The conflict with Iran raises the question: when will it reach a conclusion? Iran appears to be employing a strategy of delay, extending peace negotiations indefinitely. For Americans, the primary concern remains the outcome. Currently, Iran's economy is paralyzed because its vital oil exports have ceased. The nation remains in a state of stagnation as long as the Strait of Hormuz stays closed; if oil production does not resume shortly, the wells themselves risk becoming permanently non-functional.
