Ministry of Health Strengthens Suicide Prevention Efforts with Community Town Hall.
Residents of Gros Islet gathered at the Gros Islet Human Resource Centre on Wednesday, September 30, for a town hall meeting on suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Held under the theme “Suicide Prevention is Everyone’s Responsibility,” the forum encouraged open discussion, helping residents recognize signs of emotional distress, learn where to seek support, and understand the importance of a whole-of-society approach to suicide prevention.
