Guard Your Heart
In today’s devotion, Pastor Kent reminds us that the real battle is not first in the mouth, the eyes, or the feet. It is in the heart. Proverbs 4 teaches us to guard the inner life with diligence because everything else flows from there. What we feed the heart shapes our desires. Our desires shape our choices. Our choices shape our direction. If the heart is left unguarded, life will be pulled where it was never meant to go. But when the heart is filled with God’s Word and submitted to His Spirit, the whole life begins to move in the right direction.
