- 0:01Speaker 1: It is one of the best stories I've seen in
- 0:03Speaker 1: a while. It's one we all knew was happening. It
- 0:06Speaker 1: was pretty obvious. Show me the success where all the
- 0:10Speaker 1: millions and millions of dollars went to improve black lives
- 0:14Speaker 1: in many cities, Well, you cannot find it. What we
- 0:18Speaker 1: do know is the people that were running the organizations,
- 0:21Speaker 1: their lives were improving. And a perfect example of this
- 0:24Speaker 1: is now what we're seeing in Oklahoma City, where a
- 0:27Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter leader has been charged with wire fraud
- 0:32Speaker 1: money laundering in an alleged three point one five million
- 0:37Speaker 1: dollar embezzlement scheme.
- 0:40Speaker 2: The executive director.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Of Black Lives Matter Oklahoma charged with wire fraud and
- 0:45Speaker 1: money laundering after federal prosecutors say she diverted more than
- 0:49Speaker 1: three point one five million and returned bail checks into
- 0:54Speaker 1: her personal bank accounts over a five year period, according
- 0:59Speaker 1: to the indictment that was unsealed. I want you to
- 1:02Speaker 1: hear how the local news channel five KOCO in Oklahoma
- 1:07Speaker 1: City reported the story because the national news they're not
- 1:11Speaker 1: touching this with a ten foot poll all well known
- 1:15Speaker 1: activist in Oklahoma City charged with embezzling money meant for
- 1:20Speaker 1: Black lives Matter OKC.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Reverend Tee Sharia Moore. Dickerson is charged federally with wire
- 1:26Speaker 3: fraud and money laundering. Okay, she has Olivia Hickey on
- 1:29Speaker 3: this breaking news for us right now. She joins us
- 1:31Speaker 3: live in the newsroom. What are you learning, Olivia, Yeah, guys,
- 1:34Speaker 3: this is coming into our newsroom.
- 1:35Speaker 4: The Department of Justice claims Dickerson deposited over three million
- 1:39Speaker 4: dollars in returned bailcheck's into her personal account from the
- 1:42Speaker 4: Black Lives Matter Oklahoma City's account from June twenty twenty
- 1:45Speaker 4: till at least October of this year. Some notable expenses
- 1:49Speaker 4: the funds covered include recreational travel to Jamaica and the
- 1:52Speaker 4: Dominican Republic for herself and associates, at least fifty thousand
- 1:55Speaker 4: dollars in food and grocery deliveries for herself and her kids,
- 1:58Speaker 4: tens of thousands of dollars spent in retail shopping, a
- 2:02Speaker 4: personal vehicle registered in her name. Six properties in her
- 2:05Speaker 4: name or in the name of Equity International LLC, an
- 2:08Speaker 4: entity only she has control over, although according to the indictment,
- 2:12Speaker 4: she claims the church property she purchased back in twenty
- 2:15Speaker 4: twenty one was intended to be used as a BLMOKC
- 2:18Speaker 4: community center. The property was placed in her own name. Now.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Back in twenty twenty, the organization raised money to support
- 2:24Speaker 4: its social justice mission from online donors and national bail funds.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Over five million dollars was raised, some through grants with
- 2:31Speaker 4: national bail funds. The indictment says the money from the
- 2:34Speaker 4: grants was supposed to assist people arrested in connection to
- 2:37Speaker 4: protests for racial justice following George Floyd's death. The indictment
- 2:41Speaker 4: also alleges Dickerson used interstate wire Communications to submit two
- 2:45Speaker 4: false annual reports to the Alliance for Global Justice on
- 2:48Speaker 4: behalf of BLMOKC. She reported the funds were only used
- 2:52Speaker 4: for tax exempt purposes. The DOJ says she did disclose
- 2:55Speaker 4: the funds went toward personal benefits. She faces up to
- 2:59Speaker 4: twenty years in prison and up to two hundred fifty
- 3:01Speaker 4: thousand dollars for each count of wire fraud. Now within
- 3:04Speaker 4: the last hour, Diggerson did post to her personal Facebook
- 3:06Speaker 4: page on a Facebook live saying she's been advised by
- 3:09Speaker 4: her attorney not to comment. We did reach out to
- 3:11Speaker 4: her personally as well this afternoon. We have yet to
- 3:14Speaker 4: hear back. That indictment is now live on koco dot
- 3:16Speaker 4: com for you to view. Stick with us as a
- 3:18Speaker 4: situation unfolds.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Now, why is it that only the local media in
- 3:23Speaker 1: Oklahoma City is doing.
- 3:25Speaker 2: A report like this?
- 3:27Speaker 1: This is a national story at three point one five
- 3:30Speaker 1: million dollars in return bail checks going into the personal
- 3:34Speaker 1: bank account of the executive director of Black Lives Matter
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oklahoma City. And this was going on for a half
- 3:40Speaker 1: of a decade that we know about. This is a
- 3:43Speaker 1: fifty two year old reverend, right, who is literally taking
- 3:51Speaker 1: the and routing the money intended to go to the
- 3:53Speaker 1: group's bail fund for people to go to jail, all right,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and social justice programs, and like, nah, I'm just going
- 4:00Speaker 1: to take that and throw it into my account. From
- 4:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty to twenty twenty five, she used it for
- 4:06Speaker 1: a personal benefit. That's not a shock, right, Well, let's
- 4:09Speaker 1: go to Jamaica, all right, you want to go to
- 4:10Speaker 1: Dominican Republic. Okay, tens of thousands of dollars in retail shopping,
- 4:15Speaker 1: more than fifty thousand in food deliveries, by the way,
- 4:18Speaker 1: that's a lot of food, folks. I've like fifty thousand
- 4:21Speaker 1: in food deliveries. I haven't hit that in my entire lifetime.
- 4:25Speaker 2: A vehicle and six.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Properties now, according to the Department of Justice press release
- 4:34Speaker 1: covering the indictment, and this is part of the reason
- 4:37Speaker 1: why the media is not covering this because it's just
- 4:39Speaker 1: so damning. Blm OKC raised more than six point or
- 4:43Speaker 1: five point six million beginning in twenty twenty, including major
- 4:47Speaker 1: grants from Community Justice Exchange, the Massachusetts Bail Fund in
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Minnesota Freedom Fund.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Those organizations run in.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Most of the money through the Alliance for Global Justice
- 5:01Speaker 1: known as AFGJ. They served as Black Lives Matter's OKC
- 5:08Speaker 1: fiscal sponsor and required that all funds be used for
- 5:12Speaker 1: taxes and purposes permitted under the Section five oh one
- 5:15Speaker 1: C three. AFGJ also prohibited real estate purchases without its
- 5:20Speaker 1: approval and required blm OKC to fully account for expenditures
- 5:25Speaker 1: upon request. Now prosecutors they say that Diggerson instead deposit
- 5:31Speaker 1: at least three million, one hundred and fifty thousand in
- 5:36Speaker 1: return bail checks into her personal account rather than into
- 5:41Speaker 1: the blm OKAC accounts, and then used interstate wires to
- 5:46Speaker 1: submit two annual reports to the AFGC or excuse me,
- 5:51Speaker 1: the AFGJ that did not disclose her personal use of
- 5:57Speaker 1: the funds. Those are said the organization's money have been
- 6:01Speaker 1: used only for tax exempt purposes. Now, Dickerson served as
- 6:07Speaker 1: the group's executive director beginning in at least twenty sixteen.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So like I'm saying, well, you got to go back, right,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you got to go back and look at this whole thing.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Had access to the blm okase's bank, their PayPal and
- 6:20Speaker 1: cash app accounts. According to the indictment, I am sure
- 6:25Speaker 1: there's got to be something from sixteen to twenty to
- 6:27Speaker 1: look at. Prosecutors alleged the miscontent began during the period
- 6:31Speaker 1: when the National Bail Funds allowed blm OKAC to retain
- 6:36Speaker 1: portions of the return bail money to build a revolving
- 6:40Speaker 1: bail fund or support its state for I guess their
- 6:44Speaker 1: stated purpose as they described it. All Right, it's almost Christmas,

- 8:23Speaker 1: to two Patriot right. Now, here's something else you need
- 8:27Speaker 1: to know. In twenty twenty, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation,
- 8:32Speaker 1: it's a separate national organization not affiliated directly with BLMOKC
- 8:41Speaker 1: also came under scrutiny after New York Magazine reported that
- 8:44Speaker 1: it had purchased a six million dollar California property using
- 8:50Speaker 1: donor funds. Internal memos showed senior leaders discussing how to
- 8:55Speaker 1: manage questions about the house, which the group said was
- 8:59Speaker 1: intended to serve as a well creative and community space
- 9:03Speaker 1: for I guess the BLM community. The reporting ignited debate
- 9:07Speaker 1: at the time of financial transparency and oversight within the
- 9:11Speaker 1: national BLM associated organizations.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And guess what who was in charge? Then?
- 9:17Speaker 1: Well, you had Democrats that were in charge and they said,
- 9:21Speaker 1: we don't want to look into this. Now here's the
- 9:24Speaker 1: other thing that's interesting. A federal grand jury has now
- 9:27Speaker 1: returned a twenty five count indictment charging Dickerson with twenty
- 9:33Speaker 1: counts of wire fraud and five counts of money laundering. She,
- 9:37Speaker 1: by the way, faces and this is the part that
- 9:39Speaker 1: I think is important. I also think it's good that
- 9:42Speaker 1: there's accountability, even if it's years later than it should
- 9:46Speaker 1: have been. Okay, she faced up to twenty years in
- 9:49Speaker 1: federal prison for each wire fraud count and up to
- 9:52Speaker 1: ten years for each money laundering count, along with potential
- 9:57Speaker 1: fines of up to two hundred fifty thousand per charge.
- 9:59Speaker 1: She won have that money, she won't pay it, and
- 10:01Speaker 1: let's be honest, She's not gonna go to jail for
- 10:03Speaker 1: that long, is my gut.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:05Speaker 1: The other interesting fact about this is the case was
- 10:09Speaker 1: investigated by the FBI's Oklahoma Field Office, Oklahoma City Field Office,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and the IRS Criminal Investigation. Why was this not investigated earlier?
- 10:19Speaker 1: I can tell you why, because Joe Biden was in
- 10:22Speaker 1: bed and the Biden administration was in bed with Black
- 10:24Speaker 1: Lives Matter, and there was no way in hell they
- 10:27Speaker 1: were going to have the FBI investigate Black Lives Matter
- 10:29Speaker 1: OKC and the Alliance for Global Justice as well. These
- 10:35Speaker 1: were their friends. They were not going to go after them.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I have one final question on this that I think
- 10:45Speaker 1: everyone should be asking. If this was happening in OKAC,
- 10:51Speaker 1: was it happening at every BLM chapter around the country?
- 10:55Speaker 1: There are a lot of questions that need to be
- 10:58Speaker 1: answered about that. There has been a lot in the
- 11:03Speaker 1: news about the Somali population defrauding taxpayers at record rates,
- 11:09Speaker 1: costing you millions and millions and millions and millions of
- 11:14Speaker 1: taxpayers dollars in Minnesota. Well, I wish I could tell
- 11:19Speaker 1: you it's gotten better, but it isn't at all. It's
- 11:22Speaker 1: actually gotten even worse in what we're finding out about
- 11:25Speaker 1: how much money the Somali community is taking from all
- 11:29Speaker 1: of us.
- 11:30Speaker 2: How bad is it?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Nearly every Somali household with children is on welfare.
- 11:40Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:41Speaker 1: New data is showing that more than eight in ten
- 11:45Speaker 1: households headed by Somali refugees in the state of Minnesota
- 11:50Speaker 1: are on one or more forms of American taxpayer funded welfare.
- 11:55Speaker 1: This new data, published by the Center for Immigration Studies
- 11:59Speaker 1: is revealing this shocking news.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:02Speaker 1: The data is actually based on ten years a decade
- 12:06Speaker 1: of data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, known
- 12:12Speaker 1: as the ACS, and it shows drastic disparities between native
- 12:16Speaker 1: born American households and Somali born households in Minnesota, where
- 12:22Speaker 1: nearly eighty thousand residents have Somali ancestry compared to zero
- 12:28Speaker 1: who had Somali ancestry in nineteen ninety. In particular, the
- 12:32Speaker 1: data shows that eighty one percent of Minnesota households headed
- 12:38Speaker 1: by Somali refugees are on one or more form of welfare,
- 12:43Speaker 1: including twenty seven percent who are on cash welfare, fifty
- 12:49Speaker 1: four percent who are on food stamps, and seventy three
- 12:54Speaker 1: percent who are on Medicaid. Now many are on multiple
- 13:00Speaker 1: forms of government aid welfare. Now you compare this massive
- 13:05Speaker 1: welfare to Native born Americans residing in Minnesota, the numbers
- 13:12Speaker 1: are completely and staggeringly different, only twenty one percent of
- 13:19Speaker 1: whom are on one or more form of welfare when
- 13:22Speaker 1: it comes to American Native born, including just six percent
- 13:29Speaker 1: who are on cash welfare, seven percent who are on
- 13:33Speaker 1: food stamps, and eighteen percent who are on Medicaid. Now,
- 13:38Speaker 1: let me just go back through these numbers and compare them.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Of Native born Americans residing Minnesota, just six percent are
- 13:46Speaker 1: on cash welfare. Somali refugees in Minnesota, twenty seven percent
- 13:53Speaker 1: on cash welfare, and just seven percent of Native born
- 13:58Speaker 1: Americans residing Minnesota are on food stamps. Again, I go
- 14:02Speaker 1: back and really think about these numbers in your head.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Of the Somali refugees in Minnesota, fifty four percent of
- 14:11Speaker 1: them are on food stamps, and if you look at medicaid.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Of Native born Americans residing in Minnesota, eighteen percent are
- 14:20Speaker 1: on medicaid. Seventy three percent of Somali refugees are on medicaid.
- 14:29Speaker 1: That is an insane number, a number that should scare
- 14:34Speaker 1: everyone because it's unsustainable. Now, welfare use goes even higher,
- 14:40Speaker 1: by the way, for Somali households with children that are
- 14:44Speaker 1: in the home, the ACS data find. So that was
- 14:47Speaker 1: just in general numbers, right, like a grown woman or
- 14:51Speaker 1: a grown man. Now if you look at households with
- 14:55Speaker 1: a child in it, the numbers skyrocket even more. Eighty
- 15:00Speaker 1: nine percent of Somali headed households with children in Minnesota
- 15:05Speaker 1: are on one or more forms of welfare. Eighty six
- 15:10Speaker 1: percent of these households with children that are Somali headed
- 15:16Speaker 1: eighty six percent on medicaid, and this number is the
- 15:21Speaker 1: most damming. About Sixty two percent of Somali households with
- 15:26Speaker 1: children in the state are on food stamps and twenty
- 15:29Speaker 1: three percent take cash welfare. Now, most of these families
- 15:34Speaker 1: are on at least two forms of government aid, some
- 15:37Speaker 1: have three even four. Quote nearly every Somali household with
- 15:42Speaker 1: children receive some form of welfare. That is what the
- 15:45Speaker 1: CIS researcher Jason Witchwine said in this report. The gap
- 15:51Speaker 1: between Somali households with children on welfare and Native born
- 15:54Speaker 1: Americans that with children on welfare is wide. Only about
- 15:59Speaker 1: three in ten Minnesota households with children take one or
- 16:04Speaker 1: more forms of welfare. All right, so thirty percent, only
- 16:09Speaker 1: six percent on cash welfare if you're a Native born,
- 16:14Speaker 1: ten percent in Minnesota Native born on food stamps, and
- 16:18Speaker 1: twenty eight percent on medicaid. Eighty nine percent of sm
- 16:24Speaker 1: only headed households with children Minnesota are on one or
- 16:27Speaker 1: more forms of welfare. This goes back to what President
- 16:32Speaker 1: Donald Trump talked about a couple of days ago. Why
- 16:37Speaker 1: on earth would we continue to bring people into this
- 16:40Speaker 1: country that we are having to take care of indefinitely,
- 16:46Speaker 1: that are costing us countless dollars when we have plenty
- 16:51Speaker 1: of Americans that need help. First, we have countless felling schools,
- 16:57Speaker 1: We have people living in poverty. We still have a
- 17:00Speaker 1: homeless crisis, where our men and women that fought to
- 17:03Speaker 1: protect and serve this country. So why would we bring
- 17:07Speaker 1: in Somali's where we know that eighty nine percent of them,
- 17:11Speaker 1: if they have children, we're going to have to pay
- 17:13Speaker 1: for their life. We're eighty six percent of them are
- 17:17Speaker 1: going to be on Medicaid, We're sixty two percent of
- 17:20Speaker 1: them are on food stamps, and where twenty three percent
- 17:23Speaker 1: takes cash welfare and maybe even more. These numbers aren't
- 17:28Speaker 1: even close to the native born numbers. Operation Overlord the
- 17:34Speaker 1: D Day Beaches. You and I share a passion for history,

- 18:28Speaker 1: to receive a one time auto dialed text message from
- 18:32Speaker 1: my Heart Media.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Now.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Disparities, by the by the way, between Native born Americans
- 18:37Speaker 1: and Smali refugees of Minnesota goes deeper than welfare use.
- 18:40Speaker 1: The data also shows Somali refugees or in or near
- 18:45Speaker 1: poverty of Minnesota surpasses sixty six percent, while fewer than
- 18:52Speaker 1: two and ten Native born Minnesotas live in or near
- 18:56Speaker 1: the poverty line. So almost seven out of every ten
- 19:00Speaker 1: Somali refugees are living in or near the poverty line.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That number is crazy. But let's talk about are they
- 19:09Speaker 1: at least trying to become Americans? Are they trying to assimilate?
- 19:13Speaker 1: Are they trying to become a part of this country?
- 19:16Speaker 1: The refugees that have come over from Somalia. All right,
- 19:19Speaker 1: here's some more data for you. Just zero point seven
- 19:24Speaker 1: percent of Native born Americans in Minnesota speak English less
- 19:29Speaker 1: than very well. Almost sixty percent of Somali refugees say
- 19:33Speaker 1: they don't speak any English very well, including nearly half
- 19:38Speaker 1: of Somali refugees who have lived in Minnesota for more
- 19:41Speaker 1: than a decade. Samali refugees in Minnesota also tend to
- 19:45Speaker 1: be vastly less educated than their Minnesota and counterparts. Well.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Only five percent of Native born Americans in Minnesota do
- 19:53Speaker 1: not have a high school diploma, so it's actually a
- 19:55Speaker 1: very educated state. Almost forty percent of small refugees say
- 19:59Speaker 1: this saying, including more than twenty eight percent who have
- 20:03Speaker 1: lived in Minnesota for more than a decade, and they
- 20:05Speaker 1: still don't have the education they need to succeed at.
- 20:08Speaker 2: A high level.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You put all that together, this is a recipe for disaster.
- 20:15Speaker 1: We know it, and we have the data to prove it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: So why on earth are we still having these programs?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Which is the question that the President of the United
- 20:27Speaker 1: States of America has been asking, and it's one that
- 20:31Speaker 1: every American should want or demand an answer from it. Now,
- 20:36Speaker 1: all the data I just gave you, I really hope
- 20:39Speaker 1: you'll take it and you'll share it. I hope you
- 20:41Speaker 1: take the podcast, share it wherever you can on social media,
- 20:45Speaker 1: because this is the exact type of data that needs
- 20:47Speaker 1: to get out there. It brings me to another story
- 20:52Speaker 1: that I also want to bring up, and it's about
- 20:55Speaker 1: exactly what is happening with immigration in general. There's other
- 20:59Speaker 1: shocking news that has come out from the HUD secretary
- 21:04Speaker 1: warning that illegal immigration is pushing home prices higher than
- 21:09Speaker 1: you can imagine in new comments that have come out
- 21:12Speaker 1: as the agency has released a damning report on the
- 21:16Speaker 1: housing market strain. And if you are an American that
- 21:20Speaker 1: wants to own a home, it's harder now than it's
- 21:22Speaker 1: been in my lifetime. There is a lack of affordability
- 21:27Speaker 1: and home prices have gotten incredibly high, making those forty
- 21:31Speaker 1: and under in essence, renters, not home owners. The Housing
- 21:37Speaker 1: and Urban Development Secretary of Scott Turner slammed the Biden
- 21:40Speaker 1: administration for what he called an illegal immigration and refugee
- 21:46Speaker 1: crisis that has rattled the housing market, particularly for low
- 21:50Speaker 1: income renters. There is more shocking details that he explained
- 21:55Speaker 1: on Fox News Channel, and I want you to hear
- 21:58Speaker 1: what he had to say to Kaylee Mcananny.
- 22:00Speaker 5: I'm joined now by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Secretary Turner, you know it was interesting. I was watching
- 22:06Speaker 5: some of your interviews this week, and you actually linked
- 22:08Speaker 5: a legal immigration to part of the reason we have
- 22:10Speaker 5: a housing crisis.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Well, good morning, Kley, it's always great to be with you.
- 22:14Speaker 6: And yes, during the Biden administration, the immigration policies crippled
- 22:19Speaker 6: our nation over twelve million illegal immigrants, so illegal aliens
- 22:23Speaker 6: came across our border, really stifling our housing affordability and
- 22:28Speaker 6: supply issue in our country. And when you have this
- 22:31Speaker 6: many illegal aliens coming over taking homes that are supposed
- 22:35Speaker 6: to be for the American people, affordability is are automatically
- 22:39Speaker 6: going to go up. Kayley, here's an interesting stat for you.
- 22:42Speaker 6: Fifty nine percent of illegal alien families use one or
- 22:46Speaker 6: more welfare programs in America, costing US about forty two
- 22:50Speaker 6: billion dollars a year. And so we have to get
- 22:54Speaker 6: the immigration policy in order, which President Trump has done
- 22:57Speaker 6: and others in our administration. But yes, legal immigration has
- 23:01Speaker 6: definitely stifled housing affordability and supply.
- 23:04Speaker 5: One of the things that I think is really fantastic
- 23:06Speaker 5: about the Trump administration is you're always coming up with
- 23:08Speaker 5: new ideas, whether it be tariff dividends, the healthcare payments,
- 23:12Speaker 5: and in your case, you're in housing we've heard about
- 23:14Speaker 5: this idea of a portable mortgage, perhaps a fifty year mortgage,
- 23:18Speaker 5: and that we could debate the efficacy of all these ideas,
- 23:20Speaker 5: but you're coming up with solutions. Tell us about some
- 23:23Speaker 5: of those conversations. Do you all get in a room
- 23:25Speaker 5: and just plan and think, how can we help the
- 23:27Speaker 5: American people? Here's some new ideas.
- 23:29Speaker 6: Yes, Kelly, you know all too well, having us served
- 23:31Speaker 6: so faithfully in the first administration that President Trump not
- 23:36Speaker 6: only as a strategist, but he executes on ideas. And
- 23:40Speaker 6: so right now there's many ideas, a myriad of ideas
- 23:43Speaker 6: on the table as it pertains a housing affordability and
- 23:46Speaker 6: helping first time home buyers in America. I hear it,
- 23:50Speaker 6: You hear it, gen Z, Millennials and others, and how
- 23:53Speaker 6: we're going to be able to afford a home. And
- 23:54Speaker 6: so not only do we understand it, but you have
- 23:57Speaker 6: people leadership in this country getting together, getting stakeholders together,
- 24:02Speaker 6: industry experts to see what is the best feasible and
- 24:05Speaker 6: appropriate path that we can take to open up a
- 24:08Speaker 6: building in our country. And I will say, in addition
- 24:11Speaker 6: to that, Kayley, the regulatory environment is burden some in
- 24:15Speaker 6: our country, and so at HUD we've taken down burdened
- 24:18Speaker 6: some regulations affirmatively further in fair housing, which made HUD
- 24:22Speaker 6: and National Zoning Board, restoring local control back to the cities,
- 24:27Speaker 6: back to the states, back to the localities. And we're
- 24:30Speaker 6: encouraging every locality take inventory of your regulatory environment to
- 24:34Speaker 6: see how you can unleash building and development in yours
- 24:38Speaker 6: said community. And so these ideas taking down the regulatory environment,
- 24:42Speaker 6: public private partnerships are all part of the plan.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I go back to one of the things that Turner
- 24:46Speaker 1: said there the quote unchecked legal immigration and open borders
- 24:50Speaker 1: policies allowed by the Biden administration continue to put significant
- 24:55Speaker 1: strength on housing pricing out American families. These policies plagued
- 25:00Speaker 1: Americans housing market, but in Trump's presidency, Americans finally have
- 25:06Speaker 1: a leader fighting to restore the sanity for American immigration policy.
- 25:12Speaker 1: You look at this report and Hudd's twenty twenty five
- 25:16Speaker 1: report also found that increased immigration has driven up the
- 25:22Speaker 1: price you're paying for a house and that unrestricted nature
- 25:27Speaker 1: of the influx has both strained the housing market. And
- 25:31Speaker 1: this is from the report Priced Out Many American Families.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Report found that an estimated fifteen million illegal immigrants, constant
- 25:41Speaker 1: thirty percent of all foreign born residents now. Turner also
- 25:48Speaker 1: added that HUD took away federal housing authority back mortgages
- 25:52Speaker 1: from illegal immigrants offered during the Biden administration, saying the
- 25:55Speaker 1: former president turned a blind eye of the issue. So
- 25:58Speaker 1: you were literally like our government was giving out the
- 26:02Speaker 1: loans and backing the loans of illegal immigrants. Now in California,
- 26:09Speaker 1: right sanctuary state, New York a sanctuary state as well,
- 26:12Speaker 1: immigrants they now say this report of accounting for one
- 26:15Speaker 1: hundred percent of all rental growth and over one half
- 26:21Speaker 1: of all growth in owner occupied housing in recent years.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So if you're trying to find affordable housing in California
- 26:27Speaker 1: or New York as a state, good luck, because immigrants
- 26:31Speaker 1: have accounting for one hundred percent of all rental growth
- 26:34Speaker 1: and over one half of all growth in the owner
- 26:37Speaker 1: occupied housing in recent years. Nationally, there's also a major
- 26:42Speaker 1: concern the foreign born population now accounts for more than
- 26:47Speaker 1: sixty percent of the growth in rental demand. Nationwide, the
- 26:52Speaker 1: foreign born population accounted for two thirds of renal demand growth.
- 26:57Speaker 1: HUDDS report also says that if we don't stop this,
- 27:01Speaker 1: they're going to have Americans that literally cannot afford to
- 27:04Speaker 1: live in America, is what the synopsis is. Because there
- 27:08Speaker 1: is such a competitive marketplace for renal properties, and you
- 27:13Speaker 1: can't afford to buy a home, so what is your option.
- 27:17Speaker 1: That's something that every American should be thinking about. And
- 27:20Speaker 1: it's exactly why, by the way, the President of the
- 27:23Speaker 1: United States America is taking this subject on saying we
- 27:27Speaker 1: have to stop it now. Don't forget to share this podcast,
