- 2:02Speaker 1: shall win him. Come morning, everybody you are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show man, o man, o man?
- 2:14Speaker 1: How many times I got to say that before I
- 2:17Speaker 1: get tired of it. I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I gotta be real with you, because, boy, that Steve
- 2:24Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show man, clear indication of how
- 2:30Speaker 1: God can do some unexpected wonderful things for you, How
- 2:35Speaker 1: he leads your life in directions that you never ever
- 2:38Speaker 1: saw coming. You know, I was talking with somebody the
- 2:40Speaker 1: other day and they were talking about how man, they
- 2:44Speaker 1: were young and they were doing things, and they never
- 2:47Speaker 1: knew that the things that they were doing as a
- 2:49Speaker 1: youngster would come and helped form who they were today
- 2:55Speaker 1: as an adult. This guy's fifty years old, and uh,
- 2:59Speaker 1: you know the same thing for you. If you look
- 3:01Speaker 1: back on your life and all of the things that
- 3:04Speaker 1: you've done, it helps shape you into who you are now.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is provided now that you take the positive approach.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Now when I say look back at your life and
- 3:15Speaker 1: see what you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the
- 3:18Speaker 1: misfortunate moments. Because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's hard to see that when it's happening to you,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really
- 3:31Speaker 1: makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 1: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach, it's when
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's cold, it is raining outside. What really makes you
- 3:43Speaker 1: appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down. See
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you are up all the time. Just the nature
- 3:52Speaker 1: of us as human beings, we would lose our appreciation
- 3:55Speaker 1: for because it becomes case urah, whatever it is, Well,
- 3:58Speaker 1: it is what it is. I'm just what what what
- 4:02Speaker 1: you take it for? Granted, it becomes expected. But what
- 4:05Speaker 1: happens in life, say, is it has so many twisting
- 4:07Speaker 1: turns and then you learn how to deal with those
- 4:10Speaker 1: twisting turns, which makes you now a more experienced person.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And then when the sunny days come, man, you go wild.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how
- 4:20Speaker 1: warm weather. Just stay in a bunch of cold weather
- 4:22Speaker 1: all the time. I'm you know, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm just this is really really simple and now analogies,
- 4:28Speaker 1: but it helps you along the way. Now here's what
- 4:31Speaker 1: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:35Speaker 1: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:38Speaker 1: you what it's done for me, but a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 1: people are struggling with moving forward with their future, their
- 4:46Speaker 1: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:54Speaker 1: their future dreams. Just simply that your future wants a
- 4:58Speaker 1: lot of people trying to having a hard time mapping
- 5:01Speaker 1: out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm
- 5:05Speaker 1: gonna be, what I'm gonna make ham or go about it?
- 5:09Speaker 1: What do I do next? I want to share something
- 5:12Speaker 1: with you that I had to come to terms with.
- 5:14Speaker 1: The quickest way to lose focus on your future is
- 5:19Speaker 1: to keep focusing on your past. You know, It's like
- 5:22Speaker 1: I said at the beginning, you know, when I say
- 5:25Speaker 1: it's wonderful to look at your life and review it,
- 5:28Speaker 1: because if you look at it, it'll tell you it
- 5:32Speaker 1: really helps shape inform you today as the person you
- 5:35Speaker 1: are now. If you look at it in a positive sense.
- 5:39Speaker 1: But if you dwell in harp on the negative that's
- 5:42Speaker 1: happened to you, then that keeps you from seeing the
- 5:46Speaker 1: good in the incident, every bad thing that's happened to you,
- 5:49Speaker 1: that was a silver lining behind it. I know people
- 5:53Speaker 1: who were on drugs who finally, man just got sent
- 5:56Speaker 1: to prison for stealing because of the habit. I know
- 5:59Speaker 1: cats soul dope. Well, he went to prison. He told
- 6:03Speaker 1: me one time. He said, Steve, it's a man. This
- 6:05Speaker 1: is the best thing ever happened to me to save
- 6:08Speaker 1: my life. Now, most people would think, how in the
- 6:11Speaker 1: world it's going to prison helpful for you? The brother said,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it saved my life. First of all, it got me clean.
- 6:19Speaker 1: He said, I've been cleaned for five years from sitting
- 6:22Speaker 1: in here. That's for starters. I'm clean. I ain't still
- 6:26Speaker 1: in no more. I ain't putting myself in jeopard and
- 6:28Speaker 1: I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man, I
- 6:32Speaker 1: don't went to college. I didn't got a college degree
- 6:35Speaker 1: while I met him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:43Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:46Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had take for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:10Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:18Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:45Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me. It don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But man, but when you're in misery, when you was
- 8:16Speaker 1: in that, weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:23Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:30Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:34Speaker 1: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:40Speaker 1: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 1: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 1: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 1: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 1: a relationship. And you keep harping on the pass. You
- 9:02Speaker 1: don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude with
- 9:04Speaker 1: a show, and I hear it all the time. Let
- 9:07Speaker 1: it go go forward. It's over. You made it, He
- 9:12Speaker 1: bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it. Why
- 9:16Speaker 1: are you dwelling on it and making it the cross
- 9:20Speaker 1: around your neck when clearly he had removed it for you.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Now all you got to do is come on. So
- 9:26Speaker 1: if you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters, I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got to
- 9:33Speaker 1: get it right. All this repeat of fitting the business
- 9:36Speaker 1: that's for? Who is that for? How ignorant can you
- 9:39Speaker 1: be to keep giving your life back to the penal system?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Be free, man, walk the streets, do the right thing.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Ask God to help connect you. He could do anything.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You think he can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 9:55Speaker 1: it go. Let's move you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, this
- 10:02Speaker 1: is it to Steve Harvey Martin show is alive and
- 10:05Speaker 1: well open it up with the tudes, baby, Gratitude, attitude, altitude.
- 10:10Speaker 1: If you get them all correct, you stand for a
- 10:13Speaker 1: great life, for success. But none of this happens unless
- 10:16Speaker 1: you start with gratitude. I have to tell you that
- 10:19Speaker 1: you gotta be thankful, man. You gotta be thankful when
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's going right, and you have to be thankful when
- 10:24Speaker 1: it's not going your way. Gratitude is the key. Isaac
- 10:29Speaker 1: Career had a song out once says I want to
- 10:31Speaker 1: thank him in the middle of it. In them, I'm
- 10:35Speaker 1: a middle of it and I just had to do
- 10:37Speaker 1: that recently and it turned out really, really well for me.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So I invite you all to join in with us
- 10:42Speaker 1: this morning and open up your day with gratitude, which
- 10:45Speaker 1: will immediately affect your attitude, which is in direct correlation
- 10:49Speaker 1: with your altitude. Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Starry Starry, that dog on Shires, Joe right now, I'm
- 11:03Speaker 1: talking about that dog on calling for real out there
- 11:05Speaker 1: on the beaches are down. Then you're showing out and
- 11:09Speaker 1: all this hed mom for the stop Lord, that cify
- 11:13Speaker 1: thing girl right there right there, and then we break
- 11:16Speaker 1: all that off and here they is doing fools. Ladies,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Junior, better than on this kid's face. For
- 11:22Speaker 1: kids faith, better than on this junior. And that damn
- 11:25Speaker 1: legend that is nephew talking, junior. Yeah, you gotta do
- 11:30Speaker 1: this for me. Man. Yesterday you told me a story
- 11:33Speaker 1: had me hollig about blind dates up the work flight
- 11:38Speaker 1: date you had been set up. Well, I can't tell
- 11:44Speaker 1: you what city it is, because they probably listened. It
- 11:52Speaker 1: was it was, It was bad. Well, I had a
- 11:55Speaker 1: blind date that I got set up by another girl said,
- 12:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, Steve, she loved to meet you. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: thought else was great. And so I'm sitting at the
- 12:07Speaker 1: table waiting. She's late, of course, and I see her
- 12:11Speaker 1: walk past the window of the restaurant and I only
- 12:14Speaker 1: caught the back of her hair. Pretty hall nice. Everything
- 12:19Speaker 1: wasn't long, it was short. Came around the corner, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: as she approached the table the photo that I had
- 12:27Speaker 1: saw that made me want to meet he who was
- 12:30Speaker 1: knocked the photo walking towards Lord Jesus, what am I
- 12:40Speaker 1: gonna do? Because I can't sit here this entire time,
- 12:46Speaker 1: try to swallow this food and deal with what I'm
- 12:49Speaker 1: looking at. When I tell you, this person right here
- 12:54Speaker 1: on this blind dates the first time I actually felt
- 13:00Speaker 1: the need to be blind. You picked her, I picked her,
- 13:07Speaker 1: so to get out of the date, I stood up,
- 13:13Speaker 1: snapped the table leg off and tried to pretend like
- 13:18Speaker 1: that was my cane and tapped my way right on pass.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I snapped the chair leg off and try to turn
- 13:30Speaker 1: or white stick with a red tip on it. We
- 13:34Speaker 1: gotta go, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we'll run that Frank back with the nephew. Who's back
- 13:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, he
- 13:47Speaker 1: is back. The nephew is back from his big weekend
- 13:50Speaker 1: of giving. How was it? It was outstanding, absolutely outstanding.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Thank you. I'll let y'all know late all month sponsors
- 13:58Speaker 1: that helped out, and and and any actual day of
- 14:01Speaker 1: me going to to meet some veterans, which a very
- 14:03Speaker 1: touchy moment. They had a lot of testimony, so I'll
- 14:06Speaker 1: let y'all know about that. But it's time to be
- 14:08Speaker 1: back to stupid. I've been. I've been Thomas Miles for
- 14:11Speaker 1: a whole weekend and it just always for you. It
- 14:15Speaker 1: was just too much fun. I got to get back
- 14:18Speaker 1: to being stupid. Stop saying back to don't do that
- 14:25Speaker 1: all right, nephew. Just to make me feel a little
- 14:30Speaker 1: bit more better with it, This right here is booted taxes. Booted. Yes, yes,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I've been going too long. Booted taxes, cat dog, if
- 14:40Speaker 1: you would, let's tax that, yeah, you know. Come on, hello,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Kendrick doing. Man. My name is

- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm good. Hey listen, uh this right here, man, this
- 14:57Speaker 1: this I don't even know how to put this though,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but hey, listen, I'm calling you man because I got
- 15:03Speaker 1: some issues. I'm getting ready to find my Texas and
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'm going through all my expenses, all my receipts and
- 15:10Speaker 1: all this kind of stuff. You know. I just I can't.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I can't just let this go. Man. I didn't spend
- 15:17Speaker 1: like twenty thousand dollars on your wife laying ship. And
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out. Oh well, bro, wait a minute,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you asking me. You know I'm spend twenty thousand dollars
- 15:29Speaker 1: on chick I'm married too, Is that what you're telling me?
- 15:34Speaker 1: So all I'm trying to do, man, is I'm trying
- 15:38Speaker 1: to do it right off. That's what I'm trying to do.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to claim no, no, no, no, right off. Basically,
- 15:43Speaker 1: what you're telling me is you my wife. I ain't
- 15:46Speaker 1: say all that. I ain't saying. But what you're saying, bro,
- 15:50Speaker 1: all I'm saying is I'm trying to figure out is
- 15:52Speaker 1: that all right if I claim Melanie on my expenses? Man,
- 15:56Speaker 1: I'm over twenty grand on money I spent on Melanie
- 15:59Speaker 1: last year. First, let let me understand something right quick.
- 16:03Speaker 1: You asking me for permission to claim my wife? When
- 16:07Speaker 1: did you ask for permission my wife? Me with that? Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: let's do this here, drud. I ain't say I did that.
- 16:16Speaker 1: You saying that. I'm saying, I just want to claim
- 16:19Speaker 1: the taxes because I spent twenty k on it. That's
- 16:22Speaker 1: all I'm saying. Okay, let let's just let's do this. Bro.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Let's put Melody on the phone. Let's put mail on
- 16:27Speaker 1: the phone. Ain't we ain't got a brainmel in this?
- 16:31Speaker 1: We got rainmeling that. What I'm saying is we already
- 16:35Speaker 1: in it it? What you mean, we ain't got a
- 16:37Speaker 1: brain or anything? See any maybe you must be outside
- 16:39Speaker 1: your here. Man, All I'm saying is, do you have
- 16:43Speaker 1: a problem with me claiming Melody? You mother? Right? I do, Bro,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I got a mother problem having this whole mother conversation.
- 16:50Speaker 1: How first of all, how did you get my information?
- 16:52Speaker 1: How do you get my number? Bus? I asked round
- 16:55Speaker 1: for your number. I ain't want to call you to
- 16:57Speaker 1: me a week to call you. You know what I'm saying.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm just trying to dude, I spent twenty grand. You
- 17:02Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. When did you spend twenty grand?
- 17:05Speaker 1: That's just I want to know. I ain't spent twenty
- 17:07Speaker 1: grand on this mother, and I'm married to hey, so
- 17:10Speaker 1: what what the are you doing that you spent twenty
- 17:12Speaker 1: thousand dollars on my wife and then you want to
- 17:16Speaker 1: claim that. Be understanding that. Hey man, I ain't trying
- 17:20Speaker 1: to go and to all my receipts on everything I
- 17:23Speaker 1: did for Melanie. I'm not trying to do that. All
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is is just I just want
- 17:28Speaker 1: I want to I want to know if you. I
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't want to vote claiming it, because that's how you
- 17:31Speaker 1: get in trouble. Bro. You already and mother trouble is
- 17:36Speaker 1: the last mother time you ought to be worried about,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and you calling my mother phone telling me about some
- 17:41Speaker 1: that you got going home with my old lady. And
- 17:43Speaker 1: then you're telling me can I have your permission you? Okay?
- 17:48Speaker 1: So we gotta get some kind of resolution to this.
- 17:52Speaker 1: A good resolution is a good ass with what's you
- 17:54Speaker 1: mean a resolution that? That's the only mother resolution we're
- 17:57Speaker 1: gonna get. Brother, Ain't no other resolution. Ain't no other
- 18:00Speaker 1: resolution when we ain't your test to talk about. We
- 18:03Speaker 1: ain't got a mother trying to talk about. That's the
- 18:06Speaker 1: resolution I got back. I'll tell you whether, Bro, I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: texting Meal right now. I've been texting her since we've
- 18:11Speaker 1: been on this mother phone, okay, And I'm pray, what
- 18:14Speaker 1: did you texting her? Father? Don't you mean when am
- 18:17Speaker 1: I texting her? Foot? She is the subject matter? So
- 18:20Speaker 1: that's why the I'm testing her. But you better pray
- 18:22Speaker 1: to God. This is a book. I hope to God.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You y'all got y'all people stuff with me like this body.
- 18:29Speaker 1: This ain't gonna go do it, bro at all at all? Okay,
- 18:34Speaker 1: So I guess I can't claim them at this point.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Hell mother, Now, So what you want to do, though, Bro,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm already to tell you what I'm gonna do, and
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm waiting on meals was fun on this mother? See
- 18:46Speaker 1: that like she slowed in the mother she can't type fail.
- 18:49Speaker 1: But somebody gonna get me some mount to day. Okay?
- 18:53Speaker 1: But man, look here, Brian, I don't know who this
- 18:55Speaker 1: is on the other than the end of this zone.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I hope to guard this. Just come somebody of X
- 19:01Speaker 1: fives or something that I can't even fathom. You better
- 19:05Speaker 1: pray the God y'all playing with me? This is a
- 19:07Speaker 1: boot Okay, Okay? So can I go on gonna tell
- 19:12Speaker 1: you this your dog and then I'm gonna gonna get
- 19:14Speaker 1: out your way, man, because I know how it's gonna
- 19:16Speaker 1: go after this. Can I just gonna tell you something else?
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't know what the else you've been telling me,
- 19:20Speaker 1: But the only thing I can tell you, the only
- 19:24Speaker 1: thing I can tell you, Kendrick, is that this is
- 19:27Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey More than show your wife,
- 19:31Speaker 1: Melanie got me to pray punk call you dog by
- 19:35Speaker 1: y'all from ratting mother. You look at about how many
- 19:41Speaker 1: it was about God. Man't y'all ain't man y'all ain't
- 19:51Speaker 1: And I'm sitting up there eating cracklings and I don't
- 19:54Speaker 1: threw them the way because my fist french Y're already
- 20:01Speaker 1: you all right, man, I gotta make sure you all
- 20:03Speaker 1: right before we get off the phone. You're good, man.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I gotta go get me a drink back, Yeah, yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm all right, all right. Tell me this man. It's
- 20:16Speaker 1: twenty twenty. Baby, tell me this. What's the badest that,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I mean, the baddest radio show in the land? Man,
- 20:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey morn show with that grotten land. And if
- 20:25Speaker 1: you tell them, thank you so much. Feels good to
- 20:31Speaker 1: be back and be stupid. Thank you so much. All right,
- 20:33Speaker 1: coming up, it has asked the CLO with our chief
- 20:36Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building, ready for your
- 20:39Speaker 1: love questions. Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning
- 20:44Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: entertainment news. Britney Griner gets a court date in Russia. Finally,
- 20:52Speaker 1: Usher is giving out Porsches as birthday gifts, and Floridians
- 20:57Speaker 1: can't play loud music as they cruise around this summer.
- 21:01Speaker 1: We'll talk about all these stories at the top of
- 21:03Speaker 1: the hour. But right now it is time to ask
- 21:05Speaker 1: the clo Okay, Jenna and Lake Charles. Right, last month,
- 21:11Speaker 1: I got laid off, but I kept my company card.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I want to fill up my pantry and get some
- 21:16Speaker 1: toiletries on the card. What's the worst that can happen?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Should I use it? Yeah? What? I feel up my pantry,
- 21:25Speaker 1: I feel up my tank, I feel up my closet.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Will laid me off, I'll tell you what, dude, let
- 21:31Speaker 1: me tell you something. But she says she got laid off,
- 21:34Speaker 1: chances are you ain't coming back. Very few people get
- 21:40Speaker 1: laid off and bought back. Based on that stat Right there,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I'm feeling up the pantry, gas tape, the closet, in
- 21:50Speaker 1: living room, I'm feeling up everything. Technically, you're still an employee, right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: Jacky technical? And these are things now that you've laid
- 22:01Speaker 1: me off and set me around this house. I've now
- 22:04Speaker 1: discovered a lot of things I need that I think
- 22:07Speaker 1: the company was responsable, that I could better do my job.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I need a bigger TV so I could be better
- 22:12Speaker 1: formed as a union so when I come back to work,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I'll be more informed. As an employment I definitely got
- 22:19Speaker 1: to take care of my nutrition. So therefore I have
- 22:21Speaker 1: high be a help, and I got a meal plan
- 22:24Speaker 1: sent in from Sun Effect. Also, I've decided that I've
- 22:29Speaker 1: got to get in better physical shape so we can
- 22:31Speaker 1: avoid the next lay. Also, I have a brand new
- 22:34Speaker 1: gym membership and trainer. Yes, in case I'm now, I'm
- 22:43Speaker 1: in therapist. Since you laid me off, it has messed
- 22:47Speaker 1: my mental up, and so now I have a therapist. Okay,
- 22:53Speaker 1: so I can cope with the suddenness of my unemployment
- 22:57Speaker 1: or nearly. All right, Well, thank you got that, Jennam
- 23:03Speaker 1: Moving on to Misha in Chicago. Misha says, my brother
- 23:07Speaker 1: and my sister in law have split up, and she
- 23:09Speaker 1: asked to stay with me for the weekend. I let
- 23:11Speaker 1: her come to my house and she is a wreck.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Should I tell her he's a horror and to leave him,
- 23:18Speaker 1: or keep lying to her and saying it will get
- 23:21Speaker 1: better soon. Well, the key is to get her back
- 23:24Speaker 1: out of the house. So you got to do what
- 23:27Speaker 1: you got. Yeah, you know, don't don't hear about her.
- 23:30Speaker 1: She already at hurt. She's a wreck. Yeah, yeah, your
- 23:35Speaker 1: brother is a horror, she says, Yeah, that's what she said. Well,
- 23:39Speaker 1: your brother is a horror and the horrors have been
- 23:43Speaker 1: over here sleeping in the bed. Give so no, I
- 23:48Speaker 1: just want to mentally put that in your head. So
- 23:50Speaker 1: you probably don't want to sleep in that bed, and
- 23:53Speaker 1: they do. And my brother watched TV on this couch.
- 23:55Speaker 1: You probably don't want her dad and learned that only either,
- 23:58Speaker 1: So you know, get her out your house? Yeah, by
- 24:03Speaker 1: betraying her brother. Well that we didn't know her brother
- 24:08Speaker 1: was a whore and she told them, yeah who All right,
- 24:14Speaker 1: so get her out of the house. Okay, I'd be
- 24:16Speaker 1: offended if you called me who was pretty star? You
- 24:29Speaker 1: don't want the dictionary term, okay, I don't the technical
- 24:33Speaker 1: term A Right here we go start with no damn
- 24:36Speaker 1: you know. Moving on to Dominica and New Mexico. Domenica says,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I was getting a pedicure the other day and my
- 24:43Speaker 1: nail tech told me that my husband was in there
- 24:45Speaker 1: last week. He didn't mention that he got a pedicure,
- 24:49Speaker 1: and he usually just gets his nails done. It's a
- 24:52Speaker 1: customary for men to keep their feet done. I get
- 24:58Speaker 1: them the term customer the crewman. Yeah, because understand something up. Hey,
- 25:03Speaker 1: now he got somebody he got that seeing these people, Uh,
- 25:08Speaker 1: you know. That's that's what the fault. I don't get
- 25:11Speaker 1: anybody going to see summer to you fandos and stuff.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Then please, I can't have my feet hanging all as
- 25:19Speaker 1: all over the front of but I don't have that,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know, no you need Yeah, he getting pedicuted with
- 25:29Speaker 1: you day God, that's what and anyone used to didn't
- 25:34Speaker 1: tell you he's going down. Yeah, I don't know what
- 25:38Speaker 1: Pepico was up to get a cup you chicken. So
- 25:42Speaker 1: she's really asking the wrong question. Is the customary commend
- 25:45Speaker 1: to keep their feet done what she really wants to see?
- 25:48Speaker 1: It is customary for a lot of me. My wife
- 25:52Speaker 1: told me, coming to your heels, slicing up my legs
- 25:59Speaker 1: right and the linen. Yeah, you've got to get your
- 26:03Speaker 1: feet done. It's just part of grooming, all right. Last one, Steve,
- 26:08Speaker 1: This is from a glow in Charlotte Glow Rights. I
- 26:11Speaker 1: am a fifty year old single woman and I'm dating
- 26:14Speaker 1: a man I met online. Fifty eight fifty eight year
- 26:18Speaker 1: old single woman and I'm dating a man I met online.
- 26:21Speaker 1: We're meeting up at the hotel this weekend to be
- 26:25Speaker 1: together for the first time. I have not had sex

- 26:41Speaker 1: To have a second? Y'all want to meet up with him?
- 26:44Speaker 1: You see how tall he is. You don't want to
- 26:47Speaker 1: meet up with him to see if he'd been showing
- 26:49Speaker 1: you a head shot and he really three seventy been
- 26:52Speaker 1: loaded neck. You don't want to do none of that.
- 26:54Speaker 1: You don't want to see if you really like him
- 26:56Speaker 1: in person. You're just feeling to meet up and half
- 26:59Speaker 1: sex and you feel gear years. Don't tell about you
- 27:01Speaker 1: don't forgot how to do it? Just a bicycle girl,
- 27:04Speaker 1: that's what this is sex is about. Comes right back
- 27:08Speaker 1: to you. I don't know how it ain't nothing to remember.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Let's see what did he say to get her at
- 27:15Speaker 1: the because it's been four years? Is that it's been
- 27:18Speaker 1: four years and you fifty ain't going nobody else for
- 27:22Speaker 1: oh oh wow? Okay wait and he say that to
- 27:27Speaker 1: her that's where her head is. I'm fifty eight, I
- 27:31Speaker 1: ain't had nobody in this in a while, and who
- 27:33Speaker 1: else gonna want me? And I think I'm lucky that
- 27:35Speaker 1: I found this man. I'm fit to sleep with hill Fried.
- 27:41Speaker 1: You know, Lady Union just took all caution to the wind.
- 27:46Speaker 1: And you know, I just stop telling women about the
- 27:48Speaker 1: ninety day rule and all this hell because they're not listening,
- 27:51Speaker 1: because what's happening today. It ain't it's it's not they
- 27:54Speaker 1: ain't nobody listening. Ain't nobody. Li's gonna do what you
- 27:58Speaker 1: want to do. So most can remember clipping four years.
- 28:02Speaker 1: This ain't gonna add long. It's gonna be real. This this,
- 28:08Speaker 1: this just sounds crazy to me. So she wants to
- 28:10Speaker 1: know she she be honest with him and tell him
- 28:12Speaker 1: that she may what what And it's been four years?
- 28:17Speaker 1: He gonna say that side, I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm don't let that bother you. Look, I'm gonna ta Look,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna take my time. It's been four years for

- 28:44Speaker 1: all right, We're moving on. Thank you. C Hello. Coming
- 28:46Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 28:48Speaker 1: entertainment news for you right after this, you're listening Steve
- 28:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Two time Olympic gold medalists and w
- 28:58Speaker 1: NBA player Brittany Grind was in a Russian court on
- 29:01Speaker 1: Monday for a hearing in her drug case, and she
- 29:04Speaker 1: appeared to be in good shape, although she was escorted
- 29:08Speaker 1: by multiple security guards and had shackles on her wrist.
- 29:12Speaker 1: A July first trial date was set for Grinder, finally,
- 29:16Speaker 1: after she's been detained for nearly five months for allegedly
- 29:19Speaker 1: having hasheesh oil in her luggage. We are all looking
- 29:23Speaker 1: forward to her July for July first court date, and
- 29:26Speaker 1: we pray that her charges are dropped and she's allowed
- 29:29Speaker 1: to return home to her wife and her teammates. And
- 29:33Speaker 1: we definitely are wow, she is a prisoner of war. Yes,
- 29:39Speaker 1: is this this is too much? This is over keel, Yes,
- 29:46Speaker 1: it is that. We know that. You know, it wasn't
- 29:51Speaker 1: like she was distributing anything. But I want to say
- 29:54Speaker 1: to everybody out that you have to be careful when
- 29:57Speaker 1: traveling abroad. You've got to take extra precaution, y'all because
- 30:03Speaker 1: this this, let me tell you something, This ain't the
- 30:05Speaker 1: only place that's in't play like that now. Yeah, it's
- 30:09Speaker 1: some places you can't show up with no hemp or
- 30:11Speaker 1: nothing else or old lotion. Don't be ain't nothing. You
- 30:16Speaker 1: have to be careful. This is summertime, y'all are going
- 30:19Speaker 1: to be going places. Be very aware of what. This
- 30:23Speaker 1: ain't the time and and and this is not what
- 30:27Speaker 1: Brittany Grinder did. This is not the time to go
- 30:29Speaker 1: somewhere to try to get high. This ain't the time
- 30:32Speaker 1: for that. This is a different world. We're living in
- 30:35Speaker 1: different world. You're right, that horrible, Yeah, it really is.
- 30:40Speaker 1: It's horrible. Hypocrisy in this world is alive and way
- 30:47Speaker 1: off the hypocrisy. We're doing it here in the United States,
- 30:51Speaker 1: and they're doing it everywhere. Russia got a lot of nerves,
- 30:55Speaker 1: the audacity, the stuff that they're doing. David. They tied
- 31:01Speaker 1: nation and field innocent people and all of a sudden,
- 31:07Speaker 1: you over there was some cream in your bag. Now
- 31:09Speaker 1: you were prison Yeah do you know that now that
- 31:12Speaker 1: ain't got Russian soldiers on trial for war crimes. I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 1: when you when you break the Geneva Convention, when you
- 31:18Speaker 1: go against war crimes. Man, they're talking about I was
- 31:22Speaker 1: reading too. They want to They have suggested maybe to
- 31:25Speaker 1: swap her for a Russian Yeah, that's that's the arm jailer. Yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 1: He was a real criminal his ass over there, Yeah
- 31:37Speaker 1: yeah and sent her home. Yeah. I was so sad
- 31:42Speaker 1: to see her look like that. Yeah. It was horrible.
- 31:45Speaker 1: It was horrible. Yeah, it was yeah. All right, um wow,
- 31:49Speaker 1: we're gonna move along to much happier news. Um Usher
- 31:55Speaker 1: uh gave him the best birthday gift ever to his
- 31:59Speaker 1: lifelong men tour and music mogul La Reid. La turned
- 32:03Speaker 1: sixty six recently and he had a birthday party. So
- 32:06Speaker 1: Usher gifted La with a brand new Porsche nine to
- 32:09Speaker 1: eleven Carrera Cabriol and their significance in this particular vehicle.
- 32:15Speaker 1: It was the same model of Porsche that La Reid
- 32:17Speaker 1: bought us shirt back in nineteen ninety seven when Usher
- 32:21Speaker 1: released his classic song You Make Me Wanna Remember he
- 32:24Speaker 1: did it on the Face records. Uh huh, you make
- 32:28Speaker 1: Me Wanna mu la sixty six birthday party or the
- 32:32Speaker 1: bel Air Backyard Barbecue is what they called. It was
- 32:35Speaker 1: a star studded with close to one hundred of his

- 33:05Speaker 1: for your birthday. Come on your boss. Yeah, in all
- 33:10Speaker 1: his generos, Man, I'm gonna fill up your gas day
- 33:20Speaker 1: a lot though us as much as a boy. Look
- 33:24Speaker 1: at God, boy, you didn't know how you was gonna
- 33:28Speaker 1: do it. He made a way out of no way.
- 33:35Speaker 1: You've been driving Paris that gas station, wishing Lord. I
- 33:40Speaker 1: wish I could feel this thing up, but I can't.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Just in the nicker time. Oh God, hurt your cry? Amen,
- 33:51Speaker 1: he see me, come on past to bless you. He say,
- 33:59Speaker 1: j ain't gonna keep driving by this station, Julie, ain't
- 34:04Speaker 1: gonna he were over, didn't wishing he had a food tape.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I working mystered ways, so I sha bring up a
- 34:16Speaker 1: store about the La reader her post. I knew that
- 34:21Speaker 1: the post was too much. I knew that that post
- 34:25Speaker 1: that oh USh your ball to La was over your
- 34:32Speaker 1: pay grade. I didn't want you to have to try
- 34:36Speaker 1: to explain this post to nobody. I didn't want you
- 34:40Speaker 1: to have to be driving down the streets. I'm Atlanta
- 34:43Speaker 1: running the vision getting your ass carjack. I from the
- 34:47Speaker 1: goodness of my let me save this boy from all
- 34:51Speaker 1: of that. You don't need to be a hostage because
- 34:54Speaker 1: you might have a crisis in the middle of a
- 34:57Speaker 1: hostage situation. If we wanted to get Joe Siga into
- 35:01Speaker 1: the hospital, so I say, fill up his gas, take
- 35:07Speaker 1: make him hold again? Regular super let it pass it?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Which one? Regular? Oh, we ain't doing super. That's too high.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Were bringing regularly? Go on a sport a little bit,
- 35:23Speaker 1: but you be fun, all right? Coming up at twenty
- 35:27Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna talk to the drb
- 35:29Speaker 1: CEO A d Dolphin. It's calling to check on Steve's
- 35:32Speaker 1: progress as he does the d Erb's full body cleanse
- 35:35Speaker 1: right after the Ghost Steve, you're listening to Steve Morning Show,
- 35:41Speaker 1: all right, Steve CEO and creator all that of d
- 35:45Speaker 1: Herb's full body cleanses. Here, the one and only a
- 35:48Speaker 1: d Dolphin. He's calling in to check on you, Steve.
- 35:51Speaker 1: It's actually been nine nine days now. Okay, yeah, there's
- 35:57Speaker 1: a day night it's like doing Okay, stop stalling, stop
- 36:00Speaker 1: stop anybody starting. You'd be quiet. Surely A d Dolphin
- 36:03Speaker 1: what's going on? Man? Hey, how are you guys doing
- 36:06Speaker 1: this morning? Hey? Man, I'm on day nine of the
- 36:09Speaker 1: d Earth Cleans. That's what I'm talking about. DS. I
- 36:13Speaker 1: gotta tell y'all something. You know, it's not as bad
- 36:16Speaker 1: as you think it is. It's gonna take a little
- 36:19Speaker 1: bit of adjusting because I can eat as many vegetables, fruits, nuts,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and seeds as I like, as long as it's raw.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And you know, it takes an adjustment. Around day three
- 36:32Speaker 1: you need to, you know, wrap your mind around what's
- 36:35Speaker 1: really going on because you're gonna pass by a lot
- 36:37Speaker 1: of cooked food, and damn everything is cooked everywhere you go.
- 36:42Speaker 1: So you got to make the adjustment. But I think
- 36:44Speaker 1: after day three, man, I think you can really understand
- 36:46Speaker 1: what's going on. I've had success. Anything you want to
- 36:49Speaker 1: ask me a d But you know what, if you're
- 36:52Speaker 1: exact me right around day three, day four, it's like
- 36:57Speaker 1: you get to have that that that period and it
- 37:00Speaker 1: becomes a lot easier. It's a lot easier. You made
- 37:04Speaker 1: the adjustment. My only question for you, because I know
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know that scale is sometimes important for people. It
- 37:10Speaker 1: was that a goal of yours to lose weight, and
- 37:13Speaker 1: if it was how much weight have you lost thus far? Well,
- 37:16Speaker 1: you know I need to lose weight, I really really do.
- 37:20Speaker 1: But I'm in. I'm in. I'm in decent shape. And
- 37:24Speaker 1: the one thing, I'm not obese, and because I do
- 37:27Speaker 1: eat well a lot of times, I don't have as
- 37:32Speaker 1: much impacted waste as an obese person would have. So
- 37:38Speaker 1: I think what I've done. I've on it nine days.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I've lost eight pounds in nine days. I think I've
- 37:49Speaker 1: plateaued in terms of the weight loss for the impact
- 37:52Speaker 1: and waste and the rest of it is just me
- 37:55Speaker 1: gutting it out. I'll be on it until this Friday,
- 37:57Speaker 1: till I leave the country, and I'll keep y'all posted.
- 38:00Speaker 1: But I highly recommend folks, if you want to do
- 38:03Speaker 1: something get yourself in nice shape for the summer, that
- 38:06Speaker 1: d Herb's Full Body Cleans is the way to go.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I highly recommend it. I'm on it now and I
- 38:12Speaker 1: feel great though. My energy level is up. That's the
- 38:14Speaker 1: thing I want to pray. My energy level is up
- 38:16Speaker 1: and I feel myself the inflammation in my body is reduced.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I just feel great. A d Dolphin, Thank you man,
- 38:23Speaker 1: Thank you boy called to check in on you. Thank
- 38:26Speaker 1: you all right, A d I cheated one time. I
- 38:30Speaker 1: had from my hot soup. I sup one time. Thank
- 38:36Speaker 1: you for checking in. A great job. Steve. Coming up,
- 38:43Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about fashion King Steve Harvey right after this.
- 38:47Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right. So the nephew was back.
- 38:54Speaker 1: He was away for a few days for his big
- 38:57Speaker 1: weekend of giving, giving back. Nephew, how was it welcome

- 39:19Speaker 1: don't know. Philip Ashley, it was a chocolate tear out
- 39:21Speaker 1: of out of Tennessee supported us as well. Cedric Richmond,
- 39:26Speaker 1: y'all know Cedric rismon R came out and played you
- 39:30Speaker 1: know ni, Oh my god, in this whole town. So U,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I gotta tell you this. So that's the golf tournament.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Oh my god. The hardest part for me. As they said, okay, Tommy,
- 39:40Speaker 1: we want you to start this thing off. We're gonna
- 39:43Speaker 1: have all the golfers come to the first hole and
- 39:45Speaker 1: then you and Cedric gonna hit first. And I was like,
- 39:48Speaker 1: oh my god, no, I don't ever I don't need
- 39:52Speaker 1: people watching me. No, don't ever do that. She said,
- 39:58Speaker 1: go ahead and go first. He say, no, this your stuff,
- 40:00Speaker 1: you go first. I oh, so I at least put
- 40:05Speaker 1: it one hundred and seventy not It wasn't far, but
- 40:09Speaker 1: it was straight, and that's all I wanted. I say,
- 40:11Speaker 1: all right, it's straight. It ain't really that far, but
- 40:14Speaker 1: that's all right. At least I didn't look too but
- 40:16Speaker 1: at least I didn't hook it to the left like
- 40:17Speaker 1: I normally do. Who I'm talking about, you fire the
- 40:20Speaker 1: thing straight off in your team. But big ups everybody
- 40:27Speaker 1: to the veterans, that's the most important part of the weekend, man.

- 42:36Speaker 1: Ellie Coromof. There's really nothing I set out to do. Man,
- 42:41Speaker 1: this is just like another another just piece of grace.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I don't you know. I never I mean, I've always
- 42:48Speaker 1: enjoyed dressing up. I always thought I could dress up,
- 42:51Speaker 1: but probably for the first time getting this widespread recognition
- 42:57Speaker 1: for this because highed Ellie Caromo and Ellie has made
- 43:02Speaker 1: a world of difference in that Ellie Joe style changed.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Dog whenn't you stop just turn hard after I'm married, Margie.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Just the real start, the real turn made about eight
- 43:15Speaker 1: years ago. But then a big change happened about three
- 43:18Speaker 1: and a half years ago. Nobody knew it because we
- 43:21Speaker 1: wasn't posting pictures, and then we went to Paris last
- 43:23Speaker 1: year we posted a picture for the first time and
- 43:27Speaker 1: then it took off from there. All right, Lou, I'm

- 47:40Speaker 1: understand that we've made a mistake, but I understand. I
- 47:42Speaker 1: understood you say that you didn't like the services. So
- 47:46Speaker 1: wouldn't it be even right for you to actually go
- 47:49Speaker 1: ahead and send the invoice in along with the check
- 47:51Speaker 1: since you did like the services? Well, ever, didn't listening
- 47:54Speaker 1: like YO retarded, because then I just tell you you
- 47:58Speaker 1: cut the room, y'rt cut the right yard and get
- 48:02Speaker 1: you money. You ain't got nothing but practice here. You're done.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I understand that we cut the wrong yard, sir. I
- 48:09Speaker 1: understand that, but you got the services, and you like
- 48:12Speaker 1: the services. I don't want to have to come out
- 48:14Speaker 1: there and get the money from you. We'll come on.

- 53:24Speaker 1: is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Nephew, Welcome back again. Subject
- 53:29Speaker 1: I don't like to share. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a
- 53:32Speaker 1: twenty nine year old female and I'm an only child
- 53:36Speaker 1: and a daddy's girl. I met a man that is
- 53:38Speaker 1: also an only child, and we hit it off instantly.
- 53:42Speaker 1: He was raised by a single mom and they are
- 53:44Speaker 1: the best of friends. The way he treats her let
- 53:47Speaker 1: me know that he is a good man. He has
- 53:50Speaker 1: a lot of charteristic characteristics of my father, and even
- 53:54Speaker 1: though he is five years younger, he's got a great
- 53:57Speaker 1: career and his own home. Love everything about him, But
- 54:02Speaker 1: I do have one pet, peeves he's way too comfortable
- 54:06Speaker 1: too soon with me. We started being intimate two months
- 54:10Speaker 1: after we met. He assumed it was fine to stay
- 54:13Speaker 1: overnight with me. The first time we had sex. I
- 54:16Speaker 1: let him stay because I wanted seconds. He slept in
- 54:20Speaker 1: a pair of my joggers that were lying on a
- 54:23Speaker 1: chair in my room. He's tall and thin, so they fit,
- 54:26Speaker 1: but he didn't even ask first. He did not have
- 54:30Speaker 1: on underwear with my pants, and that grossed me out.
- 54:33Speaker 1: When he left, I threw them away. From then on,
- 54:36Speaker 1: he has made himself at home at my house, and
- 54:39Speaker 1: he's even left a pair of pajama bottoms so he
- 54:42Speaker 1: can be comfortable when he is visiting. When we're eating,
- 54:45Speaker 1: he loves to sample my food without asking, and he
- 54:49Speaker 1: digs into my plate with his nasty pork. He says
- 54:52Speaker 1: he is a sharer, and I have told him that
- 54:55Speaker 1: I am not. I explained to him that it's only
- 54:58Speaker 1: only child thing, and he is dead set on changing me.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I drink wine and he usually drinks hard liquor. Now,
- 55:06Speaker 1: if he buys me a bottle of wine, he drinks
- 55:09Speaker 1: half of it because he thinks it's cute if we
- 55:11Speaker 1: drink the same thing. He's overstepping all of my boundaries
- 55:15Speaker 1: when it comes to my personal things and my personal space.
- 55:19Speaker 1: The final straw was when he used my bath towel
- 55:22Speaker 1: right after I dry it off with it. Should I
- 55:24Speaker 1: learn to accept this or tell him nicely to knock
- 55:27Speaker 1: it off? I mean, you know you don't have to
- 55:30Speaker 1: learn to accept anything if you don't want to accept it.
- 55:33Speaker 1: But you were accepting it. I mean initially you didn't
- 55:37Speaker 1: say anything. You talk about it. He's comfortable too soon.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I mean you guys were intimate two months after you met.
- 55:44Speaker 1: He wanted to stay over. You didn't say anything. Then
- 55:47Speaker 1: you said that was fine because you wanted seconds. Now
- 55:51Speaker 1: you're complaining, saying he's way too comfortable. You guys haven't
- 55:55Speaker 1: known each other that long. That one pet peeve you have,
- 55:58Speaker 1: that's a big one. But you've got to tell him
- 56:00Speaker 1: not us. You've told him that you're not a sharer
- 56:04Speaker 1: after he said he was, but he ignored you. He's
- 56:07Speaker 1: trying to change you, So you got to make him
- 56:09Speaker 1: understand that doesn't have to be a fight or anything
- 56:11Speaker 1: like that. You can do it nicely. You just gotta
- 56:13Speaker 1: let him know that you are serious about your boundaries,
- 56:16Speaker 1: if you truly are or are you making up these
- 56:19Speaker 1: rules as you go along. The things that he does
- 56:22Speaker 1: now after you've slept with him are starting to gross
- 56:25Speaker 1: you out. I mean, I agree with you. Everyone needs privacy,
- 56:28Speaker 1: everyone needs some space, But what's wrong with sitting him
- 56:31Speaker 1: down and telling him, you know, in an adult way,
- 56:34Speaker 1: how you feel. He doesn't sound like he's gonna listen again.
- 56:38Speaker 1: He said, you said, he's gonna try to change you.
- 56:41Speaker 1: But he needs to know that you're serious now, you know,
- 56:43Speaker 1: if you're taking this relationship any further. These are simple things,
- 56:47Speaker 1: I mean, things that he really should have been learned
- 56:50Speaker 1: at home about boundaries, and since he didn't just let
- 56:53Speaker 1: him know, I mean, you could be nice. This is
- 56:56Speaker 1: even crazier because he said he has his own house,
- 56:59Speaker 1: So why isn't he had his own house? Have you
- 57:01Speaker 1: been to his own house? Have you seen his own house?
- 57:04Speaker 1: Maybe that's the reason he's staying with you. Maybe his
- 57:07Speaker 1: house is a mess. I mean boundaries are important. Yeah,
- 57:10Speaker 1: I don't think this is anything to fight about or
- 57:13Speaker 1: anything like that. I just think you need to get
- 57:15Speaker 1: it straight with him and let him know how you
- 57:17Speaker 1: really really feel. Steve, I think this relationship needs to end.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I don't think this woman needs to be in a
- 57:25Speaker 1: damn relationship. I see a totally different letter here. I
- 57:30Speaker 1: don't like to share. Well, that's interesting, because ain't that
- 57:34Speaker 1: all the relationship is built around sharing? It's it's you
- 57:39Speaker 1: can't have relationship if you don't like to share, because
- 57:43Speaker 1: the most important thing you're gonna be shying sharing two
- 57:46Speaker 1: most important things you're gonna be sharing is time and space.
- 57:51Speaker 1: And that means somebody else is in your time and
- 57:53Speaker 1: somebody else is in your space. And if you don't
- 57:56Speaker 1: like to share, you got a problem. But I knew
- 57:59Speaker 1: this letter was gonna be a problem by the way
- 58:00Speaker 1: it started. I'm a twenty nine year old female, I'm
- 58:04Speaker 1: an only child, and a daddy's girl. I met a
- 58:08Speaker 1: man that is also an only child, and we hit
- 58:12Speaker 1: it off instantly. Well, ain't this about peaches and cream? Right?
- 58:16Speaker 1: If this ain't about the lote, dude, if this ain't
- 58:19Speaker 1: about the chicken, meat the rooster? Right here, Lord her Mercy,
- 58:22Speaker 1: what a perfect match? Two only children have joined for
- 58:25Speaker 1: us it Well, the problem is one of these children
- 58:29Speaker 1: don't get it. And the one that don't get it,
- 58:31Speaker 1: this lady that wrote the letter, he was raised by
- 58:34Speaker 1: a single mom and they are the best of friends.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Oh alone. Oh I know what that is right there.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I know you're thinking mama's boy. It could be, but
- 58:45Speaker 1: that don't show up in the letter, but it shows
- 58:47Speaker 1: up on some other stuff. The way he treats her
- 58:50Speaker 1: lets me know that he's a good man. Okay, he's
- 58:54Speaker 1: got a lot of characteristics, got my father, and even
- 58:56Speaker 1: though he's five years younger, he's got a great career.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Now you twenty nine, he twenty four. Lady, This dude
- 59:07Speaker 1: ain't all there right now? But then I got news
- 59:09Speaker 1: for you. You ain't even I love everything about him,
- 59:13Speaker 1: but I do have one pet, peeve, he's way too
- 59:15Speaker 1: comfortable too soon with me. We started being intimate. Two
- 59:18Speaker 1: months after we met, he assumed it was fine to
- 59:20Speaker 1: stay overnight with me the first time we had sex.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I let him stay because I wanted seconds. Okay, well, okay,
- 59:27Speaker 1: what's problem? He stayed over you wanted to Okay? Cool.
- 59:31Speaker 1: When I come back, I'm gonna tell you what's wrong
- 59:33Speaker 1: with her? All right, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 59:37Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters. Subject is I don't like to share.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I don't. We'll be back part two right after this.
- 59:48Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's
- 59:53Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is I don't like
- 59:57Speaker 1: to share. Well, I'm gonna be a little bit more
- 59:59Speaker 1: direct this for the letter. So let me start the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: letter by saying I don't like to share. Well, and
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I understand why. So let's begin this letter like this.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: This is a twenty nine year old female who is
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: an only child and a daddy's girl. Right there, you're
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: dealing with the person where it's about me. It's about me.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I'm an only child, It's about me. Watch how spoiled
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: and selfish this letter really turns out to be the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: man you met. Its five years younger. He's twenty four.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: He was raised by a single mom. Day the best
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: of friends. You can tell he's a good man by
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the way he treats his mother. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: He got a great career in his own home, twenty four,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: with his own home. That's a good hustle, ain't there.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I love everything about him, but I do have one
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: peebe's too comfortable, too soon with me? Now you all
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: started being inter it two months after we met, he
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: assumed it was fine to stay overnight with me the
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: first time we had seconds. Okay, I let him stay
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: because I wanted seconds. I let him stay because I
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: wanted seconds, not the fact that he was caught up
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: sprung and he wanted to stay. You want a seconds
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and you let him stay. He slept in the pair
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: of my joggers that were lying on a chair. This
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: where to let her get a little shaken for him.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: He slept in the pair of my joggers that was
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: laying on a chair in my room. He's tall and thin,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: so they fit. I'm glad you cleared that up right there, Gaun.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I don't know I ain't dated w wear hu sweatpaint. No,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: either you dating a little bit the ass man or
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you a grid big ass girl who wanted the two.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: But y'all an here wearing each other plants. Now, I
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: don't know how that worked. I ain't saying what you are,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: but you know you need to pull up a little bit.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But he didn't even ask first, He just put them on.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: He did not have on underwear with my pants, so
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: that grossed me out. Wait a minute, didn't you just
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: sleep with him? Wait a minute, didn't y'all just have sex?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Didn't y'all climb on each other? Now you're mad because
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he got some pans on with no draws. I don't
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: understand how selfish and self senate are you. He didn't
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: have on the underwear in that grosserymut When he left,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I threw him away. Okay, from then on, he has
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: made himself at home in my house, and he's even
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: left a pair of pajama bottoms there so he can
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: be comfortable when he's visited where you threw weighted jogs.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: The man needs something, damn Lias. He bought his own pajamas.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: You then threw the damn joggers he thought he's wearing him.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Last time, he'd have been through all the draws and
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: can't find him nowhere. You din threw them away. When
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: we're eating, he loves to sample my food without asking,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: and he digs into my plate with his nasty fork,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: hitting nasty for what. Wasn't y'all kissing? Yes, see that
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: nasty fark that because it's been in his mouth. You
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: ain't been in his mouth. How did y'all get to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the sex part? Were no kissing? You ain't getting anyone,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: no warm up? Okay? He says he's a sharer, and
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I have told them I am not. That's because you
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: are only child and your dad's because you're just a selfish,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: self cinnate girl. Y'all don't think you understand how relationship work.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I've explained to him that it's an only child thing,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and he's dead set on changes. I drink wine and
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he usually drinks hard. Look now, if he buys me
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: a bottle of wine, he drinks half of it because
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: he thinks it's cute that we drink the same thing.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Wait a minute, the man buy a battle of wine.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: You want that all to yourself too, damn. So he
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: can't buy a wall of wine and see with his
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: girl half a glass at wine. You don't share that,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: even because he thinks it's cute if we drink the
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: same thing. He's overstepping all of my boundary. Lady, you
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: really don't need any because your way at a highway
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: when it comes to my personal things. That my personal's face.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I just told you top of the letter to two
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: things in the relationship that you share the most of
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: its time and space. Now, if you don't want the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: man over there and you don't want to be in
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a relationship, just use him for your little sex toy
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: five years young. He's your little boy toy and send
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: him a hood. But don't have a man thinking he
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: in a relationship with you that y'all should drank wine
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: together and stuff. Really, you want all the wine to himself.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: The final strow was when he used my bathtile after
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I dried off with Should I learn to acceptance or
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: tell him nicely to knock it off? Here's my answer
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: to this letter. Y'all need to break up. You don't
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: like sharing, You're just hopeless. She don't like sharing nothing.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: She don't want to share nothing. She shared her body
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and These are the examples that she's told about. These
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: are the extreme examples. Hey, it's some she don't like sharing.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: She told her man she's not a sharing person. How
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: do you have a relationship and you're not a sharer?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You got to get past this. And now she's comfortable
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: to a degree. I'm comfortable to sleep with you. I'm
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: comfortable to share my body with you. But I don't
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: want you wearing my jog in pains. I don't want
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: you to be eating off with your nasty for I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: get my pants, you know what I mean? You can't
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you get in my pants, but you can't wear my paints.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That don't make no damn sense. Yeah. I can stick
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: my tongue in your mouth. You can stick your tongue
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: in my mouth, but you can't stick your fork in
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: my plate. That don't make no damn sense. All right,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: all right, thank you. She's selfish. I don't get it.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: You know, the dude, he's twenty four, you're a kid.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I think it's a boundary issue, all right. Please leave

- 1:20:10Speaker 1: photographers to getting frustrated with me. It's togragy week. You
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: want to get some most shots, that's it. Yeah, I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: feel as though that shit. Oh, y'all may be frustrated
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: when you you've always been like that, even when we
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: do our photo shoots. You're like that because look man,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: and look when I do photo shoots with my TV show,

- 1:20:42Speaker 1: photo shoots, man, y'all get these locations figured out. I'm
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: gonna come out here. Boom. Let's do this here and
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: then boom. Take these pictures. Not the way. It's different
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: now because you can look on the computer at each picture,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: and once I see them, go, my god, that's a
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: great shot. I started taking my clothes off. Head, it's
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: a wrap. Do you look at that camera? Oh my god?
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: These are so good cool because I ain't a mo better.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: If you catch a good picture of me, you better
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: snap it. Dog. I think the glass off and you
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: see what I'm really thinking me any glasses? You ain't
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: like none of these photos. So you know photo shoots
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: is not what I enjoy. So I'm just k yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: all right, tell me you've been out. You have anything
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: for your uncle? Any questions? Mm hmm? You think? Man?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: No got all things. Y'all don't want to hear we do.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: That's why I asked, Well let him think about it. Yeah,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: go ahead. When'd you know unc like far ast dressing
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: like all the folctions are. But when you don't talk
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: like fold all the money and everything. When did you
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: know you were flying? When you're putting the stuff together?
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Did it really matter what anybody else thought? Because it's
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: when I was about nine years old. I had to
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: figure out ask some suspenders I cared about deep had
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: some red suspenders and that was my accent piece to
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: all my outfits at the church. Give red suspenders with
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: the clips. You couldn't tell me nothing strong hair. Yeah, sure,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I've been dressing up my whole life. We're ad dressed up.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Go church. You couldn't win no jeans that you're putting
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: short in town and go church. My mom's Snday school teacher.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: I've been dressing up my whole life, always been flying.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Next question, were no doubt about it? I knew, I
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: knew I was flyer. You couldn't tell me money? Where
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: can I ask, ready to little for some more damn money?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Where can I ask them for as soon as you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: got a sooner No, no, as soon as you got
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: the guts to walking in and ask for it, I'll
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: tell you what they're not gonna do. They're not gonna
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: give you more money if you don't ask. I've never
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: had anybody coming offered me more money, would you like?
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Would you like a raid? Got to go as never
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: heard that? Why would they give you more money? Dog?
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: This Hollywood not giving you nothing. You got to go
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: in this time. You've been in seven years? Man, how
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: many seasons is this? I'm working on eight right now.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: There ain't no one to him. I'm waiting there years
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: ask for no more money. You're gonna tell me now,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: but you're gonna fit to hear him three phone contract
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: is five. You can't sign no more than five. Then
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: when we signed this new deal, we got up this money.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I don't want to hear this five percent that's cost
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: of living raised. I don't want to hear that. That
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: ain't no way. So what's your hesitation, nephew, what's your
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: hesitation about asking? Go ahead and ask? Yeah, you know
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you always hesitate because I've never been in this position before.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: You know this is new to me, so you never know.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I don't anybody though any industry. As to the numbers,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you have the numbers. If the show wasn't working, it
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: ain't on seven years. It's on for seven years for
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: a reason, because we love it. Job performance, that's what
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: you're saying your job, this job performance, your lady, if
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: you wouldn't like you to been off TV, you can't
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: stay on TV seven years and not be liked. But
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you're crazy. Ain't got a Q rating on TV and
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: everything they got, they got the analytics. Man, they know,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: So what should he do? Give him the scenario? How
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: should he how should he approach it? And that's really simple.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: It's get your representation and say, hey, listen to this
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: is it? Oh, we we think that it's time for
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: a raidings and we see no reason why he shouldn't
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: be allowed to be given a raise. You have a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: great show, is doing well in the ratings. That's why
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: it keeps on being on, and we want a substantial raise.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: And then you put your ass out there and ask
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: for more than you know they're gonna pay you. Right,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that's the key right there. I did the same thing
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: at the at the paint company seven seventy five an hour.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I wouldn't ask fight. I didn't get it, but I did.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: They knew. Yeah, I'm not gonna walk in here and
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: ask nobody for no damn quart I'm not. Hey, listen
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: to me, y'all. We're gonna close out with that one
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: right here. Let me tell y'all something. If you go
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: ask for a raive, ask for a raise, not a quarter.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Talk to God today, y'all. He would love to hear
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: from you. Peace for all. Steve Every Contests no purchase necessary,
