
- 26:49Speaker 1: with him. Lord, anyway, go ahead now, okay, more entertainment
- 27:01Speaker 1: for you after service. If you would like the stage
- 27:03Speaker 1: to be entertained, there's more entertainment service for you all
- 27:07Speaker 1: as to stay up the service right after the Brothers's
- 27:10Speaker 1: Baritones performed right what right after the brother's baritones before
- 27:19Speaker 1: you'll be entertained. But the capre cloggers, I mean, you
- 27:23Speaker 1: have the the pre cloggers. You have got the CDs
- 27:31Speaker 1: ladies dance, I'm telling you man, when the highstep, it's unbelievable.
- 27:36Speaker 1: The pre cloggers will be women who fill up pay yes,
- 27:44Speaker 1: your different sizes, but they will be dancing. Yes, yes,
- 27:49Speaker 1: all right, listen, there's a problem here. There's a new
- 27:53Speaker 1: challenge that we have to stop. The shouting at white
- 27:56Speaker 1: folkst church. Challenge has to stop black people going in
- 27:59Speaker 1: white folks church shouting and scanning them. That's not right,
- 28:02Speaker 1: y'all stop doing that. The shouting at white folks church.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Challenge to stop Wow people churches and it be so
- 28:16Speaker 1: calm in there, and and black people doing and just
- 28:18Speaker 1: break out shouting and just scaning white people. Stop. So
- 28:22Speaker 1: what they do with you? How they doing it? Walking?
- 28:25Speaker 1: They walk in it okay, the church is quiet, right,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and they walk in speaking in tongues which throw a
- 28:31Speaker 1: white people when they hit that, and then they go
- 28:40Speaker 1: into the shakes, right, and it's really scared white people.
- 28:45Speaker 1: So we want y'all to stop stop. I mean, imagine
- 28:50Speaker 1: you in a white church and somebody black and it's
- 28:56Speaker 1: frightening that clear a p it will. I believe you
- 29:03Speaker 1: all right, thank you guys for those church announcements. I
- 29:06Speaker 1: think we appreciate her coming up at the top of
- 29:10Speaker 1: the hour Entertainment news and then our national news update
- 29:14Speaker 1: with miss Anne Trip right after this you're listening to show. Well. Uh,
- 29:22Speaker 1: I didn't want to start the morning off like this,
- 29:24Speaker 1: but we have to have to give our condolences out
- 29:27Speaker 1: to the family of our very own family member, Uh,
- 29:31Speaker 1: Monica Barnes. We call her, of course, Mississippi Monica. She's
- 29:34Speaker 1: an executive producer of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Um,
- 29:38Speaker 1: she lost her father on Thursday, I believe of last week.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And yeah, our prayers and condolences of course going out
- 29:48Speaker 1: to her family, to her, to her family, her mom,
- 29:51Speaker 1: her brother Glennis, everyone in that family. I've talked to
- 29:54Speaker 1: her every day. Yeah, me too, of course, did y Yeah, man,
- 30:00Speaker 1: we all do. Yeah. It is the toughest. There's nothing
- 30:05Speaker 1: in the world compared to, you know, losing a parent,
- 30:09Speaker 1: a parent, right, and I think it has really affected
- 30:12Speaker 1: us personally. I mean, I think Tommy, you lost your
- 30:15Speaker 1: father while we have all worked together. I think Carla
- 30:19Speaker 1: lost hers. Of course, I lost my mom a couple
- 30:21Speaker 1: of years ago, and now Monica has lost her father. Uh,
- 30:25Speaker 1: you know, so just our prayers and everything, you know,
- 30:29Speaker 1: you know, we love you and we're praying for you,
- 30:32Speaker 1: and um, you know, take as much time as you
- 30:34Speaker 1: need and yeah, yeah, this is a tough. Yeah, this
- 30:39Speaker 1: is a tough man. I mean, I stopped my weekend.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I just at the caller, you know, and you didn't answer,
- 30:45Speaker 1: but she did taket me back. Yeah, she needed that.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And it's understandable when people don't reach out over and
- 30:51Speaker 1: they don't pick up the phone. You know, we get it,
- 30:53Speaker 1: we know absolutely, you know. You know what you know
- 30:55Speaker 1: when it really gets tough is after yeah, rule and
- 31:00Speaker 1: a couple of weeks gone by, so all the people
- 31:02Speaker 1: that have checked on you, they're gone now, and then
- 31:05Speaker 1: that reality sits. The hardest part for me, Timmy is
- 31:09Speaker 1: like you want to share something with your parents and
- 31:12Speaker 1: something good happens to you. No, man, let me call mom,
- 31:15Speaker 1: let me call dad, and then you know, boom, they're
- 31:17Speaker 1: not there. Yeah, you know that really hits you. Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I still think about my mom every single every day,
- 31:24Speaker 1: every single day, and I have my parents. I don't
- 31:26Speaker 1: even think about that. Jay, that's crazy because if you
- 31:29Speaker 1: cherish every moment, Yeah, what happens, great, I still have
- 31:33Speaker 1: them to call, but I call you guys, and I
- 31:36Speaker 1: don't even realize that your parents, your parents are gone. Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 1: she'll get through it. But it's gonna be a tough road,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but you'll get through it. You get stronger, you know,
- 31:47Speaker 1: you get stronger. But yeah, that that that that ache,
- 31:50Speaker 1: that pain is that that doesn't go away. It's like
- 31:52Speaker 1: a hole in your chest. Man, It's the worst feeling
- 31:55Speaker 1: every end. Yeah no, no, yeah, So yeah, saying all that,
- 32:00Speaker 1: we love you, man, We absolutely love you. Again, take
- 32:03Speaker 1: as much time as you need. We completely get it
- 32:06Speaker 1: and understand where you are. All right, all right, so
- 32:11Speaker 1: we're gonna move on here, as difficult as it is,
- 32:15Speaker 1: but we are going to move on. You guys are
- 32:18Speaker 1: familiar with the face app, right, I mean we just
- 32:21Speaker 1: we talked about it last Yeah right, Well yeah, Tommy,
- 32:26Speaker 1: you use a face app last week and your pictures
- 32:28Speaker 1: are posted on our Steve Harvey FM Instagram page. Face app,
- 32:32Speaker 1: of course, is that smartphone app that allows you to
- 32:35Speaker 1: apply filters on a picture and make yourself look older. Well,
- 32:39Speaker 1: cybersecurity experts have raised several red flags about face app.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Here's why. It's made by Wireless Lab. It's a small
- 32:46Speaker 1: company based in Russia, and according to its terms and conditions,
- 32:50Speaker 1: your photos could be used in unexpected ways. Faceapps privacy
- 32:54Speaker 1: policy notes its affiliates and service providers may transfer information
- 32:58Speaker 1: that we collect about you, including personal information, across borders
- 33:03Speaker 1: and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or
- 33:06Speaker 1: jurisdictions around the world. So basically, over one hundred and
- 33:09Speaker 1: fifty million people have downloaded the faith apt and have
- 33:12Speaker 1: given the app to the power to use their pictures
- 33:15Speaker 1: and names for any purpose that wishes, for as long
- 33:18Speaker 1: as it desires. That is kind of scary, so just
- 33:21Speaker 1: be aware of that when you do that. Okay, right,
- 33:24Speaker 1: all right, No, I didn't do it either. All right, Jay,
- 33:27Speaker 1: it's time to move on. All right, everybody, It's time
- 33:29Speaker 1: for the news with miss Antrip. Thanks Jay, Good morning, everybody.
- 33:32Speaker 1: This is Antrip puts the news. President Trump's doubling down
- 33:35Speaker 1: on his attacks against four minority congresswomen with his go
- 33:38Speaker 1: back to where you came from type comments, now that
- 33:41Speaker 1: his approval rating among Republicans is soaring at seventy two
- 33:45Speaker 1: percent according to a recent Royds Ipsos poll. In fact,
- 33:48Speaker 1: the presidents now insisting that they apologize to the United
- 33:51Speaker 1: States for the things that he says they said, and
- 33:54Speaker 1: adding that he doesn't believe that the four lawmakers are
- 33:56Speaker 1: quote capable of loving our country. That's a quote. Many
- 34:00Speaker 1: legislators and others called Trump's marks racist, but Jersey senator
- 34:03Speaker 1: and presidential candidate Corey Booker says Trump is something worse
- 34:06Speaker 1: than that. This is a guy who is worse than
- 34:08Speaker 1: a racist. He is actually using racist tropes and racial
- 34:13Speaker 1: language for political gain to divide our nation against itself
- 34:16Speaker 1: through We've seen it with a No Nothing Party, which
- 34:19Speaker 1: was a trying to stop Irish and German immigrants. We've
- 34:21Speaker 1: seen it with McCarthyism. We have a demagogue, fear mongering
- 34:25Speaker 1: person who was using race to divide. And this is
- 34:27Speaker 1: a referendum not on him. It's actually a referendum on
- 34:31Speaker 1: the heart and soul of our country. Booker was interviewed
- 34:33Speaker 1: on CNN State of the Union, and the hate is spreading.
- 34:35Speaker 1: According a newsweek, of police officer in Louisiana suggested on
- 34:38Speaker 1: social media that one of the forminarity of female lawmakers
- 34:42Speaker 1: targeted by Trump, Alexandrocatio Cortez should be shot, calling the
- 34:46Speaker 1: progressive Democrat a vile idiot. The in battle. Governor Puerto
- 34:50Speaker 1: Rico Ricardo Sejean now says that while he won't quit,
- 34:53Speaker 1: that he will only serve out the remainder of his
- 34:55Speaker 1: term and will not, he say, run for reelection. A
- 34:57Speaker 1: lot of protests to say that that's not enough. For
- 34:59Speaker 1: se days, Puerto Ricans have been protesting outside of his
- 35:02Speaker 1: residence in San Juan, calling on him to resign. Ever since,
- 35:05Speaker 1: some eight hundred pages of emails were released showing him
- 35:08Speaker 1: and some of his cabinet members making fun of her
- 35:11Speaker 1: came Maria Victims and others. The winner of Michigan's Miss
- 35:14Speaker 1: World America contest this year is drifted of her title
- 35:16Speaker 1: over the post she made on social media about Muslims
- 35:19Speaker 1: and black people. Kathy Zoo is Asian. She's the vice
- 35:22Speaker 1: chair of the University of Michigan's Republican Party, and she
- 35:25Speaker 1: claims that she's been discriminated against. The pageant people told
- 35:28Speaker 1: her that her insensitive and appropriate posts were in violation
- 35:31Speaker 1: of the pageant's rules and conditions, and according to ABC,
- 35:34Speaker 1: the pageant email to Zoo states quote effective immediately. Miss
- 35:37Speaker 1: World America does not recognize you as a participant of
- 35:40Speaker 1: any sort or any capacity as it relates to any
- 35:43Speaker 1: and all events of the Miss World America pageant. So
- 35:45Speaker 1: there hundreds of electrical customers in parts of Northeast and
- 35:49Speaker 1: Midwest still without power this morning due to the brown
- 35:51Speaker 1: islets and midi blackouts caused by that superhib whether we
- 35:54Speaker 1: had in the weekend. Finally, no real surprise. The Lion
- 35:57Speaker 1: King was hide at the box office. That can take
- 36:01Speaker 1: a true king. So it's just for what he can give.
- 36:05Speaker 1: You must take your place in the circle of life.
- 36:11Speaker 1: The line King brought in a whopping one hundred and
- 36:13Speaker 1: eighty five million dollars locally. Back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:16Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:20Speaker 1: President Trump is aware of Asap Rockies legal situation in Sweden,
- 36:26Speaker 1: and he's got his team working to get him freed,
- 36:28Speaker 1: thanks in part to Kim and Kanye West. Okay, wow,
- 36:33Speaker 1: that's right. Yeah, Kim and Kanye lobby the White House
- 36:36Speaker 1: to jump in and get involved in the drama surrounding
- 36:38Speaker 1: Asap Rocky's imprisonment in Sweden. He's been behind bars for
- 36:42Speaker 1: more than two weeks now as prosecutors determined if he
- 36:45Speaker 1: should be charged with aggravated assault. We have learned that
- 36:49Speaker 1: the State Department is now actively working to get Asap
- 36:52Speaker 1: out of jail, thanks in large part to Kim's efforts.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Kim tweeted about the ASAP situation, saying thank you at
- 36:59Speaker 1: real Donald Trump, at Secretary Pompeo, Jared Kushner, and everyone
- 37:04Speaker 1: involved with the efforts to free a Sap, Rocky and
- 37:06Speaker 1: his two friends. Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated.
- 37:12Speaker 1: So there you go. Yeah, Trump's just trying to get
- 37:14Speaker 1: rid of the stuff he said about the four women. Yes,
- 37:17Speaker 1: that's all he's trying to do. He ain't fooling me.
- 37:19Speaker 1: But I would like to have him out of jail,
- 37:21Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, Absolutely free a Sap. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: I just don't want R Kelly, Carlin, Kim and Kanye thinking.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I just don't. I'm just saying, yeah,
- 37:33Speaker 1: they can't. They can't help everybody. Yeah, speaking of R Kelly, Tommy,
- 37:38Speaker 1: since you brought that up, He's reportedly scared for his
- 37:40Speaker 1: life behind bars. He fears retaliation from fellow inmates who
- 37:44Speaker 1: know he's accused of horrible sex crimes involving under age girls. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:50Speaker 1: Kelly's attorney report he's chosen to stay in solitary confinement
- 37:55Speaker 1: because he would be in real danger in the general
- 37:58Speaker 1: pol You know they have, they say, among thieves. And
- 38:01Speaker 1: that's one thing they do, is they really attack people
- 38:04Speaker 1: who hurt kids in jail. Yeah, your life is in danger, yes,
- 38:09Speaker 1: they do. You live in a different life and the
- 38:11Speaker 1: body yeah, well yeah. And the other thing is, you know,
- 38:13Speaker 1: Kelly can't read it right to the people know that
- 38:16Speaker 1: before before all came out. He can write. I think
- 38:20Speaker 1: he can read. He probably can't read real good, but
- 38:22Speaker 1: he can read. He knows he knows words like the
- 38:28Speaker 1: and they say he can't read Jake, Yeah, you think
- 38:31Speaker 1: he can't read it all. I think he can read
- 38:34Speaker 1: those two words. I mean, I'm sure you know how
- 38:36Speaker 1: to stop it, to stop saying, but I'm just saying
- 38:38Speaker 1: you just stopping it for so long? Yeah, you know,
- 38:41Speaker 1: to stop. Yeah, and you'd be surprised how many adults
- 38:44Speaker 1: can't read it, right. That are a little thing. He
- 38:46Speaker 1: can't read it all? Right? I think I think he knows.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Oh h Oh, he got that down because he knows
- 38:53Speaker 1: that is they're just a bunch of olds and agents.
- 38:55Speaker 1: He knows that. Yes, what he gonna sound k he
- 39:05Speaker 1: no lights out? I bet he know that. Coming up
- 39:08Speaker 1: at thirty four after the hour, you guys, we're gonna
- 39:10Speaker 1: play a little comedy roulette. That's coming up right after
- 39:13Speaker 1: this you're listening to. All right, Jay, time for comedy roulette.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Please set it up? All right, here we go. We
- 39:21Speaker 1: take a shot. Put it on the wheel for a difference.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Shof you spun the wheel when a wheel stop? We

- 39:28Speaker 1: a comedian, and Tommy is a comedian. Do it, Shiley's
- 39:31Speaker 1: spun the wheel? All right, here we go. Stuff you
- 39:33Speaker 1: say when someone finds porn on your computer. Things you

- 39:38Speaker 1: get a plate and then leave, things you see, things
- 39:41Speaker 1: you say when your friends new mixtape or song sucks.
- 39:45Speaker 1: And then number four, excuses you make when you can't
- 39:49Speaker 1: take your shoes off because your feet stink. All right,
- 39:51Speaker 1: any of them? Just any one? Yeah, spun it, spun it,
- 39:56Speaker 1: you don't care? Oh stop? The number one do you
- 40:08Speaker 1: say when someone finds porn on your computer, all right?

- 42:22Speaker 1: point on your computer. This this, this this my song. Computer.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I just had it for the day. I don't know.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I got to talk to that board, that board and
- 42:31Speaker 1: got out of control. Man, great computer. Things you say
- 42:40Speaker 1: when people find that you got point on the computer.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I just got it because if you don't look at
- 42:45Speaker 1: the pictures, the music is great, man, if you just
- 42:49Speaker 1: listen to music. No, don't look at the pitch. Just
- 42:52Speaker 1: listen to the music and the jazz. They have jazz
- 42:56Speaker 1: on man. Everything they say, put people fine pooring on
- 43:04Speaker 1: your computer. I think I'm getting into business. Put it
- 43:11Speaker 1: out there like I want to stay fine. I think
- 43:14Speaker 1: I can do that. I can do that. I can
- 43:16Speaker 1: do that. Thanks. You say, somebody finds porn on your computer. Listen,
- 43:26Speaker 1: it's a lot going on at my house and it's
- 43:28Speaker 1: just basically, let me say ain't nothing going on in
- 43:30Speaker 1: my house, so you know, it's all I It's all
- 43:34Speaker 1: that guy. That's all I got. Let me have that
- 43:41Speaker 1: one more. We got one more, all right, thank you,
- 43:44Speaker 1: saying when people find out you got painting. See, I
- 43:46Speaker 1: have a lost cousin that was into that, and I'm
- 43:49Speaker 1: looking at these videos to see if this is heard.
- 43:51Speaker 1: That's all I'm all right, guys, thank you. That was
- 43:57Speaker 1: comedy Roulette for today. Coming up next to Foolishness doesn't
- 44:00Speaker 1: stop there. It continues throughout the morning. If you know
- 44:04Speaker 1: anything about this show up next, nephew, with today's prank
- 44:07Speaker 1: phone call coming up right after this, you're listening to
- 44:11Speaker 1: the Steven show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:16Speaker 1: well about four minutes after the hour anyway. It is
- 44:19Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today. The subject my man wants
- 44:22Speaker 1: to play follow the Leader. My man wants to play
- 44:25Speaker 1: follow the Leader. But right now, nephew in the building
- 44:28Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call, what do you have for
- 44:30Speaker 1: us today? Next? Yeah, you old daughter bit my son yep,
- 44:39Speaker 1: your daughter bit bit my son bees? Yeah, yit with
- 44:49Speaker 1: me now your daughter bit bit my son running that
- 44:55Speaker 1: kit running that Hello, Hello, this is curious. This is
- 45:02Speaker 1: cur Look do you do you do your daughter go
- 45:05Speaker 1: to little academy? Yes? Who's this? And her name is Yes?
- 45:10Speaker 1: Who's this? Listen? Your daughter the bit my son, Uh,
- 45:14Speaker 1: Joshua went on the back my daughter. You know this
- 45:17Speaker 1: is Wilton, your daughter and bit my son down. You
- 45:21Speaker 1: can't just call my house and tell me my daughter
- 45:23Speaker 1: bit your saying be cussing at me, lady. I just said,
- 45:26Speaker 1: your daughter Sakia bit my son Joshua in the back,
- 45:30Speaker 1: and I just let no. I just said no two things.
- 45:32Speaker 1: One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody, and two, don't call
- 45:35Speaker 1: my house with this tone I called with any kind
- 45:38Speaker 1: of tone. What I want to call with. All I'm
- 45:40Speaker 1: saying is your daughter then bit my son in the back.
- 45:43Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you what I'm saying is don't
- 45:46Speaker 1: call my house with this attitude saying something that my
- 45:49Speaker 1: daughter beat your child in the back. My daughter has
- 45:52Speaker 1: manners and she wouldn't be biting nobody in the back.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Did you know, somebody, how the hell you know what
- 45:58Speaker 1: your daughter gonna be doing? If you ain't there my
- 46:00Speaker 1: daughter you're raising ain't you just come in one month
- 46:06Speaker 1: and trying to do some kind of daddy work your dadda,
- 46:09Speaker 1: but four years old high nailed you. You know how that?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Damn well, I've been with her for four years. What
- 46:14Speaker 1: you being? My daughter does not be biting people around
- 46:17Speaker 1: in the back of the neck or anything like that.
- 46:19Speaker 1: What the hell is wrong with you? Don't call my
- 46:21Speaker 1: house with his attitude? Where I get how the hell
- 46:24Speaker 1: you figure I'm a weekend daddy. I'm calling you about
- 46:27Speaker 1: what's going on with my child. But I don't think
- 46:30Speaker 1: you got your facts straight. So next time you call
- 46:32Speaker 1: somebody to tell them about the child, figure out everything
- 46:35Speaker 1: about your child first. All I'm saying is that the
- 46:38Speaker 1: people at the academy says, so, Carol bit my son
- 46:41Speaker 1: Joshua were in the back. Well, I can't understand what
- 46:44Speaker 1: you're saying because I don't like your tongue. So don't
- 46:46Speaker 1: call me about my baby. Have her mama called me?
- 46:50Speaker 1: It don't make no difference. If a mama or daddy
- 46:52Speaker 1: called along with somebody, call hello, call her back down? Hello?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Is this Carol? This is why you ain't no poem?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Why are you still calling me? And why are you
- 47:02Speaker 1: yelling at me? My child didn't bite your child in
- 47:06Speaker 1: the back When I picked up my child. They didn't
- 47:07Speaker 1: say to me, your child is body in the back?
- 47:10Speaker 1: My child, my child every day, Like I said in
- 47:13Speaker 1: the first lady, you must be some kind of weekend daddy.
- 47:16Speaker 1: How can you know my child? I'm with my child
- 47:18Speaker 1: every day. How you are you? I'm with my I
- 47:22Speaker 1: don't even know who Joshua is. She should have just
- 47:24Speaker 1: hit him in the head. Ain't what you ain't gonna
- 47:26Speaker 1: do and city and talk about my baby like you
- 47:28Speaker 1: asked me to lower my child. You know what I'm
- 47:30Speaker 1: gonna do. I'm gonna hang up one more lay Hello, Hello,
- 47:37Speaker 1: called back, call a back cat Hello, don't hang up
- 47:42Speaker 1: on me no more, Lady Noma again. I'm gonna call
- 47:46Speaker 1: you until you tell me. Why are you your child
- 47:49Speaker 1: just bite my child in the back. I am not
- 47:52Speaker 1: in the mood to play with you right now. You're
- 47:54Speaker 1: gonna mess try to get you and your child. You
- 47:57Speaker 1: and your child. You don't guess what Shakira got her, daddy.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You're talking about whipping somebody cares, Daddy, No, you have
- 48:05Speaker 1: else to say. You can't call my house and threaten
- 48:08Speaker 1: me and my jold. If my child beat you up, child,
- 48:11Speaker 1: that's what your child deserves. He got whooped daughter, whooped
- 48:15Speaker 1: your son just probably want me to last trying the
- 48:18Speaker 1: little fast not in those kids. Get this, you're gonna
- 48:21Speaker 1: be talking about fake facts. She didn't bite them in
- 48:25Speaker 1: the back. She might have whoked it, but my daughter
- 48:28Speaker 1: don't play now like what, keep talking. You found my
- 48:33Speaker 1: phone number, find my address and have kids. Daddy beat
- 48:36Speaker 1: you what I said, Bring your phone over again. My babies,
- 48:41Speaker 1: fare with your babies. My baby. Daddy gonna whip y'all.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Bring it on. I'm coming over there and beat you
- 48:47Speaker 1: and your child that you don't call a woman and
- 48:50Speaker 1: tell her you coming over to beat behind child. You
- 48:52Speaker 1: come up here and beat her. Daddy's come over here
- 48:55Speaker 1: and beat your kids. Daddy, he don't he don't want
- 48:57Speaker 1: not to me. You don't want it. I'm on my
- 49:00Speaker 1: way over without now. Bring on, somebody gonna get day
- 49:04Speaker 1: daddy home. He ain't got no damn job. He got
- 49:11Speaker 1: a job. Y'all gonna make me come over without a night.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Bring it on right now. You know you know what
- 49:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. I'm gonna tell me something else.
- 49:19Speaker 1: You're gonna get bit and your baby gonna get bit too.
- 49:22Speaker 1: You gonna my baby gonna whoop? Yo? Can I say
- 49:26Speaker 1: something to you? Say something to me? Nephew timing from
- 49:30Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got prank you. Oh,
- 49:38Speaker 1: I am shame ya just got prank. Your sister Glinda
- 49:43Speaker 1: told me, she said, but they couldn't get me. She said,
- 49:48Speaker 1: give me. She said, you always never get me. Oh.
- 49:52Speaker 1: I told her that wouldn't happen to me here. But
- 49:55Speaker 1: you can't call somebody talk about baby. That's that's where kimman.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Don't don't call nobody about that. Now you got my
- 50:06Speaker 1: heart hearted? Look, can I ask you something? Let me
- 50:09Speaker 1: ask you? What is the baddest radio show in the land.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You don't tell I go too far?
- 50:18Speaker 1: You know, plan with people. But that's what it's about.
- 50:21Speaker 1: You have to go. It's about, thank you. You You don't
- 50:23Speaker 1: go too far. You're not going anywhere. You ain't going
- 50:26Speaker 1: far enough. Thank you. Brother me. You ain't gonna, but
- 50:31Speaker 1: you do it every daytime. I'd be nervous for you,
- 50:34Speaker 1: so scared I do I surely? Yeah? Can I tell
- 50:39Speaker 1: you something? Sure I didn't hear my ass that don't
- 50:46Speaker 1: bother you what you're trying to really do? You know
- 50:51Speaker 1: what you're going to really do when you look at
- 50:53Speaker 1: it like that, all I'm gonna end up with his
- 50:55Speaker 1: ass whoop and the prank. Don't still be that. We're

- 53:41Speaker 1: f M. And click submit Strawberry Letter. Boy. Yeah, then
- 53:47Speaker 1: I have a little problem with yes. All right, let's
- 53:55Speaker 1: get to it. Buck up and hold on type we
- 53:57Speaker 1: got itfore you Here. It is the Strawberry Letter object.
- 54:00Speaker 1: My man wants to play Follow the Leader. Jar Stephen Shirley,
- 54:05Speaker 1: my boyfriend and I have been living together for three months.
- 54:09Speaker 1: He prides himself on being the man of the house
- 54:12Speaker 1: and he enjoys paying all of the bills. I handle
- 54:17Speaker 1: all of my personal bills and I buy the groceries.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Shortly after we moved in together, he started flexing and
- 54:24Speaker 1: setting rules, saying he needed to run his household in
- 54:28Speaker 1: this way. We have a one year old child, and
- 54:31Speaker 1: he said that it's my responsibility to drop the child
- 54:34Speaker 1: off and pick her up from daycare. He wants me
- 54:38Speaker 1: to come home right after work so that I can
- 54:41Speaker 1: have dinner ready when he gets home. He said that
- 54:44Speaker 1: the baby should be bathed and ready for bed at
- 54:47Speaker 1: a decent hour each night so that he can have
- 54:50Speaker 1: me all to himself before bedtime. He also expects to
- 54:54Speaker 1: have a tidy house before we leave for work each
- 54:57Speaker 1: day each morning, and he expects to make up the
- 55:01Speaker 1: bed daily, even if he is the last one out
- 55:04Speaker 1: of it. I couldn't agree to any of this foolery.
- 55:07Speaker 1: That foolery. I told him that we're partners and we
- 55:11Speaker 1: should share in everything we do, like cooking, cleaning, and
- 55:15Speaker 1: taking care of our child. He told me that if
- 55:18Speaker 1: that's the case, then I need to share in paying
- 55:21Speaker 1: half of our bills. I was so outdone. I cook,
- 55:25Speaker 1: clean and take care of our child because I am
- 55:27Speaker 1: a good woman and a nurturer, not because he tells
- 55:31Speaker 1: me too. We moved in together to save money so
- 55:34Speaker 1: we can plan a wedding, but I am glad this
- 55:38Speaker 1: controlling behavior came out before he asked me to marry him.
- 55:42Speaker 1: My male best friend says that I am going to
- 55:45Speaker 1: end up messing up a good thing over something that's
- 55:48Speaker 1: very petty. So what do you think should I follow
- 55:50Speaker 1: the leader? Please advise? Wow, we're in twenty nineteen, right,
- 55:55Speaker 1: not in the nineteen fifties or anything, right, because that's
- 55:58Speaker 1: where he's from. It sounds like you're right, he's very controlling. Listen,
- 56:03Speaker 1: just because a man pays all the bills at home,
- 56:06Speaker 1: that doesn't make him a dictator. That does not make
- 56:10Speaker 1: that a real man would pay the bills and help out. Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 1: and you pay your personal bills, you buy the groceries,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you buy the groceries, you cook, you clean. I'm sure
- 56:19Speaker 1: you have to clean up after that. Because he doesn't
- 56:21Speaker 1: sound like a man who does any kind of housework
- 56:24Speaker 1: or thinks it's an insult to him to do sort
- 56:26Speaker 1: of such things. You have to drop the baby off
- 56:31Speaker 1: at daycare, pick her up? What does he do? What
- 56:34Speaker 1: does he do besides bark orders? What I mean? I
- 56:38Speaker 1: don't see anything else he does besides pay the bills.
- 56:41Speaker 1: And I'm with you. I couldn't agree to any of
- 56:44Speaker 1: this tim foolery. Either I love a freshly made bed
- 56:48Speaker 1: when I come home from work and all of that,
- 56:51Speaker 1: but it doesn't mean that I have to do it.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Or you know, Necesar doesn't put a gun in my
- 56:57Speaker 1: head and make me make up the bed. We just
- 56:59Speaker 1: whoever gets out of the bed last it makes up
- 57:01Speaker 1: the bed. That could be me, that could be him,
- 57:03Speaker 1: whoever whoever gets out of bed. So, yeah, he's controlling.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He sounds like he has some sort of chip on
- 57:10Speaker 1: his shoulder too. Why can't he bathe the baby. Plenty
- 57:13Speaker 1: of fathers out here bathe their own babies. Plenty of
- 57:16Speaker 1: them put them to bed, tell them bedtime stories, sing
- 57:21Speaker 1: to them, whatever they have to do. Those are called
- 57:23Speaker 1: good fathers, not controlling fathers. I agree with you. You
- 57:26Speaker 1: guys should share. Don't listen to your best friend. You're
- 57:29Speaker 1: going to mess up a good thing over something of
- 57:31Speaker 1: it's very petty. This is not petty. And let me
- 57:34Speaker 1: tell you something, when you do get married, it is
- 57:35Speaker 1: those little things that come back up to haunt you.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I think that no, you should not follow the leader.
- 57:41Speaker 1: You guys should set ground rules on sharing, and that's it.
- 57:46Speaker 1: If he's not agreeing to that he's not the one. Okay,
- 57:49Speaker 1: he's not the one. He's too controlling, Junior. Yeah, now
- 57:55Speaker 1: I see why my grandmother used to say to these
- 57:57Speaker 1: type of thing. My grandmothers used to say this. And
- 58:00Speaker 1: I love my grandmother loved she's gone. But Wilma brand
- 58:04Speaker 1: you to say, you don't give husband privileges to boyfriends? Right, whoa,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and now I see why you don't give husband privileges
- 58:14Speaker 1: to boyfriends. See, what you ask for is a commitment
- 58:17Speaker 1: every day to cooking, cleaning, bathing the baby, putting the
- 58:20Speaker 1: baby to bed so you can have man so you
- 58:22Speaker 1: don't have no ring for that. You're not committed to that.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And then you need to also let him know that
- 58:28Speaker 1: you have a father. Yep, you have a father. You're
- 58:31Speaker 1: not that's not your daddy. And then all this is
- 58:35Speaker 1: the crazy part. All this is after three months, just this, this, this,
- 58:39Speaker 1: this ninety days they had a child together or she
- 58:42Speaker 1: has one by herself because he's not helping at all.
- 58:44Speaker 1: But that's ninety days. Can you imagine what what a
- 58:48Speaker 1: year looked like or two years looked like? I know,
- 58:52Speaker 1: I mean, I'll tell you what. Also, let's see how
- 58:54Speaker 1: he really feel after if you locked the cookie up,
- 58:57Speaker 1: then oh wow, then it's gonna be baby. I get
- 59:01Speaker 1: the baby, but don't worry. I got the bed. Hey,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you just go to work. I got this kitchen here. Craziness.
- 59:09Speaker 1: That's all I have to tell you. It's just don't
- 59:11Speaker 1: give husband privileges to boyfriends. That's it, is it? That's
- 59:18Speaker 1: very good? Okay. What he needs to do is make
- 59:21Speaker 1: sure when the time she gets home, he has to
- 59:24Speaker 1: have a did it attitude? Maybe I did it well,
- 59:29Speaker 1: I gotta did it, I got it, did it, I
- 59:33Speaker 1: got to make did it. I gotta watch the cloth
- 59:35Speaker 1: it's done. I gotta did it. Everything just did. It's
- 59:40Speaker 1: the best loving you can get is when you help
- 59:43Speaker 1: the loving out because you don't want loving. Oh my god,
- 59:48Speaker 1: you do not want tired love it. You wan't rested loving.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Okay O, yeah, oh it's not funny. You got you
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: and take it, but you really don't. All right, hold
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: that thought, Jake. We're coming back with part two of
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letters subject my man wants to play Follow
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the Leader. We'll hear more from Jay and of course
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: the nephew. At twenty three after the hour, you're listening
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All Right, here we go.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter subject my man wants to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: play follow the Leader. A woman wrote in she and
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: her boyfriend have moved in together. They've been living together
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: for three months or ninety days, as Junior says, and
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: the woman says that the man prides himself and being
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the man of the house. He enjoys paying all the bills,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: enjoys paying all of the bills. But after they moved in.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Shortly after that, he started flexing and bossing her around
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and becoming a dictator. He's controlling. He wants her to cook,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he wanted to lean, he wants her to take the
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: baby to daycare, pick the baby up from daycare. He
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: doesn't want to share in any of the responsibilities. He
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: doesn't even want to make his own bed up. Okay.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: All he says he's doing is paying the bills. She says, no,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: she's not signing up for any of this foolishness. She
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: thinks they should share in the responsibilities, and he's like, Okay,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: if that's the case, then you need to pay half
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the bills. She's saying, I do these things because I'm
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: this child's mother. And I'm a good person, a good woman,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: and I'm a nurturer, not because you're making me or
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: i'm you're you think you're controlling me, none of that.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: So she talked to her best male friend about it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: He told her to be quiet because she could mess
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: up a good thing, and she's being petty. Yeah, we
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: don't think you're being petty at all. Okay, go with
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: your gut. You know this is wrong of him to
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: do this. All right, we heard from Jay. We are
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: from I mean, we heard part one from Jay. Go ahead, Jay, Okay,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: let me just say there's nothing A lot of ladies
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: all tell you this. There's nothing than more sexier then
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: wash dishes that are already put up and dried up.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Nothing clean. What what kitchen clean? I mean if they
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: the trash, sweep the trash up, dry the dishes. There's
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: nothing more sexy than picking stuff up off the damn floor.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Talk about turn on, boy, the loving you're gonna get
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: when you picked up up off the floor. I come on, nephew,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: no booty, if you don't pick up have to do that.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: That's how it's going. If I got to get that
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: baby from daycare, guess what he't need no booty. Okay,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: if I got to cook everything, or at night when
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: we come home, guess what, no booty. If I got
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: to go to daycare in the morning and daycare in
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: the eating, no booty. That's right now. This is what
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna do for You're gonna make life but look
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: easier for me. I'm about fifty TV donners and put
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: them in the freezing That's what. That's what we're gonna
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: be eating since I got the cook every single night.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: No booty, no duty, that's all. That's all I gotta say, Tommy,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you're married, of course. I mean, let's be honest here.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: You help out you definitely. I think I probably cook well.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I like to cook, so I probably cook more than
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: she does when I'm at home, you know what I mean.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: But last one we have this rule you said it earlier.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: The last one out the bed makes up the bed,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So that's fair, uh you know.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: And then of course, um like I'm like, if I can,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I'm excited to go pick up my kids from school.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: You know, I'm excited. So that's I'm never against that, Yeah,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: because you always don't you get especially the conversation with
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: me and Jordan, my eight year old, to have a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: conversation with him, just one on one. Oh my god, amazing.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: And Jay, you've been married, I had. I've been married
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: a couple of times and I had one problem, Okay,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a lot, a lot. I just had one problem when
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I was mad. I had a lot, but one was me.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: But when when you wash them, I'm just ladies, when
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you wash things out in the sink, we don't sometimes
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: know what the hell at is. Okay, we see it,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: we see it floating there. We don't know exactly what
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: what is what those things are. So if you don't
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: do that, wash them drop and hang them up, don't don't.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: It's just this kind of scary when you when you
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: walking in there, in there, I don't it looked like
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a brod or something. I don't know what it is.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: That's the twenty f a hour broad Hell. I'm just saying,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: but you didn't help out, and you were married, you
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: helped out around the house. This guy in the letter
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: needs to learn the phrase happy wife, happy life, because
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: it's miserable right now with you and all of your
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: rules and huh come straight home from work. Yeah, who
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: are you? You're like, Yeah, come on, man, my mama
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: loved to test em theories. Oh what, he wouldn't come
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: home for a day. Yeah, this is craziness right here,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: just just playing craziness. She says she does this because
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: she's a good woman and a nurturer, not because I
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: think he doesn't get it. That's what I think. Yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: he don't. He don't know. He's young and he doesn't
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: get it. You think he's young. He sounds so old
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to me. He definitely ain't gonna get it. That's he
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: sounds so old school, like he needs to run his
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: household in his way. I mean, this sounds from the
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: color purple exactly. He sounds old to me. Did not
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: catch you messing Ryan with? Yeah? That's yeah. Yeah. So
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you can't cook, you can't clean, you can't make him
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: the bad and you can't pick up your own baby.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: This is their child together. It's not just her baby,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: this is their child together. But she's completely in totally
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: responsible for that. Yeah, you're ridiculous today. Yeah all right, listen,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you can email us your instagram us your thoughts on

- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and it was posted on social media. Well, it didn't
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: take long at all for the Internet rolls, the hate firs, yes,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: to come after her with men and nasty comments about
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: her dance moves. Of course, her man, her husband, her love,

- 1:07:09Speaker 1: He did a little video of his own and he
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: shut down all the haters, all the trolls. We've got

- 1:07:17Speaker 1: it outway to just make sure y'all send me the
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: video of you dancing at your own restaurant opening. Really
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: rocket and so that happens. I'm saying, I love it.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I love it. But he started doing it in a car. Yeah,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I love it. When you got four restaurants with your
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: own name on him gives a damn high you dance?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: What is what all this was? She was just celebrating
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the owner of the restaurant. It was facing yes, yes,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: but I shall appreciate your step. Yeah, you're right. He's
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: riding in the car with ride in the car. He
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: started mill Ran. He said, when you open your own restaurant,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: we gonna wait for you to do that. I love that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: We'll still threes threes and folks, I ain't met it,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I know. And what a great you know, just family institution.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I mean they're together. They talked earlier about putting each
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: other first. Once they put themselves first as husband and wife,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: then the kids, and you know, because they don't they
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: don't take care of each other, then they're not going
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: to because yeah, well enough to take care of the kids.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: So I love that. But everything they do, come help me.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: We should do you know, we should do We should
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: all get together and go down Okay, yeah, I think
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: we should all just go yeah and go and support
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: the Steve at the restaurant. I love that it's called
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: International Smoke and it's in del mar Let's do it.

- 1:09:33Speaker 1: on the TV screen. Some people reacted to the video
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: by asking if the passenger used his feet because he
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: suffered from mobility issues. The person that took the video
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: confirmed that she saw the guy walk on and off
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: the plane and carry his own bag, So it proves
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: his hands and arms are fully functioning. And we see,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: we ought to had a right to who up his
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: ad I see him, We ought to had a right

- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and he did a great job. Then he went on
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: to play um in Moon Moonlight. Oh he did. Yeah,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: he won an Oscar for his rolling there. Well, mihrschela
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Ali is set to start in Blade. Marble reveals at
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Comic Con. Yes, yes, yes, yeah, they went wild Blade fan.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: I really liked it. But there's really y'all really could
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: put a Wesley Snipes in this damn movie. It just
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: it didn't take away from the movie. He was the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: original Blade. Yeah, he's killing the movie. He's really good.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: He's in shape. I mean, fun fact. Do you know
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: in Blade that Wilfley Snipes organized all the fights? Yeah?
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: In Blade? Yeah, yeah he did, Yeah he did. Yeah,

- 1:11:39Speaker 1: job in Man Man great when it is Wesley Snipes
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: not a job. I'm not scared of him about Round April.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Why you say that tax season? He's not gonna do
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: a damn anyway, we're talking about Rehearschela Ali. Marvel Studios
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: went wild and revealed its face for a movie lineup

- 1:12:23Speaker 1: appear on Disney Plus. So congratulations, congratulations, congratulations. Uh. Tessa
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Thompson is going to play Marvel's first LGBTQ superhero in
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: the Next Store movie. So they're making I mean, they're
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: making big moves. Marvel is. Yeah, Marvel makes really good
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: superhero movie long. But here's here's a little thing, you guys.

- 1:12:55Speaker 1: If you hear them, if you're hearing the name Tessa Thompson,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: but you can't quite pay the faith. She's currently starring

- 1:15:23Speaker 1: in part to Kim and Kanye West. Okay, that's right. Yeah,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Kim and Kanye lobbied the White House to jump in
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and get involved in the drama surrounding Asap Rocky's imprisonment
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: in Sweden. He's been behind bars for more than two
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: weeks now as prosecutors determined if he should be charged
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: with aggravated assault. We have learned that the State Department
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: is now actively working to get Asap out of jail,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: thanks in large part to Kim's efforts. Kim tweeted about
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: the ASAP situation, saying, thank you at Real Donald Trump,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: at Secretary Pompeo, Jared Kushner, and everyone involved with the
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: efforts to free Asap Rocky and his two friends. Your
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: commitment to justice reform is so appreciated. So there you go. Yeah,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Trump's just trying to get rid of the stuff he
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: said about the four women. That's all he's trying to do.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: He ain't fooling me, but I would like to have
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: him out of jail, don't get me wrong. Absolutely, Yeah,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I just don't want R. Kelly, Carlin, Kim and Kanye
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: thinking you know what I'm saying. I just don't. I'm
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: just saying, yeah, they can't. They can't help everybody. Yeah,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: speaking of R. Kelly, Tommy, since you brought that up.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: He's reportedly scared for his life behind bars. He fears
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: retaliation from fellow inmates who know he's accused of horrible
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: sex crimes involving under eight girls. Yeah. Yeah, Kelly's attorney
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: report he's chosen to stay in solitary confinement because he
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: would be in real danger in the general pol You
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: know they have they say, what honor among thieves? And
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that's one thing they do is they really attack people
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: who hurt kids in jail. Yeah, your life is in danger, yes,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: they do. You live in a different life and the
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: body yeah well yeah. And the other thing is, you
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: know Kelly can't read it right to the did people
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: know that before before all came out? He can write.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I think he can read. He probably can't read real good,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: but he can read. He know words like the and
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: they say he can't read JA, Yeah, you think he
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: can't read it all? I think he can read those
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: two words mean I'm sure he knows how to stop it,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: to stop saying but I'm just saying you just stopping
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: at it for so long? Yeah, you know to stop. Yeah,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: and you'd be surprised how many adults can't read it right,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: that are literally can't read it all right. I think
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I think he knows. Oh h oh, he got that
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: down because he knows that is they're just a bunch
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: of He knows that. Yes, what he gonna sound like,
