- 0:36Catchers abound. I'm Stella Ferris, and you've
- 0:39crash -landed on the Monster Catchers Journal
- 0:41podcast. Today's episode is unlike any I've recorded
- 0:45before. It's not about claws or teeth, wings
- 0:47or venom, no. Today's glyph is made of something
- 0:50much older, much deeper, music, but not the kind
- 0:55that lifts your spirits, the one that sinks its
- 0:59claws into your soul, one note at a time. So
- 1:05it all started when I received a strange object
- 1:09from Professor Orion, a broken shard of glass
- 1:13that vibrated with sound even when silent. He
- 1:16said it came from a collapsed amphitheater just
- 1:19outside the Storm Scar Delta, a place long forgotten
- 1:24by the locals and left to echo in ruin. Orion
- 1:27believed it was a rhythm glyph fragment. He warned
- 1:31me if the shard starts to hum run, Of course,
- 1:35you know me, I didn't listen. I made my way to
- 1:43the Opus Ruins, a sunken concert hall hidden
- 1:46beneath a jungle overtaken by vines and silence.
- 1:50My glyphid pulsed the moment I stepped inside,
- 1:54as if trying to warn me. And then I heard it,
- 1:57a melody, a faint melody at first, but getting
- 2:01louder as it went on. It wasn't just in my ears.
- 2:08I could feel it in my bones, in the air, in the
- 2:11floorboards. It was playing me. That's when I
- 2:16saw him. Floating above the center stage, cloaked
- 2:22in tattered sheet music, surrounded by broken
- 2:25flutes and violin strings that twisted through
- 2:28the air like ribbons, his porcelain mask was
- 2:31cracked. but somehow still elegant. This was
- 2:35Tones. Professor Orian had told me stories of
- 2:42the Musakith, early rhythm glyphs who were said
- 2:49to conduct harmony across Nibiru's natural frequencies.
- 2:55Tones was one of them, a conductor of the resonant
- 2:58wells. Ancient sites where sound shaped the world.
- 3:06But centuries ago during the First Vow Severance,
- 3:10Tone's symphony was interrupted. Its final note
- 3:14never played. The silence broke him. And in the
- 3:17wake of that broken composition, his mind began
- 3:21to fracture. Now he doesn't play music to heal,
- 3:25he plays it to control. When I really raised
- 3:29my glyphid tones responded with his first move
- 3:33Ders pulse a haunting wave of sound that slowed
- 3:37time and me Dragging my limbs like molasses.
- 3:42I could hear every heartbeat echo I sent out
- 3:46or a beak in ignis or a to help stabilize The
- 3:51rhythm filled but he wasn't done He unleashed
- 3:55crescendo chains, sharp harmonic bindings that
- 3:59trapped Orabique in mid -flight, each chain tightening
- 4:03with the beat. Every time the tempo rose, so
- 4:06did the pain. When I centered with a reflective
- 4:12glyph ability, tones used requiem of reversal,
- 4:17twisting my move and reflecting it back in a
- 4:20corrupted, dissonant form. He was writing his
- 4:25own version of my fight, and then the final move,
- 4:28Dissonant Rift, ripped across the stage, shattering
- 4:31my equilibrium and scrambling our glyphs' abilities.
- 4:37For three turns straight, it was chaos, but then
- 4:40I remembered something. That shard from Orion,
- 4:47the one humming, it matched the song I'd heard
- 4:49in the dreams days earlier. I sing. Just three
- 4:53notes. The ending of the symphony tones had never
- 4:56finished. I don't know how I knew them. Maybe
- 5:00the shard taught me. Maybe the music was waiting
- 5:04for someone who could fill it. Tones froze. The
- 5:10broken instruments fell from the air. He looked
- 5:14at me with not anger, but relief. He didn't vanish.
- 5:17He didn't attack again. He simply lowered to
- 5:20the stage and dissolved into a single floating
- 5:22note, etched into my glyphid with a golden shimmer.
- 5:27I didn't catch tones, I completed him. Back at
- 5:35my pyramid house, Senna asked me what happened.
- 5:38I told her not all glyphs need to be fought.
- 5:41Some just need to be heard. Tones may have been
- 5:43a villain to some, but he was never evil, just
- 5:47unfinished. and now his melody plays in harmony
- 5:50and so yeah i should say that zena did let me
- 5:56take ignisura for this fight because her and
- 6:01luna could not be there for this fight so they
- 6:04let me borrow their glyphs i had caught the music
- 6:13glyph tones was mine Thanks to my two best friends
- 6:16Zena and Luna for lending me their glyphs because
- 6:19they couldn't make it. Now the hard part was
- 6:22next, and that's telling Professor Orion the
- 6:25news. He'd been saying for weeks that there was
- 6:28more to studying at Luan Academy than catching
- 6:32glyphs. I really don't believe it, but you know.
- 6:36I walked up the long brick path that led to the
- 6:39Academy and went inside. I moved down the core
- 6:42door that always led me to Or - Professor Orion's
- 6:45class. And there he was, poured over some old
- 6:48dusty star charts, as always. I caught him, I
- 6:52said. It took a second for Professor Orion to
- 6:56look up, but when he did, his face had a stern
- 6:59look on it. You know, Quasar, there is more to
- 7:03learning than catching the glyphs. There's other
- 7:06classes as well, like history, science, and a
- 7:08couple others, like potions and broom writing,
- 7:11and magic, for those who have... found themselves
- 7:14with their own magic powers, Orion said. Was
- 7:18I one of them, I wondered? Was Orion a wizard?
- 7:23I stood there feeling the weight of his words
- 7:25settle in the air around me. Professor Orion
- 7:27was still staring at me, his intense gaze unwavering,
- 7:31though his expression had softened slightly as
- 7:34if giving me space to process what he'd just
- 7:36said. I shifted on my feet, unsure whether I
- 7:39should explain myself or ask the question that
- 7:41had been burning at the back of my mind. Professor,
- 7:45I began, my voice quieter now than before. Do
- 7:53you have magic powers? The question hung in the
- 7:57air and for a moment I thought I might have crossed
- 7:59a line. Oran set his star charts aside, folding
- 8:03his hands at his desk with a calm but calculated
- 8:07motion. That's a rather personal question, Quasar,"
- 8:10he said, his voice steady, but carrying an edge
- 8:13of curiosity. But it's not the first time you've
- 8:16asked something like that. You want to know about
- 8:19magic, don't you? I nodded, yes. I feel like
- 8:23there's so much more to learn beyond just capturing
- 8:25glyphs now. Maybe I could. Orion held up a hand,
- 8:29stopping me mid -sentence. That's exactly what
- 8:32I mean. There are many paths to follow at Luan,
- 8:35Quasar. Your talent may be with glyphs, but that
- 8:38doesn't mean they'll always be the only thing
- 8:41you'll excel at. I couldn't help but feel the
- 8:46sting of disappointment, but you said... Yes,
- 8:51I've said catching glyphs is only part of the
- 8:53journey, Orion interrupted, but it's not about
- 8:55putting all your focus on one thing, magic, history,
- 8:59even sciences. These things shape the world around
- 9:02us, and you need to understand them. Understanding
- 9:05your glyphs, how they fit into the greater world,
- 9:09will help you more than just knowing how to catch
- 9:11them. A sense of unease twisted in my stomach.
- 9:15Was I not allowed to focus on glyphs anymore?
- 9:18Was there something wrong with being determined
- 9:20to learn about them? Orion must have sensed my
- 9:25confusion because he continued his tone now softer.
- 9:28Your connection to tones, he said thoughtfully,
- 9:31shows that you have more potential than you may
- 9:33realize. But Tones is not just any glyph. He
- 9:37represents sound, harmony, and balance. You might
- 9:40be feeling that pull to understand music and
- 9:43magic because they are tied together in ways
- 9:46that even I can't fully understand or explain.
- 9:51I paused, harmony, balance, those words, they
- 9:54resonated with me, but I still couldn't fully
- 9:57grasp what he meant. I had caught Tones, yes,
- 10:00but... Was I meant to control him or was there
- 10:03something deeper to our bond? Professor, I ask,
- 10:09my curiosity taking over again. What do you mean
- 10:12by balance? Is that something I need to focus
- 10:14on too? Orion stood up walking slowly towards
- 10:17the far side of the room where a large wooden
- 10:19bookshelf full of ancient tomes lined the wall.
- 10:23He glanced over his shoulder as he pulled a dusty
- 10:25book from the shelf and brought it to me. Balance
- 10:28is what makes everything work together, he said,
- 10:32flipping it open to a page filled with faded
- 10:34illustrations of different elemental glyphs and
- 10:37harmonious formations. It's what keeps chaos
- 10:41from swallowing everything around us. You have
- 10:44a unique gift, Quasar, and tones isn't just a
- 10:47lesson in capturing glyphs. It's a lesson in
- 10:50understanding them and yourself. The two words
- 10:57settled into me, the weight of them only just
- 11:00starting to sink in. Could it be that my path
- 11:03here wasn't about becoming the best capturing
- 11:06glyph? Was there something else waiting for me,
- 11:09something I hadn't yet discovered? Was it time
- 11:11to take my studies in a completely different
- 11:13direction? Oyen's voice brought me back to the
- 11:16present. I'll allow you to continue your focus
- 11:18on tones, Quasar, but I want you to start considering
- 11:21the bigger picture. I'll enroll you in a few
- 11:24new classes next week, and I want you to pay
- 11:26attention, not just to the practical side of
- 11:28things, but to how everything connects." I nodded,
- 11:32a new sense of determination filling me. It wasn't
- 11:35just about glyphs, it was about understanding
- 11:37the world they came from. The rhythm of life,
- 11:40the harmony between the elements, and maybe,
- 11:42just maybe, I would learn something even more
- 11:45important along the way. All right, Professor
- 11:47Oren, I'll try to keep an open mind, I said.
- 11:52A new sense of resolve settling in me. Good,
- 11:56Orion replied with a small smile. Now tell me
- 11:59more about tones. What have you learned so far?
- 12:03And as I began to explain, I realized this journey
- 12:05was only just beginning. And the more I understood,
- 12:08the more I would uncover. And as I explained
- 12:15what I had experienced with tones, I felt the
- 12:22weight of his words as I spoke. Tones at a unique
- 12:26rhythm, something I'd never felt before in any
- 12:29other glyph. It was just the notes. It wasn't
- 12:34just the notes, it was how they connected with
- 12:37my very soul pulling at the deepest parts of
- 12:39me. I felt like we were bound by something far
- 12:43greater than I had imagined. As I was deep in
- 12:46my explanation, the door to the classroom creaked
- 12:49open. and Professor Higete, the academy's assistant,
- 12:54stepped inside with the stack of papers in hand.
- 12:57Ah, good, I see you're both still here, Higete
- 13:00said with a brief smile, walking toward us. She
- 13:03glanced at me, then at Orion before setting the
- 13:06stack of papers down on the desk. Orion raised
- 13:08an eyebrow, what's this? Higete flickered her
- 13:12dark hair over her shoulder. Clearly unfazed,
- 13:17you're not going to like this professor, but
- 13:19it's time to drop the bomb. Quasar has been officially
- 13:22enrolled into the three magic classes, potions,
- 13:24broom writing, and the new magic curriculum for
- 13:27students discovering their own powers. She glanced
- 13:30at me at mischievous smile, crossed her face,
- 13:34congratulations. I blinked, wait, what? Magic
- 13:36classes? The words felt foreign, almost out of
- 13:40place. I wasn't sure I was ready for that. Orion
- 13:45sighed, shaking his head. You don't think I would
- 13:47let you get by with just catching glyphs, do
- 13:50you? I felt a wave of unease settle over me,
- 13:53but I don't even know if I have magic powers.
- 13:56That's for you to discover, Orion replied. You
- 13:59won't get far if you don't open your mind to
- 14:02all that Luan Academy has to offer. Magic doesn't
- 14:05just find you when you ignore it. You have to
- 14:08open it. And besides, it will give you a well
- 14:12-rounded understanding of the world you're diving
- 14:14into. But, you get to cut me off. Don't worry,
- 14:19Quasar. You're not the only one enrolling. Nova's
- 14:21in all three of the classes, too. I froze. Nova,
- 14:27my rival, the one who always seemed to outshine
- 14:30me, the one who constantly made me feel like
- 14:33I was a step behind. She's always been there.
- 14:36Hovering just out of reach, waiting for the moment
- 14:39when she could prove herself better than me.
- 14:42Nova, I ask, unable to hide the disbelief in
- 14:45my voice. She's in the same classes. Yes, of
- 14:49course, Higate said with a shrug. She's been
- 14:51a prodigy in magic for a while now. I imagine
- 14:55she'll breeze through the classes, but don't
- 14:57let that discourage you. Magic is about understanding,
- 15:00not just power. And it's about time we have a
- 15:04good rivalry. Don't you think? I could feel my
- 15:07heart beat quicken, the thought of facing Nova
- 15:09again. This time in classes where magic itself
- 15:14would be the challenge didn't seem like an opportunity.
- 15:16I felt like I was being thrown into a game where
- 15:20the rules weren't in my favor, but Orion's words
- 15:23echoed in my mind. You won't get far if you don't
- 15:25open your mind to all that Luan has to offer.
- 15:29I swallowed hard, so when do these classes start?
- 15:32He could take Lance at Orion. Starting tomorrow,
- 15:35you'll find your schedule posted on the bulletin
- 15:38board. I suggest you get there early. Nova's
- 15:40always the first to show up. The next day I came
- 15:45faster than I expected. I stood in front of the
- 15:48large bulletin board, my heart pounding with
- 15:51uncertainty. The list of names were pinned up,
- 15:54each class filled with students. I searched for
- 15:57my name, a quick line of text beneath the headlines,
- 16:01potions, broom writing, and magic. There it was,
- 16:04right next to Nova's name. I couldn't help the
- 16:08small knot that twisted in my stomach. Nova.
- 16:12And sure enough, there she was, standing nearby,
- 16:15her gaze flickering over the board. Eyes narrowing
- 16:18when she saw my name, I felt her stare before
- 16:22she even spoke. So, Quasar, Nova said coolly,
- 16:28stepping forward. I see, we're in the same classes.
- 16:31How lucky for you, looks like it'll be even more
- 16:34fun having you around to see me excel. I grit
- 16:37at my teeth, not sure if I should respond with
- 16:40a quick retort or just ignore her, but before
- 16:44I could decide, a voice came from behind me.
- 16:46Don't let her get to you, Quasar. A familiar
- 16:49voice said, soft but reassuring, it was Luna
- 16:53and Xena, standing just a few feet away. Offering
- 16:58me encouraging smiles, Xena nudged me with her
- 17:01elbow. You've got this. Just remember, rivalry
- 17:04is not a rivalry or not. We're all here to learn,
- 17:09so don't let Nova or anyone else distract you
- 17:11from that. I nod at trying to push aside the
- 17:14doubt creeping in. This wasn't just about competing
- 17:17with Nova. It was about understanding magic,
- 17:19about figuring out who I truly was in this world
- 17:22beyond the glyphs. Except that, well, we had
- 17:25to use the glyphs in our learning with magic
- 17:30as well. You're right, I said, turning to face
- 17:34the bulletin board again. This is my chance to
- 17:36learn everything. So, now that it was the day
- 17:43of our first class and it had arrived faster
- 17:45than I expected it to, the long corridors of
- 17:48Luon Academy seemed even more daunting now with
- 17:52me standing in front of the bulletin board still.
- 17:55my mind swirling with uncertainty about what
- 17:58lay ahead. Nova's presence in the same class
- 18:01is still lingered in the back of my thoughts,
- 18:03but I tried to push it aside. This wasn't about
- 18:05her. It was about me, about discovering what
- 18:08I could really do. As I made my way to the magic
- 18:12classroom, I found the door wide open. The classroom
- 18:15was a large, airy space with sunlight pouring
- 18:18in through the tall windows, illuminating the
- 18:21wooden floor with that stretched out in every
- 18:24direction. The walls were lined with bookshelves
- 18:27filled with ancient tomes and scrolls, many of
- 18:32which looked far too delicate to even touch.
- 18:35At the front of the room stood a long wooden
- 18:38table piled with various magic implements, wands,
- 18:41crystals, vials of swirling liquids, and at the
- 18:44very back a large chalkboard covered in strange
- 18:48glyphs and symbols. I wasn't alone for long.
- 18:53One by one, students filtered into the classroom,
- 18:56including Nova, who looked as composed as always,
- 18:59her dark eyes scanning the room as if she was
- 19:01analyzing every inch. She barely spared a glance
- 19:04at me. The other students took their seats quietly,
- 19:07and I followed suit, sitting towards the back,
- 19:10hoping to blend in. The door to the classroom
- 19:14creaked as it opened. And in walked Professor
- 19:19Talia, a tall woman with sharp features and a
- 19:23commanding presence. She wore a long robe of
- 19:26deep indigo and her hair was tied back into a
- 19:28tight knot. A subtle shimmering aura surrounded
- 19:32her and the air seemed to hum with energy as
- 19:34she stepped forward. Welcome to advanced magic
- 19:39studies, she said, her voice clear and calm,
- 19:42yet somehow resonant with authority. This class
- 19:46will teach you how to work with magic and your
- 19:49glyphs in harmony. You are not simply learning
- 19:52to wield spells or cast glyphs, or catch glyphs,
- 19:56sorry. You are learning to become one of them,
- 20:00to synchronize your powers and become a living
- 20:02symphony. There was a pause as everyone observed
- 20:06her words. Some students looking uncertain, others
- 20:09intrigued. I felt the weight of what she was
- 20:13saying sink in. This wasn't just about me and
- 20:16my glyphs. This was about working in sync with
- 20:18them. A thought I hadn't fully considered. Professor
- 20:23Talia's eyes swept the room, landing on Nova.
- 20:26For those who have already discovered their magic,
- 20:29she continued, you will begin the process of
- 20:33uniting your personal magic with your glyph energy.
- 20:37Nova, for instance, has an affinity with elemental
- 20:42magic and can use her glyphs to amplify her powers.
- 20:46But we will go beyond that, learning how to draw
- 20:50out the full potential when they work together.
- 20:54I glanced over at Nova, who gave a brief, confident
- 20:59nod. Of course, she had already mastered the
- 21:01art of amplifying her glyphs power. I couldn't
- 21:04help but feel a twinge of envy, but I quickly
- 21:07pushed it aside. This was about my own journey.
- 21:10and I was here to learn. Professor Talia's gaze
- 21:13shifted to me next, and you, Quasar, will learn
- 21:15to work with your rhythm glyph, tones. Your task
- 21:19is not just to catch him, but to synchronize
- 21:22with his energy, allowing his music to flow within
- 21:25you as you flow within him. My heart skipped
- 21:29a beat, synchronized with tones. What? That's
- 21:35a sobering thought. Talia continued, as if reading
- 21:40my mind, the magic here isn't about control,
- 21:43it's about balance. You must learn how to allow
- 21:45the music to flow, to become part of the harmony
- 21:49between your powers and those of your glyphs.
- 21:53No more force, no more dominance. As Professor
- 21:57Talia's words echoed in my head, I felt a strange
- 22:01mixture of nerves, excitement, and anticipation.
- 22:04The idea of syncing with tones of becoming part
- 22:07of the music was something I hadn't considered
- 22:09before, but now that I had the opportunity, I
- 22:12was determined to do my best. After all, the
- 22:15magic here wasn't just about the glyphs, it was
- 22:18about finding harmony, about how hard it is and
- 22:24how hard could it be. I had to admit, I was feeling
- 22:28a little cocky. Nova had always seemed to step
- 22:31ahead. Her magic sharpened and controlled, but
- 22:33maybe, just maybe, this class would be my chance
- 22:37to prove I could hold my own. Professor Talia
- 22:40clapped her hands, drawing our attention. Alright,
- 22:43let's begin the exercise, everyone. Take out
- 22:46your glyphs. We'll start with a simple synchronization
- 22:49practice. You'll each pair with another student
- 22:52and try to draw out the first note of harmony.
- 22:55This is the foundation for all that follows.
- 22:59The bond must be formed first before we can take
- 23:02the next step. I glanced at Nova who had already
- 23:05prepared her glyphid, resting beside her, glowing
- 23:10faintly with anticipation. I could see her setting
- 23:13her posture as though preparing for a challenge.
- 23:17A small smirk played on the corners of her lips.
- 23:20She was always ready for something like this,
- 23:23wasn't she? Feeling a spark of confidence, I
- 23:26reached for Chone's glyphid. I began to hum a
- 23:29soft steady tone in my mind, trying to get the
- 23:32rhythm just right. I had practiced with him enough
- 23:35by now, I could feel the connection. His melody
- 23:39was woven into my very thoughts. But as I tried
- 23:42to sink our energy, something went horribly wrong.
- 23:45I felt the magic swell, but instead of the usual
- 23:48smooth connection, a wild burst of discordant
- 23:52sound shot out of me. It was like cacophony.
- 23:57of screeching violins, squawking horns, and banging
- 24:01drums all rolled into one. The sound lashed out
- 24:07uncontrollably, causing a strange flicker of
- 24:09light to dance in the air. Tone's energy flared
- 24:12up wildly, and for a moment I couldn't hear my
- 24:15own thoughts. Then everything snapped into place,
- 24:17but something was very wrong. I blinked. Standing
- 24:20before me in the spot where Nova had been moments
- 24:23ago was a giant star. but not just any star,
- 24:27a star with a pig's nose. The bright glowing
- 24:30star had a round plump snout in the center of
- 24:34its form, complete with two tiny nostrils, and
- 24:39the cosmic energy around it seemed to shimmer
- 24:42and wobble like it wasn't quite stable. There
- 24:44was a dead silence in the room. The entire class
- 24:47froze. I could feel their eyes on me, but I couldn't
- 24:50bring myself to look at Nova. Or, well, the star
- 24:54that had replaced her. I felt my cheeks burning
- 24:56as I took in what I had just done. I had turned
- 25:00Nova into a cosmic star with a pig nose. Nova,
- 25:03however, was not amused. The star glowed angrily,
- 25:08the light intensifying around the pig nose before
- 25:11it began to speak in a distorted, aggravated
- 25:14tone. What did you do? The voice was unmistakably
- 25:18Nova's. The star pulsated angrily. The pig nose
- 25:22wrinkling as though she was trying to frown.
- 25:25This is not what I had in mind for our first
- 25:27day of magic class. Nova said. I winced, mortified,
- 25:33and tried to step forward. Nova, I'm sorry. I
- 25:36don't know what happened. I just... Clearly,
- 25:40you don't know what happened. Nova's voice rang
- 25:41out, sounding even more irritated. She flickered
- 25:45and twirled in the air as if trying to control
- 25:48the chaos of her current form. This is absolutely
- 25:51ridiculous. A pig nose? Are you serious? Professor
- 25:56Talia's calm yet concerned voice broke through
- 26:00the chaos. Quasar, did you try to synchronize
- 26:03your powers with Nova without considering the
- 26:05consequences of magic that isn't properly aligned?
- 26:08I nodded sheepishly. I thought it would be easy,
- 26:12but I just wanted to get in sync with tones.
- 26:16Talia sighed. Deeply, but I could tell there
- 26:19was no anger in her voice, just disappointment.
- 26:23Magic is not a game, Quasar. It's a powerful
- 26:25and unpredictable thing, especially when you
- 26:28haven't mastered or controlled it. You were too
- 26:33eager to force a bond without understanding the
- 26:36intricacies of the rhythm and the energy behind
- 26:39it. I could feel Nova's fairy radiating through
- 26:43the air. Great! Now I have to deal with this!
- 26:46This pig -no -star situation, she snapped, her
- 26:49cosmic form pulsing angrily. Do you have any
- 26:52idea how much I hate pigs, she added, as though
- 26:56that was the greatest injustice of all. I swallowed
- 27:00hard, desperate to fix my mistake. Nova, I swear
- 27:02I'll fix this. Just give me a second. Fix it?
- 27:06You think you can fix it? She retorted, her voice
- 27:10high -pitched and sharp. the cosmic glow around
- 27:12her, intensifying with her frustration. Do you
- 27:15even know how to undo this? Do you think it feels,
- 27:20or how do you think it feels to be stuck as this?
- 27:22A star pig! I could hear the strain in her voice.
- 27:26She wasn't just angry, she was embarrassed. I
- 27:28didn't blame her. This was a humiliating experience
- 27:32for both of us. Nova, I said, slowly backing
- 27:35away from her, trying to think clearly. I swear
- 27:38I'll fix it. I just need to fix it later, Nova
- 27:41snapped, her voice echoing through the room.
- 27:43Just don't touch anything else unless you know
- 27:45what you're doing. Professor Talia cleared her
- 27:51throat and the tension in the room seemed to
- 27:53settle for a brief moment. You made a mistake,
- 27:55Quasar, and Nova is understandably upset, but
- 27:59this is a learning moment. We will help you to
- 28:01correct this error. Nova will return to her original
- 28:05form, but you will need to focus in recalibrate
- 28:08your understanding of synchronization. You've
- 28:11clearly disrupted something deeply embedded within
- 28:15Nova's magic. Nova flickered again, and I could
- 28:18sense the anger in her aura, shimmering down
- 28:22through, or though I could still hear the faint
- 28:25grumble of irritation. Fine, she muttered, her
- 28:29star form shifting uneasily. But you better figure
- 28:32this out quickly. And if you ever give me a pig
- 28:36nose again, We're gonna have problems. I nodded
- 28:39quickly, my heart still racing, but more focused
- 28:42now on fixing the mistake I had made. I had to
- 28:50fix it. But as I began to focus on correcting
- 28:54the magic, I realized something. This wasn't
- 28:57just about controlling my glyph or Nova's magic,
- 29:00it was about understanding the rhythm of everything.
- 29:03How even a simple mistake could cause a ripple.
- 29:06a wave that affected others in ways I hadn't
- 29:10expected. And it was then that I realized that
- 29:14made me more determined than ever to master the
- 29:17harmony between my magic tones and the unpredictable
- 29:21forces around me. And as I focused, Nova started
- 29:30to gain her form back. Although she wasn't very
- 29:34happy when she did gain her form back, she looked
- 29:38over at me and said, Quasar, I will get you for
- 29:42this. And that's pretty much how it ended. It
- 29:46ended right there because the bell rang and we
- 29:50left school, so went back home and we sat on
- 29:53our porch, me, Xena, and Luna, and we talked
- 29:57about my day and what happened. my friends, fellow
- 30:04travelers, and Monster Catchers abound. This
- 30:08has been the Monster Catchers Journal. May the
- 30:11light of Nibiru shine down on you. Bye now. See
- 30:15you next week.
