- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's not true. Good Steve to mother,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You gotta use that turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn, you
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got come come on your baby, huh. I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: well a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, If if I had time
- 2:14Speaker 1: enough to tell the whole trip, the whole journey, and
- 2:18Speaker 1: y'all would be sitting up in there going okay to Steve,
- 2:21Speaker 1: are we gonna play the show this week? But man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: it's been a lot of amazing things has happened to
- 2:28Speaker 1: me over the years, and not all of them good.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It's been some amazingly bad things that have happened too.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But I just come on in the morning as a
- 2:41Speaker 1: reminder to everybody of the actual goodness of God, that
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know, man, that these mistakes that you're making, that
- 2:50Speaker 1: these setbacks that you keep having, that these falls that
- 2:55Speaker 1: keep occurring in your life, that they all are leading
- 2:59Speaker 1: you somewhere. If you just don't ever give up. That's
- 3:03Speaker 1: the key. You can never ever give up because you
- 3:07Speaker 1: don't know how the trip has been laid out for you.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You know, if somebody had told me years ago when
- 3:16Speaker 1: I had the dream of being on TV and then
- 3:18Speaker 1: I thought about being a one of one of the
- 3:21Speaker 1: best comedians I could be. You know, when I when
- 3:24Speaker 1: I started, if somebody had told me everything that was
- 3:29Speaker 1: gonna have to happen in order for me to get there,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I would have changed it. I would have I would
- 3:36Speaker 1: have said, Okay, well I ain't gonna be that. How
- 3:38Speaker 1: about this? See and no one can know all of
- 3:43Speaker 1: the events of their life ahead of time. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it would be so nice, wouldn't it. You know, to
- 3:48Speaker 1: prepare for it, see it coming, be aware of the haters,
- 3:54Speaker 1: always knowing when the backstabbing moment is coming in your life,
- 3:59Speaker 1: always knowing when you're gonna get blindsided by the enemy.
- 4:02Speaker 1: We are really great to know that, wouldn't it. Well,
- 4:04Speaker 1: that's not how it works. So since no one knows
- 4:10Speaker 1: exactly the challenges and the pitfalls and the detours that's
- 4:15Speaker 1: going to be set them, it's it's it's imperative that
- 4:19Speaker 1: you just don't give up because see, knowing these things,
- 4:26Speaker 1: we as human beings by nature, would choose another route.
- 4:30Speaker 1: But it ain't the route God God for you, though.
- 4:33Speaker 1: See the route God God for you. If you if
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're trying to do the right thing, if you're doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: the best you can, if you ain't out here just
- 4:42Speaker 1: intentionally just messing over, folks, if you're using faith and
- 4:47Speaker 1: that's the belief in things that you cannot see. If
- 4:50Speaker 1: you have something on the inside of you to keep
- 4:52Speaker 1: saying there's got to be more to life than that,
- 4:55Speaker 1: then that's that's you. You, my friend, have a great chance.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And if you've ever had that feeling then gave up
- 5:03Speaker 1: on it, just get it back, Just ask for it back,
- 5:07Speaker 1: Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: I used to be because there's a change that's available
- 5:13Speaker 1: in your life. But you gotta take it. You gotta
- 5:16Speaker 1: take a shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for
- 5:19Speaker 1: you to get it right, but you gotta take a
- 5:21Speaker 1: shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for you to
- 5:24Speaker 1: turn this whole thing around with God's help, but you
- 5:27Speaker 1: gotta take a shot at it. You See, this decision
- 5:31Speaker 1: is yours. The decision to lay down and give up.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's yours, it ain't. It just got too hard for me.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Life too much, man, life hard and too much for everybody.
- 5:41Speaker 1: What I gotta get you to see? My father used
- 5:44Speaker 1: to always tell me. He says, so best lessons in
- 5:47Speaker 1: life to burn your value and learn the most is
- 5:49Speaker 1: a bout lesson. I didn't quite understand that being young,
- 5:54Speaker 1: but I show got it now. Ain't no lesson like
- 5:57Speaker 1: a bout lesson, the one you pay for. Those are
- 6:00Speaker 1: the ones that hold to you, that stick to you,
- 6:03Speaker 1: that that that started turning you into who you're gonna be.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Those are the character builders. See, you got to be
- 6:10Speaker 1: forged to get to where you want to go in life.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So that's what the challenges and missteps is for. That's
- 6:16Speaker 1: what the failing is about. Now, I know you don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: like it. I didn't. I know you're not comfortable without
- 6:22Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I know you wish it was over sooner
- 6:25Speaker 1: than later. I always do. I always wanted to be
- 6:29Speaker 1: over sooner than later because the later manager seems like
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's so much I gotta go through. But let me
- 6:36Speaker 1: tell you something, man, if you can, if you can
- 6:39Speaker 1: forge your way through it, and understand that you are
- 6:42Speaker 1: forged in life. I don't know. I was on TBN
- 6:46Speaker 1: one time when I was doing one of my motivational speeches,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and I began to wonder about this experience I had.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It Ford Motor Company and my last job after the
- 6:58Speaker 1: auto industry started going down, my last job was in
- 7:02Speaker 1: the fountry and my job was to stand at the
- 7:06Speaker 1: end almost where the engines first come out of the furnace. See,
- 7:12Speaker 1: the engines are poured into a mold. It's hot, melted
- 7:16Speaker 1: down metal whatever they call it, lava or whatever. They
- 7:19Speaker 1: poured into a mole and it goes into this furnace
- 7:22Speaker 1: that's extremely hot. And my job was after the heat
- 7:28Speaker 1: was applied to the engine block, it would come through
- 7:32Speaker 1: and it would go through a hardening stage. But the
- 7:35Speaker 1: way it was hardening, they would cool it. Suddenly they
- 7:38Speaker 1: would flush it with water. It was just blast water
- 7:41Speaker 1: on it. But the fire and the high temperature is
- 7:45Speaker 1: what made the engine block solidified. It's because it's gotta
- 7:50Speaker 1: get real hot, get melted down first. Then it's got
- 7:53Speaker 1: to get poured into a mole. Then it's gotta be
- 7:56Speaker 1: pressure hit with water and all of this, and then
- 8:00Speaker 1: it could and it's real hot. Now it's still hot
- 8:03Speaker 1: even on this water been shutter. But when it comes
- 8:05Speaker 1: out the end of the side, there's a lot of
- 8:07Speaker 1: flashing in it. And flashing is a metal from that
- 8:10Speaker 1: didn't dripped through the cast molding on it, just like
- 8:14Speaker 1: flecks of extra pieces of metal. My job was to
- 8:18Speaker 1: hit this engine block in the front, which is huge,
- 8:22Speaker 1: heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing off the front,
- 8:27Speaker 1: and when it came around back to bam, hit it
- 8:30Speaker 1: real hard again on the backside. And that became the
- 8:35Speaker 1: core of what the car is. A car without a
- 8:39Speaker 1: great engine is nothing. It's just a pretty looking vehicle
- 8:42Speaker 1: over there. But if it can't do what it was
- 8:45Speaker 1: made to do because the engine block then cracked. So
- 8:47Speaker 1: you can have a car look real good, but if
- 8:49Speaker 1: it freezes an engine block crack your car, you can
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's over man. You gotta get a new block. The
- 8:55Speaker 1: block is the core. But in order for you for
- 8:58Speaker 1: the car to do what it's got to do, it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: got to have a strong engine in it. In order
- 9:02Speaker 1: for the engine to be strong, it's got to be
- 9:04Speaker 1: forged and steell, come through fire, get poured in a mole,
- 9:08Speaker 1: cooled off, heated, knocked around, beat on the front end,
- 9:12Speaker 1: beat on the back end. In order for it to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be what it's gonna be. The moul of the story, folks,
- 9:17Speaker 1: is you got to get forged in fire to be
- 9:21Speaker 1: what you gonna be. You got to get beat up,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you got to get pressure washed, you got to have
- 9:27Speaker 1: heat on you. You You gotta get melted down, you gotta
- 9:29Speaker 1: get poured into a mole. That's how you become who
- 9:33Speaker 1: you are. So the tough things that you're going through,
- 9:36Speaker 1: the difficult challenges and the setbacks. I know a brother
- 9:39Speaker 1: who went to prison, man, And the whole reason he
- 9:42Speaker 1: ended up going to prison because he was looking out
- 9:44Speaker 1: the loot window, looking out in the yard at him
- 9:46Speaker 1: working out. And then the next thing, you know, man,
- 9:49Speaker 1: this brother decided that he was gonna go out there
- 9:51Speaker 1: and work out. Well, guess what, he's one of the
- 9:55Speaker 1: top trainers in country today. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Undivided attention is all that's required here, nothing more. Uh
- 10:08Speaker 1: just not necessary to have good sense. Uh it's not
- 10:12Speaker 1: necessary to have common sense. Uh. Degrees or not needed,
- 10:17Speaker 1: um anything of any value. You just don't need it,
- 10:21Speaker 1: just just need you listening because this is the Steve
- 10:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We need you to be open minded
- 10:30Speaker 1: and receptive to the foolishness that's about to go down.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, This is thus Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. Ain't no other one badder
- 10:44Speaker 1: than this hill. Let's get the stake start Sureley Strong, Hey,
- 10:47Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve. Kick it on over the caller for real.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve, Hey, Chris, bring it on in to
- 10:53Speaker 1: the impressionable care junior space. Morning Uncle. I'm here, and
- 10:59Speaker 1: the ain't a foolishness, Ladies and gentlemen, Nephew, Tommy, I
- 11:09Speaker 1: love it. I love it, but no, that's how you started.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I love it. Let's go. Let's kick this morning off.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, everything good? Yeah? How about with you? How
- 11:29Speaker 1: are you selling? I feel pretty good? Man? Feel pretty good? Um? Yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm just like really really fine. You know, No, I
- 11:38Speaker 1: was just trying to think of how to describe it,
- 11:39Speaker 1: don't know. Let me ask you something, man, how often
- 11:44Speaker 1: you count your money? Though? Like once a week, once
- 11:47Speaker 1: they're two weeks, you go look at it and look
- 11:49Speaker 1: at your zero Did you hear what he said to him?
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't ever do that. You don't never go look
- 11:54Speaker 1: at it like when you first okay, when you first
- 11:58Speaker 1: got it, did you go look at it? When is
- 12:01Speaker 1: it that it'll be where you can go see it
- 12:03Speaker 1: a viewing at least online? You know, you go pull
- 12:06Speaker 1: up your bank account. I thought you meant like look
- 12:09Speaker 1: at the actual money. Yeah, just put it up to
- 12:12Speaker 1: say okay, now I look at my bank accounts. You know. Well,
- 12:18Speaker 1: do you ever call down and say I want one
- 12:20Speaker 1: out this bank right now and then say I'm just playing. Well,
- 12:22Speaker 1: if you do, if you threaten me, I've done that before.
- 12:25Speaker 1: If you three, oh yeah, if you talk to me crazy, yo, yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I throw you into something. Oh I won't get too
- 12:34Speaker 1: How many it brings trucks? Is that take all that?
- 12:41Speaker 1: I ain't never really had to do it, it said once,
- 12:44Speaker 1: And I ain't had that much, but I had enough
- 12:45Speaker 1: down there to be effective. So bank talk to me
- 12:48Speaker 1: crazy one time? Yeah, I just said, all right, no problem,
- 12:52Speaker 1: just let me have my money. You gotta have talk
- 12:55Speaker 1: to your manager. Let me talk to him. So I'll
- 12:57Speaker 1: be down the mall two thirty needed on in cash.
- 13:01Speaker 1: There's about six people in my house that evening. I'm
- 13:04Speaker 1: trying to get this together. Who said something to him?
- 13:09Speaker 1: We're gonna straighten us out right on who the hill.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It's the former employee here who made this mistake. I
- 13:22Speaker 1: said it correctly, the former employee here. Because you're done,
- 13:27Speaker 1: all right, listen, Yeah, coming up at thirty two after
- 13:31Speaker 1: the hour, more of this crazy ignorant show, Steve Harvey
- 13:35Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 13:39Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, So Steve today, we're gonna start
- 13:42Speaker 1: off the show in a lighter note. Um, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 1: people still need your relationship and okay, still quarantined together. Okay,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but let me say this now, what since today I'm
- 13:52Speaker 1: gonna act a food I don't I don't know if
- 13:55Speaker 1: I can recommend advice I'm giving today, ready said goal,
- 14:00Speaker 1: don't even recommend it. This one's from Felicsa and Gary, Indiana.
- 14:05Speaker 1: She says, I'm twenty seven years old and I'm falling
- 14:07Speaker 1: in love with a forty six year old man. We
- 14:10Speaker 1: started hanging out a month ago and we're taking it slow.
- 14:14Speaker 1: My twenty seventh birthday was Friday, and we met for dinner.
- 14:17Speaker 1: He said he knows a man should never ask a
- 14:19Speaker 1: woman her age, but since it was my birthday. He
- 14:21Speaker 1: was curious. I told him I was twenty seven. This
- 14:25Speaker 1: man flipped out and said, he's glad we didn't have
- 14:28Speaker 1: sex because he has a daughter that's almost my age.
- 14:32Speaker 1: He thought I was at least thirty five because of
- 14:34Speaker 1: the way I carried myself. I'm so hurt because I
- 14:37Speaker 1: never had a problem with him being older. What does
- 14:40Speaker 1: my age matter? Why does my age matter? Don't you
- 14:43Speaker 1: don't have a problem with him being older. He got
- 14:45Speaker 1: the problem with you being younger. You know, let's just
- 14:48Speaker 1: talk about a couple of things. You know you said,
- 14:51Speaker 1: he said he thought you with thirty five? How you dressing?
- 14:56Speaker 1: What you got on? Got this man thinking you thirty five?
- 15:01Speaker 1: How is your half style? You have bangs? Ain't then
- 15:08Speaker 1: we're wrong with bangs? But do you have a bang?
- 15:11Speaker 1: And flip? There coming back? They're making a comeback? Are
- 15:19Speaker 1: your heels maximum two inch heels? I'm just saying there's
- 15:24Speaker 1: some things that would make him think you was old dirt.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I would if I were you, I would be a
- 15:31Speaker 1: little hurt. The hurtful thing is a man thinking you
- 15:35Speaker 1: much older than you really are. Let me at one
- 15:38Speaker 1: last question. Do you drink heavy? But if you twenty seven,
- 15:49Speaker 1: then look thirty five to the forty six year old.
- 15:56Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Next. All right, this is from
- 15:59Speaker 1: bad in Charlotte, North Carolina. She says, I've been dating
- 16:03Speaker 1: a man for three years, and I know he loves me,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but he doesn't trust me. Last year, he admitted to
- 16:09Speaker 1: putting a tracker on my phone and a camera in
- 16:12Speaker 1: my house when he suspected I was cheating. I have
- 16:15Speaker 1: a I have limited freedom, and he goes everywhere I go.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I love the attention, but sometimes I feel like he's
- 16:21Speaker 1: smothering me. My friends say, he's only going to get
- 16:25Speaker 1: crazier if we stay together. How can I get him
- 16:28Speaker 1: to relax and give me some space? Relax? He got
- 16:31Speaker 1: a tracker on your car and cameras in your phone.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You're gonna relax? That right where you gonna relax. You're
- 16:39Speaker 1: taking your clothes off. He watches you're in a bathroom,
- 16:44Speaker 1: he watches see you go to the stove. He watches.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Your friends are right, is only gonna get worse. He
- 16:55Speaker 1: gonna take you down to the vet and get that
- 16:58Speaker 1: little pillet put in you that you put in your dog.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You're gonna end up. Yeah, you're gonna mess around and
- 17:06Speaker 1: go outside and gonna have a visit fence and what
- 17:12Speaker 1: and the visit fence. Whereas when you walk over there
- 17:15Speaker 1: to the neighbor, then that shot hit you out. Yeah,
- 17:20Speaker 1: well she wants her space. How can she get him
- 17:22Speaker 1: to give her? It ain't no space. You got a
- 17:26Speaker 1: tracker and cameras. Yeah. Next, next he gonna buy you
- 17:30Speaker 1: one of them police bracelets and put it on your ankle. Yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 1: your friends are right, it's going to get worse. You
- 17:39Speaker 1: can't get him to relax. He's what's called insecure. Right,
- 17:43Speaker 1: we had one of them on this show. He can
- 17:46Speaker 1: did a whole movie about it, right, Right, Tommy, he's insecure.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But he doesn't go that even Tommy doesn't go this. No,
- 17:59Speaker 1: he don't go that far at all. Yeah, she needs
- 18:01Speaker 1: to get out. Don't don't make any serious future plans
- 18:05Speaker 1: with this guy. You're right, Steve. This one's from Michelle.
- 18:09Speaker 1: She's an iHeart radio app listener. Hey Michelle. She says,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I'm a forty five year old woman and I've been
- 18:14Speaker 1: married to a man child for six years. The quarantine
- 18:19Speaker 1: has brought out a side of him that I can't stand.
- 18:22Speaker 1: If things don't go his way. He pouts for days
- 18:27Speaker 1: if he wants to have sex and I'm not in
- 18:29Speaker 1: the mood. He was whole sex from me for days.
- 18:32Speaker 1: If I cook and it's not what he wants, he
- 18:35Speaker 1: leaves and picks up food. We always have to watch
- 18:38Speaker 1: the shows he picks. And I've been asking him to
- 18:41Speaker 1: clean up behind himself, and he always tells me if
- 18:43Speaker 1: I come help him cut the grass, he'll help me
- 18:47Speaker 1: clean up the house. How can I get him to
- 18:50Speaker 1: grow up? Really? The voice? Now leave him, it's over.
- 18:59Speaker 1: He's not going to change you something. Why would he
- 19:03Speaker 1: for six years? Yeah, well you know you want six
- 19:06Speaker 1: more years of is? Well, she's thinking it's the quarantine
- 19:09Speaker 1: Steve that's brought out the side of him. Well, you know,
- 19:12Speaker 1: quarantine can't bring out nothing that ain't there. Hello, you
- 19:17Speaker 1: don't develop nothing in quarantine. Now you're just in there
- 19:22Speaker 1: with yourself. You have been allowed to see more of
- 19:26Speaker 1: who he really is. Yeah, quarantine ain't bought out nothing.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's just you got to sit there and see it
- 19:33Speaker 1: up close. Now he ain't at work. But after six
- 19:37Speaker 1: years keep in that way, you just couldn't see it
- 19:40Speaker 1: because y'all was busy quarantine, peeled back the curtain, baby.
- 19:46Speaker 1: A lot of neckd bananas walking around now, no skiing
- 19:49Speaker 1: on it? Yeah, praising. Why do they only have to
- 19:56Speaker 1: watch the shows he wants to watch? They only have
- 19:58Speaker 1: one TV? I mean, you know, and even if they did,
- 20:03Speaker 1: what I'm saying is that's selfish, right, that's crazy. You
- 20:06Speaker 1: know you probably want to watch TV with man together together. Okay,
- 20:11Speaker 1: what's listen. Divorce has is for reason. That's why they
- 20:17Speaker 1: got it. It's when you get it moments like this
- 20:22Speaker 1: and you realize you're married to a man child and
- 20:24Speaker 1: you just want the man. Uh huh he powder because
- 20:27Speaker 1: he don't have sex? Did he with whole sex from you?
- 20:30Speaker 1: We're playing this game at the house that is so childish.
- 20:34Speaker 1: All right, all right, we gotta get out of here.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Thank you, cello. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Right now. It is time for the nephew to step
- 20:44Speaker 1: in and run that prank back what you got for
- 20:46Speaker 1: his nest? All right, let's go, uh, don't leave this
- 20:50Speaker 1: house again. Let's go. Care dog. Hello, Yeah, I'm trying
- 20:54Speaker 1: to speak to Angel. Please listen, Angel, how you doing.
- 20:58Speaker 1: My name is Randy. I live in in the apartment
- 21:00Speaker 1: building that you live in. How you doing today? I'm
- 21:04Speaker 1: doing okay? Something wrong? Well, we got a little bit
- 21:07Speaker 1: of a problem. I know it's a lot going on
- 21:09Speaker 1: right now, you know, the with the virus and all,
- 21:11Speaker 1: but it's been brought to my attention. I talked to
- 21:15Speaker 1: the doorman and he was telling me, you're the only
- 21:18Speaker 1: person i've really seen going in and out of the building.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Where exactly do you work? If you don't mind me asking,
- 21:24Speaker 1: miss angel, I actually do mind you asking. Can you
- 21:29Speaker 1: tell me why you're concerned about where I work and
- 21:32Speaker 1: where I'm going? Okay, so here's a deal. Like, you know,
- 21:35Speaker 1: we're all concerned about, you know, this whole virus thing.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm noticing you going in and out this building every day.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Every day you're going in and out, and I noticed that.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So I asked the door man about you, and he
- 21:48Speaker 1: said something about that you had to go to work
- 21:51Speaker 1: or you you know, you got one of those jobs
- 21:54Speaker 1: that you you gotta be there or something like that.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't know, but yes, I'm an essential worker. But wait,
- 22:01Speaker 1: so where did you get my number from? I asked
- 22:05Speaker 1: around to a few of the neighbors that live on
- 22:07Speaker 1: your floor and somebody. I just told him I was concerned.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I wanted to talk to you about it. So my
- 22:12Speaker 1: problem is this, We're trying to keep this whole apartment
- 22:15Speaker 1: building safe, but you're going in and out of it.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Does not make it safe for us. You know, you
- 22:22Speaker 1: you kind of need to stay at home right now
- 22:24Speaker 1: until all of this is over. It. Are you telling
- 22:28Speaker 1: me what I need to do? Is that what I'm
- 22:30Speaker 1: telling you what you need to do in the safety
- 22:33Speaker 1: for the apartment building. That's what I'm saying. You don't
- 22:36Speaker 1: need to lead this. You don't need to lead a
- 22:37Speaker 1: house no more. Oh I am not throwing today. Listen,
- 22:42Speaker 1: unless you are going to tell me that you are
- 22:45Speaker 1: going to pay my rent and my bills and take
- 22:47Speaker 1: care of my daughter, you need to mind your do
- 22:49Speaker 1: in business. I can come and go as I did more.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Please now, you're not going to keep bringing it to see.
- 22:54Speaker 1: See that's what that's my problem. And see that's the
- 22:56Speaker 1: attitude I don't like. See if you're coming in and
- 22:59Speaker 1: out of this build and bringing we don't know if
- 23:01Speaker 1: you're bringing something in here or not. That's the problem
- 23:04Speaker 1: I have with this. And that's why I'm calling a
- 23:07Speaker 1: problem with with eating food every day because I work
- 23:09Speaker 1: in a grocery store. Do you have a problem with
- 23:12Speaker 1: making sure that the shelves are stocked? You work at
- 23:14Speaker 1: the grocery stow. I do work at the grocery store.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So you around all them people, and then you're coming
- 23:21Speaker 1: back to this apartment building, and I'm also around all
- 23:24Speaker 1: the food that you probably eat. What's your point? The
- 23:28Speaker 1: point let your hauls up in there eating cantuna from
- 23:31Speaker 1: two years ago, rice and beans. I'm pretty sure your
- 23:34Speaker 1: food came from the grocery store. So essential workers like
- 23:37Speaker 1: me are crucial to keep those stores open. Listen, listen,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I understand. But as far as you know, I'm I'm
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm part of the team that that controls all the
- 23:51Speaker 1: people in the building. As far as the native, I think,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I think you misunderstand who you might think you are
- 23:58Speaker 1: to me, you know, boy, To me, you're just a neighbor.
- 24:01Speaker 1: You don't control anything. You don't control where I go,
- 24:05Speaker 1: who I go with, when I go, when I come.
- 24:07Speaker 1: You don't control any of that. So I don't know
- 24:08Speaker 1: what you think you might control. Let me say this
- 24:13Speaker 1: end of the day, you need to keep your ass
- 24:15Speaker 1: at home until this is over with that's it. That's
- 24:17Speaker 1: not You're gonna make a waiting for you. I'll be
- 24:19Speaker 1: waiting for that check, for the rent and for my buildings.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So when you fly that underneath the door, I'll do
- 24:24Speaker 1: as you leave. I'm not coming, don't I'm not coming
- 24:28Speaker 1: nowhere neatly exactly. Let me say this here. If I
- 24:33Speaker 1: if I see you lead you building again, we're not
- 24:36Speaker 1: letting you back in. You are? Is this you have
- 24:43Speaker 1: lost your mind? Are you kidding me? No, I'm not
- 24:46Speaker 1: kidding you, because we see, see, see and see. This
- 24:49Speaker 1: is the attitude I don't like. Is somebody not taking
- 24:52Speaker 1: this serious? Attitude? You don't like? I pay rent here?
- 24:55Speaker 1: I have always paid rent here, and me and my
- 24:58Speaker 1: daughter lived here, and we mind our business. You weren't
- 25:00Speaker 1: gonna tell me when I go income and when I'm
- 25:03Speaker 1: gonna get into my own apartment, get out of here?
- 25:05Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? Listen? I'm gonna say this to you.
- 25:08Speaker 1: If you're not gonna abide by what I'm telling you
- 25:10Speaker 1: that I'm you already know. Is you and your daughter
- 25:14Speaker 1: Christie up there? I would tell her, I don't. Are
- 25:18Speaker 1: you and your daughter Christy? What? What? Okay? I don't
- 25:22Speaker 1: know who you think you were talking to. But I
- 25:25Speaker 1: know you are not saying my daughter's name. You need
- 25:27Speaker 1: to mind your mother's business. Me and my child are
- 25:31Speaker 1: my business. You and whoever is your business need to
- 25:34Speaker 1: stay over there and leave me and my family alone.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I cannot believe you up in here talking about my kid.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Are you you losh your mind? You must to wash
- 25:43Speaker 1: your mind? What you need? Did you say you listen?
- 25:45Speaker 1: I didn't say what unit I lived in. I didn't
- 25:49Speaker 1: say that. Okay, Well go ahead and tell me because
- 25:51Speaker 1: you've got so much to say. You got such a
- 25:53Speaker 1: problem with my mother and attitude. Okay, Well we can
- 25:55Speaker 1: have conversations face to face. How about that what you
- 26:00Speaker 1: was at work the other day? I already talked to Christie.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I was at work. What I do you know my
- 26:05Speaker 1: work schedule because I see you when you leave. But
- 26:08Speaker 1: I talked, I talked to you. I talked to your
- 26:10Speaker 1: daughter Christie when you left the other day. Okay, all right,
- 26:15Speaker 1: so this is clearly a problem. You got me stuff
- 26:19Speaker 1: because you need to mind your business, and I don't
- 26:21Speaker 1: ed bur want to hear anything about you think anything
- 26:25Speaker 1: near my daughter. You clearly have a stuff. Okay, but
- 26:29Speaker 1: your daughter your daughter Christie is the one that told
- 26:32Speaker 1: me to call you. I am sorry what your daughter
- 26:36Speaker 1: Christie told me to call you. Matter of fact, she
- 26:39Speaker 1: told me to prank call you. This is Nephew Tommy
- 26:42Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morty Show. Angel. You just got
- 26:44Speaker 1: pranked by your daughter Christie. Girl, Wait a minute, it's
- 27:00Speaker 1: a joke. Angel, It's a joke. Baby, Your daughter Christy
- 27:03Speaker 1: got me to prank you. Baby. M Okay, y'alling right
- 27:06Speaker 1: for this. I'm gonna get hurt. Oh okay, okay, okay,
- 27:15Speaker 1: this is not the time for this book. Are on
- 27:21Speaker 1: edge right now. I'm trying to I'm trying to loosen
- 27:26Speaker 1: up to age missus. Angel, That's all I'm trying to do.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I'm just trying to lose. Tell me twenty twenty, baby,
- 27:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty. What is the baddest and I mean the
- 27:35Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. Steve Harvey Show. All right,
- 27:43Speaker 1: thank you, coming up, I'm gonna come on more of
- 27:47Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 27:50Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So
- 27:56Speaker 1: here's the question, guys, should we really ever blame the
- 27:58Speaker 1: other woman or or the other man. Now, every time
- 28:02Speaker 1: we hear that someone was left they were cheated on
- 28:05Speaker 1: with another man or woman, folks, always we always blame
- 28:08Speaker 1: the person. Uh, we always blame that person first. Then
- 28:12Speaker 1: they blame the significant other, the spouse. We always blame
- 28:14Speaker 1: the woman first. I mean, and that's down down through history.
- 28:18Speaker 1: So so the question is who really should get the blame.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I think there's enough blame to go around, quite frank, Yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 1: but you know this is crazy, but normally the woman
- 28:30Speaker 1: is always the blame. I mean when you think about it,
- 28:33Speaker 1: down through history, people mostly blame the woman. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:37Speaker 1: so the So then the question is like, okay, so
- 28:40Speaker 1: if you're in a relationship and you leave that relationship
- 28:44Speaker 1: to get with someone else, whole's fault is it? Is
- 28:47Speaker 1: it the new person's fault, you know, the woman's fault,
- 28:51Speaker 1: or is it the man's fault for leaving and hurting
- 28:54Speaker 1: his significant other? You mean, but what I mean, but
- 28:57Speaker 1: he had to have had you're saying, a relationship with
- 29:00Speaker 1: this other person before he left his significant other, right
- 29:04Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah, so he was cheating Yeah yeah the person. Well,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you know, look, whoever is in the supposed committed relationship
- 29:16Speaker 1: is to blame for breaking the commitment. That's you know, Look,
- 29:20Speaker 1: you're not You're not. Look, you can't blame the other person.
- 29:24Speaker 1: The other person ain't promised you nothing. The other other
- 29:28Speaker 1: person didn't take no vows. The other person didn't promise
- 29:33Speaker 1: you nothing. You'll directed anger should be at the person
- 29:38Speaker 1: who broke the commitment to you, who broke your trust.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's your problem. Now you can feel now if you
- 29:44Speaker 1: see her, you're gonna have problem with her. Because she
- 29:47Speaker 1: knew that you were in a relationship. Why didn't she
- 29:49Speaker 1: leave you alone? That that's the other argument, you know
- 29:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying, that's the argument on the other side, Well,
- 29:54Speaker 1: she knew we were in a relationship, why was she
- 29:57Speaker 1: in it? And she already knew he had a girl
- 29:59Speaker 1: or vice? Why did he pursue it is the bigger question.
- 30:03Speaker 1: But because see, if it wasn't her, it would have
- 30:06Speaker 1: been somebody else. Because if he's in the pursue other
- 30:08Speaker 1: women's business, it doesn't matter that it's her. If it's
- 30:12Speaker 1: not her, it's gonna be somebody else. He pursued, right, yeah,
- 30:15Speaker 1: because he in the pursue game. But the women, so
- 30:19Speaker 1: most of the time, gets blamed, get blamed for that
- 30:22Speaker 1: women do. She knew we were in a relationship that
- 30:25Speaker 1: women don't usually blame the men off the men's cheat,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I mean after the fact. Yeah, but and they go
- 30:31Speaker 1: so far as to take the man back that is
- 30:33Speaker 1: cheated on. Yah. Yeah, but the woman is outcast. Yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: they threw with her. Yeah they're done. So you said,
- 30:44Speaker 1: blame the person that with the commitment. I agree with that. Yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 1: that's how it should pursue. That's how it should go.
- 30:51Speaker 1: But it doesn't often go that way. You're right though, Yeah,
- 30:57Speaker 1: Well I blame my best friend for breaking a breaking
- 31:01Speaker 1: up what relationship he dated? He ended up messing around
- 31:06Speaker 1: with my girlfriend long, long time ago, But I blame
- 31:09Speaker 1: his ass. I did. Junior. Well, don't don't say that.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Timing is everything's so personal on this show. I know
- 31:17Speaker 1: I'm trying, but he knows who it is to see
- 31:19Speaker 1: we comedian, that's how we we. We that jukes come
- 31:23Speaker 1: from this therapy, jumps that come from that highway. Yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I come back and then I catch them kissing on
- 31:34Speaker 1: the couch, like, oh Tom, But they looked at me
- 31:37Speaker 1: like you're gonna put that in the kitchen. No, I'm
- 31:39Speaker 1: not gonna put that in the kitchen. Timing, you know,
- 31:45Speaker 1: you know, he looking like days timing, looking like, are
- 31:52Speaker 1: you gonna put that down right there? No? I just
- 31:54Speaker 1: caught you kissing my girl. Yeah, you went to the
- 31:58Speaker 1: store and something. Yeah, and you left them alone in
- 32:01Speaker 1: the house. Yeah, and you come but this is your boy,
- 32:05Speaker 1: did you come back? You dog? You don't ever say, oh, man,
- 32:08Speaker 1: you got to be kidding me. But he looked at
- 32:10Speaker 1: me and allays something, Man, what's up? Man? You're gonna
- 32:13Speaker 1: put that in the kitchen. Now you're leaving like you're
- 32:15Speaker 1: gonna put that in the kitchen, like the grace is
- 32:17Speaker 1: going in the kitchen right now, the cocacoa. If you
- 32:21Speaker 1: whip the ass back then, like I said, we wouldn't
- 32:23Speaker 1: be in comb Everything gets violence. That's how you get paid.
- 32:29Speaker 1: If I walk in to my house and my partner
- 32:33Speaker 1: kissing my girl on the couch, yeah, it's gonna be
- 32:36Speaker 1: some hell up in him, It's gonna be some real
- 32:39Speaker 1: hell up in him, because dog, my house dog, and
- 32:43Speaker 1: you think less of me. You don't even have enough
- 32:46Speaker 1: respect for me. You already disrespecting me with my girl,
- 32:49Speaker 1: and so is she disrespecting me with you. But you're
- 32:51Speaker 1: gonna come in my house like I ain't nothing. Oh
- 32:55Speaker 1: gnaw dog, I promise you me and your asses at wall.
- 33:00Speaker 1: But see, and that's normally what happens, Steve, that's normally
- 33:04Speaker 1: what happens. That's that's normally what happens. What you just said.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But earlier you said it's the responsibility of the one
- 33:12Speaker 1: who's in the commitment. Yeah, but see now if here
- 33:15Speaker 1: you see it and see exception, it's a double standard. No,
- 33:21Speaker 1: I get it, but I'm saying it ain't no double standard.
- 33:24Speaker 1: This is what Okay, go ahead, finish your thought. Now
- 33:27Speaker 1: I'm listening to me. Now we're in this here. But
- 33:33Speaker 1: now if you might do yeah, and I know you
- 33:37Speaker 1: see now we got to go into man code. Man
- 33:41Speaker 1: code is you don't do your boys. Girl. It's too
- 33:45Speaker 1: many women out here that's available. So now you over
- 33:48Speaker 1: here in mind. Then you in my house. Yeah, that's
- 33:53Speaker 1: what happened to care same thing. Why wasn't that my house?
- 33:55Speaker 1: It was her house? Yeah? Well, oh I was a comedian,
- 33:58Speaker 1: you know, I just thought I I went just for Shelton,
- 34:02Speaker 1: But it was your friend though. You don't you understand
- 34:05Speaker 1: we had to stay at plate and fush that's this
- 34:08Speaker 1: yere you where you girl. I love four places. When
- 34:14Speaker 1: I was homeless, man, I probably told about six girls
- 34:17Speaker 1: I was in and they believed you in leg because
- 34:20Speaker 1: I had to let me stay that I love you nice.
- 34:24Speaker 1: So they come home where I'll be cooking everything. You'll
- 34:26Speaker 1: be doing everything. Yeah, and just just just not that Junior.
- 34:30Speaker 1: We can steal with his he's still around you, all right,
- 34:34Speaker 1: all right in Houston. We gotta go. You're listening show
- 34:43Speaker 1: all right now, guys, it's time for something funny. So
- 34:45Speaker 1: Steve Jay, Tommy Junior, Uh, you're here, Explain this, Jake.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It's called awkward situation. Awkward situations. We've all been in
- 34:53Speaker 1: awkward situations. Set it up. I want the fellas to
- 34:56Speaker 1: add to it. Here one, here's the first one. You
- 34:59Speaker 1: with your boy, You and your boy riding you decide
- 35:02Speaker 1: to go pick up your girl. Now he won't get
- 35:04Speaker 1: in the back seat. He sits his ass in the middle. Awkward,
- 35:09Speaker 1: been there here in the middle of me and my girl? Yeah?
- 35:14Speaker 1: Is that what you? We gotta get him, but out
- 35:17Speaker 1: of the car, garth. He can't roll with us. He
- 35:21Speaker 1: screwed over. No, you ain't up under me? Do you
- 35:27Speaker 1: up under me? Why is your hands in your lap situation.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You and your girl upstairs getting busy, just making noise. Yeah,
- 35:42Speaker 1: you come downstairs. You thought her parents were gone. Words, Poppy,
- 35:54Speaker 1: still here your mama, but they're looking upside your head.
- 36:01Speaker 1: What you're doing? Our baby? What you doing? My baby?
- 36:08Speaker 1: My baby? Whoa? It'll never sound like I'm sorry? How
- 36:15Speaker 1: come you don't sound like that? Like what you got
- 36:19Speaker 1: you got? I'm just saying, if you see somebody like
- 36:23Speaker 1: that when you come back, said you see your mother?
- 36:24Speaker 1: And what can you really say? Missus? Smith? Lord thought
- 36:30Speaker 1: y'all was leaving? Hello, y'all being there. I ain't got
- 36:38Speaker 1: another one. There you go. You said something about somebody
- 36:41Speaker 1: you just talking major trash and you thought the phone
- 36:47Speaker 1: was off on you. Oh yeah, I haven't done that.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I have done that. I have forgotten to ain't up? God,
- 37:03Speaker 1: I got it. I got an awkward situation. Okay, what
- 37:07Speaker 1: you ever lost? Somebody ever come up to you really
- 37:11Speaker 1: upset and start crying. But they cried, but they got
- 37:15Speaker 1: bad breath. And you're trying to listen to him because
- 37:21Speaker 1: you know something wrong, but that breath is pushing you back. Hey,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and you gotta keep asking them what they say because
- 37:29Speaker 1: they crying and you're trying to get far away. Yeah, ha, Hey,
- 37:42Speaker 1: what's wrong man? Your breath can't be like that and
- 37:46Speaker 1: you cry with your mouth over. All right, we'll be
- 37:52Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 37:54Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, All right, Steve, go ahead, Well,
- 38:03Speaker 1: now what you about to him? It's pure comedic genius,
- 38:14Speaker 1: but I must lay a disclaimer. This is going to
- 38:19Speaker 1: be a little edgy. He's gonna ruffle a couple of feathers.
- 38:28Speaker 1: So I'm just letting you know this. This is Jay
- 38:30Speaker 1: Anthony Brown as you couldn't do it, and I kind
- 38:37Speaker 1: of got an idea. I don't know exactly what it is,
- 38:42Speaker 1: but I'm in supportive comedy. Yeah, but I'm saying we're
- 38:46Speaker 1: doing this with a disclaimer that no one can call
- 38:50Speaker 1: us and say nothing about it. I don't know exactly
- 38:53Speaker 1: what he gonna do, but he could ruffle some feathers.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Lady and gentlemen. Jay Anthony Brown, all right, what I'm
- 39:00Speaker 1: what I'm about to do right now? Every year, a
- 39:04Speaker 1: lot of people, good people you know, meaning good have
- 39:08Speaker 1: quanza parties. Now, yes, I don't think it's a lot
- 39:14Speaker 1: of people. You can go ahead, you must be trying
- 39:18Speaker 1: to build this jump up, and I'm trying to trying
- 39:22Speaker 1: to build up not a lot of quans. How about
- 39:25Speaker 1: to see people have a quanza party and don't a
- 39:28Speaker 1: lot of people come, and they wonder why people don't come?
- 39:33Speaker 1: From what I have? The suggestions to get more people
- 39:37Speaker 1: to your quanza party. Number one, offer a free die
- 39:43Speaker 1: she get to anybody who will show up, one size
- 39:49Speaker 1: fit all right, everybody that shows get your quanza party.
- 40:02Speaker 1: You get a free being piper. If you don't like me,
- 40:07Speaker 1: if you can't everybody don't like bellow, this one is
- 40:13Speaker 1: really good. This is really really good. If you have
- 40:17Speaker 1: a quanza party, Steve, you can demonstrate what I mean
- 40:20Speaker 1: by that. Do not have more than two philosophying brothers
- 40:25Speaker 1: or sisters at your party. Don't want you don't want
- 40:30Speaker 1: more than two in there. You don't want to, you know, brothers.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Let me say this about this time, this period that
- 40:36Speaker 1: we partake of, in this equestrious moment, yea history defiling
- 40:43Speaker 1: or the gratuitriusness and the barbarousness of what these holidays
- 40:49Speaker 1: are too. That's why we celebrate quanza. But I dare say, though, brother,
- 40:57Speaker 1: you don't want that we if we have compitulate the situation,
- 41:02Speaker 1: knowing that it is far regarically not a capability of
- 41:07Speaker 1: scientific split. Let let me interject some sensibility into this conversation.
- 41:15Speaker 1: You don't want a whole bunch of them at your party, Okay,
- 41:19Speaker 1: it tends up the mood. Number five, Easer, This is
- 41:24Speaker 1: very important, Easer. You know what he's up mean right,
- 41:28Speaker 1: he's up on the incense and sage. Okay, because the
- 41:39Speaker 1: black of my nose is burning. How about shoes that
- 41:45Speaker 1: like I got a headache, not my green taste? Like
- 41:56Speaker 1: safe number two? You want number seven? You want to
- 42:05Speaker 1: play something other than the Lion King. And this is
- 42:08Speaker 1: ben pointant. The African drummers don't have to play all
- 42:12Speaker 1: night long, Okay, they don't. Shirley and Last but night,
- 42:22Speaker 1: last night. Don't tell nobody it's a quis of party.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Just tell them. Okay, I have to tell him something
- 42:31Speaker 1: you got I'm having a bar I'm having a party,
- 42:38Speaker 1: all right. Listen, coming up, frank phone call that's coming
- 42:46Speaker 1: up right after compress spell like you're listening to coming
- 42:56Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 42:58Speaker 1: minutes after. It's Today's Strawberry letter. Right now, the nephew
- 43:02Speaker 1: is here though. Yeah, with today's prank phone call, what
- 43:05Speaker 1: you got for us? Now, brand spanking new this one.
- 43:07Speaker 1: It's called cripper cast. Three people passed and they can
- 43:12Speaker 1: you know, the family might not have enough money falling
- 43:15Speaker 1: came just one can cripper can three people one case.
- 43:24Speaker 1: The concept this can work. Thanks money, take a listening.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Mortuary can help you. Hey, how are you doing? How
- 43:36Speaker 1: you Calvin? How you doing? My name is Brandon man
- 43:38Speaker 1: or Brandon Giles. Uh, I'm calling. We've got somebody that
- 43:45Speaker 1: has passed. Actually three people passed away. Yeah, I thank
- 43:52Speaker 1: you for that. Man. It was kind of expected, so
- 43:56Speaker 1: you know, it wasn't something that called us off guard.
- 43:59Speaker 1: But you know, but all all you know we're still
- 44:00Speaker 1: grieving about losing our loved ones. But but I wanted
- 44:04Speaker 1: to give you all a call. We're trying to um
- 44:07Speaker 1: pick a particular funeral home on who we want to
- 44:11Speaker 1: take care of the services. Yes, yes, sir, yes sir, okay,
- 44:15Speaker 1: we can definitely help you with that. And uh, once again,
- 44:20Speaker 1: I just want to to you know, just let you
- 44:22Speaker 1: know that we can pretty much do the whole game,
- 44:25Speaker 1: that we can make sure that you're need to taking
- 44:28Speaker 1: from you know, from from now on. UM, we're here
- 44:31Speaker 1: for you showing to get that out. What is your
- 44:35Speaker 1: main need? You said, three people? Sir, Yes, yes, yes,
- 44:41Speaker 1: I wanted to bring attention to you. Do you guys
- 44:44Speaker 1: customized casks? Yes, we get goal plating, uh, engraving. We
- 44:51Speaker 1: even have a new thing where we can put the
- 44:53Speaker 1: picture of the person on the outside like a semi
- 44:56Speaker 1: gloss coding last a couple of hours. I don't I
- 45:00Speaker 1: don't need that all no goal or nothing like that. Listen,
- 45:03Speaker 1: listen what I want to do. Is it any way
- 45:06Speaker 1: that you could maybe uh customize a casket that can
- 45:10Speaker 1: accommodate three people? Um? Uh yes, like we we can.
- 45:16Speaker 1: We can customize each individual casket for each individual. No, no, no, no, Calvin,
- 45:23Speaker 1: that didn't want to ask. What I'm saying is if
- 45:25Speaker 1: I want to like like I like I said, d
- 45:28Speaker 1: my could they was all close? You know, I don't
- 45:31Speaker 1: have a problem with all three of them being in
- 45:33Speaker 1: the same casket. I get you. Um uh you know,
- 45:39Speaker 1: to my knowledge is as far as I've been in
- 45:41Speaker 1: this business, I've never uh I'm not really sure we
- 45:45Speaker 1: can actually do that. I mean, I mean, I mean,
- 45:48Speaker 1: but what's the problem if we can get them all
- 45:50Speaker 1: in there and clab well, sir, I mean I think
- 45:54Speaker 1: that's a I don't even think if for one, it's
- 45:57Speaker 1: legal in this state or any state. Uh, three people
- 46:01Speaker 1: in one casket, um and ethics wise, I uh, that's
- 46:06Speaker 1: not really something that How can I say that? We
- 46:09Speaker 1: actually you know, but if you customizing a casket, Calvin,
- 46:14Speaker 1: then you ought to be able to put as many
- 46:16Speaker 1: people in there if you make it deep enough and
- 46:18Speaker 1: wide enough. Ought to be able to get three people
- 46:20Speaker 1: in there. Right. Well, the customization is is the outer
- 46:25Speaker 1: side of the casket and maybe you know some people
- 46:29Speaker 1: uh even put TV screens on the inside or some
- 46:32Speaker 1: of their their their loved ones, memorable mementos. We customize
- 46:38Speaker 1: it for that, you know, colorwise. So what about when
- 46:42Speaker 1: when is a person real big? Uh? You know, having
- 46:45Speaker 1: said person, you know you got to have a casket
- 46:47Speaker 1: that can accommodate them, right, yes, But okay, so so
- 46:51Speaker 1: you ought to be able to put you ought to
- 46:53Speaker 1: be able to put three people in one casket if
- 46:55Speaker 1: they can fit. If you put two one way in
- 46:58Speaker 1: one the other other way, then you ought to be
- 47:01Speaker 1: to have all three of them in there at one time. Um,
- 47:04Speaker 1: is there anybody else around you and your family that
- 47:07Speaker 1: can help talk with me about this. I'm talking right now.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to get I'm trying to accommodate my cousins
- 47:14Speaker 1: and get them straight. And I'm asking you can we
- 47:16Speaker 1: get them in a casket that one casket that's can
- 47:19Speaker 1: accommodate three people if you put two pillars on money
- 47:22Speaker 1: in one pillars. That's not something we're really that ain't
- 47:27Speaker 1: just used to doing, Calvin. But I'm calling you telling
- 47:30Speaker 1: you that's the way I want this customize. Man. All right, brother, look, brother, brother,
- 47:35Speaker 1: just just chill out with customs, all right. So we're
- 47:37Speaker 1: trying to get three people. I have a standard plan.
- 47:42Speaker 1: It'll be a low end standard plan for three individual caskets.
- 47:48Speaker 1: We ain't gotta we all have enough money for three
- 47:51Speaker 1: individual caskets. I keep telling you that we got room
- 47:54Speaker 1: for one casket. We just need to big enough, man,
- 47:58Speaker 1: so you could get everybody in. Then close the dough.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not. I don't want to go
- 48:03Speaker 1: back and forth with you, sir. I know this is
- 48:04Speaker 1: a time. Then go. You ain't gotta go back and
- 48:07Speaker 1: forth with me. Building to our knees. I can bury
- 48:09Speaker 1: my family. I don't really know what to tell you, sir,
- 48:14Speaker 1: but I'm just really trying to help. I'm trying. Won't
- 48:16Speaker 1: you tell me you're gonna get three people in the
- 48:18Speaker 1: casket looking good. We cannot do that. You houling that. Man,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm the one going through bereathing. I understand that. But
- 48:26Speaker 1: you are, you're, you're, you're use the foul language. We
- 48:30Speaker 1: can't do it, brother, you hear me not, that's no
- 48:34Speaker 1: hold on my cousin them said they wanted to. No, sir, No,
- 48:40Speaker 1: we can't. Okay. Look I'm look, hey man, y'all gonna
- 48:44Speaker 1: bury these three people, and you gonna put all three
- 48:47Speaker 1: of them in the same damn casket. Man, two two
- 48:50Speaker 1: on one, one on one end and one on the other. One. Man, sir,
- 48:54Speaker 1: if you're drinking, just ain't nobody let me tell you something. Man,
- 48:58Speaker 1: let me say this to you. You ain't Calvin, right, Yes,
- 49:01Speaker 1: yes it is okay, So Calvin, Calvin, let me say
- 49:04Speaker 1: this to you. Either y'all gonna bury my cousins the
- 49:08Speaker 1: way I want it, or Calvin, you're gonna get your
- 49:11Speaker 1: whore you talking to ye? That's what's going now, now, nothing. Now.
- 49:15Speaker 1: That's it, right there, sir. I've been trying to be
- 49:17Speaker 1: as professional as I can. This whole conversation. It's as
- 49:20Speaker 1: crazy as it is, But now it ain't nothing crazy
- 49:22Speaker 1: about no, no, no, no no. I told you I
- 49:24Speaker 1: want you to bury my cousin. Come on down here.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I got someplace to put your body and your cousin's body.
- 49:29Speaker 1: How about that? Huh? Yeah? Because you know you don't
- 49:34Speaker 1: You don't sound too damn confident. You don't sound too confident, Calvin.
- 49:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. I'm gonna tell you
- 49:41Speaker 1: right now, this ain't the place and I'm not the
- 49:45Speaker 1: one you will be in the ground messing with us.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Matter of fact, if you come here, I'm gonna you up.
- 49:51Speaker 1: How about that? Okay, Calvin, Okay, Calvin, let me tell
- 49:54Speaker 1: you something, Calvin, me and Tommy gonna be down there
- 49:57Speaker 1: to day. Then I'm bringing Tommy with me. It's Tommy. Huh.
- 50:02Speaker 1: This is nephew tomt Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Baby,
- 50:05Speaker 1: you just got prank, Calvin. Yeo, y'all have me to
- 50:11Speaker 1: whip somebody. Hell, y'all, I just want to put you
- 50:16Speaker 1: up to this Reginald that works to you. Yes, I'm gonna.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna Reggie you bet watch with you drink, you
- 50:24Speaker 1: bet watch with your teeth. I'm on your to revenge. Man, Hey, Calvin,

- 50:41Speaker 1: But I'm just like two bodies this boy, one body
- 50:45Speaker 1: this way, hand to foot, three different pillars, we work
- 50:49Speaker 1: that thing. Yeah, well, you're probably gonna need ten, Jay,
- 50:56Speaker 1: You're probably gonna get five on each side on rollers. Yeah,
- 51:02Speaker 1: but you saved some money, Jay, Darling like cat bunk
- 51:08Speaker 1: beds for three people. All right, I got a bad idea.

- 51:57Speaker 1: I mean, thank you Tommy. Now, if you're propt, inside voice,
- 52:04Speaker 1: inside voice, inside voice, love you, love you, love you
- 52:14Speaker 1: all right. Subject to my man wants to share his goodies.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty seven year old female,
- 52:23Speaker 1: and my man is slightly younger than I am. He's
- 52:26Speaker 1: an underwear model for several online magazines, and that's why
- 52:30Speaker 1: I fell for him. He has a really great body.
- 52:34Speaker 1: His modeling has been an issue in our relationship because
- 52:37Speaker 1: of all the raunchy comments he gets on social media.
- 52:41Speaker 1: He loves the attention. He says, it's all just for fun,
- 52:44Speaker 1: and he never responds to the women and men that
- 52:47Speaker 1: hit on him. The attention has really gone to his head.
- 52:51Speaker 1: And he told me that while he was on a
- 52:53Speaker 1: modeling gig last week, a producer approached him with an
- 52:56Speaker 1: offer to get into the porn industry. Now that he's
- 53:00Speaker 1: more confident in his body. He told me that he
- 53:03Speaker 1: wants to try it and that he wants me to
- 53:06Speaker 1: be okay with it because he could make a lot
- 53:09Speaker 1: of money. I told him, hell no, he was not
- 53:12Speaker 1: going to get paid to cheat on me. He keeps
- 53:14Speaker 1: telling me that it's not like that. He said the
- 53:18Speaker 1: sex is strictly business and there are no emotions involved.
- 53:23Speaker 1: He thinks I'm being selfish and have old school thinking,
- 53:27Speaker 1: and I should have an open mind about it. I
- 53:29Speaker 1: want to stand my ground with this because the modeling
- 53:32Speaker 1: was a big problem for us, so I know porn
- 53:34Speaker 1: will only make matters worse. And what do we do
- 53:37Speaker 1: if and when people start recognizing him? He said he
- 53:41Speaker 1: wouldn't be ashamed at all. I love him and could
- 53:44Speaker 1: see myself marrying him, but not if he's okay with
- 53:47Speaker 1: sleeping with other girls in front of a camera. I
- 53:50Speaker 1: asked him if the tables were turned and I got
- 53:52Speaker 1: an offer to do porn, would he mind this man
- 53:56Speaker 1: hit the roof and told me there is a big difference.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I don't play and on testing that theory because I
- 54:02Speaker 1: would never have sex with another man while I'm with
- 54:04Speaker 1: him on camera or not. I don't think this is normal.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Please help. Well, I absolutely one percent agree with you.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I don't think it's normal either, especially not for someone
- 54:14Speaker 1: who claims they care about you and how you feel.
- 54:17Speaker 1: And this bothers you so much, you know, seems like
- 54:20Speaker 1: he would take that into consideration. I mean, modeling is
- 54:23Speaker 1: one thing, but porn is something all together different. You're
- 54:27Speaker 1: having sex on camera with one or more partners. You're right,
- 54:31Speaker 1: the attention has gone to his head. You know. He
- 54:35Speaker 1: says that you know a producer approached him to get
- 54:38Speaker 1: into it, and he wants to try it because of
- 54:40Speaker 1: the money, and you don't like it. He says it's
- 54:44Speaker 1: strictly business and there are no emotions evolved involved. That
- 54:48Speaker 1: may be the case. I don't know, but I don't
- 54:50Speaker 1: see how that can be the case. You know that
- 54:53Speaker 1: he won't be into it some kind of way. You know,
- 54:57Speaker 1: you're thinking about marrying this guy. I don't think this
- 55:00Speaker 1: guy is marriage material, not where he is right now.
- 55:04Speaker 1: You're twenty seven, he's younger than you. He's interested in
- 55:07Speaker 1: doing porn for money. That's not what who you want
- 55:10Speaker 1: in a husband. You got to think about that. He
- 55:13Speaker 1: will be having sex on camera with one or more partners.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Okay at any given time. Uh huh, yeah exactly. How yeah,
- 55:28Speaker 1: Oh I'm worn out? Who what a day? But you know,
- 55:34Speaker 1: remember though, in the third sentence of the letter, you
- 55:37Speaker 1: said he was an underwear model with a great body,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and that's why you fell for him. So that's why
- 55:41Speaker 1: what a lot of other women are seeing too. And
- 55:44Speaker 1: he's into it. You said it yourself. The attention has
- 55:47Speaker 1: gone to his head. He's this guy is not marriage
- 55:50Speaker 1: material right now. He's definitely not that. So get marriage
- 55:54Speaker 1: off your mind. And if he does not change his
- 55:56Speaker 1: mind about doing porn, I think you need to do
- 56:00Speaker 1: away with this relationship. Get out of this relationship, because
- 56:03Speaker 1: I can see nothing but hurt from him in your future. Steve,
- 56:09Speaker 1: this letter is really ridiculous. I don't even see why
- 56:11Speaker 1: we why we're reading it. It don't make no damn
- 56:14Speaker 1: sense on no level. Nothing in here makes sense. You're
- 56:17Speaker 1: twenty seven, your man is slightly younger. He's an underwear model.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I said, you're done. Yeah, he modeled Drawlsdear, No, he
- 56:31Speaker 1: Drawls model, But you how heavy you want him to be?
- 56:38Speaker 1: Rich in the mind? You think this boy fittn't that
- 56:42Speaker 1: be he modeled Drawls he takes his shirt off and
- 56:47Speaker 1: pull it fans down and he standing now and act
- 56:51Speaker 1: like he ain't got drawls on. See, that's what the
- 56:55Speaker 1: key to underwear modeling is. As you're standing there in
- 57:00Speaker 1: your draws, it is to stand and pose like you
- 57:04Speaker 1: ain't got on draws. Bro, you gotta look like you
- 57:09Speaker 1: got on slacks or some Bermuda shots with some boat shoes.
- 57:17Speaker 1: What wa a minute, That's how they stand there and
- 57:20Speaker 1: look like they're on the top deck of a ship
- 57:23Speaker 1: going some damn well, one leg up, hand on their knee. Ye,
- 57:29Speaker 1: close your lens. Your nasty ass got them draws on? Okay,
- 57:34Speaker 1: and they read. And let me tell y'all something. I'm
- 57:37Speaker 1: tiring of these men with these good bodied models. That's
- 57:39Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask you. Y'all really need to
- 57:43Speaker 1: let out of shape models. Do these underwear man underwear ass?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Because hell, we buy underwear too, and we buy more
- 57:54Speaker 1: underwear the little fine ass dude draws. Elastics come out
- 58:01Speaker 1: way more often, holes tarring them way more often. We're
- 58:07Speaker 1: gonna have part two of Steve's response, and I'll answer
- 58:10Speaker 1: yours your question as well time some other time. Okay, subject,
- 58:15Speaker 1: my man wants to share his goodies. We'll be back
- 58:19Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. Right after this. You're listening,
- 58:25Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter. My man
- 58:29Speaker 1: wants to care goodies. This woman dating? Is she twenty seven?
- 58:32Speaker 1: Dating this young boy that's an underwear model? He model draws. Now,
- 58:37Speaker 1: all of a sudden he's modeling. Don't become an issue
- 58:41Speaker 1: because all of the raunchy comments he get on social media,
- 58:45Speaker 1: what you want to comments to be. He's standing in
- 58:47Speaker 1: his draws. That's raunchy as it is, so all the
- 58:52Speaker 1: comments he ge't gonna be raunchy. Ain't nobody looked in
- 58:55Speaker 1: him and say, wow, nice time? You know why they
- 58:59Speaker 1: ain't saying that he ain't got nothing new? Oh he
- 59:02Speaker 1: got on the draws. What sore? Let's just let me
- 59:06Speaker 1: do my lane, bother. You don't understand why. That's because
- 59:11Speaker 1: you know what what she tripped, what she thinks she had,
- 59:14Speaker 1: and she's gonna righteously. You ain't got nothing now. All
- 59:18Speaker 1: he loves the attention. He says, it's just for fun.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He don't never respond to the women and men that
- 59:23Speaker 1: hit on it. The attention had gone to his head.
- 59:26Speaker 1: He told me to why he was on the modeling
- 59:28Speaker 1: gig last week. A producer, A producer approach you. You
- 59:32Speaker 1: must have been in la A producer right there, everybody
- 59:39Speaker 1: out here, damn producer approach you with an offer for
- 59:42Speaker 1: him to get in the port. Then you already got
- 59:44Speaker 1: your draws. You just standing there? Ain't your draw now?
- 59:47Speaker 1: He wants to work with no damn drawls now because
- 59:53Speaker 1: once you get in the port or, you're gonna find
- 59:55Speaker 1: out you ain't the big ain't the big dog on
- 59:57Speaker 1: the block like you was when you had little draws. Come.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: They're gonna have some boys come in that room, gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: scare you. This man just into there looking like a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: can of ass freshman. Oh, your little draws on. You
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: need to keep your drawls on the stick competition in
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the pouring on movie. Now he's more confident with his body.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: He told me he wants to try, and he wants
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: me to be okay with it because he could make
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a lot of money, could make a lot of money.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Ain't a lot of money in Poe Man, and people
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: ain't rich. I just I told him, hell now, not
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: gonna be okay for him to get paid to cheat
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: on me. He keep telling me. It ain't like that
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: hit the key in the letter, he said, sex. It's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: strictly bis. Wow, I agree. That's what it's always been.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Because I'm in here trying to take care of my
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: damn business. That's all it is. Yeah, boy, so that's
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: what you thought you could tell your lady. You gotta
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: be out your rabid mind, he said, ain't no emotions involved.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: He thinks I'm being selfish and have some old school thinking.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: They're called values, they're called hopes and dreams, and that's
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: not old fashioned. I should have an open mind about
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: it now. She said, I want to stand my ground
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: with this pawn stuff. Because she want to stand in
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the ground because if Marlin is a big problem, she
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: no pawn gonna take it making words and it will
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and what we do. And he said that it wouldn't
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: shame at all. I love him and I could see
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: myself married to him. Now. Sherley made a good point
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: right here. You see yourself, man, who this little boy
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: that's got these draws on? And now having the draws on,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: it's too much. But the jars adn't got restrictive. Now
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: you want to be free. And then all of a
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: sudden now you want to sleep with a bunch of
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: people for money. So I already know you return to
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: some of these aunt your phone call because they dude
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: went to his head, lady, and if you know what
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I mean, it didn't really really went to his head.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: So now I asked him if the tables were turning,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and I got an offer to do point with his mind.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: This man hit the roof, told me there's a big difference,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: not when you explaining it to somebody. It's not a
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: big difference, soldier. I know what you're trying to say,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: but it is. It is the same thing. I don't
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: plan on testing that theory because I would never have sex.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Here's where I know this, finn't get crazy. This relationship
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: is all. I would never have sex with another man
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: while I'm with him. So that's a good statement. That's
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: a fair statement that the system made. I would never
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: have sex with another man while I'm with him. But
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: if you can't your heads down there to shoot this
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: point or moving, I ain't down there with you where
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you think I'm gonna be on camera or not. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: don't think it's normal. Please help, No, it's not normal,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and you stupid for sitting up here even entertaining this foolishness,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: and it's time let him go so he can go
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: live his life, because he gonna go do the portough
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: You you better believe that because it duran to his head.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: He think you pretty, I'm told women all the time
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you retty court dating, he's pretty. Asked me get you
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a nice, regular ass looking do to somebody that just
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: looks all right like who it's a good like all

- 1:04:49Speaker 1: so Junior is here today with this is a comedy segment.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: You call Junior when dead? What's that about? When did
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you know? We've been seeing a lot of things that
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: have been happening, but you just don't know when it started. Like,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: for example, when did kids getting lucky? You never go
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to the floor and see this little baby in front
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: of you, when all my drawls was in the same
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: luggage with my grandmother, all my draws up against the brazil.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: When the kids getting lucky? I don't know when it started?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: When did people start wearing house shoes everywhere? I had church?
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Somebody stepped out their house shoes to get to the altar.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: And now when you leave your shoes out here in
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: church like that? When when did it happen? Like when
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: did vegans get so outspoken? What do you mean you
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: ain't never know who the hell wasn't vegan? That it
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: upsetting by everybody? You can't eat, that it had a mother,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I can't vegans? Is I mean? When did all this
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: stuff starts me up? They speaking up? When did we
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: just never mind just wearing ripped jeans. Remember used to
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: get your ass your the jeans to? Why am I
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: looking at the Wayne draws? Just when did that start?
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: We just don't know when it happened. When people used
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to borrow money, Now they're cash shapping. Yeah, but dinner
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: he did the ass? Remember I can our borrow? What
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: was important? Yes, they don't do that, no more, they
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: don't do none of that. When did big guys just
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: start showing their stomach with no results? You know they don't.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: They don't care, no remorse. They just the stomach just
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: out a matter of fact? When did women just start
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: wearing their stomach? St When did all of this happened? When?
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: When did white kids get comfortable with saying the N
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: word to black kids? Where did that start? When did
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: we start knocking our kids? When did that stop? N
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Because my nephew is sitting up here making fls at
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: school and we ain't been in school a week. When
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: did this start? Just when did it happen? We just
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: don't know. We have to figure out when did that
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: happened that we start thinking about it? This stuff stuff changed?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: M No, No, when did it happen? Wow, I'll tell
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: your love profile. Okay, here's one that everybody knows. This
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: something we don't even know when they started. But remember
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: when when did when a jogging suit? Member? When when
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: it meant you was going jogging? Oh yeah, not people
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: wearing joggon sus a jogging? No, damn what you're talking
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: about me? That used to mean something you got on
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: the jogging suit. I can assume your ask what's going job? Na? Na? Na?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: You're asking drive throughs? You You ain't doing nothing. We're
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: walking in it, sleeping right now. I just work now,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I'm in one right now. All right, we'll be back
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right now.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: You're listening show? All right? So what's something you and
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: your significant other can't do without getting into an argument? Steve?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Here's an email from Jermaine, who's a loyal listener from Dallas. Uh.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: It says, Dear Steve, there are many things my wife
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and I love to do together, but one thing we
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: cannot do together is to go grocery shopping. When I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: go to the store, I like to run in and
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: out as fast as I can. When my wife goes
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: grocery shopping, she likes to look and touch every item
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: in the store, and it just leads us to arguing.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: So hey, morning crew, most of you all are married.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I'm curious what do you guys in your spouse is
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: avoid doing together because it always leads to an Argumentum,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: So again, Steve, that was from Jermaine and Dallas and
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: we're gonna Yeah, we started with you, and I hope
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: he goes. I hope it's long enough that we go
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to the break. Come on, we started with team Tea. Yeah,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: me and Margie. We can't sit down and watch no
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: damn sporting ethan not now one. Oh, we're not fitting
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: the argue about who are to win or nothing like that.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: She don't know a damn thing about no sports. She
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: don't know none of the rules. I want to sit
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: down and ask questions the whole damn time. I can't
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: why you, Holly, because they scored what did they score
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: a touchdown? How many points is that six? Why they
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: got seven because they kicked the extra point? Why they
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: kicked a point because they got a touchdown? Why they
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: only got three because they kicked the field goal? How
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: come they ain't get a touchdown because they didn't score
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: to touchdown? Who you okay, baby, I was in here
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: watching again. Oh so you don't want me to watch
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: a game with you? I said this, I thought I
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: said it under my bro. She heard that because she
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: got mother hearing. All right, I'll tell you what mine is.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: But it's indirectly related to cooking, like when we go out.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Like when we go out, like for instance, Sturday went
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: out to my friends. They had they had a party,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: my girlfriend celebrated her birthday. Whenever we go out to
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: a party to someone's house, Nesto piles his plate when
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: he gets to the field. Yeah, why do you think
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: he wouldn't embarrassing, But it's embarrassing to me. And he
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: goes back for a second, and my girlfriends are like, oh, Nesto,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: go ahead. Their husband's man, come on, eat what you want.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: All the time that embarrasses me. So in the car
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: it is an argument. It is an argument on the
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: way home. And then he gonna bring home a plate.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Come on, boy, it's on the back seat. Somebody got
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to keep your weight up. Hey, Shirley, it's on the
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: back seat and it don't even move it's so heavy. Exactly, stick,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: exactly were you there? Exactly? This is every time we
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: go to a party, so you just that damn hungry.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: You're gonna eat that much food? Baby, I'm just at
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: the party. Everybody else's he You ain't got to eat
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: that much damn food. Now, just shame all in here,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: all the food falling off your plate while you walk it. Yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: and then everybody in the party, Come on, Nesto, it's okay,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and so can get you some food. Comes eat. Then
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: you sitting up that eating and crime, what does you climb? Yea,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you got some meat? Yeah? What teens coming down your
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: face because it's the moment he said, I don't need
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: no season. Everybody's all around him, sick yourself. Oh man,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: all right, so that's mine anyway at the time, they
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: don't make a pleat go take it to the house.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: They've become about surely on the radio all the time.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Make self plate though they know I'm already in the car.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Take the pot, nest off. We're good. You can bring
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: him back later. Well time me you got out of it, dogg.

- 1:13:16Speaker 1: year since March, you know, and that lonely feeling and stuff,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: you know, you get all that stuff. I would just
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: really literally get in my truck and just drive around
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: listen to some good music. It changed your whole mood.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I mean, you don't have to just be in the house.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: You could be isolated, right man. You know. I thrown
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: some Eyes of Brothers, then I jump over to some
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: jay Z. Then I would go back and forth, you know,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: then put my Jodac on the Whole Jose album. You're
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: supposed to start off with, Well, let me tell you something.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: This is what I learned. The Whole Jodes album, the
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: first album it is. If you just get on twenty five,

- 1:13:51Speaker 1: just going around to exactly all seventeen songs? Go rogue baby. Yeah.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: So that's how you take a negative and make it
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: a podcast. A lot of my rogue moments, I was like, yeah,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I did this. Now I'm back in the house, you know. Okay, dude,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna i'mnna make me a rogue moment to do.

- 1:15:10Speaker 1: what you're just saying? That's not We gotta get him,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: but out of the car, garth. He can't roll with us. Man,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: he screwed over. I know you ain't up under me?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Do you up under me? Why is your hands in
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: your lamp? Situation? You and you girl upstairs getting busy,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: just making noise. Yeah, you come downstairs? You thought her

- 1:16:02Speaker 1: What't you doing? My baby? My baby? Whoa dad? It
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: will never sound like I'm sorry, I come you don't
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: sound like that, like what you got you got. I'm
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: just saying, if you see somebody like that when you
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: come down and said you see your mother? And what
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: can you really think? Missus? Smith? Lord? Why thought y'all
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: was leaving? Hello, y'all been here, I ain't got another one?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: There you go? You said something about somebody You just
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: talking major trash and you thought the phone was off
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: on mute. Oh but yeah, I haven't done that. Yeah,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: I have done that. I have forgotten to hang up. God,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I got I got an awkward situation. Okay, what you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: ever lost? Somebody ever come up to you really upset
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: and start crying. But they cried, but they got bad
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: breath and you're trying to listen to him because you
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: know something wrong. But that breath is pushing you back. Hey,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: and you gotta keep asking on what they say because
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: they crying and you're trying to get far away. Yeah, hey,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: that's wrong, man. Your breath can't be like that and
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you cry with your mouth over all right, thank you.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: We will be back with closing remarks from the one
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: after you're listening show. All right, Steve, here we are
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: our last. The break of the day was a good day.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Y y Yeah, And we're not gonna take up any
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: more time, Steve, because people have been waiting for today's
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: closing remarks. You know, it's really something that I was
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: thinking about, and it started with how I was assessed
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: in my own life, and then as I began to
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: assess it, I started thinking about of how many people's
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: lives are running a parallel course to mine. I mean
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: almost everybody. It really is almost the case for everybody.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: If you are a person that's seeking happiness or success,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: then you can relate to what I'm about to say
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: to you, because all of us, all of you, myself included,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: have faced moments where it just didn't go the way
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: we planned. It just didn't go the way we thought,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: and it showed didn't go the way we had hoped,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: but it went anyway. And it happened to me last year.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: A couple of things happened that I well, I had
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: been forewarned of it, but I just I didn't know
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: it really and then it happened. But like I've always
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: said to you, all life is tempercent. What happens to
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: you is ninety percent what you do about it. So
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: as I had these doors closed in my face and
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I began to pray about it and talk to God
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: about it, I also found myself being privy to what
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: the haters were saying, and what the Internet was saying,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: and what so called friends of mine would go, Man,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you all right, man, your show gone. You all right?
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: You're gonna be okay, man, they say, they took that
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: in a little big shots. They say, man, it's over. Man,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: you man, you man, You're gonna be all right through
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: all this. Here here, that's what I realized, and I
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: want to share with you. And you can run your life,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: and I'm sure you can relate to what I'm saying.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Those people who are writing me off, those people who
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: have written you off, those people who say you're finished,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: those people who think there's no way you can rise
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: from this one, they got to know this, that this
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: that we are living is a movie. And the thing
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: about a movie, it has a beginning, it has a middle,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: and it has an end. But this movie called life
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: that we are in, the only end to this movie
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: is when our life is over. Untill our life is over,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: the movie is constantly being constructed. Now here's the beautiful
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: thing about this movie. We end. This movie has only
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: one writer. The script writer to this movie is God.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: He is the one who controls the script to your life.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: But here is the catch to it. You are the director. See,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the director makes choices in a movie. The director decides
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: what's the move, how, what's the tone, what's the flavor?
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: How we're doing this, what's our motivation? When we're talking
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to the actors, we give them the motivation for Well,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: if you got a director that wants to give you
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the positive information, which you are, the director of the movie,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: what the script says, the pitfalls, the trials and the
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: tribulations in the movie. What the script says. It's okay,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: it's just the ten percent that's happening to you. It's
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you got to do the ninety percent. You got to
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: keep doing the movie. Because God is the architect and
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: the author of this movie. Nobody else. The haters are
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: merely movie critics. All their job is to do is
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: one thing, find something to criticize about the movie. They
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: don't even mention the good part to the movie. They
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: ain't there for you when you win in in the movie.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: They're not there for you when things go well in
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: your movie. They are there for one reason only to criticize.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: They are the movie critics. Why how else would they
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: have a position if they wasn't the critic, what would
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: they do? The critics job is to criticize, find something wrong.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: They're not the movie helpers. They're not the movie or
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: goal getters. They the movie critics. That's all the hater
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: is and they don't even write the good stuff. You
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: got to keep doing the movie. My heavenly Father, your
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: God is the writer of this movie. And in this
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: movie there gonna be some evan flows. You gotta beginning,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you gotta middle. All you got to do is keep
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: doing the movie. You're the director. You have the choices.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: When you blow a scene, all you got to do
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: is get with the writer, come up with the next script,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: rewrite the next scene. You can actually pray to the creator,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: who is the architect and the writer of this movie
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: just called your life. You can either pray and get direction.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: You can pray and get consultation. You can pray against guidance,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: and you know how to direct the scene for the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: next one. Even if you blow a scene in a
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: over all you got to do is keep watching the movie.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Keep in mind, now, movie critics only have one job,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: that is to criticize. But what they got to do,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: and what they're gonna end up doing, is what everybody
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: else is gonna be doing. Y'all. They're gonna keep watching
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the movie. You're gonna show up somewhere else in another scene.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: And what they're gonna say then all they get church
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Mouse quiet. Then don't they the critics of your movie,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: get real quiet when you shining, when God raise you
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: up and show you out again, Why the critics at then?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I ain't a Oh Lord, they church mouse quiet, Den.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: You got to keep watching the movie because the movie
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: ain't over. Man. The writer of this movie is your
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: heavenly father and you are the director. Don't where about
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: them critics. Man, keep watching the movie. You might mess
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: around in the next scene. You're looking real good. I
