- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's to be true. Good string
- 0:24Speaker 1: together for st Please, I don't join jo do me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turning, You gotta turn to turn out, turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come, come on your thing. I show
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Ye'ah do took on me what
- 2:14Speaker 1: I said? But I do like I say always. It
- 2:18Speaker 1: just is a constant reminder of how good God has been.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So my question to you is what's stopping you from
- 2:26Speaker 1: having the life that you want? What's stopping you from
- 2:30Speaker 1: having the life that you want? I know a lot
- 2:34Speaker 1: of people who have given up on achieving the life
- 2:39Speaker 1: of their dreams. But I know they'd still want them
- 2:43Speaker 1: if they could get to them. But they just allowed
- 2:46Speaker 1: to settle for so many reasons. So who I'm talking
- 2:51Speaker 1: to is you today? What's really at the core of
- 2:55Speaker 1: stopping you? What is that? Is it your friends or
- 2:59Speaker 1: your associates, Is it the fear of what you think
- 3:03Speaker 1: somebody else will think of you if you decide to change.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Is it what I used to call the call of
- 3:09Speaker 1: the while? Is it the fact that you keep thinking
- 3:13Speaker 1: that the thing that you're doing that's providing you these
- 3:16Speaker 1: momentary moments of pleasure that really ain't really good or
- 3:20Speaker 1: healthy for you, You don't want to stop doing that
- 3:23Speaker 1: because you've got just a little bit more something else
- 3:25Speaker 1: you want to do. I call that the call at
- 3:28Speaker 1: a while. You know, it's just out there. Them streets
- 3:30Speaker 1: is calling you, Them lights is calling you. You know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: them girls is calling you. Them guys that's on the
- 3:36Speaker 1: wrong side keep calling you. You can't seem to make
- 3:39Speaker 1: a decision by the right guy. You keep picking the
- 3:42Speaker 1: wrong guy all the time. What is it that's stopping
- 3:45Speaker 1: you from having the life that you really want to have?
- 3:48Speaker 1: So whatever the reason you're choosing, that's the reason that's
- 3:52Speaker 1: stopping you from having the life that you want to have.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's no good because at the end of the day,
- 3:59Speaker 1: here's the real deal. See, God is available, and God
- 4:03Speaker 1: is available for all of us, and God has a
- 4:06Speaker 1: plan for all of us, and God wants to vary
- 4:08Speaker 1: best for all of us. That's the truth of the matter.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So now what we're gonna do to get started having
- 4:15Speaker 1: that life? First of all, if it's your friends, I
- 4:19Speaker 1: want you to understand something. Your friends can't save you.
- 4:22Speaker 1: A lot of your friends offer no real help for you.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Most of your friends don't have the answer themselves. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's just a wide range of reasons and misery love company.
- 4:34Speaker 1: So usually when your friends are in a bad position,
- 4:37Speaker 1: they kind of like company in that bad position. Your
- 4:40Speaker 1: friends ain't going to church, You're gonna be their friend.
- 4:43Speaker 1: They don't really want you to go to church. You know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: your friends don't pray, so why would they offer up
- 4:49Speaker 1: prayer as a solution to you. You know, your friends
- 4:53Speaker 1: don't really really get the fact that if you treat
- 4:58Speaker 1: people better, people would treat you better. So what's that?
- 5:02Speaker 1: So your friends are a lot of times the reasons,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know, to peer pressure of what and then the
- 5:08Speaker 1: thought in your mind of what they're gonna think once
- 5:11Speaker 1: they find out I don't do what they do anymore.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Who cares what they think other than you? I mean, really,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you
- 5:22Speaker 1: from having the best life you wanted to have. If
- 5:25Speaker 1: I went by that theory right there. I wouldn't I
- 5:28Speaker 1: wouldn't even be on this mic this morning. I would
- 5:30Speaker 1: have never become a stand up I would have had
- 5:33Speaker 1: I listened to the people around me who clearly told
- 5:37Speaker 1: me when I quit my job to pursue this, boy,
- 5:40Speaker 1: don't you quit your job? You got a family, Boy,
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't you do this? You ain't got no bit dad,
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job,
- 5:48Speaker 1: go down here, and what's your brother go to work
- 5:51Speaker 1: over here? I heard all of that. I didn't let
- 5:54Speaker 1: that stop me from pursuing this. Why would you allow
- 5:57Speaker 1: that to stop you from pursuing your relationship with God
- 6:01Speaker 1: so you can have the best life you could possibly have.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You gang bang because they've convinced you that this is
- 6:07Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 6:14Speaker 1: only source of getting over and then you drum up
- 6:18Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they
- 6:23Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you're
- 6:26Speaker 1: surrounded by telling you why we gang banging, why we're
- 6:29Speaker 1: holding this blockdown, why we slanging this thing? Here, right here,
- 6:34Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this? Here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right. You already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wile that
- 6:48Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:51Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept the way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further they progress. To even prove that you worthy
- 6:57Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of crime to even prove that you're worthy to be
- 7:02Speaker 1: around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:05Speaker 1: what happens to that where your family had? Now they
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't come down there to see you, because guess what,
- 7:11Speaker 1: they can't turn an idea to death at a law
- 7:14Speaker 1: enforcements center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 7:20Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Then you learn that what is it to stopping you
- 7:26Speaker 1: from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 7:29Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 7:33Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:42Speaker 1: God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself. Why would
- 7:46Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: in there. And then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang bang little
- 8:01Speaker 1: silly little friends try to make you think that's a
- 8:03Speaker 1: badge of honor. There ain't no badge of honor. Man,
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's one mode. What's one more scratch on that record.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That's one mode. That's one more nail in that coffin.
- 8:12Speaker 1: That's one step closer to that third strike where you
- 8:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to
- 8:18Speaker 1: that graveyard you keep on. Why would you not give
- 8:22Speaker 1: God a try? Why would you not go and see
- 8:25Speaker 1: what your life could really be? What is it that's
- 8:27Speaker 1: stopping you? Because see, I got news for you. There's
- 8:32Speaker 1: nothing like waking up free. I don't care who you are.
- 8:35Speaker 1: There's nothing like waking up with the joy in your heart. Now,
- 8:40Speaker 1: if you ain't gonna be free, get the joy in
- 8:42Speaker 1: your heart, the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something
- 8:46Speaker 1: with your life. Help somebody behind them bars get in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the program, show these young cats when they come in
- 8:51Speaker 1: a better way. But don't you dare sit there man
- 8:55Speaker 1: and just ride it out, and man, just go and
- 8:59Speaker 1: get the full It's life that you can have. What
- 9:02Speaker 1: you know, what it feels like to wake up and
- 9:04Speaker 1: be on your way somewhere, knowing that you have something
- 9:07Speaker 1: to accomplish, that you can change somebody, that you can
- 9:10Speaker 1: stop somebody from going down the roads you went down.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's a whole lot of ways to make your life better.
- 9:15Speaker 1: But why would you not go and have the best
- 9:17Speaker 1: life you can have? What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really?
- 9:23Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 9:27Speaker 1: at heart. That Dela thing your mama kept telling you
- 9:29Speaker 1: about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around. It ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together, it ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God, and it ain't ever
- 9:43Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 9:47Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 9:50Speaker 1: because prayer changes things. Prayer change people. Too. I'm a
- 9:55Speaker 1: witness to that. You're listening tow Happy New Year twenty

- 11:47Speaker 1: when when adults used to tell who used to say
- 11:49Speaker 1: Christmas is for the kids? They used to say that
- 11:53Speaker 1: kids are really happy. Yeah, I'm happy, too, happy to
- 11:55Speaker 1: be here, grateful all of that. Good Christmas, good New Year.

- 12:25Speaker 1: on the same day, January Day, right, which is also
- 12:29Speaker 1: my wedding anniversary. Yeah, yeah, so we celebrations in January too,
- 12:35Speaker 1: so too much, too much, but yeah, all good. It's
- 12:38Speaker 1: just celebrating the fact that I can't believe I made
- 12:40Speaker 1: it six years some miles. It's one thing to think it,
- 12:48Speaker 1: but to say it, well, it's twenty one. We just
- 12:52Speaker 1: gonna be one hundred the truth. Really, there's a lot
- 12:59Speaker 1: of people people have not made it through this pandemic
- 13:01Speaker 1: to as far as relationships, it's a lot. Yeah. Yeah,

- 14:47Speaker 1: black and backly ever take that good morning, everybody, welcome.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Jo Well, I was here with that damn technical difficulty.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You know, I'm so sick of technology, right the technology
- 15:07Speaker 1: gets on my last damn nerves because technology sometimes ain't
- 15:11Speaker 1: that technical? Well is it really the technology or is
- 15:15Speaker 1: it the person behind tet to do with that? That
- 15:25Speaker 1: was a damn button that I didn't hit this show.
- 15:32Speaker 1: If all y'all bed Man, we made it. We made it,
- 15:39Speaker 1: miss y'all. Yeah, I've been here man, just trying to
- 15:45Speaker 1: pull it together. And every selection day we don't here
- 15:47Speaker 1: live trying to get the last group of people out
- 15:49Speaker 1: that did not vote. This is a serious day. We
- 15:53Speaker 1: gotta get out and turn out. If you have not participated,
- 15:56Speaker 1: trust me, all you got to do is take your
- 15:59Speaker 1: drivers license down to the poll closest to your house.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's all you got to do and going there you
- 16:06Speaker 1: if you are a registered voter, you can go vote today.
- 16:09Speaker 1: We can stand in line. We can we can get
- 16:12Speaker 1: rid of this hatred, that this that this this country
- 16:15Speaker 1: been displaying for the past four years. We can stop this,
- 16:19Speaker 1: this divisiveness. We're not gonna stop it, but we can.
- 16:23Speaker 1: We can help heal some of this. We got a
- 16:25Speaker 1: long way to go, but we look, man, we affected
- 16:28Speaker 1: the election. Joe Biden is president cause of us, and
- 16:34Speaker 1: we can have these two Senate seats cause of us.
- 16:37Speaker 1: In George Shirley, I saw you on Instagram. You would voted,
- 16:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know, I would then voted me and
- 16:45Speaker 1: me and my wife went on there voted. I've been,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I've been. The turnout has been excellent. But for the
- 16:50Speaker 1: rest of you that who have not early voted, today
- 16:53Speaker 1: is the day to go get in line, spend some time,
- 16:57Speaker 1: dedicate yourself because you have proven that we can make
- 17:00Speaker 1: a difference. Trump's ass gouts to go on the twity.
- 17:05Speaker 1: He try all this stuff he wants with the electoral
- 17:10Speaker 1: He got to go out my hope and prayer though
- 17:16Speaker 1: this is my prayer. He refuses to leave the White
- 17:22Speaker 1: House and they have to send in the National Guards.
- 17:30Speaker 1: The first National Guard to go in there be a
- 17:34Speaker 1: relative of the George Floyd family. Oh yes, uh you
- 17:40Speaker 1: did took it at another level. Yeah, okay, everything you know.
- 17:50Speaker 1: In twenty twenty one, I decided, Yeah, I was just
- 17:53Speaker 1: gonna be mo me. You know a lot, don't you,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Because I was gonna say that time. It's already a lot.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know it's a lot, but
- 18:08Speaker 1: it's needed. What's saying it's needed for me, y'all. I'm
- 18:13Speaker 1: gonna be more me in twenty twenty one because also
- 18:18Speaker 1: I got birthday coming up. I'm a year old. Praise God,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you know. And what I was thinking when I said, well, man,
- 18:24Speaker 1: look him, I don't really know how much time I
- 18:28Speaker 1: got left. I'm asking God for another forty just forty
- 18:34Speaker 1: more and I'll be good to go. But in this
- 18:38Speaker 1: forty I wanted to be. My model is I take
- 18:47Speaker 1: from a caller's mother, the late great Patricia Boat, And
- 18:53Speaker 1: my model in twenty twenty one is I could give
- 18:57Speaker 1: less than he? Yes, I couldn't give less. I'm getting
- 19:08Speaker 1: too old. You've already started it though, you realize that, Yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you're talking about like right now. Yes, yes I do.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm I can give because I've decided, Luke, we're all here.
- 19:25Speaker 1: We're very blessed to be here. If we survived, if
- 19:30Speaker 1: we survive the stimulus checks and their lack of we survived, unemployment,
- 19:38Speaker 1: loss of job, Donald Trump Tump. Yes, the weak, pathetic,
- 19:45Speaker 1: coward ass senators going along with this, Okay, Doke, I
- 19:52Speaker 1: don't believe the cowardice Ted Cruise. It's scyn Let me
- 19:58Speaker 1: tell you something. If I see Ted cruis gonna be
- 20:02Speaker 1: really hard for me not jump on his a. Well.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's just be you be more
- 20:09Speaker 1: you like you're doing with us, Like I'm not gonna
- 20:12Speaker 1: jump on him, but I am gonna walk up to
- 20:14Speaker 1: him and just put my hand on the bank his
- 20:18Speaker 1: neck like that monkeys see yeah, and whispering his ear.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But you you know, your puck as ain't nothing loser.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You don't care here. Let's talk about your wife exactly.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That's the shame, right, So you just go let Trump
- 20:45Speaker 1: call your wife with me. All right, all right, We'll
- 20:54Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 20:57Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 21:03Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. In today's national news,
- 21:06Speaker 1: it is election day in Georgia. Both Biden and Trump
- 21:10Speaker 1: held campaign rallies in Georgia last night. Plus an entertainment
- 21:13Speaker 1: news people have signed a petition to arrest Soho Karen,
- 21:17Speaker 1: the woman who falsely accused this was crazy, a fourteen
- 21:20Speaker 1: year old black boy of stealing her iPhone. No such
- 21:24Speaker 1: thing happened with him. We'll talk about all these stories
- 21:27Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now, the
- 21:29Speaker 1: nephew in the building would run that brank back what
- 21:31Speaker 1: you got for his nef weed in the church van
- 21:38Speaker 1: in the church. Okay, what I will say it again?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Weed in the church, Vans Shirley, Let's go kid, Doug. Hello,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to read hello hello him, because we'll see
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to read brother Dad. Okay, Yeah, this brother
- 22:06Speaker 1: Scott from the church Belt the Baptist. Hello, Bro, Yeah,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 22:13Speaker 1: about the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Will
- 22:17Speaker 1: you drive the church man? And what's what's your schedule?
- 22:20Speaker 1: I drive it Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays? Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Now Sunday. What what is that schedule? O? Sunday. I
- 22:33Speaker 1: usually start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a
- 22:36Speaker 1: little earlier, depending on some of the elderly people that
- 22:38Speaker 1: I had to go pick up and bring to the church.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 22:45Speaker 1: make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 22:48Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 22:54Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 22:56Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 22:58Speaker 1: to Jenner or sun afterwards. But are you smoking everybody
- 23:01Speaker 1: back home. Okay, okay, Now this class Sunday, which is
- 23:07Speaker 1: part of the reason why I'm calling you. Uh. They
- 23:10Speaker 1: saying that some of the church uh numbers that was
- 23:14Speaker 1: on the vand this Sunday, Uh, they are complaining, saying that,
- 23:19Speaker 1: um that the church van was smelling like weed when
- 23:23Speaker 1: they got on there. Excuse me, they say the church
- 23:27Speaker 1: van was spending like weed when they got on there.
- 23:31Speaker 1: And you are the person that was driving them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 23:35Speaker 1: not not not the van that I'm driving. I'm I
- 23:38Speaker 1: don't no, I don't. I ain't smoke weed, and no van,
- 23:43Speaker 1: do you smoke weed? No? I don't smoke weed. I
- 23:47Speaker 1: mean not carry I mean I have before, but I
- 23:49Speaker 1: don't smoke weed now and I wouldn't smoke weed before.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Picking Some people love to go to lo Now where
- 23:57Speaker 1: you from? Who told you this? Well? All I knew
- 24:01Speaker 1: is what what? What's coming down? The pipeline is? They
- 24:03Speaker 1: saying that a couple of the members came complaining. See nae,
- 24:08Speaker 1: this just happened last week about this pipeline. I want
- 24:11Speaker 1: to know who the pipeline is because just last week
- 24:14Speaker 1: they came and me talking about that. I was using
- 24:16Speaker 1: the van to go places that I wanted to go
- 24:18Speaker 1: to on my personal time. Now I don't do that.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that, And now I haven't
- 24:22Speaker 1: had a path, I don't had a history, but I
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't do stuff like that, and I wasn't smoking, no
- 24:26Speaker 1: church fan. So are you seriously talking about? What? What? What? What?
- 24:31Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 24:33Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. Elderly
- 24:37Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? I don't They
- 24:41Speaker 1: loved me Every Sunday, didn't people tell me they loved me? Uh?
- 24:44Speaker 1: They say I'm one of the most respectful young gentlemen
- 24:46Speaker 1: they've ever met in their life. And so I really
- 24:48Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that you you you getting
- 24:50Speaker 1: these type of complaints about me. Okai what I'm saying
- 24:54Speaker 1: sing like who we? I don't know what that means
- 24:56Speaker 1: or nothing like that. Look, brothers, I don't know you
- 24:59Speaker 1: too well, and I know you don't know leave. But
- 25:01Speaker 1: I've been driving this van as as a point to
- 25:04Speaker 1: try to change my life and where I come from.
- 25:07Speaker 1: So this was was something that I wanted to volunteer
- 25:09Speaker 1: even though I'm getting paid to give my time to
- 25:12Speaker 1: do this for the church. And now this is like
- 25:14Speaker 1: the second instance where y'all and came at me on
- 25:17Speaker 1: some stuff about like I'm trying to do something with
- 25:19Speaker 1: this van. Now, why I would I disrespect the church
- 25:21Speaker 1: van by smoking weed in it and then letting the
- 25:23Speaker 1: weeds stay in there so other people could smell it. Okay,
- 25:26Speaker 1: so let me tell you what we're gonna do. We're
- 25:29Speaker 1: gonna go out here to the church van to say
- 25:31Speaker 1: we're gonna go out here today and open it up.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Like if we see any seeds or anything around the
- 25:38Speaker 1: driver's seat, then then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely,
- 25:41Speaker 1: uh point, gonna open the van up. Man. I was
- 25:44Speaker 1: raised in that church. Man, My mama go to that church,
- 25:47Speaker 1: my grandma. See you go to that church. See the
- 25:49Speaker 1: reason we even all at that church. And you think
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna mess up? They ain't by driving around in
- 25:54Speaker 1: a van full of elderly people smoking weed blood there.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I don't know how to sut the band smell like weed, man,
- 26:03Speaker 1: Now I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Did you ask some weed in your part. I can't
- 26:09Speaker 1: admitted with your smelling, I ain't had no weed on me.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Stop trying to say like I had weed on me
- 26:15Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna get me nothing that I ain't. No,
- 26:17Speaker 1: and we ain't had no weed on me. Okay, Now
- 26:19Speaker 1: you ain't gonna miss up my name or my family's
- 26:21Speaker 1: name in this church and disrespect us like this. Now,
- 26:24Speaker 1: We've been helping this church for years and I'm trying
- 26:27Speaker 1: to tell you that I ain't riding around and no bands,
- 26:29Speaker 1: smoking no weed with no elderly people. Did you ask
- 26:31Speaker 1: any of the elderly people if they had any weed
- 26:33Speaker 1: on them? Uh? No, we didn't. No, No, I didn't
- 26:38Speaker 1: think about it. No elderly people having no weed. So
- 26:41Speaker 1: you just assume it's me what one of them? Guy
- 26:44Speaker 1: got coma or something? What? What? What you know? What?
- 26:48Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? What? Did you know? Who
- 26:49Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged to? Oh? Oh, I think
- 26:53Speaker 1: I think the weed belong and nephew Tim from the
- 26:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. What man, damn you just got PreK.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, you just got PreK to put it.

- 29:28Speaker 1: All eyes are on Georgia as we cast our votes
- 29:31Speaker 1: for Democrats John Ausoff and Rafael Warnock. They're going against Republicans.
- 29:37Speaker 1: That's right, Steve. They're going against day for you. Yes,
- 29:42Speaker 1: singing baby, but you're waiting for okay you damn new
- 29:49Speaker 1: go Yes, bye bye, see you later, solo. I've been
- 30:00Speaker 1: waiting on this day for full on year, and all
- 30:09Speaker 1: of these jacked up tweets, these stupidest speech. I ain't
- 30:14Speaker 1: no longer. You gotta yeah, get your ass out, take
- 30:22Speaker 1: your family too. I ain't really got a problem with Milana.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Everything is just causing you get your ass out, take
- 30:38Speaker 1: your family to you might have got a lot of votes,
- 30:45Speaker 1: but the majority wants to get rid of you. Yeah,
- 30:50Speaker 1: bye bye, shoot lie, let your ass be gone. I
- 30:59Speaker 1: don't know. I'm much long ago Ilmill sing this song.
- 31:04Speaker 1: All right, Well, well then I got something for you.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Last night Joe Biden and Donald Trum, what do verses
- 31:15Speaker 1: keep coming? Oh? God, handle your business, baby, handle your business?
- 31:23Speaker 1: All right? Listen, all right, So last night it was
- 31:26Speaker 1: Joe Biden, it was Donald Trump, both holding rallies hoping
- 31:30Speaker 1: to sway the vote in the critical battle. President elect
- 31:33Speaker 1: Joe Biden vowed that a Democratic majority Congress could pass
- 31:37Speaker 1: more economic relief. He told Georgia voters, the power is
- 31:41Speaker 1: literally in your hands. Take a listen, let's go Georgia. Whoa.
- 32:50Speaker 1: You know the lies? You know. The part that I'm
- 32:55Speaker 1: really grateful for is that after today, are these ads
- 33:00Speaker 1: can get off my TV? Because you know, politics is
- 33:05Speaker 1: a really ugly game. And I watch how they twist, manipulate,
- 33:12Speaker 1: They take little bitty clips. They they've taken Reverend Warnack's
- 33:16Speaker 1: words and really tried to make it like but see
- 33:19Speaker 1: when they showed him bleeps and stuff. They don't really
- 33:22Speaker 1: show you what he's saying. And they don't even show
- 33:25Speaker 1: you what he was saying about. They take everything out
- 33:28Speaker 1: of context and just make what they want. But this
- 33:32Speaker 1: Kelly Leffler girl, who they've all of a sudden tried
- 33:34Speaker 1: to make like she's a human being, all of a
- 33:37Speaker 1: sudden got her smile and this stuff. This robot later,
- 33:45Speaker 1: this woman right here, that debate I was just on
- 33:49Speaker 1: and Purdue. See what people don't understand. He's still under
- 33:53Speaker 1: FBI investigation. He still he hasn't been cleared of this
- 33:58Speaker 1: inside of trading. This dude really did and they're talking
- 34:02Speaker 1: about wee. John also voted against stimulus packet. No he didn't.
- 34:06Speaker 1: He voted against the six hundred he wanted to two thousand. Yeah,
- 34:11Speaker 1: the Republican the Republicans have blocked the two thousand. Donald
- 34:17Speaker 1: Trump came in with that trick move talking about he
- 34:19Speaker 1: don't want to sign this because he wont two thousand.
- 34:21Speaker 1: But it's the Republican Party that bumped it down to
- 34:25Speaker 1: nine hundred billion, which made the checks only be six
- 34:29Speaker 1: hundred Yeah, yeah, ye see, they've been lying this whole time.
- 34:34Speaker 1: But the people that believe him, Man, the I'm so
- 34:37Speaker 1: sick of the people who just think because Donald Trump
- 34:40Speaker 1: said it, it's the truth. I'm so sick they don't
- 34:47Speaker 1: want to hear the truths to hear it. The lies
- 34:49Speaker 1: are obvious. But I'm not more disappointed than in the
- 34:55Speaker 1: voters who don't understand that the religious the religious community.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I was watching this conservative station and they said, regardless
- 35:07Speaker 1: as to who the person is, you have to vote
- 35:10Speaker 1: as a Christian. So they hanging they hat on pro life, right, yeah,
- 35:16Speaker 1: And that's the thing that that that no matter what
- 35:18Speaker 1: the person does, you have to vote for the person
- 35:21Speaker 1: that's pro life. Okay, So as Christians, damn your fellow
- 35:25Speaker 1: man's existence and welfare, Damn the fact that he wants
- 35:29Speaker 1: to be treated equal, Damn all that we're just worried
- 35:32Speaker 1: about abortion. As a Christian, you got to worry about
- 35:36Speaker 1: a person's livelihood and well being and life. And it
- 35:40Speaker 1: don't just stop at abortion. Pro rites and writes. What
- 35:44Speaker 1: about the ones that's already here? So all right, coming
- 35:49Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes, juniors, here with the poem right
- 35:51Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, all right, it's a
- 35:57Speaker 1: new year. So guess what, junior, a resident poet has
- 36:01Speaker 1: a new poem. All right, This poem is not directed
- 36:07Speaker 1: anybody it's just directed to a year, and that would
- 36:10Speaker 1: be twenty twenty. So I named the poem so long
- 36:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty, and he though so long twenty twenty. In hell,
- 36:22Speaker 1: I hope you right. You was a mighty good year.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I'm joking. Guess what not? You took some real good people.
- 36:30Speaker 1: For sure we're going to miss So guess what twenty twenty?
- 36:34Speaker 1: You know exactly what you can kiss? Whoa? You took
- 36:38Speaker 1: away basketball, football and dancing in and in order to
- 36:43Speaker 1: eat my chicken wings, I got to wear gloves. We're
- 36:48Speaker 1: wearing a mask to go to church and a mask
- 36:50Speaker 1: to see our mama's I'm sick of you old hate
- 36:53Speaker 1: for ass twenty you call so much drama. So hop
- 36:58Speaker 1: a ride with Trump and go wherever y'all might go.
- 37:02Speaker 1: So come on end twenty one, twenty twenty. We don't
- 37:05Speaker 1: need your ass, no boat. I was waiting for the end. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that's that's now. We made it. Man. That's bad. Yeah y'all. Man,
- 37:24Speaker 1: I've been here the whole time in the house. It
- 37:27Speaker 1: wasn't my beautiful year. Yeah yeah. By myself sitting in here,
- 37:33Speaker 1: this has probably been just probably been one of the
- 37:35Speaker 1: roughest years of your life. Man, ain't no dating and nothing.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I've just been phoned dating. That's hard, you know, got stuff? Yeah,
- 37:43Speaker 1: because you gotta look for charge and tom me batter
- 37:45Speaker 1: might die phone dating. Hold on, let me find my charge.
- 37:49Speaker 1: That put a hold on everything? You know? Rough, you know?
- 37:53Speaker 1: But do you zoom on the dates though? Na? No,
- 37:57Speaker 1: you know, I just I just be on here, just
- 37:58Speaker 1: talking on the phone time. I'm old cool. You just
- 38:00Speaker 1: talk on the phone like you could see your days.
- 38:04Speaker 1: But you know, I don't really want to. I don't
- 38:06Speaker 1: want to see him call why because that matters up?
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'd have cut you know, depending on how your apartment
- 38:15Speaker 1: look too. Yeah, all the plates and stuff on the
- 38:20Speaker 1: counter back there, you know. You know when you depressed,
- 38:23Speaker 1: it carries over into your house. Junior trifling chicken balls
- 38:29Speaker 1: over there, glasses turned over. You know, you go over
- 38:35Speaker 1: to the refrigerator opening the job. Man ads in there.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You're gonna COVID about to kill this boy? Yeah all
- 38:43Speaker 1: that man, you know, when Junior's sitting in his draws
- 38:46Speaker 1: what hey man, hey man, did forget did you see over?
- 38:52Speaker 1: Stand up? Did you said every thing that's seeing The
- 38:55Speaker 1: reporter who was talking and then got caught or doing
- 38:59Speaker 1: something Jeffrey tod business. Yeah on camera though, just yea
- 39:05Speaker 1: with his self show self. Hey man, that couldn't wait.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Close your computer? All right? Coming up in thirty four
- 39:15Speaker 1: minutes after, we're gonna talk to the people. Call us
- 39:17Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You know
- 39:26Speaker 1: just what it is. Today's election day in Georgia. We
- 39:29Speaker 1: want to say thank you Georgia voters for voting for
- 39:32Speaker 1: Reverend Rafael Warnock and John Auso and Daniel Blackman for
- 39:36Speaker 1: Public Service Commissioner. Okay, he's on the ballot too. Let's
- 39:40Speaker 1: go Georgia. Let's go all right, let's vote voted. Please
- 39:44Speaker 1: go vote to day, Please please go vote, stand in line,
- 39:48Speaker 1: take some time out. Your vote counts. We've proven that
- 39:51Speaker 1: it counts. Your steel can count today. If you have
- 39:54Speaker 1: not early voted, get to the poll today, please, that's right.
- 39:58Speaker 1: This is important, man. Black lives matter, and I think
- 40:02Speaker 1: they're gonna get the message loud and clear, because when
- 40:05Speaker 1: when Georgia turned blue and the only places left was
- 40:08Speaker 1: Cobb County in food And County, and trump'say asked for
- 40:11Speaker 1: start losing more and more. See all that studden that
- 40:13Speaker 1: black lives don't matter. Better matter now too, bet it
- 40:18Speaker 1: matter now? All right, Steve, you're ready to go to
- 40:21Speaker 1: the phone. Yeah, let's go. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 40:25Speaker 1: let's talk to the people. Line one. Let's go to
- 40:28Speaker 1: Debra in Jersey City. Line one, Hey, Deborah, Hello, money,
- 40:33Speaker 1: how are you today? That man? I'm fine, on my
- 40:36Speaker 1: way the word I'm medical work. Thank you, okay, thank you, well,
- 40:43Speaker 1: thank you. She's a medical he's a medical worker. Oh
- 40:46Speaker 1: you your front line, bay, get that vaccine already, have it, girl,
- 40:53Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. What's your comment, Deborah, I'm
- 40:58Speaker 1: confirmed be playing to the person that was speaking about
- 41:02Speaker 1: the poem about twenty twenty. It was somewhat funny, but
- 41:05Speaker 1: it also some what was true because um, twenty twenty
- 41:09Speaker 1: a devastating for everyone. I just thank God that we
- 41:13Speaker 1: got through, and you know, pray for the families that
- 41:15Speaker 1: didn't get through. And you know, there's some light at
- 41:18Speaker 1: the end of the chunnel for twenty twenty one. We
- 41:20Speaker 1: can see because now that we know, you know some
- 41:24Speaker 1: what it is, the virus, and that people will be
- 41:26Speaker 1: in vaccine but not only that, we see a large
- 41:29Speaker 1: number of people that come that's coming out to be tested,
- 41:31Speaker 1: and that's a plus break there. Um. Also, I just
- 41:36Speaker 1: want to commend you also get talk show. I've listened
- 41:40Speaker 1: to it the whole twenty twenty going to work in
- 41:42Speaker 1: my car on my lunch break. You know, you kept
- 41:45Speaker 1: me I watch Lifted, you know sometimes when I was down,
- 41:48Speaker 1: you know, coming out of the hospital, just sitting going home,
- 41:52Speaker 1: you know. But I just thank God that he's covering
- 41:56Speaker 1: us through this oil and pray that we all make
- 41:58Speaker 1: it through twenty twenty one. And you know what, devil,
- 42:01Speaker 1: We really appreciate folks like you that's out here on
- 42:04Speaker 1: our frontline workers, all of you, but nobody knows how
- 42:08Speaker 1: hard it is too, and nobody's seeing the devastation up
- 42:11Speaker 1: close the way that you all have. I mean, now, look,
- 42:14Speaker 1: when it hits your family personally, of course you get
- 42:17Speaker 1: a ringside seat. But when you get a ringside seat
- 42:21Speaker 1: of everybody that comes through that man that don't make it,
- 42:25Speaker 1: that has to affect the lives of the people back
- 42:28Speaker 1: at their house. It's a that's a tough job y'all got.
- 42:32Speaker 1: And you's a bad girl, Debora and I really appreciate
- 42:34Speaker 1: your spirit and all of this and the blessing in
- 42:37Speaker 1: twenty twenty in case you all haven't looked for it.
- 42:39Speaker 1: A lot of times people can't go forward with twenty
- 42:41Speaker 1: twenty one because you keep hanging on the twenty twenty
- 42:44Speaker 1: and how bad twenty twenty was. Let me give you
- 42:46Speaker 1: the ultimate blessing of twenty twenty. You ready? Yes? Yes?
- 42:51Speaker 1: You still here? An? Yeah? Yeah, it's Jesus name you
- 42:58Speaker 1: steal here now. It's hard to lose a loved one
- 43:02Speaker 1: no matter what, and our hearts and sympathy goes out
- 43:04Speaker 1: to people who suffer losses. There's no easy way to
- 43:07Speaker 1: lose loved one, and we all on this show know that.
- 43:11Speaker 1: So it's that's not that, but the blessing is you
- 43:15Speaker 1: still here? If that ain't something to say glory to
- 43:19Speaker 1: God for, I don't know what it is. I mean, man,
- 43:24Speaker 1: my son had COVID, my wife had COVID. You know,
- 43:28Speaker 1: I mean, man, I when I when I got the
- 43:30Speaker 1: news that Marjorie had COVID, I mean I was on

- 43:36Speaker 1: is my girl. And you know this was early on
- 43:38Speaker 1: you we ain't really we wasn't watching a lot of
- 43:41Speaker 1: people come out of the hospital with COVID. You don't understand.
- 43:43Speaker 1: But the blessing is she didn't even have to go
- 43:45Speaker 1: to the hospital, and by the grace of God, she's
- 43:49Speaker 1: still here. So man, praise God for just for just
- 43:54Speaker 1: the blessing that we here and now like and you
- 43:57Speaker 1: offer us hope that when you say stuff like that,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you know and I know people got these theories about
- 44:02Speaker 1: the vaccine and I don't want to get into that
- 44:04Speaker 1: because it's a personal choice. But I'm taking mumble. I'm
- 44:10Speaker 1: taking say it loud and proud, Frank, I'm wiping it,

- 44:28Speaker 1: about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter, the first
- 44:31Speaker 1: one for twenty twenty one, okay, and the subject is
- 44:35Speaker 1: two surprises in one night. We'll get into that later
- 44:39Speaker 1: right now, Huh, I've had that two surprises in one night? Girl?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Is this letter about you? I show hope now right

- 44:59Speaker 1: letter all right, right now, the nephew is here with
- 45:02Speaker 1: today's praying phone call. What you got for us? Now?
- 45:05Speaker 1: Twe twenty one? I got one for your baby's calling Shirley. Yeah,
- 45:09Speaker 1: I'll gonna love this woman right here. Her cousin told
- 45:12Speaker 1: me my cousin is a food timing it ain't gonna
- 45:15Speaker 1: take long. And guess what, it didn't take long. The
- 45:18Speaker 1: title is mask up, mask Like. Let's one Hello, Hello,
- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Vicky. Is Vicky? This is Malik.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I'm calling from Wigs and Moore. My, I'm sorry. What
- 45:37Speaker 1: now is my hair in? Okay? You you have you
- 45:40Speaker 1: order with us? What? What? What? What? What kind of
- 45:42Speaker 1: order do you have? Yeah? I ordered Kiki twists one
- 45:45Speaker 1: B four backs a matter of fact, and they still
- 45:48Speaker 1: haven't came in. So that's what I think. Can you
- 45:49Speaker 1: calling me about? No? I'm like I said, my name
- 45:52Speaker 1: is Malik. You know, I just started working here, probably
- 45:54Speaker 1: within the last eight months. But the reason for calling
- 45:57Speaker 1: you is that I noticed the last couple of times
- 46:00Speaker 1: that you come here that you know, your your mask
- 46:04Speaker 1: is not on, you know, just hanging off your ear
- 46:06Speaker 1: or your ten right. So I'm trying. I'm you know,
- 46:10Speaker 1: no no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no,
- 46:12Speaker 1: you're not calling me about no mask baby, coming about

- 46:17Speaker 1: to have Now. When your hair come in, we will
- 46:19Speaker 1: call you and let you know your hair is in.
- 46:21Speaker 1: But right now you're calling you no, no, you can't
- 46:24Speaker 1: be calling me by my mask, baby. If your mask
- 46:27Speaker 1: is hanging off your ear, ars under your chin every
- 46:30Speaker 1: time you come in here in this store. So I'm
- 46:33Speaker 1: calling you the doors. It says it on the door,
- 46:36Speaker 1: have your mask on? Your mask? Ain't who hired you
- 46:40Speaker 1: for that? You're supposed to be at the register taking
- 46:42Speaker 1: the money and saying thank you for coming. That's what
- 46:44Speaker 1: you're supposed to be doing here. But how are you
- 46:46Speaker 1: getting my number? That's another thing. I got your number
- 46:48Speaker 1: here because we got it on file, because you you
- 46:51Speaker 1: do your orders here. So I know that. Oh you
- 46:53Speaker 1: got a smart mouth too. I don't. I'm just saying,

- 46:58Speaker 1: sculled me. I think it's bad. No, no, we on
- 47:02Speaker 1: I weigh up that when miss stop breathing my scale, Malie,
- 47:05Speaker 1: we do on't I weigh up the baby. I hope
- 47:07Speaker 1: you're just as mad as you are in person, because
- 47:10Speaker 1: her mind was it. No, who is that in the background?
- 47:15Speaker 1: Who is that in the background. Don't worry about who's
- 47:17Speaker 1: in the background, about who's the frog? And I want
- 47:18Speaker 1: my way up there because I need to find out
- 47:20Speaker 1: who this is calling me and worrying about my mask.
- 47:23Speaker 1: My grandbaby made this mask, baby, and it might be
- 47:25Speaker 1: a little what sided, but my little grand baby made
- 47:28Speaker 1: this mask for her k k okay? Can she make
- 47:32Speaker 1: a man fit your gut? That fit your face? Oh?
- 47:36Speaker 1: Hell now? And I just got the pin. Oh you
- 47:39Speaker 1: got me all the way stuff now I can I
- 47:41Speaker 1: can't do what I want to do. You don't tell me,
- 47:43Speaker 1: you don't call on me, and I'm trying to get
- 47:45Speaker 1: the situations up over. You can't win. No mask hanging
- 47:49Speaker 1: off your face when you walk the mast. Don't you

- 48:15Speaker 1: uh uh my mom? And them all on the man
- 48:18Speaker 1: because I'm not well? Mayn't I you that I'm the
- 48:21Speaker 1: one calling making show people how they mask on? So
- 48:24Speaker 1: when you when you come in here from this point on,
- 48:27Speaker 1: they're coming in with your man's hand off the side
- 48:29Speaker 1: of your converstrate to you what's with the mask off?

- 54:01Speaker 1: seven pm Eastern time. Please go to vote dot org
- 54:05Speaker 1: to get more information on Georgia polling places. Uh, please
- 54:09Speaker 1: do this. We got to finish the job we started.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Get these two senators and send them to DC so
- 54:15Speaker 1: then Joe Biden and Kamala Harris can do what they
- 54:17Speaker 1: need to do to change to stop the bleeding, to
- 54:23Speaker 1: change the country. Absolutely, that's exactly right. But deeper than that,
- 54:28Speaker 1: we need to send a message to them about who
- 54:32Speaker 1: we are. Yes, I think this is about proving and
- 54:38Speaker 1: showing to them who we are. Right for me election,
- 54:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I mean, for me, this
- 54:44Speaker 1: election is more about black lives really do matter? Yeah,
- 54:49Speaker 1: this president has denounced the Black Lives Matter movement talking
- 54:53Speaker 1: about it's a Marxist organization, and he don't, Yeah, what
- 54:57Speaker 1: are you talking about? That's stupid ass theory And got
- 55:02Speaker 1: all these people now, the head of the Proud Boys,
- 55:06Speaker 1: you know they've arrested him, Yeah, for doing defacing the
- 55:11Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter sign somewhere some Proud Boys from a church,
- 55:19Speaker 1: which he wouldn't He wouldn't denounce the Proud Boys when

- 55:38Speaker 1: we really do, and we're going to prove it to you.
- 55:41Speaker 1: We're going to show you that our vote can change elections.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Do you know this because we voted that he is
- 55:48Speaker 1: not the president today. Do you know if all of
- 55:52Speaker 1: us were to vote in Georgia, do you know we
- 55:55Speaker 1: would control who was in the Senate. Do you know
- 55:58Speaker 1: we have that power today that you still have time
- 56:01Speaker 1: to go to the polls before it closes and cast
- 56:04Speaker 1: a vote that could be the deciding factor. You can
- 56:08Speaker 1: be part of a movement. That's how we have to
- 56:10Speaker 1: look at it. Look, that's right, Steve. Politicians go get
- 56:13Speaker 1: in there and they're gonna disappoint us from time to time.
- 56:16Speaker 1: We got that, but we ain't got to disappoint ourselves
- 56:20Speaker 1: though that we can know that we've done our share.
- 56:24Speaker 1: We can know that we showed up and made a difference.
- 56:27Speaker 1: That we can know. Yeah, yep, So come on, Georgia,
- 56:31Speaker 1: let's vote today. Let's vote. Polls are open right now.

- 57:15Speaker 1: We got it for you. Hibbertes subject, Thank you, Tommy.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Subject to Surprises in one night. Just Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 57:24Speaker 1: a twenty nine year old divorced woman dating a twenty
- 57:28Speaker 1: nine year old man that I've been friends with for years.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I have two children from my marriage, so I sleep
- 57:33Speaker 1: over at his house for now. I have a key
- 57:35Speaker 1: to his house, but we agreed that I called before
- 57:38Speaker 1: I came over. I went over unannounced on New Year's
- 57:41Speaker 1: Eve to drop off the champagne and fruit tray for
- 57:43Speaker 1: the night. I pulled up and my cousin was walking
- 57:46Speaker 1: out of his house. She started calling my name loudly
- 57:49Speaker 1: and looked very nervous. She said she was there to
- 57:53Speaker 1: help my man plan a surprise for me. I told
- 57:56Speaker 1: her to come back inside with me so I could
- 57:59Speaker 1: confirm her story. When I walked in, my man flipped out.
- 58:03Speaker 1: He started apologizing and said he never wanted me to
- 58:06Speaker 1: find out like this. I asked find out what. My
- 58:10Speaker 1: cousin was shaking her head like no, so he stopped talking.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I think he realized that my cousin hadn't told me anything,
- 58:19Speaker 1: so he made up a lie real quick. He said
- 58:21Speaker 1: it was all a setup and they were planning something
- 58:23Speaker 1: special for me for New Year's Eve. Then he made
- 58:26Speaker 1: a smart remark about me popping up and almost ruining everything.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I didn't know what to believe because both of their
- 58:32Speaker 1: stories were similar. I thought maybe I was wrong for
- 58:35Speaker 1: coming unannounced, so I let it go. But something didn't
- 58:39Speaker 1: feel right and it ruined my mood, so I didn't
- 58:42Speaker 1: even go back home to change my clothes. My man
- 58:45Speaker 1: ended up proposing to me that night, but he didn't
- 58:48Speaker 1: give me a ring. He said that he wants me
- 58:50Speaker 1: to go and pick it out for myself. I don't
- 58:53Speaker 1: feel right about any of this, and I feel like
- 58:55Speaker 1: I'm being made a fool. Love. Do I need to
- 58:57Speaker 1: figure out what's really going on with them? Or should
- 58:59Speaker 1: I leave him in twenty twenty and move on? Okay,
- 59:05Speaker 1: well this is crazy right? Well having a key, having
- 59:09Speaker 1: a key usually means you can come over unannounced. That's
- 59:12Speaker 1: why they give you a key. Otherwise why have a key?
- 59:16Speaker 1: But you know in this letter, I gotta say, trust
- 59:19Speaker 1: your instincts, as we always tell you guys. The only
- 59:23Speaker 1: way this is a real situation is if this is
- 59:26Speaker 1: a movie, I think, and it's not. This is real life.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I think they're doing each other, I do. I think
- 59:32Speaker 1: they're making up lies about it on the spot like
- 59:35Speaker 1: they did and you heard it. I think. Don't let
- 59:38Speaker 1: them make you doubt yourself. You know what you saw
- 59:41Speaker 1: with your own eyes. I mean and know what you
- 59:44Speaker 1: heard with your own ears. You know how suspicious they
- 59:47Speaker 1: were acting, how nervous they were acting, all the headshaking, no,
- 59:52Speaker 1: and all of that. Your man started apologizing. All this
- 59:55Speaker 1: stuff is suspect. Okay, believe what you saw, leave what
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you heard, because if you don't, you can definitely say
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: that they are making it full of you. So you know,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I think, believe yourself, and we'll come back with part
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: two of this letter, Steve. I know it's not a
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: lot of time here, so you know we're going to
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: move on and let you have the whole part two
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to yourself. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, all right.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response is coming up at twenty
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, the subject to surprises in
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: one night. We'll be right back. You're listening to the

- 1:01:23Speaker 1: new year's subject, two Surprises in one night. All right,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: So here's the deal. I'm gonna just take you through
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the letter as I read it. I want to show
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you some things in the letter. I want to show
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you a letter that has some great meaningless gestures in it.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I call them great meaningless gestures, great and meaningless at
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the same time. And there's two of them in here,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: two of them. And the title of the letter is
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: two surprises in one night, and well, guess what two
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: meaningless gestures also, And this twenty nine year old woman,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: divorced woman is dating this twenty nine year old man
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: she's been friends with for years. She got two kids
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: from the marriage, so she sleep over at his house
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: for now. Now. She says, I have a key to
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: his house, but we agreed that i'd call before I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: came over. Okay, listen to me, that's a meaningless gesture.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: If a man gives you a key to his house,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: but have you come up and agreed to you can
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: only call come if you call first, then all you
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: got really is not a key to the dot, but
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: a way to let yourself in. Agreed, So his ass
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: ain't got to get up and go to the dough.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: But do not come over here without calling first. Do
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: we agree with that? Yeah, he're gonna key. Okay, here
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: gonna key. That's a meaningless gesture. So you don't have
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the right to just pop in like it's your house too,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: it's his house. Don't come over here without calling. So
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you having a key is a meaningless gesture. All right,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I agree? But then I went over on announced on
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: New Year's Eve. I don't know why this dude thought
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: she was gonna act right, you know, good hair. Well, oh,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: woman ain't fit to go along with that. That's your
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: dumbass agreement. So right after the agreement that we agreed,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I called for, I came over. I went over on
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: an nounced on New Year's Eve to drop off the
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: champagne and fruit trade for the night. Wait, man, hold on,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you couldn't have just bought that with you. You had
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to go drop it off early. Now, the light of
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: this letter is too surprises in one night. This ain't
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a big surprise people. We're talking about a fruit fruit
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: trade now and a Bolish champagne A big surprise basically
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: a Kroger snap tray and some ballatore. Let's start keep
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: it real, all right. I pulled up and my cousband
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: was walking out of his house. She started calling my name, Lilly, Brenda, Brenda,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you were here, Brenda, She says. She was there to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: help my man, playing a surprise for me. Once again,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: y'all are not big surprised people. We're talking about a
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: snap tray had one Bolish champagne. So what was she
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: over there helping his ass playing? I told her. Then
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: right after that, she said, I told her to come
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: back inside with me so I could confirm her story.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Put means right away, you didn't believe none of this anyway,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: because you know the twenty nine year old dude. Money
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: ain't where you want it to be yet. He ain't
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: no big surprise people, That's why you got to bring
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the snack tray in the champagne, because if you don't
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: bring that over here, y'all just gonna be watching that
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: damn ball. It's gonna be much of a party. What
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: is she over there helping him do? And when you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: walk in? What was ready? When I walked in, my
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: man flipped out. He started apologizing and said he never
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: wanted me to find out like this, And I said,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: find out what. My cousin was shaking her head like no,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: so he stopped talking. I think he realized that my
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: cousin hadn't told me anything. Right, this stupid ass with
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: your damn ass, I hain't your dude. Oh lord, they together,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: they seeing each other, She saw him come out of
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: her baby. I'm sorry, I ain't want you to find
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: out like this. I've been with your shut up okay
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: too much? So he made up a lib real quick. Now,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: hold on, you just said he made up a libryal quick.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You also walked back in the house to confirm her story,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: because you know your cousin is a liar to so
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: now you already know he made up a lie. He
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: said it was all a set up and they was
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: playing something special for me. For New Year's Eve? What
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you had to brain? This snack tray, in this champagne,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: he in that helplet? What did you see any balloons?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Your name and roses on the wall? Did you have anything? No?
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Then he made a smart remark about me popping in
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and ruining everything. I don't know what to believe. Believe
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: what you think is happening. Because both day stories were similar.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I thought maybe I was wrong for coming on the nounced,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: so I let him go. But I feel like something
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: righting is ruined my mood, so I didn't even go
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: back home. Chain close. So you got that same jog
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: and suit on and may a valatoration, champagne. You ain't
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: got no makeup, vone hair all over your head. We're
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: happy New Year. Then his ass ended up proposing to
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you that night, but he didn't give me a ring.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: He said to me, want me go pick it out myself,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: another meaningless jesture. Who'll do that? Will you marry me?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I ain't got no ring. Won't you pick it out yourself?
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: The girl get out of him? Thank you, girl? All right?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Thanks Steve. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Coming up at
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour Sports Talk with Junior.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. New Year.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Vote Yes, Vote, Vote everybody,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: go vote. If you have not early voted, please get
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: to the polls today. Your vote. Your vote does matter.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Your vote does make a difference. Tell him, Steve and
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: listen to me. We've proven it one time we turned
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Georgia blue. We can, we can take home two Senate seats.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I want nothing more than to give Donald Trump two
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: parting gifts. Now, last night he was here in Georgia,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: up down there talking to him his basse, just cheering
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: for him and everything. You know what, I ain't really
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: got no problem with his base. You know, they are
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: what they are. They want to believe what they want
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: to believe. It's the Republican senators and candidates that have
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: made me sick to my stomach because they know better. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: they know this guy is lying and they're going along
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: with it. It's just it's like they took an oath
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: to him versus a concert. They're cowards, man. They're more
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: a faith. They have more faith and fear of him
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: than they have the Lord God Almighty. Anytime you let
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: a man, you fear man more than God, and I
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: mean fear in a respectful way. You know, fear is
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: to respect God. But you don't you lose your respect
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: for God and replace it and put it in a
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: man named Donald Trump? Are you kidding me? Yeah? Who
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: cares nothing about you? Nothing? And you know what, man,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: you don't think you're telling me. But he controls seventy
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: million votes. That's one time him seventy million voters can't
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: help him after this, right and he lost. What y'all
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: missing is seventy seven million people don't care nothing about him.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: And I'm in that group. Yes, sir, all right, time
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: for Junior? Now in sports talk? What you got for
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Let me just say this, Yeah, sports talk is gonna
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: be longer than one break. We don't have enough time.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: It's not your segment. Go ahead, Junior. I was just
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: gonna say congratulations. I'm not a hater, just congratulations to
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the Cleveland around for eighteen years streak. Why did your playoffs?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Why you start there? All the teams out there, you
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: start there, they've been in the playoffs eighteen years. Where's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: you gonna start. Come on, Joan Dog, I just wanted
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: to say congratulations. Okay, why you somebody I hate, always
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: about to worry about the I deal with him as
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: soon as this commercial RADI I got all right, thank
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you Junior coming back with Sports Talk with Junior at
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: the top of the hour. You're listening to morning show.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I need to turn my mic on. How about that?
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Worry about that? The way I'm on zoom. I'm on zoom,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: watching my mouth move with no sound in my ears. Hey,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: ju go ahead, come on sports say eighteen years. I
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: want to say congratulations to the Cleveland Brown Thank you.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: You already did that. You did that, quiet little dude,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: A man, see you know what your ladies didn't respond
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to the group text. I understand when oh boy, what
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: happened was all I said was Cleveland we in the playoffs.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I just sent it to everybody. I'm over joyed in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: eighteen years. Little man, Hey, that's Thomas. Okay, okay, little
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: man Thomas. He types in a cuss word, he said,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and you know how I feel about cussing. I don't
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: know why he would do that, but he cussed my
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: city right right, he said, blank Cleveland. I said, what,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: why would you cuss my city? And that went on
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: for a day. Once you cuss my city? See, and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I never once returned it by saying blank Houston because
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: a lot of people in Houston. I like a lot
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: of stuff about the city. I like, you know, calling
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: down there down now, A lot of stuff in Houston.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I like. I like the Gallantry Hill, you know what
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I'm saying. I like, I like the soul food place
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: down there. Lord have mersed the memories I have in Houston.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Pray for me, Jesus, I got say back to Cleveland.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: So I would never do that. So you know, I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: was just I was so hurt when he did that.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Oh you was taking a back come again. He got personal,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: and so then that just opened up the gate. What
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: did he talk about? You personal? Personally talking about some
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: of the sandals I had on some way like and
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: so then that did it? You know it want the trend?
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Oh now we now we you know? And then see
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: if you knew what Valentino paid me to wear them
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: sandals on that day into the palace, or they should
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: have paid me too, because I've been over here defending
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: your ass while you was over there. They paid me too.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I don't give damn about what you're talking about, Valentine,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: don't even send me a check time. I'm over here
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: fighting for you while you're here flip flopping the time. Okay,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: time to listen to me. You ain't gotta defending me, man.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I got plenty of clothes. I got plenty clothes. Every
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: time you do something, time you do something, it don't
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: hit you, it hit me. Oh no, no, no, no no,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: it hit me. But I don't give a damn. It.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Don't happy to be at that point in my life
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: when I don't give a damn what they said about
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: me on the end of the day, if they knew
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: why I was in them damn sandals, if they knew
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: what was so anyway, time it started customer team, so
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: I had to do his ass. I got personal. So
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I had a series of means and kind of hurt
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: him because he got quiet. I did a little mean
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: of it, little as half found a little ass. Man
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: or dancing was cracking me up. Like Steve knows how
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to do all of this, he was he was getting
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: them fast. I found that over the break all that
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I do know how to go get him. Now we
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: can't even send a screenshot of the of this tax exchange.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: We can't even post it all. I will say this,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the Steve did say though that the Houston, Texas facility
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: is closed and it ain't due to COVID. I love him,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: big up to watch to J. J. Watts. Yeah, and
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: you know, just Greg ups, big up to Hugh. You
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: know everything went wrong, got caught cheating into Dale. Well
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: serious Texas. All right, we got to going minutes after
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: the hour, right after this, you're listening to the Stave
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Trending political news. Washington, DC police arrested
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Enrique Tario. He is the leader of the Proud Boys.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: This happened Monday afternoon, and charged him with burning a
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter banner that was ripped down from a
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: historic black church in December during a protest. A DC
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: police spokesperson said that Tario was arrested after police stopped
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: a vehicle he was in shortly after it entered the city.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Tario was charged with a misdemeanor count of destruction of
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: property related to the twelfth torching of a banner that
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: was taken from uh Asbury United Methodist Church. He was
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: also charged with two felony counts of possession of high
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: capacity ammunition feeding devices, the legal term for a gadget
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: that allows a gun to hold more ammo. Wow. Remember
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: during a presidential debate, when asked to condemn white supremacists,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Trump told the Proud Boys to stand back and stand by.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: How can we forget that? Yeah? So Enrique that's his name, Yeah,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Enrique Terrio. I bet his name right, Yeah he is.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: He's real dark. Yeah. What did you say? He's he's
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: real dark. Yeah, he's he's a dark, like olive skinned
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: kind of guy. Yeah, dark, Yeah, he is. His name
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: is Enrique's uh huh? All right, black lives matter. I
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: guess you think Latino lives do. Definitely, that's how you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: think they look at us. We got more of the
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Steve Harv Morning Show coming up right after this. You're
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: listening show. All right, Georgia, let's get it. Today is
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: election day in Georgia for the special Senate runoff vote
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: for Reverend Rafael Warnock and John Ausof. Okay, Rafael Warnock
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: and John Ausoft. Polls are now open. They will be
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: open until seven pm Eastern time tonight. Go to vote
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: dot org to get more information on how to find
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: your Georgia polling places. We certainly hope you already know
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: that by now, but we want you to get in
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: those lines, and we want you to vote. Tell him, Steve,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: tell him telling. I'm telling you, man, voting is critical.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: We gotta make it happen. Look, we're on the verge
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: of something great here. I've voted not for politics, but
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I voted really to prove them all wrong for those
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: that don't believe that black lives should matter. It don't
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: matter whether you think our lives should matter not. We're
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: going to make you accept the fact. And voting is
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: one of the great ways to make it. I'm telling you, y'all.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: They sat there, this man watched his presidency slip away.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: And what's angered him most was he knew what voted. Was.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: It slipped away in Detroit, it slipped away in Milwaukee.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: He watched it on TV slip away in Philly, and
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: he saw it go away in it in Detroit. I mean,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I mean in Atlanta, Atlanta, Philly, Detroit crushed it. That's
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: not to mention all the other places. But when we
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: were watching it live on TV, how it ended, it
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: was demoralizing for him, and you know they were trying
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: not to say it, but you know McConnell said one thing,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: or one of them said it. How could more people
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: vote for Biden than voted for Obama? See, man, what
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: they did not understand was we registered more people Stacy
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Abram's campaign down in Georgia. More people were registered because
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: of Stacy Abram's bank state of Georgia alone. Yes, that
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: right there, went to work and turned it into a
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: blue state. Why y'all wasn't looking see why y'all were
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: saying black lives don't matter? She was proven that they do, right.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: But then it sames, See Tommy, that's that's exactly what
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: it is. See. We voted for Obama for history, right,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: right because of what he meant took us to us.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: We voted against you this time because of what you
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: was doing to us. That's right. That's a difference, man,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: and and and and are we tired of what you're
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: doing to us? We are tired of it, man, We
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: are we are. We are so again. Today's election day
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: and Georgia Special Senate runoff. Um. The polls are open
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: now until seven pm. We want you to vote for
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Rafael Warnock and John Ausoft go to vote dot org
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: to get more information on your polling places. And coming
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: up at forty nine minutes after the hour, it is
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the last break of the day and us Steves Yes,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks right after this, you're listening to show.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: All right, Georgia, it's on you. It is on you.

- 1:20:46Speaker 1: is upon us. Let's go Georgia vote for Reverend Rafael
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Warnock and John Ausoft. Let's do this er, bring it home.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Let's come in a job, finish the time. We here,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: we here, we can get it done. We don't hear it.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Ask you to go vote to please asking you to
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: go vote, because you make a difference. Every single vote counts.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Your one vote turns into thousands. Listen to me. Your
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: one vote turns into thousands, Those thousands of votes turns
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: into hundreds of thousands, and one hundred thousand votes turns
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: into a million. Your one vote turns into thousands of votes.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Go vote. And they're also saying too. If you're in
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: the line at buy seven pm in the polling places,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you know they're saying they're going to close at seven pm.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: You can still vote. Go get in line, Do not
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: get out of line. These are your rights, your rights.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: You are in line. It ain't your fault. They will
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: give the cutoff point, but you will get to vote.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Go get in line today, no matter what it takes.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Y'all stand there. Remember the price we paid, the ultimate
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: price for us to vote. Remember the people who die
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: right for us to best to vote. That's right, that's right.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Got on bridges and and and and vans turned over
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: in buses, that's set on five and they're ches. Remember
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: all lunch counters all remember that all we gotta do
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: is go stand in line. That's that's our duty, that's
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: our obligation. Right. And you know, Steve I was listening
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: to Stacy Abrams and she was saying that this time around,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: for this special election, a lot of of our young
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: people turned eighteen, so they're legally able to vote in
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: this election. Yeah. And a lot of the people that
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: didn't vote in the November third election voted in this
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: election as well. So I just want to say to
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: the young people who this is their first time voting,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: it's a great honor and a great feeling. You don't
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: know how you'll feel after you vote because you've never
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: done it before. It's a great feeling just to know
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that you've done your part. So do it for that
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: as well. Let your voice be heard. Yeah, yeah, sure, yeah,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: do it. It feels good, it really does. It is
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: a good film. Yeah, that's a good point. Sense of accomplishment, accomplishment. Yeah,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it's just funny how the whole country we are now
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: looking to George. Yeah, Georgia's focus. Yes, you know what.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I was excited that it was on me. Oh, you know,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: it's on it's on me. Yeah, a lot of my partners.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Come on, Steve Man, y'all got to pull this thing out.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: We did everything in our power on this radio show.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Our radio show was committed to voting. We were committed
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to turning out the vote. We can be proud of
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: our effort. A k. Nobody said, well, you know, y'all
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: could have spent more time. No, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: We spent maximum time on this show discussing voting. Yes,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: we never let up, even even though the shows over
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: the break had voting messages all in it. Yes, and
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: then look too at the same time, you know, look,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: even though we pushed and we pushed it, we pleaded
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: and pleaded and bagged and implored and everything like that. Look, man,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you got to want
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: to care to now. Yeah, you know you have to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: want to make a difference to you. Look, you can't
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: make another person want something. You just can't, you know, man,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I like I used to try so hard to implore
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: people to become successful. And I started looking around and
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: my wife and I were having a real serious Thomas
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: h right after New Year's Eve, and when we were
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: talking about why is it that some people just won't
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: try hard? There now we're talking about people who have
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: the means to try harder. I'm not talking about people
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: who've fallen on hard times as homeless. I'm not talking
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: about people who didn't get a fair crack in life.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: I'm talking about just the person who don't want to
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: try harder. Look, you can't make a person want to
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: be successful. They have to wake up and want it
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: for themselves. You know, you gotta have something, Man, you
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: make one step here and make two. I can't make
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: you do the work. You have to do the work.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I can't make you desire to. Man, I can't make
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you or force you to desire a better life. You
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: have to want to desire that. I can't do it, man. Yeah,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and and and it's hard. It's been a it's been
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: a tough one for us because we want people so
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: desperately to get it. But on this last day of voting,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: on such an important day, you can decide today. You
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: know what I was gonna set this out. I'm going
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: down here and vote. I'm gonna go down here and
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: make a difference. It's never too late to do the
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: right thing. You have time to get up and go vote.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: You can go vote today. Your vote will make a
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: huge difference. Go stand in that line. Don't talk about well,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: you know, if they're gonna win. They're gonna win now.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: They're gonna win if we vote. That's right. If if
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: we do our Leffler and Produe gonna be in there
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: and they don't give a damn about you. I promise you,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: they don't. I promise you they don't. They don't live
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: in your neighborhood, they don't live your lifestyle. They never
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: had your lifestyle. Leffler can talk to all as I
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: was a farm girl, you had money. Get out of here.
