- 0:01Speaker 1: It speaks volumes that tomorrow we have a communist coming
- 0:05Speaker 1: to the White House, because that's who the Democrat Party
- 0:07Speaker 1: elected as the mayor of the largest city in the country.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I think it's very telling, but I also think it
- 0:13Speaker 1: speaks to the fact that President Trump is willing to
- 0:15Speaker 1: meet with anyone and talk to anyone and to try
- 0:19Speaker 1: to do what's right on behalf of the American people,
- 0:21Speaker 1: whether they live in to Louse States or rest States.
- 0:24Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

- 0:33Speaker 3: story for you, and it deals with the economy. Massive
- 0:37Speaker 3: job growth that was unexpected by the experts and the
- 0:40Speaker 3: media completely silent on it. This is they're also trying
- 0:44Speaker 3: to claim that Donald Trump's economy is a disaster. Well,
- 0:48Speaker 3: the numbers don't back that up at all. And I'm
- 0:50Speaker 3: going to give you all of what the President had
- 0:53Speaker 3: to say at the White House on this as well
- 0:55Speaker 3: in just a moment. But first I want to tell

- 1:08Speaker 3: confusion in the world today and it can be hard
- 1:10Speaker 3: to find clarity and truth, and that is where the
- 1:13Speaker 3: new Hillsdale College miniseries on Colonial America offers a powerful
- 1:18Speaker 3: reminder that the first Americans were searching for the same
- 1:22Speaker 3: things they believe. That faith and reason revealed God's design
- 1:26Speaker 3: for the world, and the understanding became the foundation of
- 1:29Speaker 3: the courage and freedom. It's a stirring look at the
- 1:32Speaker 3: ideas that still hold us together today, and the new
- 1:36Speaker 3: Hillsdale College Miniseries on Colonial America offers a fresh way
- 1:41Speaker 3: to think about Thanksgiving beyond the food and the political debates.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It reminds us what we should truly be thankful for
- 1:48Speaker 3: our freedom, our prosperity, and our faith. The first Americans
- 1:52Speaker 3: built all of that from nothing, and their story is

- 2:47Speaker 3: It is the forty seven Morning Update and it starts
- 2:49Speaker 3: right now.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:51Speaker 3: There's an old saying in politics, it's the economy stupid.
- 2:55Speaker 3: It's an important one because if Americans feel like the
- 2:57Speaker 3: economy is not going in the right direction, they almost
- 3:00Speaker 3: always blame whoever is in charge of the country, the
- 3:05Speaker 3: president of the United States of America. Well, there are
- 3:07Speaker 3: a lot of Americans right now that are not happy
- 3:10Speaker 3: where pricing is and where the economy is. It's part
- 3:13Speaker 3: of the reason why President Donald Trump was elected president.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But Democrats are seizing this moment to now say that
- 3:20Speaker 3: Donald Trump's economy is a disaster. The Trump White House,
- 3:25Speaker 3: they're fighting back and working to fix what they describe
- 3:28Speaker 3: as the affordability crisis and proving that they're making significant
- 3:33Speaker 3: progress in this area after Americans suffered under bidenflation for years.
- 3:39Speaker 3: The White House Press Secretary of Caroline Levitt pointing out
- 3:42Speaker 3: during Thursday's press briefing just how bad things were, saying, quote,
- 3:47Speaker 3: these gains came after the summer passage of President Trump's
- 3:51Speaker 3: historic tax cuts and multiple big trade deals with countries
- 3:55Speaker 3: around the world. In particular, construction jobs have surged by
- 3:58Speaker 3: nineteen thousands, up to the largest monthly game in a year.
- 4:04Speaker 3: She also pointed out that most of this growth came
- 4:08Speaker 3: from private sector, and native born citizens are getting these
- 4:13Speaker 3: jobs rather than foreign born workers. This, Levitt pointed out
- 4:17Speaker 3: as the opposite of what we saw under the Biden administration.
- 4:21Speaker 3: She also reminded Americans of this that inflation also remains
- 4:26Speaker 3: under control and wages are up three point eight percent
- 4:30Speaker 3: over the year for American workers because of President Trump's
- 4:34Speaker 3: pro growth policies. In fact oral, wages are at a
- 4:38Speaker 3: pace to increase roughly one thousand, two hundred dollars for
- 4:42Speaker 3: the average worker this year alone under President Donald Trump. Now,
- 4:47Speaker 3: if the economy is in such bad shape, how is
- 4:50Speaker 3: it that wages are going up like this? Now, There's
- 4:53Speaker 3: no doubt that a lot of the money we're making
- 4:56Speaker 3: now is going to goods and services that are high price.
- 5:00Speaker 3: The President also working on that, saying, quote, what we're
- 5:04Speaker 3: doing this is a complete reversal when we saw inflation
- 5:09Speaker 3: skyrocket to nine percent, causing private sector workers to see
- 5:13Speaker 3: their wages decline by approximately three thousand dollars, while Americans
- 5:19Speaker 3: are still suffering the consequences of the four years of
- 5:22Speaker 3: economic disaster the Biden administration. The White House Press Secretary
- 5:26Speaker 3: said Donald Trump is making significant progress to fix this
- 5:30Speaker 3: and he will not stop working until he solves it.
- 5:33Speaker 3: As the President recently stated he is never satisfied.
- 5:37Speaker 1: In economic news, the September jobs report showed the American
- 5:41Speaker 1: economy remains strong, with one hundred and nineteen thousand new
- 5:45Speaker 1: jobs added, more than double expectations. These gains came after
- 5:50Speaker 1: the summer passage of President Trump's historic tax cuts and
- 5:54Speaker 1: multiple big trade deals with countries around the world. In particular,
- 5:59Speaker 1: construction surge by nineteen thousand in September, the largest monthly
- 6:04Speaker 1: gain in a year. Nearly all of this solid monthly
- 6:08Speaker 1: job growth came from the private sector and went to
- 6:10Speaker 1: Americans rather than foreign born workers, the opposite of what
- 6:15Speaker 1: we saw under the previous administration. Inflation also remains under
- 6:19Speaker 1: control and wages are up by three point eight percent
- 6:22Speaker 1: over the year for American workers because of President Trump's
- 6:26Speaker 1: pro growth policies. In fact, real wages are on pace
- 6:30Speaker 1: to increase roughly twelve hundred dollars for the average worker
- 6:34Speaker 1: this year under President Trump. This is a complete reversal
- 6:38Speaker 1: of the failed Biden era, when we saw inflation's skyrocket
- 6:42Speaker 1: to nine percent, causing private sector workers to see their
- 6:45Speaker 1: wages decline by approximately three thousand dollars. We know that
- 6:50Speaker 1: Americans are still hurting from the four decade high inflation
- 6:53Speaker 1: caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats, but President Trump
- 6:57Speaker 1: is making significant progress to fix this and he will
- 7:00Speaker 1: not stop working until he solves it. As the President
- 7:04Speaker 1: recently stated, he is never satisfied.
- 7:08Speaker 3: The White House Press Secretary wasn't the only one talking
- 7:11Speaker 3: about the positives and the economy. Vice President j. D.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Vance also pointing to the economic realities of Yes, things
- 7:18Speaker 3: are bad in some categories because of what happened over
- 7:22Speaker 3: the last four years, but the Biden administration didn't ruin America,
- 7:26Speaker 3: and Donald Trump is fixing it as fast as he
- 7:29Speaker 3: possibly can. Here's what the Vice President had to say
- 7:32Speaker 3: in a Breitbart News event on Thursday.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Vice President, the big news this morning has new jobs
- 7:37Speaker 4: numbers blew away expectations huge from the September numbers, so
- 7:41Speaker 4: these were delayed because of the government shut down. More
- 7:43Speaker 4: than double one hundred nineteen thousand new jobs. And then
- 7:46Speaker 4: also there's some interesting stuff in the wages numbers there
- 7:49Speaker 4: as well. This shows wages on the rise. Your thoughts
- 7:52Speaker 4: on the jobs numbers.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Okay, so a huge jobs report, and I assume the
- 7:55Speaker 5: market is going crazy right now, probably just opened, because
- 7:58Speaker 5: what the shows is that the economic policies are actually
- 8:01Speaker 5: working and you've got one hundred nineteen thousand new jobs.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Economists thought that we would have about fifty thousand new jobs,
- 8:07Speaker 5: but that's actually just the headline number. If you look
- 8:09Speaker 5: below the surface, I think the numbers are actually better.
- 8:11Speaker 5: So Number one, wages continue to weigh out pace inflation.
- 8:15Speaker 5: If you go back to the three years of the
- 8:17Speaker 5: Biden administration, the average American worker actually lost about three
- 8:21Speaker 5: thousand dollars of take home pay. In the first ten
- 8:24Speaker 5: months of the Trump economy, We've increased take home pay
- 8:26Speaker 5: by about twelve hundred dollars, adjusting for inflation. So that's
- 8:29Speaker 5: a huge, huge thing, and this job's report confirms that.
- 8:33Speaker 3: So if you go back to the lie being told
- 8:35Speaker 3: by the media that things are terrible, they weren't freaking
- 8:37Speaker 3: out when that workers lost about three thousand dollars of
- 8:41Speaker 3: take home pay under the Biden administration. In the first
- 8:45Speaker 3: ten months of the Trump economy, you've got wage increases,
- 8:50Speaker 3: a take home pay of about one two hundred dollars.
- 8:53Speaker 3: That is a massive forty two one hundred dollars swing. Now,
- 8:59Speaker 3: I also so highlighted the private sectors driving this economy growth,
- 9:03Speaker 3: and the jobs are going to native born citizens rather
- 9:08Speaker 3: than foreign workers. It's a drastic change from the reality
- 9:11Speaker 3: under the Biden administration. And what happened under the Biden
- 9:15Speaker 3: administration is to the extent that there was any job
- 9:19Speaker 3: growth at all. If you look at the data, JD.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Van said, almost all of the net job creation in
- 9:25Speaker 3: the United States under the Biden administration went to foreign
- 9:29Speaker 3: born workers. Now, of course, some of those people are
- 9:32Speaker 3: illegal immigrants in the United States of America, he continued,
- 9:35Speaker 3: but that meant a lot of the job creation was
- 9:37Speaker 3: actually going to legal aliens who shouldn't have been in
- 9:40Speaker 3: our country. Senator Bernie Marino, Republican from Ohio, also pointed
- 9:45Speaker 3: out the fact that the influx of foreign workers imported
- 9:49Speaker 3: by the Biden administration really hurt American workers, and Americans
- 9:53Speaker 3: are remember the damage that was inflicted upon the country
- 9:57Speaker 3: under the Biden administration, and it cannot be done done
- 10:00Speaker 3: what they did to this country in a matter of months,
- 10:02Speaker 3: surging this country with up to twenty million illegal immigrants.
- 10:06Speaker 3: He also urged Republicans to respond with urgency, saying these
- 10:11Speaker 3: realities coincide with the Trump administration celebrating the strides made
- 10:16Speaker 3: in the affordability crisis since Donald Trump took office in January.
- 10:21Speaker 3: That includes falling gas prices which reach record highs under
- 10:26Speaker 3: Joe Biden, as well as dipping mortgage rates, falling inflation,
- 10:31Speaker 3: and boose and take home pay. Those victories do not
- 10:35Speaker 3: even include what the Trump administration has achieved through trade
- 10:39Speaker 3: deals and historic investments secured by the president, all of
- 10:43Speaker 3: which the President has been talking about his steps in
- 10:46Speaker 3: the right direction. What the media should be calling this
- 10:51Speaker 3: is the Trump Effect. Since President Donald Trump returned to office,
- 10:55Speaker 3: it's very clear that his America First economic policies have
- 10:59Speaker 3: sparked trillions of dollars in new investments in US manufacturing, technology,
- 11:05Speaker 3: and infrastructure. Total US and foreign investment is now at
- 11:09Speaker 3: nine trillion dollars. Where's the money coming from? The UAE
- 11:14Speaker 3: putting in foreign investments of one point four trillion into
- 11:17Speaker 3: manufacturing and industry, technology, aerospace as well, Katar putting one
- 11:24Speaker 3: point two trillion into America again in manufacturing, an industry
- 11:28Speaker 3: sector with technology and manufacturing being the main point. Japan
- 11:32Speaker 3: one trillion into auto plants in US steel, Apple six
- 11:37Speaker 3: hundred billion into technology and manufacturing as well. EU firms
- 11:42Speaker 3: putting in general investment of six hundred billion, Saudi Arabia
- 11:47Speaker 3: putting in six hundred billion and now saying it's going
- 11:49Speaker 3: to go to one trillion dollars again in technology and manufacturing,
- 11:55Speaker 3: Soft Bank, Open AI and Oracle five hundred billion all
- 11:59Speaker 3: A AI infrastructure projects, Navidia a half a trillion dollars
- 12:05Speaker 3: in AI infrastructure and supercomputers, India investing a half a
- 12:09Speaker 3: billion and mutual trade expansion South Korea four hundred and
- 12:14Speaker 3: fifty billion US energy products, Micron two hundred billion semiconductor
- 12:20Speaker 3: manufacturing and research and development, IBM one hundred and fifty
- 12:25Speaker 3: billion of growth and manufacturing operations in the US, Pfizer
- 12:30Speaker 3: seventy billion into research, development and capital projects, and Google
- 12:36Speaker 3: sixty eight billion for AI infrastructure, electrician grants, hydropower facilities,
- 12:43Speaker 3: just to name a few. There are countless investments. I
- 12:46Speaker 3: could go on and on with Johnson Johnson, Astrozeneca, Bristol Myers, Squib, Amazon, Hondai, Eli, Lilly.
- 12:55Speaker 3: The list is long. But what did the President do here?
- 12:59Speaker 3: He made it. If you want to do business in America,
- 13:03Speaker 3: you need to invest in America. You can't just export
- 13:06Speaker 3: or import. You must be a real player in this country.
- 13:10Speaker 3: And that is exactly why the President has made it
- 13:13Speaker 3: possible through his leadership for the USC a surge of
- 13:16Speaker 3: private and foreign investments that are fueling job growth, innovation,
- 13:21Speaker 3: and opportunity across every corner of the country. So yet again,
- 13:27Speaker 3: President making good on a promise, even though the media
- 13:30Speaker 3: is trying to tell you that everything's terrible in America,
- 13:33Speaker 3: and the reality is we're moving in the right direction.
