- 2:01Speaker 1: I show will I good morning everybody y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now? But it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show man instead of trying
- 2:13Speaker 1: to be about the business to y'all, I'm I'm I'm
- 2:17Speaker 1: doing all I can. But you know what's crazy in
- 2:21Speaker 1: the efforts that I make, I can do more. You know,
- 2:26Speaker 1: my father used to tell me something when I was
- 2:28Speaker 1: growing up. He says, son, when you've done your best
- 2:34Speaker 1: and you've done all you can, sit still for a
- 2:38Speaker 1: second and just do a little bit more. Always remember that,
- 2:44Speaker 1: he said, When you've done the best you can and
- 2:46Speaker 1: you can done all you can think of, he say,
- 2:49Speaker 1: sit still for a minute and do some more. And
- 2:52Speaker 1: you know what I've discovered in my life, always have
- 2:55Speaker 1: a little more. I ain't ever just out out out completely.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I can't take another step. There ain't another breath in me,
- 3:03Speaker 1: There ain't there ain't another thought I can produce. I'm
- 3:06Speaker 1: never completely out, man. Just take a rest for a minute, man,
- 3:11Speaker 1: and then just do a little bit more. And that that.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times that's helped me
- 3:18Speaker 1: get over the top. You know. I was watching a
- 3:22Speaker 1: documentary about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult climbing
- 3:26Speaker 1: Mount Everest was and how they have on the hill
- 3:31Speaker 1: something called like a death zone or killing zone, where
- 3:34Speaker 1: the majority of people run out of oxygen and they
- 3:37Speaker 1: have to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right
- 3:42Speaker 1: in view of the summit. You can actually see the
- 3:45Speaker 1: top of Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's
- 3:49Speaker 1: that little bit that's left that's the most difficult. Now
- 3:53Speaker 1: that I forgot all the reasons why they said most
- 3:55Speaker 1: people don't make it from there, and more people have
- 3:58Speaker 1: lost their lives in that area. Yeah, I don't know
- 4:00Speaker 1: what it is. But the people that make it to
- 4:04Speaker 1: the top of Mount efforts, they all had to go
- 4:08Speaker 1: through that same zone or that same area. But they
- 4:13Speaker 1: had a little bit more that allowed them to get
- 4:15Speaker 1: to the top. You know a lot of people have
- 4:18Speaker 1: had accidents up there trying that, So I'm not even
- 4:21Speaker 1: really sure if Mount Everest analogy is a good one.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But let's just break it down a little bit more.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Let's just talk about life. There's a poem I learned
- 4:33Speaker 1: back when I host pledge in. It's called don't Quit.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It goes like this, If I make a mistake, I'm
- 4:38Speaker 1: just trying to drum it up, So here we go.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It says when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
- 4:44Speaker 1: when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when your
- 4:48Speaker 1: funds are low and your debts are high, when you
- 4:52Speaker 1: want to smile, but you have to side, when cares
- 4:56Speaker 1: are pressing you down a bit rest if you ust,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but don't quit. For life is queer with his twisting turns,
- 5:05Speaker 1: as every one of us must sometimes learn. And many
- 5:09Speaker 1: a fellow has turned about when he might have won
- 5:13Speaker 1: had he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though
- 5:16Speaker 1: the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 5:26Speaker 1: faint and a faltering man, And often the struggler has
- 5:30Speaker 1: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 5:38Speaker 1: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 5:43Speaker 1: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tint of your
- 5:48Speaker 1: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 5:52Speaker 1: you are. It may be kneel when it seems afar,
- 5:57Speaker 1: So stick to the fight when your heart all this hit.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's when things seem worse that you mustn't quit. I
- 6:06Speaker 1: remember it because I had a special method of helping
- 6:08Speaker 1: you remember stuff back then. But I remember it at
- 6:12Speaker 1: that point. My dad has kept me. You know, we
- 6:16Speaker 1: often talk about scripture and everything, and then I don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: see how I could live without it. But every now
- 6:21Speaker 1: and then, man, somebody has a writing. God puts a
- 6:24Speaker 1: writing on somebody's heart that delivers a message man that
- 6:27Speaker 1: can help people. I use every motivational tool that I
- 6:30Speaker 1: possibly can to climb this letter of success or try
- 6:34Speaker 1: to be the best fall and the best husband I
- 6:36Speaker 1: can be. I've done a lot of changing over the years,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and so have you. But change is necessary in order
- 6:42Speaker 1: to grow. If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I was a young man on my set. I kept
- 6:49Speaker 1: looking at him and a sharp, little young dude just
- 6:51Speaker 1: on my set, and he had these dreads and I
- 6:56Speaker 1: mean they were they were super long, man will well
- 7:01Speaker 1: below the middle of his back, I mean images long.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And he kept talking to me, and he kept talking
- 7:06Speaker 1: to me and talking to me. So your man kept
- 7:08Speaker 1: talking to him, and I said, hey, man, you know
- 7:10Speaker 1: you do you're huge self a favor in the business
- 7:13Speaker 1: you're in. If you got a haircut, you would do
- 7:16Speaker 1: yourself a huge favor. I said, your images everything, man,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:21Speaker 1: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:23Speaker 1: but all I see is your hair. I keep trying
- 7:26Speaker 1: to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:35Speaker 1: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:37Speaker 1: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:40Speaker 1: with me, I try to imagine you in your suit
- 7:42Speaker 1: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 1: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair,
- 7:53Speaker 1: he said, Man, mister Harvey, I've been growing his hair
- 7:55Speaker 1: sides a little boy. I said, how hold are you now?
- 7:58Speaker 1: He said twenty eight? I said, well, how long you
- 8:01Speaker 1: want to hang on to what you was when you
- 8:03Speaker 1: was a little boy? You know, if you started growing
- 8:05Speaker 1: your hair when you're a teenager. I mean, you're twenty
- 8:07Speaker 1: eight now. And I said, so, let me help you
- 8:10Speaker 1: understand something. Let me let me ask you something. What
- 8:13Speaker 1: does it do for you? He's a man, it's just
- 8:16Speaker 1: who I am. It's I said, so you your have
- 8:20Speaker 1: He said no, no, But it's a part of me.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:26Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I fear that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 8:36Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
- 8:40Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
- 8:45Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
- 8:50Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I
- 8:55Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to change,
- 8:58Speaker 1: change is necessary to grow. You can't be all you
- 9:03Speaker 1: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
- 9:07Speaker 1: all you was. That don't make no sense. How do
- 9:11Speaker 1: you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You can't
- 9:15Speaker 1: stay here and go there? Do you understand that if
- 9:20Speaker 1: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
- 9:24Speaker 1: from right here? Oh? I got right here is comfortable,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
- 9:32Speaker 1: the shade is over. There's where the fruit is. Over
- 9:36Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is over. There is where
- 9:40Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
- 9:43Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:51Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was. Change his growth
- 9:54Speaker 1: is necessary. All let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 1: We have an announcement to make this morning. Due to
- 10:06Speaker 1: pre show discussions, a comment was made and I thought
- 10:11Speaker 1: that I would bring it up this morning. First of all,
- 10:14Speaker 1: good morning to everybody callings Shirley, Tommy Mississippi, Monica, Junior's out,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and uh Jay is out. Good morning, everybody morning, Good morning.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Let me bring up this subject that I heard being
- 10:29Speaker 1: discussed before the show started this morning. Okay, Donald Trump
- 10:37Speaker 1: not leaving the White House. It's causing our country to
- 10:44Speaker 1: experience a bad divorce. As I heard the crew talking,
- 10:54Speaker 1: this isn't like a bad divorce. Yeah, I'm an expert
- 10:59Speaker 1: at this. I had more to anybody on this show. Yeah. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: So let me assure you that this is a bad divorce,
- 11:14Speaker 1: is it? Yeah? All right? We have a man that
- 11:19Speaker 1: we don't won't no more exactly, and he won't leave,
- 11:24Speaker 1: all right, he won't leave. Insteaded coming down to your job.
- 11:33Speaker 1: He talking to the kids, he had work. Oh yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: he got a key to the house. Lord, I thought
- 11:47Speaker 1: I changed the locks. Man. We're thinking restraining order and everything.
- 11:54Speaker 1: America is experiencing a bad divorce. America has divorced Donald Trump. Now,
- 12:03Speaker 1: a lot of the kids didn't want the divorce, right
- 12:06Speaker 1: there you go. It's very true. And they've been arguing
- 12:11Speaker 1: with Mama and them. Yeah, why you got to go?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Why you got to go? Because y'all don't know what
- 12:18Speaker 1: he was doing to mama when he was here. Dad, right, no,
- 12:24Speaker 1: not on you, because mama kept things from you, and
- 12:30Speaker 1: that's what's happened. Secrets. But some of the kids know
- 12:34Speaker 1: the truth because some of the kids was getting the
- 12:37Speaker 1: abuties by the abusive man in the relationship mixed marriage,
- 12:47Speaker 1: so you know, it happened a lot of the white
- 12:52Speaker 1: kids was getting messed over too. That's true. He was
- 12:55Speaker 1: just a bad father because he had favorite. He wasn't
- 13:02Speaker 1: fathering for all the kids equally. He had come boy.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He liked the kids that liked him the most, and
- 13:11Speaker 1: the rest of them he didn't like, and so he
- 13:15Speaker 1: treated them badly whenever we could, and then he tried
- 13:19Speaker 1: to mask it with DA's fine. People on both sides well,
- 13:23Speaker 1: were not people we were supposed to be family question. Yes, ma'am,
- 13:33Speaker 1: right after this, we'll be going back with more than
- 13:35Speaker 1: bad divorce. And you're listening all right. Time to go rogue,
- 13:45Speaker 1: which is towered by the super silish road. Steve, please
- 13:50Speaker 1: quickly tell us about when going rogue turned out to
- 13:53Speaker 1: be just right for you. I mean, look, I can
- 13:59Speaker 1: point to so many incidents, but I think probably the greatest,
- 14:04Speaker 1: one of the greatest moments for me was a teacher
- 14:08Speaker 1: of mine, not just one, but this one in particulate.
- 14:11Speaker 1: But hey, I've heard just repeat it in my life
- 14:14Speaker 1: several times. You ain't gonna ever be nothing and I
- 14:19Speaker 1: just think oftentimes about how many times I heard that
- 14:23Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever be nothing. Look at you. I
- 14:28Speaker 1: kept people kept telling me what I wasn't what nobody
- 14:34Speaker 1: trying to figure out what I was, But they were
- 14:37Speaker 1: so fast to tell me what I wasn't. You ain't
- 14:41Speaker 1: that smart, you ain't that good looking, You ain't that
- 14:46Speaker 1: you talk too slow, you country, you ain't this, You
- 14:50Speaker 1: ain't got the right attitude? You got right? Bahoa? Does
- 14:55Speaker 1: anybody have any idea what I am? Though? While you
- 14:59Speaker 1: tell to me what I'm not. So when this teacher
- 15:02Speaker 1: kept repeating, you ain't gonna ever be nothing, I did
- 15:07Speaker 1: say back to him one time, this man he said,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever be nothing, I said, I know
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna be something. Okay. That was good. And so
- 15:17Speaker 1: then I made the decision, through several moments in my life,
- 15:22Speaker 1: to always constantly be about the business of trying to
- 15:26Speaker 1: be something. It may not be what you think I'm
- 15:28Speaker 1: gonna be, and I may not turn out to be
- 15:31Speaker 1: what you expect me to be, but I'm gonna stay faithful.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep working hard. I'm gonna roll on you Pardner,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna go against the grain. I'm gonna make a
- 15:40Speaker 1: hard left here. I am roll roll, I'm roking. All right,
- 15:52Speaker 1: We're gonna go rogue now, Steve with your favorite segment.
- 15:54Speaker 1: It's called as the CLO. It's being sponsored today, the
- 15:58Speaker 1: all new one Nissan Rogue. That's right, Tommy, it is
- 16:02Speaker 1: the CLO the Klow and this one is from Henry
- 16:05Speaker 1: and Wilmington, North Carolina. Are you ready clo Henry? I know,
- 16:11Speaker 1: Henry says. My wife and I are forty three years old,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and she has a crush on a lot of celebrities.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I don't mind her, jokingly saying she thinks Michael B.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Jordan is the finest man alive. But I do have
- 16:21Speaker 1: a problem when she compares me to these famous men.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I always try to eat right and go to the
- 16:27Speaker 1: gym weekly, but I will never look like him. Recently,
- 16:31Speaker 1: we were watching TV and she said she wished that
- 16:34Speaker 1: my chest it looked like Nellie's. They must have been
- 16:36Speaker 1: watching Dancing with the Stars anyway, I fired back at her.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Listen to what he said to her, though. I fired
- 16:42Speaker 1: back at her, and I said I wished her body
- 16:45Speaker 1: looked like Jay Low's. Oh. She's been mad at me
- 16:52Speaker 1: since then and she said, I was foul for saying that,
- 16:56Speaker 1: but it's all right for her to do it. No,
- 16:59Speaker 1: it's not all right for her to do it. But
- 17:00Speaker 1: see that's the main thing. See what I've had to
- 17:04Speaker 1: learn is, man, you got to be careful what you
- 17:06Speaker 1: say to your mate, to your partner, because you can't
- 17:08Speaker 1: take it back. And you have got to learn how
- 17:10Speaker 1: to fight fair. See now you've been you've been doing
- 17:14Speaker 1: your little digs at the man. You wish you had
- 17:17Speaker 1: Nellie's chest, you know, wish you had tiler money, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: wish you had this ass swag, wish wish you look
- 17:26Speaker 1: like dress? Well, who you want me too? Ain't nobody?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Ain't nobody said they want to look like Morgan Freeman anyway.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Now see now you need to make up your mind.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Do you want me to be something? To see? So
- 17:42Speaker 1: she she got it coming. So he got tired of it,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and he said, well, hell, I wish you had body
- 17:48Speaker 1: like jay Loo shut it down. Now, she mad, Well,
- 17:52Speaker 1: see here's what she has to understand. Ain't no fun.
- 17:58Speaker 1: When the rabbit got the good. See it's all good
- 18:04Speaker 1: when you rabbit hunting, get out there in the woods.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And rabbit got the gun. This ain't no fun noun.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And so that's it. You know, y'all need to y'all
- 18:15Speaker 1: need to make a pack together and say, hey, we're
- 18:17Speaker 1: gonna stop doing this to one another because you know
- 18:20Speaker 1: you ain't all that and I ain't all that. But
- 18:22Speaker 1: do we who we are? I give you an example.
- 18:25Speaker 1: MARGIN had a hairdresser one time. It was really funny,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and her husband was this big guy, real real big
- 18:31Speaker 1: dude man right like really overweight, and she came over
- 18:37Speaker 1: to the house and she had cut her hair. He
- 18:40Speaker 1: had to be about two ninety three hundred easy. It
- 18:44Speaker 1: wasn't solid or nothing, you know, And but she cut
- 18:48Speaker 1: her hair real short, like Shirley's hair. And the dude
- 18:53Speaker 1: saw it when she came He see her hair. Baby
- 18:55Speaker 1: like my hair, he said, hell no, I like long hair.
- 19:00Speaker 1: She said, well, I like muscles, but we got each
- 19:02Speaker 1: other though, shut it down, baby, to come back. I
- 19:10Speaker 1: like long hair. She said, well, I like muscles, but
- 19:14Speaker 1: we got each other. And here we all moving on.
- 19:23Speaker 1: De Carlo and Hampton, Virginia says, I'm twenty seven and
- 19:27Speaker 1: I have a four year old son. I'm trying to
- 19:29Speaker 1: fix the relationship with his mom and be a better father.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I kept him last weekend and took him to the park.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I was about to play a quick game of basketball,
- 19:39Speaker 1: so I asked one of my side chicks to watch him.
- 19:42Speaker 1: He was drawing pictures and having a good time. I
- 19:44Speaker 1: took him home after the game. Shortly after he got home,
- 19:47Speaker 1: I got a call from his mom. She said, my
- 19:50Speaker 1: son had a little black heart drawn on his hand
- 19:52Speaker 1: with the sharpie and the name Shauna was written by it.
- 19:55Speaker 1: She knows who Shauna is, and she said she doesn't
- 19:58Speaker 1: want my son around me or Shawna anymore. How can
- 20:02Speaker 1: I fix this? Hey? Dog? Are you for real? Baby? No,
- 20:10Speaker 1: you didn't see this on this boy hand before you
- 20:15Speaker 1: getting here. Well, you should have got that off that
- 20:17Speaker 1: damn boy head and she gonna write her name on
- 20:21Speaker 1: the boarhead. But you're playing basketball, see you trying to
- 20:24Speaker 1: get close to your son. You can't take your son
- 20:27Speaker 1: to the park and then you play basketball. You're supposed
- 20:29Speaker 1: to spend that time with your son. Now, you didn't
- 20:32Speaker 1: let one of your side chicks that show. Damn problem
- 20:36Speaker 1: right now, Shanna side chick then got your ass in trouble.
- 20:40Speaker 1: She knew what she was doing when she marked that
- 20:42Speaker 1: baby and send him home anyway, put no damn black
- 20:45Speaker 1: magic mark on, no damn baby with her heart on
- 20:47Speaker 1: her name. But how you right Shanna on a four
- 20:52Speaker 1: year old hand? You know how you know how much
- 20:57Speaker 1: a dog on a four year old? Yeah? And it's legible.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah she did. You don't listen to me. You need
- 21:08Speaker 1: yeah and apologize to your wife and say, hey, I
- 21:12Speaker 1: promise you that will never have him again. That was
- 21:14Speaker 1: a mistake. But bro, you should spend your time with
- 21:17Speaker 1: your son and you turn to have Shanna over there.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You can't have your side chick when you with your son.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Fau the nephews run that prank back right after this,
- 21:29Speaker 1: you're listening to show coming up at the top of
- 21:35Speaker 1: the hour. In National News, Trump is still in denial
- 21:39Speaker 1: about the election result and he is acting like a dictator.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And Entertainment News Carl is going to tell us about
- 21:45Speaker 1: the Big I Heart HBCU homecoming celebration today. Plus Nick
- 21:51Speaker 1: Cannon and MTV are closer to bringing back what plus
- 21:57Speaker 1: what temmy nervous? Just Nick Cannon that that Nick got me? Okay,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Nick Cannon, uh, and MTV are closer to bringing back
- 22:09Speaker 1: Wilding Out. Okay, we'll talk about all of these stories
- 22:11Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now the

- 31:15Speaker 1: We love her for sure and speaking of her, she

- 31:49Speaker 1: Instagram page Yeah Yeah Yeah at lips by Carla, click
- 31:53Speaker 1: the link in my bio and check it out. I
- 31:56Speaker 1: heard HBCU homecoming celebration all day to day. That's great news,
- 32:02Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Carla. In other entertainment news, wilding
- 32:06Speaker 1: Out who knew wilding Out may be returning to MTV,
- 32:10Speaker 1: as we told you. Viacom cut ties with Nick Cannon
- 32:13Speaker 1: earlier this year following an anti Semitic comment that he
- 32:17Speaker 1: made on his podcast. Now, Nick is reportedly in talks
- 32:21Speaker 1: with the network and there's a good chance that Wilding
- 32:24Speaker 1: Out will be revived. A lot of people are happy
- 32:27Speaker 1: about that. Chris McCarthy, president of Viacom, CBS's Entertainment and
- 32:31Speaker 1: Youth group, said, we continue to follow Nick's journey and
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'm impressed by how he's owned his mistakes. Chris went
- 32:39Speaker 1: on to say about Nick, he's leading by example. He apologized,
- 32:43Speaker 1: and now he's trying to learn and understand and help
- 32:45Speaker 1: others to do the same. And that's the kind of
- 32:48Speaker 1: partner we work with. Everybody we want to work with.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Everybody deserves the right to get it, right to ask
- 32:58Speaker 1: for forgive. Everybody should receive forgiveness from God. Now people
- 33:05Speaker 1: are not gonna do that. If some people gonna hate
- 33:08Speaker 1: Nick from now on, I'm not one of the people.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I think that everybody should have the right to redeem themselves.
- 33:18Speaker 1: You gonna make mistakes, especially when you're famous and when
- 33:22Speaker 1: you're not famous. You're gonna make mistakes either way. But
- 33:24Speaker 1: these mistakes are getting played out into the social media
- 33:27Speaker 1: in the public eye. A person should be allowed to
- 33:30Speaker 1: rectify herself. The guy what he passed away, But he
- 33:35Speaker 1: had the radio show ens Imus when he made the
- 33:41Speaker 1: comment about the Rutgers basketball team. Okay, it was vile
- 33:46Speaker 1: what he said. But if you can humble yourself and
- 33:49Speaker 1: apologize and get it right, everybody deserves an opportunity to
- 33:55Speaker 1: be forgiven and get it right. Man. I don't think
- 33:58Speaker 1: because you make a blunder it should cost you your
- 34:01Speaker 1: life's work in your whole career. If you taped what
- 34:05Speaker 1: everybody said, wouldn't nobody be at work. You cancel culture. Culture,
- 34:11Speaker 1: that's what it is. We wouldn't be here at all.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Christian Empire. Yeah. And in today's national news yesterday, the
- 34:21Speaker 1: President President Trump made his first appearance in almost a
- 34:24Speaker 1: week as he and First Lady Milania attended a Veterans
- 34:29Speaker 1: Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. As we all know,
- 34:33Speaker 1: Trump is in denial about the results of the election.
- 34:36Speaker 1: White House Aids told NBC News that Trump may accept
- 34:40Speaker 1: the outcome of the election without conceding. Okay, we want
- 34:45Speaker 1: to care for whatever. Yeah, I don't care what we do.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And you know what guys, we can't expect anything else.
- 34:54Speaker 1: He's showing us who he is for four years. Be
- 34:57Speaker 1: due this classless. He's mean spirited, he's self centered, he's egotistic,
- 35:05Speaker 1: he's narcissistic. Yeah, and he's his name is Donald Trump.
- 35:11Speaker 1: And he was that way before he was president. He
- 35:14Speaker 1: was a butthole on the TV show What What What?
- 35:19Speaker 1: You thought you shouldn't get you fired? You fired all
- 35:22Speaker 1: the people on your show. You think you can't get fired?
- 35:25Speaker 1: Answers right, and they had they had to do what
- 35:28Speaker 1: Tommy leave the premises he's gonna leave to But I
- 35:32Speaker 1: hope he don't want to, and I hope I hope he.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I hope he barricade himself in and I want to
- 35:40Speaker 1: barcade himself. Badass pomp paying that with him. Now. I'll
- 35:47Speaker 1: tell you what. Ain't gonna stand in that with you,
- 35:49Speaker 1: Mike Pence. Y'all ain't hurt nothing from Mike Pence? Have you?
- 35:53Speaker 1: He said a word? He said, No, We're gonna win
- 35:57Speaker 1: this election because you know what Pence doing. He in
- 36:00Speaker 1: real quiet, because what Pen's gonna do is he comes back.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Hen Pen's gonna run in four years. Yeah, for sure,
- 36:07Speaker 1: I told you about that meme. I saw the fly
- 36:10Speaker 1: on Pen's head, said we did it. Shot out the man.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Y'all watch what I said. Because all these rumors about
- 36:20Speaker 1: Trump gonna run again in four years, Trump ain't gonna
- 36:23Speaker 1: be able to run in four years. You get busy
- 36:28Speaker 1: Trump to be in a legal wall o wall chair.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, all right. So Heraldo Rivera tweeted to President Trump,
- 36:40Speaker 1: time has come soon to say goodbye with grace and dignity. Uh. Meanwhile,
- 36:45Speaker 1: President elect Joe Biden picked former Obama advisor Ron Klain
- 36:49Speaker 1: to be his chief of staff. Also, President elect biden
- 36:52Speaker 1: transition team has been talking to civil rights attorney Benjamin
- 36:56Speaker 1: Crump on criminal justice reform and policing. So there, yes, yes, yes,
- 37:03Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. Coming up at twenty minutes
- 37:05Speaker 1: after we'll take phone calls. Eight seven seven, twenty nine. Steve,

- 37:29Speaker 1: campus with a certain group of students we were party
- 37:32Speaker 1: and we lived in Banks when Banks Banks Huh, so
- 37:39Speaker 1: our party party, party. And I saw my advisor Steve
- 37:42Speaker 1: one time. He was walking across the campus. He said, oh,
- 37:45Speaker 1: so you're just gonna party. Huh, you didn't come here
- 37:47Speaker 1: to get your degree. I said. He said, keep on, Yeah,
- 37:52Speaker 1: You're gonna keep on party. And so I said, oh.
- 37:54Speaker 1: He said, would you like me to call your mother?
- 37:56Speaker 1: I said, say what now, you don't call my mom? Right?
- 38:03Speaker 1: So I told my party and crew, look, uh, this
- 38:06Speaker 1: ain't gonna work. I got my rogue attitude, broke away
- 38:09Speaker 1: from the group, broke up with the group. Yeah, the
- 38:12Speaker 1: group decided to study and get my degree. So that's
- 38:17Speaker 1: when going rogue went right for me. Got my degree,
- 38:22Speaker 1: buckled down, that is yeah, I love it. Yeah. Uh. Teachers,
- 38:28Speaker 1: they care about you, man, Yes, and they know who

- 56:08Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject Your best friend is
- 56:12Speaker 1: my girlfriend. Dear Stephen Shirley. I was married for four years,
- 56:15Speaker 1: and at first my marriage was great and my wife
- 56:19Speaker 1: was sexy, classy and ratchet, so we had a lot
- 56:22Speaker 1: of fun together. She was a very sexual woman, so
- 56:26Speaker 1: she talked me into going to a swingers club. My
- 56:29Speaker 1: wife liked it so much that she started having an
- 56:32Speaker 1: affair with one of the guys she'd had sex with
- 56:35Speaker 1: in the swingers party. At the swingers party, I found out,
- 56:38Speaker 1: and I was so hurt. She begged me to forgive her,
- 56:41Speaker 1: and I did, but things did not go back to
- 56:44Speaker 1: normal in our marriage. During this time, my wife and
- 56:48Speaker 1: her best friend fell out because her best friend refused
- 56:50Speaker 1: to lie for her so she could keep cheating on me.
- 56:54Speaker 1: The best friend and I became closer because we couldn't
- 56:57Speaker 1: believe how my wife had suddenly changed. I spent a
- 57:00Speaker 1: lot of time talking to her, and we realized we
- 57:03Speaker 1: have a lot in common. She had just broken up
- 57:06Speaker 1: with the father of her three year old, so I
- 57:08Speaker 1: was helping her work through that. After close to six
- 57:12Speaker 1: months of being around her, I started having real feelings
- 57:16Speaker 1: for her, but I didn't want to tell her. She
- 57:18Speaker 1: beat me to it and said she'd fallen in love
- 57:21Speaker 1: with me, and she felt terrible about it. I admitted
- 57:24Speaker 1: that I felt the same way about her, and that
- 57:27Speaker 1: night we had sex for the first time. A few
- 57:31Speaker 1: days later. A few days later, we went to tell
- 57:34Speaker 1: my wife everything. My wife wasn't upset at all, and
- 57:39Speaker 1: she told me that she's been she'd been sleeping with
- 57:42Speaker 1: her best friend for years and we could have done
- 57:45Speaker 1: a threesome years ago. My wife wasn't wasn't upset at all,
- 57:54Speaker 1: and she told me that she'd been sleeping with her
- 57:56Speaker 1: best friend for years and we could have done a
- 57:59Speaker 1: threesome year years ago. She said, I'm crazy to believe
- 58:02Speaker 1: her best friend would be faithful to me. I was speechless.
- 58:06Speaker 1: The best friend admitted that my wife is more than
- 58:09Speaker 1: just a friend, but that was all in the past.
- 58:12Speaker 1: She said, she's ready to settle down. Should I trust
- 58:14Speaker 1: my new girlfriend, or believe my wife. Quite frankly, I
- 58:20Speaker 1: don't see how you can believe any of these people.
- 58:23Speaker 1: How can you trust them? Everybody's doing everybody and you've
- 58:27Speaker 1: been none the wiser. They've been doing it right under
- 58:30Speaker 1: your nose. So how can you feel comfortable around your
- 58:34Speaker 1: wife or her best friend aka your new girlfriend right
- 58:40Speaker 1: under your nose? And you had no idea? And when
- 58:44Speaker 1: you told your wife, she didn't even care. We could
- 58:46Speaker 1: have had a three some years ago she said, okay, cool.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I mean, so that sounds to me like your wife
- 58:52Speaker 1: doesn't care about you. I just think you know, what
- 58:55Speaker 1: kind of mess is this that you're in? She told
- 58:58Speaker 1: you that this relationship with her bestie won't last. Now,
- 59:03Speaker 1: your wife did say that, and I say she should
- 59:07Speaker 1: know because she dated her first. I mean, she knows
- 59:09Speaker 1: a lot more about her. They just don't sound serious
- 59:12Speaker 1: about anything. I know people can change, but I think
- 59:15Speaker 1: you need a little more time in this relationship. They
- 59:20Speaker 1: just don't sound serious and you want something meaningful and
- 59:24Speaker 1: real here all right? Quite frankly, I think you should
- 59:28Speaker 1: leave both of them, find someone else whose past had
- 59:31Speaker 1: nothing to do with your ratchet ex wife. That's my advice. Steve,
- 59:37Speaker 1: your best friend is my girlfriend. Now, this dude was
- 59:43Speaker 1: married for four years and he said, at first his
- 59:45Speaker 1: marriage was great. His wife was sexy, classy and ratchet. Uh,
- 59:52Speaker 1: you know we all know what that means. That's cool.
- 59:55Speaker 1: You know you want your woman to be you know,
- 59:57Speaker 1: styled and polish. Put on your arm in the bedroom.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: You want you know, somebody else to show up, you know. Hmm, Okay,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I got that. So we had a lot of fun together.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: She was a very sexual woman, so she talked me
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: into a swingers group. What dog, your wife? It's very sexual,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: So she talked you into a sexual into a swingers group.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Now is she sexual? Or is that freaky slash hoish? See,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you need you need to come up with what this
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: really is. Your wife talked you into a swingersh group.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: That's some more damn people. Now is she sexual, which
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: ain't no problem? Or is she freaky slash hoish? Cause
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I think you need to find out where my wife
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: liked it so much? Here we go that she started
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: having an affair with one of the guys she'd had
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: sex with at the swingers party. That answers your question, Steve.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: The one that she talked you into going to that.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: You went down now and you noticed to do because
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you saw him? What higgo? Higgo? The dumbest line in
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the whole letter. I found out and I was so hurt. Yeah,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: what bro you You wasn't hurt when she first asked
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you to go down now, but you got hurt after
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you found out she was having an affair. She was
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: having an affair at the swingers club. See, if you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: have a sexual relationship outside of your marriage, you do
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: understand that's an affair. Now, whether you're at the swingers
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: club you over at Jack Johnson's house, what difference do
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: it make? The slick part was she told your stupid
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: ass to come on down there. You took your dumbass
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: down there? Who with Joe happened marriage. We'll have part
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up a twenty three minutes
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: after the hour. Your best friend is my girlfriend. We'll
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Come on, let's get back to this letter. Let's recap.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: The subject is your best friend is my girlfriend? This
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: dude been married for years to this woman who says
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: very very sexy, she's very sexual, she's classy and ratchet,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: So do you have a lot of fun? And he says,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: she's very sexual woman, and she talked to him into
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: going to a swingers group. I want a young man
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to be aware. I don't know how old alb, but
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I want a young man to be aware of when
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a woman tells you she's very sexual and advises you
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to a swangers club. You can be sexual, but you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: gotta were about because some of that is freaky slash holish.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: So be careful when the woman tells she very sexual.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: And once again now she outside the group. Now she'd
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: then fell in love with some dude she'd had sex
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: with that swingers party. Then this dude found out about that.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Now he hurt. You should have been hurt when your
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: wife asked you to come to the swingers club. That
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: your hurt should have went right there. Now you had
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: to go down there and watch her screw another man
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: for you to be hurt and find out she wanted
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: to keep screwing him outside the party. Boy? What boy?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: How do you think you cut off? Ignorant? Well? Anyway,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: she begged you to forgive her, and you did, but
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: things didn't go back to normal. During that time your
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: wife and her best friend fell out because your best
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: friend said she refused to lie for her so she
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: could keep cheating on me. Then after that, here we go,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: the best friend and I became close, so we we
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: now we couldn't believe how my wife had suddenly changed.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: She couldn't believe it. You couldn't believe it. I don't
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: see why y'all couldn't believe to change, because y'all all
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: knew who she was. Y'all have come to find out
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: how participated didn't change anyway, y'all spend a lot of
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: time talking to realize y'all had a lot in comment.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Broke up with the father her three year old, and
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I was helping her work through that. Didn't know six
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: months of being around her, this dude started feeling something
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: for the girl, so but he didn't want to tell her,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: but she beat him to it. So what she did
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: was she said she'd fallen in love with him, and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: she felt terrible about it. Now, this is what people
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: do when they feel terrible about So they felt terrible
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: about it, and then you admitute that you felt the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: same way, and you felt said terrible about it. So
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: they had sex for the first time I mean, if
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you're gonna feel terrible about something, work it out, work
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: it out. Let's just have some damn sex. Yes, I know,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I feel better. So now they have sex for the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: first Now listen to this. We had sex for the
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: first time. A few days later, we went to tell
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: my wife everything. What right the boy boy? What is
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: wrong with you? A few days after that, we went
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to tell my wife everything. Yeah, get it off your chest.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: To get it off your chest. Just the dumbest damn
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: thing I've ever heard. Then, when they told her wife,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: she wasn't upset at all. She told me she'd been
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: sleeping with her best friend for years, and y'all could
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: have done it three some years ago. Years ago. Wait
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a minute, dog, So she been cheating on you with
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: her best friend, took you down to the swingers club,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: screwed another dude down there, having a fair with him.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: You go and screw her best friend. Then you go
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: tell her, she said, Oh, as a matter of fact, yeah,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: you ain't the only one I've been doing her. I've
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: been doing her for years, she said. Um. And then no,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: So I guess y'all went to tell your girlfriend that
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: you and your her best friend is an item now
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: because y'all in fell in love at the six months,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: right they went to tell his wife. He would tell
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the wife that you had heard her best friend and
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: you her hood. We go together now and she ready that.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Now your wife tells you that you're crazy to believe
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: her best friend would be faithful to you, and your
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: wife should know. Of course, she's an expert. The best
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: friend admitted that her and your wife was more than
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: just friends. But that's all in the past. Now, she
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: says she ready to settle down. Should not trust my
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: new girlfriend or believe my wife. This is all the
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Net asked people in this letter, just a bunch of
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I believe my new girlfriend or my wife. Boy,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that's not your wife. Your wife is dating your girlfriend,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: which was her girlfriend. Your wife is dating the man
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: from down at the swingers club, and ain't no telling
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: what's going on. You never did mention who you was
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: doing down at the swingers club. You never did put
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that in the let him you sleeping with the best friend.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Y'all couldn't wait to go tell it. Then your wife
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: couldn't wait to tell you that she've been sleeping with
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: her too. Now your girlfriend want you to trust her. Christy,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: she just want you what we gotta go see Cheryl
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Underwood coming up in forty six minutes after the hour,

- 1:09:49Speaker 1: winning ticket, right, we already knew that. Then we had
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: to get the power of the Divine nine and Black
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Radio Solidarity dot com that come together for the soul
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: of the nation. Take souls to the post. We turned

- 1:10:37Speaker 1: out to Georgia and campaign and bring out the base. Well,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: that ain't gonna work. We need to make no knack.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell, Senate minority leader. Why that no knack? We

- 1:11:49Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Here we go. Real Housewives of Potomac. Well,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Karen Matt Monique for lunch to tell her that the
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: girls were going on a trip to Portugal and you're
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: not invited it like dang, yeah. Monique was like, that's
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: not cool. She was trying to play it off, Shirley,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: but her feelings feel they were hurt. Yeah, they were hurt. Anyway,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Monique is you know, she kind of looking at Karen though.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: You need to pick a team. Pick a team. You
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: want my team, Team Monique, or you want team Candice.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: You know, still issues, Yeah, she won't. She's playing in
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: the middle. Still issues from that fight. Anyway, the ladies
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: arrived in Portugal and Ashley is sad. She's kind of
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: missing her baby and she was upset that her husband,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Michael got home late, you know, to relieve the babysitter.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: He was like ten minutes late, but she was upset
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: about that. But you know, he got caught cheating. Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: so I think that's where. Yeah, she was really trying
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: to figure out where have you been and why were
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you late? But he really was only ten minutes. Like
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: moving on, Karon feels like Gieselle isn't everyone's business, but
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: she never brings her man, pastor Jamal Bryant to the group,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: And yeah, and she's true. Karen does have a point there,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and Gazelle's girl, Robbin, agreed with Karen. And Robin was like, hey,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: you know, we bring our men around, Our men come
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to the group and hang out. What's up with your men?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: And you know, Gazelle was looking at Robin like wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you want my team no matter what, no matter what,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: you ride with me, but Robin had her own opinion
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and that when I move, you move just like that. Okay, hey, DJ,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: bring that back. But anyway, Jazelle got tired of Karen
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: saying that Pastor Jamal Brian is not around the group,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: so she facetimed him at the lunch table. They were
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: at a restaurant in Portugal, and she FaceTime Pastor Jamal
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: so he could say hey to the ladies or whatever.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: So we will keep you posted on what's gonna happen
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: next week. While don't get in it, JB. Stay out
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: to what you're doing for the law and keep it moving.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Pimp telling you getting that reality show it's gonna be
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: a mess. And then keeping up with the Kardashians. Moving
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: on Chloe. The latest episode, Chloe had COVID. She was
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: battling COVID nineteen. She was quarantine in her house for
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: you know, a long time. She was really, really sick.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You know, Chris was concerned and she couldn't take care
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: of her mom. And this is kind of like when
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the pandemic first happened, you know, in early spring. And
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: so you got to see the Kardashians in each of
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: the family, the sisters what they were going through, and
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Kim Kardashians said, being home with her kids, four kids,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: it was too much and her kids were getting on
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: her nerves. And that's a real moment, a miracle, Ryan,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you were not a bad parent. Voice that, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I didn't like my kids in hell and they've grown.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: That don't make you a bad parent? Shot up quick
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: calling me what Kim was like? Damn, you act like
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: you know everything else any other time. What's wrong? Now?
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Are we talking about Kim? Are you yeah? Kill Yeah? Right, Steve.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: And finally, let's get back to the Real Housewives of

- 1:15:55Speaker 1: can I say something with this? Thirty seconds? Hats off
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to the Family Feud team and to Tyler Parry Studios.

- 1:16:35Speaker 1: former Google executive and president of a San Francisco Bay
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: area school district has stepped down after his wife made
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: vulgar comments about Kamala Harris on Twitter, alleging she is
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: only qualified for office because she's a black woman. His
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: name is John van Verlo. He resigned on Sunday as
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: president of the last Lamidi's Elementary School district in Menlo Park,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: stating he needed to focus on his family. His wife, Meredith, meanwhile,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: had tweeted about VP elect Kamela Harris, saying all she
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: needs to be qualified is a black pe Why. Yeah,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: no brain needed, no brain needed. Yeah yeah, a woman
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: has more brains than you will ever imagine. She's Afish,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: more than you ever have. And I did some research
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: on this woman. She was a former youth pastor. This woman,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: this vulgar. Yeah. Yeah, she's the head of the Venoy
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: whatever their last name is, Family Fun, which is nothing.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: That's just a title. That's it. But her apology, Steve,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: what about her apology? Because she hadn't taken her medicine?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Right when you when you don't take your medicine? Racist,

- 1:18:46Speaker 1: few years when I was single. She brought this guy tall,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: a handsome guy, really cute. Right, so stepped outside of
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: myself a little bit, went rogue, flirted with him, talking
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to him, you know this is my house, foods over there,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: blah blah blah, go and get you. He never said
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: one word. Finally he looked at me and said, you
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: have a little piece of spinach right right there on
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: your teeth. Just just embarrassed beyond words, right, just embarrassed
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: beyond roads. That was my going rogue story. Good news
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: is look at me now, same friend introduced me to
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: my current husband, and we're happy. We're happy. We're happy.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Wild though, to tell you the spinish cause when the dude,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: when it's food and your teeth, we gotta make sure
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: it ain't a cavity. First he was cutting it. If
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you call it spinish, and it ain't. No, no, that's
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the color of my tooth. That the gay. Right after that,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't got my teeth whitened. All of that. You know,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: I love my dentist. But anyway, check out the all
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: new twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue. Nissan Rogue. It's a
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: great car. You'll love it. You will. And she me
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: and you, Shelly, we got the same Dennis. You love
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: him and I had it and he loves you so much.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: He always asked about you. I don't even know why
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: he talked to me. I cutched him out so bad
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: last time I was see. Oh man, he don't have
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: no gas. He had that drill. You need mo mo
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: gas and mo nocin. I need all that. Now do
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: you need all that just to get a cleaning? Oh? Yeah,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: he need a period on a check up. Just a
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: check up. He needs, I mean a basic six month cleaning.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: And if you hear me gagging, take your hand out
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: my damn mouth. Man, No, I grab your n I
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: grab your hand, I help you. I kind of that
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: with me. Yeah, And he said, man, thank you so much,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Miss Harvey. He was so much better. She says, Steve,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you got to quit cussing that people that's trying to
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: help you. Okay, Hurting and helping don't sound like it
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: to go together. All right? Coming up our last break
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from the one
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. After this you're listening to all
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: right here we are last break of the day on
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: this Thursday, and we can say it again, what a day,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: What a day? Yeah. My closing remarks today, y'all, is
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: going to be a couple of things. First of all,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about this vote that's
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: coming up in Georgia, where I happen to live. This
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: is very very important. Now we've proven something to ourselves.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: We actually saw it play out in real time as
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: the polls clothes and the vote got counted. We saw
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: in real time that it was down to Detroit. We
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: saw in real time that it was down to Philadelphia.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: We saw in real time that it was down to Atlanta,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: and in all three of those cities. The vote in
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: those urban dwelled dwelling areas, those urban residents they called it,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: which is black. We prevailed, I'll vote counted, I'll vote mattered,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and I'll vote reflected, and caused a change in this election.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: He was winning in all of those states until they
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: came to us and voted. Now, listen to me, when
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you when seventy five million people vote, it's not just
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: black people voting. Well, we're not saying that it was
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: a lot of people. A lot of Native Americans voted,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: a lot of Latinos voted, a lot of whites voted.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: There's not seventy five million black people in the United States.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: So hats off to those non people that weren't black.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'm not crediting your vote at all. Don't think that's
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: what I'm doing. I'm trying to encourage the black vote
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: to continue because for so long the black vote has
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: been taught and thought of amongst ourselves that it didn't
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: matter what we saw it play out in real time
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to where y'all it matters, and you saw it in
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: real time. Keep looking. They still counting in Philly. Do
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: you know that this man is over fifty thousand ahead
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: of this man now? And you know what, they still
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: counting Philly and Pittsburgh. Do you understand that they are
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: still counting in Georgia and we are fourteen thousand up.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: You know what they still counting Atlanta, decalb Fulton. Do
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you understand that's us Detroit ran them out to Gymman
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: in Wound, k Wayne County. Our vote matters now in
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: this Georgia election. We have a real obligation here because
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: we have two candidates, ass Off and Warnick, Raphael Warnick
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: and ass Off. We have to get to the poll
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: and make this count again. And we have the numbers
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to do it, but we got to go. And like
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I was calling on black men before, we have to
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: do better. Now we showed up. A lot of brothers
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: showed up. That ain't what I'm saying, but the but
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: for those who didn't. In the words of Offset, he
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: felt like he was a part of something. Be a
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: part of this. We are going to finish this job,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and we are going to send Donald Trump a parting gift.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Not only are you leaving the White House, you're gonna
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: take them two cented seats with you. That's our goal.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Simply put it and and and look, man, it was
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: a lot of people voted against him, a lot of
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: non African Americans, soul, I appreciate it. I think it's
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: only don't hold me to this number. But the last
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: time I read about it, it was thirty five some
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: million black people in this country. Seventy five million people
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: voted him out. All black people can't vote because we're
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: not of age. So the thirty five million, it's even
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: we played a major role. We can do it again.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Now that's my vote. We've got to go. We have
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: a short time to register, but we got to vote.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: We got to vote. We're gonna keep talking about this
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: runoff is gonna go in our behalf. Now, this second
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: part of my closer remarks is inspirational. I want all
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: of you today now, this is not for negative people.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: This is for regular, everyday people as out here work
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: and trying to become successful in trying to be happy.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I know you have dark moments in your quest for
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: success and for happiness. We all do. We all have
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: dark moments, dark seasons, dark periods. We have bad days.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: I got it. But I want to tell you something
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: to help you do something that I was talking to
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: the Morning Shore about this morning. I want all of
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you today to take inventory. I want everybody to just
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: think back on twenty major events in your life. Your
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: first child, your first time going to school, your first car,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the first time you got fired, your first time you
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: got a job, your first marriage, your first divorce, whatever
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: it is. Think of twenty major events in your life.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Think of them, write them down if you have to,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: but go them carefully. And once you do that, what
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: that does is it shows you something. It shows you
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: that God has been with you the entire time. Because
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I'm sure in some of those major events and decisions
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: that you had to make that were sometimes where you
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: felt like, man, I'm not gonna make it, or man,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I don't have an answer for this, or man, I
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: don't see no way out. But can I tell you something.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: God was with you the entire time. See all of
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: those moments, whether you think of that's been major in
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: your life, those twenty and if you're old enough, you
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: got way more than twenty. I have like several thousand
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: of those moments. I really do, but I'm just asking
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: you to look up twenty of them, right, And so
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: when you do this, it causes you and lets you
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: know that not only was God with you, but he
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: was capable of seeing you through because of every bad
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: day and every bad moment, every critical decision, every misstep
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: that you've made, you have survived every single one of those.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: Your track record for surviving bad days is one. So listen,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: moving forward, we have the evidence from our life existence,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: from taking inventory. We have everdence that God is good.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: We have evidence that he is real, and we have
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: evidence that He is ever president. Don't you doubt it
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: or think for one minute that God has ever left
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: your side, because even when you didn't call on him,
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: he got you through it. Even when you didn't particularly
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: asked him, because he had a plan for you. He
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: kept you anyway. He gave you this, this unpurchasable thing
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: called grace. He gave it to you. Man, He gave
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: us awesome grace. He gonna get us through this. He
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: gonna get us through this. This ignorant message is happening
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: in the White House. You can't just make a decision
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: that you're not gonna leave, You're not gonna participate. So
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: what so what he's not participated. Quit letting that trip
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: you out. He got to go. Just like everything else.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: God has been good the entire time, and he'll bid
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: for the rest of the time. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: And if you take inventory, you have proof. I'm good.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Donald Trump included I'm good. For all Steve ivery contests,
