- 0:39Speaker 1: join Jo. You gotta use that turn you you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn out turn. You got to turn them
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn turn the water the water got come
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come on your tha Uh huh, I shore will good
- 2:04Speaker 1: marded everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now wanted all it's Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well all right, I've learned something and it's sharing time.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 2:27Speaker 1: all that he allows me to learn in my life.
- 2:32Speaker 1: One of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 2:39Speaker 1: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 2:45Speaker 1: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say
- 2:49Speaker 1: is in every challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned
- 2:57Speaker 1: something so so valuable. So here's what I've You know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 3:06Speaker 1: different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more. Now.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 3:25Speaker 1: and just as he really is. He really is. He's
- 3:28Speaker 1: a fair and a just God. What's most beneficial to
- 3:32Speaker 1: us is he happens to be full of mercy and grace.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from
- 3:45Speaker 1: his grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:58Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not hearing this position today. I'm just not.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But a funny thing has happened along the way, even
- 4:11Speaker 1: to you. If you look at it, is it your
- 4:15Speaker 1: genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to you
- 4:20Speaker 1: having more for your continued blessings and for making room
- 4:27Speaker 1: for having to open up and pour out blessings that
- 4:29Speaker 1: you don't have room enough to receive. If you look
- 4:32Speaker 1: at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:42Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through when
- 4:57Speaker 1: it hide made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing
- 5:06Speaker 1: suicide is they leave the God out of their life
- 5:10Speaker 1: and they start allowing that other voice to control. And
- 5:14Speaker 1: if it's really true that God never puts more on
- 5:16Speaker 1: you than you can bear, as long as you stay
- 5:19Speaker 1: connected to God, you can get through anything. But you
- 5:23Speaker 1: lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that
- 5:29Speaker 1: relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with Now it ain't
- 5:39Speaker 1: but two forces at work at all time. It's good
- 5:43Speaker 1: and evil. It's positive and negative. It's God, it's Satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negative
- 6:00Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:04Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:09Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:22Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's a fact. Okay, Now with that fact in mind,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:31Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:36Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:40Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:49Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some most stuff to complain about.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:58Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:01Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:06Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:09Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:12Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:15Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude. Because it's the key to
- 7:22Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:26Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:29Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:41Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum. I mean, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:03Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:06Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had begun
- 8:11Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:16Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part
- 8:21Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy. You know, I asked
- 8:24Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:27Speaker 1: for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:34Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:58Speaker 1: this busy and used the fact that what all comes
- 9:01Speaker 1: along with it, because to whom much is given, much
- 9:04Speaker 1: is required. You got to start embracing the requirement part
- 9:09Speaker 1: if you want to continue with the giving part. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: I changed my attitude. I caught myself and I started
- 9:15Speaker 1: thinking him and showing real gratitude for how busy I
- 9:18Speaker 1: was instead of complaining about how busy I was. And
- 9:20Speaker 1: then guess what, It opened up the windows of heaven
- 9:23Speaker 1: and some more blessings got poured out. It just works
- 9:26Speaker 1: that way all the time, for everybody, for me, for you,
- 9:30Speaker 1: for everybody. So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 9:35Speaker 1: is the key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 9:38Speaker 1: is the key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and
- 9:42Speaker 1: gratitude it's the only way that you can get those
- 9:46Speaker 1: windows of heaven to open up and pour out to
- 9:48Speaker 1: these blessings that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You gotta act like you're glad for what you got
- 9:53Speaker 1: in order to get more. You feel me. Let's go,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, it is here, it is upon us.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It is a new day today, as the day that
- 10:07Speaker 1: the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad
- 10:10Speaker 1: in it. I'm starting it off glad already. Thank you,
- 10:14Speaker 1: Heavenly father. I show appreciate the ride, man, because to
- 10:17Speaker 1: ride up until now as bumpy, as rough, as difficult,
- 10:23Speaker 1: as challenging it has been, I want to thank you
- 10:27Speaker 1: for it. I have enjoyed it because the outcome, WHOA
- 10:31Speaker 1: been all right? I ain't like the route sometime, but
- 10:34Speaker 1: I show appreciate the ride. I did not understand the route,
- 10:40Speaker 1: but I do appreciate the destinations you'd that took me
- 10:44Speaker 1: to thank you. Now. If you'd told me I was
- 10:47Speaker 1: gonna have to take this route OUTA asked could I
- 10:50Speaker 1: sell tomatoes or something? But you didn't have to do it,
- 10:56Speaker 1: but you did, and for that I'm grateful. Shirley Strawberry,
- 11:00Speaker 1: whoa You just gotta trust him, Stevie. He gonna get
- 11:05Speaker 1: you there. Yeah. He gonna test you along the way.
- 11:10Speaker 1: He gonna set you up with some challenges. He gonna
- 11:13Speaker 1: see if you really mean it or not, but he
- 11:17Speaker 1: gonna eventually get you there. That's right, Good morning, Carlin
- 11:20Speaker 1: for Red. That's right. The journey, it's the journey the morning.
- 11:25Speaker 1: What's up, crew, Junior? You can't be grateful and depressed
- 11:30Speaker 1: at the same time. I know that it's impossible. If
- 11:36Speaker 1: you are depressed, name fifteen things that you're grateful for
- 11:41Speaker 1: and watch the depressing end you meet him right, because
- 11:48Speaker 1: gratitude is joy. Joy and depression cannot reside in the
- 11:54Speaker 1: same place. You can't be joyful and depressed at the
- 11:57Speaker 1: same time. Happy nephew Tommy in the building, Baby, I

- 17:15Speaker 1: it ain't always been saved now, Callie. You know, Lord
- 17:19Speaker 1: got to save you from something that's a man. I
- 17:22Speaker 1: remember the first I remember the first triple, the first,
- 17:28Speaker 1: very first one. Who was the first stripple? Bojangles? What
- 17:34Speaker 1: what bojangles for? He met white girl Shelly Temple. He
- 17:38Speaker 1: was a stripple, but I thought he was a very
- 17:40Speaker 1: respectable dancer. He was that they got saved. But before
- 17:44Speaker 1: that he was a stripple. He should work down up
- 17:48Speaker 1: to speak easy. Oh after I would join. I got
- 17:53Speaker 1: a strip of name, ermis place? Who a strip of name?
- 17:57Speaker 1: That was it? Bojangles? He just camped when he met
- 18:01Speaker 1: a little you don't move on all right, just a
- 18:10Speaker 1: little black history. It's been in the news lately about
- 18:16Speaker 1: old person smell. You know how some older people they
- 18:20Speaker 1: have a distinctive fragrance. We'll just say, because you know now,
- 18:27Speaker 1: there's a scientific explanation for it. Old people smell. So
- 18:32Speaker 1: I know what it is? Um, what is it? Will
- 18:34Speaker 1: you tell us your version where there's called near death. Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 1: that's why it has a little tang to it, you know,
- 18:44Speaker 1: just a little tang on old people, you know, well,
- 18:50Speaker 1: sister Odell. According to a study in the Journal of
- 18:53Speaker 1: Investigative Germatology, the old people smell is caused by a
- 18:57Speaker 1: chemical and the body call too nominal. Yeah, and there's
- 19:03Speaker 1: that ten yes, ma'am. Two nominal m No. Tunominal is
- 19:11Speaker 1: close to terminal. Oh, I just told you that down
- 19:16Speaker 1: it's tunominal. If your terminal you smell a certain way,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and there is some bad news to go with that.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The steady says it's an unavoidable part of aging, and
- 19:26Speaker 1: good hygiene does nothing to help that. I don't have that.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I never had, No, man, I've been smelling like carnation
- 19:34Speaker 1: milk since I was fourteen. I smelled just like carnation milk.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Open the can and then come over here by me.
- 19:45Speaker 1: This is fresh. Yeah, that's me milk. Okay, you know.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I got a friend of mine, she real clean team.
- 19:57Speaker 1: She smelled like Eagle brand. Oh sweet as she wanna be.
- 20:04Speaker 1: My grand baby smell just like Eagle brand milk. That's
- 20:07Speaker 1: a sweet. Then I got a grand baby. Smell like
- 20:10Speaker 1: Domino sugar. Then I got one baby. He eating meat,
- 20:18Speaker 1: started eating meat soon as he started cutting teeth. Really,
- 20:25Speaker 1: his little ass smell like hot garbage. Girl. He puts
- 20:30Speaker 1: some stuff in the dipper. You ain't, I'm telling you.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Man like his AT's been drinking. Hen husband appears. He
- 20:41Speaker 1: started using the bathroom on the shelf, and I left him. Oh, sister,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm this is gonna tell we gotta get out of here. Nephew,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Timmy's running that prank back is up next. Thank you, sister.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Oh you're listening coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Miss Anna standing by with today's national news and trending
- 21:00Speaker 1: entertainment news. Miko start Quevo and ex girlfriend now Sweetie
- 21:05Speaker 1: had an elevator altercation. It was caught on video. Also
- 21:08Speaker 1: in trending news, one of the Devil is wrong with
- 21:11Speaker 1: little NASAs. Oh my goodness, what man craziness right here.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Plus a President Biden's dog Major had another biding incident.
- 21:25Speaker 1: He talking about all of these stories. He got to go.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Your ass got to go now at the top of
- 21:30Speaker 1: the hour. Right now, the nephew is here to run
- 21:32Speaker 1: that Frank back. What you got for us? Ask this right?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Here is the voice paper. You and Steve know all
- 21:40Speaker 1: about this. Here the voice paced, Let's go. Hello. Hello, Yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I am trying to reach a Jones. Please. My name
- 21:49Speaker 1: is Attorney Guidry from the Fishing law firm. Is she available?
- 21:54Speaker 1: How are you doing? Man? I'm actually trying to get
- 21:56Speaker 1: some business rectified. Um, dealing with your divorce. It took place,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I guess over the last seven whole year. It's I correct, correct.
- 22:04Speaker 1: You guys had some property that you owned together, I
- 22:06Speaker 1: believe in Avondale, Am I correct? Correct? I'm looking at
- 22:10Speaker 1: your paperwork here, miss Jones. Okay, now we're getting down
- 22:15Speaker 1: to the property, and that seems to be where the
- 22:17Speaker 1: problem is lies. You sold it as you both went
- 22:20Speaker 1: and split your ways. Right. Um, Looking at the paperwork
- 22:24Speaker 1: that I have here, it seems like it was filled
- 22:27Speaker 1: out incorrectly. I don't know how seven years has passed
- 22:30Speaker 1: for this to come back and fall on my desk
- 22:33Speaker 1: to be to get rectified. But um, whatever the dividends
- 22:37Speaker 1: were that you guys took and shared that, you're now
- 22:42Speaker 1: looking as if you're owing mister Jones an additional eighteen
- 22:46Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Ma'am. I don't know. I hate to be
- 22:51Speaker 1: the bearer of bad news, but I wanted to bring
- 22:53Speaker 1: this information to you and see how we can get
- 22:55Speaker 1: it rectified. I'm not looking for you to have that
- 22:58Speaker 1: much money available at today, but I do know as
- 23:02Speaker 1: a as an attorney for mister Jones, I must say
- 23:05Speaker 1: that we're trying to get it taken care of as
- 23:06Speaker 1: soon as possible. A minute, back this up, how do
- 23:12Speaker 1: I owe him eighteen thousand? Reason? Well, the paperwork here, ma'am,
- 23:17Speaker 1: seems to be yeworks say. It wasn't supposed to be
- 23:21Speaker 1: fifty percent, fifty percent between you and what you are.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It should have been seventy five twenty five, and he'd
- 23:26Speaker 1: been seventy five percent of the property owed to him
- 23:29Speaker 1: and twenty five percent. I don't know how you know,
- 23:33Speaker 1: Louisa as a community to practicing, how could he get
- 23:35Speaker 1: seventy five percent and I get twenty five from my
- 23:39Speaker 1: understanding that he paid most of the bills when you
- 23:41Speaker 1: guys were living together. And I don't have anything to
- 23:44Speaker 1: do with that. No, he didn't pay most of the bills.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I work and contribute to right, and I understand that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: But if I understand from what I have here on
- 23:52Speaker 1: the paperwork, and I understand that you'd had some contribution
- 23:55Speaker 1: to it, but it just seems like you did not
- 23:58Speaker 1: contribute as much as he did. And yes, dude, I
- 24:01Speaker 1: never heard like this. I do apologize, man, But what
- 24:05Speaker 1: I do need you to do is definitely not use
- 24:07Speaker 1: that type of language while I'm on the phone. Okay, Well, look,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I don't really have to talk to you because I
- 24:12Speaker 1: know I don't know. I don't own no Johns, no
- 24:15Speaker 1: eighteen thousand dollars, and he didn't overpay me because it
- 24:18Speaker 1: was communitive property. I had two children for him. Definitely
- 24:22Speaker 1: none yet everything and there's no weight I'm going to
- 24:24Speaker 1: pay him. No eighteen thousand dollars, mam. I hate to
- 24:27Speaker 1: get a little up rough with you, but you are
- 24:29Speaker 1: going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars now, that's going
- 24:31Speaker 1: to happen. Now. If I have to garnish your check
- 24:34Speaker 1: and do it, then that's the way it will have
- 24:35Speaker 1: to be done. But the money will be coming to
- 24:38Speaker 1: mister kirk Jones in the sum of eighteen thousand. Call
- 24:41Speaker 1: it back at yeah. Look, don't you hang up on
- 24:44Speaker 1: me again. Now if I have to put a lean
- 24:46Speaker 1: on your property or put a lean on your which
- 24:48Speaker 1: one do you want? Look, and you don't talk to
- 24:51Speaker 1: me like set I talk to you anyway I want
- 24:53Speaker 1: to talk about because once I had to call that
- 24:56Speaker 1: all that was over with. You gotta pay eighteen thousand dollars.
- 25:00Speaker 1: That's what you're gonna do now. I don't want to
- 25:03Speaker 1: have to come to your house, ma'am to pick up
- 25:05Speaker 1: this money, but I will. I'm not working. I want
- 25:08Speaker 1: to know how tool I have to pay him eighteen dollars. See,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you're not working. That's our problem from the start. That's
- 25:14Speaker 1: why it wasn't fifty fifty. That's why it was seventy
- 25:16Speaker 1: five twenty five because you were not holding the I
- 25:19Speaker 1: work off through the upstairs. That made twenty six years
- 25:22Speaker 1: and I worked, Well, what is your butt doing now? Nothing? Well,
- 25:27Speaker 1: there we go. That seems to be the root of
- 25:29Speaker 1: our problem, isn't it. No, it ain't a ruler, no problem,
- 25:31Speaker 1: because I want to know how did Kirker get a
- 25:34Speaker 1: eighteen percent and wave that as a communitive property. He
- 25:38Speaker 1: has his lawyer and I had my lawyer. He agreed
- 25:41Speaker 1: to and I was dead, so I don't know how
- 25:43Speaker 1: I owe him eighteen thousand. Man. That's the way the
- 25:46Speaker 1: problem was. Evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you
- 25:49Speaker 1: signed when you and Kirk separated seven years ago. Now,
- 25:52Speaker 1: if you didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why
- 25:54Speaker 1: it comes back to bitching you. But oh no, it's
- 25:57Speaker 1: not because I had a lawyer and you had, yes,
- 26:00Speaker 1: a lawyer. We agree with that. That was back and forward,
- 26:04Speaker 1: and we agree with everything. He signed a paper and
- 26:06Speaker 1: now was dark. Well maybe you didn't have a lawyer.
- 26:08Speaker 1: That was worth for damn who didn't read the bottom
- 26:10Speaker 1: of the paperwork himself? And I had a lawyer. Thought
- 26:13Speaker 1: I had a good lawyer, and I understand that. Man,
- 26:16Speaker 1: when that happens a lot of a lot of time,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I can't believe that. And I had two children struggle
- 26:22Speaker 1: with him, and we got what we got by both
- 26:24Speaker 1: of us work, and this he gonna come back and an,
- 26:27Speaker 1: oh no, I'm gonna fight this. When can we expect
- 26:31Speaker 1: the payment starting to work on this eighteen thousand? I
- 26:34Speaker 1: don't know. Well. I mean I'm gonna have to get
- 26:36Speaker 1: a date or something where I can start getting five
- 26:39Speaker 1: hundred dollars from you per month or something like that. Yes,
- 26:43Speaker 1: five hundred of a month. I haven't worked. I was working,
- 26:46Speaker 1: and when you want to set it, I don't think
- 26:48Speaker 1: I should have to tell tell you all this because
- 26:50Speaker 1: I need to get talked to me a lawyer, because
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm not agreeing to anything, because I don't think that
- 26:56Speaker 1: it's not fair. I tell you give me a dead
- 27:00Speaker 1: because I'm gonna have to get me a lawyer't it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to keep my compos as an attorney, ma'am?
- 27:06Speaker 1: How do you have the writer? And I don't have
- 27:08Speaker 1: no faithful over there? You are? You have you remarried? No,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I haven't. Okay, you realize if I don't get the money,
- 27:16Speaker 1: then I don't get paid. Right, Listen, I'm gonna be
- 27:20Speaker 1: down in your area probably on Wednesday. Do you think
- 27:24Speaker 1: you and I can get together and probably talk about
- 27:26Speaker 1: this because I want to help you as much as
- 27:27Speaker 1: I can. Yeah, because I don't think it's fair to
- 27:30Speaker 1: me Wednesday wed I'm not I could be there. Well
- 27:34Speaker 1: you think that maybe? Yeah, you and I can get
- 27:36Speaker 1: together maybe and work something man, Yeah, because I know
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'm not. I mean, I cannot afford to pick Johnson
- 27:42Speaker 1: or eighteen hundred dollars, you know, took the house from
- 27:44Speaker 1: it for a little or nothing. And I'll tell you
- 27:47Speaker 1: what I'll do this. I won't. I won't tell mister
- 27:49Speaker 1: Jones anything but only on one condition. That's me, and
- 27:52Speaker 1: you've been able to work this thing out behind closed doors.
- 27:55Speaker 1: What you mean work is out? I mean work it out?
- 27:58Speaker 1: What do you mean? What do you think? I mean?
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't know. Tell me you know I'm dumb some
- 28:04Speaker 1: relations or something. Why would you want a relationship with men?
- 28:09Speaker 1: That relationship but just you know, maybe kind of kicking
- 28:13Speaker 1: take care you what way I'm dumb? I don't know.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about life. I think you know
- 28:19Speaker 1: a whole lot about life, But why it is you
- 28:23Speaker 1: mess with me. I just want to see if we
- 28:25Speaker 1: can maybe get together. I'll throw all the paperwork out
- 28:28Speaker 1: and I let no, it's not possible. But you meet
- 28:32Speaker 1: me Wednesday. I make this thing go away. I don't believe.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I'll tell you what else. You ain't gonna believe what
- 28:39Speaker 1: this is. Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey More Than Show.
- 28:41Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your sister Janis. You know good.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I got Janis on the phone. I got her, I
- 28:54Speaker 1: got her grand baby on the phone. You just got
- 28:59Speaker 1: by the whole family. All right, Thank you, nephew. Coming
- 29:11Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Entertainment and National
- 29:13Speaker 1: news right after this, you're listening to the show. Well, guys.
- 29:22Speaker 1: In today's entertainment news, surveillance footage has leaked showing a
- 29:27Speaker 1: physical altercation between Quevo and Sweetie right before their breakup.
- 29:32Speaker 1: TMZ reports that it all went down in the elevator
- 29:35Speaker 1: of a North Hollywood apartment complex where she was living.
- 29:39Speaker 1: The clip shows are two standing outside the elevator before
- 29:42Speaker 1: she starts swinging on him to wind up scuffling that
- 29:47Speaker 1: they wind up scuffling over an orange Call of Duty suitcase,
- 29:51Speaker 1: which leads him to grabbing her arm and swinging her
- 29:55Speaker 1: into the elevator wall. She wound up falling on the
- 29:59Speaker 1: floor while Quevo looks down at her. This altercation happened
- 30:04Speaker 1: last year, months before they publicly announced they're split, So
- 30:09Speaker 1: now we're kind of into why the big breakup happened. Yeah, no, man,
- 30:17Speaker 1: I just wish that I wish I could I look, look, look, look, look.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I know nowadays that people say, hey, look, you know,
- 30:24Speaker 1: don't put your hands I strongly suggest to young women nowadays,
- 30:30Speaker 1: do not put your hands on these young dudes because
- 30:33Speaker 1: they are not raised this way anymore. So young women,
- 30:38Speaker 1: please don't swing on these dudes because they're not from
- 30:42Speaker 1: the same school of don't hit women. Let a woman go. Now,
- 30:48Speaker 1: let me say this to young men. I noticed sound corny,
- 30:51Speaker 1: y'all think Uncle Steve always on one. But it is
- 30:55Speaker 1: your duty as a man never to strike a woman.
- 31:00Speaker 1: It is your It is your obligation as a man
- 31:04Speaker 1: to walk away, Go, get in your car, take the slap,
- 31:08Speaker 1: turn around, walk off. You're man enough for that, because
- 31:11Speaker 1: it's too much for you to retaliate on these women
- 31:14Speaker 1: and it's no call for because it's it's overwhelmingly overmatched
- 31:18Speaker 1: most of the time. So brothers, walk away. I don't
- 31:22Speaker 1: care if she's slap you, throw something at you. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: know you're mad, Go get in your car. Less some
- 31:29Speaker 1: time pass, but please, brothers, don't hit these women. And
- 31:34Speaker 1: now to young women out there today, please do not
- 31:38Speaker 1: hit these young guys because they are not raised the
- 31:42Speaker 1: same way that used to be a cold I mean, man,
- 31:46Speaker 1: we would jump on you if we found out if
- 31:51Speaker 1: it's no way at our school. You if you're a
- 31:56Speaker 1: dude and you hit a girl and we see you
- 31:59Speaker 1: push your any thing, Hold on, man, what you're doing.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I don't care if she take a garbage can lead
- 32:04Speaker 1: and slap you in the face with it. You can't
- 32:07Speaker 1: do that to her. And I mean man, we went
- 32:11Speaker 1: to her to fist. I know you, man, but hold up, partner,
- 32:14Speaker 1: you can't hit this girl. That's the error were thrown.
- 32:17Speaker 1: That error gone. There's still some good dudes out there,
- 32:19Speaker 1: but I recommend to you avoid. Thank you Steve for
- 32:25Speaker 1: saying that we're gonna switch gears and other entertainment news.
- 32:29Speaker 1: While President Biden's dog Major is back in the dog
- 32:33Speaker 1: House again after a new biting incident at the While
- 32:40Speaker 1: on his walk, Major bit somebody and that person was
- 32:44Speaker 1: treated for injuries, but then return to work. Both the
- 32:47Speaker 1: President Biden's dogs, both Major and Champ, just got back
- 32:52Speaker 1: to the White House, remember they well you're there. They
- 32:54Speaker 1: had to lead. But if you keep biting human being,
- 33:00Speaker 1: you got to go. That's what they do, I'm telling
- 33:03Speaker 1: you right now. But it's the President's dog. It ain't
- 33:06Speaker 1: gonna happen. Well, let's at least let him by Trump
- 33:08Speaker 1: Foy leave. Let let him by Trump leave. But that
- 33:13Speaker 1: was just can we get him around there, just to
- 33:15Speaker 1: get one take him down to my logo and let
- 33:17Speaker 1: him work through it. Oh that's yeah, yeah, miss Anne.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Trip and good morning everybody. This is an trip, okay.
- 33:31Speaker 1: On day two of the Derek Chauvin George Floyd murder trial,
- 33:34Speaker 1: the prosecutor yesterday focused on witnesses to the killing. A
- 33:37Speaker 1: security guard and mixed martial artist named Donald Williams continued
- 33:41Speaker 1: his testimony from the day before, saying he watched Derek
- 33:44Speaker 1: Chauvin reposition his knee a lot to keep mister Floyd's
- 33:47Speaker 1: neck under the most pressure, and he knew that to
- 33:50Speaker 1: be a deadly move called a blood choke. In fact,
- 33:52Speaker 1: mister Williams said he called the cops on the cops
- 33:55Speaker 1: that day to report a murder. After that, in Minneapolis
- 33:58Speaker 1: firefire named Genevieve and said she was off duty and
- 34:01Speaker 1: offered to help, but one of the three officers at
- 34:04Speaker 1: the side essentially told her to scram He was being restrained,
- 34:07Speaker 1: but he wasn't moving. Officers show Ben seemed very comfortable
- 34:11Speaker 1: with the majority of his weight balanced on top of
- 34:16Speaker 1: mister Floyd's neck, and my memory, he had his hand
- 34:20Speaker 1: in his pocket. He looked so comfortable. Had they let
- 34:24Speaker 1: me into the scene, I would have wanted someone to
- 34:26Speaker 1: call nine one one for the paramedics and fire to come.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I would have been worried about his spinal cord injury
- 34:35Speaker 1: because he had so much weight on his neck. And
- 34:37Speaker 1: Hanson told the court that she saw a quote multiple
- 34:39Speaker 1: officers leaning over mister Floyd's body and pressing the majority
- 34:43Speaker 1: of their full weight onto him too. That would have
- 34:45Speaker 1: been on the other side of the car. The dispatcher
- 34:48Speaker 1: who sent out the call that day. She says she
- 34:50Speaker 1: watched what was happening on a live feed and she
- 34:52Speaker 1: was so disturbed by what she saw that she alerted
- 34:55Speaker 1: her supervisor and the then seventeen year old Darnella Frasier.
- 34:59Speaker 1: The young lady the video, told the court what she
- 35:02Speaker 1: saw and felt that day. I heard George Floyd saying,
- 35:07Speaker 1: I can't breathe, Please get off of me. I can't breathe.
- 35:11Speaker 1: He cried for his mom. He was in pain. It
- 35:14Speaker 1: seemed like he knew. Seemed like he knew it was
- 35:17Speaker 1: good for him. By the way, the X cop is
- 35:20Speaker 1: getting some hefty financial assistance from a state police group.
- 35:22Speaker 1: The Minneapolis Police and Peace Office Association's Legal Defense Fund,
- 35:26Speaker 1: according to USA Today, is paying for up to a
- 35:28Speaker 1: dozen other attorneys who are working on Derek Chauvin's behalf
- 35:32Speaker 1: behind the scenes. Derek Chauvin fired from the force only
- 35:35Speaker 1: one day after the chief of police saw that nine
- 35:37Speaker 1: minute video scene round the world. Doctor Derek Burkes, who
- 35:41Speaker 1: headed up Donald Trump's coronavirus Task Force, tell CNN that
- 35:44Speaker 1: the Trump administration's late and inadequate pandemic response may have
- 35:48Speaker 1: costed as many as four hundred thousand American lives and
- 35:51Speaker 1: the Library Congress preserving what it says is the sound
- 35:53Speaker 1: of American history, adding twenty five new entries, pieces of
- 35:57Speaker 1: Kermit the Frog to cool the gang celebrate. That's right,
- 36:00Speaker 1: So all India, now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:03Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show. Okay, here's the question of
- 36:09Speaker 1: the day, possibly of the week, month, year. One of
- 36:12Speaker 1: the devil is going on with little Nasax. Seriously, I
- 36:16Speaker 1: don't know yet that commercial. Have you seen these Satan
- 36:21Speaker 1: shoes that he's selling. Yeah, and he's you know, the
- 36:27Speaker 1: company that he's working with is being sued by nike
- 36:31Speaker 1: UM over the modified air MAAX ninety seven. Get the
- 36:35Speaker 1: number now, All six hundred and sixty six pairs of
- 36:40Speaker 1: the custom shoes sold out yesterday for over one thousand dollars.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, man, I wouldn't have been nowhere,
- 36:48Speaker 1: Neil No, that's number six six six. And they got
- 36:52Speaker 1: blood and the soldiery and they got that satanic pentagon
- 36:57Speaker 1: top as a tam and they sold all six hundred
- 37:01Speaker 1: and sixty six pair. And you know, man, young people, man,
- 37:04Speaker 1: we just saw they're so misguided. Man. This little dude
- 37:09Speaker 1: right here now, I just I didn't know this until
- 37:12Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago. This is the same dude
- 37:14Speaker 1: that did do big hit song I'm on the take.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Ye I took it out my phone. I took out
- 37:23Speaker 1: my phone and I saw it. Well, you know, man,
- 37:25Speaker 1: and he kind of went his little video where he
- 37:28Speaker 1: on the stripple pole and everything and all this and
- 37:31Speaker 1: he goes to hell. I mean, you know, man, he
- 37:33Speaker 1: don't lap dance with the devil. Yeah. Yeah. And the
- 37:38Speaker 1: shoes also have a Bible verse on U on the shoe.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, man, don't play with this. Keep them
- 37:49Speaker 1: shoes off your feet. Okay. They they're sold out, Steve,
- 37:54Speaker 1: they're sold out. None got Satan name dog dog little
- 38:00Speaker 1: clear part of the soul got blooded it. Yeah. But
- 38:04Speaker 1: you know who's cool with all of this stuff. The
- 38:07Speaker 1: Church of Satan. They probably bought the majority of shoes. Yeah.
- 38:11Speaker 1: They like the Satan sneakers. Uh. They say the shoes
- 38:16Speaker 1: embraced the essence of Satanism, which apparently includes being your
- 38:21Speaker 1: true self, living life to the fullest, and personal achievement. Yeah.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Well I do all that as a Christian master. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: don't even try it with that. So put in that
- 38:30Speaker 1: going the hill too. So, yeah, you're leaving out that
- 38:33Speaker 1: part right there after you live your life to the
- 38:36Speaker 1: fullest and do what you want to do. Bring your
- 38:38Speaker 1: head right on down the hill. Ye hey man, people
- 38:43Speaker 1: listen to me. Talk to your young people. Don't let
- 38:46Speaker 1: young people get it. Oh it's just a shoe. Don't
- 38:49Speaker 1: get caught up in that. My kids ain't coming in
- 38:52Speaker 1: my house with these Satan's shoes. I'm telling it right now. Yeah,
- 38:59Speaker 1: they're about as to give you to buy. They sold out,
- 39:08Speaker 1: he'll shoes. If they make six they could they could
- 39:14Speaker 1: do five runs in them shoes and they'll sell out. Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:20Speaker 1: a quick round of asked the CLO. Right after this,
- 39:24Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show time now for
- 39:29Speaker 1: as the CLO's chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in
- 39:33Speaker 1: the building. Uh, Steve. This one is from Lisa and Athens, Georgia.
- 39:37Speaker 1: She says, I listen to your show online and I
- 39:40Speaker 1: want to tell you that your relationship advice has helped
- 39:42Speaker 1: me in my relationship with a wonderful black man I'm dating.
- 39:46Speaker 1: He's my best friend, a great lover, and he means
- 39:49Speaker 1: the world to me. There's just one issue that we
- 39:52Speaker 1: don't agree on. We've been together for seven months. And
- 39:55Speaker 1: I'm ready to meet his mother and his sister, but
- 39:58Speaker 1: he never invites me to his house when they visit him.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Do I press the issue or be patient? Well, I
- 40:05Speaker 1: mean he's not going to introduce you to him because
- 40:08Speaker 1: he decided if you'd one yet. Yeah, it's just so
- 40:12Speaker 1: I can't sugarcoat this thing for you. If he refuses
- 40:16Speaker 1: to introduce you to his mother right now, it's because
- 40:19Speaker 1: he's still deciding if you're the one or not. That's it, right,
- 40:25Speaker 1: It's all to him. It's nothing. There's no other reason.
- 40:28Speaker 1: When you the one, he's gonna introduce you to his mama.
- 40:30Speaker 1: When you ate to one, you'll never meet him. I'm
- 40:33Speaker 1: not taking you to meet my mama. The same thing
- 40:37Speaker 1: I've discovered with girls and their fathers. When you not
- 40:40Speaker 1: the one, they don't bring you to the daddy. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: and you know that because you're the daddy and they
- 40:47Speaker 1: know not to bring him to you. Is asked if
- 40:49Speaker 1: you want to all right? Moving on? This one's from
- 40:55Speaker 1: Mike and Fort Lee, New Jersey. He says, my wife
- 40:57Speaker 1: and I live in an apartment and we're newly I
- 41:00Speaker 1: handle my business in the bedroom regularly, and my wife
- 41:04Speaker 1: used to curse, talk, smack, and even yells sometimes while
- 41:07Speaker 1: we're intimate. It was a turn on for me, but
- 41:10Speaker 1: our neighbors started complaining. We got a letter from our
- 41:13Speaker 1: landlord stating that we can get evicted if we don't
- 41:17Speaker 1: quiet down. So now my wife doesn't make any noise
- 41:21Speaker 1: at all during sex. Does this mean she was faking it? No,
- 41:26Speaker 1: it means she's trying to stay in that damn upon.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Don't nobody want to get put out? Because your answer
- 41:32Speaker 1: is bringing it time. Nobody want to get put out
- 41:37Speaker 1: just cause you in here bringing it. Now you're still
- 41:41Speaker 1: bringing it. But y'all need somewhere to stay. You need shelter. Yea,
- 41:47Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. Shelter is way more
- 41:50Speaker 1: important than hauling out loud. If you do that one
- 41:56Speaker 1: more time, you're gonna get put out. You're out o work.
- 42:01Speaker 1: All your stuff is outside. Not a good look. I'll
- 42:08Speaker 1: be hauling in a pillowcase. I have a tube TX
- 42:15Speaker 1: tube socks stuck in. Mama. Who geriatric building is this?
- 42:22Speaker 1: And they live? Yeah? All right? Adrian and Cincinnati Clo says,
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm a twenty three year old married woman and I've
- 42:34Speaker 1: been married since I was eighteen. My husband is twenty five,
- 42:38Speaker 1: and he takes care of all of our household expenses,
- 42:41Speaker 1: and I'm supposed to cook daily and keep the house clean.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I've dreamed of having my children at a young age,
- 42:48Speaker 1: but my husband isn't ready for kids. He told me
- 42:52Speaker 1: that I need to learn to take care of a
- 42:53Speaker 1: house before I can raise children. I feel him getting
- 42:57Speaker 1: more and more controlling. How do I stop this? It
- 43:02Speaker 1: ain't but one sure fire way to stop it. But
- 43:05Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a deal break or not.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But you have a say so in your life. I
- 43:10Speaker 1: don't know why. He can only be controlling if you
- 43:13Speaker 1: allow it. A man can't control you if you don't
- 43:16Speaker 1: allow him to control you. Now you are obviously he
- 43:20Speaker 1: ain't ready for kids, and you dreamed of having it.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Y'all didn't discuss it. You've been married since you eighteen,
- 43:25Speaker 1: you're twenty three, But he didn't told you you can't
- 43:28Speaker 1: have on kids you learn how to clean house. What
- 43:30Speaker 1: the hell I got to do with cleaning house? What
- 43:32Speaker 1: does child reary have to do with house cleaning? Yeah? No, no, no, no,
- 43:40Speaker 1: no no no. See he running game. He trying to
- 43:44Speaker 1: make that an issue. You know, the house because he
- 43:49Speaker 1: doesn't want kids. Hey, listen to me, you know, yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 1: I would just tell him, Hey, look I want somebody
- 43:56Speaker 1: to want kids by yeah, change, yeah, watch this hill.
- 44:06Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Cello. Great advice is always coming up.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Next the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this.
- 44:13Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show coming up at the top
- 44:18Speaker 1: of the hour. Right about four minutes after. It's my

- 46:44Speaker 1: I don't. We pretty much have an opera relationship where
- 46:47Speaker 1: we kind of communicate and m I don't. I don't
- 46:50Speaker 1: know about Denise. Okay, dude, do your husband's last fold
- 46:56Speaker 1: digits on his phone is sixty eight twenty two? Yeah,

- 49:44Speaker 1: holding it for the lands two weeks. I've been holding it.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Ain't said nothing tithing me. Why are you holding it? Yeah?
- 49:53Speaker 1: The big call me what I was just when he
- 49:56Speaker 1: get it. Let me tell you something. I get up

- 54:32Speaker 1: You hear that buckle up, hold on tight. We got
- 54:35Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the Strawberry subject. His
- 54:39Speaker 1: body count is too high. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been
- 54:43Speaker 1: married two years to a man that is my everything.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Things were great for the past two years, but now
- 54:50Speaker 1: the marriage may be over. I found out that I'm
- 54:53Speaker 1: married to a prostitute a week ago. A week ago,
- 54:58Speaker 1: my husband and I want to purchase two new tires
- 55:00Speaker 1: for my car. My husband claimed he was testing out
- 55:03Speaker 1: the new tires and he sped out of the parking
- 55:06Speaker 1: lot and onto the service road. There was a policeman
- 55:10Speaker 1: on the lot, so he flashed his lights for my
- 55:12Speaker 1: husband to pull over. I thought my husband would get
- 55:15Speaker 1: a warning for speeding or a speeding ticket. The officer
- 55:19Speaker 1: ran my husband's driver's license and came back to our car.
- 55:22Speaker 1: He told my husband that he was going to let
- 55:25Speaker 1: him go and told him to be sure to complete
- 55:27Speaker 1: his community service and stay out of trouble. I just
- 55:30Speaker 1: knew this policeman had my husband confused with someone else.
- 55:34Speaker 1: But my husband hung his head and said thanks, and
- 55:37Speaker 1: he was sweating like crazy. I asked a million questions,
- 55:41Speaker 1: and my husband said it was time for him to
- 55:43Speaker 1: tell me a big secret. When we got home, he
- 55:46Speaker 1: fixed me a glass of wine and told me that
- 55:48Speaker 1: he was arrested for prostitution three years ago, and that
- 55:52Speaker 1: would have been right around the time we met. He
- 55:55Speaker 1: said he had regular clients, mostly older ladies, and he'd
- 55:58Speaker 1: been doing it since he was in college. He said
- 56:01Speaker 1: he got arrested at a hotel he usually met his
- 56:03Speaker 1: clients at. He was charged with prostitution in order to
- 56:07Speaker 1: pay a fine and do community service. He admitted that
- 56:11Speaker 1: he slept with almost thirty women and he's only twenty
- 56:14Speaker 1: nine years old. Would he have ever confessed if he
- 56:17Speaker 1: didn't get pulled over? What should I do? Now? Wow?
- 56:23Speaker 1: What do you want to do now? That is the question.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I mean, everyone has a past. Everyone has a pass,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and while it may not be being arrested for prostitution,
- 56:34Speaker 1: it could be a past dealing drugs in that life,
- 56:39Speaker 1: white collar crime, jail time from misdemeanors, etc. I mean,
- 56:43Speaker 1: the list could go on and on and on. And yes,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I know it sounds crazy, the prostitution thing, and it
- 56:49Speaker 1: is for sure, But no matter how and when he
- 56:52Speaker 1: told you, you know now he had to tell you.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I think in this case it was more that he
- 56:58Speaker 1: was embarrassed to tell you than anything. I think he
- 57:01Speaker 1: was more just embarrassed. So the question becomes, has he
- 57:06Speaker 1: left that old lifestyle? Has he left it behind? And
- 57:10Speaker 1: is he a good husband to you? Now? You said
- 57:13Speaker 1: two years ago you married a man that you're everything.
- 57:17Speaker 1: So does he treat you well? Or is he still
- 57:20Speaker 1: dibbling and dabbling in his past with these older ladies
- 57:24Speaker 1: and being a prostitute and all of that. That's what
- 57:26Speaker 1: you have to think about, and that's what you should
- 57:30Speaker 1: base your decision on about whether to stay or leave him.
- 57:34Speaker 1: You ask a question, what should what should you do? Now?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Those are the things you have to ask yourself. And again,
- 57:41Speaker 1: everyone has a past. Everyone has a past. I'm surprised
- 57:45Speaker 1: you don't know. Well, maybe, like I said, he was
- 57:48Speaker 1: just embarrassed to tell you that part about him. Steve well,
- 57:55Speaker 1: this latter right here is really nothing to get to accept.
- 57:58Speaker 1: The one thing you're and that your husband's body count
- 58:02Speaker 1: is too high. Because he got pulled over by the police,
- 58:06Speaker 1: his past resurfaced. The officer ran his driver's license, came
- 58:11Speaker 1: back to the car, told your husband he was gonna
- 58:14Speaker 1: let him go and be sure to complete his community
- 58:17Speaker 1: service and stay out of trouble. Now, it don't say
- 58:20Speaker 1: what you committing community service for him. Maybe I don't know.
- 58:25Speaker 1: He could, They probably know what it was for. But
- 58:29Speaker 1: just complete your community service and stay out of trouble. Now,
- 58:32Speaker 1: you thought it was a mistake, but your husband was sweating,
- 58:36Speaker 1: hung his head down. You asked a million questions, and
- 58:40Speaker 1: then your husband said he had a big secret for you,
- 58:43Speaker 1: got home, fixed your glass of wine. Told you he
- 58:47Speaker 1: was arrested from prostitution three years ago. That would have
- 58:51Speaker 1: been right around the time we met. Okay, I ain't
- 58:56Speaker 1: no big deal. Everybody, as Sureley has so eloquently explained,
- 59:01Speaker 1: everybody got a pass now, everybody, every you got one.
- 59:06Speaker 1: It's some stuff about He don't know everything about you.
- 59:09Speaker 1: He'll know everybody you've been with. But he was doing
- 59:13Speaker 1: some prostitution. Now, if he was just out there like
- 59:17Speaker 1: on sunset or something, just passing it out to anybody
- 59:20Speaker 1: and everybody. You have a problem. He was a jiggalo,
- 59:24Speaker 1: a male jiggalo. Now that that does make it a
- 59:28Speaker 1: little bit better. If that's he was just out on
- 59:30Speaker 1: the block doing everybody. He was a call service. He
- 59:33Speaker 1: was a jiggalo. It happens. It ain't that bad if
- 59:38Speaker 1: it was in his past. He loves you, surely said that.
- 59:43Speaker 1: He treats you. Well, what is the problem it is
- 59:47Speaker 1: in his past. He's paying for it. He didn't change
- 59:51Speaker 1: his ways. Now, if he's still prostitute, we have a problem. Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 1: But if he's not, and that was mostly older ladies,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: we'll see you saying only letter farty. They're still fine.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You don't understand he's twenty nine. They're still fine, all right,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: helping you, but it is me a lot though. It's
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: helping me a lot. Well. At part two of Steve's responds,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: coming up with twenty three minutes after the hour, right
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: after this you're listening show, All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject his body count
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: is too high. Well, this letter is easy to recap
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: because it's simple. Her husband had a secret. She didn't
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: know what the secret was until they were pulled over
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: by some police and the police said to him, I'm
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: gonna give you a warning. Just make sure you complete
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: your community service and stay out of trouble. She thought
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: they were talking to the wrong man. She asked a
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: million question. Finally he got home, made her a glass
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: of wine and said, I have a secret to tell you.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Sat down and told his wife three years ago he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: was arrested for prostitution. Now that is about the time
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: that they met, so they've gotten married since then. She
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: never knew this, and now this new news to her.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: It's devastating. The man was a prostitute and his clients
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: were older women, and he had been doing it since
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: he was in college. And he now twenty nine. Your
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: husband was a giggalo jigalo getting lonely. To come on, boy,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: now is this bad in his past? Everybody has a past.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Like I said before, he don't know everybody you've been with.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And don't go in there and tell him though. And
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: then you say in the letter, would he have ever
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: confessed if he didn't get pulled over? Now, hell no,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: he wouldn't. We went three more yields. No, Betty, Now

- 1:10:00Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Yesterday, during the second
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: day of the Derek Chauvin trial, the young witness, eighteen
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: year old Darnella Frasier, who recorded the video, testified that
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: when she looks at George Floyd, she looks at her dad,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: her brother, and her uncle and that could have been
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: one of them. She also said there was a firefighter
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: who came to the scene and asked to check Floyd's pulse,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: but the police officers would not let her pass. Frasier
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: also said that she was scared because she fret felt
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: threatened at the scene when an officer moved to take
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: out Mace. Wow. Yeah, I saw it yesterday at the trial. Yeah,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: it's it's compelling to watch, and then it's kind of
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: hard to watch the same. I'm gonna be honest with you,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I can't watch it. Yeah. It's because I don't. I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: don't want that anger all over again. I'm already in
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: a perpetual state of anger half the time, any damn way,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: because it's always something, man, Yeah, yeah, always something. And
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: so hey man, I'm just waiting on the on the
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: on the verdict, on the verdict. Yeah. Yeah, it's probably
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: gonna be three to four weeks on this trial and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: how the defense are trying to turn things around and
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: trying to say it was a bad area and a
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: bad neighborhood. And I love how attorney Crump, Dave, do
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you have that sound bite when Attorney Crump was saying
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: how they're gonna try to turn this around a bit
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: and talk about George Floyd's character. Yeah, always character. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: think we have some sound from Attorney Crump having a
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: press conference out there with civil rights attorney out in
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: media personality rever Now Sharpton. We're not asking for anything
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: extorting there, We're asking for equal jestice under the law,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: and news flash, breaking news. We expect in just a
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: few minutes you're gonna hear opening arguments and they're gonna
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: take the playbook out, Reverend Allen. They're gonna try to
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: assassinate the character of George Floyd for loaners. They're gonna
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: call your brother everything but a child of God, and
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: they're gonna talk about as much as they can about
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: his record. But his record isn't that issue. Because this
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: is the trial of Derek Chauvin. Breaking news, this is
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: the trial of Derek Chauvin. Let's talk about his record, right.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: You can hear the passion boy voice. You can hear it.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: You can hear it, you can hear it. And I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: mean even yesterday when they tried to say that he
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: died from heart problems and coronary problems and and all
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: of that. Yeah, Lord Jesus, if you take the air
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: from a healthy person, they're gonna die. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: If you take the air from mister Universe, he gonna die.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: He in pretty good shape. If you take the air
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: from one of the greatest track stars on the track today,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: he'll die. If you'll take the air from a world
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: class fighter, a boxer. If you if you strain his
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: esophagus for eight minutes and forty six six seconds. Now
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: it's nine twenty nine when they play, don't take that long.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: The reason the man last that long because he was black. Yeah,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: but you know we got to we we we got
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: to week nine nine. We're depending on how many minutes.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: The reason it lasted day forty seconds. It's cause of
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: who he was, his to live. He's overcoming everything, he's
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: overcoming his life. That's how you can be on his neck.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Fait forty seven. Take a regular ass person. I bet
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: it don't take that long to kill him. That's right, right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: So don't miss me with this here. Yeah, this is
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Ye don't convict this cop and
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: see what happened. I'm telling y'all right now, I'm telling you.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'm not calling for it, but I'm telling you if this,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: if you let this man off this hook and he
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: don't pay for killing this man, it's gonna be a
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: problem across this country. It ain't gonna just be up
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: there in that state, no, sud It's gonna be a
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: real problem. All right, all right, we'll be back with
