- 1:58Speaker 7: Come on, you'll think, uh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You all listen to the voice. Come on, dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 7: One and only Seve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:13Speaker 7: oh man, oh man, Ain't God good y'all. I'm gonna
- 2:17Speaker 7: say it again, Ain't God good y'all.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:22Speaker 7: I'm gonna share something with you this morning because it
- 2:24Speaker 7: happens to me all the time. As a matter of fact,
- 2:29Speaker 7: I got an email from my publicist just just this morning,
- 2:33Speaker 7: and you know something I've found.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And I've said this before.
- 2:38Speaker 7: You know you can never ever expect to change, or
- 2:45Speaker 7: to want to change, or make the attempt to do
- 2:47Speaker 7: better any any time you try to go forward.
- 2:51Speaker 2: In your life. Please know that we'll be opposition. It is.
- 2:58Speaker 7: It is an amazing thing right here. But the devil
- 3:01Speaker 7: is so busy, so busy all the time. His objective
- 3:06Speaker 7: is to see you fail or or and here's the
- 3:11Speaker 7: one you gotta be careful of.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Or want you to succeed at the wrong thing. You
- 3:17Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 3:19Speaker 7: You know there is such a thing as succeeding at
- 3:23Speaker 7: the wrong thing. If you know what I mean. And
- 3:26Speaker 7: you can ask many people who have done time before,
- 3:31Speaker 7: all people who are currently doing time, all people who
- 3:34Speaker 7: are about to do time or find out even worse.
- 3:37Speaker 2: About to lose their life.
- 3:38Speaker 7: They're even their mere existence because they are attempting to
- 3:43Speaker 7: become good at the wrong thing. And I don't have
- 3:47Speaker 7: to get into specifics about it, y'all can all think
- 3:51Speaker 7: of something I'm talking about. But there is a thing
- 3:54Speaker 7: of being good at the wrong thing. Well, the devil's
- 3:58Speaker 7: mission is to get you you to fail at anything
- 4:02Speaker 7: good and to create the false illusion in your life
- 4:06Speaker 7: that you're succeeding, that you're succeeding. Are you doing the
- 4:09Speaker 7: right thing when you and he both know you are
- 4:14Speaker 7: doing the wrong thing.
- 4:15Speaker 2: That's his mission.
- 4:18Speaker 7: So whenever you make the decision to do better, to improve,
- 4:24Speaker 7: to change, to want more, to put your life on
- 4:29Speaker 7: the right track, please know there is going to be opposition,
- 4:35Speaker 7: But do yourself a favor when the haters come, and
- 4:41Speaker 7: they will come.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They are inevitable. Today.
- 4:45Speaker 7: It is amazing how our world has turned. It is
- 4:49Speaker 7: amazing how the Internet has become a source of hate
- 4:52Speaker 7: when it was designed to be a place where people
- 4:54Speaker 7: could go for information to make your life simpler, but
- 4:59Speaker 7: it has turned not to be quite a haven for
- 5:02Speaker 7: people who are up to no good. Their child pornography
- 5:05Speaker 7: websites up. You just go, wait a minute, man, how
- 5:08Speaker 7: can this exist? You know, this is the United States
- 5:11Speaker 7: of America and there are trifling people out there who
- 5:16Speaker 7: have sites put up and with technology, sometimes they're traceable,
- 5:20Speaker 7: sometimes they don't.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:22Speaker 7: But people are allowed to exist under these freedom of
- 5:26Speaker 7: speech amendments that we have and so forth and so on.
- 5:30Speaker 7: But you know, when things come your way called haters,
- 5:37Speaker 7: they are going to come. Because this is now the
- 5:41Speaker 7: world and the climate that we live in. Everybody's not
- 5:44Speaker 7: gonna be happy for the news that Hey, guess what
- 5:47Speaker 7: he's changed, or hey guess what he's trying to do better,
- 5:50Speaker 7: or hey guess what she's decided in.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Her mind to be more with her life.
- 5:54Speaker 7: You know what, she gonna get out the system and
- 5:57Speaker 7: get to standing on her own two feet, go back
- 5:59Speaker 7: and get her education. Be a great example for a
- 6:02Speaker 7: cheer child. You know, hey, she decided to have her child.
- 6:05Speaker 7: I mean, it's so many things that people do right
- 6:08Speaker 7: that people turn into a negative because they are haters.
- 6:12Speaker 2: But do yourself a.
- 6:14Speaker 7: Favor when the haters come your way, keep pushing, Just
- 6:19Speaker 7: keep pushing. And I know it's difficult because you want
- 6:23Speaker 7: to turn around and address everything because you want to
- 6:27Speaker 7: set the record straight.
- 6:29Speaker 2: But no matter how straight.
- 6:30Speaker 7: You set it, for people who are in the hate business,
- 6:33Speaker 7: they are going to be about the business of hating
- 6:35Speaker 7: you anyway. All of you out there experience it on
- 6:38Speaker 7: some level or another. See I'm not talking about me.
- 6:42Speaker 7: I'm talking about everybody who experiences at your church, on
- 6:47Speaker 7: your job, in your home, from people who you thought
- 6:52Speaker 7: were your friends, from relatives, I mean, from people you
- 6:59Speaker 7: know don't know you. And here comes the hate. Do
- 7:03Speaker 7: yourself a favor and keep pushing. It is in your
- 7:06Speaker 7: best interest to ignore it and just keep moving. But
- 7:11Speaker 7: do not, and I repeat, do not, let them get
- 7:14Speaker 7: you down. Let me explain to you one thing that
- 7:17Speaker 7: I have grown to learn over the years, but I
- 7:20Speaker 7: have to reteach it to myself all the time. Haters
- 7:24Speaker 7: are non productive people. Haters are not decision makers. They're really,
- 7:34Speaker 7: really not. I don't care if you being hated on
- 7:37Speaker 7: from somebody in a supervisory capacity over you.
- 7:42Speaker 2: They're not the decision maker of your life.
- 7:45Speaker 7: They have this temporary place that allows them a false
- 7:49Speaker 7: sense of power over you.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Don't acknowledge that in them.
- 7:55Speaker 7: The only person that has power with you and o
- 8:00Speaker 7: you is a person you allow to. Martin Luther King
- 8:03Speaker 7: made a statement one time. He said, a person can't
- 8:06Speaker 7: ride your back unless you bend over. Don't bend over,
- 8:13Speaker 7: thou know back riders in your life unless you bend over,
- 8:17Speaker 7: stand up straight, and they can't stay on. So when
- 8:21Speaker 7: you have them in your life, whether they're in a
- 8:22Speaker 7: supervisory capacity, shake them. They are non productive people. They
- 8:27Speaker 7: are not decision makers. They are negative and they cannot
- 8:31Speaker 7: affect your plans or position in life unless you give
- 8:37Speaker 7: them life by addressing them all the time. Don't even
- 8:40Speaker 7: address them. Keep moving, keep your life on track. Know
- 8:44Speaker 7: that you are a child of God, that God loves you.
- 8:48Speaker 7: No matter what you've done. You can make a mistake,
- 8:51Speaker 7: and God is a god of chances. God will give
- 8:54Speaker 7: you time and time and time again. To get yourself together.
- 8:58Speaker 7: He has done it for me, He has done it
- 9:01Speaker 7: for millions of others. He will do the same thing
- 9:04Speaker 7: for you. Don't let the devil fool you that you've
- 9:06Speaker 7: made a mistake so great that God won't forgive you
- 9:09Speaker 7: for it. Because God is a god of chances, and
- 9:14Speaker 7: I wish I want people to remember that. Man, God
- 9:17Speaker 7: is a redeemer, no matter how many. If he's given
- 9:21Speaker 7: you eight chances, he will give you the ninth chance
- 9:25Speaker 7: if you go to him honestly and earnestly and really
- 9:28Speaker 7: mean what you say God is to get your life together.
- 9:32Speaker 8: God, you're listening.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen, let me have your divided detention.
- 9:40Speaker 7: This is welcome time, Welcome to a new day. What
- 9:43Speaker 7: a blessing, What an awesome blessing it is. Man, you
- 9:46Speaker 7: got it. You gotta think about that, y'all. Please don't
- 9:49Speaker 7: start your day without giving due credit and honor to
- 9:51Speaker 7: the almighty God, who is the creator of all good things.
- 9:54Speaker 7: And the start of a new day is number one.
- 9:57Speaker 7: I mean, man, we don't have to be here, as
- 9:59Speaker 7: tough as it might sing. Sometime at least we hear
- 10:02Speaker 7: what about the chance you've been given to participate in
- 10:06Speaker 7: this day.
- 10:06Speaker 2: That's what I'm grateful for.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Man, I'm grateful for waking me up and closed in
- 10:10Speaker 7: my right mind. I'm just appreciative of the fact that
- 10:13Speaker 7: I have a measure of health. You might have some
- 10:16Speaker 7: health issues, but the key word is you got some health. Hello,
- 10:22Speaker 7: get appreciative and remember this. In the words of ill
- 10:25Speaker 7: loss Via Hart, prayer change this thing.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Now. I'm pretty sure you've.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Heard that by several other one hundred thousand people, But
- 10:32Speaker 7: the one that said it to me first that mattered
- 10:34Speaker 7: with my beloved Mama boy prayer change his things, and
- 10:38Speaker 7: it showed. Do remember that Steve Robin Martin show Sheldon
- 10:42Speaker 7: Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior in the legend
- 10:45Speaker 7: that is nephew Tummy Junior.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yes, sir, what's going on?
- 10:49Speaker 9: Man?
- 10:49Speaker 2: You got your hat on straight today, got the bill
- 10:52Speaker 2: on it?
- 10:53Speaker 7: Yet?
- 10:53Speaker 2: What's up? Go good man?
- 10:55Speaker 10: Because I finally won an argument. I don't even don't
- 10:58Speaker 10: I'm so happy I saw something my way. That is
- 11:02Speaker 10: that the first in almost two years.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Look at him?
- 11:06Speaker 2: You looky boy? Can I ask you something?
- 11:09Speaker 11: No?
- 11:09Speaker 7: Yeah, how small of an issue was it? Because that's
- 11:13Speaker 7: usually what it is. It's very small. It's so small.
- 11:20Speaker 10: But I said, I just don't feel like going to
- 11:23Speaker 10: no restaurant.
- 11:24Speaker 2: You feel like Papa. She said, I could do that.
- 11:28Speaker 10: I said, hey, hey, oh, celebrate your wins.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Take them how to cut Junior.
- 11:35Speaker 7: I don't want to like down playing another feel bad?
- 11:38Speaker 7: But you do know you still went to a restaurant.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Don't you.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's the one I choke. Look, let me
- 11:46Speaker 2: tell you something. You should have seen what I put
- 11:48Speaker 2: that drive through. I lean in that window so hard.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I need a number nine family meal.
- 11:54Speaker 10: Mass potatoes at all dark gimping up a.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Damn thing, Junius, Juliet. They got mash potatoes and popeyes?
- 12:05Speaker 7: What them little light wood potatoes they be putting out there,
- 12:09Speaker 7: at them fast foods that that look that look kind
- 12:13Speaker 7: of watery, You know how it don't be really no
- 12:16Speaker 7: solid real mashed potatoes. They look a little bit like
- 12:20Speaker 7: damn there, like cream or wheats without the balls in it.
- 12:24Speaker 2: You know, No, I ain't been. I ain't been in
- 12:30Speaker 2: a while. I had ain't.
- 12:32Speaker 12: Man, We need we need to get together and take
- 12:35Speaker 12: you on a regular trip. Just go do it regular stuff.
- 12:38Speaker 12: We just need to take you on regular trip.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Yeah, they tell you what I did do though, that
- 12:44Speaker 7: I went to play golf, right, and I was on
- 12:46Speaker 7: a tour bus. I went to play golf, and I
- 12:48Speaker 7: stopped at a gas station that had like like forty
- 12:55Speaker 7: pumps in it. Weren't no BUCkies or nothing, but stopped.
- 12:57Speaker 7: I have about forty pumps yea, and got out.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And went in there.
- 13:01Speaker 7: Who Lord, have mercy saw stuff I hadn't? They still
- 13:05Speaker 7: selling slim gyms at the checkout.
- 13:07Speaker 11: Count at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:11Speaker 1: We'll run that prank back with the nephew right after.
- 13:14Speaker 7: This, and they had loose bananas for sale too.
- 13:19Speaker 8: You're listening morning show.
- 13:22Speaker 11: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:24Speaker 11: prank back. Nephew, what you got?
- 13:27Speaker 2: You prayed for a job.
- 13:30Speaker 12: You prayed for a job, cat dog, if you could,

- 13:40Speaker 12: a Carolyn. Please Hi, Caron listen. My name is Lawrence.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Lawrence.
- 13:46Speaker 12: I actually go to the same church you do. I
- 13:48Speaker 12: saw you last Sunday where you stood up in the
- 13:51Speaker 12: church and I heard that you were talking about you
- 13:53Speaker 12: were going through some bad times or your job supposedly
- 13:58Speaker 12: got rid of the department that you were and you're
- 14:01Speaker 12: now seeking a new type of work, Am I right? Yes,
- 14:04Speaker 12: just just work period because you're looking for a new
- 14:07Speaker 12: occupation and you I was there when you asked everybody
- 14:10Speaker 12: to pray for you.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Have you Have you found anything yet?
- 14:14Speaker 13: I haven't. I've been praying. We prayed again today. I
- 14:17Speaker 13: asked for the church's prayers again today, and I there.
- 14:21Speaker 13: Every things gonna work out because you know he said
- 14:23Speaker 13: you take one step, you're gonna take too. That's right,
- 14:26Speaker 13: and I know it's going to happen.
- 14:27Speaker 14: I know.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well, listen, I think I may be able to be
- 14:30Speaker 2: of some help to you.
- 14:31Speaker 12: I actually own my own company, and I'm thinking that
- 14:34Speaker 12: you could be the perfect person for a position that
- 14:37Speaker 12: I have available. Uh now, what what type of work
- 14:39Speaker 12: would you doing in the past. Give me some of
- 14:41Speaker 12: your job qualifications.
- 14:43Speaker 13: I'm an executive secretary, administrative assistant, anything like that. Who
- 14:47Speaker 13: is the head? Uh, you're gonna take the arm star
- 14:50Speaker 13: short hand. I want to do it all. If you
- 14:52Speaker 13: just said me what you need and I can do it.
- 14:54Speaker 12: Church.
- 14:54Speaker 13: Have your executives to come through the office, anything that's needed,
- 14:58Speaker 13: travel expensive, That's what I do.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Okay, not good too. What type of hours are you
- 15:04Speaker 2: used to? Working?
- 15:05Speaker 13: Nine to five? Sometimes I'll come in at hey, I
- 15:08Speaker 13: don't have I probably coming at eight. I'm coming even
- 15:10Speaker 13: earlier if you want me to come in earlier.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Are you opposed to working at night?
- 15:13Speaker 13: No, I don't know I'm working at night. I mean
- 15:16Speaker 13: it just it just appears, you know, right, My burgus
- 15:18Speaker 13: can't be choosing I ask him and being given to me. Okay, well,
- 15:22Speaker 13: what kind.
- 15:23Speaker 12: Of looking at have a I have an offer for
- 15:26Speaker 12: you that it would be Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
- 15:29Speaker 12: You will only be working three days a week for me, Okay, No,
- 15:32Speaker 12: I just you.
- 15:33Speaker 13: Know I was looking for separate a female hours or
- 15:35Speaker 13: female days any like, full time ill a family.
- 15:38Speaker 12: Well today, right right right, I understand, But listen, I
- 15:42Speaker 12: think the actual amount will suffice for that. Now, I'm
- 15:45Speaker 12: going to offer you seven hundred and fifty dollars per
- 15:49Speaker 12: night for three nights a week. That's that's two thousand
- 15:53Speaker 12: and fifty dollars for those three days.
- 15:55Speaker 2: For one week. Sure, aunred Lune, seven hundred and fifty
- 16:02Speaker 2: dollars a.
- 16:02Speaker 13: Night, and you're making around two.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You're making so a week, ma'am.
- 16:09Speaker 12: And if you do the math on that that that
- 16:11Speaker 12: adds up to about nine thousand dollars four months.
- 16:16Speaker 13: For good to be true. But now I put it
- 16:18Speaker 13: all in his hands. I turned it over that we
- 16:21Speaker 13: started it. I did it, and and you turn on
- 16:23Speaker 13: seven hundred fifty dollars A nine. Okay, I mean what
- 16:26Speaker 13: I'm doing checking the books, you know, because I did
- 16:29Speaker 13: the accountant too.
- 16:30Speaker 12: Well, let me say this now. The reason why I
- 16:32Speaker 12: say this at night is because I own a nightclub
- 16:36Speaker 12: and and you would be working at the night club
- 16:38Speaker 12: for me. So you will put in about four or
- 16:40Speaker 12: five hours every night, and for three nights a week
- 16:44Speaker 12: like I stayed at Thursday, Friday, Saturday. And and of
- 16:47Speaker 12: course I'll pay you seven hundred and fifty. Matter of fact,
- 16:49Speaker 12: i'll actually pay you your first two weeks in advance.
- 16:54Speaker 13: And I need that.
- 16:55Speaker 12: No, I'm sure you you know you've you've lost your balance.
- 16:57Speaker 12: You need to get back on your feet and everything.
- 16:59Speaker 13: Yes, yes, yes, okay, so so exactly what that you know?
- 17:04Speaker 13: I'll be doing it because I'm sure, like I said,
- 17:06Speaker 13: I can do office work. I'm good. That's not counting.
- 17:09Speaker 13: You tell me a quick front door, I can keep
- 17:12Speaker 13: your books going right?
- 17:13Speaker 12: Well, no, not necessarily. I don't need you to work
- 17:15Speaker 12: the front door. I'm actually going to have you in
- 17:18Speaker 12: the club working. Okay, So I mean how you how's
- 17:23Speaker 12: your physical condition? Are you able to get around? And
- 17:26Speaker 12: you don't get tired quick?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Do you?
- 17:28Speaker 11: Now?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Are you in good physical shape?
- 17:29Speaker 7: Yes?
- 17:29Speaker 13: Someone really good shape. I don't get tied quick at all.
- 17:33Speaker 13: You gonna do something like be able to broad tenders
- 17:35Speaker 13: or something and work the bad and make sure the
- 17:37Speaker 13: money and nobody's stealing money from you something.
- 17:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, you're not at the bar either.
- 17:42Speaker 12: See, because what I'm gonna do now, have you ever
- 17:43Speaker 12: done anything like, you know, anything close to dance or
- 17:47Speaker 12: anything like that.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Have you done that in the past?
- 17:49Speaker 13: Well, I do a baala when I was younger. Uh,
- 17:53Speaker 13: and m a d daughter every once.
- 17:54Speaker 9: In a while.
- 17:55Speaker 13: You know, you're doing a dancing here and there.
- 17:57Speaker 12: Okay, Well that's good because see what what I wanted
- 17:59Speaker 12: you to do with I want you to do a
- 18:01Speaker 12: little bit of dancing in the club.
- 18:03Speaker 13: You taking that ballroom dancing or something? And you mean
- 18:06Speaker 13: the teacher, I don't know how to do the bathroom dance.
- 18:08Speaker 13: So I can't wait for nobody on that stuff like that.
- 18:10Speaker 12: No, I'm not asking you to do any uh ballroom
- 18:14Speaker 12: dance and anything like that. What I need you to
- 18:15Speaker 12: do it I want you to dance on the pole.
- 18:19Speaker 12: On the pole, See I have a strip club. I
- 18:21Speaker 12: want you to dance on the pole.
- 18:23Speaker 13: A pattern the res dancing.
- 18:26Speaker 9: That par well.
- 18:27Speaker 12: Actually I own the Silk Stocking, which is a strip club.
- 18:35Speaker 13: Mind, I am brancing my part for mere body. We
- 18:38Speaker 13: can set that pair of mister room name.
- 18:45Speaker 2: But don't you want to make this money? I got
- 18:47Speaker 2: seven hundred and fifty dollars a night for you.
- 18:49Speaker 13: I don't know there's some money you tell me right
- 18:52Speaker 13: now in a pair of dance. We can put that
- 18:54Speaker 13: pair of shove pep to dance. You gots calling me

- 20:40Speaker 11: Lighthouse Church in Houston. In Henderson Pastor Keyan Henderson Pastor
- 20:48Speaker 11: Keyhan's new book is called Lazy Love. It is available
- 20:51Speaker 11: now and we've invited him on the show to tell
- 20:53Speaker 11: us all about it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Lazy Love. That's at the top of the hour. Right now,
- 21:00Speaker 1: I'm laughing.
- 21:02Speaker 11: Right now, it's time to ask the clo or Chief
- 21:04Speaker 11: Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This is from Cammy and Lexington
- 21:08Speaker 11: Cammy Wrights. I almost had sex with my coworker's man,
- 21:12Speaker 11: but something was off, so I didn't do it. I
- 21:15Speaker 11: just found out that they're dating and he did some
- 21:19Speaker 11: things that he shouldn't have done. If he's got a girlfriend.
- 21:22Speaker 11: Should I warn my coworker about her boyfriend?
- 21:27Speaker 7: What You're gonna tell him that you almost had sex
- 21:29Speaker 7: with it? What is this warning fitness sound like? Because
- 21:33Speaker 7: the warning because she ain't gonna take it as a
- 21:36Speaker 7: warning about him.
- 21:37Speaker 2: She gonna take it as a warning about you.
- 21:40Speaker 7: Hey, I don't know if you know this, hill, but
- 21:42Speaker 7: I almost slept with him, and let me tell you
- 21:45Speaker 7: what he said.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Excuse me back up.
- 21:49Speaker 7: I don't know if you've ever told a woman something before.
- 21:53Speaker 7: I have, but usually when you tell a woman something,
- 21:57Speaker 7: they usually pick up on something else. In the tale
- 22:02Speaker 7: that you wasn't trying to tell the experts at that.
- 22:06Speaker 7: So if I was you, now you give you another
- 22:08Speaker 7: woman you ought to notice. But I'm just telling you
- 22:11Speaker 7: as a man. You know how many times I tried
- 22:13Speaker 7: to tell my wife something, but what I was trying
- 22:16Speaker 7: to tell her she picked up something else in the
- 22:18Speaker 7: tail and ended up end up telling on my damn self.
- 22:22Speaker 7: Uh Uh, So if I was, you, shut your damn mouth.
- 22:27Speaker 7: He did wasn't something he wasn't supposed to do, and
- 22:29Speaker 7: he was about to do something you wasn't supposed to do.
- 22:32Speaker 7: Now you can go over there and tell if you
- 22:33Speaker 7: want to go ahead, go ahead. You ain't gonna believe it, though,
- 22:40Speaker 7: Please write us back and let us know how it went.
- 22:44Speaker 4: All right?
- 22:46Speaker 1: All right, this is from Hannah and Norcross.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Hannah, she's gonna set my cubicle on fire. And all
- 22:52Speaker 7: I did was I told you, go.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Ahead, Hannah says.
- 22:57Speaker 11: My boyfriend and I moved in together, and I planned
- 22:59Speaker 11: to buy new betting for us, but his mama took
- 23:02Speaker 11: it upon herself and bought a bunch of stuff for us.
- 23:05Speaker 11: I don't like her style at all. How do I
- 23:08Speaker 11: set boundaries with her? So this won't happen again.
- 23:12Speaker 7: First of all, say mama, thank you so much. It
- 23:15Speaker 7: was so kind. It was just a kind gesture, that's
- 23:18Speaker 7: all it was. Now, you know, old people ain't got
- 23:20Speaker 7: good taste. She done went down there though. Just look,
- 23:23Speaker 7: Just say hey, thank you, ma'am, really appreciate it, and
- 23:26Speaker 7: then put it away and going and buy what you wanted.
- 23:29Speaker 7: A boy, she a't gonna come over there checking your
- 23:30Speaker 7: bedding and all that. Just go on and thank her
- 23:33Speaker 7: for it, you know, But don't mess it up by
- 23:36Speaker 7: saying that ain't my style, that ain't what I want.
- 23:38Speaker 7: So just say thank you for the nice gesture, and
- 23:41Speaker 7: that'll keep the relationship cool between you and her and
- 23:44Speaker 7: you and him.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Don't go over the.
- 23:46Speaker 7: Front of this man's mama talking about your mama picking
- 23:48Speaker 7: out all this pole mess.
- 23:50Speaker 8: Don't say that, please don't.
- 23:53Speaker 11: Hannah and Norcross all right, Chandria and the DMV says,
- 23:58Speaker 11: my husband's new job gave him another phone that he
- 24:01Speaker 11: claims is strictly for work, but I caught him texting
- 24:05Speaker 11: on it and looking at TikTok. I don't even have
- 24:08Speaker 11: the phone number. How do I find out if it's
- 24:10Speaker 11: really for work? Is he trying to trick me.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you something. Do you feel tricked?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Sounds like it, doesn't it.
- 24:22Speaker 7: You know he texting on it and he got TikTok.
- 24:26Speaker 7: You know, my job gave me a phone that's just
- 24:28Speaker 7: for work. Okay, all right, alrighty. You know you do
- 24:41Speaker 7: know you can get another line on your current phone,
- 24:44Speaker 7: don't you? You know you can have a business line
- 24:50Speaker 7: and a personal line on your same phone. You can
- 24:53Speaker 7: get two different numbers.
- 24:54Speaker 2: On one phone. I'm just you know.
- 24:58Speaker 7: You don't need two phone. I don't know what to
- 25:04Speaker 7: tell you, ma'am.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Is he trying to trick me? Now?
- 25:09Speaker 7: No, he ain't trying to trick you. The job gave
- 25:13Speaker 7: him a phone because you know, the job say, hey, look,
- 25:15Speaker 7: when you relaxing, you need to look on tiktoking. We
- 25:18Speaker 7: won't see the baby to look on it without using
- 25:20Speaker 7: your battery up.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yep, that's what the job had said.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, what the job say?
- 25:26Speaker 1: All right?
- 25:27Speaker 11: Last one's dude, Last ones. This is from Caleb in Brooklyn.
- 25:32Speaker 11: Caleb writes, why does my wife need to know where
- 25:35Speaker 11: I am at all times? I'm fifty nine years old
- 25:38Speaker 11: and overweight, so I'm flattered that she thinks I can
- 25:41Speaker 11: still pull women, but I'm not. I would love to
- 25:45Speaker 11: leave the house without her calling to chit chat.
- 25:48Speaker 1: How do I get through to her?
- 25:51Speaker 7: I don't know what tell you, man, I don't know
- 25:53Speaker 7: what to tell you. She's trying to keep track of
- 25:57Speaker 7: your fat ass. That's all they had none to it.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Over weight.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Huh he said overweight?
- 26:04Speaker 2: That means fat ass. Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 7: If a man called himself overweight, the rest of us
- 26:10Speaker 7: know his ass is fat. We already already know that.
- 26:14Speaker 7: Now women, we don't do that to women. But if
- 26:17Speaker 7: you a man and you say I'm overweight, your ass
- 26:20Speaker 7: is fat? Now you wanna use fat as the excuse
- 26:24Speaker 7: for your wife not to call you, And that's not
- 26:28Speaker 7: letting them. Skinny men get these calls, dumb ball he
- 26:34Speaker 7: hit me and getting these calls. Whole men get these calls.
- 26:40Speaker 7: Rich men get these calls. Dog, What do you want?
- 26:46Speaker 7: How you thought you was gonna be married? And ain't
- 26:51Speaker 7: nobody gonna call you and see where you at?
- 26:55Speaker 4: Time?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Is wanta go somewhere and don't have to say where
- 26:58Speaker 2: he at?
- 26:59Speaker 7: Junior won't go somewhere and don't have to say what here?
- 27:02Speaker 7: We want to go somewhere and don't have to say
- 27:04Speaker 7: where I'm at. The good thing about me is my
- 27:06Speaker 7: ass is at.
- 27:07Speaker 8: Work, so we know where you are.
- 27:11Speaker 7: And then when I ain't at work, I'm at the
- 27:12Speaker 7: house trying to rest, so I can tell my ass
- 27:14Speaker 7: back to work. And then why I'm going anyway? Why
- 27:20Speaker 7: I'm going anyway? B I can't goa know damn well
- 27:27Speaker 7: without some body.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Hey, let me tell you something.
- 27:33Speaker 7: I was in a store overseas, right, and as soon
- 27:37Speaker 7: as I walked in, the guy recognized me, took me
- 27:39Speaker 7: to his back room, broke out the champagne, bought it
- 27:43Speaker 7: in little pastries and everything nice.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And then.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Somebody came in there and said that I didn't know
- 27:50Speaker 7: it didn't work at the store.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Are you Steve Harvey? I said no.
- 27:53Speaker 7: That guy came back in there, took all that champagne,
- 27:55Speaker 7: picked them pastries up.
- 28:00Speaker 2: In the neighborhom my, damn self. I ain't know what.
- 28:05Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Thank you.
- 28:07Speaker 11: Colo coming up at the top of the hour, we
- 28:10Speaker 11: will hear from the pastor of the Lighthouse Church in Houston,
- 28:13Speaker 11: Pastor Kean Henderson.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening.
- 28:19Speaker 7: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. As promised, we got a
- 28:24Speaker 7: special guest this morning for the first time.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Now.
- 28:28Speaker 7: I met him for the first time this year my
- 28:30Speaker 7: golf tournament. But I felt like I knew him because
- 28:34Speaker 7: I had been following him on Instagram and I just,
- 28:40Speaker 7: I'm always was amazed at a lot of his messaging
- 28:44Speaker 7: and I was just a fan of his, little did
- 28:47Speaker 7: I know, And he was a fan of mine, which
- 28:50Speaker 7: I didn't know. And so when he came to the
- 28:51Speaker 7: golf tournament we met. Now what made our meeting unique
- 28:55Speaker 7: The first time we met was after the golf tournament
- 28:57Speaker 7: was over. We went out on the golf cart on
- 28:59Speaker 7: the golf course and we sat and we talked for
- 29:01Speaker 7: about an hour. I have never ever talked to anybody
- 29:05Speaker 7: on a golf course for an hour in my life ever,
- 29:10Speaker 7: And we wasn't playing. We've been in touch with each
- 29:14Speaker 7: other ever since. It has been beneficial to the both
- 29:16Speaker 7: of us. This morning, he is a special guest of
- 29:20Speaker 7: the show. This is Pastor key On. He's a best
- 29:24Speaker 7: selling author. He is the senior pastor of the Lighthouse
- 29:27Speaker 7: Church and Ministries in Houston, Texas, and he's he's got
- 29:32Speaker 7: a new book out and this book just came out. Everybody.
- 29:35Speaker 7: The book is called Lazy Love, and he's joining us
- 29:39Speaker 7: this morning to talk about this book. I think it's impactful.
- 29:42Speaker 7: It's gonna be able to help a lot of people.
- 29:44Speaker 7: So please, welcome to the show for the first time,
- 29:47Speaker 7: my dude, my man, Pastor Keon Henderson, Welcome.
- 29:53Speaker 15: We thank y'all for having me. That introduction coming from
- 29:57Speaker 15: the man himself. I'm literally watching family see now, So
- 30:02Speaker 15: please much thank you.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Continue to need you to watch it for at least
- 30:06Speaker 2: two more years.
- 30:07Speaker 7: I got a couple of things I'm working on, and
- 30:10Speaker 7: just two more years and then y'all can do what
- 30:12Speaker 7: you want to do with family.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Few key.
- 30:14Speaker 15: How you feeling man, I'm doing great, sir.
- 30:17Speaker 2: How are you doing well? Hey? Listen, man, you got
- 30:19Speaker 2: this new book out.
- 30:20Speaker 7: The book is called Lazy Love, and the underlying I
- 30:26Speaker 7: guess the subtitle of it is recognizing and reversing the
- 30:30Speaker 7: four threats to any successful relationship. The four threats to
- 30:36Speaker 7: any successful relationship. And this book is a guide for
- 30:39Speaker 7: strengthening just all types of relationships, whatever you're in, whether
- 30:43Speaker 7: it's family, job, you know, love, whatever it is. So
- 30:48Speaker 7: talk to us about this book, bro, What what what?
- 30:51Speaker 7: What is the takeaway for us here?
- 30:54Speaker 15: So, so again, thank you for having me so recognizing
- 30:58Speaker 15: and reversing the four threats a successful relationship. You know,
- 31:03Speaker 15: when I when I was writing this, it really didn't
- 31:06Speaker 15: start off as a book. It started off as a
- 31:07Speaker 15: sermon on a Sunday that just so happens to fall
- 31:11Speaker 15: on or near Valentine's Day. And I thought, well, let
- 31:14Speaker 15: me just preach something about love.
- 31:17Speaker 3: And I was.
- 31:19Speaker 15: I was reading the scripture, and the Bible said in
- 31:22Speaker 15: Hebrew six it said he will not forget your works and.
- 31:26Speaker 3: The love you have shown.
- 31:27Speaker 15: And then the last part of the verse said he
- 31:30Speaker 15: does not want you to become lazy. And that concept
- 31:33Speaker 15: just hit me. Is like, you know, you know, you
- 31:36Speaker 15: think about lazy when it comes to work, you think
- 31:38Speaker 15: about lazy when it comes to your dreams. But I've
- 31:41Speaker 15: never heard anybody talk about being lazy as related to love.
- 31:45Speaker 15: And one of the translations said for lazy, it said sluggish.
- 31:50Speaker 15: And then I looked up sluggish it said slow. This
- 31:53Speaker 15: is when the idea popped off in my head. I
- 31:56Speaker 15: looked up a flaw found out that the flow off
- 32:00Speaker 15: doesn't move slow because it's a slow animal. It moves
- 32:05Speaker 15: slow because of the diet it has. So the slack
- 32:08Speaker 15: is almost drunk when it eats its leaf, And that's.
- 32:11Speaker 3: The concept I thought.
- 32:13Speaker 14: Is it possible that we could be addicted to the
- 32:15Speaker 14: thing that makes us love improperly? Is it possible that
- 32:20Speaker 14: we have traumas that have been passed down to us,
- 32:23Speaker 14: things that we've digested, are ingested but not yet digested.
- 32:27Speaker 14: If you are loved imperfectly by a parent, then they
- 32:31Speaker 14: pass that love on to you. And only thing you
- 32:32Speaker 14: know how.
- 32:33Speaker 3: To do is you know how to love the way
- 32:34Speaker 3: you will love.
- 32:35Speaker 15: And so we're all in this imperfect love cycle trying
- 32:38Speaker 15: to get it right. We either withhold our hearts because
- 32:42Speaker 15: we're afraid of it.
- 32:44Speaker 3: We become.
- 32:47Speaker 15: Frustrated because we're not loved the way we want to.
- 32:51Speaker 15: We struggle to accept affection because we didn't have it
- 32:55Speaker 15: growing up, and we confuse sex with intimacy, And those
- 32:58Speaker 15: really are the for threats that keep all of us
- 33:01Speaker 15: in experience of love on a high level.
- 33:03Speaker 2: I have a board my father raised me this way.
- 33:07Speaker 7: What I found was my son's actually needed something else.
- 33:12Speaker 7: But I was just duplicating what was done to me,
- 33:15Speaker 7: so I could see that was a form of of
- 33:17Speaker 7: of lazy love.
- 33:19Speaker 15: You see, Yeah, because you can't give somebody what you
- 33:21Speaker 15: don't have. My father's God rest his soul. My father
- 33:27Speaker 15: had me when he was forty two years old, and
- 33:32Speaker 15: my mom gave me permission to ship. My father was
- 33:35Speaker 15: still married.
- 33:36Speaker 3: You know, he had me. It was a situation. It
- 33:40Speaker 3: is what it is.
- 33:41Speaker 15: My mom's the greatest mom in the world. I love
- 33:43Speaker 15: it a life, and anybody say anything about it, I forget.
- 33:47Speaker 15: I'm a pastor and choke that's another story. But I know,
- 33:51Speaker 15: I knoweet. I've got this thing where I was so
- 33:58Speaker 15: mad mister Harvey, my father all my life because the
- 34:02Speaker 15: dude wasn't there for me. And it wasn't until I
- 34:05Speaker 15: got to be forty two years old and became a
- 34:08Speaker 15: married man and got in my own relationships and found out, No,
- 34:13Speaker 15: you can't judge nobody when you twenty and they was fifty.
- 34:18Speaker 15: You gotta wait until you get in their situation and
- 34:20Speaker 15: circumstance to find out that twenty year olds don't make
- 34:23Speaker 15: the same decisions that forty year olds make. You're not
- 34:26Speaker 15: under the same kind of pressure. And so here we
- 34:28Speaker 15: are hating somebody, but we don't have the experience. The
- 34:31Speaker 15: experience will show you that you got to have more
- 34:34Speaker 15: love and grace for people. And sometimes you gotta wait
- 34:37Speaker 15: until you arrive at their mile market before you can.
- 34:40Speaker 14: Judge them for the decision they made on the journey.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Right there, that's where we will live at.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Hey, Pastor key hang on one second, man, We're gonna
- 34:49Speaker 7: come back with more with Pastor key On. And the
- 34:51Speaker 7: book is called Lazy Love. Everybody is available on Amazon.

- 34:57Speaker 7: be back to talk to Pastor key On here Innocent
- 35:00Speaker 7: from Lighthouse Church over in Houston.
- 35:02Speaker 8: Right after this, you're listening Morning show hight.
- 35:07Speaker 7: Everybody, We're back and we have our special guests this
- 35:09Speaker 7: morning as the senior pastor of the Lighthouse Church and
- 35:12Speaker 7: Ministries in Houston, Pastor Kean Henderson. He's got a book
- 35:16Speaker 7: out called Lazy Love and what is lazy Love? And
- 35:19Speaker 7: how we all may suffer from it? Unknowingly I know
- 35:22Speaker 7: I have, And so he's back with us.
- 35:24Speaker 2: So, uh, let me come out up here for a second. Firstball,

- 35:37Speaker 12: with him. My eye on the card too, So I
- 35:39Speaker 12: don't do that. Don't come in here and still in

- 36:17Speaker 2: Hell, I'm to get.
- 36:18Speaker 7: On here and play brand new with y'all this, hey man,
- 36:23Speaker 7: let me ask you something. Do you find that most
- 36:26Speaker 7: people in some form of fashion suffer from lazy love?
- 36:30Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 36:31Speaker 15: And you know what I would venture to say, all
- 36:34Speaker 15: at some point in time. I mean, we all get
- 36:36Speaker 15: it right sometimes, but we're all in perfect and so
- 36:39Speaker 15: anybody who thinks that they get it right every time
- 36:42Speaker 15: is lying to the person they're.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Talking to and themselves.
- 36:45Speaker 15: And here's the thing about love. Most people only know
- 36:48Speaker 15: how to love people the way they want to be
- 36:51Speaker 15: loved themselves. But the problem is, you can't love somebody
- 36:56Speaker 15: the way you want to be loved, you have to
- 36:59Speaker 15: love the person the way they need to be loved.
- 37:02Speaker 15: For example, imagine walking inside a restaurant and the chef says, today,
- 37:09Speaker 15: I'm only serving fish, doing shred cocktail.
- 37:14Speaker 3: He says that to me.
- 37:15Speaker 15: I got to raise my hand and say, sir, I'm
- 37:17Speaker 15: allergic to seafood. So you're getting ready to feed me something.
- 37:21Speaker 15: It may be convenient for you, but it's gonna kill me.
- 37:24Speaker 15: So we're all we're chefs who don't seek the approval
- 37:30Speaker 15: of the person who's getting ready to eat.
- 37:34Speaker 3: What's the diet that's good for you? You know, what's
- 37:38Speaker 3: the love?
- 37:38Speaker 15: So I could buy you a gift, but maybe your
- 37:41Speaker 15: father was rich, so gifts don't mean anything to eat.
- 37:45Speaker 15: I could give you physical touch, but you might not
- 37:47Speaker 15: want to be touched. You may need words of affirmation.
- 37:50Speaker 15: So a good chef doesn't.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Just make you eat whatever they cook.
- 37:55Speaker 15: So a person who loves you has to find out
- 37:58Speaker 15: what are your allergies? Because I've got to love you
- 38:02Speaker 15: in a way that won't make you sick. I gotta
- 38:04Speaker 15: love you in the way that won't make you fearful.
- 38:07Speaker 15: I have to love you in a way that won't
- 38:09Speaker 15: make you resentful. My mother always told me, she said, son,
- 38:13Speaker 15: you can give without loving, but you cannot love without
- 38:17Speaker 15: giving it.
- 38:18Speaker 7: I know that's right. Hey, hey, pastor key hang on
- 38:21Speaker 7: one second. We're gonna come back with one break. We'll
- 38:23Speaker 7: be right. I never heard today.
- 38:28Speaker 8: You're listening har Morning Show.
- 38:31Speaker 2: All right, everybody, we're back in our special guests.
- 38:33Speaker 7: This morning's pastor ke On Henderson, who is the senior
- 38:37Speaker 7: pastor at the Lighthouse Church of Ministries in Houston, Texas.
- 38:41Speaker 7: His book is out now. It's called Lazy Love. We've
- 38:43Speaker 7: been talking about it and it's available on Amazon. It's
- 38:46Speaker 7: available on all download platforms. You can get it in
- 38:50Speaker 7: Bonds and Nobles targets called Lazy Love. We're gonna put
- 38:53Speaker 7: this Steve Harvey Nation behind it and get this thing
- 38:57Speaker 7: on the best seller list. Uh so, but I want
- 38:59Speaker 7: to They talked to you past the key On because
- 39:02Speaker 7: you got the Lighthouse, the church in Houston that you
- 39:07Speaker 7: passed them. It suffered was because I was following it online.
- 39:11Speaker 7: You know, you suffered a huge hit with that storm man.
- 39:15Speaker 7: So what what what? How's how's the church coming? Is
- 39:18Speaker 7: that chance to rebuild it?
- 39:19Speaker 9: What?
- 39:19Speaker 2: What? What's going on with the church itself.
- 39:22Speaker 15: Yeah, we be honest with you.
- 39:24Speaker 3: It's hard.
- 39:24Speaker 15: We're going through it. I mean, you know, the building
- 39:27Speaker 15: was hit pretty bad and we haven't been in it
- 39:32Speaker 15: since July eighth. We have no floors, no carpet, the
- 39:37Speaker 15: drywall had to because there's no ceilings. It was water
- 39:40Speaker 15: in one hundred percent of that building. Every square into
- 39:43Speaker 15: that building was covered in water. And so right now
- 39:47Speaker 15: we're renting Lakewood Church, thank God to them. We're renting
- 39:52Speaker 15: that church every Sunday night in the month of August.
- 39:56Speaker 15: And we got to find out where we're going to
- 39:58Speaker 15: go in September. So we just kind of we're going
- 40:00Speaker 15: along as we can. One thing I can say, our
- 40:03Speaker 15: church is resilient. And I've been telling the people. You know,
- 40:06Speaker 15: the building is closed, but the church is still open.
- 40:08Speaker 2: You know, we didn't we didn't.
- 40:10Speaker 15: We didn't rely on that building to get here, and
- 40:13Speaker 15: I'm not going to rely on it to go forward.
- 40:16Speaker 15: And then our church is fifteen years old. It took
- 40:20Speaker 15: us five years to get a building. We were shut
- 40:22Speaker 15: down two years during COVID, so half of our years
- 40:25Speaker 15: we didn't have a building anyway. So if that's what
- 40:28Speaker 15: we need to grow, then we're not doing you know,
- 40:31Speaker 15: the great commission. All we need is God, and we
- 40:34Speaker 15: need these people to stay together. We still are open,
- 40:38Speaker 15: We're still clothing and naked. Actually say feet in the hungry.
- 40:41Speaker 15: We got you know this coming Friday, we're going to
- 40:45Speaker 15: give away backpacks and school supplies to seven hundred kids.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I refuse to let.
- 40:51Speaker 15: A building define the work we've done over the last
- 40:54Speaker 15: fifteen years. So the building is in bad shape, but
- 40:57Speaker 15: the church is still in good shape.
- 40:59Speaker 7: We owned the land and the building before it was
- 41:03Speaker 7: a church. He gave the land and the building to
- 41:08Speaker 7: his ministry to make it a church. He owned the
- 41:11Speaker 7: building and the land before. It's an amazing story.
- 41:14Speaker 16: Man.
- 41:14Speaker 7: He's not gonna tell you that because he's not gonna
- 41:16Speaker 7: brag about it. But I just want you all to
- 41:18Speaker 7: know the type of person this cat is right here.
- 41:20Speaker 7: And I learned a lot talking to him, and also passed.
- 41:23Speaker 7: When you thought you had made a mistake when you
- 41:25Speaker 7: said you had fed the naked a minute ago, don't
- 41:28Speaker 7: worry about that.
- 41:29Speaker 2: That's actually not a mistake because I have done that too.
- 41:32Speaker 2: And jeez, that that ain't in the book. Right there,
- 41:38Speaker 2: they was grape.
- 41:47Speaker 11: Can we say hi just till Forest please her first lady, Yes, beautiful.
- 41:55Speaker 7: I want you all to go online today the Amazon.
- 41:59Speaker 7: I want you to get out to Target, I want
- 42:00Speaker 7: you to get out the Bonds and Nobles, and I
- 42:02Speaker 7: want you to buy a copy of this book called
- 42:04Speaker 7: Lazy Love. People judging you from a decision you made
- 42:09Speaker 7: in your twenties, and you don't know until you get
- 42:11Speaker 7: in your fifties what that decision was based on, because
- 42:14Speaker 7: I get caught up like that all the time. And
- 42:17Speaker 7: of course I did some things in my twenties that
- 42:19Speaker 7: I would not do now. But you can only make
- 42:21Speaker 7: your decisions based on the knowledge that you got at
- 42:23Speaker 7: that particular time you.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Got to grow.
- 42:25Speaker 7: I think this book will go a long way in
- 42:27Speaker 7: helping a lot of people that's going through a lot,
- 42:30Speaker 7: So everybody.
- 42:30Speaker 2: The book is called Lazy Love.
- 42:33Speaker 7: You can get a copy of it on Amazon, Bonds
- 42:35Speaker 7: and Noble, and Target. A key one last thing, man,
- 42:38Speaker 7: is that anyway, if people want to make a donation
- 42:40Speaker 7: they help your church out, or where could they go?
- 42:43Speaker 15: They can just go to LA's Houston Dot Church. You'll
- 42:47Speaker 15: see the given tab on there and be quite frank,
- 42:51Speaker 15: I think you'd be even saying that I would never add
- 42:53Speaker 15: but anything that anyone could give in this recovery effort
- 42:56Speaker 15: would definitely help us to stay afloat.
- 42:59Speaker 7: Well, we'll put it on the website and make it available. So, hey, brother,
- 43:03Speaker 7: thank you for joining us this morning. Steve Harvey Nation,

- 43:09Speaker 7: copy of the book that's called Lazy Love by Pastor

- 44:40Speaker 9: Uh? It seemed like, well, you know, the trash man

- 45:20Speaker 9: you know, put trash and no garage.
- 45:23Speaker 16: That's why I put it outside. I didn't have enough room.
- 45:25Speaker 3: In the garage.
- 45:26Speaker 9: Okay, well see that.

- 45:56Speaker 16: I pay rent at. I'm telling me to do over here.
- 46:00Speaker 9: Okay, Well listen, man, aren't you concerned that your trash
- 46:03Speaker 9: is thinking and reaking through the whole neighborhood.
- 46:05Speaker 16: I don't give a damn if who smelled my chance,
- 46:07Speaker 16: If they got a problem with it, tell them come
- 46:09Speaker 16: take it.
- 46:09Speaker 9: Out still then and say it out there, okay, whether
- 46:12Speaker 9: that's the problem, The problem is is that you took
- 46:14Speaker 9: it out, and you took it out too early. You
- 46:16Speaker 9: shouldn't put this out till Tuesday morning. And that's who
- 46:20Speaker 9: that money and find it.
- 46:21Speaker 16: If I put it out there and say it out

- 46:38Speaker 9: I don't know from my understanding. It's a couple of
- 46:40Speaker 9: holes in it. There's some food or something must to
- 46:43Speaker 9: got out. I don't know if one of the roads
- 46:45Speaker 9: or a dog got in it, or what the case
- 46:46Speaker 9: may be. But you know, we need to try to
- 46:49Speaker 9: get your trash in the backyard.
- 46:51Speaker 16: My chance ain't going no damn well, and how come

- 47:05Speaker 9: your phone number, and I said, well, look I just

- 48:10Speaker 16: you get my phone out.
- 48:11Speaker 9: Of any of down? I already told you, man, I
- 48:13Speaker 9: got your number for one of the neighbors on your
- 48:15Speaker 9: street that said they don't want to get me in
- 48:18Speaker 9: the left one to the right?
- 48:19Speaker 16: Help me which one?
- 48:21Speaker 9: Because listen, listen, listen, swear. Once you get to the

- 48:41Speaker 16: That's that's think, that's too much plans for me to
- 48:45Speaker 16: be going to try and see what thinks. It's dye
- 48:47Speaker 16: fast change out there and it's gonna stay out there still.
- 48:50Speaker 16: It ain't come get it and you ain't coming over there.

- 51:02Speaker 12: I pulled clorox. I pulled clorox on the trash that's

- 52:17Speaker 11: All right, Thank you, nephew. Subject Why was she at
- 52:20Speaker 11: the same hotel? Dear Stephen Shirley. I am dating a
- 52:24Speaker 11: man that has a lot of female friends. I don't
- 52:27Speaker 11: like it, but they seem harmless, so I've learned to
- 52:29Speaker 11: go with the flow. He is on a bowling team
- 52:32Speaker 11: with two of his closest friends from his childhood.
- 52:35Speaker 1: They're girly girls, and it.
- 52:37Speaker 11: Bothers me because I don't do all of the weed, makeup,
- 52:40Speaker 11: lashes and stilettos like them. I feel self conscious around them.
- 52:44Speaker 11: To be totally honest, he assured me that he isn't
- 52:47Speaker 11: into all of that either, and he loves how I
- 52:50Speaker 11: dress and how I carry myself.
- 52:52Speaker 1: He told my stepdad that.
- 52:54Speaker 11: He wants to marry me, so I have been on
- 52:56Speaker 11: pins and needles thinking he's going to pop the question.
- 52:59Speaker 11: At any He booked a weekend trip to the nearby beach,
- 53:03Speaker 11: and he said he just wanted to get away. We
- 53:05Speaker 11: got a suite on the beach side, and when I
- 53:07Speaker 11: walked in, I got excited because I just knew he
- 53:11Speaker 11: was setting the mood to ask me to marry him.
- 53:14Speaker 11: That night, he said we were going to dinner and
- 53:17Speaker 11: he had a few people joining us to make the
- 53:19Speaker 11: night special. It was his two best girlfriends. I thought
- 53:24Speaker 11: it would be my stepdad, my brother, and my best
- 53:27Speaker 11: friend because I was getting a ring that night, but
- 53:30Speaker 11: it was just the four of us sitting there. To
- 53:32Speaker 11: make matters worse, one of the ladies asked to ride
- 53:35Speaker 11: to the hotel with us. She said my man got
- 53:38Speaker 11: her a discounted rate so she could come kick it
- 53:40Speaker 11: with us for the weekend. Why is she at our
- 53:43Speaker 11: same hotel? When I asked him that, he got cross
- 53:47Speaker 11: with me, like I'm the problem. I was furious the
- 53:50Speaker 11: entire weekend and started to drive the hour back home.
- 53:54Speaker 11: In the middle of the night, he told me that
- 53:56Speaker 11: he's getting tired of my insecurities. I am suppose to
- 54:00Speaker 11: be cool with his girlfriends and not worry about him
- 54:03Speaker 11: crossing the line with them.
- 54:05Speaker 8: Nope.
- 54:07Speaker 11: You don't have to be cool with them if you're
- 54:09Speaker 11: not cool with them, and you are clearly not cool
- 54:12Speaker 11: with these women, and that's okay, it's quite all right.
- 54:16Speaker 11: It's not even about you being insecure, like your man
- 54:19Speaker 11: accused you of. It's about him not hearing you having
- 54:22Speaker 11: these female friends and not considering your feelings concerning these girls.
- 54:27Speaker 11: It's a free country and all, But I agree with you.
- 54:29Speaker 11: Why are they there when it's supposed to be a
- 54:32Speaker 11: weekend getaway for the two of you.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Are you sure this is the man you want to marry.
- 54:37Speaker 1: You're looking for a ring from.
- 54:38Speaker 11: This guy because his girly girlfriends obviously aren't going anywhere.
- 54:43Speaker 1: He'll probably want them in the wedding, you know that, right.
- 54:47Speaker 11: You got to tell him exactly how you feel about
- 54:49Speaker 11: these ladies.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Always being around. Tell him you don't like it.
- 54:53Speaker 11: He's not gonna like it when you tell him that,
- 54:55Speaker 11: and you may lose him. But this is about you,
- 54:58Speaker 11: and you're never going to be comfortable or happy in
- 55:01Speaker 11: your relationship, and you will never trust or be sure
- 55:04Speaker 11: that he won't cross the line with these girls. That's
- 55:07Speaker 11: always gonna be at the top of your mind. So
- 55:09Speaker 11: you my dear, are not the priority in this relationship, Steve.
- 55:15Speaker 7: Well, well, well, here we go again. How many times
- 55:20Speaker 7: I got to say this? Damn the subject of this
- 55:24Speaker 7: letter being why she at the same hotel.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Damn that.
- 55:27Speaker 7: Here's the letter right here. I am dating a man
- 55:31Speaker 7: that has a lot of female friends. I said, right now,
- 55:35Speaker 7: I'm told.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Y'all how many times I got to tell y'all.
- 55:38Speaker 7: I ain't gonna keep telling y'all, Uncle Steve, that's old fashion,
- 55:41Speaker 7: Uncle Steve. That ain't hard work no more, Uncle Steve.
- 55:44Speaker 7: You can have friends and not have sex with him.
- 55:46Speaker 7: Uncle Steve, Yeah, you might can have friends and not
- 55:49Speaker 7: have sex with him, But that don't mean you don't
- 55:50Speaker 7: want to.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You might cross that line.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Damn it.
- 55:57Speaker 7: I'm tired of talking to you about this. You're just stupid.
- 56:02Speaker 7: We are men, ain't finna change. We love optics, We
- 56:10Speaker 7: are observational, and we are attracted to aesthetics. We are men.
- 56:16Speaker 7: Don't you let no man tell you that aesthetics don't
- 56:20Speaker 7: matter what's wrong with you. We are not that complicated
- 56:25Speaker 7: of a creature. Aesthetics is everything. I'm dating a man
- 56:30Speaker 7: got a lot of female friends. You know why, he
- 56:32Speaker 7: got a lot of female friends because of the esthetics,
- 56:36Speaker 7: how it looks, how he feel when he around them.
- 56:40Speaker 7: That's why you have a lot of female friends. Sick
- 56:43Speaker 7: of sayings to y'all. Now, Uncle Steve, you old fashioned,
- 56:47Speaker 7: call whatever you want to call it, this real. I
- 56:51Speaker 7: don't like it, but they seem harmless, so I've learned
- 56:56Speaker 7: to go with the flow.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:58Speaker 7: So now what you've done is you found this out
- 57:01Speaker 7: in the beginning and you just got okay with it.
- 57:05Speaker 7: That's gonna come back to bite you. He's on the
- 57:08Speaker 7: bowling team with two of his closest friends from his
- 57:10Speaker 7: childhood that listen to this line right here. They're girly girls.
- 57:16Speaker 7: And it bothers me because I don't do all the
- 57:19Speaker 7: weave makeup, lashes and stilettos like them.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Okay, what you doing?
- 57:23Speaker 7: Then? Let me ask you that you don't do we've
- 57:27Speaker 7: you don't do lashes, you don't do stilettos, you don't
- 57:30Speaker 7: do makeup.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Where you going? What's happening?
- 57:37Speaker 7: They are girly girls that it bothers me. Now they
- 57:40Speaker 7: girly girls, and you know they girly girls. All Uncle
- 57:43Speaker 7: Steve asking you if them is girly girl, what is
- 57:47Speaker 7: you that's all. I'm a no no is you know, Shirley,
- 57:53Speaker 7: you have your letter. Just do your letter with all
- 57:55Speaker 7: their little bulls and answers.
- 57:56Speaker 2: You be got what is you?
- 57:58Speaker 15: Then?
- 57:59Speaker 2: If these this this girly girls, what is you?
- 58:05Speaker 7: I'm just asked, Wow, I'm just doctor, you know, And
- 58:10Speaker 7: I'm telling you right now?
- 58:11Speaker 2: Do he like makeup? Yup? Weave? He don't mind?
- 58:15Speaker 12: Last?
- 58:15Speaker 7: Yes, yes, insta left. I don't know a man living
- 58:17Speaker 7: don't like the letters. I don't know who. I do
- 58:19Speaker 7: not know a man that don't like red botm shoe.
- 58:22Speaker 7: I just don't.
- 58:22Speaker 2: I ain't many.
- 58:23Speaker 7: I ain't never heard a man say I'd rather my
- 58:25Speaker 7: woman have on flats. I ain't ever heard a man
- 58:28Speaker 7: say that.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, Okay.
- 58:30Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your strubbery of your Strawberry
- 58:35Speaker 11: Letter response coming up at twenty three minutes after the.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Hour of today's subjects why.
- 58:39Speaker 11: Was she at the same hotel? We'll get back into
- 58:42Speaker 11: it right after this.
- 58:44Speaker 8: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 58:47Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 58:50Speaker 11: The subject is, why was she at the same hotel?
- 58:53Speaker 7: Well, the letter ain't really about it's why she at
- 58:55Speaker 7: the same hotel. The letter is I'm dating a man
- 58:58Speaker 7: that has a lot of female friends.
- 58:59Speaker 2: That's what this whole letter is about. Now have told
- 59:01Speaker 2: you all about it.
- 59:02Speaker 7: She don't like it, but they seem harmless, so I've
- 59:05Speaker 7: seen to go with the flow. Well, let me tell
- 59:07Speaker 7: you about the harmless people that's on his bowling team.
- 59:10Speaker 7: Two of his closest friends from his childhood and two
- 59:12Speaker 7: of his girls.
- 59:14Speaker 2: They hear.
- 59:14Speaker 7: The problem is they girly girls, and it bothers me
- 59:17Speaker 7: because I don't do all the weave make up, last
- 59:19Speaker 7: stilettos like them. Okay, then what do you do. I
- 59:23Speaker 7: ain't gonna get into that no more. You obviously you
- 59:26Speaker 7: not a girly girl. I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 59:31Speaker 7: Men are into aesthetics, period, don't you think we not?
- 59:35Speaker 2: They ain't been.
- 59:36Speaker 7: Friends with them girls all these years because they rough
- 59:39Speaker 7: and madly.
- 59:44Speaker 12: Man.
- 59:44Speaker 7: I showed like these girls right there by you, little
- 59:46Speaker 7: T shirts they be wearing. Many got them baseball hats on.
- 59:49Speaker 7: They got they half faded. Y know, they should have
- 59:51Speaker 7: been here. We can box sometime, we go boxing together,
- 59:55Speaker 7: you know, and they ain't doing that. They girly girls,
- 59:58Speaker 7: they got on stilettos, asks all that we like all
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: that now to be totally honest and you self conscious
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: around them. He assured me that he ain't to all
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: that either. He ain't into that, and he loves how
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: I dress and carry myself. Okay, that could be fair assessment.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: He probably do, but I and he told my stepdad
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: that he want to marry me. So now you've been
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: walking around on peers and needles waiting on him to
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: pop the question. So you thought it was gonna happen
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: because he booked this weekend trip to the beach. He
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: got a suite on the beach, you walked in, you
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: got excited because you thought, oh man, this is it
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: right here, this is finally gonna be the one I'm
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: finna get popped the question, and then he said that
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: we're gonna have to at dinner, and he had a
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: few people joining us to make the night special.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Or you got really excited, So then guess what you assumed?
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: You thought the special people was gonna be your stepdad,
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: your brother, and your girlfriend, your best friend because you
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: was getting the ring that night. But it was before
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: of y'all, it was him, you and them two girls.
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: Them two girly girls sitting over there with their stilettos on,
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: and them damn eye lashes in that makeup, and they
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: have longer than it's supposed to be. Probably had bought
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: a thirty bag and up in here, just all up
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: in here, just all up in his face, cleavage'all out
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: and everything. And then to make matters worse, one of
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: the ladies asked to ride to the hotel with us.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: She said her man got her discounted rate so she
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: could come kick it with us for the weekend.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Now, I want you to know that she made sure
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: you knew that information.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: Because she didn't have to say that, right, but little
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: missus gurly girl made sure that you knew that information.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Now you are, why is she at our same hotel?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Because that's the one he put her at. So when
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: the girly girl get dressed and come out the room,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: she right there went til my lashes on in that
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: makeup and them stilettos.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: You sitting up in here, God on, you got a
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: moonmo dress on with them flats. You ain't got any
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: nail polish or toe nail polish. Your head foot over
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: there look like mine. You just over here just at
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: the beach. That's what I'm not gonna do. I'm not
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: gonna look down at my girl and her foot look
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: like my foot. We're not We're not finnsh do. I
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: need to see some differences. I don't wear nail polish
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: on my toes on hands. I like it when you do, though.
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: I don't wear high heeled shoes, but I like it
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: when you do. I don't wear makeup except on TV,
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: but I like it when you do. I ain't never
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: had on no lashes, fe I happen to like them though. Now,
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: if you want to put a couple of bags in
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: your hair, I ain't got no problem with that.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Put them in the right, don't you know? Yeah, they
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: do it different.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: Now you ain't got to have tracks and all this
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: glue showing and everything just to spend your money and
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: get it done right, or don't do it at all.
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: But don't come out of the house looking like Mary Poppins.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: And now we want me to be excited about you.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: I was furious the entire weekend. I started to drive
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: an hour back in the middle of the night. He
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: told me he's getting tired of my insecurities. Am I
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: supposed to. I am supposed to be cool with his
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: girlfriends and not worry about him crossing the line with them.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: If you worry about them crossing the line, why are you.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: I saw a young dude on the internet that said
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: something He's in He was talking one time and one
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: of his guests said, women, do you all believe in
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: women's intuition? And all the women in here said yes.
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: He said, if your intuition can tell you that your
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: man is cheating, why your intuition can't tell you what
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: he's not happy? And the whole room got quiet. Wow,
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: the whole room got quiet. Now, if he keeps inviting
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: these girls somewhere, it's because they feel something in him
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: that you don't. And I'm just being real with you,
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: because it comes a time, man, where you gonna meet
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: the one where you don't need all.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: The other women.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: I ain't saying you ain't a man, you ain't gonna
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: wish or think about it or nothing like that. I
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: ain't saying that, But I'm saying it comes a time
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: when you gonna meet one where the rest of them
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: ain't gonna matter. And right now he'd have met you,
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: but the other two still matter. Now you work that
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: out how you want to. Old fashioned ass uncle Steve
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: and told y'all get a dude who's got all them
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: female friends gonna be a problem, Thus the letter.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: All right, thank you Steve.

- 1:05:19Speaker 10: first of all, shout out to everybody on the track
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: and in the gym, because Team USA on this track
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: being killed. The shout out to Gaby Thomas, another gold man.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: What we made she was tall.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Again at at the Olympics.
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: I did not know this, but Rebecca, Simon and Jordan
- 1:05:38Speaker 10: became the first three black gymnasts to share the top
- 1:05:40Speaker 10: three spots in an Olympics. We had never been dumb before.
- 1:05:46Speaker 10: And so that's that's unpresident. And then this and there
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: this Simon bos is probably the most not even most
- 1:05:55Speaker 10: most decorated gymnasts of all time, a most decorated and
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: she's the oldest gymnast to ever do it, the oldest
- 1:06:07Speaker 10: to qualify for the Olympics.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: The beast that's.
- 1:06:10Speaker 10: That's got impressed with that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: I'm in prens with Uh. It's time for a ghetto
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: a hood or Olympic report.
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: Welcome to ghetto hood. Let please, let's stop with all
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: these surprises. What you want. Once you let us in,
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: we take over. That's what we do. Hell yeah, we
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: can flip. We've been jumping and diving over stuff since
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: we was kids. Anyway, I expected her to win the gold.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: I expected to see all black girl magic go up
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: there had a girl from Brazil took a gold, then
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: a beautiful little girl, and then Simone took a silver,
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: and then Jordan took a bronze. I was very, very
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: happy to see that. I was not surprised that Gavin
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: one to two hundred congratulation. You look up there, and
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: then the other girl from a Miracle who runs for Lucia,
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: she took second, and then third place was the other
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: black girl from the United States. Another black girl magic moment.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: What is we all surprised for. I'm just sitting up
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: in here and we're track and field track, not feel
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: damn the field. We just want to get to the
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: track events. We don't give a damn about the hammer.
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: We don't care.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: Oh, congratulation to a black girl that won the hammer
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: toss and she took a silver with seilver half black
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: and beautiful sister sitting up there just chocolate, just throwing
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: that damn hammer. I don't even know where she got
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: the hammer from. I just want to thank somebody for
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: giving her to hammer and then she learned how to
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: throw the hammer. There's just so many things that was
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: going on. I fully expect us to dominate in this
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: track party to show because the field part, that's nice.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: White man want a pole vauf, Who earth gonna win that?
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: White man want a discuss who Earth gonna win? Let's
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: top with all these surprises about Gabby want this?
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: They won that. We post to win, damn it. This
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: is what we do. Track. You ain't gonna beat the
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: running sca now.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: Now, when the Winter Olympics get here, we're gonna go
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: sit down somewhere and wait on.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Let the kid hide us.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: We do not.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: All right, you didn't be out here going down though,
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: I say, asked Slope and the Steve on our stomach.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Thank you Steve for the hood Olympics.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Thank you Junior.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: All right, Coming up next, we'll have more of the
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Well, it's official.
- 1:08:33Speaker 11: Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Tim Waltz as her
- 1:08:37Speaker 11: running mate and vice presidential candidate. Waltz is currently the
- 1:08:41Speaker 11: governor of Minnesota and he's a military veteran.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: What do you guys think?
- 1:08:44Speaker 11: What do you think, Steve of Tim Waltz for VP
- 1:08:47Speaker 11: Kamala's pick?
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: You gonna honestly, well, I think it's a It's of
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: course it's a smart pick because it's gonna help with
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: the Midwest, with Minnesota.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: It's gonna help with that whole area right there.
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: And he's he said the right things in the past,
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: and so of course that's right now. The second part is,
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: I don't give themn who she picked, right, I'm voting
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: for Kamla had don't damn it's got it, Tim Watts,
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: I Waltz, I do the Waltz could have you know,
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: Johnny Walls, she could have picked you know, Johnny Walnutt.
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: I'm voting for Kamla Harris Man. Right, that's the period.
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: But I think it's a smart choice. Of course they
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: took their time. It's a strategic pick. Of course they
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: want to pick somebody that's gonna help get votes.
- 1:09:36Speaker 11: But you know what, though, they we've been waiting, they've
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: been waiting for three weeks for her to pick.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Who's it gonna be.
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: She's gonna pick them this stay then once they once
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: she picked them, then here come the critics, Here come
- 1:09:47Speaker 11: the haters. He's too progressive, He's too he's too far left.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I'm like, man, it's progressive, a bad thing.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Don't know what about Donald Trump is too wrong?
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: So you know what, mane analyzing stuff, and we do
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: it to the detriment of ourself. See, the Republicans ain't
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: analyzing Trump.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: They're going to vote for him.
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: They we so we over here in this Democratic party, Man,
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: we can be our own worst enemy at times. We
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: so damn progressive. We got the over some No, just
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: be who you are. You're voting because you don't like
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: Donald Trump and you don't like the direction that he'll
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: push the country in you don't and voting for Donald Trump.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Here's the glaring.
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: Difference between Kamala Harris excuse me of Madame Vice President
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Here's the difference for me. One is talking about the
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: future of the country. The other is talking about the past.
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: Because if you're talking about make America great again, you're
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: talking about getting it back to a place that it
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: was so it can be that again, and that ain't
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: ever been good for black people.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Now you are.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: Talking about a person who is trying to do some
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: things right. She if she gets in there and gets
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: an opportunity to appoint some Supreme Court justice, if that
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: becomes possible, you know something then and then she gets
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: enough people in the Congress and to say we can
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: reverse role versus way. You can't take away women's rights.
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: This was one of the biggest mistakes they made. You
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: can't take a right of woman's rights, what to do
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: with her body, that's right, that's tragic. And then if
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: you think that Donald Trump is not aware of Project
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: twenty twenty five, you are sadly mistaken. These people have
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: a thing that they want to implement. Right after Donald
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: Trump signs into office, and he gonna sign all of
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: this stuff on day one. Project twenty five gonna be
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: into effect. They've already gotten. They trying to take black
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: history out of schools. They're succeeding down in Florida. They're
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: gonna get rid of DEEI. They gonna diversity and in quait,
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: they're gonna get rid of all of that. Affirmative action
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: is gone. See, this is how you make America greater. Kid,
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: You get it back to the days where they didn't
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: have a when they want no affirmative action. You got
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: to get back to America when white folk could just
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: run like they wanted to run. That's what they doing.
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: And for you not to see that, man, it's ridiculous.
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: I am who I am, and I stand on who
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: I am, and this is what I've been about. If
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: you listen to this radio show that we've had on
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: since two thousand and five, I have been a staunch
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: supporter of everybody that ran on that ticket for the
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: right way.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I ain't been nothing else. Then say what you want
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: to say, You.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: Take thirty second clips and try to turn it into something.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: I'm standing on this here, right here.
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: It's about Kamala hass just like it was about Hillary Clinton,
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: just like it was about Barack Obama. Y'all let him
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: deceive y'all with that Hillary Clinton stuff. But when y'all
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: gonna stop letting Donald Trump trick y'all. He done trick
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: the whole Republican Party, but the rest of us don't
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: have to be tricked.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: Just lies, right, She was right everything she said about him.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: She was listening to comments, all.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: Right, coming up for twenty minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: Well, guys, yesterday we mentioned how Snoop Dog is having
- 1:13:23Speaker 11: a great time over in Paris for the Olympics. Snoop
- 1:13:26Speaker 11: has been popping up everywhere in Paris, hanging out with
- 1:13:29Speaker 11: the athletes, kicking it with his buddy Martha Stewart. But
- 1:13:33Speaker 11: did you know that Snoop is allegedly getting big, big
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: bucks for wrapping the summer Games. Snoop is allegedly getting
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: paid five hundred thousand dollars a day by NBC and
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: the Day a day a day for his commentary and
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: content day day.
- 1:13:54Speaker 12: That's crazy, right, Swimming with Michael Phelps time.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Snoop has really uh flipped the script.
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: I'm very proud of him, man, because that dude has
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: taken a rap career, former gang banger and turned it
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: completely around. He and the Olympics getting five hundred thousand
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: dollars a days doing commentary, walking drownd doing the show
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: with marths to it. Man, come on, flip that boy.
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: Reinvent yourself and playing that play in that game.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: You know, and.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: You know, I hear all the critics out there, But man, y'all, y'all,
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: he doing it the right way.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: He needed to stay who he was, stay true to us.
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: Now you got to grow man, you're talking.
- 1:14:42Speaker 15: About that.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Just everything he needed to stay who he was, true
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: to the game.
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: Keep it cripping, keep it cripping to going to jail
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: with your ass.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: We love you, Snoop.
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after we'll play
- 1:15:00Speaker 11: would you rather?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:15:02Speaker 11: You're listening hard Morning Show Time Now for a round
- 1:15:06Speaker 11: of would you rather? Would you rather be the head
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: of the usherboard or would you rather be the choir director?
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: No, i'ma on that usher board.
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: Really I want to work.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: I've always wanted to work that though, be boss.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Telling people where and stuff.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Down the road.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Uh huh, yeah something hold that one finger up.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Yes, we love it.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: They got power. Somebody ain't gonna hit a word. I
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: don't care.
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: You ain't getting in it.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: And I'm not in that one hand behind the back either.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna have both.
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: I'm gonna have gloves and I'm gonna have a silver gloves. Yeah,
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: I don't have silver gloves. I don't be out there fly,
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: but as you come to your seat, I'm gonna go
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: up to the front of the aisle and bring you
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: in like an airplane.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: That's that's too distracting.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Oh that's what I'm doing. I'm beat.
- 1:16:14Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: Would you rather be al Pacino in the god Would
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: you rather al Pacino in The Godfather or al Pacino
- 1:16:20Speaker 11: in Scarface?
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: Which one?
- 1:16:22Speaker 11: Scarface or Godfather? Both of them were great greatness?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Come on, all that's a really really.
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: Michael's god Junior Scarface?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Like, give us a line from a journeyman and spar face.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I just go with either one. I hate want Scarface.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: I gotta go with that. With that, Okay, you see
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: that guy up there. I never liked that. I never
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: like him. Say God, then shut that pisa.
- 1:17:04Speaker 12: I ain't gonna shoot you, Frank, I ain't gonna shoot you,
- 1:17:09Speaker 12: you know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:17:10Speaker 11: Would you rather have a rotten tooth that you can't pull?
- 1:17:13Speaker 11: Or no sex for three months?
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Oh, there's no sex you. I'm not having to to
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I'm not my mouth. No, no, thank you.
- 1:17:23Speaker 12: I mean we're doing three months anyway around the house.
- 1:17:25Speaker 12: I mean we were going on it.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: I trouble or.
- 1:17:34Speaker 12: Campaign and trying to get it up, and I wish
- 1:17:37Speaker 12: you would reach.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Over here and touch me. I wish you would.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Oh so okay, so yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: Would you rather swim in the Mediterranean Sea or sunbathe
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: naked in public?
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:17:48Speaker 12: No, sunbathe right there naked in front of you. I'm
- 1:17:53Speaker 12: comfortable with me. I'm not swimming the medic You don't
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: even know what that's it.
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: Hey, I don't think y'all have thought this sun bathe
- 1:18:04Speaker 7: and nicked out all the way. It's somebody parts they
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: ever been exposed to direct sunlight. And you can do
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: that if you want to. But I'm gonna tell you
- 1:18:15Speaker 7: right now if you start appeeling you ain't gonna like it.
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: I'm gonna let you know that.
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: Coming up next, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:18:23Speaker 11: and we'll close out the show with the one and
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:18:33Speaker 11: the day, and Hurricane Debbie is now a tropical storm.
- 1:18:39Speaker 11: After making landfall early yesterday in Florida, Hurricane Debbie is
- 1:18:44Speaker 11: moving slowly up the coast, bringing life threatening flooding to
- 1:18:47Speaker 11: Georgia and to the Carolina. Six people in Florida have
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: died and accidents related to Debbie. Parts of eastern Georgia
- 1:18:54Speaker 11: and coastal South Carolina have seen over ten inches of rain,
- 1:18:57Speaker 11: including parts of the Charleston metro area. The American Red
- 1:19:01Speaker 11: Cross is responding with disaster workers across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina,
- 1:19:06Speaker 11: and North Carolina. And if you are need and if
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: you are in need of assistance, please call one eight
- 1:19:12Speaker 11: hundred Red Cross.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: That's one eight hundred Red Cross.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Seat.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, y'all stay safe out.
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: There, yes, do that, all right, everybody. My closing remarks
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: today is really really quite simple. You know now that
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: uh soon to be president of the United States if
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: we do our job. President Kamala Harris has made a
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: vice presidential pick, and I'm hearing the rumblings about this
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: pick already, y'all.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Let me say this. What is wrong with us?
- 1:19:57Speaker 7: Why have we gotten to the point where we feel
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: this is our obligation to point out what's wrong with everything.
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: Listen to me, man, we don't have time for this.
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: This election is too important. We've got to discuss the
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: policies and the difference between the two presidential candidates.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Why are you worrying about.
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: Her pick being too progressive when you need to be
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: worried about his pick, which is too far right. Do
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: you know what this guy Advance is all about that
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: Trump has picked. First of all, he's just a Trump supporter. Secondly,
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: he wear ie line. Ain't nobody said nothing about this here?
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: He wear eyeline. I know I line up when I
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: see it. What's happening to him? But we worried about
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: the wrong things. Listen to me. This election is so important.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: Don't get this twisted. There's a clear difference between Donald
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: Trump and Vice President Madame Kamala Harris.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: There is a difference, and it's obvious.
- 1:21:05Speaker 7: Number one. I will be shocked if this man debates her.
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: I will be stunned because the difference will be so
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: it will be frightening. It's like you will put this this,
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: this person who is so underqualified up against this person
- 1:21:23Speaker 7: who is super qualified. I mean, the parallel and the
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: difference in these two people is obvious. This woman is
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: raised a sharp, educated, smart, absolutely brilliant, and is very
- 1:21:36Speaker 7: much aware of all the issues.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: He is not.
- 1:21:40Speaker 7: You know, you're sitting up in here talking about a
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: guy who don't want felons to vote, but there's a
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: felon running for president of the United States. Now you're
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: saying felons can't vote, but you can be a felon
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: and be vot it for what are we talking about here?
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: Listen to the campaigns I'm looking. I'm not telling y'all nothing.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: Y'all don't know.
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: I just want you, y'all to use common sense make
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: America great again.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: Do you know that that is all about the past?
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: Vice President Madame Cadam Kamala has visionists for the future,
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: so that everybody has rights, everybody has medicare, everybody when
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: they retire, their retirement money will still be there. Donald
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: Trump is trying to take away all of that, and
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: they mask it with their little legenda called the Republican
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: Conservative Party. They talk about abortion when they don't mention
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: to you that they get abortions too. They fighting for
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: this wall when they know they hire more people who
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: come across this border than does anyone rich people who
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: hire these people.
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Let's stop playing.
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: When the last time your regular job having self has
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: hired a person that they call it in legal aida,
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: when last time you hire them, Well, let me tell
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: you what they do. Let me tell you what rich
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: people do who say they want this wall. They own
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: construction companies. You know who work in these construction companies,
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: these super qualified labor people who come over from the border.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: Do you know who owns the farms and the food
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: industries in this country? Rich people?
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: Do you know who picks those crops those people who
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: come from across the borders.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Do you know that rich people own restaurants? Do you
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: know who work in those restaurants?
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: Those same people that come across that border, that wall
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: that they keep talking about that they want so desperately.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: They talking about how criminalized they are, when they're really
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: not man. They're just seeking an opportunity to freedom over
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: here in the United States, just like their forefathers did.
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: You ain't close the border from England and all like that.
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: You ain't shut that off. You open it up the
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: country to them. So look, man, we've got to get
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: to the polls and vote. We've got to make this
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: a priority. Now that I think in my lifetime I
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: would see a female president. No, But I was the
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: same guy that never thought i'd live to see a
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: black man become president either.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: But you don't know how God work. Now.
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: They always want to use that God spared Donald Trump's life.
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: I'm glad the man didn't get killed. Nobody wants that.
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: I don't wish death on nobody. I'm glad the man
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: didn't get shot and God did spare him. But that
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: don't mean he spared him to be president. He just
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: spad ym. It's all good, man. I'm glad the man
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: didn't get shot. I'm not that person. I ain't wishing
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: for nobody's death. But what we have a clear chance
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: is to make a difference in this election. I'm trying
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: to tell my listeners we are the difference makers in
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: this election. Right now, it will be coming down just
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: like it was before. It'll come down to Michigan, Wisconsin,
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: it will come down to Philly, and it'll come down
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: to Georgia and that's where we at.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Now, let's get to the po and vote, show them
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: who we really are. Thank y'all for listening, but don't
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: listen vote. Thank you so much.
