- 1:55Speaker 3: Come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 5: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Y're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 5: One and only Steve Harley got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 5: was talking with my wife and she said something her
- 2:14Speaker 5: father always used to tell her, just because you can
- 2:18Speaker 5: do something don't mean you should do it. I can't
- 2:20Speaker 5: tell you how many times I've had to learn that
- 2:23Speaker 5: in my life. You know, just because you can do
- 2:25Speaker 5: something does not necessarily mean you should do it. I
- 2:30Speaker 5: could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean I
- 2:34Speaker 5: should do it. I could go here and set the
- 2:37Speaker 5: record straight a lot of times, but it don't mean
- 2:40Speaker 5: I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in
- 2:44Speaker 5: that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship with
- 2:50Speaker 5: my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me to
- 2:54Speaker 5: learn even more how to stay still on a lot
- 2:57Speaker 5: of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the hard way.
- 3:01Speaker 5: I do want you to understand that that sometimes it's
- 3:04Speaker 5: better to be still. Sometimes it's better to just let
- 3:07Speaker 5: God handle the situation now. And I know it's hard
- 3:09Speaker 5: to say because we think as people, but if I
- 3:13Speaker 5: do this, I would feel better.
- 3:16Speaker 2: If I do this now, they'll feel how I feel. See.
- 3:20Speaker 5: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:22Speaker 5: in my life. Sometimes you gotta like old people used
- 3:26Speaker 5: to say, you gotta let go and let God. I'm
- 3:29Speaker 5: gonna tell you something, man, I learned a lot from
- 3:30Speaker 5: my mother being a Sunday school teacher. But you know,
- 3:33Speaker 5: at the same time, when she was when I was young,
- 3:35Speaker 5: I thought she was just an old person just talking
- 3:37Speaker 5: to me. I didn't get it. You know how your
- 3:39Speaker 5: parents used to talk to you and you didn't get it,
- 3:42Speaker 5: and they used to always say, well, wait till you
- 3:44Speaker 5: have your own kids, you'll get it then, and sure
- 3:46Speaker 5: enough you got it then.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Well I'm the same way. I'm no different. You know.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I don't have no different life than you.
- 3:51Speaker 6: You.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I don't have no different upbringing in you.
- 3:53Speaker 5: I don't have no different ways that I can live
- 3:55Speaker 5: and you can't you know I got to live by
- 3:58Speaker 5: the same laws of the land that you got to
- 4:00Speaker 5: live by. I gotta obey the principles of success. If
- 4:02Speaker 5: I want to be successful, I gotta bam. And you know,
- 4:05Speaker 5: if I want to go to heaven, I gotta do
- 4:07Speaker 5: what God tell me to do as many times as
- 4:09Speaker 5: I can. Now, you ain't gonna get it all right,
- 4:11Speaker 5: But he understand that, and I just get on with
- 4:14Speaker 5: the best I can. But so many times, man, we
- 4:17Speaker 5: get stuck right there, man, worrying about you know, how
- 4:22Speaker 5: it's gonna come across and what you know, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 5: kind of going around here because I'm trying to find
- 4:28Speaker 5: a way to tell you this that you won't get twisted.
- 4:31Speaker 5: The bottom line, you gotta let go and let God.
- 4:34Speaker 5: You have to allow him to do it his way. See,
- 4:38Speaker 5: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,
- 4:41Speaker 5: I had to let God have it. I found out
- 4:43Speaker 5: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out
- 4:46Speaker 5: I wouldn't all that good of a explore with a map.
- 4:50Speaker 5: So I had to let go. I had to let God.
- 4:53Speaker 5: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.
- 4:56Speaker 5: How often had I thought it was over for me.
- 5:00Speaker 5: What God was doing was he was teaching me a lesson.
- 5:03Speaker 5: He was showing me something that I needed to know.
- 5:06Speaker 5: He was allowing me to experience some things. But he
- 5:08Speaker 5: didn't let me go under. You know how they say,
- 5:10Speaker 5: God and never put more on you than you can bear.
- 5:13Speaker 5: He won't let you go under you know. It's like
- 5:15Speaker 5: the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when I was
- 5:18Speaker 5: going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man, it
- 5:20Speaker 5: was really really man trying to destroy what I had
- 5:23Speaker 5: worked for in my family and this new life that
- 5:26Speaker 5: God had presented me. And the devil is busy. The
- 5:28Speaker 5: devil don't like to see you happy. So here he comes.
- 5:31Speaker 5: He puts you under attack, and he comes in and
- 5:33Speaker 5: that and everything, and my kids are suffering, but you know,
- 5:36Speaker 5: here comes God. Though see, God don't put more on
- 5:39Speaker 5: you than you can bear. And Bishop Olma sent me
- 5:42Speaker 5: a scripture. He sent me Isaiah forty three one and two.
- 5:46Speaker 5: And in that scripture it says to the effect that
- 5:49Speaker 5: you can walk through the water the rivers, and the
- 5:52Speaker 5: water won't overcome you. But then it said you can
- 5:56Speaker 5: walk through the fire and you will not get burned,
- 6:00Speaker 5: nor will kindling set upon your clothing. I learned something
- 6:04Speaker 5: very valuable that day. See, God sent me through something,
- 6:07Speaker 5: but he was showing me something too. Now he didn't
- 6:11Speaker 5: do it. God didn't bring that calamity into my life
- 6:14Speaker 5: because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says clearly that
- 6:18Speaker 5: if anyone comes against you, it will not be my doing. Now,
- 6:22Speaker 5: this is what he promised you when people come for you, though, see,
- 6:25Speaker 5: and this is what I learned. That's why I have
- 6:27Speaker 5: no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
- 6:30Speaker 5: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
- 6:33Speaker 5: in order for me to learn that. You can't have
- 6:36Speaker 5: a testimony without a test you know what I'm saying.
- 6:39Speaker 5: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
- 6:41Speaker 5: did was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed
- 6:44Speaker 5: into my life, but he taught me something. And Isaiah
- 6:47Speaker 5: forty three to one and two was and you could
- 6:49Speaker 5: walk through the fire and not get burned, nor what
- 6:52Speaker 5: kindling set upon your clothing. So what that said to
- 6:54Speaker 5: me was, even though you trying to do me and
- 6:58Speaker 5: it's fire all around me, burn but when it's over,
- 7:02Speaker 5: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:05Speaker 5: was not only would I walk through the fire and
- 7:08Speaker 5: not get burned, but there will be no signs that
- 7:11Speaker 5: I was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.
- 7:14Speaker 5: But not hold up though, Now he go to park though,
- 7:17Speaker 5: that I had to learn. Even though you can walk
- 7:20Speaker 5: through the fire, y'all, and even though you're being flames
- 7:23Speaker 5: and scorching all around you, if you trust him, he
- 7:25Speaker 5: ain't gonna let you burn. But now hear what he
- 7:27Speaker 5: did not say. Though he did not say that it
- 7:30Speaker 5: was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He ain't say that. He just said, you won't.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Burn, and when it's over, it won't be no signs
- 7:42Speaker 5: that you was in the fire. See what happened to
- 7:44Speaker 5: me was after they tried to destroy me. Let me
- 7:46Speaker 5: show you what God did for me. Not only did
- 7:48Speaker 5: they not accomplish what they set out to do, but
- 7:51Speaker 5: when they was through with me, though, when they was
- 7:54Speaker 5: through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, and throwing
- 7:57Speaker 5: the hate and writing it and lining and eating all
- 8:00Speaker 5: these names for themselves so it could look like most
- 8:03Speaker 5: people is hating, when.
- 8:04Speaker 2: They got through it all that man, look what he
- 8:07Speaker 2: did to me.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Look what he did, fummy because he taught me something
- 8:11Speaker 5: that day, and I'm sharing it with you because God
- 8:14Speaker 5: will do the same thing for you. But you gotta
- 8:16Speaker 5: trust him though. You got to get in there and
- 8:18Speaker 5: you got to let him do it. You gotta let
- 8:20Speaker 5: him handle it. So, just like Pop Bridge just taught
- 8:23Speaker 5: my wife Marjorie, just because you can do something, don't
- 8:26Speaker 5: mean y'all to do something. Yeah, you could go down
- 8:28Speaker 5: there and straighten them out, but should you though? Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 5: you can go down there and tell them all. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 5: you can go down stand up and make sure they
- 8:34Speaker 5: know it's your voice, that they hear it, and you
- 8:36Speaker 5: can get in their face and make a scene.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:42Speaker 2: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 5: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 5: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 8:49Speaker 5: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:51Speaker 5: watch who you go out there with. But you can
- 8:53Speaker 5: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 5: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Hold up, partner, hold up, Dan, what we're down here doing.
- 9:01Speaker 5: So See, sometimes man, you gotta let go and you
- 9:03Speaker 5: gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
- 9:06Speaker 5: and you get it in and do the things that
- 9:08Speaker 5: He tell you to do. See bish Bowman and taught
- 9:11Speaker 5: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:13Speaker 5: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 5: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:18Speaker 5: definition of how do you know it's God's voice talking
- 9:21Speaker 5: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 5: has no sin in it. Whenever you're talking about i'ma go,
- 9:30Speaker 5: I'm gonna show him, I'm gonna get him back. If
- 9:33Speaker 5: it's sining in it, God ain't in it. See that's
- 9:35Speaker 5: you now. God's voice has no sining in it. So
- 9:39Speaker 5: when you say God told me, be careful because God
- 9:44Speaker 5: ain't never told you to go do nothing wrong, that
- 9:46Speaker 5: ain't what he told you.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And I learned that too. It's a lot. So I'm
- 9:51Speaker 2: just sharing today.
- 9:51Speaker 5: I hope it helps somebody today get through a difficult
- 9:54Speaker 5: time because the show has helped me.
- 9:56Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, It's another day, another another blessing, another
- 10:07Speaker 5: moment in time that you've never had before. You'll never
- 10:09Speaker 5: get it again. I'd be grateful for that. I know
- 10:12Speaker 5: I am.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Man.
- 10:13Speaker 5: I woke up this morning thinking, got out here early
- 10:16Speaker 5: this morning. Man got everything in already cold plunged, all
- 10:20Speaker 5: that twenty five minute oxygen bag bike ride, all that all,
- 10:26Speaker 5: it got it all in. Just right after I started
- 10:30Speaker 5: being grateful, I said, Man, get him do something about it,
- 10:32Speaker 5: show him how greatful you are.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Man, I got some health.
- 10:36Speaker 5: I'm gonna go on and use the health I got
- 10:38Speaker 5: man to try to get a little healthy.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Uh, you know what I'm saying.
- 10:41Speaker 8: This is all.
- 10:41Speaker 2: It is just gratitude, y'all.

- 11:58Speaker 2: say that.
- 11:59Speaker 10: Dog.
- 11:59Speaker 5: I've joined in the laugh sometimes, however, I've hollered on
- 12:05Speaker 5: this here.

- 12:21Speaker 2: I asked.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Some people had to take their headsets out so they
- 12:24Speaker 5: could save their job.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I've had people spit coffee out. I had people

- 12:41Speaker 5: I wasn't supposed to say and said it anyway.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I said something yesterday.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Yeah, every day if they asked me something, I'm finished

- 34:14Speaker 2: lost my baby.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I don't need help.
- 34:16Speaker 2: But you you go to work.
- 34:19Speaker 11: Well see that's the thing though, So the workaholic, because
- 34:23Speaker 11: I know that I have a girlfriend that she says
- 34:25Speaker 11: she complains because her man works.
- 34:27Speaker 1: All the time. And I'm like, it's gotta be a
- 34:29Speaker 1: healthy balance.
- 34:31Speaker 2: If you can't make it to the salon, I shall know.
- 34:33Speaker 2: My family.
- 34:34Speaker 5: They did what they thought was an intervention on me
- 34:38Speaker 5: to talk to me about the hours I work and
- 34:40Speaker 5: I need to slow down.
- 34:42Speaker 1: And I agree with them, and so do we.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 5: I asked them all the time, though, what what's y'all's
- 34:50Speaker 5: payment plan for all this year?
- 34:55Speaker 4: For all?
- 34:56Speaker 13: Yeah?

- 35:06Speaker 5: water when they come over because I can't stand.
- 35:10Speaker 2: At the end of the night, I look in there
- 35:12Speaker 2: and it's fourteen.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yottles off halfgeh.
- 35:15Speaker 5: And I'm sitting up in there going okay, you know, head, well,
- 35:20Speaker 5: this was your house. You wouldn't land no fourteen half
- 35:24Speaker 5: open botty on your ground, put your name on your
- 35:29Speaker 5: bottle with that magic mark I put in there.
- 35:32Speaker 7: But there comes a point when are you working because
- 35:36Speaker 7: you have to work or are you working because you
- 35:39Speaker 7: just love what you do too?
- 35:42Speaker 2: It's a combination.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Somebody, my son said something that was really moving to
- 35:48Speaker 5: me in Abu Dhabi and it kind of really made
- 35:53Speaker 5: me feel really good because it let me know he
- 35:55Speaker 5: was thinking about his dad. So I was talking to
- 35:59Speaker 5: the wealthy guy. He was from kirchh Neill or somewhere
- 36:03Speaker 5: like that. I don't know where that is. Go ahead,

- 36:24Speaker 5: that you can do with a billion dollars that you
- 36:27Speaker 5: can't do right now.
- 36:29Speaker 2: You live in nice homes.

- 36:35Speaker 5: how you want. What can you do anymore with the
- 36:38Speaker 5: billion that you can't do now? My son went and
- 36:40Speaker 5: looked at him and said nothing. My dad just wants
- 36:45Speaker 5: to do nothing.
- 36:47Speaker 1: He said, my dad just wants to be My.
- 36:48Speaker 5: Dad just wants to do nothing. And with a billion
- 36:52Speaker 5: dollars he can go do nothing. And I love to
- 36:55Speaker 5: see my dad smile like he do when he ain't
- 36:58Speaker 5: doing nothing. That was great and that was the coolest
- 37:02Speaker 5: thing for me. Man, that he gets it. He know
- 37:05Speaker 5: what I'm trying to do. I don't need a billion
- 37:08Speaker 5: not to do nothing. No, trust me, I gotta do nothing.
- 37:18Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.

- 40:21Speaker 5: them four wives. I'm not coming in that tiny house

- 41:25Speaker 7: It is time now to check Steve's voicemail, and if
- 41:27Speaker 7: you would like to leave a message for Steve, call
- 41:29Speaker 7: him eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve eight seven seven
- 41:33Speaker 7: twenty nine. Steve, you might just hear your call on
- 41:35Speaker 7: the air. Ready, Steve, here we go. This is from
- 41:39Speaker 7: a woman named miss Vance, and she has a relationship
- 41:43Speaker 7: question for you.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Hi, Steve, boss, how you're doing? This is your audience?
- 41:49Speaker 1: Call that Advance.
- 41:51Speaker 14: I'll hope this message and wind up on the radio.
- 41:55Speaker 14: I met a guy about twenty weeks ago and we
- 41:58Speaker 14: uh were at a couple of dinner and I found
- 42:01Speaker 14: out that I don't like him. He's sixty two years
- 42:06Speaker 14: old and all.
- 42:07Speaker 1: He does he works.
- 42:08Speaker 14: He's got a good stuff, but he doesn't do anything
- 42:12Speaker 14: other than work to go home as folk block. He
- 42:16Speaker 14: doesn't have a light other than his job.
- 42:18Speaker 5: What's he foud?
- 42:20Speaker 14: But he's not the man for me.
- 42:22Speaker 1: He's sixty two.
- 42:23Speaker 14: I'm sixty six, so I figure i'm a little older.
- 42:26Speaker 10: Than him, and I'm a little wiser that he is.
- 42:28Speaker 14: But the red fleg went up when I told him
- 42:31Speaker 14: he had to clean out his car uses his transportation
- 42:36Speaker 14: to pick up people anyhow, I said, sitting in your.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Car, it was wrong with it.
- 42:41Speaker 14: I said, thirty And he's like, oh, you're right, it
- 42:45Speaker 14: is dirty. I need to clean it out.
- 42:47Speaker 10: But you know what, I don't like that man.
- 42:49Speaker 14: That's not clean and he only gets crushed up. It's
- 42:53Speaker 14: when I call him and say that I asked him
- 42:55Speaker 14: to take somewhere.
- 42:57Speaker 1: That's the only time he gets brushed up.
- 42:59Speaker 14: For the red fleag for there and I said, no,
- 43:02Speaker 14: just stop the mask for me. I'm waiting on my
- 43:05Speaker 14: husband and I will wait until God sends him to me.
- 43:10Speaker 14: For I'm not the success anything because I have my stance.
- 43:14Speaker 14: Okayall and let me know if I'm wrong, or write y,
- 43:16Speaker 14: I hope this mess gets to you.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Well, I mean you're right, because you have every right
- 43:24Speaker 5: to want exactly what you want.
- 43:26Speaker 2: But let me ask you something.
- 43:28Speaker 5: At sixty six years old, have you ever had everything
- 43:32Speaker 5: you wanted?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you something.
- 43:35Speaker 5: If he's if he treats you right, if he's a
- 43:39Speaker 5: good guy, but all he do is just go home,
- 43:44Speaker 5: go to work, and he go home.
- 43:46Speaker 2: What else she said he do?
- 43:48Speaker 1: And my blunt, Oh he get high at sixty two?
- 43:54Speaker 2: Well, you know he's sixty two, you sixty six. It's
- 43:58Speaker 2: all you doing is smoking weed? Sixty two glacoma.
- 44:02Speaker 5: I mean you know, yeah, that's glacoma, or you know
- 44:07Speaker 5: or all set coinery disease, or you know you're smoking
- 44:11Speaker 5: weed for a purpose. Can you find out if he
- 44:14Speaker 5: got a medical car, here's a deal. You can walk
- 44:18Speaker 5: away from him. But when you tell the man he
- 44:21Speaker 5: needs to clean his car, some guys don't even notice it.
- 44:24Speaker 5: It takes a woman's touch sometimes, sometimes a woman is
- 44:28Speaker 5: just the thing that a man is missing. But if
- 44:32Speaker 5: he's got a good job and he works hard, and
- 44:34Speaker 5: he treats you right, he's a nice guy. The only
- 44:37Speaker 5: time he leave the house if you ask him to
- 44:39Speaker 5: take you somewhere, But your problem would be if he say,
- 44:42Speaker 5: I ain't taking you nowhere. Now, you just got to
- 44:45Speaker 5: weigh out the pros with the cons. Make a list
- 44:48Speaker 5: of everything you like about him, and then make a
- 44:50Speaker 5: list of everything you don't like about him. If the
- 44:52Speaker 5: don'ts outweigh the dudes, then you just walk away. But
- 44:56Speaker 5: if it's a couple of things wrong with the guy,
- 44:59Speaker 5: it could be a couple of things that could be fixed.
- 45:02Speaker 10: Now.
- 45:02Speaker 5: If you then decided that he ain't the one for you,
- 45:05Speaker 5: then he ain't the wrong for you. I ain't gonna
- 45:08Speaker 5: talk you into it.
- 45:09Speaker 12: They ain't got too much time left, though, dude, I mean,
- 45:13Speaker 12: hurt this.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Up, hurt well.
- 45:17Speaker 5: I don't want to say that I totally disagree with you,
- 45:20Speaker 5: because one of the people in this letter sixty six
- 45:22Speaker 5: I had a resent YO saying something like that.
- 45:26Speaker 2: So it's sixty six.
- 45:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I got I got plenty of time left. I
- 45:31Speaker 5: got forty more years left.
- 45:33Speaker 1: And you don't smoke weed.
- 45:36Speaker 2: You got your wife, don't you good? Yeah?
- 45:38Speaker 5: So I mean, but you know, I look, if this
- 45:42Speaker 5: ain't the one for you, walk away. But if he
- 45:45Speaker 5: cleans up when you tell him to clean up if
- 45:47Speaker 5: he comes get you when you ask him to come
- 45:49Speaker 5: get you, you might be throwing away a good man
- 45:52Speaker 5: to just need a little couple of moves here in him.
- 45:54Speaker 5: And I'm pretty sure if you said, hey, man, you've
- 45:56Speaker 5: got to stop smoking so much weed, he might even
- 45:59Speaker 5: cut back on for you. Find out what he's willing
- 46:02Speaker 5: to do to keep you before you leave. You could
- 46:04Speaker 5: be the woman he'll change for you don't want it.
- 46:07Speaker 5: If you want him already fixed up, then just keep waiting.
- 46:10Speaker 7: Coming up next, the Nephew and Today's Prank Phone Call.
- 46:14Speaker 7: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:22Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:24Speaker 7: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:27Speaker 7: the subject is I like taffy but he doesn't. We'll
- 46:31Speaker 7: get into that find out what that's all about in
- 46:35Speaker 7: just a few because right now it is time for
- 46:38Speaker 7: the Nephew and Today's prank phone call.
- 46:40Speaker 1: What you got for his neph.
- 46:42Speaker 12: Surely it's the summer time. Everybody's flopping around in the pool,
- 46:45Speaker 12: you know, every now and then, you know you might have.
- 46:47Speaker 2: A little gathering. You might need a lifeguard. You know
- 46:49Speaker 2: what I mean. You might need a lifeguard.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but this was right here.
- 46:56Speaker 12: What we need a naked lifeguard? No, we don't, naked
- 47:01Speaker 12: life that's what we need. And what we need a
- 47:03Speaker 12: naked lifeguard. Hey ya hey, hey, that's the job. Don't
- 47:08Speaker 12: knock the job. Okay, job, we need a naked lifeguard.
- 47:12Speaker 12: You can save people. Now, you can save a float
- 47:16Speaker 12: and your body.
- 47:17Speaker 2: That's good. That's it, naked lifeguard. Let's go care though.
- 47:24Speaker 17: Hello.
- 47:25Speaker 10: Hello, I'm trying to reach a carricter.
- 47:28Speaker 17: Yes, this is carried Carrie.

- 47:38Speaker 10: far as being a lifeguard.
- 47:40Speaker 17: Oh yeah, I did.
- 47:41Speaker 10: Okay. Have you had much experience being a lifeguard?
- 47:44Speaker 18: Yeah, I've been doing this for a while now, back
- 47:48Speaker 18: since I was like eighteen I got my CPR certification.
- 47:54Speaker 18: I've had as many as like two hundred people at
- 47:58Speaker 18: one time watching them. So I'm good. I'm good at
- 48:01Speaker 18: what I do.
- 48:01Speaker 10: I love it, very good, very good. Well, i'll tell
- 48:04Speaker 10: you what. I've looked over your application and I've checked

- 49:39Speaker 10: Okay, now here's the deal. This is in negated community,
- 49:42Speaker 10: like I told you before, but also it's going to
- 49:45Speaker 10: be adults that night, and they are actually going to
- 49:48Speaker 10: be swimming nude. What Yeah, they're going to be swimming neude.
- 49:53Speaker 10: And what they asked is if they're going to be
- 49:55Speaker 10: swimming nude, they want to make sure that the lifeguard
- 49:58Speaker 10: that's protecting them is going to be nude as well.
- 50:02Speaker 18: Okay, I'm a certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified, I'm a student.
- 50:08Speaker 18: I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't on my resume.
- 50:12Speaker 10: And I understand that wholeheartedly. But we're talking about you
- 50:17Speaker 10: possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty dollars a week. How
- 50:19Speaker 10: you feel about seventeen hundred and fifty a week for
- 50:22Speaker 10: your nursing school. I'm sure that'll that'll definitely pay for
- 50:24Speaker 10: it throughout the entire summer. That should be a big help.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Shouldn't it?
- 50:29Speaker 10: Yeah? Would, But I mean, I mean, are are you?
- 50:33Speaker 10: How do you feel about trying it for a few
- 50:35Speaker 10: weeks and then you know, how do you feel about that?
- 50:38Speaker 17: I don't know, But I mean, you're.
- 50:41Speaker 10: Gonna watch over some adults who are actually just gonna
- 50:43Speaker 10: be nude in the pool, and you're nude as well,
- 50:46Speaker 10: up on the big chair that overwatches everybody. Seventeen fifty
- 50:52Speaker 10: I don't seventeen fifty carry.
- 50:54Speaker 18: I don't think I'm going to be able to do that.
- 50:57Speaker 10: Seventeen fifty carry. We're talking about four hours of you
- 51:01Speaker 10: being nude along with some other people that are already new. So,
- 51:04Speaker 10: I mean, what's the big deal. You know what we
- 51:06Speaker 10: need you to do is come down. We're gonna do
- 51:08Speaker 10: some drills, some lifeguard drills to make sure that you're
- 51:10Speaker 10: definitely qualified. But we're going to make sure that when
- 51:13Speaker 10: you do those, you got to be naked as well. Okay,
- 51:16Speaker 10: why why.
- 51:17Speaker 17: Would I have to do some drills naked? I'm on
- 51:21Speaker 17: a raady a lifeguard. What do I need to drink?
- 51:23Speaker 10: Understand all that? But in order we for our particular property,
- 51:27Speaker 10: we got to make sure that you're actually prepared and
- 51:29Speaker 10: ready you know, I understand. Well, that's the way it is,
- 51:32Speaker 10: carrit We need you to come down and do some drills.
- 51:36Speaker 10: It's not going to take a long probably about a
- 51:38Speaker 10: half hour. You come down, you get undressed, you get
- 51:40Speaker 10: in the pool, and we make sure that you're qualified
- 51:43Speaker 10: to swim nude, to handle to saving somebody's life, nude,
- 51:47Speaker 10: the whole nine yards.
- 51:49Speaker 18: But what I mean, what if my family come to that?
- 51:53Speaker 10: Carrie? You know, I can't go back and forth with you.
- 51:56Speaker 10: I can't now. I know you. You know, I looked
- 51:58Speaker 10: at your resume, I looked at what you're doing and
- 52:00Speaker 10: what you're pursuing in life, and I thought this would
- 52:03Speaker 10: be a great opportunity for you.
- 52:04Speaker 18: But I can't be here. I mean, I can't do
- 52:06Speaker 18: that to my family.
- 52:08Speaker 10: And you know, no, wait a minute, hang on a second.
- 52:10Speaker 10: Now you can't tell me you can't do it now?
- 52:12Speaker 17: Oh yes, I yes.
- 52:14Speaker 15: I can't.
- 52:15Speaker 10: So you get your down here in the morning so
- 52:17Speaker 10: I can get these drills done. And I want you
- 52:19Speaker 10: naked when you get here and get in this pool.
- 52:21Speaker 10: You understand me, Who the hell.
- 52:23Speaker 17: Do you think you're talking to? Are you some kind
- 52:25Speaker 17: of pool pimp? Lifeguard?
- 52:27Speaker 10: You?
- 52:27Speaker 17: Human resources are a pimp. You're not tipping me. I
- 52:30Speaker 17: don't have to come down there, but I want to
- 52:32Speaker 17: come down there.
- 52:33Speaker 10: You gotta bring you think it down there tomorrow and
- 52:35Speaker 10: get in this pool.
- 52:37Speaker 5: And do the drill.
- 52:37Speaker 10: Do you think you're talking to I'm talking to you.
- 52:40Speaker 10: You get here tomorrow and you do the drill.

- 56:45Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 56:45Speaker 7: Subject. I like Tappy, but my husband doesn't. Here's Stephen Shirley.
- 56:50Speaker 7: I met my husband two years ago and we got
- 56:53Speaker 7: married for Valentine's We met at a nightclub, and it's
- 56:56Speaker 7: a funny story how we met. He was on the
- 56:58Speaker 7: dance floor with a very beautiful and curvy woman. I
- 57:02Speaker 7: was dancing next to them, and the girl he was
- 57:05Speaker 7: dancing with pulled me over to dance between them. She
- 57:08Speaker 7: started grinding on me and he got closer and started
- 57:11Speaker 7: grinding on me too. The girl, whose name is Tathy,
- 57:15Speaker 7: gave me her cell number and her driver's license. She
- 57:18Speaker 7: had game and she knew how to get me to
- 57:21Speaker 7: go home with her. She told me to do a
- 57:23Speaker 7: screenshot of her license and send it to my best
- 57:26Speaker 7: friend so she'd know my whereabouts. That did make me
- 57:29Speaker 7: more at ease about going to her house. I followed
- 57:32Speaker 7: her home and the guy who's my husband now was
- 57:36Speaker 7: right behind me. We did bourbon shots and smoked weed
- 57:40Speaker 7: and I was feeling tingly in all the right places.
- 57:43Speaker 7: I'm sure you know what happened next. We had a
- 57:45Speaker 7: threesome that lasted all night, and by the next morning
- 57:49Speaker 7: I was hooked on both of them. He was one
- 57:52Speaker 7: of a kind in bed, and she was my first
- 57:55Speaker 7: female experience. The guy and I started dating exclusively without tat,
- 58:00Speaker 7: but I did beg him to have Taffy join us
- 58:03Speaker 7: a few times. He would not allow it, so I
- 58:06Speaker 7: had to respect his wishes. He also blamed the threesome
- 58:09Speaker 7: with Taffy on alcohol, but I was not drunk and
- 58:12Speaker 7: I knew exactly what I was doing. I revisited the
- 58:16Speaker 7: subject of Taffy joining us for his birthday in August,
- 58:19Speaker 7: and he calmly asked me not to ever bring up
- 58:22Speaker 7: Taffy to him again. I knew that wasn't the right
- 58:24Speaker 7: time to tell him. I've been seeing Taffy since we
- 58:27Speaker 7: got married. Am I supposed to stop seeing Taffy because
- 58:31Speaker 7: he doesn't like her? Well, no, you're not supposed to
- 58:37Speaker 7: stop seeing Taffy because he doesn't like her. You're supposed
- 58:40Speaker 7: to stop seeing Taffy because you're married, and seeing Taffy
- 58:45Speaker 7: means that you're having an affair. Okay, that's what that means.
- 58:50Speaker 7: It doesn't mean. It doesn't matter whether he likes her
- 58:52Speaker 7: or not. If you're seeing her behind his back and
- 58:54Speaker 7: you are, then you're cheating on your husband with Taffy.
- 58:58Speaker 7: That's what it is. You're having an affair. Your husband
- 59:00Speaker 7: doesn't know you've been cheating on him since you were married.
- 59:04Speaker 7: You got turned out that crazy night you guys had
- 59:06Speaker 7: to threesome and he said he was drunk that night.
- 59:10Speaker 7: And he's over it, and he wants you over it too.
- 59:13Speaker 7: He doesn't want you to ever bring her up again.
- 59:16Speaker 7: He's not with it. Don't you see that you're his
- 59:19Speaker 7: wife now and he is not willing to share with
- 59:22Speaker 7: you or to share you. So it boils down to this,
- 59:28Speaker 7: wify your husband or tatthy. That's pretty much what it is.
- 59:32Speaker 7: Can you Will you leave Taffy alone for the sake
- 59:35Speaker 7: of your marriage? I mean, we know you like Taffy
- 59:37Speaker 7: and all that, but it doesn't and it doesn't seem
- 59:40Speaker 7: like you can let her go because you're considering telling
- 59:43Speaker 7: your husband that you've been seeing her since you guys
- 59:46Speaker 7: got married. So do you honestly think he's going to
- 59:49Speaker 7: stick around after you tell him? Is this thing with
- 59:52Speaker 7: Taffy worth losing your husband over? That's what you have
- 59:55Speaker 7: to decide, Steve, Well.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: I agree with you, Shirley. A couple other things I
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: want to add. You know, the subject of this letter
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: is I like taffy, but my husband don't. Taffy is
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: a cold word. I know taffy is the name girl,
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: but what do taffy do? What is taffy? Taffy is
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: a sweet form of candy. Taffy is gooey, Taffy is stretchable,
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: Taffy is chewy.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Taffy is sticky.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Now, y'all met at a nightclub where y'all was dancing.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: Now this means you all are older, because they don't
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: do that at clubs no more. They just go to
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: clubs and stand around.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: My kids when they go to club they ain't no dancing.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: They're all in there taking self fast, doing shots and
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: standing in different sections. Ain't hardly no dancing at clubs
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: no more. I don't know if you all noticed this,
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: but that ain't what they do, So you all have
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: got to be older. If y'all was at a club
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: dancing somewhere, he was dancing with a beautiful curvy woman.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: That's another clue that lets you know you or she
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: was very beautiful and curvy. Okay, you all are grown people, now,
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: don't nobody say that. No, young people don't use curvy.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: They got other nasty ways of doing it. That's too
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: much for radio, But that ain't what they call them.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: You was dancing next to him, and the girl pulled
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: you over and danced between them. She started grinding on me,
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: and he got close and started grinding on me too.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Then the girl, this's the part that threw me a
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: little bit, gave you her cell number and her driver's license.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: Oh well, she'd have done this before. I ain't never
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: done that, And I done, gave a lot of girls
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: my phone number. They am I giving you my driver's license?
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: What this right here? Anyway? Uh?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: She had game?
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: You say she knew how to get me to go
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: home with her. What sell nomb me drivers like? Because
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: if that's it, I'm telling you right now, you know
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: how many men gonna go out here and get fake
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: license printed up.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: If that's all it takes.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: And she told me to do a screenshot of her
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: license and send it to my best friends so she
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: know my whereabouts. That did make me feel more at easy?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Girl?
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: What got to be crazy? How to hell it make
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: you feel of? These could have been a fake license,
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: little girl? Anyway, we'll be back. I'll tell you what else.
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: Yeah, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of your
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: spons coming up at twenty three minutes after the subject
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: for today's strawberry letter I like.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Taffy, but he doesn't. We'll get back into it right
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: Hey, listeners, A leave has a question for you. Do
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: you remember what it felt like when back pain didn't
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: take over your day? You'd bend, twist, sit, stand without
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: even thinking about it. Well, that feeling didn't go anywhere
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: thanks to a leave With just one dose, A leave
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: gives you long lasting back pain relief for up to
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: twelve hours, so you can get back to moving the
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: way you used to feel. A leave use as directed
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: for minor aches and pains. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I like tatthy,
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: but he doesn't.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: All right. So she met this couple, met her husband,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: she's been married a couple of years. Dance floor.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: He was dancing with this beautiful curvy woman. The woman
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: saw her, pulled her between and started grinding and on.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Her husband started grinding on it. The lady gave her
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: her cell number and her driver's license, told him to
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: come home. You driving home, meet with the girl. You
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: follow home. The guy followed, y'all, who is now your husband?
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: He was right behind me, y'all did bourbon shots and
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: smoke weed and was feeling tingly all in the right places. Well, okay, well,
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: I'm sure you know what happened next. We had a
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: threesome that lasted all night, and by the next morning
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: I was hooked on both of them. He was one
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: of a kind in bed and she had. She was
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: my first female experience. The guy and I started dating
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: exclusively without Taffy. Here we go, just what the letter
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: is about. I like Taffy, but he don't. We started
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: dating exclusively without Taffy. But I did beg him to
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: have Taffy join us a few times. He would not
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: allow it, so I had to respect his wishes. He's
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: always blamed the threesome with Taffy on alcohol, and I
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: was not drunk, and I knew exactly what I was doing.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: I revisited the subject of Taffy joining us for his
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: birthday in August. He calmly asked me, don't ever bring
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: up Taffy again to him, and I knew that wasn't
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: the right time, telling him I've been seeing Taffy since
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: we got married. Am I supposed to stop seeing Taffa
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: because he don't like her?
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: Well?
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: Surey made the obvious statement, that's truly true. Now you
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: shouldn't stop seeing Taffa because Taffan don't like. You're supposed
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: to stop seeing Taffy because you was married. Now, but
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: all this is out the window. Don't even worry about that.
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: We can forget about morality here you've accepted that this
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: is the way you're gonna do it, and this is
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: what you're doing.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: So I don't. I don't.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Your answer, of course, are you supposed to stop seeing
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: Kaffe Taffa because he don't like him? Well, let me
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: tell you a problem he got with Taffy. He knows
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: something about Taffy.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: You don't. Here's a word that I can use on
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: the radio, be comfortable. Taffy is hoosh. Oh that's a radio.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: So you just went there with yeah, Taffy's hoi ish
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: and he that's not what he wants.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: See. Let me tell you what your problem is that your.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: H sluody no flood out there ain't got nothing to
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: do with it. One night passing out screen shots of
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: drivers license getting you go home. You ain't the first
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: woman she took home. You ain't the last, and he
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: know that. See, but he knows something about Taffy.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: You don't.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Here's the problem your husband got. The reason he don't
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: want to be bothered with Taffy is because he trying
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: to treat you special and you ain't. Your husband actually
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: think he done found something and now he won't it.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: Now he's blaming the relationship y'all had on alcohol, which
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: was probably true. Y'all said, y'all was doing shots and
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: smoking weed. You knew exactly what you was doing, but
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: you was doing shots and smoking weed too. Remember it
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: lasted all night. You was hooked on both of them.
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: After that, he wasn't hooked on her no more. He
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: wanted you. See, he know what Tiffany do. He didn't
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: done that before Taffy.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: He'd have followed her home before.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: It's a trick move. He already knowed. So now he
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: trying to treat you specially, and you ain't. The problem
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: is he don't have what he think he got. He
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: think he got a wife. Now he had asked you
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: not to bring her up. He'd have told you said
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: for his birthday you wanted to bring up. Now you
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: hit us with the information. I knew that wasn't the
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: right time to tell him. I've been seeing Taffy since
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: we got mad Am. I supposed to stop seeing Taffy
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: because he don't like her.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: No.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: See, so the same about you gonna keep seeing.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Taffy and when he find out, you're gonna lose your husband. See,
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: you want you want to do what you want to do,
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: and in this world today. Were supposed to go along
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: with this, but that ain't cool. See, everybody wants you
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: to accept their lifestyle. But you don't have to listen, folks.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: You don't have to accept everything you hear today just
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: because somebody want to go along with it and be
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: this and be that. They are allowed to do that.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: You're free to make choices as human being. But you
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: ain't got to like that. I ain't got to like that.
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: You like threesomes and I don't. I ain't gotta like that.
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: Now he done married you? He no good, He don't
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: have no idea. You still kicking it with Tiffany, Taffy
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: Tiffany whatever?
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: What difference do it make?
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Taffy is not Tiffany?
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: But what difference do it make? Hedn't? He don't want
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: her bought up no more? And you doing her?
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: And you want to know simply, am I supposed to
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: stop seeing Taffy because he don't like her? What do
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: you know of a married man that can ask that
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: question to his wife? Am I supposed to stop seeing
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: these chicks on the side because my wife don't like her?
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Do you know how that?
- 1:09:21Speaker 14: What?
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: That has no possibility of working? So how are we
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: supposed to I don't care what you do. Lady, listen
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: to me. You should have never gotten married. See you
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: done found their first experience with a female. That's what
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: you want through now you want to be by? Didn't
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: go be bye? Ain't nothing wrong with that?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Go do you by Taffy?
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: But that ain't what's it?
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Bye?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Taffy?
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: By you, by your everybody by.

- 1:11:24Speaker 7: that you want to introduce Junior?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Did you want to because it's been a minute giving
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: a beautiful poem.

- 1:12:14Speaker 9: So Uncle Steve, can I come over and fix me
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: a plate? I wrote a poem to ask so you
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: won't say no. And I didn't just want to pop
- 1:12:23Speaker 9: up at your dough because you got security and everything.
- 1:12:26Speaker 9: I can bring my own container in alluin the fall.
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: I can't stay too long because I don't want my
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: potato selling to spoil. Look, I would like to have
- 1:12:36Speaker 9: some steak, ribs and chicken. You know you real rich,
- 1:12:39Speaker 9: so I know all your food.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Gonna be finger licking. Can't ask time here Collar because they.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Live too far away, and you already know Shirley ain't
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: making a thing that day.
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: So I'm asking for a plate from my boss Mintor
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: and friend Uncle Steve. Can I please come get some barbecue?
- 1:12:56Speaker 11: D n.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Wow?
- 1:13:00Speaker 13: Now wound?
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Okay, I'm covering every right.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: Can I get a play.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Right by myself?
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: I just want to point out I cover everybody because
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: call it and Tommy, y'all do live too far. I
- 1:13:19Speaker 9: can't get nothing, so I gotta go where I know everybody.
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: I know everybody gonna be on Steve. How So Steve
- 1:13:24Speaker 9: just asked a question in front.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Of the nation. Well, Julian play, oh, come, oh.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Here's here.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: Your response is in a poet This by Fall is
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: your best poet.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: That's for show.
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: But the answer to your question is still hell no,
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: we got to go.
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: Hi.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: This is Felicius shot and you're listening to the Steve
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: All right, Steve.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: This is from Treats and San Antonio.
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: She says, my husband's phone is always vibrating. He said
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: it's a group text with his boys, and instead of
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: checking it when it goes off, he said, it's no
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: big deal and he'll read the messages later when he's alone.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: He's constantly looking at his phone, but the minute I
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: walk in, he puts it face down or in his pocket.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Are group text among men a thing?
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Or?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: And if so, what are they talking about?
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: Well, I'm on a group text with twelve dude, and
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: sometimes it could be a bit mindless because they're old
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: and they group text.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Be Okay, that's right, I agree, Yeah, just be church
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: one liners.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Yeah, right on, God bless you know stuff like that.
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: I don't like messages like that, you know, then they
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: don't learn how to do the little hard emo. Yeah
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: stopped that words, and so yeah it can happen. Now
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: the reason is going off on vibrate because he don't
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: have it on ring. And so if his face down
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: and he stopped when you come in the room, maybe
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: he tried to be respectful of you and give you
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: the one divide it.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Okay, that's what it is.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Y'all gonna accept this advice.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Okay, we don't have to.
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: And I'm just giving you an all to this thought
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: process so you don't drive yourself.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Crazy, you think right now?
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just saying, you know, maybe he turned it
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: phone upside down because he comes to white man, let
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: me give him my attention and put it down and
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: put it in my pocket.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: That's what here's a thought.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Could it possibly be a female texting or something. Yeah,
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: we'll imagine that.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be quite possible.
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: Yeah, that's why he's turning it over and doesn't answer
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: it when she's a could it be that?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: You think all that could be the case.
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: But he told her it was a group of guys texting.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: And that's what it is.
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: You shut up until different you could drive your craze
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: if you want to, all you could just ask to
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: let him see the text.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Lesson read me the last text? What the fellas? What
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: did the last text sayety.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: You not wanted the fellas? You don't need to know
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: what this is?
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: What is your name?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: My last group text for my girl?
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: I don't care nothing about your last group text?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Reading on three one two three?
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Ain't no one two three? But no, we're not trying.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: This is because it's just the fellas and I'm not
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: gonna have disrespected that way.
- 1:16:46Speaker 12: We over here talking about would you rather catwoman or
- 1:16:49Speaker 12: wonder woman?
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: We're doing that, that's all we're doing.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: Yeah, all that could be happening, lady, but until you
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: have proof, you're wearing yourself to death.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Unless you're gonna have proof, then don't do that.
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: Okay, Well, if he would just let her see the phone,
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: that's proof, right.
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: Well, yeah, you gotta let him see the phone. But
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: you know, I mean, if he lets you see the phone.
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: But if your man don't want you to see the phone,
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: because there's something on the phone he don't want you to.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: See obviously, just ain't no magic trick.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: It's wrong with you.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Ain't that complicated? Just pull up the text three and
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: so I can see what you're talking about.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: I'm not going to do that. You can't handle that,
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: all right?
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: We might have time for one more. This is from
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: Shaquila in Philly. Sequela says she's an er nurse and
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: she works from three to eleven. She's married. She has
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: a six year old son. She said, I made lasagna
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: Tuesday and I left it out to cool off before
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: I went to work. When I got home at eleven
- 1:17:50Speaker 7: thirty pm, it was still on the counter. My husband
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: and my son's plates were on the counter was stuck
- 1:17:55Speaker 7: on food and cox build on the countertop. This is
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: a daily occurring, and I can't get my husband to
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: lift a finger in the kitchen. He told me it's
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: my domain, and I almost lost it and hit him
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: with a cast iron skillet.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Why can't you clean up after himself? She almost killed it,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: Yeah, he needs to start cleaning up because you get
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: here with that skill it dog, I'm gonna just tell
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: you you're done.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: I can bust you upside your head now.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: This hush.
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: You know you got you got to chip in around now, bro,
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: you got to chip in. It's her domain.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that ain't how it work man, all.
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: Right, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,

- 1:18:57Speaker 7: of summer to you? That's what a new survey has
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: asked two thousand American adults, and it finds that for
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: thirty six percent, summer is their favorite time of year.
- 1:19:08Speaker 7: When it comes to the most iconic summer feelings like
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: barbecuing or grilling aroma tops the list. Okay, barbecuing or
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: grilling aroma, that's what tops the list, it says, followed
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: by hanging out.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Near the water, the beach or a pool.
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: Or hanging just hanging out with your family, going to

- 1:23:21Speaker 5: Yeah, everybody thought I would never be on stay Yeah,
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: come on all of.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Them all right?
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: Would you rather have four wives and four different homes
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: or would you have rather have one wife in a
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: tiny house.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: I can't do that tiny house, which I got it.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: I'm gonna take them four wives. I'm gonna take them
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: full wives.
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: I'm not coming in that tiny house because there's no
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: way I could stay married in a tiny house. Why not,
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: because I'm gonna have to go to the bathroom. It's
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: just you're not gonna survive that. It don't matter you
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: no matter what you can. I'm gonna tell you what.
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: I don't know what it is heard, but you you
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: can do whatever you want to. You're not in a
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: tiny house. I don't what you drank, Baker Mill. You
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: drank similar when yo, it's in that tiny house. See
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: The problem is what you done ate all these years before.
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: That's lying in your coaling.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: It's that's today's rounding. Would you rather coming up the
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: break of the day? At forty nine minutes after right
- 1:24:28Speaker 7: after that hot saucy you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: Morning Show.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: This Steve Harbin Martin show Man.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Have you ever been in a hot air balloon at all?
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: I don't want to. I've been in the blimp. I
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: don't like it. And that was when he was little.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: That's what we told him.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: It was. We had just tied into a balloon.
- 1:25:04Speaker 11: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:25:10Speaker 11: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops, Swift for
- 1:25:13Speaker 11: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:25:17Speaker 11: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. The
- 1:25:21Speaker 11: new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning actions
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No more
- 1:25:29Speaker 11: dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love it
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: or your money back?
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: All right, Steve, Here we are last break of the day,
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: and of course it is time for you to leave
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: us with some closing remarks.
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: I want to give you some encouragement on your road
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: to success. I've often said a million times that the
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: road to success is always onder construction, that you can
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: expect the pitfalls, to set backs, the detools, the working
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: men at work, so forth, and so on. But what
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: I want to remind you of is that you can
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: win if you can fight through the clutter. And one
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: of the best ways that I can give you to
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: fight through the clutter you have to have a relationship
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: with God. I mean, it's just really the best way
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: to fight through the clutter because you really don't know
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: how exactly to become successful. You really don't know exactly how,
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: I mean. And the reason I know you don't know
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: exactly how is because you've probably aimed for something that
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: in order to achieve it you really do need God's help.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: So is nothing.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: Wrong when you don't know exactly how you're going to
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: make it, because what that means is you've aspired to
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: something so great that in order for it to happen,
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: you absolutely have to have God's help. That's where you
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: want to be. You want to be on a mission
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: that keeps you awake at night. You want to be
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: on a mission man that makes you wake up early.
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: You want to be on a mission that requires you
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: to pray constantly. You want to be on a mission, man,
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: where you seek the advice and help of other people.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: That's in a higher position. You want to be on
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: a mission where not achieving it becomes absolutely unacceptable.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: But to get there, you got to fight through the clutter.
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: And the biggest form of clutter in your mind is
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: the actual figuring it out. Can you remember back on
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: how many times you've tried to figure something out your life?
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: Your next move, who to call, who to talk to,
- 1:27:54Speaker 5: whether to try to sell them, how to sell them,
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: what to buy, how to buy? If you go back
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: over all your life of you figuring out my next move?
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: Should I go to school? Should I not go to school?
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: Should I get a degree in this? Should I not
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: get a degree in this? Should I apply for that job?
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: But this job?
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: Should I go over here because they pay a little
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: bit more, but this one has better stability? I don't know,
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: but you've constantly been trying to work that out. That's
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: exhausting and it keeps your mind cluttered. I was reading
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: in my daily meditation, how when you clutter your mind
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: up with the how to you remove God's presence in
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: your life, because He's always hovering and standing close by
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: to come in and comfort you and be beside you
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: and help you make these decisions. But if you never
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: invite him in, if you never invite him to make
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: the decisions, if you never allow his presence to come
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: and calm you down. Man, sometimes you just need calming.
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: You know, when you could deal with a lot of
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: this stuff that you're going through a lot better if
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: you will have just a calming effect. The calming effect,
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: that's the peace you get when you form a relationship
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: with God. God calms you down because you know he
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: got your back, you know he's in control. He know
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: he got your best interest at heart, you know that
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: he's behind the scenes working on your behalf. When you
- 1:29:15Speaker 5: have that type of relationship, it cools you out. You
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: can chill. You can't do anything about tomorrow, so worrying
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: about it doesn't affect it. Now, I'm not saying and
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: sitting here that you're not supposed to plan, that you're
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: not supposed to have dreams and aspirations, because you do.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: But in all my dreams of aspirations, all the things
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: I want I've had to learn to be flexible because
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: what I want and what God has for me is
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: oftentimes two different things. But can I share something with you?
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: The thing that God has for you is way better
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: than anything anything you could possibly plan. You can't figure
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: it the.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Way he do does.
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: His thoughts is way up there, man, His ways is
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: way up there. You can't outfigure God. God can take
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: a very very dismal situation, folks, and turn it into
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: pure gold for you. When they are lining themselves against you,
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: If God is with you, who can be against you?
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: So let them line up. If you know you've got
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: a relationship with God, and you know you're not over
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: there by yourself, why would you be afraid of someone
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: lining up against you? Let them lined up. You're talking
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: to somebody who knows this all too well. They have
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: lined up against me in numbers. But guess what, they
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: can't do nothing to me. God don't allow And even
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: if you do do it, it doesn't mean it has
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: the effect of the desired effect on me that you
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: wanted to.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: And so that's the same thing with you.
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: Because of this relationship with God, you don't have to
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: be in and react to every time I don't like
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: a picture or make a bad comment or put a
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: false falsehood out there about you. You don't have to
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: react to all of that because you have peace in
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: a relationship with God. You got to form this relationship, y'all.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: You have to. It's imperative to who you are. And
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: the thing about forming relationship, you don't have to clear
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: it with nobody. But you ain't got to even tell
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: nobody you doing it. You can show them a difference you.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: You don't have to make an admission. I'm talking to
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: God every day trying to become a better person. You
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: ain't got to tell nobody that.
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: Just do it. Just do it.
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: That's all you've got to do. All right, those are
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: my closing remarks.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: All right, drop it it's dropped, Thank you, sir.
- 1:31:45Speaker 16: Yeah, needed that.
