Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What intelligence do you have that Iran is building a
- 0:02Speaker 1: nuclear weapon? Your intelligence community has said they have no
- 0:05Speaker 1: evidence that they are at this point.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, then my intelligence community is wrong. But with the
- 0:10Speaker 2: intelligence community said.
- 0:11Speaker 1: That, you're a director of National Intelligence, Tolzi Gabbert.
- 0:14Speaker 2: She's wrong.
- 0:15Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Good Saturday morning to you.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are some of the
- 0:23Speaker 1: stories that you may have missed that we talked about
- 0:26Speaker 1: this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
- 0:29Speaker 1: Donald Trump is coming out talking about how close to
- 0:32Speaker 1: an ally israel Is and standing side by side with Bibi.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You'll hear from bib as well and Donald Trump. Also
- 0:40Speaker 1: Donald Trump making it clear what his intentions are with
- 0:43Speaker 1: Iran and calling out the Supreme Leader as well.
- 0:47Speaker 2: We're going to break all of that down for you.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And finally, the former leadership of Iran's son telling the
- 0:53Speaker 1: people in Iran it is time for you to rise
- 0:56Speaker 1: up and topple the current regime. Is there real that
- 1:00Speaker 1: Iran's leadership could collapse? Will explain that for you as well.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Donald Trump speaking out very clearly that he is going
- 1:12Speaker 1: to allow Israel to do what it needs to do
- 1:14Speaker 1: to protect and defend itself. In fact, the Israeli ambassador
- 1:18Speaker 1: the UN had this to say about the difference between
- 1:21Speaker 1: what Israel is doing to Iran and what Iran is
- 1:24Speaker 1: doing to the Israeli people.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Are you confident though, that you're doing enough to make
- 1:29Speaker 4: sure that Iran is isolated, especially with the rest of
- 1:32Speaker 4: the Middle East, that Iran is here and they're here alone. Well,
- 1:36Speaker 4: I speak with many friends from the Goldfveria. They will
- 1:38Speaker 4: not say it publicly, but they are very happy to
- 1:41Speaker 4: see what we are doing now. They feel safe when
- 1:43Speaker 4: they see our aircraft flying over Tehran and targeting those
- 1:47Speaker 4: the military basis. But what happened yesterday, we are targeting
- 1:51Speaker 4: military basis, infrastructural buddistech missiles and nuclear reactors, and they
- 1:56Speaker 4: are targeting our cities, our neighborhoods. Unfortunately, last night without
- 2:00Speaker 4: a very difficult night, then people died because of those attacks.
- 2:04Speaker 4: And also tonight is going to be a hot nighting
- 2:07Speaker 4: as well.
- 2:07Speaker 1: He is absolutely right that there is a huge difference
- 2:10Speaker 1: between the two scenarios, and of course the media doing
- 2:13Speaker 1: everything they can to be apologists for Tehran. One of
- 2:17Speaker 1: the questions the president was asked on the way to
- 2:19Speaker 1: the G seven summit was this, and it's very clear
- 2:23Speaker 1: the media wants Donald Trump to tell Israel to stop
- 2:27Speaker 1: doing what they're doing. Asked, have you asked Israel to
- 2:32Speaker 1: pause their air strikes? If for a long Well, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't want to say as well, I don't want to
- 2:37Speaker 1: say that. After the question for the reporter, pretty clear,
- 2:41Speaker 1: mister President, have you asked Israel to pause their airstrikes
- 2:45Speaker 1: into Iran? The President not done there in his comments,
- 2:49Speaker 1: also being asked about the Israel Iran conflict and how
- 2:54Speaker 1: he would be involved almost same day, how did you
- 2:58Speaker 1: look you lot?
- 2:59Speaker 4: Well, we get along very well, and I will tell
- 3:02Speaker 4: you that I think I have great respect for each other.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Can give it?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Then you give it a new dam?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Well ahead, Well let's couple him.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It's a president.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Can you give it?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Dets of what you're doing is dec to the estimation
- 3:16Speaker 1: street between a On and Israel.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well, I hope there's going to be a deal. I
- 3:20Speaker 2: think it's time for a deal, and we'll see what happens.
- 3:23Speaker 4: But sometimes they have to fight it out.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But we're going to see what happens. I think there's
- 3:28Speaker 2: a good chance he'll.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Be a deal. Now, we all know that President Trump
- 3:31Speaker 1: is the master of the r of the deal, and
- 3:33Speaker 1: there's a very good chance at some point he could
- 3:35Speaker 1: step in and help calm things down. But there's also
- 3:38Speaker 1: the important fact that the President clearly stands with Israel.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And yes, the media was even dumb enough to ask
- 3:45Speaker 1: him that question, and the President had a very simple response.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It doesn't defends love you deal will be you have
- 3:53Speaker 2: to set the support is real, and we do thank
- 3:57Speaker 2: you very much. We do thank you very much.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yet again the President making it clear he stands side
- 4:04Speaker 1: by side with Israel, the people, and the leadership. Next story,
- 4:09Speaker 1: number two, there is a real chance now that the
- 4:12Speaker 1: United States of America may join Israel in the war
- 4:16Speaker 1: against Iran. Now, let me explain why this could take
- 4:20Speaker 1: place so you and also understand what war means in
- 4:25Speaker 1: twenty twenty five.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Number one, there is no.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Chance that Donald Trump is going to put troops on
- 4:31Speaker 1: the ground. There will be no boots on the ground.
- 4:33Speaker 1: That is not what this means. That's number one. Number two,
- 4:37Speaker 1: This is not an invasion of Iraq or Afghanistan, which
- 4:40Speaker 1: there have been many that have been lying about that
- 4:42Speaker 1: over the last several hours, so I want to clear
- 4:44Speaker 1: that up. In fact, I've talked to several of my
- 4:47Speaker 1: good friends that work in the administration and they're saying
- 4:49Speaker 1: that is not even a remote possibility. What Donald Trump
- 4:54Speaker 1: is saying to Iran is simple, surrender.
- 4:57Speaker 2: That's it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Surrender and do the deal on your nuclear program or
- 5:02Speaker 1: prepare for your nuclear program.
- 5:04Speaker 2: To be annihilated. That is what he is saying.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And he's not mincing words on this either, because as
- 5:10Speaker 1: Donald Trump has said, look, we can take total control
- 5:13Speaker 1: of Iranian airspace as Israel is done, and we also
- 5:16Speaker 1: know where the Aotota is hiding.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Now we're not going to kill him right now.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But he's telling you, Ittola, like you want to die, fine,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Like we can make that happen.
- 5:24Speaker 2: We know where you are and we can kill you.
- 5:26Speaker 1: We would rather not do that, but if you want
- 5:28Speaker 1: to stand in power, then you better do the damn deal.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And so what would this look like is I think
- 5:33Speaker 1: a better way of putting it. If we did get involved,
- 5:37Speaker 1: it would actually be very very simple. We would use
- 5:40Speaker 1: the technology that I think we're the only country that
- 5:44Speaker 1: has it to go after this nuclear site that is
- 5:46Speaker 1: very deep underground in Iran. Israel does not have the
- 5:50Speaker 1: technology to hit that deep. That's part of what you
- 5:53Speaker 1: need to understand. So again I go back to the
- 5:55Speaker 1: basic thing. Is this something that America needs?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Do? Yes? I believe that it is. I've really do.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I believe this isn't our best interest for us to
- 6:03Speaker 1: make sure that there is an Iran that uh is
- 6:07Speaker 1: not nuclear right. And Donald Trump's also been clear about
- 6:10Speaker 1: this for quite some time and finked in fact, he's
- 6:13Speaker 1: he has been so clear on this since the day
- 6:16Speaker 1: came down the elevator ten years and one day ago
- 6:19Speaker 1: or ten years and two days ago, where he said
- 6:21Speaker 1: to the world that there's no circumstance where ran can
- 6:25Speaker 1: get a nuclear weapon. There's no circumstance where Ran can
- 6:28Speaker 1: get a nuclear weapon. That is significant. And the President
- 6:32Speaker 1: is not bluffing on this, okay, Like the President has
- 6:36Speaker 1: made it very clear that you can't trust them. Now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: why can't you trust them? Because they're a murders regime,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Like that's what they are, and they chant death to
- 6:44Speaker 1: America and they chant death to Israel. So when that's
- 6:48Speaker 1: what they do, and that is what they say. Then
- 6:51Speaker 1: I think you just say, Okay, I actually believe you.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I believe you.
- 6:54Speaker 1: When you tell me that you want to kill innocent men, women,
- 6:58Speaker 1: children that are Americans and you and annihilate the Jews.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And if you have a nuclear weapon, you will either
- 7:03Speaker 1: do it or you'll give it to one of your
- 7:04Speaker 1: terrorist proxy groups that you support, and they will do it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: There's also a second part of what's happening right now
- 7:10Speaker 1: that I think people need to understand as well, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: that second part is this the President is also I
- 7:16Speaker 1: think inspiring the people of Iran and especially specifically in Tehran,
- 7:21Speaker 1: to understand that, hey, your government may not be as
- 7:24Speaker 1: powerful as they actually have been able to make you believe.
- 7:28Speaker 1: In fact, they're incredibly vulnerable. Look at the traffic jams
- 7:32Speaker 1: and the people leaving Tehran as the President said, leave, evacuate.
- 7:37Speaker 1: They weren't listening to the leadership in Iran like that.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's something they were not doing. They were listening to
- 7:43Speaker 1: the American president of the United States of America, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: they were leaving because the President said to evacuate Tehran.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And when he did that, I think that also said
- 7:51Speaker 1: a very clear message, like, Hey, your guys that claim
- 7:54Speaker 1: that they're in charge of your country, that are holding
- 7:56Speaker 1: you back and oppressing you, and in our brutal dictators
- 8:00Speaker 1: of a murder's regime, like they may be a lot
- 8:02Speaker 1: more vulnerable than you actually understand. Also, having air superiority
- 8:07Speaker 1: is part three of this, the fact that Iran was
- 8:12Speaker 1: able to be decimated when it comes to their air
- 8:15Speaker 1: power virtually instantly by Israel, and now Israel can do
- 8:20Speaker 1: whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it,
- 8:22Speaker 1: however they want to do it.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Over the skies of Israel, of Iran.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It is also incredibly telling, like it is unbelievable now
- 8:31Speaker 1: what we're looking at, and I mean this like it
- 8:35Speaker 1: is just amazing to me that we have seen how
- 8:39Speaker 1: quickly Iran has been just decimated and now you can
- 8:43Speaker 1: do whatever you want to do. Now you put all
- 8:45Speaker 1: this together in a perfect storm where we are now.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And this is also I think a foreign policy issuer.
- 8:52Speaker 1: We're sitting the presence of the message of the world,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Like if I tell you, whether it's tariffs or a
- 8:56Speaker 1: nuclear program, that this is the deal, and you don't
- 8:59Speaker 1: believe me, how fast you find out Like this goes
- 9:02Speaker 1: back to that FAFO mentality of this of this administration,
- 9:06Speaker 1: like Watch and find out. You have the President returning
- 9:09Speaker 1: to Washington after cutting the G seven Canada trip short.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You have the President saying, everybody get together in the
- 9:15Speaker 1: situation room. You have the president telling that clearly the
- 9:17Speaker 1: vice president to go out and say, hey.
- 9:18Speaker 2: We may enter this war.
- 9:20Speaker 1: All of these different scenarios and just how quickly the
- 9:24Speaker 1: President is moving I think is just on no one
- 9:29Speaker 1: I think believe the President would move this quick. And
- 9:31Speaker 1: I think he's shown people that like, hey, not only
- 9:33Speaker 1: are we going to move this quick, but you guys
- 9:35Speaker 1: better get the hell out of the way. Like when
- 9:37Speaker 1: I tell you something, if it's sixty days, and that
- 9:39Speaker 1: was a nice timeline that I gave you, right, it was,
- 9:41Speaker 1: it really was. It was a nice timeline. And the
- 9:43Speaker 1: sixty day timeline that I gave you, you should have
- 9:45Speaker 1: paid attention and you should have listened. And if you
- 9:47Speaker 1: would have listened, then you wouldn't be in the scenario.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And so if you're the iatota right now, you may
- 9:52Speaker 1: lose everything. I think that's also part of what the
- 9:55Speaker 1: President is saying. You want to lose everything, You want
- 9:58Speaker 1: to lose all your power and your life because we
- 10:00Speaker 1: know where you are and I could kill you right
- 10:03Speaker 1: now if I want to. The Israelis could kill you
- 10:06Speaker 1: right now if they want to. There's no reason for
- 10:08Speaker 1: you trying to run high because we're going to watch you.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We know where you are, we know where you're going,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and if you think for a moment that we can't
- 10:14Speaker 1: kill you, then you're an idiot. This is all part
- 10:17Speaker 1: of the presence piece, three strengths, showing you here's your deadline, and.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I'm not screwing around now.
- 10:23Speaker 1: This deadline of sixty days was I also think a
- 10:26Speaker 1: very nice one.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I really do.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I think it was a very nice deadline. It was
- 10:29Speaker 1: one that gave them not thirty days, but sixty days
- 10:31Speaker 1: to do this. I think that's a positive. Like that
- 10:34Speaker 1: was showing that he was really willing to come together
- 10:36Speaker 1: and he was really willing to have a conversation. Unfortunately,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Iran and their you know, murderous regime, for some reason,
- 10:45Speaker 1: thought they were much more powerful they actually were. Well,
- 10:47Speaker 1: all that's been shot to hell now, like it's all
- 10:49Speaker 1: just been shot to hell, and so we're at a
- 10:52Speaker 1: point now where there are three different scenarios.
- 10:55Speaker 2: In my mind that could happen okay.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Number one, we could have total regime change in Iran
- 10:59Speaker 1: and that could happen and actually quickly if the people
- 11:01Speaker 1: rise up. Number two, we could actually take out the
- 11:03Speaker 1: leader if we need to, or Israel could take out
- 11:07Speaker 1: the leader if he needs to, and that could be
- 11:09Speaker 1: significant as well. Or three they come to the deal
- 11:12Speaker 1: and they surrender and then everything just calms down very quickly.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Those are three very real and very different scenarios.
- 11:20Speaker 2: And here is story number three.
- 11:22Speaker 1: The exiled Crown Prince is now saying the Islamic Republic
- 11:27Speaker 1: is collapsing as we speak in Iran. The exiled Crown
- 11:31Speaker 1: Prince of Iran and son of the last Persian Shah
- 11:34Speaker 1: urged Iranians on Tuesday to prepare for the impeding fall
- 11:38Speaker 1: of the Supreme Leader and the Islamic Republic as the
- 11:42Speaker 1: country struggles to fight off attacks from Israel, saying this,
- 11:46Speaker 1: the Islamic Republic has reached its end and is in
- 11:48Speaker 1: the process of collapsing. The Supreme Leader is like a
- 11:52Speaker 1: frightened rat. He has gone into hiding underground and has
- 11:55Speaker 1: lost control of the situation. What has begun is irreversible,
- 12:00Speaker 1: is bright, and together we will pass through this sharp turn.
- 12:03Speaker 2: In history.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Now, the military conflict between Iran and Israel stretched into
- 12:07Speaker 1: its sixth day with little signs of slowing down as
- 12:10Speaker 1: Israel is continuing to hammer Tehran's nuclear pursuits. Now, the
- 12:15Speaker 1: former shaw of Iran sun and he knows a lot
- 12:18Speaker 1: about when your time's up. They ruled Iran from nineteen
- 12:21Speaker 1: twenty five to nineteen seventy nine. That's when it was
- 12:24Speaker 1: overthrown in the Islamic Revolution. That is when the around
- 12:27Speaker 1: hostage crisis also happened, when they took American hostages at
- 12:31Speaker 1: our embassy. And he went on to social media in
- 12:34Speaker 1: English and Farsi and directed the messages to his fellow
- 12:38Speaker 1: countrymen and encouraged a full out uprising, saying this now
- 12:42Speaker 1: is the time to rise, the time to reclaim Iran.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Let us all come forward and bring about the end
- 12:48Speaker 1: of this regime. He also advised that there is a
- 12:51Speaker 1: plan to establish a democratic government in Iran within one
- 12:54Speaker 1: hundred days of the collapse of the Islamic Republic. He
- 12:57Speaker 1: also urged military, law enforcement, security forces, and state employees
- 13:02Speaker 1: to join the effort to topple the government under the
- 13:06Speaker 1: leadership that is currently there in Iran, saying this do
- 13:09Speaker 1: not stand against the Iranian people for the sake of
- 13:12Speaker 1: a regime whose fall has begun and is inevitable. Do
- 13:16Speaker 1: not sacrifice yourselves for a decaying regime. By standing with
- 13:20Speaker 1: the people, you can save your lives, play an historic
- 13:24Speaker 1: role in the transformation of the Islamic Republic, and take
- 13:27Speaker 1: part in building the future of Iran. Now you hear this,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and is it real? There's a chance that all of
- 13:33Speaker 1: it could come cut tumbling down around the leadership in Iran. Yes,
- 13:37Speaker 1: Why because we know that the leader of Iran is
- 13:40Speaker 1: in hiding. We also know that millions of people in
- 13:44Speaker 1: Iran fled Tehran when Donald Trump said you need to leave.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Now another example of just how fragile the current regime
- 13:53Speaker 1: may be. And finally, a lot of the people that
- 13:55Speaker 1: were afraid of the regime may realize they're not as
- 13:58Speaker 1: powerful as they thought, especially knowing the air superiority was
- 14:02Speaker 1: toppled in a matter of hours by Israel, and Israel
- 14:07Speaker 1: can do basically whatever they want to do from the
- 14:09Speaker 1: skies right now. So, yes, there's a lot of reasons
- 14:13Speaker 1: to give diplomacy and other things like this a few
- 14:17Speaker 1: more days before the present makes a decision, and that
- 14:20Speaker 1: clearly is good for all Americans and also the Middle East.
