Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Trends point to Voters Trusting Trump on Economy
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There is a trend that is starting, and it is
- 0:05Speaker 1: a trend that is going back to something that I've said.
- 0:09Speaker 2: For a long time. It's the economy.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Stupid Nobel Laureate's coming out back in Kamala Harris, the
- 0:18Speaker 1: media coming out back in Kamala Harris. But voters seem
- 0:23Speaker 1: to be very clear about something. They trust Donald Trump
- 0:26Speaker 1: to fix, the economy. Elitas are out there also trying
- 0:31Speaker 1: to gaslight the country, saying that only Harris can save
- 0:37Speaker 1: us from the nightmare, which is Donald Trump. The problem
- 0:42Speaker 1: is this, many Americans believe that the only person that
- 0:46Speaker 1: can save us from the inflation nightmare that Americans are
- 0:50Speaker 1: facing is a guy by the name of Donald Trump.
- 0:55Speaker 2: That is the interesting part of this conversation.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Donald Trump is also so just hammering Harris on all
- 1:03Speaker 1: text issues, including tariffs. Kamala Harris's message on tariffs' is
- 1:10Speaker 1: being well, strongly rejected by American voters. There are certain
- 1:15Speaker 1: things that happen in debates which you don't think at
- 1:19Speaker 1: the moment are a big deal, and then they.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Turn into massive deals. What I mean by that is this.
- 1:24Speaker 1: In her CNN town hall on Wednesday, Harris once again
- 1:30Speaker 1: misleadingly called Trump's tariffs proposals a quote national sales tax
- 1:34Speaker 1: of at least twenty percent on everyday goods and necessities,
- 1:38Speaker 1: that's their exact quote, and claim that they would raise
- 1:42Speaker 1: costs for American families. She couldn't even bring herself to
- 1:46Speaker 1: use the word tariff, by the way, when she was
- 1:48Speaker 1: on TV on CNN. The problem is the American people
- 1:53Speaker 1: don't believe her. The number she used of twenty percent
- 1:57Speaker 1: was so high that there has been a large number
- 2:00Speaker 1: of people that have responded with like significant backlash, going
- 2:04Speaker 1: I don't buy it, I don't believe you. The American
- 2:07Speaker 1: people apparently agree with Trump that the word tariff is
- 2:12Speaker 1: actually not a bad word, but the most beautiful word
- 2:15Speaker 1: in this presidential election. CNBC All American Economists survey released
- 2:21Speaker 1: on Thursday showed that fifty four percent of Americans now
- 2:26Speaker 1: say they trust Trump. That's fifty four percent of Americans,
- 2:29Speaker 1: so they trust Trump to do a better job on
- 2:32Speaker 1: tariff's and imports in the economy in general. Just thirty
- 2:37Speaker 1: two percent say they trust Kamala Harris, meaning they believe
- 2:40Speaker 1: that she's lying.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Now that's one poll.
- 2:44Speaker 1: When one poll comes out, I look for another poll
- 2:46Speaker 1: to see if there is a real trend. Well, sure enough,
- 2:49Speaker 1: a Reuter's poll came out and found that fifty six
- 2:53Speaker 1: percent of voters support Donald Trump's tear proposal, and then
- 2:57Speaker 1: an ABC News poll release last week found that fifty
- 3:01Speaker 1: seven percent of voters support raising tariffs, including nineteen percent
- 3:05Speaker 1: who strongly support the view. As Donald Trump has said
- 3:09Speaker 1: it's time for us to put tariffs and to attack
- 3:13Speaker 1: those that are hurting America like China, they're saying, yes,
- 3:17Speaker 1: we like the idea. Now, what's interesting about this is
- 3:23Speaker 1: that CNN after their debate with their headline underneath it
- 3:28Speaker 1: right eleven days out Harris and Georgia, Trump and Nevada
- 3:31Speaker 1: and Arizona, and they're You're giving their you know, big commentary.
- 3:36Speaker 1: One of the things that they said was this about
- 3:39Speaker 1: the tariffs. Take a listen as they even are in
- 3:43Speaker 1: shock that the American people are going against Harris.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we about your chime and a lot of this stuff. Hell,
- 3:49Speaker 3: I've been discussing this for over a year now on
- 3:51Speaker 3: this network. The needle hasn't necessarily moved against a former president.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm just speaking as a strategist here. There's a reason
- 3:58Speaker 3: this race is tied. Connect Now, perhaps some people may
- 4:02Speaker 3: dismiss it. Perhaps there are other priorities that people are
- 4:04Speaker 3: more concerned about. But clearly that message alone isn't resonating
- 4:08Speaker 3: with enough voters to give Vice President Harris a comfortable lead.
- 4:12Speaker 2: In this race. Web say I have this in the bag,
- 4:14Speaker 2: but she doesn't for a reason.
- 4:15Speaker 4: See, it's not that message alone.
- 4:17Speaker 5: This isn't the only thing that.
- 4:19Speaker 2: She's talking about.
- 4:19Speaker 4: One of the things that I thought.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Was so good what she is talking about, I will
- 4:23Speaker 6: tell you.
- 4:26Speaker 4: And you're not listening very well.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Trump last night.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Which that was mister wonderful by the way, from Charta,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and he's like, what is she talking about?
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out what is she talking about? Here?
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm listening and you could hear Maria Cardenter there. She's
- 4:39Speaker 1: like trying to defend the indefensible. You hear the other person.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Harris hasn't necessarily moved the needle against Donald Trump. And
- 4:45Speaker 1: by the way, you should be able to move the
- 4:46Speaker 1: needle when you walk into friendly environments day after day
- 4:50Speaker 1: after day. Harris's economic proposals, many believe are going to
- 4:55Speaker 1: go are going to kill America's economy. Fox Business Network
- 5:01Speaker 1: had a conversation about Harris's plan to quote go after corporations.
- 5:07Speaker 2: That is what she said she wants to do.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Now her proposals to be clear, and this is where
- 5:11Speaker 1: Americans are like, I don't know if I like. This
- 5:13Speaker 1: would be a massive increase of the corporate tax rate
- 5:16Speaker 1: to twenty eight percent, a forty four point six percent
- 5:21Speaker 1: capital gains tax on any of your investments every year. Okay,
- 5:24Speaker 1: so you put up all the risk with your investments.
- 5:26Speaker 1: The government doesn't lose money with you. Right, you put
- 5:29Speaker 1: money into retirement account for a one K, you have
- 5:31Speaker 1: capital gains. So she wants to say, if you make money,
- 5:34Speaker 1: I take forty four percent of it. So everybody in
- 5:37Speaker 1: America that has a retirement account, everybody in America has
- 5:40Speaker 1: capital gains, right, meaning that you have capital. So I'm
- 5:43Speaker 1: going to use a round number. Let's say you have
- 5:44Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars invested. She believes if that number
- 5:48Speaker 1: goes to one hundred and ten thousand in a year,
- 5:51Speaker 1: you should be tax meaning they get forty four zero
- 5:54Speaker 1: point six percent of that ten thousand dollars you just made.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Do you have any idea what that does to your future?
- 6:01Speaker 1: It destroys you. That's exactly what Kamala Harris is trying
- 6:05Speaker 1: to do.
- 6:06Speaker 2: She also has not just and that's capitol games.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Okay, so you understand capital games is different than unrealized games.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So unrealized games she wants to tax at twenty five percent.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Unrealized games are when you have a stock that you purchased,
- 6:20Speaker 1: all right, and you haven't sold the stock. So let's
- 6:23Speaker 1: say I buy a share of Walmart and Walmart goes
- 6:26Speaker 1: from fifty dollars to sixty three dollars. Let's say I
- 6:29Speaker 1: buy a stock in a company and they come out
- 6:32Speaker 1: with some new life saving drug, cancer drug, and that
- 6:35Speaker 1: stock doubles or triples. She wants twenty five percent of
- 6:40Speaker 1: the increase in that stock price since you bought it
- 6:43Speaker 1: every year, year over year over year over year.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Now you didn't sell the stock.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Okay, maybe there's a big bump and that thing goes up,
- 6:50Speaker 1: but you don't want to sell the stock, so it's
- 6:52Speaker 1: got to come down. You think it's going to level out.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Maybe you're playing the long game. Stocks. What happens? They
- 6:57Speaker 1: go up and down all the time, every day, right,
- 6:59Speaker 1: every day, they go up and up and down, up
- 7:00Speaker 1: and down.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Well, if you at the end of the year.
- 7:03Speaker 1: She says, take a snap shot and any stock that
- 7:05Speaker 1: you've got more money in than you did last year,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I want twenty five percent of it. Well, if that
- 7:09Speaker 1: stock goes down the next day, she didn't care.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Is she going to cover?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Help you cover the losses at twenty five percent? No,
- 7:16Speaker 1: So this is another extreme taxation of the American people.
- 7:19Speaker 1: She also wants communist price controls, price controls on groceries,
- 7:24Speaker 1: price controls on virtually, uh everything that she says she
- 7:29Speaker 1: believes the price has gotten too high. She then says, oh,
- 7:34Speaker 1: and I want an up to a six thousand dollar
- 7:36Speaker 1: child tax credit. Well, you can have the six thousand dollars.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I got three kids. By the way, if you're gonna
- 7:43Speaker 1: if you're going to tax, I don't care about the
- 7:45Speaker 1: six thousand dollars tax credit. If you're taking twenty five
- 7:47Speaker 1: percent or twenty eight percent of my corporate taxes if
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm a corporation, forty four point six percent capital gains tax,
- 7:53Speaker 1: twenty five percent tax on unrealized gains, Like you just
- 7:57Speaker 1: sucked all the money out of my life, all of
- 7:59Speaker 1: the all of my hard work every year just disappears.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I invest, I pay taxes before I invest in the
- 8:05Speaker 1: money that I'm investing, and bam, twenty five percent tax
- 8:08Speaker 1: and I realized gains Like this is insane. Take a
- 8:13Speaker 1: listen to this from Fox and how they described it.
- 8:17Speaker 5: No.
- 8:17Speaker 6: I think Brooke made a really good point, Cheryl by saying, look,
- 8:20Speaker 6: we've all lived through both administrations. We've lived through a
- 8:23Speaker 6: Trump administration and we've lived through a Kamala Harrison administration.
- 8:27Speaker 6: It's only fair to ask yourself, are you better off
- 8:29Speaker 6: today than you were four years ago? I would say
- 8:31Speaker 6: the answer increasingly is no.
- 8:33Speaker 8: Well you and I went.
- 8:34Speaker 9: Through those numbers earlier this week, Maria. When it came
- 8:37Speaker 9: to the economics under the Trump administration versus the economics
- 8:41Speaker 9: under the Biden Harris administration, and when it came to inflation,
- 8:45Speaker 9: when it came to immigration, but when it also came
- 8:48Speaker 9: to wages, the differences were startling. And as far as
- 8:53Speaker 9: going after these corporations, which Democrats always say this, this
- 8:56Speaker 9: is always their talking point, those evil corporations, you know,
- 9:00Speaker 9: Bernie Anders last weekend on Sunday Morning Futures. The thing is,
- 9:04Speaker 9: those corporations employ millions of Americans. Those corporations provide for
- 9:11Speaker 9: one ks and healthcare to millions of Americans. So if
- 9:15Speaker 9: her plan is to go after corporations, you're going to
- 9:19Speaker 9: be killing jobs, You're going to be hurting people's finances.
- 9:23Speaker 9: And we've seen from poll after poll that as right on,
- 9:27Speaker 9: right on Q forty two percent feel that they're better
- 9:30Speaker 9: off financially under President Trump. Those are the numbers.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Those are the numbers. I love how they describe it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: These are the numbers.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Folks.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You want to living in your communism, You want to
- 9:40Speaker 1: go to work every day and the majority of your
- 9:42Speaker 1: money goes to the federal government. You want to invest
- 9:45Speaker 1: in a retirement account, and then every time you have
- 9:47Speaker 1: unrealized gains on a stock, you got to write a
- 9:49Speaker 1: check to the government.
- 9:51Speaker 2: That is the Kamala Harris plan.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's not like we're guessing she's telling you they're going
- 9:55Speaker 1: to take your money.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Folks, are going to take your money.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Kama Harris, by the way, is obsessed with trying to
- 10:03Speaker 1: figure out a way to connect with the voters.
- 10:04Speaker 2: In the last days, her town hall didn't work.
- 10:08Speaker 1: So now she's moving back to the issue, which she
- 10:11Speaker 1: thinks is I guess the whole ballgame for her, and
- 10:14Speaker 1: that's the issue of abortion.
- 10:16Speaker 2: She's going to Texas. So doesn't make sense to me.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I understand the logic, but it still doesn't make sense
- 10:23Speaker 1: to me, and I'm going to explain it. So she's losing. Okay,
- 10:28Speaker 1: she knows she's losing. We're starting to see these trends.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's starting to feel like that the American people are like, yeah,
- 10:36Speaker 1: we don't like her, and she's now turned to fear right,
- 10:42Speaker 1: he's a fascist, right, don't jump to fascists. In the
- 10:45Speaker 1: last twenty four hours, he's hit where anybody out there
- 10:47Speaker 1: that wants to be inspired to go kill him? Go
- 10:48Speaker 1: kill him, Please help Americans out. That's the last minute effort.
- 10:54Speaker 1: She was in Georgia. She had the boss Bruce Springsteen
- 10:57Speaker 1: on stage, which, by the way, Democrats just have better
- 10:59Speaker 1: musicians and Republicans.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I'm good with it. I understand it. You can't win
- 11:03Speaker 2: it everything.
- 11:03Speaker 1: In life, right, So if you and and and let's
- 11:06Speaker 1: be honest, a lot of musicians are a weird, little
- 11:08Speaker 1: fighty little you know, crazy. They are like a lot
- 11:12Speaker 1: of drugs, a lot of weed, a lot of alcohol. Okay, Like,
- 11:15Speaker 1: so if the weed people and the drug people and
- 11:17Speaker 1: the alcohol people.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Right are on your team, like, it's not really adult.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So I don't know how many be like Damn, I
- 11:24Speaker 1: saw Bruce Springsteen up there on stage of Kamala, and
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna vote for now because of Bruce Springs and
- 11:28Speaker 1: the Boss. Like, I just don't think that's a normal
- 11:30Speaker 1: conversation that's taking place. And Democrats always go back to
- 11:34Speaker 1: celebrities when they're hurting. Beyonce. Guess who's gonna be with Kamala.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Beyonce comes out, Beyonce's gonna appear with Kamala. And Houston, Texas,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you know, Beyonce's sometown. I don't know if there's a
- 11:46Speaker 1: lot of people like man Beyonce. Taylor Swift is another
- 11:49Speaker 1: great example of this, right. Taylor Swift is like, you know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: Republicans are Satan and we've held if we had this
- 11:58Speaker 1: fight in our house, Okay. So like I'm one of
- 12:01Speaker 1: those where I don't expect everybody around me to believe
- 12:04Speaker 1: what I believe. I'm good with it, right, Like my
- 12:06Speaker 1: own mom disagrees with me on things. So my wife
- 12:09Speaker 1: has been twice to a Taylor Swift concert, not once,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but twice. My producer is is judging right now, you
- 12:16Speaker 1: can't I judge too, And I'm like look, it's your decision.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I don't care. Like, if that's what you want to do,
- 12:21Speaker 2: you like like do it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But but when she came out, she's like, I'm supporting Kama,
- 12:27Speaker 1: remember that.
- 12:28Speaker 2: And then like before that, she's like supporting Joe Biden.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I just don't think that that really moves the needle
- 12:34Speaker 1: that much. I think Bruce Springsteen being on stage, I
- 12:37Speaker 1: don't think that moves the needle that much. I just,
- 12:40Speaker 1: by the way, I don't think hul Cogan, which was
- 12:42Speaker 1: an awesome moment at the Republican Convention, really moved the
- 12:46Speaker 1: needle that much. Now there's there's enthusiasm around the moment, right,
- 12:49Speaker 1: like Bruce Springsteen's out there, and and and so is
- 12:54Speaker 1: that a cool thing?
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's cool. Right, It's cool that the.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Boss would show up in Georgia for you, beyond say
- 13:00Speaker 1: showing up going let's kill more babies in Houston. I
- 13:04Speaker 1: don't know if that's the messaging you went in the
- 13:05Speaker 1: last couple of days of a campaign, but okay, like sure,
- 13:10Speaker 1: do your thing, right. This is why I see Ann
- 13:13Speaker 1: said earlier that Harris hadn't necessarily moved the needle against Trump.
- 13:16Speaker 1: This is the reason why I Dug Collins said that
- 13:18Speaker 1: Kamala turned to fear campaign because she's got nothing to
- 13:22Speaker 1: actually run on.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Take a listen to this from Fox.
- 13:27Speaker 10: Donald Trump is running to be an American tyrant.
- 13:31Speaker 1: By the way, that's the Boss saying that Donald Trump
- 13:34Speaker 1: is running to be an actual tyro Let's.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Back came up. I like, Bruce, I like the boss
- 13:38Speaker 2: all right, like.
- 13:39Speaker 1: This guy like and it's clear that Comle's campaign is like, hey,
- 13:42Speaker 1: we're calling him hitler right now. If you can go
- 13:44Speaker 1: out there on stage before you sing an American song,
- 13:46Speaker 1: the boss, can you call him a tyrant real quick
- 13:48Speaker 1: and the audience will love it?
- 13:49Speaker 10: You?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Oh yea, yeah, I got you, no problem.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Donald Trump's Hitler Like like, I just okay, So am
- 13:55Speaker 1: I like? Oh no, like, oh no, the Boss just
- 13:58Speaker 1: called Donald Trump tyrant. Like to me, I'm if I'm Trump,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I'm like sweet, Donald.
- 14:03Speaker 10: Trump is running to be an American tyrant. He does
- 14:09Speaker 10: not understand this country, it's history, or what it means
- 14:13Speaker 10: to be deeply American.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Harris was also joined by let's just pause there.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Okay, he doesn't understand what it means to be deeply American.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I would love to ask the Boss this question, right,
- 14:24Speaker 1: what does it mean to be deeply American? Drugs and
- 14:27Speaker 1: alcohol and topless women at a concert? Is that deeply American?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Like? I know what American is? Okay, America.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I'm the boss, Like, like, I'm trying to figure out
- 14:37Speaker 1: what it is that the Boss understands about America that
- 14:40Speaker 1: I don't understand about America.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Like, tell me what that is. I want to know
- 14:44Speaker 2: what is that?
- 14:44Speaker 5: Like?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Please let me know. I want to know. Tell me
- 14:48Speaker 1: what I'm missing here? He's deeply American? You know America?
- 14:52Speaker 1: I hate I understand America. And then after the Boss,
- 14:57Speaker 1: guess who else comes out on stage on Thursday night
- 14:59Speaker 1: in Georgia.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Barack Obama former.
- 15:04Speaker 6: President Barack Obama at the rally, slamming Trump and doubling
- 15:07Speaker 6: down on her economic policies.
- 15:10Speaker 11: It's over the last years, and in particularly the last
- 15:13Speaker 11: eight years, Donald Trump has become more.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Confused, more unstable, and more angry. Yeah, by the way,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you know, it's funny. She says that Donald Trump's become
- 15:25Speaker 1: more confused and more angry. Do you notice that?
- 15:28Speaker 2: Right?
- 15:29Speaker 1: I actually think Donald Trump is less angry now than
- 15:31Speaker 1: he was when he ran in sixteen. Like in sixteen,
- 15:34Speaker 1: the guy was pretty hacked off. He was yelling at everybody.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I mean he was. He was intense in sixteen. I
- 15:41Speaker 1: think now he's gotten more used to the politics of politics.
- 15:45Speaker 1: In sixteen, when people were attacking mem He's like, I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: gonna knock you out. I'm king o everybody, Like I'm
- 15:48Speaker 1: just walking around. I'm just I'm just swinging for the
- 15:51Speaker 1: fences every single day, Like that's what he did in sixteen.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I think that's one of the reasons why I got
- 15:56Speaker 1: in trouble in twenty twenty, is because he was swinging
- 15:58Speaker 1: for the fences. I think of anything Donald Trump's mellowed
- 16:02Speaker 1: in the last four years, go back and listen to
- 16:05Speaker 1: him in sixteen compared to now in twenty twenty four,
- 16:08Speaker 1: eight years later, he's not the same guy. He's more chill.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I also think being shot either makes you more angry
- 16:16Speaker 1: or less angry. And I think it's like, Okay, God
- 16:18Speaker 1: saved me, I'm gonna run this campaign and I'm going
- 16:21Speaker 1: to focus in. I think he's more of a disciplined
- 16:23Speaker 1: candidate now than he's ever been.
- 16:26Speaker 2: He was not disciplined in twenty twenty four years ago.
- 16:28Speaker 1: He was erratic and and when didn't stay focused on
- 16:31Speaker 1: the issues, and he should have stayed focused on the issues,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and he wanted to defend. He took the bait on everything.
- 16:37Speaker 1: So she now comes out she's like, you know, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: get it. She's into the fear campaign, right because she's
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, he's an evil, fearful person.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And Bruce Springsteen, you know he's a tyrant.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna play some songs for you, like I
- 16:49Speaker 1: would actually listen to this crap and then listen to
- 16:51Speaker 1: songs like that's just me because I'm like, I don't
- 16:53Speaker 1: care what he says, Like got used to be like,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I'm not going to see them. I remember the first
- 16:56Speaker 1: time I saw a politician, or I say, ysician attack
- 17:00Speaker 1: a politician. Two thousand and uh probably two thousand and three,
- 17:05Speaker 1: Pearl Jam played in Birmingham, Alabama, and Eddie Vedder was
- 17:09Speaker 1: on stage, and I love Pearl Jam. We went, we
- 17:11Speaker 1: drove from Oxford, Misissippi, from Ole, miss to Birmingham on
- 17:15Speaker 1: a weeknight to see Pearl Jam play outside it was awesome,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and he brought a blow up doll of George Bush
- 17:23Speaker 1: forty three on stage and then like drop kicked him,
- 17:26Speaker 1: like dropped it and then kicked him right, like like
- 17:29Speaker 1: beating up the sitting president. Units it's in America, and
- 17:32Speaker 1: I was like, all right, here's a middle finger for you.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm not going to another concert. As
- 17:38Speaker 1: I've matured in my my elder statesman years of all
- 17:41Speaker 1: of forty three, I'm now like I don't give a
- 17:44Speaker 1: crap what you think. Just shut up and seeing like
- 17:46Speaker 1: to me, I'm like it makes me laugh, Like if
- 17:48Speaker 1: Bruce Springstreet's talking politics, I'm like, shut up and sing
- 17:51Speaker 1: like I like, you have no influence over my life,
- 17:54Speaker 1: like at all, shut up and seeing you puppet like
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry, like just be the parrot I paid for
- 17:59Speaker 1: a ticket to be.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I don't even get offended. Like some people get really mad.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Now they're like when Taylor Swift, like when she talks,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, the chick literally all of her songs
- 18:07Speaker 1: about her bad choices in life with dudes, And now
- 18:09Speaker 1: she's like, I know Joe Biden's the guy. Nevermind, I
- 18:12Speaker 1: know Kama Harris is the woman and Donald Trump is
- 18:14Speaker 1: evil and I'm like, well, every dude you've ever picked
- 18:17Speaker 1: the wrong dude in your life, you've written a song about,
- 18:19Speaker 1: Like I'm not taking advice to you politically, like shut
- 18:21Speaker 1: up and sing you pair it, like go up there
- 18:23Speaker 1: and do what you're supposed to do, Like like I
- 18:26Speaker 1: they have.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Zero influence over my life.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But when Kama was up there on stage and she's
- 18:31Speaker 1: like he's become more on hings like that, I don't
- 18:35Speaker 1: even think the American people really believe that, because I
- 18:38Speaker 1: think they're seeing a calmer Donald Trump, a guy that
- 18:41Speaker 1: the left is calling hitler and then wondering why people
- 18:43Speaker 1: are trying to kill him. Because when you call somebody hitler,
- 18:47Speaker 1: after two people try to kill him, possibly a third,
- 18:50Speaker 1: there's one thing that's pretty darn clear. Now you're dog
- 18:53Speaker 1: whistling for a crazy to go take him out. And
- 18:56Speaker 1: I do believe that level of unhingedness, that level of
- 19:00Speaker 1: radicalness is not going to be like flipped on its
- 19:05Speaker 1: head in a moment because you've got Taylor Swift or Beyonce,
- 19:10Speaker 1: while by the way, you're talking about exterminating babies. The
- 19:12Speaker 1: part about Beyonce that I think people don't understand is
- 19:15Speaker 1: Beyonce and her in Houston is number one, You're going
- 19:18Speaker 1: to a state where you're not gonna win in Texas,
- 19:22Speaker 1: so you're wasting a day now, they believe it's worth it.
- 19:25Speaker 1: And the reason why they believe it's worth it is
- 19:27Speaker 1: because they're going to say, hey, you don't want to
- 19:28Speaker 1: live in a place like Texas, where by the way,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I think it's like a thousand people are moving every
- 19:31Speaker 1: twenty four hours. The American people are disagreeing with you.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I mentioned a moment ago going to Houston and doing
- 19:41Speaker 1: a campaign rally in Texas. Let's talk about that fear.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Why you pick Texas if you know you're not gonna
- 19:46Speaker 1: win Texas. She believes that she can do this event
- 19:50Speaker 1: and national media is going to cover it. Beyonces there
- 19:52Speaker 1: and they're like, let us kill babies.
- 19:54Speaker 2: We want to have it.
- 19:55Speaker 1: We want to have sex all the time and get pregnant,
- 19:57Speaker 1: and then we believe that we should just be able
- 19:59Speaker 1: to the baby's on demand whenever. And they're gonna say
- 20:04Speaker 1: Texas is evil and they have these evil laws where
- 20:07Speaker 1: women are dying even though there's no evidence of this
- 20:09Speaker 1: in alleyways, like they've been saying this stuff lately, that
- 20:12Speaker 1: like women are bleeding out in the hospital parking lots
- 20:14Speaker 1: because doctors won't touch them because they're fraid they're gonna
- 20:16Speaker 1: go to jail. There's no there's no indication or stories
- 20:20Speaker 1: this happening because but who cares, right, you don't need
- 20:22Speaker 1: to fact check it, like you don't need to fact
- 20:25Speaker 1: check it. It's it like, no, we'll just go with that.
- 20:28Speaker 1: That's what the media like. Yeah, that's a great story.
- 20:30Speaker 1: How barbaric, how awful Texas socks? How many people from Texas?
- 20:34Speaker 1: And by the way, you know the number one state
- 20:35Speaker 1: where people are moving from to go to Texas, California,
- 20:40Speaker 1: where Kamala Harris is from, where Nancy Pelosi is from.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Like this is where people are leaving.
- 20:46Speaker 1: They're leaving these radical states that are close to socialism,
- 20:50Speaker 1: where crime is out of control, where homelessness is out
- 20:54Speaker 1: of control, where legal immigration is out of control.
- 20:56Speaker 2: And where are they going.
- 20:57Speaker 1: They're going to places where there's freedom, where tax are
- 21:00Speaker 1: out of control, and they're coming to Texas.
- 21:03Speaker 2: And meanwhile, all right, let's have a rally.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Like I don't I still don't understand the Kamala Harris
- 21:06Speaker 1: campaign unless they're so desperate for a headline with Beyonce
- 21:11Speaker 1: that Beyonce was like, Hey, look, I'm not all leave
- 21:13Speaker 1: my house to come over and see you. But I
- 21:16Speaker 1: ain't flying to see you. You're ables Kamala like, and
- 21:18Speaker 1: that may be it. It may be that simple that
- 21:21Speaker 1: that Beyonce's like, I ain't fine nowhere to hang out
- 21:23Speaker 1: with you, like Bruce preeeseems like Ali's come to Georgia.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I don't know where.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Where does Bruce live? I don't even know, but I'm
- 21:28Speaker 1: assuming New Jersey, Okay. So so he's like, yeah, I'll
- 21:32Speaker 1: fly down on my PJA right and kill the environment
- 21:34Speaker 1: PJ private jet. And then, like Beyonce might be like
- 21:37Speaker 1: a diva. There's a there's a rumor she's a diva,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and you might be like, all right, like if we
- 21:44Speaker 1: come to you, will you come on stage with me?
- 21:47Speaker 1: And then I guess, all right, here's a plan. I'm
- 21:49Speaker 1: gonna come to Texas. I'm not gonna win. I'm gonna
- 21:51Speaker 1: spend a day in Texas with you, Beyonce, And I
- 21:55Speaker 1: think you're gonna get the African American voters to be
- 21:57Speaker 1: excited about me, and I need you to do that,
- 21:59Speaker 1: just like you know Oprah. Okay, And then we're gonna
- 22:02Speaker 1: tell every woman that they deserve the right to kill
- 22:04Speaker 1: their baby and even at the last second of it,
- 22:07Speaker 1: and it's not a baby, and and and even if
- 22:10Speaker 1: it's nine months, just kill it. And that's that's like
- 22:13Speaker 1: women power and beyond, Like hell yeah, let's do some
- 22:15Speaker 1: of that.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Let's lay now and that.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I'll get out of bed for I'll get my I'll
- 22:19Speaker 1: get my glam on for that. If that's what you're
- 22:22Speaker 1: running on in the last less than two weeks of
- 22:25Speaker 1: a campaign, I like my chances on election day because
- 22:29Speaker 1: you're not talking about the economy. You're fear mongering. And
- 22:33Speaker 1: the closing argument from the Harris campaign right now, unless
- 22:36Speaker 1: they pivot, is Bruce Springsteen likes me, Beyonce likes me,
- 22:40Speaker 1: with Taylor Swift likes me. And oh, by the way,
- 22:46Speaker 1: the other guys want to kill babies a lot. Oh
- 22:50Speaker 1: by the way, they want to force you to not
- 22:51Speaker 1: kill your baby.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Let me rephrase that. Let me let me just rephrase it.
- 22:55Speaker 1: They want to force you to not kill your baby,
- 22:58Speaker 1: and we want to kill your baby. So now I'm kama,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'm Bruce Springsteen. He'll impregnant you and then we want
- 23:04Speaker 1: to boart you. Like it's this is a circular argument.
- 23:08Speaker 2: You see it every day. She got a plan to
- 23:12Speaker 2: make your life better.
- 23:14Speaker 8: She's going to go out for corporations that unfairly jack
- 23:17Speaker 8: up prices.
- 23:18Speaker 2: She don't make it easier to build and buy a home.
- 23:22Speaker 6: Harris will head back to Michigan on Saturday for a
- 23:24Speaker 6: campaign event with Michelle Obama. Maria, all right, Brooke, thank you, Brookes.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Sigman Doug Collins, is that a plan going after corporate America?
- 23:34Speaker 6: Obama says, she's got a plan to make your life
- 23:37Speaker 6: better by going after corporate America. I don't know if
- 23:40Speaker 6: that's a plan to get the economy back to where.
- 23:42Speaker 2: We want it.
- 23:43Speaker 7: No, but been coming from President Obama wasn't a plan either,
- 23:47Speaker 7: and I think that's you know, you look at this,
- 23:49Speaker 7: and so he's very used to non plans, and when
- 23:52Speaker 7: you look at this, there is no plan there. And
- 23:54Speaker 7: when you attack corporations, you attack, you're playing to the
- 23:58Speaker 7: base fear. The campaign on the hair side now has
- 24:00Speaker 7: become a fear campaign. It's a fear that Donald Trump
- 24:03Speaker 7: is bad. It's a fear that big government, big corporations
- 24:06Speaker 7: are out to get you while big government is here
- 24:08Speaker 7: to help you. That's become the transition here because she
- 24:11Speaker 7: has nothing to run on. Notice, she never, you know,
- 24:13Speaker 7: goes into issues of plans because she doesn't have them.
- 24:16Speaker 7: And Barack Obama, I mean to say that you're doubling
- 24:18Speaker 7: down on a policy. You've got to have a policy
- 24:20Speaker 7: first to double down.
- 24:21Speaker 1: All He's right, that CON's good friend of mine, former congressman.
- 24:25Speaker 2: He's great, He's absolutely right.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Kamaa turned a fear campaign because she's got nothing to
- 24:30Speaker 1: run on, and by the way she is, he'scried.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Obama is very used to non plans.
- 24:34Speaker 1: We gonna give you some hope, and then you're gonna
- 24:36Speaker 1: vote for me because I'm black, and that's gonna give
- 24:38Speaker 1: you some change because I'm black, And that'll give you
- 24:41Speaker 1: a hope because.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I'm black, and we're gonna have to change because.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I'm back, because I'm a hope, because I gave you
- 24:46Speaker 1: a hope because I'm back.
- 24:47Speaker 2: So vote for me, hope and change it work.
- 24:49Speaker 1: By the way, then I also think, by the way,
- 24:51Speaker 1: Barack Obama is a way better salesperson than Kamala Harris, like,
- 24:55Speaker 1: way better. And we gave you a guy on stage
- 24:58Speaker 1: to day the boss drums a fascists. Yeah, I just
- 25:04Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be overly confident, but I do
- 25:07Speaker 1: feel like we're on fairly good footing right now because
- 25:11Speaker 1: the trend is going in the right direction. Kevin o' O'Leary,
- 25:15Speaker 1: you know him as mister wonderful from Shark Tank. He
- 25:18Speaker 1: went on CNN and obliterated the idiots at CNN on
- 25:23Speaker 1: the corporate tax rate that Kamala Harris is explaining, saying
- 25:28Speaker 1: it's good for America, that it's good for America to
- 25:31Speaker 1: go to twenty eight percent, and he explains as a
- 25:33Speaker 1: business owner what this will do to this country if
- 25:36Speaker 1: we go down this road.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Listen, I mean, we were.
- 25:39Speaker 11: Just discussing this, and I think it's it's worth being
- 25:42Speaker 11: just very clear about it. We had a whole discussion
- 25:45Speaker 11: last time you were on the show about you know, okay,
- 25:49Speaker 11: if we want to talk about policies, what are the policies? Right?
- 25:52Speaker 11: When you ask Donalds from that, he doesn't really have
- 25:55Speaker 11: an answer. But we want to hear the fifteen point
- 25:57Speaker 11: plan from a'st pick one.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Let's pick one.
- 25:59Speaker 11: No, no, no no. Before you jump in here, why just
- 26:03Speaker 11: to be clear, you can't just pick one right like
- 26:07Speaker 11: I'm saying here, I'm saying to you, how many do
- 26:10Speaker 11: you want to Pickabla Harris.
- 26:13Speaker 5: I'm just saying if we're going to debate policy. Let's
- 26:16Speaker 5: pick one area and move on.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Let's wait.
- 26:19Speaker 9: The point is that he doesn't actually specify what is Please.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Give me a moment. I think we can focus on
- 26:24Speaker 5: one thing. Everybody can agree. Corporate tax rates are important
- 26:28Speaker 5: in the competitiveness of America.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yes, no, yes, no, yes, okay.
- 26:32Speaker 5: It doesn't matter what our tax rates are, it's where
- 26:34Speaker 5: they sit in the G twenty. We want to be
- 26:36Speaker 5: in the middle or near the top. And competitiveness twenty
- 26:40Speaker 5: one percent, which is where we are sort of now,
- 26:43Speaker 5: is very competitive. We're in the upper quartile. If we
- 26:46Speaker 5: go to twenty eight we go to the bottom quartile.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Now does anybody care about that as a policy statement?
- 26:53Speaker 5: Has Harris ever explained why it's good to go to
- 26:55Speaker 5: twenty eight percent?
- 26:57Speaker 10: Believe?
- 26:59Speaker 4: Just for someone if I'm a voter out in the
- 27:01Speaker 4: Midwest trying to make ends meet you, Just like.
- 27:03Speaker 11: When did when did Donald Trump ever say.
- 27:05Speaker 5: That he's telling you he's not racing?
- 27:10Speaker 11: Yeah, I guess that, But when did he? But when
- 27:12Speaker 11: did he articulate what.
- 27:13Speaker 4: You just.
- 27:15Speaker 5: He already said that he was going to try and
- 27:17Speaker 5: keep his tax policy in place, trying to even reduce
- 27:20Speaker 5: the fifteen percent.
- 27:21Speaker 11: I think.
- 27:23Speaker 9: This is like one of the least popular policies Donald.
- 27:29Speaker 4: If you want to talk about that policy, Kamala Harris
- 27:31Speaker 4: talks about how big corporation should be paying their fair
- 27:35Speaker 4: share that resonates more.
- 27:36Speaker 5: Than eighty eight percent. All your jobs at this table
- 27:40Speaker 5: come from the eighty eight percent job creation is in
- 27:44Speaker 5: the private sector.
- 27:45Speaker 1: When when America, by the way, I love how Kevin does,
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's like talk amongst yourselves. After he makes his point,
- 27:52Speaker 1: like you have to be competitive with the rest of
- 27:54Speaker 1: the world. You go to twenty eight percent and the
- 27:57Speaker 1: G and the G twenty you're at the bottom.
- 27:59Speaker 2: You not competitive. People will do business there.
- 28:01Speaker 1: International business won't come, international businesses won't expand people won't
- 28:05Speaker 1: buy goods and services.
- 28:06Speaker 2: You will destroy the economy.
- 28:07Speaker 1: And then he's like, you guys don't understand economics, like
- 28:09Speaker 1: it's six against one. By the way, this is what
- 28:11Speaker 1: I did for seven years in hell at CNN, like
- 28:13Speaker 1: this is what it's like. This is a guy that
- 28:15Speaker 1: everyone's trying to scream and yell over and they're like, well,
- 28:17Speaker 1: what you said is really smart. Basically is what their
- 28:19Speaker 1: defactive point was. But Donald Trump's ever said that he's like,
- 28:21Speaker 1: yes he has. They're like no, no, no, he's never
- 28:24Speaker 1: said it like you did.
- 28:26Speaker 2: So they're like.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Admitting, all right, what you said is brilliant, but Donald
- 28:29Speaker 1: Trump never said it.
- 28:30Speaker 2: And he's like, that's what he's proposing, you idiots.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And then and then at the end he's like, I'm
- 28:35Speaker 1: not like, I'm not making this up.
- 28:37Speaker 2: There are two policies here.
- 28:39Speaker 1: There is I'm gonna take every dime I can get
- 28:42Speaker 1: from anybody in this country and corporations, because there I
- 28:44Speaker 1: do believe there's a fundamental belief by by socialists that
- 28:47Speaker 1: corporations are evil.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Why because they threaten their power.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And if you can kneecap corporations, you can turn it
- 28:54Speaker 1: into Russia where the government owns everything communism, Remember you
- 28:59Speaker 1: own nothing. The private sector doesn't exist. The government is
- 29:03Speaker 1: the industry. The government is the leader in every industry.
- 29:06Speaker 1: The government does everything. And look how bad the government
- 29:08Speaker 1: sucks at everything they do. Now, we can't even give
- 29:10Speaker 1: kids to read writer do arithmetic with trillions of dollars
- 29:13Speaker 1: spent on public education, did you hear me? We can't
- 29:16Speaker 1: even keep you safe in this country. In major cities
- 29:20Speaker 1: where liberals are in charge, they can't even keep you safe.
- 29:22Speaker 2: But they want to take over now the companies.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And so if you do a corporate tax rate and
- 29:27Speaker 1: you say they're the evil guys, and you shut down
- 29:28Speaker 1: all the corporations, and you have more power.
- 29:31Speaker 2: This is about power.
- 29:32Speaker 1: And by the way, for a government to have power
- 29:35Speaker 1: over you, do they need the population to be powerful
- 29:38Speaker 1: or weak.
- 29:39Speaker 2: They need it to be weak.
- 29:41Speaker 1: They need the majority of people to say I have nothing.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I need you to feed me, I need you to
- 29:47Speaker 1: clothe me, I need you to house me. I need
- 29:50Speaker 1: you to educate me, aka and doctrinate me. Look at
- 29:54Speaker 1: countries where there are socialist, Marxist and communists. The people
- 29:57Speaker 1: have no guns. The people are too weak to send
- 29:59Speaker 1: up to the peace people, to the government. I should say,
- 30:03Speaker 1: can you have a gun in Russia?
- 30:04Speaker 4: No?
- 30:05Speaker 2: You have a good in Venezuela, no. Can you have
- 30:06Speaker 2: a gut in Cuba? No?
- 30:08Speaker 1: They have massive gun control. What happened in Germany they
- 30:10Speaker 1: confiscate all the guns. No one could stop the extermination
- 30:14Speaker 1: of all the people and is all the Jews when
- 30:18Speaker 1: you the only thing that is saving us right now
- 30:21Speaker 1: is our constitution, which democrats don't like, our Supreme Court,
- 30:25Speaker 1: which they say they want to pack and the fact
- 30:27Speaker 1: that we don't have a corporate tax rate right now
- 30:29Speaker 1: at twenty eight percent.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Listen the last thing O'Leary says.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Americans are looking at huge corporations who are making money
- 30:39Speaker 4: hand over fist. While all of the prices.
- 30:42Speaker 5: At the pro don't like this, they're what they are
- 30:45Speaker 5: wanting to talk about.
- 30:46Speaker 4: They are going to be looking at what Harris is saying,
- 30:50Speaker 4: and what and what and what and if Harris is saying,
- 30:54Speaker 4: I want these corporations to pay their fair share, to
- 30:57Speaker 4: not get out of paying the zero reason.
- 30:59Speaker 5: That you want to make America the bottom quartelle competition,
- 31:07Speaker 5: I love this.
- 31:08Speaker 2: He's just saying.
- 31:08Speaker 1: So you're saying you hate corporations making money, which employed
- 31:11Speaker 1: the majority of people in this country, and you hate
- 31:14Speaker 1: them making money, the people working in corporations, and so
- 31:18Speaker 1: therefore you want to take that away because you hate
- 31:20Speaker 1: people being successful. That is exactly what the policy of
- 31:23Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is. Swallowell was asked a question about the
- 31:28Speaker 1: economy with just eleven days left to go.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Listen to what he said, Okay.
- 31:33Speaker 12: You need in your life. So she's giving a speech
- 31:37Speaker 12: on Tuesday on the Ellipse clearly to mark the location
- 31:43Speaker 12: where Donald Trump delivered that speech on January sixth, again
- 31:47Speaker 12: focused on the threat of democracy and whatnot. Do you
- 31:51Speaker 12: think that people, the voters, basically the undecided voters, see
- 31:55Speaker 12: that as something that affects their daily lives more or
- 31:58Speaker 12: less than than healthcare.
- 32:02Speaker 8: Undecided voters want in America that has free market capitalism,
- 32:07Speaker 8: not free for all capitalism. They want a rule of
- 32:09Speaker 8: law where all of us are treated the same, not
- 32:12Speaker 8: one set of rules for a president who thinks that
- 32:15Speaker 8: he's above the law and another set of rules for
- 32:18Speaker 8: those who are deemed his enemy. They want a land
- 32:22Speaker 8: where women have reproductive rights. That's why she's going to
- 32:25Speaker 8: Houston today to really animate that issue. So they're concerned
- 32:28Speaker 8: about all of these issues. And yes, of course they
- 32:31Speaker 8: want to know that if they work hard, they can
- 32:33Speaker 8: buy their first home, which is why Kamala Harris has
- 32:36Speaker 8: a twenty five thousand dollars down payment plan for first
- 32:39Speaker 8: time home buyers. These are all factors and I think
