- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdicous center. Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 1: you and center. It is a big day at the
- 0:06Speaker 1: White House because it is the one hundredth day of
- 0:09Speaker 1: the Trump administration, and they were celebrating some very big
- 0:13Speaker 1: successes at the White House today.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Well, we are one hundred days in and I can
- 0:18Speaker 2: say with no hesitation, there has never been a first
- 0:23Speaker 2: hundred days of a president in the history of the
- 0:25Speaker 2: United States of America like the first hundred days of
- 0:28Speaker 2: Donald J.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Trump.
- 0:30Speaker 2: He has hit the ground running. It has been extraordinary.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I still have great fun turning to my Democrat colleagues
- 0:36Speaker 2: and just dead penning to them, well three years, nine
- 0:40Speaker 2: months ago, and they just start twitching that they like
- 0:45Speaker 2: genuinely that they can't handle it. He had a great
- 0:48Speaker 2: rally in Michigan today, going through the victories that we
- 0:52Speaker 2: have seen, and and listen just the energy, the vigor
- 0:56Speaker 2: they are moving on every front simultaneously. They are flowed
- 1:00Speaker 2: ut the zone. I don't know all of the metaphors
- 1:03Speaker 2: to use, but it is. It is shocking, all all
- 1:07Speaker 2: at once, and it's beautiful. I literally wake up every
- 1:11Speaker 2: day I grabbed my phone and I'm like, what did
- 1:14Speaker 2: they do today. It's fantastic, I want to say before
- 1:18Speaker 2: we dive into that, though, I do want to recognize
- 1:20Speaker 2: that it is also a sad day. It's a sad day,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and that the news just broke a few hours ago
- 1:26Speaker 2: that David Horowitz passed away. David Horowitz was an extraordinary
- 1:31Speaker 2: conservative leader. He's someone I got to know early in
- 1:34Speaker 2: my career. David had been a Marxist, he was a Leftist.
- 1:37Speaker 2: He was an open and radical Marxist, and he saw
- 1:41Speaker 2: the light and he understood the evil of the radical left.
- 1:47Speaker 2: David was unapologetic to call out and to call out
- 1:53Speaker 2: that the evil, the mendacity, the duplicity, and to speak
- 1:57Speaker 2: the truth. And he lived to Lady six. He died
- 2:00Speaker 2: after a long battle with cancer. And David is someone
- 2:04Speaker 2: who had an early impact in terms of my journey
- 2:08Speaker 2: as a conservative. And so I just just want to
- 2:11Speaker 2: say thank you to David Horowitz for the for the
- 2:13Speaker 2: life and legacy he left. He may he rest in peace.
- 2:19Speaker 2: He made a really positive difference in our country, he.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Really did, and he was so kind.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I don't know if people understand how much he tried
- 2:27Speaker 1: to inspire college kids and high school kids to get
- 2:31Speaker 1: involved in the process. And he also warned about the indoctrination,
- 2:35Speaker 1: even wrote books about it, about the indoctrination at the
- 2:38Speaker 1: college level. He sounded that alarm gosh, probably twenty years
- 2:41Speaker 1: ago in one of his books, and I wish more
- 2:44Speaker 1: people would have realized just how close he was to
- 2:46Speaker 1: what reality has become now.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Look, and he was doing this long before Turning Point,
- 2:52Speaker 2: long before the Trump movement, long before everything he was.
- 2:57Speaker 2: He organized, in fact, a right wing gathering which which
- 3:04Speaker 2: I went to a couple of times that that that
- 3:06Speaker 2: that was designed to be a counter to to Renaissance Weekend.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Renaissance Weekend was this lefty weekend where Democrats would go
- 3:15Speaker 2: to it and big rich lefties would go to it,
- 3:17Speaker 2: and the media would go to it, and they would
- 3:19Speaker 2: It was sort of a predecessor of Davos and and
- 3:23Speaker 2: David Horowitz organized a counter in like if the lefties
- 3:26Speaker 2: were going to have Renaissance Weekend, He's like, screw you.
- 3:29Speaker 2: He organized dark Age's Weekend and said we're just going
- 3:32Speaker 2: to revel in. And so I went went several times
- 3:35Speaker 2: to dark Age's Weekend, and it was a lot of
- 3:37Speaker 2: young conservatives and libertarians and and and the relationships there.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I went in my twenties to that and and made
- 3:43Speaker 2: friendships and got to know him and and I admired
- 3:46Speaker 2: just just just his fearless truth telling something you don't
- 3:51Speaker 2: see a lot of.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm waiting for what would you name your weekend, by
- 3:55Speaker 1: the way, if you were going to have one, like
- 3:56Speaker 1: I feel like this is something we need to know
- 3:58Speaker 1: from you. What would what would you name if it
- 4:00Speaker 1: is a Ted Cruz weekend?
- 4:02Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I might right now, I might name it the Houston
- 4:05Speaker 2: Rockets win the finals weekend. But I'm afraid that. I'm
- 4:09Speaker 2: afraid that weekend is not a twenty twenty five a weekend.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It's not on the Bingo card this year. Well played, though, sir,
- 4:15Speaker 1: well played.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know what, we could win three in a row.
- 4:17Speaker 2: We've done it before.
- 4:18Speaker 3: See that's all I gotta do. I just gotta get
- 4:20Speaker 3: you a little feisty here. By the way.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Ninety five we came down in a hole. It's where
- 4:25Speaker 2: Houston got the nickname clutch City because we we were
- 4:27Speaker 2: down three games and we came back. Now, I'm not
- 4:30Speaker 2: sure Kim Olajuan is playing for the Rockets right now,
- 4:33Speaker 2: so it may be a later.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Year exactly, well, we'll see, Like you said, anything's possible
- 4:38Speaker 1: in sports. And I got to say to his family,
- 4:42Speaker 1: to Hortz family, just God bless you guys. You want
- 4:45Speaker 1: to talk about a legacy. I look at people now
- 4:48Speaker 1: when they pass. I'm like, what an incredible legacy? Like
- 4:51Speaker 1: the legacy the people that he touched, the people that
- 4:54Speaker 1: he influenced. You know the fact that you and so
- 4:57Speaker 1: many other elected officials now were in and around him.
- 5:01Speaker 1: His books taught so many people lives. I just think,
- 5:04Speaker 1: what an amazing legacy. Job well done. Our thoughts and
- 5:06Speaker 1: prayers are with his family, all right. I want to
- 5:09Speaker 1: tell you real quick about Patriot Mobile. You've heard me
- 5:11Speaker 1: talk about it now for if you've been listened to
- 5:13Speaker 1: show for years, and you probably already know that they've
- 5:17Speaker 1: stood in the gap for every American who believes that
- 5:19Speaker 1: in faith, family, freedom, and it's that these values are
- 5:24Speaker 1: actually worth fighting for.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Now. Patriot Mobile is incredible.
- 5:28Speaker 1: They take about five percent of your bill every month,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that no cost to you, and they actually give it
- 5:33Speaker 1: back to organizations that set up for First or Second
- 5:35Speaker 1: Amendment rights, that organizations that set up for the rights
- 5:39Speaker 1: of unborn children. They also stand with our military, our veterans,
- 5:43Speaker 1: our wounded warriors, and our men and women in uniform
- 5:45Speaker 1: that keep us safe in America. They're the real deal.
- 5:48Speaker 1: So here's the question, why haven't you switched? Well, you
- 5:52Speaker 1: may say I'm worried about technology, not a problem. Switching,
- 5:55Speaker 1: by the way, is easy, no store visits, no hassles.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You keep your same number, you have now same phone,
- 6:00Speaker 1: or upgrade to a new one. They have one hundred
- 6:02Speaker 1: percent US based team that can activate you in minutes
- 6:05Speaker 1: right over the phone.
- 6:06Speaker 3: And get this.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is one of the few carriers with access
- 6:10Speaker 1: to all three major US networks. What does that mean?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Exceptional nationwide coverage. Plus they can even put a second
- 6:19Speaker 1: number on a different network on.
- 6:21Speaker 3: The same phone.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So maybe you want to have a work phone and
- 6:24Speaker 1: you also want to have a home phone or a
- 6:27Speaker 1: personal line.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Not a problem. It can all be on one phone.
- 6:30Speaker 1: They've got unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, Internet
- 6:35Speaker 1: on the go devices, and home internet backup. So what
- 6:38Speaker 1: are you waiting for? Make the switch and I'm going
- 6:41Speaker 1: to give you a free month of service. Go to
- 6:43Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. That's Patriotmobile dot com. Slash verdict,
- 6:48Speaker 1: or you can call them nine to seven to two Patriot.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's nine seven to two Patriot and use a promo
- 6:53Speaker 1: code vertict. You're gonna get a free month of service.
- 6:56Speaker 1: So switch to Patriot Mobile and make a difference with
- 6:58Speaker 1: every call you make, every text that you send patreonmobile
- 7:02Speaker 1: dot com slash verdict or nine to seven to Patriot.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So in every presidency center, the one hundred day mark
- 7:08Speaker 1: is obviously a big moment.
- 7:10Speaker 3: If things are going well, you celebrate it. Things aren't going.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Well, the media likes to remind everybody how terrible it
- 7:16Speaker 1: actually is going and it's a disaster. This Presen's got
- 7:19Speaker 1: a lot of things in the column that are major victories,
- 7:23Speaker 1: and at the top of that list, I still think
- 7:25Speaker 1: it's clearly the border and just how quickly he was
- 7:28Speaker 1: able to secure the border.
- 7:29Speaker 3: The numbers are staggering.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That's got to be something that every voter can be
- 7:33Speaker 1: proud of that they voted for that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's extraordinary. And I got to say number one,
- 7:38Speaker 2: the volume of the crisis was massive. Under Joe Biden,
- 7:41Speaker 2: we had the worst illegal immigration in our nation's history.
- 7:44Speaker 2: We had over twelve million illegal immigrants coming into this country.
- 7:48Speaker 2: You remember my speech at the Republican National Convention this
- 7:51Speaker 2: past year. The theme of the speech was every damn day,
- 7:55Speaker 2: because every damn day, another American was being murdered, another
- 7:58Speaker 2: woman was being raped, and the child was being assaulted
- 8:01Speaker 2: by a criminal illegal alien released by Joe Biden and
- 8:04Speaker 2: Kamala Harrison, the Democrats, and over and over again, whether
- 8:08Speaker 2: you're talking about Joscelyn Hungaree or Laken Riley or Rachel Morin,
- 8:12Speaker 2: over and over again, the victims kept piling up, and
- 8:16Speaker 2: the Democrats insisted there was nothing they could do to
- 8:19Speaker 2: stop it. But it was of course a deliberate political
- 8:21Speaker 2: decision by them to allow this invasion because they looked
- 8:25Speaker 2: at every one of those of those illegals as a
- 8:27Speaker 2: future Democrat voter. And Donald Trump came in, and to
- 8:30Speaker 2: be clear, on this podcast, I predicted last year. I said, listen,
- 8:35Speaker 2: it's not going to take President Trump a year. It's
- 8:37Speaker 2: not going to take him six months to secure the border.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It is going to happen a matter of weeks or
- 8:42Speaker 2: even days, because what matters is a president who is
- 8:46Speaker 2: willing to enforce the law, and the most important determinant
- 8:49Speaker 2: of whether you secure the borders.
- 8:51Speaker 3: What happened.
- 8:51Speaker 2: What happens when you apprehend someone illegally, who's here illegally,
- 8:54Speaker 2: and if the answer is you put them on a
- 8:56Speaker 2: plane and you fly him home, well, just about everyone
- 8:59Speaker 2: who comes as a s phone, they call home, they say,
- 9:01Speaker 2: don't come, they're sending you back. If the answer is
- 9:04Speaker 2: you let them go again, they have a cell phone,
- 9:08Speaker 2: they call home and they say, come on up here,
- 9:10Speaker 2: get you get to stay. Trump came in and the
- 9:13Speaker 2: numbers have dropped over ninety nine point nine percent. That
- 9:18Speaker 2: is a staggering victory, and it's a victory that there
- 9:21Speaker 2: was a clear mandate for in the selection.
- 9:23Speaker 3: So let's talk about moving forward.
- 9:25Speaker 1: You have a lot of goals when you're the president
- 9:28Speaker 1: in the first hundred days, and then you have the
- 9:30Speaker 1: longer term things. It's it's pretty clear that some of
- 9:33Speaker 1: these things are going to take longer than one hundred days.
- 9:35Speaker 1: What he did at at the border is just incredible,
- 9:37Speaker 1: as you As you mentioned, the level of the problem
- 9:41Speaker 1: is so massive, and look, that's still going to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: a major issue moving forward. We've got a lot of
- 9:46Speaker 1: people to deport, a lot of criminals are still out
- 9:48Speaker 1: there that we're rounding up We saw some amazing numbers
- 9:50Speaker 1: over the weekend around the country with big operations to
- 9:53Speaker 1: grab criminals, a lot of them MS thirteen gang members,
- 9:56Speaker 1: et cetera. But then you also look at the other issues,
- 9:59Speaker 1: and that includes the economy, that includes tariffs.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I mean, there's still a lot to get done.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but let's not put words in President Trump's mouth.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Let's listen to a montage from the rally that he
- 10:12Speaker 2: held in Michigan to night celebrating the first hundred days. Here,
- 10:15Speaker 2: give a listen.
- 10:16Speaker 5: We're here tonight in the heartland of our nation to
- 10:19Speaker 5: celebrate the most successful first one hundred days of Eddy
- 10:23Speaker 5: administration in the.
- 10:25Speaker 3: History of our country.
- 10:27Speaker 6: And week by.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Week, we're ending illegal immigration, We're taking back our jobs
- 10:35Speaker 5: of protecting our great American auto workers and all of
- 10:38Speaker 5: our workers. Frankly, we're ending the inflation nightmare, the worst
- 10:41Speaker 5: that we've had probably in the history of our country.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Getting woke lunacy and transgender insanity the hell out of
- 10:49Speaker 5: our government. We're stopping the indoctrination of our children, slashing
- 10:57Speaker 5: billions and billions of dollars of Way East fraud and abuse,
- 11:02Speaker 5: and above all, we're saving the American dream We're making
- 11:05Speaker 5: America great again, and it's happening fast through. What the
- 11:08Speaker 5: world has witnessed in the past fourteen weeks is a
- 11:12Speaker 5: revolution of common sense.
- 11:13Speaker 6: That's all it is. Really.
- 11:14Speaker 5: We're conservative, your conservative, yeah, liberal.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Whatever the hell, you know what it's all About's.
- 11:20Speaker 5: About common sense when you think about it, We're for
- 11:22Speaker 5: common sense. We've set all time records for the lowest
- 11:26Speaker 5: number of illegal border crossings ever recorded.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Think of that, ever recorded. I'm proud to be the
- 11:33Speaker 6: president for the.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Workers and not the outsources, the president who stands up
- 11:37Speaker 5: for Main Street, not Wall Street. Our golden age has
- 11:40Speaker 5: only just begun. We are one people, one family, and
- 11:44Speaker 5: one glorious nation under God.
- 11:47Speaker 6: We will never give in.
- 11:48Speaker 5: We will never give up, we will never back down.
- 11:51Speaker 3: We will never ever surrender.
- 11:54Speaker 5: We will fight, fight, fight, and.
- 11:56Speaker 6: We will win, win, win.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I mean, I got to say, he is in his
- 12:01Speaker 1: element when he does these types of events.
- 12:03Speaker 2: This is what got by the way, Christ that there
- 12:06Speaker 2: has never been a phenomenon like Donald Trump at a
- 12:09Speaker 2: rally in the history of politics, and there never will
- 12:13Speaker 2: be again. Maybe the closest we've seen would be Huey Long.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Huey Long was before you and me. But but but
- 12:18Speaker 2: Huey Long could move a crowd in a way that
- 12:22Speaker 2: that that was extraordinary at a different era. But but
- 12:25Speaker 2: we're not going to see any politicians in the future
- 12:29Speaker 2: turning out twenty thirty thousand people to rallies. We're not
- 12:33Speaker 2: going to see Donald Trump is one of a kind.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And and and and there was one one clip in
- 12:39Speaker 2: particular that I really liked where he underlined the stakes
- 12:44Speaker 2: of this this this election. And listen, I don't know
- 12:47Speaker 2: about you, Ben, but but I really do feel like
- 12:49Speaker 2: this election, that the fate of the country was hanging
- 12:52Speaker 2: in the balance. That if we had lost, we had
- 12:55Speaker 2: a real risk of not just losing an election, yes
- 12:58Speaker 2: that's bad, but but but of losing the country, of
- 13:00Speaker 2: being in a place where you can never come back.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And that that was frightening. Here's how President Trump put
- 13:10Speaker 2: it about the stakes if the radical left had won
- 13:15Speaker 2: in twenty twenty four, give lesson if we had.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Not won the twenty twenty four election.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Oh does that sound good?
- 13:21Speaker 4: Right?
- 13:21Speaker 6: We won the twenty four all that.
- 13:27Speaker 5: The radical left Democrats would right now be importing the
- 13:30Speaker 5: next ten million invaders and giving amnesty to thirty or
- 13:33Speaker 5: forty million illegals, many of them criminals, many.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Of them frankly murderers.
- 13:39Speaker 5: And people of crime at the absolute highest level, real,
- 13:45Speaker 5: real bad people. It would only be a matter of
- 13:49Speaker 5: years or months until America itself became a failed third
- 13:53Speaker 5: world nation.
- 13:54Speaker 3: This is why he won.
- 13:55Speaker 1: This is exactly why he won, and why Sotio said,
- 13:58Speaker 1: we can't take another four year years of Joe Biden
- 14:01Speaker 1: in the Democratic Party.
- 14:03Speaker 2: So look, there was not a word of hyperbole to that,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and in fact, if anything, he understated it. So he said,
- 14:10Speaker 2: if the radical left Democrats had had won, they would
- 14:14Speaker 2: right now be importing the next ten million invaders. To
- 14:17Speaker 2: be honest, it'd be more than ten million. We saw
- 14:20Speaker 2: twelve million in four years under Joe Biden. If Kamala
- 14:23Speaker 2: Harris had been there, it would be even more. And
- 14:26Speaker 2: giving amnesty to thirty or forty million illegals, that's their objective.
- 14:30Speaker 2: It's why I mean, people ask me all the time,
- 14:33Speaker 2: you know, you know, I love in that montage where
- 14:35Speaker 2: he says this, this is common sense. You know, there
- 14:38Speaker 2: were times you and I are both conservatives. We're proud
- 14:40Speaker 2: to be conservatives, but you don't actually have to be
- 14:43Speaker 2: a conservative to reject the agenda of the radical left,
- 14:47Speaker 2: like crazy open borders. Let's say it, let in twelve
- 14:51Speaker 2: million illegals, let's let in gang members, let's let in murderers,
- 14:54Speaker 2: let's let in rapists, let's let in child molesters. That
- 14:57Speaker 2: is an extreme agenda.
- 15:01Speaker 3: You know.
- 15:01Speaker 2: The idea that let's attack American energy and drive up
- 15:04Speaker 2: energy costs, that's an extreme agenda. The idea that let's
- 15:08Speaker 2: defund the police and put in place George Soros prosecutors
- 15:11Speaker 2: who let murderers and rapists go. That is an extreme agenda.
- 15:15Speaker 2: The idea that you go into schools and you indoctrinate
- 15:19Speaker 2: kids with radical transgender agenda, including sterilization and sex change
- 15:26Speaker 2: surgeries for young children. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris embrace sex
- 15:32Speaker 2: change surgeries, castrating little boys, sterilizing little girls. That's an
- 15:38Speaker 2: extreme agenda. You know, if you embrace boys competing against
- 15:42Speaker 2: girls in sports, men competing against women in sports, two
- 15:46Speaker 2: guys in the Olympics, beating the hell out of women
- 15:48Speaker 2: in so called women's boxing, all of that is extreme,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and it's set up for really a return to common sense.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And people ask me, well, why would the Democrats embrace this,
- 16:03Speaker 2: this open border agenda, and it was about political power.
- 16:07Speaker 2: That Okay, so we have to let in a bunch
- 16:09Speaker 2: of gang members, you know, they they, I guess assume
- 16:13Speaker 2: it's not going to be me that's murdered. It's not
- 16:15Speaker 2: going to be me that is raped or abused or
- 16:17Speaker 2: or or violently assaulted. And so if people have to die. Democrats,
- 16:22Speaker 2: they don't say the names of the victims. They don't
- 16:24Speaker 2: say the names of the murder victims, the rape victims.
- 16:26Speaker 2: They don't say the names of the children violently assaulted.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Uh And and they just that they wanted votes. And
- 16:33Speaker 2: and here's something else that that that President Trump said
- 16:36Speaker 2: at the rally where where he actually reprised my favorite
- 16:40Speaker 2: line from his State of the Union address this year,
- 16:43Speaker 2: where where he talked about how Joe Biden had said
- 16:46Speaker 2: just one year earlier that that he the only way
- 16:48Speaker 2: to secure the border is if Congress passed new legislation.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Get give a listen to what President Trump said.
- 16:54Speaker 5: For years, Joe Biden and the media told us that
- 16:58Speaker 5: stopping the flood of a legal immigration was absolutely impossible.
- 17:02Speaker 6: He said it was impossible. He didn't know what the
- 17:05Speaker 6: hell anybody was talking about.
- 17:06Speaker 5: He said it was impossible. That the president had no
- 17:11Speaker 5: power to stop what was needed in the.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Form of legislation.
- 17:17Speaker 5: He needed legislation, he had no power to get it.
- 17:20Speaker 5: But it turned out that all we needed was a
- 17:22Speaker 5: new president.
- 17:25Speaker 1: He's right, all we needed was a new president. And
- 17:27Speaker 1: they said that wouldn't even get it done. Well, guess what,
- 17:30Speaker 1: not only did he get it done, but even the
- 17:31Speaker 1: mainstream media now Senator is forced to report on just
- 17:36Speaker 1: how big of a victory that is for Trump at
- 17:38Speaker 1: the border. ABC News they put it this way in
- 17:43Speaker 1: their own interview with the President.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Here in the Oval office.
- 17:46Speaker 7: It's special, one hundred days into your second term. So
- 17:51Speaker 7: what's the one thing, just one thing that you think
- 17:55Speaker 7: is the most significant thing you've done so far in
- 17:58Speaker 7: these hundred days.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Well, I think maybe the border is the most significant
- 18:03Speaker 4: because our country was.
- 18:04Speaker 6: Really going bad.
- 18:05Speaker 4: They were allowing people to come in from prisons, as
- 18:08Speaker 4: you know, and you've heard me say it, but you've
- 18:10Speaker 4: heard a lot of people say at prisons, mental institutions,
- 18:13Speaker 4: gang members, murderers.
- 18:15Speaker 6: We had many murders eleven eight hundred and eighty eight.
- 18:19Speaker 6: They think some murdered more than one person.
- 18:22Speaker 4: So y had murderers coming in, You had everybody coming
- 18:25Speaker 4: in and not just South America, from all over the
- 18:27Speaker 4: world that were emptying their prisons into our country. And
- 18:30Speaker 4: now it's totally closed down. And you've seen just yesterday
- 18:34Speaker 4: they announced ninety nine point nine percent.
- 18:37Speaker 6: Nobody thought that could happen.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Then it happened quickly, very quickly, and I think that's
- 18:41Speaker 4: very significant. But we're doing other things that are very significant.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Results will take a little bit longer because it's one
- 18:48Speaker 4: of those you know, it's complicated. It's many years of
- 18:52Speaker 4: trading abuse. We've been abused by other countries for years
- 18:55Speaker 4: and years. They laughed at us, they thought we were
- 18:58Speaker 4: stupid people.
- 18:59Speaker 6: And we're fixing it.
- 19:01Speaker 4: And I think that's going to be very very important.
- 19:03Speaker 6: But I have a lot of ground to cover.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I would really say that that the border is so.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Important, you know, and we'll get there.
- 19:10Speaker 7: The immigration is huge, and we're going to get there,
- 19:12Speaker 7: but I want to start.
- 19:14Speaker 1: You hear him say the southern border is solely closed
- 19:17Speaker 1: down ninety nine point nine percent. I'll be honest with you,
- 19:20Speaker 1: I don't even think Americans that voted for Donald Trump,
- 19:22Speaker 1: that believed in him, thought he could get this done
- 19:25Speaker 1: this quick with those types of numbers.
- 19:27Speaker 2: The numbers are staggering. He said, nobody believed we could
- 19:30Speaker 2: get there. I actually think that's wrong. I think Donald
- 19:32Speaker 2: Trump believed he could get there. He knew he could
- 19:34Speaker 2: get there. And I'll tell you, you and I we
- 19:36Speaker 2: both predicted it that we would see the numbers absolutely plummet.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Although it's a fair point, we said absolutely plummet. I
- 19:42Speaker 2: don't think I said ninety nine point nine percent. I
- 19:46Speaker 2: might have thought it'd be ninety percent or ninety five percent,
- 19:48Speaker 2: but ninety nine point nine is. To be honest, Trump
- 19:53Speaker 2: might even be surprised. It's that high. It's staggering, and
- 19:57Speaker 2: it's an example of a commander in chief who actually
- 20:00Speaker 2: following law.
- 20:01Speaker 4: You know.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I got to say that ABC interview was really striking
- 20:04Speaker 2: that that there's a great exchange where the the ABC
- 20:10Speaker 2: reporter comes after him and Trump just just body slams him.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Here here, give a listen.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Do you think.
- 20:16Speaker 7: The reputation in the United States has gone down under
- 20:20Speaker 7: your presidence?
- 20:21Speaker 6: No, I think it's gone way up, and I think
- 20:23Speaker 6: we're respected country again. We were left at all over
- 20:26Speaker 6: the world. We had a.
- 20:28Speaker 4: President that couldn't walk up a flight of stairs, couldn't
- 20:30Speaker 4: walk down a flight of stairs, couldn't walk across the
- 20:33Speaker 4: stage without falling.
- 20:34Speaker 6: We had a president that was grossly incompetent.
- 20:37Speaker 4: You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it,
- 20:39Speaker 4: but you guys didn't want to.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Write it because you're fake news. All right, thank you.
- 20:43Speaker 6: By the way, ABC is one of the worst. I
- 20:45Speaker 6: have to be honest, Okay.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Thank you, I'm sorry. That's just amazing. He's looking at
- 20:50Speaker 1: the main guy. He's like roasting them to their faces.
- 20:53Speaker 1: He's like, by the way, ABC, yeah, you guys, by
- 20:55Speaker 1: the way, one of the worst.
- 20:56Speaker 3: He's like, thank you, we're going to wrap now. Thank you.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Think we actually have to watch it watching the and
- 21:02Speaker 2: I will say one of the things Trump doesn't get
- 21:04Speaker 2: nearly enough credit for it is how damn funny he
- 21:07Speaker 2: is where he's like, look, it's one thing if he
- 21:10Speaker 2: could just say, look, Joe Biden was incompetent.
- 21:12Speaker 3: But he's like, he.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Couldn't walk up the stairs, he couldn't walk down the stairs.
- 21:16Speaker 2: He falled, like you couldn't walk in the room. Like
- 21:18Speaker 2: it's just it is funny, but it's true. And he's right,
- 21:22Speaker 2: He's like, you knew it, I knew it. Everyone knew it,
- 21:25Speaker 2: and yet you were lying about it, and nobody in
- 21:28Speaker 2: the media. Have you seen a single maya culpa from
- 21:31Speaker 2: anyone in the media saying we knew Joe Biden was
- 21:35Speaker 2: mentally incompetent and we deliberately lied to the American people
- 21:38Speaker 2: about it.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Nobody's done that, no, no one has it all. One
- 21:42Speaker 1: other thing I do have to say about all of
- 21:45Speaker 1: this one hundred days is the speed at which this
- 21:49Speaker 1: administration is working and how well this team is working
- 21:52Speaker 1: in the White House is really impressive. You and I
- 21:55Speaker 1: have been over there with dogs when we were interviewing
- 21:57Speaker 1: Eglon Musk. I've been back last week as well. Out
- 22:00Speaker 1: of the White House, this team around him is just
- 22:04Speaker 1: incredible compared to what he had in twenty sixteen, and
- 22:07Speaker 1: I think that's part of the reason why he's getting
- 22:09Speaker 1: so much done.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Would you agree with that? I fully agree.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I think the cabinet is much stronger than the twenty
- 22:14Speaker 2: sixteen or the twenty seventeen cabinet. I think in the
- 22:18Speaker 2: first term he made some appointments that frankly did not
- 22:21Speaker 2: serve him well. He put people in place who disagreed
- 22:23Speaker 2: with him, who undermined him, and I think this second term.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I think he learned. I think he learned during the
- 22:30Speaker 2: four years of his first term as president. I think
- 22:33Speaker 2: he learned during the four years he was out of office.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I think he had a lot of time to think
- 22:36Speaker 2: about if and when he came back what he would do.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And I think he put in place change agents. And
- 22:44Speaker 2: you know, there's another exchange in that ABC News interview
- 22:46Speaker 2: that I really like where ABC News is defending illeal
- 22:52Speaker 2: immigration and the open borders under the Democrats, and he
- 22:55Speaker 2: just utterly calls them out here, give and listen to that.
- 22:58Speaker 4: You're talking about you know this person sound This is
- 23:02Speaker 4: a MS thirteen gang member, a tough cookie, been in
- 23:06Speaker 4: lots of skirmishes, beat the hell out of his wife,
- 23:09Speaker 4: and the wife was petrified.
- 23:10Speaker 6: To even talk about him. Okay, this is not an innocent,
- 23:14Speaker 6: wonderful gentleman. From now. I'm not saying he's a good guy.
- 23:17Speaker 6: It's about the rule of law.
- 23:18Speaker 7: The order from the Supreme Court stands here into our
- 23:21Speaker 7: country illegally.
- 23:22Speaker 6: You could.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I mean, I love it. He's not going to back down.
- 23:24Speaker 1: He's not afraid of the guys in the press at all.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And the Democrats. You want to talk about stepping into
- 23:30Speaker 2: their trap. The Democrats have happily embraced we, the Democrat Party,
- 23:36Speaker 2: are the party of illegal immigrants, We are the party
- 23:40Speaker 2: of gang members. We are you know are pod two
- 23:43Speaker 2: days ago if you didn't listen to it. Really is astonishing.
- 23:46Speaker 2: They're two different Democrat judges in jail right now for
- 23:50Speaker 2: obstructing justice, for blocking federal law enforcement for arresting illegal immigrants,
- 23:57Speaker 2: and one of the two at a judge to Mexico,
- 24:01Speaker 2: is charged with sheltering a trend de Aragua Venezuelan gang
- 24:06Speaker 2: member in his home and destroying evidence. It's really shocking.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So this gang member had a cell phone, and this
- 24:14Speaker 2: Democrat judge took the cell phone, smashed it with a hammer,
- 24:17Speaker 2: went and threw the cell phone away in a dumpster,
- 24:19Speaker 2: all in an effort to cover up the evidence of
- 24:22Speaker 2: this gang member's criminality. And one of the astonishing things
- 24:26Speaker 2: that the Department of Justice has told us is that
- 24:29Speaker 2: cell phone that the Democrat judge destroyed had pictures of
- 24:34Speaker 2: two people who had been decapitated, two victims presumably of
- 24:38Speaker 2: gang violence, who had their heads cut off and ben like,
- 24:43Speaker 2: what does it say that today's Democrat Party what they're
- 24:46Speaker 2: about is there for Venezuelan gang members who cut people's
- 24:49Speaker 2: heads off.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Literally.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I don't know how you could be in a more
- 24:53Speaker 2: radical position than where they are right now.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I want to move on to another story that I
- 24:59Speaker 1: hope everyone listening is going to help go viral, because
- 25:01Speaker 1: it's a really important one and it's not when the
- 25:04Speaker 1: media is covering at all. You actually called out a
- 25:07Speaker 1: Princeton professor h for some pro Iran allegiances and saying
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm not backing down, which is awesome. You urge Princeton
- 25:18Speaker 1: to take action. Explain this story for people that may
- 25:21Speaker 1: not know it.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So Princeton has on its faculty a senior official from
- 25:27Speaker 2: the radical, viciously anti American, viciously anti Israel, anti Semitic, homicidal,
- 25:34Speaker 2: murderous regime of Iran, and and Princeton happily ensconced him
- 25:39Speaker 2: with the prestige of being a Princeton academic and and
- 25:44Speaker 2: and so I've called on on Princeton, which, by the way,
- 25:47Speaker 2: is where I went to college. I was Princeton class
- 25:49Speaker 2: in ninety two. I loved my time at Princeton. It's
- 25:51Speaker 2: an extraordinary school that that that sadly has has gone
- 25:54Speaker 2: on the wrong track. I called upon Princeton to fire
- 25:59Speaker 2: this guy, to dismiss him from the faculty. Look, there
- 26:01Speaker 2: are Jewish students at Princeton who legitimately feel afraid. They
- 26:07Speaker 2: feel afraid that you have a vicious bigot who has
- 26:13Speaker 2: openly embraced the murderous Iranian regime. Let me give some
- 26:17Speaker 2: of the specifics. As you might think, Okay, that can't
- 26:20Speaker 2: be true. That sounds like hyperboles. So let's give give
- 26:23Speaker 2: the specifics. Sayed Hosein Moussevian, who is was an official
- 26:29Speaker 2: of Iran, and he's right now he's named a Middle
- 26:33Speaker 2: East security a nuclear policy specialist at Princeton University. What
- 26:40Speaker 2: I pointed out, I said, quote Musavian is closely linked
- 26:43Speaker 2: to the Iranian regime and to the regimes campaigns of
- 26:46Speaker 2: terrorism and murder. His present presence at Princeton makes students
- 26:49Speaker 2: feel justifiably afraid for their safety. Princeton's decision to keep
- 26:53Speaker 2: employing him show that. That shows that they care less
- 26:55Speaker 2: about their students and more about providing a platform for
- 27:00Speaker 2: pro regime and anti American propaganda. That kind of reckless
- 27:06Speaker 2: institutional ideological bias is exactly why the Trump administration is
- 27:11Speaker 2: reassessing federal funding at Princeton. And if you look at
- 27:16Speaker 2: Massavian's record, so he's expressed support for Hamas, he's expressed
- 27:22Speaker 2: support for Hesbola. They are both designated terrorists organizations. And
- 27:28Speaker 2: he paid tribute to Iranian General Cassam Solomoni in twenty twenty,
- 27:34Speaker 2: he attended the funeral of Solomoni. Now, Solomoni was the
- 27:38Speaker 2: leading state funder of terrorism. Solomoni is directly responsible for
- 27:44Speaker 2: the murder of over six hundred American military personnel in
- 27:49Speaker 2: the Middle East, and he was planning terrorist attacks all
- 27:51Speaker 2: over the world. And President Trump rightfully took Solomony out.
- 27:55Speaker 2: By the way, I introduced a resolution in the Senate
- 27:57Speaker 2: to pass the Senate with bipartisan support commending President Trump
- 28:01Speaker 2: for taking General Solomoni out. Well, Mussavian went to his funeral.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And not only that, but Musavian has also declined to
- 28:12Speaker 2: renounce his support for Hamas, declined to renounce his support
- 28:15Speaker 2: for Hesbela, and declined to renounce his support for Iran's fatwah,
- 28:20Speaker 2: which is a religious decree to assassinate the British American
- 28:24Speaker 2: writer Salman Rushdi. So this is someone who's on the
- 28:28Speaker 2: Princeton faculty who is there. By the way, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 2: when you had all of the anti Semitic and anti
- 28:34Speaker 2: Israel protests on college campuses at Princeton, they had a
- 28:39Speaker 2: Hesbela flag waving on the Princeton campus. It made me
- 28:42Speaker 2: very sad for Miama Mater. And to be clear, Hesbela,
- 28:46Speaker 2: in addition to waging war against Israel and killing countless
- 28:49Speaker 2: civilians there, in nineteen eighty three, Hesbelah did a bombing
- 28:53Speaker 2: murder two hundred and forty one US military members in Beirut.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I will say a current Princeton's Maximilian Mayor, who I
- 29:01Speaker 2: don't know, but he is the president of the Princeton
- 29:04Speaker 2: Tigers for Israel and he's an undergraduate right now, he
- 29:08Speaker 2: said quote. I commend Senator Cruz for raising urgent concerns
- 29:12Speaker 2: about Princeton's employment of Mussavian, whose career has been defined
- 29:16Speaker 2: by shilling for the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Credible reports linking Musavian to the oversight of Iranian dissident
- 29:24Speaker 2: assassinations in Europe, along with his endorsement of the fatwah
- 29:29Speaker 2: on Salomon Rushti, are deeply alarming. And you know what
- 29:32Speaker 2: this is a professor at an Ivy League university.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Urging Princeon to take action and do the right thing
- 29:38Speaker 1: here is so important, especially since some of these universities
- 29:40Speaker 1: refuse to protect students that are especially those that are Jewish.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 2: And Mussavian responded to me on Twitter today. He put
- 29:49Speaker 2: out a long tweet. I'm not going to read all
- 29:50Speaker 2: of it, but he said, Dear Senator Ted Cruz, yesterday
- 29:53Speaker 2: April twenty eighth, in your interview with Fox News, you
- 29:55Speaker 2: called for my dismissal from Princeton University and made baseless accusations.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Invite you to a public debate so that while hearing
- 30:02Speaker 2: responses to these claims, we can leave to the judgment
- 30:04Speaker 2: of the American people. The time and place of the
- 30:06Speaker 2: public debate will be entirely up to you. If you
- 30:08Speaker 2: do not accept this offer, I ask you to read
- 30:10Speaker 2: some of the books and articles I've written over my
- 30:12Speaker 2: fifteen years of academic work at Princeton University. I will
- 30:15Speaker 2: tell you I responded to that, and I declined his offer.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I said, I try not to be in the room
- 30:23Speaker 2: with people linked to Iranian terrorists who have murdered dozens
- 30:27Speaker 2: of dissidents. Your books are unreadable and the only debate
- 30:32Speaker 2: you should be having is with DHS agents, at the
- 30:35Speaker 2: end of which you should be deported.
- 30:38Speaker 1: As my mother in law would say, Senator, you're making
- 30:40Speaker 1: good choices with that role of not being the room
- 30:42Speaker 1: with people like that.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Well done, sir, well done.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Don't forget to share this podcast, especially this story, so
- 30:48Speaker 1: other people will hear about it.
- 30:49Speaker 3: It'll put pressure.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm sure I'm printing and maybe do the right thing here,
- 30:52Speaker 1: So wherever you are on social media, share it. Don't forget.
- 30:55Speaker 1: We do this show Monday, Wednesday Friday. You can also
- 30:57Speaker 1: grab my show on those in between days, the benf
- 31:00Speaker 1: ferguson podcasts wherever you get your podcasts. I'll keep you
- 31:02Speaker 1: up today on the latest breaking news and then center
- 31:05Speaker 1: I will see you back here on Friday morning.
