Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Remember just a couple of years ago, when Black Lives
- 0:03Speaker 1: Matters started demanding that we defund the police, and then
- 0:07Speaker 1: people actually started doing it. Elected officials started jumping on
- 0:11Speaker 1: the bandwagon, saying that we need to have bail reform
- 0:14Speaker 1: and prison reform and prosecution reform, and then we decided
- 0:19Speaker 1: we'll just start abolishing police departments. So what happened because
- 0:24Speaker 1: of that in cities where they started defunding the police,
- 0:28Speaker 1: we know exactly what happened. Anarchy has broken out. Now.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi, who has supported Black Lives Matter, who has
- 0:35Speaker 1: supported defunding the police initiatives even in her home city,
- 0:40Speaker 1: they've got real problems right now. How bad is it?
- 0:44Speaker 1: Even Nancy Pelosi has now admitted for the first time
- 0:48Speaker 1: that there is an attitude of lawlessness in our country.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Fact is that there is an attitude of lawlessness in
- 0:57Speaker 1: our country that springs from I don't know where. I'm sorry,
- 1:01Speaker 1: you don't know where. You don't know where this is
- 1:05Speaker 1: coming from. Really, you have no idea, no clue where
- 1:08Speaker 1: this is coming from. It all, well, let me just
- 1:11Speaker 1: remind you of where it's coming from. It's coming from you.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It's coming from people like you who have been saying
- 1:18Speaker 1: over and over and over and over again that you
- 1:20Speaker 1: are totally okay with lawlessness because you want to defund
- 1:23Speaker 1: the police. You've demonized as a police, You've you've turned
- 1:26Speaker 1: them into the worst people in the world. You've told
- 1:28Speaker 1: the society that you're not supposed to respect police. You've
- 1:32Speaker 1: indoctrinated in children that the police are somehow the bad guys.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And now you want to say that there's an attitude
- 1:38Speaker 1: of lawlessness in this country, which we agree on, there's
- 1:40Speaker 1: bipartisan support for that. But the exact same time you
- 1:44Speaker 1: want to say you don't know where it came from.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The fact is that there is an attitude of lawlessness
- 1:51Speaker 1: in a country that springs from I don't know where.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Maybe you do. I do know Nancy came from. You.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Let's go to San Francisco real quick and just talk
- 2:02Speaker 1: about how bad things are in San Francisco and the
- 2:07Speaker 1: robbery infested areas of San Francisco that's Nancy Pelosi's hometown,
- 2:12Speaker 1: as well as Oakland, California. Some residents are so fearful
- 2:16Speaker 1: now of having their cars broken into in broad daylight
- 2:18Speaker 1: or at night, doesn't even matter that they're deliberately leaving
- 2:22Speaker 1: their car trunks open so the robbers won't shatter their windows. Quote.
- 2:28Speaker 1: We see the aftermath of car break ins all too often,
- 2:31Speaker 1: windows smash, glasses shattered. But now some people said they're
- 2:35Speaker 1: just so fed up with a lawlessness that they're purposely
- 2:38Speaker 1: leaving their trunks open, their car windows rolled down, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: the cars unlocked, hoping that that will at least spare
- 2:46Speaker 1: them the hefty bill to get it fixed. People have
- 2:50Speaker 1: been posting signs on their cars begging quote, please use
- 2:53Speaker 1: the door or please do not break glass. Nothing inside.
- 2:57Speaker 1: You can check one witnessing trunk left wide open posts
- 3:01Speaker 1: on social media. Imagine having to clean out your car
- 3:03Speaker 1: and leaving it open and public just to peep, just
- 3:07Speaker 1: so people won't break your windows. San Francisco, we're looking
- 3:12Speaker 1: sad man. Move over to Oakland. Oakland's deputy interer and
- 3:17Speaker 1: police chief a prize that people were leaving their trunks open,
- 3:22Speaker 1: admitted it doesn't really surprise me. Former deputy San Francisco
- 3:27Speaker 1: Police Chief Garrett tom who spent nearly forty years in
- 3:30Speaker 1: the police force, said he had never seen anything like
- 3:33Speaker 1: it what they're seeing right now, commenting that leaving trucks
- 3:37Speaker 1: trunks open was an invitation or disaster, adding, they could
- 3:41Speaker 1: steal your batteries or go into your glove compartment, find
- 3:45Speaker 1: out where you live. If they leave their trunk open
- 3:47Speaker 1: some cars, depending on what kind of car you have,
- 3:50Speaker 1: you still can get inside the interior San Francisco Police Department.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Since they went defund the police has now reported that
- 4:00Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one they have seen a thirty two
- 4:03Speaker 1: percent increase in car break ins a twenty five percent
- 4:07Speaker 1: increase in auto burglaries compared to twenty twenty. In Oakland,
- 4:12Speaker 1: twenty twenty one has seen a twenty seven percent increase
- 4:15Speaker 1: in both categories over last year. ABC seven put it
- 4:20Speaker 1: this way on TV. We see the aftermath of car
- 4:23Speaker 1: break ins all too often windows smashed, glass shattered. But
- 4:27Speaker 1: now some people are getting so fed up they're leaving
- 4:30Speaker 1: their trunks open, hoping that'll at least spare them the
- 4:33Speaker 1: hefty bill to get it fixed. Call it the price
- 4:38Speaker 1: of parking in the Bay Area. Racing for a break in.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Everything is broken, people here at least try to be persuasive,
- 4:45Speaker 1: writing please use the door, or just flat out big,
- 4:48Speaker 1: please don't break the glass, nothing inside. Yet it still happens. Sadly,
- 4:53Speaker 1: even while you're driving, just waiting for the light to
- 4:56Speaker 1: turn green. This smash and grab happened two weeks ago
- 4:59Speaker 1: in Japantown, but now it's come to this. Trunks left
- 5:03Speaker 1: open and broad daylight in Oakland. A witness writing, imagine
- 5:06Speaker 1: having to clean out your car and leaving it open
- 5:09Speaker 1: just so people won't break your windows. It doesn't really surprising.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Oakland's deputy Interim Police Chief, Drenn and Lindsay says it's
- 5:16Speaker 1: the first she's heard of it. But it's happening in
- 5:18Speaker 1: San Francisco too. Well, we're in different times. That's unbelievable. Former,
- 5:25Speaker 1: by the way, we're in different times. It's unbelievable. That's
- 5:29Speaker 1: where this former deputy chief said, Garrett Tom It's unbelievable.
- 5:33Speaker 1: We're in different times. So what are the different times?
- 5:35Speaker 1: What change? You got rid of the police? When you
- 5:38Speaker 1: get rid of the police, total anarchy breaks out now.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Pelosi says she has no idea where America's increase in
- 5:45Speaker 1: crime is coming from. That's right. House speaker NaNs. Pelosi
- 5:50Speaker 1: said she didn't know where the increase of lawlessness in
- 5:52Speaker 1: American cities is coming, and she said at this Wednesday
- 5:55Speaker 1: press conference, Pelosi was asked about democratic San Francisco mayor
- 6:01Speaker 1: Breed calling defunding the police bull blank and launching an
- 6:06Speaker 1: emergency police intervention targeting San Francisco's massive rising crime and
- 6:12Speaker 1: drug problem issues and rates. It's absolutely outrageous. Obviously, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: cannot continue, Pelosi responded, cannot continue. Really, it is that
- 6:23Speaker 1: there is an attitude of lawlessness in our country that
- 6:28Speaker 1: springs from I don't know where. Maybe you do. Then
- 6:34Speaker 1: she says, quote, we cannot have that lawlessness become the norm. Well,
- 6:39Speaker 1: it is now because you guys have defined the police.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You've demon not as a police, You've allowed the police
- 6:44Speaker 1: to be attacked. You won't let the police do their jobs.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And then the prosecutors that are all liberal and woke,
- 6:49Speaker 1: even when you catch people doing flash mob robberies, you
- 6:52Speaker 1: let them all go. You've done bail, reformer, you can
- 6:55Speaker 1: commit Hainah's crimes and immediately get out of jail. And
- 6:59Speaker 1: these people have they've coordinated with each other, she went
- 7:02Speaker 1: on to say, and they plan traffic patterns and the
- 7:04Speaker 1: rest so that they can reach their goal and depart
- 7:07Speaker 1: very quickly. She added, So she understands it, folks, And
- 7:11Speaker 1: some of it is again high level stores, as the
- 7:13Speaker 1: retailers have told us, and some of it is your
- 7:15Speaker 1: local Walgreens, but none of it is acceptable, and again
- 7:19Speaker 1: it has to be stopped. Pelosi said, well, then why
- 7:21Speaker 1: don't you stop it? Quote, this isn't like somebody stealing
- 7:25Speaker 1: something to go home because they don't have money to buy. Oh,
- 7:28Speaker 1: so now we're saying it's okay to rob people and
- 7:31Speaker 1: to steal things if you don't have the money to
- 7:33Speaker 1: buy things. She says, this is about stealing for profits.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So let me get this straight. The Pelosi, the Speaker
- 7:39Speaker 1: of the House, third in command of the United States government,
- 7:43Speaker 1: has just said that if you need something, it's totally
- 7:46Speaker 1: okay to rob, but if you're doing it for profit,
- 7:51Speaker 1: that's unacceptable. Man. That's gonna be a great message that
- 7:56Speaker 1: is clearly going to resonnate with a lot of people.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That is gonna have a significant impact on stopping crime
- 8:03Speaker 1: in San Francisco where you got to leave your trunk
- 8:05Speaker 1: open hoping that people won't smash out the glass of
- 8:08Speaker 1: your car. Number three in command, Pelosi also mentioned an
- 8:12Speaker 1: upcoming bill on cracking down on thefts and online sales,
- 8:15Speaker 1: because that's what everybody's really caring about right now about
- 8:19Speaker 1: twenty four thieves whereveryone's still up to thirty one thousand
- 8:21Speaker 1: dollars of goods from cvs during fall of twenty twenty
- 8:24Speaker 1: in northern California. She says. Within the build the Energy
- 8:27Speaker 1: and Commerce Committee has something called inform legislation that require
- 8:32Speaker 1: those who are selling online, especially to establish their legitimacy
- 8:36Speaker 1: as to where the products came from, because that would
- 8:39Speaker 1: allow people to not have to steal from them and
- 8:42Speaker 1: then put it online and make profits off of it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So that's your fix, not more police not actually prosecuting
- 8:48Speaker 1: the criminals when they commit Hainda's crimes. Now you want
- 8:50Speaker 1: to start a new online database that before I can
- 8:53Speaker 1: list something for sale on eBay or Craig's list, I
- 8:57Speaker 1: gotta give you my identity, and somehow you think that's
- 8:59Speaker 1: gonnas all the problems. Sure, okay, I got it. Now
- 9:04Speaker 1: makes total sense, She says. The Judicial Committee has a
- 9:09Speaker 1: bill Save Shopping, which addresses the same problem and in
- 9:13Speaker 1: of a different way in terms of holding platforms accountable
- 9:16Speaker 1: and those selling things accountable for the prominence of those goods.
- 9:20Speaker 1: She went on to say, out of the question that
- 9:22Speaker 1: people should be able to think that they can just
- 9:25Speaker 1: steal things profit for them and not have any accountability.
- 9:28Speaker 1: That's wrong. Now let's go back to the statement for
- 9:30Speaker 1: a moment ago. She says, this is like somebody stealing
- 9:33Speaker 1: something to go This isn't like somebody, I should say,
- 9:36Speaker 1: stealing something to go home because they don't have money
- 9:39Speaker 1: to buy it. This is about stealing for profit. So
- 9:43Speaker 1: we are excusing people stealing things if you need it
- 9:46Speaker 1: because you don't have the money to buy it. Now,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I could be a Louis of time. But as long
- 9:50Speaker 1: as you take it home and you don't sell it
- 9:51Speaker 1: on eBay, she understands why you're doing it. You do
- 9:57Speaker 1: a flashmob to go get some new air Jordan's for example,
- 10:01Speaker 1: as long as you're gonna wear them, she understands it.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Just don't sell it on Craigslist, because that's when she's
- 10:08Speaker 1: really mad at you. Nancy Pelosi is clearly making a
- 10:15Speaker 1: play for criminals to support the Democratic Party. That's what
- 10:20Speaker 1: they've been doing really for the last several years. Black
- 10:23Speaker 1: Lives Matter was about criminal activity, was about making sure
- 10:28Speaker 1: that criminals were not held accountable and family members of criminals,
- 10:32Speaker 1: for a quote, petty crimes would not be held accountable
- 10:35Speaker 1: and therefore they would vote for Democrats. That's when we
- 10:38Speaker 1: started defunding the police and demonizing the police. We now
- 10:43Speaker 1: have a test case, folks. This is the test case. Right.
- 10:47Speaker 1: We now know what the test case is. We understand it, right,
- 10:51Speaker 1: we comprehend it. The test case is pretty clear now, folks.
- 10:57Speaker 1: We can see it. It's anarchy's total psychotic nature of
- 11:04Speaker 1: people in the country. Listen to another report from ABC
- 11:07Speaker 1: seven in the Burbank area, just from last night. Yeah, Brandy,
- 11:12Speaker 1: this shows how bad the problem is and how desperate
- 11:15Speaker 1: some shoppers are getting. We're seeing this primarily up in
- 11:19Speaker 1: the Bay Area. People are literally leaving the trunks of
- 11:21Speaker 1: their cars open or the hatch on their suv open.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And the idea is that thieves will see there's nothing
- 11:27Speaker 1: worth taking in the car and they won't be smashing
- 11:30Speaker 1: windows and rummaging through vehicles. And that may be one answer,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but the downside, of course, is it also makes it
- 11:37Speaker 1: really easy to steal somebody's car. Wow, we're in different times.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That's unbelievable. I mean, if they leave their trunk open,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you know, some car, depending on what kind of car
- 11:50Speaker 1: you have, you still can get inside to the interior. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 1: a lot of newer cars, those back seats fold down
- 11:58Speaker 1: into the trunk. It's really easy to go through the
- 12:00Speaker 1: trunk into the vehicle then steal the car. So that's
- 12:03Speaker 1: a real concern for these people who are taking this action.
- 12:06Speaker 1: But again it illustrates how bad the crime problem is
- 12:09Speaker 1: and how desperate people are becoming, how desperate people are becoming.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Here's my question for Nancy Pelosian, for all these other morons, right,
- 12:19Speaker 1: my question for you is why aren't you prosecuting these people.
- 12:25Speaker 1: San Francisco Mayor had to come out because people are
- 12:30Speaker 1: now saying, maybe we need to recall London breed. And
- 12:33Speaker 1: she said this in response to the out of control
- 12:35Speaker 1: crime in every category. It's time that the rain of
- 12:40Speaker 1: criminals who are destroying our city, it is time for
- 12:43Speaker 1: it to come to an end, and it comes to
- 12:46Speaker 1: an end when we take the steps to be more
- 12:50Speaker 1: aggressive with law enforcement. Now, this is the same woman
- 12:54Speaker 1: that was in favor of defunding the police. It's the
- 12:56Speaker 1: same woman that stood with Black Lives Matter. This's the
- 12:59Speaker 1: same woman that allows out for anarchy in her city
- 13:01Speaker 1: to reign for the last several years only because the
- 13:05Speaker 1: political winds of even the woke, homeless, crazy socialist tyrant
- 13:10Speaker 1: left in San Francisco has said they've had enough of
- 13:13Speaker 1: this crap. As she now come out and say, I'm
- 13:15Speaker 1: gonna be tough on crime, really more aggressive with the
- 13:19Speaker 1: changes in our policies. What you're gonna actually like, I
- 13:22Speaker 1: don't know, stop criminals and charge them at crimes and
- 13:24Speaker 1: not have bail reform where as soon as you catch them,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you don't even let them stay in jail for eight
- 13:29Speaker 1: hours or eight minutes. And less tolerant of all that
- 13:34Speaker 1: has destroyed our city. Oh, she's mad. Now, folks, we
- 13:38Speaker 1: are gonna be less tolerant. Yeah, I'm getting angry. Now.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I've been in favor of defund the police. I've been
- 13:44Speaker 1: in favor of you know, bail reform. But now now
- 13:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna cuss on TV to show you
- 13:50Speaker 1: I ain't playing that has destroyed our city. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:55Speaker 1: well you help destroy it, ma'am. You and Nancy Pelosi,
- 13:58Speaker 1: y'all are all friends. Now. Yeah, I'm tired of this.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You know, I love it when politicians drop drop curse words,
- 14:04Speaker 1: because you know, it's like total fabrication when they do it.
- 14:09Speaker 1: All that has destroyed our city. Yeah, you're the one
- 14:12Speaker 1: that created the destroyed your city. That's on you, ma'am.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That's that's straight up on you. Peter doocey uh used
- 14:26Speaker 1: the Fox News Christmas tree being burned to the ground
- 14:29Speaker 1: to show how much hypocrisy there is from the left. Now,
- 14:33Speaker 1: remember they caught the guy that caught the Christmas tree
- 14:36Speaker 1: on fire, and the White House has now been pressed
- 14:39Speaker 1: on the nationwide spike in violent crime and crime, and
- 14:42Speaker 1: they use examples like, hey, we got this guy that
- 14:44Speaker 1: burned down our Christmas tree, and this guy immediately got
- 14:47Speaker 1: out of jail. This guy has committed like he's got,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you know, thirty pages rap sheet of all this crap
- 14:53Speaker 1: he's done illegal and they catch him and this is
- 14:56Speaker 1: a guy that has threatened to do it to the
- 14:57Speaker 1: NBC Christmas Tree. And you guys didn't even keep jail
- 15:00Speaker 1: because if your woke reform on bail at the most.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But I guess what good does it do if you're
- 15:05Speaker 1: going to give police departments extra money if they arrest
- 15:09Speaker 1: bad guys and they bring them to jail and then
- 15:12Speaker 1: they're not prosecuted, they're just right back out all the streets.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I think Peter would our focus is on. Remember this
- 15:17Speaker 1: is all part of the bail reform, right, It was
- 15:20Speaker 1: racist to lock people up. It was unfair and unjust
- 15:23Speaker 1: African Americans and minorities that they couldn't afford to get
- 15:26Speaker 1: out of jail when they committed Hamah's crime. So therefore
- 15:28Speaker 1: we decided, or the left decided, we got to have
- 15:30Speaker 1: quote bail reform because it was racist to have a
- 15:34Speaker 1: dollar amount connected with somebody in jail and then keeping
- 15:37Speaker 1: them in jail. They said, you can't do that. So
- 15:40Speaker 1: they decided that part of the Black Lives Matter was
- 15:42Speaker 1: bail reform, and all these woke you know, prosecutors like,
- 15:46Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna let people out of jail automatically.
- 15:49Speaker 1: The police will catch them committing Hama's crimes, burning down
- 15:52Speaker 1: Christmas trees and will immediately let them back down the
- 15:55Speaker 1: streets because it's unfair to hold them because they don't
- 15:58Speaker 1: have any money, assuming that minorities. And by the way,
- 16:01Speaker 1: how racist is that you're you're literally in saying, hey,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we know that black people, and we know that African
- 16:08Speaker 1: Asian people, and we know that Hispanic people, they don't
- 16:10Speaker 1: have any money. That's what you're saying. They don't have cash.
- 16:13Speaker 1: They can't get out of prison. Is easily some white
- 16:16Speaker 1: cracker out there, right, they can't get out of prison.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It's not fair. Are you white people got cash? How
- 16:25Speaker 1: racist is that? Really? You're literally saying that black people
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't have money. How racist is that? And so they said,
- 16:34Speaker 1: we got to have bail reform. We gotta make it
- 16:38Speaker 1: where those that need to get out of prison can
- 16:40Speaker 1: get out of prison based on the color of their skin,
- 16:42Speaker 1: so they will not have to pay cool works for me.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I guess right, This is this is this is what
- 16:51Speaker 1: woke sounds like in real life. Listen to her response,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and is making sure that the local leaders, the police
- 17:01Speaker 1: officers and departments who know what they need for these
- 17:03Speaker 1: communities have the assistance and the funding they need. And
- 17:06Speaker 1: that's what we're working around the clock on. So the
- 17:08Speaker 1: final one would be just in the last week, we
- 17:11Speaker 1: saw a New York closet item about a pickpocket with
- 17:14Speaker 1: more than thirty arrests. Back out on the street, we've
- 17:18Speaker 1: seen an arsonist burned down a half million dollars Christmas
- 17:21Speaker 1: tree in New York City, back out on the streets.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Does the president think that that's good governing? Again? I
- 17:28Speaker 1: think I've spoken to the President's concerns about retail theft.
- 17:31Speaker 1: If you have specific and the actions we've taken for
- 17:34Speaker 1: specific cases, I would point to the local police departments
- 17:37Speaker 1: or the Department of Justice. Go ahead, Kelly on the mansion.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I love it right. We're not going to answer this question.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's what We're going to kick it back to the
- 17:45Speaker 1: local people. We'll just you know, we'll just kick it
- 17:49Speaker 1: back to the local people. And Jen Psaki refuses to
- 17:52Speaker 1: call it Dems who are soft on crime and their
- 17:54Speaker 1: policies that have led to a rise in violent crime
- 17:57Speaker 1: because they were all in favor of this. I think
- 18:00Speaker 1: it's possible that these cities are dealing with these smash
- 18:03Speaker 1: and grab primaries right now with increase in criminal activity
- 18:07Speaker 1: because some prosecutors are too soft on crime. I would say,
- 18:14Speaker 1: we have seen I'm not going to attribute the reasoning
- 18:17Speaker 1: from here. What I will tell you is we have
- 18:19Speaker 1: seen an increase in crime over the course of the pandemic.
- 18:22Speaker 1: The a range of reasons for that, and what we're
- 18:25Speaker 1: for our focus is on is what we can do
- 18:27Speaker 1: to address it. There it is. Yeah, we're not going
- 18:30Speaker 1: to condemn it. We're not gonna We're not gonna say, yes,
- 18:33Speaker 1: soft on crime is a bad policy. We're not gonna
- 18:38Speaker 1: throw our side under the bus for doing what you
- 18:41Speaker 1: just described. Here's another local news report, Fox nine, far
- 18:48Speaker 1: away from San Francisco. This is in Minneapolis where they
- 18:51Speaker 1: defunded the police and then they said, all right, screw it,
- 18:53Speaker 1: We're gonna give money back the police because we can't
- 18:56Speaker 1: keep living like this. It's like a third world country.
- 19:02Speaker 1: A nearby doorbell camera captured the desperate cries tearing through
- 19:08Speaker 1: what was a quiet afternoon near Lake nicolemus The story
- 19:16Speaker 1: behind those screams is even more terrifying. These are stories
- 19:20Speaker 1: you hear about happening to other people. Aaron Karnowski was
- 19:24Speaker 1: getting ready to take her four year old daughter to
- 19:27Speaker 1: dance class last Thursday. After running some errands, She walked
- 19:31Speaker 1: out to her car and saw two men rummaging through
- 19:34Speaker 1: it and a woman in a second vehicle watching. One
- 19:37Speaker 1: of them came behind me, put me in a headlock,
- 19:39Speaker 1: pulled me to my feet. There was a gun pointed
- 19:43Speaker 1: at my head the whole time, with hoods up and
- 19:45Speaker 1: masks on. The two men led Aaron back into her home.
- 19:49Speaker 1: When we walked in, my daughter was standing right there,
- 19:53Speaker 1: so she did see me and a headlock with a
- 19:57Speaker 1: gun with two very scary guys. The entire ordeal was
- 20:02Speaker 1: over in about two minutes. Her car phone and wallet
- 20:06Speaker 1: all stolen, But the real price of this crime cost Aaron,
- 20:09Speaker 1: her husband, Kalin, and their two daughters much more than
- 20:13Speaker 1: any physical possession. I have to take a leave from
- 20:16Speaker 1: work to heal, to process this. That can't be replaced, right,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I mean that's the hard part. Our life has flipped
- 20:27Speaker 1: upside down because of this. The family doesn't want to
- 20:30Speaker 1: leave the place they've called home for fourteen years. They
- 20:33Speaker 1: want accountability on all levels from these perpetrators, from the
- 20:37Speaker 1: city and from the legal system taking crimes like this seriously.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Whether it's manpower or the justice system taking a higher
- 20:47Speaker 1: priority with these something needs to change with they continue
- 20:52Speaker 1: to get more brazen, more violent, and it's only a
- 20:55Speaker 1: matter of time before somebody gets seriously injured or killed. Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: welcome to what happens when you guys defund the police.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Did you think it wasn't gonna happen? Did you? I mean,
- 21:07Speaker 1: I mean really, did you think this wasn't gonna happen?
- 21:09Speaker 1: And let's let's move away from Minneapolis. Let's let's let's
- 21:13Speaker 1: move away from there and go to Chicago. Chicago bus
- 21:18Speaker 1: drivers now can't even do their jobs. Bus drivers are
- 21:23Speaker 1: now demanding more protection police actually be on the buses
- 21:27Speaker 1: because they're being assaulted on such a regular basis. Now,
- 21:31Speaker 1: Chicago is a place where crime is out of control.
- 21:33Speaker 1: They're the murder capital of the country. You get not
- 21:37Speaker 1: just ten or twelve people shot there on the weekends,
- 21:38Speaker 1: it's usually forty or fifty or sixty people shot there
- 21:41Speaker 1: on the weekends. They are also a defund the police city.
- 21:44Speaker 1: They are a bail reform at city. They are a
- 21:46Speaker 1: prison reformed city. The das. They are refusing to prosecute
- 21:52Speaker 1: people that are committing crimes. They're like these flash mob robberies.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So the police are catching them, they're bringing them into
- 22:00Speaker 1: getting book and they're dropping all the charges, letting them
- 22:02Speaker 1: go home. Well, if that happens, why not start beating
- 22:06Speaker 1: up some bus drivers take a list in the local
- 22:08Speaker 1: Fox thirty two news there Yeah, the union that represents
- 22:12Speaker 1: Chicago a CTA bus drivers said they're tired of taking
- 22:15Speaker 1: a beating while simply trying to do their jobs. And
- 22:18Speaker 1: now there, if you will ready to fight back. The
- 22:22Speaker 1: Amalgamated Transit Union is working with about five private security
- 22:26Speaker 1: companies to provide the protection they say they aren't getting
- 22:29Speaker 1: from police or CTA security. They say there've been more
- 22:33Speaker 1: than three hundred incidents of bus drivers being assaulted or
- 22:36Speaker 1: injured this year alone, So starting tonight, the security guards
- 22:40Speaker 1: will be posted at a handful of hotspot routes where
- 22:42Speaker 1: drivers have recently been attacked, like here at the corner
- 22:45Speaker 1: of Washington and Michigan, and they'll check that everything's okay
- 22:49Speaker 1: as the buses pull up. Last week and a veteran
- 22:52Speaker 1: bus driver was badly beaten by some teams who joined
- 22:55Speaker 1: a large flash mob at Millennium Park, and today his
- 22:59Speaker 1: wife spoke at a new conference with Transit Union officials,
- 23:02Speaker 1: saying her husband was just trying to do his job.
- 23:06Speaker 1: There has to be a stand I'm protecting these bus
- 23:09Speaker 1: drivers in a way that you have no idea. I
- 23:12Speaker 1: just hope this never happens to anybody. Enough is enough.
- 23:17Speaker 1: We're fed up, We're tired. All we want to do
- 23:21Speaker 1: is provide y family, not take trips to the emergency room.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Not take trips the emergency room. That bus driver just said,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you look at what's happened under Joe Biden. Crime is up,
- 23:32Speaker 1: gas price are up, illegal crossings are up, and you've
- 23:37Speaker 1: got a president of United States America that's still talking
- 23:42Speaker 1: about Donald Trump. We got mayors who defunded the police
- 23:47Speaker 1: and advocated for all of these reforms who are now furious.
- 23:51Speaker 1: And the reason why they are furious is because the
- 23:53Speaker 1: San Francisco mayor is now saying, just kidding, I didn't
- 23:57Speaker 1: implement any of that. No, No No, Instead, I want you
- 24:00Speaker 1: don't know. I'm mad as hell and I've had enough.
- 24:02Speaker 1: It's time that the reign of criminals who are destroying
- 24:06Speaker 1: our city, it is time for it to come to
- 24:08Speaker 1: an end. And it comes to an end when we
- 24:12Speaker 1: take the steps to be more aggressive with law enforcement,
- 24:18Speaker 1: more aggressive with the changes in our policies, and less
- 24:22Speaker 1: tolerant of all that has destroyed our city. Yeah. Yeah,
- 24:29Speaker 1: let's drop some bombs there that'll tell all these criminals.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm serious. You think it's just Chicago or New York
- 24:38Speaker 1: or San Francisco where this has spread. No, this is
- 24:41Speaker 1: part of the democratic socialist culture. CBS three in Philadelphia,
- 24:49Speaker 1: this is what they're dealing with as the city is
- 24:51Speaker 1: a gun violence crisis continues members of the community called
- 24:55Speaker 1: on the killing to stop. I wouldn't assuse. Anchor Natasha
- 24:58Speaker 1: Brown is in the CBS three News with more Natasha
- 25:01Speaker 1: Well Jessica, students and community groups all stood in silence
- 25:04Speaker 1: today at city Hall hoping there's signs and pictures of
- 25:07Speaker 1: young victims speak volumes. These are just some of the
- 25:10Speaker 1: faces behind the staggering statistics of gun violence in Philadelphia,
- 25:14Speaker 1: the young people who make up the historic level of
- 25:17Speaker 1: murders so far this year. Mackay was killed coming at Burgercade.
- 25:22Speaker 1: We have lost many family members. Veronica Joyner is founder
- 25:26Speaker 1: of Mathematics, Civics and Sciences charter school in Philadelphia, and
- 25:29Speaker 1: she's felt the deep loss of current and former students
- 25:32Speaker 1: whose lives were cut short by gun violence. She's surrounded
- 25:35Speaker 1: by some of her students and community organizations and a
- 25:39Speaker 1: Silence against Violence demonstration outside of city Hall. We decided
- 25:43Speaker 1: to do this because there's too many murders in our city.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Five hundred and twenty four is too many. One is
- 25:49Speaker 1: too many. The group is calling on city officials to
- 25:52Speaker 1: do more to crack down on guns and crime, using
- 25:55Speaker 1: the voices of young students personally impacted. I know two
- 25:59Speaker 1: young people. One was a cousin, another one was a friend.
- 26:02Speaker 1: It's crazy how close gun violence can actually hit and
- 26:05Speaker 1: it doesn't really affect you until it hits home. I personally,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I said moustiple friends shot walking home from practice, walking
- 26:12Speaker 1: to the story, just doing being a kid. Disagree. The
- 26:14Speaker 1: silent protest spoke louder than words. Young people living in fear,
- 26:19Speaker 1: scarred by the gun violence that surrounds them. How many
- 26:22Speaker 1: more children has to die before someone actually steps up
- 26:25Speaker 1: and do its. Philadelphia was once known as the city
- 26:28Speaker 1: of brotherly love. We're now known as Khiladelphia, the city
- 26:32Speaker 1: of brotherly violence and hate. Khiladelphia. That's what people are saying.
- 26:38Speaker 1: By the way, that's a city that also said we
- 26:41Speaker 1: are going to defund the police. Now Jensaki again at
- 26:47Speaker 1: the White House. Because they don't know how to play
- 26:49Speaker 1: this politically, refusing to call out Democrats soft on crime
- 26:53Speaker 1: policies have led to the rise in violent crime in
- 26:56Speaker 1: liberal cities. They just don't know what to do because
- 26:59Speaker 1: they're like, well, hold on a second, we were on
- 27:01Speaker 1: if we if we come out and we condemn this,
- 27:03Speaker 1: and are we are we condemning Black lives matter? Right?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Are we are we condemning these liberal policies. We don't
- 27:10Speaker 1: know what to do, so we can't condemn it yet
- 27:12Speaker 1: until they tell us what we need to do. Do
- 27:13Speaker 1: you think it's possible that these cities are dealing with
- 27:16Speaker 1: these smash and grab primeries right now and increase in
- 27:20Speaker 1: criminal activity because some prosecutors are too sow on crime.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I would say, we have seen I'm not going to
- 27:29Speaker 1: attribute the reasoning from here. What I will tell you
- 27:32Speaker 1: is we have seen an increase in crime over the
- 27:35Speaker 1: course of the pandemic. The a range of reasons for that,
- 27:38Speaker 1: and what we're for our focus is on is what
- 27:40Speaker 1: we can do to address it. Oh okay, so you
- 27:44Speaker 1: want to address it because we already know what the
- 27:47Speaker 1: problem is. These prosecutors are not doing their job, you know.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'll go back to what Jensaki said this week about
- 27:54Speaker 1: Jesse small Latin when he was convicted, said lying to
- 27:56Speaker 1: the police, particularly about something as hands to hate crime,
- 27:59Speaker 1: is something that we condemned. It was only after he
- 28:01Speaker 1: was convicted they say that these are the same people
- 28:05Speaker 1: that put out statements defending Jesse Smollett without even looking
- 28:08Speaker 1: at any of the facts. Okay, that's that's the reality
- 28:13Speaker 1: of the situation. Bernard Carrick was on Tucker's show the
- 28:20Speaker 1: other night. He was asked about violent crime in America.
- 28:23Speaker 1: America's crime wave is hitting everywhere. Hit their Christmas tree,
- 28:29Speaker 1: which I think is significant, happen million dollar Christmas tree.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And this is what he had to say about all
- 28:35Speaker 1: these Democrats that are refusing to condemn the violence and
- 28:37Speaker 1: nine eight s plays like we gotta get it under control.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm at as hell. You guys created this. You're the
- 28:42Speaker 1: ones that did it. You're the ones that said, defund
- 28:45Speaker 1: the police, stop hiring police, bail reform, prison reform, everything's
- 28:49Speaker 1: racist and anybody that's a minority that it's caught committe
- 28:51Speaker 1: at crime. But let him go. Bernie Carrick is the
- 28:54Speaker 1: form police Commission in the City of New York. He
- 28:56Speaker 1: joins us tonight, thanks so much for coming on now.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Hate crimes seem to be the primary category of crimes.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I'm not clear what a hate crime is or why
- 29:04Speaker 1: it's different from a normal crime. I think the whole
- 29:05Speaker 1: category is scary and political. But since it is the
- 29:08Speaker 1: dominant category of crime, why is burning Christmas trees not
- 29:12Speaker 1: a hate crime? According to the DOJ, Well, it should
- 29:17Speaker 1: be not only to the DOJ, it should be to
- 29:19Speaker 1: the City of New York, to the state of New York.
- 29:22Speaker 1: You know the problem I think we have, Tucker, is,
- 29:26Speaker 1: over the last several years, you have governors like Andrew
- 29:30Speaker 1: Cuomo that institute these laws like Bell Reform laws that
- 29:34Speaker 1: for example, right now in New York City, eighty three
- 29:38Speaker 1: percent of the people arrested on gun charges are immediately
- 29:42Speaker 1: released and sent back in to the community. You have
- 29:45Speaker 1: prosecutors who don't want to prosecute there are more focused
- 29:49Speaker 1: on targeting police than they are targeting the bad guys
- 29:52Speaker 1: in the streets are dealing with things like this. And
- 29:56Speaker 1: then you have mayors, these radical left wing mayors that
- 29:59Speaker 1: basically a allow this homeless issue, and a lot of
- 30:02Speaker 1: it's not homeless, it's mentally ill. It's people that don't
- 30:06Speaker 1: belong in the streets. They should be in clinics, they
- 30:08Speaker 1: should be in hospitals, they should not be allowed to
- 30:12Speaker 1: stay out on the streets the way they are. And
- 30:15Speaker 1: you have a federal government like the President and his
- 30:18Speaker 1: administration that sits around in Washington, DC in a big circle.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Jerk wanted to know why crime, why violent crime is
- 30:24Speaker 1: going up, and murders going up and not doing anything
- 30:28Speaker 1: about it. I got to ask you. I mean, I
- 30:31Speaker 1: keep hearing that I should not be allowed to check
- 30:32Speaker 1: my family with a firearm because gun crime, and I
- 30:35Speaker 1: can't be trusted with a gun. These same people who
- 30:38Speaker 1: want to take my guns away are releasing gun criminals
- 30:41Speaker 1: over eighty percent in New York. What's the thinking there?
- 30:45Speaker 1: There is no thinking there is. This is the radical
- 30:50Speaker 1: left wing party, the Democratic Party, attacking the Second Amendment,
- 30:55Speaker 1: doing everything in their power to take law abiding citizens
- 30:59Speaker 1: weapons away from them and basically letting all these criminals
- 31:02Speaker 1: out in the streets. You have increases in violent crime,
- 31:06Speaker 1: increases in murder. You know this stuff can be fixed.
- 31:11Speaker 1: It's easy. Yeah, we did it. New York City did it.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Giuliani did it. Sixty five percent reduction in violent crime
- 31:19Speaker 1: of seventy percent reduction and murder, and eighty percent reduction
- 31:23Speaker 1: and murder in the black communities where the violent crime
- 31:26Speaker 1: is the highest. Don't tell me it can be done.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I did it. But the bottom line is you need
- 31:30Speaker 1: real leadership that's not going to be afraid to call
- 31:33Speaker 1: it what it is. And this stuff you're talking about
- 31:35Speaker 1: right now is exactly what the problem is they're afraid
- 31:38Speaker 1: to even call it what it is. It seems like
- 31:41Speaker 1: it's about one tenth of one percent of the population
- 31:45Speaker 1: of New York is in favor of having drug addicts
- 31:47Speaker 1: living on the sidewalk. Everyone else hates it. But that
- 31:50Speaker 1: tiny percentage of people make all the decisions. How is
- 31:54Speaker 1: that democracy? It's not democracy. And I think we saw
- 31:59Speaker 1: that in the last set of elections. You know, the
- 32:02Speaker 1: bottom line is people have to get vocal. People have
- 32:06Speaker 1: to stand up, stop sitting back and being cowered into
- 32:11Speaker 1: a position where you're afraid to talk. Because if you
- 32:15Speaker 1: sit back and you're afraid to talk and you're not
- 32:17Speaker 1: calling it out, then nobody's going to do anything about it.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And I refer back to the nineties. Look, New York
- 32:24Speaker 1: City had a crime wave. Nobody wanted to do anything
- 32:27Speaker 1: about it until it was ready to implode. And when
- 32:30Speaker 1: it was ready to implode, that everybody said, huh, now
- 32:33Speaker 1: we have to fix it. Well, I think this whole
- 32:35Speaker 1: country is coming to that point right now. I think
- 32:39Speaker 1: that's right we need. I couldn't agree with him more.
- 32:42Speaker 1: By the way, but Nancy Pelosi walking out there grandstanding
- 32:46Speaker 1: the way that she's grandstanding, give me a break out
- 32:50Speaker 1: there saying I'm mad about this and with this is
- 32:53Speaker 1: unacceptable behavior. You guys create, the behavior, you support, the behavior,
- 32:56Speaker 1: you advocated for the behavior. Don't let them rewrite history
- 32:59Speaker 1: on this one. They're the ones that are advocating for
- 33:02Speaker 1: defriend the police and how we still have okay, we
- 33:07Speaker 1: still have. Just to be very very very clear. When
- 33:12Speaker 1: I was a kid, there were people in my family
- 33:16Speaker 1: that used to laugh at how predictable it was what
- 33:20Speaker 1: I was going to be for Halloween. My father was
- 33:23Speaker 1: a police officer, and all I wanted to be during Halloween,
- 33:28Speaker 1: year after year after year was a cop. I wanted
- 33:32Speaker 1: to be a police officer. I had no doubt in
- 33:35Speaker 1: my mind when I was a little kid, I was
- 33:36Speaker 1: going to grow up and I was going to be
- 33:37Speaker 1: a police officer. I thought it was incredible, the idea
- 33:42Speaker 1: of going out there and getting the bad guys, protecting
- 33:45Speaker 1: and serving, putting your life on the line to protect
- 33:48Speaker 1: your fellow man year after year, Halloween after Halloween, my
- 33:54Speaker 1: parents just laughed like there was no even discussion about
- 33:57Speaker 1: what I was gonna be. It was just I to
- 34:00Speaker 1: wear my dad's bags. They made a little shirt with
- 34:02Speaker 1: real patches on it that looked like my dad's uniform.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I wanted to be my dad. My goal was to
- 34:10Speaker 1: be a police officer. My backup was to be a
- 34:15Speaker 1: fighter pilot because of Top Gun the movie. Those were
- 34:19Speaker 1: my goals in life. That was it. Now. I wasn't
- 34:23Speaker 1: the only one as a young person that want to
- 34:24Speaker 1: be a police officer. All of my friends wanted to
- 34:27Speaker 1: be what policeman, fireman, that's what you dressed up as,
- 34:31Speaker 1: that's what you want to be. Because we held police
- 34:34Speaker 1: and fire at a higher level in society than other people.
- 34:39Speaker 1: There was a genuine protect and serve mentality. It was
- 34:45Speaker 1: an honorable profession. It was a profession of sacrifice. You
- 34:49Speaker 1: weren't going to get rich doing it, and the chances
- 34:52Speaker 1: that you didn't come home have gotten higher and higher,
- 34:55Speaker 1: as we all know too well in this country. Now.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I have three boys, and I will tell you right now,
- 35:02Speaker 1: if any one of my three boys came to me
- 35:04Speaker 1: right now and said, Daddy, I want to be police
- 35:05Speaker 1: officer when I grow up, you know what, I tell them, No,
- 35:07Speaker 1: you don't. It's not worth it, not right now, not
- 35:12Speaker 1: in the society that we live in today. We live
- 35:15Speaker 1: in a society where people don't respect police. They don't
- 35:19Speaker 1: respect fire, they don't respect people with a badge, They
- 35:21Speaker 1: don't respect the people that sacrifice. They don't respect our troops.
- 35:25Speaker 1: They don't respect the men and women that they beg
- 35:28Speaker 1: to come when they need them desperately, whether it's at
- 35:30Speaker 1: a house fire, whether it's trapped in a car, whether
- 35:33Speaker 1: it's when someone's drowning, whether it's when you're sick. Because
- 35:37Speaker 1: there are people in this country that have dehumanized and
- 35:40Speaker 1: demonize police officers. They have demonized people that are willing
- 35:46Speaker 1: to sacrifice their lives to protect yours. We have seen
- 35:50Speaker 1: the dehumanization of police in this country as well, where
- 35:55Speaker 1: now we have Black Lives Matter, where they chant things
- 35:57Speaker 1: like what do we want dead cops? When do we
- 36:00Speaker 1: want them now? Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon,
- 36:06Speaker 1: chance like f The police have been chanted at Black
- 36:10Speaker 1: Lives malader rallies all over the country. We have seen
- 36:13Speaker 1: Democrats jump on board the defund the police movement. Yes,
- 36:17Speaker 1: we've had votes to defund the police, to actually shut
- 36:20Speaker 1: them down, to dismantle the police in Minneapolis. And now
- 36:26Speaker 1: we see that when any police officer makes a mistake,
- 36:31Speaker 1: we see the left immediately turn on them and went
- 36:33Speaker 1: to them to burn at the stake. It's like it's
- 36:37Speaker 1: revenge for all the bad police officers that have done
- 36:40Speaker 1: bad things in society. Now, let me also be clear,
- 36:42Speaker 1: I don't think that police officers are all saints either.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Do I believe that there's such a thing as a
- 36:47Speaker 1: bad cop? Yes? Do I believe that there are people
- 36:49Speaker 1: in every profession that are bad people, including pastors yes,
- 36:53Speaker 1: doctors yes. Do I believe the majority of them should
- 36:57Speaker 1: be indicted because the actions of very few. No, But
- 37:00Speaker 1: the left sure as hell does, which brings me to
- 37:04Speaker 1: Kim Potter. Kim Potter is a police officer that served
- 37:10Speaker 1: her community in the same community with a defunded one
- 37:12Speaker 1: to dismantle disband the police department. She was a police
- 37:16Speaker 1: officer in Minnesota. She was a police officer in a
- 37:19Speaker 1: place it was pretty dangerous. Kim Potter mistakenly drew her
- 37:25Speaker 1: handgun instead of her taser during a traffic stop in
- 37:28Speaker 1: April in which she fatally shot Dantes Wright. Dantes Wright
- 37:31Speaker 1: was fighting back, Dantes Wright was not complying with the police.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Dantes Wright put everybody's life in danger, including his own.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Jurors have been deliberating since Monday about Potter's fate. She
- 37:45Speaker 1: served as an officer in the Brooklyn Center of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- 37:49Speaker 1: I should say for twenty six years. They were going
- 37:53Speaker 1: to decide if she was innocent or guilty guilty of
- 37:55Speaker 1: first degree, second degree or manslaughter charges in the death
- 37:58Speaker 1: of right Potter wins when the verdict was read, but
- 38:03Speaker 1: otherwise appeared not to react. That verdict has come down
- 38:08Speaker 1: and this is what it sounded like in the courtroom.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Oh miss Potter, please rise. I'm now going to read
- 38:17Speaker 1: your verdicts as it will as it will appear in
- 38:21Speaker 1: the permanent court records of Henneman County. In the matter
- 38:25Speaker 1: of STATEUM Minnesota versus Kimberly Potter Courtfoile Number twenty seven CR.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Twenty one seventy four ninety we the jury on the
- 38:36Speaker 1: charge of manslaughter in the first degree while committing a
- 38:40Speaker 1: misdemeanor on or about April eleven, twenty twenty one, in
- 38:47Speaker 1: Henneman County, STATEUM Minnesota, find the defendant guilty and the
- 38:53Speaker 1: verdict was agreed to at the hour of eleven forty
- 38:57Speaker 1: am and signed by the jury person. Twelve, twenty three,
- 39:03Speaker 1: twenty one, the verdict on count two, is we the
- 39:08Speaker 1: jury on the charge of manslaughter in the second degree
- 39:13Speaker 1: culpable negligence on or about April eleven, twenty twenty one,
- 39:20Speaker 1: in Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, find the defendant guilty
- 39:26Speaker 1: and that verdict was agreed to at ten thirty am
- 39:30Speaker 1: on twelve, twenty one, twenty one members of the jury,
- 39:38Speaker 1: is this your true in correct verdicts? So say you one,
- 39:41Speaker 1: and SO say you all. Kim Potter found guilty on
- 39:48Speaker 1: all charges and Dante Wright's death. The part about this
- 39:53Speaker 1: story that irritates me the most, that makes me the
- 39:56Speaker 1: most angry, is the fact that whether Potter had intended
- 40:03Speaker 1: to draw her taser handgun was quote not an issue
- 40:06Speaker 1: in the trial. Lawyers for both sides agreed that she
- 40:11Speaker 1: mistakenly drew the wrong weapon. In fact, on the bodycam video,
- 40:15Speaker 1: you can hear saying taser, Taser, taser, and then the
- 40:18Speaker 1: gun goes off instead, they said. The trial centered on
- 40:23Speaker 1: questions of whether she should have recognized she was holding
- 40:27Speaker 1: the heavier metal gun, or whether she should have drawn
- 40:30Speaker 1: any weapon at all. Potter is now scheduled to be
- 40:34Speaker 1: sentenced on February eighteenth. The state sentencing guidelines recommend as
- 40:37Speaker 1: sense of roughly seven years for the first degree charge
- 40:40Speaker 1: and four years for the second degree charge, though prosecutors
- 40:43Speaker 1: indicated they would seek a longer sentence. You may remember
- 40:48Speaker 1: who the guy is, the attorney general in Minnesota. He's
- 40:50Speaker 1: a hardcore lefty, an anti cop attorney general by the
- 40:54Speaker 1: name of Keith Ellison. This guy is going to make
- 40:58Speaker 1: his career off of putting police off. The's in jail.
- 41:02Speaker 1: He said. Accountability is not justice after the verdict was read.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Justice is restoration. Justice would be restoring Dante to life
- 41:10Speaker 1: and making the right family hole again. He added, let
- 41:14Speaker 1: me say this, Accidents happen. Should there be accountability for accidents?
- 41:22Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes the accountability is knowing for the rest of
- 41:26Speaker 1: your life that you took someone's life and made a mistake.
- 41:28Speaker 1: But at the same time, there should also be accountability
- 41:31Speaker 1: in a different context. Here's an idea. Let's not fight
- 41:35Speaker 1: the police. Here's another idea. Let's not resist the rest.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Here's another idea. As my father told me a long
- 41:40Speaker 1: time ago, and every parent should be having this conversation
- 41:42Speaker 1: with their child tonight. You don't negotiate with the police.
- 41:47Speaker 1: That we have lawyers and a court system for that part.
- 41:51Speaker 1: My dad told me, and he was a police officer,
- 41:53Speaker 1: I don't care what's going on. When the police tell
- 41:56Speaker 1: you to do something, you do it, because when you don't,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you put your life at rich and the lives of
- 42:02Speaker 1: others around you at risk. You don't flinch. You always
- 42:09Speaker 1: do that. He told me. We have a justice system
- 42:13Speaker 1: for a reason, and that justice system says you have
- 42:17Speaker 1: the right to a jury trial of your peers. You
- 42:20Speaker 1: have the right to appear before a judge, you have
- 42:23Speaker 1: the right to an attorney. You have the right to
- 42:25Speaker 1: remain silent so that you don't incriminate yourself. There is
- 42:30Speaker 1: no reason to negotiate with a police officer. If more
- 42:39Speaker 1: people took that advice, fewer people would have to deal
- 42:43Speaker 1: with what we're looking at today. I'll say something else
- 42:49Speaker 1: about this that I think is the scariest part, and
- 42:51Speaker 1: that's this. I would not let my children become police officers. Now.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I would advise against it, and I would mean it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: It's not worth it. There are too many liberal prosecutors
- 43:06Speaker 1: in America today that will get street credit for prosecuting
- 43:11Speaker 1: police officers. This is how extreme the left has gotten,
- 43:17Speaker 1: and the left doesn't care about your life. Look at
- 43:21Speaker 1: the Chicago mayor coming out now begging the federal government
- 43:25Speaker 1: to send federal agents into Chicago to help her. Lori
- 43:30Speaker 1: Lightfoot is now begging for police to be sent or
- 43:33Speaker 1: for federal agents to be sent to her city. Now
- 43:37Speaker 1: why is she doing that now? Because now things have
- 43:42Speaker 1: gotten so out of control, things have gotten so out
- 43:46Speaker 1: of hand that she has no other choice because it
- 43:48Speaker 1: starting to affect her poll numbers. This is the same
- 43:52Speaker 1: woman that said hell no when the same exact people
- 43:57Speaker 1: were offered to come into Chicago and help under Donald
- 44:00Speaker 1: Trump's administration. Don't forget that. This is the same woman
- 44:07Speaker 1: that said you're not welcome here and refer to those
- 44:10Speaker 1: agents as undercover evil agents. But now she's saying, we've
- 44:16Speaker 1: got a problem, We've got a problem, and I need
- 44:19Speaker 1: help of the Biden administration. I need them to come
- 44:22Speaker 1: in and I need them to send agents right away.
- 44:26Speaker 1: I need them to help us out. She had a big,
- 44:30Speaker 1: forty two minute press conference, and at that press conference
- 44:34Speaker 1: she pleaded for help. Now here's the part that people
- 44:38Speaker 1: to understand. Lightfoot the same agent she's now pleading to
- 44:43Speaker 1: come into her country, this inter city, the same agents
- 44:45Speaker 1: that would have come into her city under Donald Trump pride,
- 44:49Speaker 1: so the same job. What happened? Why were they bad
- 44:53Speaker 1: last year? But they're not bad this year. These are
- 44:57Speaker 1: the officers who are turning their backs on the may
- 45:00Speaker 1: because this mayor went woke, This mayor went anti police.
- 45:03Speaker 1: This mayor support the people that chant, what do we want?
- 45:05Speaker 1: Dead caps when we want them now? Pigs in a blanket,
- 45:08Speaker 1: fry them, Mike Bacon f the police. She's the one
- 45:12Speaker 1: that backed them. Service o herself a lot of sacrifice.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Her mother said it that she loved the job. There
- 45:27Speaker 1: was a lot of emotion running that night. There were
- 45:31Speaker 1: hundreds of officers who were there and met and talked
- 45:34Speaker 1: to many of them, and there was a lot of
- 45:38Speaker 1: emotion from arrange of the spectrum from total despair to
- 45:45Speaker 1: That's how she responded, by the way politically, to the
- 45:49Speaker 1: officers turning their backs on her after the killing of
- 45:52Speaker 1: an officer. Ella French, there's a name you should remember.
- 45:58Speaker 1: She said, there's a lot of emotion. I talked to
- 46:00Speaker 1: a bunch of them. They didn't want to talk to her.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Oh no. So she's now pleading for help from the
- 46:06Speaker 1: federal government while she's also doing something else, talking about
- 46:10Speaker 1: COVID and saying that COVID is the real reason why
- 46:13Speaker 1: things are out of control. This is the same woman
- 46:18Speaker 1: who also said we don't want eighty million dollars in
- 46:21Speaker 1: our budget to fight crime in Chicago when she went
- 46:26Speaker 1: to defund the police. Now what is she saying? And
- 46:29Speaker 1: I think this very difficult week has told us that
- 46:32Speaker 1: we need to do a lot more to increase the
- 46:35Speaker 1: resources and voted to the health and wellness of our
- 46:38Speaker 1: police officers. Then why did you cut eighty million dollars?
- 46:42Speaker 1: Why did you try to defund the police? Why did
- 46:45Speaker 1: you go all woke? What changed? Is it only the
- 46:48Speaker 1: poll numbers? Because it's not about her caring about you.
- 46:52Speaker 1: It's clearly not you caring about the people. It's about you.
- 46:56Speaker 1: If you cared about the people, then maybe you would
- 46:59Speaker 1: have said something different than what you're saying right now.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Crime is out of control in this country. We have
- 47:06Speaker 1: demonized the people you're now begging to come in. You've
- 47:09Speaker 1: demonized the people that are trying that you now need
- 47:13Speaker 1: their help from. You've dehumanized them, You've turned them into
- 47:16Speaker 1: the villain. And now all of a sudden, you want
- 47:19Speaker 1: to change the narrative. You want to change the ball game,
- 47:21Speaker 1: you want to flip things. I don't blame emy cop
- 47:25Speaker 1: that quits right now, I really don't. I don't blame
- 47:29Speaker 1: any police officer that says I'm out. I don't blame
- 47:34Speaker 1: anybody that tells their kids now, don't become a police officer.
- 47:37Speaker 1: It's not worth it because if you have one accident,
- 47:40Speaker 1: they will burn you at the stake because the left
- 47:44Speaker 1: hates you, the left despises you. This woman is now
- 47:49Speaker 1: begging for help the same people that she demonized when
- 47:52Speaker 1: Trump offered help to get crime under control in Chicago.
- 47:55Speaker 1: And there's a Chicago pastor and an activist who is
- 47:59Speaker 1: blasted to the Loria Lightfoot setting the records trade about
- 48:03Speaker 1: what this woman's really done to his city. Do you
- 48:06Speaker 1: see a connection between the mayor's rhetoric where she wanted
- 48:11Speaker 1: them to essentially take eighty million dollars out of the
- 48:15Speaker 1: police department budget with what we're seeing on the streets
- 48:18Speaker 1: of Chicago today. Yeah, Steve, I'm on the roof to
- 48:22Speaker 1: bring attention and awareness to violence, but also to raise
- 48:25Speaker 1: as much money as I can to build a community
- 48:28Speaker 1: center to fight the violence. And I do believe that
- 48:31Speaker 1: all the talk about defunding the police has added to
- 48:34Speaker 1: the morale. I do believe that it has impacted the
- 48:38Speaker 1: police dramatically. If anything, we do, we don't need to
- 48:42Speaker 1: defund the police. We need to fund them more, especially
- 48:45Speaker 1: our detectives, where they're overwhelmed and overloaded with cases that
- 48:50Speaker 1: they're having problems solving because there's not enough of them
- 48:52Speaker 1: to do the work. So we definitely need to make
- 48:53Speaker 1: the investment in our police department. What a novel idea
- 48:57Speaker 1: crimes out of control and we need to invest in
- 48:59Speaker 1: our police departments. She wanted to take eighty million away,
- 49:03Speaker 1: But now she says, oh, hold on, I'm not anti police.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'm not anti police at all. Really, you look at
- 49:11Speaker 1: crime all over the country right now, and you look
- 49:13Speaker 1: at these different mayors, and you look at the different
- 49:15Speaker 1: people that are in charge, and they went for an
- 49:18Speaker 1: entire year hardcore anti police, really not not just your
- 49:23Speaker 1: two years, let's just be honest. And they did it
- 49:26Speaker 1: for politics. They did it to get votes. They did
- 49:29Speaker 1: it to demonize somebody so that you would be afraid
- 49:32Speaker 1: of them and the people. They wanted you to be
- 49:33Speaker 1: afraid of the police. They wanted you to believe they're
- 49:35Speaker 1: all evil racist, even if it's black on black, even
- 49:38Speaker 1: if it's a black officer arresting a black man or woman,
- 49:41Speaker 1: they didn't care. That's an Uncle Tom. And any white
- 49:45Speaker 1: person arrests anybody's black. Got to be racist. Can't be
- 49:47Speaker 1: an actual criminal committing a crime. Can't be that we
- 49:50Speaker 1: look at people just based on their actions and not
- 49:53Speaker 1: based on the car, the s kin. Because they needed
- 49:55Speaker 1: this in the election. Democrats get elected off of racism.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Democrats get it off telling you that everybody is racist
- 50:01Speaker 1: except for them. That's what Democrats do. And they said
- 50:04Speaker 1: the new racists or the police, and then they decided
- 50:07Speaker 1: to do this new insane idea. We're gonna we're gonna
- 50:10Speaker 1: have police reform and then we're going to dismantle police departments.
- 50:14Speaker 1: But that's not enough. We're now going to change the
- 50:16Speaker 1: way that we do bail, and we're gonna have bail
- 50:19Speaker 1: reform so that you don't even have to post any
- 50:21Speaker 1: bail to get out of jail, because bail all of
- 50:23Speaker 1: a sudden became racist out of nowhere, because white people
- 50:26Speaker 1: can get out of jail easier than black people can
- 50:28Speaker 1: get out of jail until their trial. So that became racists,
- 50:31Speaker 1: and then they said, we need prison reform because prison
- 50:33Speaker 1: reform is racist because you're really just trying to black
- 50:36Speaker 1: You're trying to, you know, put people in prison that
- 50:39Speaker 1: are only black, and you're trying to lock them up
- 50:41Speaker 1: because they're black, and everything's racist. And it worked. It
- 50:44Speaker 1: got them elected. Congratulations. Who cares if people die because
- 50:49Speaker 1: of their peddling this racism and demonizing the police? Who cares?
- 50:53Speaker 1: A police are quitting? Left and right? Who cares if
- 50:55Speaker 1: crime skyrockets in these liberal cities because it's not doing
- 50:59Speaker 1: it concerned cities right, because in conservative cities, we still
- 51:02Speaker 1: love and appreciate and support the police. We don't give
- 51:05Speaker 1: them a free pass, but we do hold them accountable
- 51:08Speaker 1: when they're bad cops, but we embrace the good ones
- 51:10Speaker 1: and we know the majority of them are good. And
- 51:12Speaker 1: now Democrats have this problem because there is crime out
- 51:16Speaker 1: of control. You don't know how bad it is in
- 51:18Speaker 1: liberal cities. Take a listen to California ABC seven in
- 51:23Speaker 1: San Francisco. This is not a Saturday night live skit
- 51:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna play for you. This is a real report,
- 51:29Speaker 1: live from an actual reporter ABC seven telling you now
- 51:34Speaker 1: what you have to do when you live in these
- 51:35Speaker 1: areas of California, just to make sure that your car
- 51:38Speaker 1: doesn't get broken into. Yeah, Brandy, this shows how bad
- 51:42Speaker 1: the problem is and how desperate some shoppers are getting.
- 51:46Speaker 1: We're seeing this primarily up in the Bay Area. People
- 51:49Speaker 1: are literally leaving the trunks of their cars open, or
- 51:51Speaker 1: the hatch on their suv open. And the idea is
- 51:55Speaker 1: that thieves will see there's nothing worth taking in the
- 51:57Speaker 1: car and they won't be smashing windows and rummaging through vehicles.
- 52:01Speaker 1: And that made me one answer. But the downside, of course,
- 52:05Speaker 1: is it also makes it really easy to steal somebody's car. Wow,
- 52:10Speaker 1: we're in different times. That's that's unbelievable. I mean, we're
- 52:15Speaker 1: in different times. This is a former San Francisco Police
- 52:19Speaker 1: Department Deputy Chief Garrett Tom who just said, we're in
- 52:23Speaker 1: different times. You think it's unbelievable that people are now
- 52:27Speaker 1: it's just saying, all my car windows, leave them down.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Here's the hatchback, it's open. Please don't steal anything. I
- 52:33Speaker 1: know you might steal my car, but at least you
- 52:35Speaker 1: won't break out another one of my windows. Welcome to
- 52:38Speaker 1: San Francisco. Where what do they do they went defund
- 52:41Speaker 1: the police. And if they leave their trunk open, you know,
- 52:44Speaker 1: some car, Depending on what kind of car you have,
- 52:47Speaker 1: you still can get inside into the interior. What do
- 52:50Speaker 1: you wait? Wait wait, you can still get inside into
- 52:52Speaker 1: the interior. Thank you, Captain Obvious for that brilliant analysis there.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Imagine living in a city where it's so dangerous you
- 53:00Speaker 1: leave the back of your car open just so someone
- 53:03Speaker 1: can get in your car, so they don't break your window,
- 53:05Speaker 1: because the probability of having your windows smashed out right
- 53:07Speaker 1: now is that high. By the way, they got bell
- 53:10Speaker 1: reformed there, they got prison reform there, they got abolish
- 53:13Speaker 1: the police there, they got defund the police there. Welcome
- 53:16Speaker 1: to the hometown of Nancy Pelosi. That's a real local
- 53:20Speaker 1: report I just played for you. Here's another one, another
- 53:25Speaker 1: liberal city, Las Vegas. Fox five Las Vegas talks about
- 53:30Speaker 1: their new senseless vicious crime at a restaurant. Well, for
- 53:36Speaker 1: the first time, we are getting a look at the
- 53:38Speaker 1: man restaurant manager say shot an employee several times while
- 53:43Speaker 1: he was cleaning up early Monday morning. Those photo was
- 53:46Speaker 1: provided to Fox five from surveillance camp footage at Shanghai
- 53:50Speaker 1: Taste in Chinatown, The restaurant is calling this a senseless,
- 53:54Speaker 1: vicious crime, as one of their employees, Chenyon Wang, is
- 53:58Speaker 1: currently recovering in a valley hospital after being shot seven times.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Seven times. We got to defund the police there. Hell yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 1: we got liberals in charge of city. Yep, sure do.
- 54:08Speaker 1: The first thing from the police officer, the lead police
- 54:11Speaker 1: officer's mouth was, if this was me, I wanted to
- 54:13Speaker 1: survive it, and it was pretty brutal. The restaurant says
- 54:18Speaker 1: that the attacker entered the business through a back door
- 54:21Speaker 1: which may have been we may have been broken into
- 54:25Speaker 1: or accidentally left unlocked. They say that the man started
- 54:28Speaker 1: firing at weighing near the counter area of the restaurant
- 54:31Speaker 1: before taking off. Shanghai Taste was closed yesterday. No word
- 54:36Speaker 1: yet on when they plan to reopen, but when it does,
- 54:39Speaker 1: the restaurant tells us that they plan to offer some
- 54:41Speaker 1: sort of financial help for that employee to help cover
- 54:44Speaker 1: his medical bills. Seven times. Welcome to liberal America. This
- 54:49Speaker 1: is what happens. Lindsey Graham, by the way, losing it
- 54:53Speaker 1: slamming Nancy Pelosi because she's acting like there's not a
- 54:57Speaker 1: crime problem in America. And I just told you what's
- 54:59Speaker 1: happen in San Francisco where she's supposed to live. Not
- 55:02Speaker 1: really sure she does, but she's supposed to live there,
- 55:05Speaker 1: right at least that's where she gets her hair done.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I say that if you don't understand what's going on
- 55:09Speaker 1: in America regarding crime, you probably shouldn't be Speaker of
- 55:13Speaker 1: the House at the end of the day. I mean,
- 55:16Speaker 1: you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure this out.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Recipivism rates her through the roof. In twenty twenty, we
- 55:23Speaker 1: declared war on the cops. The liberal left tried to
- 55:27Speaker 1: destroy policing as we know it. We have revolving doors.
- 55:31Speaker 1: When it comes to bail, we're eliminating cash bill, so
- 55:34Speaker 1: criminals believe they're not gonna go to jail and stay
- 55:37Speaker 1: in jail. When they wipe out a store, come in
- 55:40Speaker 1: and just wipe everything out, nobody goes to jail. So
- 55:44Speaker 1: what's happened here is that between trying to destroy policing
- 55:48Speaker 1: and being soft on crime, you've lost control of crime.
- 55:52Speaker 1: And it's time to take the car keys away from
- 55:54Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. There you go, that's the Democratic Party.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham right, by the way, these people are the
- 56:02Speaker 1: ones that did this on purpose. This carnage happened on purpose.
- 56:08Speaker 1: You now have the San Francisco mayor calling for a
- 56:10Speaker 1: crackdown on crime, saying we're going to be forced to
- 56:13Speaker 1: be less tolerant because of what's happened, less tolerant. So
- 56:19Speaker 1: you guys, admit that you screwed this up. It's time
- 56:22Speaker 1: that the reign of criminals who are destroying our city,
- 56:26Speaker 1: it is time for it to come to an end.
- 56:29Speaker 1: And it comes to an end when we take the
- 56:32Speaker 1: steps to be more aggressive with law enforcement, more aggressive
- 56:38Speaker 1: with the changes in our policies. Hold on a second.
- 56:42Speaker 1: This is the same San Francisco mayor who has defund
- 56:45Speaker 1: the police, the same San Francisco mayor that attacked the
- 56:48Speaker 1: police for the last year, the same San Francisco mayor
- 56:51Speaker 1: that said we need bail reform where people could get
- 56:54Speaker 1: out of jail after committing crimes with zero dollars put down.
- 56:58Speaker 1: This is the same woman that advocated for people are
- 57:00Speaker 1: not being charged for crimes with BLM, and now she
- 57:03Speaker 1: says she wants to get tough on crime with law enforcement,
- 57:09Speaker 1: more aggressive, with the changes in our policies. You want
- 57:11Speaker 1: to get more aggressive, man, These people are starting to
- 57:15Speaker 1: sound like conservatives at this point and less tolerant of
- 57:20Speaker 1: all that has destroyed our city. Oh yeah, and I
- 57:26Speaker 1: love it. I love it when they cuss. That's my favorite.
- 57:29Speaker 1: That's when you really know they're mad, right, yeah, when
- 57:32Speaker 1: you Yeah, I'm I'm the San Francisco mayor that when
- 57:35Speaker 1: defund the police, anti police rhetoric. I'm the one that
- 57:38Speaker 1: would go on TV and talk about how bad the
- 57:41Speaker 1: American you know, how bad things are and how bad
- 57:44Speaker 1: the police are. And I hear you, and I understand
- 57:47Speaker 1: you in Black Lives Matter and we're gonna have riots
- 57:49Speaker 1: and protests and we're not gonna put people in jail.
- 57:51Speaker 1: And now you want to cuss to act like you're
- 57:53Speaker 1: tough on crime that has destroyed our city. Yeah, well
- 57:59Speaker 1: maybe when maybe maybe she figured it out. Okay, people
- 58:01Speaker 1: are leaving their trunks and their cars open, they're leaving
- 58:04Speaker 1: the backs of their SUV's open, they're rolling their windows
- 58:06Speaker 1: down'm putting signs upset, there's nothing in here that you
- 58:08Speaker 1: want the cars empty. Please don't break my window. And
- 58:13Speaker 1: now she wants to start cussing, and she's mad. Yeah, yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 1: she's mad. Now, Now if that's not the good enough
- 58:21Speaker 1: answer for you. Just know that most politicians are now
- 58:23Speaker 1: saying that what comes to crime, it's all based on COVID.
- 58:26Speaker 1: They're blaming COVID for this crime is spiking in major cities.
- 58:31Speaker 1: And as it's spiking in major cities, now the same
- 58:34Speaker 1: people that went woke are now being carjacked at gunpoint.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And I'm not wishing this on them. I want to
- 58:40Speaker 1: make that clear, Okay, I want to make I don't
- 58:43Speaker 1: think that crime is political when it's happening to you.
- 58:47Speaker 1: But the fact is two Democratic lawmakers were carjacked at gunpoint,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and now all of a sudden, the left is like, well,
- 58:53Speaker 1: there's a problem with crime. Were you not paying attention
- 58:57Speaker 1: crime crisis? Two Democratic and lemakers who called for police
- 59:00Speaker 1: reform in the past a carjacked just hours of put
- 59:05Speaker 1: Marianne Rafferday is live as we learn more about this story.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Morning marian Good Morning, Ashley and Ben Will. Two Democrats
- 59:12Speaker 1: who wanted to defund police, were both carjacked at gunpoint
- 59:15Speaker 1: within hours of each other in two different states. Pennsylvania
- 59:19Speaker 1: Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon had just left a meeting near
- 59:21Speaker 1: a park in Philadelphia when she was held at gunpoint
- 59:24Speaker 1: by two black men, according to police, who demanded her
- 59:27Speaker 1: keys and took off. Five people were later caught driving
- 59:30Speaker 1: her vehicle by state police in Delaware and arrested. Scanlon
- 59:34Speaker 1: releasing a statement, the congresswoman was physically unharmed. She thanks
- 59:38Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Police Department for their swift response and appreciates
- 59:42Speaker 1: the efforts of both the sergeant at arms in DC
- 59:44Speaker 1: and her local police department. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kinney also tweeting,
- 59:49Speaker 1: everyone deserves to feel safe in our city and sadly
- 59:52Speaker 1: that hasn't always been the case this year. It's disheartening
- 59:55Speaker 1: and infuriating the criminals feel emboldened to commit such a
- 59:58Speaker 1: reckless crime in the middle of the day, and the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: stats back up the mayor's sentiment. There have been five
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: hundred forty murders so far this year. That's up thirteen
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: percent from last year, and just under four thousand shootings.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: That's a five percent increase over a year now. Despite
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the uptick, Philadelphia leaders have denied there's a crime problem.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: There is not a big spike in crime. That is
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: not true. There is also not I love this right right,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you got you got Larry what's his name? Larry Kastner.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I think he's a Democrat Philadelphia Distric attorney. He's like,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: there's not a crime problem. It's one of the worst
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: years on record, if not the worst year on record,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: and you want me to and you're breaking records in
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: different categories of crime. And then you come out on
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: TV on December the six, you're like, there's not a
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: problem with crime. This is how little respect they have
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: for the their constituents. Now, I will say, part of
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: this is on the left. Part of this is on
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the voters that keep voting these morons into office. Part
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: of it is your fault. It's on you, Okay a lot,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: actually not part all of it is you guys keep
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: reelecting these people because they race bait you and they
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: sucker you in and they tell you the cops the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: bad guy, and then you go, yeah, the cops are
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: the bad guys. Cops are the bad guys. Then all
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: of a sudden, you have a problem, and what do
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you do? You dial nine one one. Here's my thing.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: If you want to defund the police, fine, then deactivate
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: nine one one. Seriously, you hate the cops, you don't
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: trust the cops, you don't want to be a part
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: of the cops. That's fine, defund that. I'm not I'm
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: not exaggerating. I say this. You turn it off where
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you cannot call the police. If you want to defund
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the police, okay, if you want to get rid of
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the police, then don't call them when you need help.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: That's all I'm asking. Don't act, don't don't don't all
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: of a sudden call nine one, go help me. Somebody's
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: breaking into my home. That is That is what irritates me,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: is when people say stupid stuff like that, like, oh,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I want to defund the police, I will help somebody
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: got shot calling. I'm on one can't have it both ways, Folks,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: pick either you back them and support them, or you don't.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: If you don't, then you shouldn't ever ever call them
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and ever ask them for help. Call me old fashioned.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of these people destroying this country.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Which brings me back to my core point that I
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: was making the very beginning of this conversation. You look
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: at this conviction of Kim Potter, and you've got to
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: ask yourself, why would anyone in the right mind right
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: now in America want to become a police officer. Why
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: would anyone want to sign up to protect and serve
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: knowing that these prosecutors like Ellis connected to Obama on
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the left want to watch you burn. Think about it.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I hope every one of you will not only write
