- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:10Speaker 1: a suit, looking back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milking buck things in the cubbing me through
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it, Steh to move to other steam. Please, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join rad join me in doing me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:42Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fad uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will come on and everybody, y'all listen to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice. Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey uh got a radio show. Yep, yep. Sometimes
- 2:17Speaker 1: I saw all I can say. Yelp, Man, how far
- 2:20Speaker 1: I've come is really unbelievable. But you know I finally
- 2:23Speaker 1: figured it out. Man. God allowed me to have the
- 2:30Speaker 1: life I've had so that I can become experienced at
- 2:35Speaker 1: so many different things. And then this experience when I'm
- 2:38Speaker 1: talking and sharing with people, I will be able to
- 2:42Speaker 1: relate to a lot of different circumstances, not exact, but
- 2:45Speaker 1: just the circumstances. You know. You know, if a person
- 2:49Speaker 1: comes to men they said, man, I've been down and out. Okay,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Well I know what that is. Man, I didn't. I
- 2:54Speaker 1: didn't have any direction. Okay, got that been there, man
- 2:59Speaker 1: at one point in time, and I just kept piling
- 3:01Speaker 1: mistake on top of mistakes. Okay, So you know, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: think what I'm trying to say to everybody is when
- 3:10Speaker 1: you're going through life and life is dealing the cards
- 3:15Speaker 1: that it deals, I want you to understand that life
- 3:18Speaker 1: deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 1: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 1: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 1: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:55Speaker 1: to time, one more time, it's how you play them,
- 3:58Speaker 1: you know. From time to time when I'm why TV
- 4:01Speaker 1: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's really weird,
- 4:10Speaker 1: what's happened to a sport? To a poker? They're actually
- 4:14Speaker 1: trying to call it a sport, you know, And as
- 4:16Speaker 1: the everyday guy that doesn't have to be athletically inclined
- 4:20Speaker 1: to anything who has a shot of winning a title
- 4:25Speaker 1: if they play their cards right. The best poker players
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the world don't have the best hands, They just
- 4:34Speaker 1: make the best plays. I've seen guys win a hand
- 4:38Speaker 1: with nine two in their hand as nothing and win
- 4:42Speaker 1: their hand because they knew the bluff, they knew the odds,
- 4:47Speaker 1: they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher than the
- 4:51Speaker 1: other person was willing to pay. They gave off the
- 4:55Speaker 1: illusion that they had something with an actuality. They had nothing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So what I what I enjoy about poker and watching
- 5:04Speaker 1: it is that these people, these people here, played the
- 5:10Speaker 1: hand they dealt and it ain't always a good hand.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But it ain't whether your hand is good. And it
- 5:16Speaker 1: ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards or not,
- 5:18Speaker 1: because you're gonna get dealt some bad cars. Everybody ain't
- 5:21Speaker 1: gonna get two bullets in their hand. You ain't gonna
- 5:23Speaker 1: get two aces when you get dealt. Uh. You know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: when you play a draw poker, some of your cards
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna be nothing. But you got to turn that nothing
- 5:31Speaker 1: into something. So when you get dealt these cards in life,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it ain't the fact that you get keep getting them dealt.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was talking with a young person yesterday and we
- 5:40Speaker 1: were talking, and we keep having the same conversation over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over and over, and they could not understand why
- 5:46Speaker 1: they were not moving forward. But I said, you don't understand.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Every time we talk we have the exact same conversation.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It is simply because you keep getting your cards and
- 5:58Speaker 1: you playing them the same way. See, until you make
- 6:01Speaker 1: a conscientious different, the conscious decision to do something different,
- 6:07Speaker 1: the results will continue to be the same. See here's
- 6:14Speaker 1: the way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments in life,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's how you handle the disappointments that determined the outcome
- 6:22Speaker 1: and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment, Everybody
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna lose a love one, Everybody gonna make a bad decision,
- 6:29Speaker 1: Everybody gonna end wake up one morning they have done
- 6:32Speaker 1: something they regret it. Everybody gonna get caught at the
- 6:35Speaker 1: wrong time. Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It ain't
- 6:40Speaker 1: just you. That is how you play your cards when
- 6:42Speaker 1: they get dealt to you, that determine who you are.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Na how do I play my cards better? First of all,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the end.
- 6:53Speaker 1: When it happens to you. Oh lord, woe is me? Nah,
- 6:57Speaker 1: everybody got your circle stances somewhere. It ain't old. Woe
- 7:02Speaker 1: is me. It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play
- 7:05Speaker 1: this out to see how God the connected this to
- 7:08Speaker 1: something else. See. As soon as a person have a setback,
- 7:11Speaker 1: what's the first thing A lot of people do. They
- 7:13Speaker 1: go straight negative. I can't see him to get a break.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I can't see him move forward. Hold on, man, do
- 7:18Speaker 1: you realize this could be connected to something? See you
- 7:22Speaker 1: got to understand, man, that this thing is all connected.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That you're not having these mishaps and these spills and
- 7:28Speaker 1: accidents and falls for no reason. It's so you can
- 7:31Speaker 1: become experienced at them. So when he takes you to
- 7:34Speaker 1: the next level, when it happens again, you have no
- 7:36Speaker 1: how and how to handle it. If you keep throwing
- 7:39Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff every time something happened, you're just
- 7:43Speaker 1: gonna be a cliff diver. Man, Stop tripping yourself out.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I was talking to this young person, I kept saying,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and you know what they tried to tell me. I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: trying to stay positive. But the people around here, they're
- 7:55Speaker 1: just killing that. Oh I see. So when you learn
- 7:59Speaker 1: something and you know something, you don't take ownership of it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You allow other people to come into what you know
- 8:06Speaker 1: and believe and shake it loose from you. I don't
- 8:09Speaker 1: care who you are. You're not doing me like that.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Here's a deal. I have a gift that was given
- 8:14Speaker 1: to me from God. That is the gift of comedy.
- 8:16Speaker 1: That's what I've done. I've made the bulk of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: living on that skill set. Right there. That are comedians
- 8:24Speaker 1: who are supposedly friends of mine, who I've worked with,
- 8:26Speaker 1: who get around in huddles with one another and they say, man,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Steve really ain't funny. I don't see what they'd be
- 8:32Speaker 1: laughing at. He ain't funny to me. He wasn't the
- 8:35Speaker 1: funniest king to me. Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this
- 8:40Speaker 1: conversation because I regardless as to how you feel about me.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That are people think that I'm knocked down kill over funny.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But more importantly, I own the gift that God gave
- 8:51Speaker 1: to me. I take ownership of his blessing. Because you
- 8:55Speaker 1: don't think it so, you ain't taking that from me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Stop letting people steal your joy. Stop letting people take
- 9:02Speaker 1: what you're supposed to know. Look I'm a I'm a
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a kind person at heart. Man, You
- 9:08Speaker 1: ain't nothing now, you said if you're going, man, I
- 9:10Speaker 1: guess I ain't what you're tripping for. You are a
- 9:13Speaker 1: kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop letting
- 9:20Speaker 1: things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The devil's a cold player, and he got cold players
- 9:26Speaker 1: working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker. Man.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It came in here and said I was stupid. Man,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 1: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership when
- 9:46Speaker 1: God gives you something, blesses you would have gifted talent,
- 9:49Speaker 1: a skill set, a mindset. Own it. Don't let people
- 9:53Speaker 1: come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't do with it. You're listening two two three.
- 10:06Speaker 1: When you think of a love, you gotta get it
- 10:09Speaker 1: on whom your mind? Come on, when you think of love, yeah,
- 10:16Speaker 1: gotta get it on who your mind? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 1: yeah yeah, old schooling and balked back. No, that was it.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That's it? Yeah, I can do a third one, but
- 10:28Speaker 1: I won't do one more. Give me one more. When
- 10:31Speaker 1: you think of love, get it on you mind? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: yeah yeah. Blop the mike, no, pop down, enjoya Dennis,
- 10:52Speaker 1: You're loud Jack wherever you're going, followed Shirley Strawberry, Hey, Steve,

- 11:18Speaker 1: on my man. You need to make up your mind. Dog.

- 11:30Speaker 1: to be drinking, big dogging dog. Okay, bop top is
- 11:40Speaker 1: he a vegan or not? He just said, he just

- 12:00Speaker 1: that's a miserable exist, isn't it. Now. I haven't had
- 12:07Speaker 1: chicken in a long time. I get in the uber
- 12:08Speaker 1: the other day, Lay say you were eating chicken. I'm like,
- 12:10Speaker 1: how much chicken have I did? I still smell like chicken.

- 12:38Speaker 1: me all right, Yeah, I didn't want to go watched
- 12:46Speaker 1: her workout. It was exhausting. Then we went to breakfast
- 12:50Speaker 1: after that, nice little time together. And then I've been
- 12:54Speaker 1: in the house every minute since then. Only feel good.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I love being in the hospital. You didn't do anything.

- 13:20Speaker 1: if you it is in the sun. It wasn't bad.
- 13:22Speaker 1: You know, this wasn't crazy. It's hotter in Atlanta than

- 14:05Speaker 1: And you don't see me, y'all see time me. You

- 17:32Speaker 1: That's old black, old black. I ain't so much meat.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I got the gout. Yeah, did you did you cut
- 17:41Speaker 1: a hole in your shoe because your toad swoll up?

- 17:50Speaker 1: I cannot. I got it, I got it. I got
- 17:53Speaker 1: found this great lady that does manicures and pedicures. But
- 18:00Speaker 1: I had to talk to her. Cast her hands be cold? Yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 1: And last time she did my feet, her hands was freezing.

- 18:14Speaker 1: my hands are cold, I said, yes, ma'am, they're real cold.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And when you separate my big toe from the rest
- 18:22Speaker 1: of his friends like that, I say, it's already traumatic
- 18:26Speaker 1: where it can't be as cold. God, I've never heard
- 18:33Speaker 1: no one's ever said that to me. I don't give
- 18:35Speaker 1: a damn what they said. You need to heat your
- 18:38Speaker 1: hands up. Didn't she do it? Yeah? Yeah, first time
- 18:43Speaker 1: she came out. How is that? I said, no, warm up,
- 18:46Speaker 1: that's cool. I wish I had the bull let's foot out. No,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you can't jay your foot look shacks foot. No, man
- 18:53Speaker 1: like his foot looked like shacks foot. Yes, oh yes, yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 1: you bring this for that. Come look at foot, come out,
- 19:05Speaker 1: come out back in the salon, and everybody'll just file
- 19:14Speaker 1: it down. Don't worry about whether I can feel it.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Just somebody, somebody asked Tommy, does he had pretty feet?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Because I think it will come come across wrong if
- 19:23Speaker 1: I say it, because you know you're gorge Oh they're
- 19:27Speaker 1: absolutely gorgeous. Your feet gorgeous. Yeah, they're gorgeous. Gorgeous. You're pedicured. Yeah, man, junior,
- 19:42Speaker 1: you get your toes done, right, I get them done
- 19:44Speaker 1: once a month. But they ain't gorgeous. I still got
- 19:47Speaker 1: that bunion on that big toe. Man. Yeah, I gott
- 19:53Speaker 1: it's just straight skin a little on the baby towel. Yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 1: you just paint. You know they got procedious for that.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You know you you can fix that. Nothing. We go
- 20:01Speaker 1: from I don't know barbecue toes. No, I don't. I
- 20:09Speaker 1: just because I wanted. Because Tommy's opinion of himself it's
- 20:13Speaker 1: always way higher than anybody else of him. He thinks
- 20:18Speaker 1: his toes are gorgeous. Yeah, gorge ain't no damage on
- 20:22Speaker 1: your foot nowhere. I'm the uglass shelf feeding. Let me

- 22:17Speaker 1: pretty good. Okay, Now there's there's there's no situation where
- 22:20Speaker 1: you guys may be a shortage of food or anything
- 22:23Speaker 1: like that. Are you uh a short as the food? No, sir,
- 22:28Speaker 1: my husband works real good. We don't have a problem

- 22:35Speaker 1: and look Levinus too, Yes, sir, have you looked at
- 22:39Speaker 1: the comparison of two year olds the majority of two
- 22:42Speaker 1: year olds, and in comparison to I guess I should
- 22:45Speaker 1: say size in comparison to divine side. You mean like
- 22:49Speaker 1: in body way body size. Yeah, I mean he's a
- 22:52Speaker 1: little tall. You know, he wasn't a small chap when
- 22:54Speaker 1: he's Barney was ten pounds. But no, he's on the
- 22:57Speaker 1: scale of right where he should be. He's just a little,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you know, taller because his daddy is tall. But he's
- 23:03Speaker 1: doing okay, So you're you don't think he's anywhere in
- 23:07Speaker 1: the in the ballpark of of of of obesity at two?
- 23:12Speaker 1: You mean fat? I mean I didn't want to be blunt,
- 23:15Speaker 1: but but but miss Cathy, you're I mean, I mean
- 23:19Speaker 1: your sons. Let me just say, on a Sunday, I'm
- 23:22Speaker 1: relaxing and we're talking about you think my son is
- 23:26Speaker 1: a little overweight or what he's what's the problem. Well,
- 23:29Speaker 1: I think he's fat, and the problem I'm gonna I'm
- 23:32Speaker 1: noticing the records of everything that's wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 23:35Speaker 1: we need to back up to you think he's fat.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I've never spoken to you, mister Kirby. Is that what
- 23:40Speaker 1: she said? My name is Kirby. Okay, so every morning
- 23:43Speaker 1: that I dropped him off for a year, and I
- 23:45Speaker 1: give my daycare money. Miss Benita has never said anything
- 23:49Speaker 1: about his eating habits. So you're telling me that you
- 23:51Speaker 1: think my son is fat with him, you deal with
- 23:54Speaker 1: him on a daily basis. I don't deal with him
- 23:56Speaker 1: on a daily basis. What I'm looking at as records
- 23:58Speaker 1: that are showing me that he's eating way more than
- 24:01Speaker 1: the rest of anybody at the daycare. And not only that,
- 24:04Speaker 1: he's drinking probably a gallon of milk a day, a
- 24:07Speaker 1: gallon the milk. Y'all only get snacks two times a
- 24:10Speaker 1: day and he's there only for breakfast and lunch, And
- 24:13Speaker 1: how in the hell is he drinking a gallon of milk?
- 24:15Speaker 1: And if he is, ma'am. But all I know is this, no, No,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm blown away by this because you calling me on
- 24:22Speaker 1: a Sunday, calling my damn child fat. That's the problem.
- 24:25Speaker 1: And your wife has never said a damn thing. Never
- 24:28Speaker 1: has she said one thing to me in a year
- 24:30Speaker 1: when she collecting my damn daycare money. She ain't said
- 24:32Speaker 1: my son is eating y'all at a house at home. Okay, Well,
- 24:35Speaker 1: you know, my wife's a different person, and she tries
- 24:37Speaker 1: to be cordial with everyone. He's the one who deals
- 24:39Speaker 1: with me. Mister Kirby, I've never met you, never met you.
- 24:42Speaker 1: It special all of a Sunday. The reason why I'm
- 24:44Speaker 1: calling you on a Sunday, ma'am, is that I know
- 24:47Speaker 1: tomorrow if you're gonna be trying to drop your son off,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I am gonna drop him off. I am. No, No,
- 24:52Speaker 1: that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Here's where we knew that. Here. Either you can keep
- 24:58Speaker 1: him at home. No, I'm not keeping him at home.
- 25:01Speaker 1: My husband works and I work. I'm dropping my damn
- 25:04Speaker 1: son off at six thirty like I do every morning,
- 25:07Speaker 1: ma'am listening if we can't get him, if you really
- 25:12Speaker 1: want to get this banita on the side, because obviously
- 25:14Speaker 1: you ain't the one that need to be talking to me,
- 25:15Speaker 1: because if you're not there every day, and I did
- 25:18Speaker 1: with your wife, I'm telling you that your son is
- 25:20Speaker 1: too big to be is coming every morning. If that's
- 25:25Speaker 1: the case, and if he's eating at a house at home,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'll send him some extra, but what I pay my
- 25:30Speaker 1: money for is what you're gonna feed him for two
- 25:33Speaker 1: full meals and two snacks. And if he needs extra,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'll put some in his bag. But he's drinking a
- 25:39Speaker 1: gallon of milk a day. Are you looking there? I
- 25:42Speaker 1: don't care. There's no way possible that he can drink
- 25:44Speaker 1: a gallon of milk a day. Y'all. Here's here's, here's
- 25:47Speaker 1: the deal. I don't want you to have to stop
- 25:48Speaker 1: bringing your son now, and I'm not and I'm not.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Here's my second alternative. I will put him on a diet. Okay,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I'll give him an apple in the day. You ain't, no,
- 25:57Speaker 1: damn hum ain't. Are you from these food program I will.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I will give him an apple and a glass of
- 26:03Speaker 1: water in the morning, and I'll give him an apple
- 26:05Speaker 1: and a glass of water in the evening, and then
- 26:06Speaker 1: you guys can feed him when he gets home. You
- 26:08Speaker 1: must be certified in the food program, especially if you're
- 26:11Speaker 1: sitting the pare telling me my damn son is going
- 26:12Speaker 1: on a diet and he's not drinking no water and
- 26:15Speaker 1: no apple. He needs a full snack. If the other
- 26:19Speaker 1: kids is having an apple and water, then that's what
- 26:21Speaker 1: you better be serving him. But if that ain't the
- 26:23Speaker 1: case in here, I'll know he better get the full snack.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So if that's Graham crackers and apple juice. Well, damn it,
- 26:27Speaker 1: that's what my son better be getting. And if he
- 26:29Speaker 1: won't astra, he better get it. I'm listening. All I'm
- 26:31Speaker 1: trying to tell you is your son drink two months?
- 26:34Speaker 1: He drinks two Oh whoa, whoa, whoa. You need to
- 26:38Speaker 1: back at the top. I know you did not cussing me.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I know. Ready to cut to me. Let me tell
- 26:46Speaker 1: you what. You ain't got to worry about it. We
- 26:48Speaker 1: don't have nothing else to talking about. My husband, me,
- 26:51Speaker 1: your wife, and everybody that works at damn daycare better
- 26:55Speaker 1: be there in the morning because that's six thirty. We
- 26:57Speaker 1: gonna be there, and my son he's coming all week
- 27:01Speaker 1: and he gonna eat all week. If he walked two
- 27:04Speaker 1: gallons of milk, he gonna drink it. If he walked
- 27:06Speaker 1: two plates of food, he gonna get it. Because I
- 27:09Speaker 1: tell you what, we say them good money to come
- 27:11Speaker 1: to that daycare. So you're gonna bring your child up
- 27:15Speaker 1: there now. I will put your child on swim fast.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I was trying not to give him to suspected, but
- 27:20Speaker 1: I will ask give him some slim fast, and you're
- 27:23Speaker 1: gonna get a slim fast swimping I'm gonna whip y'all
- 27:26Speaker 1: that whoever gave it to him, whoever gave it to him,
- 27:29Speaker 1: they gonna get a slim fast shipping all the little
- 27:31Speaker 1: kids that have some slim fast. If he getting some,
- 27:34Speaker 1: he better eat whatever they eat. And if they eatn't
- 27:35Speaker 1: steak with damn it, he better have some too. If
- 27:37Speaker 1: we had steak, he'd probably eat the whole damn car
- 27:40Speaker 1: he eatn't care I pay for it, but he been
- 27:42Speaker 1: like getting up slim fast. I will shut it down
- 27:46Speaker 1: about my child. Okay, I got something else you need
- 27:48Speaker 1: to know about your son? What the else do I
- 27:51Speaker 1: need to know? Besides you think my son is overweight?
- 27:55Speaker 1: What the helth can you tell me today? I need
- 27:58Speaker 1: to tell you this. I need to tell you that.
- 28:00Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to prank on call you.
- 28:08Speaker 1: What did you just say? What did you just say?
- 28:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna be sad to that she No, I don't
- 28:18Speaker 1: play about my damn son at all. That's my only son.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I don't play about him. I'm gonna be is she there?
- 28:25Speaker 1: Hear me? It's on? After that, it's all it is all. Hey,

- 40:44Speaker 1: when Durant isn't on the team, they are a well
- 40:48Speaker 1: oiled team machine, Man just a machine. Now when it's
- 40:55Speaker 1: the Warriors is playing with Kevin Durant's it's the Durant Show.
- 41:01Speaker 1: But man, when he's not playing that boy, they move around,
- 41:05Speaker 1: they're cutting. It's crazy to watch man. And then and
- 41:09Speaker 1: then Draymond Green becomes an MVP player really Oh yeah, yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 1: he's like a point forward. And what you think? So? Who?
- 41:19Speaker 1: You got five games? Six games? What y'all think? I'd
- 41:22Speaker 1: love to see a seven game series, but I don't
- 41:25Speaker 1: see it. You need all the Golden State to twist.
- 41:28Speaker 1: They ankled in trying. You need everybody on t twister.
- 41:35Speaker 1: You know, everybody show play still and kd all need
- 41:44Speaker 1: to throw the ankle. Yeah. OK, And I just say
- 41:48Speaker 1: this about the playoffs. Mhmm. It's Charles Berkley gonna need
- 41:51Speaker 1: his own table in a minute because he's spreading Hunt's huge.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I like, I mean, I do huge. First of all,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I've been I've been eating I believe, come on, you
- 42:09Speaker 1: know I've been I been having at the game. They
- 42:11Speaker 1: got popcorn, they got hot dogs. I'm eating that. I
- 42:15Speaker 1: they got nacho they go down in their third quarter
- 42:17Speaker 1: getting Natcho. They got everything down there. They go, you're
- 42:21Speaker 1: gonna get white and mean, look where you're at. We're
- 42:25Speaker 1: not in the Golden State. They got good barbecue, Korean
- 42:28Speaker 1: barbecue down, they got regular real they got they got
- 42:33Speaker 1: soldier red, they everything. You're gonna get big if you

- 43:03Speaker 1: I ain't butting the sixtin. That's when it started. You

- 43:15Speaker 1: the game. They got more rids, they's got most subsages.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Can't you know? They got sting shaking they got So
- 43:26Speaker 1: that's what I think it's gonna happen. I don't even
- 43:28Speaker 1: care about the Do you have food under the table
- 43:33Speaker 1: while you're doing the time? I have food not only
- 43:36Speaker 1: under the table, but I pulled us subway out in
- 43:39Speaker 1: my shoe last week. Ain't that right then? Or a
- 43:43Speaker 1: commercial break? But I really you know, my collection. I

- 44:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:22Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:26Speaker 1: letter for today, the subject You're never too old to
- 44:30Speaker 1: get played. Yeah. Yeah, But right now the nephew in
- 44:35Speaker 1: the building with today's prank phone call, what do you
- 44:37Speaker 1: have for us today? Nap the repo man. Wow, repo man.

- 44:53Speaker 1: repo man. Here it is. Let's run a catch. Hello,
- 44:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to rechange please this hell. Sorry, y'all. My
- 45:01Speaker 1: name is uh Robert. I'm with the collection agency. You
- 45:06Speaker 1: do on a Sierra two thousand and three GMC truck,
- 45:09Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah? Okay. We don't show that we've
- 45:12Speaker 1: had any payments within the last I guess about three
- 45:15Speaker 1: close to four months now, and we want to try
- 45:18Speaker 1: and stop having to come in and repossess it. Maybe
- 45:20Speaker 1: we give you a chance to bring your payment in,
- 45:22Speaker 1: but we haven't had a payment from you in about
- 45:24Speaker 1: four months, sir, na truck, I ain't financially with the
- 45:28Speaker 1: other the other thing, I don't, I don't. I don't
- 45:31Speaker 1: know what's in the moment. Yeah, I've been planning all
- 45:33Speaker 1: the time. It's directed product from our call. We're about that. Well. Uh,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm with they've they've turned you over to us. I'm
- 45:39Speaker 1: with collection agency, and we haven't gotten anything from I don't.

- 45:46Speaker 1: computer at all that we've had any payments made within
- 45:49Speaker 1: the last four months. So that's why they've been panning
- 45:52Speaker 1: it all. I don't already turned it over to y'all
- 45:53Speaker 1: without my permission. They can't never tell my time and
- 45:56Speaker 1: my truck over to y'all to pay y'all. I don't
- 45:58Speaker 1: even know. Well, I understand that, sir. What happens is
- 46:00Speaker 1: if you haven't paid it in a certain amount of time,
- 46:02Speaker 1: it actually comes over to the collection agency. And that's
- 46:04Speaker 1: what they've done. They've actually sent it over to us. UH.
- 46:07Speaker 1: They've given us uh pretty much all the information on you.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I guess it's a gold this type of color UH.
- 46:13Speaker 1: CR two thousand and three GMC truck from my understanding,
- 46:15Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah, that's my truck. Okay. Um, Now,

- 46:21Speaker 1: you to come in uh and make a payment to
- 46:24Speaker 1: us this evening for four months so we can see
- 46:27Speaker 1: so we don't have to come in and repossess your truck.
- 46:28Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to do that, but
- 46:30Speaker 1: if I have to send a record out there to you,
- 46:32Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't
- 46:34Speaker 1: want to have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Y'all not coming here my truck. And I'm not paying
- 46:40Speaker 1: y'all for for new full months. I'm gonna saying my

- 46:45Speaker 1: don't want to get in a back and forth with you,
- 46:47Speaker 1: but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'll come out there and repossess it myself. But I'm
- 46:52Speaker 1: telling you, look, that's not not even where we gotta
- 46:57Speaker 1: go with that. Don't be you don't need to be

- 47:17Speaker 1: pay my truck note and and that's a fun I
- 47:20Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know who are you. Let's get
- 47:22Speaker 1: I've already stated to you before I'm with an agency.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And let's get one thing straight. You don't tell me

- 47:40Speaker 1: to get my truck. You come on here. Sure, I'm
- 47:42Speaker 1: already aware of where you work in the whole nine yards. Now,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I don't I'm trying to be as uh cardied with
- 47:49Speaker 1: you as I can. Now you can clone you're talking
- 47:51Speaker 1: about I'm gonna get my trouble. I tell you, I'll
- 47:53Speaker 1: be saying. So you know you should have dropped down
- 47:55Speaker 1: and be like all right, I'm gonna check with somebody.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I sen check with somebody else to make sure I'm right.
- 48:00Speaker 1: It didn't call me, batter. I'm telling you you haven't
- 48:02Speaker 1: paid anything. That's what I'm telling you. I've got it
- 48:05Speaker 1: listed on the computer. You've been turned over an agency
- 48:08Speaker 1: and you haven't done it. You haven't done a thing.
- 48:11Speaker 1: What are you? Stupid? You? You you're raising your press
- 48:14Speaker 1: scream in a hall over the phone like that because
- 48:16Speaker 1: they ain't gonna do me me? Are you no good?
- 48:18Speaker 1: But you ain't get no money from me? Then you
- 48:20Speaker 1: ain't coming from my truck. What a matter of fact,
- 48:22Speaker 1: you could come from my truck. I'm gonna be on
- 48:24Speaker 1: my trunk. I'm gonna wait on you. What are you
- 48:26Speaker 1: gonna be there? It doesn't make any difference, sir. You

- 49:30Speaker 1: got one more thing I want to say to you
- 49:31Speaker 1: before you go. Are you listening? This is Nephew Timing
- 49:36Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 49:40Speaker 1: by you got you got on my teacher? Man? You
- 49:51Speaker 1: are you all right? Man? No, I'm all right. I'm
- 49:54Speaker 1: gonna talk this roof. Man, I'm talking about cool. I'm
- 50:03Speaker 1: she told me. She told me, man, she said that
- 50:06Speaker 1: boy loved that truck. Yeah, that's my my reputation. Man,
- 50:14Speaker 1: ain't man, Yeah, I gotta ask. I gotta ask you. Man,
- 50:22Speaker 1: Tell me, brother, what is the baddest I'm talking about
- 50:24Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the lane? Repo? Man, Man
- 50:36Speaker 1: can't tell you something sir, I had a repo man
- 50:40Speaker 1: actually tell me one time. He said, kid, you're the
- 50:43Speaker 1: best I've ever hunted for in my twenty five years
- 50:47Speaker 1: of repo. Listen to you the best. You're the best
- 50:53Speaker 1: I've ever and I'm gonna get you one day. But
- 50:58Speaker 1: how lone, you went three years three three years without
- 51:04Speaker 1: a single payment. Where were you parking this car? Hey?
- 51:11Speaker 1: Dog out out the state now? They was looking at Cleveland.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I come here now. And then that told me, though, say,
- 51:21Speaker 1: you're the best. Yeah yeah, that car now the first
- 51:25Speaker 1: car they tried to repoll. I heard it for eight months.
- 51:29Speaker 1: M yeah. I finally got the money and paid it
- 51:32Speaker 1: before they got it, But I heard that one for
- 51:35Speaker 1: eight months. I had some cold moves, man. I would
- 51:39Speaker 1: park in a partner's garage down the street. I would
- 51:42Speaker 1: park behind the grocery store sixteen blocks away, or take
- 51:48Speaker 1: my bike off the bike rack and then ride at home.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Or did I ride back down to my car in
- 51:54Speaker 1: the morning. One time to dude follow me on the bike,
- 51:57Speaker 1: He said, I know you're riding to a car. He
- 51:59Speaker 1: followed me on the bike, but I knew who he
- 52:01Speaker 1: was by then. I stopped at the light. He was
- 52:04Speaker 1: behind me. I just turned around on my bike and said, hey, man,
- 52:07Speaker 1: I'm not going to take you to my car. I'm
- 52:09Speaker 1: just telling you that right now, I'm not going to
- 52:13Speaker 1: take you three years long time. I'm the greatest man,
- 52:20Speaker 1: for real, the greatest the goat. Yeah, I'm responsible for
- 52:25Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. You know that sign you see
- 52:27Speaker 1: on the gas pumps, pay before you pay before you pump. Yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'm the reason that that sign exists today. What do
- 52:35Speaker 1: you mean? Yeah? And nineties. Yeah, I stole gas I
- 52:41Speaker 1: was home. Yeah, I created that sign, and you're proud.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I apologize to people for it all the time. That's
- 52:52Speaker 1: why he can't run for nothing? Right, rules have changed,
- 52:57Speaker 1: looks and run. And when i'm convinced, I'm convinced. You know,
- 53:05Speaker 1: the rules are different for us. So yeah, this is true.
- 53:11Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, nephew. Coming up next, it is

- 53:45Speaker 1: buck it up, hold on tight, we got it for you. Here.
- 53:47Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject You're
- 53:52Speaker 1: never too old to get played. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 53:56Speaker 1: have dated a man for the past several months, and
- 54:00Speaker 1: you will not believe what happened over the holiday weekend.
- 54:03Speaker 1: He told me that he had plans to go out
- 54:05Speaker 1: of town with his buddy since we had a long weekend.
- 54:08Speaker 1: He said his phone service might be sketchy while he
- 54:11Speaker 1: was driving, so he would call me when he could.
- 54:14Speaker 1: He left town Thursday morning and everything was cool until
- 54:17Speaker 1: Friday morning at nine am, when he called me. I
- 54:22Speaker 1: was surprised to hear from him, but he sounded a
- 54:24Speaker 1: lot different. He asked me, Hey, Cynthia, can you do
- 54:28Speaker 1: me a favor? I replied yes, What is it? He
- 54:32Speaker 1: asked me if I could speak to someone that is
- 54:35Speaker 1: very special to him, named Bridget. He said he needed
- 54:39Speaker 1: me to tell Bridget that he and I are just
- 54:42Speaker 1: friends and we've been out to dinner once and that
- 54:44Speaker 1: was it. So Bridget got on the phone and said hello.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I asked her why she wanted to talk to me.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Wasn't to find out what's really going on with me
- 54:53Speaker 1: and this man? She said, yes, tell her everything. So
- 54:57Speaker 1: I told her that we are not in a relationship,
- 55:00Speaker 1: but we have had a lot of great sex and
- 55:03Speaker 1: he was just in my bed on Thursday morning before
- 55:05Speaker 1: he left town. Okay, Bridget had the phone on speaker
- 55:12Speaker 1: and I could hear him in the background saying I
- 55:14Speaker 1: was lying. I hung up after that, and I was
- 55:17Speaker 1: in total shock. This man is sixty four years old
- 55:22Speaker 1: and he's still playing games. I feel bad for being
- 55:26Speaker 1: so rude to Bridget, but it's not her fault. Women
- 55:29Speaker 1: Get played all the time. He texted me to say
- 55:32Speaker 1: that he would deal with me when he got back
- 55:35Speaker 1: to town. I'm no fool, but I do want to
- 55:39Speaker 1: hear what he has to say. Should I hear him
- 55:41Speaker 1: out or just move on and let him and Bridget
- 55:44Speaker 1: deal with these issues. Yeah, you just answered your own question. Yeah,
- 55:48Speaker 1: move on and let him in Bridget deal with these issues,
- 55:50Speaker 1: because obviously he and Bridget have some kind of relationship
- 55:54Speaker 1: going on. He said she was very special to him. Yeah,
- 55:57Speaker 1: if he put her on the phone to talk to you.
- 56:03Speaker 1: It is very special. Okay, it is very very special.
- 56:06Speaker 1: And I hope you know that you're the one that's
- 56:09Speaker 1: getting played here. Okay, he's sixty four years old. Yes,
- 56:12Speaker 1: he's still playing games. Why are you feeling so bad
- 56:15Speaker 1: for Bridget when he's with her? I think you got it.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Twist it, okay. I mean your first clue was when
- 56:23Speaker 1: he said his phone service might be sketchy while he's driving.
- 56:26Speaker 1: He's going away for the weekend. Your radar should have
- 56:29Speaker 1: went off, A red flag should have gone up when
- 56:32Speaker 1: he called you and said, Hey, Cynthia, can you do
- 56:35Speaker 1: me a favor? Could you speak to someone very special
- 56:38Speaker 1: to him named Bridget? I mean none of this was
- 56:40Speaker 1: clicking with you. Yeah, let him go. Move on with
- 56:43Speaker 1: your life, girl, don't allow him to play you any longer.
- 56:46Speaker 1: You left a lot out of this letter. I'll tell
- 56:48Speaker 1: you that Bridget, who is she? Did you find out
- 56:51Speaker 1: who she was to him? And what are you to him?
- 56:55Speaker 1: You guys have only been dating for the past several months,
- 56:57Speaker 1: so it's obviously it's obvious not very serious. Again, you've
- 57:02Speaker 1: answered your own question. You don't have to hear him out.
- 57:05Speaker 1: You don't need to hear what he has to say.
- 57:07Speaker 1: It's obvious Bridget is special to him. You're not move on.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Let him and Bridget deal with these issues, Steve, all right,
- 57:15Speaker 1: let me just clear something over with this letter before
- 57:17Speaker 1: we get too far down the road. When he left
- 57:22Speaker 1: town Thursday, everything was cool until Friday morning at nine am,
- 57:28Speaker 1: when he called me. I was surprised to hear from him.
- 57:32Speaker 1: He sounded. He asked me, Hey, Cynthia, can you do
- 57:36Speaker 1: me a favor? I said, yes. What he asked me
- 57:39Speaker 1: if I could speak to someone that's very special to
- 57:42Speaker 1: him named Bridget. He said he needed me to tell
- 57:46Speaker 1: Bridget that he and I are just friends and we've
- 57:48Speaker 1: been out to dinner once and that was it. Now,
- 57:51Speaker 1: let's understand something. He didn't just put Bridget on the
- 57:56Speaker 1: phone down, Nobody do that. He had to put Bridget
- 58:03Speaker 1: on the phone cause Bridget found something in his phone
- 58:09Speaker 1: and said, who the hell is Cynthia. That's the only
- 58:15Speaker 1: way this man called you With the woman right there,
- 58:21Speaker 1: it's the owner. If she don't mean nothing to you,
- 58:24Speaker 1: prove it called her and that's how you got a
- 58:28Speaker 1: phone call. Let's not be stupid. He let's not be naive.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Let's not get played. He put Bridget on the phone
- 58:38Speaker 1: because he told Bridget y'all was just friends. When he
- 58:44Speaker 1: put you on the phone, though, he even gave you
- 58:47Speaker 1: instructions as to what he wanted you to do. He
- 58:50Speaker 1: said he needed you to tell Bridget that him and
- 58:55Speaker 1: Hub that him and you just friends and y'all out
- 59:00Speaker 1: to dinner one time, and that was it. That's what
- 59:05Speaker 1: he asked you to tell him. But oh no, that
- 59:12Speaker 1: ain't what see not. Let me when we come back,
- 59:18Speaker 1: we're gonna get down to the bottom of the letter.
- 59:22Speaker 1: He said. He texts me to say that he would
- 59:26Speaker 1: deal with me when he got back in time. What
- 59:31Speaker 1: I'm no fool, but I want to hear what he
- 59:33Speaker 1: has to say. Girl. What I'm gonna give you two
- 59:37Speaker 1: things he gonna say right away, Hey, really, thank you
- 59:41Speaker 1: for your support to me, that you would step up
- 59:45Speaker 1: to the plate for me. But then you're gonna do
- 59:47Speaker 1: not the second half of his conversation gonna be that
- 59:50Speaker 1: is not what I asked you to say. You know it.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I ask your ass one time, what is all call
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: that thought? Steve? Okay, we'll have you roll for that.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You're never too old to Get played. We'll get back
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. Subject You're never too old
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to get played. You know this woman. I don't know
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: how she is, but to do she dating his sixty
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: four Oh, he had to go out of town with
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: some buddies. Said his phone service gonna be sketchy, so
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: he had called you when he These is twenty four
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: ye old lines he using at sixty four. I'm going
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: with some friends. But look at bay phone serve. It
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: gonna be sketchy when I'm trying. How you know that?
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: But so I talk to you when I get back.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: He thirsy morning. Everything was cool Friday morning, nine am.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: When he called me, I was surprised to hear from
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: see you wasn't even looking to hear from him. He
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: was not even gonna call you this weekend, but see
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: she found something in the phone. He wasn't even gonna
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: call you. That's why he told you it was gonna
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: be sketching. He'll call you when he can. She found

- 1:06:23Speaker 1: for comedy Roulette. Today's categories are things you say to
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: people to help you move. Lies, men tell to get
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: out of the house, lies women tell to get out
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: of the house. Uh huh. And lastly, stuff white people
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: say to black people that they think is really cool.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: All right, Oh yeah, let's spend the wheel, spun it,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: come on, come on, come on, getting at the house,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Come on, women, let's go. Oh it stopped. And stuff
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: white people say the black people that they think is
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: really cool. Let's let's get right into it. Let's get
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: right into it. Here we go. We just sliced uff
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: a whole lot of watermelon. I'm sure you like it.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I'm sure you like it. So um, do all of
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you all know the hip hop thing? Oh? Y'all know
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: hip hop? Don't you? White people say the black people
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: that they think is really cool. I really want my
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I really want my lips to look like yours. Really.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Piggie wasn't small at all. White people
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: say the black people that they think is really I
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: don't really mean to be out of line, but could
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I just touch your ass? Just touch? Let me ask
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: you something. I don't really know you guys that well.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: But do you all have chicken farms? Hey, dude, listen,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: if you ever really want it, you know I can
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: teach you how to swim? They think, Yeah, I'll tell
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: you this first lady doesn't compare to yours. I know
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: that was a deep one. Yeah, so let me get
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: this right. You went to college, but not on a
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: basketball scholarship. All right, Steve Clay, who's the daddy? Yeah,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I'll just tell you I'm perfectly fine with another African
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: American president. Yeah, I have a problem with the one
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: we had all right. Thanks. Guys coming up coming up
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, who encouraged you to
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: shave your bald head or your balding head at that time?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: We'll find out at the top of the hour. Right
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: John Travolta has been bald for a few months now,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and he said, yeah, yeah, come on, John, you us okay,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: but he became friends with a pit bull. And you know,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: all of you guys who do this have got to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: stick together, you know. John Travolta recently said on Jimmy
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Kimmel Alive. He said, all of us guys who shave
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: our heads have to stick together. So both he and
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: his family encouraged it. He said, So, guys, I gotta
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: ask you, guys, with the exception of you, uh Junior,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: what convinced you can? Oh? Oh he he being called.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: We might not have his hand in there, but somebody
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: we can sit on the porch and wait for him
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: because he comes home. I gotta ask you guys, brushing
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: his hands taking less and less time. Oh man, hang,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: not to the curls. You know, girls like the curls.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: You know that. Whatever, Yeah, see Tommy, you ain't tall enough.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: See what I said, you were tall enough? You see waves,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I see I see. No one convince you guys to
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: shave well for me my wife, remember, yeah, Shirley, them
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: came to my house. Her and Known walked in. Didn't
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: say nothing. I'm just ball hitting. I didn't say a
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: damn thing. You see me the video. I liked it,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: he called me. I was in bed resting, he said,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I shaved. My said, no, you didn't. Yeah. I didn't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: fight it alone, Jake, he didn't. No, No, mid twenties,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I didn't fight it, long said Tommy started losing. You
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: know who made it look cool though? Michael Jordan made
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: it look cool. Yeah, Jordan made it look cool. And
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: one more person, George Wallace's mama with that gotee man.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: It was classic where she was, the way she roped it.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Hate him tell it. Savalis made it look cool back,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Yeah he did, he did. Yeah, who told you? I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: looked in the mirror and your hat tells you. Yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I tell you. In the top Shelley, it was really smooth,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: like really and if you can wear a hat, you
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: can get away with it. You know it's doing comedy.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You could just keep a hat on on stage, and
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: then you know, it just got got got to where
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I'm charging myself for a half of a haircut or
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: paying for a half a damn haircut. I'm like, just
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: just shave it off. Ask Julie, it's a fight a guy.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: You don't think, you don't think? What don't mind? Steve
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: asked you what I love good by by two years? Steve,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: you agree to take time to realize it, and he
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: should just shave it off. Let it go. You see
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Tiger Oh yeah, Tiger Woods. Ye come on, yeah, well

- 1:18:38Speaker 1: he took a magic carpet ride at the top of

- 1:19:23Speaker 1: nomination for that. He crushed Ali. Coming up, our last
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: break of the day and some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: one and out least Steve Harvey coming up at forty
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: nine after the hour. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. You have some closing remarks for us.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I know you do. Yeah. I've been talking to you
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: all a few times about this thing that I've started
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: doing every morning, this morning meditation U reas of things
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I do. You don't have to do it now. Everybody
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: has to pick their own way to go about it.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I just decided because of a scripture that I read,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Psalms five and three and Psalms five and three. It
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: just talks about in the morning, and just talk about
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: when you talk to God in the morning, you're asking
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: him to hear your voice. And then after you ask
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: him to hear your voice of everything you pray and
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: talk to him about, asking to show gratitude. You wait
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: in expectation of all these things to happen in your life.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: You know nothing to look, everything you ask im not
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: gonna happen today, but you But you spend your day
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: in the expectation that God is going to do something
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: to move you closer to your goals, your dreams, your visions,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and especially to Him. But what I have learned about
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: this morning meditation and it has bought about a pizza
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: in my life that I've never had before. I'm just
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: sharing it with everybody because I'd like for you all
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: to try it. Look, they got these daily inspiration books
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: all over the place. The one I got is called
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young. It's just
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: a three hundred and sixty five day devotion, or you
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: can pick anyone. You won't you know how they have
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: a little message of the day and then they back
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: it up with a couple of scriptures. And look, man,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I'm not being religious with you at all, because your
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: faith doesn't matter to me. I'm just talking about a method,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: this morning meditation. And what I do is what it
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: does is it is after I get through meditating and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I say the Lord's Prayer and I read my little
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: daily daily inspiration, I got a Bible app and I
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: do my verse to the day, and then I go
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: look it up in the Bible and I look it
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: up in a new Living Testament so I can understand
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the real words. And before I close out, I pull
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: out my list of everything that I'm thanking God for,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: which is a full sheet of paper. And then I
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: have a second sheet of paper, dust stuff I'm asking
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: God for, which is another full sheet of paper. What
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I've learned in this meditation is that it has given
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: me a peace that has transcended my intellect. And what
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I mean by that is what I've discovered. What was
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: happening to me, and it might be happening to a
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: lot of you, is when most of your mental energy
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: goes into trying to figure everything out which I can't
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: tell you how much of my morning I used to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and began to figure every
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: try to figure everything out. When you're trying to figure
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: it out the peace that God can really give you,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you're you're not capable of receiving that because you're in
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the way with your mind set. See you so busy
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: trying to figure it out that you don't leave room
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: for God and what God does. God kind of looks
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: in your head and probably looking at all these thoughts
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: spinning around and round and going nowhere and accomplishing nothing,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: and all the while this piece that He has for
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: me had been kind of hovering over my head, searching
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: for a place to land. But I wasn't giving his
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: peace a place to land in my head because I
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: had it soul jumbled up with thoughts of how to
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: figure it out, what I'm gonna do, who should I call,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: what should I say? How do I respond? And for
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: the past month I'll stopped doing that. All of a
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: suddenly just gave me an incredible peace that he had
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: been trying to give it to me for years. I
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: wish I had learned this a long time ago, but
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: maybe it can help you out the way. It has
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: helped me. But I guess we all learned stuff as
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: we go along. You know, we are all slowly becoming
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the person that we should have been a long time.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I'm a goal. I also learned of late that you
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: it takes your entire life to find out everything there
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: is to find out about yourself. To be who you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: really are takes your entire life. This person that I
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: become has become a person more at peace as all
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the controversy and things swirl around me. God has given
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: me a real calmness in the eye of the hurricane.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: And we all can be the center of the hurricane
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: if we just refuse to step out in the swirl
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: us around us, And it's all around us. It's relative
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to who you are. Some swels appear bigger than other
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: swirls because of the level you've reached in life. Some
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: people might look over there and go, man, that ain't nothing,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: But in a world it could be everything, It could
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: be monumentous. So who am I? Because it's all relative
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: as to where we are. You know, we all got
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: our different crosses to bear. But the one thing I've
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: learned about this morning, meditation has given me a peace
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: beyond my intellect, and it has caused me to just
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: have a calmness that I haven't had in a long time.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: And I don't have to respond to everything, because everything
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: that somebody's saying about you, and everything that somebody's doing
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: towards you, that's meant for evil. That ain't your business,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: And don't make it yours. Don't even worry about it.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Those people have no idea that God's ways are as
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: high above the earth as the heavens. They have no idea.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: They just operating in their own little cocoon, thinking they
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: staring up something because they got some likes or something
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: like that. Hey, y'all, don't get in that. Don't worry
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: about ten people. If you love God and you're a
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: child of his, He's working on your behalf even when
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it looked like it's some mess out there. All you
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: got to do is stay at the eye of the hurricane,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: don't get in the swirl, don't go out there. If
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: you stay centered in Him, he'll give you a piece
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: that transcends all your intellect. That's what the morning meditation
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: has done for me. I would invite you all to
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: try it yourself, all right, that's it today. Those are
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Drop it's all that. Oh yes, have
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: a great week. Here for all Steve Harvey contests, No
