- 0:45Speaker 6: Yeah, Joy, you don't do that.
- 1:13Speaker 7: Urn.
- 1:24Speaker 6: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Okay, got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 8: You probably got to turn the mouth. Mouth turn A
- 1:47Speaker 8: wad of the money up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out, you think, Ah huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:06Speaker 1: digmy now want it only? Steve Harvey got a radio show? Why?
- 2:12Speaker 9: Because God, God is in the blessing business. If you
- 2:18Speaker 9: go get in line, he has something for you. God
- 2:23Speaker 9: is amazing. The plan he actually has for you is
- 2:27Speaker 9: so far greater than you can possibly imagine.
- 2:30Speaker 1: It's really mind blowing.
- 2:33Speaker 9: And as I look back on where He's brought me
- 2:36Speaker 9: from and what he's currently doing for me, all I
- 2:41Speaker 9: can do is tell you is God. That's all I
- 2:43Speaker 9: can tell you, Because I tell you right now, I
- 2:46Speaker 9: didn't foresee it.
- 2:48Speaker 10: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 9: It oftentimes amazes me when I listen to celebrities when
- 2:51Speaker 9: they interview, how they say, you know, I always always
- 2:54Speaker 9: thought that this would happen for me and I just
- 2:57Speaker 9: you know, it could be true, but for me, it's
- 3:00Speaker 9: not that way at all. I didn't imagine it this way.
- 3:08Speaker 9: I had a dream of becoming famous one day, but
- 3:12Speaker 9: I had no idea it would ever get to this.
- 3:18Speaker 9: It was a very very simple desire for fame. There
- 3:22Speaker 9: is no way I could have seen all this. There
- 3:24Speaker 9: is no way I am telling you this is. This
- 3:29Speaker 9: has been nothing for me but the grace of God,
- 3:33Speaker 9: and all the times I failed, every time I had fallen,
- 3:38Speaker 9: he picked me up, He dusted me off, and he
- 3:42Speaker 9: kept me moving. It has been an amazing thing to
- 3:47Speaker 9: watch God do what he do. As I look back
- 3:50Speaker 9: on my history and you sometimes look back on your history,
- 3:53Speaker 9: you've got to see, man, wow, what God has done
- 3:57Speaker 9: for you and what He's brought you through to enable.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You to be where you are. It is amazing because really,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I mean really real talk.
- 4:06Speaker 9: Now, had he allowed all of the decisions I had
- 4:09Speaker 9: made to play all the way out, I could assure you.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today.
- 4:14Speaker 9: But God, through this grace and mercy, who had a
- 4:17Speaker 9: plan for me, who was just waiting on me to
- 4:20Speaker 9: come get in line, and then he was gonna start
- 4:23Speaker 9: emptying Now he was gonna start shipping out all the
- 4:27Speaker 9: boxes in heaven with my name on it. And man,
- 4:30Speaker 9: what a great god he is, What a great god
- 4:33Speaker 9: he is. And you have boxes of blessings with your
- 4:38Speaker 9: name on it that he is waiting to ship. But
- 4:41Speaker 9: he needs you to go down there and get in line.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 4:46Speaker 9: It is not that he has more boxes for other
- 4:49Speaker 9: people than he do you. He got boxes with your
- 4:51Speaker 9: name on it who have never been shipped because you
- 4:55Speaker 9: will not get in line to go get them. You
- 4:58Speaker 9: will not ask God for him, you will not do
- 5:01Speaker 9: the things necessary to attain them. We stop our own blessings. Man,
- 5:05Speaker 9: I have been the biggest stopper of my blessings than
- 5:08Speaker 9: anybody else. I can't really get mad at nobody. I
- 5:11Speaker 9: got nobody to blame for my existence but me. But
- 5:15Speaker 9: then at the same time, I can't take credit for this.
- 5:19Speaker 9: I really really can't.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I kid you not.
- 5:21Speaker 9: I cannot take credit for it. And if you ever
- 5:24Speaker 9: see me taking credit for it, tap me on the shoulder,
- 5:27Speaker 9: say Steve, pull up. Remember you said the Saint about you.
- 5:31Speaker 9: If you catch me taking too much credit, you have
- 5:35Speaker 9: my permission to stop me. Now Here is the deal, though,
- 5:40Speaker 9: and this is what I want to get through to
- 5:42Speaker 9: you today. Moving forward while.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Under attack, new level, new devil.
- 5:52Speaker 9: You know, every time you go somewhere, every time you
- 5:55Speaker 9: try to progress, every time you make a decision to
- 5:57Speaker 9: be better, to do better, that's going to be a
- 6:00Speaker 9: confrontation you're going to have because it is the enemy's
- 6:03Speaker 9: job to not see.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You go forward, do better, want more, behave yourself.
- 6:10Speaker 9: There is a force that is operative out there that
- 6:13Speaker 9: has people working on his behalf twenty four to seven.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You got a computer, Go read a blog. Just go
- 6:20Speaker 1: read a blog.
- 6:21Speaker 9: They busy man not knowing, but just saying evil stuff constantly.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's the job. Well, here's what happens.
- 6:33Speaker 10: I you.
- 6:35Speaker 9: We have to always keep moving forward while we're under attack,
- 6:42Speaker 9: because the attack is going to always come. If you
- 6:47Speaker 9: allow the attackers to stop you, you will lose that
- 6:51Speaker 9: particular battle. And you cannot afford this.
- 6:55Speaker 10: You know.
- 6:55Speaker 9: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 6:59Speaker 9: to kick somebody off the letter, because you got to
- 7:02Speaker 9: take your foot off too, and you might slip. And
- 7:06Speaker 9: so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 7:09Speaker 9: most some of them may most the majority of them
- 7:10Speaker 9: mayn't even up own a ladder. They just at the
- 7:13Speaker 9: bottom throwing stuff up at you. They are just shaking
- 7:17Speaker 9: your ladder. They ain't even they ain't even on your level.
- 7:19Speaker 9: Really tell you the truth, they really not. You have
- 7:22Speaker 9: moved on far beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything, but they
- 7:27Speaker 9: are still shaking your ladder and attacking.
- 7:29Speaker 10: You.
- 7:30Speaker 9: Keep moving forward while under attack, because the attacks are
- 7:34Speaker 9: going to come. If you take the time to stop
- 7:36Speaker 9: and address it, you are impeding your own progress.
- 7:41Speaker 1: This is very important to understand.
- 7:44Speaker 9: Go on bout your business and remember Steve Harvey, and
- 7:48Speaker 9: remember those of you out there.
- 7:49Speaker 1: There is a Bible verse that helps me out every time.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And I don't know why.
- 7:54Speaker 9: I got it on six different plaques sitting all around
- 7:56Speaker 9: my offices. Everywhere I go, I can read it Isaiah
- 7:59Speaker 9: fit seventeen. No weapon formed against me shall prosper that
- 8:04Speaker 9: because this is that he will put me under his
- 8:07Speaker 9: wings or protection. And this is my inheritance as a
- 8:13Speaker 9: servant of the Lord period. I'm his boy, he my man,
- 8:18Speaker 9: so so dig so when you're coming for me, I
- 8:23Speaker 9: have to just rest on that Lord right there, that
- 8:25Speaker 9: he got it that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'm just like you.
- 8:30Speaker 9: Sometimes you know we know better, but sometimes we don't
- 8:33Speaker 9: do better. Man, let them say what they gonna say.
- 8:36Speaker 9: When they get through saying it, when they get through
- 8:39Speaker 9: writing it, when they get through talking about you, when
- 8:41Speaker 9: they get through lying about you. Guess what they're gonna
- 8:44Speaker 9: have to do. They're gonna have to step back and
- 8:46Speaker 9: watch your rise. They gonna have to kick back and
- 8:49Speaker 9: watch what God got for you, because nothing God got
- 8:52Speaker 9: for you. Can't nobody stop it. I don't care what
- 8:54Speaker 9: they do. Keep moving forward while under attack. Yo, something
- 9:01Speaker 9: I tell you something, man. Minister Lewis Fahirkhn taught me
- 9:05Speaker 9: something very important one day, he says, Steve, remember this.
- 9:09Speaker 1: He said.
- 9:10Speaker 9: It is a common thing for a dog to bark
- 9:15Speaker 9: up at the moon. But if the moon barks back
- 9:18Speaker 9: at the dog, the dog becomes famous.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You feel me, the moon was talking to you.
- 9:25Speaker 11: What did you?
- 9:26Speaker 1: How did the moon stop and talk to you?
- 9:29Speaker 9: Don't give them that. Let the dog bark up at
- 9:32Speaker 9: the moon. Don't you be up there? You go where
- 9:34Speaker 9: God got you going. Don't bark back at this dog
- 9:36Speaker 9: because the dog come famous because they ain't gonna be
- 9:38Speaker 9: able to get to you. But the dog is famous.
- 9:40Speaker 9: Now they want to interview the dog. Now the dog
- 9:42Speaker 9: guess what he gonna do? More barking? Guess what about you?
- 9:46Speaker 11: Man?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Go on about your business, y'all. God is in the
- 9:49Speaker 1: blessing business all day long.
- 9:51Speaker 9: Man, Go get in line, get you some get them
- 9:54Speaker 9: packages and boxes shipped to you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: They got your name on it.
- 9:57Speaker 12: You're listening hard morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:04Speaker 9: It's another day, another blessing, another opportunity, another chance.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Man.
- 10:10Speaker 9: God is good man. I told him that today all
- 10:13Speaker 9: I did was thank him today. I ain't even asked
- 10:15Speaker 9: for nothing today. I just thanked him all morning. Ain't
- 10:18Speaker 9: I didn't ask for nothing. I'm gonna ask for something
- 10:21Speaker 9: that's coming.
- 10:21Speaker 1: He know that for sure.
- 10:22Speaker 9: Ain't no need of me trying to play it, nothing
- 10:25Speaker 9: like that. No, he know I'm coming back. But this
- 10:27Speaker 9: morning I was just grateful. Man, Try it sometimes. Gratitude, man,
- 10:32Speaker 9: Fix your attitude. Man, Once you fix your attitude, that
- 10:34Speaker 9: changes your altitude. It's all tied together. This the tub business. Baby,
- 10:39Speaker 9: you just got to get into tube business. Gratitude, attitude, altitude.

- 28:22Speaker 9: you're gonna be telling me you don't never call and
- 28:24Speaker 9: check on me, you know, make up your mind.
- 28:26Speaker 14: Which man ever satisfied?
- 28:29Speaker 1: Yeah? You know what I mean?

- 29:34Speaker 16: Richard Rowntree in the wake of his death from pancreatic
- 29:37Speaker 16: cancer this week.
- 29:38Speaker 14: Samuel L.
- 29:39Speaker 16: Wrote, quote Richard Rowntree the prototype, the best to ever
- 29:42Speaker 16: do it. Shaft as we know it is and will
- 29:45Speaker 16: always be his creation. His passing leaves a deep hole
- 29:50Speaker 16: not only in my heart, but I'm sure a lot
- 29:52Speaker 16: of y'alls too. Samuel L. Starring starred alongside Richard Rowntree
- 29:57Speaker 16: and the two most recent Shaft movies, and actress Gabrielle
- 30:01Speaker 16: Union posted a tribute to Richard Browntree and talked about
- 30:04Speaker 16: her TV dad and the fun they had on the
- 30:06Speaker 16: set of the TV show Being Mary Jane, which ran
- 30:09Speaker 16: from twenty thirteen to twenty seventeen and we all loved
- 30:12Speaker 16: that show.
- 30:13Speaker 14: Gabrielle said in part.
- 30:14Speaker 16: He was always the coolest man in the room, with
- 30:17Speaker 16: the best vibes, and people would literally run over to
- 30:20Speaker 16: come see him. He was simply the best, and we
- 30:23Speaker 16: all loved him. Rest in peace, Richard Browntree.
- 30:28Speaker 1: That's a true statement about him. Man, when I tell it,
- 30:31Speaker 1: just cool that dude, man and just go. We played
- 30:37Speaker 1: golf of they cigarette the whole time. I burned.
- 30:43Speaker 14: He listened to the show too, he played.
- 30:46Speaker 1: He wasn't great, but it ain't none of us great.
- 30:48Speaker 7: He was a fan of.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I hear something brilliant. He's just a good dude. Many
- 30:54Speaker 1: good dude.
- 30:55Speaker 8: Man.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Wow, I thought.
- 30:58Speaker 14: He was eighty one. Yeah, but he was a fan
- 31:02Speaker 14: of the show.
- 31:03Speaker 3: A lot of celebrities. Yeah, I mean I just kept
- 31:07Speaker 3: seeing a celebrity.
- 31:08Speaker 15: Yeah, wow, legend.
- 31:11Speaker 14: Yep, it's cool.
- 31:12Speaker 9: You know I would rather you know, we got to
- 31:15Speaker 9: start giving our legends and stuff they flyers while they're
- 31:19Speaker 9: still living.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Man, We got to do more of that.
- 31:21Speaker 9: That's why I appreciate Byron Allis Grell Awards because he's
- 31:26Speaker 9: starting to do that. Man, with a lot of the
- 31:28Speaker 9: people out there, he's starting to recognize people while they
- 31:31Speaker 9: still living. You know, it's great you get these tributes
- 31:35Speaker 9: and stuff after they go, but you know, we got
- 31:38Speaker 9: to do a better job of taking care of each
- 31:40Speaker 9: other while they living. Weed to do more of that
- 31:42Speaker 9: on this show. We should have an uplift moment once
- 31:46Speaker 9: a week. I think we should come up with a
- 31:49Speaker 9: once a week thing where we honor somebody, just you know,
- 31:53Speaker 9: a shout out, nothing big, just a ninety second tribute.
- 31:56Speaker 1: To somebody, you know.
- 32:00Speaker 6: All right, And.
- 32:02Speaker 9: You know I didn't appreciate the look on your face

- 32:07Speaker 1: You know, like, it's just some more work you got
- 32:09Speaker 1: to do. We'll just get to doing it, damn it.
- 32:13Speaker 14: Anyway, We're gonna switch.
- 32:16Speaker 12: Of the day.
- 32:16Speaker 9: That's just attitude. That is what it is to you know,
- 32:20Speaker 9: I got time to come up with ideas. Then I
- 32:22Speaker 9: look at the zoom and somebody rolling their eyes and everything,
- 32:25Speaker 9: all that old eye rolling you lost, Harvey. Your eyes
- 32:31Speaker 9: can get back there and stay back there if you
- 32:33Speaker 9: do it again.
- 32:35Speaker 14: Are you gonna give Monica? Are you giving Monica her flowers?
- 32:39Speaker 6: No?
- 32:42Speaker 14: Not at this moment. All right, We're gonna switch gears here,
- 32:45Speaker 14: you know, surely?
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you need to be real careful, girl. You need
- 32:49Speaker 1: to be very.
- 32:50Speaker 14: Careful, are you? Are you putting your finger at me
- 32:53Speaker 14: right now?
- 32:55Speaker 9: Pulling my finger to this a damn threat with everybody

- 34:29Speaker 16: Everything should not be in word for the day out
- 34:33Speaker 16: of your mouth.
- 34:34Speaker 14: Uplift, uplift.
- 34:37Speaker 5: I was doing it.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I was doing it, but you know I also you know,
- 34:41Speaker 1: I have to forewarn catch.
- 34:43Speaker 11: You know.
- 34:43Speaker 9: It's like it's certain things I came by because of
- 34:46Speaker 9: my age. You know, it's like age appropriate skinny jeans.
- 34:52Speaker 9: You know you can't, you know, like your.
- 34:59Speaker 15: Age, you pretty much rock anything.
- 35:02Speaker 14: Yeah, I've seen plenty of men in your agents.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I rock anything because I don't rock everything.
- 35:08Speaker 14: Oh deep, That's how I was.
- 35:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 35:12Speaker 9: See, you gotta be careful, and I put it on
- 35:15Speaker 9: a lot of variations, but I'm selective of them. Very
- 35:18Speaker 9: It's a lot of stuff they making out there, man,
- 35:21Speaker 9: that Ellie be coming to me with and I'll be going, boy,
- 35:25Speaker 9: get your ass somewhere and sit down. First of all,
- 35:27Speaker 9: I'm sixty six. It's just some stuff that's look like Winton.
- 35:32Speaker 9: I was with Winton one day. Winton had on the top.
- 35:34Speaker 9: The other day that was crochet and it cut right
- 35:37Speaker 9: off at the belt. I put that thing on. I
- 35:39Speaker 9: looked like one of the biggest new pronouns. Ain't no
- 35:42Speaker 9: what y'all have called me. I just yeah, their stomach.
- 35:46Speaker 9: God damn, I said, Winton had on the top. Now
- 35:52Speaker 9: I can't rock. That's what you ain't got to visualize nothing.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I just told it to you.
- 36:00Speaker 10: Go.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 36:01Speaker 6: In twent.
- 36:04Speaker 16: Yesterday, Donald Trump at a temperature and stantrum and stormed
- 36:08Speaker 16: out of his civil trial in Manhattan.
- 36:09Speaker 14: We'll talk about that right after this.
- 36:12Speaker 12: You're listening Hard Morning show.
- 36:15Speaker 14: Donald Trump threw.
- 36:16Speaker 16: His hands up and said I'm leaving as he stormed
- 36:19Speaker 16: out of his two hundred and fifty million dollar New
- 36:21Speaker 16: York fraud trial Wednesday. This was shortly after judge fined
- 36:25Speaker 16: him ten thousand dollars for violating his gag order YEP,
- 36:29Speaker 16: and then rejected a defense attorney's bid for a verdict
- 36:32Speaker 16: in Trump's favor. His own secret Secret Service agents were
- 36:36Speaker 16: seen chasing after him. According to NBC News, Trump left
- 36:40Speaker 16: while Michael Cohen, his former personal attorney, who was a
- 36:44Speaker 16: star witness against him in the case, was still on
- 36:46Speaker 16: the stand. Cohen testified that while Trump did not explicitly
- 36:50Speaker 16: tell him to inflate the numbers, he communicated the outcome
- 36:54Speaker 16: he wanted. The lawsuit allegis that the former president, with
- 36:57Speaker 16: the help of his adult children and execs I can
- 37:00Speaker 16: have mentioned in the filing, falsely inflated his net worth
- 37:04Speaker 16: by billions of dollars in an effort to influence to
- 37:08Speaker 16: induce banks to lend money to the Trump organization on
- 37:11Speaker 16: more favorable terms, and to obtain either economic and tax
- 37:16Speaker 16: benefits other economic and tax benefits.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It's coming what you think?
- 37:24Speaker 9: Yeah, this right here. See they could see they got
- 37:26Speaker 9: real info. This ain't bout know what nobody thought. This
- 37:29Speaker 9: ain't this, ain't this ain't nobody interpreting what he.
- 37:34Speaker 7: This?
- 37:34Speaker 9: This ain't nobody talking about. Did he send them down
- 37:36Speaker 9: there to the Capitol building? This ain't How did he
- 37:40Speaker 9: say that?
- 37:41Speaker 1: What was he?
- 37:41Speaker 9: Now? With this paperwork? Pardner evidence, this is real paperwork.
- 37:46Speaker 9: That's fraudulent. You cannot do this.
- 37:49Speaker 14: But he got mad though, and walked out. Yeah, you're
- 37:55Speaker 14: no longer the president.
- 37:56Speaker 9: A but this is cot This ain't how this work. Yeah,
- 38:03Speaker 9: I don't want to hear this no more. You know
- 38:04Speaker 9: how the times I want to say that to a judge.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Court bru But that's his sense of entitlement, that's his
- 38:19Speaker 1: white privilege. Have you ever ever in.
- 38:23Speaker 9: Your whole life heard of a story of one black
- 38:26Speaker 9: man just storming out the courthouse. Now, I've seen him
- 38:30Speaker 9: break and run, but never like flip the judge off
- 38:36Speaker 9: and walk out, button up your coat.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Now, I've seen bruhs dive trying to escape.
- 38:44Speaker 9: I've seen that, But you ain't ever seen a black
- 38:47Speaker 9: dude man get up and store them out the court.
- 38:49Speaker 1: That disrespectful thing right there.
- 38:52Speaker 6: Yeah, this is gonna be good.
- 38:54Speaker 16: I was reading somewhere where he wanted the judge to
- 38:58Speaker 16: rule in his favor, and the judge no, because there
- 39:00Speaker 16: was enough evidence to fill up the courtroom.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I think this, I said, is that much evidence, It's.
- 39:08Speaker 12: The entire courtroom.
- 39:09Speaker 16: Come into a courtroom near you stay to say, all right,
- 39:14Speaker 16: coming up next, Well, check Steve's voicemail at eight seven
- 39:17Speaker 16: seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this, you're listening Hardy
- 39:22Speaker 16: Morning Show. It is time now to check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:26Speaker 16: You can call him eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve
- 39:29Speaker 16: and leave a message and you just might hear your
- 39:32Speaker 16: call on the air. You ready, Steve. Okay, Now this
- 39:36Speaker 16: lady h that's on the phone right now. She's sick
- 39:39Speaker 16: of how you and Tommy treat Junior, she says, and
- 39:41Speaker 16: she's really upset with you, guys.
- 39:43Speaker 14: Take a listen you good morning.
- 39:46Speaker 4: It is definitely wise that you guys don't take life calls.
- 39:50Speaker 7: You know.
- 39:51Speaker 10: I am so fed up with you, Steve and.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Tommy the way you look down and talk down on Junior.
- 39:57Speaker 4: And I know that it has to do with money.
- 40:00Speaker 4: If he had as much money as you guys have,
- 40:02Speaker 4: or more shows, you guys would talk to him differently.
- 40:07Speaker 4: But your disdain for him really shows. The jokes that
- 40:13Speaker 4: Junior said today was actually very funny. Junior is hilarious.
- 40:18Speaker 5: He is always in the background.
- 40:20Speaker 4: He is very funny, and out of the three of y'all,
- 40:23Speaker 4: I think that he's the funniest. But the joke that
- 40:26Speaker 4: he said today when he asked where was Kirk's dad?
- 40:28Speaker 4: That was actually funny, And it's funny how you try
- 40:33Speaker 4: to say, oh, he comes to my ranch and I
- 40:35Speaker 4: don't even ask about his dad. But when you were
- 40:39Speaker 4: but when Kirk Franklin was on your show and he
- 40:43Speaker 4: was pouring out his frustration, you were cracking jokes about
- 40:47Speaker 4: his dad, about being his dad at an inappropriate time.
- 40:51Speaker 4: So you're a hypocrite as usual. You find any way
- 40:55Speaker 4: you can to look down on Junior, and he needs
- 40:57Speaker 4: to stop. Junior, I hope you're the best, and I
- 40:59Speaker 4: hope that you get around a group of people that
- 41:02Speaker 4: really appreciate your work.
- 41:04Speaker 9: You know what, lady, You know what, lady, you don't
- 41:07Speaker 9: even understand the relationship we have here, and you know
- 41:10Speaker 9: understand your anger. I appreciate you defending him and all
- 41:13Speaker 9: this here, but you done took a whole bunch of
- 41:15Speaker 9: stuff and just lined it up to your line of thinking.
- 41:19Speaker 9: First of all, First of all, Tommy and I are
- 41:23Speaker 9: pledging Junior. That's all this is. This is a pecking
- 41:29Speaker 9: order of the male species. I don't expect you to
- 41:33Speaker 9: understand that. But Tommy, being a nupe and I being
- 41:36Speaker 9: a Q we understand that Junior understand that, and you
- 41:40Speaker 9: sit up here, you talk to him different. If he
- 41:42Speaker 9: had as much money and shows, probably would, but he don't,
- 41:46Speaker 9: so damn it.
- 41:48Speaker 14: No no no no no no no no no no
- 41:50Speaker 14: no no no.
- 41:51Speaker 9: See I like giving the people what they won't you
- 41:53Speaker 9: prove now, but see but right here, though, that what
- 41:57Speaker 9: you're saying, lady, you've taking some clips to justify your hatred.
- 42:04Speaker 9: You know, I'm a hypocrite and all that said, I
- 42:06Speaker 9: don't see I don't even listen to people. Do you
- 42:09Speaker 9: think Junior is the funniest one on the show? Comedy
- 42:13Speaker 9: is subjective.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You have that right to feel.
- 42:17Speaker 9: It's people that think that the funniest comedian in the
- 42:20Speaker 9: world is Earthquake. It's people who think it's Dave Chappelle.
- 42:23Speaker 9: The's people who think it's Kevin Hall. That's the way
- 42:25Speaker 9: life goes. But for you to call in here and
- 42:29Speaker 9: try to create this sension. And then when Kirk Franklin
- 42:33Speaker 9: called in, I was telling jokes about his daddy. I
- 42:35Speaker 9: don't know what show you was listening to. I don't
- 42:39Speaker 9: know what show you was listening to. But you want
- 42:41Speaker 9: of those people where you want to prove a point.
- 42:43Speaker 9: What's wrong lady, you.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Say, I'll tell you what. Let's do this. But damn it,
- 42:49Speaker 1: the jokes got to be about somebody and tag Junior
- 42:57Speaker 1: be it. Sometimes sometimes it's Tommy, sometime me. It used
- 43:02Speaker 1: to always be me.
- 43:03Speaker 3: I think it's all of us.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I think it's just us.
- 43:06Speaker 14: It's just everybody.
- 43:07Speaker 3: All of us get it. I mean all of us do.
- 43:10Speaker 3: And I understand, you know, uncle like family. You just
- 43:13Speaker 3: did me this morning. Did I get Mader?
- 43:15Speaker 10: Did?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Yeah? Tell her what I did to you this morning? Junior?
- 43:20Speaker 3: Okay, what he did was you know, he introduced me
- 43:22Speaker 3: and he said kid Junior space.
- 43:24Speaker 13: He said, but they got a new nagging for nick,
- 43:25Speaker 13: nag for him. I said, HBCU, that's his new nickname.
- 43:28Speaker 13: I said, okay, I'm thinking prayer of you.
- 43:30Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking.
- 43:32Speaker 13: Then Carla said, hey, that's not HBCU as in prayer
- 43:35Speaker 13: of you.
- 43:35Speaker 1: What does that mean? And you said, have.
- 43:38Speaker 13: Back seeing you. I thought that was a brilliant. I
- 43:42Speaker 13: thought that was incredible. My headline is back here see you.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Like it's done.
- 43:47Speaker 5: And she ain't.
- 43:49Speaker 9: On the radio when Junior is dogging me because of
- 43:54Speaker 9: my lack of technology, I ain't.
- 43:59Speaker 1: But you know, we'll be back. I want to talk
- 44:02Speaker 1: to her just a little bit more when I come back.
- 44:04Speaker 14: Thanks for your calls though, and we have a prank
- 44:06Speaker 14: phone call coming out.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Thank you for a damn.
- 44:10Speaker 14: Saying thank you.
- 44:12Speaker 1: We didn't me and Tommy didn't.
- 44:14Speaker 14: You're here, ma'am.
- 44:16Speaker 12: You're listening morning show, all right, Steve.
- 44:21Speaker 16: Right before we get to the prank phone call and
- 44:22Speaker 16: the strawberry letter, you wanted to say something in response
- 44:26Speaker 16: to a caller we had earlier.
- 44:27Speaker 9: You know, the lady called in and was complaining about
- 44:29Speaker 9: the way me and Tommy treat Junior. I don't know
- 44:32Speaker 9: what to tell you, lady, but you know, hanging now,
- 44:35Speaker 9: appreciate your call.
- 44:38Speaker 14: Yeah, thanks for calling, Thanks for listening.
- 44:40Speaker 9: Were not we not fitting to change a damn thing?
- 44:44Speaker 9: And appreciate you. And you know, Junior the youngest one
- 44:47Speaker 9: on the show, Junior, youngest one in comedy.
- 44:50Speaker 1: You know, youngest one just got married. Yeah, so what
- 44:54Speaker 1: you want to do? What he know mode in us?
- 44:59Speaker 2: Is this helping?
- 45:00Speaker 14: Is this helping at all?
- 45:01Speaker 17: But I wouldn't probably be. We're probably being hypocritical right now.
- 45:04Speaker 17: Probably I'm really not trying to help.
- 45:10Speaker 14: Please, Okay, okay, Junior, are you okay? No, hell, no
- 45:16Speaker 14: you met and Steven telling me mad with her.
- 45:18Speaker 1: With the did you die here?
- 45:20Speaker 10: Her?
- 45:22Speaker 3: Hell, I've been trade.
- 45:24Speaker 1: On my fan like that, saying.
- 45:31Speaker 17: She wants you to get around a different group of people, Julian,
- 45:35Speaker 17: she wants you to quit.
- 45:36Speaker 9: She wants to get around another group of people. You
- 45:38Speaker 9: can be on the White Show and they'll treat you way.
- 45:40Speaker 13: But no, man, tell you something, man, Jesus jokes. We
- 45:45Speaker 13: do jokes all day long on this show.
- 45:47Speaker 3: That's all we do.
- 45:48Speaker 19: I'm being strong, backbone up and over here for sure.
- 45:54Speaker 19: We're moving on to the print. Please.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Can I borrow your freezer? Can I borrow your freedom?
- 46:04Speaker 1: All right?
- 46:05Speaker 2: The cable TV?
- 46:07Speaker 17: Hey, hey, hey, hey, I got a dead person over here.
- 46:09Speaker 17: I need a freezer. Okay, thank you, let's go.
- 46:12Speaker 20: Okay, yeah, Light Equipment?
- 46:17Speaker 4: Does this train on? How can I help you?
- 46:18Speaker 10: I'm trying to reach Dale. Dale is the manager? Right?
- 46:22Speaker 5: Yes?
- 46:22Speaker 20: Dale is the manager?
- 46:23Speaker 4: How can I help you?
- 46:25Speaker 11: Okay?
- 46:25Speaker 10: Is Dale available?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Is he there?
- 46:27Speaker 20: He's actually with a customer.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Is there something that I can help you with? Or

- 46:53Speaker 10: to do. What I'm trying to do is, uh, I've
- 46:57Speaker 10: run out of freezer space, and I'm trying to see
- 47:00Speaker 10: if possibly, you know, my back is up against the
- 47:02Speaker 10: wall right now. I'm trying to see if I can
- 47:04Speaker 10: possibly put something in one of you all's freezers for
- 47:08Speaker 10: a couple of days until I get freed up on
- 47:11Speaker 10: this end. So that's why I wanted to see if

- 47:16Speaker 10: Is that possible, sir?
- 47:18Speaker 4: Sorry, I'm a little confused. Don't want to buy a freezer.

- 47:27Speaker 10: of days because I have a freezer, but mine is

- 47:34Speaker 10: a couple of days, and then I'll come back and
- 47:36Speaker 10: get it.

- 47:38Speaker 10: We don't do that.

- 49:41Speaker 10: me a little love on this look.
- 49:43Speaker 5: I guess it comes back. It depends on what do
- 49:45Speaker 5: you need? How much how much do you have do
- 49:47Speaker 5: you need frozen?
- 49:48Speaker 11: I mean, I don't even know what you.
- 49:50Speaker 10: Well, well, I got three bodies that I need to
- 49:53Speaker 10: get to keep, you know, to keep frozen man. That
- 49:56Speaker 10: you know we run a mortuary over here. This is
- 49:58Speaker 10: both mining rim. Yeah, we gotta need three people bodies. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:03Speaker 10: we got three bodies that and like I said, my
- 50:05Speaker 10: my freezer is full.
- 50:07Speaker 11: Man.
- 50:07Speaker 10: But in a couple of days, you know, these bodies,
- 50:10Speaker 10: you know, the funerals would have happened, so we'll be
- 50:12Speaker 10: freed up, you know. But right now, I got I
- 50:14Speaker 10: got three bodies coming in to day that I got
- 50:17Speaker 10: to get in the freezer.
- 50:18Speaker 5: Are you crazy? Are your mind?
- 50:22Speaker 10: No? No, no, I'm dead serious. I'm dead serious, bro.
- 50:25Speaker 10: So like I said, you can't highly recommend it, you know.
- 50:28Speaker 10: And I'm just trying to get somebody to show me.
- 50:29Speaker 11: Your little love.
- 50:30Speaker 7: Man.
- 50:30Speaker 10: You got those freezers, you don't have nothing in them,
- 50:32Speaker 10: you know, I just need it for a couple of days.
- 50:35Speaker 5: You got to be out of your mind. We're not
- 50:36Speaker 5: talking about ice. This isn't chicken wings or a port shoulder.
- 50:40Speaker 10: He's as evil. You are out of your mind, man,
- 50:44Speaker 10: But but listen to me. Dale listen to what I'm
- 50:46Speaker 10: You understand how serious this is. I have to keep
- 50:49Speaker 10: them frozen. That's the reason why I'm calling. I mean,
- 50:52Speaker 10: your help, man.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I understand that. Look, if you want to, I'll
- 50:56Speaker 5: have you come in. Can buy your own freezer. You
- 50:58Speaker 5: can put your own bodies in your own freezer. How
- 51:00Speaker 5: much supposed to show off my showroom with frozen bodies
- 51:04Speaker 5: in the freezer.
- 51:05Speaker 10: But just don't. Just don't show that one for a
- 51:07Speaker 10: couple of days, you know what I'm saying, don't just
- 51:10Speaker 10: don't show it all. We'll just you know what, you
- 51:12Speaker 10: know here we could do. We could put the bodies
- 51:14Speaker 10: in there, just cover them up, and people don't want
- 51:16Speaker 10: to know what it is.
- 51:17Speaker 5: Yeah, and then I get a buyer that comes in
- 51:19Speaker 5: and the cover falls off it and I got a
- 51:21Speaker 5: brozen dead body in my freezer. Is that even legal?
- 51:24Speaker 6: I don't know. Man.
- 51:25Speaker 10: All I'm saying is, here's the deal.
- 51:27Speaker 5: Man.
- 51:28Speaker 10: You can't highly recommend it. They told me that you
- 51:30Speaker 10: would probably show me some love. I'm actually, you know,
- 51:33Speaker 10: getting ready to load up and come your way.
- 51:36Speaker 5: Dude, you can't those dead bodies away from my store.
- 51:40Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, I can't hook.
- 51:42Speaker 10: You up on this one, all right, I just can't
- 51:44Speaker 10: do it, okay, But we shouldn't load up and come
- 51:47Speaker 10: that weight though.
- 51:47Speaker 11: Man.
- 51:48Speaker 10: So you know what I'm saying, it's I mean, what
- 51:51Speaker 10: am I supposed to do?
- 51:52Speaker 5: I have no you know what? You want to come
- 51:54Speaker 5: talk to me. You want to buy a freezer for
- 51:56Speaker 5: yourself and you want to freeze your dead bodies on
- 51:59Speaker 5: your own.
- 52:00Speaker 11: Don't care.
- 52:00Speaker 5: I'll tell you a freezer. I got no problem with
- 52:02Speaker 5: telling you a freezer. But you're not bringing the bodies here.
- 52:05Speaker 5: It's just not happening.
- 52:07Speaker 10: So if Alonzo, if Alonzo calls you and green lights
- 52:12Speaker 10: it is it okay, then I highly doubt.
- 52:15Speaker 5: Alonzo's gonna call me and tell me to put treat
- 52:17Speaker 5: a body and wait on our showroom for a freezer.
- 52:22Speaker 5: I made out that.
- 52:24Speaker 11: Okay, okay, but but but guess what Alonzo told me?
- 52:28Speaker 5: What are the lines I'm telling you?
- 52:30Speaker 10: Alonzo told me to give you a call. He told
- 52:33Speaker 10: me to give you a point phone call. This is
- 52:36Speaker 10: not from the Steve Hawfin Morning Show.
- 52:39Speaker 5: Come on, are you serious? Just uh a ball? I'm
- 52:45Speaker 5: having my checkter.
- 52:48Speaker 10: Oh oh geez, that guy, Oh you just you just
- 52:52Speaker 10: got franked. By your gm baby.
- 52:53Speaker 11: That's what happening right here.
- 52:57Speaker 10: All right, man, give me one more thing. You gotta
- 52:59Speaker 10: tell me that right here, Dale, What is the bad
- 53:02Speaker 10: is that I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 53:04Speaker 10: the land.

- 53:47Speaker 11: You never know.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 53:51Speaker 14: It is Berby Letter, Thank your nephew, subject who Cares
- 53:55Speaker 14: if his Auntie hears us?
- 53:56Speaker 16: Here Stephen Shirley, I'm forty four years old and my
- 53:59Speaker 16: husband is forty five. We live in a duplex that
- 54:02Speaker 16: he owned before we got married, and his aunt is
- 54:05Speaker 16: renting the other half. The units are the same, so
- 54:08Speaker 16: our living room wall is on her living room wall
- 54:11Speaker 16: and our bedroom wall is on her bedroom wall. Our
- 54:14Speaker 16: upstairs balcony overlooks her upstairs balcony, so we basically have
- 54:19Speaker 16: no privacy. We even share a garage with her and
- 54:22Speaker 16: a backyard. We need the extra income from renting it out,
- 54:26Speaker 16: and we figured it would be better to rent to
- 54:28Speaker 16: his aunt than some stranger. But living next to this
- 54:31Speaker 16: woman is far worse than living next to a stranger.
- 54:35Speaker 16: All his aunt likes to do is read books and
- 54:37Speaker 16: she listens to classical music.
- 54:39Speaker 14: She talks softly and hates noise.
- 54:42Speaker 16: She does not like it when I fry bacon, Burger's
- 54:45Speaker 16: fish or chicken, because she said.
- 54:47Speaker 14: She can smell it all over her house.
- 54:50Speaker 16: That's not the half of it, though, because her main
- 54:53Speaker 16: issue is how noisy my husband and I are. I
- 54:56Speaker 16: talk loud, and I laugh loud. I'm from South Georgia,
- 55:00Speaker 16: and I sound like my daddy when I laugh. My
- 55:02Speaker 16: husband loved my laugh until his auntie started complaining about it.
- 55:06Speaker 16: He also used to love trash talking in the bedroom,
- 55:09Speaker 16: but his auntie shut all of that down too. I
- 55:13Speaker 16: can't yell at him from another room without his auntie
- 55:15Speaker 16: tapping the wall to make me stop. His auntie is
- 55:18Speaker 16: sixty years old, and I wish there was a decent
- 55:21Speaker 16: brother I could hook her up with so she could
- 55:23Speaker 16: make some noise in her house too. I told her
- 55:25Speaker 16: to turn up her classical music or listen to rap
- 55:28Speaker 16: music because I refuse to whisper and whimper during sex.
- 55:33Speaker 16: I don't care what Auntie hears, but my husband covers
- 55:36Speaker 16: my mouth during sex.
- 55:38Speaker 14: Why is he letting her control.
- 55:39Speaker 16: What we do in our home? I guess because it's
- 55:44Speaker 16: his auntie and she's older. I mean, I could see
- 55:47Speaker 16: if it was his mom. But I'm with you, who cares?
- 55:50Speaker 16: I mean, Auntie is.
- 55:51Speaker 14: Being ridiculous in this whole situation, and.
- 55:54Speaker 16: Your husband has given her too much power and say,
- 55:56Speaker 16: in this situation, she's only the boss at her house,
- 56:00Speaker 16: not yours.
- 56:01Speaker 14: And are you guys making that much noise?
- 56:04Speaker 10: Though?
- 56:04Speaker 16: I had to ask you that because I know you
- 56:06Speaker 16: said your husband had to cover your mouth during sex,
- 56:09Speaker 16: But really, though, how much tolerant are you.
- 56:11Speaker 14: Doing over there?
- 56:13Speaker 16: And your walls must be really thin or does Auntie
- 56:16Speaker 16: have her ear to the door or something. I think
- 56:18Speaker 16: she's nosy and rude and entitled, and she needs to
- 56:22Speaker 16: stay out of your business, because what does she expect
- 56:25Speaker 16: you to do? Being in the privacy of your own home.
- 56:28Speaker 16: You have to whisper and stuff.
- 56:30Speaker 14: She expects that.
- 56:31Speaker 16: Come on, now, she's a medler. She's just a meddler,
- 56:37Speaker 16: you guys, and by you guys, I mean her nephew,
- 56:39Speaker 16: your husband. You guys have to respectfully let her know
- 56:42Speaker 16: and know in certain terms as she's overstepping, knocking on
- 56:45Speaker 16: the wall and all of that, or else she'll just
- 56:48Speaker 16: keep doing what she's doing, meddling. I wish you could
- 56:51Speaker 16: introduce her to a nice man too. That would probably
- 56:54Speaker 16: solve a lot of her problems. She wouldn't have time
- 56:56Speaker 16: to worry about what's going down in your bedroom. So
- 56:59Speaker 16: for now, I say, get her some headphones, or threatened
- 57:02Speaker 16: to raise her rent or you know, put her out
- 57:05Speaker 16: or something. I think maybe she'll come around after you
- 57:07Speaker 16: do that.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Steve, Well, you know.
- 57:15Speaker 9: What we're gonna have to do is we're gonna have
- 57:18Speaker 9: to sit Auntie down. That's what this looks like is
- 57:22Speaker 9: coming to right here. See this couple is. She's forty four,
- 57:25Speaker 9: her husband's forty five. They live in a duplex, and
- 57:30Speaker 9: in this duplex they renting out the other half.
- 57:35Speaker 1: The units are the same.
- 57:39Speaker 9: So our living room wall is her living room wall,
- 57:42Speaker 9: and our bedroom wall is her bedroom wall.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Lord hemnurs two of the lotest rooms in the house.
- 57:55Speaker 9: Boy, you're looking at their bathroom wall. Ain't over there,
- 58:00Speaker 9: y'all'll just be it'll be this letter of a damn
- 58:03Speaker 9: it be about suicide. Our upstairs balcony overlooks her upstairs balcony,
- 58:10Speaker 9: so we basically have no privacy. We even share garage
- 58:15Speaker 9: with her in the backyard. There's too much damn share it. Man,
- 58:21Speaker 9: the balcony right next to each other. Y'all stay at
- 58:23Speaker 9: a hotel. And then y'all's bedroom wall is against her
- 58:28Speaker 9: bedroom wall, and living room walls against living room wall.
- 58:31Speaker 9: So now y'all can't do nothing. Here's the letter for
- 58:34Speaker 9: the whole thing. The title of this letter is who
- 58:37Speaker 9: cares what the auntie? He is right, and all she
- 58:41Speaker 9: do is listen to classic music and read books. That's nice.
- 58:46Speaker 1: She talks softly. She hates noise.
- 58:51Speaker 9: Okay, she don't like it when I fry bacon burgers,
- 58:56Speaker 9: fish or chicken, because she says she can smell it
- 59:00Speaker 9: all over her house.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Now she sayd that ain't the half of it though.
- 59:06Speaker 9: See, I'm just building this story because my answer is
- 59:09Speaker 9: gonna be on the second half when we come back.
- 59:11Speaker 9: So please don't go wait, because I'm gonna explain to
- 59:14Speaker 9: you a lot of this stuff. I'm just going through
- 59:16Speaker 9: the left. I talk loud, and I laugh loud. I'm
- 59:20Speaker 9: from South Georgia, and I sound like.
- 59:21Speaker 1: My dad.
- 59:31Speaker 14: Loud, so loud.
- 59:35Speaker 9: That's how my daddy laughs. So that's how she laughed.
- 59:39Speaker 9: Hell for you got the tone with some of this,
- 59:48Speaker 9: see right there. And then my Hussan used to love
- 59:52Speaker 9: and laugh till the anstar complained about it. And he
- 59:55Speaker 9: used to love talking trash in the bedroom. But his
- 59:57Speaker 9: auntie didn't shut all that down too.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I can't yet.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: I let him from another room while her stopping me.
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: He knocking on the walls. His auntie is sixty years old.
- 1:00:06Speaker 16: All right, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of
- 1:00:08Speaker 16: your response coming up. At twenty three minutes after the hour. Today,
- 1:00:12Speaker 16: Strawberry letters subject who cares if his auntie hears us?
- 1:00:15Speaker 16: Right after this, you're listening Steve.
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:20Speaker 14: All right, come on, Steve.
- 1:00:21Speaker 16: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is who cares
- 1:00:25Speaker 16: if his auntie hears us?
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: This couple forty and forty four and forty five and
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: rented out. They duplex right next door to shares.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: A common wall.
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: In the duplex, the bathroom, I mean, the bedroom is
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: shed wall. In the living room has a shed wall.
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: So the lady sixty years old, she listened to classical
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: music and she read all the time. And the lady
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: in the house she laughed. Now she don't like her laugh.
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: Now.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: Her husband used to love her laugh because she laughed
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: like her daddy. She from South Georgia, and so now
- 1:00:52Speaker 9: she don't like the way she laughs. She complained about that.
- 1:00:55Speaker 15: God, nothing wrong gave here, somebody stopped me.
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: Okay, see, she don't want to hear that coming from you. Lady,
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: you laugh like your daddy because you're all from South Georgia.
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: She don't like the way the house smell when you
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: find bacon, fish or burgers, she complained. She don't want
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: to hear this noise from the bedroom. Now your husband
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: is covering your mouth doing sex. So now what I
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: have to do is offer you a suggestion for how
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: you fix this here. First of all, like I said
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: before we left, you got to change people you rent to.
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: You have to fish. You have to wrench your duplex
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: to a fat person. See you got big people come
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: with certain qualities. That's wonderful. Like the next time you
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: find fish, bacon and burgers, what fat person you know
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: gonna complain? No, Now you're gonna have to make an
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: extra plate for him, but at least there won't be
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: no complaining. Then you need a fat person for when
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: you do go upstairs to your bedroom and y'all having
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: all that loud six, you ain't got to worry about
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: him because he ain't gonna make that trip up them steps.
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: He's big ass, gonna sleep on that couch most nights
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: because fat people don't like steps. So you know, like
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: take me, for example, my big fat wheeze and ass
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: when I go up steps. You know I remember that
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: like that, so I have to do that. So I
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: have experience with being fat person, so you know you
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: won't to do that. So how you you gotta rich
- 1:02:36Speaker 9: no place out to a fat person. See that way
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: you don't have this trouble now let's get down to
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: your real problem. Your husband used to like talking trash
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: when y'allays having six. Now he don't want to do
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: that no more because she done heard that too. Oh
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: and one other thing you Since she only like listening
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: to classical music and reading, you suggested that she uh
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: start listening to rapp That's not going to happen. People
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: don't go from classical to raptor because and she's sixty,
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: but she's an old lass sixty do see I'm sixty six.
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: I'll be in there, girl, show can't cook. If I
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: was your neighbor, say, I'll be saying stuff like that.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: You know, I'll be over there being more encouraging. Now,
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: here's what your problem is. When y'all in the bedroom,
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: you're saying that your husband covers your mouth doing.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Sex, You making statements. You can't say stuff.
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: You can't say that, lady, he want to cover your
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: mouth because you make it sound like it's abuse right here.
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: You know, you know you can't hol out stuff like
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: treat me like a trick. You can't say that because
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: it's just too much information. But she can't say, I'm
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: telling that's why he covered her mouth. It's cause of
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: what she's saying. She saying like, you thank it then, Spanky, you.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Can't say that you thank you then, Spanky.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: You know that right there that he trying to cover
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: your mouth.
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: You know you can't do that because it's too much
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: that's going out, and that's right to you know, come
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: to me where the monkey is that? See right there,
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: she didn't have to know nothing about these monkeys you
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: in here hollering out bad stuff like that.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Cut the camera off that. See, she didn't need to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: know that.
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: You can't say stuff like oops, I slipped. You know
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: you can't you know, damn you out of baby all again.
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: You know, all this here stuff right here, you're saying
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: stuff that that she don't need to hear about it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: And now this is his aunt. So now his aunt
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: is asking a question. Uh uh uh uh Bland, don't
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: you you ran out baby on that?
- 1:05:00Speaker 14: Rolando?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: Oh oh you dead righton? He forty four. He probably
- 1:05:06Speaker 9: got a Spanish nat suave. Yeah, that's what black blacks
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: did go through this period where we was giving our
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: kids Latin names. You know, we just lost our mind.
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: That Don Shelley wan and all this hill Don Shelley
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: Wan so I think that's what's happened. Baby, You're gonna
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: have to tone down some of the stuff you're saying,
- 1:05:34Speaker 9: you know, you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 14: Know, not the fact that she's loud, but what she saying.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: Yeah, it's just what you're saying. And then when you
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: put volume on it, it just makes it worse. Any subject.

- 1:07:44Speaker 1: I'm shocked at you.
- 1:07:45Speaker 13: If I did lie, if I did if you did lie. Okay,
- 1:07:49Speaker 13: now for twelve years I sat by a lie.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: How do you think I learned it?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: He said, by what a lawyer? You said?
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: You know if you lie you yeah? But dog, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 9: but see, I'm see you. I'm an admitted line because
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: you're lying about lying, but you didn't denial therapy.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: No, I can't admit. I can't me in to the
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: lie this break.
- 1:08:15Speaker 11: No no no, no, no no no.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: You must admit to the lie on every break. That's
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: the that's the key to line union something. You can't
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: admit to the lie on this break when you gonna
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: do it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: The next break.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: When we just saying I'm good at this at all.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: We're just saying thank you to Dusty for his service.
- 1:08:37Speaker 13: And when we were to meaning from the city of
- 1:08:38Speaker 13: Houston City, Houston had a black manager as the baseball team,
- 1:08:42Speaker 13: we had a black head coach in football, and we
- 1:08:44Speaker 13: had a black head coach in basketball. Never thought you'd
- 1:08:46Speaker 13: see that in that city and were glad to have
- 1:08:48Speaker 13: just yeah and black men, and were glad to have
- 1:08:51Speaker 13: that from Dusty Man.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: So there it is.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: But I did not say anything against Dusty. That's what
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: I will not admit to you.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: I did not do that.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: And Joelo Man go ahead, no damn reason at all.
- 1:09:16Speaker 14: Thank you, Jun You're coming up at the top of
- 1:09:18Speaker 14: the hour.
- 1:09:18Speaker 16: A guy on social media, Steve needs some advice on
- 1:09:21Speaker 16: paying for his daughter's college education.
- 1:09:23Speaker 14: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:26Speaker 12: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:31Speaker 16: All right, Steve Victor on Steve Harvey FM, rights, I
- 1:09:34Speaker 16: have an idea that can help put our daughter through
- 1:09:36Speaker 16: college and teach her some financial responsibility.
- 1:09:40Speaker 14: My wife and I have taken.
- 1:09:41Speaker 16: Care of her first two years of school and have
- 1:09:44Speaker 16: been talking about what to do about the second half.
- 1:09:47Speaker 16: I say we take out a home equity line of
- 1:09:49Speaker 16: credit and offer to pay it as a loan to
- 1:09:52Speaker 16: her at no interest, under the condition that our kids
- 1:09:56Speaker 16: signs a contract committing to pay us back to two
- 1:10:00Speaker 16: hundred and fifty dollars a month until it's paid off. Yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 16: we'll lose money on the line of credit interest, but
- 1:10:06Speaker 16: this is about the kid. If she misses a payment,
- 1:10:10Speaker 16: she then has to pay us back the two hundred
- 1:10:12Speaker 16: and fifty each month, plus the interest throughout the loan.
- 1:10:16Speaker 16: My wife thinks this is a cruel idea, and she
- 1:10:20Speaker 16: wants to just pay for it all. Is there a
- 1:10:22Speaker 16: middle ground here?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: That's what Well? I don't think it is.
- 1:10:26Speaker 14: Victor wants to.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: You know, I don't think it is. Here's a deal, victory.
- 1:10:29Speaker 9: I think man, that if you have your daughter sign
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: this agreement and she not gonna pay it, she gonna
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: miss a payment, and then what you're gonna do. She
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: gonna come in there and go, Daddy, I can't make
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: all these payments in these bills, and then your wife
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: gonna come back to you again. You don't pay for
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: the two, man, Just go and pay them two. Then
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: cut our hands off. This is the life we got,
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: all of us on this show faced with that same thing. Bruh,
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: Just gone pay it, man. I know you're trying to
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: teach you a lesson and everything, but the problem we
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: have is when after we become successful, our whole goal
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: was to give our children a better shot of life
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: than we had. That was our whole goal, and in
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: doing that we created a generation of enablers. We've created
- 1:11:15Speaker 9: a generation of they just they don't have the same
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: grit we got because we gave it to her.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: And this last two years, you're not finna teach her nothing.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: I know, Brouh, you're trying to reel it in and
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: teach her some responsibility, but just gonna have to let
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: life have after this go on and pay for these two.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: You're gonna take a mortgage out on your house. You
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: can't run the risk of this girl missing a payment,
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: messing up your credit.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: You crazy.
- 1:11:41Speaker 16: Let me ask you this, Steve, if this were a son,
- 1:11:44Speaker 16: would you give the same advice?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: That's differ.
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: Yes, it's a little different, like for the boys, a
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: little different. I paid for my son's education the whole
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: time they was that. And then and for graduation, everybody
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: gift was a car.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: And then see you get your ass out here and
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: get to make of it.
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: Man, good luck. Now let me tell you what happens.
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: They get into jam, they come back home and all
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: everybody on this show didn't experience that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: That's what I did, and and and and Tasha gonna
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: go straight to her daddy and she gonna win.
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: And you know, brother, the brother wrote the letter, don't
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: make you a bad father. I understand what you're trying
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: to do, but bro, it's a little bit late in
- 1:12:33Speaker 9: the game. Nice idea, but your wife ain't on board
- 1:12:37Speaker 9: with it. And then lies the problem.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Okay, see that every month would be grueling on you, buddy, Oh,
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: b and her and.
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: If you take that girl's money, good lord of money,
- 1:12:50Speaker 9: it ain't worth it. Man, don't finish out these last.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Two years, all right? All right?
- 1:12:56Speaker 16: Because all of us is faced with that go ahead,
- 1:12:59Speaker 16: I think we have time for one more. This is
- 1:13:00Speaker 16: from Emily on Facebook. She says, ever since I moved
- 1:13:04Speaker 16: into my old Victorian home, weird things have been happening.
- 1:13:07Speaker 16: Lights flickered, doors closed on their own, and sometimes I
- 1:13:10Speaker 16: hear strange noises. It's not menacing at all. If anything,
- 1:13:14Speaker 16: the ghost is nice. Once I've found a misplaced earring
- 1:13:17Speaker 16: on my dresser, and another time I came into my
- 1:13:20Speaker 16: bedroom to find the radio on one of my favorite songs.
- 1:13:24Speaker 16: None of this bothers me, But I told my friends
- 1:13:26Speaker 16: about my friendly ghost, and they've been teasing me relentlessly.
- 1:13:30Speaker 16: Should I keep my belief that I have a ghostly
- 1:13:32Speaker 16: roommate to myself or just try not to care what
- 1:13:35Speaker 16: other people think?
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: First of all, she's I don't know what shade or
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: black you are.
- 1:13:44Speaker 14: I'm a friendly ghost.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, oh what's she? You are?
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: Eight walls, I know, And that's what you get for
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: buying that old ass Victorian home.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, fountation ass house. I hope you do haunt your ass.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'll sell everything in the room. Hell of room househad slaves.
- 1:14:01Speaker 9: And they for final damn Victorian house, redeas old house
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: and big white pillars out in the front with them
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: white spindle banisters.
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 1:16:20Speaker 1: You know, get out of it? You mean actually get
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: out of jail.
- 1:16:24Speaker 14: Or change one thing in your past.

- 1:17:16Speaker 1: shall break y'all ass all right?
- 1:17:18Speaker 16: Would you rather be a ghost like cast for the
- 1:17:20Speaker 16: friendly ghost? Or would you rather be a sorcerer like
- 1:17:23Speaker 16: Harry Potter?
- 1:17:25Speaker 14: No friendly or evil?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I guess I'm just never seen no damn Harry Potter movie.
- 1:17:31Speaker 14: I don't even know who's gonna be a ghost.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I ain't never seen it either, But I can't

- 1:18:30Speaker 1: You're safe.
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: If they you didn't want to answer responses, it's in trouble. Yeah, yeah,

- 1:19:05Speaker 9: me know what morning we're doing it so I can

- 1:19:27Speaker 14: We'll close out the show with Steve right after that.
- 1:19:29Speaker 12: You're listening morning show?
- 1:19:33Speaker 16: All right, guys, Here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:19:35Speaker 16: It's been a good day, good Thursday, heading into the weekend.
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: Yeah, hey, I got some closing remarks today. You know
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: I want to be encouraging the people that remind people
- 1:19:45Speaker 9: about something. I know a lot of people who listen
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: to this show are of age, you know, fully grown people.
- 1:19:53Speaker 9: We got a lot of fully grown We got a
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: lot of young people listening to the show, surprisingly I
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: found out. But man, whoever you are, and I'm especially
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: talking to full grown people who might have led a
- 1:20:05Speaker 9: dream or two go who may have decided, well, maybe
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: it ain't the Lord's will. Please stop doing that to yourself.
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: How do you know what the Lord's will is? You know,
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: just because something goes wrong in your life, that doesn't
- 1:20:24Speaker 9: mean it's final. Every time you hit a stumbling block,
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: it doesn't symbolize or signify the end. It's a stumbling block.
- 1:20:38Speaker 9: Those are called challenges. You are going to have them
- 1:20:43Speaker 9: all of the time.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: But if your.
- 1:20:47Speaker 9: Justification every time you hit a stumbling block or a
- 1:20:50Speaker 9: challenge is I guess it's the Lord's will? Well, could
- 1:20:55Speaker 9: it be his will that this challenge or this stumbling
- 1:20:58Speaker 9: block is placed there to teach you a valuable lesson?
- 1:21:03Speaker 9: Which is usually a case of what I find, even
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: when I'm asking God for something that's taken a lot
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: longer than I needed to happen. I'm gonna tell you something, Man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: God's timing and my timing, God's timing and your timing
- 1:21:20Speaker 9: very very rarely sink up. I have yet to receive
- 1:21:26Speaker 9: something too quick. I ain't never had that. Boy that
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: happened oooh, that would wait too quick?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 1:21:34Speaker 9: No, I've never had that. Now, what has happened to me?
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: I've waited for something a long time. I've planned on
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: something for a long time that it took so long
- 1:21:46Speaker 9: that I almost forgot about it, and then it showed up,
- 1:21:51Speaker 9: and it showed up in a way that it was
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: better than the way I had expected it. I've found
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: that to happen to me many times. But what I'm
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: saying to you is, man, you can't just give up
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: on everything. You got to fight Our relationships that you're
- 1:22:09Speaker 9: in that you have to fight for. I was talking
- 1:22:12Speaker 9: to a young person the other day and they were
- 1:22:15Speaker 9: in the process of breaking up, and I went, Wow,
- 1:22:17Speaker 9: what you're doing that for?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Well, we can't seem to see eye to eye dog,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: What, I many times you ain't finishy eye of eye
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: with your wife. You know what, I many times you're
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: not finishy eye to eye with your husband. You don't
- 1:22:29Speaker 9: see eye to eye. Are you kidding me?
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: Hey?
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: Man, Sometimes you have to fight. There are relationships that's
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: worth fighting for. Then that's some relationships. You're the only
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: one fighting for it. Well, now that's another thing.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Now. But you can't give up on everything, man, don't
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: be so quick to write it off.
- 1:22:53Speaker 9: Quit talking about well, I guess it's the Lord's will
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: because you don't know.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 1:23:00Speaker 9: Job is to keep the faith. That's your job, man,
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: keep the faith. Faith is the consistent thing that's required
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: of us all. To believe in things that you cannot see,
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: to have faith in God, to believe that God is
- 1:23:18Speaker 9: working on your behalf, that God is behind the scenes,
- 1:23:21Speaker 9: operating in a way in a fashion that you know
- 1:23:24Speaker 9: nothing about. So you can't keep giving up. His ways
- 1:23:29Speaker 9: are different from our ways. The way he goes about
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: stuff may be totally contrary to the way you would,
- 1:23:36Speaker 9: and thank God for that, because your way ain't Your
- 1:23:39Speaker 9: way compared to his way, will never ever be the
- 1:23:42Speaker 9: best way.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: Stop giving up so quickly. Stop writing it off. This
- 1:23:48Speaker 9: is your future, These are your dreams. Why would you
- 1:23:51Speaker 9: give up on a dream? Why would you stop believing
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: in a dream that's been in your heart for so
- 1:23:56Speaker 9: long because you done ran into some stumbling blocks. Come on, man,
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: these stumbling blocks and challenges are lessons. That's what they are.
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: God is trying to show you something, and he shows
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: it to uniform. I tell you something happened to me recently.
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: A lot of what's been happening. I've discovered something. I
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: discovered some people that I needed to get out my life.
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: Because it's some people I thought I was just okay
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: with I ain't really okay with at all at all.
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: But it took some hardship to happen to me for
- 1:24:32Speaker 9: me to see how they were. See, God, don't put
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: more on you than you can bear it. No matter
- 1:24:37Speaker 9: how tough it's going for you. It's going that way
- 1:24:40Speaker 9: because you can handle it. It's going this way for
- 1:24:43Speaker 9: you because you've been this route before and you survived that.
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: It may be at a different level this time, but
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: you should be at the next level. All my problems
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: are bigger problems than they used to be. I have
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: much bigger problems now. Even though I have less to
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: worry about the simple things, the things I have to
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: not worry about now are very very complicated, but I
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: still have to worry. But the one thing I refuse
- 1:25:12Speaker 9: to do, and I'm asking all of you to consider this,
- 1:25:16Speaker 9: don't ever give up. Don't ever ever give up. I
- 1:25:22Speaker 9: don't care what they say. I don't care how it looks.
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: I don't care how you feel. And today, don't you dare.
- 1:25:30Speaker 9: Don't you ever give up. Don't you let the devil
- 1:25:33Speaker 9: fool you into thinking that God ain't got you in mind.
- 1:25:36Speaker 9: Don't you let the devil fool you and they think
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: you that God ain't watching you. Don't let the devil
- 1:25:40Speaker 9: make you think He ain't working on your behalf. Because
- 1:25:43Speaker 9: He is Man. All things work for the good for
- 1:25:48Speaker 9: those who love the Lord.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Man. Hang on, y'all, hang on, don't ever give up.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: You have no idea when God.
- 1:25:59Speaker 9: Gonna flip the squad which and it just light up
- 1:26:01Speaker 9: for you. It didn't happen to me over and over again.
- 1:26:04Speaker 9: So I'm hanging on. I'm asking you to hang on
- 1:26:06Speaker 9: to hey, enjoy your day to day, have a great day.
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: Talk to God. He'd absolutely love to hear from you.
- 1:26:13Speaker 9: Don't matter if you ain't talk to him in a while.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: He cool. He's a forgiving God. He ain't like the people.
