- 2:05Speaker 4: Are you listening to the voice? Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 4: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:14Speaker 4: I got something for you today. I'm gonna have a
- 2:20Speaker 4: conversation this morning about my understanding of grace now that
- 2:25Speaker 4: I've gotten older and I've come into a better understanding
- 2:29Speaker 4: of a lot of things I didn't know about when
- 2:31Speaker 4: I was younger. This is just my interpretation of grace.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Now once again, y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor,
- 2:42Speaker 4: I ain't nobody's minister. So you know, I'm pretty sure
- 2:45Speaker 4: you can go to church and get a far more
- 2:47Speaker 4: extensive definition of one I'm giving you. I'm just talking
- 2:50Speaker 4: to people. You know, Grace is this thing that God
- 2:57Speaker 4: provides for us, and grace is just things that you
- 3:03Speaker 4: get that's really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look
- 3:07Speaker 4: in my life as it is today. You know, Look,
- 3:09Speaker 4: I work hard and I have faith in God that
- 3:12Speaker 4: I do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 3:16Speaker 4: But the way my life is now, I don't don't.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I don't deserve all of this, don't. I don't look
- 3:22Speaker 4: at it that way. I have been the beneficiary of
- 3:26Speaker 4: God's grace. I have aligned myself in a position to
- 3:31Speaker 4: accept whatever grace God has for me, and it will
- 3:35Speaker 4: be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you could think of.
- 3:41Speaker 4: His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 4: the goals that I set and the aspirations that I
- 3:49Speaker 4: shoot for, and the things that I have on my
- 3:51Speaker 4: dream board. I have the faith that God will give
- 3:54Speaker 4: it to me. But what He does with grace, he
- 3:56Speaker 4: gives you far more than that. He gives you what
- 3:59Speaker 4: He has for you, not what you can see. You
- 4:02Speaker 4: can't see all he has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:05Speaker 8: Who are you?
- 4:06Speaker 4: How can you possibly imagine what he can imagine? How
- 4:09Speaker 4: can you possibly think? How he can think? How can
- 4:12Speaker 4: you possibly do what he can do? How can it
- 4:15Speaker 4: be that isn't a single mind living or a collection
- 4:19Speaker 4: of minds that could have thought of Earth? What in
- 4:23Speaker 4: your wildest imagination could have made you think of Earth?
- 4:27Speaker 4: The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy, the constellations.
- 4:33Speaker 4: What in your mind? What in any man's mind? We
- 4:37Speaker 4: can point at it and analyze it, but we show
- 4:39Speaker 4: couldn't have thought of it. So come on, now, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 4: talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which he
- 4:48Speaker 4: will give to you if you want some of it now.
- 4:52Speaker 4: But now his thing about grace, it can't be bought.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Could if it could be bought, I'm telling you I
- 4:58Speaker 4: would pull all the money I have and dump it
- 5:02Speaker 4: into grace, because, after discovering what it is, it's this
- 5:08Speaker 4: goodness that God shines on you simply as a reward
- 5:13Speaker 4: of some type for his love for you and for
- 5:16Speaker 4: you attempting for you attempting to do right, not because
- 5:22Speaker 4: you get it right. Because if He judged us purely
- 5:24Speaker 4: on how we are the right and wrong of it,
- 5:27Speaker 4: we would all be doomed, all of us, every last
- 5:32Speaker 4: one of us would be doomed because we all fall short,
- 5:36Speaker 4: we all make mistakes, we all sin, we all get
- 5:40Speaker 4: it wrong from time to time, nobody's perfect.
- 5:44Speaker 10: Man.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Now I understand what my mother was saying about cleaning
- 5:48Speaker 4: the house. All I want is a little more grace.
- 5:51Speaker 4: All I need is a little more grace when the
- 5:54Speaker 4: last time you ask God for some grace. Now, I'm
- 5:56Speaker 4: not talking to you like I know everything. If you
- 6:00Speaker 4: just benefit from His grace what you already have. But
- 6:04Speaker 4: if you're not aware of it, you don't know what's
- 6:06Speaker 4: going on. Become aware of grace. Get aware of the
- 6:10Speaker 4: fact that God does things for you simply because He
- 6:13Speaker 4: loves you. He does things for you that you don't
- 6:16Speaker 4: even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just got
- 6:19Speaker 4: over when you didn't even do the things to get over.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Sometimes you don't even know how you got that job
- 6:27Speaker 4: you got when you ain't even really do the things
- 6:29Speaker 4: to get your job. How you end up where you
- 6:31Speaker 4: are all the education you thought you went and got,
- 6:34Speaker 4: and hey, how you end up where you are today
- 6:37Speaker 4: in a much better position than your education could have
- 6:39Speaker 4: ever gotten you. That's grace. How I get every place
- 6:44Speaker 4: I am today. I didn't plan this, Man. If I
- 6:47Speaker 4: could have planned my life the way it is, don't
- 6:49Speaker 4: you know how'd have done it? When I was living
- 6:50Speaker 4: in that car if I knew how to do it. No,
- 6:53Speaker 4: I benefited from his grace. I'm just a beneficiary of
- 6:59Speaker 4: his grace, of his goodness and his mercy. God's goodness
- 7:03Speaker 4: is better than your goodness. God's goodness is better than
- 7:07Speaker 4: your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's or your
- 7:10Speaker 4: husband or your boo's goodness. God's goodness is different. His
- 7:15Speaker 4: goodness Man covers some stuff you can't even imagine. So
- 7:20Speaker 4: why are you trying to put your life together when
- 7:23Speaker 4: the last time you asked him for just a little
- 7:25Speaker 4: bit of grace? When have you thought of your life
- 7:29Speaker 4: in terms of the grace that it has already benefited from?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Have you ever done that?
- 7:36Speaker 7: Man?
- 7:36Speaker 4: Just thought about you know you hear songs like my soul,
- 7:39Speaker 4: look back and wonder how I got over? That was grace,
- 7:42Speaker 4: That's all I can call it. Now. Like I said,
- 7:44Speaker 4: you can go with church or somewherever you want to,
- 7:46Speaker 4: and ministers that the window at school to teach this
- 7:49Speaker 4: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
- 7:51Speaker 4: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Would you not bewalled to be a beneficiary of his grace?
- 7:59Speaker 4: Would it not say now, check this out. The better
- 8:02Speaker 4: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Now that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 8:10Speaker 4: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to
- 8:13Speaker 4: become the more the more grace he gets to put
- 8:16Speaker 4: your way. So man, just try. Why don't you just
- 8:20Speaker 4: try to do better? Look, man, quit talking aout. I'm
- 8:24Speaker 4: gonna start next week. I'm gonna start at the new year,
- 8:26Speaker 4: now you not. Yeah, you do that every year ever,
- 8:29Speaker 4: at the new year. I wanna eat better at the
- 8:31Speaker 4: new year. I'm I'm gonna go get in here and
- 8:33Speaker 4: the new year. If you're gonna do it, you're gonna
- 8:35Speaker 4: do it now. Man, you're gonna do it now. Stop
- 8:39Speaker 4: trying do something, do it, stop talking about it, do
- 8:43Speaker 4: it now. The best way to benefit from his grace
- 8:46Speaker 4: is starting action now. N O W now, right now today,
- 8:53Speaker 4: what you're waiting on, all you doing is delaying his
- 8:57Speaker 4: opportunity to bless you. You know, man, do you know
- 9:01Speaker 4: how many times we do that? We delay his opportunity
- 9:05Speaker 4: to bless us by not starting now. If you gonna
- 9:08Speaker 4: get healthy, why don't you start now? Now you're gonna
- 9:11Speaker 4: trip a little bit because the holiday's coming. But you
- 9:13Speaker 4: ain't got to eat bad all the time. You could
- 9:15Speaker 4: start eating correct today you could, you could and then
- 9:20Speaker 4: guess what that could be? Some grace on the end
- 9:22Speaker 4: of that. I'm just giving you a little cheap analogy.
- 9:25Speaker 4: But do you feel what I'm saying to you? Start
- 9:28Speaker 4: thinking in terms of grace? What He has done for
- 9:31Speaker 4: you and provided for you that you ain't even see coming.
- 9:33Speaker 4: That you know, you keep calling them blessings, and I
- 9:36Speaker 4: got that. A lot of it OUs all it is.
- 9:38Speaker 4: But man, have you thought about the stuff that didn't
- 9:40Speaker 4: happened to you you can't account for. For me, that's
- 9:45Speaker 4: been grace and I'm beneficiary of it. And that's available
- 9:49Speaker 4: to everybody that won't sung. Next time you're talking to him,
- 9:52Speaker 4: just check in with grace. See what that is. That's
- 9:55Speaker 4: that's better than money.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Morning, Now, have your divided attention, please, this is the
- 10:06Speaker 4: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Now, I would suggest to you
- 10:10Speaker 4: that you'd be grateful for today, seeing us how you
- 10:12Speaker 4: ain't had nothing to do with today coming. Therefore, let's
- 10:16Speaker 4: give credit an honor to who did that would be
- 10:19Speaker 4: the Almighty. Now, with that in mind. Let's just go
- 10:23Speaker 4: and get this thing started today. Shelley Strawberry College for Real, Mississippi,
- 10:26Speaker 4: Monica Junior and the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:30Speaker 9: We've had a little pre show meeting and I know
- 10:33Speaker 9: what you.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Upset about in real life, but just for radio purposes,
- 10:37Speaker 4: what's going on today, and let's not discuss what we
- 10:41Speaker 4: discussed on the pre show.
- 10:44Speaker 11: Okay, uncle, you know, man, I just want to ask
- 10:46Speaker 11: you this, unc man.
- 10:47Speaker 12: You always talk about every morning being grateful, saying thanks,
- 10:51Speaker 12: saying that, Hey man, this is a new day, new opportunity.
- 10:54Speaker 12: Sitting there going well, is it how important it is
- 10:57Speaker 12: for us to pay attention to what God actually is doing?
- 11:00Speaker 12: And can you take note and say, hey, this is
- 11:02Speaker 12: what I know. He's here, he's available, here, he's available here,
- 11:05Speaker 12: he's here, he's.
- 11:06Speaker 11: Done this, he's done that. How do you know do
- 11:09Speaker 11: you pay attention to your own situation?
- 11:11Speaker 9: Well, well, let me let me ask you this. So
- 11:13Speaker 9: let me make this statement.
- 11:15Speaker 4: If you don't pay attention to what all God is doing,
- 11:19Speaker 4: some post he stopped doing what he do Yeah, I
- 11:26Speaker 4: been here.
- 11:26Speaker 9: Have your attention?
- 11:27Speaker 4: Then all this free breathing you doing all this sunlight,
- 11:36Speaker 4: all this, all this, you know, vegetation, all this, all
- 11:41Speaker 4: this guy, if he stopped doing what he doing what
- 11:44Speaker 4: he does, what would happen. It's just what we need
- 11:49Speaker 4: is a more of an awareness of the fact that
- 11:53Speaker 4: God is who he is. And that's all I try
- 11:57Speaker 4: to encourage or implore people to do. It's just become
- 12:00Speaker 4: more conscious of it. Stop waking up, man, thinking this
- 12:04Speaker 4: how it's supposed to be, because the moment it goes
- 12:09Speaker 4: contrary to the way you think it's supposed to be.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Now you want to call it, oh Lord, woe is me?
- 12:16Speaker 4: What about all the times that it's going right? Where
- 12:21Speaker 4: are you when it's going right?
- 12:23Speaker 9: You know, you don't want to always have to go
- 12:25Speaker 9: to God with old Lord, woe is me?
- 12:28Speaker 4: That's why I suggest you start with, Hey, I appreciate this, man.
- 12:31Speaker 4: This is a great day, What a wonderful opportunity. I
- 12:34Speaker 4: thank you for this moment of peace that I'm having.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Do you know I was just thanking God the other
- 12:39Speaker 4: day for this peace period that.
- 12:40Speaker 7: I'm going through.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I'm just in peace, man, you know. And you know
- 12:44Speaker 4: what you know people talking about well, I don't know
- 12:46Speaker 4: how long that's gonna last.
- 12:48Speaker 7: For what you're crying for.
- 12:49Speaker 4: See, I do know it's gonna rain, but it ain't
- 12:52Speaker 4: raining today, so enjoy the moment. Anxiety is caused when
- 12:59Speaker 4: people produce tomorrow into their day.
- 13:02Speaker 9: That is all anxiety is. If you take.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Tomorrow's concerns, woes, and troubles and you bring them into today,
- 13:11Speaker 4: you are not about to feel anxiety. That is a
- 13:15Speaker 4: major cause for anxiety. Worry about something you ain't got
- 13:19Speaker 4: no control over.
- 13:23Speaker 8: Amen to that? What amen to stop?
- 13:28Speaker 13: But you just keep getting You've better preach up in here, alright,
- 13:32Speaker 13: whole word coming up. At thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:35Speaker 13: we will hear from a nephew. The foolishness begins right now.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Run that brank dark start.
- 13:44Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for the nephew to
- 13:49Speaker 1: run that brank back. Nephew, what you got for us?
- 13:52Speaker 14: This right here, yeah, is thunder bolt. And I ain't
- 13:56Speaker 14: scared of it. I ain't never scared. Well, it's not true.
- 14:01Speaker 14: I mean a little bit. I'm starting to get over that.
- 14:04Speaker 14: I'm really starting to get over slowly getting the boat.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Let's go get up, Hello, hey man, let me let
- 14:11Speaker 5: me not here. Who's called, Hey, just thurned the boat
- 14:14Speaker 5: from the club man. What times she get in on
- 14:17Speaker 5: the boat? Hello? Yeah, yeah, this done the boat man?
- 14:20Speaker 5: What times she get in?
- 14:22Speaker 3: What you mean what time you get in?
- 14:23Speaker 5: Uh?
- 14:24Speaker 3: She ain't in here now, but you know what I mean,
- 14:26Speaker 3: I'm what you need.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Hey. Uh, I'm trying to following up on. I'm trying
- 14:31Speaker 5: to actually get an address and stuff. Man, she got
- 14:33Speaker 5: me dancing this weekend on Saturday night, and I want
- 14:35Speaker 5: to see it. Make sure I got to address and everything.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Everything still on. You know, I already gave much lot up.
- 14:40Speaker 3: He got you dancing?
- 14:42Speaker 5: Say what not?
- 14:43Speaker 3: What you mean she got you dancing?
- 14:45Speaker 5: She asked me to do some male dancing on Saturday night.
- 14:47Speaker 5: So I went on and took off at the club.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And uh, you know she's already got my guy, ain't
- 14:52Speaker 3: she ain't had to do no male dancing. My guess now,
- 14:55Speaker 3: my guys, he goes, she goes to school at night
- 14:57Speaker 3: and weekend, so you know she'.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Okay, okay, who it is?
- 15:03Speaker 3: I ain't David David fiance? What yeah, that's my gas?
- 15:07Speaker 5: Hold on, hold on, hold on, squeaking fin to.

- 15:25Speaker 5: My gas? She come to the club on Saturday. She
- 15:27Speaker 5: asked me about doing some dancing for this coming Saturday,
- 15:30Speaker 5: so she already gave me half the money.
- 15:31Speaker 3: He comes to the club on Saturdays. Now, my girls,
- 15:34Speaker 3: she goes to school on Saturdays.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Man, you know now what Listen, First of all, I'm
- 15:40Speaker 5: blown way by you're trying to tell me squeaking married
- 15:42Speaker 5: that that you got me really toe up with her.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I don't know, no, no, squeak, that's what we call
- 15:47Speaker 3: her at the club.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Man. Man, look at I'm not finna get into all
- 15:50Speaker 5: of that. What I'm really calling by this she got
- 15:52Speaker 5: me working this weekend doing some dancing, and I'm trying
- 15:55Speaker 5: to just make sure that we're all for this week
- 15:57Speaker 5: because I didn't give my spot up at the club.
- 15:59Speaker 3: You're trying to tell me, Michael hanging out at a
- 16:01Speaker 3: buck naked club, But dance.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Man Squeaky been coming up in there. Man, for the
- 16:06Speaker 5: last buck a week.

- 16:21Speaker 3: Have you gotta handle it? Talk to whoever you got
- 16:22Speaker 3: to to get your little money.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Or whatever or no, no, no, no, hold up, but
- 16:25Speaker 5: I can get my slot. I'm gonna wait a minute, mate,
- 16:28Speaker 5: that that's not say as you listening, man, I can't
- 16:32Speaker 5: get my slide back at the club now. Squeaky got
- 16:34Speaker 5: to give me the remaining balance, man, even if she
- 16:36Speaker 5: ain't gonna do, I need my other wanning balance.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I can't gonna give you the raining bounce of nothing.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Hey man, I need to ring my money that that
- 16:43Speaker 3: she gave you. What you're saying anything, you can just

- 16:49Speaker 5: I need my one fitty.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Umber boats gonna get his quips.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Well, then that's what you got to do. And that's
- 16:54Speaker 5: what you got to do, man.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I told you what that's for, Thunderboat. For anything, to
- 16:58Speaker 3: get no cat talking about calling squat kid out of it.
- 17:01Speaker 3: So I ain't working for to give money away to
- 17:04Speaker 3: some the boat lighting or whatever.
- 17:07Speaker 5: He ain't man, Look man, it's Thunderboat. It ain't lighting.
- 17:09Speaker 5: It's Thunderboat. Lightning worked on wednesdaynight, Just Thunderboat.

- 17:15Speaker 3: but you need to holler that them. But don't be
- 17:16Speaker 3: calling here asking my gal to give you some money.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Ain't giving you cause she don't make nothing.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I'm coming over there now and get my money from Squeaky.
- 17:26Speaker 5: I ain't hearing it.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Don't make nothing. I take all the money around here,
- 17:31Speaker 3: so you ain't gonna get nothing from over year finding
- 17:33Speaker 3: So you can wipe that your mind.
- 17:36Speaker 5: I'm coming over there to get my money from Squeaky today.

- 17:53Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. Bring them on over here, and
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'm gonna show you lightning. I ain't know you got
- 17:58Speaker 3: some money already. She riding here and gives you money away.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I'm suddenly. I'll tell you what you bring your over
- 18:04Speaker 3: whether you want to and watch for so down.

- 30:12Speaker 13: President Biden has signed a bill to potentially ban TikTok
- 30:16Speaker 13: in the US if the company doesn't find a buyer. TikTok,
- 30:20Speaker 13: of course, is Chinese owned, yeah, and US lawmakers warned
- 30:24Speaker 13: that the Chinese government could easily have access to the
- 30:27Speaker 13: sensitive data of its over one hundred and seventy million users.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So, Steve, you're a TikTok. You're on TikTok, right, Steve

- 30:48Speaker 13: impact them?
- 30:49Speaker 2: Well, let me say, I don't know about Steve, but
- 30:52Speaker 2: in my household, this is the most devastating you have

- 31:01Speaker 2: have a house full of teenagers that.
- 31:03Speaker 11: Come over all the time.
- 31:05Speaker 1: No, they gonna be like Mama, who can we call?
- 31:08Speaker 1: Is their petition.
- 31:11Speaker 7: To sign.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Yeah, my stylist Elie Caromo, if he hear this.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It's devastating, right.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Because let me tell you something, I have never met
- 31:27Speaker 4: nobody that stay on tip his phone, stay uncharged.
- 31:32Speaker 7: Out of power.

- 31:41Speaker 4: a week. Can Yeah, stupid, And then he go on
- 31:48Speaker 4: TikTok for that, and he gets all his news on TikTok.
- 31:51Speaker 16: Yah.

- 32:02Speaker 4: you know that's TikTok. Mister Harvey.
- 32:04Speaker 1: It's on TikTok, So that makes it true and real.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yes, he came in there with his face burned up
- 32:11Speaker 4: the other day, saw something on TikTok. Tried it at
- 32:14Speaker 4: the house.
- 32:15Speaker 7: One of those challenges he tried.
- 32:18Speaker 4: He tried his faith.
- 32:24Speaker 17: Yeah, some vinegar with some baking soda and yeah, the
- 32:29Speaker 17: little boy he wanted to Sometimes TikTok has some good
- 32:33Speaker 17: stuff on you, So they need to find a way
- 32:36Speaker 17: to maybe balance it out.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they're concerned about the data.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Yeah, here his problem data TikTok may have some good
- 32:46Speaker 4: stuff on it, but he tried everything, that's what so so,

- 34:31Speaker 13: created a fake Twitter or x account so she can
- 34:34Speaker 13: clap back at a few of the haters that leave
- 34:36Speaker 13: mean comments. So see, would you ever create a fake
- 34:40Speaker 13: Instagram or x account just so you can clap back
- 34:43Speaker 13: at your haters?
- 34:45Speaker 2: No, that's what.

- 54:00Speaker 13: we're going to read this one right here, right now,

- 54:06Speaker 7: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:08Speaker 7: We got it for you.
- 54:09Speaker 5: Here.
- 54:09Speaker 7: It is Strawberry LETTA.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 54:12Speaker 13: Subject It's always my fault. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband
- 54:17Speaker 13: and I have been married for nine years. In the beginning,
- 54:20Speaker 13: we talked about starting a family, but he wasn't able
- 54:23Speaker 13: to make that happen. We went to see a specialist
- 54:26Speaker 13: and we were told that his little swimmers are weak.
- 54:29Speaker 13: The doctor said he should improve his diet and exercise
- 54:32Speaker 13: more often. But my husband made his issue my fault
- 54:36Speaker 13: because I cook a lot of red meat and we
- 54:38Speaker 13: eat a lot of bread and potatoes. I was so
- 54:40Speaker 13: hurt that he blamed that on me. Then sex with
- 54:44Speaker 13: him got worse Gradually. He said, it's all my fault
- 54:47Speaker 13: because I come to bed partially naked and wearing a
- 54:50Speaker 13: scarf over my hair. He said those visuals don't go together,
- 54:54Speaker 13: and he can't perform with me looking unpresentable. That hurt
- 54:58Speaker 13: my feelings too. The bottom line is he cannot perform
- 55:02Speaker 13: and his main character is smaller than normal. I have
- 55:05Speaker 13: kept it in for so huh. I've kept it in
- 55:10Speaker 13: for so long, and I finally got to tell him
- 55:12Speaker 13: how I really feel. We were being intimate and he
- 55:15Speaker 13: made a loud noise and slid away from me. He
- 55:18Speaker 13: said it felt like he pulled a muscle after I
- 55:21Speaker 13: flipped over too quickly on him. He said I was
- 55:24Speaker 13: being wild. I told him I was doing all I
- 55:27Speaker 13: could so it would stay put. I told him I
- 55:30Speaker 13: was glad he pulled a muscle because I was tired
- 55:32Speaker 13: of faking the funk with him. Now he's walking around
- 55:36Speaker 13: the house with a heating pad velcrow to his back,
- 55:39Speaker 13: and I think he's the most foolish man I've ever met.
- 55:43Speaker 13: How can everything that's wrong, especially in his private areas,
- 55:47Speaker 13: be my fault? What do you think is he blaming
- 55:50Speaker 13: me for everything to cover up his own shortcomings. Is
- 55:55Speaker 13: he blaming you for everything to cover up for his
- 55:58Speaker 13: own shortcomings? Well, in a word, yes, no man wants
- 56:03Speaker 13: to face the fact that he's not the man he
- 56:05Speaker 13: thinks he is. He's not large in size, and the
- 56:08Speaker 13: doctor says he has weak sperm. All that is a
- 56:11Speaker 13: big blow to a man's ego, for sure. But instead
- 56:15Speaker 13: of trying to deal with this in a mature manner,
- 56:19Speaker 13: he's using it as a distraction because the real issue
- 56:22Speaker 13: is you wanting children and him not being able to
- 56:25Speaker 13: give you children. That is not your fault period. That
- 56:29Speaker 13: is a medical problem on his part, like the doctor said,
- 56:34Speaker 13: who also gave him some solutions that could help him
- 56:37Speaker 13: build himself up. The way he's acting the way he's acting,
- 56:43Speaker 13: Are you sure you even want kids with this man?
- 56:46Speaker 13: I mean, I know he's your husband. But it's good
- 56:49Speaker 13: that all this came out because now you know how
- 56:51Speaker 13: he really feels about you, and it's not very favorable.
- 56:55Speaker 13: He hurts your feelings because he can't handle the truth
- 56:58Speaker 13: about himself.
- 57:00Speaker 4: Steve Sherley, where did you see that they gave him
- 57:03Speaker 4: something to do to help himself? I missed that part.
- 57:07Speaker 13: Oh, The doctor said he should improve his diet and
- 57:09Speaker 13: exercise more often.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I see that. Okay, thank you.
- 57:14Speaker 4: I was lost that was up at the top. Oh
- 57:16Speaker 4: that's right, because you end your letter back at the top. Okay,
- 57:20Speaker 4: all right, I got it now, thank you. Here's the problem.
- 57:24Speaker 4: Let's just get to this letter right here. Now, I'm
- 57:27Speaker 4: gonna read this letter, but as a man, so this
- 57:32Speaker 4: woman don't feel bad. I'm gonna give you the cause
- 57:34Speaker 4: of all his problem. Y'all got married nine years. In
- 57:38Speaker 4: the beginning, y'all talked about have a family, but he
- 57:41Speaker 4: wasn't able to make that happen. That's a true statement.
- 57:44Speaker 4: We see especialists and we were told that, let's just
- 57:48Speaker 4: get to this. His little swimmers are weak. Now let
- 57:52Speaker 4: me tell you why you have weak little swimmers. We
- 57:55Speaker 4: are not gonna say nothing nasty because this is all
- 57:58Speaker 4: part of uh like health and education. In class, these
- 58:01Speaker 4: little swimmers are referred to the technical name or sperm. Now,
- 58:07Speaker 4: the reason you have little weak swimmers, it's cast swimmers
- 58:12Speaker 4: need exercise to be big and strong. And whether you
- 58:16Speaker 4: get your exercise that as a little swimmer in the
- 58:20Speaker 4: little swimmer swimming pool, you get your exercise in the
- 58:25Speaker 4: little swimming swimming canal. Now we have a problem because
- 58:31Speaker 4: you said his main character is smaller than normal. Well,
- 58:39Speaker 4: now that means the swimming canal and the swimming pool
- 58:44Speaker 4: is little hard to do laps in the kittie pool.
- 58:47Speaker 4: It's hard. You know, all of us have children, and
- 58:50Speaker 4: all of us that bought our kids a kiddie pool
- 58:52Speaker 4: at one point in time. You go out there and
- 58:55Speaker 4: fill it up with the holes if you want to.
- 58:56Speaker 4: But you can't do a lap in a kitty pool.
- 58:59Speaker 4: You need that pool or a swimming pool. But his
- 59:03Speaker 4: main character is small, so he got a kiddie pool.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Now he got the litt bity little weak swimmers, and
- 59:11Speaker 4: they tied too. Weak swimmers get tied. They can't make it,
- 59:16Speaker 4: and we can't make it. We can't make it. We
- 59:19Speaker 4: can't get nowhere because they're weak. Now that we got
- 59:22Speaker 4: that out the way, let me help this lady.
- 59:24Speaker 7: In the letter, the doctor.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Said he should improve his diet and exercise more often.
- 59:31Speaker 4: Now fat boy ain't took his ass to the gym
- 59:35Speaker 4: and time. And now he say that's your fault because
- 59:39Speaker 4: you cook a lot of red meat and we eat
- 59:41Speaker 4: a lot of bread and potatoes. I was so hurt
- 59:44Speaker 4: that he blamed it on me that the sex got
- 59:47Speaker 4: worse gradually. How can it get worse? Lord?
- 59:52Speaker 15: Message?
- 59:53Speaker 4: He said, it's my fault because I come to bed
- 59:57Speaker 4: partially naked and wearing a scarf.
- 59:59Speaker 5: Of them.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: Hell, that's do you know how much if you come
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: partially naked with a scoff that's Jay Pott, that's jack pot.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Don't don't that should be the greatest moment. They'll li
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: like she half nigger with a scarf on. You ain't
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: trying to do nothing to her scarff? What did you
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: worry about the scarf fa.
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: coming up.
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: Now, you worrying about the scarf fault?
- 1:00:27Speaker 13: At twenty three minutes after the hour of today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: subject It's always my fault. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: right after this.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: Morning show?
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:00:40Speaker 13: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:43Speaker 13: is it's always my fault.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: In all hones stuff. I feel sorry for this lady
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: because she got this man that's blaming her for everything,
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: and ain't none of this is her fault? They can't
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: have a family because they went to a specialist, and
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: specialist told her that they little swimmers is weak. Now,
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: I told you, in order for the little swimmers to
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: be able to grow up and be strong swimmers, if
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: they have to get a lot of exercise. And you
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: need exercise if you're a swimmer in a big pool.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: But if you're in a kittie pool and a little
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: bitty canal, you're not gonna be able to get no exercise.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: It's hard to do exercise in the kitty pool because
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: even if you move around a lot, you're gonna splash
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: the water out. Now it's on the floor. And now
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: you can't do nothing in the kitty pool and in
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: the canal he got the lady said, it's smaller. His
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: main character is smaller than normal. Lord, have mercy. Now
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: you got a little bitty a main character, and you
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: ain't got no kiddie pool. You got a kiddie pool.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: It's too much small messing here. That's why your swimmers
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: is weak. Now, the doctor said, like Shirley pointed out
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: to me that he needs to improve his diet and exercise.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Fat boy, he took his ad to the gym. Yet
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: now you blame you for the diet because y'all need
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: a lot of red meat, potatoes, and bread. All that
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: could be true, But I like potatoes and breathe. Yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: I ain't had no trouble my main character. As matter
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: of fact, I had talked to him all the time, say, man,
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: this ain't about you. Well that's what I have to
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: tell my main character sometimes this is not about you.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: And I'm telling you that now.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: Well, I'm just saying he's probably never had that conversation
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: with his main character. He the main character ain't doing
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: nothing right. Hey, hey, hey, your turn, my man, Hey,
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: what you doing?
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: Here?
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: We go?
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: He making up excuses why he can't get the main
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: character to play the lead role. See when you got
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: the main character, you got to have the lead role
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: in the play. Now, the starring lady in the play,
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: your co host. She come to bed half naked with
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: a scarf on her head. He say, those two don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: go together, and it's her fault that his main character
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: can't produce because she's unpresentable. She half naked, She is
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: presenting herself to the little swimming and the kiddie pool.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Your main character is not doing what he supposed to be.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: He got to stand up and be old fellow. It's
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: time to be an old fellow. You over here, you
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: little Pinocchio. That ain't the play we doing tonight, nadamnit.
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: Get to play right.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: Your main character is reading the wrong script. You is
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: not little Pinocchio.
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: And if you are, tell a lie, let's get some
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: growth hill.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Your one character good not following the script.
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: Listen to me.
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: If the script is a little Red winden Hook, we
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: need you to be the wolf. You can't be little
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: Red riding Hood.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: This ain't who we are. We need your main character
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: to be the wolf. If you the three Bears, you
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: can't keep being the little baby bear. You can't be Goldilocks.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: Damn it.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: You need to be Papa Bear. Your main character don't
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: know the play now. We was being intimate one time
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: and he made a lot of noise and slid away
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: from me. He said it felt like he pulled the
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: muscle after I flipped over too quickly on him. He
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: said I was being wild. I told him I was
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: doing all all I could so we could stay put.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Because the little character over here don't can't, can't, don't
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: know how to play the whole time. See the little character,
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: keep running around the playground. We on the sliding board.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Stay on the sliding board. What is your only last
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: going over there, getting on the staatsoft for we not
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: gotta finish on the sliding board. Now he come talking
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: about he done pull the muscle because and then he said,
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: and I told him I was glad he pulled the
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: muscle because I'm tired of faking it, trying to hold
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: you in place because your main character doing the wrong.
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: Play.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Name a couple of plays. Just give me a name
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: of a play, A popular play. Lady in Wiz okay,
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: the Wiz? Okay, the Wiz is good. When is you
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: gonna be the Wizard? Everybody can't be off to see
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: the Wizard. You need to tell your main character you
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: got to be the wizard, and you will. You stopping
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Poto ain't gonna make it stop being Toto the scarecrow,
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: fiddler on the roof, be the damn fiddler. Wow, I
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: mean you keep being the fiddle. You got to be
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: the main character. Come in here with your little violin ass.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: A matter of fact, you just come in here as
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: a couple of strange and we need to whole damn fiddler.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: Give me another play, any play?
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: I said Fences, Yes, you got to be Denzel. No problem,
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: can't be the sun. Come on, Pop, you can't beat
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: the Sun.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: I ain't got it, Pops, Come on, Pops, I ain't
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: got it. Shut up, boy, give me another plate. You
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: got to get your main character together, anything.
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: Romeo or Juliet. No, I ain't gonna beat Juliet.
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: Where Romeo? Damn beat the letter? Then climb up there.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: Do that?
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Get your roll together. Your main character is sloppy. He
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: not cutting it, lady. Let me just huh but Dia,
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: damn it.
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: Be my deal?
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: I think you get the point right. Leave your comments

- 1:07:03Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you got Junior?
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: Well, this is out of nowhere.
- 1:07:12Speaker 12: Reggie Bush has his Heisman trophy returned to him. You know,
- 1:07:15Speaker 12: he lost his trophy from the gifts and money he
- 1:07:17Speaker 12: received from agents. But due to nil rules, the Heisman
- 1:07:21Speaker 12: Committee has returned it to him he wanted in two
- 1:07:23Speaker 12: thousand and five. They took it from him in twenty ten,
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: and so now Reggie got his Hidsmand Trophy back.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: They reunited, man, and.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: That's really good man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good.
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: That's what old Jack said.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: Trying to do well get his Highland trophy back. Yeah,
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: that was he was that he went out there in
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: Vada for.

- 1:07:55Speaker 15: it okay, come on, I'm very comfortable with my last agent.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Yeah. It was all over the news while he was
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: in the toy was saying the fact that he's not
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: here anymorehead, nothing nothing to do with you. I'm just
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: talking about if we're talking about getting him. Yeah, that's
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: how they knew. That's how they knew o J was
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: guilty in the first place, because when they was in
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: there doing the clean up in front of their house,
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: they found the heisman in the bushes. He had dropped it.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Do you have any more sports?
- 1:08:33Speaker 15: Yeah, I.
- 1:08:35Speaker 12: Was just trying to understand it's just fair to give
- 1:08:38Speaker 12: him this trophy back because of the n L rules.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely, man, the brother deserved his true he
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: earned that. It ain't had nothing to do with no
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: money or nothing like that. And they're paying these kids. Now,
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: that's just like they need to let all these people
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: out of prison for selling weed. Same thing legal legal,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: it's legal if you were in there for selling weed.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: They need to let all these people out. But they
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: need to Why would they keep them in there for what?
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: That's not justice anymore? Legal?
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: Yeah, man, they was just ahead of their time. It
- 1:09:17Speaker 9: was forward thinking people. Well, let me just say this.
- 1:09:22Speaker 11: The Texas revealed their new uniforms. What y'all think about
- 1:09:25Speaker 11: the new uniform I love them.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I like them a lot, Yes, Age Town, I love it.
- 1:09:31Speaker 14: A touch of that baby blue from the all of
- 1:09:34Speaker 14: just a touch of that baby blue that no matter.
- 1:09:36Speaker 14: Junior scared to say you don't like them, I.
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: Ain't scared to say.
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: I'm what I'm saying.
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: I don't like I don't like them.
- 1:09:42Speaker 12: I don't like them because it looked like we're playing
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: little league football. That would have looked like a pee
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: wee team, that would look like that.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Don't Yes, it's good, Jr.
- 1:09:52Speaker 11: We got a little uh h.
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: On the side of our helmet.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: Put the bull back up there. Let's be intimidating with

- 1:11:31Speaker 13: Which which one of us would you ask to borrow
- 1:11:34Speaker 13: fifty thousand dollars from Tommy?
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: Why?
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: Why is that?
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: Because he got it?
- 1:11:43Speaker 15: You mean?
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: Why because he got it?
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Which one would you take it to the casino with you?
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: Junior?
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: Man? Please come on that.
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: But then I gotta watch him though.

- 1:12:01Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you whatever. Junior saw me winning, Junior
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: to your back this story. Yes, so he was in
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: a hot high slot run. Junior saw me wanting when
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: I had won, about how much by this?
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: How much about it?
- 1:12:13Speaker 11: I'd say about forty At that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Time, I wanted about forty dollars.
- 1:12:17Speaker 11: No forty grand.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: There ain't no wins. You just over there, put your
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: money in the machine, a win as far as wow,
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: I'm up about forty grand, Junior said, Man, I'm gonna
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: play what he played? I said, Junior, hold up at
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: I said, no, that machines right there? He said, Jerry,
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: you gotta put one hundred dollars billing there for one spin.
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: Don't do that.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: But look how much you do want this mission. It
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: ain't no guarantee. Now, how much did you put in
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: that machine during probably four times?
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: What about one thousand in the slot.
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Win before you got married?
- 1:13:00Speaker 11: Man?
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: Did?
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: Did?
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: Didn't?
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: He's sitting over the depressed. I said, but Julia, I
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: told you don't put your money. But you had won
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: all this money I wanted already. Just keep passing out
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: part why you go to another machine? But you won
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: on this one, so you think this one is just
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: giving away money?
- 1:13:27Speaker 15: Man?
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: Now the rest of the day, he depressed.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's a lot of money.
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: Next one, shoot, all right, which one of which one
- 1:13:36Speaker 13: of us? Would you not want to be on a
- 1:13:39Speaker 13: deserted island with Monica?
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Why damn complaining and know everything? I ain't never seen
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: nobody know everything.
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: You can't come.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: You can't get a sentence out with Hucks trying to
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: complete it quight and then and then gossip and me

- 1:14:06Speaker 4: She ain't trying to.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Cook, trying to get off the island over.
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: That, just complain, he said, which house?
- 1:14:13Speaker 13: Which one of us would you tell your deepest, darkest
- 1:14:17Speaker 13: secret to call.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Your deepest start and why.
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: Is that she who.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: I keep a secret? Calling Thomas okay junior because he
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: had a crisis.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Don't scream up wow, last one? See last one? And
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I don't like this one? Which one would you not
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: call for cooking tips or recipe?
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: And you.
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: Think that is not right?
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Walter coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll

- 1:15:08Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: Morning Show.
- 1:15:13Speaker 13: According to a new study, more attractive women inspire men
- 1:15:17Speaker 13: to tell the truth. In the study, men's behavior was
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: linked to the quote beauty premium, a proven phenomenon that
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: beautiful people are often assumed to have good character, traits
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: and a good life that is backed by research.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: According to the Post.
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: Now is this true?
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Do you only lie to less attractive women or to
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: all women equally?
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: I'm gonna just tell you flat out, I have lied
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: to mo fine women. So this study is all wrong,
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: matter of fact, chance of getting lied.
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: It's the reverse. It's the actual reverse of no.
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: Mess like that.
- 1:16:00Speaker 13: Lied them the ones you've got to lie to hell
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: and you light of them more because what you want
- 1:16:10Speaker 13: to keep them?
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: Yeah? Everything you told us right now?
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: What I'm an equal opportunity lie if you.
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: A woman, you finished give one?
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: Okay?
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Have you ever told the truth to a woman?
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: Hell yeah.
- 1:16:31Speaker 14: I didn't lie to all three of y'all. Oh we know,
- 1:16:34Speaker 14: and I ain't had nothing to do with I lie
- 1:16:37Speaker 14: all three of y'all.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: We know this.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: What did you lie about?
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: What?
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: What did you told?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: What's the last lie you told?
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: Let's go back through this morning. It was something this morning.
- 1:16:49Speaker 13: We'll have more of the Steve Harby Morning Show coming
- 1:16:51Speaker 13: up in thirty three minutes after we'll play around it.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Would you rather right after this you're listening Harby Morning Show?
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Time around it? Would you rather? Would you rather co
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: host a show with Charles Barkley or Shannon Sharp?
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: That man that don't they're not gonna do it.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: We got y'all had to go with Charles because Shannon.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: I don't want to be over there when he started
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: that gossip stuff. I don't want to be over there.
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: You're gonna Charles talk about your ad right you?
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: Chyle that you have it?
- 1:17:28Speaker 17: Man?
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: What cha talk about it?
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: I don't tell you right now.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: I'll tell you now.
- 1:17:35Speaker 11: You said one more time, say this by me one
- 1:17:37Speaker 11: more time?
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: Your ass is going through that window, and I mean.
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: It all right.
- 1:17:47Speaker 13: Would you rather have your lips glued shut during sex?
- 1:17:51Speaker 13: Or would you rather have your eyes glued shut?
- 1:17:54Speaker 14: Let the person with the biggest lips speak first, Well,
- 1:17:59Speaker 14: you know the last.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: That's a lot of you don't have enough glue. Shut
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: my lips. Wow, No, I don't mess around. Told my
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: skin off because I'm gonna talk, so you might as
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: well shut mine. I ain't got to see nothing. But
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: then I do like to see because I like a
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: little light in the room. I don't like pitch black.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Like wait, so you like you like a little light
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: in the room when you're getting busy.
- 1:18:25Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: If you ain't fine while we're in here, this right here,
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: if you ain't cute, cut all the damn light off?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: What you made? What mistake before?
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: Oh I've been with the wrong person.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: You believe that? And you had all the lights off?
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: I'm talking about man, I'm talking about man. I just
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: came out of a club that made this dastress everybody. Everybody,
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: don't all right, sunlight across your free walking on the
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: sunlight on somebody. I went, good lord man in the morning. Yeah,
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: she went from them club them blue lights at the
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: club to that sunlight in the day. Two damn different people,
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: two damn different people.
- 1:19:26Speaker 13: Rather live in a tiny house with five monkeys? Or
- 1:19:29Speaker 13: would you rather live in a mansion with your ex.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Bys?
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: You get that.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna live in that mansion with my egg. I'd
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: have done that before. Yeah, I've done that before.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: You do, so you know how that story ends.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: The days I've been days not talking to her.
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: I'm not gonna do the damn monkeys in that tiny
- 1:19:56Speaker 9: house right now?
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: How much do you hate time? All right? That's today's rounded,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: coming up next to our.
- 1:20:08Speaker 9: Last two monkeys just sitting there looking.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: We'll close up the show right after this, but the
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: one only Steve Harvey.
- 1:20:16Speaker 7: Do know show?
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:21Speaker 13: All right, guys, here we are on this Friday, last
- 1:20:25Speaker 13: break of the day. It's been a good day, good week.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Thank you Lord. We got through it so far.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: Amen, Yes, Matte I got some closing remarks for people.
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: This is something that I've had to really really learn
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: myself along the way. It's hard to be something for
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: someone else that you're not for yourself. That's been very difficult,
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: and oftentimes we burden ourselves with the task of making
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: someone else happy when we ourselves are not happy. Have
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: you ever attempted to make a person happy? Do you
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: know how daunting of a task that is? Do you
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: know the impossibility of that? Bishop Jakes told me one time.
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: He said, you can't make another person happy, Nor is
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: it your job. That's not your job. You can't make
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: another person happy. I don't care how hard you try.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: And if you take on that task, you are dooming
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: yourself to a fail task. It's no way to complete
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: that because it's gonna be ongoing. If you provide a
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: happy moment, which will be fleeting because I just said moment.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: If you provide a happy moment the moment they're over that,
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: you're gonna need another moment, and another, and another one,
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: and another one and another one. And in your quest
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: to provide this happiness for somebody else, you know what,
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: you know who You're gonna have to sacrifice yourself.
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: Because I don't know if you.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: Realize it and out that most of us have at
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: this age, most of these people realizing this because you've
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: lived long enough to know this. Getting yourself together is
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: a twenty four to seven operation. So it becomes extra
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: daunting when you take on the responsibility of somebody else.
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: Now because you are a parent, you now understand the
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: difficulty of it because not only are you still responsible
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: for your own welfare being, but you are now being
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: given the task of raising another human being. So my
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: hat goes off to parents, man, My hat goes off
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: to families and parents that's raising kids. My hat goes
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: out to single fathers that's out there trying to raise kids.
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: My head really go off to single mothers that's out
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: there trying to raise their kids, because I realize how
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: dawning it is, because it's hard enough taking care of you,
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: and now you got the responsibility and what a lot
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: of single mothers end up doing, and what a lot
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: of mothers do even with husbands in the house, You
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: sacrifice so much of yourself to make sure that they
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: don't go without. Because women are just better at this
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: than men. I know this for a fact, and I'm sorry.
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: I'm not saying men can't do it, and I'm not
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: saying that doubt aren't men out there that's taking the
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: responsibility of being everything for their family, because it is,
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: it's just women better at it. Or see why you
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: say that, Because they're more nurturing, they're more all inclusive
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: by nature, they are more caring people. And then the
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: added benefit of them being the one that actually manufactured
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: and produced that life.
- 1:23:58Speaker 9: They have a bond that we could never have have.
- 1:24:00Speaker 9: Man a mother, a real mother. I'm talking about a good.
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: Mother, irreplaceable, irreplaceable. But in that effort, women of you
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: being all you could be for your child, don't forget
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: yourself sometimes, don't forget you because a lot of times
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: you get lost in the sauce. You get lost in
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: the process of trying to hold your family together, being
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: everything you need to be for your husband, being everything
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: you need to be for the children, And I watch
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: women get lost in that. Take some time out for yourself.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: Go take you a girl's day, get with a group
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: of women men and y'all got similar likes and needs
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: and desires, and go do something together. And then men
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: the same for you, Because I know how daunting of
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: a task it is to be a man. Being a
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: man is a thankless job. And you know what, being
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: a man can't even get it really one hundred because
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: if you spending your time supporting and providing for your family,
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: then you're not there. You're gonna miss events, you're gonna
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: miss recitals, you're gonna miss games because you out getting it.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: But then if you're there all the time, you had
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: all the recitals, all the games, all the homework, all
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: the PTA meetings, there's a chance that you ain't out
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: there getting it. So now your family is suffering in
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: the provision department because you're trying to be all of
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: the other stuff that they need. Well, guess what, that's
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: tough too. I know very few men who get it
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: all one hundred, including myself. I've actually heard the grumblings
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: of my kid. You know, Dad wasn't now when we
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: were young, Dad weren't here. They've complained to other people.
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: I didn't see my father much when I was young.
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: I've been tasked with that. I suffer from that guilt
- 1:26:02Speaker 4: all the time from that. But I was out there
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: trying to make it happen. But whenever they needed something
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: or wanted something, they knew where they could come to
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: get it. So it's tough out here. It's tough for everybody,
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: men and women. At the end of the day, take
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: some time out for yourself, because if you don't take
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: care of yourself. It's gonna be hard for you to
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: be something for everybody else. Take some time out. It's okay,
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: it's okay. You don't have to feel guilty about it.
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: You ain't gotta feel like you know, bear no guilt,
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: no shame. Just take some time for yourself. Because I
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: don't know if you noticed it or not, but they do,
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: all of them do, especially them kids. They go off
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: with their friends, act like you don't even exist. Well,
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: I'm going somewhere to y'all. Have a nice day, y'all
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: have a better week end, and talk to God. He'd
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: absolutely love to hear.
