- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in it not me through good to mother, Stay,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn you
- 1:22Speaker 1: are you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out to turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back, Uh huh, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and all it Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Heh man back in business too, man, Man?
- 2:17Speaker 1: How good is God? I mean, really, if you think
- 2:19Speaker 1: about it in spite of all that's going down in
- 2:21Speaker 1: your life, First of all, it could be worse. But secondly,
- 2:25Speaker 1: sometimes you have to remember. And I've just had to
- 2:28Speaker 1: have this conversation with myself this morning. That's how I'm
- 2:32Speaker 1: fresh on this one right here. When a challenge faces you,
- 2:36Speaker 1: are you going through a difficult moment, or you didn't
- 2:40Speaker 1: hit a bump in the road in the middle of that,
- 2:43Speaker 1: if you could manage to be grateful, it would take
- 2:46Speaker 1: you a long way. Gratitude is a powerful resource. If
- 2:51Speaker 1: you can be grateful in the middle of it. Gratitude
- 2:55Speaker 1: is a powerful resource when it's dim for you, it
- 3:00Speaker 1: didn't got a little bumpy on the road and he
- 3:03Speaker 1: ran into some obstacles, and you didn't ran up into
- 3:05Speaker 1: some detooled signs and your journey ain't smooth as it
- 3:10Speaker 1: was last week or last year. You gotta be grateful
- 3:15Speaker 1: for the things that are going right and that have
- 3:19Speaker 1: gone right, and for the thing that's wrong right now
- 3:22Speaker 1: to get right? Man? Can I share that with you? Man?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Is that a tough one to learn? It is for me.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It has been one of my toughest challenges is to
- 3:33Speaker 1: learn how to be grateful because it's a powerful resource,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but how to be grateful in moments of despair when
- 3:40Speaker 1: it ain't going right. See here's a mistake I would make.
- 3:43Speaker 1: See when something go wrong, I want to focus on
- 3:46Speaker 1: the wrong so much in an attempt to fix it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But even then the focus ain't always in to fix it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: The focus becomes, Man, this is bad, man, I can't
- 3:59Speaker 1: believe this is happening. Why just keep going down? That
- 4:03Speaker 1: doesn't fix anything? You know, mealing over it, going over
- 4:08Speaker 1: what's wrong, explaining it, sharing it with your friends, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: making it sound worse than it is tell the story
- 4:18Speaker 1: for pity from other people. All of that right there,
- 4:21Speaker 1: has nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're just
- 4:24Speaker 1: mulling over it. You're just making it worse. You're just
- 4:27Speaker 1: making it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into your atmosphere,
- 4:31Speaker 1: You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now, all
- 4:34Speaker 1: of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're having a bad day. If you're having a bad day,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's because you've been having some bad thoughts. So what
- 4:43Speaker 1: I've had to learn how to do, and what I'm
- 4:45Speaker 1: working on this morning, is I'm working on this situation
- 4:48Speaker 1: that's been cropped up. I was going kind of smooth
- 4:51Speaker 1: here for a minute, and now I didn't got real
- 4:53Speaker 1: bumpy in the road, you know, and all this here.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though
- 4:59Speaker 1: I've hit a bump in the road, and even though
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'd then ran into a detour, and even though I've
- 5:05Speaker 1: hit this love, I'm going down into a valley, I
- 5:09Speaker 1: ain't up on the peak. Can I not still be
- 5:12Speaker 1: grateful for all the things that God has given me,
- 5:16Speaker 1: for all the things He's done for me, for all
- 5:19Speaker 1: the things He's brought me through and realizing that even
- 5:24Speaker 1: this that's happening to me again is going to pass too.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He gonna get me through that attitude. Come on, man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: God is a good god. Man. It's a lot to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be grateful for. So while I'm tripping on this bumping
- 5:35Speaker 1: the road out and hit, what I gotta remember is
- 5:37Speaker 1: all the things He's done for me. And like I say,
- 5:40Speaker 1: my saying is joined depression cannot reside in the same place.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So instead of being down about this new bumping the road,
- 5:47Speaker 1: if I'm constantly filling my mind with the thoughts of
- 5:50Speaker 1: how good he's been to me, of what all he's
- 5:53Speaker 1: done for me, of all the things he's brought me through,
- 5:56Speaker 1: of all the blessings he's presented me with. When I
- 5:59Speaker 1: go down on that list, I really don't have a
- 6:02Speaker 1: lot of time to mull over the situation. Now. Do
- 6:08Speaker 1: I have to fix this bump in the road. Of
- 6:10Speaker 1: course I do. Oh, there's some things I'm going to
- 6:13Speaker 1: have to do the straighten it out, of course it is.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But Steve just going to get the business of doing
- 6:18Speaker 1: it and straighten it out. What you mulling over and
- 6:21Speaker 1: wearing about it for you know, old people I heard
- 6:24Speaker 1: old people say something I was growing up in the church.
- 6:26Speaker 1: They say, if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry
- 6:28Speaker 1: about it. But if you're gonna worry about it, don't
- 6:30Speaker 1: pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer just
- 6:35Speaker 1: happens to be my weapon of choice. Now, it ain't
- 6:38Speaker 1: always been that way. I want you to understand that
- 6:40Speaker 1: my first weapon of choice was you do it to me,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I do it to you. You call me out, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: call you out, you say something bad about me. I've
- 6:48Speaker 1: tried to find you and say something bad about you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That was my weapon in the past. How did that
- 6:53Speaker 1: work out for you, Steve? Not so good? Because you
- 6:57Speaker 1: know what, I spend a lot of time fighting back,
- 7:01Speaker 1: kicking back, swinging back, when I could have spent all
- 7:05Speaker 1: that time climbing. See, all you're trying to do at
- 7:08Speaker 1: the end of the day, folks, is have a better
- 7:10Speaker 1: life than the one you got. All you're trying to
- 7:13Speaker 1: do is to improve your position in life. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's not my business to make sure you don't get
- 7:18Speaker 1: where you're going. Ain't got no time for that. It's
- 7:21Speaker 1: not my job to assure that you ain't as high
- 7:24Speaker 1: as me. I ain't got no time for that. Your
- 7:28Speaker 1: real mission and purpose is to have the best life
- 7:31Speaker 1: that you can have, to ascend to the highest plateau
- 7:35Speaker 1: that you can get to, to make your family as
- 7:38Speaker 1: comfortable as you can, to provide as much as you
- 7:41Speaker 1: can for your family. But legally, see, those of us
- 7:44Speaker 1: are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:47Speaker 1: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:49Speaker 1: today how they wish they hadn't have done that, and
- 7:52Speaker 1: they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had
- 7:55Speaker 1: did it. I knew not to go down there. Something
- 7:58Speaker 1: told me not to go down there. Man. If I
- 8:01Speaker 1: could change things, I would. But they're sitting somewhere doing
- 8:05Speaker 1: some time that had they made another decision they wouldn't
- 8:08Speaker 1: have to do. Now that don't make them throw away people, na, man,
- 8:12Speaker 1: because everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and some of us have done some things that really
- 8:19Speaker 1: broke the law, and a whole lot of other things
- 8:22Speaker 1: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:24Speaker 1: of God, we didn't. But now we set up here
- 8:26Speaker 1: and we passed judgment on people who got to do something.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Now I don't care I don't care what you've done.
- 8:31Speaker 1: God can't forgive anything, but our position, our motivation in
- 8:35Speaker 1: life is to try to have the best life we
- 8:38Speaker 1: can have and provide for those around us and make
- 8:40Speaker 1: it comfortable. If that's your ambition, you don't have time
- 8:45Speaker 1: to worry about or concern yourself with another person. And
- 8:49Speaker 1: I wasted time doing that, And that's not the way
- 8:53Speaker 1: to get it done. It's simply mine to your business
- 8:56Speaker 1: taking care of you and getting yourself right and tight
- 8:59Speaker 1: is torn seven. So that's a full time job. So
- 9:02Speaker 1: what I had to learn was and what I've the
- 9:05Speaker 1: reason I've chosen prayer as as my weapon of choice
- 9:09Speaker 1: now is that now prayer helps me that I don't
- 9:13Speaker 1: have to fight back. Now, if I get cornered, I'm
- 9:17Speaker 1: gonna fight you. I ain't even gonna lie to you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And now I'm still working on some things that trigger me.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You know, you know, you know, and and and and
- 9:27Speaker 1: so I'm I'm slowly getting better at that. But I've
- 9:31Speaker 1: learned that my weapon of choice is prayer now. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: when it happens ugly for me, I pray about it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: When it gets tight and dismal for me, I pray
- 9:43Speaker 1: about it, and The thing about prayer, man, is prayer
- 9:46Speaker 1: changes things. Yes, it does. Now read about it and
- 9:52Speaker 1: try it. That's the deal. Okay, come on, prayer as
- 9:56Speaker 1: a wonderful weapon. You're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. Please, this is the Steve Harvey
- 10:07Speaker 1: Morning Show. Listen, make no mistake about it. We got

- 10:13Speaker 1: presidential candidate, We got a ticket. Get him over the
- 10:18Speaker 1: finish line. The game is over. It's on and cracking.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Now get ready for the lies, the deception, get ready
- 10:29Speaker 1: for the diversions. The fact is we are going to
- 10:34Speaker 1: the polls. Ain't that right, Shirley Straw? Baby, you are
- 10:37Speaker 1: so right, Steve Harvey. We have a winning ticket, something
- 10:41Speaker 1: to vote for. Let's go vote. Ain't that right? Caller Pharrell,

- 11:11Speaker 1: to vote. Right, It's that time. Let's go win this thing.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Ju said though, November four is what it is. That's
- 11:24Speaker 1: just this has to end. We can win this. We
- 11:28Speaker 1: can win this. We can and but we are not
- 11:32Speaker 1: going to take it for granted. That's what I get. Everybody,
- 11:35Speaker 1: listen to me leading in the polls in the last election.

- 11:53Speaker 1: Ohio except in Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus. But down south
- 11:59Speaker 1: and Hamilton County large, you know, Cincinnati, we might, you know,
- 12:07Speaker 1: might do all right, the governor of Ohio Kusick, the
- 12:14Speaker 1: former governor, Yeah, has thrown his sport to Joe Biden. Yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 1: the former. He says he's gonna make his case. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: Kusick is a Republican. E folks, Kissick, we will call
- 12:29Speaker 1: you bottom up. Yes, I shouldn't have k dog ka
- 12:35Speaker 1: dog say he dog from Ohio. Well, the point is,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you're so right, Steve. We cannot take it for granted.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We cannot take this position for granted. This is an
- 12:47Speaker 1: historic moment with Kamala Harris being the first black woman
- 12:51Speaker 1: ever to be chosen as a vice presidential running mate. So,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I mean, let's celebrate this moment, but we can't just
- 12:59Speaker 1: go all out until we actually win, until he is out.
- 13:03Speaker 1: But House actually competent in politics, and so it's not
- 13:10Speaker 1: like we're just voting for a person because I don't

- 14:41Speaker 1: All right, thank you? Read time. Noper at the cloth,
- 14:46Speaker 1: as the nephew would say, as the clo chief love officer,
- 14:50Speaker 1: the cloth is the build. This one's from Cordell in Memphis, Tennessee.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He says. I'm a twenty five year old married man,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and I'm in big trouble. I got a second job
- 15:01Speaker 1: delivering groceries for a popular app. I had a special
- 15:04Speaker 1: customer that liked to have sex. When I made a delivery,
- 15:07Speaker 1: she would quit. She quit using the grocery app and
- 15:10Speaker 1: started texting me her grocery list When she wanted sex.
- 15:13Speaker 1: She ordered Jimmy Dean sausages. I made a lot of
- 15:17Speaker 1: extra money over the weekend. My wife saw bring the
- 15:20Speaker 1: Jimmy Dean texts pop up and asked about it. My
- 15:23Speaker 1: wife got her phone number and I lied real quick
- 15:26Speaker 1: so my wife would not call her. I'm scared she
- 15:29Speaker 1: will find out the truth. Should I tell her? Wow? What? Cordel? Boy? Cordel?
- 15:40Speaker 1: What tale? What do you telling? Yeah? You don't tell
- 15:45Speaker 1: on yourself? Thank you? Listen all this truth is the
- 15:49Speaker 1: best policy. Too late for that. Honesty is the best policy. Yes,
- 15:54Speaker 1: but you wasn't honest in the beginning. This ain't the
- 15:57Speaker 1: time to start. Not. The best thing you could do
- 16:00Speaker 1: is cut it off. Stop, end it, change your phone number,
- 16:04Speaker 1: stop bringing them. You're not He not gonna stop though,
- 16:09Speaker 1: See he just trying to talk about should I tell her? Dog?
- 16:12Speaker 1: What do you think it's gonna happen when you tell
- 16:14Speaker 1: your wife that? Look? Look, look young dude, your best
- 16:21Speaker 1: thing is to cut it off and stop. That's your
- 16:25Speaker 1: best move and go on with your life. Everybody make mistakes,
- 16:30Speaker 1: you've made it, get up, get it right. If you
- 16:34Speaker 1: don't do that, bro, but do not go in now.
- 16:37Speaker 1: This This is not gonna go nothing like you think. Bro,
- 16:44Speaker 1: This ain't gonna go nothing like you think. I don't
- 16:46Speaker 1: know what you think. I'm gonna going here, tell a phone.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You find out. No, no, no, no, no, you do
- 16:51Speaker 1: all that after they find out, you know, walking in
- 16:54Speaker 1: with don't do this, son, son, listen to me, do
- 16:57Speaker 1: not that. This is not the way you do it.
- 17:00Speaker 1: If she don't bring it up. If if your wife
- 17:03Speaker 1: don't start to find your house, why would you start
- 17:05Speaker 1: to find ask for forgiveness, not from her, from God.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Bring your old girl into this point this. Yeah, he
- 17:17Speaker 1: walked in there. She was fine. She liked the way. Look,
- 17:20Speaker 1: you know, he had a special customer that liked to
- 17:23Speaker 1: have sex when he made a delivery. You know. But
- 17:27Speaker 1: she ain't all that now, and he know it ain't
- 17:30Speaker 1: worth his marriage must be older. I'm glad that you
- 17:37Speaker 1: told him. Though he's a young guy. He needs to
- 17:39Speaker 1: learn now. And Jimmy Dean is an old ass sausage
- 17:45Speaker 1: good though it's like ask on some damn Bob Evans,
- 17:48Speaker 1: some age limits to some of this stuff. Go here,
- 17:52Speaker 1: all right, Elaine and Queens Clo says, I've been engaged
- 17:56Speaker 1: eleven years and my fiance is a cheater. I got
- 18:00Speaker 1: his phone when he was asleep after he kept getting
- 18:02Speaker 1: texas from Red Fox. I figured out it was a
- 18:06Speaker 1: lady and she was mad that he was ignoring her.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I typed in, I'm with my girl, and she sent
- 18:11Speaker 1: me the finger sign emoji and then type. I thought
- 18:14Speaker 1: it was over. I sent her a picture of him
- 18:17Speaker 1: lying next to me, and then I blocked her number.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I planned to deal with the woman myself, but she
- 18:22Speaker 1: knew he was in a relationship. She said she should
- 18:26Speaker 1: be held accountable for her actions. Am I wrong for
- 18:29Speaker 1: wanting to beat her tail? No? Now you could want to,
- 18:34Speaker 1: but I don't. All you did was block her number.
- 18:37Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing to this dude beating her tail.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I mean, look, she's wrong, mad at the wrong. This
- 18:45Speaker 1: has been your fiancee for eleven years. That's so crazy.
- 18:52Speaker 1: No intention of being Yale husband and a cheater, she said, Steve,
- 19:00Speaker 1: he got you, He asked you to marry him. To
- 19:02Speaker 1: shut your mouth. Obviously it's worked for eleven years and
- 19:07Speaker 1: he all doing what he want to do and you
- 19:09Speaker 1: know it. Now you want to beat hub You need Joe,
- 19:12Speaker 1: butthip for being somebody fiance for eleven years. For eleven years. Yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I wouldn't go over there because you might run up
- 19:19Speaker 1: into summer surprise. All right, Chloe here we go. This
- 19:25Speaker 1: is from Tanya in Columbia, South Carolina. She says, I'm
- 19:28Speaker 1: a thirty nine year old single mother and I have
- 19:30Speaker 1: a male best friend that is thirty five. Over the years,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I've helped him deal with his baby mama drama and
- 19:37Speaker 1: other issues with women. But now he's ready to settle down.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I'm all for it, but he needs to be past
- 19:43Speaker 1: the drama with other women because he's trying to settle
- 19:45Speaker 1: down with my twenty one year old daughter. They've been
- 19:48Speaker 1: dating off and on, and she's falling for him. I
- 19:51Speaker 1: can't fight love, but I can fight him, so I
- 19:54Speaker 1: want to be sure he doesn't hurt my daughter. My
- 19:56Speaker 1: daughter's father was a lot older than me, so I
- 19:59Speaker 1: get it. But how can I make sure he's solid? What?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Come on? What? Yeah? Exactly? What do you mean? How
- 20:08Speaker 1: are you going to make sure he sild? Did you
- 20:10Speaker 1: make sure her daddy was silent? Now you know a
- 20:15Speaker 1: lot about this guy because he's been a friend and
- 20:17Speaker 1: he's helped you through a lot of women with baby
- 20:18Speaker 1: mama drama, so you have some inside information. Does he
- 20:21Speaker 1: seem solid? Ben Daniel twenty one year old daughter? And
- 20:25Speaker 1: she didn't fail for and you got a problem now
- 20:28Speaker 1: means something, right, you have a problem now, Yeah, that's crazy,
- 20:36Speaker 1: that's really crazy. All right, Thank you as usual, Cello.
- 20:41Speaker 1: We love your advice. Coming up next, the nephew is
- 20:44Speaker 1: here to run that prank back right after this. You're listening.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Hiring can be a challenge, as codable co founder Gretchen
- 20:54Speaker 1: Headner discovered. Gretchen needed to hire a game artist for

- 23:38Speaker 1: This is my property? Okay. Now I'm not talking about
- 23:40Speaker 1: your house or nothing like that. Oh I got some
- 23:42Speaker 1: property over there that belonged to me, and I'm trying
- 23:45Speaker 1: to figure out how we can rectify the problem. Well,
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm quite sure if it's something not to pack up
- 23:49Speaker 1: or whatever, you can come and get it. I don't know, proper.

- 23:55Speaker 1: The ash the ashwal breast that she had belonged to me,
- 23:58Speaker 1: the breast bread. I bought her some breasting plants. Man,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I ain't know nothing about no breasting plants. Okay, you
- 24:05Speaker 1: might not know nothing about it, but the bottom line
- 24:07Speaker 1: is I spend ten thousand dollars on some breasting plants,

- 25:47Speaker 1: Let me say something to you, man, I'm coming over there.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I'm coming over there and have a conversation with Madison
- 25:52Speaker 1: about this, because that's who evidently I need to talk
- 25:54Speaker 1: to you. No, you're not talking to nobody over here.
- 25:56Speaker 1: You're talking to me, like you say, man to man.

- 26:40Speaker 1: about the ring you talk about. Look, dude, she going then?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Breasts ain't yours no more? Man, you don't get back here.
- 26:45Speaker 1: If it was wearing a pair of shoes or something,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I key that back. So what na what nah? Hey? Man,
- 26:50Speaker 1: All I'm gonna say is this here. I'm gonna come
- 26:52Speaker 1: over there and have a conversation with Madison about my
- 26:55Speaker 1: breast because the breath bloss to me. You're not coming
- 26:57Speaker 1: over here and getting nothing. She ain't even here, but
- 26:59Speaker 1: you bring your over here. You come over here with

- 27:27Speaker 1: the hell man? Hey, you can get on my line. Man,
- 27:29Speaker 1: who is this. I'm the person that on the breast.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Do you know who this is? Here? You on on
- 27:33Speaker 1: nothing over here? Man. You didn't took the loss on
- 27:35Speaker 1: their brother. You took a straight loss on their man.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You got partner? Who is this man he lost? You
- 27:43Speaker 1: ain't calling my phone. I'm gonna tell you right now
- 27:45Speaker 1: who he's your partner? Yeah, don't wonder who is this?
- 27:48Speaker 1: This is nephew Thomas Steve Harby Morning Show. Your girl
- 27:51Speaker 1: Madison got me the prankball called you. Oh man, boy,
- 27:57Speaker 1: you ain't it's cold when you cold? Man, ain't somebody

- 28:40Speaker 1: He got me, good man, You got me, good man.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But anybody ever took a brisk that you was connected to.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever done? Are you insane? Nope? Okay, what
- 28:54Speaker 1: a nope? I'm sign about that. When when you suppress
- 28:58Speaker 1: it and this ignorant, it's actually perfect stupid. This is
- 29:08Speaker 1: actually when you're dumber than you even believe yoursel he
- 29:17Speaker 1: has no dumb and dumb missed yep, and congratulations taught
- 29:25Speaker 1: me because you are you so against me and I'm
- 29:27Speaker 1: not against you at all, actually for you, but you
- 29:30Speaker 1: against my success. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:37Speaker 1: entertain everything I wanted to be right after this, you're
- 29:41Speaker 1: listening to show well. In today's entertainment news, Cardie B
- 29:48Speaker 1: is defending her decision to use Kylie Jenner in her
- 29:51Speaker 1: and Megan the Stallion's wop video. As we told you
- 29:55Speaker 1: not everyone was happy to see Kylie in the video.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Cardie posted, why did I put Kylie in my video?
- 30:02Speaker 1: She treated my daughter culture so lovely? Its Stormy's birthday party,
- 30:06Speaker 1: Cardi said. In addition, Travis and her husband offset her
- 30:09Speaker 1: close friends and Chris Jenner has been giving me advice
- 30:13Speaker 1: on certain things I asked for another word and other
- 30:17Speaker 1: whap news. So there you have it. That's why Cardi
- 30:19Speaker 1: b and she doesn't have to explain to anyone. I
- 30:21Speaker 1: mean has a problem with her being in the video?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Everybody who was a lot of people about what I mean,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I mean, what why? Why is it a problem because
- 30:31Speaker 1: she's white and they white? Yeah? I think it has
- 30:35Speaker 1: to do with her race. Oh okay, so we'd only
- 30:41Speaker 1: one with Steve. I was drinking some water right there,
- 30:45Speaker 1: must all over zoom. She can do what she wanted
- 30:51Speaker 1: to do. Man, I don't even understand why we have
- 30:54Speaker 1: a problem. What has race got to do with this?
- 30:56Speaker 1: I know music video? You know how many white kids
- 31:01Speaker 1: is gone by this? Black kids gonna buy this? Man,
- 31:06Speaker 1: they ain't got enohing. That's new. People on social media,
- 31:09Speaker 1: they'd be going after doing what what A fifty cent
- 31:13Speaker 1: say it's the sexiest video ever ever ever made? And
- 31:18Speaker 1: I'm with fifty on this though, I'm wing. We have
- 31:21Speaker 1: some other whap news for you. Someone decided to photoshop
- 31:24Speaker 1: Viola Davis's face over Kylie's body. Viola, who shared it
- 31:29Speaker 1: on her ig, loved it, and Cardie did too. So there,
- 31:32Speaker 1: come on, Viola, there you go putting me in Nah?
- 31:40Speaker 1: All right, So let's now get to this Tyrese story,
- 31:43Speaker 1: Tyrese is in hot water for coming to the defense
- 31:46Speaker 1: of R. Kelly. Now, in case you missed this, Tyrese
- 31:50Speaker 1: was a guest on fashion podcast he comes in defense
- 31:55Speaker 1: of who R Kelly? Okay, yeah, So, in case you
- 32:00Speaker 1: missed it, Tyrese was a guest on Fat Joe's podcast
- 32:03Speaker 1: when he gave R Kelly props for staying relevant, for
- 32:07Speaker 1: reinventing himself through the years. Okay, so when Joe quest
- 32:13Speaker 1: When Fat Joe questioned Tyrese whether it was cool to
- 32:17Speaker 1: bring up the good points as he awaits trial on
- 32:20Speaker 1: multiple sex charges, Tyrese mentioned that there were several people
- 32:23Speaker 1: in the industry who were involved in things they didn't
- 32:26Speaker 1: want made public. He says, if I were to find
- 32:29Speaker 1: out what everybody is into, we probably wouldn't be a
- 32:32Speaker 1: fan of anybody. When you have drug problems, you're an alcoholic,
- 32:36Speaker 1: or you got vices that may be inappropriate, or whatever
- 32:40Speaker 1: the case may be. That's when Tyrese received a lot
- 32:43Speaker 1: of backlash. One person tweeted, rape is not a vice.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I was about to say that, yes, pedophilia is not
- 32:53Speaker 1: a vice, and then another person tweeted, say that when
- 32:57Speaker 1: he snatches up your daughter. You know, social media goes hard. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 1: well I know Tyrese really really well. I don't know
- 33:11Speaker 1: how he meant it, but it it it. I mean,
- 33:15Speaker 1: you know, it just came out bad for him. There's
- 33:18Speaker 1: nothing to defend. Look, man, when we're talking about kids,
- 33:22Speaker 1: all bets is off. Under age women's sexual dog doing
- 33:30Speaker 1: anything to you, violate women, Yes, it's off. All bets
- 33:36Speaker 1: is off. Partly we got nothing for you. Everybody coming
- 33:41Speaker 1: to your aid man, Damn women and these kids. Yeah, y,
- 33:49Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna move on here, Steve. Time to
- 33:52Speaker 1: get caught up on our headlines, ladies and gentlemen. Miss
- 33:55Speaker 1: Anne Tripp, thank you very much, everybody, and good morning.
- 33:59Speaker 1: This is an trip. Well yeah, the cats out of
- 34:01Speaker 1: the bed. Everybody knows now. The Democratic Party's presumptive presidential
- 34:05Speaker 1: nominee has selected California Senator Kamala Harris to be his
- 34:08Speaker 1: running mate, describing her on Twitter as quote a fearless
- 34:12Speaker 1: fighter for the little guy and one of the country's
- 34:14Speaker 1: finest public servants. Harris will be the first woman of
- 34:18Speaker 1: color to be nominated by the way by a major
- 34:20Speaker 1: party for vice president. There was Geraldine Ferraro, and there
- 34:23Speaker 1: was Sarah Palin. Harris was elected to the US Senate
- 34:26Speaker 1: by the way, in twenty sixteen, after serving as San
- 34:29Speaker 1: Francisco's district attorney and also California's Attorney general. She made
- 34:33Speaker 1: a try for this year's Democratic presidential election, you may remember,
- 34:37Speaker 1: but after her poll numbers started tanking, she left the
- 34:39Speaker 1: race in December. Biden and Harris are to make their
- 34:42Speaker 1: first campaign appearance together later day in Delaware, which is
- 34:45Speaker 1: Biden's home state, and they're going to hold a virtual
- 34:47Speaker 1: fundraiser tonight. By the way, President Trump apparently donated six
- 34:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars to Kamala Harris's campaign campaigns in twenty eleven
- 34:56Speaker 1: and twenty thirteen, and his daughter Vodka donate two thousand
- 34:59Speaker 1: dollars to her California election efforts. The Trump's liked her.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Russia's claiming that has developed and approved of the world's
- 35:07Speaker 1: first coronavirus vaccine, However, word of it has met with
- 35:10Speaker 1: international skepticism some scorn. Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin says
- 35:14Speaker 1: the vaccine has been tested on a few dozen people
- 35:17Speaker 1: and that even his daughter has been given it. However,
- 35:20Speaker 1: vaccine expert doctor Paul Open says it all seems pretty
- 35:22Speaker 1: irresponsible to him. The notion that they would actually roll
- 35:25Speaker 1: this vaccine out into the arms of the Russian public
- 35:28Speaker 1: without doing adequate safety and effocacy testing, I think is shameful.
- 35:32Speaker 1: By the way, it's called Sputnick. That's named after the
- 35:34Speaker 1: first artificial satellite of the Soviet Union, launched over sixty
- 35:38Speaker 1: years ago. Seattle's police chief is resigning, Carmen Best, leaving
- 35:43Speaker 1: in the wake of that city's decision to cut the
- 35:45Speaker 1: number of cops in Seattle by about a hundred through
- 35:47Speaker 1: layoffs and nutrition. She says she wouldn't do it, so
- 35:50Speaker 1: she's just going to leave. Seattle has been the sight
- 35:52Speaker 1: of huge Black Lives Matter demonstrations against racism and police brutality.
- 35:57Speaker 1: President Trump's lawyers mean while making another attempt or a
- 36:00Speaker 1: pitch to block the court or the release of his
- 36:03Speaker 1: tax records as part of a criminal probe by Manhattan,
- 36:06Speaker 1: New York's District Attorney Cyrus Fans, Trump's attorney's file federal
- 36:10Speaker 1: court papers yesterday accusing Day Cyrus Fans of retaliation, claiming
- 36:14Speaker 1: that he only subpoena Trump's counting after the Trumpet Organization
- 36:17Speaker 1: successfully questioned an earlier quest that he made, and they
- 36:20Speaker 1: say he's just being petty. Finally, today's International Elephant Day.
- 36:26Speaker 1: They need a lot of help elephantsman, how would you
- 36:28Speaker 1: like to be killed just for your teeth? Now back
- 36:31Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. Well, well,
- 36:37Speaker 1: well we all know the news. Yesterday Joe Biden made
- 36:40Speaker 1: it official California Senator Kamala Harris will be his running mate.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Applause right here in third applause. Yeay yes, yea, yeay
- 36:50Speaker 1: ye shot me right there. That shot. She was number
- 36:57Speaker 1: one on one. Yeah, yeah, number one on his list.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean, it's just still a shock. I
- 37:06Speaker 1: just did not believe that a black woman would be
- 37:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's the part that shocked me. As that's
- 37:15Speaker 1: going in and I'm like, it's about time though, it's
- 37:18Speaker 1: it's way overdue. Um okay, well this I believe it
- 37:22Speaker 1: can happen because I was completely stunned at the nomination
- 37:26Speaker 1: of Barack Obama because in my lifetime I didn't foresee
- 37:30Speaker 1: that happening, and then it happened. So this is another
- 37:34Speaker 1: very very real possibility, Yes, sir, and you most soon though, Steve,
- 37:40Speaker 1: It's like it's like it's right behind that, you know,
- 37:42Speaker 1: you like, can this happened that quickly? You mean back
- 37:46Speaker 1: to back, meaning Kamala and President Obama? Can that happened
- 37:51Speaker 1: that close? You don't think we had enough with Donald
- 37:54Speaker 1: Trump in between where I think we've had plenty. I'm
- 37:59Speaker 1: just saying, yeah, I think he's putting enough space in him. Yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 1: we're in the climate where you know, I think you
- 38:11Speaker 1: said at best earlier, Steve, what you said. People are
- 38:13Speaker 1: at home during this COVID so they can see the
- 38:18Speaker 1: racism that's going on in this country, you know. And
- 38:21Speaker 1: this is just a good thing. This is just a
- 38:23Speaker 1: really good thing. We just have to continue it. Do
- 38:26Speaker 1: our part, get up and vote. That's you know. Anyway,
- 38:29Speaker 1: This marks Yeah, this marks the first time a black
- 38:32Speaker 1: woman as part of the presidential ticket for a major party.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Her resume includes a stint as Attorney General of California,
- 38:40Speaker 1: four years as a US Senator, and an email to
- 38:43Speaker 1: support his On Tuesday, Biden said I need someone working
- 38:47Speaker 1: alongside me who is smart, tough, and ready to lead.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Kamala is that person. Kamala Harris said on Twitter that
- 38:56Speaker 1: Biden can unify the American people because he spent his
- 38:59Speaker 1: life fighting for us. She said, Biden would build a
- 39:02Speaker 1: country that lives up to our ideals. Biden and Harris
- 39:06Speaker 1: are set to appear together for the first time as
- 39:08Speaker 1: running mates today Wilmington, Delaware. That's Biden's Yeah, hometown. Yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 1: all right, way to kick it off, Biden, and they
- 39:18Speaker 1: actually start the Democratic Convention next week. Yeah, yeah, virtual virtually.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I don't know, viral versions gonna be on the internet.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I gotta get ready to call my sister, gonna call
- 39:38Speaker 1: me Mona. She gonna all types of stuff questions. Yeah,
- 39:43Speaker 1: all right, We're coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:45Speaker 1: the hour. We'll have some more political news right after this.
- 39:48Speaker 1: You're listening to show. There are eighty three days left
- 39:54Speaker 1: until the November third election day. Let's get busy. If
- 40:04Speaker 1: we vote, that's what we want to believe in anyway,
- 40:09Speaker 1: it's not just gonna magically happen. We have to do
- 40:12Speaker 1: our part. And yesterday history was made when Joe Biden
- 40:16Speaker 1: picked Kamala Harris as his running mate, making the very
- 40:20Speaker 1: first black woman to be nominated to a national office
- 40:24Speaker 1: by a major political party, and that would be the
- 40:27Speaker 1: Democratic Party. Former President Obama posted yesterday it is a
- 40:31Speaker 1: good day for our country. And now let's get out
- 40:34Speaker 1: and win this thing. Yeah good, Yeah, let's go out
- 40:40Speaker 1: and win this thing. You can hear say it like
- 40:43Speaker 1: he would say it, Junior today. It's a good date
- 40:46Speaker 1: for our country. And uh, well when this man, I'm
- 40:55Speaker 1: just so excited just as a black woman, a woman. Yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: you're talking about just black girl magic, just proud brown
- 41:04Speaker 1: skinned girl, just for women, black women, because we, I mean,
- 41:08Speaker 1: we do so much for the Democratic part, Yes we do. Women,
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yes we do. Oftentimes we're overlooked. We're taken for granted
- 41:16Speaker 1: our votes. Are they just need us for our votes?
- 41:19Speaker 1: They don't fulfill the promises that they made during the campaign.
- 41:23Speaker 1: And uh, you know, now we have Can I say something?
- 41:26Speaker 1: Can I jump in go ahead? I can't do that
- 41:29Speaker 1: because my wife, she did this all lasting. There is
- 41:32Speaker 1: an a k A movement baby Kamala Harris as a
- 41:42Speaker 1: member of Avocati in corporate and she is doing a
- 41:47Speaker 1: graduate from Howard. Okay, well yeah to the weed baby, Yeah,
- 41:59Speaker 1: really great, really really great. Yeah. We just we just
- 42:02Speaker 1: gotta vote Steve. We just gotta period. There's no reason
- 42:08Speaker 1: we are supposed to be there. Vote four one one
- 42:12Speaker 1: dot com four one one is the national symbol for information.
- 42:19Speaker 1: So when you die for one one, you looking for information.
- 42:22Speaker 1: So guess what the website is Vote for one one
- 42:26Speaker 1: dot com. It is extensive. It tells you everything you
- 42:30Speaker 1: need to know. When you can register, how you can register,
- 42:33Speaker 1: the last day, you can register, the first day, you
- 42:36Speaker 1: can early vote, the last day you can early vote,
- 42:38Speaker 1: how you can absentee vote. Everything about voting pertains to
- 42:42Speaker 1: your district, neighborhood, where you stay. Everything I think, and
- 42:48Speaker 1: I'm sure everyone agrees with this. We need to early vote.
- 42:52Speaker 1: We need to really push early, not waiting until the
- 42:56Speaker 1: last monument, not this time. Listen, y'all, because the plan
- 43:01Speaker 1: is and a part of voter suppression is to get
- 43:04Speaker 1: you discouraged about the voting process and what they did
- 43:08Speaker 1: in the primaries. They closed sixteen polling locations and condensed
- 43:15Speaker 1: it into one, sometimes more than that, so you have
- 43:19Speaker 1: the super long lines and then the primaries that discourage people.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I ain't going back down the next time. No, we're
- 43:25Speaker 1: going back down the next time. I want to have
- 43:29Speaker 1: a campaign in place where they go into these districts,
- 43:33Speaker 1: where they condense the voting poles down. I want to
- 43:36Speaker 1: talk to my other brothers on the radio, Ricky Smiley,
- 43:39Speaker 1: DL Hughley. I want to start a movement where we
- 43:43Speaker 1: get fold away chairs, we get water for people who
- 43:49Speaker 1: can't stand, and take them to these polling places to
- 43:53Speaker 1: have them sitting there where people can get down there
- 43:57Speaker 1: and sit and vote. Yeah, umbrellas you know, for the elderly,
- 44:03Speaker 1: for women. We are going to make an effort to
- 44:07Speaker 1: get people out and stay at these polls and vote
- 44:10Speaker 1: because we're not gonna let them all suppress this vote, right,
- 44:14Speaker 1: the election of our lifetime. This is yeah, really absolutely,
- 44:18Speaker 1: we have a winning ticket. So this election is as
- 44:22Speaker 1: important as barank Obama. Yes it is, yes, sir, yes, sir, facts, facts, absolutely, yes, sir.
- 44:31Speaker 1: All right, eighty three days until election day. Coming up next,
- 44:36Speaker 1: the nephew coming up next, the nephew in the building
- 44:43Speaker 1: with the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:46Speaker 1: to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:51Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 44:54Speaker 1: the subject I'd rather be in prison than live with her. No, no, hold, Homer,

- 45:11Speaker 1: be in prison than live with her. No, you've been
- 45:16Speaker 1: with her long? Wait till you hear the move back
- 45:19Speaker 1: with anybody out and head for I can't I ask
- 45:22Speaker 1: the prison. We'll just be sitting up in that mad
- 45:26Speaker 1: I hate you. I know you do. We'll see past
- 45:31Speaker 1: the peace before we get to it. The nephew is
- 45:35Speaker 1: here with the prank phone call for today. What you
- 45:37Speaker 1: got now? Let me have it, Shirley. This right here,

- 54:28Speaker 1: right here, right now. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:32Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is the Strawberry Letter.
- 54:35Speaker 1: All right, guys, You guys didn't like this title, but
- 54:37Speaker 1: here it is the subject. I'd rather be in prison
- 54:41Speaker 1: than live with her, Dear Stephen Shirley. I was released
- 54:45Speaker 1: from state prison a few months ago. While in prison
- 54:49Speaker 1: for twenty three months, I thought my girlfriend had my
- 54:53Speaker 1: back and we get married. When I came home, boy
- 54:56Speaker 1: was I wrong. And I came home to a situation
- 54:59Speaker 1: that was worse than prison. I was released to my
- 55:03Speaker 1: own home with my girlfriend, who has been staying in
- 55:06Speaker 1: my home while I was in prison. It was supposed
- 55:09Speaker 1: to be a joyous homecoming, but instead I walked into hell.
- 55:15Speaker 1: My girlfriend has turned into a conniving, cheating, and very
- 55:19Speaker 1: immature person. I don't know what happened while I was away,
- 55:23Speaker 1: but I thank god I got to see who she
- 55:25Speaker 1: really is before I married her. I found out that
- 55:28Speaker 1: she's been cheating on me and the guy was all
- 55:31Speaker 1: up in my house all of the time. She also
- 55:34Speaker 1: hasn't been doing the upkeep on my house, and it's filthy.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Along with real life obstacles i'll face as a convicted felon,
- 55:42Speaker 1: she has run up my credit cards, mismanaged a lot
- 55:46Speaker 1: of my money, and destroyed my credit. I've told her
- 55:50Speaker 1: it's over and asked her to move out several times,
- 55:53Speaker 1: but she said it's her house too, and she's not
- 55:56Speaker 1: going anywhere. I can't raise my voice at her or
- 56:00Speaker 1: your hair on her head because I live in constant
- 56:03Speaker 1: fear that she may use the criminal justice justice system
- 56:06Speaker 1: as a weapon against me. It's back to jail I go.
- 56:10Speaker 1: If I have any police contact, other guys call her
- 56:13Speaker 1: and she'll go in another room and talk to them,
- 56:16Speaker 1: and I can't say a word to her about it.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I am living in sheer hell. I thought about calling
- 56:22Speaker 1: my parole officer to explain what's going on, but I
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't want to get anyone involved in my business like that.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I do not need relationship advice. I need advice on
- 56:32Speaker 1: how to get away from her so I can have
- 56:34Speaker 1: peace and get situated back into my community. How can
- 56:37Speaker 1: I handle this? Yeah, well, you know we give relationship
- 56:42Speaker 1: advice here. That is what we do. But we'll see
- 56:47Speaker 1: what we can do to help you, sir, because we
- 56:50Speaker 1: don't want you to go back to prison. That's definitely
- 56:52Speaker 1: what we don't want. And first of all, let me
- 56:54Speaker 1: say this, I need you to be as nice to
- 56:57Speaker 1: her as you possibly can. Why she's in your home
- 57:01Speaker 1: and until the day she leaves. Okay, yeah, keep it up,
- 57:07Speaker 1: keep it up. This will um, I'm sure have to
- 57:10Speaker 1: involve some very skilled acting on your part. You're you're
- 57:13Speaker 1: doing a great job so far. Just keep it up.
- 57:15Speaker 1: But like you say, you can't give her any reason
- 57:19Speaker 1: at all to suspect you're up to anything. You don't
- 57:22Speaker 1: want her calling the police. You don't want to go
- 57:24Speaker 1: back to prison. So UM, I'll just say, start building
- 57:28Speaker 1: a support system. You know you're out now, Um, start
- 57:32Speaker 1: you know, dealing with people that you know have your back,
- 57:36Speaker 1: like family members, people that you can trust, friends, like
- 57:41Speaker 1: I say, have your back, maybe a pastor, maybe someone
- 57:44Speaker 1: who has knowledge of the law, real estate, all of that.
- 57:48Speaker 1: You need to find out your rights as a homeowner
- 57:51Speaker 1: you have. Um, you know you gotta be smart in this.
- 57:54Speaker 1: You got to be strategic. Again, you don't want her
- 57:56Speaker 1: finding out anything. Uh, this woman sounds like the devil
- 58:00Speaker 1: himself sent her to your house, so you definitely need
- 58:04Speaker 1: to have God on your side. That's why I mentioned
- 58:06Speaker 1: a pastor. If you're gonna, you know, get her out
- 58:09Speaker 1: of your house, I'm saying all of this. I don't
- 58:11Speaker 1: even know why you went in prison and spent two years,
- 58:14Speaker 1: almost two years to begin with, but the tone of
- 58:17Speaker 1: your letter sounds like it comes from a decent man.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna say you're a decent man. You know. Anytime
- 58:23Speaker 1: you say you'd rather be in prison than in the
- 58:26Speaker 1: comfort of your own home, I just think it's think
- 58:28Speaker 1: it's a major problem and having this woman who has
- 58:32Speaker 1: taken over your home and basically your life is beyond
- 58:35Speaker 1: unsettling and she needs to go. So I just say,
- 58:39Speaker 1: please get a plan to get her together, to get
- 58:41Speaker 1: her out. Now, write it down, but you know, never
- 58:45Speaker 1: let her know what you're doing, because you don't want
- 58:48Speaker 1: to upset her or alert her or anything like that.
- 58:51Speaker 1: But you can get her out of your house. It's
- 58:53Speaker 1: just gonna take a plan. Steve. Yeah, bro, I don't
- 58:56Speaker 1: I don't know what to say to you in this letter. Honestly,
- 58:59Speaker 1: man itself. If I feel for you, I really really do. Man,
- 59:02Speaker 1: you did your time for whatever the mistake boys you made.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Thought your girl had your back, y'all was gonna get married. Boy,
- 59:10Speaker 1: were you wrong when you came to a situation worst
- 59:13Speaker 1: in prison. Now let me say this. You're saying that
- 59:17Speaker 1: you're glad you'll find out that she's been staying in
- 59:20Speaker 1: your home while you was in prison, and it was
- 59:23Speaker 1: supposed to be a joyous home coming, but you walked
- 59:25Speaker 1: into hell. She's turned into a conniving, cheating and very
- 59:30Speaker 1: immature person. I don't know what happened while I was away,
- 59:33Speaker 1: but here's the deal. I thank god I got to
- 59:35Speaker 1: see who she really is before I married her. Being go,
- 59:40Speaker 1: that's the good thing. Somebody sent me a text one time,
- 59:45Speaker 1: and I'll try to see if I can find it
- 59:46Speaker 1: while I'm talking to you. But sometimes, and I've often
- 59:50Speaker 1: said this to women, the blessing is in the breakup,
- 59:54Speaker 1: and you've got to realize what that is when you
- 59:57Speaker 1: get it. I think you had a blessing, and so
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to find this thing that someone sent me
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: about this situation you're in. First of all, young brother,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: here's what it is. It says, don't worry about the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: people God removed from your life. He heard conversations you didn't,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: saw things you couldn't, and made moves you wouldn't. Now, brother,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: you seem like a good man. I'm going to assume
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that this crime you went to jail forwards federal prison,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and you did some federal time, and you probably did
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: some type of white collar crime. I don't really know
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: what it is. I know it's a nonviolent offense. Let's
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: just say that you did twenty three months, you got out.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: All right, Steve, We'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: for today, I'd rather be in prison than live with her.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Subject I'd rather be in prison than live with her. Well, brother,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I know what you're saying, but we can't go back
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to prison. I don't think you're trying to do that.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So we're faced with this situation. This woman has turned
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: out to be a cheata. Here's the upside. You found
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: out just in time. You didn't marry her. All you
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: got to do now is get her out your house.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Now they are always to file for this. I'm sure
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: now you being a convicted felon, it's going to create
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a couple of problems because once you go down there
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and you include the court system to get her put
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: out the house, all she got to do with being
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: a line on you, as she may do the dirty
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: on you just so she can go back to business
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: as usual. So you have to be extremely careful and cunning.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Here you had a house that you still manage to keep.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: She's ran up all your credit, she's ruined your money,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: and she's been in your house. Well at Leasha had
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: a house. So we gotta get smart here, man. You
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: gotta go over a couple of friends house. You gotta
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: get some measures taken legally that can help you out.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: In the meantime, spend as less time as home as
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you can until you find a way to work through
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: this legally. But then you're gonna have to spend time
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: away from the house because if you stay there, she
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: can get you jammed up. All she gotta do is
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: called nine one one one time they come to your house, bro,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and you backed up. Now, I know you say you'd
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: rather go to prison and live with her, but you
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: really don't mean that, because nothing happens when you locked up. Nothing.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: So get with a friend, Get with some smart friends,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: because you got some smart friends, get yourself some knowledge
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: about what you can do. Move out of there and
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: start the process then, and don't go know where near her.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Put a restraining order on yourself before she asked for one.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: See if you don't go over there by her dog,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: she can't put a restraint in order on it. That's
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: the worst thing can happen to a convicted fella. You
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: start getting some of those insinuated charges and when you're
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: own probation, man, you can't do nothing. You can't have
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: police contact you already know that they can set you
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: down for violation or parole and you could be in
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: there for up to a year before they even bring
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you in front of a judge. You know how this
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: system works. Man, So I feel badly for you, brother,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: but surely did the right thing and told you the
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: right thing. I think you should separate yourself from situation
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: because it sounds like you're gonna get in deep and
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: ain't gonna ain't gonna do them to lead you down
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the dark role, man, And don't put yourself out there.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Don't throw your freedom. Why, brother, she is not worth it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: The cheating, immature, stealing, low down, perfect person, respectful, no,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: non coommittal. Yeah, it ain't worth it, bro, Yeah, it
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: ain't worth it. And don't let her know anything you're doing. Please,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that's terrible. That's like a real document everything you do. True. Yeah,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that's everything. That's everything. Whose house you're staying over? Where
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: was you at? Pictures? Time checks? Who paying for the house?
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Who's paying for that house? It's his house, his house, Yeah,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: it's not paying for it. But yeah, she said it
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: was her house. Yeah, but if the bank kick everybody
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: at Yeah, yeah, he wanted to get with Steve. That's
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: one way to do it because he sounds like a
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: really nice guy. Man. Yeah, that's an ugly situation for
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: this guy to be in, man, because this woman could
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: hurt him. It's a really ca because he's on probation. Yeah,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: he walked on eggshells. Yeah. I like the fact that
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you said, don't stay there. No, he's got a family,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: he's got friends, you know. Yeah, good, I have out
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: from around her. Yes, Junior, what you got I just
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: haven't suggested to me. You know. That's one way for
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: closure could be one way. So I have a lot
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: of experience for pro officers and all that type of stuff,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: a lot of family members that have been through that.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: But one thing we could do people that he met
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: while he was in there, if you know, they out,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: we could use this to our been. We could scare
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: her out the house. Gonna be good, Junior. I'm just
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: saying we could scare act. Don't you think we thought
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: of that? You don't. You don't think they're gonna be
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: able to tie them. Also, he wasn't trying to keep
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: him out to be No, Junior, Steve logical, we can't
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: do that, Junior. I'm sorry, Okay, I know you want to.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: He's got to kind of go by the book on
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: this one. That any false move he could go back in,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: and that's what we're trying to avoid. But he could
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: tell his parole officer what's going on, because you got
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to update a bunch of status, you know. I like
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the fact that he said I don't need relationship advice too,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: because he knows that's over No, that's over with. Yeah,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: that's really sad. Yeah, it really is, it really really is.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: She's taking advantage of him. And she's going to take
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: advantage of the judicial system, and he's smart enough to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: know that. Yeah. Yeah, no one said. He didn't say
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: how long he's on parole either. You know, this could
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: be going on for quite a while. But yeah, he's
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: got to get rid of her, get her out of
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: his house and out of his life. Man, I don't
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: rather be in prison or I'll sleep in the car
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: far I'll go to jail. Yeah that ain't no damn option.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Like you can't even go to the stove. Yeah, I'm
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: gonna swing around. I need a check fil a. They
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: don't have that in prison. All right, okay, all right, guys,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey

- 1:07:43Speaker 1: The fight has been pushed back to November twenty eight.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Was September twelfth. They're gonna move it back to November
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: twenty eighth. Now we never get this, understood, uncle, We
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: got who were gonna pick for this fight? You no,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: you won't in this one. Yeah. They had to move
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it back because somebody didn't look in shape. It wasn't
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Mike Tyson because he been with Sharks and stuff. Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: We love Roy Jones Junior too. We love Michelle yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: but see Royd on the stand though, Tyson training too
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: that you don't keep him more time? You him some
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: more time? Yeah, I forgot yeah no, uh and then
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: that's a good time because that's my husband of day day. Yeah.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: How does Roy anybody know? Oh it's no, Oh, he
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the same may just Mike, Yeah, Mike fifty four. Oh
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Mike is fifty four, then he's fifty one. Yeah yeah right,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: so you know, got all mind? Oh Mike, is it
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: in a particular reason why we got all our money
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: on Micaul? Everybody seemed to know what this is about. Well,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: see both of them old right, it's not gonna be
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: what you think it is not gonna be this great
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: fight because you're gonna see a lot of mispunchers, a
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: lot of them because they're time is gone and then
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: quick and the quick twitch muscles don't fire like they
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: used to. But the problem that Roy has is if
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Tyson do hit him, his ass is going to a
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: sleep that's different he hits him, he's going to a
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: sleep that's a special place. Yeah, that's when you sleep.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: And you ain't know you was going, hey man, I'm
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: going to bed. Man, I'm fitning go sleep. Now you
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: fitning go us sleep? Because rightfo you go to sleep.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: That's what you said. Said it didn't follow sleep all right.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: But also in other news, President Trump called the NBA
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: players very dumb and very nasty for kneeling during the
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: national anthem. Wow, it's the same two words, dumb and nasty?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Is it the other word? You know? It doesn't have.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: This is a guy who says he went to the
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: highest school in the nation Warden. Yeah, but his niece
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: has said, no, no, they got him in that school
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: that he's not. But listen, man, they're nearly period. Yeah,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: and you're not changing the narrative this time because those
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: black guys that play in the NBA. Know, if they
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: wasn't that tall and they had a uniform, they're in
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: the target zone. Yeah right, exactly, yeah, exactly, that's exactly
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: why they're not playing with this. Yep, thank you, Junior.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Tell me
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: something good, some good news. You're listening, tell me something good.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You hear Steve singing in the background. It's time for
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: tell me something good news. The good news for today
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: is we said it earlier. Black girl, Magic Baby YEA.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Senator Kamala Harris has become the first black woman to
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: be nominated for a national office by a major political party.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: That would be the Democrats. The Biden Harris team will
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: make their first appearance as Democrats today at a campaign
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: event in Delaware. Yes, congratulations. I mean it's the victory
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: of course for us as black women, but for all women.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: And you know, this is a winning ticket. I see
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: it as and we just have to do our parts
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: now and get out there. Yeah, it's all is a Look,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: let's make this one day of Rob Ross's boom ball
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and the rest of it. Let's get to business. Okay,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: we have a presidential candidate. It's Kamala Harris, we ain't
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: got to keep winning that she Black. We got it
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: because I'm telling you, that is a sector of people
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: in this country that ain't happy about the very same
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: fact that we're cheering for that. Yeah, it's a sector
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: that's going well. I'll be damned. This is ridiculous. And
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you gotta be conscious of women who are not supportive
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: of each other. That's why it takes an all out
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: massive effort of us all to get out to these poles,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: because there are women. I'll be damn if she gonna
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: get in. I'm telling you, man, it's some thinking that's
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: going on in this country that he has brought out
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: to the forefront that yet that they used to try
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to keep up under the rug. But he has made
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: it a OK. And I'm not I'm not falling for it,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and we're not gonna go for this. Uh. You know,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: he's so far behind in the pose. He was behind
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: the pose in Hillary in all poles, was more shocked
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: when he won than him. Yea, everybody was shocked except Russia,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: who you said. He said, everyone was surprised accept us.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Why would a foreign country who's supposed to be an
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: adversary of ours be tipping champagne glasses over our election. Yeah,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: why do you care who our president is? They got
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: involved with it, exactly, and he has not punished them.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: That's right. He's their puppet. He can't say nothing against him.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: M wow. But I mean still, Steve, I understand what
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: you're saying. But black girl magic is just it's just
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: so I ain't man fantastic a man because women. Yeah,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: for right now and then we got to get to work.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: That's true. That's true. That's true. This is a great victory.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: It is for for for everyone. I mean it really is.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: And all that we do for the Democratic part, black
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: women go out and vote. Yes, yes, young women get
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: to see another positive image. Yes, thank you, Junior. Called balance.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: It's called balance. Yeah, to be VP, because we see
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: a lot of the other stuff, right actually vice president? Yes, yes,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: she said, how many more days? See some day? All
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: this don't be always. It's a lot of people. Dog,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you. If I hadn't made it in radio,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: that's the dude I would be. That ought to be
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: my new character to dude to stay across the street.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: They be talking, they'd be talking across the street on
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the porch, porch talk Talk, A new character is born.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I love it by eight. What do you say some day,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: some day out of and do all the zoo? What
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: shall we do? What shall we do? Black girls? White?
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: All right? Ain't some mode? How many bye? Ain't it
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: some mode? All right? Coming up more of today's trending
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: stand off while I'm trying to die. We'll be back

- 1:15:33Speaker 1: listening to the show. Well In trending COVID nineteen news,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Russia is now claiming to have won the worldwide weight
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: worldwide race. Not easy for me to say. To create
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: a COVID nineteen vaccine. Despite international skepticism, Russia became the
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: first country to register a coronavirus vaccine and declare it
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: ready for you, even though it hasn't yet begun phase
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: three trials, which could take months. Russian President Vladimir Putin
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: insisted that the vaccine has gone through all of the
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: necessary tests. And get this, he is already given the
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: vaccine to one of his daughters, one of his adult daughters,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: and he says she's feeling well and has a high
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: number of antibodies. Now, Putin says that doctors medical workers, teachers,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and other high risk groups will be the first to
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: receive the vaccine and will likely begin widespread vaccination in
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: September or October. She's very well, Porch heard the Russian
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: daughter Peale fallen ill. Well, I'm awaking it now, Pale gown,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: take a train and try to get walk. Has anybody
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: tried it yet? He gave it to us? Great a girl,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: you here, He always talked my wife folk. All right,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: all right, we'll have more of this about a week
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: before at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Well, well, well we
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: all know the news. Yesterday Joe Biden made it official
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: California Senator Kamala Harris will be his running mate. Applause
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: right here insert applause. Yeay yeah, yeay, yay. That shocked
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: me right there. That shot really what She was number
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: one on his one Yeah yeah, number one on his list.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, this marm. I mean, it's just still a shock.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I just did not believe that a black woman would
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: be Oh that's the part that shocked me, that this
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: is that going in and I'm like, it's about fun though,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: it's way overdue. I believe it can happen because I
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: was completely stunned at the nomination of Barack Obama because
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: in my lifetime I didn't foresee that happening, and then
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: it happened. So this is another very very real possibility, Yes, sir,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: And you're right soon though, Steve. It's like it's like
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: it's right behind that, you know, you like, can this
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: happened that quickly? You mean back to back, meaning Kamala
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: and President Obama. Can that happened that close? You don't
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: think we had enough with Donald Trump in between. I
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: think we've had plenty. I'm just saying, yeah, I think
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: he's putting enough space in him. Yeah, in the climate
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: where you know, I think you said it best earlier,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: see where he said people are at home during this
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: COVID so they can see the the racism that's going
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: on in this country, you know. And this is just
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: a good thing. This is just a really good thing.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: We just have to continue it. Do our part, get
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: up and vote. That's you know. Anyway. This marks yeah,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: this marks the first time a black woman as part
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: of the presidential ticket for a major party. Her resume
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: includes a stint as attorney General of California four years
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: as a US Senator, and an email to support his
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: On Tuesday, Biden said I need someone working alongside me
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: who is smart, tough, and ready to lead. Kamala is
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: that person. Kamala Harris said on Twitter that Biden can
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: unify the American people because he spent his life fighting
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: for us. She said Biden would build a country that
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: lives up to our ideals. Biden and Harris are set
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: to appear together for the first time as running mates
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: today Wilmington, Delaware's yeah hometown. Yeah, all right, way to
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: kick it off, and they actually start the Democratic Convention
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: next week. Ral virtual virtually, I don't know, viral version
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Internet coming up. It's our last break of the day.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: It's lady both day and coming up. We'll have some
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: closing remarks at forty nine minutes after from the one
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: show all right, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: the day. WHOA all right, Kamala Harris. Good day Wednesday,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: women women crush Wednesday. Yes, she is our woman crushed today.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: That is true. Russian on her, Yeah, yeh, Russian on
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Kamala Kamala Harris. That's it. Yes, and she looked better
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: than both Hall opponents. Congratulations. Yeah, there's still more work
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: to be done. Eighty three days left until the election
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: November third. We want to vote early, though, Steve. Yeah,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: listen to everybody. We are pushing this. I had a
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: really serious conference called with two of my frat brothers, D. L.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Hugley and Ricky Smiley, and we got together because we
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: happened to be all men of Omega Sci Fi. And
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: as we were talking, we decided to unify, to set
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: aside the fact that we were on competitive stations, sometimes
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: in competitive markets and sometimes in competitive adio ownership, because
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: there's something more important here. And we decided there since
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: we were such a huge part of radio in mornings
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: and in the afternoon drive, the three of us got together,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: research the best website and decided to unify because it
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: doesn't matter. We are all in this together. It is
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: not time to be divisive on this subject of the
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: presidency in voting. The brothers of Omega Side Fire. We
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: are not the only fat I understand that that's some
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: great fraternities out there. Tommy's a member of KA Side
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Jay is a member of five Beta Sigma. Roland Martin
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: is an alpha here Harp is an alpha. It's some
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: great brothers out there. It's some great sisters out there, Zetas, Deltas,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Sigma Gamble ros Aka's the Iotas is out there. You know,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: it's some bad it's some bad people out there. Listen
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: to me. That ain't what this is about. This is
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: about us, all of us as a part of this country,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: positioning ourselves to make it better for those people who
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: have to deal and level themselves and comprehend with all
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: the policy that's gonna come out of this White House.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: We have been on the receiving end of some bad
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: policies to come out of that White House. Don't you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: think for a minute that these immigration laws, this banning
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: of Muslim travel, the ending of the Docker program. Don't
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you think calling all of these NBA players nasty, supporting
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: all police no matter what, never trying to make the
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: protesters feel better in the Black Live movement. Don't you
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: think that every negative thing he's ever said about any
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: person of color who has stood up and protested for
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: their rights, that they shouldn't have to protest for. See,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: we're supposed to have these rights. You would be sick
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and tired of fighting for rights if they was yours
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: in the first place, that you were supposed to have.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Why we got to fight for But we have a
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: president man that don't raise his voice about your rights.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but I'm sick of this.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I'm sick of his policies. I'm sick of his divisive rhetoric.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I'm sick of him supporting everything that got that's against
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: all people of color. He got the nerd and say,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I've done more for black people than any president since
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Abe Lincoln. What do you do y'all? You talking about
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the prison reform bill, Well, thanks for signing it, But
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I ain't never been to prison. The majority of black
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: people I know have never been to prison, never even
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: visited one. The majority of men that I grew up
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: had never seen the door of a prison. So appreciate
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: the reform bill, But can I tell you something. All
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you did was correct or wrong. Half the people you
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: free shouldn't have been in there in the first place.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: But because we have such an inequality in our judicial system,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: we flood the gates of the prisons. And so you
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: came along and passed the build that right and wrong.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Thanks appreciate that, But you didn't do that for black people.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: You did that so you could get black people to
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: thank you done something for them so you could be
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: president again. You ain't ever done nothing for black people
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: who you rent your places too? Yours policy against renting
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: from average citizens. Oh you let rich people stay in
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: your buildings. I've been in there. You ain't got no
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: problem with that. But that was long before you was president.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: But see, sir, we are tired of the divisiveness and
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: we want to change. And in order to change, we
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: have to vote me. Ricky Smiley and D. L. Hugley
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: have gotten together. We are calling on the entire Panelinic Council,
