- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I was. I had my head down then it was
- 2:17Speaker 1: thinking of what I wanted to say this morning. But
- 2:20Speaker 1: it kind of uh, it's kind of be something I've
- 2:24Speaker 1: lived for a long time, and uh, you know, for
- 2:29Speaker 1: a long time. You know, I had a lot of
- 2:30Speaker 1: faith in people. You know. It's strange too, because you know,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know, my mother was a Sunday school teacher, so
- 2:38Speaker 1: of course I grew up around it, knowing the scriptures
- 2:42Speaker 1: and things like that. Not not a lot of them,
- 2:45Speaker 1: but you know, the ones I retained. But having her
- 2:49Speaker 1: as a mother was it was a huge help and
- 2:51Speaker 1: understand about faith. But even with that, as I grew up,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I began to put a lot of faith in people
- 2:59Speaker 1: and and um, you know, I figured, you know, just
- 3:02Speaker 1: like everybody else, you know, man if I could just
- 3:04Speaker 1: meet this person, or if I could just sit down
- 3:07Speaker 1: with that person, or man if I could just get
- 3:10Speaker 1: this person to hear my ideal, or man if just
- 3:14Speaker 1: if this person could hear my track, or man if
- 3:17Speaker 1: I could just get this in the hands or somebody
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the know. I was, like everybody else, I thought
- 3:23Speaker 1: that way. You know, I actually thought that if I
- 3:26Speaker 1: could get in a certain situation with a certain person,
- 3:29Speaker 1: that if a certain person were to meet me, that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:41Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:44Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:48Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: person for me, And you know, you just lay claim
- 3:53Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:56Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person
- 3:59Speaker 1: for me, This is the person that I want to
- 4:01Speaker 1: spend the rest of my life with. You know, sometimes
- 4:04Speaker 1: you know, we just lay claim and stuff, and it's
- 4:06Speaker 1: not always what's in our best interests, or it's not
- 4:08Speaker 1: always a fact. It's just what we decided we wanted.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And I was guilty of that, just like anybody else.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And I spent a lot of years in my life
- 4:18Speaker 1: putting faith in people. Man, if I could tell you
- 4:21Speaker 1: anything this morning, it's to stop putting your faith in
- 4:25Speaker 1: people and put your faith in God where it counts
- 4:28Speaker 1: the most. I mean, you can get something out of
- 4:30Speaker 1: this one. See, here's a deal about the relationship with God.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's it's the same all the time. He never changes.
- 4:38Speaker 1: His word is one absolute. His word doesn't have loopholes
- 4:43Speaker 1: in it, none of that. It's this is what it is.
- 4:46Speaker 1: He's very clear. Now, you can deviate off your end
- 4:50Speaker 1: at a bargain, but it don't stop what he says
- 4:54Speaker 1: from being true. But if he asked you to do something,
- 4:57Speaker 1: If if God asks you to to be a certain ad,
- 5:00Speaker 1: to do a little something a certain way, and you
- 5:02Speaker 1: don't do it that way, then you know you could
- 5:05Speaker 1: still possibly get by for a while. But don't you
- 5:09Speaker 1: understand that his end of the deal stays the same.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And as long as you're not doing it the way
- 5:14Speaker 1: you're supposed to, the results are not going to be
- 5:17Speaker 1: what you wanted to be. And I did this for
- 5:19Speaker 1: years and years and years, and I counted on people,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and uh, you know, I got myself in a lot
- 5:25Speaker 1: of situations. And I got out one a dire situation
- 5:29Speaker 1: that I've been in for a number of years. But
- 5:32Speaker 1: he had protected me from years prior to that. I
- 5:34Speaker 1: didn't even know what was going on. And then he
- 5:37Speaker 1: made it away and made me aware of the problem.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And then, man, Lord have mercy, I was in a
- 5:42Speaker 1: dismal situation. And then at the end of the year,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I was free, free from it all. But it was
- 5:49Speaker 1: a decision that I had made that led up to that,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and in and in going through that process, I had
- 5:55Speaker 1: to learn something. Man. I learned a lot about people. See,
- 6:00Speaker 1: if you want to learn about your friends, if you
- 6:02Speaker 1: want to learn about your people people around you, Get
- 6:06Speaker 1: yourself in some trouble, get yourself in a situation. Oh man,
- 6:11Speaker 1: you start looking around, man to feel get real clear.
- 6:14Speaker 1: When you're in trouble. The field clear is out when
- 6:18Speaker 1: you're in doubt, when you don't know what to do
- 6:20Speaker 1: when you need help. It gets real clear on the
- 6:23Speaker 1: play and field, then don't it. But when things is
- 6:25Speaker 1: going right, it's time for a party. Were throwing the celebration.
- 6:29Speaker 1: We we we were gonna We're gonna do one down here.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Oh man, there's plenty of people on the field. But
- 6:34Speaker 1: but but but get yourself in a situation. You find
- 6:37Speaker 1: out rather quickly that old no, old no, everybody ain't here.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And that's when I started learning and I and I'm
- 6:45Speaker 1: telling you, I had to start learning this for real
- 6:48Speaker 1: until I finally got it to stop putting my faith
- 6:51Speaker 1: in people and put all of mine and God where
- 6:54Speaker 1: it counts the most. Now is that to say that
- 6:56Speaker 1: there are people that you can't trust. No, that's not
- 6:59Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:04Speaker 1: it all righting on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all righting on what she say. No, no, uh uh no,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my
- 7:18Speaker 1: on this situation because I hear you saying it. But
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this faith of mine and instead of
- 7:24Speaker 1: putting it in people, I'm gonna put it in God
- 7:26Speaker 1: where it counts the most, because his word is absolute.
- 7:30Speaker 1: What he says he's gonna do, he gonna do what
- 7:32Speaker 1: he says. He's not gonna tolerate. He's not gonna tolerate. Now,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you can make it, you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but he's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:40Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm i'm
- 7:42Speaker 1: I'm wondering how many people out there find themselves in
- 7:46Speaker 1: a situation like me, or maybe you've gotten yourself in
- 7:49Speaker 1: a situation because you put your faith in some people
- 7:51Speaker 1: and now you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let me ask you whetting people at see every person
- 7:59Speaker 1: that I had put my faith in when I got
- 8:02Speaker 1: in trouble, when I got down, I couldn't find them
- 8:04Speaker 1: people nowhere, nowhere, nowhere. I didn't see a lifeline. I
- 8:09Speaker 1: didn't say, hey man, we're coming to get you. I
- 8:11Speaker 1: didn't see none of that, No, sir, No sir. The
- 8:15Speaker 1: only one that I found when I was in my
- 8:19Speaker 1: deepest trouble, when me and my wife were in our
- 8:22Speaker 1: darkest situation, was God is the only one was the
- 8:27Speaker 1: only one who was just right there, right there, all
- 8:31Speaker 1: the way through. I mean, comforting us, consoling us, putting us,
- 8:38Speaker 1: putting his arms around us, tucking us under his wings,
- 8:41Speaker 1: all of that all it was just him. It was
- 8:44Speaker 1: just him. And I'm asking any of you to just
- 8:47Speaker 1: do the same. If you look around at the people
- 8:50Speaker 1: that you put your faith in, and you got in
- 8:52Speaker 1: a situation because you had some faith in some people
- 8:55Speaker 1: when you got in that situation, where were those people?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Where were they? Nowhere to be found? I have not.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I've yet to find those people when I get in trouble.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And so I'm asking you why would you put your
- 9:10Speaker 1: faith there when instead you can put your faith in
- 9:13Speaker 1: God where it counts the most, and He's always there. Now,
- 9:17Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. Because you have this
- 9:21Speaker 1: relationship with God, it does not mean, it does not
- 9:25Speaker 1: mean now that it won't get it won't still be
- 9:28Speaker 1: a situation, you understand. But what He will do is
- 9:33Speaker 1: protect you during that period. He'll cover you during that
- 9:38Speaker 1: period that it is a situation. He will give you
- 9:41Speaker 1: the strength to overcome the situation when it turns into
- 9:45Speaker 1: a situation. Then when he when he cracks it open,
- 9:48Speaker 1: for you and the sun is bright and shining. What
- 9:51Speaker 1: he don't want you to do is when he gets
- 9:52Speaker 1: sunny again, to forget about him, who was there when
- 9:56Speaker 1: it was dark for you. See, I used to do
- 9:59Speaker 1: that too, you know I was Oh, man, I did it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I did it. But I'm
- 10:04Speaker 1: telling you man, when I learned a very serious lesson
- 10:09Speaker 1: and I watched some people I thought were friends of
- 10:12Speaker 1: mine just sort of casually remove themselves from the situation.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Then I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around. We
- 10:21Speaker 1: said okay, it's just me, you and God, and we
- 10:24Speaker 1: started conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us,
- 10:30Speaker 1: we remember God. We stayed prayerful, We keep talking to him.
- 10:34Speaker 1: We thank him for the sunshine, We thank him for
- 10:36Speaker 1: the dark days that he allowed us to do, who
- 10:39Speaker 1: allowed us to survive it and turn it into sunny days.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And we talked to him constantly to protect us of
- 10:45Speaker 1: our future enemies. And that's what the deal is. So
- 10:48Speaker 1: if I was everybody, I would stop putting your faith
- 10:51Speaker 1: in people and put your trust in God where it
- 10:53Speaker 1: really does count the most, It really really does. We
- 11:01Speaker 1: are here live on the radio Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 12:13Speaker 1: is going on day. Let me see. Yeah, this is
- 12:17Speaker 1: two weeks of not shaving. I haven't shaved in two weeks.
- 12:21Speaker 1: James Harden comes to mind. What you know I know? Okay, yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: Jay is off today. Okay, yeah he has all. Don't
- 12:34Speaker 1: say it. They did it to me, you know, well,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I just think it's
- 12:44Speaker 1: so good. They did it to me when I was here,
- 12:52Speaker 1: got here when I'm off. Sometimes y'all talk about me.
- 12:55Speaker 1: We don't know what's wrong with you. Mess your head
- 13:03Speaker 1: even if even if something wrong with me, ain't nothing
- 13:05Speaker 1: wrong with here, he complained problems take off to make
- 13:12Speaker 1: another twenty anyway, Yeah, good morning, morning morning. So let's
- 13:22Speaker 1: let's inspire people today on thirty something funny. How about this?
- 13:27Speaker 1: You can ask me anything that might get you to
- 13:32Speaker 1: the next level. You can ask me any question about
- 13:36Speaker 1: getting to the next level. It can be financial, it
- 13:39Speaker 1: can be a philosophical anything getting to the next level.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I will spend the next eight minute break sharing anything
- 13:48Speaker 1: you wanna know. Got it. It can be whimsical. It
- 13:52Speaker 1: could be sincere, I don't care ask me anything and
- 13:57Speaker 1: I we don't answer the question. Put his whimsicer? What
- 14:01Speaker 1: is that? Would you just did it? Know what? When
- 14:05Speaker 1: it's not what you just it's just like funny off
- 14:08Speaker 1: the cup, different from the just from the dignity you
- 14:16Speaker 1: gotta he's gotta be able to say it first. I
- 14:18Speaker 1: said it whimsicer. That sounds a lot like popsicle. Alright,
- 14:31Speaker 1: so a different sort of version for of ask Steve. Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: so just come back inspiration right after this. Whatever you
- 14:39Speaker 1: want to know, let's get started. You're listening, all right,
- 14:44Speaker 1: we're back. Let's go. Come on, y'all. I want to inspire,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I want to help. I want to uplift. I want
- 14:48Speaker 1: to share. It's not so much teaching as it is
- 14:52Speaker 1: for me with just share it. Your are the gift
- 14:54Speaker 1: that just keeps on giving, trying to be. I want
- 14:56Speaker 1: to ask a question. Go ahead, when you get to
- 14:59Speaker 1: a certain dollar amount, is there a dollar that you
- 15:05Speaker 1: don't lose anymore? Let's say you got a half a
- 15:07Speaker 1: million dollars. Do you never go below something? Do you
- 15:12Speaker 1: never go do you pick up? Do you pick a
- 15:13Speaker 1: number and say, okay, I can never be below three hundred? Well,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I mean you should try to do that. You should
- 15:21Speaker 1: always have breakpoint, a breakpoint. It's like your weight. It's
- 15:27Speaker 1: like I can only get so big, and then I
- 15:29Speaker 1: got to going back to the gym. Right now, I'm
- 15:31Speaker 1: on the topped out. Okay, I just every day. So
- 15:38Speaker 1: now it's like that with your finances. You want to
- 15:41Speaker 1: keep yourself because you gotta understand something. If God blesses
- 15:44Speaker 1: you to get to a certain point, why would you
- 15:46Speaker 1: go back? Why would you go back, you know, and
- 15:50Speaker 1: you gotta understand you go, Okay, well I've been there,
- 15:52Speaker 1: done that. I know what it's like to live mouth
- 15:55Speaker 1: to mouth, check to check and not saying it takes
- 15:57Speaker 1: a long time to stop living check to check. I
- 15:59Speaker 1: want you to understand it, so don't feel bad if
- 16:01Speaker 1: you do, because it takes a lot. Even after you
- 16:03Speaker 1: make a lot of money, you still be living check
- 16:06Speaker 1: to check a lot of times because you're still you're
- 16:08Speaker 1: trying to get a lot of things, acquire a lot
- 16:10Speaker 1: of things. It's hard, but you want to try to
- 16:13Speaker 1: get Once you cross a certain threshold, you want to
- 16:16Speaker 1: try to stay on that side of it. Nevin not
- 16:18Speaker 1: in there. You may dip it low, but you want
- 16:20Speaker 1: to try to get back, so fight as hard as
- 16:22Speaker 1: you can. That's a good question. Okay, here's my question, Um,
- 16:27Speaker 1: how much and what should you invest in? What's a
- 16:30Speaker 1: good investment right now? Well, land is always landing property,
- 16:37Speaker 1: It's always a good investment because it's always an appreciable asset.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Cars are not an appreciable asset. Don't think you've invested
- 16:46Speaker 1: in there's nothing. Land and property always appreciates because somebody
- 16:54Speaker 1: is gonna always want that land or somebody will always
- 16:57Speaker 1: need a house. Now, does that include like a things
- 17:00Speaker 1: like just yes, condos, apartments, a home, a piece of land.
- 17:07Speaker 1: If you buy a piece of land with the intent
- 17:09Speaker 1: to build on it one day, just having that land,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I promise you in a couple of years that land
- 17:14Speaker 1: gonna be worth more than you pay for and somebody
- 17:16Speaker 1: will be willing to give you more. That is the guaranteed. Now,
- 17:24Speaker 1: there are some more things that you can invest in,
- 17:27Speaker 1: stocks and things, but that's always a little bit more risky, risky,
- 17:32Speaker 1: always a little bit more risky. But there are safe stocks,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you know. There are stocks that ain't going nowhere. You know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: that's expensive. Apple ain't going too many places. Facebook ain't
- 17:44Speaker 1: going Colas ain't really going nowhere. You know, general electric
- 17:49Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere. Certain things okay, yes, okay. See what's
- 17:57Speaker 1: your best advice, you know for keeping focused on important things?
- 18:03Speaker 1: You know, when distractions in our lives are are kind
- 18:07Speaker 1: of constant and kind of throws you off a little bit,
- 18:09Speaker 1: what's your best advice to keep us focused? Well? I
- 18:12Speaker 1: learned this from Eric Thomas, to be honest with He's
- 18:16Speaker 1: one of the greatest motivational speakers I've ever heard. Eric
- 18:19Speaker 1: Thomas is a guy that I listened to. You know,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I have some great speakers out there, but Eric Thomas
- 18:26Speaker 1: nails it for me because he talked like I talked.
- 18:30Speaker 1: You know, he mad most of them. He swept to
- 18:34Speaker 1: a shirt in a minute, won't he. I love the
- 18:36Speaker 1: intensity what she talks. When you have your visions and
- 18:41Speaker 1: you have your motivation, your dream board, the why, you
- 18:47Speaker 1: gotta write down the why, the why you want it
- 18:50Speaker 1: to happen. Because Eric Thomas said that the why eliminates
- 18:56Speaker 1: that I quit that I can't make it because the
- 18:58Speaker 1: how it coms to be why are you doing it?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Like I have to do this for my family? Well,
- 19:05Speaker 1: it's it's harder to quit when it's more than just
- 19:09Speaker 1: you on the line. You have to create a why.
- 19:14Speaker 1: These big dreams you have, they have to have a
- 19:17Speaker 1: why behind that will help you stay to it and
- 19:21Speaker 1: fight through the discouragement. Also, your dreams have to be
- 19:27Speaker 1: bigger than the consequences are the problems. You gotta want
- 19:34Speaker 1: something so big that no matter what it takes to
- 19:38Speaker 1: get there, or what it costs, or what the factor is,
- 19:43Speaker 1: this dream so big I got to go on to
- 19:46Speaker 1: go for it because Okay, Okay, cool. So I'm gonna
- 19:49Speaker 1: lose time with my friends, but I'm gonna be a millionaire. Okay, cool.
- 19:54Speaker 1: So I won't be able to go to happy hour
- 19:57Speaker 1: no more because I'm trying to on vacation of a
- 20:01Speaker 1: dream of a lifetime. Okay, cool, Yeah, you know what
- 20:04Speaker 1: I mean. Vacation for the dream has to be so
- 20:09Speaker 1: big that it outweighs the problems, all the consequences. Okay,
- 20:13Speaker 1: all right, that keeps you motivated like that. Here's one
- 20:18Speaker 1: more I want to ask you this, because you live this,
- 20:22Speaker 1: do you ever feel guilty or have you ever been
- 20:27Speaker 1: made to feel guilty because of your success? Because you're
- 20:30Speaker 1: so successful, lute one, you will go through that period
- 20:38Speaker 1: of feeling guilty about your success mainly because the people
- 20:43Speaker 1: closest to you are usually not experiencing your success, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: they make you feel obligated to them because of your success.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Because I knew you when I got You knew me when,
- 20:57Speaker 1: But do you know me now? And Duster, you knew
- 21:01Speaker 1: me when I got to do with where I am now?
- 21:04Speaker 1: And my obligation is not to you. My obligation is
- 21:07Speaker 1: to my wife and my children. It's really not to
- 21:10Speaker 1: my brothers. And sisters and my cousins and my homies
- 21:12Speaker 1: that I grew up with. It's really not. And then
- 21:16Speaker 1: what you try to do when you're successful, you want
- 21:18Speaker 1: to share your success and they know it, so they
- 21:21Speaker 1: call you it a man, I know you got it,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and so you go yeah, yeah, yeah, what you need.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That's where I am. I know because they all got you.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Oh man, I know you got it. And now here
- 21:33Speaker 1: you go being a good brother. You're going, yeah, man,
- 21:36Speaker 1: let me try to help you out. But that ain't
- 21:39Speaker 1: your job. That ain't your job. And if you get
- 21:42Speaker 1: into loaning money business, you're gonna lose a lot of
- 21:46Speaker 1: friends and you're gonna create a lot of drama in
- 21:49Speaker 1: your own life loaning money. So you don't loan money.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Do you get I'm gonna give it to you or
- 21:56Speaker 1: that's it. If y'all want to continue this conversation, we can, Okay,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I want you want to continue the conversation when we
- 22:03Speaker 1: come back most Steve Hart Mota Show. Right after that.
- 22:07Speaker 1: You're listening, stew All, Right, we're back. Wow, what an
- 22:12Speaker 1: interesting conversation. It's it's the Morning Show. We're asking Steve
- 22:16Speaker 1: questions because I think it's important for people to hear
- 22:20Speaker 1: directly from somebody who doesn't have an agenda with their life,
- 22:24Speaker 1: Like I don't want y'all do this because I get
- 22:26Speaker 1: a piece all this here. Genuinely want to share this
- 22:30Speaker 1: information because I know it's important to people. The average
- 22:32Speaker 1: person out there really does want to know how to
- 22:34Speaker 1: make it. And unless somebody who has made it gets
- 22:38Speaker 1: down off their horse to share the information, well you're
- 22:41Speaker 1: gonna get the information from it. And didn't have this.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I was just gonna say that we as a as
- 22:47Speaker 1: a race, we don't share this type of information. We're
- 22:50Speaker 1: starting to, maybe more now, but growing up, the only
- 22:53Speaker 1: thing we knew about money was money doesn't grow on trees?
- 22:56Speaker 1: Or do you think I'm made of money? Things like
- 22:59Speaker 1: that that are parents told us. So now we're getting
- 23:01Speaker 1: real information. Jay Z is doing it. In is he's
- 23:06Speaker 1: doing it. Let's go, Let's go back to where we
- 23:09Speaker 1: were for U. Tell us how we deal How do
- 23:14Speaker 1: you deal with the guilt that because I'm constantly I'm
- 23:18Speaker 1: I loan a lot of money. Let me ask you something,
- 23:22Speaker 1: Loaning money does it not create tension? Yes, Loaning money
- 23:29Speaker 1: creates more problems than it's solved, and it's creating issues
- 23:33Speaker 1: not only with the person that you loaned two, but
- 23:36Speaker 1: then in your own home, because now you have loaned
- 23:40Speaker 1: some money that belongs in your home, and now somebody
- 23:44Speaker 1: in your home may have to do without because we
- 23:47Speaker 1: didn't gave what we had over here to help someone.
- 23:50Speaker 1: And usually money you loan. What they don't understand about
- 23:53Speaker 1: people that's climbing up. Money they loan is money they need.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Think we all have no extra free money. And then
- 24:00Speaker 1: let me explain something to you about Let me explain
- 24:03Speaker 1: something to you about loaning you money or giving you money.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Whatever I give you money, I'm actually giving you that.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Plus if you ask me for a thousand dollars and
- 24:16Speaker 1: I give you a thousand dollars, what I'm actually giving
- 24:19Speaker 1: you is one thousand, four hundred dollars. Because Uncle Sam
- 24:23Speaker 1: is taxing me tax breathe, he don't give a damn
- 24:27Speaker 1: what you do with the money. So now I didn't
- 24:30Speaker 1: give you a thousand of my dollars. Plus I gotta
- 24:33Speaker 1: see in the government four hundred of that thousand I
- 24:37Speaker 1: sent you the whole partner. Oh so now I really
- 24:41Speaker 1: hate that simple So when you're gonna pay me back,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you really didn't jaim me now, well, in your case,
- 24:46Speaker 1: people don't think you need it. You know, Oh he'll
- 24:49Speaker 1: he'll be all right. That money money, he's got money.
- 24:52Speaker 1: He doesn't need that money. I'll get it. I'll get
- 24:54Speaker 1: it to him when I get While you are coming up,
- 24:58Speaker 1: people think that you have a reservoir of money. But
- 25:02Speaker 1: that reservoir of money you had to work for. The
- 25:05Speaker 1: only reason you have a reservoir a little bit of
- 25:07Speaker 1: extra money or more than them, is because you usually
- 25:10Speaker 1: work more than them. So now you are asking me
- 25:14Speaker 1: to take not only my money, but my time that
- 25:18Speaker 1: I've given to make this money and just let you
- 25:20Speaker 1: have that because you know I got it. Well, that's
- 25:23Speaker 1: foul and you should not suffer from guilt, because let
- 25:27Speaker 1: me explain something to you I've learned about guilt. Guilt
- 25:30Speaker 1: is the most useless human emotion that there is because
- 25:35Speaker 1: guilt serves nothing. Guilt is the most devoid, the worst
- 25:43Speaker 1: human emotion there is because it serves no purpose. What
- 25:46Speaker 1: what this guilt serves when you feel guilty? What? It
- 25:49Speaker 1: don't help you, It don't benefit you, It does nothing
- 25:51Speaker 1: for you to feel guilt. But people take advantage of
- 25:54Speaker 1: the guilt for their own self entitlement. And self selfish needs.
- 26:01Speaker 1: That's what they use. They use guilt for that. So
- 26:04Speaker 1: guilt serves no purpose. So stop feeling guilty because you're blessed.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Stop feeling guilty because God has given you grace. Stop
- 26:12Speaker 1: feeling guilty because you go to work and nobody gave
- 26:16Speaker 1: you nothing, nobody mails you free money. Stop feeling guilty. Yes,
- 26:22Speaker 1: that guilt when you talk about that guilt, because Tommy,
- 26:25Speaker 1: I think we've all kind of been in that boat.
- 26:27Speaker 1: When you're loaning money and and the whole guilt thing.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You don't want to be the bad guy or whatever.
- 26:31Speaker 1: It's different when you loan friends money, and then when
- 26:35Speaker 1: you're taking care of family. You understand what I'm saying.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I think there's a different level of guilt with that
- 26:40Speaker 1: when you gotta look out for mom and them and
- 26:42Speaker 1: Grandmama and them, and and it grows when you get
- 26:46Speaker 1: to a certain level. Do you understand what I'm saying? No,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I do, because when it gets to a certain level,
- 26:52Speaker 1: here's what you can do. You have to wait till
- 26:54Speaker 1: you get to a certain level. I got so sick
- 26:57Speaker 1: of my family, Nickel and Diamond, me the phone calls,
- 27:02Speaker 1: that having to duck them, the phone call to trying
- 27:04Speaker 1: to tell them no to making it happen. The constant
- 27:08Speaker 1: phone calls. Now, you gotta wait till you get to
- 27:10Speaker 1: a certain level. And I've talked to a lot of
- 27:12Speaker 1: people like this. I put all of them on salary. Okay,
- 27:17Speaker 1: that's all that, and then here's your monthly cipher and
- 27:21Speaker 1: you can make it whatever you want to make it.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Here's your five hundred a month. Here's your two fifty
- 27:26Speaker 1: for the month. You know, I'm off on another bracket
- 27:29Speaker 1: with mine. They're getting off the thousands. But here's your
- 27:33Speaker 1: money for the month. I love you, I am successful.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I know y'all older than me, y'all being struggled. This
- 27:40Speaker 1: all to help. Guess what it alleviates the phone calls.
- 27:45Speaker 1: It alleviates that you ain't nothing. You forgot about us.
- 27:49Speaker 1: But you gotta wait until you at a certain level.
- 27:51Speaker 1: But if you want to help your family out, your mama,
- 27:54Speaker 1: your sister, your brother is constantly nickel and diamond, you man,
- 27:57Speaker 1: let me get a hundred fifty. Here, let me hold
- 27:59Speaker 1: two fifty. Put them on salary to two d a month.
- 28:03Speaker 1: He go your two hundred. Guess what that that really does?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Slow down there, I need fox Hunter. Hold up, partner,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I sent you my Yeah she has because Steve, I mean,
- 28:18Speaker 1: while we're talking, there are people out there that do
- 28:21Speaker 1: need help. I mean, you know, legitimate help. There's some
- 28:24Speaker 1: people they do need help. I mean we all have
- 28:27Speaker 1: been there and thank god there was something. All yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 1: But I mean I'm just saying there are some people
- 28:34Speaker 1: you know that need need help. I mean, how do
- 28:37Speaker 1: you determine. I'm not saying you don't help. Nobody know
- 28:40Speaker 1: what I'm telling you right now, listen to me. Get
- 28:43Speaker 1: out of the loaning money business, all right? Got it now?
- 28:48Speaker 1: If you're not gonna give it to him, so you
- 28:49Speaker 1: ain't gotta worry about it no more. My philosophy is
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna give it to you, then I ain't
- 28:54Speaker 1: got it. Broka, I ain't got I don't have it,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I don't loan, I don't loan, don't don't come to me,
- 29:00Speaker 1: So just say no and don't feel guilty. I had
- 29:02Speaker 1: I had a wealthy friend who got in a real
- 29:05Speaker 1: jam and kind of got publicized with his business, and
- 29:09Speaker 1: he came to me for a loan. But he's and
- 29:13Speaker 1: he's been wealth and I knew he was gonna come back.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And I loaned him a healthy amount of money, substantial amount.
- 29:20Speaker 1: He came right back to me when he said he
- 29:22Speaker 1: was with the check. Okay, he had done things for
- 29:27Speaker 1: me in the past, not so much money, but phone
- 29:32Speaker 1: calls put me in touch with this guy. That guy,
- 29:34Speaker 1: so we had a little bit going on. So when
- 29:36Speaker 1: he came for that substantial amount of money, you know,
- 29:40Speaker 1: I had to go now because Marge and I have
- 29:43Speaker 1: a relationship where she has some of her money from
- 29:46Speaker 1: her allowance and I had my money from my allowance.
- 29:49Speaker 1: But this money he came to me, I had to
- 29:51Speaker 1: go to my wife and go ahead, baby, can we
- 29:53Speaker 1: do this right here? That's a lot because it's kind
- 29:55Speaker 1: of stepping outside of what I have the power to
- 29:57Speaker 1: do without confiding in you. So forth and so on.
- 30:01Speaker 1: You know, she's had family members that's needed help and
- 30:04Speaker 1: she comes to me and then, but but she'll tell
- 30:08Speaker 1: them for any amount of money, y'all, you gotta go
- 30:10Speaker 1: to my hub that takes her off the hood. She go.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You gotta, Mardie, just tell you know, y'all can't come
- 30:16Speaker 1: to me with that, You have to go ask my hub.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Now speaking, since you brought Marjorie up, well, talk talk
- 30:22Speaker 1: quickly if you can. We have about thirty more seconds left.
- 30:24Speaker 1: You always say you need four bank accounts. For bank accounts,
- 30:28Speaker 1: we have the bank account where all the money goes
- 30:30Speaker 1: in that pays for bills and everything, necessity, house, electric, car,
- 30:35Speaker 1: know anything. We have another account that requires both of
- 30:38Speaker 1: our signatures. It's a savings account. We cannot have touched
- 30:41Speaker 1: that unless Marjorie and I both signed, and then Marjorie
- 30:44Speaker 1: has an account. I have an account. That money go
- 30:47Speaker 1: to her, that money go to me. I can't tell
- 30:48Speaker 1: her what to do. She can't say nothing of that.
- 30:50Speaker 1: She wanted to buy jewelry, she brought jewlry about Cuba,
- 30:52Speaker 1: Cigar cigar. Can't say nothing to them, and we'll be
- 30:57Speaker 1: we'll be that. You're listening to the Steve al right,
- 31:05Speaker 1: miss Anna standing by with today's national news. But did
- 31:08Speaker 1: you guys hear about this Justin Bieber? Everyone knows who
- 31:11Speaker 1: Justin Bieber is. His fans were shocked and upset after
- 31:15Speaker 1: he abruptly canceled the remaining dates of his Purpose tour. First,
- 31:19Speaker 1: it was said that Justin pulled the plug due to exhaustion.
- 31:22Speaker 1: A lot of entertainers do that. No problem there. But
- 31:25Speaker 1: now other sources are saying that Beads acts the rest
- 31:29Speaker 1: of his tour in order to rededicate himself to Jesus Christ.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I love that, Okay, I love that. Okay, that's what
- 31:35Speaker 1: he said, Jess. Yeah, yes he is, thank you very
- 31:39Speaker 1: much pointing that out. Yeah, and then that of course
- 31:46Speaker 1: would be fine if that was truly it. But Bieber
- 31:49Speaker 1: was seen on video saying that he needed time to
- 31:52Speaker 1: relax and ride bikes, so that maybe he gonna ride
- 31:59Speaker 1: up in the mountain seat. But Justin's come to Jesus moment.
- 32:03Speaker 1: As upset the tour crew, Justin made the movie uh
- 32:07Speaker 1: the Move without any notice, leaving close to two people
- 32:10Speaker 1: out of work. Now that's not cool. Sources also claim
- 32:14Speaker 1: the crew members aren't buying the exhausted excuse, especially since
- 32:18Speaker 1: he just had a month off and spent the time partying. So,
- 32:21Speaker 1: for the record, while that's exhausted, I ain't know party
- 32:25Speaker 1: for a month, but I didn't watch Tommy though he
- 32:29Speaker 1: didn't have some hell of fa Tommin came in here
- 32:33Speaker 1: stretched out. You can't imagine a month. But you know what, though,
- 32:40Speaker 1: I understand the cruise position on it, but at the
- 32:44Speaker 1: same time, it's sort of crazy because the reason you
- 32:48Speaker 1: are working mm hmm. You know, but you affect a
- 32:52Speaker 1: lot of people's family when you just drop off the
- 32:55Speaker 1: map like that. You know, people and your fans, you people.
- 33:00Speaker 1: People need these jobs and they really do because they
- 33:03Speaker 1: went all, Okay, I got a contract, I'm doing this,
- 33:05Speaker 1: be all some I'll be able to pay for this distance.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Then you don't come, you mess, you upset the plans. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I understand. Yeah. So he's been hanging out with Pastor
- 33:15Speaker 1: Carl Lentz of a Hillsong lately, and the pastor apparently
- 33:19Speaker 1: does not kind of in line with what you just
- 33:21Speaker 1: said about those times, does not advocate canceling his tour
- 33:25Speaker 1: at all. So Justin issued an apology, but that may
- 33:29Speaker 1: be too late to even say, you know, for the
- 33:31Speaker 1: fans and the crew members to say sorry. So there
- 33:34Speaker 1: you go. Yeah, even the pastor doesn't want him to
- 33:37Speaker 1: cancel the tour. You know you're doing, Justin? How did
- 33:42Speaker 1: you ride on your bike? Phone? Yeah? I know you're
- 33:46Speaker 1: young and everything. We gotta pa Toronto tonight, trying to
- 33:49Speaker 1: bike rab Where does bike cut off time? Though? How
- 33:55Speaker 1: far you ding? We gotta be fun over hereuldn't have
- 34:03Speaker 1: been here? Because we had a building fun at our church,
- 34:07Speaker 1: he says, our a little boy know at least eighteen
- 34:10Speaker 1: years of building fund. We hadn't put a dough now,
- 34:15Speaker 1: but every Sunday, faithfully, you dropped something into the building.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Where's it going. We're gonna get a new window. How
- 34:23Speaker 1: about just some seat cushion, a couple of more older
- 34:26Speaker 1: ways to get hard by because I'm gonna tell you
- 34:31Speaker 1: one thing. What I'm not gonna do is watch service
- 34:33Speaker 1: in the overflow room. I'm not that committed. Once some
- 34:38Speaker 1: down in the basement in the overflow room, I lose
- 34:42Speaker 1: all interest in the service. It's just who down here?
- 34:46Speaker 1: Is that not the most undecorated rum? But the man
- 34:50Speaker 1: we're late now we're in here trying to act like
- 34:51Speaker 1: we loved it. Man. Man, we're listening to man. We're
- 34:56Speaker 1: listening to the crown. This little speaker. All right, we
- 35:04Speaker 1: have down here now, Steve, they got screens, video screens.
- 35:12Speaker 1: What they got you to that room? We gotta bring in.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody, Thanks a lot. This is a trip
- 35:28Speaker 1: with the news. Okay, well let's go to Ohio. First
- 35:31Speaker 1: of all, catastrophic malfunction on a ride at the Ohio
- 35:34Speaker 1: State fair has killed one man and injured seven other people.
- 35:37Speaker 1: This is Ohio. A man who was killed was one
- 35:39Speaker 1: of several people thrown from a ride called the Fireball. Again.
- 35:43Speaker 1: This was at the Ohio State Fair. Now the fair
- 35:45Speaker 1: is open today everybody, but officials say that all the
- 35:48Speaker 1: rides are closed down. They're going to check all the rides.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I don't want anybody on the rides. Yesterday's White House
- 35:52Speaker 1: press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Huckaby Standards was of course
- 35:55Speaker 1: asked about the president's transgender military band, specifically about out
- 36:00Speaker 1: to what would happen to people already serving in the
- 36:03Speaker 1: service if they were going to be automatically dismissed or something. However,
- 36:06Speaker 1: her answers seemed somewhat general, but she did stress that
- 36:10Speaker 1: the President felt the current situation had to be changed.
- 36:12Speaker 1: The Department of Defense and the White House will have
- 36:14Speaker 1: to work together as implementation takes place, and has done
- 36:18Speaker 1: so lawfully. He's awes that this is a very expensive
- 36:21Speaker 1: and disruptive policy, Sander said. Trump consulted with members of
- 36:25Speaker 1: his national security team before reversing President Obama's policy. Some
- 36:28Speaker 1: groups already say they're prepared to go to court to
- 36:30Speaker 1: fight the White House on this one. Meanwhile, the US
- 36:33Speaker 1: Center voted down a proposal yesterday they would have repealed
- 36:35Speaker 1: most of the Affordable Care Act and allowed the Congress
- 36:38Speaker 1: two years to come up with a replacement. That went
- 36:40Speaker 1: down the flames the Minnesota Police Department. The Minneapolis rather
- 36:44Speaker 1: Police Department now expanding the use of body cameras after
- 36:48Speaker 1: an Australian woman who called nine one one ended up
- 36:50Speaker 1: shot and killed by a police officer there earlier this month.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Acting police Chief Madera Aredondo says the problem is that
- 36:56Speaker 1: too many officers hard to use the technology at all.
- 37:00Speaker 1: It is not being used when it may be needed
- 37:02Speaker 1: the most. From this day forward, in the Minneapolis Police Department,
- 37:05Speaker 1: body warn cameras must be on PILs goes into effect
- 37:09Speaker 1: in two days. Michelle Obama has opened up about the
- 37:12Speaker 1: racism she faces first Lady racism so many of us
- 37:15Speaker 1: saw at the Women's Foundation of Colorado's thirty anniversary. She
- 37:18Speaker 1: discussed the shattering the glass ceiling and the shards that
- 37:21Speaker 1: cut her the deepest, she said, with those that intended
- 37:24Speaker 1: to cut her, She says, quote, we are living with
- 37:27Speaker 1: tiny cut, small cuts. We are bleeding every single day,
- 37:30Speaker 1: but we are still getting up. Meanwhile, on a much
- 37:34Speaker 1: much lighter note, everybody, Today's National cranborough A Day, National
- 37:37Speaker 1: Chili Dog Day, and National Brown Liquor Day. Not that dry. Okay,
- 37:46Speaker 1: this is nan trip and we'll be back with Eugene
- 37:49Speaker 1: the Butterfly twenty minutes after the hour. Stay tuned to
- 37:51Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve
- 37:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen, he's here. But one
- 37:57Speaker 1: last comment, Eugene, for I bring and I'm gonna bring
- 38:00Speaker 1: you out big, thank you that much, thank you, and
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring him out, asked Anthony Brown. But I'm
- 38:07Speaker 1: just boy cotton the overflow rule, sir, I just wanted
- 38:14Speaker 1: to always say that. And this is not a question,
- 38:18Speaker 1: this is a statement. I'm boy cotting all services in
- 38:23Speaker 1: the overflow room on video coming out of a mono speaker.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You no usher down here, and the usher that's working
- 38:33Speaker 1: the overflow room they knew anyway. They ain't even't qualify
- 38:37Speaker 1: because they're not working the main sanctuary banding over there.
- 38:40Speaker 1: He ain't got his hand behind it back, he ain't
- 38:43Speaker 1: got no gloves that No, they ain't gave him nothing.
- 38:48Speaker 1: He got a yell on band on, and he'd the
- 38:51Speaker 1: nurse too. Ain't nobody shouting in the overflow rule. We
- 38:58Speaker 1: ain't that connected. Ain't nobody saying amen while we're in here.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Let's cut this out, lady and gentlemen, why the game?
- 39:15Speaker 1: Put your ass agether get your mand right, yes, carlor
- 39:21Speaker 1: my asy and I'm about to get out. Jane up
- 39:34Speaker 1: very much out he did get. Good morning everyone, Stephen, Timey, Shirley,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Carla Junior, Good morning to everyone. Here is the question
- 39:42Speaker 1: out of the day. Ready, Yeah, what are some things
- 39:45Speaker 1: that sound like compliments but are actually insults? Oh man,
- 39:53Speaker 1: that baby looks just like yeah, that's well, that's a comment.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Oh man, that that I look good it on the squirrel.
- 40:00Speaker 1: You know that don't look good on the squirrel? Let
- 40:04Speaker 1: me too tight? Wow? Your eyes really are that big?
- 40:10Speaker 1: I get that a lot one on my Instagram page. Wow,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I see what Steve means about your eyes, Tommy, I
- 40:23Speaker 1: think the one I get that just trips me ideas
- 40:26Speaker 1: one day you might be good at Steve's compliment. Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 1: it's a d gonna compliment the same he just did
- 40:41Speaker 1: what we're talking about, comment made. Okay, what come on, man,
- 40:50Speaker 1: your hair look nice today. Huh yeah, that could be
- 40:53Speaker 1: a complimented, Carlo, you good for your age? Yeah, that's
- 41:02Speaker 1: the one. That is how you just gonna bring them
- 41:06Speaker 1: pants back like that? Sometimes you a compliment really isn't insults,
- 41:12Speaker 1: so think about it. That's just that's my school proNT today. Stephen,
- 41:16Speaker 1: you want you want? Coming up next to good Nephew
- 41:20Speaker 1: will be black? Thirty four after the hour, you're listening
- 41:25Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Show. All right, Steve. Maybe you
- 41:29Speaker 1: feel like you're stuck in a relationship or a marriage
- 41:31Speaker 1: that's broken. Maybe you're not getting enough attention. Maybe you're
- 41:35Speaker 1: just not in love anymore. Let's talk about the five
- 41:38Speaker 1: most important things to consider if you're tempted to cheat.
- 41:42Speaker 1: How about that five most uh? Five most important things
- 41:46Speaker 1: to consider if you're tempted to cheat. Yeah, I have
- 41:50Speaker 1: a list. I have a list. You can come in
- 41:53Speaker 1: up again. Five most important things to consider if you're
- 42:01Speaker 1: attempted to cheat. Okay, you want to hear my list.
- 42:04Speaker 1: You guys make your own list. Okay, yeah, I know
- 42:08Speaker 1: you do. You may yeah, alright. Number one, no good
- 42:12Speaker 1: can come of it, So remember that if you're attempted
- 42:15Speaker 1: to cheat. Number two somebody's going to get hurt. Someone's
- 42:19Speaker 1: gonna get hurt. Number three. The guilt will stress you
- 42:22Speaker 1: out immediately, the guilt. Number four, The fling is not
- 42:27Speaker 1: gonna last. It's just a fling. It's not gonna last.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And number five, Come on, now, there's a better solution.
- 42:34Speaker 1: You don't have to do this. Should I go back
- 42:37Speaker 1: down from from take it from the top. Number Number one?
- 42:46Speaker 1: No good can come of it? Why not? That's why
- 42:51Speaker 1: I'm doing it. Just's some good coming immediately. Number two,
- 42:55Speaker 1: somebody's going to get hurt. You're not gonna find out
- 43:00Speaker 1: what I'm finishing doing to find out nothing about this.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Let's keep from number three. The guilt will stress you out,
- 43:08Speaker 1: and definitely it never has before. I have gone on
- 43:16Speaker 1: with my life back number four. Number four, the relieving strip.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Number four. The fleet we're not laying. Most of mine
- 43:28Speaker 1: have gone three four years. I call that pretty good life,
- 43:32Speaker 1: that life expectancy. Number five, there's not a there's a
- 43:36Speaker 1: better solution. What's solution looking for? I'm not looking for
- 43:42Speaker 1: one now and I just named it two. What is
- 43:46Speaker 1: the subject? Again? The object is the five most important
- 43:49Speaker 1: things to consider if you're tempted to cheat? Number one.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Number one, when they see who you cheating with, will
- 43:59Speaker 1: they say okay, really crazy, that's good. And then here's
- 44:08Speaker 1: the second most important. Asked the question again, Okay, what
- 44:11Speaker 1: are the five most important things to consider if you're
- 44:15Speaker 1: tempted to cheat? These are Number two? How much is
- 44:18Speaker 1: has you got? You got to consider that, how much
- 44:26Speaker 1: he is? You got paid? You got it could go down?
- 44:32Speaker 1: Can you lose? These are things that you really got
- 44:38Speaker 1: to Oh, this keeps me at home? You got paid?
- 44:45Speaker 1: You got to consider. I don't have no money. So
- 44:48Speaker 1: do you think that I got to consider? Do she
- 44:50Speaker 1: have somebody? Just the case we get called? Got to
- 44:59Speaker 1: go down? He to kill me. I need to know
- 45:03Speaker 1: and to do she live on the same side of
- 45:06Speaker 1: town I do. I need you to be across town.
- 45:09Speaker 1: We can't be seen together at the same stop us
- 45:12Speaker 1: now can't work together. Dri drive a bout the house,
- 45:17Speaker 1: see your car in her drive. If I'm on the east,
- 45:22Speaker 1: she got to be on the west. If I'm on
- 45:24Speaker 1: the north, I need your south. See the things for
- 45:27Speaker 1: me to consider. I don't know what this no geek
- 45:29Speaker 1: can come of it. I don't know about that. With
- 45:31Speaker 1: them two things I got to come on boy, do
- 45:34Speaker 1: she have brothers as well? Number three? Come number three.
- 45:38Speaker 1: It's being seen in public? Important to you? You, that
- 45:47Speaker 1: is my favorite series in public? Important to you? Oh
- 45:53Speaker 1: my god, because if it is when talking about last
- 45:59Speaker 1: week about some cheating and they never went out of
- 46:01Speaker 1: the house ever a day. They never went on a day.
- 46:06Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Now we see how your
- 46:09Speaker 1: minds work. Coming up next, it's the nephew prank phone

- 56:15Speaker 1: hold on tight. We gotta Joe Barry Let thank you,
- 56:17Speaker 1: Tommy subject childless, manless, clueless and hungover at forty, Dear Steve,
- 56:25Speaker 1: Harvey and Shirley. Currently, I am separated and over forty.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Can't have any children's main reason for my divorce. Anyway,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I met a man, Mr. Man, who was also separated,
- 56:36Speaker 1: and we became very close. It was great. After a year,
- 56:41Speaker 1: Mr Man has his divorce. Once my divorce was final,
- 56:45Speaker 1: this summer, I thought Mr Man and I would be together. Well.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Mr Man told me that he was going to New
- 56:50Speaker 1: Jersey to get his ex girlfriend, the woman he should
- 56:53Speaker 1: have married instead of his wife. I had to ask
- 56:56Speaker 1: what about me? He said, I am a beautiful woman,
- 56:58Speaker 1: but I had three problems. Number One, I am too emotional.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I cry at the drop of a dime. Number two,
- 57:05Speaker 1: real women are mystery. Once that's gone, nothing is left.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I'm an open book. Number three, the big one I
- 57:12Speaker 1: should not have I should not have fallen in love
- 57:15Speaker 1: with a married man him. I missed all the signs
- 57:19Speaker 1: of this rejection. I tried to be open and honest
- 57:22Speaker 1: with this man. Of course, the sex was good, but
- 57:25Speaker 1: I am truly hurt. So as I watch him take
- 57:28Speaker 1: his ex girlfriend on a romantic weekend to the Poconos
- 57:31Speaker 1: Mountains this weekend. Last night, I had my brown liquor,
- 57:35Speaker 1: my brown liquor song Anita Baker no more tears and
- 57:38Speaker 1: cried myself to sleep. I should have known better and
- 57:42Speaker 1: controlled my feelings at forty. So I'll say it's my fault.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I am not perfect now. I am out of two
- 57:49Speaker 1: men in one year at forty. I pray that God
- 57:52Speaker 1: heals my heart and my mind. Childless manless, clueless and
- 57:57Speaker 1: hungover at forty. Wow. Uh, dear dear childless manless, clueless
- 58:04Speaker 1: and hungover at forty. I mean, yeah, you know, Uh, God,
- 58:07Speaker 1: will you know, protect you and heal you and all that.
- 58:11Speaker 1: But you have to do your part. You know, you
- 58:13Speaker 1: gotta do your part um and that is not jumping
- 58:18Speaker 1: into something when number one you're still married to this uh,
- 58:22Speaker 1: to your husband. Uh and uh number two, you know,
- 58:26Speaker 1: just jumping in, not getting to know this man, you know,
- 58:29Speaker 1: sleeping with him right away. That's exactly what happened. That's
- 58:32Speaker 1: what he means by the mystery. You know, once the
- 58:35Speaker 1: mystery has gone, then it's over. I mean telling him
- 58:38Speaker 1: everything you said. You're an open book. You don't have
- 58:40Speaker 1: to tell this man everything. He's not even your husband, um,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you know, and then being so emotional and needy. You know,
- 58:48Speaker 1: you gotta learn from um from your relationships so this
- 58:52Speaker 1: won't happen again. And as far as not being able
- 58:55Speaker 1: to have children, um, you know, if you want to
- 58:57Speaker 1: go this route, adoption is always an option, and it
- 59:00Speaker 1: definitely is always an option. You know, think about that
- 59:03Speaker 1: in your next relationship. But I don't advise you to
- 59:05Speaker 1: even get in a next relationship, a new relationship until
- 59:09Speaker 1: you know you learn from this particular one so you
- 59:12Speaker 1: won't keep making these same mistakes over and over and
- 59:15Speaker 1: over again. So take your time, know what you want,
- 59:18Speaker 1: and don't settle uh anymore? Okay, and make these men accountable,
- 59:23Speaker 1: you know, talk about their plans, find out what he
- 59:26Speaker 1: wants to do. You know, why should that have even
- 59:28Speaker 1: been a surprise to you that he wanted to go
- 59:30Speaker 1: back and marry someone else, Steve, This letter is classic,
- 59:37Speaker 1: is classic, classic example of how women get involved and
- 59:46Speaker 1: not know upfront her whole life is that one. First
- 59:51Speaker 1: of all, she's separated right now, can't have any children.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Main reason for my divorce. You're getting divorce because you
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: can't have children. Who didn't know this in the beginning.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: How was this not talked out thoroughly in the beginning.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: So you get to this point with your husband and
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: he finds out you can't have children, or he just
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: his sizes he won't children, or this is the reason
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: he's telling you that he got to leave. All it is,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: all it is. All of this could have been handled
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up front. You were surprised that your marriage is over
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: because of the fact that you can't have children. You've
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: been knowing this a greater part of your forty years,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: especially in your adult life where it really counts. Okay. Secondly, um,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you met a man, Mr. Man, who was separated, which
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: means he was still married to Mr Man gets his
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: divorce and once your divorce was final this summer, I
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: thought Mr Man and I would be together keyword, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: thought you once again, ma'am. And I'm just not trying
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: not to be too hard on you, because you know
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: you made a mistake. But you said I thought Mr
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Man and I would be together once again? Classic classic
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: not knowing up front. You could have found out if
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you and Mr Man was gonna be together before you
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: broke off the cookie with this man. But now you're
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: passing out cookie like it's like like it's a business card.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Now you're sitting up in here and found out that
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Mr Man, after his divorce, is gonna go back to
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Jersey and get his ex girlfriend. He could have told
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you that to begin it, had you inquired. Ladies, you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: have the right to inquire. It's not being nos it
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: ain't being pushy. You ain't gonna run no man off.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: If a man really want you, you can't running him off.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: You can't run us off. We scary, We won't you,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: we want you. We are not scary people me and
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: are not scary. You don't run us all, and we
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: won't you. Come on, come on, pimps and players. Didn't
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: put it in your head that you will run us all.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Men can't be run off. So here you go. He
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: goes to the ex girlfriend, the woman that he should
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: have married instead of his wife. Oh, this is conversation
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you could have add, why are you getting the best?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Who would you have married if you didn't marry your wife?
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I would have married this girl in New Jersey. Matter
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: of fact, if I ever get out of this, I'm
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: going back and get hard. You could have found this
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: out and saved yourself to them, so you had what
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: about me? What about you? It's too late. He going
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to get the girl in Jersey. Ladies, you have every
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: right to ask up front, see what about you is first?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: You gotta get the what about you out first, or
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: when you get to the point where you gotta ask
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: what about you? This ain't about you no more. This
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: about him and the woman in New Jersey. Now he
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: got us the boys, he gone. He's going back to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: who we should have married in the first place. You
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: ain't asked none of these questions because you was swat
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: having a good time, feeling good. Y'all was pleasurable. You
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: all had so much in common. The only thing y'all
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: had in common was both y'all were separated. His plans
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: was not your plans. You have every right to know
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: of a man's plans. You especially have the right to know, ladies,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: if you are not in his plans. There always to
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: go about finding this out. We come back. I'm gonna
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: open up a few more cans in the uh in
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: this letter. A few more items in this letter share
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: with you, especially the three problems she has. I'm too emotionally,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he says, he's too emotionally cried to drop down. Real
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: women are mystery wants. That is gone, nothing's left. I
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: tell you what me and mean by that. And I'm
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: an open book. And the third big one I should
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: have should not have fallen in love with a married man.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I mean too when we come back.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: You're okay. The man told me that he was going
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to New Jersey to get his ex girlfriend, the woman
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: he should have married instead of his wife. I had
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: to ask what about me? He said, I'm a beautiful woman,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: but I had three problems. Let's go over these problems late.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Number one, I am too emotional. I cry at the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: drop of a dime. Well, here's the deal. If a
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: man don't love and don't have emotional ties to you
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: of any kind, which is obviously this man don't, he's
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: not buying into drama. Tears to a man is drama
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: because guess what if your man loves you and he
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: sees you crying, he has to fix something. We got
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: to spring into action and do something. Since it's it's
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: it's the only reason we like to talk to you.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: We don't want to talk to you if if we
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: can't fix it. So now you're just crying at the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: drop of the dying. He don't know what the hell
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: going on. He can't fix it. That's drama. I'm not
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: in love with you, and I ain't really feeling you
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: like that. So gus, what I ain't buying into this
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: drama over no cookie, which is all you are is
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: some cookie. Second, real women are mystery. Once that is gone,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: nothing is left. He told you that, Okay, you know
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: what that means. That means you told everything in the book.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I will tell you what to tell a man and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: what not to tell a man. See, y'all go about
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: this the wrong way, y'all. Y'all think it's being honest
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and open. Hey, hey, y'all better understand what this really is.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Now when you're talking to us, when you give us information,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: we're taking this information to use it a certain way.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: That's what we're doing. We're not gathering information because we
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: care for you. We gather informa mation because we can
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: use it in our quest. Third, the big one, I
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: should have not she said, I should have not fell
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: in love. That's what she said with the married man.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I miss all this, all the signs of this rejection. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you didn't miss any of the signs of rejection. You
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: didn't ask for the signs, You didn't ask any questions.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: What was his intentions after his divorce was over, whether
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you fit into the plans? How does he see you?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: What the big one is I'm gonna give you is
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: that you fell in love with a married man. You
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: know what he says to him, You had no standards.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: That's all that says to him. Man, you had had
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: no standards. Now you won't do what now you wanna
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: start practicing standards with me? I'm not really sure if
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: you have any, because what you ain't gonna do is
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: start practicing new standards with me and my feelings. I'm
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: gonna going up to Jersey and get my old girl back. Man, Holly,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: at you we gotta go email or Instagram. That's your
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry letter at my girl? Surely? Now,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: come on, Steve, introduce that girl from the top. Ladies
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: and gentlemen, boys and girls, military personnel, everybody around the world.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Girl on the world. Come on, Cheryl, what's doing? That
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: intro was too much for Sorry? Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Hello, Hey, Okay, Okay,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry I missed all of that. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: What's happening, family, Okay, let me tell you what's happening
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: since Okay, let's just talk about it. Okay. I think
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: earlier this week they talked to about ugly wives. Oh yeah,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the guys. Yeah, you know why here, I need to
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: clear up some things. None of us like to be
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: called ugly wives. We prefer handsome. Let's I'm gonna be
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: real now, I'm I'm a member of the ugly wife club,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you know, because some men like that woman to look
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: like y'all fat, something like that. They do because you know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: sometimes it ain't in the face, it's character, it's wisdom.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: You know. I give my man confidence because I know
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: we're walking together. Some people thinking, how the hell did
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: that happen? See I'm before see up, Shirley. Am I right?
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: You see a fine dude looking like peeling Michael Thomas
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: walking with somebody should have been on Planet of the Apes. Pleas,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I'm so uncomfortable right when ugly women walk in the bedroom,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: we play Bubba sparts because it's about to get ugly
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: up and I'm the perfect woman any man. Why Because
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: men loved the Steve Harvey Mortner Show. And I got
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: everything that's part of the Steve Harvey Mortner Show on
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the male ugly side. I got multiple personality like Tommy.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I got a smile like Junior. I gotta mustache like
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Steve at a body like Jath the brown flick. Stop
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: what some women gotta face and everybody look like you, Shirley,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I gotta face and men like that. Call men like
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: a woman with character with sticktuitiveness, you know, look like
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: an old hound dog, look like dude. Likely sure you're
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: gonna stop. I'm just telling you the truth. You know
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: that there's handsome women in the world, call them. So
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I'm just know what I'm saying is on behalf of
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: all the women that are not printing in the face,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: but beautiful in the ways and got that nice boute
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: that nice on young don't worry, that's something they out
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: there for you. And Steve harving them bad. And I
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: talked about no more unattractive women because there's somebody out
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: there for everybody. Don't y'all believe that, Yes, yes, that's right,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: that's right. So I'm not lied to know about everybody.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Know what I look like without a wig and make up.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Everybody know that I know you got to beat. Let
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: me tell you something. Let me tell if you're a
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: woman and your feet look like you should have been
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: on the flintstones sticking them out of car, you need
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: to know that. You need to just said that somebody's
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: gonna love you, you know, because all men don't like
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: what they say. If you're gonna be happy for the
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: From my personal point of view, get an ugly girl
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: to marry you. That's what the song I'm saying. Y'all
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: don't know them lives. Yeah, see, should see the win
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you won't co sign is because you was pretty. Some
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: women out there, well thank you for that, But because
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I love you challenged you gotta fight that. Why do
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you think make that wasn't venting to enhances up, not
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: to cover up. Thanks. People texted me going, did you
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: say y'all fat cooto? Okay, all ugly women, raise your hand.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I do solomly sweat to accept the face that God
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: gave me at work with what I got because I'm
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: really fine in my mind. I'm Steve Harvey. Don't be
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: tripping I'm finding my mind. You're beautiful. I don't know
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: what that's right. You're beautiful inside, beautiful inside you handsome,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: that's what you are. You handsome alright, Cheryl, thank you
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: as always. I think I don't even know you're listening
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: to Steve made good day in the moon. It's all
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: right now, yes it is. Yes, he's coming mad one
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: day and I should wanna be ready, wity go. I'm
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: gonna be ready even if you ain't. I I gotta
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: go to heaven and I'm done the same. Well, it
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: will just be me, all right. It's a ges be
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: me and Jesus my dollar. Good moneys everyone for brutal,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: for brutal for Hi calling, Hey, sister Dale, how you doing?

- 1:14:15Speaker 1: out the donor call for them. You'na able to fit
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: them in nobody's head. If you get one of your
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: eyes on the back of your driving line, if you
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: put it in the man's head, he's gonna be able
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: to see too much to take the one chill out
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: of the car so he can dry. Okay, we got it. Hey,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: what I'm just saying you you call me. We're back
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: on the end of the back already. We just had
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: out from the back first place, right back on the flot.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: You can't keep your damn mark shut. Yeah, you're just
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: drinking water. You're down, said, come on, what y'all got today?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: What are we talking about? You know what we're kind
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: of discussing off air like slang, you know, stuff that
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: we used to say back in the day, like for
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: instances your odal, like we take advantage of the opportunity,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: maintain success. Huh, take advantage of the opportunity maintain success,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: said this joker. Right, Yeah, that's slang that ain't slanger.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: But you didn't say that. Okay, well I'm saying it now. Well, hey,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: you cann't say it after you just said it? How
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: you want to get you down? Now you know she'd
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: be able to read read didn't go to the next one.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Sho you're supposed to be saying. We're gonna say, I'm
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: gonna say something. You tell me the best way to
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: say it. Okay, I'll say this, and you tell me
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the best way to say it. Shoot your shot, Shoot
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: your shot, shoot your shot. Bring it yet? Should bring it?
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: It does to go after something or someone that you want. Okay,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: we'll bring it in that close Okay. Um, we ain't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: snatch snatch I know you know this one to be
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: put together together or in shape. No, that's what your
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: mama do when they're snu your not in you, when
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: you show it out at the church and your mama's
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: snatch you. Now, next thing you know, she snatched you
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: sitting there looking like a pressure. That's where that meant,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: because when we say snatch, it means what you ain't
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Aboudy asked you what you said, Shelly, you're messing the
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: joke up and keep going back over. I gave a
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: punch line. What is your reiteration it for? You didn't reiterate? Huh,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: not reiterate, reiterate, reiterates. I'm not iritated with you, but
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I'm back to be because reiterate. You want to real
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: this situation banging it back up? Tell you to re
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: entity always conversation, you can't talk? What else you got?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: All right? Secure the bag, meaning take advantage of the opportunity,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: maintained success. Now that just hold my purse. That's all
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I mean. That's only time, only time I have the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: holy baggs when I'm on baptism committee. And now I
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: got address him. Let let's read the fraglan once you
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: get paid. Back to Teddy Pendergraph, Huh, I don't feel
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: comforable discussing her paint is? I don't. You're a big
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: fan of his back in the day, did you granddad?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you, Yeah, did you know anyone?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: What was his grandfather's name? Mogetty Mott, pend Mogetty Pendagram,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Oh oh Pendra. And how do you guys meet where
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: that they're called him Getty called the more you want
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: the more he gave you. They call him, you want
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: some more? Here? Can you get it? And him't get him?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Don't get it? Pendigran and I mean here you ever
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: run out? The man was something else, had a rough
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: old voice. You light. He couldn't sing though, not at all.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it. Sound like everybody in there. Get
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the blowing out candle. Oh it was candle. It wasn't like,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: wasn't no lights back there? What you guys right after
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: service one time? Oh? You guys went to the same church,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I said. After service, I went down to the new
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Chickland spot later that fried chilans. After serving, I went out.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: He was the one lighting the fire for the grease.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: And Lord Jesus, you're listening to show. Well, it's ten.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Everybody put your hands together. It's time for reality reality Baby,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: let it in. I love it. I love it. One
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: more time with the reality Park. Here we go. It's
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: time for reality update. You're fired, nephew, he don't give
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: it hit all Hire Jr. All right, here we go,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Reality Update. Alright. Love and hip hop Hollywood is back,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: ladies and John Yeah, and I love me some Ray
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Jay and Princess in three. Yeah, that's the season three
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: ended with them finding love and they got married last season,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: but they were not They weren't on the season premiere
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of I guess it's a season four. They went on
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the season premiere episode. I'm sure we'll be seeing a
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: lot of them as the season episode started airing every week.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: But new cast member my girl, I Love Love Loved
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Me Some Kesha. Yes, Keisha has joined the show. And
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you know what, we all know that Keisha has had
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: a lot of drama in her life. You know, she had,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: you know, the issues with her mom, Frankie and her sister,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: and you know we've seen Keisha Col's life play out
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: on reality TV before so and this time it's no difference.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: She has joined the cast of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: and she had a very public and being tough breakup
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: with her husband, Daniel Booby Gibson. Now we all know Booby.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: He played in the NBA for I think it was
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: about maybe what seventy six years junior. He played for
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: the Cleveland Cavalier years back in the day. Right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: he is from Houston. I know some people that mama
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: went to school with my mama, and then she gonna
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: act like she didn't know my mama because her son
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: was Mama checked that situation. Then I said, I know
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: you ain't sitting up here tracking like you don't know me,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Booby Mama that I don't like them. I love your
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: mama and your mom. I did not know your mama, dude.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Mama held Booby. Mama grabb me helm Booby. My mamma
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: graduated together from Jones High School. Come on, classmates, class
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: of seven to six. She said, Oh, you're gonna okay.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I remember you were praying it with Booby. You're not
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: gonna get in Hollywood. We had this kind of world
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: shout out to Houston right about now. You said, Jones
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: High School. That's South Park, baby, if anybody from Houston
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: you o the area? All right? Well, Daniel lied and
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: cheated on Keisha, you know throughout their marriage and that breakup.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: It was heartbreaking for Keisha. I mean that they broke
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: up and um, it devastated her. But despite all of that, Yeah,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: she was just really really hurt by that. But despite
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: all that pain and drama, Booby and Keisha, we discover
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: are still living under the same route. They are still
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: still living together. Keisha still cares for her ex, and
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: so she wants them to co parent together. Booby and Keisha,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: they have I think he's seven seven year old son,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: DJ together, and we know Keisha's family's history. Keisha didn't
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: know her biological father growing up, and you know, she's
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: had some serious, serious family issue dramas, and so Keisha
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: feels that DJ needs his father, he needs his father there,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and so they are coming together, living under the same rout.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: You know, Booby is not playing ball anymore. It's I
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: guess he's trying to get himself together and get his
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: career together. So there's still some tension there. It's just
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: not all a bit of roses under that roof. When
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: you walk into the house. You see Keisha coming in
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: working from being on the road and being in the studio,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: and Booby is there being the dad kind of handling
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: the domestic duties and you know, taking DJ to school
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and that kind of thing they worked out. Yeah, they're
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: trying to work work it out for the baby. And
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I don't think they are legally divorced, so surely I
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: don't think technically they are. I'm not sure. I don't
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: quote me on that. But I don't think they are
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: legally divorced. But here's my question. Do you think that
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you could co parent with your ex and live under
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the same route. Do you think you can do that?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Come on, Strawberry, what was the inside boys? Outside? Move on?
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: What about you? Junior? Do you think you can do that? No? No, No,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I can do that? Why what? What fun? I mean debate?
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: You could just be hugging the baby and not hugging me.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: That's my problem. You'll be wanting to get back together.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Come on, no sense, How can he get all the
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: husband kids? And I'm standing over here by myself. No,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I think Booby is still wanting to get back with Keisha.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I think he's trying to fix it. Yeah. I think
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: he's trying to fix it. But she's just she thinks
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: of them and get coparing on the same house with you.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: And I'm like, surely when it's old, you don't want
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: all of it, it's no more. Yeah, you do make
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: sacrifices for your child every single day. Yeah, that's what
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: love is about. Sacrifice. Yeah. Yeah, Well hit me up
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: on Twitter or Instagram if you're listening right now you
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: want to join in this conversation. Do you think that
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: you could co parent with your ex under the same
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: roof like Keisha Cole and Booby Gibson are doing right now,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: lips by Carla, hit me up on the Gram or
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Twitter and we'll talk about it now. On the scripted
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: show Let's Move On Power, Yes, Kendrick Lamar said, this
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: is the best show. Yeah, yeah, I said game with
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Rolls Power. You know, I love both of them. So
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: your girl Angela did not see Ghost hide the gun
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: at Truth. She got a copy of the surveillance video.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: She watched the video. Yeah, and so she saw that
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Ghost did not hide the gun at at Truth. And
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: so Angela, you know, she believes that you have to
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: do the right thing no matter what. So she shared
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: with Ghosts and his lawyer the prosecution strategy to come
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: forth and frame Ghosts with that seven million dollar check
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: that they said that Tommy paid, that Ghosts paid Tommy
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: to kill Greg Knox. Angela did the right thing. And
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the hardest scene to watch was Ghost fighting US Marshall
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Williams played by Charlie Murphy. It was a tough that
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: was a tough scene to watch the timing of it
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: all due to Charlie Murphy's being deceased. It was tough,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: and it looks like the my boss is uh might
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: be Tommy's daddy. We're gonna see you saw that the
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: mob boss and we can't stand Tyreek. Everybody hates Tyreek.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the stew all right.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I want to ask you guys some questions. These are
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: some questions, uh, that we found on reddit dot com. Steve,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: what job do you have zero experience in but are
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: confident you could do successfully? President of United States? I
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: could do it now. I used to didn't feel that
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: way when Obama was in. I didn't say got to
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: do it at all. But now keep going there right
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: off the top of my head. And then you didn't
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: even make that in a question. I love that this
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: is I don't need that in I bet you I
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: could do it. I can't do it no worse. Damn. Now,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna make some mistake, but I take a couple
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: of things I wouldn't have done, Like I wouldn't have
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: done the travel band. I ain't saying nothing about sexuality
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: in the military. Damn. A matter of fact, if you
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: want to come in here shooting come on, I don't
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: give a damn who in that kid? Yeah, I don't
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: making stronger. And then I wouldn't have asked myself to
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: come up there in January if I knew I was
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: gonna be all type of huncle terms and coons. You've
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: told you to stay. Hey, yeah, I'd have never asked
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: I asked to come up there if i'd have known
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: what y'all was gonna do to me. I just said
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: no to your self. I called the Obama transition team
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: and everybody and saying, hey, I'm not I thought I'm
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: being a good American. I got up, you ignorant slave
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: got through with me. Actually with damn what I come up.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: I didn't know you. I thought I was doing the
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: right thing. I really feel in my heart I did
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: the right thing. But you know, after that, knowing what
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: I know now, but you wouldn't asked you, I wouldn't
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: ask me to well, I was nephew cool after that.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: I didn't ask a lot of people that come up there.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: They went to President man. Right. You know, people don't
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: even understand how God, you don't even understand he takes
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: what looks like your darkest moment and if you just
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: keep the faith. He got something. All things work for
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: the good. Who love the Lord God? No, I love
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: it now. I ain't perfect, but I do love him though,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: and he keeps showing up in my life, man, just
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: like you do yours. I mean, look at all the
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: wrong stuff you've been done, and then look at where
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: you are at today. Now, technically we have no business
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: being here, Lord Lord, that's grace and we all benefit
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: from his grace. But we act like we don't. But
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: you know, didn't here come them hate us? That you
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: ain't got room for nothing in your life like they life?
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: Just like the crystal staircase. Right, all right, here's another question, Steve,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: What item completely changed your way of life after you
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: found out about it? That's a good question for you.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Say it again? What item? What things completely change your
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: way of life after you found out about it? Well
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: it wouldn't, cavyall it? Okay? One more time? Asking okay,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: what item completely change your way of life after you
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: found out about it? Like that? Tomas? Thomas? I didn't?
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: That was Thomas say, I'm sorry. There's now see if
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: you ever get some real cash, maybe we'll continue this
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: when we get back. You're listening to the string show.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: All right, here we are back to the questions crazy
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: guys that I'm working with the time. Okay, So what
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: item completely changed your way of life after you found
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: out about it? When you say item, like like you know,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: like a thing, like you know, for instance, you're into yachts,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: you're into cars, you know, just things whatever, Yeah, whatever
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: change your life? Like, was it the what's the thing?
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: The alexa? Whatever it was vacationing. Vacation has changed my
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: life because you used to just go to Vegas. Yeah,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: I didn't understand going to wed in the first year
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: we was married, Marge from timing, I want to go
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: to Paris. Well, hell, they we get that's in Vaga.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: They got over there. You ride on the Gundol. You
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: will just go to Vega. You go to Pyramis? Is there?
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: You go anywhere? What are you wanting to go somewhere else? Why?
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Why did I marry her? Why do you always want
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: to go some damn where? All this is in Vegas?
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: But now vacationing has changed my life. Exposure to the world.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: It is not just the United States, y'all. It is
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: some amazing places to see in this world. God did
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: just not create the United States of America. It ain't
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Vegas in Hollywood in New York. It's the French riviera,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the Italian riviera. It's it's Sicily, it's the food. It's
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: the Marfi coast, It's Porto Fino. Africa's Dubai. It's Africa.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: Safari's my recommendation. You can save your money and put
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: it together. You have to see the continent of Africa.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: You gotta flyer in an airplane different and see the
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: vastness of it. It's just hours and hours and hours
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: and hours of flying and not see a building, wow,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: but fly and see the animals and the vast ways.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: It's so vast man, I mean, it's the most Africa
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: is the most amazing continent on the earth. So what
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: would be the first Like if you go over you
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: can't see it all at one time, but what will
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: be the first stop to me? It's Africa's huge. Can't
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: see at all. And you know, everybody in different countries
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: in Africa. I mean when you say you go to
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: South Africa, people in Angola and Nigeria, they go wild.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: You got to come see us South that But Johannesburg,
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: what's so alarming for me to get off the plane
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: and see black people in charge of everything. Oh yeah, everything,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what they see when you what they say
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: when you get off the black Oh man, he is here,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: he is here. It was amazing being famous. There was
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: amazing in charge of everything from the highest office of
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: the presidency on down. Huh. I mean you see him
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: in charge of everything, and it's like the airport is
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: filled with people in charge. You go with your supervisor
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: e Africa. That I saw animal. We didn't know what
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: that was. It was it was animals. You ain't And
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: the size of him, a lion, is not what you
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: see on TV. Oh I bet that roar is something
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: I gotta works. Would nobody ain't sick? He died? Let
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: me take a chance. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Now it's time for just one more thing.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Researchers have discovered that Americans are having less sex than
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: they were twenty years ago. I know, I am years ago. Yeah, Jack,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: rabbit Jack, you were bringing it stick repeated, I'm talking
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: about he didn't that ramage? Sun j R. S everything up. Boy,

- 1:35:27Speaker 1: to be exact. They say about nine fewer times per
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: year than they were in the nineteen nineties. Yeah, that's
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: what they're saying twenty years ago, nine fewer times a
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: week per year, but you were per week. I'm talking
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: about performances that that had no meaning. Is it a performance? Though?
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: We have to put on a show. What what did
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: you say? Wasn't in love? Which stage? You're just? You're
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: not on stage? I will sunds on stage. Rabbit, gentleman,

- 1:37:09Speaker 1: just saw vain man. I'd like to do yours. Nobody fat.
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: You have to bring him up. They had to bring
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: him out. Ladies and gentlemen coming into the room right now,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: the holy rabbit that makes bugs. But it's not that funny.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: The only rabbit that can tell Peter cotton hand on
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: go ahead, it's Jack rabbit. Fun Jack rabbit, back rabbit
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: came in with a pair of gold boots on purple sues. Shine. Yeah,
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: that rabbit, Johnson man telling you man, the only rabbit
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: to stone roch the rabbit girl dog Jack. Wow, I'm
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: getting ready to tell you right now. The researchers believe
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: that this is because Americans are getting married older and
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: starting their families later, so that it's called jack rabbit.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: Ain't give a damn back beach. That's why I was.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: I had nothing to lose. So if you're older, you know,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: you might be more tired as a parent, which means
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: less sex. No, I had no money. I wasn't working
