- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn hur you gotta turn to turnout, turn by,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn turn the water the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your bab I show well a good morning everybody,
- 2:04Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: have something and it so describes how I was living.
- 2:16Speaker 1: It's so captures the feelings that I had about beginning
- 2:23Speaker 1: on the pathway of my dreams. It so describes how
- 2:27Speaker 1: I felt when I was about to attempt something. And
- 2:32Speaker 1: I have some striking news for you. It describes often
- 2:36Speaker 1: how I feel still today to a degree. So let
- 2:41Speaker 1: me tell you what that is. Here's an analogy that
- 2:44Speaker 1: I've heard a couple of different ways, but I've kind of,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, fixed it around to where I can drink
- 2:51Speaker 1: it better, and I think it fits my personality to
- 2:55Speaker 1: describe it to people best this way. I've talked often
- 2:59Speaker 1: about the urge and see of doing something with your life,
- 3:04Speaker 1: of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting
- 3:08Speaker 1: it off, and waiting on all your ducks to line
- 3:11Speaker 1: up in a row, and waiting till the stars aligned themselves.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If you ain't on such a thing, you're never gonna
- 3:18Speaker 1: get started. I don't know too many people who can
- 3:21Speaker 1: say that all the ducks just lined up in a row.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Things happen. Even when you get them lined up. One
- 3:27Speaker 1: of the ducks get out of line, or somebody knock
- 3:29Speaker 1: over the domino, or something happens. But here's the point
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm getting at. God has so many blessings available to you.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You who's listening. God has so many blessings available to
- 3:48Speaker 1: you from where you are right now. I don't care
- 3:53Speaker 1: what you've gotten yourself into or what you've done. God
- 3:57Speaker 1: has so many blessings that he can send your way.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But you have to do something. See a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: people just sit around and go man, and something always
- 4:10Speaker 1: happening to you. You're always getting a break, You're always
- 4:13Speaker 1: doing this. You always, man, don't nothing come my way?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Listen to me. If nothing ever comes your way. You
- 4:19Speaker 1: know why that is? It's because you're not doing anything.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I promise you you're not. Here's a deal. God has
- 4:26Speaker 1: all these blessings he wants to send you, but you
- 4:29Speaker 1: got to give him something to work with. Now, come on,
- 4:34Speaker 1: God will bless you. God can touch people's hearts on
- 4:37Speaker 1: your behalf. He can move situations around for you. He
- 4:41Speaker 1: can align the stars. He can set the ducks up
- 4:43Speaker 1: in the road. But align the stars and move people around,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and touch people's hearts and set the ducks up in
- 4:49Speaker 1: the road. For what have you put forth? Any effort?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Have you made a single step in any direction to
- 4:57Speaker 1: do the right thing or go the right way? That
- 4:59Speaker 1: gives him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:09Speaker 1: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Let him work with that. You know, man, I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: always start with these speeches you're hear in the morning now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 1: to these. Hell, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 1: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:35Speaker 1: failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:42Speaker 1: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 1: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:48Speaker 1: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:50Speaker 1: any effort, you can get blessed from whoever you are
- 5:54Speaker 1: in your life. Wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:57Speaker 1: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from. Now.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 1: done it. I got over. Man. I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 1: along the way. Because here's a deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 1: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 1: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:17Speaker 1: up in the morning, He's still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 1: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. Here's a deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 1: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fear of the unknown is incredible. Well, what if
- 6:40Speaker 1: I fail, what if I don't get picked? You know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 1: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 1: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:51Speaker 1: going to be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:54Speaker 1: amateur night one time, quitting your job, following your dream,
- 7:01Speaker 1: going forward despite all the nay says, it's like stepping
- 7:05Speaker 1: off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the
- 7:09Speaker 1: edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:28Speaker 1: and allow me to drift down. See. I've never skydived before,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but I would imagine part of the thrill. And I
- 7:35Speaker 1: don't know this because I'm not going to skydive to
- 7:38Speaker 1: find out. I think part of the thrill for people
- 7:42Speaker 1: is the danger part of throwing yourself out a plane
- 7:46Speaker 1: and how it feels to be free falling, but the
- 7:49Speaker 1: whole time they're free falling, having this exhilarating over the
- 7:53Speaker 1: top moment. You have got to believe in your heart
- 7:58Speaker 1: of hearts, you have got the hope with everything in
- 8:01Speaker 1: you that when you pull this cord, the shoot opens
- 8:04Speaker 1: or else This ain't a good move at all. But
- 8:07Speaker 1: you've packed your shoot yourself. You've taken the lessons, so
- 8:11Speaker 1: you go ahead and you make the leap. Now, the
- 8:13Speaker 1: only thing about quitting your job and following your dream
- 8:16Speaker 1: is you ain't really been trained all that good for this.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You didn't packed your shoot, but you ain't never opened
- 8:22Speaker 1: it before. So I walked off this cliff, That's what
- 8:25Speaker 1: it was like. And you following your dream is like
- 8:27Speaker 1: you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where people
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't never make the jump. They see somebody like myself
- 8:35Speaker 1: who jumped off the cliff and the pass SHOOTE don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: open right away, and I hit a couple of rocks
- 8:40Speaker 1: on the way down. I got my back cut up
- 8:43Speaker 1: pretty bad. They see that three years living in a
- 8:47Speaker 1: car man, he got his life toe down jumping off
- 8:49Speaker 1: that cliff. I ain't jumping off that cliff. But see,
- 8:52Speaker 1: what you don't understand is you don't know it. But
- 8:56Speaker 1: eventually the shoot will open and I'm the parachute opening
- 9:01Speaker 1: part of my life man, where a shoot then open
- 9:04Speaker 1: and I'm drifting and I'm able to guide my SHOOTE
- 9:08Speaker 1: over to Paris and glide. I've I've glided over to
- 9:11Speaker 1: Africa and seen what it looked like. It's a slow
- 9:13Speaker 1: ride down. When the passchute finally opened and my back
- 9:17Speaker 1: didn't heeled too and the cuts that I had on me,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I remember now I know how to stay away from
- 9:23Speaker 1: the edge. But the parish chute then opened, and I'm
- 9:26Speaker 1: enjoying my life for the first time. I'm gliding, but
- 9:29Speaker 1: I got hit up against the rock. I can see more.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I get a chance to see more things. I get
- 9:35Speaker 1: to glide and see more parts of the world. I'm
- 9:38Speaker 1: living my dream. Your passhute is gone open, but I'll
- 9:41Speaker 1: tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 1: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:46Speaker 1: off that cliff, got to get the passhute open for you.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But you got the jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 1: ain't it. Now? Question is the end of this story
- 9:54Speaker 1: right here today when you jumping you're listening show, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, this is it. The Steve Harvey Morny Show
- 10:04Speaker 1: has begun, inviting you to join in and have yourself
- 10:08Speaker 1: a good time today. Now let me remind you get
- 10:12Speaker 1: them tunes together and you have a better day. I've
- 10:15Speaker 1: already done it. I thank the Lord this morning. I
- 10:17Speaker 1: told you I started with gratitude. I told him how
- 10:20Speaker 1: much I appreciate it. I said thank you yesterday, even
- 10:24Speaker 1: though I was facing a major problem. I thank them
- 10:28Speaker 1: when I was in the middle of it, in the
- 10:30Speaker 1: middle of a problem. The problem still exists, but it's
- 10:33Speaker 1: all right though. This TuS your pass. So if you
- 10:36Speaker 1: start your day with gratitude, it immediately affects your attitude.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And once it affects your altitude, is in direct correlation
- 10:43Speaker 1: with your altitude. If you get them three tunes together,
- 10:47Speaker 1: skies a limit, everybody, welcome to the ride. This to
- 10:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry calling for real mouth
- 10:53Speaker 1: of the South, Junior and the legend that is Nephew
- 10:56Speaker 1: Tommy Junior. Huard today this man, because it's kind of
- 11:02Speaker 1: shocking to me that you have a problem with just regular,
- 11:05Speaker 1: every day, every day thing like self checkout bother you?
- 11:08Speaker 1: You don't have you gotta Why does that bother you? Well,
- 11:12Speaker 1: because it's just shocking that we do these things all
- 11:14Speaker 1: the time and you didn't even know they existed. Well,
- 11:19Speaker 1: but not Junior, why is that shocking to you? Why
- 11:22Speaker 1: is that bothering you? Though? That's the part I'm stuck
- 11:24Speaker 1: at because I just can't. I would you like to
- 11:27Speaker 1: do regular stuff? Would you want to do regular stuff? Well?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Ask you a question. Is you tired of doing reckless stuff? Yes?
- 11:34Speaker 1: I got your world? Yes, I gotta do it to survive.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I can't. I can't not go to the stuff I've
- 11:41Speaker 1: already survived. We move on, please, man, man, look killed
- 11:48Speaker 1: this what you man? I stopped a long time ago
- 11:51Speaker 1: pologizing for my life. Person don't like my life? Man,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm not gonna keep pol jobson for my blessing. Now.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I ain't rubbing it in nobody's face. But when I
- 12:04Speaker 1: asked you a simple question, all I'm asking for ds,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I answer why I gotta get kicked drug? All behind
- 12:09Speaker 1: the truck because I wanted to know. Yesterday I was
- 12:12Speaker 1: at family few, working and somebody's gave an answer self checkout.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And I asked you what he means by that? And
- 12:19Speaker 1: he said, you can check out yourself? And I said well,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and he said everywhere I will. What you mean check
- 12:28Speaker 1: out yourself? Yeah? So then he explained to me that
- 12:32Speaker 1: they got to check out line where you can take
- 12:34Speaker 1: your food up there boop, scared at yourself, pay for
- 12:39Speaker 1: it and put it in the bag yourself, and then lead. Yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 1: my very questions, well my very next question from you
- 12:48Speaker 1: ain't stole nothing, not that simple, not as it happens.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But why is that your first question? Time I had
- 13:00Speaker 1: to do that. I cannot imagine not putting this stuff
- 13:03Speaker 1: in my bad and going to my cup Cleveland in
- 13:07Speaker 1: the building. So now they're watching the whole audience a
- 13:12Speaker 1: family few turned on meet for not knowing it was
- 13:16Speaker 1: a self checkout? Did a lady cup time they got
- 13:19Speaker 1: of that Walmart and targeing yes, everywhere else, all grocery
- 13:24Speaker 1: stores everywhere, sea yea, yeah, I got you. I just
- 13:30Speaker 1: don't know it's no regular stuff. But I've been blessed,
- 13:33Speaker 1: so I'm not apologizing for my life no more. That's
- 13:36Speaker 1: all right, after the hour, it's happier back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. All right, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: to run that prank back with the nephew. What you
- 13:50Speaker 1: got for us? Now, this right here is my mama's tree.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Everybody got that favorite tree at mama house. I had
- 13:58Speaker 1: a favorite tree at mama house. This right here is
- 14:01Speaker 1: my mama's tree. Cant dog if you would Hello, Hello, man,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I speak to lord. Yeah, this lord, this terror who

- 14:25Speaker 1: now she got limbs hanging all in the street. We
- 14:27Speaker 1: got to cut this whole tree down because you didn't
- 14:29Speaker 1: messed it up. And you're the one that just drove
- 14:31Speaker 1: through here. He sir, I ain't been down Clayton Street today, Sir,
- 14:34Speaker 1: say what. I ain't been down Clayton Street today. I
- 14:37Speaker 1: ain't even been in a residential neighborhood today. You just

- 15:31Speaker 1: A team wheel trucks down this residential area like this here, Man,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I was making delivery. Guy. Now, if I had to
- 15:37Speaker 1: come down that tree, I would have. But I told
- 15:39Speaker 1: you once I ain't came down on Clayton Street to day.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You just said you had to make a delivery. Now
- 15:44Speaker 1: you're saying you ain't been down Clayton Street. Hadn't delivered
- 15:48Speaker 1: down there, I would have came down that street. You
- 15:50Speaker 1: can't have to come down there. You've been on Clayton

- 15:58Speaker 1: no no no. I got to write and what I
- 16:00Speaker 1: do know? Ill you didn't tell my mama tree up.
- 16:03Speaker 1: We got to cut this old tree out. And you
- 16:05Speaker 1: know what you're gonna pay for this. Then I ain't
- 16:07Speaker 1: staying for a muddle tree, that tree and kidding. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: know you ain't talking about my mama tree. Well, guess what,
- 16:14Speaker 1: take your tree and take your mama and both of
- 16:17Speaker 1: y'all go out there and planning another tree. Then we
- 16:20Speaker 1: ain't playing no more tree. That tree been in our
- 16:22Speaker 1: family for you. You're gonna mess around and get your
- 16:25Speaker 1: swept behind this tree. Bring it on, then bring your
- 16:28Speaker 1: gone and bring the tree with you. You're gonna make
- 16:30Speaker 1: me whoop with a bridge off that tree. Well, I
- 16:34Speaker 1: tell you what. If you're that bad, then I tell
- 16:36Speaker 1: you what. If I was on playing the street today,
- 16:39Speaker 1: I meet don't play the street with the tree. You
- 16:42Speaker 1: come on over here to Clayton right now, because I'm
- 16:44Speaker 1: right out here in the street on the card of
- 16:46Speaker 1: this phone. You come on outside. My mama's sitting up
- 16:49Speaker 1: in there crying behind this tree because you didn't tow
- 16:51Speaker 1: the limbs off, and we got to cut it down
- 16:53Speaker 1: now because you didn't mess it up. Don't get us
- 16:55Speaker 1: napkin this yellow wife minds. Then, I ain't been down
- 16:59Speaker 1: the tree. I know you ain't sitting here talking about
- 17:02Speaker 1: my mama. Nah see you tripping not dog and tripping dog.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You are ready. Look, man, I grew up with this
- 17:09Speaker 1: tree in my front yard. I grew up with this tree.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Now you got the nerve to drive to hell and
- 17:13Speaker 1: driving too fast because if you're the droll slow you
- 17:16Speaker 1: wouldn't have been hitting all them lives like that. Y'all
- 17:18Speaker 1: be running down here too fast to hill man. Look, yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I've told you once man, I ain't been down on

- 17:27Speaker 1: to meet me on Clayton Streek, we'll all right. Now.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry about your mom trip. What hell. There ain't
- 17:32Speaker 1: nothing I can do about it because I ain't been
- 17:34Speaker 1: down on Clayton Street. It's one thing you can do
- 17:36Speaker 1: about it. You can pay for it, and that's what
- 17:38Speaker 1: you're gonna do. Now. You're gonna either give me some money.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it at you, but you're you're gonna
- 17:43Speaker 1: you're coming over here. Matter of fact, you're gonna come
- 17:46Speaker 1: over him. Now that big truck around and bring your
- 17:49Speaker 1: butt on over here right now. Well, I mighty well,
- 17:52Speaker 1: don't turn it around, because I ain't paying for no
- 17:54Speaker 1: tree right now. That's fine, that's fine, But I tell you,
- 17:58Speaker 1: when you get here, my cousin hell and all my
- 18:01Speaker 1: uncles is here sitting up there looking at out what

- 18:16Speaker 1: come on right now because you don't know what this

- 18:24Speaker 1: you crying? You big? You crying too, man, look at
- 18:27Speaker 1: a dog. Wipe your eyes and to hell with you
- 18:30Speaker 1: this tree right here, I'm turning my You just meeting
- 18:33Speaker 1: me on Clayton Street. All right, let me tell you something.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This tree used to be first base for kickball. Do
- 18:38Speaker 1: you hit me? Bosh? Dude, I don't told you once,
- 18:42Speaker 1: I ain't Tree, all right, don't hell around it, dude,
- 18:46Speaker 1: your name Lord, but you ain't he Hell is cool Jay,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and he would not he wouldn't not hell come down
- 18:55Speaker 1: here and told my mama Tree here is not that
- 18:57Speaker 1: kind of person. But you you lord O? You crying
- 19:00Speaker 1: for it? Man? What crying for? Because you didn't mess that?
- 19:04Speaker 1: My mama treat you saw like a girl. I'm crying
- 19:07Speaker 1: because my mama treat wrote. Let me tell you something,

- 20:04Speaker 1: And look, man, what did you guys say? This is
- 20:09Speaker 1: Nephew tell me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 20:12Speaker 1: just got pranked by your boy. You got to be
- 20:17Speaker 1: kidding me. Man, ain't no, ain't no tree messed up
- 20:24Speaker 1: and you ain't been on Clayton Street. Joe, Joe, oh Man,
- 20:33Speaker 1: your dog? Hey man, what is the baddest radio show
- 20:39Speaker 1: in the land? Steve Harvey Morning Show? Mane coming up next,
- 20:47Speaker 1: It is asked the CLO with the Chief Love Officer,

- 20:52Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 20:56Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour and
- 20:59Speaker 1: entertain aim at News. We're gonna tell you how to
- 21:01Speaker 1: register to win fifteen hundred dollars. That's right, I said
- 21:05Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars. Kevin Hart plans to open Harthouse Restaurants
- 21:09Speaker 1: and sell plant based fast food and Janet Jackson Our
- 21:14Speaker 1: icon is on the June July cover of Essence Magazine.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We'll get into all of that at the top, but
- 21:20Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the clo all right,
- 21:24Speaker 1: This one's from Tab and Munroe. Tab writes, my sister
- 21:28Speaker 1: has been married for four years and her husband has
- 21:31Speaker 1: a side chick that everyone knows about except for my sister.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I was cheated on for four years by my husband
- 21:38Speaker 1: and I finally left. I wouldn't wish divorce on anyone,
- 21:42Speaker 1: so I refuse to tell her what he's doing. Am
- 21:45Speaker 1: I wrong for not telling my sister what's going on? Well,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'm the wrong person to ask of that. I think
- 21:51Speaker 1: you should ask Shirley and Carla. Shirley and Carla your women.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You've been married, You've had let's say, someone you've been
- 22:01Speaker 1: married to cheated on you. Your sisters involved in relationship
- 22:05Speaker 1: with the man, and everybody know the man it is cheating.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Would you tell your sister, well, you know what that happened,
- 22:11Speaker 1: cheating in my first marriage. Um, oh, this is hard.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You love your sister. I think in this case, yes,
- 22:20Speaker 1: I would tell my sister. I would tell her or
- 22:23Speaker 1: take her where she could see it and get the
- 22:25Speaker 1: situation for her. Yes, I am telling my sister that
- 22:29Speaker 1: her husband is cheating her her my sister as my sister. Yeah, okay,
- 22:36Speaker 1: then that's where we have to go. Where we had
- 22:38Speaker 1: to go with the ladies. I would normally say, stay
- 22:41Speaker 1: out of this. It's ain't your pizziness, your sister, it
- 22:45Speaker 1: ain't nothing. Because if you dog and my brother, I'm
- 22:48Speaker 1: gonna go tell my brother because we just have a
- 22:51Speaker 1: different relationship where we were not fin to stop being
- 22:53Speaker 1: brothers because I told him something. I can promise you that,
- 22:57Speaker 1: And she's right. Divorces hard. She is right about that,
- 23:00Speaker 1: all right, Selena and Biloxi says, I'm dating a man
- 23:04Speaker 1: that is very controlling, but um in a good way.
- 23:08Speaker 1: He's mostly jealous and anytime a man comments on a
- 23:11Speaker 1: picture I post, he asked who is it and who
- 23:15Speaker 1: it is? And he'll even research the guy on I
- 23:18Speaker 1: G I think that is jealousy is cute, But could
- 23:21Speaker 1: it mean he's crazy? Well it's cute. It's cute now,
- 23:27Speaker 1: Well it's cute. Now where you think it's going? You
- 23:31Speaker 1: know this all this is his trouble you You're heading
- 23:36Speaker 1: down the path right here. So so let's say y'all
- 23:38Speaker 1: getting married. Suppose he takes this control and stuff to
- 23:42Speaker 1: the level of you, my wife. Now, you don't do this.
- 23:45Speaker 1: You don't do that. Get off social media. You can't
- 23:48Speaker 1: posting on all this here. It's cute in a good way.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Well okay, okay, not controlling. Controlling is not cute in
- 23:58Speaker 1: any way. You see those red flags. M lady told
- 24:04Speaker 1: me on my show, ladies stopped collecting red flags. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 1: leave them in the ground. Stop collecting red flags. Yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 1: I got truck full of red flags. Okay, yeah, we
- 24:18Speaker 1: as women ignore them all the time, we do, all right.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Sharon Phillipy writes, I've been married for eleven years and
- 24:26Speaker 1: my husband went into my purse to get a phone
- 24:29Speaker 1: charger and he saw that I had receipts with a
- 24:31Speaker 1: paper clip on them. I bought some things that I
- 24:34Speaker 1: didn't tell him about it, and he accused me of
- 24:36Speaker 1: being sneaky. I never try to hide the stuff I buy,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and I use my money. So why is he tripping
- 24:42Speaker 1: all the packages? You you know you buying stuff. You
- 24:48Speaker 1: don't need him nobout. Most women do it. You don't
- 24:53Speaker 1: have to hide it if they go bas stuff anyway,
- 24:57Speaker 1: it's all right. He has got to understand this is
- 25:03Speaker 1: a part of it. Now. Sir, let me give you
- 25:07Speaker 1: some advice. Stop going in her perse finding stuff because
- 25:13Speaker 1: you don't want her going in your stuff finding stuff
- 25:17Speaker 1: because wants a woman go here's what you don't want
- 25:20Speaker 1: a woman to say, Oh, we find this stuff now,
- 25:24Speaker 1: or that's what we're doing, or we find look and
- 25:28Speaker 1: so now, no, dog, just stay out of that accusing
- 25:35Speaker 1: her being sneaking. You have some receipts and you use
- 25:38Speaker 1: your money. Yeah, that's all right. And bro, Bro, you
- 25:42Speaker 1: can relax. This was happening, this will be happening the
- 25:45Speaker 1: rest of your marriage. Relax. Don't let this be the
- 25:50Speaker 1: thing to tip the boat over. Bro, I don't know
- 25:53Speaker 1: any woman who is not who does not sneak a
- 25:56Speaker 1: bag in the house on her husband every now and then.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I just don't know one, do you, because she don't
- 26:01Speaker 1: want to hear it? Right? Yes, yes I bought it.
- 26:06Speaker 1: What you buy? Now? How many asks? You got? Now?
- 26:10Speaker 1: You need shoes? Well, this is what I learned from Marjorie.
- 26:15Speaker 1: A woman would rather ask for forgiveness than for permission
- 26:21Speaker 1: accurately fast, I'm sorry I spent too much. Forgive me
- 26:28Speaker 1: all right, Yes, that's if Marjorie Harvey. But I'm grown
- 26:33Speaker 1: and I gotta go ask shoes my wife. They never
- 26:36Speaker 1: took nothing back, nothing, nothing, apologize. Everybody stayed. Were doing
- 26:43Speaker 1: that New York. I know lady in New York. It
- 26:46Speaker 1: works for US affiliate. All her stuff is in her
- 26:50Speaker 1: cuber Who Hi Tim huh snitches. You are glad he
- 27:01Speaker 1: don't say any names because we all know who it is. Oh,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I get you last one Steve Jacqueline and Las Vegas
- 27:16Speaker 1: says I'm in a bit of a pickle. My aunt
- 27:19Speaker 1: heard me saying that her children are moochers, and she
- 27:22Speaker 1: went off on me and my mother. It's one thing
- 27:24Speaker 1: to curse it me, but my mama didn't do anything.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Would I be wrong to curse my aunt out just once? No?
- 27:32Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't see nothing wrong with it. Yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 1: you know you can't say a damn thing and my
- 27:43Speaker 1: mama without getting with both barrels. I'd say, you know,
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't think you need to cuss your aunt out,
- 27:50Speaker 1: but I just think you need to go and check
- 27:52Speaker 1: and say, hey, look, this is what I said. My
- 27:54Speaker 1: mama didn't have nothing to do with it. Don't say
- 27:56Speaker 1: nothing not my mama. Now if it's her sister, the
- 28:01Speaker 1: mama's If it's your mama's sister, the mom's sister, then
- 28:05Speaker 1: you can't them. Sister has been probably doing this for years.
- 28:09Speaker 1: But if it's your daddy's sister, yeah, healthy, you can't
- 28:19Speaker 1: come over here with that sister. That's that's how you know.
- 28:27Speaker 1: The aunt girl, you can't be. You gotta be on
- 28:29Speaker 1: this side of the aunt family. You can't be the
- 28:31Speaker 1: man inside, right right. But then the aunt was mad
- 28:35Speaker 1: because she says something about her kids. Well, you know
- 28:39Speaker 1: right true. What she said about the kids was probably
- 28:44Speaker 1: true most of them. You just can't see it. So
- 28:52Speaker 1: you get these other ass kids women. All right, thank
- 28:58Speaker 1: you for a little trust, say ugly thank you. We
- 29:06Speaker 1: gotta move on. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:08Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you. Right after this.

- 29:52Speaker 1: All right, listen, goodlock, everybody, all right. Our friend Kevin
- 29:57Speaker 1: Hart will soon have a plant based fast food restaurant
- 30:01Speaker 1: open in the Los Angeles area. If you like plant
- 30:05Speaker 1: based food fast food, yeah, vegan vegans, flat based taste
- 30:14Speaker 1: like chicken, but it ain't now, it's plants. Kevin reportedly
- 30:20Speaker 1: has been working on this idea for quite some time,
- 30:23Speaker 1: like before the pandemic, and he'll finally bring his vision
- 30:27Speaker 1: to life with the opening of Hearthouse. Hearthouse, the entire
- 30:32Speaker 1: menu will consist of only plant based burgers, nuggets, fries, chicken, sandwiches, milkshakes, salads,
- 30:39Speaker 1: and more. All food offerings will be free of hormones,
- 30:43Speaker 1: artificial colors, preservatives, and high fruittoast corn syrup made within minutes.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Shooting down the notion that plant based meals are more
- 30:52Speaker 1: stenuous and costly to produce, Kevin posted on Instagram Hearthouse
- 30:58Speaker 1: is going to serve delicious, standable food that delivers, can't
- 31:02Speaker 1: believe it, flavor in every bite. So there you go.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Hearthouse coming soon to La. There's a restaurant in LA
- 31:10Speaker 1: called Crossroads and it's all plant based. It's absolutely amazing. Jane.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It is amazing when you get the chicken steak and
- 31:22Speaker 1: all of that. I'm you're sitting there going, wait a minute,
- 31:26Speaker 1: a fried chicken. Really? Oh it's it's it's amazing. So
- 31:30Speaker 1: this is cold for Kevin to have this fast food, huh,
- 31:34Speaker 1: plant basis. I think calling it a hearthouse is smart too,
- 31:38Speaker 1: because plants are definitely better for your heart. And it's
- 31:43Speaker 1: heart spelled like his last name, of course. And this
- 31:45Speaker 1: is going to be fast food. I love that, you know,
- 31:48Speaker 1: you want to get something healthy, you know, running out
- 31:50Speaker 1: for lunch or whatever, and that's great. All right. Uh

- 33:56Speaker 1: She's also it seems like she's encouraging you to quit
- 33:59Speaker 1: your job. Yeah, break my soul. Yeah, we ain't doing
- 34:05Speaker 1: all that be but now you can do that, not us, right, yeah,
- 34:11Speaker 1: but yeah, right, yeah, yeah, yeah. The song might be
- 34:16Speaker 1: breaking my soul. But if you quit your job right now,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, you're gonna end up breaking

- 34:53Speaker 1: World Health Organization has announced it will rename the monkey
- 34:57Speaker 1: Pox virus over concerns from scientists that the name is
- 35:00Speaker 1: discriminatory and stigmatizing. This comes after a scientist at Nigeria's
- 35:04Speaker 1: Redeemer University stated that he sees the name of the
- 35:08Speaker 1: virus as racist and stayed at the mainstream media. Instead
- 35:12Speaker 1: of showing pictures of people that are presented presenting with
- 35:15Speaker 1: the legions which are white people they're keeping. They keep
- 35:20Speaker 1: putting forward pictures of children in Africa and Africans and
- 35:24Speaker 1: there's no connection. Since mid May, there have been seventy
- 35:27Speaker 1: two confirmed and suspected monkeypox cases across seventeen states and
- 35:33Speaker 1: in DC. Wow. So he thinks the name monkey pox,
- 35:38Speaker 1: and I guess because it comes from Africa is racist
- 35:42Speaker 1: and it could be perceived that way. Yeah, yeah, all right,
- 35:48Speaker 1: let's see that. Yes, yep, as promised, coming up at

- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm being honest with you. You you how the siege
- 38:00Speaker 1: because in this game, I always say, only things separate
- 38:04Speaker 1: me or any comedian from being where they wanted to
- 38:07Speaker 1: be as an opportunity and cashing in on that opportunity.
- 38:12Speaker 1: And uh, I knew this was a huge opportunity, but
- 38:15Speaker 1: I never imagine what they to do now because I'm
- 38:18Speaker 1: going to the White Club and they bought the red seat.
- 38:21Speaker 1: As if my Moses, you take me everywhere then, you know,

- 41:59Speaker 1: just what I for myself? I went home. It was it.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I told my put your coat on, let's go, and
- 42:05Speaker 1: he didn't even have a coat. I put the coat on,

- 50:46Speaker 1: got to do that. Speaking of that, you got to
- 50:48Speaker 1: prank him again. Speaking of that, Oh my god, Now
- 50:51Speaker 1: that last one. You know a lot of people almost
- 50:52Speaker 1: got the ass up on their last It really really wasn't. Yeah,

- 53:43Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Subject my man moves mysteriously. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I'm a forty two year old woman and I've been
- 53:51Speaker 1: in a relationship with a forty five year old man
- 53:53Speaker 1: for three years. For the past two years, he's been
- 53:56Speaker 1: living with me because he needed some house repairs done
- 54:00Speaker 1: around Christmas time last year. I caught him at his
- 54:03Speaker 1: own house one Saturday when he was supposed to be
- 54:06Speaker 1: visiting his parents in South Carolina. I pulled up in
- 54:10Speaker 1: his driveway and he met me at the door, and
- 54:13Speaker 1: he told me that it was a dusty mess inside,
- 54:16Speaker 1: like a construction site, and I didn't need to come in.
- 54:19Speaker 1: He also didn't hug or kiss me, and said he
- 54:23Speaker 1: was too dirty from working all day. I never questioned
- 54:26Speaker 1: him about not telling me he was still in town
- 54:29Speaker 1: because I never want to be a nagger like his
- 54:31Speaker 1: ex wife. He did not come home that night. The
- 54:34Speaker 1: next morning, he came home and he had shaved and
- 54:37Speaker 1: he had on dress pants. He said he went to
- 54:40Speaker 1: church because his co worker got baptized. This man threw
- 54:43Speaker 1: me into a lot, into a lot within twenty four hours,
- 54:47Speaker 1: and I still didn't nag or ask him any questions.
- 54:50Speaker 1: For the next few months, he would leave the house
- 54:53Speaker 1: and wouldn't say where he was going. I would ride
- 54:56Speaker 1: by his house, but the garage was always down, so
- 55:00Speaker 1: if he was in there, I couldn't tell. Last month,
- 55:03Speaker 1: he said he was finished with his house and he
- 55:05Speaker 1: was selling it. He said he felt like he was
- 55:07Speaker 1: wearing out his welcome with me, and he might go
- 55:10Speaker 1: stay with his parents until he finds a new house.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I told him I wanted to see how he renovated
- 55:16Speaker 1: his house, and he said that there's a tenant running
- 55:19Speaker 1: it now. I had. I had a look of confusion,
- 55:22Speaker 1: and he went off on me for not believing him.
- 55:25Speaker 1: So much is going on with him, and I don't
- 55:27Speaker 1: know if I should believe him. He still says he
- 55:30Speaker 1: loves me and we still have sex, So why is
- 55:33Speaker 1: he keeping me in the dark? What's he up to? Well,
- 55:38Speaker 1: there's nothing too mysterious about him, There really isn't. It's
- 55:42Speaker 1: just a lot of lies. He's up to something something,
- 55:46Speaker 1: for sure, and everything that comes out of his mouth
- 55:48Speaker 1: is a lie. I mean, I'll admit that house repairs
- 55:51Speaker 1: can take a very long time, but he's been living
- 55:54Speaker 1: with you for the last two years, so please don't
- 55:58Speaker 1: believe anything he says. He could have had a whole
- 56:00Speaker 1: house built in two years or less. Okay, anyway, all
- 56:04Speaker 1: the clues are there. First, not telling you he was
- 56:07Speaker 1: still in town when he was, then preventing you from
- 56:10Speaker 1: going in the house when you were in the driveway,
- 56:12Speaker 1: not hugging, not kissing you when he saw you, because
- 56:15Speaker 1: I'm sure that's what he normally does. Who do you
- 56:18Speaker 1: think is in that house that he's supposedly selling right now?
- 56:23Speaker 1: Is it a wife in there? Is it his kids? Think?
- 56:25Speaker 1: Think think you're worried about not being a nag, but
- 56:28Speaker 1: you're worried about the wrong things. You still have to
- 56:31Speaker 1: ask questions. You obviously can't take his word for anything,
- 56:35Speaker 1: and you're feeling it. You know something isn't quite right.
- 56:38Speaker 1: You definitely need receipts when he tells you things. Okay,
- 56:42Speaker 1: Now he's moving out because he thinks he's worn out.
- 56:45Speaker 1: He's welcome with you. No, you didn't tell him that
- 56:48Speaker 1: he thinks that you may be onto him, and he
- 56:51Speaker 1: knows he's wrong. That's why he's leaving. I know you
- 56:55Speaker 1: think he loves you and you're confused, but please, love
- 56:58Speaker 1: has nothing to do with this relationship. Nothing. Uh, there's
- 57:03Speaker 1: really no mystery at all about him. Like I said earlier,
- 57:06Speaker 1: I think you should break up with this loser and
- 57:08Speaker 1: and please stop having sex with him until he comes clean.
- 57:11Speaker 1: And that's not gonna happen. Steve, Wow, where where are
- 57:17Speaker 1: these women who write these letters? I didn't know that
- 57:21Speaker 1: you could be this gullible. I just really didn't. Man,
- 57:25Speaker 1: it doesn't it almost doesn't make any sense. You know.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I'm starting to think that women, women would rather be
- 57:34Speaker 1: in a relationship of some kind than to be in
- 57:39Speaker 1: a real relationship of some kind. Think you're right. I
- 57:45Speaker 1: think it's you keep holding on to these relationships that
- 57:49Speaker 1: aren't rewarding and are not fulfilling to you, just so
- 57:52Speaker 1: you could say you in one. Because this don't make
- 57:55Speaker 1: no damn sense. You forty two, forty five, you've been
- 57:59Speaker 1: in a relationship with three years. Past two years we've
- 58:02Speaker 1: been he's been living with you because he needed some
- 58:04Speaker 1: house repairs done two years. Okay, around Christmas time last year,
- 58:13Speaker 1: I caught him at his own house one Saturday when
- 58:16Speaker 1: he was supposed to be visiting his parents in South Carolina.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I pulled up in his driveway. He met me at
- 58:22Speaker 1: the door and told me it was dusty mess inside
- 58:24Speaker 1: of the construction site. I didn't need to come in.
- 58:26Speaker 1: He also didn't hug or kiss me. He said he
- 58:29Speaker 1: was too dirty from working all day. And that's all
- 58:34Speaker 1: he had to tell you. Go up to the house.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It's too damn dirty here and now, but it's too
- 58:40Speaker 1: damn dirty for you. He don't hug or kiss you
- 58:45Speaker 1: because he too dirty. That's all he had to tell you,
- 58:47Speaker 1: and you went for that. Okay. I never questioned him
- 58:52Speaker 1: about telling me oh he was still in town, because
- 58:55Speaker 1: I never want to be a nagger like his ex wife. Okay,
- 58:59Speaker 1: So now you're being you're getting played. You're actually creating
- 59:07Speaker 1: the perfect scenario and excuse that he needs to do
- 59:12Speaker 1: whatever he needs to do, and that's all you're doing.
- 59:17Speaker 1: So now you've created the atmosphere for him to thrive
- 59:23Speaker 1: in and tell you anything he wants to tell you,
- 59:27Speaker 1: and you're just going along with it. I don't want
- 59:29Speaker 1: to be a nagger like his ex wife. Well why
- 59:33Speaker 1: was she nagging? Hell, you gotta understand something. Now, most
- 59:39Speaker 1: women don't nag for no reason. They've been given a reason.
- 59:43Speaker 1: That how some women who do. But most women that
- 59:46Speaker 1: nag you about something is because you gave him a
- 59:48Speaker 1: reason too. And I think he gave the X a reason. Yeah,
- 59:53Speaker 1: hold that. Well that part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:57Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's very
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: letter subject is my man moves mysteriously. We'll get right
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: My man moves mysteriously. This lady right here is so
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: gullible in this letter. Like I said, it just makes
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: me think that women would rather have some relationship than
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a real relationship, and your real relationship meaning that you're rewarded,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you're fulfilled, you're complete, So you deal with all these inconsistencies.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: And it don't make no sense. You've been dating this
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: man three years. Two years ago he moved in your
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: house because he was doing some house repairs. For two years,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you went over his house once said when he said
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he was going to see his mommy in South Carolina.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: You go over his house and he supposed to be empty.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: He's standing in there working. He meets you at the
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: dot don't let you in because he's saying it's a construction,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: citing his messing, his dirty He don't hug and kiss
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you at the dope. And he said the reason he
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: kiss you because he'd been working in there all day.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You're stupid, so you let him tell you that. Then
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you said, I never questioned him about telling me he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: was still in town because I never want to be
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: a nagger like his ex wife. His ex wife was
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: nagging for something. Yes, she nagging. And now you're starting
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to see why I'm telling you right now. Most women
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: don't nag for no reason. Some of them do, but
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: the majority of women, you give them a reason to
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: turn into this nagging. Okay, ready for this. He did
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: not come home that night. He didn't come home. He
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: told you he was at his mama's house in South Carolina.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: You go over to his house and he at that house,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: he don't let you in. You drive off here. The
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: best one I've ever heard in my life. He did
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: not come home that night. The next morning, he came
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: home and said he was shaved and he had on
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: dress pass. He said he went to church because his
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: co worker got baptized, or the best one I've ever heard.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: That's a good one. That but boy, you're proud. I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: got my chest out on this. Yeah, I'm shaved and
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: got on dress pass because I went to church because
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: my co worker got baptized. Here's something you can't find
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: out if it's true or not. I don't give a
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: damn what type of research you do? What church? What coworker?
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: What job was? He referred to? You ain't gonna be
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: able researchers. Best live I've ever heard? Co worker got baptized.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Then she said, this man threw me into a lot
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: the last twenty four hours. That lie right there, my
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: co worker got baptime. That's the best live I've ever heard.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: It's so rare it has to be a lie. It ain't.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Fred I'm gonna have to write a book called Creative
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Lies and just and so this man threw me into
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: a lot the last twenty four hours. I still don't
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: nag or ask him any questions. Lady, Okay, so now
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you're just gullible. You're just going along with if you
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: don't question your relationship on him, you're just going along
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: with whatever he's saying for next few months. He would
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: lead a house and wouldn't say where he was going.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Who can do that? Who in a relationship has to
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: freedom to come and go and never say where you're
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: going or when you're coming back. Now, I would ride
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: by his house, but the garage was always down, so
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: if he was there, I couldn't tell. Last one if
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: he said he was finished with his house and he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: said it all right? Now here we go. He said
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: he felt like he was wearing out is welcome with me?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: And he might go stay with his parents until he
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: finds a new house. What wait a minute, you leaving me?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: You're gonna go live with your mama, nim because you
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: weren't out your welcome and you're gonna go stay with
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: your parents to you find a new house. I told
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: him I wanted to see how it renovated his house.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Betty for this, he said, there as a tenant written
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: it right now another good life. Got to be proud
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: this boy right here. I love this boy right here.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: So I can't let you in it because it tenant
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: renten it right now. I had a look of confusion,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and he went off on me for not believing him.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Remember this, anything, best defense is a good offense. Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: so when you look confused, Oh, I'm lying up. Yeah, dog,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: she living there and she's been living there, and you're
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: not fend to go to your mama's house. You find
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: to go over there. So telling you that there's a
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: renter in the house so you don't have to go
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: by there looking for him no more. And right out
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he told you he's gonna put it on the market
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and sell it. If you're gonna put the market on
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: the sell it, why you gotta tendant in that right now?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Already so much is going on with him. I don't
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: know if I should believe him. He still says he
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: loves me and we still have sex. That's because you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: let him. Yeah, so why is he keeping me in
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the dog? What is he up to? So you want
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to know why he's keeping you in the dog because
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you don't seem to have a problem being in the dark.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: This is why he don't bring you into the light,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Because you don't have a problem being in the dark.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You don't question him about nothing. You don't ask him
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: where he going. What it's word about you like being
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: in the dog. So now that you're in the dog.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: But I'm gonna lighting it up for you. There's a
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: woman living in the house that he's seeing. He gonna
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: go live over there, and he ain't moving in with
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: his mama. Why would he moving in with a mama
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: when he can sleep with you all with her ladies?
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Shut up? Bye? All right, thanks Steve. Please leave your
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Instagram at Steve Harvey
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: FM and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is Sports Talk with Junior right
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. All right, it is
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior? Okay,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: everybody listen. We need to go to we AREBG dot
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: org for Britney grind and really signed this petition. Man,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: this makes no sense what they've done to her for
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: her wife. You know, their anniversary was Saturday, their wedding anniversary.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Her is Cheryl's anniversary. They Britney was over there. She
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: tried to call the number to the US embassy so
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: they could patch her into Cheryl over in Arizona. All right,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: she called eleven times, nobody answered. The phone was reading
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: at the embassy. The crazy part about they said that
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the embassy was understaff but the phone just ranking. She
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: had not spoken to Brittany in full months, and it
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: was on day wedding anniversary. So we AREBG dot or.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Let's just get her from over there. We are bg
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: dot org. That that state department still says that she
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: is a priority. He's still all trying to work to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: get it out. So we are BG dot or. You're
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: talking about in Russia, Yes, sir, the USMASC in Russia
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: State Department admitted that, no, we understaffed in Russia, and
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: there was nobody at the desk when the phone rang.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: This time it was US ain't we ain't got this
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: help over their team, Yeah, yeah, all their way the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: anniversary the four year read in the anniversary and she
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: did not get to talk to her. So they wanted
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: to put it back out there. We are BG dot org.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: They'll sign the petition so we can get her back
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: from over her home. Bring it just bringing her home,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: that's you know, that's it, all right. Your food the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: food is back in there. Kyrie Irving is back in
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the news again, and I just loved Kyrie. Kyro was wrong.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Kyrie Carrie Irwin last season was holding his own practices
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: at the Brooklyn Next facility. After the team practice, Kyrie
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: will grab five more players and say because he could
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: not play because of the New York Band dates after
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: they practiced, Kyrie had his old practice. Now that they
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: find this kind of disrespectful because Steve Nashon already held
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: practice and he said that's a problem for the head coach.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: So he has until June twenty ninth to figure out
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: if he's gonna play in Brooklyn and if he's gonna
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: see if he's gonna stay with the next with KD
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: and he's guaranteed thirty six million next season if he
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: does play. But he is warned in Miami and he
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: is warned in Los Angeles. Do you think Lebron James
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: and Kyrie could do this again? Yeah, it could be
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: a change where they take Russell sending him to Brooklyn
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and then Kyrie goes to Los Angeles, Steve, which you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: feel better? Man, Kyrie got to get his head on whever.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: He's a magnificent townent. Yeah. I love a brother, but man,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: but holding your old practices though. If I was so,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I definitely want to go to Brooklyn to play with
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: kde though. Yeah, all right, all right, junior, thank you.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: We got to get out of here. Coming up at
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Tommy has something to get
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: off his chest, and we'll find out what that is
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Tommy. So
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: before we went to break, you said you there was
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: something you wanted to get off your chest. What's going on?
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I gotta get some things off my chest. This past
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: weekend was Father's Day weekend as well as Juneteenth celebration.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I went went to a cookout, a hangout. I gotta
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: get it off my chest. This is it. I'm not
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: going to Animo cookhouts no more. That's it. I'm done.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: What's why I got invited to? I got invited to
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: a cookout? Brother invited by fifteen people. I say, cool. Now,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: when you get invited to a cookout, you call you
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: know what you need? You need me bring anything, you know,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: bob saw, paper tie. These are the kind of things
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: you brain to a cook all right. Then you might
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: even bring a complimented by the wine, you know, just
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: to show you got a little class. That's what you do.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: But for you to tell me that you want me
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: to bring something and I say, cool, what you need
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: air filters and three bags of mulch, that's a little
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: bit far. Fetch right there, dog, This ain't got nothing
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: to do with cooking. Then I get there. I get
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: that the dog much. Now you you basically got me
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: running your damn errands on stuff that you need. And
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I get there, I get that. Derek there, Derek, say
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: what you Brian said. I said he wanted some feel
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: there's some up. Derek says, man, I had to get
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: some toothpaste and then pick up his mama prescription. Is
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: this you got us doing? Doct What gotta cook out
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: of this? Man? Then Kendrick Kendrick pull up in his truck.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: He rolled around to the outside of the patio. When
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: he come around, he got two cases of diapers and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: some fabulosa. Then what is we're doing, man, because ain't
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: no damn cook our dog. What is this you're doing? Now?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: What broke the camera back? Was this? This is the
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: last straw? Danny rolls up. Danny roll up. I'm thinking, okay,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I ain't seen no barbecue sauce. I said, well, maybe
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Danny Brahan, Danny roll up. Danny got eight bags a
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: concrete in sixteen fence posts. What is hey? Man? What y'all? Hey? Now,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: what we're doing? Man, what we're doing? You've been to
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: put a fence up. We got a march, We got
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: your mamma prescription, we got diapers. I'm done, man, I'm done.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm done. I've got my own house. All
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: the cookouts is that my house, man, I'm not cooking
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: it off with no no, no, no, no no. I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: know what to happen at my house. Yeah, and that's
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: another thing that took about. That took about three plus
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: more hours before we actually ate something. I'm done, hey, man,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: But by the damn, y'all put them fish posts and
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: y'all was hungry, though y'all had to build a back yard.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Come on, man, but everybody, everybody brought the stuff that
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: that he asked for it though everybody but but but
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: but but your mama prescription. Though, Come on, man, appreciate
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: any trouble. That's it. That's just little something I wanted
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to get off my chest. I just need to get
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: it off. I love. I'm done. I'm done going to
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: cook out all cookouts at my house. I cook off
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: for myself. That's Do you ask people to bring things
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: at your house or I don't care if they bring nothing.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I make sure I got everything I needn't, I don't
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: need nothing. Bring your out and play it. I got
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you that right there, there's these these three bags of
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: multiple you got alt filters. We didn't ran all his errors? Yes, yes,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: at Lasi already had the meat and stuff there for
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: the cook al let you call it him Tommy with
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: mulching your hand man, and one side filled the twenty
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: four by thirty one by two? What kind of OK?
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: You have to go? Look forward it go to the garden.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: What about you, Steve? Do you have people bring stuff
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I know? Or do you just you ain't bringing nothing
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: over here. I don't want your opinion of what good
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: potato salad is. I got it, I got it. If
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: everybody does have something to say? All right, thinking of
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: you coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll

- 1:14:31Speaker 1: were released on what her issues may have been with
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: the deceased, but the family of the dead person said
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: the female had animosity, animal looking towards a dead person.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: She got caught, though. She was charged with abuse of
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: a corpse, which is a felony in Texas. She could
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: face up to two years in jail and be fined
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: up to ten thousand dollars. Well at a black room,

- 1:15:13Speaker 1: But you don't spit on Uncle Robert. Yeah, hey, respects.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I see Uncle Robert getting up after that. I see
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: him getting up after that. That is crazy. I'm mad
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: are you that you do that? Though? I'm mad. You
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: got to be at the point in your life you

- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you rather be vegan for a week taking lobster or
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: a vegan can lost some way more fun. I'm on

- 1:17:56Speaker 1: your arm. You brace yourself. Yes, you can't even get
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: over that by the wall and grab the rill and nothing.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: You're trying to cover yourself. Yeah, statement swinging all right?
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Would you rather have your belly kiss or would you
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: rather have your thigh kids? Either one? You don't that
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: where I want you to be thih either one? Junior
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: us disease Steve, Steve, Yeah, you kiss my thigh, slid
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: your head probably rub against me. That's the beginning of
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: a wonderful evening. Like yeah, yeah, your hair touched me.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: We're ending on that note. That's today's rounded with you
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: rather all right? Five minutes after last break of the
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: day and we'll close out the show with Steve Harvey
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. We want
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: to say thank you to our friend and family member
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Earthquake for stopping by today. Congratulations and all that he's doing. Yeah,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: all that he's doing. Got a big tour coming up,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: the legendary tour. And then he yelled and said, will
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: be in Buffalo for a benefit concert for the Buffalo
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: victims of the mass shooting. There so good things on
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: the horizon for a quake, you know, And we're all
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: these years man to hell quakes say this is the
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: first tool. He's headline, and I understand what he's talking about.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: I'm talking about major touring. I'm not talking about no
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you know, with no group of people. I'm talking about
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: where you are the guy. Yeah, and it's your tool
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and you going to theaters. Yeah that's major. Yeah, that
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: is major. And then he's got a movie coming out
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: with Jerry Seinfeld, So I mean, yeah, yeah, that is
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: really huge. Really happy for Earthquake. He deserves it. Funny, funny,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: funny man, really funny too. He's a comedians. Comedian m
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: After the Kings was the first major two I've ever had.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: After the Kings. I was touring before the Kings, but
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: it wasn't an established tour. You know. I did a
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: B market tour at one time. But I'm talking about
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: something I was really really proud of was touring after
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: the Kings because I was doing big venues. I was
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: still doing some marinas too. You know what I like
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: about you, Steve besides your stage show, but you know
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: everything about the business. You know how many seats the
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: arena has, how many seconds before a laugh or you know,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you know between laughs and all? You know so many deeps.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: That's quite impressive. I really was committed to stand up man,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: not only as a student, but a business and a science.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: And I made it my job to know every single
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: aspect of my craft because you're gonna need it. I know,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I know when a guy can sell you know, listen,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: here's here's what like. Here's a difference. You know, you
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: gotta get your career in order, and if you miss
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: the steps, you're gonna have to go back and get
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: on him. Here's a deal. Selling out a theater is
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: different from selling out a comedy club. Comedy club comes
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: in with a little bit of an audience already because
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: it's a comedy club and it's a date spot. But
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: when a person come, you come to town in a
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: comedy club, person has options. They got Friday night, Saturday night,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Sunday night. They got an early show, they got laid show,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: they got middle show, they got times to pick. When
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you come to town to do a theater, it's one night.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: It's one time. A person has to make a real
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: decision to come see you. You find out how famous
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: you are real quick or how good you are, because
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: now a person has to go. I don't have three
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: shows tonight and three nights to pick from this guy
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: coming one night, one show. I got to drop everything
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: to get there. You find out real fast who you are,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: real real fast. And then in the days that's what
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I judge it as. And then I realized, in order
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: to make a real living at this, I need to
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: get in the Marinas and sell three thousand tickets, and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: then I could make a real living. Then I said, okay,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: if I could sell five thousand tickets, na, man, I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: got real lifestyle going from me. And it happened, And
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: then every nine and then I do a six thousand,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: seventy five hundred seater, you know. But I was very
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: conscious and careful about where I performed. I made sure
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: that I had built up a substantial comedy club track
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: record in that town before I went to the venue
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: in that town. And I just very sure footedly, like
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: a capricorn, like a goat that scales high heights. I
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: was very sure footed in my approach to my career.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I'm very blessed by God. Man. It give me that
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: understanding about the business, the science of it, and then
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: also being a student of it. That was always impressive
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to me that you knew that. I mean, you know,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: you shouldn't know your business, of course, but yeah, it's
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: important absolutely, you know. But it's like any as respect
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: of your life. Man, you know, facehood, our works is dead.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: You know, You've got to put some work in. Man, study,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: study your craft, hone your craft, be a perfectionist about yourself.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Get a system that works for you. There's no one
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: set system to this, but you got to get a
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: system that works for you. It's like I did this
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: interview or earn your leisure, and I spent a substantial
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: amount of time talking about eighty five South Carlos, Chico
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Bean and DC Young five and I was just I
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: had and I had to really stop and get them
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: young boys credit because they're doing something I didn't think
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: could be done. They're sitting on stage as an improv
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: group and they're selling out and they're very very entertaining, man,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and I don't know how they do that and it's
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: never been done with African Americans before. This is the first. Yeah,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: but there's yeah, they've been on the show before it too,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: they've been on our show. Just crazy great guys on
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: and off the stage. Two yes, for sure, for sure.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: But they stand on your shoulders. They come behind you.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: And that's great advice to know what you know, to
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: know your craft, like you say inside and out that
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: that's across the board. Whatever. And that's it. So hey,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: y'all listen, that's it for the day. Hey listen, here's
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: a suggestion, everybody talk to God because he would absolutely
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: love to hear from you today. Y'all, stay and people
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: will see y'all. The law for all Steve Every contests,
