- 0:00Speaker 1: That's not my signature and it's not the way I speak,
- 0:03Speaker 1: and anybody that's covered me for a long time, no,
- 0:06Speaker 1: that's not my language. It's nonsense. And frankly, you're wasting
- 0:10Speaker 1: your time. All you do is trying to get off
- 0:12Speaker 1: the great success of DC and about two hundred other
- 0:15Speaker 1: things weeks under it so successful.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning.
- 0:22Speaker 4: It's so nice to have you with us on the
- 0:23Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update, and we've got.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Two major stories for you.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Bombshell documents are now blowing wide open the Biden auto
- 0:31Speaker 4: pin scandal, and it's now putting a spotlight on who
- 0:35Speaker 4: may have been rund the country in the last year.
- 0:37Speaker 4: It wasn't the president, it could have been the Vice president,
- 0:41Speaker 4: Kamala Harris.
- 0:42Speaker 3: How do we know this.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Because the White House lawyers were talking about it in
- 0:46Speaker 4: emails that we now have. I'll give you all those
- 0:49Speaker 4: shocking details in just a moment. Also, we're finding out
- 0:54Speaker 4: just how bad the economy actually was under Joe Biden
- 0:57Speaker 4: and the people in charge of this statistics on job
- 1:01Speaker 4: numbers while they were lying in a partisan way that
- 1:04Speaker 4: we never have seen before, creating out of thin air,
- 1:09Speaker 4: literally millions of jobs that they knew were never filled.
- 1:14Speaker 4: But before we get to those stories, I want to
- 1:16Speaker 4: take a moment and I want to talk to you
- 1:18Speaker 4: real quick about what you can do to help the
- 1:21Speaker 4: people in Israel. It was nearly two years ago that
- 1:25Speaker 4: the terrorists murdered more than twelve hundred innocent Israelis and
- 1:30Speaker 4: they took two hundred and fifty hostages. Today it seems
- 1:33Speaker 4: as if the cries of the dead and dying have
- 1:35Speaker 4: been drowned out by the shouts of anti Semitism and
- 1:38Speaker 4: just pure hatred, not just in America but around the world.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And the most brutal attack on Jewish people happened. It
- 1:45Speaker 4: happened since the Holocausts, and now it's like they're trying
- 1:49Speaker 4: to act like it never happened. Now, this is where
- 1:52Speaker 4: it is important for us to stand with the people
- 1:54Speaker 4: in Israel. It's a movement of love and support for
- 1:58Speaker 4: the people of Israel, and this is where I want
- 2:02Speaker 4: you to get involved.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It is called Flags of Fellowship.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It's being organized by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 2:10Speaker 4: On October fifth, you can stand with Israel and the
- 2:14Speaker 4: victims proudly. Just a few weeks away, millions across America
- 2:20Speaker 4: will prayerfully plant an Israeli flag in honor and solidarity
- 2:24Speaker 4: with the victims of October the seventh, twenty twenty three,
- 2:28Speaker 4: and stand with their grieving families. You can be a
- 2:32Speaker 4: part of this movement as well. And that's what I
- 2:35Speaker 4: love about what IFCJ does. They're making sure that the
- 2:39Speaker 4: world knows there are lots of people of faith in
- 2:42Speaker 4: this country and friends and advocates for Israel.
- 2:46Speaker 3: They're going to stand with them.
- 2:47Speaker 4: You can get more information about how you can join
- 2:50Speaker 4: the Flags of Fellowship movement, including your church. There are
- 2:54Speaker 4: going to be countless churches around the country they're going
- 2:56Speaker 4: to plant flags as well. So all you have to
- 2:59Speaker 4: do to get involved with Flags of Fellowship movement is
- 3:02Speaker 4: go to IFCJ dot org. That's IFCJ dot org. Stand
- 3:09Speaker 4: with Israel on October the fifth. It's just a few
- 3:11Speaker 4: weeks away, and if your church you think would want
- 3:14Speaker 4: to be involved, you can also find out more about
- 3:16Speaker 4: how to get your church to be involved on a
- 3:18Speaker 4: special Sunday at IFCJ dot org. That's if CJ dot org.
- 3:25Speaker 4: It's the forty seven morning update and it starts right now.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:30Speaker 4: New documents are blowing open the Biden autopen scandal and
- 3:34Speaker 4: now putting a serious spotlight on Kamala Harris. There are
- 3:38Speaker 4: newly uncovered internal documents that are shedding light on what
- 3:43Speaker 4: was going on at the White House on former President
- 3:45Speaker 4: Joe Biden's use so the auto pen and alleged outsourcing
- 3:49Speaker 4: quote unquote of decision making during his final year in office.
- 3:54Speaker 4: The former president has insisted that he personally made all
- 3:58Speaker 4: decisions regarding the pardon executive orders and calling claims the
- 4:02Speaker 4: contrary quote ridiculous and false. But the memos tell a
- 4:07Speaker 4: different story. The internal memos and emails indicate that critical decisions,
- 4:12Speaker 4: including clemencies, were quietly delegated to others, others who were
- 4:17Speaker 4: not elected officials, Others who were not the President of
- 4:20Speaker 4: the United States of America. Now one of the others
- 4:24Speaker 4: includes former Vice President Kamala Harris, and it remains unclear
- 4:29Speaker 4: whether Biden formally approves certain decisions. Multiple outlets are now
- 4:34Speaker 4: confirming this. Biden aides initially insisted that he personally signed
- 4:40Speaker 4: by hand any official presidential actions, but by the end
- 4:45Speaker 4: of his term, the standard had been abandoned. According to
- 4:48Speaker 4: an internal memo obtained by Just the News, based on
- 4:52Speaker 4: precedent from the Obama Biden administration, regarding which documents generally
- 4:57Speaker 4: are hand signed by the president, are recommend is that
- 5:01Speaker 4: as a general rule, you quote unquote personally approve and
- 5:06Speaker 4: hand sign all decisions that require presidential actions. That is
- 5:10Speaker 4: what it says on a February twenty twenty one draft
- 5:14Speaker 4: memo distributed to top White House officials. Now, by February
- 5:19Speaker 4: of twenty twenty four, authorization for clemency actions increasingly relied
- 5:25Speaker 4: on the vice president's approval, not the actual president of
- 5:29Speaker 4: the United States of America. That according to a draft
- 5:32Speaker 4: memo circulated by the White House Counsel's office, Yes, that
- 5:36Speaker 4: would be the White House's lawyers quote. Given the President's schedule,
- 5:41Speaker 4: it can often take days or weeks for the President
- 5:44Speaker 4: to review and approve the clemency package, the lawyer's memo read.
- 5:50Speaker 4: The Chief of Staff's office has been helpful in getting
- 5:53Speaker 4: the paper in front of him for his review, he
- 5:56Speaker 4: previously asked the White House Council discussed the candidates with him,
- 6:00Speaker 4: although in the last round, the vice presidential approval was
- 6:04Speaker 4: sufficient to obtain his approval. The lawyers noted so again
- 6:10Speaker 4: in writing, the lawyers at Biden's White House were saying,
- 6:13Speaker 4: He's not running the show, it's the Vice president and others. Now,
- 6:17Speaker 4: the Trump White House concluded that this memo shows the
- 6:21Speaker 4: former president was effectively outsourcing clemency decision to Harris during
- 6:26Speaker 4: his final year, and, by the way, to put it
- 6:28Speaker 4: in perspective, during his four years in the White House,
- 6:32Speaker 4: Biden granted an unprecedented four thousand, two hundred and forty
- 6:36Speaker 4: five acts of clemency, more than any previous president on record.
- 6:40Speaker 4: All of Biden's pardons from December to January, including those
- 6:44Speaker 4: of his family members as well as doctor Anthony Fauci
- 6:48Speaker 4: and General Martin Milly, were reportedly signed not by the President,
- 6:53Speaker 4: but signed by auto pen. In fact, there was only
- 6:56Speaker 4: one preemptive pardon, one pardon that was signed by the president,
- 7:00Speaker 4: and that was for his son Hunter.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Biden.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Internal emails casts even furthered out on whether Biden approved
- 7:07Speaker 4: the commutations of more than two thousand, five hundred inmates
- 7:11Speaker 4: jailed for crack cocaine offenses in January. The New York
- 7:14Speaker 4: Post is now reporting, so what do we have more
- 7:18Speaker 4: evidence that the President of the United States of America,
- 7:21Speaker 4: Joe Biden, was not calling the shots and was not
- 7:24Speaker 4: actually even deciding who was getting pardons or clemency, which
- 7:29Speaker 4: brings up the bigger question are these pardons and clemency
- 7:33Speaker 4: actually legal? Now that is a question this administration is
- 7:37Speaker 4: obviously looking into.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Now, Story number two, I want you to listen.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Very carefully to the numbers I'm about to give you,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and I want you to understand just how big the
- 7:46Speaker 4: lies were to act like the economy actually wasn't in
- 7:50Speaker 4: terrible shape when Democrats were in charge and they were
- 7:53Speaker 4: running for reelection, they just made up hundreds of thousands
- 7:57Speaker 4: of jobs.
- 7:58Speaker 3: We just got these new.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Numbers in that there was almost a million, nine hundred
- 8:03Speaker 4: eleven thousand fewer jobs were created between April of twenty
- 8:07Speaker 4: twenty four and March of twenty twenty five.
- 8:10Speaker 3: The Bureau of Labor Statistics is saying that isn't just
- 8:13Speaker 3: a revision.
- 8:15Speaker 4: That is a revision that is on a level that
- 8:18Speaker 4: clearly is straight up fraud.
- 8:20Speaker 3: You don't get these numbers this wrong.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Look at polling when they have a margin of air
- 8:26Speaker 4: of plus or minus three percent, or if it's a
- 8:28Speaker 4: bad pull four percent. If it's a horrific poll five percent,
- 8:31Speaker 4: you're telling me the federal government sucks so bad at
- 8:35Speaker 4: counting jobs same people, by the way, they're supposed to
- 8:37Speaker 4: be collecting taxes on these jobs, that they got it
- 8:41Speaker 4: wrong by nine hundred and eleven thousand jobs.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The answer is obviously no. What does this mean.
- 8:47Speaker 4: It means the labor market was weak, extremely weak, well
- 8:52Speaker 4: before the tariffs kicked in. The job market was frozen
- 8:56Speaker 4: in twenty twenty four as well. In fact, the average
- 8:59Speaker 4: job gain revision showed just one hundred and forty seven
- 9:02Speaker 4: thousand jobs per month. That is an average job gain
- 9:06Speaker 4: after revisions of seventy one thousand a month. Now, this
- 9:10Speaker 4: annual quote revision process is normal. What's not normal is
- 9:15Speaker 4: how big they're missing these numbers. The Bureau of Labor
- 9:18Speaker 4: Statistics does it every year, and they apparently just lie
- 9:22Speaker 4: when Democrats are in office.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'll give you an example.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Last August, right in the heat of the election, the
- 9:27Speaker 4: labor the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported negative eight hundred
- 9:32Speaker 4: and eighteen thousand fewer jobs. Yes, these were large, massive
- 9:38Speaker 4: corruption revisions, is how I describe it. Why did this happen?
- 9:43Speaker 4: It happened because they wanted to say the economy isn't
- 9:46Speaker 4: as bad as it really was when Joe Biden was
- 9:49Speaker 4: running for reelection. So the takeaway, and this is what
- 9:52Speaker 4: I want you to really understand. Number one, Donald Trump
- 9:56Speaker 4: clearly inherited a massive mess. It is a absolute scandal
- 10:02Speaker 4: of gigantic proportions that our government was lying to the
- 10:07Speaker 4: American people trying to make you feel like things are
- 10:10Speaker 4: better than they actually are. Caroline Levitt, the White House
- 10:14Speaker 4: pre Secretary, said it this way.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Quote Today the Bureau of Laboratistics.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Released the largest downward revision on record in history. I'm
- 10:25Speaker 4: going to say that again, the Bureau of Labor Statistics
- 10:27Speaker 4: released the largest downward revision on record ever. Why did
- 10:32Speaker 4: this happen because they wanted Joe Biden to win? Carolin
- 10:36Speaker 4: Levitt said, it provides more understanding online. President Donald Trump
- 10:40Speaker 4: took action to address concerns about reporting accuracy at the Bureau,
- 10:44Speaker 4: with Levitt saying it proves that President Trump was right.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Biden's economy was a disaster and the Bureau of Labor
- 10:50Speaker 4: Statistics is straight up broken. The White House added quote,
- 10:54Speaker 4: this is exactly why we need new leadership to restore
- 10:57Speaker 4: trust and confidence in the death on behalf of the
- 11:01Speaker 4: financial markets, on behalf of businesses, policymakers, and families that
- 11:05Speaker 4: rely on this data to make major decisions. Now, the
- 11:08Speaker 4: White House on August first released a list of errors
- 11:11Speaker 4: and missions by the Bureau of Laboratistics.
- 11:14Speaker 3: By the way, this is like their entire job, which.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Is accused of inaccuracies and also now in competency. And
- 11:21Speaker 4: the White House also pointing a finger at Commissioner Erica
- 11:25Speaker 4: Mickin Tarfer, who was appointed to the role by former
- 11:29Speaker 4: President Joe Biden. Among those examples, was not only them
- 11:33Speaker 4: issuing another massive revision of these jobs, more than eight
- 11:36Speaker 4: hundred thousand were overestimated and what was the second largest
- 11:40Speaker 4: downward revision for the BLS as well.
- 11:43Speaker 3: And so this means two in a row.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Okay, two years in a row they were lying to
- 11:47Speaker 4: you about how bad the numbers were, or they were
- 11:49Speaker 4: just making up literally almost two million jobs that didn't exist. Now,
- 11:54Speaker 4: Donald Trump fired Erica just hours after the release of
- 11:59Speaker 4: the July jobs which showed weaker than expected job growth
- 12:02Speaker 4: and significant downward revisions for May and June. That's when
- 12:06Speaker 4: the Left was like, you can't do this as a
- 12:08Speaker 4: nonpartisan Well, it is partisan, clearly. It was because she
- 12:11Speaker 4: created two million jobs out of thin air to help
- 12:14Speaker 4: Joe Biden and the Democrats. The Labor Secretary, by the way,
- 12:18Speaker 4: posting on Tuesday that the negative drop of numbers from
- 12:21Speaker 4: the Bureau of Labor Satistics reveals a quote problem, saying
- 12:25Speaker 4: today's massive downward revision gives the American people even more
- 12:29Speaker 4: reason to doubt the integrity of data being published by
- 12:32Speaker 4: our government. It's imperative for the data to remain accurate, impartial,
- 12:37Speaker 4: and never altered for political gain. Now, within two weeks
- 12:41Speaker 4: of firing the individual who's overseeing this insanity, Trump also
- 12:46Speaker 4: named Heritage Foundation chief economists and Tony to lead the Bureau.
- 12:51Speaker 4: His nomination is also waiting Senate confirmation, something that I
- 12:55Speaker 4: think clearly should be done as soon as possible. Which
- 12:58Speaker 4: brings me to Steven Moore, former Trump campaign senior economic advisor.
- 13:02Speaker 4: You may know him from Fox News and Fox Business.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I want you to hear what he had to say
- 13:06Speaker 4: about the far fewer jobs added than expected in August,
- 13:09Speaker 4: and also when he says about the job report revisions
- 13:12Speaker 4: in general.
- 13:13Speaker 5: The week optimistic, We're going to see a rate cut
- 13:15Speaker 5: next week after we got the key jobs report for August,
- 13:18Speaker 5: the first one since President Trump fired the Commissioner of
- 13:21Speaker 5: the Bureau of Labor Statistics last month. There were questions
- 13:24Speaker 5: over the accuracy of the data, the report.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Showing much fewer.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Jobs added in August than expected, only twenty two thousand
- 13:31Speaker 5: versus the estimate of seventy five thousand, and the unemployment
- 13:35Speaker 5: rate now at its highest level since October of twenty
- 13:37Speaker 5: twenty one. We also got revisions showing twenty one thousand
- 13:40Speaker 5: fewer jobs created in June and July than previously reported.
- 13:45Speaker 5: For more on this and what it means for the
- 13:47Speaker 5: Fed's next move, I'm joining my Committee to Unleash Prosperity
- 13:50Speaker 5: co founder Steve Moore. Steve, it's great to see you
- 13:52Speaker 5: talk to me about your thoughts on this job's report.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Pretty big miss on the estimate.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Well sure, wise, but you know, it's interesting. I think
- 14:00Speaker 6: one of the takeaways from this report is how increasingly
- 14:04Speaker 6: unreliable these jobs numbers are. And you know, we talk,
- 14:08Speaker 6: you and I and Maria talk about this every first
- 14:11Speaker 6: Friday of every month, and we're seeing these gyrations in
- 14:15Speaker 6: the numbers. And also one of the things that hasn't
- 14:18Speaker 6: been really widely reported is that there's two surveys. One
- 14:22Speaker 6: survey had a big increase in jobs by I think
- 14:25Speaker 6: I don't remember the exact number, close to three hundred thousand,
- 14:28Speaker 6: whereas the one that's reported the headline number was what
- 14:30Speaker 6: twenty eight thousand. So we need to clean up these numbers, Cheryl,
- 14:34Speaker 6: because it's we make so many economic decisions based on
- 14:39Speaker 6: these jobs numbers. And I've been doing this for thirty
- 14:42Speaker 6: five years. I think, look at the re estimates. They
- 14:45Speaker 6: keep changing the numbers every month.
- 14:47Speaker 4: I would ask you something, but by the way, you
- 14:49Speaker 4: listen to what Steve Moore says. He's saying, and it's true,
- 14:52Speaker 4: so many people make business decisions off of this data
- 14:55Speaker 4: and information. By the way, that's why this data is
- 14:58Speaker 4: supposed to be done by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
- 15:02Speaker 4: It's supposed to be non biased in the way that
- 15:05Speaker 4: it is done. And we have a very clear problem
- 15:08Speaker 4: here where there has been a massive politicization of these
- 15:12Speaker 4: numbers to try to help out democrats when they're running
- 15:15Speaker 4: for office. They created two million jobs that they knew
- 15:20Speaker 4: weren't there, just so the economy would look like it's
- 15:23Speaker 4: better than it actually is now. Also, I think the
- 15:25Speaker 4: American people understood how bad it was, and so they like,
- 15:30Speaker 4: that's why they voted for Donald Trump.
- 15:32Speaker 3: But it had to be really bad for them to
- 15:34Speaker 3: see it.
- 15:35Speaker 4: And so this is again one of the examples of
- 15:38Speaker 4: the massive lies of the left, and it's something that
- 15:41Speaker 4: absolutely should okay, it's something that should never ever, ever
- 15:45Speaker 4: ever happen, period, full stop. This is why Trump is
- 15:49Speaker 4: going after this, this is why there needs to be reformed.
- 15:52Speaker 3: It is truly insane.
