- 2:58Speaker 8: hadn't have been involved with this woman, if I hadn't
- 3:00Speaker 8: have had this baby, if I had never went down there,
- 3:04Speaker 8: if I hadn't have got arrested, if I hadn't to this,
- 3:07Speaker 8: if I hadn't it at, if I had a just
- 3:09Speaker 8: finished school, if I had to Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 3:12Speaker 8: stop stop all that stuff that you're complaining about, everything
- 3:18Speaker 8: that you keep allowing to resonate with you as a
- 3:21Speaker 8: reason to justify and explain you not being successful. Can
- 3:26Speaker 8: I share something with you about all of that? Guess
- 3:29Speaker 8: what it is? You done, got past all of it.
- 3:33Speaker 8: You didn't have the baby, you got arrested, they didn't.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Kill you, you.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Didn't finish school, but you're still standing.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You met that man, he gone, He involved with two
- 3:43Speaker 2: other women. Right now, I got three other kids. Guess what.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You still here and the baby's here.
- 3:48Speaker 8: You got over all the injustices that were done to you.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You got something happened to you when.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You was a kid.
- 3:55Speaker 8: You're an adult now. Somebody did something to you when
- 3:57Speaker 8: you was a little boy. Guess what you a man now.
- 4:01Speaker 8: Some things happen to you that you haven't found closure on.
- 4:06Speaker 8: The person that you're looking for closure from has moved on.
- 4:10Speaker 8: Can I tell you that everything that has happened to you?
- 4:13Speaker 8: Do you know you've gotten pasted it? So why are
- 4:17Speaker 8: you steady complaining about what has happened to you that
- 4:21Speaker 8: has caused you to be in this position? But do
- 4:24Speaker 8: you understand that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop
- 4:27Speaker 8: complaining today, catch fire. Let your past be your past.
- 4:31Speaker 8: I've told this to you one hundred times on this radio,
- 4:34Speaker 8: but I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jakes told me
- 4:37Speaker 8: something man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive
- 4:41Speaker 8: your car if you gonna keep looking in the rear
- 4:45Speaker 8: view mirror. That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield
- 4:50Speaker 8: is huge. The rearview mirror is this tiny thing that
- 4:54Speaker 8: sits up there.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Now all is far.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's so you can see stuff that's coming up on you.
- 5:01Speaker 8: All the rearview mirror for is so you can assure yourself.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Oh, listen to this.
- 5:06Speaker 8: The realview mirror is imp there to assure you that
- 5:10Speaker 8: you've cleared something.
- 5:12Speaker 9: See.
- 5:12Speaker 2: That's what the rearview mirrors for.
- 5:14Speaker 8: So when you pass the can you want to switch lanes,
- 5:17Speaker 8: you can glance up there and it says, okay, you're clear.
- 5:20Speaker 8: Now you passed it. You can switch lanes. That's all
- 5:23Speaker 8: the rearview mirrors for. It ain't for you to stare
- 5:25Speaker 8: at and dictate your life with what you're tripping for. Man,
- 5:29Speaker 8: catch fire today today, Man, quit complaining about everything that
- 5:35Speaker 8: did happened to you. Life is ten percent. What happens
- 5:38Speaker 8: to you is ninety percent. What you do about what
- 5:40Speaker 8: happens to you? What are you going to do about it?
- 5:45Speaker 8: So what I got all this? Look, man, your story
- 5:47Speaker 8: ain't no deeper than nobody else's. I can tell you
- 5:50Speaker 8: I was homeless for three years. It's people been homeless
- 5:53Speaker 8: for thirty years.
- 5:56Speaker 1: How long I'm gonna ride that out?
- 5:58Speaker 9: Man?
- 5:59Speaker 2: You know I can't do nothing right now. I fell
- 6:01Speaker 2: on hard times and I lost my place to stay.
- 6:04Speaker 8: Where you staying now? See the majority of people are
- 6:09Speaker 8: staying somewhere right now. I was out there. I didn't
- 6:12Speaker 8: have nowhere to go. I'm in a shelter. Now you
- 6:15Speaker 8: was under the bridge a week aldgo You in the shelter.
- 6:18Speaker 8: Now why you can still crying about the bridge? You
- 6:22Speaker 8: in a shelter now? Man, You know how you find
- 6:27Speaker 8: your purpose?
- 6:29Speaker 2: You get in.
- 6:29Speaker 8: Touch with who created you. Because when God made you,
- 6:35Speaker 8: he had a purpose in mind. Now we've ignored it
- 6:39Speaker 8: and we haven't tapped into it. But we all had
- 6:41Speaker 8: a purpose. You don't, and it's sometimes it takes people
- 6:44Speaker 8: belonging to discover the purpose. Colonel Sanders was frying chicken
- 6:49Speaker 8: with a recipe that he was telling people was the
- 6:52Speaker 8: best chicken in the world.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Ain't nobody believe him till he turned seventy?
- 6:58Speaker 8: Why you think the dude yes on the Kentucky Fried
- 7:01Speaker 8: Chicken signs is old. That dude ain't twenty up there
- 7:06Speaker 8: he oh, he oh, But you know what, he had
- 7:10Speaker 8: been frying that chicken for forty some years. They just
- 7:16Speaker 8: found out about it when he was seventy. But he
- 7:20Speaker 8: didn't give up his purpose in life. This dude was
- 7:23Speaker 8: just frying chicken. See, people keep looking for their gifts
- 7:26Speaker 8: in all kinds of places when it's right there in you.
- 7:29Speaker 8: You ain't got to go to school to find your gift.
- 7:32Speaker 8: You're born with the gift that God got for you.
- 7:34Speaker 8: You'll go to school to tack it on to something else.
- 7:38Speaker 8: But your gift was already given to you.
- 7:40Speaker 2: You were born with that. You don't have to go
- 7:42Speaker 2: to college to know your gift.
- 7:44Speaker 8: Your college allows you to enhance it and to find
- 7:46Speaker 8: something to attach it to, and hopefully you get a
- 7:49Speaker 8: degree that attaches your gift to a vehicle where it
- 7:52Speaker 8: can work. The problem with college is we go to
- 7:56Speaker 8: college and we attach it to what we like or
- 7:58Speaker 8: what we might be passionate about, and we ignore the
- 8:00Speaker 8: gift we have. You know how many people and graduated
- 8:03Speaker 8: from college ain't doing nothing they went to college for.
- 8:05Speaker 8: Come on, man, you know why because you discover in
- 8:08Speaker 8: life your gift. You discover what you was born to do.
- 8:12Speaker 8: I wasn't bought, you know what I mean? You know
- 8:13Speaker 8: what my major was in college? It was advertising. I
- 8:17Speaker 8: can't be at no death, drawing, no picture for nobody.
- 8:20Speaker 8: But now guess what I can wake up every day
- 8:22Speaker 8: and guess what I can tell you. I advertise. I've
- 8:25Speaker 8: been advertising my career. Come see me live. Come see
- 8:28Speaker 8: me live at Madison Square guard Come see me live
- 8:32Speaker 8: at Phillips Winga. Come see me live at Jokers Comedy Club.
- 8:35Speaker 8: Come see me live at Percy's. Come see me live
- 8:38Speaker 8: at Elisis Tavin. Come see me live. I've been advertising
- 8:42Speaker 8: the whole time, but I had a different purpose in
- 8:45Speaker 8: mind because I went and I talked to God.
- 8:48Speaker 2: And this is how you do it.
- 8:49Speaker 8: You go talk to God and say, hey, God, look, okay,
- 8:52Speaker 8: this is the deal. I've been struggling here. I'm over
- 8:56Speaker 8: forty I still haven't found my purpose in life. Okay,
- 9:00Speaker 8: but so I can quit wasting any more time. Would
- 9:03Speaker 8: you help direct me and guide me to my purpose?
- 9:06Speaker 8: I know you created me to do something. I just
- 9:09Speaker 8: haven't found what it is. And the reason I haven't
- 9:11Speaker 8: found what it is because I've been doing things my way.
- 9:14Speaker 8: I ain't been checking what you, conferring with you on anything.
- 9:17Speaker 8: I ain't locked in. I tried to settle it up
- 9:19Speaker 8: with you. I've been just doing my thing. Well, my
- 9:22Speaker 8: thing has gotten me as far as it can get me.
- 9:25Speaker 8: How about you take over and do your thing now?
- 9:28Speaker 8: Can you direct me in my path? I'm an open book.
- 9:32Speaker 8: Treat me like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man,
- 9:35Speaker 8: if you go to God, he'll give it to you.
- 9:37Speaker 2: But see you have not because you ask not. How
- 9:41Speaker 2: many times have you asked God for it?
- 9:45Speaker 1: This ain't no magic trick, y'all.
- 9:47Speaker 2: This is the deal.
- 9:49Speaker 8: You got to catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am.
- 9:53Speaker 8: I'm excited about today. I've got a lot to do.

- 15:06Speaker 2: meet today.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Hello.
- 15:10Speaker 9: Hello, I'm trying to reach a Patricia Patricia speak. Who
- 15:14Speaker 9: is this? How you doing? Listen? My name is Floyd Floyd.
- 15:18Speaker 9: I want to give you a call. You your daughter
- 15:20Speaker 9: she attends middle school? Right?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Okay?
- 15:22Speaker 9: What's your name again, Floyd Floyd?
- 15:25Speaker 11: Okay? What can I just write you?
- 15:26Speaker 9: Uh? Well, like I said, your your daughter she goes
- 15:28Speaker 9: she do go to middle school, right yeah, okay, Now
- 15:32Speaker 9: her name, her name is Derek.
- 15:33Speaker 11: Why you need to know that?
- 15:35Speaker 9: Okay?
- 15:35Speaker 12: Well, ain't something wrong or something?
- 15:37Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, nothing wrong. I mean I don't
- 15:40Speaker 9: mean the alarm, Ye're nothing like that. But let me
- 15:42Speaker 9: see what you calling me. Well, here's the situation. My
- 15:46Speaker 9: daughter actually goes to middle school along along with with
- 15:50Speaker 9: your daughter. Okay, and and it's it's a bit of
- 15:54Speaker 9: a problem that that that has arisen that me and
- 15:56Speaker 9: my wife just found out about.
- 15:58Speaker 12: Okay, what they have some issues Derrick in some kind
- 16:02Speaker 12: of like trouble or something.
- 16:04Speaker 9: No, no, no, nothing like that. But I say it
- 16:07Speaker 9: on food with.
- 16:08Speaker 12: Nobody at that school. She don't mess with nobody, she
- 16:11Speaker 12: own the honor row and everything. I don't have no
- 16:13Speaker 12: problems out of Derreka, right.
- 16:15Speaker 9: None, Okay, let me no, Let me tell you, miss
- 16:20Speaker 9: miss Patricia, what the problem is. See, my daughter name
- 16:23Speaker 9: is Dereka. Okay, so, and and it just blew me
- 16:27Speaker 9: and my wife away that it was another Derreka that
- 16:30Speaker 9: went to school.
- 16:32Speaker 12: Okay, all right, I don't know too many Derekas. That's
- 16:34Speaker 12: a unique name. That's cute, okay, right.
- 16:38Speaker 9: Right, Well here's the problem me and my wife. Actually,
- 16:41Speaker 9: you know, when it was time to name my child,
- 16:43Speaker 9: we thought we was really picking the name that nobody
- 16:46Speaker 9: uh would have a pick out for their daughter. And
- 16:49Speaker 9: to have another Dereka in the school that blew us away.
- 16:52Speaker 9: And I guess the real reason why I'm trying to
- 16:54Speaker 9: call you, miss Patricia c is if if there's something
- 16:58Speaker 9: maybe we can work out, you know, maybe like your
- 17:01Speaker 9: Deraka does middle name or nickname she can be called
- 17:06Speaker 9: by in opposed to both of them being Dereka. You
- 17:10Speaker 9: really don't want to our child to be the only
- 17:11Speaker 9: one with this name.
- 17:12Speaker 12: Okay, wait wait, wait, wait for now, you calling me
- 17:16Speaker 12: and you asking me to change my baby's name.
- 17:19Speaker 9: Well, I mean you. You ain't really got to legally
- 17:21Speaker 9: change I mean, but just start calling us something else,
- 17:23Speaker 9: you know?
- 17:24Speaker 12: No, No, wait a minute, say what you the name
- 17:27Speaker 12: in police or something. Do you know how many ants
- 17:30Speaker 12: and louis this and Patricia's out there? What if I
- 17:32Speaker 12: asked everything in the United States to change their name
- 17:35Speaker 12: from Patricia did?
- 17:36Speaker 11: How crazy that is?
- 17:38Speaker 9: And I understand that.
- 17:39Speaker 11: You must be on drugs.
- 17:40Speaker 9: Now what I'm trying to say is you know this,
- 17:43Speaker 9: this is something that we really have. Our baby girl
- 17:45Speaker 9: was this name and we didn't want nobody else to
- 17:47Speaker 9: have this. So does your Dereker have a middle name
- 17:50Speaker 9: she can use?
- 17:51Speaker 12: No, we're gonna call her Dereka like we've been calling you.
- 17:54Speaker 12: Name your baby d d let's call your baby DD.
- 17:57Speaker 11: Is you change y'all?
- 17:58Speaker 12: Y'all change y'all baby name at the school?
- 18:00Speaker 9: I'm not calling. I'm not calling.
- 18:01Speaker 7: I don't give what you.
- 18:03Speaker 12: Call it, but I'm not changing my baby name.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Hey, listen, okay, look, I'm trying to call you and
- 18:08Speaker 9: handle this like adults, you know, but you're saying the
- 18:10Speaker 9: city You're gonna push my button to take me to
- 18:12Speaker 9: another level.
- 18:13Speaker 12: You ain't calling me trying to hand you just ask
- 18:16Speaker 12: me to change my baby name, call my baby something

- 46:38Speaker 2: We headed to the church today. We are headed to
- 46:41Speaker 2: the church. We're gonna call the pastor and let him
- 46:44Speaker 2: know that it is time that we're gonna have to
- 46:46Speaker 2: repoll the pews. We're gonna have to repoll the pews.
- 46:50Speaker 2: The pews have not been paid and we're gonna have
- 46:53Speaker 2: to come and take the pews at the church. So
- 46:56Speaker 2: I'm so sorry, Pastor, that's gonna happen, Yes, sir, Yes,
- 47:02Speaker 2: we're gonna repold these pews, all right, past you much?
- 47:06Speaker 9: What what like?
- 47:08Speaker 2: The pastor can't get it. The pastor can get it.
- 47:12Speaker 2: You can get prank pastor. It can happen to you.
- 47:15Speaker 2: All your pastors are rolling around this morning. Yes, you
- 47:18Speaker 2: can get it. It can happen to you.
- 47:22Speaker 9: Let's go. I'm trying to reach a pastor, Pastor Wilkins,
- 47:28Speaker 9: and this is doctor Wilkins. You're the you're the pastor
- 47:32Speaker 9: of Baptist Church, Am I right? Mathe shirk?
- 47:35Speaker 14: That's correct? How can I help?
- 47:37Speaker 9: Okay, my name is Daniel and I'm calling from a
- 47:41Speaker 9: RCS which is a church supply, and we have an
- 47:45Speaker 9: outstanding bill here that we wanted to bring to you
- 47:47Speaker 9: all's attention for like twenty three thousand dollars for your
- 47:51Speaker 9: pews that has not been paid. So we wanted to
- 47:54Speaker 9: see not to cut you out. Yeah, yeah, Daniel from
- 48:00Speaker 9: RCS Church supply, Sir, that's this is actually what you
- 48:04Speaker 9: guys got your cues.
- 48:06Speaker 14: Okay, our standing bill for twenty three times Well, first
- 48:10Speaker 14: of all, that's normally all our standing bills are handled
- 48:14Speaker 14: by our finance department. You know, you wouldn't to speak
- 48:17Speaker 14: to our treasurer and they were able to.
- 48:18Speaker 9: Help you with that. Evidently sure that this hasn't been
- 48:21Speaker 9: taken care of in this matter when it comes to
- 48:23Speaker 9: these pews, because like I stayed it before, you guys
- 48:26Speaker 9: owed twenty three thousand dollars on these cues, and I
- 48:28Speaker 9: think this was probably twelve to thirteen years ago, so
- 48:31Speaker 9: maybe this was something before you got there, But nevertheless,
- 48:35Speaker 9: they're still an outstanding billing. Right now, we're actually going
- 48:38Speaker 9: to be repossessing these pews as of early seven o'clock
- 48:42Speaker 9: Sunday morning, not.
- 48:45Speaker 14: Far this Sunday morning. Now we have the Women Days
- 48:48Speaker 14: Missionary is here today and also Funday.
- 48:51Speaker 9: We have like our pick and then you have a
- 48:55Speaker 9: lot of things and you actually run it off your
- 48:57Speaker 9: schedule to me that that's really not my her and
- 49:01Speaker 9: maybe your Women's Day or whatever is is gonna y'all
- 49:03Speaker 9: gonna do it standing up because right now we're not
- 49:05Speaker 9: going to do it.
- 49:06Speaker 14: You're not understanding me. See did you say twelve or
- 49:09Speaker 14: thirteen years ago?
- 49:10Speaker 9: Sir?
- 49:11Speaker 14: Well, I've been the past here for ten years and
- 49:13Speaker 14: you know, you know, like.
- 49:16Speaker 9: Occurred or you got there. But nevertheless, the bill is
- 49:20Speaker 9: still outstanding and these cues need to be taken care
- 49:23Speaker 9: of now. If y'all don't have the twenty three thousand dollars.
- 49:26Speaker 9: Then I got to come pick these cues up Sunday morning. Sir,
- 49:29Speaker 9: we got I don't go over there.
- 49:31Speaker 14: You're not hearing me. And first of all, this is
- 49:33Speaker 14: my private number. How did you get this number?
- 49:35Speaker 9: So your your numbers here in the books as a contact, No,
- 49:38Speaker 9: this is this.
- 49:39Speaker 14: Is I only get this out to very few people,
- 49:41Speaker 14: and I know none of them will will give our numbers.
- 49:44Speaker 14: So that's that's an issue right there. And second of all,
- 49:46Speaker 14: if you're talking about coming in our church Sunday morning
- 49:49Speaker 14: to take our pews, uh, that's not something you really
- 49:52Speaker 14: want to do, sir.
- 49:53Speaker 9: I have to do my job the same way you
- 49:55Speaker 9: get up on Sunday morning and you have to do yours.
- 49:58Speaker 9: I have to do mine. So my my job is
- 50:00Speaker 9: to get these views back because you guys are twenty
- 50:02Speaker 9: three thousand dollars in the ribs.
- 50:04Speaker 14: No tyling to tell you, I ain't always been been
- 50:07Speaker 14: a preacher. Now you come to my church and you
- 50:10Speaker 14: touch them pews, I'm gonna come out that proof bit
- 50:12Speaker 14: on you.
- 50:13Speaker 9: I'm not here to go to what you used to
- 50:16Speaker 9: be and what you are now. I'm nothing to go
- 50:18Speaker 9: back and forth with you on that. The bottom line consequences.
- 50:22Speaker 9: You don't want to deal with Sign because you know I, oh,
- 50:25Speaker 9: hold on, hold on, hold on, let me let me
- 50:27Speaker 9: come down, because you know you about to make me
- 50:29Speaker 9: tay some words that I've been delivered from. Thank God,
- 50:33Speaker 9: I'm going to deliver them pews away from you on Sunday. Now.
- 50:37Speaker 9: I got to come and pick them pews up. That's
- 50:39Speaker 9: the bottom line. Do you have twenty three thousand Sunday morning?
- 50:43Speaker 14: Twenty three thousands? Understand that's not the issue. The issue
- 50:46Speaker 14: is you have no business calling me on my personal phone.
- 50:49Speaker 14: I'm in my METI pration time right now, trying to
- 50:51Speaker 14: get concentrated for you know, my message that after deliver
- 50:55Speaker 14: later this afternoon, so we need all of our cumors.
- 50:57Speaker 9: Okay, Well let me ask you something, sir. Do you
- 50:59Speaker 9: have after twenty three thousand dollars that you can give
- 51:02Speaker 9: me Sunday morning and then you can continue whatever it
- 51:05Speaker 9: is you have going on that day. Other than that,
- 51:08Speaker 9: I'm gonna have to take them pills.
- 51:10Speaker 14: I got to call me between dollars. If you're not listening, Sign,
- 51:13Speaker 14: that ain't my bill, I ain't paying it, you ain't
- 51:16Speaker 14: touching my cues.
- 51:18Speaker 9: I'm not gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying
- 51:21Speaker 9: to respects. What's pastor will trying to respect you? First remend,
- 51:26Speaker 9: doctor Wilkins.
- 51:27Speaker 14: I appreciate this. You call me in my name, Reverend
- 51:30Speaker 14: doctor Wilkins.
- 51:31Speaker 9: Okay, Reverend doctor Wilkins. Now, first of all, I'm coming
- 51:36Speaker 9: up there Sunday. Now I'm hoping I only have to
- 51:38Speaker 9: lay hands on these pews. Now I gotta lay hands
- 51:41Speaker 9: on something else. Then I got to do what I
- 51:43Speaker 9: got to see.

- 56:44Speaker 1: Let up, all right, nephew, you hold on tight.
- 56:47Speaker 9: Two.
- 56:47Speaker 10: We're gonna hear from you in just a few The
- 56:49Speaker 10: subject is my boyfriend looks like his uncle. My boyfriend
- 56:55Speaker 10: looks like his uncle, all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 56:58Speaker 10: just moved to Nashville in January, and I found a
- 57:01Speaker 10: nice apartment and a new boyfriend. My older coworker introduced
- 57:05Speaker 10: me to her son, who had just gotten divorced. He
- 57:08Speaker 10: started showing me around town, and after a few weeks
- 57:11Speaker 10: of casually going out with him, we decided to have sex.
- 57:15Speaker 10: He needed it as much as I did, but when
- 57:17Speaker 10: he tried to come back for seconds, I told him
- 57:19Speaker 10: that he had to be my boyfriend first. We've been
- 57:22Speaker 10: dating for three months and I met some of his friends,
- 57:25Speaker 10: his father, and his uncle. He and his uncle could
- 57:29Speaker 10: be twins. They have the same hazel eyes and dimples
- 57:32Speaker 10: in both cheeks. They walk and talk alike too. I
- 57:36Speaker 10: told my boyfriend that he looks more like his uncle
- 57:39Speaker 10: than his dad, and he laughed and said he's.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Heard that his whole life.
- 57:44Speaker 10: He told me that he and his dad don't really
- 57:46Speaker 10: get along, but he's very close to his uncle. As
- 57:50Speaker 10: time went on, I told him that I stopped hanging
- 57:52Speaker 10: around his mom at work because she was asking questions
- 57:55Speaker 10: about our relationship. He said that his mom needs to
- 57:59Speaker 10: worry about her own own crazy love life. I did
- 58:02Speaker 10: not know what it meant by what he meant by
- 58:04Speaker 10: that at the time, but I think I figured it
- 58:06Speaker 10: out the other day. I ran into his mom as
- 58:08Speaker 10: I came back from lunch. She was getting out of
- 58:11Speaker 10: my boyfriend's uncle's car, who happens to be her brother
- 58:14Speaker 10: in law. I went to say hello, without realizing that
- 58:18Speaker 10: they were trying to avoid me. She asked me not
- 58:21Speaker 10: to tell my boyfriend that she went to lunch with
- 58:24Speaker 10: his uncle. Since then, she's been avoiding me at work,
- 58:27Speaker 10: and my imagination is running wild. What if she has
- 58:31Speaker 10: been having sex with the uncle for years and he
- 58:34Speaker 10: is my boyfriend's real daddy. What's going on? Should I
- 58:38Speaker 10: tell my boyfriend what I saw? No, because, like he said.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Earlier, he's been told that his whole life. Please stay
- 58:46Speaker 1: out of this. You just moved here.
- 58:48Speaker 10: This is not your business like this. Your boyfriend is
- 58:51Speaker 10: not stupid. He's been hearing this his whole life, that
- 58:54Speaker 10: he looks like his uncle. You look just like your daddy. No,
- 58:57Speaker 10: you look just like your uncle. Okay, that's what he's
- 59:00Speaker 10: been hearing his whole life. He might already know the
- 59:03Speaker 10: truth already, he said, he and his uncle are very close,
- 59:06Speaker 10: and he doesn't get along with his dad. Then, when
- 59:09Speaker 10: you told him his mom was trying to get all
- 59:11Speaker 10: up in your business, he said she should worry about
- 59:14Speaker 10: her own crazy love life.
- 59:16Speaker 1: So it looks like what you suspect is real, But.
- 59:19Speaker 10: It's only new to you because you're the new person
- 59:22Speaker 10: that just moved to Nashville, and the new person who
- 59:25Speaker 10: just started dating him. That's their family drama, not yours.
- 59:30Speaker 10: So you've cracked the case. But again I say stay
- 59:33Speaker 10: out of it. Okay, now you know, now what if
- 59:35Speaker 10: you tell him?
- 59:36Speaker 9: Then what?
- 59:37Speaker 1: All right? They already know Tommy what you gout?
- 59:40Speaker 2: Oh love time. It's a hot mess. But here's the problem.
- 59:47Speaker 2: All of this, this scandal has been working beautifully. It's
- 59:50Speaker 2: been working fine. But now you Finn to come in
- 59:53Speaker 2: and disrupt all of this because you didnet pieced it together.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Now you want to say something. This would kill me
- 59:59Speaker 2: by people when they find out something. This ain't got
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: nothing to do with you. Way out of this. You
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: just got to nasty. You're supposed to be You're supposed
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: to be eating hot chicken. That's what you're supposed to
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: be doing. You just got there. You're supposed to be
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: going to Zaniest comedy club. You just got to nasty.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: You're supposed to be trying to find out what Dolly
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Parton doing. You just got there. The grand old operator,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: that's what you're supposed to be doing. While you now
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Uncle nears am I right? Uncle Nero's that's the that's
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: the black owned looker. You're supposed to be touring that
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: you're supposed to be doing stuff like that. But now
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: you gonna find you a nice little boyfriend his mamma.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Then hook y'all up. You already know that boy's daddy
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: ain't his daddy. You know his uncle. It's his uncle,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: his uncle daddy. It is what it is, Okay, it's
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: uncle daddy. His daddy is not his daddy, his uncle
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: his daddy. And we all know this. It goes on
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: in a lot of the families.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: It is what it is.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: But why do you have to go tell the boy
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: what probably the whole family already know. Now you done
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: caught the boy mama with with with the uncle. Now
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: you are in the middle of a beautiful scandal. I
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: love a scandal that's going off perfectly until somebody come
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: in here and mess it up. This is a good thing.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: People had a great thing until you came along.
- 1:01:17Speaker 9: This is good.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Ain't nothing like it. Ain't nothing like a good mess around.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: But until somebody get in the middle of it and
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: mess it up. And if always somebody that ain't, they
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: ain't doing it. See the people that's doing it, they
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: having a wonderful time. You step in and you done
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: messed it all up. This is a good thing. Everything
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: is good. Now you done showed up and now he
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: here your boyfriend for three months, and you need to
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: tell him about his family that he probably already know. Now,
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: so now uncle daddy he got the gun on find
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: out about uncle Daddy that he probably already done. He
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: walked like him. Everybody with hazel lies looking like all.
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: Of them do.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: They all have the same eye, all of.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Them got the same features death us. They all walk
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: the same. People with hazel lies are all look like
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: why you? Why are you in there? This ain't got
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: nothing to do with you? Bridge? Oh? Yes, standing when
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: people in the other people's business. Okay, let's just say,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: everybody messing around, what does it have to do with you.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: You found a good boyfriend, you like him, he like you.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: That's all that matters. Then keep it going. Keep your
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: mom shut. Shut your mom.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: What about his mom when she was seeing his uncle
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: and she ran into him.
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: Over there, she.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Probably almost peed on themselves, because why because you in
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: their business. Now we got a newcomer that don't know
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: how to be quiet. Say what, No, No, I'm just saying,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: people don't put me in it. I'm just saying some
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: of y'all ain't never been in the scandal. When you
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: can go to the next person, please can I go
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: to the next please hang out?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: That's why I don't.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Please let us I get to him and it's too personable.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: Part two of our response coming up to Today's Strawberry
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: Letter at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: subject my boyfriend looks like his uncle. We'll be back
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: now introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: electric suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Visit HONDAIUSA dot com for more details. EPA estimated rings

- 1:03:45Speaker 2: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: All right, it is time to recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: the subject my boyfriend looks like his husband. Before we
- 1:03:55Speaker 10: get to it, I just want to shout out the
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: uncle daddy and my family. My cousin Marlon, shout out tomorrow.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I got an uncle daddy.
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: We got an uncle daddy. And he does a phenomenal
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: job with his nieces and nephews. Phenomenal job. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: yeah yeah.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: This letter is from a woman who just moved to Nashville, Tennessee.
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: She just moved this January. She found a nice apartment,
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: she said, a brand new boyfriend who had just got
- 1:04:23Speaker 10: divorced one of her co workers, older coworkers, she said,
- 1:04:27Speaker 10: introduced her to her son, and so they've been kicking it.
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: They had sex one night and then he wanted to
- 1:04:33Speaker 10: come back for seconds, but she said no, not until
- 1:04:36Speaker 10: you're my boyfriend. So now he's her boyfriend. They've been
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: dating for three months. He introduced him, He introduced her
- 1:04:42Speaker 10: to his family, his friends, and he come to find out,
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: looks just like his uncle. They both have hazel eyes,
- 1:04:50Speaker 10: they both have dimples. They walk and talk alike too,
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: and they get along really well. Meanwhile, the man who's
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: supposed to be the boyfriend's day, they don't get along.
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: The boyfriend in the day and his supposed daddy they
- 1:05:05Speaker 10: do not get along, but he and his uncle, who
- 1:05:07Speaker 10: looks like its twin, they get along. So this is
- 1:05:10Speaker 10: the woman who just moved to Nashville thinks that maybe
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: the uncle is his daddy instead of the man. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: thinks it's his daddy, And she wants to open up
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: this whole can of worms and tell him and let
- 1:05:22Speaker 10: the family know she knows and all of this. And
- 1:05:24Speaker 10: we're just saying, no, this is not your business.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: You just moved here.
- 1:05:30Speaker 10: You just got to Nashville. Concentrate on something else, and
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: leave these people's business alone. That's basically where we are. Junior,
- 1:05:37Speaker 10: you're up. You know you're frustrated already.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: I don't this is probably is.
- 1:05:44Speaker 14: I don't.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I don't really like nosy people.
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: Just what you nosy for?
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: Why are you so invested? You just got to Nashville.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: It's three months. Let me ask you a question. Why
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: did you have to move?
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: Probably because you was no You probably got kicked out.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Are you from for stuff like this?
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Do you care this much?
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: It just ain't the first This has been going on
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: in black history and families for you since the thirties.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: What do we care?
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: Let me just give you a personal situation We just
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: found out my mama was fifty something, that her real
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: daddy wasn't her daddy.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: This ain't nothing new. My mama know the man that
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: raised up, that's her daddy. The other man ain't by
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: my daddy.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: Once told me, said, Mama, real dad lived behind your grandmother.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: So I'm cutting y'all looking over the fist.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Somebody looked just like me. But I kept going. I
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: ain't asked no questions.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I asked no questions. Yeah, I'm not.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: I'm not joking.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: He lives.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: He lived right behind bellfraid. I swear God on the corner,
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: that's your dad.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: And you listen my grandfather. The other man, I thought,
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: my grandfather. What my grandfather?
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: And he didn't look nothing like me?
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: But the man behind my grandmother looked just like me.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: By of his day. Was he passed on. I just
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: I didn't even meet it.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: Suggest But when I was cutting that yard, I looked
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: over that fence, we looked at each other.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Out of eye, and that moment, nah, ain't no way,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: this is my dad.

- 1:11:00Speaker 4: who that man's daddy was.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: And let me tell you about me.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: I was seventeen years old. I'm seventeen years old playing
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: in my football game. This man comes to my game.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: This man comes to my game. After the game is over.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: I just had about two touchdowns, about one hundred and

- 1:11:18Speaker 4: him in the group, and now I recognize the other people.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: That's my daddy, that's my mama, that's my grandmother.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: But who is this man? This man said, I am

- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Where have you been?
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: Nah?
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: I said, na, no, this other man my grandfather. Ain't
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: that right?
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: Dad?
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: He said, uh uh what he's my papau for real,
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: I'd never matter at the game. I found out at
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: the game. That's how I found out who my real
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: grandfather was.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: Now he want to make up for lost time talking
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: about you will come by so we can play catch.

- 1:12:07Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: See it's just normal. There's nothing wrong with that, you
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: know what. Matter of fact, I remember going to his funeral.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: I don't even know why I was there, everybody crying.
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: I had no idea. I didn't know the man.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Respect I paid my respects uh huh.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: But I didn't even know the man.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Confusing because there was some other grandchildren and some other kids.

- 1:14:12Speaker 10: my neighborhood and one of them startled my date. As
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: we got out of the car. The other night, she
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: urinated on herself and I tried to act like it
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: was no big deal, but she leaked all the way
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: into my bathroom. I gave her some jogging pants to
- 1:14:28Speaker 10: change into, and I put her wet pants in a bag.
- 1:14:32Speaker 10: She asked if she could wash them at my house,
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: and I said no, I don't know her well enough
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: and I didn't want her peepee pants in my washing machine.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Was I wrong?
- 1:14:42Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Oh you file?
