- 0:01Speaker 1: The auto pen is becoming a very big deal. You know,
- 0:03Speaker 1: the auto pen is becoming a big deal because it
- 0:06Speaker 1: seems like that maybe was the president whoever operated the
- 0:08Speaker 1: autopen The test was not so good either. In other words,
- 0:11Speaker 1: here are things going.
- 0:12Speaker 2: On that the public.
- 0:14Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Good Tuesday morning. Welcome, it is the forty seven Morning Update.
- 0:21Speaker 4: It's so nice to have you with us. And here
- 0:22Speaker 4: are the three big stories we're talking about today. First up,
- 0:26Speaker 4: more fallout from the potential cover up of the president's
- 0:30Speaker 4: medical condition, this time with cancer, and many doctors are
- 0:34Speaker 4: saying there's no way they just found out about this.
- 0:37Speaker 2: We'll give you those details in just a moment.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Also, James Coomy saying he was just going on a
- 0:43Speaker 4: walk with his wife on the beach and there really
- 0:46Speaker 4: shouldn't be a controversy of him calling for an essence
- 0:49Speaker 4: and assassination attempt against Donald Trump.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Well, is that story gonna work? We'll have his words
- 0:55Speaker 2: for you as well.
- 0:56Speaker 4: And if Democrats thought they were gonna get Donald Trump's administry.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Off the rails, they're wrong.
- 1:02Speaker 4: The American people are now backing Donald Trump at the
- 1:05Speaker 4: same level they were on the day he was inaugurated.
- 1:08Speaker 4: This after big news from a Middle East trip, the
- 1:11Speaker 4: trade and tariff.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Negotiations going extremely.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Well, and the President making it cleary securing the border.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Will have those details on those polls in just a moment.
- 1:20Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:25Speaker 4: The potential cover up continues, and many more questions are
- 1:28Speaker 4: being asked now about the cancer diagnosis of Joe Biden,
- 1:33Speaker 4: and in response to diagnosis and the ensuing discussions, President
- 1:37Speaker 4: Donald Trump expressed surprise that the public was not informed
- 1:41Speaker 4: earlier about Biden's condition, suggesting that the disease likely developed
- 1:46Speaker 4: over a long period. The present and his own words
- 1:50Speaker 4: at the White House.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And it takes a long time to get to that
- 1:53Speaker 1: situation now, I think to get to a stage nine.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I think that if you take a look, it's same
- 2:00Speaker 1: doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine, there was
- 2:04Speaker 1: nothing wrong with him. Well, he said, if it's the
- 2:07Speaker 1: same doctor he said, there was nothing wrong there. And
- 2:10Speaker 1: that's being proven to be a sad situation. And the
- 2:14Speaker 1: autopen is becoming a very big deal. You know, the
- 2:16Speaker 1: autopen is becoming a big deal, because it seems like
- 2:18Speaker 1: that maybe was the president who ever operated the autopen.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But when they say that that was not good, they also,
- 2:24Speaker 1: you know, you have to look and you have to
- 2:26Speaker 1: say that the test was done so good either. In
- 2:29Speaker 1: other words, there are things going on that the public
- 2:32Speaker 1: wasn't informed. And I think somebody's going to have to
- 2:34Speaker 1: speak to his doctor. If it's the same or even
- 2:36Speaker 1: if it's two separate doctors. Why wasn't the cognitive ability?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Why wasn't that discussed? And I think the doctor said
- 2:46Speaker 1: he's just fine.
- 2:47Speaker 4: And it's a fair question that everyone that's sane is asking,
- 2:51Speaker 4: can't trust them on the cognitive decline of Joe Biden?
- 2:54Speaker 4: And they were lying about that even before he was
- 2:56Speaker 4: actually elected, So why the hell should we trust him now?
- 3:00Speaker 2: But don't worry.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Democrats are now saying they want you to forget it all.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Hakim Jeffrey saying this about Democrats on Capitol Hill.
- 3:09Speaker 5: My expectation that President Biden is going to meet this
- 3:13Speaker 5: moment with the courage and resilience that he's consistently shown.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Seems to me entirely.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Inappropriate that at this moment in time, when President Biden
- 3:26Speaker 5: is dealing with a serious an aggressive form of cancer.
- 3:33Speaker 5: There are Republicans who are peddling conspiracy theories and want
- 3:37Speaker 5: us to look backward at a time when they actually
- 3:41Speaker 5: are taking health care away from the American people. No,
- 3:44Speaker 5: as House Democrats were going to look forward. They literally
- 3:49Speaker 5: are trying to take health care away from millions of
- 3:55Speaker 5: Americans at this very moment, in the dead of night.
- 4:00Speaker 5: And Republicans want to fan the flames of conspiracy theories
- 4:04Speaker 5: at this moment.
- 4:05Speaker 4: No, thank you, Democrats want to shut it all down.
- 4:09Speaker 4: It's entirely inappropriate for us to be discussing any of this,
- 4:12Speaker 4: and we're looking forward. Yes, I'm sure they are because
- 4:15Speaker 4: they don't want to have to answer many of the
- 4:18Speaker 4: tough questions that we're talking about right now. So how
- 4:21Speaker 4: long has the president actually had this cancer? And did
- 4:25Speaker 4: they conceal it from the American people knowing as a
- 4:29Speaker 4: candidate that Joe Biden was in fact dealing with a
- 4:32Speaker 4: serious form of cancer. Doctor Mark Sigeu on Fox News
- 4:36Speaker 4: Channel was asked the question about this cancer, and here's
- 4:39Speaker 4: what he said.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Hiding this both terrible possibilities.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Both terrible and on the notion that this could have
- 4:46Speaker 8: been hidden, I'm fascinated by doctor zik Emmanuel. He's saying
- 4:50Speaker 8: that this prostate cancer could have been there for a decade,
- 4:53Speaker 8: definitely had it as president. He did not develop this
- 4:55Speaker 8: in the last one hundred and two hundred days. He
- 4:57Speaker 8: had it while he was president. Zeka Manu is the
- 5:00Speaker 8: architect of Obamacare. Ze Commnuel's brother is Rama Manuel z
- 5:04Speaker 8: Commanuel was on President Biden's COVID team. Z Commanuel has
- 5:07Speaker 8: no incentive to say something that's not truthful here.
- 5:11Speaker 7: And z Commanuel happens to be an excellent oncologist. Politics aside,
- 5:16Speaker 7: you know, a lot of his politics I don't agree with,
- 5:18Speaker 7: but he's an excellent, excellent oncologist. He's at Penn and
- 5:22Speaker 7: he's saying that it's been there for a while. Even
- 5:24Speaker 7: an aggressive prostate cancer has been there for a while.
- 5:27Speaker 7: He clearly had this while he was president for years.
- 5:30Speaker 7: That's what Emmanuel saying. And he also made another point
- 5:33Speaker 7: which I agree with, which is the vast majority of
- 5:36Speaker 7: the time when you diagnose this, you diagnose it early,
- 5:39Speaker 7: not in some advanced stage where you're looking under a
- 5:41Speaker 7: microscope and it says glease in nine that's the worst.
- 5:45Speaker 7: That means that it's likely to spread, and it has spread,
- 5:47Speaker 7: and when it goes to the bone, very painful. So
- 5:50Speaker 7: we wish the president, the former president well, but it's
- 5:52Speaker 7: very disturbing the way this news is coming out.
- 5:54Speaker 2: There are two things that can be true.
- 5:56Speaker 4: We can pray for Joe Biden a speedy recovery, and
- 6:00Speaker 4: we can also talk about a massive cover up that
- 6:02Speaker 4: could have happened. And there are questions that need to
- 6:05Speaker 4: be answered. And there's still one big question lingering. If
- 6:09Speaker 4: Joe Biden wasn't the President of the United States of America,
- 6:12Speaker 4: then who was calling the shots in the White House?
- 6:15Speaker 4: And that is a question that Republicans must get the
- 6:18Speaker 4: answer to. Now, story number two, there's a man by
- 6:21Speaker 4: the name of James Comy. He's a former FBI director
- 6:24Speaker 4: and there's one thing that's very clear from his tenure,
- 6:27Speaker 4: and that was that he had a bullseye on Donald
- 6:29Speaker 4: Trump and anyone else around him. Well, now Senator Tom
- 6:33Speaker 4: Cotton is asking the FBI Director Cash Battel to investigate
- 6:38Speaker 4: everything James Comy did at the FBI. The Sentence Intelligence
- 6:43Speaker 4: Committee chairman has formally asked the FBI Director Cashpattel to
- 6:48Speaker 4: investigate James Comy after the disgrace. Ex FBI leader posted
- 6:53Speaker 4: a cryptic message of eighty six forty seven on social media,
- 6:59Speaker 4: which was interpret it as a violent threat against President
- 7:02Speaker 4: Donald Trump. James Comy, who served as the FBI director
- 7:06Speaker 4: after being appointed by Barack Obama until he was fired
- 7:09Speaker 4: by Trump in twenty seventeen, took to Instagram on Thursday
- 7:13Speaker 4: to share a photo of seashells arranged that read eighty
- 7:17Speaker 4: six forty seven and yes. The number eighty six is
- 7:21Speaker 4: a common term used in the hospitality industry, as well
- 7:25Speaker 4: as in the military and intelligence communities, which can mean
- 7:29Speaker 4: canceling an order or to kill, murder, or execute judicially,
- 7:35Speaker 4: according to how it is used in the dictionary. Comy
- 7:38Speaker 4: deleted the post after receiving accusations that he was calling
- 7:42Speaker 4: for the assassination of the president, and issued a statement
- 7:46Speaker 4: which read this way quote. I posted earlier a picture
- 7:49Speaker 4: of some shells I saw today on a beach walk,
- 7:53Speaker 4: which I assumed were a political message. I didn't realize
- 7:58Speaker 4: some folks associated keyword. Some folks associated those numbers with violence.
- 8:03Speaker 4: It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of
- 8:07Speaker 4: any kind, so I took the post down.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Patel announced that he had been made aware of Komy's
- 8:13Speaker 4: suspicious posts, stating that his bureau is in communication with
- 8:17Speaker 4: a Secret Service and the director there, Sean Kuran, the
- 8:21Speaker 4: same man that was there protecting the President when that
- 8:24Speaker 4: assassin tried to take him out, shooting his ear. Primary
- 8:28Speaker 4: jurisdiction is the Secret Service on these matters, and we
- 8:32Speaker 4: the FBI, will provide all necessary support, Patel also said.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome, also confirming that the Department
- 8:41Speaker 4: of Homeland Security and the Secret Service are quote investigating
- 8:44Speaker 4: this threat and will respond appropriately now. The Director of
- 8:49Speaker 4: National Intelligence, Tolci Gabbert, also appeared on Fox News with
- 8:53Speaker 4: Jesse Waters to say that Komy should be put behind bars,
- 8:57Speaker 4: as she described it, for issuing a direct threat against
- 8:59Speaker 4: the president, and on Friday, that's when Senator Tom Cotton
- 9:03Speaker 4: sent a letter to Patel officially asking him to review
- 9:06Speaker 4: all FBI actions in which the former director Komy was
- 9:10Speaker 4: personally involved. Cotton's letter also went on to note that
- 9:14Speaker 4: Komy has quote politicized investigations, been at the center of leaks,
- 9:19Speaker 4: and obviously shown bias against the Trump administration and supporters.
- 9:24Speaker 4: The Intel Chair also brought up Trump's own response to
- 9:27Speaker 4: Komy's alarming Instagram posts, which he issued during a portion
- 9:31Speaker 4: of an interview that aired on Fox News. According to
- 9:34Speaker 4: the President, eighty six forty seven was a call for
- 9:37Speaker 4: an assassination, saying this, he.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Knew what that meant. A child knows what it meant.
- 9:44Speaker 4: If your FBI director and don't know what it meant,
- 9:48Speaker 4: that meant assassination. And it says it loud and clear.
- 9:51Speaker 4: He wasn't very competent, but competent enough to know what
- 9:55Speaker 4: that meant. He did it for a reason, and he
- 9:58Speaker 4: was hit so hard because people like me and like,
- 10:01Speaker 4: what is happening in this country? All this, he is
- 10:04Speaker 4: calling for the assassination of the President. Trump went on
- 10:07Speaker 4: to add this, I don't want to take a position
- 10:10Speaker 4: on it. It will be up to Panbondy and all
- 10:12Speaker 4: the great people. I will say, I think it's a
- 10:14Speaker 4: terrible thing when you add his history to that. If
- 10:18Speaker 4: you had a clean history, he doesn't. He's a dirty cop.
- 10:22Speaker 4: If he had a clean history, I could understand if
- 10:25Speaker 4: there were leniency, I will let them make that decision.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Cotton quoted the President and the letter to tell writing,
- 10:31Speaker 4: in the words of President Trump, he knew exactly what
- 10:33Speaker 4: it meant. The Center also commended the quick launch of
- 10:37Speaker 4: investigation by the Secret Service and thank the FBI for
- 10:40Speaker 4: also offering support. Now, you may not know why James
- 10:43Speaker 4: Comy may have actually posted this on social media. It
- 10:47Speaker 4: may be as simple as he actually just wanted to
- 10:49Speaker 4: sell a bunch of books, as one of his other
- 10:51Speaker 4: posts was about a new book coming out.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Well, James Comey was.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Forced to go on MSNBC to push out more state
- 10:58Speaker 4: sponsored propagate, and here is what he said about all
- 11:02Speaker 4: of this.
- 11:03Speaker 6: You were back in the middle of a political firestorm. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 6: for walking on the beach with my wife. So I
- 11:09Speaker 6: don't know how we ended up here. Never occurred to
- 11:11Speaker 6: me that it was.
- 11:12Speaker 4: By the way, I love how James Comy says he's
- 11:15Speaker 4: now being persecuted for walking along the beach with his wife,
- 11:19Speaker 4: and yet here we are.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And then he says, it never occurred to me was.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Any kind of controversial thing. But that's the time we
- 11:26Speaker 6: live in.
- 11:27Speaker 8: So take me back to the walk on the beach.
- 11:29Speaker 6: We were walking on the beach. We went to the
- 11:30Speaker 6: beach to prepare for this week, which was the launch
- 11:33Speaker 6: of my book, and to think about the book and
- 11:35Speaker 6: to prepare to ask answer questions about it. And we
- 11:38Speaker 6: were walking back towards the road and we saw in
- 11:40Speaker 6: the sand someone had arranged shells with numbers and Patrese
- 11:45Speaker 6: my wife said, why would someone put an address in
- 11:47Speaker 6: the sand? And I said, I don't know. And we
- 11:49Speaker 6: stood over it and I said, you know, I think
- 11:50Speaker 6: it's some kind of like political message, and she said,
- 11:53Speaker 6: you know eighty six. When I was a server, she
- 11:55Speaker 6: did a lot of working in restaurants. Meant to remove
- 11:57Speaker 6: an item from the menu when you ran out of ingredients.
- 12:00Speaker 6: And I said, well, to me, as a kid, it
- 12:02Speaker 6: always meant to leave a place to ditch a place.
- 12:04Speaker 6: I said, that's really clever. So then she said, you
- 12:06Speaker 6: shud take a picture of that, and I did, and
- 12:09Speaker 6: I posted it on my Instagram account and thought nothing
- 12:12Speaker 6: more of it until I heard through her that people
- 12:15Speaker 6: were saying it was some sort of a call for assassination,
- 12:18Speaker 6: which is crazy. But I took it down. Even if
- 12:21Speaker 6: I think it's crazy, I don't want to be associated
- 12:22Speaker 6: with violence of any kind.
- 12:25Speaker 4: At the end of the day, that's the story that
- 12:27Speaker 4: he's telling. It doesn't mean it's real. And this is
- 12:30Speaker 4: a guy that lies and hates Donald Trump. I don't
- 12:32Speaker 4: feel sorry, by the way, for James Comy. I think
- 12:34Speaker 4: he knew exactly what he was doing. And as Donald
- 12:37Speaker 4: Trump said, it'll be up to the great people beneath
- 12:39Speaker 4: him decide what happens next, and we'll keep you up.
- 12:42Speaker 7: Hit it.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And finally, story number three, there's one thing that is
- 12:46Speaker 4: for sure. Democrats are having a tough couple of weeks.
- 12:49Speaker 4: James Comy is under investigation. Now, there's a massive tell
- 12:53Speaker 4: all book talking about Joe Biden not actually being the
- 12:56Speaker 4: President of the United States of America, and Democrats who
- 12:59Speaker 4: are rawling behind the eighty six forty seven picture on
- 13:03Speaker 4: the beach.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It's not going well. But who is it going well for?
- 13:08Speaker 4: Where Four polls are now showing that Donald Trump has
- 13:11Speaker 4: a strong approval rating. That's right, coming off of last
- 13:15Speaker 4: week's trip to the Middle East, in his administration's recent
- 13:18Speaker 4: progress on trade agreements, it appears to have boosted the
- 13:22Speaker 4: perception among American voters, with four national polls now showing
- 13:25Speaker 4: Donald Trump's favorability rating above forty seven percent, consistent with
- 13:31Speaker 4: the levels following his inauguration. Polls released on Monday by
- 13:35Speaker 4: Morning consult Rasmussen and Harvard Harris showed Trump's approval ratings
- 13:40Speaker 4: at forty eight, forty nine, and forty seven, respectively, and
- 13:44Speaker 4: the Daily Mail poll release Sunday showed his approval rating
- 13:46Speaker 4: at actually fifty percent. Despite the doom and gloom headlines
- 13:50Speaker 4: from news organizations, the American people actually feel great about
- 13:55Speaker 4: the direction of the country. That's what the White House
- 13:58Speaker 4: had to say, and adding this what's to hate. We
- 14:01Speaker 4: are undoing the widely unpopular agenda of the previous office holder,
- 14:05Speaker 4: uprooting waste, fraud and abuse, and chugging along on the
- 14:09Speaker 4: great American comeback. The Daily Mail poll was conducted by
- 14:12Speaker 4: the Way May thirteenth and fourteenth, with a large sample
- 14:16Speaker 4: size of more than one thousand registered voters. Trump's approval
- 14:19Speaker 4: rating is up five percentage points from a poll taking
- 14:22Speaker 4: one hundred days into his second term nearly three weeks ago.
- 14:26Speaker 4: The most important thing this shows is that Trump can
- 14:29Speaker 4: bounce back when some of his voters waiver. Is what
- 14:32Speaker 4: James Johnson, the co founder of j L Partners, said,
- 14:36Speaker 4: People who were concerned about the sense of direction the
- 14:39Speaker 4: strength after tariff reversals are now back on board as
- 14:43Speaker 4: they see the president doing what they feel he does
- 14:45Speaker 4: best making deals. This, on top of the new news
- 14:49Speaker 4: that we may actually get an end of the war
- 14:51Speaker 4: with Ukraine and Russia that the President is brokering, will
- 14:54Speaker 4: only push his approval ratings higher.
